- 6:56Hello and welcome again to OM Radio.
- 6:59I'm Marine Corps veteran and your host, My name is Travis.
- 7:02OM Radio is part of the Huba Zoo Network.
- 7:05You can find out more on hubazoo.com.
- 7:10I want to thank my sponsors Joyce Asack of Asack Real
- 7:12Estate, Army National Guard veteran Mark Holmes of Reaper's
- 7:15Italian and Power Washing and my supporters, all veteran owned
- 7:19businesses, Caisson Shaving Company, Black Cat Designs.
- 7:24And savage American woodwork, the year's almost over.
- 7:29And you know, I told you all this in January that this is the
- 7:33year where I really embrace how much?
- 7:36I don't know. There's just a lot in life.
- 7:38I don't know. And This is why my next guest is
- 7:42so important. He's going to talk about this.
- 7:45I got connected through my Co producer and mentor Heath Hayes
- 7:49since the One Productions and folks.
- 7:52He's not a veteran. He didn't serve the military.
- 7:55He drives monster trucks. He drives monster trucks.
- 8:00You might be wondering, what is monster trucks the military
- 8:03veterans and OM Rado have to do with each other.
- 8:06You're going to find out because we have the warrior Bryce Kinney
- 8:10on OM Rado. Tell us about gearing up for
- 8:13life. Bryce.
- 8:14Welcome to OM Radio I. Appreciate that's what an honor
- 8:18as well. To be on the show, I'm a big fan
- 8:21of it as well, and so I appreciate you having me on,
- 8:23man. It's going to be a lot of fun
- 8:24today. Man, it's going to be a lot of
- 8:26fun. So Keith, Keith hits me up and
- 8:28it's like, dude, you were on drafting the circuits.
- 8:30It's a great show. Get him on.
- 8:31Do it. I'm like, OK, all right, all
- 8:34right, calm down. Pump the brakes.
- 8:36I'll. I'll get on it, no problem.
- 8:38And I said you had me at Monster Trucks.
- 8:41Yeah. You had me on monster trucks.
- 8:42I mean, my, my, my kids grew up watching, you know, Bigfoot and
- 8:47Grave Digger and, you know, Power Ford, all those cool
- 8:51monster trucks. And I got to tell you, Bryce, me
- 8:55and my sons never had a bad time watching monster trucks on TV or
- 9:01in person that the roar of those engines watching those machines
- 9:05do it. Which is like, how do they do
- 9:07that? Yeah, well, it's it's crazy that
- 9:09it's my career, right? I mean, that's what's so
- 9:12bizarre. I think everyone needs to write
- 9:13a very strongly worded letter to their high school guidance
- 9:16counselor who did not include Monster Jam as a career move,
- 9:21right? But it it's cool that I get to
- 9:23go and do that and crash a truck for a living.
- 9:25And we do a lot of stuff with the armed forces.
- 9:29And man, one of my favorite trucks in the fleet if I didn't
- 9:32drive Mohawk Warrior. It would be the Soldier Fortune
- 9:36truck because we've got a yeah, we got a veteran driver, Kayla
- 9:40Blood that drives that. And then we also have a
- 9:42gentleman by the name of Tony Oaks that used to drive Black
- 9:45Ops Soldier Fortune and now he's in this new truck that they're,
- 9:50you know, trying to make big called Thunderorus or something.
- 9:53But Tony was awesome because he was a black Blackhawk mechanic.
- 9:57That's what he did in the service.
- 9:59And I just loved watching him because he'd go out there and
- 10:01he's this big old guy, you know 6/6, 2:50, just man's man
- 10:07country as can be, even though he lives in Pennsylvania
- 10:10somehow. But a country way more of a
- 10:12southern drawl than I've got. And every time he'd go out and
- 10:15do something cool he'd stand out on the truck and he'd salute the
- 10:18crowd. And I and he what he was always
- 10:20talking about though are are were the veterans and he was
- 10:23like me and that veterans that was for you guys and stuff.
- 10:25And I just loved it. So even though I didn't get to
- 10:27serve. My grandfather was spent years,
- 10:30he retired actually out of the US Navy and so he was always
- 10:33trying to get me into the Navy as well.
- 10:35And it's a regret of mine that I didn't really get to serve
- 10:39because of just the career moves that I ended up making and it
- 10:42didn't fall in line. But man, I love that Soldier
- 10:44Fortune truck. And I would have to say if it
- 10:47wasn't Mohawk Warrior, that's the one I would try to drive.
- 10:51So this is all good stuff. We got a lot of good stuff to
- 10:53cover. How does one go from high
- 10:57school? To driving a monster truck.
- 11:00And then now an author. And that's the real, like,
- 11:03cherry on top here, give us a little background about, you
- 11:06know, what happened there. Yeah, my, so, my, my background
- 11:10and the process of becoming a Monster Jam athlete is really
- 11:14one of failure and learning from all the failures along the way.
- 11:17You know, I grew up in professional drag racing.
- 11:19Well, not even in professional drag racing.
- 11:20When I was little, I used to weed eat the fence line of my
- 11:23grandfather's drag strip that he owned back in, you know, when I
- 11:26was 8 years old. And then I would.
- 11:27You know, race our little junior dragster on the weekends and I
- 11:30loved it, man. I was eaten up with it and my
- 11:33whole family's been in Motorsports for a long time.
- 11:35In fact, my grandfather, he started out in the on old
- 11:38abandoned airstrips in the 60s, you know, working on Oldsmobiles
- 11:42and there he, you know, he end up buying a track in the 80s and
- 11:46then sold that and we went professional drag racing.
- 11:49So those long, skinny cars that go 300 miles an hour and 4
- 11:52seconds called a Top Fuel dragster, That's what we ran for
- 11:5510 years. And my dream was to drive that.
- 11:58My dream was to make a career as a professional drag racer.
- 12:02And so I actually got my license.
- 12:04I drove for a few years and that was the last big recession.
- 12:07And so walking into these corporate boardrooms and asking
- 12:09them for $3,000,000 to put their, you know, decal on the
- 12:12side of my race car just wasn't working.
- 12:14So I I got my teeth kicked in. You know, I remember feeling
- 12:18real sorry for myself, you know, at the last boardroom I walked
- 12:21out of and just like, man, this just is not working out.
- 12:23No one wants to take a a shot with me.
- 12:26And so I went to my grandfather and I was like, man, sell this
- 12:29thing. Don't keep it for me just
- 12:30because I'm your grandson. You know, like I'll if it's up
- 12:33to me, like if it's going to be, it's up to me kind of thing.
- 12:36And if it takes me 40 years to get back into it, so be it, you
- 12:39know. And so he, he sold it.
- 12:41And I went into a corporate job. I was placing CE OS in the
- 12:44private equity as a corporate recruiter.
- 12:46How funny is that? And then that's when Monster Jam
- 12:49called me. And so Travis, they called me
- 12:51and they said Bryce. You know, we've had your
- 12:53information since you got out of drag racing four years prior.
- 12:57Would you be interested in going to Monster Jam University and
- 13:01testing a truck? And my honest reaction was, and
- 13:05how much is this going to cost me?
- 13:06Because the Top Fuel stuff, it, it was so expensive.
- 13:09I had seven different jobs funneling into that Top Fuel
- 13:13drag racing dream. And so when they asked me, you
- 13:15know, to come up there and I said how much going to cost me,
- 13:17they said no, I mean, it's all our equipment like we own it.
- 13:20Monster Jam is the biggest. Motorsports fleet in the world.
- 13:22They said it's our equipment. Like, what do you mean?
- 13:24You know? And I and I, I remember
- 13:25thinking, so just a flight in a hotel, I'm, I'm negotiating with
- 13:29myself going in for 1000 bucks. We should do that because I had
- 13:32never even been to a Monster Jam event before I started talking
- 13:36to Monster Jam. I just didn't know it.
- 13:37My whole world was drag racing. To this day, I've never even
- 13:40been to a NASCAR event. All right.
- 13:42So my world has been drag racing and Monster Jam now.
- 13:45But finally they kind of got frustrated after I asked him
- 13:47like so just a flight in the hotel they go, No.
- 13:50We'll buy you a flight in a hotel.
- 13:52Can you get off of work and be in Paxton, Illinois?
- 13:55And I'm like, well, heck yeah. You know who would say no to an
- 13:58all expenses paid trip to go test drive a 12,000 LB Monster
- 14:03truck? I mean, so I jumped all over
- 14:05that and now it's eight years ago.
- 14:06So here I am. I've been full time in Monster
- 14:09Jam for the last seven years as the driver of the Great Clips
- 14:12Mohawk Warrior, and it's just been an insane ride.
- 14:14No pun intended. I'm a professional crash test
- 14:17dummy, Travis. That's what I do for work.
- 14:20So you're the one, you know, flipping the trucks over,
- 14:22bouncing them high in the air and the wheel, all that stuff
- 14:25that my, my sons liked it when they actually flipped them, like
- 14:28when Gravedigger would flip over.
- 14:30You actually do all that. Oh, yeah.
- 14:32Backflips. I love backflips.
- 14:35Love, love getting as big air. I think the biggest air I've
- 14:37ever gotten was just over 40 feet.
- 14:39So I'm level with the 2nd tier of that football stadium, that
- 14:43big, giant football stadium. I'm.
- 14:45I was level with the 2nd tier, like looking at the fans.
- 14:48So that was just surreal. But you know when you jump a
- 14:50machine that high, gravity is undefeated.
- 14:53So you're going to come back down and you're just hoping it's
- 14:56going to land, right? That's that's what you hope.
- 14:58But everyone talks about, you know, does it hurt?
- 15:01Right. And I'm going, well, yeah, it
- 15:02hurts, but it doesn't hurt as much as you would think,
- 15:06assuming everything is going the right way.
- 15:09But the key is, is momentum. And I talk about this in the
- 15:11book, in my book, geared for life quite a bit.
- 15:14Because I think life's the same way, but momentum.
- 15:17I call it the the bucket challenge or the bucket
- 15:19principle. If you're standing on top of a 5
- 15:21gallon bucket and you're just staying there still and you step
- 15:24off of it, Travis is real jarring, you know?
- 15:28If you if this, if the five gallon buck is just out there on
- 15:30the floor and you and you step over it in stride, you know you
- 15:34can't take off towards it, step on it and step off of it.
- 15:37It's not going to be as jarring, right?
- 15:38You're still going to feel the ground after you step off of.
- 15:40It's not as bad. That's the same way with the
- 15:42trucks. The faster you go and the higher
- 15:44you go honestly it, it lets everything work a little bit
- 15:48better and that the landing is way, way softer.
- 15:51The problem is when it doesn't land the way you want it to and
- 15:54you roll it cartwheel it, crash it that you know there's no
- 15:57suspension on the the. The roll cage.
- 15:59So anytime you land on that, it's never a comfortable moment
- 16:02but it's just a lot of fun and getting to push the these
- 16:05machines to their limits. I mean it's it's it's bizarre
- 16:08that we're pulling off the stuff we're pulling off and back
- 16:11flipping something that's £12,000 and you're 25 feet in
- 16:14the air upside down. Like that's always a surreal
- 16:16moment and your brain goes into this fight or flight mode and
- 16:20it's just so cool how many decisions your mind is making
- 16:24without you consciously doing it.
- 16:26And it's not until you're done with everything.
- 16:28You think back. Or maybe you're even watching
- 16:30video and you're washing your hands and your feet and
- 16:31everything, you know, driving the truck in cab and you're
- 16:35like, man, I was making a ton of decisions split second without
- 16:38even knowing it because your mind just goes into muscle
- 16:41memory at that point. So yeah, that's my job.
- 16:43Isn't that crazy? Only in America, only in.
- 16:47America. Amen.
- 16:47Yeah, well, we say that and I think we're in 20 countries this
- 16:50year. Monster Jam's gone overseas and
- 16:52just got done with an Australia tour.
- 16:54And I think we're going to be in 20 countries this year.
- 16:57Well, fantastic man. Fantastic.
- 16:59They're in Puerto Rico right now.
- 17:01Right now, the trucks are in Puerto Rico.
- 17:03They just finished up the show, so.
- 17:05That's amazing, The thing that interests me, you know, you
- 17:09know, 'cause I watched the drafting of the circuits show
- 17:12and my guy Levi, who's an Air Force veteran, was all into it.
- 17:16And the guys are great. But you know from from my show,
- 17:20it's based on, you know, military and veterans and I got.
- 17:24From, you know, just just seeing you on social media and learning
- 17:28about you that you have like a real like connection with the
- 17:32veteran community like that's that seems authentic.
- 17:35You're not doing it for you know marketing or PR.
- 17:40Where where did that come from? I'm always curious why civilian
- 17:45Will will lean so much in for for us as as veterans.
- 17:49That's because I love this country.
- 17:50You know, I I am very patriotic. I think it is absurd what is
- 17:56going on in our country right now and the lack of pride of
- 17:59being an American and that the only reason that I get to live
- 18:05the life I get to live and the freedom that we all get to
- 18:07experience And you know, watching freedom of speech be
- 18:10under attack, freedom of the Second Amendment being under
- 18:12attack, like all these things that you're like, man, there's
- 18:14so many people that gave their life.
- 18:17For for us to have these freedoms and experience it and
- 18:20the problem is, is you know there once it's once those
- 18:24freedoms are gone, you can't get them back.
- 18:25You got to shoot your way out of getting them, getting those
- 18:27freedoms back. And so I am thankful because so
- 18:31many veterans are the ones that have have served to to ensure
- 18:34that we've got the the freedoms to be able to go and and chase
- 18:37our dreams and to find our next year in life and to be able to
- 18:41pursue. The the life that we've always
- 18:44dreamed of. So I love America.
- 18:47I love studying Abraham Lincoln. I think he is an amazing leader.
- 18:50I think that what he did and pull off was he perfect.
- 18:53Absolutely not. But one of my favorite people of
- 18:56all time is John Adams and watching what he did and you
- 19:00know here he was one of our very you know, for early presidents
- 19:03and the stuff that he was able to pull off and his commitment
- 19:06to to law and and. Establishing freedoms are the
- 19:10reason why here we are 250 years later getting to experience it.
- 19:13And so yes, the you veterans out there, what you have done and
- 19:17what you're a part of not even just what you've done in your
- 19:20lifetime, but the stuff that you have, it's it's like you have,
- 19:24you have enabled the ripple effects that started back in the
- 19:261700s. You enabled the those ripple
- 19:29effects that are still, you know re trying to get to the
- 19:31shoreline. You just like threw a whole
- 19:33nother stone in the water because of your decisions in
- 19:36life and your commitment. And you created more ripple
- 19:39effects and that's what America is like.
- 19:41It's this ripple effect across the world and the fact that
- 19:44veterans go out there and are committed to freedom and
- 19:47committed to the cause of and and not always appreciated
- 19:50either, that's what's bizarre to me.
- 19:51So anyway, you've got a big fan out of Bryce Kenny.
- 19:54If you have served the military or you just love America like I
- 19:57do, man, thanks for throwing the the, the stone in the water and
- 20:01creating ripple effects for all of us to to live on and carry
- 20:04on. So you start off, you know, and
- 20:07I've been there, right? You're, you know, you're unpaid
- 20:10or maybe paid labor, I don't know, but you're unpaid labor
- 20:12for your dad or granddad doing stuff.
- 20:14And then you, you, you go into life, you work in the in the
- 20:19corporate side of things and you, you drive monster trucks.
- 20:24Tell me, where did this desire, this idea to write come from?
- 20:29Because that's not something you'd normally pair with a
- 20:32monster truck driver. Yeah, well, and and it's
- 20:34interesting too because, you know, most people wait until
- 20:36they're done with their endeavors and then they write a
- 20:40book about the experiences. And even though I wrote, you
- 20:43know, I I've got lots of stories in the book from my life as a
- 20:47Monster Jam driver and behind the scenes stuff.
- 20:49But all those stories are are there to support the points that
- 20:52I want to make, which is you know it.
- 20:55It's a conscious decision to find your gears in life, just
- 20:59like a vehicle, just like a car. You cannot go through life in
- 21:03one gear. And all of us, you know, once we
- 21:06kind of find the things we're good at, we kind of live in
- 21:08that. Or maybe someone feels like
- 21:10they've been stuck in neutral forever, right?
- 21:12They just feel like, man, there's this really all there is
- 21:14to life. Like, we all battle that moment.
- 21:17By the way, you know, your head hits the pillow and it's like,
- 21:19man, this can't be it. I thought this would be better.
- 21:22You know, I thought, I thought I'd be further along.
- 21:24At this point in my life, I don't have anything figured out.
- 21:26You know, you just start to question yourself and your
- 21:28abilities and you feel like you're just stuck.
- 21:30You know, you're making a bunch of noise like a car in neutral,
- 21:32but you're not going anywhere. And so I've become very
- 21:35passionate because what I've realized that I'm an expert at,
- 21:38right? Because if you're going to write
- 21:40a book, you better be an expert at something.
- 21:41I'm. I was looking around a couple
- 21:42years ago like, I'm not an expert at anything, am I?
- 21:44You know, what problem am I really trying to solve?
- 21:47And I went, am I the guy that could?
- 21:50Someone walks up to and says I want to be an Olympic gold
- 21:52medalist. Like what level of commitment
- 21:54and discipline and mindset do I need to have?
- 21:56That's not me. I don't know.
- 21:57You know, I don't know. I'm still, I'm.
- 21:59I'm still trying to run at that pace myself.
- 22:02But what I've become an expert at is finding my next gear so I
- 22:06don't have all the secrets to life.
- 22:07I don't think there is a secret, right.
- 22:09I think all of us have a different pathway that we're
- 22:11going down. But what I have come to realize
- 22:14is that I leverage my foundational beliefs.
- 22:17I know what I believe. I believe in absolute truth.
- 22:20I believe that there are things that are true and not true.
- 22:23And there's seven gears that I constantly shift in and out of
- 22:28throughout my life to get me unstuck and into the next phase
- 22:32and into the next chapter or into the next opportunity.
- 22:36And so going from you know professional drag racing or
- 22:39unprofessional drag racing and then professional drag racing
- 22:42and then going out into the corporate environment and then
- 22:44leveraging all of that experience in a in corporate
- 22:47boardrooms into what I do with Monster Jam today, I've, I've
- 22:50always shifted and found that next gear.
- 22:53And so I wrote Gear for Life because that verbiage helps all
- 22:58of us because we realize that just like a car getting on the
- 23:01highway, you wouldn't get on the highway even if you got an
- 23:04automatic, right. Your truck's going to start off
- 23:06in first gear, it's going to hit the on ramp and it's going to
- 23:08shift to 2nd. But here imagine being in that
- 23:12truck and it never shifting out of first year and you trying to
- 23:16get it up to Hwy. speed. That's not what it's built to
- 23:19do. It's not what it's designed to
- 23:20do, but we do that. So many people go 35 years in
- 23:24first gear and they wonder why their engine feels like it's
- 23:27about to blow up. It's like because you've been
- 23:30trying to live in first gear for too long, we got to help you
- 23:32find second gear. What's that look like?
- 23:33And that's why I wrote the book, to help people recognize their
- 23:36gears and be able to make that shift.
- 23:40Now I'm going through the book. I didn't get a chance, like
- 23:42really read, read it. But, you know, that's OK.
- 23:44I got the general. Just one thing I liked is you
- 23:47have you know Chapter 5. You know, you know empty the
- 23:51tank when you you bring stories from your life not from like a
- 23:56self help perspective, but from your life, your perspective to
- 24:00support why you should empty the tank to get in that gear and and
- 24:06so it's obvious you put yourself into this but how much of Bryce
- 24:11went into telling these stories and being the stories right to
- 24:15match the chapters to match the gear you're in.
- 24:17A lot, because I had to realize that I didn't want to preach it,
- 24:21people. You know, I don't want people to
- 24:22read it and just read my points. I wanted to make the stories,
- 24:26all make the points. You know, they support the
- 24:28points. Like, you know, here's what I
- 24:30believe, here's what I think is a is truth, and here's where I
- 24:33learned it or here's who I learned it from.
- 24:36This is when my grandfather taught me that lesson.
- 24:38This is when life kicked me in the teeth and I realized.
- 24:41That, you know, I should live this way, things just like you
- 24:44said, emptying the tank. I'm a big believer that we work
- 24:47way harder when we know where our faucet is or we know where
- 24:51the pit area is. Because it you're not, you're
- 24:54not afraid to pour out every last drop out of your cup when
- 24:59you know that it's OK because on Monday I I'm going to refill
- 25:02myself, or it's OK because I'm going to get back on Travis's
- 25:06podcast. And I'm going to get refueled.
- 25:08I'm going to get refilled through that.
- 25:09Or maybe it's prayer, or maybe it's reading a book or whatever
- 25:13it might be. Maybe it's time with your family
- 25:15or alone time, You know, whatever that might be.
- 25:17We've got to understand what fills us back up.
- 25:20And when you understand what's going to fill you back up,
- 25:22you're not afraid to expend every last drop out of that that
- 25:27gas tank. And so, and that's what we're
- 25:28all being asked to do. So it's a conscious decision
- 25:32though. To shift into that emptying the
- 25:34tank gear and being willing to do that and and we've got to
- 25:38make that decision. If that's fifth gear right,
- 25:40you've got to make sure that that you do that.
- 25:42Well, guess what? You can't stay in 5th gear
- 25:44forever. You can't empty your tank for
- 25:46the rest of your life, as sometimes you need to shift back
- 25:49out of that gear and go into your purpose gear, right?
- 25:52When I left my corporate job for Monster Jam, I took a 30% pay
- 25:55cut. The one reason I made that
- 25:58decision? Was because I remembered my
- 26:00purpose in that moment was to be someone who uses the platform of
- 26:05Motorsports to impact this world.
- 26:07It wasn't that I I was just trying to leverage 1 monetary
- 26:11salary to the next thing. In fact it was opposite but I
- 26:14had to shift into my purpose driven gear and make a purpose
- 26:17based decision not a monetary decision And so I had to shift
- 26:20in that gear to make that decision.
- 26:22So we we constantly if if you've got, if you know what gears you
- 26:26have. And what you believe in your
- 26:28core, then that's when you can find the right gear at the right
- 26:32time, and that should be the goal.
- 26:34That's how you go through life without getting stuck, without
- 26:37getting burnt out for forever, right?
- 26:40You're in. If you ever do feel burnt out,
- 26:42guess what? We're going to help you shift
- 26:43into a different gear, and it's time to do that.
- 26:45Just like an engine needs to find its next gear to make sure
- 26:49it doesn't throw the connecting rods out of the block.
- 26:52That's what we've got to help you guys do.
- 26:53So if you're tired, you're exhausted.
- 26:55You feel like Bryce, I've been empty for the last five years.
- 26:57Great. How can we help you refill the
- 26:59tank? And also, let's shift into a
- 27:02different gear. And maybe it's a creative gear,
- 27:04you know when was the last time you just swept out your garage
- 27:06and and saw real results? Sometimes I'm serious, Travis.
- 27:10Sometimes I am. I am at a loss of what to do.
- 27:14I will walk out to my shop and sweep out the floor.
- 27:17And having a cleaner, shop floor, garage floor.
- 27:21Changes my mindset because I think I get an easy win.
- 27:23I see the results, and for whatever reason, maybe
- 27:26subconsciously I realize that I can actually go and accomplish
- 27:30the things I need to go and accomplish in and I can do this.
- 27:33I can get the small wins, and those small wins build me up to
- 27:35go after that big win. That's one of the things I got
- 27:41from the book and I and you kind of touched on it.
- 27:43But see, I'm in 5th gear driving on my motorcycle and I want to
- 27:48downshift sometimes I got, you know, downshift 2 gears to to
- 27:53to, you know, slow down or get ready to turn.
- 27:57I don't really think about it though at this point and me
- 27:59driving. But with your life it almost
- 28:03seems like you need to really think about what you're trying
- 28:07to do and how to get there. I guess what I'm trying to ask
- 28:09is how do I know when the shift gears you kind of touched on it,
- 28:14but maybe kind of just feel that back for me a little bit more?
- 28:17Yeah. So imagine my Monster Jam truck,
- 28:191500 horsepower. We've only got 2 gears in that
- 28:22truck and we pretty much do all of our freestyle.
- 28:25I hit the Backflip ramp in second gear.
- 28:28It's kind of like a high and a low gear well in in racing, you
- 28:32know, we're trying to get 1500 horsepower from a standstill to
- 28:35get moving. Well, First Gear is going to do
- 28:37that job. 1st gear does not last very long.
- 28:41You know the, the, the gearing and all of that That in the
- 28:43transfer case. If anyone's mechanical out
- 28:45there, you know it first gear, you've got maybe 2 seconds
- 28:50trying to Rev that truck up and get it in motion before you need
- 28:54to to shift. If I hold first gear for very
- 28:57much longer after that, the you know, the motor is going to be
- 28:59at 8000 RPM and we're going to hurt the engine, probably blow
- 29:02it up. And and that's what it really
- 29:04is. It's understanding, hey, you're
- 29:06tired, you're exhausted. You're expended, you you have
- 29:09expended the entire gear at this point and we need to shift a lot
- 29:13of its emotion. A lot of it is understanding
- 29:16that you know you're you've lost all meaning and what you're
- 29:21doing. You know you're you just burnt
- 29:22out. That's the best way to say it.
- 29:25And if you feel burnt out, you've probably you've probably
- 29:28lost that gear, right? You need to go into the next
- 29:30one. I'm a big believer though.
- 29:32That we focus so much on the what in our life and that's the
- 29:38that's the real problem. Like we're always trying to say
- 29:40what do I need to do today Or you feel guilty because you're
- 29:44like I'm not doing enough. I'm not doing enough stuff.
- 29:48You know, and and that's the problem because I'm a big
- 29:51believer that it's more about The Who you want to be than the
- 29:55what you're not doing enough of or what you need to do more up
- 29:59and and here's what I mean by that Bryce Kenny today.
- 30:02Myself, I am not the best version of myself yet.
- 30:06Maybe I'll be the best version of myself by the time I die, I
- 30:10don't know. But who I am as a man, how
- 30:13people would describe me today and who I am, I have a an idea
- 30:18and a very clear vision on who I want to be a year from now,
- 30:22right versus today. How do I want people to be able
- 30:26to describe me one year from today?
- 30:29And now all of a sudden the what falls in line with that?
- 30:31And I'll give you a real example.
- 30:32So I want to be someone who is described as somebody that uses
- 30:39his skill set to communicate, to impact the world, right.
- 30:44So I want to be someone who uses the platform of Motorsports to
- 30:46impact this world. Well, that's why the book is a
- 30:49what, you know. It's not because I was
- 30:51passionate about writing a book. It was the the what fell in line
- 30:54with that right. It's a tool that this book
- 30:56geared for life is a tool to communicate to help people.
- 30:59Well that means that I'm going to you know when I when I'm
- 31:01trying to decide what to do in the month of January and I've
- 31:05got an opportunity to go speak somewhere and go encourage a a a
- 31:08group and a company. I'm going to go do that.
- 31:10Why? Because that aligns that what of
- 31:13what I'm going to go do aligns with who I want to be one year
- 31:17from today. And so I think that I'm a big
- 31:19believer if we get back to understanding what the best
- 31:23version of ourselves look like, then we're more willing to shift
- 31:27and to find a different gear in order to get us into that better
- 31:31version. Just like a barn find Travis.
- 31:34We look if we're guys we've we've imagined this moment.
- 31:38You don't even have to be a. Classic car guy to to imagine
- 31:41this, but you're on a back Rd. somewhere and you look up on a
- 31:44on a hillside and there you see it.
- 31:45There's headlights sticking out of a barn and there's a car
- 31:48with, you know, it's got a tarp on top.
- 31:49Price, price, price. It's a 68 Mercury Cougar.
- 31:52Oh, is that you? That's me, man.
- 31:54That's your dream. OK, I can see it.
- 31:57So you know the headlights off of that Mercury Cruiser, can't
- 32:00you? Cougar.
- 32:01They, they they they flip down, they flip up and these are one
- 32:04flip down one. I can see it right now.
- 32:06OK, so imagine that is what's sticking out of that barn,
- 32:09right? And so you would see that you'd
- 32:11pull up and that the old man would come out and he'd say,
- 32:13Yep, sure enough, he did. He's owned it for 30 years.
- 32:17And then you walk over to and he tells you it's a 68 Mercury and
- 32:19you're like, oh, I knew it. And then you rip off that tarp,
- 32:22Travis, it's covered in dust, right?
- 32:25It's not been, it's not seen. That Tarp's been sitting on
- 32:28there for 10 years. The motor hasn't been turned
- 32:31over in 15 years. Right.
- 32:34It's essentially a pile of junk in real life, because it doesn't
- 32:38run. And there's as dirty as dusty.
- 32:41My wife would see it as a pile of junk.
- 32:43You and myself, you definitely would not see it as a pile of
- 32:46junk, though. You wouldn't even Travis.
- 32:48You would not even see the dust, would you?
- 32:50You wouldn't. You would see what?
- 32:52What would what? What color would you paint it,
- 32:53by the way? Blue or black?
- 32:55Blue. OK, let's imagine it's blue.
- 32:57You could see that glossy, you know, night time blue paint job
- 33:03on it. You wouldn't even see the dust.
- 33:04You could hear that, that motor screeching already in a burnout.
- 33:09It's not been turned over in 15 years, but you could see that
- 33:12smoke billowing out of the back of the car.
- 33:14And so you can see that car as its best version, regardless of
- 33:19what you see now. But really, in reality, is it at
- 33:24its best version? No.
- 33:25But you can do that with a vehicle in a barn, but you can't
- 33:29do that as easily looking in the mirror.
- 33:31And that's the problem. We see ourselves as the dust
- 33:34covered piles of junk instead of viewing ourselves when we look
- 33:39in the mirror as what we can become and who we can become.
- 33:42And I think that when we recognize, OK, one year from
- 33:45today, who do I want to be and how do I want to be described?
- 33:49Don't wait to your funeral, right.
- 33:51Sometimes it's easier for people to think that.
- 33:52Like, how do I want people to talk about me at my funeral?
- 33:55OK, well, don't wait till you die.
- 33:56How do you want people to describe you in one year from
- 33:59now and then allow the what to kind of come in there and
- 34:02support that? And I have found way more
- 34:04clarity. And shifting into the right gear
- 34:07at the right time and finding the what in that moment that I
- 34:09need to go and do based on does this support the better version,
- 34:14the best version of who Bryce Kenny needs to be one year from
- 34:17today? And that's been a major life
- 34:19hack for me along the way. So let's let's put this like in
- 34:23veterans context real quick and even for myself is you.
- 34:26You you do this high speed, low drag job, you know you're in
- 34:30this high operational environment.
- 34:31You come out and be a civilian, right?
- 34:33And things change and you're in a different environment and
- 34:36you're not. You're not responsible for as
- 34:38much. But you are right.
- 34:41And it's hard for us to you know, find that gear for like a
- 34:45better term, the folks. The book is geared for life by
- 34:48Bryce Kinney. I'll have it in the OM radio
- 34:50show post. Make sure you get it.
- 34:52Anyway, it was very hard for me to find my gear.
- 34:57Took a long time and some veterans never find it and get
- 35:02very you know depressed and and you know that they they
- 35:07self-contained so on so forth. But what you're what it sounds
- 35:11like you're saying is you know read the book figure out what
- 35:15your purpose is or what you you know fuels your purpose and and
- 35:19go do that and things will start falling into place.
- 35:23Yeah, this is what it sounds like.
- 35:24Well, and when you were back in the service, Travis, I would
- 35:27imagine that you didn't have this big passion for the
- 35:30technical side of doing a podcast, did you?
- 35:34Yeah. So when you got out, it wasn't
- 35:36the what looks different than what you did in the service, but
- 35:40who you were as a man. I would imagine that you were
- 35:43always, you know, I would imagine that you were in some
- 35:46sort of leadership role in the Marine Corps.
- 35:48Is that right? Well, not really, but you know,
- 35:50I did lead my my launcher sessions put like that.
- 35:53Yeah exactly. So you were in this leader and
- 35:55and regardless of what the title was right it it it, it was a
- 35:59matter of you were always probably influencing people.
- 36:02I bet you were one of the biggest encouragers in the in
- 36:06the in the unit you know and so all those things that was who
- 36:09you were. So the what looks a lot
- 36:12different today in doing this awesome podcast, but The Who?
- 36:15It's it's enabled you to find this gear of doing, you know the
- 36:18podcast just as the what that supports the best version of you
- 36:23and of Travis. And so that's what I think it
- 36:25is. I think that you know a lot of
- 36:27times if someone's gotten out of the service and they're trying
- 36:29to figure out, man, I don't know what to do next and I just wish
- 36:31I could be back in the service right or something like that.
- 36:34It's like yes, but the what might look a lot different.
- 36:38But we'll let's get back to The Who you want to be in the best
- 36:40version of yourselves and the things that you want to be
- 36:43described as someone you know who goes and helps and someone
- 36:46that serves. I mean, you found one of my
- 36:48gears is becoming built for other people.
- 36:50I I know that veterans have that gear becoming built for other
- 36:54people. And this is what it looks like.
- 36:56Maybe it's it's following this passion that they have for
- 36:58welding. Let's say let's bring up
- 36:59something because that's that's something I've been thinking
- 37:01about lately. I have a passion for learning to
- 37:04Weld. I've never welded anything, but
- 37:05that's a bucket list item for me.
- 37:07Now it's it's not just because I want to go out there, maybe
- 37:10there is something that'll be therapeutic for me to you know
- 37:13make really good Weld beads on a piece of metal.
- 37:16But I know that what's going to happen is I'm going to go equip
- 37:19my passion and I'll find purpose behind that, that that desire in
- 37:24that thing that I want to go and do.
- 37:26So I've got to get really good equipment equipping myself at
- 37:30that passion to learning how to Weld.
- 37:32And down the road, though, it's not just about.
- 37:35You know, bringing two pieces of metal together, I can see myself
- 37:38starting to make metal art for, you know, families going through
- 37:44pediatric cancer. That might encourage them.
- 37:45You know, some sort of testament or some sort of of piece of art
- 37:49that I can send to them that I would encourage them and say,
- 37:51look, you know, you're a warrior.
- 37:53Maybe I can make warrior pieces and I can learn how to Weld and
- 37:55and fabricate metal that way. Like that is where your passion.
- 38:01It ultimately will find a purpose when you equip it that
- 38:03way and and I think we need to get back to that.
- 38:05It's not that I want to create art.
- 38:08It's that I want to be someone who encourages families that are
- 38:11going through a really hard time.
- 38:12And then I'm able to take my skill sets and my passions to do
- 38:15that. And so I think veterans, you
- 38:18guys have got it. You understand what it looks
- 38:20like to serve. You will understand what it
- 38:23looks like to take risks and and you also understand what it
- 38:27looks like to have faith that you're going to make it out
- 38:29alive. So why in the world could we not
- 38:33apply that to life? And the reason why is because
- 38:36people are so hung up on the what and they're trying to
- 38:39figure out what to do next. The what will fall in line when
- 38:43you become passionate about The Who and you become passionate
- 38:45about what is my best version and a better version of myself
- 38:49one year from today? Maybe it's giving up drinking,
- 38:51right? Maybe it's someone that said I I
- 38:53I would love to be someone who is described as being sober 12
- 38:58months from today. Right.
- 39:00Well, why do you want to be described as being sober 12
- 39:02months from today? And and then all of a sudden
- 39:05you're working through that stuff a little bit because of
- 39:07this, that and the other thing. You're going to have clarity
- 39:09around that who and how you're described and and why you want
- 39:13to be described that way. Then it's easier to give up the
- 39:16drink in that moment because you have a crystal clear picture of
- 39:20The Who. And that's what I mean.
- 39:21If someone was just beating you over the head saying you need to
- 39:23get sober, you need to get sober, why are you drinking
- 39:26again? It's hard because you're so
- 39:27focused on what you're doing wrong.
- 39:30And if you focus and shift that perspective on the what your
- 39:34passions and your things that you want to go and accomplish,
- 39:36I'm telling you guys the what will start to all of a sudden
- 39:39fall in line and and support The Who.
- 39:42That's the magic weapon that we all need to take into life.
- 39:47OK, so let's let's let's go to this conclusion.
- 39:52You have The Who, you have the what dialed in and you actually
- 39:56achieve your success. Whatever that success is.
- 40:00Maybe it is becoming sober, maybe it's learning how to Weld,
- 40:03maybe it's learning a new language.
- 40:06What happens when you've gone through all the gears and you've
- 40:10achieved success? What's next?
- 40:12Well, you go back into the the other gears again, right?
- 40:14So there's constantly today, right.
- 40:16I'm going into different gears after this podcast.
- 40:19I'm going, I'm, I'm, I've got something to go do after this
- 40:21where I've got to become built for other people.
- 40:24Today this podcast is actually part of my purpose gear.
- 40:27You know what am I doing here I'm I'm I'm communicating
- 40:30because of I believe my purpose is to be someone who uses the
- 40:33impact of Motorsports or the the platform of Motorsports that
- 40:35impact this world. So I'm in my purpose gear right
- 40:38now and so once you know what your gears are that's when
- 40:41you're saying OK good I've got 7 years and and and I know when I
- 40:46need to shift into those gears am I built for other people.
- 40:49Here's a here's a great example. Couple years, a couple months
- 40:52ago, I was at our our World finals event for Monster Jam,
- 40:55the biggest stage of the of the sport, and we've got people from
- 40:59all over the world that travel in for it.
- 41:00I went into that Travis, thinking this was my weekend.
- 41:04I was going to win a world finals championship, I was going
- 41:06to etch my name in history. This was it.
- 41:08Our truck was operating perfectly.
- 41:11I was operating perfectly until the truck didn't operate
- 41:14perfectly. And so all of a sudden we just
- 41:16had a bad ground coming out of a battery that threw us.
- 41:20It took me out of racing, right? And I'm like, oh gosh, OK, I'm
- 41:23frustrated because that was probably going to be my best
- 41:25event unless I kind of got lucky and freestyle and came out and
- 41:28we thought we found it, came out for freestyle, lined up for my
- 41:31very first hit in the freestyle competition.
- 41:34The truck died again and would not refire and took me out of
- 41:37free. I didn't even get to freestyle
- 41:39and I was so mad because Travis, that's not the how the the story
- 41:42was supposed to go. That's not how this chapter was
- 41:45supposed to be written. And I was mad like, I'm not, I'm
- 41:48not going to sit here and make it sound like I'm Mother Teresa
- 41:50and just oh, yeah, OK. I just shifted into a different
- 41:52gear. And I was OK emotionally.
- 41:54No, I was throwing my neck restraint.
- 41:57I was fear. I was tossing my gloves into the
- 41:59the recovery cart could not believe.
- 42:01And I was really ticked off for a good five to 10 minutes.
- 42:05But by the time I got back to the locker room, I did have to
- 42:08make that conscious decision to shift into my being built for
- 42:12other people gear. And I said to myself, you know
- 42:15what, buddy? This wasn't your day.
- 42:17It wasn't your day. Like you thought it was going to
- 42:19be in your purpose gear. That was part of, like,
- 42:21supporting this platform and stuff, right?
- 42:23That was what the the that weekend was supposed to be.
- 42:26Nope, it wasn't going to be that.
- 42:27And so it wasn't your day. But guess what?
- 42:29One of your buddies is about to have the best day of their whole
- 42:32careers when they go out and win a World finals championship in
- 42:35freestyle. So why don't you go up to the
- 42:37podium and you become the biggest cheerleader in the
- 42:40stadium and yell for all your friends and support them?
- 42:43And so that's exactly what happened.
- 42:45All of a sudden, my buddy Colt Stevens won his very first
- 42:47freestyle World finals championship and I was the first
- 42:50guy to give him the biggest bear hug when they announced his
- 42:53name. We're all jumping and
- 42:54celebrating and I was right there to celebrate him.
- 42:58Now, I don't say that to pat myself on the back because it
- 43:01was very difficult, the fact that I had to put my own desires
- 43:05and I was still, you know, I got back to the hotel room, I was
- 43:06still broken that my weekend went that way.
- 43:09But I had to make that conscious, conscious decision to
- 43:12shift into my being built for other people gear so that I
- 43:15could go and do something that was bigger than myself in that
- 43:19moment. And and that's what took me out
- 43:21of, you know, brought me out of that.
- 43:22So we've got to, ultimately, we've got to know what our gears
- 43:26are and make those conscious decisions to find the right gear
- 43:30at the right time. And when we do that, we'll never
- 43:33end up stuck. We'll never end up totally burnt
- 43:36out forever. We can always continue to go out
- 43:39there, strive for more, grind it out.
- 43:42And it's not about doing more, Travis.
- 43:44That's what people sometimes will think like, oh, Bryce, I, I
- 43:46I'm not going to pick up to that book because I'm afraid he's
- 43:48going to tell me I should be doing more.
- 43:50And that goes back to what we say.
- 43:52No, no, no. When the picture is right and
- 43:54you know the best version of yourself, trust me, the doing
- 43:57stuff will take care of themselves.
- 43:59If I'm asking you to change or to do something differently,
- 44:02it's to know what you already believe and to shape your
- 44:08beliefs. Because our beliefs Dr., our
- 44:11actions, and our actions drive results.
- 44:14If you want different results, work it backwards.
- 44:16Go OK, what actions am I have I been taking wrong or incorrectly
- 44:20or not doing enough of Great. But why am I?
- 44:22Why are those actions off base? It's because my beliefs don't
- 44:26support that. Just like you know, why would
- 44:28Why would someone that you know believes that animals should be
- 44:31protected be having dog fights in their backyard, right.
- 44:34Those things don't work. When you believe something, your
- 44:36actions typically will follow that belief and then those
- 44:40actions will ultimately take care of themselves.
- 44:41So go back to the beginning, understand what you believe
- 44:44foundationally. You know, is America a good
- 44:47country or not? I believe we're a great country.
- 44:50I believe we're the greatest country to ever be on planet
- 44:52Earth. Why is that?
- 44:54So that's going to support my actions.
- 44:55Am I going to go and burn down a town?
- 44:58You know, when I'm frustrated at at, at, at results or something
- 45:02like that. So no, I'm not.
- 45:03Why? Because I love the country, and
- 45:05that's what I mean. You, our beliefs shape our
- 45:07actions. So instead of beating yourself
- 45:09up that you're not taking all the right actions, go back to
- 45:11the beliefs and pick up gear for life.
- 45:13Because that's what's going to challenge you.
- 45:14By the end of the book, you're probably going to steal some of
- 45:17my gears, but my guess is that you're going to uncover some of
- 45:21your own, and those are the gears you're going to hang on
- 45:24to. Maybe it's not seven, maybe it's
- 45:25two. But find those different gears.
- 45:28Make that next shift that you need to make.
- 45:30Find the right gear at the right time and watch the results and
- 45:34the impact that you're going to start to make every single day
- 45:37of your life. Well, just, you know, winding
- 45:39this down, one of the gears that really spoke out to me was
- 45:41Chapter 4, you know, pressure, second gear, choose to believe
- 45:45rather than doubt. And and you know, I've had to,
- 45:48you know, make choices to believe in the last couple of
- 45:51years and it really resonated. You know, take the action to
- 45:55believe and and doubt will take care of itself.
- 45:58It was just really impactful. You know you, you've written
- 46:02this book. It's out now.
- 46:04Where can you get the book, Bryce?
- 46:06Yeah, any thank you anywhere Books are sold so everyone buys
- 46:09everything off Amazon it feels like nowadays.
- 46:12So it's definitely on Amazon. Barnes and Noble books-a-million
- 46:15Audible. So if you guys like audiobooks I
- 46:18actually voice it over. So that way, you know, I love
- 46:21the fact that you know, I've I've, I've, I've always been a
- 46:24hard copy guy. Like I like to make notes and
- 46:26books and stuff. But I after voicing over the
- 46:28book I went, I would actually listen to more books on tape if
- 46:32the author was the one that voiced it over.
- 46:34Because then they can give the sarcasm where it meant to be
- 46:36sarcastic, you know, and kind of have that inflection point
- 46:39because they wrote it. They know the story.
- 46:41So I actually had a lot of fun voicing over the book, but
- 46:44that's on Audible. And yeah, I can walk in and pick
- 46:48up a hard copy somewhere if you need to at a Barnes and Noble.
- 46:50But yeah, it's it's everywhere. Books are sold.
- 46:53And I would be honored if people had a chance to to read through
- 46:56it, uncovered their gears, and and finally found that next year
- 47:00they never knew they had. What's next after this book?
- 47:03You you you've got it out there you you there's stories from
- 47:07your life and and and it's and I will say it's not self helpish.
- 47:11And it's not like you must do this.
- 47:14You must make this plan. It's just here's, here's the
- 47:16gear I want you to think about. Here's a story to support that.
- 47:20And here's what you can do if you embrace that.
- 47:22What? What's next for you after this,
- 47:24Bryce? That's a great question.
- 47:26So my, if I had to say my next gear, it's going to be I'm doing
- 47:31a lot more corporate speaking. I love doing.
- 47:34I'm doing a lot more church speaking to men's events and
- 47:36men's conferences. And honestly, even though I'm a
- 47:39Christian, I never thought that that would necessarily be part
- 47:42of what I was doing. And and and and organically,
- 47:46it's just because I've always rubbed a lot of churches wrong
- 47:50because I, I, you know, I love going back to to scripture and
- 47:55taking things that people claim and saying what did scripture
- 47:58say and all that stuff. So that's actually been a lot of
- 48:00fun though going and doing these men's events with that but also
- 48:03doing a ton of corporate work. So I I think that the book is a
- 48:08spoke to the Wheel. My nonprofit which is Live Like
- 48:12Warriors is probably the closest thing to my heart.
- 48:15And I, if anyone wants to be a part of this, we basically it's
- 48:19a volunteer army where we make a coordinated effort to go and
- 48:23fill very specific needs in the world.
- 48:26And I bet 98% of what we've done is in pediatric cancer.
- 48:31It's celebrating these little warriors and these families that
- 48:34need help. But we find specific needs and
- 48:36OK, we got this piece of furniture that this family needs
- 48:39is 1500 bucks. We crowd fund for that.
- 48:41Every dollar that we raise goes to the need.
- 48:44It's not going to a salary or anything like that.
- 48:46But I've got something called a warrior chain.
- 48:48And so if you're listening to this podcast, I want you to
- 48:50strongly consider being part of it.
- 48:52And that's just, it's like a bat signal up in the sky.
- 48:55So when we find a need, that's the first place I go to and say,
- 48:57hey warriors, you know, people that have been on this are on
- 49:01this warrior chain. We send out an e-mail and say
- 49:03this is what we're looking to do.
- 49:04Does anyone, Maybe it's logistics, maybe it's not
- 49:06monetary, maybe it's trying to get a wheelchair from Montana to
- 49:11New York and someone just so had, oh you know what, my uncle
- 49:14is a long haul driver and they're on that route.
- 49:16You just never know and just making a coordinated effort what
- 49:20we can pull off and what we've been able to it's been
- 49:22everything from a you know $1000 item to a $20,000 vehicle that
- 49:26we were able to purchase for a family we found out was Ubering
- 49:282 hours one way to their cancer treatments and we're like that's
- 49:32not OK, right. So we went and filled that
- 49:34specific needs and so yeah, go on livelikewarriors.com and then
- 49:39it'll a box will pop up right there or you can follow the tab
- 49:42says get involved but join our warrior chain and yeah let's go
- 49:46make a difference together. But I think that everything I
- 49:48think about and do communication wise, the platform of
- 49:51Motorsports like I said to go impact the world.
- 49:53That impact the world part is through my live like Warriors
- 49:56nonprofit and the Sky's the limit with that.
- 49:58And then we just need a lot of good people that's raise their
- 50:01hands say, hey, look, I'm willing to serve.
- 50:02I'm willing to help and willing to to to play whatever role I
- 50:06need to play to to to to go out there and help other people.
- 50:09And that's what we're doing. Fantastic.
- 50:11Fantastic. I think this message, you know,
- 50:14I've enjoyed what I've read from the book.
- 50:16I've enjoyed talking with you. I think it will really resonate
- 50:20with my community, veterans of people who are serving, because
- 50:24you know, we are, we are rebooting our lives.
- 50:26You've had to reboot your life several times.
- 50:28You know, we're going to understand where you're coming
- 50:30from. It's going to seem like, you
- 50:31know, different from somebody just up there stealing stuff.
- 50:36So you know. You're doing all this stuff
- 50:40outside of racing. You do racing as well.
- 50:43Well, Monster truck, Monster Jam.
- 50:46You know what's next for the Warrior in the Monster truck?
- 50:49Yeah, so I'll be in Anaheim, CA next week for our Superstar
- 50:53Challenge, which is going to be a lot of fun.
- 50:55And our main season though doesn't kick off till January.
- 50:58So pretty much January through May I'll be gone most of the
- 51:01weekends and going traveling around the country and really
- 51:05all of North America and doing events and and I typically do
- 51:08the bigger football stadiums. So if someone said has Monster
- 51:11Jam coming through their town it doesn't necessarily mean I'll be
- 51:14on that tour. There's six different tours
- 51:16going on and I'm on one of the big football stadium tours so
- 51:19mostly on the East Coast with a couple West Coast riddled in
- 51:22there. But yeah man I'm looking forward
- 51:24to getting back out on the competition road and and going
- 51:27up against some of these other Monster Jam drivers and yeah the
- 51:30great Clips Mohawk Warrior truck.
- 51:32We're going to try to win a A season championship this year.
- 51:35Well, awesome. We'll have all the links to, you
- 51:38know, Bryce's nonprofit, the book and the truck, so you can
- 51:41follow along. We can cheer him on as he goes
- 51:43through 2024. You know, Bryce again, it's just
- 51:46amazing how much I don't know. And I think what this book did
- 51:50for me and what I hope it does for for you all watching,
- 51:53listening is it. It allows you to look at
- 51:55yourself differently so you can get the most out of your engine.
- 52:00Amen. Yeah, well said.
- 52:01Go maximize it and and and and go find that next year you never
- 52:05knew you had. And it's in you guys.
- 52:07You guys know it and you're you're already have all the raw
- 52:11ingredients to go and do what what's in your heart?
- 52:13We just got to help you uncover that stuff.
- 52:15We just have to have you find your next gear.
- 52:17That's it. Don't feel like you got to
- 52:18figure it all out and have life figured out.
- 52:20Let's just go help you find the next gear and let's go help a
- 52:23lot of people make a difference. Bryce, I want to thank you for
- 52:26coming on OM Radio and and you know, being super gummy to to

- 52:34And again, thank you very much. I appreciate you, man.
- 52:37Thank you for your service and man, I'm, I'm just thrilled to
- 52:40be on. It's a huge honor.
- 52:42Hope I get to come back later. So again folks, that is Bryce
