- 1:34Speaker 2: Two two nine eight seven. Yeah.
- 1:37Speaker 4: Menace in my big weekend, our extreme weekend trip to Dubai.
- 1:43Speaker 2: It's possible.
- 1:44Speaker 4: People now, let me. I'm I'm gonna make a full
- 1:47Speaker 4: disclosure here. I had to look up on a map
- 1:50Speaker 4: exactly where Dubai was for real. Yeah, I knew it
- 1:54Speaker 4: was like somewhere over the Middle East. Yeah, I had
- 1:56Speaker 4: no idea exactly where it was, so I Google mapped
- 1:59Speaker 4: it alone. In that Yeah, I was like, I mean,
- 2:01Speaker 4: I've heard plenty about Dubai, of course, and everything else,
- 2:04Speaker 4: but never in a million years did I ever think
- 2:07Speaker 4: that I would not you, I mean, it counts that
- 2:11Speaker 4: I went to Dubai, right, even if I didn't leave.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Then ask you that I remember we gave crap to
- 2:15Speaker 2: our former boardop who said she quote lived in where
- 2:21Speaker 2: because she had gone to the grocery store, therefore she
- 2:23Speaker 2: lived there. But she was there for what a month? Right?
- 2:26Speaker 5: She was trying she was trying to inflate her vacation
- 2:29Speaker 5: with a world A citizen.
- 2:31Speaker 2: So would you say you've been to Dubai.
- 2:35Speaker 4: I can't say that I experienced Dubai, But did I
- 2:38Speaker 4: did I go and land in Dubai land?
- 2:41Speaker 6: You were there for longer than a layover, like a
- 2:43Speaker 6: two hour layoffs.
- 2:44Speaker 2: I did have a hotel. I did have a hotel
- 2:46Speaker 2: for the airport it doesn't matter. So I have been
- 2:50Speaker 2: to Miami because I had a layover in Miami to Miami.
- 2:53Speaker 2: How long was the layouts? Two hours? Three hours?
- 2:57Speaker 4: Because you just went from gate to gate though, right,
- 3:00Speaker 4: See I got a hotel.
- 3:00Speaker 2: With some sitting and snacking involved.
- 3:03Speaker 5: Did you buy a sandwich?
- 3:04Speaker 2: I did not say.
- 3:05Speaker 4: I think, I think you've been to Dubai Again, I have.
- 3:09Speaker 4: I did not experience Dubai. But did I fly to Dubai?
- 3:12Speaker 2: Yes?
- 3:13Speaker 4: And I think that's more the big thing because when
- 3:14Speaker 4: you say, like, oh, I went to Fiji, right, Like, dude,
- 3:18Speaker 4: flying to Fiji is how many? I mean that's forever
- 3:20Speaker 4: forever long flight? Yeah, you know, well things like that.
- 3:23Speaker 4: You know that that is more the like just going
- 3:28Speaker 4: on on a couple hour flight or you know, just
- 3:30Speaker 4: something more domestic or whatever.
- 3:33Speaker 6: I just want to know what the Yes, it wasn't
- 3:35Speaker 6: a stopover to somewhere else. His destination was Dubai.
- 3:38Speaker 4: Right, I flew to Dubai the sixteen hours, yeah, and
- 3:42Speaker 4: then uh me, and then I flew right back.
- 3:45Speaker 2: But I did it.
- 3:46Speaker 4: We did have a thirteen hour layover, and I did
- 3:48Speaker 4: get a hotel.
- 3:48Speaker 7: Did you have to go through customs though? No, so
- 3:51Speaker 7: we wouldn't get a step to stay up on your passport.
- 3:53Speaker 4: That is a good point, but it's also uh, that
- 3:56Speaker 4: was just for the convenience, which is why they built
- 3:58Speaker 4: this hotel where they did.
- 4:00Speaker 6: Well, you explaining to anyone why you may or may
- 4:03Speaker 6: not have been to do Bai will be very funnier.
- 4:05Speaker 4: Oh yeah, the whole idea of an extreme weekend, Like
- 4:07Speaker 4: people are like, oh, I'm in New York and I'm
- 4:09Speaker 4: going to go to San Francisco for dinner. Yeah, you know,
- 4:11Speaker 4: and they go there and you know, and have the
- 4:13Speaker 4: dinner and yeah, it's it's it's uh, it is insane.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:17Speaker 4: But if you're following along social media and we'll talk
- 4:19Speaker 4: more about it, like you know, medicine, because Metas had
- 4:22Speaker 4: some experience they did.
- 4:23Speaker 8: But I just want to know, does this open you
- 4:25Speaker 8: up to maybe go to Italy?
- 4:27Speaker 1: No?
- 4:27Speaker 2: Oh okay, please know.
- 4:28Speaker 4: This this trip is really for me just a it
- 4:32Speaker 4: was just all it was all about the plane. You've
- 4:34Speaker 4: been to Asia now Africa totalization. No, it's just about
- 4:38Speaker 4: the For me, it was just the experience of the plane.
- 4:40Speaker 4: I just wanted to see this plane. I've seen it
- 4:42Speaker 4: on social media in the line. Yeah, I just needed
- 4:46Speaker 4: to see it for myself, like it's well again, well
- 4:48Speaker 4: we'll get into a little bit later, but I mean
- 4:50Speaker 4: just the size and just incredible, incredible this thing float.
- 4:54Speaker 4: It's like when you're on a cruise ship. You're like,
- 4:55Speaker 4: how does this thing float as it exists? It's crazy.
- 4:59Speaker 4: We do have some fun facts, some woody show fun
- 5:04Speaker 4: facts here to start the start the morning, start the week,
- 5:08Speaker 4: and we'll start with one. I know that Greg zacha like,
- 5:10Speaker 4: this is from a list of things that blow little
- 5:12Speaker 4: kid's minds. Okay, butterflies, Greg hates so gross. Butterflies taste
- 5:20Speaker 4: through their feet. I think I knew that at one
- 5:22Speaker 4: point makes them even more gross. Yeah, I never heard
- 5:26Speaker 4: that before.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Something more heinous.
- 5:29Speaker 4: Yeah, I never heard that bees communicate through dance.
- 5:33Speaker 8: Love it.
- 5:34Speaker 2: That's kind of cute.
- 5:36Speaker 4: Kid's minds get blown when they hear that most elephants
- 5:38Speaker 4: weigh less than a blue whale's tongue.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Oh wow, then the tongue. That's crazy. Most elephants weigh.
- 5:44Speaker 6: Less, that's crazy.
- 5:46Speaker 2: That's crazy. What do you show? Fun fact?
- 5:48Speaker 4: The water around today is pretty much all the same
- 5:50Speaker 4: water that was around when the dinosaurs existed.
- 5:53Speaker 2: I've heard that one to night. I've never fully understood it.
- 5:55Speaker 2: What do you mean, like, but where do you think
- 5:57Speaker 2: the water goes? Evaporates?
- 5:59Speaker 8: But not that much of it?
- 6:00Speaker 2: Yeah? Do you think it comes from? Correct?
- 6:02Speaker 5: That's the best question.
- 6:04Speaker 7: Yeah, that's like saying it's the same land as when
- 6:06Speaker 7: the dinosaurs were here.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Thank you, thank.
- 6:08Speaker 5: You, Sammy laying down, Greg, you still look confused.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Where does water come from? Rain?
- 6:16Speaker 5: What are you guys talking how to get on this
- 6:18Speaker 5: planet to begin with?
- 6:18Speaker 9: Ye?
- 6:19Speaker 2: From rain? Oh boy, this guy, it's it's.
- 6:24Speaker 7: Well because it all goes back up into the clouds
- 6:26Speaker 7: and then rains back down and all goes back going
- 6:28Speaker 7: to got.
- 6:30Speaker 2: A fun fact that if it's so obvious, well, water got.
- 6:33Speaker 8: To planet Earth how by asteroids?
- 6:34Speaker 2: And comments?
- 6:35Speaker 5: Right, and we haven't had any big giant water containing
- 6:38Speaker 5: or ice containing asteroids.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Okay, so how is this a fun fact? I agree,
- 6:43Speaker 2: it's so obvious. Well, now I'm saying, you know, it
- 6:46Speaker 2: makes sense.
- 6:47Speaker 4: One that I think the part is like, once you
- 6:49Speaker 4: hear it, right, you go, oh yeah, that that makes
- 6:51Speaker 4: total sense. But the part that is for you is
- 6:54Speaker 4: not making sense.
- 6:55Speaker 6: Maybe this one is just a fact, not a fun fact.
- 6:57Speaker 5: There you go, that's fun it's an anchoring fan.
- 6:59Speaker 2: It's fun.
- 6:59Speaker 4: I mean just about this this drop of water that
- 7:01Speaker 4: you're drinking right now, and was there maybe you like
- 7:04Speaker 4: rinsed off at George Washington some point. All right, fun
- 7:10Speaker 4: fact and octopus and octopus has three hearts.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Wow, I love those little guys love.
- 7:17Speaker 4: Humming birds are the only birds that can fly backwards.
- 7:19Speaker 2: I knew that.
- 7:20Speaker 6: That's cool.
- 7:21Speaker 4: The average person farts around fourteen times a day.
- 7:24Speaker 5: Wait right, way more?
- 7:27Speaker 2: Oh yeah, fourteen before work rips.
- 7:30Speaker 4: Yeah, you wake up. That's like the first odd stuff,
- 7:33Speaker 4: first thing when you wake up.
- 7:34Speaker 2: You just got a morning rippers?
- 7:37Speaker 6: Like eight hours together? Is everyone farting?
- 7:41Speaker 5: Oh yeah in the car?
- 7:42Speaker 10: I am really all day all the time.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Sure, yes, do you smell her? I feel like, do
- 7:48Speaker 2: you smell her?
- 7:49Speaker 4: Because you guys are kind of you know, on either
- 7:50Speaker 4: side there no, okay, she could sell those you could.
- 7:55Speaker 2: You could just look.
- 7:57Speaker 7: I try to like sit on them to smother them
- 8:00Speaker 7: so the smell doesn't come out.
- 8:01Speaker 6: The children the system a systems.
- 8:05Speaker 4: And then I'll give you one more, one more fun fact.
- 8:08Speaker 2: What do you show? Fun fact?
- 8:09Speaker 4: Humans and drafts have the same number of neck bones.
- 8:13Speaker 6: That's crazy.
- 8:14Speaker 5: Girafts are larger obviously, but that is that ruin facts.
- 8:23Speaker 5: Well oh really, well they could be the same size
- 8:25Speaker 5: and because the cartilage could be bigger. Huh, humans and
- 8:29Speaker 5: drafts have the same number of neck bones.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Seven, by the way, that's crazy. Seven.
- 8:35Speaker 4: Did you see uh did you see that video? There's
- 8:38Speaker 4: like this animal chiropractor.
- 8:40Speaker 6: I was just gonna say that, who did the giraffe?
- 8:43Speaker 4: Yeah, while he didn't do the draft, he he did
- 8:46Speaker 4: like a yeah.
- 8:47Speaker 6: He had to go stand up in like another level
- 8:49Speaker 6: like a scaffolding, and the giraffe was so happy. It
- 8:52Speaker 6: just like like put his little head on.
- 8:54Speaker 4: He snapped his neck and it just kind of fell
- 8:56Speaker 4: lifeless onto his guy's shoulder.
- 8:58Speaker 6: And then they go, oh, look, what do you do
- 9:00Speaker 6: living I'm a draft chiropractor?
- 9:02Speaker 2: Like, how do you even learn how to? I mean,
- 9:04Speaker 2: how do you know the draft wants it exactly exactly
- 9:09Speaker 2: the way?
- 9:10Speaker 4: It looks like it would feel really good to have
- 9:12Speaker 4: your neck cracked, like because you know the people that
- 9:14Speaker 4: can just like cann how you.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Can do it? Do it? I mean I don't know
- 9:18Speaker 2: if I could do it right this it's so jealous.
- 9:19Speaker 6: He does it everywhere.
- 9:20Speaker 9: It's loud when he does it, yeah, man, because it
- 9:28Speaker 9: sounds so nice, Like.
- 9:31Speaker 4: It feels so good. I can do my elbow like, yeah,
- 9:34Speaker 4: the elbow thing I knew you could do.
- 9:35Speaker 2: I told you.
- 9:36Speaker 4: Like when I do it certain like this, like the
- 9:38Speaker 4: chip my chest will crack. That is when that feels
- 9:41Speaker 4: so good.
- 9:41Speaker 6: That's one of the most horrific things I've ever seen.
- 9:43Speaker 2: But it makes me nervous.
- 9:44Speaker 4: Like We've talked about a million times, but the chiropractor
- 9:47Speaker 4: and the crack of the neck, I'll end up in
- 9:49Speaker 4: a wheelchair, for sure.
- 9:51Speaker 2: There's some there's some what show fun facts.
- 9:53Speaker 4: We're gonna take a little quick break and then we'll
- 9:55Speaker 4: come back and then medicine tell us what's happening in

- 10:50Speaker 4: was today. In nineteen forty one, President Franklin D. Roosevelt
- 10:54Speaker 4: delivered the Day of Infamy speech to Congress, one of
- 10:57Speaker 4: your favorite speeches. Yeah, the United States officially entering World
- 11:00Speaker 4: War eleven. There you know this day were World War.

- 11:13Speaker 5: MENACE's definition of infanty?
- 11:15Speaker 2: Yeah, well, well I didn't. I missed it.
- 11:17Speaker 8: He asked me what it meant, and I said, forever,
- 11:20Speaker 8: I think you mean infinite?
- 11:23Speaker 4: Yeah means endless, okay, right, funny in fummy like, yeah,
- 11:30Speaker 4: this is spelled I n F A M y okay.
- 11:34Speaker 8: Not so we're we're not the pronunciation. We're trying to
- 11:37Speaker 8: figure out. We're trying to figure out the definition. The definition,
- 11:41Speaker 8: I believe, sorry is forever, like you'll live on forever.
- 11:46Speaker 8: I mean, like if somebody is, I mean, that's part
- 11:49Speaker 8: of it.
- 11:49Speaker 2: I suppose. Yeah, that's the true definition. Then famous for
- 11:56Speaker 2: bad reason like Charles, Yeah, you've heard the work, you've
- 12:01Speaker 2: heard the Yeah.
- 12:02Speaker 8: Right, so it's the same thing, all right, yeah, all right.
- 12:06Speaker 4: So there, So there's that. He was saying in nineteen
- 12:11Speaker 4: eighty that the world was shocked by the news that
- 12:13Speaker 4: John Lennon had been shot and killed outside of his
- 12:17Speaker 4: New York City apartment building.
- 12:18Speaker 5: That was today in nineteen eighty was selling his socks
- 12:20Speaker 5: dirty socks online.
- 12:21Speaker 4: Probably all you lulubu fans uh congratulations. Today is National
- 12:27Speaker 4: Blue Collar Day Day. It is Immaculate Conception Day. It's
- 12:33Speaker 4: National lard Day. Hey, there's one for us. It's National
- 12:37Speaker 4: Health Savings Account Day, which I used to do and
- 12:39Speaker 4: then I didn't do it because I just found the
- 12:40Speaker 4: end of the year, all this money that was going
- 12:42Speaker 4: to this health savings account because I don't I don't have
- 12:44Speaker 4: like any i mean, knock on wood on any chronic conditions. Yeah,
- 12:46Speaker 4: I was just like finding ways to burn it because
- 12:48Speaker 4: I had to use it. By the end of the
- 12:49Speaker 4: year to get new glasses just because. Yeah, right, Today's
- 12:53Speaker 4: National Sales Person Day. It is pretended to be a
- 12:56Speaker 4: time traveler day. God, it's it's Nael Brownie Day today.
- 13:03Speaker 4: And also it's take it in the ear day. Excuse me,
- 13:07Speaker 4: what you're you're all doing right now, You're taking it
- 13:09Speaker 4: right in the ear.
- 13:12Speaker 2: But yeah, those are today's holidays. We got the.
- 13:14Speaker 4: Porno birthday, we got the celebrity birthdays coming up here
- 13:16Speaker 4: in just a second. But first, Medicinan tells what's happening
- 13:19Speaker 4: in the world of entertainment.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, like, catch you up, guard dude.
- 13:24Speaker 8: There's this story when I was when I was working
- 13:27Speaker 8: on a radio station, I used to hang out with
- 13:29Speaker 8: a lot of club DJs and one of the club
- 13:31Speaker 8: DJ's cousin came along and he was from a different country,
- 13:35Speaker 8: so he didn't speak English very well. And he met
- 13:38Speaker 8: a girl at the club and he's he started talking
- 13:42Speaker 8: to her after the club on the phone, and we
- 13:44Speaker 8: all listened in and then we kept on telling him
- 13:47Speaker 8: to say stuff, and he said, and we told him
- 13:50Speaker 8: to say, could I put it? And I put it
- 13:52Speaker 8: in your ear? So he was like he's. We kept
- 13:56Speaker 8: on writing it down and and so he would say.
- 13:58Speaker 8: He started saying it to the girl and she's like,
- 14:00Speaker 8: what gonna put.
- 14:01Speaker 2: It in your ear?
- 14:05Speaker 4: You couldn't hear it.
- 14:05Speaker 8: She was like, she's like, okay, sorry, it was funny,
- 14:12Speaker 8: all right, club days.
- 14:14Speaker 2: What's what's happening in the world.
- 14:15Speaker 8: Of ent Well, for all you K Pop Demon Hunter fans,
- 14:19Speaker 8: I don't know if you saw this.
- 14:20Speaker 2: But it's in my feed in your feed.
- 14:23Speaker 8: That Van's shoes. They have a collection and it has
- 14:26Speaker 8: already dropped. You can check it out and you can
- 14:29Speaker 8: you can pick up some shoes at vans dot com
- 14:32Speaker 8: if you're a big K Pop Demon Hunters fan. Now,
- 14:35Speaker 8: I did not share this with you. Over the Thanksgiving break.
- 14:38Speaker 8: I said, you know what, I'm going to see what
- 14:40Speaker 8: this K Pop Demon Hunters thing is all about. And
- 14:43Speaker 8: I watched it on Netflix and I found it to
- 14:46Speaker 8: be quite entertaining.
- 14:48Speaker 2: But check this out.
- 14:50Speaker 8: It is what everybody been saying that kids do not
- 14:54Speaker 8: have attention spans because the scenes and the uh plot
- 14:58Speaker 8: and all everything that's happening is constantly changing, like every
- 15:03Speaker 8: five second. Oh really, so yeah that is is they have.
- 15:07Speaker 6: To seal the hood moone.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's like.
- 15:09Speaker 8: The new style of content for kids because they have
- 15:13Speaker 8: no attention span at all. It is just moving so fast.
- 15:17Speaker 8: But if you have some kids that are fans, they
- 15:20Speaker 8: can now pick up some vans with K Pop Demon Hunters.
- 15:24Speaker 8: Moving on. I also big news over the weekend that
- 15:27Speaker 8: kind of dropped after we got off work on Friday.
- 15:29Speaker 8: Taylor Swift might have a date set to marry Travis
- 15:34Speaker 8: Kelcey and that would be Saturday, June thirteenth, twenty twenty six.
- 15:40Speaker 8: Well had an ocean side property.
- 15:43Speaker 7: That would make sense because thirteen is her number, as
- 15:45Speaker 7: everybody knows December thirteenth, but thirteen is her numbers. And
- 15:50Speaker 7: I hope this happens because also who else's birthday June thirteenth,
- 15:53Speaker 7: Mary Kant Ashley h.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Duh, everybody knows that.
- 15:57Speaker 8: Yeah, it would be happening at a ocean side house
- 16:00Speaker 8: in Rhode Island, alleged.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Per allegedly, and I don't honestly, I don't even believe this.
- 16:05Speaker 8: Maybe they leaked it to throw people off on location
- 16:08Speaker 8: because like, why would she get married in like such
- 16:12Speaker 8: a public space like that on the ocean.
- 16:14Speaker 6: Well, I don't know why this got targeted to me,
- 16:16Speaker 6: but it said that she paid some bride off for
- 16:18Speaker 6: the bride to move her date so she could have
- 16:20Speaker 6: that date.
- 16:21Speaker 4: That's whatever.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Who cares.
- 16:22Speaker 4: I would do that the price was right.
- 16:25Speaker 2: The location is not secure at all. I just I
- 16:29Speaker 2: don't can be I mean anything.
- 16:30Speaker 4: If the president can travel anywhere and they can make
- 16:32Speaker 4: that secure, I'm sure she's got the money to make
- 16:35Speaker 4: whatever she needs to happen happen security wise, for sure.
- 16:38Speaker 4: And this woman who gave up her date, yeah, I'm
- 16:41Speaker 4: sure whatever she was offered, she paid for the entire
- 16:43Speaker 4: wedding totally. Can we talk.
- 16:45Speaker 7: About how George Clooney was just on Travis Kelsey's podcast,
- 16:49Speaker 7: and for George Clooney's wedding it was super difficult to
- 16:52Speaker 7: get to.
- 16:52Speaker 6: Everyone had to get on boats and traveled like go.
- 16:54Speaker 7: So yeah, but I wonder if they're discussing how to
- 16:57Speaker 7: be able to have a wedding like that.
- 16:58Speaker 2: I think it's a diversion. I don't know.
- 17:00Speaker 8: I don't believe this location at all. I used to
- 17:02Speaker 8: think no one cared about this, but I was wrong. Yeah,
- 17:05Speaker 8: we found everybody. Oh some more stuff you don't care about.
- 17:08Speaker 8: In the latest Call Her Daddy podcast with Kim Kardashian,
- 17:12Speaker 8: it was revealed that Kim Kardashian wasn't actually Kim Kardashian
- 17:16Speaker 8: before they started shooting the television show. She always went
- 17:20Speaker 8: by Kimberly Kardashian with all of her friends and family,
- 17:24Speaker 8: but right when they were signing the paperwork to do
- 17:27Speaker 8: the TV show, she thought it was too long to say,
- 17:30Speaker 8: so she was the one last minute that changed her
- 17:33Speaker 8: name to be Kim Kardashian right before they shot the show.
- 17:37Speaker 8: So a little fun fact of the day for you.
- 17:40Speaker 8: A little another update on some people that you don't
- 17:42Speaker 8: care about, Megan Markle, you know, I'm obsessed with their
- 17:46Speaker 8: dad because he's always up to shenanigans and you know,
- 17:48Speaker 8: getting locked in in buildings during earthquakes and yeah, and
- 17:54Speaker 8: then he's going having emergency surgery and I talked about
- 17:59Speaker 8: that while his latest emergency surgery is, Hey, he got
- 18:02Speaker 8: his foot cut off. Now he uh, yeah, he had
- 18:07Speaker 8: a blood clot in his leg and they said it
- 18:09Speaker 8: was cutting off all his circulation, it was going black.
- 18:11Speaker 8: And yeah, they had to cut off his leg pretty
- 18:15Speaker 8: much below the knee too. Yeah, that's the latest update
- 18:19Speaker 8: on that. That's what happened to my friend before he died. Well,
- 18:22Speaker 8: your friend from I remember it was an accident, right,
- 18:25Speaker 8: this is not because he wasn't.
- 18:26Speaker 5: Cause lack of circulation, which then leads you got blood
- 18:29Speaker 5: clots and that stroke city coming at you.
- 18:31Speaker 2: Oh man, that sucks. All right.
- 18:34Speaker 8: Oh here's one daily mention of Japan. Now, an Emily
- 18:38Speaker 8: in Paris star from the Netflix television show, was in
- 18:42Speaker 8: Okinawa and he's trying to leave and now he's been
- 18:45Speaker 8: in custody for over twenty days because they found no,
- 18:50Speaker 8: they found a crystal inside his luggage that was zero
- 18:54Speaker 8: point seven eight grams of a crystal containing synthetic narcan
- 19:00Speaker 8: M d M A weird. So yeah, he's megabusted and

- 22:29Speaker 2: And we'll start with it.
- 22:30Speaker 4: You might like this one because it starts with Sea
- 22:31Speaker 4: Bass is doing the Lord's work. Illan anyway, let's see
- 22:35Speaker 4: what they have to say.
- 22:36Speaker 13: Hey, what do you show this messages for Sea Bass?
- 22:39Speaker 13: I just want to let you know that you do
- 22:41Speaker 13: the Lord's work by removing all those free signs for businesses.
- 22:46Speaker 13: And I just want to let you know that I've
- 22:48Speaker 13: been doing the same thing of removing all the signs
- 22:52Speaker 13: for all these people that hang Christmas lights up for
- 22:56Speaker 13: the year, and I've been going around and taking every
- 22:59Speaker 13: last one of them down. Sentis, I feel like you'd
- 23:01Speaker 13: be so proud of me, Sea Bess. You keep doing
- 23:03Speaker 13: the lord for all you guys.
- 23:08Speaker 8: If I have.
- 23:08Speaker 5: A particular business and I want to put my sign
- 23:11Speaker 5: up anywhere and crap up your neighborhood.
- 23:12Speaker 2: You don't want to actually go through the legitimate channels
- 23:15Speaker 2: like everybody else.
- 23:16Speaker 5: Well, Greg, I'm paying money to print the signs, and
- 23:18Speaker 5: I'm paying money to go around and put them up.
- 23:20Speaker 2: Paying them on anywhere you want street signs houses.
- 23:23Speaker 4: I don't care when you see those little ones on
- 23:25Speaker 4: the like a street corner kind of thing that's almost
- 23:27Speaker 4: like a little campaign signs.
- 23:29Speaker 2: What do that is incongruous with your attitude towards order
- 23:32Speaker 2: and clean Dude.
- 23:34Speaker 4: I make no sense most of the time, I'm saying.
- 23:37Speaker 4: For whatever reason, it doesn't bother me, especially like the
- 23:39Speaker 4: seasonal stuff, like you're looking for someone to put Christmas
- 23:42Speaker 4: lights up.
- 23:42Speaker 2: I don't. I don't see a sign like tacked up
- 23:44Speaker 2: on telephone. Great.
- 23:46Speaker 5: The good thing is that after Christmas season is over,
- 23:48Speaker 5: they movement gathered them wait for everywhere, fall down and
- 23:52Speaker 5: garbage up everything.
- 23:53Speaker 4: Here's another one about Sea Bass.
- 23:56Speaker 5: I'll be complimentary.
- 23:57Speaker 2: Yeah maybe, Wait what do you show me love?
- 24:00Speaker 14: Uh?
- 24:00Speaker 15: Listening to podcast about the conversation Now, I don't agree
- 24:04Speaker 15: with sea bass much on most things.
- 24:06Speaker 2: Kind of a dick, But when.
- 24:07Speaker 15: It comes to crying babies on planes, I do have
- 24:11Speaker 15: to agree, but not because of common courtesy, because, and
- 24:15Speaker 15: this is just a theory, if your child is too
- 24:18Speaker 15: young to be shown or taught how to pop their ears,
- 24:22Speaker 15: I think they're crying because of pain or just discomfort.
- 24:26Speaker 2: Sure, now, if.
- 24:27Speaker 15: They're old enough and they're just complaining, that's different. You
- 24:30Speaker 15: just got to tolerate it as society. But if you
- 24:32Speaker 15: can't show them how to pop their ears, I don't know.
- 24:34Speaker 15: I think that's part of the reason you love all.
- 24:37Speaker 8: Rights at confused.
- 24:39Speaker 5: So that's what he's saying. It goes back to one
- 24:40Speaker 5: of the one of the rebuttals you get from these
- 24:42Speaker 5: morons is they'll say, well, if you're suffering from the crime,
- 24:45Speaker 5: just think how uncomfortable the baby is.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Exactly, don't bring the babies somewhere. It's going to be exactly,
- 24:51Speaker 2: why do you hate your baby? Why?
- 24:53Speaker 4: This is why your pediatrician will tell you if you're
- 24:56Speaker 4: flying with little babies, especially who can't communicate those kinds
- 24:59Speaker 4: of things. Anyway, it's a good idea. As it is
- 25:02Speaker 4: like to as the plane is descending as you're on
- 25:06Speaker 4: you just sending to your into your destination. That's when
- 25:08Speaker 4: you give the baby a bottle, because that that whole process. Yeah,
- 25:11Speaker 4: of like swallowing in the like, that will help equalize
- 25:15Speaker 4: the pressure, you.
- 25:16Speaker 2: Know what else in their ears not flying to begin with.
- 25:19Speaker 2: Oh okay, that helps everything, though, leave whatever you gut
- 25:22Speaker 2: after ours voicemail time after the show is over, until
- 25:24Speaker 2: the next day when we reunite eight.
- 25:26Speaker 4: Seven seven forty four. Text us over to two two
- 25:30Speaker 4: nine eight seven.
- 25:31Speaker 2: You can move on the floor, right, you know you can.
- 25:33Speaker 2: You can choose something or whatever.
- 25:35Speaker 4: Man you crap in my madhad Yeah, that might be
- 25:39Speaker 4: a deal break.
- 25:40Speaker 2: And now more of The Woody Show.
- 25:44Speaker 4: And into another new hour, insensitivity training for a politically
- 25:49Speaker 4: correct world.
- 25:50Speaker 2: I'm Woody.
- 25:51Speaker 4: That's Gina Grant, Greg gory Man.
- 25:55Speaker 1: What is that?
- 25:56Speaker 4: We got Sea Bass, We've got Sammy Morgan is here. Hey,
- 25:59Speaker 4: phone are open eight seven seven forty four Wooding. You
- 26:03Speaker 4: can text us over to two to nine eight seven.
- 26:06Speaker 4: Finals follow us as a lotti. All were to do
- 26:09Speaker 4: on social media the force there at the Woody Show.
- 26:12Speaker 4: We got some of the trending news headlines coming up
- 26:15Speaker 4: for you later on in the hour weekend cheers and jeers.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Minute you got anything?
- 26:22Speaker 1: Move on?
- 26:25Speaker 2: Yeah, do that? Oh wait, I figured I would just
- 26:28Speaker 2: comble up with menace. And so we have a lot
- 26:31Speaker 2: of the same weekend.
- 26:32Speaker 4: There were some differences between his experience and my experience,
- 26:35Speaker 4: but overall, oh my god, it was our extreme weekend
- 26:40Speaker 4: trip to Dubai.
- 26:42Speaker 6: You finally did it.
- 26:43Speaker 2: We did it.
- 26:43Speaker 4: And so the flight left at three point thirty on
- 26:47Speaker 4: Friday afternoon and we arrived back home at about one
- 26:51Speaker 4: o'clock on Sunday. And in the meantime we flew sixteen
- 26:57Speaker 4: hours to the Middle East inane Dubai. We were on
- 27:01Speaker 4: the ground for thirteen hours and then boarded a sixteen
- 27:04Speaker 4: and a half hour flight back. Yes, now, one thing
- 27:07Speaker 4: I will say is really cool. I wasn't sure like
- 27:10Speaker 4: the routing and how it was going to go, but
- 27:11Speaker 4: it's one of those trips that went over the top.
- 27:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:14Speaker 4: So we took off and went straight north over the
- 27:16Speaker 4: North Pole and then down the other side of the
- 27:20Speaker 4: planet down into Dubai. So we approached Dubai from like
- 27:24Speaker 4: if you know Dubai sits you know, we came from
- 27:27Speaker 4: the east, right.
- 27:29Speaker 6: Did you look down and see the northern lights.
- 27:31Speaker 4: I didn't because I was sleeping at that.
- 27:34Speaker 2: Yeah. But the biggest, the biggest tip.
- 27:36Speaker 4: That I would have for anybody doing something like that
- 27:38Speaker 4: is try to stay on your own home schedule.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Yeah, as best as you can. And that's what That's
- 27:43Speaker 2: what medicine.
- 27:44Speaker 4: I both did, which is why we're totally Everyone keeps
- 27:46Speaker 4: asking how do we feel?
- 27:48Speaker 8: Totally normal? Yeah, totally normal. But with that whole going
- 27:51Speaker 8: over the North Pole thing, Richard our listener, he explained
- 27:54Speaker 8: it to me, and he said, it's actually a faster
- 27:57Speaker 8: way of adating to where we're going because you know,
- 28:00Speaker 8: the Earth might not be flat, guys, So if you
- 28:03Speaker 8: he goes, this is the way you could check it out.
- 28:06Speaker 8: Where you grab a globe, grab a piece of string,
- 28:09Speaker 8: and then take the string from where we left and
- 28:11Speaker 8: go to the Middle East and a string will be
- 28:14Speaker 8: shorter if you did it, like as opposed to going
- 28:16Speaker 8: around the earth around.
- 28:18Speaker 6: Yeah, get it.
- 28:18Speaker 2: Yeah, it was pretty cool.
- 28:19Speaker 4: I learned a lot. But we flew first class on Emirates.
- 28:23Speaker 4: Oh the plane, it's hard to even describe. It's massive.
- 28:28Speaker 4: It's an airbus three eighty.
- 28:30Speaker 6: You go upstairs, for God's sake.
- 28:31Speaker 4: I mean and it's not just like there's a small
- 28:33Speaker 4: upstairs area toward the front of the plane. It goes
- 28:36Speaker 4: the length of the entire plane.
- 28:37Speaker 2: I thought it was only in the front. So it
- 28:39Speaker 2: goes to the length of the entire plan. It's massive.
- 28:42Speaker 2: So where were your pods or whatever. They're upstairs, upstairs.
- 28:46Speaker 6: Upstairs in front the front of the plane.
- 28:48Speaker 8: Yeah, toward the front of the plane. And then so
- 28:50Speaker 8: there's a lounge and the lounges all the way on
- 28:52Speaker 8: the back of the plane.
- 28:53Speaker 4: So you go first class, throw curtain through all the
- 28:57Speaker 4: business class people, which those are laid flat and those
- 29:00Speaker 4: super nice. Those are really nice. And then you go
- 29:04Speaker 4: beyond a curtain there and then that's where there's this
- 29:06Speaker 4: lounge and it's a full like horseshoe bar.
- 29:10Speaker 2: Person there serving drinks.
- 29:11Speaker 4: There's multiple tables, sandwiches, tables kind of set up on
- 29:15Speaker 4: and you can just kind of hang out and lounge.
- 29:16Speaker 8: Back their big screen TVs like games and stuff.
- 29:20Speaker 6: They're like seat belts back there.
- 29:21Speaker 4: No, yeah, yeah, when you're sitting there, there are there
- 29:23Speaker 4: were seat belts like on Modum.
- 29:26Speaker 6: Drink about how many people can fit in the lounge
- 29:28Speaker 6: at one.
- 29:28Speaker 4: Time, thirty, But it was never super crowded back there now.
- 29:33Speaker 4: And then beyond that, beyond the lounge, towards the back
- 29:36Speaker 4: of the plane was the full kitchen that they.
- 29:39Speaker 2: Had where they were making all the food because it
- 29:41Speaker 2: was a it was a full menu that we were presenting.
- 29:44Speaker 11: And that was.
- 29:44Speaker 6: Greg's question, like are they actually making the food?
- 29:48Speaker 2: They asked me, how I wanted my steak?
- 29:50Speaker 8: God, yeah, I had the Wagu sliders that you recommended
- 29:56Speaker 8: and those were fantastic.
- 29:57Speaker 2: Greg I odd on Caliar.
- 30:02Speaker 4: Emmert's first classes that it's it's like a unlimited caviar.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Now when they say unlimited limited, they're likelimited, and it's
- 30:11Speaker 2: like a tub they give you. They give you a big, giant,
- 30:14Speaker 2: huge and they would you like more? And like yeah, sure,
- 30:17Speaker 2: the robin the.
- 30:24Speaker 4: Minute, get on the planet's dom carry on, and uh, dude,
- 30:27Speaker 4: it's it's amazing the level of customer service.
- 30:30Speaker 2: We took showers.
- 30:32Speaker 8: How is that the.
- 30:33Speaker 2: Bathroom is huge? By the way, we have a full.
- 30:35Speaker 4: Video on our Instagram at the Woody Show where you
- 30:38Speaker 4: could see a lot of this stuff.
- 30:39Speaker 2: You see like the lounge you see and the shower.
- 30:42Speaker 8: Uh, and the it's a huge, huge bathroom, right, massive mass.
- 30:48Speaker 2: Yeah, looked really big. There's screens in it.
- 30:52Speaker 4: Is the water pressure weak or is it? No, it's
- 30:55Speaker 4: great they do that.
- 30:57Speaker 8: The water is like hot hot if you want it. Yeah, yeah,
- 31:00Speaker 8: it's so cool.
- 31:02Speaker 7: And I saw in the video that you posted that
- 31:03Speaker 7: there's like a countdown clock on the shower for how much.
- 31:06Speaker 2: Time power water?
- 31:09Speaker 4: Obviously there's a limited water supplying on a plane and all.
- 31:12Speaker 4: And then are the people waiting for you or is it? Yeah,
- 31:14Speaker 4: there's like a they call it a spa attendant. So
- 31:18Speaker 4: this person just stands outside of the bathroom. It's kind
- 31:21Speaker 4: of like a like a reception area and anything you
- 31:24Speaker 4: need they can get you. Or like once once you're done,
- 31:27Speaker 4: they'll go in and they'll freshen up the bathroom for
- 31:30Speaker 4: the next person.
- 31:30Speaker 6: And that's what did you put your Jammy's on?
- 31:33Speaker 2: They issue you pajamas.
- 31:35Speaker 6: Now, you said you weren't going to fit in them.
- 31:37Speaker 4: I fit in the pants. The shirt I did fit in,
- 31:40Speaker 4: but it wasn't super comfortable. So I just used like
- 31:41Speaker 4: a regular T shirt that I brought that I normally
- 31:43Speaker 4: sleep in. But man, the world's most comfortable slippers. Oh okay, they.
- 31:48Speaker 8: Give you those, and then oh I brought one for
- 31:50Speaker 8: Greg because.
- 31:54Speaker 6: The back is.
- 31:56Speaker 4: Wait a second, look, So I brought this is this
- 32:01Speaker 4: is what they give you for your toilet trees?
- 32:04Speaker 2: Greg, which one did you give you? I got a
- 32:07Speaker 2: better one for Greg.
- 32:09Speaker 6: It was like, wait, isn't he already getting one you give?
- 32:11Speaker 2: You gave him the crappier one.
- 32:13Speaker 4: This is because I already had a picture of this, Greg,
- 32:15Speaker 4: And this is the one, he said the dog.
- 32:17Speaker 2: That is that same one. No it's not.
- 32:21Speaker 4: This is the one on the outbound. This is the
- 32:23Speaker 4: one you just gave Greg. I brought him both. I
- 32:28Speaker 4: didn't realized that there was a different Greg.
- 32:30Speaker 2: I think it's either I think it's Bulgary and watch Greg,
- 32:36Speaker 2: there we go and wow, this is amazing. Which which
- 32:40Speaker 2: one do you want? I like that one like you
- 32:43Speaker 2: can have a set.
- 32:45Speaker 4: Or whoever else wants first class? Yeah, but looks like
- 32:49Speaker 4: this is guys stuff.
- 32:50Speaker 6: Yeah, well I got only where's Michael Jordan's.
- 32:55Speaker 2: Greg? Look at the little the little pouch.
- 32:58Speaker 6: Literally I don't mean to put him on black and
- 33:00Speaker 6: does smell good. But my husband buys Michael Jordan kolone
- 33:02Speaker 6: off of Amazon. I'd love him to step it up a.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Little at this. Look at this little Mangari. Yeah, oh,
- 33:09Speaker 2: thank you, thank you, thank you. It's like I'm on
- 33:10Speaker 2: first class.
- 33:11Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 33:13Speaker 10: Now, were you guys able to get caviar for him?
- 33:15Speaker 2: Yeah, you can't get that back to go.
- 33:18Speaker 8: You got to go through a thing called customs. Yeah,
- 33:22Speaker 8: that's the thank you, thank you, and uh.
- 33:25Speaker 4: You know, so staying on the on the schedule, like
- 33:27Speaker 4: you know, the plane left like three thirty, so about
- 33:29Speaker 4: seven thirty, which is when I would typically like start
- 33:31Speaker 4: like passing out at home, is when I'm like, you
- 33:34Speaker 4: know what, I'm gonna shut it down. Yeah, I slept
- 33:36Speaker 4: from let's call it eight o'clock.
- 33:38Speaker 2: By the time I fell asleep.
- 33:39Speaker 4: They set your then they set your little pot up
- 33:41Speaker 4: and everything with this like betting material. They have a
- 33:44Speaker 4: they put like a mattress thing down. The seat goes flat,
- 33:46Speaker 4: and then they put a mattress thing on top of that.
- 33:48Speaker 4: It feels like it's really nice hotel, luxury Lennon's. You
- 33:51Speaker 4: have this pillow, the whole thing to get all set
- 33:53Speaker 4: up for you.
- 33:53Speaker 2: You go changing your Jammy's and whatever.
- 33:55Speaker 4: You and they basically tucky in. There are these two
- 33:59Speaker 4: giant doors that are on a button and goes just
- 34:02Speaker 4: slide shut and they were like really tall walls so
- 34:04Speaker 4: that you have complete privacy. And I passed out. Didn't
- 34:08Speaker 4: wake up until about four o'clock, and so I looked
- 34:12Speaker 4: at my aura ring. It was the best sleep score
- 34:15Speaker 4: I've gotten in weeks, better than any night on the cruise.
- 34:19Speaker 2: That I was just on.
- 34:20Speaker 4: It was a ninety one sleep score. It was unbelievable.
- 34:23Speaker 4: And you slept for eight hours straight. I was out
- 34:26Speaker 4: and I woke up. I watched a little TV. And
- 34:30Speaker 4: by the time I woke up, it's like we were
- 34:32Speaker 4: going to be landing, not that not that long. So
- 34:34Speaker 4: I had a time to eat, I had a meal,
- 34:36Speaker 4: I took a shower, and then we were landing.
- 34:38Speaker 6: The field looked incredible.
- 34:39Speaker 2: So is there a part of you that thinks sleeping
- 34:41Speaker 2: is almost a waste on a flight like that when
- 34:43Speaker 2: it's sixteen hours?
- 34:44Speaker 14: Really?
- 34:45Speaker 2: So then you still long? Yeah, you still got another
- 34:48Speaker 2: eight hours. Now. Had you not slept and you just
- 34:50Speaker 2: wanted more sliders, more caviar.
- 34:52Speaker 4: They would just keep endless. Everything is endless. Y's just unreal. Yeah,
- 34:57Speaker 4: So I realized this is not the way that everybody
- 35:00Speaker 4: can travel like it was first class on Emirates Airlines.
- 35:03Speaker 6: It was an experience.
- 35:04Speaker 4: It was a bucket list thing for Menace for his birthday.
- 35:07Speaker 4: We have been to be able to work it out.
- 35:09Speaker 4: The company paid for it, like, you know, thirty thousand
- 35:13Speaker 4: dollars each round trip for that experience. Now, I will
- 35:17Speaker 4: say business class looks phenomenal. I shall have access to
- 35:21Speaker 4: the lounge, you still get the priority boarding, you still
- 35:23Speaker 4: get all this other stuff, and that that would have
- 35:26Speaker 4: been That would have been fine too.
- 35:28Speaker 8: Yeah, it's just like pretty much like a smaller pod
- 35:31Speaker 8: and then a smaller like TV screen.
- 35:33Speaker 4: And that said, I can't imagine. I can't imagine that
- 35:36Speaker 4: I would ever want to do a flight that long
- 35:38Speaker 4: and just even regular economy, Like I don't know how
- 35:41Speaker 4: people do.
- 35:41Speaker 6: I've done it four times.
- 35:43Speaker 4: Yeah, why Like And that's the thing. It's like I
- 35:44Speaker 4: would just rather not you would take it. You don't
- 35:47Speaker 4: have to, that's the thing.
- 35:48Speaker 2: You don't. I would rather not go, save save a
- 35:51Speaker 2: little bit longer, yeah, you know, a little bit, so
- 35:54Speaker 2: this flight forever.
- 35:56Speaker 8: Now, the whole flight, I was just thinking like how
- 35:59Speaker 8: could I make this my life?
- 36:00Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 36:01Speaker 8: Yeah, this is all I do. Because we were there
- 36:03Speaker 8: with also there was a family on the way back,
- 36:06Speaker 8: little kids.
- 36:07Speaker 2: The little kid has still had.
- 36:08Speaker 4: To pay thirty grand yeaheah. She was never in that pod. Yeah,
- 36:12Speaker 4: like she was either with her dad and his pod
- 36:15Speaker 4: or the mod in their pody.
- 36:17Speaker 2: But that's their life. Yeah yeah, they say, yeah, yeah.
- 36:20Speaker 7: Do you guys know how much the tickets for business.
- 36:23Speaker 10: Class go for?
- 36:23Speaker 8: No, but I want to look that up. Yeah, but
- 36:25Speaker 8: it was uh really cool.
- 36:27Speaker 6: Would you say that the way back was just as good?
- 36:29Speaker 1: Uh?
- 36:30Speaker 4: No, because the Wi Fi and the way back didn't
- 36:32Speaker 4: work at all?
- 36:32Speaker 2: Oh no, no, yeah, I mean.
- 36:35Speaker 6: I was texting you some pretty horrible memes and you
- 36:37Speaker 6: weren't responding.
- 36:38Speaker 10: Yeah, it made a refund.
- 36:40Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 36:40Speaker 2: What about the actual flight? Was it smooth?
- 36:42Speaker 4: And oh yeah yeah yeaheah. The plane is so big, man,
- 36:45Speaker 4: it's uh. They also as an aviation freak. They they
- 36:48Speaker 4: have cameras that are posted on the front of the
- 36:50Speaker 4: plane like that knows the plane.
- 36:53Speaker 2: And then there's one.
- 36:53Speaker 4: That's like kind of on the tail that looks down
- 36:56Speaker 4: over the fuselage with the wings and you see like
- 36:58Speaker 4: the as you're flying, and there's one on the all
- 37:00Speaker 4: the other planet looks straight down and you can see
- 37:02Speaker 4: like what you're flying directly over.
- 37:03Speaker 2: So you could watch the landing and everything.
- 37:05Speaker 4: You could watch everything, it was so it was so cool. Yeah,
- 37:08Speaker 4: what a waste of money would be eight hours of sleep? No, dude,
- 37:11Speaker 4: you're one way was sixteen hours? Yeah, and then there
- 37:14Speaker 4: was still another sixteen and a half hours back.
- 37:17Speaker 6: Yeah, I think like we did. Okay, Yeah, gotta sleep.
- 37:20Speaker 6: I would say, what a waste to have a bed
- 37:21Speaker 6: and not sleep. Yeah, That's how I would look.
- 37:23Speaker 4: At it, you know what, In a way, it was
- 37:26Speaker 4: all part of the experience, Like sixteen hours is a
- 37:28Speaker 4: long time.
- 37:29Speaker 6: That's what I'm saying. Like, if I didn't get to
- 37:31Speaker 6: try sleeping, I'd.
- 37:32Speaker 4: Be like, yeah, you could try all the food you
- 37:34Speaker 4: could watch in the library, on the plane of movies
- 37:37Speaker 4: that you have to choose from over two thousand titles
- 37:40Speaker 4: aling on.
- 37:41Speaker 8: Also, I mean I didn't want to stay up the
- 37:44Speaker 8: whole time because I actually wanted to experience Dubai when
- 37:47Speaker 8: we landed, just like what, yeah.
- 37:48Speaker 4: Which we're going to get to medic in his Dubai
- 37:51Speaker 4: experience and then very different my Dubai experience, uh huh uh,
- 37:55Speaker 4: And we'll do that when we come back after the
- 37:56Speaker 4: break eight seven seven forty four wood He hit us
- 37:58Speaker 4: up with the text over to two nine eight seven.
- 38:01Speaker 2: The Woody Show returs right after these messages.
- 38:04Speaker 1: I had more and coach there over before.
- 38:12Speaker 4: Breaking news, Greg Gory had to take a major out
- 38:15Speaker 4: at work. Not since the fall of Rome has there
- 38:17Speaker 4: been this much devastation on death.
- 38:20Speaker 2: Woody, Woody, Woody, And now back to the Woody Show.
- 38:26Speaker 4: Yeah, we were talking about menace in my extreme weekend
- 38:29Speaker 4: trip to Dubai. Yeah, we did over the weekend, sixteen
- 38:34Speaker 4: hours to Dubai, thirteen hours on the ground in Dubai,
- 38:37Speaker 4: and then sixteen and a.
- 38:38Speaker 2: Half hours back amazing.
- 38:40Speaker 4: And yeah, so again we spent this last seven just
- 38:44Speaker 4: kind of talking about the plane and what that was
- 38:46Speaker 4: all about.
- 38:46Speaker 2: It's an Airbus.
- 38:48Speaker 4: Eight three eighty And just to give you an idea
- 38:50Speaker 4: of the scale, Greg, uh huh.
- 38:52Speaker 2: So here is a picture I'm gonna show Greg.
- 38:55Speaker 4: So this is a regular Southwest jet right, Yeah, Southwest
- 39:00Speaker 4: they fly all the.
- 39:01Speaker 2: Same planes, so just for scale, they look huge. This
- 39:04Speaker 2: is an overhead.
- 39:04Speaker 4: Shot of one of the planes that looked like we
- 39:07Speaker 4: were on next to two Southwest planes.
- 39:09Speaker 2: It's like at all, it doesn't.
- 39:15Speaker 4: Picture of just a regular American Airlines jet in front
- 39:19Speaker 4: on a on a taxiway in front of one of
- 39:23Speaker 4: the airbus A three eighties.
- 39:28Speaker 6: It looks like a toy.
- 39:30Speaker 2: Yeah, it does it. It's great to here you go, Sam.
- 39:32Speaker 2: It's beyond reality.
- 39:33Speaker 4: Yeah, it's it's huge. Anyway, so we land in Dubai.
- 39:37Speaker 4: Menace in the listener, who, by the way, Richard, super
- 39:39Speaker 4: cool guy. Uh, super normal, not annoying, very cool dude.
- 39:44Speaker 4: So we shout out to Richard. He was he was great,
- 39:47Speaker 4: and so uh we get to the airport. I told
- 39:50Speaker 4: you now, I'll tell my story quickly because it's it's
- 39:52Speaker 4: not very excited.
- 39:54Speaker 2: I did not leave the airport like I said. I
- 39:57Speaker 2: just I'm my only.
- 39:58Speaker 4: My only interest in this was to see the plane,
- 40:01Speaker 4: which I did. Got to Dubai and I booked. There's
- 40:05Speaker 4: a hotel inside the terminal at the Dubai airport which
- 40:08Speaker 4: is massive, and it's a five star hotel, very nice.
- 40:12Speaker 4: I had thirteen hours, so I got this room and
- 40:15Speaker 4: it's a beautiful room, like a sharper image massage chair
- 40:19Speaker 4: in there this whole day. But right downstairs on the
- 40:22Speaker 4: on the first floor, obviously, is this giant like duty
- 40:25Speaker 4: free mall. Everything from the Lego store to a Nike
- 40:27Speaker 4: store to apphole store like all kinds Oh yeah, they
- 40:30Speaker 4: had all kinds of stuff at bud Wiser restaurant, like
- 40:33Speaker 4: so I walked just to get some walking in. I
- 40:36Speaker 4: walked around there, came back to the room, got a
- 40:38Speaker 4: bunch of work done for this week, just sitting in
- 40:40Speaker 4: the room listening the Christmas music. Samuel Yeah, I heard
- 40:44Speaker 4: a bunch of Christmas music in the mall plants.
- 40:45Speaker 2: I'm like, yeah, they had like Christmas trees everywhere. Oh yeah, So.
- 40:50Speaker 4: I got I got that work done, made a couple
- 40:52Speaker 4: of phone calls because it was like normal hours back homes. Dad,
- 40:56Speaker 4: talked to my mom, talked to my wife, and then
- 40:58Speaker 4: I booked myself because it's a twenty four hour spa
- 41:02Speaker 4: at the hotel. I booked a two hour massage. Two hours,
- 41:06Speaker 4: two hours. I got the most amazing massage. It was
- 41:09Speaker 4: like one of the best. And I've gotten a lot
- 41:10Speaker 4: of massage, you know, I love massage. It was one
- 41:12Speaker 4: of the best massages I've ever had in my entire life.
- 41:15Speaker 10: Made different.
- 41:16Speaker 2: The the therapist was so good.
- 41:18Speaker 4: It was like it wasn't painful, but it was just
- 41:21Speaker 4: the pressure and just so rejuvenating, refreshing.
- 41:25Speaker 2: It was it was it was everywhere. It was so weird.
- 41:32Speaker 4: And then I went back to the room, I showered.
- 41:34Speaker 4: I had about an hour to kill before it's time
- 41:36Speaker 4: to go back to the gate to get on the plane.
- 41:38Speaker 2: So that was my Dubai experience. Now menace.
- 41:41Speaker 8: Yeah, so this second it was crazy because we're getting
- 41:44Speaker 8: off the plane and there was somebody already waiting for
- 41:47Speaker 8: Woody to take them to.
- 41:48Speaker 4: Walk me to the hotel. No, they didn't, thank god,
- 41:53Speaker 4: they did. The airport's massive.
- 41:56Speaker 8: Richard and I Richard being the listener, We went out
- 42:01Speaker 8: of the airport and they already had a car waiting
- 42:03Speaker 8: for us, like super nice BMW and then we immediately
- 42:07Speaker 8: go to the Dubai Mall slash Birch Kleifa Birch Kleifa,
- 42:12Speaker 8: tallest building in the world. And rich had a different
- 42:17Speaker 8: he had a different time to go toward the Birge.
- 42:20Speaker 2: So yeah, because you have to make make an appointment.
- 42:22Speaker 8: Yeah, and so he went and did that, and he
- 42:25Speaker 8: also wanted to check out all the fountains and then
- 42:27Speaker 8: this little night market that they have outside of the Birge.
- 42:30Speaker 8: So he went and did that. I went inside the
- 42:32Speaker 8: mall and I'm telling you, this mall is so incredible
- 42:38Speaker 8: that if you're like super super balling. They have like
- 42:42Speaker 8: these high end golf carts that will take you around shopping.
- 42:46Speaker 2: In the mall.
- 42:46Speaker 8: And they looked like little like rolls royces and like
- 42:50Speaker 8: so people are just like in there and they're just
- 42:52Speaker 8: like sitting in them. And then I haven't I haven't posted,
- 42:55Speaker 8: and I'll do like extended cuts of a lot of
- 42:57Speaker 8: stuff that we did over the weekend. I just wanted
- 42:59Speaker 8: to get some things up on our social but I
- 43:02Speaker 8: did send that video to you, Greg. And the bathroom
- 43:06Speaker 8: just at the mall, Okay, is like a high end hotel.
- 43:10Speaker 8: It's full door. There was like fifteen in a row,
- 43:13Speaker 8: and it's not like and they had bathroom attendants and
- 43:15Speaker 8: it's not like they're trying to sell you candy or
- 43:17Speaker 8: anything like that, like people actually cleaning the bathroom. The
- 43:20Speaker 8: second somebody gets out of the stall, it is like
- 43:24Speaker 8: it's exactly yeah. And they just they had all these
- 43:26Speaker 8: little towels that said do you buy mall in it?
- 43:29Speaker 8: And then so they have like aquarium, they have they
- 43:32Speaker 8: have ice skating roast.
- 43:33Speaker 2: The aquarium was at the mall. I saw your footage
- 43:37Speaker 2: from the Aquirmum where's that? Yeah, it was at the
- 43:40Speaker 2: so the mall bathroom. It's actual like cloth towels, now,
- 43:44Speaker 2: did you coka? Not at the hotel. Okay, but I'll
- 43:47Speaker 2: get to that. But because of all that food on
- 43:51Speaker 2: the plane.
- 43:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:53Speaker 8: And then also I found that the the items I
- 43:57Speaker 8: don't know because maybe it's you know, cost money to
- 44:00Speaker 8: get it to America, but like exclusive like tennis shoes
- 44:03Speaker 8: that I wanted that I can't find anywhere else. They're
- 44:06Speaker 8: there at the mall and they're cheaper. So this like
- 44:09Speaker 8: pair of shoes that I almost bought, I'll tell you
- 44:11Speaker 8: four hundred bucks like a week and a half ago,
- 44:13Speaker 8: or two hundred fifty bucks really at the mall there. Yeah,
- 44:17Speaker 8: and they had like so many more.
- 44:18Speaker 4: Differences to at the Yeah. Next I went to the
- 44:21Speaker 4: Nikes for I'm like, oh, those are cool. I know,
- 44:22Speaker 4: Nikes aren't cool any more, guys, I still ye them. Yeah,
- 44:26Speaker 4: but yeah, so they had all this exclusive stuff.
- 44:29Speaker 8: And then so then I took a tour of the
- 44:32Speaker 8: Birge and went all the way to the top and
- 44:34Speaker 8: it's just insane because of all the lights and like
- 44:36Speaker 8: the buildings that they have.
- 44:37Speaker 4: Everywhere, and what time of day was that that it
- 44:39Speaker 4: was like overnight, dude, So we landed. The plane landed
- 44:41Speaker 4: at seven thirty pm.
- 44:43Speaker 2: Okay, Saturday night Dubai time. Yeah.
- 44:45Speaker 8: So I think I finished up at the Birds at
- 44:47Speaker 8: around eleven pm, and then our flight left the next morning,
- 44:50Speaker 8: Sunday morning Dubai time, at eight thirty Okay, so all
- 44:53Speaker 8: this happened overnight.
- 44:55Speaker 2: Everything is still open, Yeah, twenty four hour place. That's great.
- 44:58Speaker 8: So then h so I go to them all a
- 45:00Speaker 8: little bit more, and then Rich and I we meet
- 45:02Speaker 8: up again. I said, hey, do you want to go
- 45:04Speaker 8: to this other part of Dubai where they stay open
- 45:07Speaker 8: really late. It's another like outdoor shopping mall area. It's
- 45:10Speaker 8: called City Walk, and we hit up raisin canes together
- 45:14Speaker 8: just because for a.
- 45:17Speaker 2: Then we buy raising cane. Yeah.
- 45:18Speaker 8: And then we also hit up this place called Brass
- 45:20Speaker 8: Monkey that I saw. Now I didn't post it, but
- 45:23Speaker 8: you could actually drink there, so we did have alcohol.
- 45:26Speaker 8: Like it's a so you can drink and Dubai this fi,
- 45:30Speaker 8: but it's just in certain sections. And they they just
- 45:34Speaker 8: asked you, hey, don't be posting on social media, like
- 45:36Speaker 8: there's little signs, so just don't post. Don't post the alcohol,
- 45:39Speaker 8: but the rules there, Yeah, you know, I'm not going
- 45:42Speaker 8: to try to get away with anything. So yeah, so
- 45:45Speaker 8: we did some bowling.
- 45:46Speaker 10: And then yeah, where did you do the bowling?
- 45:48Speaker 8: At this place called Brass Monkey and that stays open
- 45:50Speaker 8: to like three am.
- 45:51Speaker 2: That was awesome. Yeah, and then we went around the
- 45:53Speaker 2: city a little bit more.
- 45:54Speaker 8: We tried to go over to Atlantis and because I
- 45:57Speaker 8: misread that you could go there twenty four hours a day,
- 46:00Speaker 8: but we tried to go there at like three am,
- 46:02Speaker 8: and they're like, no, unless you're like staying at Lances,
- 46:06Speaker 8: you can't do that. But if it was during the day,
- 46:08Speaker 8: we could have went in. It went in. So then
- 46:10Speaker 8: we saw we like saw all these like super high
- 46:13Speaker 8: end car dealerships are just like Ferraris, uh Rose Royce, everything,
- 46:18Speaker 8: every like high end card you can think of in
- 46:20Speaker 8: this like their shopping mall area which just yeah.
- 46:23Speaker 4: It's just it's just there like the Ford dealer is
- 46:27Speaker 4: at home. It was crazy, but you know, we definitely
- 46:30Speaker 4: want to spend more time there. The word I used,
- 46:32Speaker 4: and just it's from my very limited experience of just
- 46:35Speaker 4: the airport is opulence.
- 46:37Speaker 16: Yeah, you know that's what they're about, dude. It is
- 46:40Speaker 16: all this over the top even you know the Hudson
- 46:45Speaker 16: news stand, you see whatever. Okay, so it's that, but
- 46:48Speaker 16: there's a whole like refrigerated case just for caviar at
- 46:53Speaker 16: the news stand.
- 46:55Speaker 2: Yeah, it was nuts.
- 46:56Speaker 8: And then we're like, well we started, we have to
- 46:58Speaker 8: start heading back now. So we go back to the
- 47:01Speaker 8: airport and the Emirates Lounge there is the biggest one
- 47:05Speaker 8: in the world. It's one hundred thousand square feet. It's massive,
- 47:09Speaker 8: and it has all this super high end food, like sushi,
- 47:12Speaker 8: sam like sandwiches that you would find in Italy's somewhere,
- 47:16Speaker 8: and just like anything that you wanted. So then we
- 47:18Speaker 8: end up hanging out there and then we met up
- 47:20Speaker 8: with Wood again and got back on the plane.
- 47:22Speaker 6: Was it hard to go back to your customs?
- 47:24Speaker 8: No, not at all. It took like thirty seconds.
- 47:26Speaker 6: Nice, it was awesome.
- 47:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I love it. It's it was quite the experience.
- 47:30Speaker 1: Man.
- 47:30Speaker 2: It was then really cool. Men, is having traveled around Dubai,
- 47:33Speaker 2: are there any quote bad parts of town or is
- 47:36Speaker 2: it all gorgeous?
- 47:37Speaker 8: Not in the parts that I visited at all. Also,
- 47:40Speaker 8: like people say, oh, they're super strict, Like when I
- 47:43Speaker 8: went to the mall, like all the women there are
- 47:46Speaker 8: just like they're they're not covered up, they're dressed. They're
- 47:50Speaker 8: just dressed really nice. Yeah I saw women, yeah normally
- 47:53Speaker 8: and then I mean there were some women that were
- 47:56Speaker 8: covered up, but that's you know, that's their choice. But
- 47:59Speaker 8: then I saw women like bikini strap tops and stuff
- 48:03Speaker 8: like that. Oh really yeah, it was awesome. I loved it.
- 48:07Speaker 4: Well, you won't see them there today, No, No, this
- 48:10Speaker 4: is sure. They've been removed.
- 48:14Speaker 8: No, they're yeah, they're just shopping, shopping throughout the entire
- 48:17Speaker 8: mall and just living their life.
- 48:19Speaker 2: But I'll say that my jeers was that.
- 48:21Speaker 8: You know, I got to the burge and I got
- 48:23Speaker 8: out all the way up to the top within one minute.
- 48:25Speaker 8: And that's one hundred and fifty four floors, I believe, right,
- 48:29Speaker 8: super fast. Then I get back to work and this
- 48:32Speaker 8: is my gears. I try to use the elevator here
- 48:34Speaker 8: not working.
- 48:38Speaker 2: That's a reality a lot.
- 48:39Speaker 4: I really had no gear for the weekend. The only
- 48:42Speaker 4: thing I can think of was the flight. On the
- 48:44Speaker 4: way back, the Wi Fi didn't work at all, Like.
- 48:47Speaker 2: On the start working. We started getting over Canada.
- 48:50Speaker 4: On the way there, they had it, but it was
- 48:52Speaker 4: one of those it's not starlinks, so you can't like
- 48:55Speaker 4: send pictures or video.
- 48:56Speaker 2: You can't stream, but not.
- 48:58Speaker 4: That you needed it, because, like I said, the the
- 49:00Speaker 4: onboard Entertainment over two thousand movies to choose from.
- 49:03Speaker 6: Every fine, and I.
- 49:04Speaker 4: Downloaded a bunch of stuff to an iPad and totally fine.
- 49:06Speaker 4: But just for keeping in touch with people, because you know,
- 49:08Speaker 4: my parents are very nervous, like, oh my god, I
- 49:10Speaker 4: can't believe you're doing so just to kind of touch
- 49:12Speaker 4: base with people like that would be the only but
- 49:14Speaker 4: they have I guess Emirates is they're installing Starlink on
- 49:20Speaker 4: all of their planes and it's gonna be done by March.
- 49:23Speaker 2: So what we do it next year? So next time,
- 49:25Speaker 2: you know you next time we'll all go with you. Yeah.
- 49:28Speaker 8: Yeah, I'll definitely post like extended versions of the plane
- 49:32Speaker 8: later today. I just wanted to get some stuff up.
- 49:34Speaker 8: It was kind of you know, I'm trying to like
- 49:36Speaker 8: run around to buy and edit video at the same
- 49:38Speaker 8: time and post it so people can see what's going on.
- 49:41Speaker 4: Well, you can see what I got so far. It's
- 49:43Speaker 4: up on our Instagram at the Woody Show. Check it
- 49:45Speaker 4: out there.
- 49:46Speaker 2: Menace.
- 49:46Speaker 4: Something crossed off the bucket list everything for years.
- 49:51Speaker 2: For years we've heard about that, what a great year
- 49:53Speaker 2: is there on the jetway to when you're boarding the plane.
- 49:57Speaker 2: Are there multiple jetways? Yes, so you can bore a
- 50:00Speaker 2: lot of people at the same time. Yeah, there were,
- 50:02Speaker 2: there were two. Wow, but I did hit one for upstairs,
- 50:05Speaker 2: one for downstairs. I did love.
- 50:07Speaker 8: Every time we were telling like the flight attendants what
- 50:10Speaker 8: we were doing, They're like, you're doing what? Oh yeah, wait,
- 50:13Speaker 8: you're going there for thirteen hours?
- 50:15Speaker 2: Really? Yeah?
- 50:16Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, nobody, nobody had anything, just like I know,
- 50:18Speaker 4: I just wanted to see the plane, like, oh my god,
- 50:20Speaker 4: that's yeah.
- 50:22Speaker 2: Everyone really nice.
- 50:23Speaker 4: So shout out to Emirates Airlines not a sponsor, but.
- 50:25Speaker 2: They totally should before. Yeah, it was.
- 50:28Speaker 4: It was really cool and uh, the the people of
- 50:31Speaker 4: the Dubai were super cool. I have like everybody had
- 50:36Speaker 4: any interaction with just super cool.
- 50:39Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 50:39Speaker 17: In one weekend ye yeah, Woody show text in nine
- 50:45Speaker 17: eight seven, Well.
- 50:50Speaker 4: We spent all this time talking about, uh between medic
- 50:55Speaker 4: and I are our weekend cheer. Yeah yeah, the extreme
- 51:01Speaker 4: weekend trip to Dubai. I guess we just kind of.
- 51:05Speaker 2: Get this out of the way.
- 51:06Speaker 4: The opposite end of that was what Greg and Sammy
- 51:12Speaker 4: I got experienced over the weekend. I guess Greg, we'll
- 51:15Speaker 4: start with you weekend cheers and jeers.
- 51:17Speaker 2: Yeah, the polar opposite of you, where you had no jeer.
- 51:19Speaker 2: I really had no cheer. I'm going to start with
- 51:22Speaker 2: my jeers because that's what my weekend was. I was
- 51:25Speaker 2: so damn sick. And you know how you're supposed to
- 51:28Speaker 2: get ten thousand steps a day. Yeah, I maybe got ten.
- 51:33Speaker 2: Yeah maybe, I mean that's being generous. It was awful.
- 51:37Speaker 2: Glide around, did nothing, sneezing, coughing, sore throat. It was
- 51:41Speaker 2: like breathing in fire. Didn't even leave. It sucked. I
- 51:45Speaker 2: hated this weekend. I watched a flat earth documentary that
- 51:48Speaker 2: got me angry because people are so stupid. Oh, I
- 51:54Speaker 2: couldn't believe it. I thought, just at least I can
- 51:56Speaker 2: watch something interesting and a flat earthers you're on the
- 51:59Speaker 2: level of insanity that is just uncompromised. Did they talk
- 52:04Speaker 2: about Yeah, I mean the whole they did, and they
- 52:07Speaker 2: never say who they are. They are fooling us, They
- 52:11Speaker 2: want us to. They gave us globes when we were kids,
- 52:16Speaker 2: so like, not only was I sick, I was like
- 52:19Speaker 2: angry watching this insane documentary.
- 52:22Speaker 8: They say in the documentary why they are keeping it secret?
- 52:25Speaker 2: No, they never anything so dumb.
- 52:28Speaker 8: They've ever told me once. Why they're keeping a secret
- 52:31Speaker 8: is because it would if the earth was flat, it
- 52:35Speaker 8: would prove that God is real.
- 52:37Speaker 2: Oh okay, no, they never mentioned that, So a giant jeer.
- 52:40Speaker 2: My only cheer is that I did leave the house
- 52:43Speaker 2: last night to go to a dinner party at a
- 52:44Speaker 2: friend's house. And by dinner party, it was just the
- 52:46Speaker 2: three of us and it was like stepping into a magazine.
- 52:49Speaker 2: Her house is insanely gorgeous. The food was perfect, everything
- 52:54Speaker 2: was presented like a magazine, and I felt very nice.
- 52:56Speaker 2: And that was it. I was out of the house
- 52:58Speaker 2: for three hours. Well this did something. Yeah, yeah, I
- 53:01Speaker 2: did one thing and that was nice. But yeah, what
- 53:03Speaker 2: a terrible weekend.
- 53:05Speaker 7: Yeah, Sammy, kind of the same, kind of the same.
- 53:07Speaker 7: But to be clear, I did stuff. I went to
- 53:09Speaker 7: a whole white kind of festival thing on Friday.
- 53:12Speaker 6: I do a Christmas.
- 53:13Speaker 7: Parade on Saturday, and which was fun. But the thing
- 53:17Speaker 7: was was I was sick and then I was started
- 53:20Speaker 7: to feel better, so I went and did things and
- 53:22Speaker 7: then Saturday night it just hit me and I was
- 53:24Speaker 7: so sick, and so that is a real bummer.
- 53:28Speaker 2: But I took niquill.
- 53:30Speaker 7: I remembered I had ni quill that night, and oh
- 53:33Speaker 7: my god, I took niquill and I passed out for
- 53:35Speaker 7: twelve hours. So even though I did stuff, my biggest
- 53:38Speaker 7: cheers is passing out for twelve hours thanks to night Will.
- 53:41Speaker 2: It was the best.
- 53:42Speaker 4: The night Quill day, Quill musen x d slash just
- 53:46Speaker 4: so much. You gotta take so much fluid, yeah, that
- 53:50Speaker 4: you feel like you're almost overdoing it. Like you remember
- 53:52Speaker 4: that the woman that there was an infamous radio contest
- 53:56Speaker 4: that happened where it was called hold your wik for
- 53:58Speaker 4: a week and people drinking without going to the bathroom.
- 54:01Speaker 4: Whoever could hold their pee the longest would have won
- 54:03Speaker 4: this Nintendo, which was the big thing at the time.
- 54:06Speaker 4: And uh, there was a woman who died. Yeah, because
- 54:09Speaker 4: you basically drowned yourself. They have to do it like
- 54:11Speaker 4: one step before that. Because everybody I've talked to, people
- 54:16Speaker 4: who live on the opposite side of the country, everybody
- 54:19Speaker 4: who I'm talking to, everybody.
- 54:20Speaker 2: Has the same damn thing.
- 54:21Speaker 4: Yeah, every it's just every It's just everywhere, right, now,
- 54:25Speaker 4: so just yeah, just just.
- 54:27Speaker 2: Hydrate d night quill at night, day quill during the day.
- 54:33Speaker 8: And you know, did you try to hydrate with champagne,
- 54:36Speaker 8: because that's what I did.
- 54:38Speaker 7: I did, and also some light beers. I tried that
- 54:42Speaker 7: And I'm like, why am I still feeling sick?
- 54:44Speaker 2: This is so weird to remind her about that.
- 54:47Speaker 4: That that flat earth offer from Columbia Sports where you
- 54:50Speaker 4: know that, Yeah, I love that. Yeah, Columbia Sports where
- 54:54Speaker 4: they their CEO made an announcement they'll give you the
- 54:57Speaker 4: entire company if you.
- 54:58Speaker 2: I am Timboil, I'm the ceo. Here sportswear and this
- 55:01Speaker 2: message just for flat earthers. You guys claim there's an
- 55:05Speaker 2: end to the earth.
- 55:06Speaker 14: We'll just go snap a picture, send it to us,
- 55:10Speaker 14: and you get the assets of the.
- 55:11Speaker 2: Company, all of it.
- 55:13Speaker 14: No paperwork, no lawyers, no catches, some paperwork.
- 55:18Speaker 5: Hey, we're giving you all this, this and all of that.
- 55:23Speaker 2: Hey, flat earthers, do me a favor. You're going to
- 55:26Speaker 2: the edge of the earth. We're Columbia. You'll need it.
- 55:31Speaker 2: I love that guy, Go do it.
- 55:33Speaker 4: That's a shame that was the only thing that was
- 55:35Speaker 4: on TV. Greg, you know, because you're already not feeling well.
- 55:37Speaker 2: Then the only on TV it was a maddening one
- 55:46Speaker 2: and Gina Grad's got the trending news headline, Oh.
- 55:49Speaker 6: It hasn't been a good year for the Charlotte, North
- 55:51Speaker 6: Carolina light rail system. Over the weekend, some thirty three
- 55:54Speaker 6: year old douchebags stabbed somebody. Greg, was this a whole
- 55:58Speaker 6: drunk Oh you bet, yeah, that's right. He got into
- 56:00Speaker 6: an argument with the passenger, tried to fight him, then
- 56:02Speaker 6: he pulled out a knife stab the guy. The victim
- 56:05Speaker 6: was taken to the hospital where he's in critical but
- 56:07Speaker 6: stable condition. The stabber arrested and charged with attempted first
- 56:11Speaker 6: degree murder and assault with the deadly weapon, among other things.
- 56:14Speaker 6: And if you remember, this is the second attack in
- 56:17Speaker 6: five months on Charlotte's light rail system. I'm sure most
- 56:20Speaker 6: people do remember the story of that young Ukrainian woman
- 56:23Speaker 6: who jabbed yeah, then killed back in August. Well, the
- 56:27Speaker 6: start of awards season is here now that the Golden
- 56:30Speaker 6: Globe noms have been released. The awards are of course
- 56:33Speaker 6: for TV and movies, and the ceremony will be hosted
- 56:36Speaker 6: by Nicki Glazer, who always does a great job with these.
- 56:39Speaker 6: As for the nominations. Here's what we got. For Best
- 56:41Speaker 6: TV Comedy, the nominations are abbed Elementary Hacks, the Bear.
- 56:46Speaker 6: Nobody wants this, only murders in the building and the studio.
- 56:50Speaker 8: Yeah, the Bear, nobody wants this. It's not a comedy.
- 56:54Speaker 8: It hasn't been good since the first season.
- 56:57Speaker 6: For Best Drama, the nominations The Diplomat, the Pit Pluribus, Yes, Severans, Yes,
- 57:02Speaker 6: Slow Horses, never heard of It, and the White Lotus.

- 57:21Speaker 6: Drama nominations Frankenstein Hamnet it was just an accident, the
- 57:25Speaker 6: secret agent and sentimental value and sinners.
- 57:28Speaker 2: Who are aware.
- 57:29Speaker 5: I just I just had a girl telling me all
- 57:31Speaker 5: about Hamnet last night, and apparently it's based It's Shakespeare's
- 57:36Speaker 5: son was actually named Hamnet.
- 57:39Speaker 8: This was all thirdhand because I'm telling you what she
- 57:40Speaker 8: told me.
- 57:41Speaker 2: Huh.
- 57:41Speaker 5: And this is about like how you know, we we
- 57:44Speaker 5: didn't know this about Shakespeare, knew everything about Shakepeare except
- 57:46Speaker 5: for this and about how like.
- 57:47Speaker 8: That's how his Yeah, I think named hat again.
- 57:52Speaker 5: This is third hand. I haven't checked any of this information.
- 57:54Speaker 11: All right.
- 57:55Speaker 2: I thought he was nuclear gay?
- 57:58Speaker 8: Really yeah?
- 57:59Speaker 6: I mean, did you ever see Shakespeare in Love?
- 58:01Speaker 2: Gay people have kids?
- 58:03Speaker 1: Norman.
- 58:05Speaker 6: The entire list is online and the Golden globes will
- 58:07Speaker 6: be doled out on January eleventh, and Week fourteen of
- 58:11Speaker 6: the NFL nearly done, and it really shook up the
- 58:14Speaker 6: playoff picture. On Sunday Night Football, the Texans went into
- 58:17Speaker 6: Kansas City and just beat them twenty to ten. Houston's
- 58:21Speaker 6: defense dominated Patrick Mahomes with two sacks and three interceptions.
- 58:25Speaker 6: The Chiefs run of nine straight AFC West titles is
- 58:28Speaker 6: over and the Texans now lead the AFC South.
- 58:31Speaker 5: Sammy, does this put a bit of a pall on
- 58:33Speaker 5: the wedding plans that they had such a bad season
- 58:37Speaker 5: this year?
- 58:37Speaker 6: Oh damn, Taylor's still going to go through example, Yes,
- 58:41Speaker 6: she'll still marry him.
- 58:41Speaker 7: That's okay, But it is weird. I did think about that.
- 58:44Speaker 7: I think it is weird that right when they get engaged.
- 58:46Speaker 7: Now it's like, I don't know what's going on with
- 58:47Speaker 7: this season.
- 58:48Speaker 4: Well, he has to retire, you know, but he's had
- 58:51Speaker 4: a pretty decent season. Yeah that's team Sport, but I
- 58:55Speaker 4: mean his his season is.
- 58:57Speaker 6: But is he going to be a house husband?
- 58:59Speaker 8: I think because Lena Dunhoman was at the game. He's
- 59:02Speaker 8: talking about like what you like Taylor has.
- 59:07Speaker 4: Taylor has an abnormal amount of money, yes, right, yes,
- 59:10Speaker 4: and so, but Travis is not poor people. He gonna
- 59:14Speaker 4: be a house husband, like like Travis Kelsey has dumb
- 59:17Speaker 4: money all on his own, not Taylor Swift kind of money.
- 59:20Speaker 4: But again that's a whole that's a different conversation.
- 59:23Speaker 6: He don't care how much he has. He could retire happily.
- 59:29Speaker 5: House husband though unfortunately the media loves his his goofy ass.
- 59:32Speaker 5: So he's gonna be all over TV.
- 59:33Speaker 7: For and he still has this podcast which is very successful, and.
- 59:36Speaker 6: He's totally going to host a game show at some point.
- 59:39Speaker 4: You know, he doesn't he doesn't need her. That's why
- 59:41Speaker 4: I feel like this relationship because she doesn't need him.
- 59:45Speaker 4: He doesn't need her in that way. It's not in
- 59:47Speaker 4: one of those kind of relationships. Yeah, she's in a
- 59:50Speaker 4: completely different conversation when it comes to money.
- 59:53Speaker 2: It's but he is not he needs to win truly true.
- 59:58Speaker 7: Because actually j made more money than Tom Brady if
- 1:00:02Speaker 7: you recall, and I mean once he wasn't playing football
- 1:00:05Speaker 7: anymore at all.
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: Fell aparts.
- 1:00:06Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, what some jiu jitsu instructors showed up.
- 1:00:10Speaker 8: That's right.
- 1:00:11Speaker 6: Well, college football playoffs is set and championship weekend brought
- 1:00:15Speaker 6: some big changes. Indiana beat Ohio State in the Big
- 1:00:18Speaker 6: Ten title game to move to number one and earn
- 1:00:21Speaker 6: a first round by Ohio State drops number two. Georgia's
- 1:00:25Speaker 6: number three, and Texas Tech is number four, all with
- 1:00:28Speaker 6: buys as well. Here's the first round matchups. They are
- 1:00:31Speaker 6: number twelve Jmu versus number five, Oregon number eleven two
- 1:00:34Speaker 6: Lane at number six, Old Miss, number ten, Miami versus
- 1:00:38Speaker 6: number ten seven Texas A and M and number nine
- 1:00:41Speaker 6: Alabama versus number eight Oklahoma. BYU Notre Dame, Texas and
- 1:00:46Speaker 6: Vanderbilt were the biggest teams left out, but you got
- 1:00:48Speaker 6: to win to get in, and the playoffs began on
- 1:00:51Speaker 6: December nineteen.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: Notre Dame says they're not even going to accept any
- 1:00:54Speaker 4: bowl games.
- 1:00:55Speaker 5: Why so I looked at this as I saw a
- 1:00:57Speaker 5: take on this I think's pretty pretty accurate. Is that
- 1:01:00Speaker 5: now that they're not in and any kind of playoff.
- 1:01:03Speaker 5: All the kids who were good are going to forego
- 1:01:06Speaker 5: the bowl game anyway. So this is a way they
- 1:01:08Speaker 5: won't put out a garbage team and that's a bowl game.
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true.
- 1:01:11Speaker 5: Now they're still going to get They're still getting crapped
- 1:01:13Speaker 5: on left and right. Everybody said, oh, you pussy's going home.
- 1:01:15Speaker 5: You tod your ball because you didn't get invited to
- 1:01:17Speaker 5: the big dance. Yes, I think that still stands. Both
- 1:01:21Speaker 5: things could be right.
- 1:01:22Speaker 6: Well, the government is letting Southwest Airlines off the hook
- 1:01:24Speaker 6: for part of its big fine. Remember the twenty twenty
- 1:01:27Speaker 6: two winter storm AI system Oh my god, it was crazy,
- 1:01:31Speaker 6: canceled seventeen thousand flights, stranded millions of people during the holidays.
- 1:01:35Speaker 6: The airline agreed to pay one hundred and forty million
- 1:01:38Speaker 6: dollars in penalties, with most of that money going to
- 1:01:40Speaker 6: the passengers. Well, Southwest still owed the government thirty five million,
- 1:01:44Speaker 6: and they've already paid twenty four million. So now the
- 1:01:46Speaker 6: Department of Transportation they're doing something nice. They're forgiving the
- 1:01:49Speaker 6: final eleven million for.
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: The citizens too. Holiday that for me last time, yes,
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: season totally.
- 1:01:55Speaker 6: Officials say that decision comes after Southwest made improvements to
- 1:01:59Speaker 6: its operations and on time performance, basically rewarding the airline
- 1:02:03Speaker 6: for fixing the issues instead of just paying more penalties.
- 1:02:07Speaker 6: Sweet do that for us all the time, might as
- 1:02:09Speaker 6: well do it for the corporations.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: Well.
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: Speaking of paying, the powerball jackpot's still up for grabs.
- 1:02:15Speaker 6: No new winner in Saturday's drawing. Four lucky winners did
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: take home some money, though one one two million, Three
- 1:02:22Speaker 6: others won one million each. The jackpot now goes up
- 1:02:24Speaker 6: to eight hundred and seventy five million, makes it the
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: seventh highest prize in the game's history. The next drawing
- 1:02:31Speaker 6: is later tonight. In case you're wondering, as we always are,
- 1:02:33Speaker 6: at the estimated cash lump sum before taxes, four hundred
- 1:02:37Speaker 6: and three million dollars. Five nights at Freddy's two took
- 1:02:41Speaker 6: over the weekend box office. The movie's already made back
- 1:02:44Speaker 6: its budget and then some, despite having a rotten Tomato
- 1:02:47Speaker 6: score of any guesses.
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: Sixty nine Any other guess.
- 1:02:53Speaker 6: That would be fresh Greg twelve percent?
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: What was Oh Freddy Got Fingered? Every time I hear
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: that title, I think of that Tom Green remember to
- 1:03:02Speaker 4: Tom finger This.
- 1:03:04Speaker 6: Is basically like this is like a chuck e Cheese
- 1:03:07Speaker 6: gone crazy at least twenty five years later. Yeah, Zootopia
- 1:03:10Speaker 6: two fell to number two, even though it's nearing one
- 1:03:13Speaker 6: billion dollars worldwide. Wicked for Good moved to number three.
- 1:03:16Speaker 6: Oh Babe jiu jitsu kaison execution debut at number four,
- 1:03:20Speaker 6: and now you see me, Now you don't round it
- 1:03:22Speaker 6: out the top five. And finally you gotta wonder about
- 1:03:26Speaker 6: some of these people. Man, a Cinnabon employee in Wisconsin,
- 1:03:30Speaker 6: went viral on social media after she went on this
- 1:03:32Speaker 6: insane racist tirade.
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: Yeah I got a clipped.
- 1:03:35Speaker 6: Oh okay good. A Somali couple was doing some Christmas
- 1:03:38Speaker 6: shopping at the mall. They allegedly got into it with
- 1:03:40Speaker 6: the employee after she started making fun of the woman's
- 1:03:42Speaker 6: hit job. The video was uploaded to TikTok and went
- 1:03:46Speaker 6: viral instantly. Sounded a little something like this, I am racist.
- 1:03:53Speaker 4: Your q in mind like you're at the Cinnabon, right,
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: Yeah you think you're better than these people?
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: I'm saying just in general.
- 1:03:59Speaker 4: Liked why like just you could feel feel however you want,
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: but like you got your little job. Clearly things aren't
- 1:04:08Speaker 4: going great, you know, like things are already, I guess
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: pretty tough, Like, why make them harder than they need
- 1:04:13Speaker 4: to be? Just give them the goddamn Cinnamon retail about
- 1:04:19Speaker 4: to fight back on the use of racist. I think
- 1:04:21Speaker 4: he's thrown around a little too often.
- 1:04:22Speaker 5: But that's it's coming out of her own mouth.
- 1:04:31Speaker 11: The whole entire world.
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: Don't get life by the way, talking about you're talking
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: about you're talking about his sp You want a fire
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: for this? You're not going to be walking here? What
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: song is here?
- 1:04:47Speaker 4: Don't you know the person I ever seen in my life?
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: And if the sentmon roles weren't so delicious, I'd be
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: out of here.
- 1:04:59Speaker 6: I have to ass not as an excuse, but was
- 1:05:01Speaker 6: she high?
- 1:05:02Speaker 11: Like?
- 1:05:03Speaker 6: Are you on dry? You go that crazy?
- 1:05:04Speaker 10: Is there something going on there?
- 1:05:05Speaker 8: When she said suck it? She did do the d
- 1:05:07Speaker 8: X suck hit from.
- 1:05:11Speaker 5: He even offered her, hey to suck what?
- 1:05:13Speaker 8: Yeah, you perfect opening to throw in anything you look there?
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: So I had it rough for a minute. He had
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: to go back working at the.
- 1:05:18Speaker 6: Cinnamon and kept his head down and did his job
- 1:05:21Speaker 6: exactly right well.
- 1:05:21Speaker 8: Cinnabon released a statement of course that William.
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: They don't align with her album.
- 1:05:27Speaker 6: She was fired this yeah, but.
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: Wouldn't that be something better?
- 1:05:33Speaker 4: But hold it, wouldn't that be something like just just
- 1:05:35Speaker 4: as like as a joke that they if I got
- 1:05:36Speaker 4: a corporation like it came out just for fun, just
- 1:05:39Speaker 4: to be like, you know what, we support her and
- 1:05:41Speaker 4: then just let.
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: Everybody freak out.
- 1:05:42Speaker 4: Four hours and everybody goes like they have like some
- 1:05:45Speaker 4: kind of notarized things saying we're just kidding, like she's
- 1:05:48Speaker 4: so fired employees.
- 1:05:49Speaker 8: Stock prices, lest the news would lose their mind and
- 1:05:53Speaker 8: would melt down.
- 1:05:55Speaker 6: Well, it gets better because a fundraiser has been set
- 1:05:58Speaker 6: up for a little miss racist and she has raised
- 1:06:01Speaker 6: over ninety one thousand dollars. What society do we do that?
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: Yeah, that's real.
- 1:06:09Speaker 5: I mean that it's in the story so funny because
- 1:06:11Speaker 5: they love there's names on there a lot of times.
- 1:06:13Speaker 4: I'm gonna see you a little extra racist cinnabon lady
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: comes up, I will definitely.
- 1:06:20Speaker 8: Take that down to God.
- 1:06:22Speaker 6: Well that's what's going on, all right, Thank you very.
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: Much to Grad. More Woody Show coming up, The Woody Show.
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: We'll be right right right right.
- 1:06:36Speaker 18: Show and back at it on their new week ahead
- 1:06:44Speaker 18: of us, Grad, what about your weekend cheers and jeers.
- 1:06:50Speaker 6: I got a big old cheers to fifty cent for
- 1:06:53Speaker 6: just being the the most unapologetic hater of all time.
- 1:06:59Speaker 6: I can't get enough. I can't get enough of the
- 1:07:01Speaker 6: clips of him on ABC because allegedly and he.
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: Reaches Yeah, I saw this, allegedly.
- 1:07:07Speaker 6: Taking all these like local news interviews because he knows
- 1:07:12Speaker 6: they play those in prison because their network TV.
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: Yeah. ABC.
- 1:07:16Speaker 4: Oh, I guess one of the stations that's on in
- 1:07:18Speaker 4: all the prison so I'm sure that everybody where did
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: he's locked up.
- 1:07:23Speaker 6: I can't take it. It's so funny. I watched the
- 1:07:25Speaker 6: first two last night, and I mean, I get I
- 1:07:28Speaker 6: think we all kind of knew a lot of this,
- 1:07:31Speaker 6: but it is pretty damning. And fifty just hates him
- 1:07:35Speaker 6: so much. I love because in this day and age,
- 1:07:37Speaker 6: everyone's like me, I didn't do it, what do you
- 1:07:39Speaker 6: mean TI? And he's just out there unapologetically just hate.
- 1:07:43Speaker 6: I need to step up my hater game. This guy
- 1:07:45Speaker 6: is like getting us new goals. I love him. I
- 1:07:47Speaker 6: think this is hilarious.
- 1:07:48Speaker 4: So did you see where? Apparently and I don't know
- 1:07:51Speaker 4: like how real this is, but I mean, fifty cent
- 1:07:53Speaker 4: posts this as well. Somebody sent an arrangement of funeral
- 1:07:56Speaker 4: flowers to this place in Miami where fifty Cent was performing,
- 1:08:01Speaker 4: and apparently it was from Diddy, like Diddy sent this
- 1:08:05Speaker 4: funeral like R I P.
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: Fifty Cent?
- 1:08:08Speaker 4: Like all right, is there anybody like that? Like I
- 1:08:12Speaker 4: forget who the other person in the hip hop world?
- 1:08:15Speaker 4: All dude, don't talk smack about him, like you'd be
- 1:08:17Speaker 4: in serious danger? Aren't those days kind of over? Just
- 1:08:22Speaker 4: like it was it the game or like there was
- 1:08:25Speaker 4: somebody like that, Like we're like, oh, man, don't let
- 1:08:27Speaker 4: anybody say nothing about blah blah blah.
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: Could you be in danger? Is anybody really scared.
- 1:08:32Speaker 4: Of of Diddy?
- 1:08:34Speaker 8: Well, I mean allegedly he blew up K's car.
- 1:08:38Speaker 6: Yeah, he's pretty insane and a lot of allegations exactly.
- 1:08:42Speaker 4: Yeah, But I mean, I don't know, man, it's just
- 1:08:44Speaker 4: it's it seems seems silly. Yeah, it's just like uh
- 1:08:47Speaker 4: like not urban legend, but like where people put this
- 1:08:50Speaker 4: thing out there, like man, you better.
- 1:08:52Speaker 6: Not say yeah right, yeah.
- 1:08:55Speaker 4: Yeah, boogiey man, boogiey mankind but the fifty set, You're right, that's.
- 1:08:59Speaker 6: The is hilarious, so funny.
- 1:09:02Speaker 8: Definitely in the late nineties early two thousands. That stuff
- 1:09:06Speaker 8: was going on. There was shootings like outside radio stations
- 1:09:10Speaker 8: be dangled off the balcony. Yeah, program director is starting
- 1:09:13Speaker 8: to be killed if they can play their songs.
- 1:09:16Speaker 5: But I can't see Diddy being dumb enough now to
- 1:09:20Speaker 5: send funeral flowers because that when he's got metime probation
- 1:09:25Speaker 5: and other issues.
- 1:09:26Speaker 8: But he's getting blessed drinking already, and.
- 1:09:29Speaker 6: He has a nice lady.
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: I thought he changed. Did you see that phone?
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: Oh?
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: Yeah, is that real? I wanted to be real, so
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: I wanted that's the new Google? So good?
- 1:09:40Speaker 6: Oh it's real good. Yeah, that's jeers jeers to my
- 1:09:46Speaker 6: own ears. I don't know what's going on because every
- 1:09:50Speaker 6: commercial and every TV show is so goddamn loud. I'm
- 1:09:54Speaker 6: constantly telling I can't. I'm constantly telling the kid, my
- 1:09:58Speaker 6: husband turned it down. I can't take it, like, I
- 1:09:59Speaker 6: don't know what's going on. Well, they do on a purpose,
- 1:10:02Speaker 6: but it's not it's not even.
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: No, they do it on purpose?
- 1:10:05Speaker 5: Who doesn't on purpose?
- 1:10:06Speaker 8: Take it?
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: What? Who does it on purpose?
- 1:10:09Speaker 8: The networks, the networks, the commercially, they wake you up.
- 1:10:12Speaker 6: The commercials are crazy to get.
- 1:10:15Speaker 4: Yeah, there there's been numerous articles and.
- 1:10:17Speaker 6: Even newsoms because you know, we work big to small.
- 1:10:19Speaker 6: He says he's gonna start curbing that with the podcast commercials.
- 1:10:22Speaker 4: But yeah, I don't know about podcasts where I was
- 1:10:25Speaker 4: just talking about television.
- 1:10:26Speaker 8: That's been going on for a while, and TV podcast
- 1:10:28Speaker 8: commercials are always messed up.
- 1:10:30Speaker 6: I can't take it. I can't take it. But then
- 1:10:32Speaker 6: the other problem is we apparently have I don't know
- 1:10:35Speaker 6: if you guys have one of these, but we have
- 1:10:36Speaker 6: some like rodent repellent noise thing at our house that
- 1:10:41Speaker 6: I didn't know we have.
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: You can hear it?
- 1:10:43Speaker 13: Right?
- 1:10:43Speaker 6: I can't hear it. That's the thing. My kid. Every
- 1:10:46Speaker 6: time he goes up to he starts like grabbing his head.
- 1:10:48Speaker 6: He's like like, stop messing with me, goes, I'm not
- 1:10:51Speaker 6: messing with you. How do you not hear that? I
- 1:10:53Speaker 6: don't hear anything?
- 1:10:53Speaker 4: Well, there are certain frequencies that kids can hear.
- 1:10:56Speaker 6: It's crazy. We do that all the dogs.
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:10:58Speaker 6: On YouTube, We'll we'll do it and I'll press like
- 1:11:01Speaker 6: on and off so he doesn't know if I if
- 1:11:02Speaker 6: it's on, you know, so he can't see uh visually,
- 1:11:05Speaker 6: and I'll go, do you hear it?
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: No?
- 1:11:07Speaker 6: Oh God, turn it off, like so I'll press it
- 1:11:09Speaker 6: on and it's.
- 1:11:11Speaker 4: Legite because there's I saw the one where it says
- 1:11:14Speaker 4: you could basically tell how old you are, like how
- 1:11:17Speaker 4: the age of your hearing based on it. And it
- 1:11:18Speaker 4: starts with the tone and it keeps either getting higher lower,
- 1:11:21Speaker 4: I can't remember what higher, and then you know, and
- 1:11:25Speaker 4: the age keeps counting up or whatever, and then you
- 1:11:28Speaker 4: can you can see just how good. Yeah, like Greg
- 1:11:30Speaker 4: was tapped out, I'm sure immediately.
- 1:11:33Speaker 6: We should try that.
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: It sucks.
- 1:11:34Speaker 6: Yes, some's going on.
- 1:11:35Speaker 4: I was good, believe it or not. I mean I
- 1:11:37Speaker 4: was surprised, like how good mine was? Yeah, thirty years
- 1:11:42Speaker 4: of wearing headphones and they're.
- 1:11:44Speaker 5: Loud, and yeah, we should try things on this commercial
- 1:11:47Speaker 5: deal that the comm Act you might remember, says that
- 1:11:50Speaker 5: you cannot broadcast commercials at a louder volume, and if
- 1:11:54Speaker 5: indeed you feel that the Act is being violated, you
- 1:11:56Speaker 5: can report it to the there you go.
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: Measure. I follow up day.
- 1:12:02Speaker 8: I actually support this though, because it is like way
- 1:12:06Speaker 8: too loud that they can't take it.
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: It's crazy.
- 1:12:08Speaker 4: Morgan Weekend Cheers and jeers, guys.
- 1:12:11Speaker 12: I am officially the owner of my car. I just
- 1:12:14Speaker 12: made the last payment on my Toyota care.
- 1:12:18Speaker 10: This is a big deal.
- 1:12:19Speaker 5: I mentioned I've never had a car payment in.
- 1:12:20Speaker 8: My life, only four hundred dollars car in a cyber truck.
- 1:12:29Speaker 12: Okay, anyway, engratulations for the title.

- 1:12:42Speaker 4: Everybody, everybody else's room is applauding you.
- 1:12:47Speaker 8: One weirdo, that's true, one weirdo named Dave Ramsey.

- 1:13:17Speaker 12: on someone. It's so cute to listen to.
- 1:13:20Speaker 6: She's very cute.

- 1:13:48Speaker 6: Like this, okay, get out of her head.
- 1:13:51Speaker 10: That's it's my jeers that all her songs are so good.
- 1:13:53Speaker 10: I listened to her full album over the weekend. This no,

- 1:14:57Speaker 5: He just you can tell how happy and how proud

- 1:15:03Speaker 2: It was so pleasurable. Was it a longboard or irregular?
- 1:15:06Speaker 5: Did he have a helmet, No, he has headphones on,
- 1:15:10Speaker 5: but he.
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: Was like thirty. Did he get up and shake it

- 1:15:47Speaker 5: are you doing?
- 1:15:47Speaker 8: But I don't support that statement. But if you if
- 1:15:49Speaker 8: you're on a longboard in your old man, you look.
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: Like a door. Okay, well fair enough.
- 1:15:53Speaker 8: It was very satisfying to watch him just absolutely face plant.
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: Uh jears to myself.
- 1:15:57Speaker 5: Quite frankly, I have I don't make a lot of
- 1:16:00Speaker 5: impulse buys online, but somehow I got stuck in a
- 1:16:03Speaker 5: t MoU loop and I spent twenty two dollars on
- 1:16:10Speaker 5: a gauntlet like Batman style.
- 1:16:15Speaker 6: It's like an arm shield.
- 1:16:17Speaker 4: So next next time, Yeah, I forget what it was
- 1:16:20Speaker 4: we were talking about recently. He's at such an incredible
- 1:16:22Speaker 4: waste Stanley cuffs fla boo boos. Just just just remember this.
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: Now, hold on. This looks like something you made. I
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: bought it.
- 1:16:30Speaker 8: I bought this because I thought it'd be functional.
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: Uh huh.
- 1:16:33Speaker 8: It's it's maybe eighteen inches by six inches.
- 1:16:36Speaker 5: It's got a sweet spike at the tip for like
- 1:16:38Speaker 5: taking out people's throats.
- 1:16:40Speaker 8: It's like a like a gym equipment or something.
- 1:16:43Speaker 4: You know.
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: Again, it doesn't look like that. It's like right here
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: and you saw it and you thought I need this? Why?
- 1:16:48Speaker 5: Well, because I thought, oh, maybe because I didn't see
- 1:16:50Speaker 5: how big it was. You know, team you never get
- 1:16:52Speaker 5: like a good size of things. Sure, I thought, well,
- 1:16:54Speaker 5: maybe this would be like a fun like it'd be
- 1:16:55Speaker 5: like a discrete thing I could keep when I was
- 1:16:57Speaker 5: out on the streets, so like if somebody came at
- 1:16:59Speaker 5: me with a bat or which has happened before, you know,
- 1:17:02Speaker 5: people throw stuff at me or whatever.
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: The screet.
- 1:17:05Speaker 5: That's the point is when it came I was like, oh,
- 1:17:06Speaker 5: this thing is huge, not the screet, but yeah, you
- 1:17:09Speaker 5: couldn't walk around with this because.
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: People be like, what are you doing, psycho?
- 1:17:11Speaker 8: All right, I'm posting on Instagram story at the show.
- 1:17:15Speaker 5: That's why it's a jeers because this is I mean, yeah,
- 1:17:17Speaker 5: it's like it's again like like like a Batman's style,
- 1:17:19Speaker 5: lide guard style.
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: I think it's kind of cool, That's what I said.
- 1:17:23Speaker 5: I think it's cool, but you can't walk around with it.
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: If I was eight years just get a really big.
- 1:17:28Speaker 6: Coat and put it under your sleeve.
- 1:17:29Speaker 5: Yeah, exactly like I was if I was in the subways.
- 1:17:33Speaker 4: Cool Dude, I keep seeing stuff. You're making fun of
- 1:17:35Speaker 4: h Morgan for this, this car. I think this, I
- 1:17:39Speaker 4: think this, This cyber truck was a terrible burchase.
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: I keep seeing. Did you see like all these things.
- 1:17:43Speaker 4: About like the the the resale market for the cyber
- 1:17:48Speaker 4: truck in particular. Dude, you're gonna have to keep that
- 1:17:51Speaker 4: until it no longer drives.
- 1:17:53Speaker 5: Well, I'm fine with that because it's a pleasure and
- 1:17:55Speaker 5: a delight to drive.
- 1:17:56Speaker 4: I'm just thinking, it's like, man, the people are losing
- 1:17:58Speaker 4: their ass if a year later, No, I'm saying, but
- 1:18:01Speaker 4: just in general, like because like nobody wants them. I mean,
- 1:18:05Speaker 4: there's there's such a stigma on them, and.
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: You see more and more of them out there. I'm
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: just I'm look, I'm I don't. I don't make the news.
- 1:18:14Speaker 6: They've dropped according to chat GPT thirty percent.
- 1:18:18Speaker 8: But that's every new car does that though, that's not
- 1:18:20Speaker 8: thirty percent.
- 1:18:21Speaker 4: Yes, they plummet, Yeah, that that's a new Yeah. But
- 1:18:26Speaker 4: what I'm saying that this cyber truck compared to because
- 1:18:28Speaker 4: it has a whole thing on top of just a
- 1:18:31Speaker 4: said like a Toyota Corolla or you used Corolla. People
- 1:18:35Speaker 4: go like cyber truck. No thanks, thank yeah.
- 1:18:37Speaker 5: Because of all the what's been a year long smear
- 1:18:40Speaker 5: campaign against it.
- 1:18:41Speaker 4: But you think you hate it, now, wait till you
- 1:18:45Speaker 4: see it.
- 1:18:47Speaker 2: The more I drive it, the more it is.
- 1:18:49Speaker 8: It is the future of technology, self driving, bulletproof, faster dumpsters,
- 1:18:53Speaker 8: faster than any of your drops.
- 1:18:55Speaker 2: Around, wearing that new arm shield you bought. Yeah cool, wow,
- 1:19:01Speaker 2: look truck, come at me, Bro.
- 1:19:03Speaker 4: The cyber truck is a true douche. Canoe says the
- 1:19:05Speaker 4: six to six one.
- 1:19:06Speaker 5: I mean, that's really hilarious and a bad insight and
- 1:19:08Speaker 5: an original insult as well.
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: Is what's up with what's going in SoCal sports? Were
- 1:19:18Speaker 2: Jeff G Jeff Goose, Hey, good morning, Jeff G. What's
- 1:19:22Speaker 2: up what he showed? Good morning? And happy Monday.
- 1:19:24Speaker 14: We'll get to the NFL in about thirty seconds, but first,
- 1:19:27Speaker 14: Lebron James put the haters on shut up yesterday in Philadelphia.
- 1:19:31Speaker 2: Jarones, we're two with what we talk.
- 1:19:36Speaker 14: Lakers got to win, and yes, Lebron is old by
- 1:19:38Speaker 14: NBA standards, and you may not like him as a person,
- 1:19:41Speaker 14: but he is still the king man. He had twenty
- 1:19:43Speaker 14: nine points in thirty four minutes.
- 1:19:46Speaker 2: He shot the Rock very well.
- 1:19:47Speaker 14: Luca added thirty one points, fresh off a plane from Slovenia.
- 1:19:51Speaker 14: Up next for the Lakers NBA Cup game Wednesday versus
- 1:19:54Speaker 14: the Spurs. Moving on to the NFL, Rams destroyed the
- 1:19:57Speaker 14: Cardinals forty five seventeen.
- 1:19:59Speaker 8: Play co I'm shaw the thirty and who's going protect
- 1:20:03Speaker 8: this all the way?
- 1:20:04Speaker 2: Forty eight yards? Quote other Ram I'm just touched down.
- 1:20:08Speaker 14: Krum At two tds, Matt Stafford three tds in the win.
- 1:20:11Speaker 14: If the Rams take over the number one seed in
- 1:20:13Speaker 14: the NFC. Tonight, my Chargers were taking on the champion
- 1:20:16Speaker 14: Eagles at SOFI Stadium. Good news running back o' mario
- 1:20:19Speaker 14: on Hampton is expected back tonight for the Chargers. Listen, guys,
- 1:20:23Speaker 14: I'm I'm a realistic sports fan. I'm praying for a
- 1:20:25Speaker 14: miracle tonight. Who knows anything could happen On to hockey.
- 1:20:28Speaker 14: Kings beat up on the black Hawks Saturday, and then
- 1:20:30Speaker 14: the Ducks beat the Blackhawks last night.
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: Whoa gotta slow down?
- 1:20:33Speaker 14: When I say Blackhawks too fast, it sounds like something else.
- 1:20:36Speaker 14: Moving out of college football, the playoff bracket is set.
- 1:20:38Speaker 14: Notre Dame got snubbed and promptly told the NCAA to
- 1:20:42Speaker 14: pound sand they won't be participating in both season. And
- 1:20:45Speaker 14: speaking of the college football playoffs, Indiana Hoosiers quarterback for
- 1:20:48Speaker 14: Nanda Mendoza was so excited after beating Ohio State over
- 1:20:51Speaker 14: the weekend that he was crying and excited.
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: At the same time, which is just weird. Here he
- 1:20:56Speaker 2: is that crime.
- 1:20:57Speaker 5: We're never supposed to be the decision, but the great coaches,
- 1:21:01Speaker 5: great David whoever thought would for now the hold.
- 1:21:04Speaker 2: There's poklep jams. Let go, it's got a big one. Dude,
- 1:21:07Speaker 2: either be excited or cried. You sound like a thweeve
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: when you do both. I'm JEG and that's the so.
- 1:21:12Speaker 4: Cal Sport Jefgy show.
- 1:21:19Speaker 2: Greg. These are the guys that that we laugh about.
- 1:21:23Speaker 4: A Baltimore County fire employee is being investigated for masturbating
- 1:21:29Speaker 4: in public spaces at multiple firehouses. Can't wait, and he
- 1:21:34Speaker 4: made videos of him doing it.
- 1:21:36Speaker 2: He loves those firehouses. Oh yeah.
- 1:21:38Speaker 4: So, the county's health officer says that even though the
- 1:21:41Speaker 4: risk to others is minimal to none, they are sending
- 1:21:45Speaker 4: the other fire department employees to get tested at the
- 1:21:48Speaker 4: Employee Health Center, tested for what you know what? I
- 1:21:52Speaker 4: think it's just a liability thing, just to say that.
- 1:21:55Speaker 4: You know, like if somebody turns up with something, you know,
- 1:21:58Speaker 4: months from now, they're going to say, oh, Scott, but
- 1:22:00Speaker 4: if we sent you to get tested.
- 1:22:02Speaker 6: Right now, yeah, right, you got somewhere else.
- 1:22:05Speaker 4: It's just a it's just a lie. I'm sure it's
- 1:22:07Speaker 4: just a liability anyway. So they've also been directed to
- 1:22:11Speaker 4: deep clean and sanitize the following areas using germicidal products
- 1:22:15Speaker 4: all high touch services, door handles, push plates, light switches,
- 1:22:18Speaker 4: et cetera.
- 1:22:19Speaker 2: This is where a guy jerking it.
- 1:22:20Speaker 4: Away, water fountains, bunk room, so the beds, the furniture
- 1:22:24Speaker 4: lockers inside, it out And thanks to what they saw
- 1:22:26Speaker 4: on those videos, they are and already in the process
- 1:22:30Speaker 4: of replacing all the ice stations.
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: The ice machines.
- 1:22:34Speaker 4: That's the only one that gives the ice machines at
- 1:22:37Speaker 4: the firehouses.
- 1:22:38Speaker 2: This guy's getting penalty. He's running around joeing on all
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: these things.
- 1:22:42Speaker 4: Well, no, the the ice machines were very specific and
- 1:22:46Speaker 4: those have already been replaced, and most of the firehouses
- 1:22:49Speaker 4: that this guy's worked in, I think the other ones
- 1:22:51Speaker 4: are just like, hey, just measure just fresh, but like
- 1:22:55Speaker 4: it was kind of weird that the ice machines, they
- 1:22:57Speaker 4: would they say they'd be cleaning, sanitized.
- 1:22:59Speaker 2: They told them the replaced.
- 1:23:01Speaker 8: It's that bad.
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: Huh yeah, so yeah, I guess they're pregnant.
- 1:23:05Speaker 5: Oh man, how do you explain that when you get
- 1:23:07Speaker 5: to jail, Like, hey, I was robbing houses and cars.
- 1:23:10Speaker 8: Yeah, I was going with.
- 1:23:14Speaker 4: Here are a couple of the officials, the local officials,
- 1:23:16Speaker 4: speaking to the media about the situation.
- 1:23:18Speaker 2: I've been on the council for fifteen years.
- 1:23:20Speaker 4: This is probably the most disturbing series of allegations I've
- 1:23:22Speaker 4: ever heard.
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: I've never heard of anything like this. And I've dealt.
- 1:23:26Speaker 11: With more personnel issues, more problems than in the back,
- 1:23:31Speaker 11: and nothing bizarre and as grotesque as this.
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: Yeah, they have dealt with war, Yeah maybe I think more.
- 1:23:39Speaker 4: Yeah, just being said, yeah, worse than By the way,
- 1:23:43Speaker 4: the horny firefighter has not been publicly named, but the
- 1:23:46Speaker 4: investigation is ongoing.
- 1:23:48Speaker 8: If you could Joe somewhere in the office, where would
- 1:23:49Speaker 8: you greg here? You had to if you were forced.
- 1:23:52Speaker 2: I mean, the most exciting obviously would be right here
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: where I said yeah, yeah, yeah, But if you had to,
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: I could wait until I got home I've never understood
- 1:24:01Speaker 2: that's not the question. But I'm saying the most exciting
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: would be right here, but in the office spot.
- 1:24:06Speaker 6: But in the office, Bess has that reclining chair.
- 1:24:09Speaker 2: That would be pretty company.
- 1:24:11Speaker 4: You know, the the uh there's a there's a room
- 1:24:14Speaker 4: around the corner that they use for Like these obnoxious
- 1:24:16Speaker 4: podcasters come in the way they walk around here, they
- 1:24:20Speaker 4: feel like they're so much better than everybody else who
- 1:24:22Speaker 4: works here. Yeah, I was like, am I the only
- 1:24:26Speaker 4: one picking up on this? Or did they walk around
- 1:24:28Speaker 4: like they think they're awesome.
- 1:24:30Speaker 7: Because they come in all dressed up and hair and
- 1:24:32Speaker 7: makeup are like clothes.
- 1:24:33Speaker 4: To change they have and they're snobby to people. It's like, bitch,
- 1:24:36Speaker 4: you are a podcast.
- 1:24:37Speaker 8: Have people around the pretending that they're a big deal.
- 1:24:40Speaker 8: Everybody has a podcast. Everybody My mom can have a
- 1:24:43Speaker 8: podcast today.
- 1:24:44Speaker 2: See everybody walking around here, and she's never done anything
- 1:24:47Speaker 2: like this ever.
- 1:24:47Speaker 8: We're all doing the same thing, but more people are
- 1:24:49Speaker 8: actually listening to us.
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: It's well, i'm the numbers. It's public.
- 1:24:55Speaker 4: But even like other people in the building who do
- 1:24:57Speaker 4: the exact same thing. It's like like we're all here,
- 1:24:59Speaker 4: we're all doing the same.
- 1:25:01Speaker 5: But that room has a very comfy couch.
- 1:25:03Speaker 2: Yes it has candles.
- 1:25:05Speaker 4: Anyway, we can't get this room dusted or vacuumed or
- 1:25:08Speaker 4: anything else. Meanwhile, they built this like super sweet looking,
- 1:25:12Speaker 4: you know, plush little podcast studio set thing. I would
- 1:25:17Speaker 4: totally tug it in there, did you know? And I'd
- 1:25:20Speaker 4: leave it right on their throat.
- 1:25:21Speaker 8: Pillow, you know what I would do, though, But their
- 1:25:24Speaker 8: secret rooms in this building, on this floor, there's a
- 1:25:27Speaker 8: couple of them. What do you mean, Uh, there's one
- 1:25:29Speaker 8: all the way up the end in the hall by
- 1:25:31Speaker 8: the kitchen.
- 1:25:31Speaker 5: It's mass but there's fun things in there.
- 1:25:35Speaker 2: But yeah, well there's a ton of fun.
- 1:25:36Speaker 8: That's where I keep the vacuum.
- 1:25:40Speaker 2: I know where.
- 1:25:41Speaker 4: I know where they hide, like one of those like
- 1:25:42Speaker 4: skeleton keys like the master keyn't get it anything.
- 1:25:47Speaker 5: I have ordered a lock pick kick because they've they've
- 1:25:50Speaker 5: locked up certain rooms mysteriously, including the single stall bathroom,
- 1:25:53Speaker 5: the Ryan Seacrest bathrooms because it keeps flooding. Yeah yeah,
- 1:25:56Speaker 5: and by the way, Greg, if something gets broken and
- 1:25:59Speaker 5: keeps flooding, we could either fix it or just close it.
- 1:26:03Speaker 4: I guess I guess we installed the bathroom there when
- 1:26:05Speaker 4: they weren't. They weren't really all that because the building
- 1:26:08Speaker 4: wasn't really necessarily designed for water. No, no, no, for
- 1:26:11Speaker 4: something to be in that particular spot. It was like
- 1:26:13Speaker 4: a whole thing they had to do to try to like,
- 1:26:15Speaker 4: you know, get around whatever they could take. So it's
- 1:26:18Speaker 4: flooded so many times now they're like, you know what,
- 1:26:20Speaker 4: we're closing it off, and I guess it's eventually not
- 1:26:23Speaker 4: going to be a bathroom at all anymore. Yeah, because
- 1:26:25Speaker 4: it keeps flooding the building, people have ruined it. Yeah,
- 1:26:29Speaker 4: Seacrest takes like mad huge jumps.
- 1:26:31Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, no Woody Show text in seven.
- 1:26:42Speaker 4: Well you got your chance to win your rent or
- 1:26:45Speaker 4: mortgage for the month of January paid. Hell yeah, well
- 1:26:47Speaker 4: you show rent relief that's coming up here this hour
- 1:26:51Speaker 4: on the Woody Show.
- 1:26:54Speaker 2: That is great.
- 1:26:54Speaker 4: Gordy, we got menace is here, Sea Bag Sammy Morgan's here.
- 1:27:02Speaker 4: Phones can call in text send your text talking to
- 1:27:06Speaker 4: two two nine eight seven. Let's talk about self checkout
- 1:27:09Speaker 4: here for a second. So talking to people who go
- 1:27:12Speaker 4: through the self checkout counter when they talk to two
- 1:27:16Speaker 4: thousand people, have you ever stolen anything from self checkout?
- 1:27:20Speaker 2: Well, when it.
- 1:27:21Speaker 5: First started not I, but a bunch of my fraternity
- 1:27:24Speaker 5: brothers had all kinds of schemes.
- 1:27:26Speaker 10: Oh yeah, when I was younger, I had schemes for sure.
- 1:27:29Speaker 4: Twenty seven percent admit that they have they have done it,
- 1:27:32Speaker 4: and it's more men than women. But forty six percent
- 1:27:36Speaker 4: of people who stole stole on purpose and and they
- 1:27:41Speaker 4: got caught, so they're like they went in there intending
- 1:27:43Speaker 4: to do it right, and then they ended up getting busted.
- 1:27:46Speaker 4: Now this is interesting. Rich people more likely to steal.
- 1:27:49Speaker 8: Huh.
- 1:27:50Speaker 4: Forty percent of people who make over one hundred thousand
- 1:27:53Speaker 4: dollars a year admit to going through self checkout without paying.
- 1:27:56Speaker 8: Oh stay rich admit to stealing O words.
- 1:27:59Speaker 4: Seventeen percent of people making less than fifty thousand said
- 1:28:03Speaker 4: that they steal.
- 1:28:05Speaker 2: Yeah, you're on camera, I mean it's gonna.
- 1:28:07Speaker 5: Well, yeah, they don't think those cameras are well, that's
- 1:28:09Speaker 5: that's how most people getting caught. These y yeah exactly
- 1:28:11Speaker 5: say in the news all the time. So and so,
- 1:28:13Speaker 5: like they know it's a a vulnerability for them, so
- 1:28:16Speaker 5: they're all over it.
- 1:28:17Speaker 4: As for why people are stealing, forty seven percent said
- 1:28:20Speaker 4: they did it because the essentials they needed were unaffordable, Well.
- 1:28:24Speaker 2: Take them, you know.
- 1:28:26Speaker 4: Thirty nine percent said they did it because the price
- 1:28:28Speaker 4: was just too high.
- 1:28:29Speaker 6: Well that's how.
- 1:28:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't agree with the price, so I say, yeah,
- 1:28:32Speaker 2: so I just took it.
- 1:28:34Speaker 4: Fourteen percent said they do it or have done it
- 1:28:37Speaker 4: in the past because of past bad experiences like being
- 1:28:40Speaker 4: accused of incorrectly, you know, stealing or being overcharged for somebody.
- 1:28:45Speaker 2: I understand that very well.
- 1:28:48Speaker 8: That happened with you with the avocados or with the limes.
- 1:28:50Speaker 2: Right, you stole on line. I did not steal. Yeah,
- 1:28:52Speaker 2: you stole.
- 1:28:53Speaker 8: Something, remember because you overpaid before? Oh oh that's right,
- 1:28:56Speaker 8: I did.
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: Yeah. One time I had two avocados and I put
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: that I had one because the previous day they had
- 1:29:02Speaker 2: double charged. So there you got. That's so that's correcting
- 1:29:05Speaker 2: the wrong. And then I think when it comes to produce,
- 1:29:09Speaker 2: if you don't know, like you have to type in
- 1:29:11Speaker 2: what you're looking for because it doesn't have a barcode,
- 1:29:13Speaker 2: and you put like a yam instead of a sweet potato.
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: I don't know what this thing's called. Let's just call it.
- 1:29:18Speaker 2: What's the difference. I don't know price.
- 1:29:21Speaker 4: I'll be like, honestly, what was it between a yam
- 1:29:22Speaker 4: I sweep potato.
- 1:29:23Speaker 6: Absolutely no, Well aren't the yams the ones that kind
- 1:29:26Speaker 6: of like taper off on the sides.
- 1:29:28Speaker 7: Yeah, the shape is different, but I don't know the
- 1:29:30Speaker 7: actual difference.
- 1:29:31Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:29:32Speaker 4: Put a bunch of thieves. Thirteen percent said they steal
- 1:29:35Speaker 4: because friends and family do it.
- 1:29:36Speaker 10: Oh, everyone else is doing it.
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: Yeah, Jina does it.
- 1:29:39Speaker 4: I don't know, let's a twenty nine percent said they
- 1:29:42Speaker 4: did it because stores are already large and profitable, so
- 1:29:45Speaker 4: the harm just feels minimal.
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: That's it.
- 1:29:47Speaker 6: They have a chance for the story.
- 1:29:49Speaker 2: It doesn't cost me.
- 1:29:50Speaker 4: They want you to steal money, and then this is uh,
- 1:29:53Speaker 4: this is a good one too. Thirty five percent said
- 1:29:55Speaker 4: they see self checkout as unpaid work.
- 1:29:59Speaker 2: I know, I kind of agree.
- 1:30:00Speaker 4: So taking small things feels like compensation for them, scanning
- 1:30:04Speaker 4: their own gross.
- 1:30:06Speaker 6: Like that one.
- 1:30:07Speaker 5: Then feel free not to.
- 1:30:08Speaker 2: Go there right getting the one line that's open instead.
- 1:30:13Speaker 8: You know what they didn't do. They also didn't drive
- 1:30:15Speaker 8: you to the store.
- 1:30:15Speaker 5: They didn't.
- 1:30:16Speaker 8: You know, they didn't. They didn't whole thing off the
- 1:30:18Speaker 8: shelf and put it in your basket.
- 1:30:19Speaker 2: You deserve compensation. I deserve compensation.
- 1:30:22Speaker 8: I didn't I did walk back to my own cary.
- 1:30:24Speaker 4: I told uh, I told dumbas Tyler to come in.
- 1:30:26Speaker 4: He was because we were we were discussing this story
- 1:30:28Speaker 4: in the office these numbers, and he said, oh, yeah, dude,
- 1:30:31Speaker 4: not your proudest moment.
- 1:30:33Speaker 3: Yeah, not my proudest moment. I had just moved back home.
- 1:30:37Speaker 3: I was broke as hell. I needed two bookshelves because
- 1:30:40Speaker 3: I had all this stuff that I had to put
- 1:30:42Speaker 3: out and everything.
- 1:30:43Speaker 2: So I got, yeah, I needed needed book needed because
- 1:30:48Speaker 2: all that reading. He does exactly that I have books,
- 1:30:50Speaker 2: and I do, thank you, miss.
- 1:30:53Speaker 3: So I go to the store and I put one
- 1:30:56Speaker 3: of the bookshelves in the top of the basket so
- 1:30:58Speaker 3: it's clear as day, like, hey, I'm playing one. The
- 1:31:00Speaker 3: second one it's not gonna fit on the top, so
- 1:31:02Speaker 3: I put it on the bottom. Yeah, and I'm thinking,
- 1:31:04Speaker 3: I need two of these. I can only afford one.
- 1:31:06Speaker 3: Need how do I do this? I grabbed the cheapest
- 1:31:10Speaker 3: DVD Blu Ray I could find, put it on the
- 1:31:12Speaker 3: bottom of the basket, next to the barcode by the bookshelf,
- 1:31:16Speaker 3: scanned the uh DVD barcode because the employee can't see it,
- 1:31:20Speaker 3: scan the DVD bar code but it looks like you're scanning. Yeah,
- 1:31:23Speaker 3: it looks like the bookshelf. And I just walked out
- 1:31:25Speaker 3: and you.
- 1:31:27Speaker 5: Said, like your fraternity brothers, Like, was that one of
- 1:31:29Speaker 5: those scams they found. Yeah, essentially they found one point
- 1:31:32Speaker 5: like a dollar off coupon for on like you know,
- 1:31:35Speaker 5: old meat or something, and they just use that for everything. Yeah,
- 1:31:39Speaker 5: would put it on the bottom of every single item,
- 1:31:41Speaker 5: so everything was a dollar off because yeah, you didn't
- 1:31:43Speaker 5: want to. You don't want to and I never would,
- 1:31:44Speaker 5: but you don't want to explicitly steal because then then
- 1:31:47Speaker 5: you're caught in the act. But if you want to, Oh,
- 1:31:49Speaker 5: it was just a misunderstanding. Oh, I didn't see. I
- 1:31:52Speaker 5: didn't know this barcode was there, right?
- 1:31:54Speaker 6: What do you remember the movie in My Blue Heaven
- 1:31:56Speaker 6: where it gets all of the sticker things, It just
- 1:31:58Speaker 6: starts putting it on all the filets. That's what a
- 1:32:01Speaker 6: sea bas my friends.
- 1:32:03Speaker 4: I like, do you have anything sea bass word? Wasn't
- 1:32:06Speaker 4: your proudest moment?
- 1:32:07Speaker 8: Oh?
- 1:32:09Speaker 4: I mean, I know you speaking of something that is
- 1:32:13Speaker 4: just malicious and awful.
- 1:32:16Speaker 5: We do in high school, we did a lot of pranks.
- 1:32:19Speaker 5: This is before ring cameras were a big deal. Or
- 1:32:22Speaker 5: it existed at all in fact, and we would, you know,
- 1:32:24Speaker 5: we'd take people's Christmas decorations and put in other people's
- 1:32:28Speaker 5: yards and that's just fun. But we would also we
- 1:32:30Speaker 5: were like, hey, you know what is real fun?
- 1:32:32Speaker 2: Uh?
- 1:32:34Speaker 8: Cracking mailboxes with a baseball bat?
- 1:32:36Speaker 6: Is this the fifties?
- 1:32:38Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, exactly. We did.
- 1:32:42Speaker 8: At one point we made a count one and one night.
- 1:32:45Speaker 8: That was certainly not a nice thing to do.
- 1:32:48Speaker 4: Yeah, not your proudest moment. We all we all have those.
- 1:32:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:32:51Speaker 4: Someone says, I make one hundred thousand dollars a year,
- 1:32:53Speaker 4: and I undercount stuff at self checkout because if I'm
- 1:32:57Speaker 4: charging myself as an employee of the store, which means
- 1:32:59Speaker 4: I get the employee discounts.
- 1:33:00Speaker 2: Okay, I accidentally stole.
- 1:33:03Speaker 4: Another one says, I accidentally stole a bag of dog
- 1:33:05Speaker 4: food that was at the bottom of the cart. But
- 1:33:08Speaker 4: I went back in because of how embarrassing it would
- 1:33:10Speaker 4: be to get kicked out of your neighborhood grocery store.
- 1:33:12Speaker 8: In the grocery business, they call it bob bottom of basket. Yeah,
- 1:33:17Speaker 8: so if you hear somebody say that, they they mean
- 1:33:19Speaker 8: did you come.
- 1:33:20Speaker 4: I never noticed it until somewhat recently. But in the
- 1:33:23Speaker 4: checkout aisles at the grocery store where I go, they
- 1:33:26Speaker 4: have like a thing that kind of looks under Yeah,
- 1:33:29Speaker 4: it does like a I don't know if it scans
- 1:33:31Speaker 4: it or if it's a laser shows like.
- 1:33:34Speaker 3: A picture on their screen.
- 1:33:37Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, I never I never noticed that.
- 1:33:40Speaker 6: That's where your hundred bottles of water go.
- 1:33:42Speaker 4: Yeah, I think I think we've all had that experience.
- 1:33:46Speaker 2: Excuse it happened, put a huge thing of water under
- 1:33:49Speaker 2: my under the basket and I forgot it. I don't no,
- 1:33:54Speaker 2: you know what I did, don't. I think I told
- 1:33:56Speaker 2: the story before. I was at a best Buy. I
- 1:33:58Speaker 2: had a bunch of stuff in my hands. I bought
- 1:34:00Speaker 2: a laptop bag, like a backpack laptop bag, and I
- 1:34:03Speaker 2: had it over my shoulder and I was carrying all
- 1:34:05Speaker 2: this stuff. I checked out and then walked out. I
- 1:34:08Speaker 2: still had the backpack on. I wasn't even thinking about it.
- 1:34:10Speaker 2: And I got out to the party and I went
- 1:34:13Speaker 2: back in and I did tell them. Nobody said anything
- 1:34:16Speaker 2: walking out, but because I the guilty conscious thing, yeah,
- 1:34:21Speaker 2: that would get me.
- 1:34:22Speaker 8: I know we're talking about groceries right now, but I
- 1:34:24Speaker 8: heard I saw something on social media last night that
- 1:34:26Speaker 8: it was pretty funny. They call it the Armenian tire change.
- 1:34:31Speaker 8: So basically you like, if you have a really nice car,
- 1:34:35Speaker 8: you just go rent the same car and then you
- 1:34:37Speaker 8: change the person. I was like, what that's over.
- 1:34:43Speaker 2: No, no, I mean that's what they said they called it.
- 1:34:46Speaker 8: But it was like, yeah, it's like, oh, you have
- 1:34:48Speaker 8: a really nice Mercedes, it's going to cost you a
- 1:34:50Speaker 8: thousand dollars for new tires.
- 1:34:52Speaker 5: Just go rent the car for that was my friend,
- 1:34:55Speaker 5: who again was fully Jewish. He put that tip twenty
- 1:34:59Speaker 5: years ago in his Jue Corner newsletter a couple of
- 1:35:03Speaker 5: weeks ago that my friend who yeah, he started to
- 1:35:06Speaker 5: like it was his. He was embracing his heritage, he said,
- 1:35:08Speaker 5: and so he'd be like he'd be like that, or
- 1:35:10Speaker 5: like at the at the gas pup, make sure you
- 1:35:12Speaker 5: take the hose and like turn it upside down so
- 1:35:14Speaker 5: you get every.
- 1:35:15Speaker 6: Last claim him he's not one of ours.
- 1:35:19Speaker 2: I do that.
- 1:35:19Speaker 4: I'll tilt the nozzle because sometimes you take the nozzle
- 1:35:21Speaker 4: out and it's still like yeah, it's like you have
- 1:35:25Speaker 4: to shake it a couple of times before you put
- 1:35:26Speaker 4: it back in your pants. Same same idea, Hey, you
- 1:35:29Speaker 4: paid for it, so he said, definitely not me. You
- 1:35:32Speaker 4: know the sea bass here, but I had a friend
- 1:35:35Speaker 4: who buys an organic produce and wrings it up as
- 1:35:37Speaker 4: regular appro I've done that.
- 1:35:38Speaker 19: Well, that's just I've definitely done that. Ye're looking at
- 1:35:42Speaker 19: a picture eight seven seven forty four or a text over, uh,
- 1:35:48Speaker 19: not your proudest moment?
- 1:35:50Speaker 4: Do you have something you want to share? I mean
- 1:35:52Speaker 4: it could be anonymous. You don't have to give us
- 1:35:53Speaker 4: your name or anything, but we don't know, even like
- 1:35:56Speaker 4: looking back, maybe at the time he thought it was
- 1:35:58Speaker 4: an okay idea, but now looking back and you're like,
- 1:36:00Speaker 4: ah my god, not my not my proudest moment eight seven,
- 1:36:03Speaker 4: seven forty four. Woodie, send us a text over to
- 1:36:06Speaker 4: two two nine eighty seven.
- 1:36:08Speaker 2: The Woodie Show will be right back.
- 1:36:11Speaker 15: Morgan on scaled one to ten.
- 1:36:12Speaker 2: What would you give the Woodie Show?
- 1:36:15Speaker 12: I want to say six to seven, but I'm sticking
- 1:36:17Speaker 12: with six.
- 1:36:18Speaker 2: No, but to show Gina not your proudest moment?
- 1:36:23Speaker 6: Okay, I admit I have done the old produce swap
- 1:36:27Speaker 6: when I'm ringing it up with the organic and like
- 1:36:30Speaker 6: cares just bring it up as an orange. Nobody cares?
- 1:36:32Speaker 2: Why just get the regular orange.
- 1:36:33Speaker 6: Yeah, I didn't want the regular orange.
- 1:36:35Speaker 5: Because there's a difference getting Yeah, but that's what steps
- 1:36:38Speaker 5: I'm saying, Like, who cares?
- 1:36:40Speaker 4: If you want to pay the regular orange price, why
- 1:36:41Speaker 4: not just get the regular orange because that's the same orange.
- 1:36:43Speaker 6: That's what I'm I didn't say it was the same orange.
- 1:36:45Speaker 6: I'm saying, who cares? Thirty five per cents? So they're
- 1:36:48Speaker 6: going to miss it. For me, it's the you know,
- 1:36:49Speaker 6: it's just fun to get away with something every once
- 1:36:51Speaker 6: in a while. When I was a kid, and I
- 1:36:53Speaker 6: think this is just more being meeting a jackass. I
- 1:36:56Speaker 6: used to love calling telethons and pranking them and like
- 1:37:01Speaker 6: doing like a different voice, and like just pledging obscene
- 1:37:03Speaker 6: amounts of money to see if I could get on
- 1:37:06Speaker 6: the TV that they like. But of course they never
- 1:37:08Speaker 6: saw that because I was like eleven, not proud. But
- 1:37:11Speaker 6: at the time, I really, I really loved doing that.
- 1:37:14Speaker 4: You do a lot of dumb stuff when you're a kid,
- 1:37:16Speaker 4: and you look back and you're like, I can't believe
- 1:37:18Speaker 4: we did that.
- 1:37:18Speaker 6: And how did they ever believe it? It's like I
- 1:37:22Speaker 6: would like to give you a million dollars, Well, please
- 1:37:26Speaker 6: the air.
- 1:37:28Speaker 10: Exactly.
- 1:37:31Speaker 2: I thought that I was the only kid who did that.
- 1:37:35Speaker 2: I would call these televangelist people because they were asking
- 1:37:39Speaker 2: for money. Oh goodist, And I said, so, you know you,
- 1:37:44Speaker 2: I see that you want us to believe in Jesus,
- 1:37:46Speaker 2: and I do. I believe so hard. And then I
- 1:37:49Speaker 2: turned into an old man at eleven, I'm like, and
- 1:37:52Speaker 2: what well my money do for that? Like, how does
- 1:37:55Speaker 2: my money change any of it?
- 1:37:59Speaker 4: I got the good she's calling Jerry Lewis kids in wheelchairs.
- 1:38:06Speaker 4: I was calling the stupid guys in the revival.
- 1:38:08Speaker 6: You are doing the Lord's work ironically, Greg.
- 1:38:13Speaker 4: Well, Greg, what what is uh? You know a moment
- 1:38:16Speaker 4: you're not so proud of. I'm proud of his moment.
- 1:38:19Speaker 4: The list goes on on. Yeah, you got a lot
- 1:38:20Speaker 4: of good stories.
- 1:38:21Speaker 2: But when it comes to money type stuff. When I
- 1:38:24Speaker 2: was a kid, I think, like every other kid in
- 1:38:26Speaker 2: the world, My first job was a paper route, and
- 1:38:29Speaker 2: when you had to go collect for the paper is
- 1:38:33Speaker 2: when you get people to pay for their papers. And
- 1:38:35Speaker 2: this stupid local paper I worked for, paying for it
- 1:38:39Speaker 2: was optional, So when I had to go collect for
- 1:38:43Speaker 2: the paper route, I would just say, yeah, they didn't
- 1:38:45Speaker 2: want to pay. They didn't want to pay, but you
- 1:38:47Speaker 2: still had to write their name down. And I didn't
- 1:38:49Speaker 2: even even bother to knock on the doors. So I
- 1:38:51Speaker 2: would write down like John ultra Bright, and I was
- 1:38:55Speaker 2: making up toothpaste names like Bill Press and Nancy Colate Colgate.
- 1:39:01Speaker 2: They just didn't want to pay because I didn't want
- 1:39:04Speaker 2: to go collect for the news.
- 1:39:05Speaker 6: I get that, but I thought you'd collect the money
- 1:39:07Speaker 6: and then tell the paper they didn't want to pay.
- 1:39:08Speaker 2: I didn't even want to knock on the doors. Criminally,
- 1:39:12Speaker 2: I didn't want to knock on doors talk to people.
- 1:39:15Speaker 2: I just hide out. That coupled with the job that
- 1:39:17Speaker 2: I had distributing flyers, which I told you, I set
- 1:39:21Speaker 2: them on fire. I threw them in a dumpster, I
- 1:39:24Speaker 2: threw them down a sewer.
- 1:39:25Speaker 6: Greg in college, we were supposed to send to give
- 1:39:28Speaker 6: out flyers on campus, and we ripped them all up
- 1:39:30Speaker 6: and put them in a trash can behind the cafeteria.
- 1:39:32Speaker 2: Yeah, all distributed all two thousand of them. All right, men,
- 1:39:37Speaker 2: it's not your proudest moment.
- 1:39:38Speaker 8: Well, I don't really have a lot of stories of
- 1:39:40Speaker 8: stealing when I was like a teenager, or even just
- 1:39:44Speaker 8: as an adult. As an adult, no, because when I
- 1:39:47Speaker 8: was a kid, I must have been like five years old,
- 1:39:51Speaker 8: and I was with a neighbor kid and we were
- 1:39:53Speaker 8: wearing like our pajamas. It was at night, and we're
- 1:39:56Speaker 8: wearing onesies, and we got taken to the grocery store
- 1:39:59Speaker 8: with our parents, and I convinced the kids like, hey,
- 1:40:02Speaker 8: let's get some candy, and we like slipped them down
- 1:40:04Speaker 8: the onesies and then stole the candy. And then we
- 1:40:08Speaker 8: thought we were like super smart and we're hiding hiding it,
- 1:40:11Speaker 8: but we're hiding it in plain sight under a desk
- 1:40:14Speaker 8: at my house. My parents, being good parents, they saw
- 1:40:18Speaker 8: this and took me immediately back to the grocery store
- 1:40:21Speaker 8: to the manager and the manager, and then the sad
- 1:40:23Speaker 8: sat us with the manager and left us alone, and
- 1:40:25Speaker 8: the manager just like yelled at us in front of
- 1:40:28Speaker 8: all the employees and just like scared us to death.
- 1:40:32Speaker 8: And then after that, I was like, no way, I'm
- 1:40:34Speaker 8: never gonna like do anything like that ever again.
- 1:40:37Speaker 4: It's like, you know, when my mom made me go
- 1:40:39Speaker 4: back around to all the people at the apartment complex,
- 1:40:42Speaker 4: there's doors I knocked on say that we were collecting money. Yeah,
- 1:40:45Speaker 4: the American Heart Association, my proudest is.
- 1:40:49Speaker 2: Not your proudest moment. I feel like you have so
- 1:40:51Speaker 2: many that is the one.
- 1:40:54Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, like whatever, yeah, I mean, I mean.
- 1:41:00Speaker 2: That was that was just that was a mistake.
- 1:41:03Speaker 5: One thing to steal, like an impulse steal. Another thing
- 1:41:06Speaker 5: to like concoct a scheme for a charity and then
- 1:41:10Speaker 5: go to door to door to take that money.
- 1:41:11Speaker 2: That's because somebody had just as kids.
- 1:41:14Speaker 4: Somebody had just come by and did the same, Like
- 1:41:17Speaker 4: I wonder how much money they collect. It was so
- 1:41:19Speaker 4: it was just like an impulsive it.
- 1:41:21Speaker 2: Was legit fraud.
- 1:41:23Speaker 4: And then my mom's like where did all this stuff
- 1:41:25Speaker 4: come from? And like we told her, you know, and
- 1:41:29Speaker 4: she made me go back around all the all the appartments,
- 1:41:31Speaker 4: knock on the door and.
- 1:41:32Speaker 8: Yeah, I didn't have this thing though. When I was
- 1:41:35Speaker 8: working at the TV station, like right out of high school,
- 1:41:39Speaker 8: I still didn't have a lot of money. And I tried,
- 1:41:43Speaker 8: and I'm not successful, try to siphon gas out of
- 1:41:46Speaker 8: the TV station van.
- 1:41:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I couldn't get it to work. I couldn't get to.
- 1:41:53Speaker 4: Work, Sammy, not your proudest moment, I.
- 1:41:55Speaker 7: Would say when I I mean, I did do the
- 1:41:57Speaker 7: self checkout thing when I was young and you know,
- 1:41:59Speaker 7: wanted to drink. You could buy the three pack of
- 1:42:02Speaker 7: tall cans. But when you scanned it, if you positioned
- 1:42:05Speaker 7: it just right and you scanned only one beer instead
- 1:42:07Speaker 7: of the whole case, it would bring up for just one.
- 1:42:10Speaker 10: So I did that.
- 1:42:12Speaker 7: Yeah, that way it could be like if it didn't
- 1:42:13Speaker 7: work out, you're.
- 1:42:14Speaker 2: Like, oh my god, I didn't even notice.
- 1:42:15Speaker 6: I'm so sorry.
- 1:42:17Speaker 7: Dump And then we would We did this thing called
- 1:42:21Speaker 7: duct taping, where we would run duct tape along the
- 1:42:26Speaker 7: road sticky side up, and when a car hit it,
- 1:42:28Speaker 7: it sounded like they got a flat tire, even though
- 1:42:32Speaker 7: and they would pull over on the side of the
- 1:42:34Speaker 7: road to check their car.
- 1:42:35Speaker 6: It was really We would hide and watch them pull over.
- 1:42:38Speaker 7: And just start laughing and so there's no damage there.
- 1:42:44Speaker 7: We did it a decent amount, and then we got
- 1:42:46Speaker 7: carried away and we got a little cocky. I think
- 1:42:48Speaker 7: we got bored with that a little bit where we
- 1:42:50Speaker 7: went light posts to light post late at night in
- 1:42:53Speaker 7: the dark with duct tape.
- 1:42:54Speaker 6: All the way over and there was a car it
- 1:42:58Speaker 6: stopped in time.
- 1:42:59Speaker 7: But when we watch that one, we were like, oh no.
- 1:43:01Speaker 2: That could have been.
- 1:43:06Speaker 4: On a bike just taken out on the text out
- 1:43:09Speaker 4: to ninety seven, said, let's see, there was a hack
- 1:43:13Speaker 4: back in the day where we could charge your long
- 1:43:14Speaker 4: tance phone calls to another number. I did a guy
- 1:43:17Speaker 4: in a different area code, so I also taught him
- 1:43:19Speaker 4: the hack, so we could call each other and stay
- 1:43:21Speaker 4: on the phone for hours and we would charge our
- 1:43:23Speaker 4: calls to people in Hawaii.
- 1:43:25Speaker 2: That's so mean, yeah, but effective.
- 1:43:28Speaker 4: Yeah, let's see. Oh yeah, Greg, You're you're not gonna.
- 1:43:32Speaker 2: Like this one. Oh, let's see. Yeah.
- 1:43:36Speaker 4: They they said when they were a teenager, they would
- 1:43:38Speaker 4: just throw all of their garbage out the window of
- 1:43:40Speaker 4: the car as they were not not. Not their proudest moment.
- 1:43:46Speaker 6: Had a single tea exactly.
- 1:43:48Speaker 4: Not see how that might be funny when you're a
- 1:43:51Speaker 4: kid this Texas. Leaving a restaurant without paying with a
- 1:43:55Speaker 4: big group of co workers. Not my proudest with a group, Yeah,
- 1:44:00Speaker 4: not so proudest moment for me would be when I
- 1:44:02Speaker 4: was sixteen experiencing my first pregnancy scare. I was too
- 1:44:05Speaker 4: embarrassed to buy a pregnancy test, so I attempted the
- 1:44:08Speaker 4: shoplift to pack from Walmart. As I walked out, security
- 1:44:12Speaker 4: stopped me, put me in a room, and they called
- 1:44:13Speaker 4: my mom.

- 1:44:23Speaker 4: Greg throw pretty much all my trash I'll do in
- 1:44:25Speaker 4: the car, fast food wrappers, bottles, et cetera. And then
- 1:44:28Speaker 4: I did it with my mom and sister one time
- 1:44:29Speaker 4: and they're like, what did you just do?
- 1:44:31Speaker 2: Good?

- 1:44:38Speaker 4: clearance tags from TJ Max and put them on the
- 1:44:41Speaker 4: regular priced item. But I wasn't putting a clearance tag
- 1:44:44Speaker 4: on a big ticket item. It was for like, thank god,
- 1:44:49Speaker 4: no port okay this. Sometimes you guys write stuff and

- 1:45:02Speaker 4: a juice, sometimes it's the protein breakfast bars. Sometimes it's
- 1:45:06Speaker 4: a bag of chips. I walk around eating my snack
- 1:45:08Speaker 4: and then I throw the wrapper away before I check out.

- 1:45:20Speaker 4: shop hungry for that. I I needed a ladder at
- 1:45:23Speaker 4: home depot. I took a bar code off a shorter
- 1:45:25Speaker 4: ladder to get the taller ladder cheaper. I took a
- 1:45:28Speaker 4: bra from Ross, I tried it on and left it
- 1:45:31Speaker 4: over my bra and I walked out of there.
- 1:45:33Speaker 6: Yeah, double bag it.
- 1:45:35Speaker 4: I switched out earrings at Coals yesterday. I cut a
- 1:45:39Speaker 4: foot of PBC and I hit it at the bottom
- 1:45:41Speaker 4: of the basket so I wouldn't get charged. They didn't
- 1:45:44Speaker 4: have the price I needed, so they owed me.
