- 1:28Speaker 4: I'm Brian.
- 1:29Speaker 8: I am Misty.
- 1:30Speaker 4: I'm Jay.
- 1:32Speaker 10: So we're back here in the car, moving right along.
- 1:34Speaker 8: Hippers.
- 1:35Speaker 4: Heading back home to be hopefully not destroyed by a
- 1:38Speaker 4: nuclear blast.
- 1:39Speaker 11: Cool.
- 1:39Speaker 12: Cool.
- 1:41Speaker 8: Yeah, that would suck.
- 1:41Speaker 10: We were discussing that earlier.
- 1:42Speaker 8: That's all right. I don't live in Louisville. I live
- 1:44Speaker 8: in New Albany, so you're screwed.
- 1:45Speaker 10: You still would have been taken out in the.
- 1:48Speaker 4: Aftermath?
- 1:48Speaker 10: In the return of the living dead blast, I'm sure
- 1:51Speaker 10: we were.
- 1:51Speaker 4: Taken that out. Yeah.
- 1:54Speaker 8: But at least it would have finally gotten rid of
- 1:55Speaker 8: our neighbor's house.
- 1:56Speaker 4: There you go. Yeah. So, Misty, you're probably not hungry
- 2:01Speaker 4: right now because earlier you had a cookie and.
- 2:04Speaker 8: Oh my good God, Bill Moseley gave me a cookie.
- 2:07Speaker 8: And I eated it. I eated it all up. And
- 2:10Speaker 8: it was a, what was it?
- 2:11Speaker 4: Pecan Sandy.
- 2:11Speaker 8: Pecan Sandy. I don't like pecan Sandy. But you know what?
- 2:14Speaker 8: If Bill Moseley offers you a cookie, you don't hunt
- 2:16Speaker 8: it down unless you're Jay. Yeah.
- 2:20Speaker 4: Yeah, I poop on everybody's parade. You do. I just
- 2:23Speaker 4: didn't know what it was. I turned around, I was like, ah,
- 2:25Speaker 4: what is this crazy person? Oh, it is a crazy person.
- 2:27Speaker 4: It's Phil Mosley.
- 2:28Speaker 10: What's he offering me?
- 2:29Speaker 4: Oh, cookies.
- 2:29Speaker 10: I like cookies.
- 2:30Speaker 12: No, dude, seriously.
- 2:31Speaker 4: Then I was all over some cookie. I just turned
- 2:32Speaker 4: around and I was like, ah, it's just somebody with cookies.
- 2:34Speaker 10: Oh, I'm Sandy.
- 2:35Speaker 12: Sorry.
- 2:36Speaker 8: I saw the cookie train coming. I saw him. I
- 2:38Speaker 8: saw him because he gave them to the people in
- 2:39Speaker 8: front of us first. And I'm like, he best be
- 2:41Speaker 8: fucking sharing them cookies. He don't be giving somebody's cookies.
- 2:45Speaker 8: Don't give me no cookies.
- 2:46Speaker 4: Pretty sure I asked for pecan seeds.
- 2:49Speaker 8: I have no idea what you've been doing that reference from.
- 2:52Speaker 10: It's Roger from American Cat.
- 2:56Speaker 8: Oh, I've never seen that show.
- 2:57Speaker 4: I actually like that show. I like that one a
- 2:59Speaker 4: hell of a lot more than Family Guy.
- 3:00Speaker 8: I like Family Guy better.
- 3:01Speaker 10: You didn't even watch it.
- 3:03Speaker 8: I've seen like a half an episode and I gave up.
- 3:05Speaker 10: He's awesome.
- 3:07Speaker 8: But yeah, Bill Moseley gave me a cookie and I
- 3:11Speaker 8: ate it.
- 3:11Speaker 4: Me too. And then we were trying to decide if
- 3:13Speaker 4: you were a fetus baby. Which is why I didn't
- 3:16Speaker 4: eat the cookie. I trust no one.
- 3:19Speaker 8: Not even Bill Moseley?
- 3:20Speaker 4: Not even Bill Moseley.
- 3:20Speaker 10: Well, I'd say especially Bill Moseley. I don't even talk
- 3:23Speaker 10: about my parents.
- 3:24Speaker 4: Then I was like, eh, it's Bill Moseley. I mean,
- 3:26Speaker 4: that's a hell of a story to tell here. Remember
- 3:28Speaker 4: that one time I got roofied by Bill Moseley?
- 3:30Speaker 8: My fear was that maybe somebody had given him the
- 3:32Speaker 8: cookies and they had, you know, roofied the, you know,
- 3:35Speaker 8: trying to get him all, you know.
- 3:36Speaker 4: And he was having other people test them for him.
- 3:38Speaker 8: Yeah, dude.
- 3:39Speaker 10: We are the guinea pigs of Bill Moseley.
- 3:42Speaker 8: It's all right.
- 3:42Speaker 4: Well, actually, I think that happened. I don't know about
- 3:45Speaker 4: the roofie part, but I'm pretty sure that's what the
- 3:47Speaker 4: other cookies probably were. Would you like to go into those?
- 3:50Speaker 4: That cookie story?
- 3:51Speaker 8: The cookie basketball game?
- 3:52Speaker 10: He had a whole lot of cookies action going on
- 3:54Speaker 10: this weekend.
- 3:55Speaker 8: He was tossing his cookies.
- 3:57Speaker 10: Those cookies are muffin.
- 4:00Speaker 8: I thought they were cookies.
- 4:01Speaker 4: They were just really thick cookies. They didn't spread out
- 4:03Speaker 4: very much.
- 4:04Speaker 8: I thought he said they were cookies.
- 4:06Speaker 13: I don't know.
- 4:06Speaker 8: They were in the air most of the time. I
- 4:08Speaker 8: didn't actually see.
- 4:09Speaker 10: He had like a big Ziploc bag full of homemade cookies.
- 4:11Speaker 8: Large jumbo size.
- 4:13Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:14Speaker 10: And then he was going to like.
- 4:16Speaker 4: He had already come over and, like, thrown some stuff
- 4:18Speaker 4: away in our general area because we're trashy and we
- 4:20Speaker 4: hang out by the trash.
- 4:21Speaker 8: Well, the cool kids hang out.
- 4:23Speaker 4: Well, obviously. Well, then, like, he came back the next time,
- 4:26Speaker 4: and he stopped midway, and he started, like, oh, oh,
- 4:28Speaker 4: here we go. Like, he was making his, like, here
- 4:29Speaker 4: we go, going to launch it in the air. So
- 4:31Speaker 4: he starts, like, whipping the cookies back and forth, and
- 4:34Speaker 4: then he lets go and... Misses.
- 4:36Speaker 10: Totally misses. So then.
- 4:38Speaker 4: He retrieves his cookies. He takes it upon himself to
- 4:41Speaker 4: then not only try again, but back up a little further.
- 4:45Speaker 10: He did this four times.
- 4:47Speaker 8: And he missed epically all four times.
- 4:50Speaker 4: I like the one that was just, he was trying
- 4:51Speaker 4: to bank it in. He was trying to hit the backboard,
- 4:53Speaker 4: but then it just hit the wall and went straight
- 4:55Speaker 4: down onto the floor.
- 4:57Speaker 8: You offered me the opportunity to try it, but I'm like, no,
- 5:00Speaker 8: this is all you.
- 5:01Speaker 4: I was just hoping he'd get across the room and
- 5:03Speaker 4: just be like, we've been injured. taken out random passers-by
- 5:07Speaker 4: in the process.
- 5:08Speaker 8: Seriously when that one clusterfuck of people like stood directly
- 5:10Speaker 8: in front of the garbage i'm like dude i want
- 5:11Speaker 8: him to like bean somebody in the fucking head.
- 5:13Speaker 4: It's like this is bill mosley he don't care he
- 5:15Speaker 4: gonna take you out he will kill you with a
- 5:17Speaker 4: cookie and once again a good story will be had
- 5:20Speaker 4: for the rest of us anyway surviving me remember that
- 5:24Speaker 4: time bill mosley killed a guy with a cookie.
- 5:26Speaker 8: He likes to wear purple a lot too i've noticed
- 5:27Speaker 8: he does seem to like that he's a very big
- 5:30Speaker 8: fan of purple Just like every other time we see him,
- 5:32Speaker 8: he's wearing a purple sweatshirt. Not the same purple sweatshirt.
- 5:35Speaker 8: Different purple sweatshirt.
- 5:36Speaker 10: He's got a lot of purple sweatshirt.
- 5:38Speaker 8: He looks good in purple, I guess.
- 5:39Speaker 10: He does, yeah.
- 5:40Speaker 8: Most people don't, but Bill Moseley, he looks good in
- 5:42Speaker 8: just about anything, especially for the French shirt.
- 5:45Speaker 4: It was a very, yeah, if you watch the, what
- 5:48Speaker 4: is it, House of the Thousand Corpses test footage or
- 5:51Speaker 4: rehearsal footage, he's wearing what? I don't know, it could
- 5:54Speaker 4: be like something Marcel Marceau would wear. It's like a
- 5:57Speaker 4: French mime shirt or something. It's a very odd choice
- 6:00Speaker 4: he makes. We couldn't decide if it was sailor or mime.
- 6:03Speaker 4: Either that or a gondola....
- 6:07Speaker 14: Operator?
- 6:07Speaker 4: Operator, yeah.
- 6:09Speaker 10: Driver?
- 6:10Speaker 4: Pusher. Pusher, yeah.
- 6:12Speaker 10: Pusher.
- 6:12Speaker 4: Pusher, you gotta take this gondola ride. I got your
- 6:15Speaker 4: gondola right here. You're gonna like it.
- 6:18Speaker 15: Hooray to all the pecan sandies.
- 6:26Speaker 4: Coochie, coochie, coochie.
- 6:28Speaker 16: Rock with the teapots of love. Let me touch your cookies.
- 6:32Speaker 16: Let me eat your cookies. Rock with the teapots of love.
- 6:38Speaker 16: Let me touch your cookies. Let me eat your cookies now.
- 6:50Speaker 5: We have just seen rushes direct from Hollywood of pictures
- 6:53Speaker 5: being released in the coming weeks. And we are proud
- 6:56Speaker 5: to announce that this theater will soon bring you the
- 6:58Speaker 5: greatest array of pictures ever to reach our screen. You'll
- 7:02Speaker 5: see the finest stars in exciting performances. You'll thrill to
- 7:06Speaker 5: the suspense, comedy, romance, and drama of world-famous stories. Here's
- 7:13Speaker 5: a glimpse of a few of them coming to this
- 7:15Speaker 5: theater soon.
- 7:16Speaker 11: It's Party Time!
- 7:23Speaker 3: Rock and roll will never die.
- 7:25Speaker 4: At least not this Halloween.
- 7:27Speaker 17: I've heard of raising spirits from the dead by incantations, right?
- 7:33Speaker 8: Yes.
- 7:35Speaker 2: I did that by playing the record backwards.
- 7:36Speaker 4: You're the man.
- 7:39Speaker 9: The man is you. Sammy Kerr. He's a rock and
- 7:43Speaker 9: roll nightmare.
- 7:46Speaker 4: I am a big fan of yours.
- 7:47Speaker 8: I've got all your records.
- 7:48Speaker 11: Shut up! This message, it's meant for me.
- 7:54Speaker 5: Sammy Kerr.
- 7:54Speaker 3: His fans won't let him die.
- 7:56Speaker 8: He won't let them live.
- 7:58Speaker 9: You should be loyal to your hero.
- 8:01Speaker 8: Make it turn on you.
- 8:05Speaker 11: Shut it off!
- 8:07Speaker 8: Shut it off! I bet we've been together for a
- 8:33Speaker 8: million years.
- 8:49Speaker 4: But you know what?
- 8:50Speaker 8: That's what it looks like.
- 8:52Speaker 17: But my friend Darlene from Orlando saw the picture and put.
- 8:56Speaker 8: A big capital F on it. Skippy! I was like, okay,
- 9:00Speaker 8: that's not funny, you know.
- 9:02Speaker 7: I've grown to cope myself.
- 9:03Speaker 8: No, I've grown.
- 9:05Speaker 4: to anyone. Come on, let's start this.
- 9:07Speaker 17: You're missing the goal.
- 9:08Speaker 4: Well, that's a good entryway.
- 9:11Speaker 12: Has it haunted you at this point?
- 9:14Speaker 4: I've grown to cope.
- 9:15Speaker 17: I say that as a joke, but it's true.
- 9:16Speaker 1: It's something that's.
- 9:18Speaker 17: Brought me a great deal of goodness.
- 9:21Speaker 4: That would be Mark Price, the actual name.
- 9:26Speaker 17: I think Ben Stiller actually said my character was Erwin
- 9:30Speaker 17: Skippy Handelman played by Mark Skippy Price.
- 9:33Speaker 9: Coincidentally.
- 9:35Speaker 4: That's good.
- 9:35Speaker 12: You should work that in.
- 9:37Speaker 4: This is for him?
- 9:37Speaker 8: Okay.
- 9:39Speaker 17: This is for one of the guys from Judas Priest.
- 9:42Speaker 15: Yes.
- 9:44Speaker 7: Rick Rowans, of.
- 9:45Speaker 4: Course, you've heard of him?
- 9:48Speaker 8: Yes.
- 9:48Speaker 11: Of course.
- 9:49Speaker 4: Okay.
- 9:50Speaker 3: Awesome.
- 9:51Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 9:52Speaker 5: I should pay you.
- 9:52Speaker 17: I'll give you a commission when I do my gig there.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Get out of here, man.
- 9:57Speaker 4: We're going to set up a gig in Akron, Ohio.
- 10:00Speaker 8: Am I on? Oh, yeah.
- 10:02Speaker 17: With the guy from Judas Priest at his tap house bar.
- 10:05Speaker 5: Perfect.
- 10:06Speaker 17: You may want to interview me after you're done with
- 10:08Speaker 17: him because this is a hero.
- 10:10Speaker 4: Because he was 17. I was 17.
- 10:14Speaker 17: This guy inspired me that it's okay to be different
- 10:19Speaker 17: because I went to a high school with all jocks.
- 10:22Speaker 4: In the movie, he was me.
- 10:24Speaker 17: I got picked on and bullied around. And he relates
- 10:28Speaker 17: to the movie, Trick or Treat, so much. But on
- 10:30Speaker 17: Family Ties, it was similar for a lot of people.
- 10:32Speaker 4: I know you're into it the same way as the movie.
- 10:35Speaker 4: But a lot of people come up to me because
- 10:36Speaker 4: of Skippy and they.
- 10:36Speaker 8: Go, you know, I really was.
- 10:39Speaker 17: More people really like Skippy than they are the lead
- 10:41Speaker 17: characters in shows. If you think about it, the lead characters,
- 10:44Speaker 17: everything always works out in the end. When does everything
- 10:47Speaker 17: always work out in the end in real life?
- 10:49Speaker 12: Yeah, everybody's a Mallory. Nobody wants to be a Mallory.
- 10:52Speaker 4: We're all scared.
- 10:53Speaker 12: Come on. Well, that was one of the.
- 10:56Speaker 4: Tear it on the wall!
- 10:59Speaker 2: Tearing it down!
- 11:00Speaker 11: Oh, God!
- 11:01Speaker 17: We're going to start tearing down posters, man!
- 11:05Speaker 18: That's how we close.
- 11:07Speaker 8: We'll close on Sunday.
- 11:08Speaker 4: We'll crank it. Well, that's one everybody still probably.
- 11:15Speaker 8: I.
- 11:15Speaker 4: Think a lot of people it catches off guard that
- 11:17Speaker 4: you do stand-up, but in truth you were doing stand-up
- 11:21Speaker 4: before you were ever acting, isn't it? That's my little secret.
- 11:24Speaker 17: I was on the Merv Griffin when I was 14.
- 11:26Speaker 17: A little stand-up comedian. A little bit unusual.
- 11:29Speaker 4: So, I guess, how did you get... interested in that
- 11:32Speaker 4: were like specific comedians you were interested in that young.
- 11:34Speaker 17: Yeah definitely I was into the 80s comics that got
- 11:37Speaker 17: huge they all became the biggest stars today but I
- 11:40Speaker 17: knew them all before and I literally knew them as
- 11:42Speaker 17: well as watched them do their act Jay Leno Jerry
- 11:44Speaker 17: Seinfeld name a guy that's huge today Tim Allen Kevin
- 11:48Speaker 17: James I worked with all these guys Dane Cook Jay
- 11:50Speaker 17: Moore a lot of these guys opened for me not
- 11:53Speaker 17: Jay Leno and Jerry Seinfeld because they were already huge
- 11:55Speaker 17: comedians before they became TV stars but guys like Dane
- 11:59Speaker 17: Cook and Jay Moore used to open for me very
- 12:03Speaker 17: funny absolutely no i recognized he was going to be
- 12:06Speaker 17: a big star right away first time i saw him
- 12:08Speaker 17: everyone in boston knew it they used to call it
- 12:10Speaker 17: dane envy.
- 12:13Speaker 4: So that young what made you think you could go
- 12:15Speaker 4: into stand-up was there something.
- 12:17Speaker 17: My father was a comedian so it was really easy
- 12:20Speaker 17: for me to follow in his footsteps just like a
- 12:23Speaker 17: young plumber might teach his son the trade And so
- 12:28Speaker 17: I had a lot of long car rides where we'd
- 12:30Speaker 17: listen back to his show and we'd analyze things and
- 12:33Speaker 17: I'd watch his show backstage. And it was just a
- 12:36Speaker 17: natural progression for me.
- 12:37Speaker 8: I joined him. I used to join him when I was.
- 12:38Speaker 17: Really little and do jokes and stuff, introduce him, like
- 12:41Speaker 17: open for him a little, you know.
- 12:43Speaker 4: And you got on that show that we won't mention.
- 12:46Speaker 4: But I was going to say... Everybody asks, and I
- 12:50Speaker 4: guess this is Michael J.
- 12:52Speaker 5: Fox.
- 12:52Speaker 8: He's a jerk, right?
- 12:53Speaker 4: No, stop it. Well, it's the Tom F.
- 12:57Speaker 8: Wilson.
- 12:57Speaker 4: Have you heard him do his, because he does stand-up now, too.
- 13:00Speaker 8: He does the song, right? And he does, yeah, he
- 13:01Speaker 8: does that.
- 13:01Speaker 4: Like, everybody wants me to just tell, oh, God, I.
- 13:03Speaker 8: Hated that guy.
- 13:04Speaker 4: What is it like working with Michael J.
- 13:05Speaker 8: Fox?
- 13:05Speaker 4: He's like, yeah, he's always like, how can you hate him?
- 13:08Speaker 4: He's Michael J.
- 13:08Speaker 11: Fox.
- 13:09Speaker 4: So I thought you guys need to, like, do a
- 13:11Speaker 4: bill together.
- 13:11Speaker 8: I would love to.
- 13:13Speaker 17: He's one of my favorites. He's been doing it since
- 13:15Speaker 17: before he was acting, too. And I remember him, actually.
- 13:19Speaker 17: He was probably one of the hottest guys doing it
- 13:22Speaker 17: back in the early 80s. And he had a tuba.
- 13:25Speaker 17: He would bring a tuba on stage. And he's still
- 13:28Speaker 17: one of my favorite funny people.
- 13:29Speaker 4: He's great. He's really cool. I guess getting into Trick
- 13:33Speaker 4: or Treat, was that a specific move on your part
- 13:37Speaker 4: to do something kind of very different from Irwin?
- 13:40Speaker 2: Honestly, I just got.
- 13:41Speaker 8: And it wasn't that different. I just got the audition and...
- 13:45Speaker 8: I wanted to make a movie really bad.
- 13:47Speaker 12: I worked hard at it.
- 13:48Speaker 4: TV or?
- 13:50Speaker 17: No, for the movie audition, you know, and I worked
- 13:52Speaker 17: at it really hard. I actually put a monologue from
- 13:55Speaker 17: the movie on cassette tape and dropped it off to
- 13:57Speaker 17: the director, which is a ballsy move. You never know
- 13:59Speaker 17: how that's going to work. It could work against you.
- 14:01Speaker 17: You could be like, what is this fucking idiot? But
- 14:03Speaker 17: in this case, he was impressed.
- 14:04Speaker 4: He liked it. He was like, all right, let's do this.
- 14:06Speaker 17: I think I took the role away from Keanu Reeves.
- 14:08Speaker 17: I don't think the producers are very happy about that now.
- 14:12Speaker 17: But these things happen.
- 14:14Speaker 4: Yeah, what do you mean?
- 14:15Speaker 8: Oops.
- 14:15Speaker 2: They screwed up.
- 14:16Speaker 12: She's in a movie, right?
- 14:20Speaker 9: She must be.
- 14:22Speaker 8: Human Centipede?
- 14:22Speaker 11: No?
- 14:23Speaker 8: That's not the Human Centipede?
- 14:24Speaker 12: I think it's Henry St.
- 14:25Speaker 8: John.
- 14:25Speaker 4: Weird movie to be in, or to be known for. Infamous.
- 14:28Speaker 4: Are you doing some sort of Human Centipede contest here?
- 14:31Speaker 4: I believe they are. How is that going to work?
- 14:34Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 14:35Speaker 4: If there's not stitching involved, it's not real. Well, I'm
- 14:42Speaker 4: just going to let you wrap up. You've got a
- 14:44Speaker 4: lot of projects going. What did you want to tell people?
- 14:47Speaker 4: Where to get a hold of you or what gifts
- 14:48Speaker 4: you've got?
- 14:49Speaker 8: Human Skippy Pete.
- 14:52Speaker 4: Human Skippy Pete. Dot com.
- 14:56Speaker 17: We're going to make the longest set of feet of nerds.
- 15:00Speaker 4: Oh, they're doing that here already.
- 15:01Speaker 8: Okay.
- 15:01Speaker 4: Yeah, done.
- 15:03Speaker 5: Sorry.
- 15:04Speaker 4: But no, did you have any projects coming up you
- 15:06Speaker 4: wanted to tell people about?
- 15:07Speaker 5: That's right.
- 15:07Speaker 17: I was producer this year for Showtime of green-collar comedy,
- 15:10Speaker 17: an eco-friendly comedy show, the first of its kind. And
- 15:13Speaker 17: I just did another thing for GE with Randy Kagan
- 15:16Speaker 17: called Funny by Nature for the web.
- 15:18Speaker 8: So you can look for that.
- 15:19Speaker 17: There's webisodes called Funny by Nature. It'll be out this summer.
- 15:22Speaker 17: And over the years, I've done some stuff behind the scenes.
- 15:24Speaker 8: Most people don't know that.
- 15:25Speaker 17: Game Show Network, E!
- 15:26Speaker 2: TBS, created and produced shows.
- 15:29Speaker 8: And I'm always trying to get the next one on.
- 15:31Speaker 11: Definitely.
- 15:31Speaker 8: Looking for a hit.
- 15:33Speaker 12: Sounds good.
- 15:33Speaker 17: It's hard when family ties are so popular at such
- 15:35Speaker 17: a young age to top it.
- 15:37Speaker 8: It's called pre-career elation.
- 15:39Speaker 4: It's still there.
- 15:41Speaker 8: But I'm working on it.
- 15:42Speaker 4: You can overcome it.
- 15:44Speaker 3: All right.
- 15:44Speaker 4: Well, thank you for talking to us today.
- 15:45Speaker 1: Love you guys.
- 15:45Speaker 11: Thank you.
- 15:46Speaker 8: Cool.
- 16:00Speaker 18: I like it, you like it.
- 16:07Speaker 11: I like to rock. I like to rock.
- 16:12Speaker 4: Popcorn freshly popped and buttered.
- 16:15Speaker 5: Look good?
- 16:16Speaker 3: Sure, it looks good and it tastes even better.

- 16:58Speaker 6: You're listening to Movie Meltdown.
- 16:59Speaker 4: Remember, Michael Bay sucks.
- 17:03Speaker 11: It's time for Sofa Theater.
- 17:06Speaker 16: Since the birth of time, humanity has endeavored to restrain
- 17:13Speaker 16: evil men in prisons.
- 17:25Speaker 6: But since Kane fled the murder of his brother, evil
- 17:28Speaker 6: men have fled the walls of punishment. So it doesn't
- 17:32Speaker 6: matter if you're a badass motherfucker on the run because
- 17:35Speaker 6: you think you're better than everyone else and somehow entitled
- 17:38Speaker 6: to do what you gotta do.
- 17:41Speaker 4: No.
- 17:42Speaker 6: Because you see, badass motherfuckers are never fast enough. In
- 17:48Speaker 6: the end, they will all be accounted for.
- 18:03Speaker 19: .
- 18:06Speaker 11: .
- 18:12Speaker 19: .
- 18:16Speaker 20: Are you driving?
- 18:28Speaker 8: Are you angry? You don't look angry. No, I'm pretty.
- 18:33Speaker 4: Cool right now.
- 18:35Speaker 8: You call him collected?
- 18:38Speaker 11: Alright.
- 18:38Speaker 4: I got my stress ball.
- 18:40Speaker 8: You brought your stress ball just so he doesn't get angry.
- 18:44Speaker 8: I love health bears. Alright, let's start.
- 18:48Speaker 10: Alright, so we are.
- 18:50Speaker 4: Back here in the car, and this seems fitting because
- 18:54Speaker 4: since we're driving back and forth to and from the show,
- 18:56Speaker 4: we thought we'd work in a movie this week, and
- 18:59Speaker 4: it will be Drive Angry. So, that is the sofa
- 19:04Speaker 4: theater feature of the week. It is Drive Angry.
- 19:07Speaker 8: I like to have it in the sofa theater if
- 19:09Speaker 8: we're not on the sofa or in the theater.
- 19:11Speaker 4: The sofa theater is ones that you watch outside of
- 19:14Speaker 4: the theater in the comfort of your home. Didn't you
- 19:16Speaker 4: watch this in your home?
- 19:17Speaker 12: No.
- 19:18Speaker 8: I did. That's your line.
- 19:20Speaker 4: I did.
- 19:20Speaker 8: I totally made that up.
- 19:22Speaker 4: So once again, this is Sofa Theater Hits the Road
- 19:25Speaker 4: for the review itself. But technically, I'm still calling it that.
- 19:29Speaker 12: All right.
- 19:30Speaker 4: So the year is 2011. The director, I want to
- 19:34Speaker 4: say it more French-like. I swear I heard him pronounce it,
- 19:37Speaker 4: and he pronounced it pretty bland. Patrick, I think he
- 19:40Speaker 4: said Lusser. I was trying to say Lussier. I was
- 19:44Speaker 4: trying to give him credit and make him fancy and boring.
- 19:46Speaker 4: I think he said Patrick.
- 19:47Speaker 8: I was saying Timothy Oliphant or Oliphant. And I was
- 19:50Speaker 8: saying it wrong.
- 19:51Speaker 4: It's Oliphant. It's not fun at all. No, not really.
- 19:54Speaker 4: So yeah, I think he's Patrick Lusser is how he
- 19:57Speaker 4: said it. The plot according to IMDb. There's a plot
- 20:01Speaker 4: to this? Oh, there's a plot. A vengeful father escapes
- 20:05Speaker 4: from hell and chases after the men who killed his
- 20:08Speaker 4: daughter and kidnapped his granddaughter.
- 20:09Speaker 8: They kind of Spoil it right there, because they don't
- 20:11Speaker 8: tell you at the beginning that he's from hell. It
- 20:12Speaker 8: kind of ruined the whole thing.
- 20:14Speaker 4: So, spoiler alert.
- 20:15Speaker 8: Yeah, spoiler alert. I thought he was just escaped from
- 20:17Speaker 8: prison or something. That's what I thought until, like, more
- 20:20Speaker 8: than halfway through, and then they start dropping hints, and
- 20:23Speaker 8: I'm like, holy shit, this is going somewhere I didn't
- 20:25Speaker 8: even know it was going to go. I'll be damned.
- 20:27Speaker 4: So, well, I mean, they do that little thing right
- 20:29Speaker 4: at the very beginning, but there's a lot of it
- 20:32Speaker 4: they don't totally go into until well into the movie. But,
- 20:36Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 20:37Speaker 10: Where would you like to begin?
- 20:39Speaker 8: Fucking hate nicholas cage he's a horrible actor but i
- 20:42Speaker 8: think he's embraced his own cheesiness for this movie and
- 20:45Speaker 8: he embraced how ridiculous he is because it's just like
- 20:48Speaker 8: it's like a parody it's like somebody pretending to be
- 20:51Speaker 8: nicholas cage and getting all of his retardedness right but
- 20:54Speaker 8: it's him so it's like it's like him it's almost
- 20:56Speaker 8: him doing a parody of himself but like i don't
- 20:59Speaker 8: know if he's realizing he's doing a parody because it's
- 21:00Speaker 8: just so fucking ridiculous.
- 21:03Speaker 4: I don't mind nicholas cage you like nicholas i like
- 21:05Speaker 4: nicholas He's hit and miss. Somebody's got to like him.
- 21:08Speaker 4: I mean, he's one of those that I've said for years.
- 21:10Speaker 4: It's like he can turn in 10 horrible, not just horrible,
- 21:14Speaker 4: really bad performances. And then just when you've written him
- 21:17Speaker 4: off and you're just like, oh, that's it.
- 21:19Speaker 9: He's useless.
- 21:20Speaker 4: He comes back with a really good performance. And it's
- 21:23Speaker 4: like you still find that like, oh, look, yeah, he is.
- 21:26Speaker 10: An Oscar winning actor.
- 21:27Speaker 4: He really can do acting when he wants to. And
- 21:29Speaker 4: then he goes back to doing just terrible, terrible stuff.
- 21:33Speaker 4: I'm trying to get her to watch Valley Girl, because
- 21:35Speaker 4: that's one of my favorite movies.
- 21:37Speaker 10: That's a chick flick.
- 21:37Speaker 4: It's my chick flick. Dude, I like a lot of
- 21:40Speaker 4: chick movies.
- 21:40Speaker 21: I don't know why.
- 21:41Speaker 8: You like more chick movies than I do. I know.
- 21:43Speaker 4: I don't know what my problem is. Well, that one's
- 21:45Speaker 4: like 80s slash chick movies.
- 21:48Speaker 8: It's heavy 80s.
- 21:49Speaker 22: It's got Nicolas Cage, and he's kind of an early
- 21:52Speaker 22: 80s punk, and he's got his V-shaped chest hair, and.
- 21:56Speaker 8: You're awful interested in that V-shaped chest hair.
- 21:59Speaker 22: Dude, I don't know how he gets a V-shaped chest hair.
- 22:01Speaker 22: It's like he fucking sculpted it or something. I don't
- 22:05Speaker 22: have much chest hair. I don't have much chest hair
- 22:07Speaker 22: because I'm a half Asian.
- 22:07Speaker 8: I am thankful for that. I do not like chest hair.
- 22:10Speaker 8: I like just the way you are.
- 22:11Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 22:12Speaker 16: Okay.
- 22:13Speaker 4: Oh, I don't know. When I was in high school,
- 22:15Speaker 4: I wasn't cool because I didn't have chest hair.
- 22:17Speaker 23: You know?
- 22:17Speaker 4: Now it's not cool.
- 22:18Speaker 8: I'm sure that's one of the many reasons you weren't
- 22:19Speaker 8: cool in high school. Oh, shut up! I'd come up
- 22:23Speaker 8: with a whole list. I'll get my pen and paper
- 22:24Speaker 8: back out. Whatever.
- 22:28Speaker 4: I mean, that's my thing. Having, you know, a couple
- 22:30Speaker 4: weeks back, I did my whole take on another one
- 22:33Speaker 4: that was sort of trying to be very exploitation-like. I
- 22:37Speaker 4: talked about Bitch Slap. And that one was, like, one
- 22:40Speaker 4: that sort of, like, it had a lot of good elements.
- 22:42Speaker 4: It definitely knew what it was trying to be, but
- 22:44Speaker 4: something missed the mark.
- 22:46Speaker 16: Like, this one.
- 22:47Speaker 23: didn't really miss the mark like this one knows awesome
- 22:50Speaker 23: it knows what it's trying to be and somehow delivers
- 22:54Speaker 23: on all i mean even when it's like bad it
- 22:56Speaker 23: knows that it's bad but it delivers it in a
- 22:58Speaker 23: way that's just entertaining and like just ridiculous enough that
- 23:02Speaker 23: you're totally buying into it and having fun with it
- 23:05Speaker 23: but still ridiculous enough that you're like wait They didn't
- 23:08Speaker 23: really do this in this movie, did they?
- 23:09Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 23:09Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, they did.
- 23:10Speaker 8: That's how me and Jay were watching. I'm like, oh, what? Yeah,
- 23:13Speaker 8: they did. They did that. Yeah, look at that. I mean,
- 23:17Speaker 8: it was so over the top and ridiculous. I was
- 23:20Speaker 8: leery at first by watching it because I really, really
- 23:22Speaker 8: don't like Nicolas Cage, but I love me some Amber Heard.
- 23:25Speaker 8: And I also love William Fincher. Is that a thing?
- 23:28Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 23:28Speaker 8: Fincher?
- 23:28Speaker 4: Fichtner? I don't know. Fichtner, I believe, is how they
- 23:32Speaker 4: pronounced it in the real world.
- 23:33Speaker 8: He was awesome. He was one of the best parts
- 23:35Speaker 8: of this entire movie. He played the... Accountant? I put
- 23:40Speaker 8: a quotation here.
- 23:41Speaker 4: The accountant.
- 23:42Speaker 8: His fucking character in this movie is just so fucking awesome.
- 23:45Speaker 8: I love his character. He has the best lines in
- 23:47Speaker 8: this movie. He's just the best character in this movie.
- 23:51Speaker 8: He's the reason to watch this movie. It's William Pickner
- 23:53Speaker 8: or whatever his name is. I was shocked. I was like, hey, look,
- 23:57Speaker 8: it's Grace's boyfriend. And Jay was like, what the hell
- 23:59Speaker 8: are you talking about? It's Grace's boyfriend. Yeah, who?
- 24:03Speaker 4: I still don't know what you're talking about.
- 24:06Speaker 11: Grace.
- 24:06Speaker 4: Grace who?
- 24:07Speaker 8: Grace Under Fire.
- 24:08Speaker 4: I never watched that show. I was like, hopefully not
- 24:11Speaker 4: Will and Grace.
- 24:12Speaker 8: No. Grace Under Fire.
- 24:14Speaker 4: That's what I was like, I know you.
- 24:15Speaker 10: Didn't watch that, right?
- 24:16Speaker 4: So what the hell are.
- 24:17Speaker 8: You talking about? You're not talking about Grace Under Fire.
- 24:18Speaker 4: I remember Grace Under Fire, but I kind of forgot.
- 24:20Speaker 4: I watch Will and Grace every once in a while.
- 24:24Speaker 4: Will and Grace makes my head hurt. It's just so cheesy.
- 24:28Speaker 4: It's cheesy, but it's got some enjoyment. It's so sitcom-y.
- 24:31Speaker 4: It just chews on the sitcom level. I like the...
- 24:36Speaker 4: What's her name? Because she was such a bitch. Oh,
- 24:38Speaker 4: Debra Metz, do you know? No, what's her name?
- 24:40Speaker 8: Megan Mullally?
- 24:41Speaker 4: Yeah, Megan Mullally. I actually did like... That was the
- 24:43Speaker 4: only saving grace. Do you have an accent for her?
- 24:45Speaker 13: Huh?
- 24:46Speaker 8: No, I don't. I'm sorry. But anyway, back to Drive Angry.
- 24:51Speaker 8: I love William Fichtner. I loved everything about this movie,
- 24:54Speaker 8: which is shocking because I fucking.
- 24:56Speaker 22: It's Nick Cage, and he's driving fucking Nicholas Cage, and
- 24:59Speaker 22: he's driving fucking angry.
- 25:01Speaker 4: He is. He's fucking mad. He's pissed off, and he's
- 25:03Speaker 4: driving muscle cars.
- 25:05Speaker 8: Driving a Charger for most of it. Yeah. Amber Heard
- 25:07Speaker 8: stole from her boyfriend.
- 25:08Speaker 11: Yeah, yeah.
- 25:09Speaker 4: But, I mean.
- 25:10Speaker 10: She was making paint.
- 25:12Speaker 8: Oh, well, yeah.
- 25:12Speaker 4: It's a great movie.
- 25:13Speaker 14: It's like muscle cars just fall out of the sky,
- 25:15Speaker 14: and he just happens across all of them.
- 25:17Speaker 22: It's not like real life where, you know, you're like.
- 25:20Speaker 22: come across a Hyundai, you know, and you're like, ah,
- 25:23Speaker 22: I'm driving angry in a Hyundai. Because I know you
- 25:25Speaker 22: can't drive angry in a Hyundai. I mean, you could,
- 25:27Speaker 22: but you really, you're.
- 25:28Speaker 4: Driving a Hyundai. But I mean, a Charger? You're like,
- 25:31Speaker 4: holy shit, motherfucker's driving angrily in a Charger. Get the
- 25:34Speaker 4: fuck out of his way. This is a damn Charger.
- 25:37Speaker 4: Fucking A. That's what I thought was funny. It was like,
- 25:41Speaker 4: it was almost like, this is the guy version of
- 25:44Speaker 4: girls changing clothes. girls like love to change clothes and
- 25:47Speaker 4: they got their fancy outfits and like oh i want
- 25:49Speaker 4: to be seen in my other fancy outfit this was
- 25:51Speaker 4: like three times in this movie he changes to a
- 25:53Speaker 4: different car granted one of them's really fast but i
- 25:56Speaker 4: mean he goes you know oh i've done that one
- 25:58Speaker 4: for a while i want another fancy car i want
- 26:00Speaker 4: a cool muscle car uh let's do we have a
- 26:03Speaker 4: chevelle somebody come on oh.
- 26:04Speaker 8: Yeah they broke one of his cars they broke.
- 26:07Speaker 4: Several of them yeah oh geez what's going on Drive angry. Yeah.
- 26:14Speaker 8: But yeah, it's pretty much just him trying to kill
- 26:18Speaker 8: Bella's dad the entire movie.
- 26:20Speaker 4: Well, that's what I was thinking when I saw that.
- 26:22Speaker 4: I was like... Bella and Twilight?
- 26:23Speaker 8: Yeah, Bella.
- 26:24Speaker 4: Team Mustache Man?
- 26:25Speaker 8: Yes. That was her.
- 26:27Speaker 4: That was Team Mustache Man?
- 26:29Speaker 12: Yes.
- 26:29Speaker 8: Oh, really?
- 26:30Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 26:30Speaker 8: See, that's the thing.
- 26:31Speaker 4: He was a swell guy. I didn't think of that
- 26:34Speaker 4: because I kind of... I kind of watched the first one,
- 26:38Speaker 4: but I blocked it out. I still haven't watched the
- 26:40Speaker 4: last two. I didn't recognize the mustache. It's Billy Burke.
- 26:42Speaker 8: It's Billy Burke.
- 26:44Speaker 4: But he's still the dad in Red Riding Hood. I
- 26:47Speaker 4: didn't see that.
- 26:49Speaker 5: Yeah, I know.
- 26:49Speaker 4: You guys didn't see it, but that's the thing. He's
- 26:50Speaker 4: the dad in that, too. So I'm just sitting there
- 26:52Speaker 4: the whole time going, isn't he dad?
- 26:54Speaker 8: He's always dad. He's Bella's dad, for God's sake.
- 26:58Speaker 4: He's Red's dad.
- 27:01Speaker 8: But yeah it's pretty much nicholas cage trying to kill
- 27:06Speaker 8: bella's dad because bella's dad kidnapped his granddaughter.
- 27:10Speaker 4: Grandbaby yeah the baby the whole plot's kind of confusing
- 27:14Speaker 4: and yet at the same time you don't give a
- 27:16Speaker 4: rat like that part of it they go so far
- 27:19Speaker 4: into like trying to explain some of the other more
- 27:22Speaker 4: mystical stuff but some of the basics i'm just like Well,
- 27:25Speaker 4: he's a crazy, crazy cult guy. He stole the baby
- 27:29Speaker 4: of Nicolas Cage's daughter. After he killed her. In the cult. Yeah,
- 27:33Speaker 4: and then he killed her because she, you know. I
- 27:36Speaker 4: won't say it because I'll spoil some parts of it
- 27:38Speaker 4: and then you'll realize.
- 27:39Speaker 8: Are you trying to spoil it or are you something else?
- 27:40Speaker 4: No, no, I'm just saying. I'll leave it with other
- 27:42Speaker 4: people to figure that out.
- 27:43Speaker 8: We already spoiled the main part.
- 27:45Speaker 4: We can throw out the double spoiler alert for the
- 27:48Speaker 4: end if we need to.
- 27:49Speaker 10: Because that's my thing.
- 27:50Speaker 4: I kind of have like, okay, during this, where was
- 27:52Speaker 4: Nicolas Cage?
- 27:54Speaker 8: I don't know. Oh, he was in jail.
- 27:57Speaker 4: Was he?
- 27:57Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 27:57Speaker 8: He was in jail for a while.
- 27:58Speaker 4: He was in jail for a while.
- 27:59Speaker 23: I mean, yeah.
- 28:00Speaker 4: No, the whole time she was growing up, he was
- 28:02Speaker 4: in jail.
- 28:03Speaker 10: So where does he.
- 28:03Speaker 4: Come from immediately at the beginning of the movie to
- 28:06Speaker 4: take care of all this business?
- 28:08Speaker 11: Hell.
- 28:08Speaker 10: How did he get to hell?
- 28:09Speaker 4: He died.
- 28:10Speaker 8: He died.
- 28:10Speaker 4: When was this?
- 28:11Speaker 8: I forgot to try. That's what I'm saying.
- 28:13Speaker 4: This is all sort of like, they gloss over that,
- 28:16Speaker 4: which I'm kind of like, that's a basic thing. And
- 28:19Speaker 4: then after two minutes, I was like, I don't care.
- 28:21Speaker 4: Blow up another car or something.
- 28:22Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 28:23Speaker 4: But to me, that's kind of a big thing that
- 28:25Speaker 4: they should have brought up at the beginning, the fact
- 28:27Speaker 4: that he was... I mean, granted, they were trying to
- 28:31Speaker 4: play it off a little bit, I guess, and get
- 28:33Speaker 4: you midway into the plot before they go into the
- 28:34Speaker 4: full-on mystical, spiritual, however you want to look at some
- 28:37Speaker 4: of the other crazy stuff.
- 28:38Speaker 8: That shit totally caught me off guard. When I saw
- 28:41Speaker 8: the trailer, I didn't expect some big old mystical, oh,
- 28:44Speaker 8: he's from hell, go on, kill this guy. I didn't
- 28:46Speaker 8: expect any of that. It's like, hey, you're driving angry.
- 28:49Speaker 8: I didn't know it was going to be something like
- 28:50Speaker 8: big old, he got out of hell. I didn't expect
- 28:54Speaker 8: any of that when I first started watching it. I
- 28:55Speaker 8: didn't even realize that that was the whole thing until, like,
- 28:58Speaker 8: halfway through the movie. I'm like, he did.
- 29:02Speaker 4: Well, that was mine. Like, yeah, I was going to
- 29:03Speaker 4: say that, too. I was like, the advertising, in a way, like,
- 29:07Speaker 4: missed that opportunity. Like, on the one hand, I could
- 29:10Speaker 4: almost see them, like, Going, oh, regular audiences, you know,
- 29:14Speaker 4: general audiences are going to be, like, scared off by
- 29:16Speaker 4: this weird mystical thing.
- 29:17Speaker 13: Fucking devil worshippers. They freak me the fuck out. Messing
- 29:22Speaker 13: with powers they ought not to. Turns my shit white.
- 29:25Speaker 11: No, that's real.
- 29:30Speaker 8: UFOs, Bigfoot, ghosts, that's bullshit.
- 29:34Speaker 13: Devils and demons. Once you open those doors, you just
- 29:39Speaker 13: can't close them. But you know that, don't you?
- 29:43Speaker 4: The other thing I thought it might be too close
- 29:45Speaker 4: to Hell Rider is what they were trying to avoid.
- 29:47Speaker 4: The what?
- 29:48Speaker 10: Ghost Rider?
- 29:49Speaker 4: Yeah, Ghost Rider. Yeah, that's what I kind of said, too.
- 29:51Speaker 4: I was like, wasn't he just in a movie where
- 29:53Speaker 4: he came back from hell?
- 29:54Speaker 10: Yeah, and sort of that same thing.
- 29:56Speaker 4: It's like, I'm a badass from hell and I'm riding
- 29:58Speaker 4: around instead of on a bike in a car. But yeah,
- 30:00Speaker 4: he kind of sucked in Ghost Rider. And that's the thing.
- 30:03Speaker 4: Ghost Rider's terrible. I mean, it's written terrible. He's bad
- 30:06Speaker 4: in it. So it's like... He was in Ghost Writer.
- 30:10Speaker 10: No, that was Ewan McGregor.
- 30:13Speaker 22: Yeah.
- 30:13Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 30:27Speaker 4: Because, other than that, yeah, those ads made it just
- 30:30Speaker 4: look like an action movie. Like a normal... Like a
- 30:32Speaker 4: revenge movie. Yeah, a normal, like... It was 3D.
- 30:36Speaker 22: It's Nicolas Cage driving around pissed, and he's gonna blow
- 30:39Speaker 22: some shit up and kill people, and he's driving.
- 30:40Speaker 4: In some cool cars.
- 30:41Speaker 8: It's Amber Heard, and she's hot, you know?
- 30:44Speaker 4: That's what it all looked like. But yeah, like, right
- 30:46Speaker 4: off the bat, they get this, you know, shot of hell,
- 30:48Speaker 4: and I'm just like, oh, okay. It was like, we're
- 30:52Speaker 4: taking a very different turn. Immediately, it's like stuff that
- 30:55Speaker 4: I didn't even know you were going to go into
- 30:57Speaker 4: is like Where you're setting up the story. Yeah, and
- 30:59Speaker 4: what's crazy is all the crazy cult guys are all, like,
- 31:04Speaker 4: southern guys, you know? What's up with that?
- 31:06Speaker 8: You just wanted to break your accent back out.
- 31:08Speaker 14: No, no, I just want to know because, I mean,
- 31:09Speaker 14: I guess because nobody's afraid of northern cult guys because,
- 31:14Speaker 14: you know, I mean, who's afraid of a cult guy
- 31:16Speaker 14: from Jersey.
- 31:17Speaker 8: You know?
- 31:18Speaker 4: Well, there's other reasons to be more freaked out by Jersey.
- 31:20Speaker 4: Massachusetts or something like that. I can't say that.
- 31:23Speaker 8: I can't say that right. Massachusetts.
- 31:27Speaker 4: Massachusetts. Yeah, and nobody from California is really going to
- 31:30Speaker 4: be killing you because they're just... I don't know.
- 31:31Speaker 8: They're pretty crazy in California.
- 31:33Speaker 22: Eh, you know.
- 31:35Speaker 4: I'm not too concerned about that. I don't know if
- 31:37Speaker 4: Jersey is the best example, though, because I saw the
- 31:38Speaker 4: situation on TV the other day. That dude is scary.
- 31:42Speaker 4: For different reasons.
- 31:43Speaker 14: Yeah, I know, but he's too busy, like, frosting his
- 31:46Speaker 14: hair and lifting weights.
- 31:47Speaker 4: That's his cult.
- 31:48Speaker 22: It's going to be, okay, everybody let's frost our hair.
- 31:50Speaker 4: And lift weights and look at ourselves in the mirror.
- 31:53Speaker 22: You know, it's not like, hey, we're going to, you know,
- 31:55Speaker 22: we're going to bring back the devil and, you know,
- 31:59Speaker 22: shit like that.
- 31:59Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 32:01Speaker 8: Don't fill up babies for the situation.
- 32:03Speaker 4: No, I guess because the South is so... I guess
- 32:06Speaker 4: because it's kind of.
- 32:08Speaker 4: It's kind of so rooted in religion and there's, you know, the... Southern,
- 32:12Speaker 4: you know, shit like that. You can definitely work in
- 32:15Speaker 4: that crazy snake handling kind of plot line. Yeah, yeah,
- 32:18Speaker 4: I guess you're right. Snake handling. I'm watching it, and
- 32:22Speaker 4: I'm just like, wow. And it's a shame, because we
- 32:24Speaker 4: all watched it at home.
- 32:26Speaker 10: But I'm like, this is so 3D.
- 32:29Speaker 8: I didn't want to pay to see it in the movie,
- 32:31Speaker 8: in the theater, because it's fucking ridiculously overpriced. I'm like, oh.
- 32:34Speaker 4: So it's like 2D.
- 32:35Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 32:36Speaker 8: It probably took a lot of fun out of it.
- 32:37Speaker 4: Probably. Because so many of the gimmicks, I mean, it
- 32:40Speaker 4: was just so much stuff flying at the screen. I
- 32:43Speaker 4: had to guess. I had to pretend.
- 32:44Speaker 8: I was sitting there throwing stuff at him.
- 32:49Speaker 4: I'm going to whip this at your head. Now you'll
- 32:50Speaker 4: get the full experience. That entire hurt. Well, it was
- 32:55Speaker 4: the big explosion. You had to have the finale.
- 32:57Speaker 8: The flames and everything. Me with a lighter.
- 33:02Speaker 4: Good times.
- 33:03Speaker 10: Waving that lighter.
- 33:07Speaker 4: So, yeah, there was a lot of stuff flying at
- 33:09Speaker 4: the screen and them flipping things at the screen and
- 33:12Speaker 4: shooting bullets into your face. That was awesome. In a way,
- 33:17Speaker 4: it looks really cheesy, but maybe that's just because we're
- 33:20Speaker 4: watching the 2D down version, and the graphics maybe looked
- 33:24Speaker 4: better in 3D, but yeah, some of that stuff I
- 33:26Speaker 4: was just like, oh, wow, special effects.
- 33:29Speaker 8: I bet it looked just as cheesy in 3D. Probably, actually.
- 33:32Speaker 4: But, like, even the gore, like, the hand, right off
- 33:34Speaker 4: the bat, you get this bloody hand action. And I'm
- 33:36Speaker 4: just like, that looked cartoony as hell. But you know
- 33:41Speaker 4: everybody in the theater was like, yes!
- 33:43Speaker 3: You know?
- 33:44Speaker 10: That's what they were saying.
- 33:45Speaker 4: Like, it gets, like, a laugh reaction in everybody. Not a, oh, gore, oh,
- 33:49Speaker 4: I'm horrified. They were just, like, laughing every time that happened. And, like,
- 33:52Speaker 4: they thought that was awesome. So I'm just like, again,
- 33:54Speaker 4: they know what movie they're making here. So you can
- 33:57Speaker 4: kind of get on board with it. kind of movie
- 33:59Speaker 4: where you have chicks running around naked all the time.
- 34:02Speaker 10: Something about the.
- 34:04Speaker 4: Oh, that sex scene.
- 34:05Speaker 8: Let's think about that sex scene for a minute. Okay.
- 34:07Speaker 8: It reminded me of, like, what was that scene in
- 34:10Speaker 8: Shoot Em Up?
- 34:11Speaker 11: Oh, yeah.
- 34:11Speaker 8: He's having sex with that girl while he's having a
- 34:13Speaker 8: shootout at the same time. That shit's just insane. He's
- 34:17Speaker 8: having sex with this girl at the same time people
- 34:19Speaker 8: are trying to kill him. Yeah, there's just bullets flying everywhere.
- 34:22Speaker 8: He's still having sex with this girl while he's... Yeah. Yeah,
- 34:25Speaker 8: it was fucking awesome.
- 34:26Speaker 4: And, of course, she doesn't realize until.
- 34:27Speaker 8: Afterwards There's dead bodies laying there. Because their sex is
- 34:31Speaker 8: so great. I can't imagine sex with Nicolas Cage being
- 34:34Speaker 8: all that great.
- 34:36Speaker 4: Let's not imagine it.
- 34:37Speaker 8: But yeah, she's like fawning over him. Oh my god, gorgeous,
- 34:40Speaker 8: you're so beautiful. And I'm just like, dude, are you
- 34:44Speaker 8: looking at Nicolas Cage? Who are you talking to?
- 34:47Speaker 4: He's drunk again. Are you seeing his crazy hair this
- 34:50Speaker 4: movie out? It's different, but it's still crazy.
- 34:53Speaker 8: His hair was something. It was a big old greasy bag.
- 34:56Speaker 22: Ah, she's the chick that all the guys go home
- 34:58Speaker 22: with or everybody else is laughing because they're like, ha
- 35:01Speaker 22: ha ha, looks like she's got another one.
- 35:03Speaker 4: Well, that was this, I mean, it's, yeah, Patrick, our director,
- 35:07Speaker 4: just seems to like doing entire scenes of chicks naked.
- 35:11Speaker 8: But no Amber Heard naked.
- 35:13Speaker 4: Well, she's Amber Heard. She doesn't have to do that.
- 35:15Speaker 10: She's too awesome for that.
- 35:16Speaker 8: She is pretty awesome.
- 35:17Speaker 4: She is pretty damn awesome. But yeah, I mean, it's
- 35:20Speaker 4: like this one, I mean, You remember, I mean, this
- 35:22Speaker 4: is the same director who did My Bloody Valentine 3D.
- 35:24Speaker 4: Love that movie.
- 35:25Speaker 8: Yeah, you remember. Running through the parking lot scene.
- 35:27Speaker 4: Running around 3D naked.
- 35:28Speaker 10: In the heels.
- 35:29Speaker 8: In the heels. Oh, she wasn't completely naked. She had
- 35:31Speaker 8: her heels on. Running through the parking lot, giggling all about.
- 35:34Speaker 4: So, once again, we had those, not once, but twice
- 35:36Speaker 4: in this movie. You've got the girl at the beginning
- 35:38Speaker 4: that she comes in and is screwing around with her boyfriend. She's, like,
- 35:41Speaker 4: bitch slapping out on the street. Actually, John, she just
- 35:44Speaker 4: decks the hell out of her. Amber in this movie
- 35:46Speaker 4: does not fight like a girl. Amber beats people's ass.
- 35:49Speaker 8: Amber never fights like a girl, dude. She always fights
- 35:52Speaker 8: pretty tough.
- 35:52Speaker 4: She's a badass. So, yeah, she's beating this girl's ass
- 35:56Speaker 4: out on the street, totally naked. And then, you know,
- 35:59Speaker 4: we get to a few scenes later, we're in the
- 36:01Speaker 4: middle of that sex scene. I'm like, Which, once again,
- 36:03Speaker 4: I'm not complaining, but chick totally naked the entire scene.
- 36:07Speaker 4: Nicolas Cage completely clothed. Not complaining. Nobody wants to see
- 36:11Speaker 4: that shit.
- 36:12Speaker 8: Yeah, he had his shirt on, too, didn't he?
- 36:14Speaker 4: He had his jacket on.
- 36:15Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 36:16Speaker 4: His sunglasses on. I had sunglasses. And smoking a cigar.
- 36:21Speaker 12: Oh, shit.
- 36:22Speaker 4: Because, you know, you don't want to be naked when
- 36:24Speaker 4: you're about to get into a gunfight. It's some sort
- 36:26Speaker 4: of crazy... No one's prepared for being in a gunfight. Yeah,
- 36:29Speaker 4: he had to plan ahead because he knew there was
- 36:31Speaker 4: going to be a gun battle.
- 36:33Speaker 8: Layden's almost stopped.
- 36:35Speaker 11: It's just a graze.
- 36:38Speaker 8: Milton, those cops shot at us with no warning. They
- 36:41Speaker 8: weren't trying to arrest us.
- 36:42Speaker 13: They were trying to kill us. They were trying to
- 36:45Speaker 13: kill you.
- 36:46Speaker 8: But yeah, it's just so ridiculous beyond words. Everything about
- 36:49Speaker 8: this movie, I was just like shocked. I was just like, really?
- 36:53Speaker 11: Wow.
- 36:55Speaker 4: Yeah, there's a lot of just random, pointless violence that
- 36:58Speaker 4: you're just on board for.
- 37:01Speaker 8: I totally was. I was like, oh my god, yay!
- 37:04Speaker 4: Right off the bat, when he runs into the three,
- 37:06Speaker 4: I think those guys are even billed as fuckers, the
- 37:09Speaker 4: three fuckers in a truck, that he's just, like, brutally
- 37:14Speaker 4: just taking them out, and you're already like, alright, good,
- 37:16Speaker 4: we don't like them, you know, so... You've got that
- 37:19Speaker 4: going on. But then, like, even the random people. Like,
- 37:22Speaker 4: remember the chick in the RV that then, like, falls
- 37:25Speaker 4: out at the end and just starts, like, firing the gun? Like,
- 37:28Speaker 4: the one in the business suit from the cult?
- 37:30Speaker 8: Oh, yeah. This was nuts.
- 37:32Speaker 4: But, I mean, then all of a sudden there's this new, like,
- 37:36Speaker 4: rush of violence. And I was just like, oh.
- 37:39Speaker 8: Oh, that was awesome. All about gratuitous violence.
- 37:43Speaker 14: The good thing about the film, I think, for us
- 37:45Speaker 14: was that we didn't know what it was going to
- 37:47Speaker 14: truly be about.
- 37:48Speaker 4: And we weren't expecting much.
- 37:50Speaker 8: I never expect much.
- 37:51Speaker 4: From a Nicolas Cage movie.
- 37:52Speaker 14: Yeah, we were like, nah, this is going to suck
- 37:53Speaker 14: and we're going to watch it and we're probably going
- 37:54Speaker 14: to be like, eh, whatever. So you go into it
- 37:57Speaker 14: having absolutely no expectations of it whatsoever and then we
- 38:01Speaker 14: thoroughly enjoyed it.
- 38:03Speaker 8: I got grid like a tart the whole time.
- 38:04Speaker 14: Yeah, it's not that it's a specifically awesome movie as
- 38:09Speaker 14: in like, oh, Nicolas Cage is a genius.
- 38:12Speaker 4: Or anything like that. It's just good. Oh, who knows?
- 38:17Speaker 22: Dorky movie reviewer guy from New York Times.
- 38:23Speaker 5: Whatever.
- 38:25Speaker 4: I think he actually does do a decent job for
- 38:28Speaker 4: this kind of movie and for it being Nicolas Cage.
- 38:31Speaker 8: He's just like a parody of himself. Kind of, yeah.
- 38:34Speaker 8: It's almost like he realizes he's a joke and he's
- 38:37Speaker 8: willing to make more of a joke out of it.
- 38:39Speaker 4: A lot of his roles seem like that in the
- 38:40Speaker 4: last ten years. A lot of them.
- 38:42Speaker 8: Seem like he's a joke and he ain't realizing it's
- 38:44Speaker 8: a joke, but I think once he finally realized it
- 38:46Speaker 8: and embraced it.
- 38:49Speaker 4: He finally got the joke. Well, this is also after Kick-Ass,
- 38:53Speaker 4: which he's awesome in Kick-Ass, but he, like, again, it's
- 38:56Speaker 4: a joke the way that he treats that role sometimes.
- 39:00Speaker 4: So it's like, I think he's getting to that point
- 39:03Speaker 4: where he knows how cheesy he can be, and he's
- 39:06Speaker 4: almost using it to his advantage when, at the right time, sometimes.
- 39:10Speaker 8: What'd you call me?
- 39:12Speaker 6: What did you just call me? I called you fat fuck,
- 39:15Speaker 6: and we had better leave it at that. Unless you
- 39:16Speaker 6: prefer I call you dead fat fuck.
- 39:20Speaker 8: What?
- 39:20Speaker 6: I'm looking for someone. Maybe 40 or so.
- 39:25Speaker 7: Six one. Probably looked out of place. He was here earlier.
- 39:34Speaker 6: Traveling light.
- 39:36Speaker 7: Likely on foot.
- 39:39Speaker 8: Who are you? I'm the accountant.
- 39:41Speaker 7: That supposed to mean something to me? It will if
- 39:45Speaker 7: I add you to the books. And if you don't
- 39:47Speaker 7: tell me what I want to know.
- 39:49Speaker 4: I don't know, it's one of those, like, definitely right
- 39:50Speaker 4: off the bat, you can tell what kind of movie
- 39:52Speaker 4: it is, because, like, as soon as he gets out
- 39:55Speaker 4: of the car to go kill the guy, you get the, like,
- 39:58Speaker 4: you get the big guitar riff that, like, you know,
- 40:01Speaker 4: it's just, it's definitely, that's when I was just like, oh, yeah,
- 40:05Speaker 4: they're making this kind of exploitation-y sort of movie. So,
- 40:08Speaker 4: I don't know, it felt like one of those. It
- 40:10Speaker 4: was beyond just, like, a normal action movie kind of score.
- 40:13Speaker 4: It's like, it definitely almost plays on the over-the-top cheesiness
- 40:17Speaker 4: with just, like, the the crazy guitar score going on.
- 40:20Speaker 8: Yeah it was probably ridiculous but it worked you know
- 40:23Speaker 8: it seemed like everything about this movie worked if they
- 40:25Speaker 8: had done anything differently it might have not worked as
- 40:27Speaker 8: well but because it's like everything just pieced together so
- 40:31Speaker 8: perfectly with its retardedness that it was just so ridiculous
- 40:33Speaker 8: that I was just like yeah.
- 40:35Speaker 4: That's why I almost do want to have to give
- 40:37Speaker 4: them credit for I guess just the writer director team
- 40:40Speaker 4: I mean they it's it's a very similar premise and
- 40:44Speaker 4: with the actor I mean it could have been Ghost
- 40:47Speaker 4: Rider yes I mean it's You have to give them
- 40:49Speaker 4: credit for turning it around and making it this much
- 40:51Speaker 4: fun when that one is such a, like, pain to
- 40:54Speaker 4: sit there and watch.
- 40:55Speaker 8: But it took itself more seriously, though, didn't it? I
- 40:58Speaker 8: never saw it, so I don't know.
- 40:59Speaker 4: Yeah, and it's just such a weird.
- 41:02Speaker 12: Well, that's... I mean, they're both a weird premise, but
- 41:05Speaker 12: I don't know.
- 41:06Speaker 4: The way that they handle it in Ghost Rider just
- 41:08Speaker 4: seems kind of awkward, where this one just kind of, like, doesn't.
- 41:12Speaker 8: Bother with any of that.
- 41:13Speaker 12: Like, it's just more explosions, more naked chicks, more.
- 41:17Speaker 4: racing cars and like it doesn't yeah it's like it
- 41:20Speaker 4: doesn't really like worry about most of that stuff it
- 41:23Speaker 4: doesn't try to overdo too much of it it just
- 41:26Speaker 4: seems like it's a it's like a movie that lives
- 41:28Speaker 4: in the moment it's like he's gonna go screw this
- 41:30Speaker 4: girl now now he's gonna go beat the hell out
- 41:32Speaker 4: of this guy now Amber's gonna punch somebody in the
- 41:34Speaker 4: face so I don't know it seems like it lives
- 41:38Speaker 4: the movie like that and it works for some reason
- 41:41Speaker 4: I don't know yeah it's fast paced it doesn't slow
- 41:43Speaker 4: down at any point no It just hits you. Bam, bam, bam, bam, bam.
- 41:47Speaker 4: And then that's the end of the movie.
- 41:48Speaker 17: And you're like, yeah, let's go drive angry.
- 41:52Speaker 8: I wasn't, I was definitely entertained throughout the entire movie.
- 41:55Speaker 8: There was never a point where I was like falling
- 41:56Speaker 8: asleep or like, God, is this movie ever going to end?
- 41:59Speaker 8: This is one of the few movies where I'm like,
- 42:00Speaker 8: you know, I could have used a little bit more
- 42:02Speaker 8: of this movie. I could, I could watch more of this,
- 42:05Speaker 8: you know?
- 42:06Speaker 4: Maybe it's better because they're sort of structuring it off
- 42:09Speaker 4: a better one. And that's the thing that maybe that
- 42:11Speaker 4: it was one of those. I don't think I knew
- 42:12Speaker 4: the full extent. It's what you're saying of, of like
- 42:15Speaker 4: the whole mystical side of it, but they even like
- 42:18Speaker 4: totally out themselves as saying like a lot of it
- 42:21Speaker 4: is the, the basic premise is based on high plains drifter,
- 42:25Speaker 4: which is the Clint Eastwood movie that sort of, then
- 42:28Speaker 4: once you know that you're like, well, yeah, a lot
- 42:30Speaker 4: of this sort of ties in and a lot of
- 42:32Speaker 4: what's going on is, is, you know, pretty basic and
- 42:35Speaker 4: that's also how the like the people handle themselves like
- 42:39Speaker 4: they were talking about how none of it is there
- 42:42Speaker 4: are no good guys really like everybody's kind of horrible you're.
- 42:46Speaker 14: All that one guy that was his buddy that he
- 42:48Speaker 14: borrowed the car from he was pretty good.
- 42:50Speaker 4: He was in the end in the end that you
- 42:52Speaker 4: know he's he's sort of they sort of pass on
- 42:55Speaker 4: the only good that's left in this movie that guy
- 42:58Speaker 4: comes into play so yeah But for the most part, like,
- 43:00Speaker 4: even our main characters, you know, Nicolas Cage isn't a
- 43:02Speaker 4: good guy. Amber, it's, like, pretty terrible. But at the
- 43:06Speaker 4: same time, there's, like, she's got a good heart. So
- 43:09Speaker 4: they sort of base, like, the heart of the movie
- 43:12Speaker 4: around her. But her actions and behavior quite often are
- 43:16Speaker 4: pretty bad.
- 43:17Speaker 8: I question the very ending of the movie. Should we
- 43:19Speaker 8: go ahead and put a double spoiler alert on that?
- 43:20Speaker 10: Double super secret spoiler.
- 43:23Speaker 8: I guess he's dying again for the second time. He's
- 43:26Speaker 8: going to give his baby that he spent this entire
- 43:29Speaker 8: movie saving to Amber Heard's character. I'm like, I'd be pissed.
- 43:33Speaker 8: I'd be like, motherfucker, you're going to leave me with
- 43:34Speaker 8: this goddamn baby. This ain't my baby. What? And he's
- 43:38Speaker 8: just going to give her the end.
- 43:39Speaker 14: But no, by the end of the movie, she's all like,
- 43:42Speaker 14: I'm honored to watch your baby and raise it as
- 43:44Speaker 14: my own, you know, kind of thing.
- 43:47Speaker 8: She's talking kind of like Ted there for a second.
- 43:50Speaker 18: Huh?
- 43:50Speaker 8: Never mind. Whoa, baby. I am honored. I'm honored.
- 43:57Speaker 4: Yeah, where is the Ted taking care of a baby movie?
- 44:00Speaker 12: You think we would have had a.
- 44:01Speaker 4: Nobody wants him.
- 44:01Speaker 12: We would have had a bad Keanu's, I don't know
- 44:04Speaker 12: how to take care of a baby movie.
- 44:05Speaker 15: Why didn't we get that?
- 44:06Speaker 12: I'm not complaining, really.
- 44:08Speaker 8: But seriously, I'm like... Yeah, I guess maybe she's had
- 44:12Speaker 8: a change of heart or whatever, but she's not really
- 44:14Speaker 8: made good decisions up until this point. She's not really
- 44:16Speaker 8: been a good person. She's hot and all.
- 44:18Speaker 4: But she's got the other guy to help guide her.
- 44:21Speaker 4: I think more than that, I think what it is
- 44:23Speaker 4: is she's fucking strong. Like, she is a strong female character.
- 44:28Speaker 4: And she'll be able to protect the baby, which he
- 44:30Speaker 4: won't be able to do. That's what he's, like, almost...
- 44:32Speaker 4: And that's what they're saying. It's like, this is not
- 44:34Speaker 4: only just, like, this... he comes out of hell to
- 44:37Speaker 4: go save the baby. It's like, he comes out of
- 44:39Speaker 4: hell to also find someone to care for this baby
- 44:42Speaker 4: because now, you know, the mom's gone and even if
- 44:45Speaker 4: he saves her, what the hell is going to happen?
- 44:47Speaker 4: So it's almost like the quest along the way is
- 44:49Speaker 4: to find Amber Heard.
- 44:51Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 44:51Speaker 4: It's like to find someone to, to, you know, pass
- 44:54Speaker 4: this baby on to make sure that it is taken
- 44:56Speaker 4: care of. And you find somebody is like strong willed and,
- 45:00Speaker 4: and physically able to kick anyone's ass in the room.
- 45:03Speaker 8: And, She's fucking hardcore.
- 45:05Speaker 4: She's hardcore. So it's like, from that angle, I understand,
- 45:07Speaker 4: especially his kind of character, being the way he is,
- 45:10Speaker 4: he wouldn't want to hand her off to somebody super nice,
- 45:12Speaker 4: mouthy little mom.
- 45:13Speaker 12: It's like, he wants somebody that's going to kick somebody's ass.
- 45:16Speaker 8: And she is.
- 45:17Speaker 4: She certainly is that.
- 45:18Speaker 8: And look good doing it, too.
- 45:21Speaker 12: And I'm pretty sure that bumper sticker on the back
- 45:22Speaker 12: of the car is the same one she has on hers.
- 45:25Speaker 8: What did it say?
- 45:25Speaker 12: I break for pussy.
- 45:26Speaker 8: Oh, yeah. She is classy, if nothing else.
- 45:30Speaker 12: Yeah, I'm pretty sure. So that was awesome.
- 45:32Speaker 8: She is.
- 45:34Speaker 12: Oh, what else? Should we talk about the eye?
- 45:37Speaker 8: The eye.
- 45:39Speaker 4: His eye.
- 45:39Speaker 8: Oh, yeah.
- 45:40Speaker 4: That whole part of it.
- 45:41Speaker 8: He got shot. Oh, yeah.
- 45:43Speaker 12: I know.
- 45:43Speaker 8: That's fucked up.
- 45:44Speaker 10: That was crazy.
- 45:45Speaker 4: It's another one you don't necessarily see coming.
- 45:47Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 45:47Speaker 8: I think it's when I finally realize that he's already dead.
- 45:49Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 45:50Speaker 8: It's when they shoot him and he gets back. How
- 45:52Speaker 8: the fuck did he.
- 45:52Speaker 18: Get back up?
- 45:53Speaker 4: What, do you have a glass eye? No, he's got
- 45:55Speaker 4: a fucking hole in his head.
- 45:56Speaker 8: What the fuck? That's when I finally clicked on it.
- 45:59Speaker 8: I guess I'm slow on the uptake. I was like, oh,
- 46:01Speaker 8: he's fucking dead already. That's why I thought, okay, I
- 46:03Speaker 8: got it. I didn't put too much thought into the
- 46:05Speaker 8: whole beginning with the hell scene and everything, I guess.
- 46:07Speaker 8: I just thought maybe it's going to be a hell.
- 46:09Speaker 8: It's going to be a hellish good time. But yeah,
- 46:11Speaker 8: I didn't put that much thought into it, I guess.
- 46:13Speaker 8: I didn't realize it until.
- 46:14Speaker 4: He did get shot in the gut before that, too.
- 46:17Speaker 8: But still, you can, you know, get shot.
- 46:18Speaker 4: It takes a couple days to bleed to death that way. Exactly.
- 46:20Speaker 8: If you got shot in the fucking head, in the
- 46:22Speaker 8: eye socket, in orbital regions.
- 46:24Speaker 10: And then, like, he toted it around.
- 46:26Speaker 4: It was like that for, like, 20 minutes in the
- 46:27Speaker 4: middle of the movie, where he's got a messed up eye,
- 46:29Speaker 4: and then she's got, like, it covered up, and then
- 46:31Speaker 4: eventually it sort of crow fixes itself. That was the
- 46:34Speaker 4: other one I was thinking it had a similar tie
- 46:36Speaker 4: to this coming back to avenge the wrongs, you know, from...
- 46:40Speaker 4: the nether regions yeah i got a very crow vibe
- 46:43Speaker 4: off of it too certainly a very different tone overall but.
- 46:47Speaker 15: Just kind of the basic basic goings-on i have to
- 46:50Speaker 15: put more thought into it you know what the guy's
- 46:52Speaker 15: name was it was john milton yeah do you know
- 46:55Speaker 15: what john milton no nobody wrote paradise lost which was
- 47:00Speaker 15: satan getting expelled.
- 47:01Speaker 8: From heaven and how hell was formed and all that
- 47:05Speaker 8: stuff and the book I just bought remember I did
- 47:08Speaker 8: research yeah well I didn't read it me neither but
- 47:10Speaker 8: I know things but apparently I know it's got pictures
- 47:13Speaker 8: so it's okay though but yeah John Milton wrote Paradise
- 47:15Speaker 8: Lost which is you know about Satan getting expelled and
- 47:18Speaker 8: all that stuff so that's kind of why I don't
- 47:22Speaker 8: know again.
- 47:22Speaker 4: They're kind of stealing from better projects to put together
- 47:25Speaker 4: this silly action movie which makes it a better project
- 47:28Speaker 4: in the end I think it's like.
- 47:29Speaker 8: The connection with the name and everything I don't think
- 47:31Speaker 8: I realized it at the time but I later looked
- 47:34Speaker 8: into it because I'm a geek so whatever Why.
- 47:37Speaker 5: Do we have two dead Colorado troopers within our great
- 47:40Speaker 5: state of Oklahoma?
- 47:43Speaker 9: And how did these.
- 47:45Speaker 4: Gentlemen come to be on the wrong end of a disagreement?
- 47:50Speaker 4: The guests in this room, John Milton, I take it
- 47:52Speaker 4: he is not among the departed?
- 47:54Speaker 18: No, sir.
- 47:55Speaker 8: We got a live one.
- 47:57Speaker 4: Want roadblocks, Sarge? All over the state, you know the drill.
- 48:00Speaker 12: You got your boy Tom Adkins.
- 48:03Speaker 8: Tom Adkins.
- 48:04Speaker 1: Yes, he is.
- 48:05Speaker 8: Yeah. He was a police officer. Yeah. What was the
- 48:08Speaker 8: movie that we were bitching about the towel? Or the blanket?
- 48:11Speaker 4: Oh, the Halloween 3?
- 48:13Speaker 8: Halloween 3?
- 48:14Speaker 4: Oh, yeah, yeah, okay, yeah.
- 48:15Speaker 8: We were somewhere bitching, and I was somewhere, and I
- 48:17Speaker 8: was like, you know that.
- 48:18Speaker 4: I said something about drying off with a blanket. I said,
- 48:20Speaker 4: they got monkey blankets, and you're like, it's a towel.
- 48:22Speaker 4: And I was like, a towel, blanket, same thing.
- 48:24Speaker 8: And you're like, no, it's not!
- 48:25Speaker 4: You don't dry off with a blanket unless you're that
- 48:27Speaker 4: dumb bitch in Halloween.
- 48:28Speaker 8: And I can't remember the name of the movie. I
- 48:30Speaker 8: was like, that one dumb bitch in that one movie. Oh,
- 48:33Speaker 8: I can't remember what it is!
- 48:34Speaker 7: Yeah, I was like, ooh, okay.
- 48:35Speaker 8: I was bitching at Target, and I was walking through Target,
- 48:37Speaker 8: and I was mad.
- 48:39Speaker 10: Oh, I don't know. I think, I mean, it is.
- 48:42Speaker 4: ridiculous and over the top and the way that you
- 48:44Speaker 4: know that is i think the quote they said from
- 48:46Speaker 4: nicholas cage when he read it was i've never read
- 48:48Speaker 4: anything so.
- 48:49Speaker 24: Crazy like when you've got nicholas cage saying i mean
- 48:53Speaker 24: his world is nothing but all kinds of crazy so
- 48:55Speaker 24: yeah that's how you know it's it's sort of and
- 48:58Speaker 24: it lives up to that i'll tell you that right
- 49:00Speaker 24: now yeah and and in a way that you're not
- 49:02Speaker 24: expecting because they didn't bill it that way in the
- 49:04Speaker 24: trailers and stuff definitely.
- 49:05Speaker 8: Recommend this movie i give it two thumbs up if
- 49:07Speaker 8: i had more thumbs i would give it those thumbs too.
- 49:09Speaker 12: Two extra severed thumbs up from people that get their
- 49:11Speaker 12: hands blown.
- 49:12Speaker 8: Off in this movie dude totally.
- 49:15Speaker 12: All right.
- 49:15Speaker 4: Well, I think that is quite a plug for Drive Angry.
- 49:19Speaker 19: See it?
- 49:20Speaker 8: It's awesome.
- 49:21Speaker 4: Big dumps, blows some fun. So if you're looking for that, hey,
- 49:25Speaker 4: check it out. And Amber Heard's hot.
- 49:27Speaker 8: Yes, she is.
- 49:29Speaker 12: All right. We will take a break and be back
- 49:30Speaker 12: with the rest of the show.
- 49:32Speaker 13: Between now and then, I'm going to fuck you up.
- 49:40Speaker 13: Suckin' all my titties like you wanted me Callin' me
- 49:43Speaker 13: all the time like Blondie Check out my Chrissy behind
- 49:46Speaker 13: his spine all of the time Like.
- 49:48Speaker 1: Sex on the beaches What else is in the teachers
- 49:51Speaker 1: of peaches?
- 49:53Speaker 4: Huh, what?
- 50:02Speaker 12: Sucking on my titties like you wanted me.
- 50:04Speaker 1: Calling me all the time, not Bondi.
- 50:06Speaker 8: Check out my Chrissy behind. It's fine, I love the tongue.
- 50:10Speaker 8: What else is in the teachers of peaches? Like sex
- 50:13Speaker 8: on the beaches.
- 50:15Speaker 11: What?
- 50:18Speaker 12: Right.
- 50:20Speaker 4: What?
- 50:26Speaker 11: What?
- 50:27Speaker 18: Right.
- 50:31Speaker 5: What's up?
- 50:32Speaker 3: It's Brian again. Just here to tell you it's coming
- 50:36Speaker 3: up on one of our favorite times of year here

- 50:47Speaker 3: Film Fest.
- 50:47Speaker 4: But not only that. This year also kicks off Fandom Fest,
- 51:04Speaker 4: an entire second convention of geek and pop culture. But wait,
- 51:08Speaker 4: you get both awesome shows for the same low price.
- 51:12Speaker 4: Now this is no longer just a convention that caters
- 51:14Speaker 4: to horror geeks, but it crosses over into a whole
- 51:17Speaker 4: new realm where fantasy and sci-fi lovers, as well as
- 51:20Speaker 4: comic book collectors, general film lovers, can hang out with gamers, authors,
- 51:25Speaker 4: and artists of all types. It's like Geek Valhalla, only
- 51:28Speaker 4: you don't have to die to get there. You just
- 51:30Speaker 4: have to get your tickets now. Now the main guest,
- 51:34Speaker 4: the legend himself, director John Carpenter.
- 51:39Speaker 9: Amazing.
- 51:40Speaker 4: One of the most influential directors of our time. Not
- 51:44Speaker 4: only that, this list of guests goes on. We've got
- 51:47Speaker 4: the Fonz himself, Henry Winkler. That is so awesome. Also
- 51:52Speaker 4: Margot Kidder, Tiffany Shephus, Larry Drake, Jeremy Bullock, Tony Moore

- 52:15Speaker 4: ladies and gentlemen, will be there. There's so many others.
- 52:19Speaker 4: I mean, the stars of American Graffiti, Jaws, Phantasm, so
- 52:23Speaker 4: many other stars. You'll just have to go look at
- 52:25Speaker 4: the list. It's ridiculous how many stars are there. Plus, again,
- 52:28Speaker 4: we cross over into all the other activities that are
- 52:31Speaker 4: added this year. You've got literary guests and gaming guests
- 52:35Speaker 4: and artists. There'll be seminars and workshops going on, movies

- 52:51Speaker 4: impressive thing? And it's all going on July 22nd through
- 52:54Speaker 4: the 24th in Louisville, Kentucky. So get your tickets now.
- 52:57Speaker 4: You can go to FrightNightFilmFest.com or the site for the
- 53:00Speaker 4: new convention, Fandom Fest. That's F-A-N-D-O-M-F-E-S-T dot com. It's going
- 53:06Speaker 4: to be one hell of a weekend. The Fright Night
- 53:08Speaker 4: Film Fest is my favorite film festival.
- 53:11Speaker 8: Hands down.
- 53:45Speaker 19: So what else can we do?
- 54:12Speaker 10: Sat in the hallway.
- 54:13Speaker 4: For a while.
- 54:14Speaker 8: I sat in the hallway for a good long while.
- 54:16Speaker 10: I was napping there for a while.
- 54:17Speaker 8: You totally fell asleep.
- 54:19Speaker 4: I was tired. I got up really early. Preparing for
- 54:23Speaker 4: our kick-ass show.
- 54:25Speaker 8: Corey got his picture taken.
- 54:26Speaker 10: That's true.
- 54:27Speaker 8: By somebody who is apparently of international status.
- 54:31Speaker 14: He was British, and I knew this because he had
- 54:32Speaker 14: a British accent, and his phone had a British flag
- 54:35Speaker 14: on it.
- 54:36Speaker 10: What did he sound like?
- 54:37Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 54:38Speaker 11: Nope.
- 54:39Speaker 8: Damn it.
- 54:39Speaker 10: I was hoping for more accents.
- 54:41Speaker 8: He's blushing. He's embarrassed now.
- 54:43Speaker 4: I can't do accent when you put me on a
- 54:45Speaker 4: spot like that. You can't force it. It just comes out.
- 54:48Speaker 4: But yeah, what was his comment?
- 54:52Speaker 10: It was.
- 54:53Speaker 8: Unique?
- 54:54Speaker 10: Is it unique?
- 54:55Speaker 4: I thought he said it was brilliant.
- 54:57Speaker 10: I was going to say, let's make it extra British.
- 55:00Speaker 10: Bloody brilliant.
- 55:01Speaker 4: I don't think he said that, but you know, we'll
- 55:03Speaker 4: British it up a little bit.
- 55:05Speaker 8: I thought he said it was unique because I said, yeah,
- 55:06Speaker 8: I've never seen anybody else with a quarry that new.
- 55:08Speaker 4: He didn't seem really, like, he kept saying, like, three
- 55:11Speaker 4: or four times, he kept going, no, this is, you know,
- 55:13Speaker 4: this is really great.
- 55:13Speaker 10: Like, he was, like, really taken with it.
- 55:15Speaker 4: I was like, wow, alright, this guy's all about some Corey.
- 55:18Speaker 8: Corey's flattered.
- 55:20Speaker 10: He should be.
- 55:22Speaker 4: I think I saw some other people ID it from behind.
- 55:24Speaker 8: I did too.
- 55:25Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 55:25Speaker 8: Like, the people that were sitting next to us. The
- 55:27Speaker 8: ones that were also making fun of the girl who
- 55:29Speaker 8: almost fell out of her top. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 55:32Speaker 4: I think that I did.
- 55:33Speaker 8: And then when we were standing there, I was standing
- 55:34Speaker 8: there with you, I heard the girl next to me
- 55:36Speaker 8: with the face stuff.
- 55:37Speaker 4: Yeah, I think that was the one I was... Face stuff?
- 55:41Speaker 8: She had like, she had like, it was made to
- 55:43Speaker 8: look like scars across her mouth.
- 55:45Speaker 13: Oh.
- 55:46Speaker 10: Stitches.
- 55:46Speaker 4: Oh, I don't know. There were several of those girls there.
- 55:48Speaker 4: I don't know why that was the big thing.
- 55:49Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 55:51Speaker 4: We had some costumes.
- 55:53Speaker 8: We personally didn't have any costumes.
- 55:54Speaker 10: Well, we didn't because we're, well, we're professional, you know,
- 55:57Speaker 10: we're busy.
- 55:57Speaker 8: Yeah. Fat Ash was there again.
- 56:02Speaker 4: Oh, I don't remember if we went into him from
- 56:04Speaker 4: the last.
- 56:04Speaker 8: I thought we did. I'm sure we did. I thought
- 56:05Speaker 8: we did on the way home or something.
- 56:07Speaker 4: We probably did.
- 56:08Speaker 10: It sounds like our harsh comment.
- 56:11Speaker 8: That was the funniest thing I think I've ever said.
- 56:13Speaker 8: It made me laugh so hard.
- 56:15Speaker 10: And then I saw him standing in line and I
- 56:17Speaker 10: was like.
- 56:19Speaker 4: Yeah, it was pretty awesome.
- 56:21Speaker 8: Hopefully he doesn't listen in case you do. It's not you,
- 56:23Speaker 8: it's the other guy.
- 56:25Speaker 10: Yeah, it's that other Ash.
- 56:26Speaker 11: Duh.
- 56:26Speaker 4: It doesn't, yeah, really at those shows you don't have
- 56:29Speaker 4: to narrow it down. There's all kinds of Ash.
- 56:31Speaker 10: Dude, I've scored so much Ash.
- 56:32Speaker 8: Sweet, sweet.
- 56:36Speaker 11: Lips.
- 56:36Speaker 19: The taste of you tonight.
- 57:06Speaker 7: Don't be shy. We'd like to hear from you. So
- 57:08Speaker 7: give us a call at 502-365-5565. Or you can email
- 57:13Speaker 7: us at geeksatmoviemeltdown.com. And just stop by the website for
- 57:17Speaker 7: our frequent updates. That's moviemeltdown.com.
- 57:21Speaker 9: We're here with PJ Souls.
- 57:24Speaker 8: I guess, how.
- 57:29Speaker 18: Did you.
- 57:51Speaker 4: Initially get into this, I guess you had sort of
- 57:53Speaker 4: a different upbringing than a lot of actors.
- 57:56Speaker 12: Was it Germany you were born?
- 57:58Speaker 1: Yep, I was born in Frankfurt, Germany. Long time ago.
- 58:03Speaker 1: And then since my dad was from Poland, he spoke
- 58:05Speaker 1: a lot of languages. So he got this job with
- 58:08Speaker 1: an insurance company and they moved us to Morocco, to Casablanca.
- 58:12Speaker 12: It was awesome.
- 58:13Speaker 1: And then Maracaibo, Venezuela. And then I went to high
- 58:15Speaker 1: school in Brussels. Belgium all throughout my whole childhood I
- 58:18Speaker 1: always was in the school plays and everything but I
- 58:20Speaker 1: never thought it was something you could do for a
- 58:22Speaker 1: living so I went to college in Briarcliff College and
- 58:26Speaker 1: my roommate happened to be from Manhattan so on the
- 58:28Speaker 1: weekends I would come in with her and it was
- 58:30Speaker 1: then being in America finally that I realized oh people
- 58:34Speaker 1: act and they actually get jobs so that summer my
- 58:36Speaker 1: parents moved to Istanbul Turkey I was left alone in
- 58:40Speaker 1: the city with my friend Lorraine and I happened to
- 58:42Speaker 1: walk by the actor's studio didn't know anything about it
- 58:45Speaker 1: but There was a sign posted in there, we'll exchange
- 58:48Speaker 1: acting classes for running the spotlight during our summer production.
- 58:52Speaker 1: So I applied, got the job, ran the spotlight on
- 58:54Speaker 1: Joanna Miles and Scott Glenn on the Seagull production. And
- 58:59Speaker 1: there started sort of my initiation into hanging out with actors.
- 59:04Speaker 1: And then one of the people that came to see
- 59:06Speaker 1: the show, his name was Joshua White. His sister was
- 59:08Speaker 1: an actress. He had seen me. met me asked me
- 59:11Speaker 1: out we started dating and then he said I'll introduce
- 59:13Speaker 1: you to my sister's agent Lester Lewis I met them
- 59:16Speaker 1: they loved me they sent me out and the first
- 59:18Speaker 1: week I got like three commercials so that's how it started.
- 59:22Speaker 12: It all comes into play are you still fluent in
- 59:25Speaker 12: the other languages Yes.
- 59:27Speaker 1: I speak Spanish really well since I was 8 to 14,
- 59:31Speaker 1: so six years in Venezuela. So it just never left me.
- 59:34Speaker 1: And French, I can understand it and write it and
- 59:37Speaker 1: speak it, but I wouldn't say I'm fluent. And in college,
- 59:40Speaker 1: I was a Russian major, but I kind of totally
- 59:43Speaker 1: lost that.
- 59:47Speaker 12: And then I guess crossing over, how did you get
- 59:50Speaker 12: involved with Gary?
- 59:52Speaker 1: Involved with Gary Busey?
- 59:53Speaker 12: Uh, Cary.
- 59:54Speaker 4: Oh, Cary.
- 59:55Speaker 1: I thought you said Gary Busey. I'm like, I didn't
- 59:56Speaker 1: get involved with Gary Busey.
- 59:58Speaker 12: Digging up some real stories.
- 59:59Speaker 8: I knew him.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: Okay. Um, well, Cary, I had, uh, like I said,
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: I was living in New York and I had my
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: first boyfriend. Then I met a musician, Stephen Souls. We
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: got married, but then ended up getting divorced. And I
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: decided that Broadway, off Broadway, I, it wasn't really my scene.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: I couldn't, I didn't really want to drink. I didn't
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: stay up late. I was always tired at night. So,
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Everyone said, well, you'd be good for the movies. You
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: have to, like, get up at 5. So I was like, okay,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: I'm going to go to L.A., and I did. And
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: within two weeks of getting there, my agent sent me
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: up for the joint casting session that George Lucas and
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: Brian De Palma had. George casting Star Wars, obviously, Brian, Carrie.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: And when I walked in, after waiting, like, a couple
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: hours with all the other teenagers in town, he said
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: to George, I'm going to put her on my list,
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: and George went, fine, so. I had three more subsequent
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: auditions and a screen test and then ended up... I
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: tested for actually the part that Nancy Allen got. So
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: John Travolta and I were studying for our screen test,
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: which we did together, but Nancy got that part. But
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: Brian liked me so much, he sort of expanded the
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: role of Norma because in the script she only had
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: that opening scene with the volleyball game where I hit
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: her on the head with my hat, which I did,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: and that's what he used to keep me in the
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: rest of the movie. He liked it so much.
- 1:01:15Speaker 23: Wow.
- 1:01:16Speaker 12: The title character is such a heavy role. Do you
- 1:01:20Speaker 12: think at that point you could have pulled that off?
- 1:01:22Speaker 12: Could you have done the Sissy Spacer role at the time?
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: Well, Sissy and I kind of had parallel careers. She
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: had been in New York at the same time that
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: I was. I knew Bobby Bloom, who was her boyfriend.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: He's the writer and singer of Montego Bay, which was
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: a hit song, but he subsequently got killed when he
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: moved out to L.A. with some terrible accident or whatever,
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: but she was pursuing a singing songwriting career in New
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: York not an acting career and she also moved down
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: to LA about the same time I did so she
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: had done a couple of other movies before I had
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: and I just thought I didn't have that look and
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: I just didn't have I don't think I really could
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: have played Carrie you know and yes you know really
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: to be totally honest no I didn't I didn't particularly
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: have exactly what would have been required for that role.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: I had the energy and the spunk that was more
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: suited to Norma.
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: Yeah, definitely.
- 1:02:17Speaker 12: And it came to play a lot better in other roles. Right.
- 1:02:21Speaker 12: I guess Halloween, how was it working with John Carpenter.
- 1:02:24Speaker 4: That early on?
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: Well, that was great, and one of the great things
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: about that casting audition was that John right away told
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: me I had the part, which is highly unusual, so.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: And then he said, can you stay and help pick
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: out your boyfriend? So there were three guys that were auditioning.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: I said, well, I like that guy. And he had
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: the glasses and everything. So that worked out good.
- 1:02:48Speaker 12: I want to stand. Is it the totally line? Is
- 1:02:53Speaker 12: that actually part of what got you that job?
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: You know what? I say that, and I recently reconnected
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: with John Carpenter. I saw him at a Spooky Empire
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: convention in Orlando, and he asked for my email, and
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: then he emailed me and asked me to lunch. And
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: at that lunch, he goes, you know, I just want
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: to tell you, you didn't get the part because of
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: the way you said totally.
- 1:03:12Speaker 8: I said, really?
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: He said, no, you were just so damn cute. And
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: you were perfect for the part of Linda. I said,
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: it had nothing to do with the way you read totally.
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: I said, oh, God, I'm totally confused all these years.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: So I stand corrected. It was because I was so
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: damn cute.
- 1:03:28Speaker 12: Some legitimate reasons right there.
- 1:03:30Speaker 4: And then I guess what was your death scene like
- 1:03:33Speaker 4: in that one, shooting.
- 1:03:35Speaker 7: Of the scene?
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: The death scene?
- 1:03:36Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: Well, the death scene was actually hysterical because I kept laughing.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: Nick Castle was the guy under the sheet at that
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: point because everybody took turns, whoever was available and free
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: at the moment when we were shooting a scene. And
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: he just was so gentle and afraid to hurt me.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: And I just kept laughing because I was like, John,
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: I can't die with his eyes. He's not even pulling
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: it on my neck. I can't even feel it. So
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: I was like, Nick, please, can you just do it
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: a little harder? And so finally, I think he, you know,
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: he just did it not even that hard. And I
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: had to totally pretend. But I do remember also with
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: my gasp. And if you look at the, you know,
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know how many people watch it
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: that closely, but I go, I mean, for the longest time,
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: even when I'm out of frame, because I'm like, I'm
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: not having a meow cut until, this is my swan song,
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: and I'm going to have as much screen time as possible.
- 1:04:27Speaker 8: I am dying.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: As I extended the, I refuse to die.
- 1:04:32Speaker 11: Nice.
- 1:04:35Speaker 12: Were there any new projects you wanted to tell people about?
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: Well, I'm trying to write my autobiography. It's going to
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: be called The Totally Girl, I hope. I mean, everybody's
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: writing a book now, but I guess I've always wanted
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: to talk a lot about my childhood, which is very
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: different than a lot of people's because I grew up
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: around the world in all these foreign countries, and my
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: family was really my core. I mean, I didn't have
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: best friends. I don't have a small hometown that I
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: can go home to. I grew up on four different continents.
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: you know, and I ended up playing the ultimate American
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: teenager and I was the farthest thing from it. So
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: I've always kind of thought that was kind of cool.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: And then just, you know, how I sort of fell
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: into the acting business. So, but very hard to sit
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: down every day and write about yourself. It seems very indulgent.
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: So that's the problem I'm having, but I am working
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: on that. And then I go to conventions and a
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: while back, I did meet a young fan in Chicago
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: at the flashback weekend and his name's Matt Russell and
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: He just really, you know, inspired, I inspired him to
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: really get on the track of pursuing his dreams and goals,
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: and he was in high school at the time. He
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: went to Columbia College Film School, and then he came
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: out to L.A. He's a screener now. He reads scripts,
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: and he's working on a short film called The Show
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: that was a magazine short story, and he's developed, he
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: adopted it into a screenplay, and he's paid for the
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: rights to turn it into a short film, and so
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: I'm going to be in that project, and That's on kickstarter.com,
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: which is the newest place to go to invest in
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: young filmmakers' projects. So I hope we get to do it,
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: and I have a lot of faith in him. And
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: my daughter is an aspiring musician. She's with her boyfriend
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: in a group called Joe Nash for John and Ashley,
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: and their CD is almost done, so I'm going to
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: be cheerleading them. And I'm a lyricist as well. My
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: boyfriend and I write country songs. So we've got a
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: lot going on because, I don't know, it's hard to
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: get movie roles as... Mom.
- 1:06:33Speaker 12: Yeah, that changed midway in.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: Yeah, no longer the ingenue.
- 1:06:39Speaker 12: Was that an adjustment, I guess?
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: Well, it was a slow happening because, you know, once
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: you have kids, you're adjusting anyway.
- 1:06:46Speaker 12: You don't have as much.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: chance or time to do those go away for three
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: months on location anymore so you got to turn down
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: a lot of stuff but it was okay because my
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: kids are great i love them and i wouldn't trade
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: them for any movie project in the world so.
- 1:07:01Speaker 12: And do you want to tell people to go to
- 1:07:02Speaker 12: your website or.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: Well my website just usually you know says what i'm
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: doing next it's not a big deal i don't sell
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: anything on it but one of these days i will
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: get a facebook the official pj souls facebook page there
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: are three websites, three Facebook pages, but they're not me.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: So everybody's always like, oh, you didn't write me back.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: I go, it's not me. But they're fun. They're nice
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: to look at. I mean, it's like an honor for
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: people to have made a Facebook page on my behalf.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: But one of these days, you know, in the beginning
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: it was my daughter saying, mom, you can't be on Facebook.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: It's not for, you know, old people. I'm like, thank you.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: But now it's like for everybody. So I can go
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: there now.
- 1:07:42Speaker 12: Thank you very much for talking with me.
- 1:07:46Speaker 11: Here we are, burning up in our cars. And in
- 1:07:47Speaker 11: our hearts, better days. Sleeping late with a headache. Perfect weather, congregate.
- 1:08:08Speaker 3: The crowds are thinning out at the snack bar, folks,
- 1:08:10Speaker 3: and there are still three minutes till showtime. You can
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: easily make it for something that'll just hit the spot.
- 1:08:16Speaker 8: How about it?
- 1:08:17Speaker 3: Don't waste a second of refreshment time.
- 1:08:22Speaker 25: Oh, hi, everybody. It's me, Tommy Wiseau from The Room.
- 1:08:25Speaker 25: And me, Nicholas Cage from Ghost Rider. And we're here
- 1:08:28Speaker 25: to talk to you about something very important. Isn't that right, Nicholas?
- 1:08:31Speaker 8: Oh, that's right. Bill and Chris have been.
- 1:08:32Speaker 25: Telling you about OTC Live for a long time. But
- 1:08:34Speaker 25: there's no better time than now to join into the

- 1:08:41Speaker 25: Eastern Standard Time, you can see the show live. And

- 1:08:51Speaker 25: else that revolves around pop culture. Plus, they answer very
- 1:08:54Speaker 25: important questions.
- 1:08:55Speaker 20: Like, how is your sex life?
- 1:08:57Speaker 25: And other important questions such as, how to get burned.
- 1:09:00Speaker 25: So check in every Sunday night at 6 p.m. at www.tv.outsidethecinema.com.
- 1:09:11Speaker 5: It's part of your problem, you know.
- 1:09:12Speaker 4: You haven't seen enough movies. All of life's riddles are
- 1:09:14Speaker 4: answered in the movies.
- 1:09:16Speaker 5: And now, on with the show.
- 1:09:43Speaker 16: Ride with the devil Hide with the law I got.
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: No pistols Ain't got no sword.
- 1:09:52Speaker 4: I got no army.
- 1:09:54Speaker 9: Ain't got no land.
- 1:09:57Speaker 25: Ain't got nothing but the stone that's in my hand.
- 1:10:00Speaker 8: Talk about the convention itself, the goings-ons, the.
- 1:10:06Speaker 14: Lack of power, lack of AC, sweaty celebrities.
- 1:10:10Speaker 4: Yeah. Well, one room in particular got mighty toasty, but
- 1:10:15Speaker 4: the rest of them are actually pretty cool. And then
- 1:10:18Speaker 4: one of the, I was talking to one of the
- 1:10:20Speaker 4: the actors there they said their reason that they told
- 1:10:22Speaker 4: them was they can't turn the ac up in this
- 1:10:25Speaker 4: room anymore it makes the other rooms too cold i'm
- 1:10:28Speaker 4: like well fuck those guys turn it up anyway.
- 1:10:31Speaker 14: Yeah it's kind of funny how the vendors had lights
- 1:10:34Speaker 14: and they had ac but then the uh the actors
- 1:10:37Speaker 14: got screwed out all that stuff.
- 1:10:39Speaker 8: They didn't even have lights for a while.
- 1:10:41Speaker 4: I never even figured out what was going on with
- 1:10:42Speaker 4: the lights. They would just, like, every once in a while.
- 1:10:44Speaker 8: Go, boom.
- 1:10:45Speaker 14: Well, I'm assuming that everybody was running the AC, and
- 1:10:48Speaker 14: the AC was running so hard that it was really taxing.
- 1:10:50Speaker 4: Their electrical system. But I've never seen it shut down
- 1:10:52Speaker 4: lights like that. Like, I've seen it, like, throw a breaker. Like,
- 1:10:56Speaker 4: at your house, that's what it does. I don't know
- 1:10:57Speaker 4: what it does on, like, industrial-sized hotels. Yeah, I don't know. Yeah,
- 1:11:01Speaker 4: I don't know why, but just kind of like... It's
- 1:11:03Speaker 4: like some weird power surge. Somebody put it on the
- 1:11:05Speaker 4: dimmer switch all of a sudden, and then you're standing
- 1:11:07Speaker 4: in the dark, and Bill Moseley really did throw a
- 1:11:09Speaker 4: cookie in your hand or something.
- 1:11:11Speaker 10: Very strange.
- 1:11:12Speaker 8: We were in the Freddy Museum when that happened. I
- 1:11:14Speaker 8: was afraid Freddy.
- 1:11:15Speaker 4: Was going to come get me.
- 1:11:16Speaker 23: Maybe.
- 1:11:18Speaker 4: There were, what, six, eight gloves in there at least. Dude, seriously.
- 1:11:21Speaker 4: I'm not worried about them. Because they were badly welded.
- 1:11:24Speaker 4: Badly welded.
- 1:11:26Speaker 10: It's going to break that blade off in your gut.
- 1:11:28Speaker 11: Really? Yeah, whatever.
- 1:11:31Speaker 4: I'm sorry, it's my job, so, you know.
- 1:11:34Speaker 8: Yeah, you know, they're criticizing the welds as we walk through.
- 1:11:37Speaker 4: That Kruger, fucking hack. Whatever, amateur.
- 1:11:43Speaker 8: Yeah, for a first-time convention, they did have, you know,
- 1:11:45Speaker 8: quite a good run of people.
- 1:11:47Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:11:47Speaker 8: I'm still kind of iffy on the setup. It was
- 1:11:50Speaker 8: set up kind of weird.
- 1:11:51Speaker 4: I've seen other ones that kind of fall into that category.
- 1:11:54Speaker 12: It's just.
- 1:11:55Speaker 4: I don't know. It's just different ways to do it.
- 1:11:57Speaker 4: I still don't know that there's a perfect system that
- 1:11:59Speaker 4: I've seen. They're all very different, and they all have
- 1:12:02Speaker 4: their own problems, and.
- 1:12:03Speaker 10: Yeah, so that's... I don't know. I don't know what
- 1:12:05Speaker 10: you can do. Just cramming that many.
- 1:12:08Speaker 4: People into one space is going to lead to a
- 1:12:09Speaker 4: lot of problems.
- 1:12:10Speaker 8: Well, it's leading to me to want to punch a
- 1:12:12Speaker 8: bunch of people in their fucking faces.
- 1:12:14Speaker 4: People just walk. When there's other people behind you, just
- 1:12:16Speaker 4: keep walking.
- 1:12:17Speaker 8: Or people that walk... But they look behind them when
- 1:12:20Speaker 8: they walk.
- 1:12:21Speaker 4: Maybe they're talking on the phone.
- 1:12:22Speaker 8: Yeah, so they're walking with no fucking clue as to
- 1:12:24Speaker 8: where they're going. I fucking snagged with this one guy.
- 1:12:27Speaker 8: I'm like, watch where you're fucking going. Like, this is
- 1:12:30Speaker 8: my first time at a show. I'm like, that's no
- 1:12:31Speaker 8: fucking excuse. That's some common sense.
- 1:12:33Speaker 4: You've never walked before either? Yeah, they're like.
- 1:12:36Speaker 8: Oh, wow. But, yeah, people there were, I mean, the people,
- 1:12:40Speaker 8: I mean, the staff was nice. They were, you know,
- 1:12:43Speaker 8: except for that one lady who wanted to kill us
- 1:12:44Speaker 8: at the end of the show.
- 1:12:45Speaker 10: It's because we wouldn't get out.
- 1:12:46Speaker 4: I know.
- 1:12:47Speaker 8: But, I mean, the people there were kind of jackass-y,
- 1:12:50Speaker 8: you know, like the, I don't want to say the fans.
- 1:12:53Speaker 4: People like us, you know.
- 1:12:55Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:12:55Speaker 8: They just, I don't know, they just, I don't know.
- 1:12:57Speaker 8: Maybe because it's so hot outside, people were just kind
- 1:12:59Speaker 8: of testy. I don't know. It was kind of cramped
- 1:13:01Speaker 8: in some spots.
- 1:13:03Speaker 14: I didn't really run into any jackass-y people.
- 1:13:06Speaker 8: Because I was walking in front of you. I was
- 1:13:08Speaker 8: what I'm running into. Yeah, I guess.
- 1:13:09Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:13:10Speaker 14: Oh, there were times when I was going out walking
- 1:13:12Speaker 14: around by myself. I didn't run into anybody that was
- 1:13:14Speaker 14: really jackass-y.
- 1:13:16Speaker 10: So, you know. Everybody seemed okay. I mean, it's like
- 1:13:21Speaker 10: any convention, really.
- 1:13:23Speaker 8: I did almost get shoulder checked by Tom Sizemore.
- 1:13:26Speaker 4: He's crazy. He'd go off late.
- 1:13:27Speaker 8: Seriously, I almost walked him close and he was like
- 1:13:30Speaker 8: right next to me. So it's like his shirt touched me,
- 1:13:32Speaker 8: which I don't like people's shirts touching me and creeped out.
- 1:13:34Speaker 8: His shirt's like touched me and I'm just like.
- 1:13:36Speaker 4: Ah, but yeah. It's a famous shirt's late.
- 1:13:40Speaker 8: Yeah, I guess it was okay then. Should we talk
- 1:13:42Speaker 8: about any of our celebrity encounters or talk about celebrities
- 1:13:46Speaker 8: that you didn't actually interview?
- 1:13:48Speaker 4: It depends.
- 1:13:49Speaker 10: If we don't like him, sure, go for it.
- 1:13:50Speaker 8: We can talk about Jake Busey for a second, because
- 1:13:52Speaker 8: he was a lot more handsome in person than I
- 1:13:54Speaker 8: had anticipated, and he was taller than I thought. And
- 1:13:57Speaker 8: he was in the hot room, so he ended up
- 1:13:58Speaker 8: taking his shirt off. He was just wearing a wife beater.
- 1:14:00Speaker 16: Uh-huh.
- 1:14:01Speaker 11: Uh-huh.
- 1:14:02Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:14:03Speaker 4: Jake seems pretty cool, and we know him indirectly through
- 1:14:07Speaker 4: somebody else. I even attempted to get him to sit
- 1:14:12Speaker 4: down and talk about stuff this weekend, but I think...
- 1:14:15Speaker 4: I wasn't sure if he would have the patience to
- 1:14:17Speaker 4: sit there and do it. The person that knows him
- 1:14:20Speaker 4: kind of seconded that. They're like, yeah.
- 1:14:21Speaker 10: I don't know if that'd be his thing.
- 1:14:24Speaker 8: You're not a hot chick, so I don't think he
- 1:14:25Speaker 8: could have got.
- 1:14:26Speaker 4: Away with it.
- 1:14:27Speaker 8: That too.
- 1:14:27Speaker 10: I think that's probably the problem there.
- 1:14:29Speaker 8: You are no suicide girl?
- 1:14:31Speaker 12: No.
- 1:14:31Speaker 4: No, I am not. I try.
- 1:14:34Speaker 10: As much as I try.
- 1:14:35Speaker 8: But, yeah, like I said, he was more handsome than
- 1:14:37Speaker 8: I thought he would be. He looks a little bit taller.
- 1:14:39Speaker 8: It seemed quite as scary as I would have thought.
- 1:14:43Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 1:14:43Speaker 4: You're putting everything on his dad on the end.
- 1:14:45Speaker 8: I am. He's not as crazy as I would think,
- 1:14:48Speaker 8: knowing who his dad is. Not that I personally know
- 1:14:50Speaker 8: his dad. I just know that what I've seen on television,
- 1:14:52Speaker 8: he looks batshit insane.
- 1:14:53Speaker 4: Yes, he does.
- 1:14:54Speaker 8: And I was afraid that any of that, you know,
- 1:14:57Speaker 8: buckets of nuts fucking rolled on into Jake Ducey. But, no,
- 1:15:01Speaker 8: I didn't have to talk to him.
- 1:15:02Speaker 4: I just kind of walked by. I didn't, like.
- 1:15:05Speaker 8: converse to him at any point. I didn't try to
- 1:15:06Speaker 8: get his autograph because, you know, I've maybe seen Jake Busey.
- 1:15:10Speaker 4: In one movie ever.
- 1:15:11Speaker 8: Maybe.
- 1:15:12Speaker 14: Two.
- 1:15:13Speaker 8: One.
- 1:15:13Speaker 10: You've seen Pregnars?
- 1:15:14Speaker 8: Oh, I've seen three then because he was in Identity.
- 1:15:17Speaker 8: Wasn't he?
- 1:15:19Speaker 4: I can't even remember. It's been so long since I've
- 1:15:20Speaker 4: seen Identity.
- 1:15:21Speaker 8: He was the guy who was tied up into the chair.
- 1:15:23Speaker 8: He was the prisoner.
- 1:15:24Speaker 12: Okay, yeah.
- 1:15:24Speaker 4: Wasn't he? It's been so long since I've seen Identity.
- 1:15:27Speaker 4: I can't remember anything.
- 1:15:28Speaker 8: And then he was in, wasn't he in, um, what was.
- 1:15:31Speaker 4: The big box?
- 1:15:32Speaker 10: Starship Troopers.
- 1:15:32Speaker 8: It's a great movie.
- 1:15:33Speaker 12: I know.
- 1:15:34Speaker 11: It's a great movie.
- 1:15:35Speaker 12: Oh, Lord.
- 1:15:36Speaker 10: We need to watch some Starship Troopers.
- 1:15:37Speaker 8: That was my mom and Rob's first movie that they
- 1:15:39Speaker 8: watched together.
- 1:15:39Speaker 4: Really?
- 1:15:40Speaker 12: Yes.
- 1:15:41Speaker 10: What an odd choice for a date movie, but all right.
- 1:15:44Speaker 4: It seems like my kind of date movie.
- 1:15:46Speaker 8: Is there any other celebrities you want to make fun of?
- 1:15:50Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 1:15:51Speaker 14: I kept wanting to ask Tom Sizemore about the Ameris.
- 1:15:54Speaker 4: Commercial, but.
- 1:15:57Speaker 11: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:15:58Speaker 14: I don't know if anybody ever watches, like, the commercials,
- 1:16:01Speaker 14: but if anybody's familiar with him.
- 1:16:03Speaker 11: Omneris.
- 1:16:04Speaker 8: Omneris. Omneris to the nose.
- 1:16:06Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:16:08Speaker 14: The guy, the little computer guy looks like Tom Sizemore.
- 1:16:12Speaker 8: He did.
- 1:16:13Speaker 4: Misty pointed this out.
- 1:16:14Speaker 14: But then recently he's gotten to look less like Tom Sizemore.
- 1:16:19Speaker 14: So I'm wondering if Tom Sizemore realized that, hey, they
- 1:16:22Speaker 14: ripped me off. And he called him and said, hey,
- 1:16:26Speaker 14: you need to change this guy around because he looks
- 1:16:27Speaker 14: exactly like me.
- 1:16:28Speaker 4: Likeness rights. Yeah. You can sue him for that kind
- 1:16:31Speaker 4: of stuff. But I was going to ask him.
- 1:16:34Speaker 8: I was very uncomfortable with Tom Sizemore's pants. It didn't
- 1:16:38Speaker 8: make me uncomfortable. It was like... It just, it made
- 1:16:41Speaker 8: me uncomfortable.
- 1:16:42Speaker 4: They weren't tall enough. They didn't fit him, yeah.
- 1:16:45Speaker 12: Low rise.
- 1:16:46Speaker 8: They were very, extremely low rise. They were like, they
- 1:16:48Speaker 8: were like an inch of zipper between like the crotch
- 1:16:51Speaker 8: and the button. And then, he has no ass whatsoever.
- 1:16:55Speaker 8: None whatsoever to speak of. There was no ass on
- 1:16:57Speaker 8: Tom Sizemore.
- 1:16:58Speaker 10: Not even a little.
- 1:16:58Speaker 8: It was like... indented inwards it.
- 1:17:01Speaker 4: Just didn't fit his personality.
- 1:17:03Speaker 8: Really are you saying he has a fat ass personality
- 1:17:06Speaker 8: no it's.
- 1:17:06Speaker 4: Not what I would have expected him to wear it
- 1:17:08Speaker 4: kind of looked like a little too trendy I didn't
- 1:17:10Speaker 4: I expected him to wear like good old American Levis
- 1:17:14Speaker 4: or something you know.
- 1:17:15Speaker 14: Yeah he was wearing like that and a chain wallet
- 1:17:17Speaker 14: and a hot rod shirt and I was going to
- 1:17:18Speaker 14: ask him if.
- 1:17:19Speaker 4: He was into cars you know I don't know earlier
- 1:17:22Speaker 4: he was wearing a Jimi Hendrix t-shirt so was he
- 1:17:25Speaker 4: yeah everybody.
- 1:17:26Speaker 10: Kept changing because it was so hot in.
- 1:17:28Speaker 8: That room yeah I thought he was wearing a Bob
- 1:17:32Speaker 8: Dylan shirt.
- 1:17:32Speaker 13: Oh, yeah.
- 1:17:32Speaker 4: Later today, he was wearing a Hot Rod shirt.
- 1:17:34Speaker 8: But earlier today, he was wearing a Bob Dylan shirt.
- 1:17:38Speaker 4: Was it Dylan?
- 1:17:38Speaker 10: I can't remember. It was some 60s rock.
- 1:17:41Speaker 4: I don't know. I think he stole most of the
- 1:17:44Speaker 4: shirts from the vendors in the... Damn, Tom Sizemore gave
- 1:17:47Speaker 4: me a shirt.
- 1:17:48Speaker 11: Okay.
- 1:17:49Speaker 4: All right. Here you go.
- 1:17:51Speaker 8: We already discussed Bill Moseley and his wicked awesomeness.
- 1:17:54Speaker 10: He gave me a cookie.
- 1:17:56Speaker 4: That was Bob.
- 1:17:57Speaker 8: I don't take cookies from just anybody. Especially pecan sandies.
- 1:18:01Speaker 8: It actually wasn't bad. I don't think I've ever actually
- 1:18:05Speaker 8: had a pecan sandy before. Thank you, Bill Mosley.
- 1:18:08Speaker 4: Every time you eat a pecan sandy, you're going to
- 1:18:10Speaker 4: think of Bill Mosley.
- 1:18:11Speaker 8: Chances are I'll never eat a pecan sandy again. I will.
- 1:18:13Speaker 10: I'm down with some pecans. Those were good. I'll go
- 1:18:16Speaker 10: get some and think of Bill Mosley.
- 1:18:19Speaker 4: Think of him chop-topping the top of his head. Scooping
- 1:18:23Speaker 4: in and eating a pecan sandy with it. I got
- 1:18:27Speaker 4: a question. What was with the big boob green mannequin chick?
- 1:18:32Speaker 4: I never hung around long enough to figure that out.
- 1:18:34Speaker 4: I'm not exactly sure.
- 1:18:37Speaker 10: They just roll a lot of weird stuff into conventions.
- 1:18:39Speaker 4: I guess. Fanboys can go, oh my god, she's got
- 1:18:44Speaker 4: some big boobs. Get my picture with her.
- 1:18:46Speaker 10: She won't move.
- 1:18:48Speaker 4: She can't run away. She can't run away.
- 1:18:50Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:18:51Speaker 4: She can't call security on me.
- 1:18:55Speaker 10: The sad part is she still did.
- 1:18:56Speaker 8: Do you want to share your story of the ranting celebrity? Huh?
- 1:19:02Speaker 8: The bathroom guy?
- 1:19:03Speaker 4: No, I don't care. We can tell it randomly since
- 1:19:06Speaker 4: we don't 100% know who it is, but we're pretty sure.
- 1:19:09Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:19:10Speaker 8: You want to tell?
- 1:19:11Speaker 12: Okay.
- 1:19:11Speaker 8: He doesn't want to tell a story.
- 1:19:12Speaker 4: Hey, I don't care.
- 1:19:13Speaker 8: Apparently some celebrity was being a dick at the bathroom.
- 1:19:15Speaker 4: Yeah. I don't know. It was somebody that really, I
- 1:19:20Speaker 4: didn't know who the fuck he was, so I'm not
- 1:19:23Speaker 4: saying that's not a celebrity, but still.
- 1:19:25Speaker 14: If you're going to yell at the poor girl, not
- 1:19:26Speaker 14: really yell, but kind of bitch that poor girl that was, like,
- 1:19:30Speaker 14: fucking cleaning the toilets, you know? Part of me wanted
- 1:19:33Speaker 14: to get up and say, hey, fuckface, you.
- 1:19:36Speaker 4: Know, why don't you be nice for once before I
- 1:19:37Speaker 4: shove my fist up your face? God, you know? Who
- 1:19:41Speaker 4: the fuck are you?
- 1:19:42Speaker 8: Whatever.
- 1:19:44Speaker 4: She was apologizing. She probably could have lost the job
- 1:19:46Speaker 4: because he was kind of like, you know, I don't know.
- 1:19:48Speaker 10: I just hate.
- 1:19:49Speaker 4: People abusing, like, what little power they got, you know.
- 1:19:53Speaker 4: And just trying to be jackasses over people.
- 1:19:56Speaker 14: Especially people that work hard every day, you know.
- 1:19:58Speaker 10: Yeah, I mean, she's cleaning the bathroom for God's sake.
- 1:20:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:20:01Speaker 14: I think he was complaining about there was no toilet
- 1:20:03Speaker 14: paper in there. Because she was replacing the fucking toilet paper.
- 1:20:06Speaker 10: You kicked her out.
- 1:20:07Speaker 4: You kicked her out of the fucking bathroom.
- 1:20:09Speaker 16: You know.
- 1:20:09Speaker 8: Whatever.
- 1:20:10Speaker 4: Whatever.
- 1:20:11Speaker 10: Whatever.
- 1:20:12Speaker 8: Now it's time to drive angry.
- 1:20:13Speaker 4: Drive angry. I got my squishy ball over here. It's
- 1:20:18Speaker 4: a therapeutic squishy ball. A therapeutic squishy ball. I can
- 1:20:21Speaker 4: do that.
- 1:20:23Speaker 11: One.
- 1:20:24Speaker 4: I can door handle.
- 1:20:25Speaker 8: There. I got it. Are there any other celebrities that
- 1:20:29Speaker 8: caught our attention in any way, positive or negative?
- 1:20:32Speaker 4: Zoey Bell was awesome, but she disappeared too fast. She left.
- 1:20:36Speaker 10: She was there.
- 1:20:36Speaker 8: She was so cute.
- 1:20:38Speaker 4: She was.
- 1:20:38Speaker 10: She was actually nice. I knocked her for a minute.
- 1:20:40Speaker 10: And then she was out. She had to go catch
- 1:20:42Speaker 10: a plane.
- 1:20:43Speaker 8: Plane the awesome girl.
- 1:20:44Speaker 4: Yeah, pretty much. She is damn awesome.
- 1:20:47Speaker 14: I always feel bad when we go to these conventions
- 1:20:50Speaker 14: because there's always a lot of really great artwork.
- 1:20:53Speaker 4: So I'm not really so poor. It's just that I'm like.
- 1:20:57Speaker 14: $ 20 artwork or $ 20 motorcycle part.
- 1:21:03Speaker 8: Or food.
- 1:21:04Speaker 5: Or food.
- 1:21:04Speaker 4: Yeah, right now this week it's food. so I'm to
- 1:21:08Speaker 4: the point it's like well that's awesome where the hell
- 1:21:09Speaker 4: am I going to put.
- 1:21:10Speaker 8: It well that's awesome I'll come back later and get
- 1:21:12Speaker 8: it oh wait it's gone yeah that's usually how it
- 1:21:13Speaker 8: goes I didn't buy anything at all. There were some
- 1:21:19Speaker 8: t-shirts I really wanted, but $ 14 for a t-shirt, and
- 1:21:22Speaker 8: I have a shitload of t-shirts.
- 1:21:24Speaker 10: That's pretty cheap, actually.
- 1:21:25Speaker 8: I know, but I have, I think it was like
- 1:21:27Speaker 8: $ 10 maybe, but I've got so many t-shirts, do I
- 1:21:29Speaker 8: want to spend $ 14 for another t-shirt?
- 1:21:32Speaker 10: I kind of do.
- 1:21:32Speaker 14: Yeah, it's like a $ 10 t-shirt. You can't pass a
- 1:21:34Speaker 14: $ 10 t-shirt up. I mean, look at a fucking $ 10 t-shirt.
- 1:21:38Speaker 14: That's like a dog that sings. You can't fucking pass
- 1:21:40Speaker 14: it up.
- 1:21:42Speaker 13: What?
- 1:21:45Speaker 8: What? What the fuck.
- 1:21:47Speaker 4: Does that look for?
- 1:21:52Speaker 10: Alright, with that, should we wrap things up?
- 1:21:54Speaker 8: Yeah, I think so.
- 1:21:56Speaker 4: I think we've covered most of it. Yeah, otherwise, it.
- 1:22:01Speaker 10: Was a well put together show.
- 1:22:04Speaker 4: So yeah, go to daysofthedead.net and start planning for next
- 1:22:07Speaker 4: time out. Anything else we need to pass along this week?
- 1:22:12Speaker 8: I was going to say $ 4 for steak fries is overpriced.
- 1:22:16Speaker 10: But not for that big-ass slice of pizza.
- 1:22:17Speaker 4: That was a.
- 1:22:18Speaker 17: Big-ass piece of pizza, dude.
- 1:22:19Speaker 10: Dude, it was the size of this one guy's head.
- 1:22:21Speaker 8: And he was trying to cram it all in at once.
- 1:22:23Speaker 4: He was trying to cram that whole fucking slice of
- 1:22:25Speaker 4: pizza in his fucking head, and he couldn't because it
- 1:22:27Speaker 4: was as big as his head.
- 1:22:29Speaker 8: Even folded, it was huge.
- 1:22:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:22:33Speaker 14: Like, he tried to make a funnel out of it
- 1:22:35Speaker 14: and just kind of, like, slide it down his gut,
- 1:22:37Speaker 14: but it just didn't work.
- 1:22:38Speaker 8: He was making a funnel for, like, the fries or something.
- 1:22:40Speaker 11: I don't know.
- 1:22:40Speaker 8: I don't know what that shit is.
- 1:22:41Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:22:42Speaker 10: I guess we'll have to fire up some... Drive angry music.
- 1:22:45Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:22:47Speaker 4: Which I do like the, even the director, by the
- 1:22:49Speaker 4: end of the movie, as it's wrapping up in that
- 1:22:51Speaker 4: big scene there, even the director referred to it as
- 1:22:54Speaker 4: a live-action meatloaf song.
- 1:22:57Speaker 10: I was just like, yeah, yeah, kind of.
- 1:23:00Speaker 8: Yeah, I think I was listening to it and it
- 1:23:03Speaker 8: sounded like a meatloaf song to me. Yeah.
- 1:23:05Speaker 10: Well, I think it's a cover, actually.
- 1:23:07Speaker 4: I mean, they do. I think that's why that was
- 1:23:09Speaker 4: the tie-in on the final song.
- 1:23:11Speaker 14: When I think of meatloaf, I think of, like, paradise
- 1:23:15Speaker 14: by the dashboard light or i think a bad out
- 1:23:18Speaker 14: of hell no not.
- 1:23:19Speaker 8: Really i don't do anything for love.
- 1:23:22Speaker 14: Yeah yeah i remember i remember seeing the meat yeah
- 1:23:28Speaker 14: like the album cover.
- 1:23:29Speaker 26: I was singing for you the bad out of hell
- 1:23:34Speaker 26: album like i saw it when i was like when
- 1:23:36Speaker 26: i was in school i saw it like uh whatever
- 1:23:39Speaker 26: fucking podunk record store that we had around the house
- 1:23:43Speaker 26: I was like, oh, my.
- 1:23:43Speaker 10: God, this is fucking awesome.
- 1:23:45Speaker 4: There's, like, this bat, and he's riding his fucking motorcycle.
- 1:23:47Speaker 4: He's riding out of hell. This is awesome. I got
- 1:23:50Speaker 4: home to listen to it, and I was like, this sucks.
- 1:23:53Speaker 4: I wanted something hardcore.
- 1:23:54Speaker 8: Like, I wanted, like... Was it a lemon, and you
- 1:23:56Speaker 8: wanted your money back?
- 1:23:57Speaker 4: Yeah, I wanted, like, Testament or something. I wanted something fast.
- 1:24:01Speaker 8: Two out of three ain't bad.
- 1:24:03Speaker 4: So bad.
- 1:24:04Speaker 8: It's fucking awesome.
- 1:24:12Speaker 4: All revved up and nowhere to go.
- 1:24:14Speaker 10: Alright, we should get the hell out of here.
