- 0:11Speaker 2: Big show, Jason Hitz might note, and Kisi, I'll give
- 0:17Speaker 2: your mad Barsard's great to have your company on this
- 0:20Speaker 2: wet and moist Wednesday afternoon.
- 0:23Speaker 3: It is the eleventh of March twenty twenty six, and you,
- 0:26Speaker 3: my friends, as always listening to the big show brought
- 0:30Speaker 3: to you by Toledos.
- 0:32Speaker 4: All the good stuff, no nasties, try Toledo's today.
- 0:39Speaker 3: We actually thought of a good phrase for that today,
- 0:42Speaker 3: didn't we. Mogi. Oh, if you're having a shot, having
- 0:45Speaker 3: a shock, I have it. You have a Toledos.
- 0:50Speaker 5: Just give you that little bit of energy, you know
- 0:52Speaker 5: what I mean?
- 0:52Speaker 3: Yeah, totally speaking of energy, tell you what's been giving
- 0:56Speaker 3: me energy? Watching you on the computer there with your
- 0:59Speaker 3: tight tea, I can literally see your abs pressing against
- 1:05Speaker 3: the T shirt, and boy, it's doing something for me. Magie,
- 1:08Speaker 3: I've got to be honest with you.
- 1:09Speaker 5: Yeah, well I'm going pretty grouse today, man. Yeah, I
- 1:12Speaker 5: haven't had a shocker today at all at all. We'll
- 1:16Speaker 5: be getting into that shortly, but it did involve one
- 1:18Speaker 5: of the emergency services. Yes, coming into close contact with
- 1:22Speaker 5: me and mine. So happy day is there. But other
- 1:24Speaker 5: than that, man, I'm having a ball pounded away on
- 1:26Speaker 5: my laptop doing a little bit of work. Nice stuff, yelp, yeah,
- 1:29Speaker 5: great stuff. How are you going pack son? Of course
- 1:31Speaker 5: we should tell people no keysy today.
- 1:33Speaker 3: He's got the lurgie now.
- 1:35Speaker 4: Yeah, so apparently he's picked up what you had J.
- 1:37Speaker 4: C Rickins, which he's obviously thrilled about.
- 1:40Speaker 6: I'm all good, thanks for asking.
- 1:42Speaker 4: I'm pretty happy, grateful to be here with you fellas
- 1:43Speaker 4: as always busy day, but always happy to arrive at
- 1:46Speaker 4: the Big Show.
- 1:47Speaker 3: Yeah, totally man, a massive shallow head by the way,
- 1:50Speaker 3: I'm looking at the programmerhead and it's huge. Speaking of which, Moggie,
- 1:55Speaker 3: what is coming up?
- 2:00Speaker 6: What's happening on the Big Show with old moments?
- 2:04Speaker 5: Later on we're going to be talking to a train driver.
- 2:10Speaker 5: She's going to be the driver, I think on the
- 2:12Speaker 5: Chin's Alpine. We're off on that little trip on Friday there.
- 2:16Speaker 5: PAGs needs a little bit of car advice after his
- 2:19Speaker 5: heap as shit packs up the Big Show cars man,
- 2:23Speaker 5: tell you what, man, we are absolutely going great.
- 2:26Speaker 3: Guns, but you guys are having shockers at the moment.
- 2:28Speaker 3: You see, this is what happens when you buy a
- 2:30Speaker 3: car because of the look of the car rather than
- 2:32Speaker 3: the functionality.
- 2:34Speaker 4: I knew the guy that had the brown seats and
- 2:37Speaker 4: the weird shrill and the cream and then it got
- 2:40Speaker 4: stolen and that was like a saga on the Big
- 2:42Speaker 4: Show for like a year.
- 2:43Speaker 3: It didn't break down, it was stolen.
- 2:46Speaker 5: It was so cool, right, yeah, yeah, yeah, And also fellas,
- 2:52Speaker 5: next up we're going to begining to the fact that
- 2:54Speaker 5: I had that shoka yes today, got a handy man
- 2:56Speaker 5: and and ended up with not one, not too but
- 2:59Speaker 5: three fire engines. Star enough at work.
- 3:04Speaker 1: The Darchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio holdk.
- 3:08Speaker 3: There on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this Wednesday afternoon.
- 3:12Speaker 3: The time is thirteen minutes past four o'clock.
- 3:14Speaker 5: Fellers, I had something of a shock it today. I
- 3:18Speaker 5: guess you could say. We had a little bit of
- 3:20Speaker 5: work to do at an office at my other work
- 3:23Speaker 5: that I've got, so I got a handy man, and oh,
- 3:26Speaker 5: a handy man, and it wasn't it wasn't difficult work,
- 3:28Speaker 5: but it was beyond me, especially because I had I
- 3:33Speaker 5: have neither the skills nor the time to get these
- 3:35Speaker 5: sorts of things.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Nor the inclination.
- 3:38Speaker 5: So one of the jobs was putting some shelves up.
- 3:42Speaker 5: One of the other jobs was putting up these holders
- 3:45Speaker 5: for some backdrops backdrops. One of the other jobs was
- 3:50Speaker 5: some hooks for headphones. And one of the other jobs
- 3:53Speaker 5: was we've got we've got these fake pillars in our
- 3:57Speaker 5: podcast studio, right, how cool. They're made out of plywood,
- 4:01Speaker 5: but they're made to look like concrete pillars, and so
- 4:05Speaker 5: we needed to shave off or cut off. There are
- 4:07Speaker 5: about three hundred by three hundred square long columns we
- 4:10Speaker 5: had to get rid of about three hundred mile off
- 4:12Speaker 5: the top of one of those bastards here. And when
- 4:14Speaker 5: I say well, I mean him And he said to me,
- 4:17Speaker 5: where should I do that? Out on the street, And
- 4:19Speaker 5: we're on a main street in Norkland. I said, now,
- 4:21Speaker 5: probably not the go man, just do it in that
- 4:23Speaker 5: little hallway there by the toilet. She'll be all good.
- 4:26Speaker 5: And he's like right, oh, so and he goes there.
- 4:29Speaker 5: He starts ripping in with the skills. All good. Well,
- 4:31Speaker 5: next thing you know, the fire alarms going off and
- 4:35Speaker 5: it's a hard wird and a whole building. So we're
- 4:37Speaker 5: about three story four story building and the alarm's going
- 4:41Speaker 5: off throughout the building, and it's followed by there is
- 4:45Speaker 5: a fire. This is a voice that's going out, right,
- 4:47Speaker 5: there is a fire. Evacuate the building now, then more siren,
- 4:53Speaker 5: then him repeating that over and over again. Now I've
- 4:56Speaker 5: gone running in to see what I can do, and
- 4:59Speaker 5: what I thinkly you do is you try and move
- 5:02Speaker 5: the air away from the detector so that it stops.
- 5:05Speaker 5: My handyman mate is just standing there sort of looking
- 5:08Speaker 5: at it. The other guy that works with me, he
- 5:11Speaker 5: came in and we're trying to wave the stuff away
- 5:13Speaker 5: and the handyman's just going, oh, sorry, mate, sorry, So
- 5:16Speaker 5: you can you can help it. Yeah, we're opening and
- 5:20Speaker 5: closing the door, you know, to try and suck it.
- 5:22Speaker 5: It's like a vacuum and it sucks all the year
- 5:24Speaker 5: out when you do that.
- 5:25Speaker 3: So we're doing that.
- 5:26Speaker 5: Clears it out really well.
- 5:27Speaker 4: But in those scenarios, does the fire alarm turn off
- 5:30Speaker 4: if you actually clear it or is it just like well, it.
- 5:32Speaker 5: Does with a smoke detector, but not a hard wired
- 5:35Speaker 5: smoke alarm that goes directly to the fire surface. Yes,
- 5:39Speaker 5: So we come outside and we can hear fire alarms,
- 5:44Speaker 5: fire sirens approaching. Three appliances turn up, Yes, fourteen firemen
- 5:50Speaker 5: and I say firemen because they are all men.
- 5:53Speaker 3: Can I just clarify here the smoke was that from a.
- 5:57Speaker 5: Skills There was no smoke particle in the year. Okay,
- 6:01Speaker 5: what does the detector was confused? Yes, so fourteen fireman,
- 6:10Speaker 5: three appliances, and every other business in our building out
- 6:14Speaker 5: on the footpath absolutely few. Yeah, so yeah, been a
- 6:19Speaker 5: busy day, Been a busy day. So that's a bit
- 6:24Speaker 5: of a that's a bit of a shocker. And I'm
- 6:27Speaker 5: just wondering how much I'm going to get charged for that, right,
- 6:30Speaker 5: I don't see it. I can't see it being free.
- 6:32Speaker 3: Well, we had an incident at our house about about
- 6:35Speaker 3: eight years ago and we had one fire truck ten up.
- 6:40Speaker 3: That costs US two and a half thousand. So what's
- 6:44Speaker 3: that's another seven years down the line? Three? You're probably
- 6:49Speaker 3: ten yeah, maybe ten k?
- 6:51Speaker 5: There, Mogi, it's good stuff. Do I get to take
- 6:58Speaker 5: that off? That ten grand? Off my handyman's built voice?
- 7:01Speaker 5: The question becomes is it my fold or is it
- 7:03Speaker 5: his fault? Or is it our fault?
- 7:06Speaker 6: Why not yours?
- 7:08Speaker 3: But mine and his? Well?
- 7:12Speaker 6: Three he did offer to take it outside.
- 7:15Speaker 5: He did, but on the street on a main street
- 7:18Speaker 5: with a skill sewer out in front of businesses on
- 7:20Speaker 5: the main street in Auckland. To me, it didn't feel
- 7:22Speaker 5: like I thought we'd being you know, yes, better neighbors than.
- 7:26Speaker 3: That, and you'd need a massive extension card.
- 7:29Speaker 5: That's true, you know, that's absolutely true. There's also it's
- 7:32Speaker 5: a very small area. There's also a shower in a
- 7:34Speaker 5: toilet and both of those have got smoke detectors in
- 7:36Speaker 5: them as well, So there's three in a very small space.
- 7:39Speaker 5: Those other two were covered with plastic and masking tape.
- 7:43Speaker 6: Right. So after all that, Gareth on three for three
- 7:46Speaker 6: wants to know if the pillars look good.
- 7:48Speaker 5: And so good, I mean they've been cut on a
- 7:51Speaker 5: massive angle.
- 7:55Speaker 4: Continues, Yeah, three for eights free every text in the
- 7:58Speaker 4: drawer for a fifty dollars cash prize from our mates
- 8:01Speaker 4: at Toledo's.
- 8:02Speaker 6: We want to know who's at fold here, thank you,
- 8:05Speaker 6: and how much those trucks are going to cost? Who's this?
- 8:07Speaker 3: Jase super Grass.
- 8:11Speaker 1: The Hold Arching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
- 8:14Speaker 1: tune in week days at four on Radio Hodarkey.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Is indeed the Black Keys. There on the radio Hodarchy
- 8:20Speaker 3: Big Show this Wednesday afternoon. The time is twenty five
- 8:23Speaker 3: minutes past four o'clock. An old Moogi has had a
- 8:26Speaker 3: bit of a shocker. He got a handyman round to
- 8:29Speaker 3: his workplace who was chopping up some pillars and accidentally
- 8:33Speaker 3: set off the fire alarm. We're upon three fire engines
- 8:37Speaker 3: turned up in fourteen firefighters. One of the things I
- 8:41Speaker 3: noticed with the pick that you sent task there's so
- 8:44Speaker 3: much edmund that the firefighters are carrying. They've got these.
- 8:47Speaker 5: It's like there's too much stuff. Man, Well, there's too
- 8:50Speaker 5: much stuff when there's no fire.
- 8:52Speaker 3: Well, especially when there's no fire.
- 8:54Speaker 5: I wondered about that as well. Actually, when they turn
- 8:56Speaker 5: up but they guarded there's not a fire, they must
- 8:58Speaker 5: be desperate to put out a fire.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Yeah, you'd think so.
- 9:02Speaker 5: Yeah. So anyway, we're just trying to work out who's
- 9:03Speaker 5: fault it is. There's a text here three four h
- 9:06Speaker 5: three take the backbone stance and blame it on anyone
- 9:08Speaker 5: but yourself, Mogi. Yes, that's what I'm doing.
- 9:12Speaker 6: I like that you've picked that text first.
- 9:13Speaker 4: Someone here says that you should make the handyman pay
- 9:17Speaker 4: because of something called public liability insurance, which I've never
- 9:20Speaker 4: heard of. But if that you might want to look
- 9:22Speaker 4: into that. Gwyn wants to know. Oh, another one on
- 9:26Speaker 4: public liability insurance. That's too mogi.
- 9:29Speaker 5: There, I can tell you what this guy does not
- 9:32Speaker 5: have public liability insurance.
- 9:34Speaker 3: Yes, I don't even know what that is, to be honest,
- 9:37Speaker 3: But what I'd do is if he sends an annoying invoice,
- 9:39Speaker 3: I'd just be like, I don't think so.
- 9:42Speaker 5: My friend, another one here? How many of the fourteen
- 9:45Speaker 5: firemen we're rock in tashes? Probably thirteen? Yeah, and I
- 9:50Speaker 5: want to see Yeah.
- 9:51Speaker 6: The text sort of went wayward after a bit.
- 9:53Speaker 4: Did you take the opportunity to go get some shirtless
- 9:55Speaker 4: picks with the fellas?
- 9:56Speaker 3: No? I didn't. I didn't know.
- 9:58Speaker 5: I was I had my head head old and shame.
- 10:01Speaker 5: To be completely honest with you, it was pretty embarrassing
- 10:03Speaker 5: standing out on the street with fire alarms going off.
- 10:07Speaker 3: Watched them about while you're out on the street there.
- 10:10Speaker 5: Well, I just say I did say to them, you
- 10:12Speaker 5: know what is this going to cost me? Because the
- 10:14Speaker 5: first thing I thought was this is not going to
- 10:16Speaker 5: be cheap and with some kind of a fine for
- 10:18Speaker 5: getting them out here and they're just say, oh, you know,
- 10:20Speaker 5: get some you can get us some beers if you
- 10:23Speaker 5: like nice, get us some whiskey. And I see, well
- 10:27Speaker 5: I could give you some stripper dollars because I've got
- 10:29Speaker 5: the strippers right next door. And that sort of killed
- 10:32Speaker 5: the conversation. Killed the conversation.
- 10:36Speaker 3: Yeah, well maybe some of them worst strippers maker you know,
- 10:38Speaker 3: it might have been actually they were hot the fire
- 10:41Speaker 3: and it's a very popular genre male stripper.
- 10:46Speaker 5: No, I agree, I absolutely agree.
- 10:48Speaker 3: I mean, I I think it's fair to say. And
- 10:51Speaker 3: you know, scenarios that I might have had my boudoir.
- 10:54Speaker 3: There might have been like a fireman scenario with old
- 10:58Speaker 3: Hoody j Hoidy Jay dressed up in certain gears.
- 11:03Speaker 5: Were you like dressed up as the damsel industries?
- 11:06Speaker 1: Yes, the Hlarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy.
- 11:11Speaker 3: Tune in on Radio Nirvana. There on the radio ho
- 11:15Speaker 3: Lukey Big Show this Wednesday afternoon. The time is fourth
- 11:20Speaker 3: andty seven fills. Can I just bring something up before
- 11:24Speaker 3: we get into Pugsn's Hello travesty that happened to him today?
- 11:30Speaker 3: I've noticed since I've been back, the eating of chips,
- 11:37Speaker 3: small little packets of chips. Mogi came in about half
- 11:40Speaker 3: an hour ago with his own little packet and he
- 11:42Speaker 3: ate them in the corner over there. Then I walked
- 11:45Speaker 3: out to Studio B and this old pugson with his
- 11:49Speaker 3: own little packet of chippies in the corner. They're looking
- 11:53Speaker 3: very suspicious. Then he tried to sort of hide them
- 11:56Speaker 3: as I walked.
- 11:57Speaker 6: Through, wouldn't get that far, and I'm like.
- 11:59Speaker 3: What's going on, fellows now? I think it's on the
- 12:02Speaker 3: record that I've gone out on a limb for you guys,
- 12:05Speaker 3: you backbones. Many many times have I put my reputation
- 12:11Speaker 3: at stake by blatantly stealing chips from boxes all around
- 12:16Speaker 3: the office. I mean, what's happened here? I mean I
- 12:19Speaker 3: thought we were a team, that we shared stuff. All
- 12:23Speaker 3: of a sudden, it's little individual packets of chippies and
- 12:27Speaker 3: none for whaty jes Jerzy.
- 12:29Speaker 5: You've been stealing in small packets of chips for months
- 12:32Speaker 5: and when you get them, you hummu them, you hummo
- 12:35Speaker 5: them yourself. Nobody asks you for any and fear is
- 12:38Speaker 5: fear when it comes to that. Now, if I was
- 12:40Speaker 5: rolling in here with a big bag, Jase, you'd be
- 12:42Speaker 5: the first person I shared them with the very very first.
- 12:46Speaker 4: Might be second for me. But if I brought in
- 12:47Speaker 4: a big bag of chips, of course it's going around
- 12:49Speaker 4: the team. Jase, there's a one person only chip back.
- 12:53Speaker 3: Well, I remember getting stealing a packet of those about
- 12:56Speaker 3: a week ago, and you two fisted the barsket I mean,
- 12:59Speaker 3: come on, fellow, and need to absultant to the wound.
- 13:03Speaker 3: Oh pudsa and opens up a box of seaweed. It
- 13:07Speaker 3: goes and what some of this? Jason? I'm like, yeah, no,
- 13:10Speaker 3: thanks tofu boy.
- 13:11Speaker 6: That's racist.
- 13:13Speaker 4: Come on, man, it's beautiful Korean seaweed that I got
- 13:15Speaker 4: from the supermarket around the corner from my house is delicious.
- 13:18Speaker 6: Basically no calories in there.
- 13:20Speaker 3: Now.
- 13:20Speaker 6: You have been stealing chips for a long time, Jos, not.
- 13:24Speaker 4: Only the big bags but also the small bags, and
- 13:26Speaker 4: you do not share them, You do not offer them.
- 13:29Speaker 7: What once?
- 13:30Speaker 3: What a disgraceful thing to say, Pugs. How many times
- 13:37Speaker 3: have we sat in the student and you've gone, ja,
- 13:41Speaker 3: especially Mogi, why are you going to steal us some chips? Man?
- 13:46Speaker 3: And I go, come on, feelings, I'm getting so much
- 13:49Speaker 3: heat for this. And not only do I do that,
- 13:52Speaker 3: you then filmed me doing that and put it on
- 13:54Speaker 3: social media.
- 13:57Speaker 5: There's heaps out there, Jose, you can help yourself.
- 13:59Speaker 3: Yeah, true, yeah, all right, I'm going to and I'm
- 14:01Speaker 3: gonna get my own little individual packet and I'm not
- 14:03Speaker 3: sharing with any of you bastards.
- 14:05Speaker 6: Just on that note, does it bug you?
- 14:07Speaker 3: Yes, yes, I'm bugging.
- 14:13Speaker 1: The Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodis.
- 14:17Speaker 3: He's there on the Radio Honarchy Big Show this Wednesday afternoon.
- 14:21Speaker 3: The time is four forty seven. Let's talk TV. What's
- 14:25Speaker 3: on the Telly with Mike Minogue. Yes, yeah, yeah.
- 14:33Speaker 5: Last night I watched a little bit more of Alan
- 14:35Speaker 5: Partridge's new TV series There and Yeah, enjoying that. Only
- 14:40Speaker 5: got halfway through an episode, was mostly just chatting to
- 14:42Speaker 5: the missus, which isn't really what's on the Telly?
- 14:44Speaker 4: Is it? No?
- 14:45Speaker 5: No, So I want to chat a bit, a bit
- 14:49Speaker 5: of this and a bit of that, to be honest,
- 14:51Speaker 5: Nothing immediately leaps out, although we did talk about something
- 14:54Speaker 5: in the podcast, didn't we But it's just escaping me.
- 14:57Speaker 5: It's escaping me.
- 14:59Speaker 3: Yeah, a fellas, I'm continuing to watch DTF Saint Louis
- 15:09Speaker 3: and if you don't know what that is. It's a
- 15:11Speaker 3: seven part series about a love triangle between three adults
- 15:14Speaker 3: experiencing middle aged malaise, which leads to one of them
- 15:18Speaker 3: ending up dead. Two detectives investigate and learn the crime
- 15:23Speaker 3: is connected to a dating app called DTF Saint Louis,
- 15:27Speaker 3: which enables married couples to have affairs. It's sexy stuff, fellas.
- 15:38Speaker 6: That's one with Jason Bateman, Yes, and David K.
- 15:41Speaker 5: Harbor.
- 15:41Speaker 3: Yes. Yeah, it's very very good, and I'm learning things
- 15:48Speaker 3: like porno positive.
- 15:51Speaker 5: Oh yeah, the detective's porno marriage. I've never heard of
- 15:55Speaker 5: that phrase before. What it means that you they use
- 15:59Speaker 5: porn free in their relationship?
- 16:01Speaker 3: Yes, oh, they use it, Yes, and they're all g
- 16:04Speaker 3: with it. You know, there's no shame and stuff like
- 16:07Speaker 3: you feel when you're in the studio. B there and
- 16:10Speaker 3: everyone's gone home and you've turned the lights off. There,
- 16:13Speaker 3: Puck and I watch porn. Yeah, yeah, it is terrible.
- 16:18Speaker 3: You can at least close the blind because I've walked
- 16:20Speaker 3: past and by.
- 16:21Speaker 5: God, now I started watching it. Of what I've got
- 16:24Speaker 5: one episode into it, and what's really good about it
- 16:27Speaker 5: is it starts off and you think it's going to
- 16:28Speaker 5: be one thing and by the end of the episode,
- 16:30Speaker 5: it's quite clear that it's it's a lot more than
- 16:32Speaker 5: the sum of its part. Yes, you think it's going
- 16:35Speaker 5: to be a pretty but you know, especially the title. Actually,
- 16:37Speaker 5: I don't think the title does it any favor.
- 16:39Speaker 3: I agree with that.
- 16:40Speaker 5: It's a bloody good drama, really well written, and I
- 16:44Speaker 5: think it seems to me like it will reveal itself
- 16:47Speaker 5: over the course of and whatever you think is happening
- 16:49Speaker 5: is probably not happening.
- 16:50Speaker 3: Yes, And I'm just a huge Jason Bateman fan.
- 16:56Speaker 4: It's quite similar in a lot of stuff. I find
- 16:58Speaker 4: he is my samesolutely.
- 17:01Speaker 5: Completely he is. He is not somebody that changes. He
- 17:05Speaker 5: is just himself. Al Pacino is the same now and
- 17:07Speaker 5: Denero and all of those guys. But they're likable.
- 17:11Speaker 6: And what do you watch that on? Jos how many busies?
- 17:16Speaker 3: Look? I'm going to give it four point two buses.
- 17:19Speaker 3: It's pretty good, as you know, fel.
- 17:21Speaker 6: Really good stuff.

- 17:42Speaker 3: I consider you an intelligent, nice guy. But why are
- 17:47Speaker 3: you watch crap like that is beyond me?
- 17:51Speaker 5: They call it chewing gum for the eyes pegs, where
- 17:53Speaker 5: it keeps you occupied. You're sitting there, you are watching something,
- 17:56Speaker 5: but it's got no it's got no mirit, it's got
- 17:58Speaker 5: no value. It's got no nutrition for your mind, no soul.
- 18:02Speaker 5: That seaweed you try to give me.
- 18:05Speaker 3: Yummy, it's got nothing to it.
- 18:07Speaker 6: It's delicious though. We liked it.
- 18:09Speaker 4: We we like the psycho analysis of it all. We
- 18:11Speaker 4: like to break down whether you know, how much we
- 18:13Speaker 4: think people are being by the producers, what's that encouraged
- 18:20Speaker 4: by the producers to do certain things? And then therefore
- 18:23Speaker 4: how much of their actions or the things that they
- 18:25Speaker 4: say they are responsible for.
- 18:27Speaker 5: You know what I mean. He likes the psycho analysis.
- 18:30Speaker 5: Oh yeah, yeah, married at first sight.
- 18:33Speaker 3: Saying read pent House for you know the articles.

- 19:17Speaker 5: to watch the last eight minutes. Yes, so I got
- 19:19Speaker 5: to see a couple of tries. It was a bit
- 19:20Speaker 5: of a treat. You watched it, did you?
- 19:21Speaker 3: Yeah? A little bit of it. It was great stuff. Man,
- 19:24Speaker 3: it was a great thin. It was was gubby you know, Okay,
- 19:30Speaker 3: Keysy watch it. Yeah, that's great stuff. Now listen, coming
- 19:36Speaker 3: up after five o'clock, there's something I've noticed in the

- 19:44Speaker 3: you fellas about. Also, we're going on the Trans Alpine
- 19:48Speaker 3: on Friday, so we're going to be talking to someone

- 20:01Speaker 1: The whole aching Big Show with Jason Mike and Kezy

- 20:20Speaker 5: Heaven is Shoka, heathern Toledos.
- 20:28Speaker 3: Six sex Busies.
- 20:30Speaker 5: I reckon it's gone up.
- 20:31Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll give it to sex busies. I don't mind.
- 20:33Speaker 3: It is not quite right. No, hey, fellas, for those
- 20:37Speaker 3: of you that are just joining us, by the way,
- 20:38Speaker 3: no Keysy today. Are we confident he's going to be
- 20:41Speaker 3: back on board tomorrow?
- 20:42Speaker 5: He's such a sickly fella. Yes, so, I don't know.
- 20:46Speaker 5: I don't know if he's going to be the kind
- 20:48Speaker 5: of guy that's sick one day and then his brand
- 20:50Speaker 5: new the next day. That doesn't seem like Kesy to.
- 20:52Speaker 6: Me, fellas.
- 20:53Speaker 4: I hate to play a Keysy advocate here, but it's
- 20:57Speaker 4: probably important to note this is apparently.
- 20:58Speaker 6: What his first show, sick day.
- 21:02Speaker 5: Yeah, according to who though to him?
- 21:05Speaker 3: Yeah, ah okay. I've actually gone back through his records
- 21:10Speaker 3: over the years there Park Sand It says eighteenth. Oh
- 21:12Speaker 3: what was then on your computer? Yeah, it was just
- 21:14Speaker 3: on my computer and yeah, I just loved it and
- 21:17Speaker 3: check it out away. But hopefully you will be back
- 21:19Speaker 3: tomorrow because we are doing the live showdown in christ Church.
- 21:22Speaker 3: We need old Keizy. We do. Even though you do
- 21:24Speaker 3: a great job.
- 21:26Speaker 4: You don't do at no, no, no, I wouldn't dream
- 21:30Speaker 4: of taken this place critic bar Richmond Club.
- 21:33Speaker 3: Yeah, nice stuff. Hey, coming up, I want to get
- 21:35Speaker 3: your opinion on something, Fellas. But in the meantime, his
- 21:39Speaker 3: white Stripes.
- 21:41Speaker 1: The Hillarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kezy tune in.
- 21:45Speaker 3: Four on Radio ho Lucky Tool. There on the Radio
- 21:48Speaker 3: Hodarchy Big Show this Wednesday afternoon. The time is fourteen
- 21:53Speaker 3: minutes past five o'clock. Now, Fellas, I don't know if
- 21:56Speaker 3: you know this, but I've moved into the city.
- 21:59Speaker 6: City limits big city hoyt is it?
- 22:02Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 22:03Speaker 3: Man?
- 22:03Speaker 5: Cool?
- 22:04Speaker 3: Are you going to do this thing or what things there?
- 22:07Speaker 3: You don't worry about it. And genuinely, one of the
- 22:10Speaker 3: reasons that I moved into the city is because I
- 22:12Speaker 3: wanted to stay connected to people. Fellas.
- 22:14Speaker 5: H Well, you mean when you say stay you mean
- 22:17Speaker 5: starting connected.
- 22:18Speaker 3: I wanted to start connecting with people. Yeah, you know
- 22:21Speaker 3: what I mean, because I found out West. Yeah, I
- 22:23Speaker 3: kind of disconnected a little bit. And one of the
- 22:26Speaker 3: great things I love about being in the city is
- 22:28Speaker 3: all the different sort of fashions, all the different ethnicities,
- 22:32Speaker 3: all the different kinds of people. Like I've met some
- 22:35Speaker 3: of the local characters. Oh yes, Like there's the cowboy
- 22:39Speaker 3: who you probably know, moy He stands outside sky said
- 22:43Speaker 3: he wears a cowboy and he likes to abuse a
- 22:46Speaker 3: living crap out of people.
- 22:48Speaker 5: The guy that I met was somebody. The guy that
- 22:51Speaker 5: through the pie that exploded off my chest, That was
- 22:54Speaker 5: a different guy.
- 22:55Speaker 3: Yes, well, the cowboys seems to have taken a real
- 22:57Speaker 3: ponchant for Hoody J by the way, Like he doesn't
- 23:00Speaker 3: know who I am, but whenever he sees me, he
- 23:03Speaker 3: makes a beeline so he can specifically abuse me, which
- 23:07Speaker 3: I always find a tremendous treat.
- 23:09Speaker 5: What sort of STATSI going for, I really can't tell you.
- 23:13Speaker 3: On live radio, there's Johnny Preyer, who I've told you about,
- 23:17Speaker 3: who twice now excuse me, has said a prayer for
- 23:21Speaker 3: me while holding my cheek.
- 23:23Speaker 5: I love that you're letting him do that.
- 23:24Speaker 3: Yes, well, it's just one of those weird things where
- 23:28Speaker 3: he's so genuine and nice. It seems that he puts
- 23:34Speaker 3: his hand on my cheek, on my face, not my
- 23:37Speaker 3: ass cheek. Pugs you're filthy bastard.
- 23:39Speaker 5: You're a shocking bastard.
- 23:40Speaker 3: And this is a prayer for me and my family.
- 23:42Speaker 5: I've noticed since he started doing that, you've been getting sick.
- 23:46Speaker 3: Yes, there's the seamen. Sorry you will the Seaman. I
- 23:51Speaker 3: won't get into him too much, suffice to say he
- 23:54Speaker 3: sits in the same corner down by a tea square
- 23:57Speaker 3: and every time he walk past him, he shouts something
- 24:00Speaker 3: out at you.
- 24:00Speaker 5: Once again, you said he was all over.
- 24:04Speaker 3: He loves me, he loves and he does grab my
- 24:07Speaker 3: ass cheek. But one of the other things I love.
- 24:10Speaker 3: There's all the different fashions out there, but there's one
- 24:14Speaker 3: fashion travesty that I wanted to get your view on
- 24:18Speaker 3: very quickly, and that is something that I think is
- 24:21Speaker 3: the There's only one thing worse than this that I
- 24:24Speaker 3: can think of, and that's Pugsan's tasseled bright boat shoes.
- 24:31Speaker 5: Oh yeah, yeah, bright they're black. Yeah yeah, they're bright black.
- 24:35Speaker 3: Yeah. And those other plastic shoes you've got, which you're
- 24:40Speaker 3: weird what? But it's it's always when I'm sort of
- 24:43Speaker 3: down by the water, and I think it might have
- 24:45Speaker 3: to do with, you know, the tourist boats coming in Okay,
- 24:49Speaker 3: And the travesty to me is a man and a woman,
- 24:52Speaker 3: usually older sort of Mogi's age, maybe another ten years
- 24:55Speaker 3: old from there, who dress and matching outfits. Right now,
- 25:00Speaker 3: I want it on the record, and I want you
- 25:02Speaker 3: guys to hear this. If my wife and I ever
- 25:06Speaker 3: reach the point where we're wearing matching outfits, it's time
- 25:11Speaker 3: to take hardy j out to the back paddock.
- 25:13Speaker 5: Now.
- 25:14Speaker 6: It doesn't matter what it is. It's if a couple
- 25:16Speaker 6: is matching.
- 25:17Speaker 3: If they're matching, I don't believe there is a greater
- 25:20Speaker 3: fashion travesty than matching outfits. How do you feelows feel
- 25:24Speaker 3: about it? Yeah?
- 25:25Speaker 5: I mean it can be cute, but they have to
- 25:28Speaker 5: be really old. I'm talking nineties. If they're in the
- 25:31Speaker 5: same sort of tracksuit or something like that, and they're
- 25:34Speaker 5: really really ancient, yes, and knocking on deer stoor. I
- 25:38Speaker 5: don't mind that. It's when they're sort of younger than
- 25:41Speaker 5: that and they should know better.
- 25:43Speaker 3: And their sixties kind of.
- 25:45Speaker 5: I'm not into it. I'll be honest.
- 25:46Speaker 4: Yes, I think if they're swagged out and they're matching,
- 25:49Speaker 4: it doesn't matter, man, especially if they've got bright black.
- 25:51Speaker 6: Loafers with tassels flatting around.
- 25:56Speaker 3: Because you bring up another good point is another thing
- 25:58Speaker 3: that defends me fashion wise is the one sort of
- 26:01Speaker 3: piece track suit. And I'm not talking cool Eddie Dass
- 26:05Speaker 3: sort of hip tracksuit with bling and stuff. I'm talking
- 26:10Speaker 3: like a move Yeah, a green tracksuit top and matching pants. No,
- 26:15Speaker 3: if I ever get to that stage, take me out
- 26:18Speaker 3: to the back pad. It can be done with it.
- 26:19Speaker 5: I like that your reference for a cool tracksuit is
- 26:22Speaker 5: an Eddie desk one with lots of bling, which is
- 26:24Speaker 5: Rundy and c in the nineteen eighties.
- 26:29Speaker 3: You want to hear some of their other people's on
- 26:32Speaker 3: three four eight three. Yeah, I don't think there's anything
- 26:35Speaker 3: worse fashion wise than that, but let us know if
- 26:37Speaker 3: you think there is. On three four eight three, we.
- 26:39Speaker 4: Got Toledo's cash to give away. There is real cash
- 26:42Speaker 4: from our mates. It Toledo's every text goes in the drawer,
- 26:44Speaker 4: so text us your fashion gripes.
- 26:46Speaker 3: In the meantime, he's smashing pumpkins.
- 26:49Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hdarky.
- 26:53Speaker 3: Red Chili Peppers. Here on the Radio Honarchy Big Show
- 27:00Speaker 3: this Wednesday afternoon. The time is five to twenty seven.
- 27:03Speaker 3: We're talking fashion nightmares. And I was talking about the
- 27:07Speaker 3: fact that I've spended a lot of time in town
- 27:09Speaker 3: these days, and I get to see all the fashions fellas. Yeah,
- 27:13Speaker 3: all the different types of fashions, And for me, the
- 27:16Speaker 3: greatest faux pas fashion wise is elderly couples dressing up
- 27:22Speaker 3: on the same outfits generally tracksuits, ye, and pugsan's shiny
- 27:28Speaker 3: boat shoes, bright.
- 27:29Speaker 6: Black boat shoes. You were saying, So you've just said
- 27:31Speaker 6: elderly couples. So it's only the old couples you've got
- 27:34Speaker 6: a problem with.
- 27:35Speaker 3: Well, actually that's not fair, but a teams. I've never
- 27:37Speaker 3: seen a young couple do that, you know what I mean.
- 27:41Speaker 3: It's usually sixties mid sixties kind of age group generally.
- 27:47Speaker 3: You know, they've let themselves go a little bit physically,
- 27:53Speaker 3: a little bit on the you know what I'm saying.
- 27:55Speaker 4: Ye, yeah, we asked for some of your fashion gripes
- 27:58Speaker 4: are the worst thing that you've seen if you've seen
- 27:59Speaker 4: anything worse on three for three every text in the
- 28:01Speaker 4: drawer for fifty bucks thanks to her good pals at Toledos.
- 28:05Speaker 6: First off, the rankit a man buns.
- 28:08Speaker 4: Now, I had one of those, and the good year
- 28:11Speaker 4: of two thousand and fourteen, I want to say, yes,
- 28:15Speaker 4: so good twelve years ago a round one of those.
- 28:17Speaker 5: They were all the rage, weren't they? They really were
- 28:19Speaker 5: were all the rage.
- 28:21Speaker 3: Oh no, what I just remembered. I had a man
- 28:26Speaker 3: bun for a little while and at one point I
- 28:27Speaker 3: had a chopstick in it.
- 28:29Speaker 6: Oh, someone find that photo.
- 28:34Speaker 3: We've also got that that's true.
- 28:36Speaker 4: Wow, We've got one here that says Crocs. You're a
- 28:39Speaker 4: big Crocs fan.
- 28:41Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 28:41Speaker 3: What Look, I have to because of my dodgy ankles.
- 28:44Speaker 3: I need the extra support of Crocs. But the ones
- 28:46Speaker 3: you bought a shockers.
- 28:47Speaker 6: Those aren't Crocs. That'll be white.
- 28:49Speaker 3: Oh right, okay.
- 28:50Speaker 5: Nevertheless, Yes, someone.
- 28:52Speaker 4: Here's got an issue with shorts so short on a
- 28:55Speaker 4: man that there are sak is nearly on it short
- 28:58Speaker 4: ider that.
- 28:58Speaker 5: Yeah, as long as it got underper she's all good.
- 29:01Speaker 3: Yeah. Or you've got the sort of netting so it's
- 29:04Speaker 3: like a pork roast.
- 29:05Speaker 5: They don't do that as much anymore, do They very
- 29:08Speaker 5: big when we're growing up, body job, you don't see
- 29:10Speaker 5: the netting so much for the balls.
- 29:13Speaker 4: Someone heres his loose baggy pants, the drag along the ground,
- 29:16Speaker 4: and people generally not wearing the clothes that fit them.
- 29:18Speaker 5: Is that, Yeah, there is that, but that's coming back in.
- 29:22Speaker 5: That was really actually, that was really big for quite
- 29:24Speaker 5: a while. You know, people wearing cumongous jews.
- 29:28Speaker 6: Is jinko jeans.
- 29:30Speaker 5: Yeah, I just I prefer to see the shape of
- 29:32Speaker 5: a human, I'll be honest with you. That's just me.
- 29:34Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I agree with you. There was that thing
- 29:36Speaker 3: for a long time where the pants didn't fit and
- 29:38Speaker 3: they're always falling down on the you know, the silk
- 29:41Speaker 3: boxer shorts that was very popular for me.
- 29:46Speaker 4: A personal one is jeans that are so skinny they
- 29:48Speaker 4: have to be like elastic, you know, like you know what,
- 29:52Speaker 4: Like I'm not going to compete every pair of skinny jeans,
- 29:55Speaker 4: particularly with the company in this room, but ones that
- 29:57Speaker 4: are so tight that there are elastic, they're like jigging's
- 30:01Speaker 4: almost well.
- 30:02Speaker 3: I have to wear those now because my leg muscles
- 30:05Speaker 3: are getting so massive from all my walking I need
- 30:08Speaker 3: the you know, the the room to move.
- 30:10Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, true, I'm just on there old guys walking
- 30:13Speaker 4: around the inner city with shirts with sailing boats on them.
- 30:19Speaker 5: Also, nothing worse than Houghty Jay's sneams at peg sounds studious.
- 30:23Speaker 6: Hicky big Sean ininster. If you want to see a
- 30:25Speaker 6: photo of hoy j what's what a sneemze sneakers and jeans?
- 30:29Speaker 4: Man?
- 30:30Speaker 3: Ah right, okay? Is that a bad look?
- 30:32Speaker 4: Is it?
- 30:33Speaker 3: Fellas?
- 30:36Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy tune
- 30:39Speaker 1: in four on radio?
- 30:42Speaker 3: Is indeed faith no more? There on the radio, Honarcky
- 30:45Speaker 3: Big Show, this Moist Wednesday evening. Now fell us on Friday,
- 30:51Speaker 3: We're going on a Chew Chew train, aren't we? Mokey? You'
- 30:54Speaker 3: super excited? Man?
- 30:56Speaker 5: What's the official name for it? I am actually really
- 30:58Speaker 5: excited because the beauty of these trains's jiz bot is
- 31:02Speaker 5: that you get to see a part of the country
- 31:04Speaker 5: that the otherwise wouldn't true, That train lines go places
- 31:07Speaker 5: where roads for cars do not. So I really am,
- 31:10Speaker 5: And it's five hours we're going to see some sight.
- 31:12Speaker 3: Yeah, it's going to be good. Mate. With that in mind,
- 31:15Speaker 3: We've got someone from trans Alpine on the line. He's
- 31:18Speaker 3: the locomotive engineer, Sam Sharp, your massive backbone house life.
- 31:24Speaker 3: You going yeah, good, thanks mate.
- 31:26Speaker 5: I've got a bit of a question for you there. Sam.
- 31:28Speaker 5: Is locomotive engineer just a fancy name for a train driver.
- 31:31Speaker 7: Yeah, that that's exactly right, Yeah right mate, Sam?
- 31:36Speaker 3: How long does it take to qualify as a locomotive engineer?
- 31:40Speaker 7: Took me about eighteen months, so I've been doing it
- 31:44Speaker 7: for just over five years now.
- 31:47Speaker 3: Is that right?
- 31:47Speaker 5: Eighteen months? Is it because you're not very bright or no,
- 31:51Speaker 5: I'm just checking in because you see that it took you.
- 31:53Speaker 5: So is that standard or is it normally shorter or longer?
- 31:57Speaker 7: Yeah, that's probably about standard. So you have to do
- 32:00Speaker 7: eleven one hundred hours in the cab with the certified
- 32:05Speaker 7: driver and he's about sort of three to three to
- 32:08Speaker 7: four months worth a book week before that.
- 32:10Speaker 6: Eleven hundred hours.
- 32:12Speaker 3: That's insanity, Yeah.
- 32:14Speaker 7: It's quite it's quite a lot. But we out of
- 32:16Speaker 7: christ which we go three different ways, so we go
- 32:18Speaker 7: up north, south and west towards Passed, so there is
- 32:23Speaker 7: quite a bit of track that we have to learn.
- 32:25Speaker 5: Oh, pugs go three ways as well, don't you pugs. Yeah,
- 32:28Speaker 5: every time.
- 32:29Speaker 3: Hey are Sam Keys isn't with us today, but hopefully
- 32:33Speaker 3: he will be on Friday. He wants to go in
- 32:36Speaker 3: the Kabooz. Have you got a caboose?
- 32:39Speaker 7: Well, at the back of the train there is a
- 32:41Speaker 7: luggage van, so you can probably call that the kabooz
- 32:44Speaker 7: right there.
- 32:46Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, nice.
- 32:47Speaker 5: That's pretty interesting. The fact that you're doing eleven hundred
- 32:49Speaker 5: hours to get your license when to be a commercial
- 32:51Speaker 5: pilot license you only need two hundred.
- 32:54Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm not really quite sure how that works out.
- 32:57Speaker 5: Unbelievable. I'm shocked by that. That's some interesting stuff.
- 33:00Speaker 3: Very much. So Sam, give us, you know, tell us
- 33:04Speaker 3: what we can expect on this journey. Looking very much
- 33:06Speaker 3: forward to it. I actually think I've done it before
- 33:09Speaker 3: and it was beautiful. But what can the fellows expect?
- 33:13Speaker 7: Well, I mean, at showcases, the South Island's landscape pretty awesomely.
- 33:19Speaker 7: So you start off along the Kennedy Planes and you
- 33:22Speaker 7: get into the wy Met Gorge where the train will
- 33:26Speaker 7: navigate its way through. I think it's sixteen tunnels, a

- 45:30Speaker 5: a gem?
- 45:31Speaker 3: Was it cracker?
- 45:32Speaker 5: It was a cracker?

- 46:23Speaker 5: a few you have, Actually this one was a real
- 46:27Speaker 5: gut wrencher. I take my kid to school, I walk
- 46:31Speaker 5: over there, and then I ride my bicycle into work.
- 46:35Speaker 5: And today it was fair person down, so I put
- 46:38Speaker 5: my gym gears on for the bike ride, and then
- 46:41Speaker 5: I thought I can get dry when I.
- 46:43Speaker 6: Got to the office. You see, so you're going to
- 46:45Speaker 6: ride your bike, that's right. The adventures are fush biked.
- 46:51Speaker 3: Oh is that a new one?
- 46:52Speaker 5: Now, I've had that for ages.
- 46:53Speaker 3: Yeah, right, okay.
- 46:55Speaker 5: And I packed my little bag there. It's just there
- 47:00Speaker 5: with all my little things and in my pocket, I
- 47:03Speaker 5: put my watch, my Ponamu, and there's something in my
- 47:08Speaker 5: earpod thingies put those in their And then I was
- 47:12Speaker 5: sitting at home and I was getting my shoes on
- 47:14Speaker 5: and old bushit Chris, our cat. He she absolutely loves
- 47:21Speaker 5: going outside, and if she's not outside, she's sitting on
- 47:23Speaker 5: top of one of the chairs, just meowing her ass off. Yes,
- 47:26Speaker 5: just absolutely given it death. So I jumped out to
- 47:30Speaker 5: let the cat out, and out of my pocket flew
- 47:34Speaker 5: my EarPods, my watch, and my Ponamu and it flew
- 47:39Speaker 5: across the room and landed on the hearth of the fireplace.
- 47:44Speaker 5: It's a big concrete block and my shattered. I got
- 47:51Speaker 5: given that one by my wife and daughter. To be fair,
- 47:53Speaker 5: my daughter had very little to do with it, Yes,
- 47:56Speaker 5: but it means a lot to me there and it's
- 47:58Speaker 5: busted up, and I'm wondering what I can actually do
- 48:00Speaker 5: about it. Am I cursed?
- 48:01Speaker 3: Yeah, well I did wonder about that when you were
- 48:03Speaker 3: talking about it in the chat today. I thought, is
- 48:05Speaker 3: that a terrible curse that's now going to befall you?
- 48:08Speaker 5: I don't know. I do feel like I'm getting sick,
- 48:11Speaker 5: actually it does. I think I've got a case of
- 48:14Speaker 5: the keys's.
- 48:18Speaker 3: Yes, I have one with it.
- 48:20Speaker 5: Well, yeah, and so I don't know what the gats is,
- 48:23Speaker 5: but I quite love to get it repaired. But I'm
- 48:25Speaker 5: not also not sure whether whether that's the done thing.
- 48:29Speaker 3: Right, you know, have you got all the pieces? Obviously
- 48:32Speaker 3: there's three.
- 48:33Speaker 5: Pieces, which isn't too bad. Shedded was probably too strong
- 48:36Speaker 5: a word broke would be more accurate, but I definitely
- 48:39Speaker 5: want to get it fixed. So look, if there's anybody
- 48:42Speaker 5: out there that knows how to fix ponam, give us
- 48:46Speaker 5: a shout. Well, we'll do sort of four or five
- 48:48Speaker 5: breaks around you and your business and the kind of
- 48:51Speaker 5: work you do, and just really talk you and your
- 48:54Speaker 5: business up. We'll give you links to link and baio
