- 0:00SPEAKER_01: Well, I'm gonna tell you the uh heat was on in the car and so was the uh butt warmer in the seat.
- 0:05SPEAKER_00: Oh, I always put the butt warmer on.
- 0:06SPEAKER_00: Oh, always even in the summer?
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: Um there are days, yeah.
- 0:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 0:11SPEAKER_00: There's something about a good a good butt warmer.
- 0:13SPEAKER_01: A good toasty bun?
- 0:14SPEAKER_00: Yes, yeah.
- 0:15SPEAKER_00: I I love a good butt warmer.
- 0:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I felt it this morning.
- 0:18SPEAKER_01: It's like only 45.
- 0:19SPEAKER_01: I'm like, oh, this is uh this is a little chilly.
- 0:23SPEAKER_01: A little bit of a settling in for this.
- 0:25SPEAKER_00: It's the change.
- 0:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you know, we're a week away from fall.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: Are we really?
- 0:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 0:31SPEAKER_01: I can't believe that.
- 0:32SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 0:33SPEAKER_01: I well, I mean it's weird because after Labor Day and when everybody finally is all back in school, I think mentally we already check out of the summer mode a little bit.
- 0:41SPEAKER_01: But we are real close to the official start of fall.
- 0:44SPEAKER_00: Oh.
- 0:45SPEAKER_00: Well, I guess that is perfect.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: I'll be at Harvest Fest on Friday with the Gaffer district.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: So if you if you're there early, I'll see you.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: Actually, if you're there for lunch, I'll see you there.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: Because I'll be there more for the lunchtime crowd.
- 0:57SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's good though.
- 0:58SPEAKER_01: That's a packed crowd.
- 0:59SPEAKER_01: You everybody from Corning comes over.
- 1:01SPEAKER_01: Oh, I know.
- 1:01SPEAKER_01: I mean, I mean Corning ain't obviously the city itself comes too.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: If you if you live in the area, you usually go over for lunch.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: You always see Market Street packed up.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: Well, it looks like Travis Kelsey had those uh marriage vibes last night.
- 1:14SPEAKER_01: Heard that was quite the blowout with Kansas City just ripping apart the Broncos.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: I think it's 34 to 10 or something like that.
- 1:21SPEAKER_01: Something like that.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I saw that this morning on the TV.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: I was looking at the Stairmaster and I was like, mmm, marriage is doing that guy well.
- 1:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he's he's gonna be just fine.
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: I was I'm not gonna lie about that.
- 1:30SPEAKER_01: I was a little surprised because I did not think uh uh Mahomes was gonna be at 100%.
- 1:36SPEAKER_01: Remember last year, the end of the season, frankly, it's what kept him out of the Super Bowl.
- 1:40SPEAKER_01: Uh he what he tore the back of his ankle?
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: What is that?
- 1:43SPEAKER_01: The ACL.
- 1:44SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 1:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:45SPEAKER_01: And he's back.
- 1:45SPEAKER_01: He's back.
- 1:46SPEAKER_01: And he's running.
- 1:47SPEAKER_01: It's like, geez, if I tore an ACL, and I might have torn an ACL in the past year, uh, doing soccer things in different sports with the kids, because You should have gone to the doctors.
- 1:57SPEAKER_01: I couldn't stop being 25, even though I'm nowhere near that anymore.
- 2:01SPEAKER_01: Um, and you know, I'm not gonna run.
- 2:03SPEAKER_01: I mean, if you told me right now we had to run out of here, you might get a fast trot out of me.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, have you seen the the TikTok where it's what questions to ask in the group chat?
- 2:13SPEAKER_01: I don't know that I've seen this one yet.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: So my girlfriends and I have been trying to pick which questions to ask, and one of them is not who you just don't know what to talk about?
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: Do you have to question each other now?
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: Well, I mean, we've been friends since we were in seventh grade.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: You've run out of words.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: Uh well, no, we never run out of words, but it just keeps it fun.
- 2:31SPEAKER_00: So the first question is uh who thinks they can run the fastest?
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: Not who can run the fastest.
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: Who thinks they can?
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: Who thinks they can.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: So uh wait, hold on, let me pull up these questions.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: If you give me a minute, I'll pull up some of the other ones.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: Because out of the two of us.
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: Oh, I think I can run the fastest.
- 2:50SPEAKER_01: Oh, I I know I can run the fastest.
- 2:53SPEAKER_01: Wait, uh, this sounds like it's turning into a challenge.
- 2:55SPEAKER_01: I just told you that I might have torn an ACL or whatever else strings up the back of your legs.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: I'm not a very fast runner.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: And then I said to my girlfriend, I don't think my running days are behind me.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: See what I did there?
- 3:07SPEAKER_01: Yes, I did.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: So I don't think I'm the one that can run the fastest.
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: Could I bench the most between those three?
- 3:14SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: Okay, not bench the most.
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: Could I No, but that's kind of a cool flex.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah, could I press the most?
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah, for sure.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: Sure.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: But running the fastest, my one girlfriend used to run cross country.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:26SPEAKER_01: But you know, if you don't do it, if you you know, because you used to do you didn't you were in your marathon phase.
- 3:31SPEAKER_01: If you don't do it or keep up on it, it it you lose it.
- 3:34SPEAKER_01: You lose it.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, for me to run a mile right now, no, not even a chance.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: I remember the other one.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: Who is the crunchiest?
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: It's absolutely my friend Marianne, and here's why.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: She's one of those people that because there's three of us in the group.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: It's me, Marianne, and Jessica.
- 3:49SPEAKER_00: And Marianne will go camping in Banff.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: And it's a do you know what a take-in, take out is?
- 3:55SPEAKER_01: Uh no.
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: It is whatever you take in, you take out.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: Oh.
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: Which includes your excrement.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: Oh.
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: Marianne has pooped.
- 4:03SPEAKER_01: Why do you go to these places?
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: Marianne has pooped in a bag and took it out with her.
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: Oh, God.
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: Yes, she's super crunchy.
- 4:11SPEAKER_01: That's why I'm appalled.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: I pick up dog poop like it's a day job.
- 4:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but if it's your own poop, there's something different about the human side of it.
- 4:18SPEAKER_01: Although I could change a diaper, you know, and it doesn't even phase me.
- 4:21SPEAKER_01: But there's something about when you're an adult and you drop one, I don't want to carry that.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: Who do you think is the crunchiest between us two?
- 4:27SPEAKER_01: Well, what really?
- 4:28SPEAKER_00: It's definitely me.
- 4:30SPEAKER_01: It's absolutely you think you're the crunch.
- 4:31SPEAKER_01: Oh, crunchy canola.
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah, what were you thinking?
- 4:34SPEAKER_01: Like just crunchy?
- 4:35SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's you.
- 4:36SPEAKER_01: I'm not necessarily grumpy.
- 4:37SPEAKER_01: I'm just Oh, you're wait, wait, wait.
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: I'm not grumpy, but you're like, I you guys find something that you don't have enough to talk about.
- 4:43SPEAKER_00: Well, like you.
- 4:44SPEAKER_01: That's a legitimate question.
- 4:45SPEAKER_01: Like you run, like, do you think guys sit around and go, Oh, let's do the TikTok questionnaire?
- 4:50SPEAKER_01: Hey, Terry.
- 4:51SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
- 4:52SPEAKER_01: Who can run faster?
- 4:53SPEAKER_00: He'd be like, What are you smoking something?
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: I think what it is, it's a it happens a little differently.
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: You guys will be around a fire and be like, who do you think can run the fastest?
- 5:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that might be.
- 5:04SPEAKER_00: It becomes more of like a challenge.
- 5:05SPEAKER_01: Or there's no drama in the friend group at the moment to talk about, so you have to invent things to come up and talk about.
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: Oh, we never have drama.
- 5:12SPEAKER_00: Well, you can't.
- 5:13SPEAKER_01: It could be any when I say drama, it could be anything.
- 5:15SPEAKER_01: It could be Marianne's uh, you know, uh stepkid in school got into a fight if there's nothing to talk about.
- 5:22SPEAKER_01: Because you know, drama doesn't have to necessarily be drama.
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: It's never between us.
- 5:28SPEAKER_00: It's always I that this is the part that I love.
- 5:31SPEAKER_00: Like Zach and I have this list of things that we always talk about at the end of the night uh the end of the night.
- 5:36SPEAKER_00: And that list.
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: Um, I don't know.
- 5:39SPEAKER_00: I think we just both were like, hey, we can't always remember what happened during the day.
- 5:43SPEAKER_01: Sorry, I think you I forgot you keep notes to talk to each other about.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: And I so it's never like drama between us, but I love it because you know, sometimes sometimes it might be you.
- 5:53SPEAKER_00: Sometimes it might be some of his coworkers, and we're like, oh I'm keeping up on drama of people I've never met.
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: That's right.
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: It's so great.
- 6:01SPEAKER_01: That's so you don't have to do a TikTok quiz with him.
- 6:04SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 6:04SPEAKER_00: Or it might even be my other friend's point.
- 6:06SPEAKER_00: My other friend's drama.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: Like, oh, she worked somewhere.
- 6:09SPEAKER_00: That person got a DUI and ran into a tree.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: Oh wow.
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: No, that really happened.
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: I that's I believe that.
- 6:18SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 6:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah, wow.
- 6:19SPEAKER_00: Of all places.
- 6:20SPEAKER_00: Oh.
- 6:20SPEAKER_00: Just kidding.
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: Of course.
- 6:22SPEAKER_01: You couldn't call 911 real easy up there.
- 6:24SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 6:24SPEAKER_01: Oh my God.
- 6:25SPEAKER_01: How do you?
- 6:26SPEAKER_01: I guess you sit and wait for someone to cruise.
- 6:29SPEAKER_01: Suffer?
- 6:29SPEAKER_01: I g yeah.
- 6:30SPEAKER_01: Oh.
- 6:31SPEAKER_01: Oh.
- 6:32SPEAKER_00: Because I was worried.
- 6:32SPEAKER_00: I mean, yeah, it sucks, you guys, do you guys.
- 6:35SPEAKER_01: Why am I so engaged in that?
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: I was I I was worried about their their actual you know well being.
- 6:41SPEAKER_00: Well being.
- 6:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 6:42SPEAKER_01: Uh something tells me they didn't feel it.
- 6:44SPEAKER_01: I'm just betting.
