- 0:00Speaker 1: What up, y'all? It's your boy Kev on stage.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Tony Baker.
- 0:02Speaker 1: This is the Ball Brothers Show where me and my
- 0:05Speaker 1: good friend Tony Baker talk about whatever we want. Movies,
- 0:07Speaker 1: TV shows, and whether we like coochie pics, solo or not.
- 0:11Speaker 1: I don't mind. Tony does. Before we get started, Tony
- 0:16Speaker 1: got something that he wants to get off his chest.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Yeah, let me get it off my nipples, man.
- 0:21Speaker 3: If y'all could stop matchmaking me with every woman you
- 0:25Speaker 3: see me with that's not already attached, I would greatly
- 0:28Speaker 3: appreciate it. Stop trying to hook me up. Stop trying
- 0:31Speaker 3: to match make. Stop digging and looking.
- 0:34Speaker 2: I've had it. That's all I got to say.
- 0:37Speaker 1: That's it?
- 0:38Speaker 2: Yeah, that's it, man. People always, man, Tony, he's shooting
- 0:42Speaker 2: a shot. Look at him. He uncomfortable. He fidgeting. Look
- 0:45Speaker 2: at his body language.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Look at him.
- 0:46Speaker 2: Shut the hell up. Y'all always looking for something.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Wookin' for nub.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Wookin' for nub, man.
- 0:55Speaker 1: It's because you're handsome, Tony. They're going to put you
- 0:58Speaker 1: with somebody because sometimes they want to send you the
- 1:00Speaker 1: coochie pic.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Nah, man, watch out.
- 1:02Speaker 1: On its own or with the body and titties.
- 1:04Speaker 3: And then sometimes y'all do it to women that are
- 1:06Speaker 3: attached and it's just awkward, man.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Shut the hell up. Shut it up.
- 1:12Speaker 1: You're going to have to do a shut the hell
- 1:14Speaker 1: up set and get the merch going. Because I want
- 1:17Speaker 1: the shut the hell up for 72 hours t-shirt. Tony Baker, S-T-H-U.
- 1:21Speaker 1: I do got to make that merch. Man, shut the
- 1:23Speaker 1: hell up, man. You fussing is prime real estate for
- 1:26Speaker 1: great jokes. Yeah, OK. You feel good?
- 1:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I had to get that out.
- 1:30Speaker 1: We got to cut that and put that on the ground. Please,
- 1:33Speaker 1: let's put it on the ground. Chop it up. And also,
- 1:36Speaker 1: stop testing me. Friends, family, DM. Okay, what Tony got going, man?
- 1:41Speaker 1: I don't know. bananas, smoothies, walks in his community.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Definitely get all that going.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Camouflage hoodie. Yes. Show.
- 1:50Speaker 2: I love that hoodie.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Put together some money for the ticket to see Tony
- 1:53Speaker 1: if you want to put something together. Put your credit
- 1:56Speaker 1: card numbers together on the website. Yes. Where are you
- 1:59Speaker 1: going to be this week?
- 2:00Speaker 2: I'm going to be in Austin, Texas this weekend.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Put that together. Flight itinerary if you don't live there,
- 2:05Speaker 1: if you want to put things together. Put some women
- 2:08Speaker 1: together as a group. Go to Austin and see Tony live. Yes.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Put that together. Yes. Huh? Shut the hell up for
- 2:15Speaker 1: 68 hours. All right. Because we argued about black actors
- 2:21Speaker 1: last week, Will Smith and Robert De Niro, true to form,
- 2:24Speaker 1: we're picking up white males. Yeah. Today we're talking Robert
- 2:29Speaker 1: De Niro, AKA Bobby De Nears. Versus Al Pacino. Can
- 2:34Speaker 1: you replace them in certain movies? As you well know,
- 2:38Speaker 1: they appear in the following movies at least. Heat, The Irishman,
- 2:43Speaker 1: Righteous Kill, Godfather Part II, even though they don't share
- 2:46Speaker 1: any scenes in Godfather Part II, which we still could say.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Yeah, because they swapped those two.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Yeah, but we're just saying like Heat. Let's start with Heat.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Is it the same, better or worse.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Of a movie if.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Robert De Niro and Al Pacino switch? Bobby D is
- 3:04Speaker 1: now the cop. Robert De Niro is now, I mean,
- 3:09Speaker 1: Al Pacino is now the bank robber.
- 3:13Speaker 2: I think it would be worse.
- 3:15Speaker 1: I do too.
- 3:16Speaker 3: I can't see Al Pacino in that role as the cold, calculated,
- 3:24Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying? No-nonsense Neal McCauley.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Al Pacino has a certain... There's a warmth to him.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Al?
- 3:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:38Speaker 3: He does have a... His character was raggedy. He did
- 3:41Speaker 3: what he had to do, but there was a warmth
- 3:43Speaker 3: to him. There was a people person in there. You
- 3:47Speaker 3: know what I mean? I can't see him going the
- 3:50Speaker 3: Neal route.
- 3:53Speaker 2: In that regard, especially later stage.
- 3:54Speaker 3: This is later stage Al Pacino we're talking about.
- 3:57Speaker 1: What year is he? 95.
- 3:59Speaker 2: Okay, that's perfect. Right on. Yeah, 95.
- 4:03Speaker 1: So he was about 50? Because I think they're both
- 4:06Speaker 1: 80 or close to 80. Yeah. So they were about
- 4:08Speaker 1: mid-50s at that time.
- 4:10Speaker 3: So, you know, Robert De Niro had that coldness, that no-nonsense.
- 4:15Speaker 2: It was just perfect.
- 4:17Speaker 3: And Robert De Niro has always kind of had that
- 4:19Speaker 3: over Al Pacino.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Al Pacino... His menace and his seriousness are all in
- 4:26Speaker 2: the eyes.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Yes.
- 4:28Speaker 2: It's all eyes with him.
- 4:30Speaker 1: And that's one of the reasons, unrelated, I'm sure we'll
- 4:32Speaker 1: get to this moment, why Meet the Parents works. Yeah.
- 4:34Speaker 1: He doesn't actually have to say anything to Greg Falker
- 4:39Speaker 1: to be intimidating. Right. Sometimes it's just a look. Yeah.
- 4:43Speaker 1: I got nipples, Greg. Could you milk me?
- 4:44Speaker 2: Could you milk me?
- 4:45Speaker 1: And the way he looks, he's not being like threatening intimidating,
- 4:50Speaker 1: but he's got like a quiet like, man, this dude.
- 4:52Speaker 1: He ain't really feeling with me. And he got the
- 4:54Speaker 1: CIA going, even though he doesn't know that. But yeah, okay.
- 4:57Speaker 1: I think I agree. I think they're perfectly cast. It's
- 5:01Speaker 1: just crazy as you can be a really good actor
- 5:04Speaker 1: and the role just ain't for you.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure. All day.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Certain things that you just won't be believable at.
- 5:10Speaker 3: Put Daniel Day-Lewis in Bad Boys. That shit is going
- 5:13Speaker 3: to be trash.
- 5:16Speaker 2: If you put Daniel Day-Lewis in Coming to America... It's
- 5:23Speaker 2: just not the word.
- 5:24Speaker 1: But when he's yelling, I abandoned my boy! I abandoned
- 5:28Speaker 1: my boy! I abandoned my son! I'm all in! For sure.
- 5:34Speaker 1: When he's the.
- 5:35Speaker 2: That's what you wanted?
- 5:39Speaker 1: Your boy, Gangs of New York.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Yeah, Gangs of New York. The butcher, yeah.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Well, the butcher, I believe him.
- 5:44Speaker 2: For sure.
- 5:44Speaker 1: I said Billy the Butcher, that's the boys. But bad boys,
- 5:48Speaker 1: can you imagine Daniel Day-Lewis pulling the guns out?
- 5:51Speaker 2: Mike... Lowry. Nah, man.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Michael Lowry.
- 5:57Speaker 2: I'm Michael Lowry, y'all. I drink your milkshake, I drink
- 6:01Speaker 2: it up.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I drink your milkshake. I suck it up. That pause, like,
- 6:07Speaker 1: this man crazy. That whole scene, I was like, I
- 6:12Speaker 1: don't know how many people could do that. And he's
- 6:14Speaker 1: just like, I'm going to do a movie. Then I'm
- 6:16Speaker 1: disappearing off the face of the earth for eight years.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Mm-hmm. And then I'm going to come back fully in.
- 6:21Speaker 1: But yeah, okay. So Heat is a worse movie. Let's
- 6:25Speaker 1: just go Godfather 2.
- 6:26Speaker 2: Okay.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Switch it up. Can Al Pacino be... Was it Vito Corleone?
- 6:32Speaker 2: Yeah, Al Pacino had to be Vito. Young Vito.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Young Vito climbing the ranks in Italy, dealing with the black...
- 6:42Speaker 1: What was his name? The Black Hand or something? Yeah.
- 6:44Speaker 1: The Black Hand?
- 6:44Speaker 2: Uh-huh.
- 6:45Speaker 1: And can... Robert De Niro be young Michael.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Now, I feel like they could switch in this instance.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Oh, say more.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Yeah, because I feel like the key.
- 6:58Speaker 3: To Al Pacino's menace in the Godfather movie, it was
- 7:05Speaker 3: his quiet intensity.
- 7:07Speaker 2: It was all eye work.
- 7:10Speaker 1: I'd be watching clips on it just be like, he
- 7:13Speaker 1: looks like He is on fire behind the pupil. Yes.
- 7:18Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Yes. The Fredo scene, before
- 7:22Speaker 1: he gives him a kiss. Yeah.
- 7:23Speaker 2: Him realizing that.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Yes.
- 7:26Speaker 2: The betrayal. His one explosion against Kate.
- 7:30Speaker 1: Yep.
- 7:32Speaker 3: Even when he was mapping out, am I going to
- 7:35Speaker 3: kill these cats?
- 7:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:37Speaker 2: Am I going to do it? All of that eye
- 7:38Speaker 2: work was just.
- 7:40Speaker 3: And then when he became colder and the leader of
- 7:42Speaker 3: the organization, it was just everything was in the eyes,
- 7:45Speaker 3: just cold.
- 7:46Speaker 2: It's business, man. You know what I'm saying?
- 7:49Speaker 3: So Robert De Niro already has that quiet intensity that
- 7:54Speaker 3: you look at Robert De Niro and you're wondering what
- 7:57Speaker 3: he's thinking and you kind of know what he's thinking
- 7:58Speaker 3: because it's all in the face like he did in
- 7:59Speaker 3: Goodfellas with that scene where he was just like, I'm
- 8:01Speaker 3: going to kill these individuals.
- 8:04Speaker 2: He's smoking a cigarette and looking.
- 8:05Speaker 1: He don't have to say a word.
- 8:06Speaker 2: There were so many different facial expressions. And Vito.
- 8:09Speaker 3: Corleone is a chill guy as well. So everybody's chill
- 8:13Speaker 3: in this movie. Young Vito, old Vito, Michael's chill.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Michael assumed that. That part is good. He assumed his
- 8:22Speaker 1: father's thing. Because remember in the wedding, he was more,
- 8:24Speaker 1: he was very young and he was more chipper.
- 8:26Speaker 2: He was.
- 8:27Speaker 1: He was like, oh, yeah.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Hey, this is my family, man.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Right.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what I'm saying? Once he started in, hey, man,
- 8:32Speaker 2: we ain't smiling.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Yeah. People dying. It ain't nothing funny.
- 8:35Speaker 2: It was a process.
- 8:35Speaker 1: I ain't no chipper, and I'm out the army, and
- 8:37Speaker 1: I got to kill this man. Right. Gun behind the toilet. Yep.
- 8:40Speaker 2: And I'm on the lam. And so the reason that
- 8:42Speaker 2: does work is that they played father and son.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:45Speaker 3: So the different mannerisms, it's like, man, you just like
- 8:49Speaker 3: your grandfather. Because if you look at Vito compared to Sonny,
- 8:52Speaker 3: Sonny's just all hothead volatility.
- 8:55Speaker 2: And he's white.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:56Speaker 2: He's just like....
- 8:59Speaker 3: Put your hand on my sister, bitch, shut the fuck up.
- 9:01Speaker 3: Sonny was just on 10. You're not gonna disrespect my sister.
- 9:06Speaker 3: I don't know why you even hooked that up. That's
- 9:09Speaker 3: on your head, Sonny. You hooked your sister up with
- 9:12Speaker 3: that raggedy boy. And that led to your death. But
- 9:19Speaker 3: Michael is more like his grandfather. His grandfather was shielded
- 9:23Speaker 3: until the day he died. And so I feel like
- 9:26Speaker 3: they could swap.
- 9:28Speaker 1: All right, I'm with you.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I think they can swap it.
- 9:30Speaker 1: All right, here we go. First one and then you'll go.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Okay.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Can Al Pacino, I'm sorry, can Robert De Niro replace
- 9:38Speaker 1: Al Pacino in one of my favorite sports movies of
- 9:40Speaker 1: all times any given Sunday?
- 9:43Speaker 2: I don't think so.
- 9:45Speaker 1: What?
- 9:45Speaker 3: I can't see Robert De Niro coaching the NFL team.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Really?
- 9:51Speaker 3: Yeah, he's too, I can't see him. personality in it
- 9:58Speaker 3: up and rallying the troops in the locker.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Room.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Yeah, Al Pacino reminds me of what I think Pat
- 10:03Speaker 1: Riley was as a coach. Yeah. You know, did you
- 10:07Speaker 1: watch Winning Time?
- 10:09Speaker 2: Yes, the first season.
- 10:10Speaker 1: The first season, so was Jerry West the coach then?
- 10:15Speaker 2: He wasn't the coach yet.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Kurt Rambis?
- 10:19Speaker 2: Who was the coach then?
- 10:21Speaker 1: Because Adrian Brody plays Pat Riley. Yes.
- 10:24Speaker 2: Okay. Who was great, by the way.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Yes. I feel like that is who Al Pacino was. Yeah.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Even though Pat Riley was a basketball thing, I feel
- 10:33Speaker 1: like that is Pat Riley.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Because he kind of looks like that, too. But I
- 10:38Speaker 1: feel like that's who Al Pacino modeled himself after. Yeah.
- 10:42Speaker 1: You don't think Bobby D can pull it off?
- 10:43Speaker 2: I can't. Because Robert De Niro has a social awkwardness.
- 10:50Speaker 3: To himself that I feel like wouldn't adhere him to
- 10:54Speaker 3: be a coach, like a head coach.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Because a good head coach has the ability to be
- 11:01Speaker 2: a leader on and off the field. You got to
- 11:03Speaker 2: know your players. You got to know all of that.
- 11:05Speaker 3: And you also have to connect with the players in
- 11:07Speaker 3: some kind of way.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:09Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying? And I feel like Al
- 11:11Speaker 3: Pacino had that more. within any given Sunday, a way
- 11:15Speaker 3: to win you over. Make you want to run through
- 11:17Speaker 3: a wall. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? I feel
- 11:21Speaker 3: like Robert De Niro would struggle in that regard. Because
- 11:24Speaker 3: I'm trying to think of movies where it's just like,
- 11:26Speaker 3: when has he won me over?
- 11:28Speaker 1: I think, I don't know if he won me over,
- 11:32Speaker 1: but I feel like in a Bronx tale, I felt him.
- 11:36Speaker 2: As a father? It was serious business. It was just like, yo, man.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Oh, you mean like woman with charm?
- 11:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Oh, no. I don't think that's... I think... Yeah, I
- 11:47Speaker 1: don't think that's what makes him work. Right.
- 11:49Speaker 2: He ain't... Al Pacino has a charm to him. Oh, yeah.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Cinema woman.
- 11:55Speaker 2: That I haven't seen with... What do you think.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Robert De Niro's base thing is? Because it's what makes
- 12:05Speaker 1: him work as a scary... Intensity, awkwardness, violence.
- 12:13Speaker 2: These are all things that really work well. Intimidation. These
- 12:16Speaker 2: are things that really work well with Robert De Niro.
- 12:20Speaker 3: When you look at Robert De Niro, it's always like
- 12:22Speaker 3: he's got something brewing on the back burner.
- 12:26Speaker 1: He's got that quiet fire.
- 12:27Speaker 3: Yeah, and that quiet fire can be scary. He's more
- 12:30Speaker 3: intimidating to me than Al Pacino.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, I agree. I agree. I think Papachino's more charismatic.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Because even like Ocean's 13, when he lost, or he
- 12:47Speaker 1: thinks they robbed him, but he's like, I still got the,
- 12:50Speaker 1: what was it, the five diamonds or something? He's like,
- 12:53Speaker 1: I still got the five diamonds? Yeah. Still a 69
- 12:55Speaker 1: on the handicap. Like, he's like, very LeVar Ball. Right.
- 12:59Speaker 1: I never lost. I never lost. And then Saul walks by.
- 13:02Speaker 1: He's like, oh, did you win? He tips the hat.
- 13:04Speaker 1: He's like, Hold up. So you do want to like,
- 13:08Speaker 1: there's like a certain je ne sais quoi that he
- 13:12Speaker 1: has that makes him appealing that I think Robert De Niro,
- 13:16Speaker 1: and you can, that's why I think Robert De Niro
- 13:18Speaker 1: can be in like Taxi Driver and Raging Bull. Like,
- 13:22Speaker 1: you don't know what he's finna do. He's always... Feels
- 13:27Speaker 1: like he could be on the edge of just like
- 13:29Speaker 1: snapping your neck. You know how Joe Pesci was in Goodfellas? Yeah.
- 13:32Speaker 1: You don't know what he's going to do. Right. You
- 13:34Speaker 1: might kill somebody you know you're not supposed to. Yeah.
- 13:37Speaker 1: That's what Robert De Niro, that's what makes him so
- 13:39Speaker 1: intimidating in Meet the Parents. As a dad, it's just like, yo, man,
- 13:42Speaker 1: this guy, he's hard to read.
- 13:44Speaker 2: Hard to read, dog. He's mean.
- 13:47Speaker 1: He's intimidating. He's got the Tom Collins mix going. It's
- 13:50Speaker 1: still scary.
- 13:51Speaker 3: And not to say that he can't be nice. Like,
- 13:53Speaker 3: I've seen him in Meet the Parents. He loves his daughter.
- 13:56Speaker 3: He loves his wife. You see that softness. He can't
- 13:58Speaker 3: give you soft.
- 13:59Speaker 1: Yeah, because he liked Owen Wilson's character in that. Yeah.
- 14:02Speaker 1: He was like... And we don't know the background. Like,
- 14:05Speaker 1: you didn't like him until she broke up. Like, he
- 14:07Speaker 1: was like, now this? You're a man. This my boy
- 14:10Speaker 1: right here. This my boy. Come on in.
- 14:12Speaker 2: He can give you the softness I rock with you.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:15Speaker 2: But the charm, though, I can't recall, like, a performance.
- 14:19Speaker 1: So you're saying no, Rob Ross is coming by for
- 14:21Speaker 1: any given Sunday?
- 14:22Speaker 2: No, I can't see Robert De Niro as the coach
- 14:25Speaker 2: any given Sunday.
- 14:25Speaker 1: All right. All right, you're up.
- 14:27Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying? Can you see? I don't
- 14:29Speaker 2: know if you saw this movie. I don't know if
- 14:30Speaker 2: you've seen these movies.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Man, just throw it out there, and if I didn't,
- 14:32Speaker 1: you can talk about it.
- 14:33Speaker 3: Okay, can Robert De Niro play Tony Montana in Scarface?
- 14:38Speaker 1: Now, come on. You better know if I saw Scarface.
- 14:41Speaker 3: Well, I'm just asking for future movies. Because I feel
- 14:44Speaker 3: like a lot of this stuff you ain't seen.
- 14:46Speaker 1: I seen a lot.
- 14:47Speaker 2: All right. So I went right with something I know
- 14:50Speaker 2: you saw.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure. You know I know. Okay. Okay, here's the,
- 14:55Speaker 1: I'm thinking of, I think, Okay, so let me... Here's
- 15:01Speaker 1: my overall thought. I think he can. But I think
- 15:08Speaker 1: the one scene we love, I don't know that he
- 15:11Speaker 1: can nail that scene. Tony Montana... Say hello to my
- 15:16Speaker 1: little friend. Yeah. Going out in a blaze of glory.
- 15:18Speaker 1: I don't care if I die.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Going big.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Going big. Yeah. Thousands of intruders. He had a certain
- 15:25Speaker 1: bravado that I don't know. Because like we were talking
- 15:29Speaker 1: about Robert De Niro's quiet intensity.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:32Speaker 1: That's what makes that movie to me. The rest of
- 15:34Speaker 1: Tony Montana, he can do, I believe. But that one
- 15:39Speaker 1: scene where he's got to be like, getting shot and stuff. Yeah.
- 15:45Speaker 1: I can't think of a time where Robert De Niro
- 15:47Speaker 1: has gone big like that in a film where you're
- 15:52Speaker 1: like Denzel at the end of Training Day.
- 15:55Speaker 3: There's a film where he went big. I don't know
- 15:58Speaker 3: if we want to save it for later or talk
- 15:59Speaker 3: about it now.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Talk about it now.
- 16:01Speaker 2: Cape Fear, he was big.
- 16:02Speaker 1: I ain't see Cape Fear.
- 16:03Speaker 2: This is what I was talking about.
- 16:04Speaker 1: You know, scary stuff ain't really me. It's not even
- 16:07Speaker 1: a scary movie. I thought it was. No. It got
- 16:10Speaker 1: fear in the title. It ain't called Cape Joy.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Cape Love.
- 16:14Speaker 3: He was big energy in that. Not in the same way,
- 16:17Speaker 3: but he was big energy.
- 16:18Speaker 2: He was.
- 16:19Speaker 1: But I know now that Max Cady is more manipulation
- 16:22Speaker 1: because I was watching Cape Fear on Apple TV. At
- 16:25Speaker 1: the time, I was scared, okay? Okay. You scared of
- 16:27Speaker 1: the dark? I'm scared of the light with movies.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Ha, ha, ha. Ha, ha, ha.
- 16:32Speaker 1: But based on that, you feel like, you think he
- 16:35Speaker 1: could do the Tony Montana big? Or that was just
- 16:37Speaker 1: big for him?
- 16:38Speaker 3: Okay, so I compare moments to, remember in Scarface, he
- 16:45Speaker 3: went off on those cats that were assigned to kill somebody.
- 16:49Speaker 3: And he was like, I'm not killing no women or
- 16:51Speaker 3: no kids. And he kind of erupts and goes off
- 16:53Speaker 3: and kills those cats. A similar comparison to that type
- 16:58Speaker 3: of moment would be like Robert De Niro- And Jackie Brown,
- 17:02Speaker 3: when he got fed up with Bridget Fonda, he was
- 17:08Speaker 3: just like, if you could just don't say another word
- 17:11Speaker 3: to me. Don't say shit else. He told her this
- 17:14Speaker 3: in the parking lot. Just shut your mouth.
- 17:19Speaker 2: But it was a quiet, like, he's always going to
- 17:21Speaker 2: make it more quiet. And then the rage is there.
- 17:24Speaker 2: For sure.
- 17:25Speaker 3: Al's going 10, Robert's going 5. Same rage, it's just like,
- 17:31Speaker 3: and then he just shot it right there.
- 17:34Speaker 1: See, I think Tony Baker, the actor, you probably would
- 17:37Speaker 1: mirror more Al Pacino. I mean, I'm sorry, Robert De
- 17:41Speaker 1: Niro than Al Pacino. Because you'd be pissed, but you
- 17:45Speaker 1: don't ever have to go... To the max.
- 17:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Like, when you mad, you ain't got to be like, ah,
- 17:52Speaker 1: I'm Tony Baker. Right, right, right. You be like, hey, man,
- 17:54Speaker 1: I ain't feeling that. Yeah. And that's not funny or
- 17:56Speaker 1: whatever the thing is. Yeah.
- 17:58Speaker 2: And apparently I have a look on my face.
- 18:01Speaker 1: For sure.
- 18:02Speaker 2: And then that. So I'm more in the room.
- 18:04Speaker 1: I'm trying to remember the time I seen you mad.
- 18:05Speaker 1: I was like, hey.
- 18:06Speaker 2: You saw me mad before?
- 18:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm trying to remember where we were.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Oh, we was on the road.
- 18:11Speaker 1: I wouldn't say mad, mad, but it was like. I'm
- 18:17Speaker 1: blanking on the thing. On the road? On the road.
- 18:20Speaker 1: But it wasn't fun, this moment.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Oh, snap. I don't know what that was.
- 18:25Speaker 1: I'm trying to think. Roads is good times. Roads is
- 18:27Speaker 1: good times. It wasn't. It was something.
- 18:30Speaker 2: External. Yeah. I wonder.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Or you might have been telling us about something that happened.
- 18:35Speaker 1: That's what I think it was. It wasn't something that
- 18:37Speaker 1: happened in our group. Yeah. But you were telling us, like, no,
- 18:39Speaker 1: I wasn't playing in X, Y, and Z. I was like, oh,
- 18:42Speaker 1: Nick Tony, like. Tony ain't playing, man. Because I hadn't
- 18:45Speaker 1: seen that side of you before that. But you weren't like,
- 18:51Speaker 1: I got to go to the— Tony Montana. You ain't
- 18:52Speaker 1: got to go to 11 to feel. It's like your
- 18:54Speaker 1: dad who don't yell, he never has to yell.
- 18:57Speaker 2: Right.
- 18:57Speaker 1: But if he's just like, all right, I done told you. Yeah.
- 19:00Speaker 1: You're like, all right, all right. Okay, okay, okay.
- 19:02Speaker 2: The bargain line, man.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Okay, okay, okay.
- 19:05Speaker 2: Because I can't see Robert De Niro in that kind of—
- 19:08Speaker 2: 10 role. Yeah. Because Tony Montana was just.
- 19:12Speaker 1: He was... He was... He was on 10. Almost cartoony. Yeah.
- 19:16Speaker 1: But I think that's why we love it.
- 19:17Speaker 2: For sure.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Like, he over... He was ridiculous. The whole scene is ridiculous. Yeah. Remember,
- 19:21Speaker 1: I was watching something. There was only supposed to be, like...
- 19:23Speaker 1: 10 people, six to 10 people. And the director's like, nah, man,
- 19:28Speaker 1: make it like a kung fu movie. And somebody was like, man,
- 19:31Speaker 1: watch out. Ain't nobody going to like that. He was like, man,
- 19:34Speaker 1: send 100 people. He was like, you wouldn't need no
- 19:36Speaker 1: 100 people. He's like, man, put 100 people in there
- 19:39Speaker 1: and listen. And then when the movie came out, everybody
- 19:42Speaker 1: liked that part. And the person who was like, all right, man,
- 19:44Speaker 1: I was tripping. And I think that's the most memorable
- 19:47Speaker 1: scene because it's outlandish.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Say hello to my little friend.
- 19:52Speaker 1: And they, Belly had it too.
- 19:54Speaker 2: They tried to replicate that.
- 19:55Speaker 1: The Jamaican dude.
- 19:56Speaker 2: The lighting was trash.
- 19:59Speaker 3: You know the difference between Scarface and Belly? We could
- 20:01Speaker 3: see what the hell was going on in Scarface. The
- 20:06Speaker 3: light was pitch black. How are we supposed to get
- 20:09Speaker 3: amped up and hyped? I get it from a strategy standpoint.
- 20:13Speaker 3: It's your house. Make it dark. Yeah, but as a viewer.
- 20:15Speaker 2: It works, but as a viewer, man.
- 20:17Speaker 1: What the hell am I looking at?
- 20:20Speaker 2: I just see an AK-47 shooting in the dark, and
- 20:23Speaker 2: then some Jamaican chick jumps off a high-ass balcony and
- 20:26Speaker 2: didn't break her ankles on the come down for the
- 20:30Speaker 2: throat cut.
- 20:32Speaker 1: I'm so tired of TV and movies doing that, man.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Game of Thrones might have been the worst offender ever.
- 20:39Speaker 1: The long night battle, man, it was like, man, this
- 20:42Speaker 1: is what I'm watching. I'm like, man, this is crazy. Oh, yeah.
- 20:45Speaker 1: I got the tea. I got to turn the lights
- 20:47Speaker 1: in my room off. Right. It don't show on the laptop, man.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Cut it up.
- 20:51Speaker 2: Cut it up, man.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Let's see. Cut it up. Let them fight at 3.30
- 20:54Speaker 1: Pacific Standard Time in June. We can't see nothing, man.
- 20:58Speaker 3: If you want to show us what they are seeing
- 21:01Speaker 3: and experiencing, do a quick.
- 21:04Speaker 2: POV shot of that.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like dunking eggs.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Like if they fight, boom, and then go back to
- 21:10Speaker 2: what we can see as the odds. Yes.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Pull out.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure.
- 21:14Speaker 1: All right. Who's up? Me or you?
- 21:17Speaker 2: You.
- 21:18Speaker 1: What up, y'all? It's your boy Kevin on stage. I
- 21:19Speaker 1: want to take a quick break from the show to

- 22:47Speaker 1: to the show.
- 22:48Speaker 2: All right.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Let me see. What did I say? Any given Sunday?
- 22:53Speaker 1: All right. Could Robert De Niro replace Al Pacino in
- 23:06Speaker 1: Scent of a Woman?
- 23:08Speaker 2: I've never seen it.
- 23:12Speaker 1: How?
- 23:13Speaker 2: I'm going to say no. I've never seen it.
- 23:16Speaker 3: I was pissed off that he won instead of Malcolm X,
- 23:20Speaker 3: so I ain't watched.
- 23:25Speaker 1: It.
- 23:25Speaker 2: I ain't watched it, Kev. This is for Malcolm. This
- 23:30Speaker 2: is for Denzel. I never watched it.
- 23:32Speaker 1: I'm never going to watch another Alan Arkin movie in
- 23:34Speaker 1: my life.
- 23:35Speaker 2: I never saw it, man.
- 23:38Speaker 1: I love Scent of a Woman. I hate his blindness.
- 23:43Speaker 2: Oh, you didn't buy the blind?
- 23:44Speaker 1: Oh, man. He was big. Him and Denzel play the
- 23:51Speaker 1: opposite terrible of blind. Denzel is not blind in Book
- 23:54Speaker 1: of Eli. He's just wearing glasses.
- 23:56Speaker 2: But he wasn't doing it big.
- 23:58Speaker 1: And Al Pacino was like, I'm blind! Hey-oh! I'm blind, y'all!
- 24:03Speaker 1: I was like, bro, have you ever seen a blind person?
- 24:06Speaker 2: And the Academy Award goes to.
- 24:10Speaker 1: And it made his eyes bigger. Okay. Blind, y'all! Ha! Ha-ha! Hoo-ah!
- 24:16Speaker 2: That's where the hoo-ah started, right? He started yelling in
- 24:21Speaker 2: every movie after a certain time. He started out so quiet.
- 24:26Speaker 3: He was like, y'all not going to typecast me as
- 24:28Speaker 3: quiet intensity. I'm going to be loud intensity from here
- 24:31Speaker 3: on out. I guess that's what the military, Marines said.
- 24:38Speaker 1: He was saying it unrelated to the Army.
- 24:40Speaker 2: He was just throwing it in there. I've never saw it, though.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 24:46Speaker 2: So, so, I'll pose the question back to you, then,
- 24:49Speaker 2: since you saw it. This is going to be a
- 24:52Speaker 2: lot of this, because I know you ain't seen a
- 24:54Speaker 2: lot of these movies, so this is going to go
- 24:55Speaker 2: back to the asker, because you're going to be watching stuff.
- 24:58Speaker 1: I'll be watching stuff. See, okay. he definitely ain't doing
- 25:10Speaker 1: all that who else stuff. So I'm like, in some ways,
- 25:14Speaker 1: that is what I like about the movie. Like, he
- 25:17Speaker 1: was doing the most. He was in the courtroom yelling, man.
- 25:20Speaker 1: He was just yelling. I think it's such a different movie.
- 25:25Speaker 1: I don't think it hits like that.
- 25:27Speaker 2: OK.
- 25:27Speaker 1: I feel like, you know, I thought they were much
- 25:30Speaker 1: closer in acting. I think their abilities are very similar,
- 25:34Speaker 1: but their approach is very different.
- 25:36Speaker 2: Very different.
- 25:37Speaker 1: I was like, Will and Denzel, I thought, were much
- 25:40Speaker 1: more different, and they actually are more similar than I
- 25:42Speaker 1: realized when we did this, that they could do, you know, more.
- 25:47Speaker 1: But I'm like, that is a very different movie. If
- 25:52Speaker 1: Robert De Niro, because he's not doing all that stuff,
- 25:54Speaker 1: and fortunately that's the part, that's the part I like.
- 25:59Speaker 1: I feel like it's such a different movie, and his
- 26:03Speaker 1: charisma and bigness is what makes me be like, That's
- 26:09Speaker 1: what makes the movie to me.
- 26:10Speaker 2: Okay.
- 26:10Speaker 1: Who's the scene partner?
- 26:13Speaker 2: Chris O'Donnell.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Chris? What happened to Chris?
- 26:15Speaker 3: He was at NCIS Los Angeles for like eight, nine
- 26:19Speaker 3: seasons with LL.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Oh, okay. He went to TV. I'm out.
- 26:22Speaker 1: Was he robbing?
- 26:23Speaker 2: He paid, though. Yeah, he was robbing.
- 26:25Speaker 1: Big pay. Yeah. NCIS be on TV. For sure. NCIS,
- 26:31Speaker 1: you go on the roll, you turn NCIS, Los Angeles,
- 26:35Speaker 1: New Orleans, with no New Orleans accent.
- 26:37Speaker 2: Right.
- 26:37Speaker 1: Them people in New Orleans are just like, yeah, man,
- 26:40Speaker 1: we're in New Orleans, jambalaya. Anyway, the bodies over here,
- 26:43Speaker 1: they like, they not trying to even.
- 26:45Speaker 2: There was no.
- 26:46Speaker 1: New Orleans accent. Bro, they not even saying nothing. Yeah.
- 26:49Speaker 1: And it's like, even the people, the locals, hey, man,
- 26:53Speaker 1: we're in New Orleans also. Black person talking like this.
- 26:56Speaker 1: No Fifth Ward, no Webby. No, not cold drink. I
- 27:02Speaker 1: would like a soda.
- 27:04Speaker 2: I wonder if movie actors, film actors that were in
- 27:08Speaker 2: film and then they go back to TV, network TV,
- 27:12Speaker 2: I wonder if they view it as like the cruise
- 27:15Speaker 2: ships of... You know how comedians be like, cruise ships, yo.
- 27:21Speaker 2: It's great money, you can make a great living on it,
- 27:23Speaker 2: but it's just like.
- 27:25Speaker 1: The network procedural drama.
- 27:28Speaker 2: Network now. I know they would love HBO. Oh, streaming.
- 27:31Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying?
- 27:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:32Speaker 1: Apple TV.
- 27:33Speaker 2: Networks.
- 27:34Speaker 1: NCIS Portland.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Your money going to be right, but I wonder if
- 27:38Speaker 2: they'd just be like, man, I want that movie star.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Because it's like NCIS, for example, CSI, man, they churn
- 27:46Speaker 1: out episodes. Yes. You know what I mean? Big bread.
- 27:50Speaker 1: But I think if you're a movie star, I think
- 27:52Speaker 1: what's alluring about that is is you get to transform
- 27:57Speaker 1: into all these characters.
- 27:58Speaker 2: Yeah, you get to be different people for a short
- 28:00Speaker 2: amount of time.
- 28:01Speaker 1: Yes. When you on NCIS, you the same guy. For
- 28:05Speaker 1: 400 episodes, you've been Detective Nick Conklin. The thing is,
- 28:14Speaker 1: it's also procedural. Yeah. So you're going to start the episode.
- 28:18Speaker 1: We got the crime. We got the body. We got
- 28:20Speaker 1: the hot whatever you're doing. Right. And that probably gets boring.
- 28:25Speaker 2: And you're going to wrap it up.
- 28:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 28:27Speaker 3: They might have one or two that last a few episodes.
- 28:30Speaker 3: They're going to wrap that shit up.
- 28:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 28:32Speaker 2: Great money, though. Your money is... set.
- 28:35Speaker 1: When you do the cruise ship, how many performances would
- 28:39Speaker 1: you get in a seven-day cruise? And how many different
- 28:41Speaker 1: sets would you do?
- 28:42Speaker 3: The cruise ships I was doing, let's say I'd be
- 28:44Speaker 3: on there for seven days. I was doing seven-day joints.
- 28:47Speaker 2: I'd probably do shows maybe four days out of seven.
- 28:50Speaker 2: And within that, it might be It might be one
- 28:54Speaker 2: day where I do two shows.
- 28:56Speaker 3: Like I do like a welcome aboard show and then
- 29:00Speaker 3: the big show and then the dirty show.
- 29:02Speaker 2: So it's like that. You got to have a different
- 29:05Speaker 2: set for each one.
- 29:06Speaker 1: So four shows, four sets?
- 29:09Speaker 2: Yeah, pretty much.
- 29:11Speaker 3: Yeah, it'd be like, you know, unless you do multiple dirties,
- 29:13Speaker 3: then you can kind of, but yeah, they'd be like,
- 29:16Speaker 3: we want a different. main show set, we want a
- 29:19Speaker 3: different clean. We want a different, a lot of times
- 29:22Speaker 3: the main show will be the clean.
- 29:24Speaker 1: So would you run that same three or four set
- 29:26Speaker 1: every time you did a cruise?
- 29:29Speaker 2: You know me, I'll be trying to throw other stuff
- 29:31Speaker 2: up in the mix.
- 29:32Speaker 1: Even though you got brand new people. Yeah. You'll just
- 29:35Speaker 1: be bored.
- 29:36Speaker 3: Me, I'll just be like, man, I'm throwing this in there.
- 29:39Speaker 3: Y'all gonna take it. it and y'all going to hush.
- 29:43Speaker 3: But if you stay on the cruise ship, some cats
- 29:44Speaker 3: be on the cruise ship three weeks out of the
- 29:46Speaker 3: four in the month. Or they might just stay at sea,
- 29:49Speaker 3: just a straight nine-month run.
- 29:50Speaker 1: This is good bread.
- 29:51Speaker 3: It's great bread. And so you can just really stack. Man,
- 29:55Speaker 3: it's cutting back on your living expenses.
- 29:57Speaker 2: For sure. Because you just.
- 29:58Speaker 1: You can't Uber Eats. You can't go to the movies.
- 30:00Speaker 1: You just paying for the Wi-Fi.
- 30:01Speaker 2: That's it.
- 30:02Speaker 1: Food free. Yep. You ain't buying no clothes.
- 30:04Speaker 2: Room and board is free. It's on the house.
- 30:06Speaker 1: The Wi-Fi, man.
- 30:07Speaker 2: You just stacking.
- 30:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:08Speaker 3: But man, my soul, though. Get me out of here.
- 30:15Speaker 3: Fuck ships. But I will go back to ships.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 30:20Speaker 3: When the road dries up, I'll be right on your
- 30:22Speaker 3: cruise line.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen.
- 30:24Speaker 2: What's up, y'all? Man, crew, man, that buffet. That buffet, y'all.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Man. That's what I told Angel. I said, if I
- 30:34Speaker 1: got to do meet and greets again, boy, you'll see me.
- 30:40Speaker 1: Like the girl from Obsession.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:43Speaker 1: I happy.
- 30:44Speaker 2: When she was waving to come home.
- 30:46Speaker 1: I pee. I doodoo. I love y'all. Before I have
- 30:50Speaker 1: to go back to Boeing. Yeah. Boy, seven nights, y'all.
- 30:54Speaker 2: Listen.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Kansas City.
- 30:56Speaker 2: Listen.
- 30:56Speaker 1: 12 people a night.
- 30:58Speaker 2: And be underneath that, the road, cruise ships.
- 31:02Speaker 1: Yeah. But crazy enough, making more on the cruise ships
- 31:04Speaker 1: than that. Yeah. Well, on the top end.
- 31:06Speaker 2: But man, my soul, though.
- 31:08Speaker 1: Soul on empty.
- 31:10Speaker 2: And I'm trapped. So it was just like.
- 31:12Speaker 1: And then also, you're cruising to the same thing, so
- 31:15Speaker 1: it ain't like... How many times do you go to
- 31:17Speaker 1: the fake version of Haiti? Right. Also, cruises, man, that
- 31:20Speaker 1: ain't really Haiti. Labadee Haiti... That's not real.
- 31:23Speaker 2: Oh, they got a cruise ship to go there?
- 31:25Speaker 1: Yeah. I looked up Labadee. The internet was like, this
- 31:28Speaker 1: ain't even nothing.
- 31:29Speaker 2: Oh, wow.
- 31:29Speaker 1: This is Florida. This is just only Royal Caribbean stuff.
- 31:32Speaker 1: This ain't really Haiti. When I was, I was all, man,
- 31:34Speaker 1: I've been to Haiti. People were like, bro, Labadee, Haiti
- 31:37Speaker 1: ain't real.
- 31:38Speaker 2: Trash.
- 31:39Speaker 1: Royal Caribbean just bought an island somewhere in the Caribbean
- 31:41Speaker 1: and was like, Haiti, y'all. All these built-in cabanas for
- 31:46Speaker 1: barbecue stuff ain't a Haitian item available.
- 31:49Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 31:50Speaker 1: Hot dogs. In Haiti, chicken tenders.
- 31:54Speaker 2: I've never even heard of this place.
- 31:55Speaker 1: Man, it's not real. It's got a water park. It's
- 31:58Speaker 1: all Royal Caribbean on, man. Labadee, Haiti is not Haiti.
- 32:02Speaker 1: I need to go to Port-au-Prince. Man. Had Haitian food
- 32:06Speaker 1: for the first time three months ago. Been to Haiti
- 32:09Speaker 1: three times in Royal Caribbean. All right, so Scent of
- 32:14Speaker 1: a Woman is too different for me with Bobby D. Okay.
- 32:18Speaker 1: I need Al Pacino.
- 32:19Speaker 2: That's a no.
- 32:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:21Speaker 2: There's been a lot of no's here. I ain't feeling it.
- 32:24Speaker 2: There's been a lot of no's here. I ain't feeling it.
- 32:26Speaker 1: All right, you're up.
- 32:28Speaker 2: Okay.
- 32:30Speaker 3: So could you see Robert De Niro in Donnie Brasco?
- 32:38Speaker 3: Robert De Niro as a Puerto Rican.
- 32:42Speaker 1: De Niro is Spanish. Give me one second.
- 32:50Speaker 2: Have you seen Carlito's Way?
- 32:52Speaker 1: I have seen Carlito's Way.
- 32:53Speaker 2: All right. I got to make sure, kid. I haven't
- 32:54Speaker 2: seen Donnie Brasco. Oh, that's right. Donnie Brasco. You haven't
- 32:57Speaker 2: seen Donnie Brasco?
- 32:58Speaker 1: I was thinking of Carlito's Way.
- 33:00Speaker 2: So you haven't seen Donnie Brasco? Nope.
- 33:03Speaker 1: That's the mob, dude. Right?
- 33:05Speaker 2: Johnny Depp is an undercover informant. Informant? And Al Pacino's
- 33:09Speaker 2: the mob guy.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Ain't seen it.
- 33:11Speaker 2: Oh, man.
- 33:11Speaker 1: Come on, kid. Tell me about it. I was like,
- 33:13Speaker 1: this is Carlito's Way. Yeah. It ain't Carlito's Way.
- 33:17Speaker 3: All right.
- 33:18Speaker 2: This is actually a movie where I could see Robert
- 33:21Speaker 2: De Niro playing that role, actually.
- 33:23Speaker 1: OK.
- 33:24Speaker 3: He was kind of a lower level mob guy, which
- 33:31Speaker 3: puts me in the mindset of how Robert De Niro
- 33:34Speaker 3: was in The Irishman.
- 33:36Speaker 1: Oh, The Irishman. Yeah.
- 33:37Speaker 2: Except he wasn't.
- 33:40Speaker 3: I mean, he did Dirt, you know, he put the
- 33:41Speaker 3: work in, but he was still more like, you know
- 33:44Speaker 3: what I'm saying? There were cats above, like Sonny Black
- 33:46Speaker 3: was the main cat in the other group, was played
- 33:49Speaker 3: by Michael Madsen. But I could see Robert De Niro
- 33:55Speaker 3: in that type of role, and what helps me see
- 33:57Speaker 3: that is his performance in The Irishman.
- 33:59Speaker 2: Like Following Orders.
- 34:01Speaker 1: Jimmy Hoffa joins the first half of the movie. You
- 34:05Speaker 1: say before? Before Al Pacino joined.
- 34:07Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, working under Buffalino.
- 34:10Speaker 3: Like Joe Pesci's character and that. Just following orders and,
- 34:14Speaker 3: you know, giving tips to the new kid, which is
- 34:17Speaker 3: Johnny Depp.
- 34:18Speaker 2: I can see Robert De Niro in that role. Okay.
- 34:21Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't know how I miss Donnie Brasco.
- 34:23Speaker 2: I don't know how you miss it either.
- 34:24Speaker 1: Donnie Brasco, 97? It's good, too. I'm going to have
- 34:27Speaker 1: to watch it with the Patreon.
- 34:28Speaker 2: Yeah, it's good. Yeah, but I can see Robert De
- 34:32Speaker 2: Niro in that role for sure.
- 34:34Speaker 1: Yeah, 97. I missed it. I was 14.
- 34:37Speaker 2: Made 40-something million at the box office.
- 34:39Speaker 1: I ain't have it. My aunt didn't have it on VHS.
- 34:42Speaker 2: Yeah, it's good, though. Okay. All right.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Moving on. Could you see... Am I doing Al Pacino? No,
- 34:52Speaker 1: Robert De Niro. What would you just do?
- 34:54Speaker 2: I just did, could you see Robert De Niro in
- 34:57Speaker 2: the Al role?
- 34:58Speaker 1: Okay. So could you see Al Pacino... Could you see
- 35:08Speaker 1: Al Pacino in Meet the Parents? As the overprotective father? No.
- 35:20Speaker 1: Robert De Niro was really funny to me in that role.
- 35:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I couldn't see Al Pacino in it. He would
- 35:25Speaker 2: just be too.
- 35:26Speaker 1: The intensity works against him.
- 35:27Speaker 3: That warmth, man, is going to come through. Al Pacino's
- 35:31Speaker 3: He has a warmth to him, man. Him being rough
- 35:37Speaker 3: on Ben Stiller, I can't see it the same. I
- 35:42Speaker 3: can't see it hitting the same.
- 35:44Speaker 1: He going to be... He, Robert De Niro's quiet intimidation
- 35:49Speaker 1: is what makes that funny. Yes. If you're just like me,
- 35:52Speaker 1: it's not funny. Right. It's intimidating, but it's not an
- 35:56Speaker 1: intimidating movie. Right. Him being just letting his quiet demeanor
- 36:01Speaker 1: lets Ben Stiller dig his grave so much more. Yeah. Right?
- 36:06Speaker 1: Jinxy cat. Yeah. Spray tanning, all that. The lie detector test.
- 36:11Speaker 1: It's the quiet intimidation that's making all that. funny right
- 36:16Speaker 1: you're just mean and it's gonna be like all right
- 36:19Speaker 1: man i'm gone.
- 36:19Speaker 2: Al pacino hasn't been quiet since godfather.
- 36:24Speaker 1: Yeah miles said pacino go too hard i think that's
- 36:28Speaker 1: just gonna make it not funny yeah it's just like.
- 36:31Speaker 2: That's a completely different movie.
- 36:33Speaker 1: Yes.
- 36:34Speaker 2: But I feel like it wouldn't work as well.
- 36:36Speaker 1: Not in a good way. It's just like, all right, man.
- 36:39Speaker 1: And that was everybody. Melissa's parents, man. Oh, my God.
- 36:45Speaker 1: They think that's the funniest movie ever. We used to
- 36:49Speaker 1: watch that at her house in high school. Mary Marshall
- 36:53Speaker 1: was like, what y'all doing, man? Meet the parents. Just
- 36:59Speaker 1: loved it. And it was funny, but it was just like, man.
- 37:02Speaker 2: Cut it off.
- 37:03Speaker 1: Cut it off. I got nipples, Greg. Could you milk me?
- 37:08Speaker 1: Greg's a male nurse. She thought that. Greg's a male nurse. Yeah. Man.
- 37:14Speaker 1: She was like, that's comedy, y'all.
- 37:19Speaker 2: When you think of comedy, look no further than this here.
- 37:22Speaker 2: I'm glad y'all here.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Yeah, Circle of Trust. Oh, my God.
- 37:25Speaker 2: Circle of Trust.
- 37:26Speaker 1: My pastor, Kev, is not in the Circle of Trust.
- 37:31Speaker 1: I was like, all right, man. All right. I don't
- 37:35Speaker 1: know about Meet the Parents, y'all. It's funny, but they
- 37:38Speaker 1: just was like, man, Meet the Parents in Medea, they
- 37:41Speaker 1: was like, I don't need nothing else. Meet the parents
- 37:44Speaker 1: of Madea, man. I thought that was just so funny.
- 37:47Speaker 1: That's what makes life worth living. Man, Jinxy Cat, huh?
- 37:51Speaker 1: So yeah, no, I think I agree with you. I
- 37:52Speaker 1: feel like that's just not even funny now. Yeah. It
- 37:56Speaker 1: would need to be like a horror film. It would just,
- 37:59Speaker 1: I'll just be doing too much for it to work.
- 38:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:02Speaker 1: All right, you're up, man.
- 38:03Speaker 2: So I'm going to go, since you fumbled earlier, I'm
- 38:05Speaker 2: going to go with Carlitos Way. Could you see Robert
- 38:09Speaker 2: De Niro in Carlitos Way? Carlitos. I love Carlitos. I
- 38:13Speaker 2: love that movie, too. I like it better than Scarface.
- 38:16Speaker 1: Really? I do. Because it's more grounded?
- 38:18Speaker 2: Yeah. And.
- 38:21Speaker 1: Every time I see a dark alley, I think of
- 38:22Speaker 1: Carlitos Way.
- 38:23Speaker 2: Carlitos Way, man. It's something... I like Scarface, too, but
- 38:26Speaker 2: I really... It's something about Carlitos Way that I prefer.
- 38:31Speaker 1: You like it better than Scarface?
- 38:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:34Speaker 1: Yep.
- 38:34Speaker 2: I love them both, but if I had to pick one,
- 38:37Speaker 2: it's just... carlito's way.
- 38:40Speaker 3: And carlito's way to me has one of the best
- 38:42Speaker 3: endings yeah i gotta put the ending even though you
- 38:46Speaker 3: know say hello to my little friend it was still
- 38:48Speaker 3: mad ridiculous and entertaining and over the top and like
- 38:51Speaker 3: a young little kid tony would be like man yeah
- 38:54Speaker 3: tony montana went out but like the the tension and
- 38:59Speaker 3: the edge of your seatness of carlito's way ending yeah
- 39:03Speaker 3: way better than.
- 39:03Speaker 1: Me i remember carlito's way The ending being like, man,
- 39:08Speaker 1: that was good.
- 39:08Speaker 3: Him navigating through the Grand Central Station, boy, I was,
- 39:12Speaker 3: booty cheeks was clenched.
- 39:14Speaker 1: John Leguizamo is good in that.
- 39:16Speaker 2: He's great in that.
- 39:17Speaker 1: John Leguizamo is good in so many different.
- 39:21Speaker 2: You talk about range.
- 39:22Speaker 1: He got, I feel like we don't.
- 39:24Speaker 2: He got more range than Daniel day lewis.
- 39:27Speaker 1: Easy easy odyssey odyssey yeah he's my favorite performance i
- 39:34Speaker 1: think i honestly no funny stuff i hope he wins
- 39:37Speaker 1: the oscar me too supporting i want him to get
- 39:39Speaker 1: the supporting nobody obviously i've seen dune or.
- 39:43Speaker 2: Um yeah uh They haven't gotten to the Oscar bait
- 39:48Speaker 2: movies yet.
- 39:49Speaker 1: I don't be watching all those pieces of crap.
- 39:51Speaker 3: Yeah, a lot of times they be boring as hell.
- 39:53Speaker 3: But I would love for him.
- 39:55Speaker 1: I feel like Pacino was more muted in Carlito's way.
- 39:58Speaker 2: He was chill in that movie.
- 40:00Speaker 1: I feel like Robert De Niro.
- 40:01Speaker 2: He didn't go big in that movie.
- 40:02Speaker 1: He didn't go big in that.
- 40:04Speaker 2: He would have moments of it.
- 40:05Speaker 3: It was bigger than The Godfather, of course, because he
- 40:08Speaker 3: had to represent himself in court a little bit.
- 40:10Speaker 2: He had those moments of just like.
- 40:13Speaker 3: He would try to distract and charm people out of killing.
- 40:16Speaker 2: Him or going to jail.
- 40:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:18Speaker 2: Or I got to win them over in the court.
- 40:20Speaker 2: But off those moments where he has to go bigger,
- 40:26Speaker 2: he was a bit more chill. Not super chill, but.
- 40:29Speaker 1: But chill enough that I think Robert De Niro could
- 40:32Speaker 1: do it. Yeah. I feel like... And it's a more
- 40:35Speaker 1: grounded thing, and I think Robert De Niro excels.
- 40:38Speaker 2: Oh, he's grounded McGee.
- 40:39Speaker 1: That's why I think casino... Casino works. I love Casino
- 40:46Speaker 1: and Goodfellas, but Casino was like, I feel like this
- 40:50Speaker 1: is very close to what it was like to be
- 40:53Speaker 1: in the mob for real. Or building out Vegas. Like, it's...
- 40:58Speaker 1: Because you had.
- 40:58Speaker 2: The answer to the mob higher-ups in Vegas.
- 41:02Speaker 1: For sure.
- 41:03Speaker 3: They had avatars out there in Vegas holding it down,
- 41:06Speaker 3: doing the day-to-day.
- 41:07Speaker 1: Right.
- 41:08Speaker 2: But they was putting the money up. And if you
- 41:09Speaker 2: fuck that money up.
- 41:10Speaker 1: That horse's head is in there. And they in New
- 41:13Speaker 1: York and Jersey. They got the white dude, big glasses,
- 41:17Speaker 1: running it.
- 41:18Speaker 2: That's why they killed, what's his name in real life? No, no, no, Bugsy.
- 41:23Speaker 2: Bugsy Siegel in real life.
- 41:25Speaker 1: Oh, in real life. Yeah, yeah.
- 41:26Speaker 2: They was just like, yo, you fucked the money up.
- 41:28Speaker 1: Right, and they not playing. They not playing.
- 41:31Speaker 2: Even though they could have gave them a little bit
- 41:32Speaker 2: more time and grace because Vegas did end up being
- 41:35Speaker 2: a success.
- 41:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 41:36Speaker 2: They was just like, but you got to go.
- 41:38Speaker 1: There's no patience. That's why I don't want to be
- 41:40Speaker 1: in the drug game. Either way, you're too good, jealousy
- 41:44Speaker 1: kill you. You're too bad, you're making the bread, kill you.
- 41:48Speaker 1: You're too old.
- 41:49Speaker 2: Pressure's on.
- 41:51Speaker 1: We need new blood.
- 41:51Speaker 2: It's nothing personal.
- 41:52Speaker 1: Too young, too ambitious.
- 41:54Speaker 2: It's nothing personal, man.
- 41:55Speaker 1: How do you even feel?
- 41:56Speaker 2: We don't know if you're going to talk or not.
- 41:58Speaker 1: Man.
- 41:59Speaker 2: You in the car, man.
- 42:00Speaker 1: Where we going, man?
- 42:00Speaker 2: I love it.
- 42:03Speaker 1: Joe Pesci's face in Goodfellas. He walks into that door.
- 42:06Speaker 1: He was like.
- 42:08Speaker 2: Oh.
- 42:08Speaker 1: The way his face was. He knew.
- 42:11Speaker 2: Soon as he walked in.
- 42:12Speaker 3: Oh.
- 42:12Speaker 2: They didn't even let him finish the oh part. Oh.
- 42:17Speaker 1: Little slow, little late, Miles Davis. That line in the wire. Oh, yeah.
- 42:22Speaker 1: How you can't be either a little slower or a
- 42:24Speaker 1: little late? How you never going to be slow? Yeah.
- 42:27Speaker 1: Or late?
- 42:27Speaker 2: Never going to be late.
- 42:28Speaker 1: Booty chink. Booty chink's clean. So, yes, I think Robert
- 42:30Speaker 1: De Niro can replace Al and Carlito's way. I think
- 42:33Speaker 1: it's still good. Okay.
- 42:34Speaker 2: Yeah. Bet that.
- 42:35Speaker 1: All right. You're up, man.
- 42:37Speaker 2: Am I?
- 42:38Speaker 1: Oh, no, that's me.
- 42:39Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 42:40Speaker 1: You said Carlito's way.
- 42:41Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 42:45Speaker 1: Could Al Pacino replace Robert De Niro in a Bronx tale?
- 42:51Speaker 2: Ooh.
- 42:51Speaker 1: Terrell Hicks.
- 42:54Speaker 2: Yes.
- 42:55Speaker 1: You think so? Yep.
- 42:56Speaker 3: I could see Al Pacino as an honest bus driver,
- 42:59Speaker 3: working man, trying to keep his son out of that life,
- 43:03Speaker 3: out of hanging with that type of crowd.
- 43:05Speaker 2: I could definitely see that.
- 43:06Speaker 1: And you know what?
- 43:07Speaker 2: Excuse me.
- 43:09Speaker 1: Robert had to turn up a few times.
- 43:11Speaker 2: He did.
- 43:11Speaker 1: Because Chaz Palminteri's character was like, you weren't going... slide
- 43:18Speaker 1: by and get what you want. Yeah. He had to
- 43:20Speaker 1: tell them, nah, man, this is my son. Yes. No disrespect.
- 43:24Speaker 2: I respect you, but this is my son, bro.
- 43:26Speaker 1: He always came. Yeah. No disrespect to you or what
- 43:29Speaker 1: y'all doing. Right. Stop talking to him. Yeah.
- 43:32Speaker 2: He didn't let him know, man.
- 43:33Speaker 1: Hey, he was like, you willing to die for that? Yeah. Basically. Yeah.
- 43:37Speaker 1: Because Chaz Momentary was killing people.
- 43:38Speaker 2: He was.
- 43:39Speaker 1: They locked the door on the bikers. The bikers thought
- 43:42Speaker 1: it was sweet out here.
- 43:43Speaker 2: They thought it was big sweet. I'm sure them bikers been.
- 43:46Speaker 3: wrecking hell all across America, just punking and slapping the
- 43:50Speaker 3: shit out of the people.
- 43:51Speaker 2: They just came across the wrong establishment.
- 43:54Speaker 1: Can you imagine thinking you have the upper hand, and
- 43:57Speaker 1: the person you have the upper hand on goes and
- 43:59Speaker 1: locks the door?
- 44:00Speaker 2: Now yous can't leave.
- 44:02Speaker 1: Now I have poorly misunderstood the situation. The dude looked
- 44:08Speaker 1: at him, locked the door. He was like, hey, wait. No,
- 44:12Speaker 1: we scare you.
- 44:13Speaker 3: No, no, you can't leave now. We gave you an opportunity.
- 44:16Speaker 3: We led with respect.
- 44:17Speaker 1: It's over with now.
- 44:18Speaker 2: It's done.
- 44:19Speaker 1: And we kicking your bikes over, too. We will do this.
- 44:23Speaker 1: Now yous can't leave.
- 44:25Speaker 2: Now yous can't leave. We tried, bro.
- 44:28Speaker 1: We did.
- 44:30Speaker 3: And what I liked about Chaz Palminterio's character, even though
- 44:34Speaker 3: Robert De Niro was a civilian, you could tell he
- 44:37Speaker 3: respected him.
- 44:38Speaker 1: For sure.
- 44:39Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying? He's not going to take
- 44:40Speaker 2: no disrespect, but you could tell he respected him because
- 44:43Speaker 2: he was a father.
- 44:43Speaker 1: As much as you can.
- 44:45Speaker 2: Right.
- 44:45Speaker 1: In that position. Yeah. You know.
- 44:48Speaker 3: They had, the mob guys had to respect where Robert
- 44:51Speaker 3: De Niro was coming from.
- 44:53Speaker 1: And mob people respect civilians.
- 44:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:55Speaker 1: Right. And he was, as long as you're not disrespectful. Right.
- 44:57Speaker 1: He wasn't like calling the police and stuff. He was
- 44:59Speaker 1: just like, bro, I feel y'all. Yeah. Y'all got to
- 45:01Speaker 1: get it how you live. But. But man.
- 45:03Speaker 2: This is my son, man. This is my son, man.
- 45:05Speaker 1: Let me just drive the bus and leave him alone.
- 45:07Speaker 2: Watch out, man. I can see Al Pacino in that role, though.
- 45:10Speaker 1: Yeah. I think his turned up mis- his Carlito Way bass. Yeah. Lil' Hua.
- 45:17Speaker 1: When you got to step to Chaz Palminteri.
- 45:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 45:21Speaker 1: What's his name? Sonny? What was Chaz Palminteri's character's name?
- 45:24Speaker 2: Sonny.
- 45:25Speaker 1: Sonny.
- 45:25Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 45:25Speaker 1: You got to step to him a little bit. Otherwise,
- 45:28Speaker 1: he is taking your son.
- 45:29Speaker 2: Right.
- 45:30Speaker 1: Like, you got to... borderline disrespect to him you gotta
- 45:36Speaker 1: stand up to him you gotta stand up to him 1000%
- 45:38Speaker 1: you gotta stand up to him or your son is
- 45:40Speaker 1: in the mob.
- 45:41Speaker 3: Cause his son was disrespecting his dad on account of
- 45:44Speaker 3: them absolutely so yeah we gotta have a conversation.
- 45:48Speaker 1: Oh this is good next time do Tom Hanks vs
- 45:49Speaker 1: Leonardo DiCaprio I love it we can do that next
- 45:51Speaker 1: week I love it I might see Wiley alright.
- 45:54Speaker 2: You up okay so could you see gotta make sure
- 45:59Speaker 2: you seen stuff I know you ain't seen this movie.
- 46:03Speaker 1: What I ain't seen?
- 46:04Speaker 2: Bless America, man.
- 46:05Speaker 1: What I ain't seen?
- 46:07Speaker 2: I know you ain't seen The Devil's Advocate.
- 46:10Speaker 1: Is that the angel?
- 46:11Speaker 2: No, it's the devil.
- 46:15Speaker 1: What's The Devil's Advocate about?
- 46:18Speaker 3: Keanu Reeves goes to work for this law firm, and
- 46:21Speaker 3: the head of the law firm is Al Pacino, who is?
- 46:24Speaker 1: Who's the devil?
- 46:25Speaker 2: The devil.
- 46:26Speaker 1: I have seen this.
- 46:26Speaker 2: You saw it?
- 46:27Speaker 1: I saw it. I saw it one time.
- 46:29Speaker 2: Okay. In 1997. Okay.
- 46:29Speaker 1: I don't remember a thing. I remember thinking that Al
- 46:34Speaker 1: Pacino was terrifying as the devil and very believable, though.
- 46:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 46:38Speaker 1: And he was not... He was... He was like... One
- 46:43Speaker 1: of them scenes, he was like full on like.
- 46:45Speaker 2: He turned it up.
- 46:46Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. He was quiet a lot, but then he flipped.
- 46:51Speaker 2: He was charming. He was charming as the devil, though.
- 46:55Speaker 1: Yes.
- 46:57Speaker 2: Because you got to lure the kid in.
- 47:00Speaker 1: Yes. Yes. Man, that movie. I was 14 at that time.
- 47:05Speaker 2: And here's the thing. Both Robert De Niro and Al
- 47:09Speaker 2: Pacino have played the devil before.
- 47:11Speaker 1: When did Al?
- 47:12Speaker 3: Al was the devil in this movie called Angel Heart,
- 47:15Speaker 3: which I know you haven't seen. Matter of fact, it
- 47:19Speaker 3: was the movie that caused the rift between Bill Cosby
- 47:22Speaker 3: and Lisa Bonet because Lisa Bonet is in this movie
- 47:24Speaker 3: and there's a nude scene, like sex scene.
- 47:26Speaker 2: It's very rated R. He didn't want her to do
- 47:29Speaker 2: the film.
- 47:29Speaker 1: Was she on the Cosby show at the time?
- 47:30Speaker 2: She was on the Cosby show at the time.
- 47:32Speaker 1: Is this why she left?
- 47:33Speaker 2: I think it was a big reason, too, why she left.
- 47:36Speaker 2: Left a different world?
- 47:36Speaker 3: It definitely created a rift because a Cosby kid in
- 47:41Speaker 3: this type of film, because this is very gritty and R-rated,
- 47:44Speaker 3: and she.
- 47:45Speaker 2: Was nude in there.
- 47:45Speaker 1: Was this the time that he was doing sexual crimes?
- 47:47Speaker 3: I'm sure he was doing sexual crimes before this.
- 47:51Speaker 1: Big sexual crimes McGee. You know what I'm saying? He
- 47:53Speaker 1: was like Jell-O in sexual crimes. Right.
- 47:56Speaker 2: But Robert De Niro played the devil, though. But his
- 48:01Speaker 2: devil was way more intimidating. Than Al Pacino?
- 48:05Speaker 1: Yeah. In Devil's Advocate? Mm-hmm.
- 48:08Speaker 2: But it's also a different kind of movie, though.
- 48:11Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Those scenes where he... It's the turn up.
- 48:23Speaker 1: You know what I'm realizing? I mean, obviously, this is
- 48:27Speaker 1: casting and writing and all that stuff. They pick movies
- 48:31Speaker 1: that play to what they do well, and they do
- 48:34Speaker 1: that thing. Yeah. I'm trying to realize, do I think
- 48:39Speaker 1: Al Pacino and Robert De Niro have played a wide
- 48:42Speaker 1: range of characters? Because I feel like in a lot
- 48:45Speaker 1: of these movies, there's not a huge difference between in approach,
- 48:51Speaker 1: which is like movie star thing. I'm not even saying
- 48:53Speaker 1: this is a negative. To be a true movie star.
- 48:56Speaker 3: You got to be able to play a similar thing
- 48:59Speaker 3: that we know you for this.
- 49:01Speaker 1: I think Robert De Niro has done it in, or
- 49:05Speaker 1: maybe they both have, in a variety of movies, but
- 49:08Speaker 1: they've also done, analyze this, meet the parents, are not
- 49:14Speaker 1: that different. You know, Robert De Niro is a mob guy,
- 49:18Speaker 1: he's more scary, but he's like if Robert De Niro's
- 49:21Speaker 1: character was still in the CIA, I feel like that's
- 49:22Speaker 1: his character in Analyze This. But now he's retired. So
- 49:26Speaker 1: if Analyze This guy retired from the mob, I think
- 49:30Speaker 1: that could also be Robert De Niro, Meet the Parents.
- 49:32Speaker 2: I don't see them two alike.
- 49:33Speaker 1: You don't think so? Nah. You don't think so?
- 49:37Speaker 2: Meet the parents, Robert De Niro, analyze this?
- 49:39Speaker 1: Well, see, I'm saying that different timelines.
- 49:42Speaker 2: Even like a CIA person, they just got to.
- 49:48Speaker 1: Are you watching Lioness?
- 49:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I've seen the first season.
- 49:52Speaker 1: So you know the white dude who's... I think his
- 49:54Speaker 1: name is Michael Fleming. He's always that evil political guy
- 49:58Speaker 1: and stuff. Yeah. I don't remember his name in Lioness,
- 50:01Speaker 1: but he's Joe's direct boss. Uh-huh. I feel like Robert
- 50:05Speaker 1: De Niro is that guy in the CIA. He's yelling.
- 50:10Speaker 1: He's making sure people are dying. He's standing up to
- 50:13Speaker 1: Morgan Freeman and the Secretary of Defense team. That's what
- 50:18Speaker 1: I feel like Robert De Niro's character was in the CIA.
- 50:20Speaker 1: I guess he could just be an analyst. It was CSI.
- 50:23Speaker 3: CIA people, a lot of them, they have different roles.
- 50:28Speaker 3: I always see CIA people, and this is just me,
- 50:30Speaker 3: as like.
- 50:33Speaker 3: They got to be able to blend in, be covert, be,
- 50:37Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying, kind of like how Jeffrey
- 50:40Speaker 3: Wright's character is in James Bond.
- 50:44Speaker 1: Really? Yeah.
- 50:45Speaker 3: So I see Robert De Niro's character as more of
- 50:48Speaker 3: a Jeffrey Wright more so than a loud type in
- 50:52Speaker 3: the CIA.
- 50:56Speaker 1: Okay. I see CIA as like, I'm blanking on the name,
- 51:02Speaker 1: John Krasinski and Oh, Jack Ryan? Jack Ryan. Yeah. And
- 51:06Speaker 1: Wendell Pierce.
- 51:08Speaker 2: Even Jack Ryan is not allowed. You know what I'm saying?
- 51:10Speaker 1: Well, he's the analyst. Yeah, he's the analyst. I do
- 51:14Speaker 1: not like him in that role. And I know.
- 51:19Speaker 3: But, like, you know, Jack Ryan and Harrison Ford is
- 51:21Speaker 3: a CIA agent. They're not, like, I don't see them as, like, loud,
- 51:25Speaker 3: take charge, kick the door in.
- 51:27Speaker 2: They're more of, like, CIA. You think of CIA guys and, like,
- 51:31Speaker 2: even Judas and the Black Messiah.
- 51:33Speaker 3: I think the evil Matt Damon with CIA and just like,
- 51:37Speaker 3: they just be like quiet, charming.
- 51:39Speaker 2: You need to do this. So like even Teddy and, uh,
- 51:43Speaker 2: Teddy and snowfall.
- 51:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 51:45Speaker 2: He wasn't, he wasn't very loud.
- 51:47Speaker 1: They're very, I guess if you're the analyst or the
- 51:50Speaker 1: intelligence side, they are like that. The field agents are
- 51:52Speaker 1: a little bit.
- 51:53Speaker 2: They got to do all kinds of stuff.
- 51:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 51:56Speaker 3: You think about a Leonardo DiCaprio and like a body
- 51:59Speaker 3: of lies or something like that.
- 52:01Speaker 2: Where they're just trying to survive, but also they're in
- 52:04Speaker 2: the field.
- 52:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 52:05Speaker 2: How did we get here?
- 52:10Speaker 1: What movie were we talking about?
- 52:11Speaker 2: Devil's Advocate.
- 52:12Speaker 1: Devil's Advocate, yeah.
- 52:13Speaker 2: We trailed off.
- 52:14Speaker 1: Big trail. That's the whole point of the pod.
- 52:17Speaker 2: Could you see Robert De Niro in The Devil's Advocate?
- 52:23Speaker 1: What I was, I was saying, it's the moment that
- 52:26Speaker 1: Pacino turns up that I'm losing it. And I think
- 52:28Speaker 1: that's the part that makes that. That's how he said it.
- 52:30Speaker 1: We got there. Because I was like, De Niro, Pacino
- 52:33Speaker 1: is doing that thing in all these different movies. And
- 52:36Speaker 1: so is De Niro. So the reason I'm feeling like
- 52:38Speaker 1: he can't feels like the same reason every time. Because
- 52:42Speaker 1: they always seem to have, if they have that scene,
- 52:44Speaker 1: that's the reason you hire Pacino. It's what makes you
- 52:47Speaker 1: feel like Robert De Niro can't do it.
- 52:49Speaker 2: I think Robert De Niro could do this one.
- 52:52Speaker 1: It's the end when the devil is mad. I don't
- 52:55Speaker 1: I don't have my frame of reference for Robert De
- 52:57Speaker 1: Niro turning up I don't have that one that much.
- 53:00Speaker 3: Here's because I feel like in that moment where he
- 53:03Speaker 3: has to reveal his true self Then we go into
- 53:06Speaker 3: Cape Fear Robert De Niro would see that I'm messing
- 53:09Speaker 3: up Yeah, Cape Fear Robert De Niro Robert De Niro
- 53:12Speaker 3: in the movie The Fan and Oh!
- 53:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 53:16Speaker 1: Okay, now that's a good point. Yeah. That was a
- 53:20Speaker 1: crazy version of Robert De Niro, and he was turned
- 53:22Speaker 1: up a little bit.
- 53:23Speaker 3: Yeah, so I know he has that dial where he
- 53:25Speaker 3: can turn it up at the very end.
- 53:27Speaker 1: Okay, I hadn't thought about the fan. Yeah. That was
- 53:30Speaker 1: a scary Robert De Niro, and he was not that.
- 53:32Speaker 2: It was. And I felt kind of sorry for him
- 53:34Speaker 2: at times, too.
- 53:34Speaker 1: Me, too.
- 53:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 53:36Speaker 1: Even though he is very easily.
- 53:38Speaker 2: Doing way too much.
- 53:40Speaker 1: But like.
- 53:41Speaker 2: But there was something underneath it. He was like, there
- 53:43Speaker 2: was a desperation.
- 53:44Speaker 1: To be seen or like appreciated maybe by these people
- 53:48Speaker 1: he idolized. Yeah. And if you ain't going to give
- 53:49Speaker 1: it to me, then I got to kill you now. Yeah.
- 53:52Speaker 1: Because all you. What, he just wanted like an autograph
- 53:55Speaker 1: or something? He just.
- 53:57Speaker 2: I forget how it snowballed.
- 54:00Speaker 1: But they wasn't really, they was like, man, watch out.
- 54:02Speaker 1: And he was like, all right.
- 54:04Speaker 2: Yeah, it was like a snowball effect. Everything kept happening.
- 54:06Speaker 1: And he was turned to the max at the end
- 54:07Speaker 1: of that movie. He was.
- 54:08Speaker 2: He turned it up.
- 54:09Speaker 1: He was turned. Okay, now I might be with you.
- 54:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 54:14Speaker 1: Because I ain't seen Cape Fear.
- 54:15Speaker 2: Watch Cape Fear, though.
- 54:16Speaker 1: And also Raging Bull, he was big.
- 54:19Speaker 2: He was volatile, kind of unstable.
- 54:21Speaker 1: Volatile is the word. Yeah, yeah. Okay. Okay.
- 54:26Speaker 2: So, yeah, I can see Robert in Devil's Advocate. Okay.
- 54:29Speaker 1: Okay.
- 54:30Speaker 2: Okay, then.
- 54:30Speaker 1: Fine. Fine. Fine. It's me?
- 54:37Speaker 2: Yeah. All right.
- 54:39Speaker 1: Could you see Al Pacino in Goodfellas?
- 54:49Speaker 2: That's one of my favorite movies, man.
- 54:53Speaker 1: Favorite Robert De Niro roles. Supremely cast. Henry Hill.
- 55:01Speaker 2: I could, actually.
- 55:05Speaker 1: Wasn't he Jimmy? Yeah, he was Jimmy.
- 55:07Speaker 3: I could see Al Pacino in Goodfellas. Because Jimmy, the
- 55:13Speaker 3: hothead in that.
- 55:14Speaker 2: Movie, was Joe Pesci.
- 55:16Speaker 1: Joe Pesci.
- 55:17Speaker 2: Oh, my.
- 55:18Speaker 3: Jimmy had that fuse too, but he was more chill
- 55:22Speaker 3: with it.
- 55:22Speaker 1: And he had to be because of Joe Pesci. Right.
- 55:25Speaker 1: And he had to keep things together. Yeah. That was
- 55:27Speaker 1: like his role.
- 55:30Speaker 2: But when it was time to turn up.
- 55:32Speaker 1: For sure.
- 55:33Speaker 2: He would do it.
- 55:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 55:34Speaker 3: Similar to Al Pacino when he had to turn up and,
- 55:38Speaker 3: you know, the Godfather, whatever, or Carlito's way.
- 55:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 55:41Speaker 2: He would do it.
- 55:42Speaker 3: And so, but a lot of times he was chill.
- 55:47Speaker 3: And I know we like Al Pacino can't be chill,
- 55:49Speaker 3: but he can be chill.
- 55:51Speaker 1: Yeah. I just think he's not best when he can't
- 55:54Speaker 1: turn that dial up. Yeah. I think that's just what
- 55:57Speaker 1: you sign up for with him.
- 55:59Speaker 2: But I do feel like.
- 56:04Speaker 3: I could see him smoothing some stuff over more so
- 56:07Speaker 3: than I can with Robert De Niro, even though he's
- 56:10Speaker 3: not as intimidating as Robert De Niro is.
- 56:13Speaker 1: Somebody said, but he ain't, Miles said he ain't tearing
- 56:16Speaker 1: up the phone booth. Remember that scene where he beat
- 56:19Speaker 1: up the phone booth?
- 56:19Speaker 2: Yeah, when he found out Joe Pesci died, he tore
- 56:22Speaker 2: that phone booth up.
- 56:25Speaker 1: I feel like he was mad at Joe Pesci. Because
- 56:28Speaker 1: he was trying to tell him, but he just wasn't listening.
- 56:31Speaker 2: And that fucked everything up.
- 56:33Speaker 3: Because Joe Pesci was Jimmy's way in.
- 56:36Speaker 2: Like, once Joe Pesci was... was to get made.
- 56:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 56:40Speaker 2: Now Jimmy, because Jimmy was, he wasn't Italian. Right. So
- 56:44Speaker 2: he had no shot at coming into the upper tier.
- 56:46Speaker 1: For sure.
- 56:47Speaker 2: Now, you got Joe Pesci's character in the upper tier.
- 56:50Speaker 1: Now we, now we cooking with grease, kids.
- 56:53Speaker 2: We cooking with grease. And now you find out, he dead, bro.
- 56:57Speaker 2: You're way into the A tier.
- 56:59Speaker 1: It's gone. It's gone.
- 57:02Speaker 3: You find that out in the phone booth, you ain't
- 57:04Speaker 3: tearing that shit up. Fuck this phone booth. But I
- 57:12Speaker 3: can see, once again, I can see Al Pacino clearing
- 57:18Speaker 3: house just like he did in The Godfather.
- 57:21Speaker 2: I have to clear house.
- 57:23Speaker 3: In the moment where Jimmy realizes, yo, these cats are
- 57:27Speaker 3: going to fuck this shit up. They spending money. Their
- 57:30Speaker 3: wives are coming to him with fur coats. And they're
- 57:33Speaker 3: singing with the music. And they zoom in. Robert De
- 57:35Speaker 3: Niro smoking a cigarette. He's looking, gliding, smiling. I'm going
- 57:41Speaker 3: to kill him. Going back to the series, I'm going
- 57:43Speaker 3: to kill him. You see him working in real time.
- 57:46Speaker 3: Al Pacino can definitely do that on a nonverbal level.
- 57:49Speaker 1: For sure.
- 57:50Speaker 2: Because we've seen that several times in The Godfather.
- 57:52Speaker 1: Yes.
- 57:53Speaker 2: That's why I feel like, yeah, you could throw him
- 57:55Speaker 2: in Goodfellas. Yeah.
- 57:58Speaker 3: Because once Robert De Niro figured out, he was just like,
- 58:01Speaker 3: I got a clean house on this LaTanza heist.
- 58:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 58:04Speaker 2: Because they are fucking up.
- 58:07Speaker 1: They was doing everything.
- 58:09Speaker 2: I'm killing everybody involved. That was real.
- 58:11Speaker 1: That was real. I be watching mob documentaries and they
- 58:15Speaker 1: were like, that thing with the police were like, oh
- 58:18Speaker 1: my God.
- 58:19Speaker 2: This is great. Once a black dude fumbled with the van. Snowball.
- 58:26Speaker 1: Lufthansa is also the best airline flight I've ever taken
- 58:28Speaker 1: in my entire life. Really? Oh my God. Lufthansa first
- 58:32Speaker 1: class from here to Munich. Oh God. Including the time
- 58:38Speaker 1: I took a shower.
- 58:39Speaker 2: In the Emirates or whatever? Lufthansa, man.
- 58:42Speaker 1: It was like eight people in first class. They cook
- 58:46Speaker 1: dinner for you personally.
- 58:47Speaker 2: Dang.
- 58:48Speaker 1: Anytime you want. Oh, my God. I tried to go again.
- 58:52Speaker 1: I ain't had the bread. I was like, dang.
- 58:54Speaker 2: Woo.
- 58:55Speaker 1: You would never.
- 58:56Speaker 2: That sounds all right, man.
- 58:58Speaker 1: If you got to just do it one time, the
- 59:00Speaker 1: Lufthansa from here to Munich or Berlin.
- 59:03Speaker 2: Woo.
- 59:04Speaker 1: Woo. Did you go to Munich?
- 59:08Speaker 2: Proper? Like, was you in the city? Yeah.
- 59:10Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. How was it? It was great.
- 59:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 59:12Speaker 1: The castle that Disney is based off of is in Germany. Oh, really? Yeah. Like,
- 59:17Speaker 1: it looks just like that.
- 59:18Speaker 2: Oh, that's crazy.
- 59:19Speaker 1: We spent the day in there. It was fun.
- 59:21Speaker 2: That movie was good. Which one? Munich.
- 59:24Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. There was a Korean... I met
- 59:26Speaker 1: a Korean... Speaking fluent German and English.
- 59:33Speaker 2: Oh, wow.
- 59:33Speaker 1: With a German accent. Met Nigerians working in the hotel
- 59:37Speaker 1: speaking German with the German accent. That was my first experience. Obviously,
- 59:41Speaker 1: I'm very well aware of people immigrating all over the world.
- 59:43Speaker 1: For sure. But seeing a Korean person and a Nigerian
- 59:47Speaker 1: person speaking fluent German to each other, I was like.
- 59:53Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 59:54Speaker 1: Your mind be like, that don't go with y'all's stuff.
- 59:59Speaker 1: It's like when I seen white people speaking Igbo.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: Yes. It'd be like, wait, what y'all mean? What y'all doing?
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: One of the softwares, we had to get COVID testing
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: in Germany. And we went to the pharmacy and dude
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: thought we were German. So he's speaking full German. We
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: were like, I don't know that stuff. He goes, oh,
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: my bad. And he just switched it to perfect English. Oh,
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: my God.
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: I wish I could do this.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: And then answered the phone in Korean. I said, man,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: you all right. You ain't got to do all that.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: You just told me to feel all I have to
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: do is speak in English and speak in tongues.
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: I wish I could do that, man.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: Full accent every time.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: That would be a mutant ability I would want in
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: real life. There's a mutant that can speak every language.
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: I would love that in real life.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: Yeah, me too. There's this Asian dude I follow on TikTok.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: He walks up to people in, like, densely populated tourist
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: areas in major cities across Europe. Walks up to you.
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: I can speak your language. Whatever language they speak, he
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: jumps in. Even as a small dialect from the third
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: language in, like, Tanzania. Yeah. The black people are like, man,
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: watch out. You don't speak my language. He was like,
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: try it. Say something in your language. They say stuff.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: He immediately picks up on it and answers in their language.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: They'd be like....
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: Filipino person, Tagalog. He'd be like, ain't no way you
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: speak this. They jump into Tagalog. He speak... Fluently.
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: I would love that.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: Oh, my God. I would love that. They're going to
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: put you with them women. Like, you can get that.
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: I would love that, man. Cypher, yeah. Cypher's his name.
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: I would love that ability, man. That would put money
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: in my pocket.
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: Oh, for sure. For sure. Can you imagine being able
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: to go to Germany and speak German with the jokes?
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: Man, I could just go to any country in the
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: world and just do my set in that language.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: Man, what? All right, let's speed through, Tom.
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: All right, speed through.
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: Speed through. You're up.
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: We speeding it up. Am I back up?
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: All right. We're going to do a rapid fire, y'all.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: Rapid fire.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: Because we're running out of time. Okay. I'm trying to
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: do movies you've seen. Dog Day Afternoon. Nope. Cruising. Revolution.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: Kirk Franklin?
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: Sea of Love. Dick Tracy.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: There we go.
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: I've seen that.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: Can you see Robert De Niro and Dick Tracy?
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: Jesus. Albert, you know it's Dick Tracy?
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: He's the main villain.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: Man, boy, Dick Tracy. I ain't seen that in a minute, though.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: I watched that a lot when I was a kid.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: Dick Tracy. Who was the dude? Warren Beatty?
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: Warren Beatty was Dick Tracy.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: Was Dick Tracy? Yeah. Okay. I don't remember it enough, Tone. Okay.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: I watched that a lot as a kid, but as
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: I became, oh, 1990, Dick Tracy was in. I think
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: after like 92, I was like, I don't remember nothing
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: else but Warren Betty being Dick Tracy, and the people's
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: faces were weird. Yeah.
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: Their makeup was weird. Oh, yeah, their makeup was great.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: I don't think I even knew that was Al Pacino
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: in there.
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: All right. What about Frankie and Jack?
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: Was that Madonna?
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: Yeah, she's in it.
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: I had a crush on Madonna before. I had a
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: Madonna era. She was big, premium white.
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: I had a Madonna phase.
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: Premium white.
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: It was around, you know, Cherish and Like a Prayer.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: Nah.
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: All right. Frankie and Johnny, you haven't seen.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: I don't even know what you're talking about.
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: All right. Glenn Gary, Glenn Ross, Small Row.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: That's with Alex Baldwin? Yes.
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: He in there, too.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: Don't even remember him. Yeah. I haven't seen that movie,
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: but I remember him. The Insider. I'm an outsider.
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: Okay. Insomnia.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: I have seen that.
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: Okay. Robert De Niro. It's a yes for me.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: That's Robin Williams? Yeah. You like that movie? It was
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: all right. I was about to say, you don't like that.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: That's Christopher Nolan, ain't it? Yeah, it's cool, but it's nothing. Actually,
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: I think I can see him in that.
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: I only think about Robin Williams in that movie, though.
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: Yeah. Uh....
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: Ocean's 13.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: Different movie, but I think it still works.
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: Al Pacino wasn't a huge part of that movie. So
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: I think Robert De Niro, he doesn't change it that much.
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: Okay. They switch roles in The Irishman.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: I hate that movie so much.
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: You hate it?
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: I hate it.
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: Oh, come on, man.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: The CGI, Robert De Niro old with the stomp out,
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: and that movie was so long. But I do think
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: they could switch roles.
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: They were both, neither was doing crazy stuff. I like
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: Al Pacino and Jimmy Hoffa, though. But I think Robert
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: De Niro could have played it, too.
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: Got you. Okay.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: All right, let me do something. All right, yeah, rapid fire.
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: Raging Bull. No.
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: No?
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: Taxi Driver. No. Okay. Jackie Brown. Did we do Jackie Brown?
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: Oh, we didn't do Jackie Brown. I mentioned it, but
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: we didn't do it. Yeah.
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: Yeah. Okay. Midnight Run, which you put me on to.
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: I can't see Al Pacino in that role.
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: I like that movie.
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: I love that movie a lot. That's top five Robert
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: De Niro for me.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: That was a good time.
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: I love that movie.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: We didn't do Analyze This. No, we didn't. Analyze This.
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: I think Al Pacino would be trying to be funny,
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: and I feel like that would make it worse. So
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: I'm going to say no.
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: I don't think Al Pacino's ever made me laugh.
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: But I've definitely seen him trying to be witty and funny.
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: Men of Honor. No. The Untouchables. No. Deer Hunter.
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: I can see Al Pacino and Deer Hunter.
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: Okay. And Cape Fear. No. For the most part, we
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: said no a lot. Yeah. We said no a lot.
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: It was a lot of no's, man.
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: A lot of no's.
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: Next time we do this, we're doing Leonardo DiCaprio and
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: Tom Hanks. I've seen more of their movies than I've
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: seen of these. I realize their catalog goes a lot
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: back to when I was much younger. Oh, for sure.
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: When they were in their prime, you weren't even born
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: yet and super little.
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: Al Pacino doesn't have... He took a lot of time off.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: He doesn't... Robert De Niro has 100 credits. Al Pacino
- 1:06:44Speaker 3: has 50. So that's, you know, Robert De Niro is
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: definitely working more.
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I see more Robert De Niro.
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure.
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: What about, did we do Analyze This or Analyze That? Oh,
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: we said Analyze This. Yeah, yeah. Analyze That, same thing.
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: All right. We'll see y'all Thursday with a rewatch. And
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: I will be re-watching. We're having Malcolm Barrett next week. Patreon,
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: I'm going to re-watch. Oh, yeah.
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: Ghostbusters?
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: Ghostbusters.
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: That's the movie.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: That's the movie.
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: Ghostbusters, y'all. Re-up on it.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: Which I haven't seen in a long time. The original.
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: The original Ghostbusters. Ernie Hudson, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, and
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: Harold Ramis with Sigourney Weaver and Rick Moranis on the side.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: Ghostbusters, Patreon. I'll tell you what time. Before next Tuesday.
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: God bless you.
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: That's one of my favorite movies, man.
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: God keep you. We'll see you next time. Peace.
