- 0:48Speaker 1: the just started. There's a text here, a couple of
- 0:52Speaker 1: text messages.
- 0:53Speaker 3: I'm with John Jay on how irritated he's getting a
- 0:55Speaker 3: people calling in for a game and not paying attention
- 0:57Speaker 3: or knowing any of this.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Lungs from the artists that they want to go. That's
- 1:01Speaker 1: funny because that's happened quite a bit.
- 1:03Speaker 3: You know how when we give away prizes sometimes I'll
- 1:06Speaker 3: say condensation prize. Right, this person says, oh, I just
- 1:11Speaker 3: the text just refreshed on me as I was reading it.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Hold On, I thought it was a great Hold here
- 1:15Speaker 1: we go.
- 1:16Speaker 3: You guys should make a T shirt that has a
- 1:19Speaker 3: John Jay and Rich logo on the back and on
- 1:21Speaker 3: the front it just says Condensation prize. That's genius instead
- 1:25Speaker 3: of selling it. It's a unique shirt that you give
- 1:27Speaker 3: to people who lose games on the show.
- 1:30Speaker 1: That a great idea.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Although I kind of want to win one of those,
- 1:33Speaker 2: maybe more than the real prize, because that sounds awesome.
- 1:35Speaker 1: We don't have me yet throwing the game.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Yeah, just to get a condensation prize.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Not a bad idea. Very funny anyway, So Rich, you
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to tell this story to make it. I laughed
- 1:45Speaker 1: so hard in this story.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Okay, So you know, Stacy, my wife started this new
- 1:49Speaker 2: business which is like like a custom event venue, and
- 1:53Speaker 2: the neighborhood there they're in there's no clubhouse in the neighborhood,
- 1:57Speaker 2: so a lot of times people like to use the
- 2:00Speaker 2: clubhouse for you know, like bunkle groups. And there was
- 2:03Speaker 2: a bunch of I won't say a bunch of, but
- 2:05Speaker 2: a couple of retired ladies I would say in their
- 2:08Speaker 2: seventies that wanted to use it for Bunco and Stacey
- 2:11Speaker 2: thought they were so sweet. She pretty much gave them
- 2:13Speaker 2: the room and they had She gave them champagne, she
- 2:17Speaker 2: gave them all of this stuff, and they're like, how
- 2:19Speaker 2: can we thank you? We've had such a good time,
- 2:23Speaker 2: and she said, well, we're a new business and we
- 2:27Speaker 2: really get new customers with positive Google reviews. So if
- 2:31Speaker 2: you just go on and leave us a positive Google review,
- 2:35Speaker 2: that's all we need a positive Google review. So they
- 2:38Speaker 2: all leave and they're all like, no problem, we're going
- 2:40Speaker 2: to do that. So the next morning she wakes up
- 2:43Speaker 2: and she's she's laughing and she's showing me that the
- 2:48Speaker 2: ladies actually sent her an email of what they like
- 2:51Speaker 2: about Google. They left her a positive Google review, and
- 2:55Speaker 2: they're like, I think it's great that I can look
- 2:57Speaker 2: up what time Walgreen's open so I can get my
- 3:00Speaker 2: medications or sometimes you don't know an addressed to a
- 3:04Speaker 2: restaurant that you're meeting a girlfriend of the red Hat
- 3:07Speaker 2: group four. So eight ladies left her positive Google reviews
- 3:11Speaker 2: how much they love Google. On the Google they left
- 3:21Speaker 2: her a positive Google review, so they emailed her a
- 3:25Speaker 2: buzz Google is so great, we love it so much.
- 3:29Speaker 2: That is classic, And I was thinking, that is totally
- 3:32Speaker 2: your relative is your family your parents just not getting
- 3:35Speaker 2: how life works nowadays? They just don't understand the speed
- 3:39Speaker 2: of life right now.
- 3:40Speaker 3: Shine, you got a story about an older person or
- 3:42Speaker 3: your parents not getting technology.
- 3:45Speaker 4: Yes, what happens. My mom does not understand a credit card,
- 3:51Speaker 4: ow you not so the debit card is, but she
- 3:54Speaker 4: doesn't know what a credit card is. And I've explained
- 3:56Speaker 4: it to her multiple times. I think down to it
- 4:00Speaker 4: ten times.
- 4:02Speaker 1: What does she think down to the point.
- 4:03Speaker 4: Where she thinks it's great? But she keeps going to
- 4:07Speaker 4: the ATM machine trying to check out money because I
- 4:11Speaker 4: said it to her. She can't check out money with
- 4:14Speaker 4: her credit card. So I think that's my mom.
- 4:21Speaker 2: People, old people in technology sometimes just well, I mean,
- 4:23Speaker 2: credit cards have been around for a while, but have
- 4:25Speaker 2: there credit cards free money?
- 4:26Speaker 1: That's all I look at it.
- 4:28Speaker 2: I'm like, that's a good idea to give your mom
- 4:30Speaker 2: a credit card, And she really didn't happen in the
- 4:32Speaker 2: first place.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Like credit cards could get you into some serious trouble
- 4:35Speaker 1: if you're not careful. That's true, especially when they're on
- 4:37Speaker 1: your phone. Exactly too easy to pay show that all right,
- 4:43Speaker 1: thanks for calling in.
- 4:45Speaker 4: You're so.
- 4:46Speaker 3: I was googling, you know, parents that don't understand technology,
- 4:50Speaker 3: and I think when I'm reading some of these, they're
- 4:52Speaker 3: so funny, Like parents will end every casual text with
- 4:55Speaker 3: love mom and dad or sincerely.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Dad, Like my dad does that.
- 4:58Speaker 3: You don't have to do that expecial because you already
- 5:00Speaker 3: know who the person is the texting like Blake, let me, Actually,
- 5:03Speaker 3: my dad does that all he has Dad.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Do you know what LOL stands for?
- 5:08Speaker 4: Laugh fell out?
- 5:09Speaker 1: Yeah? A lot of people think it's lots of love.
- 5:12Speaker 1: This happens a lot.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Accidentally dictating an entire real life conversation into a text
- 5:16Speaker 3: message and then hitting sana.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Yes, I've done that.
- 5:19Speaker 3: The flashlight trap walking around the grocery store with the
- 5:21Speaker 3: phone flashlight actually blinding everyone from their ship pocket. The
- 5:27Speaker 3: photo flip trying to take a picture of a landmark
- 5:29Speaker 3: but actually taking a close up selfie. So uh polite
- 5:34Speaker 3: googling may call it typing. Please find the nearest grocery store.
- 5:37Speaker 3: Thank you, into the Google grocery bar. Well, you know what,
- 5:40Speaker 3: I do that with AI because I don't want to.
- 5:42Speaker 3: I wanted to, I wanted to think I'm grateful.
- 5:44Speaker 2: I say please and chat GBT And this is in.
- 5:47Speaker 1: The search bar, not the JATGBT.
- 5:51Speaker 3: Accumulating three hundred and forty seven open Safari tabs because
- 5:54Speaker 3: they don't realize tabs can be closed. Okay, that's me
- 5:58Speaker 3: on my phone anyway. Eight seven seven nine three seven
- 6:01Speaker 3: one of four. So I want to hear about any
- 6:03Speaker 3: technology mishaps from your parents are from older people.
- 6:06Speaker 2: And we hear the John Jay and Rich would appreciate
- 6:08Speaker 2: a positive Google review as well.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that is so funny.
