Latest / Foul Territory / Pete Fairbanks scouts Yankees-Blue Jays, ABS Challenges, O’s kiss
Transcript
- 0:04Speaker 1: It's Friday, so we're always a little looser on a Friday.
- 0:06Speaker 1: Perfect time to bring on our guy, Pete Fairbanks first
- 0:10Speaker 1: off and graft another season. You get through, Pete, and
- 0:12Speaker 1: great to have you on. But I'm actually gonna throw
- 0:14Speaker 1: a curveball at you right from the start here. I
- 0:16Speaker 1: don't know if you have any plans to be a
- 0:20Speaker 1: baseball personality or broadcaster in the future, but we're going
- 0:22Speaker 1: to put you to the test right now if you like,
- 0:24Speaker 1: and get your analysis on the postseason so far and
- 0:28Speaker 1: on the Yankees Blue Jays matchup coming up, since you've
- 0:30Speaker 1: seen those teams a few times.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, man, that's usually I would hopefully be able
- 0:36Speaker 2: to do a little more research than you guys put
- 0:38Speaker 2: me on the spot here. I've loved it so far.
- 0:42Speaker 2: I've been you know, I've been back at my parents'
- 0:46Speaker 2: house for a couple of days, getting my off season
- 0:48Speaker 2: all in a row, so I've actually been able to
- 0:49Speaker 2: watch a lot of it. Yeah, it's and we've had
- 0:55Speaker 2: four three game three three game threes, I think, yep,
- 1:00Speaker 2: And you know, none of them, well, I guess kind of.
- 1:04Speaker 2: The Detroit Cleveland was a little high scoring, but you
- 1:07Speaker 2: gotta love you gotta love the three and under ball
- 1:10Speaker 2: games with with how some of the guys have been
- 1:11Speaker 2: throwing the ball, especially old I'm not gonna say his
- 1:13Speaker 2: last name for it, I'll probably accidentally curse. We'll call
- 1:17Speaker 2: them camp for for me not having any any slips.
- 1:21Speaker 2: But that was a fun outing to watch the man
- 1:23Speaker 2: through the baseball with some authority.
- 1:29Speaker 1: You've seen the Yankees a lot, You've seen the Blue
- 1:32Speaker 1: Jays a lot. They're very different teams from what you
- 1:35Speaker 1: remember facing both of them this year. You can go
- 1:39Speaker 1: one by one, whichever one you want first. What would
- 1:41Speaker 1: be your scouting report on what you remember from facing
- 1:45Speaker 1: those two teams or even just playing them? Right, Not
- 1:47Speaker 1: not that you necessarily got through everyone in the lineup,
- 1:49Speaker 1: but what do you think about those two in a
- 1:51Speaker 1: matchup like this coming up?
- 1:54Speaker 2: I liked I liked it. It's a little contrasting, right,
- 1:56Speaker 2: you got a high contact Blue Jay's right, you got
- 1:58Speaker 2: a lot of guys that are that are US contact
- 2:02Speaker 2: and you know New York they're going to hit homers, right,
- 2:05Speaker 2: So I mean, I think if Toronto strings it together
- 2:09Speaker 2: like they're capable of, like they certainly did against us
- 2:12Speaker 2: too in the year, they're They're a formidable ball club.
- 2:15Speaker 2: I'm excited to see, you know, if you can, if
- 2:18Speaker 2: you can keep the Yankees in the yard. I mean,
- 2:20Speaker 2: I think it should be. It should have the sorry,
- 2:22Speaker 2: it has the potential to be a pretty good series.
- 2:24Speaker 2: And as a baseball fan, I'm hoping it's a five gamer,
- 2:27Speaker 2: like I hope for all of them to go the distance.
- 2:31Speaker 3: How tough is that to face a team like the
- 2:33Speaker 3: Blue Jays. We were talking about Cam Schlitzler and how
- 2:36Speaker 3: he was getting a lot of swings and misses from
- 2:38Speaker 3: a team who swings and misses. How tough is that
- 2:42Speaker 3: to say? Let's say you go back to back series,
- 2:43Speaker 3: you go Yankees. You're coming in in the ninth inning
- 2:46Speaker 3: against the Yankees two out of three games. Bang, We're
- 2:48Speaker 3: go on top of the zone, curveball down, they swing
- 2:51Speaker 3: and miss a lot. Now you go and face the
- 2:52Speaker 3: Blue Jays. I know you have to be you, but
- 2:56Speaker 3: they're going to put the ball in play, And to me,
- 2:58Speaker 3: there's more fear of your late life heat at the
- 3:00Speaker 3: top of the zone getting hitted out of the ballpark.
- 3:03Speaker 3: How do you change or do you not change? And
- 3:06Speaker 3: you just hope, you know what, I can still punch
- 3:08Speaker 3: guys out and you have success that way.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Right, I mean I think you always go you always
- 3:14Speaker 2: go strength on strength, right, Like, I'm not gonna necessarily
- 3:17Speaker 2: shy away from what I'm good at. Because the lineup
- 3:20Speaker 2: you know, has guys that are that are higher contact.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Does it affect like where you're going to go? Yes,
- 3:27Speaker 2: But I also think you know, and teams like that
- 3:29Speaker 2: that are high contact gives you the potential for quick outs.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Right if you're you know, you're maintaining your ability to
- 3:36Speaker 2: throw any pitch in any count, right and you know
- 3:39Speaker 2: that they're going to be swinging. Yeah, you run the
- 3:40Speaker 2: risk of you know, getting victimized early. But you also,
- 3:44Speaker 2: you know, have the positive of being able to, you know,
- 3:47Speaker 2: get that second pitch double playball or you know, your
- 3:50Speaker 2: first pitch in field pop up. Whereas you know, the
- 3:53Speaker 2: guys that do you know, the lineups that have more
- 3:55Speaker 2: swing and miss but also have more juice, you know,
- 3:57Speaker 2: you run the risk of eventually leaving something over the
- 3:59Speaker 2: heart as you know, the back progresses. If they're able
- 4:02Speaker 2: to you know, lay off a couple, you get to
- 4:05Speaker 2: two strikes, have a good take against you, et cetera.
- 4:08Speaker 2: You know they present they're obviously different challenges, but they're
- 4:11Speaker 2: also you know, advantages to facing both as a pitcher.
- 4:16Speaker 3: I just said in the last series by Judge that
- 4:19Speaker 3: when you see a closer multiple times within a short span,
- 4:23Speaker 3: it's a lot easier because you're not you're seeing the
- 4:25Speaker 3: same stuff back to back nights or you know, a
- 4:29Speaker 3: night off. And then again, do you see that as
- 4:32Speaker 3: an advantage for teams? And do you think teams think about, hey,
- 4:36Speaker 3: you know what, maybe we don't bring the closer in
- 4:38Speaker 3: in a three run game because he just threw. We
- 4:40Speaker 3: feel like we have a guy that can shut the
- 4:42Speaker 3: door and now of a sudden he's available for back
- 4:48Speaker 3: to backs later on in the series without letting the
- 4:50Speaker 3: hitters see you as a.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Closer, right, I mean, I think you kind of got
- 4:55Speaker 2: to stick to your guns. Right, if you're you're in
- 4:57Speaker 2: the safe situation, right, you're in the leverage ball, you're
- 5:00Speaker 2: gonna throw your guys. That's you know, just how you
- 5:03Speaker 2: know what the game is progressed to. I mean, obviously,
- 5:06Speaker 2: you know, in a seven gamer you might not be
- 5:08Speaker 2: throwing the three in a row potentially, but given that
- 5:11Speaker 2: we have a much different like it's the two three
- 5:14Speaker 2: two right, you you can throw every game once you
- 5:16Speaker 2: get to it. But yeah, I mean it's that's why
- 5:20Speaker 2: we started taking starters out early, right, is the more
- 5:23Speaker 2: you see somebody, the more familiar you're familiar you are,
- 5:26Speaker 2: the better off you're gonna be at kind of seeing
- 5:29Speaker 2: what the scouting report doesn't tell you, right, if you
- 5:32Speaker 2: you know, you got a guy that's you know, let's say,
- 5:36Speaker 2: got a little extra run but doesn't sink as much
- 5:38Speaker 2: that first time. You know, seeing it on paper versus
- 5:41Speaker 2: seeing it in the box is probably two different things.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Obviously not a hitter, but that's my best guess. So
- 5:46Speaker 2: the more that you see okay, well this guy it's
- 5:49Speaker 2: a sinker, right, but it runs more than it does sink,
- 5:52Speaker 2: you're able to then adjust to that quicker, you know,
- 5:54Speaker 2: as you're seeing him either in batch back days or
- 5:57Speaker 2: you know, throughout the course of a start against a lineup.
- 6:02Speaker 4: I want to talk a little about relievers coming in,
- 6:05Speaker 4: closers coming in as you know you're a closer, like
- 6:07Speaker 4: was it is it kind of refreshing to see a
- 6:09Speaker 4: guy go eight innings and you know, maybe give you
- 6:12Speaker 4: guys a little leeway of understanding.
- 6:14Speaker 2: You know you're gonna if you.
- 6:15Speaker 4: Were on that team, you would be the guy known
- 6:17Speaker 4: all right, well, I know him coming in the ninth.
- 6:19Speaker 4: It kind of gives me a breath of fresh air
- 6:21Speaker 4: a little bit. This is like an anomaly right now.
- 6:23Speaker 4: Eight innings for a starter. I thought that was pretty incredible.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Uh, I loved it. I saw I hadn't been watching that.
- 6:30Speaker 2: I was watching the Thursday night football game last night.
- 6:32Speaker 2: I saw that. I think Schlitler was at one hundred
- 6:35Speaker 2: after seven and you know, shout out to to letting
- 6:40Speaker 2: them go back out there for the eighth. I loved it.
- 6:42Speaker 2: I think, you know, obviously that's the time to do it, right,
- 6:44Speaker 2: if you got a guy that's shoving like he was,
- 6:48Speaker 2: I think what he had five hits, no walks over eight.
- 6:50Speaker 2: I mean, that's that's pretty good. I think you you know,
- 6:53Speaker 2: you run the guy out there, you know, like they
- 6:55Speaker 2: did with Crochet in the first like you do with
- 6:57Speaker 2: the Scubol type in the in the Tiger's Guard series.
- 7:01Speaker 2: So you know, I think if you're able, if you're
- 7:03Speaker 2: gonna let your guy ride and let him ride and
- 7:05Speaker 2: he does this thing, it definitely makes it, you know,
- 7:08Speaker 2: easier on the back end where you're like all right, Well,
- 7:10Speaker 2: there's no mixing to match and we're going one pitch
- 7:12Speaker 2: and change and we're taking it home. No doubt. We
- 7:16Speaker 2: were talking a lot.
- 7:17Speaker 4: I asked this question to Rob Freeman about the ABS system.
- 7:22Speaker 4: H what are your what are your thoughts on it?
- 7:24Speaker 4: Do you think this is going to be pretty good?
- 7:26Speaker 4: Are you big on robo wumps? Talk a little about
- 7:29Speaker 4: you know, you don't have to dive deep into it,
- 7:30Speaker 4: but are you excited about this next year?
- 7:35Speaker 2: I think it'll I think some we have some hitters
- 7:38Speaker 2: that are pretty excited just talking to guys in the clubhouse.
- 7:41Speaker 2: I mean, I think hopefully it acts like it's supposed
- 7:43Speaker 2: to write where you lose the calls that are a
- 7:47Speaker 2: ball off, right, if you got something that you know
- 7:50Speaker 2: early in the game you only got two of them,
- 7:52Speaker 2: you don't want to burn one, you know. I don't
- 7:54Speaker 2: think they're going to be as aggressive around the edges,
- 7:56Speaker 2: But I think the bad misses in which you know,
- 7:59Speaker 2: you get the weird thing to you know, stifle to
- 8:02Speaker 2: sneeze when he's trying to call a pitch and blanks
- 8:05Speaker 2: on one, or you know, Catcher's moving as he's trying
- 8:08Speaker 2: to throw somebody out. You know, I think we're gonna
- 8:10Speaker 2: get be able to get those back either way, and
- 8:12Speaker 2: I think that'll be a pretty big positive. But you know,
- 8:15Speaker 2: I think along the edges at least early, I don't
- 8:18Speaker 2: think it's going to be super different because I don't
- 8:21Speaker 2: think people are going to want to mess with you know,
- 8:25Speaker 2: it's my you know, my eight hole. Maybe not the
- 8:30Speaker 2: best decision maker doesn't like to call. I don't think that,
- 8:33Speaker 2: you know, as a unit, right as a team, they're
- 8:35Speaker 2: going to want to burn that challenge early. So I mean,
- 8:38Speaker 2: maybe it maybe maybe they do. Maybe everybody's got some
- 8:41Speaker 2: leeway to try and figure out, you know, who our best,
- 8:44Speaker 2: our best zone disciplined guys are. But I think hopefully
- 8:48Speaker 2: it takes away the misses over the plate and way off.
- 8:53Speaker 3: Are you going to do this one time next year?
- 8:56Speaker 3: Do you have the visual and the ability as a pitcher.
- 9:02Speaker 2: I wanted to real bad this year on one because
- 9:04Speaker 2: it ended up costing me. It ended up costing me
- 9:06Speaker 2: a game. So maybe I don't know, maybe they might,
- 9:12Speaker 2: they might put the handcuffs on me and not let
- 9:14Speaker 2: me do anything too crazy. But I had to get
- 9:18Speaker 2: I had to get some out of the way when
- 9:19Speaker 2: we were playing and I think it was we were
- 9:21Speaker 2: playing in clear Water this spring and I was I
- 9:24Speaker 2: was tapping my head. Actually that game that felt like
- 9:28Speaker 2: it felt like there were probably twenty challenges and they
- 9:31Speaker 2: probably went nineteen for twenty on the player side of it.
- 9:36Speaker 3: So which one do you remember? What I mean, you
- 9:39Speaker 3: obviously remember which one which.
- 9:40Speaker 2: I know exactly, Which I know exactly which one as
- 9:43Speaker 2: a heater two as one of the Guardians lefties. It
- 9:49Speaker 2: was a striking him out, throw him out that got
- 9:50Speaker 2: taken away because he bawled it even though it was
- 9:53Speaker 2: on It was like midside, right on the inside corner
- 9:57Speaker 2: ball first and second instead of two hours.
- 10:01Speaker 3: Oh yeah, and he was out at second to good throw.
- 10:05Speaker 2: And yeah he would great throw from forty He was
- 10:08Speaker 2: out by like four feet.
- 10:10Speaker 3: This is where this is where the abs not. Everyone's like, oh,
- 10:14Speaker 3: it's only one pitch. One pitch doesn't swing a game.
- 10:18Speaker 2: Swung at least at least contributed at least contributed to it. So, yeah,
- 10:23Speaker 2: now that I'm now that I'm free from the season,
- 10:25Speaker 2: I can I don't know who I'm not gonna, I
- 10:27Speaker 2: can't get anything. I'm not going anymore. I just know
- 10:29Speaker 2: that that one was that one rankled me a little bit.
- 10:33Speaker 2: We're past it now, got all my got everything out
- 10:36Speaker 2: in the open. We're past it.
- 10:41Speaker 1: That's great.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Nice.
- 10:42Speaker 4: My question to you talk about stein brunerfield Man, talking about,
- 10:48Speaker 4: you know, home heavy schedule, talk a little about playing there.
- 10:51Speaker 4: Was it all you expected how the Yankees did for you?
- 10:54Speaker 4: It was the clubhouse great, everything was it just was
- 10:57Speaker 4: it was it that bad being you know, not a major.
- 11:01Speaker 2: League for the whole year. Underneath, I mean, I know
- 11:06Speaker 2: they just did a bigger innovation underneath was unbelievable. The
- 11:09Speaker 2: locker room, food, everything super super nice, very weight room.
- 11:14Speaker 2: This is probably the most tired I've ever been after
- 11:16Speaker 2: a season. And I don't want to say that there's
- 11:18Speaker 2: a direct correlation between playing eighty one games outside in
- 11:21Speaker 2: Florida versus playing eighty one games inside in Florida, but
- 11:26Speaker 2: I think just being out there every day in that
- 11:30Speaker 2: it wears on you a little bit.
- 11:34Speaker 3: I would agree, Yeah, yeah, Florida. I'm in Florida right now,
- 11:39Speaker 3: and it's hot, sweating, like sweating like Francisco Servilia a
- 11:43Speaker 3: drug test. But if if we have to go back
- 11:49Speaker 3: to part of the season, if we have to go
- 11:52Speaker 3: back to part of the season. I want to go
- 11:53Speaker 3: back to something that I think you cleared the air
- 11:57Speaker 3: on the whole blowing the kiss. My favorite part of
- 12:01Speaker 3: the comment. The favorite part of the comment was a
- 12:04Speaker 3: Lego loving group over there. I have no disrespect to them.
- 12:08Speaker 3: Can you elaborate and just continue to clear the air,
- 12:11Speaker 3: because not everyway from FT is a Rais or Orioles
- 12:14Speaker 3: fan and saw exactly what happened in the moment when
- 12:17Speaker 3: you were accused of blowing a kiss at the dugout,
- 12:20Speaker 3: but it was at a fan.
- 12:21Speaker 2: It's my favorite. It's my favorite thing about the Internet
- 12:26Speaker 2: is that you can turn it into whatever you want
- 12:28Speaker 2: it to be, regardless of the actual context of any situation. Yeah,
- 12:34Speaker 2: there was some cat that some cat would just kept
- 12:39Speaker 2: on like game's over right, we're shaking hands, just still
- 12:44Speaker 2: blowing me up because I who was it was a
- 12:47Speaker 2: pisalloh Bisallo, their super prospect. I hit him in the hand.
- 12:51Speaker 2: I'm like, fop, Sorry, I cursed right there after talking
- 12:54Speaker 2: about not cursing with Schlitler. But so this guy was
- 13:00Speaker 2: just MF and me after like well after the game,
- 13:04Speaker 2: and I'm like haying it and kept on doing it.
- 13:08Speaker 2: So I blew the kiss and they thankfully there was
- 13:12Speaker 2: no bad blood on either any of the you know,
- 13:15Speaker 2: fifty two or I guess fifty six and that that
- 13:18Speaker 2: were that were out there. But yeah, probably, you know,
- 13:22Speaker 2: I can get a little I can get going in
- 13:24Speaker 2: the heat of the moment a little bit. But yeah,
- 13:27Speaker 2: I was. I thought I thought I came with a
- 13:29Speaker 2: pretty good pr statement afterwards, which was I thought, I
- 13:34Speaker 2: thought the description of said guy that was chirping me
- 13:37Speaker 2: was probably helpful in that dark.
- 13:42Speaker 3: Yes it was, Yes, it was. I forget exactly what
- 13:45Speaker 3: you what the words that were that you said. Was
- 13:48Speaker 3: he wearing a starter jacket? Is that part of the
- 13:50Speaker 3: thing that you had said?
- 13:51Speaker 2: Yeah, he had like one of the old like an
- 13:52Speaker 2: old dugout jackets. So yeah, yeah, I was a big fan. Yeah,
- 13:59Speaker 2: it would have been great if I was a great
- 14:01Speaker 2: suspect reporting on my part, I'd like to pat myself
- 14:04Speaker 2: on the back.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Hey, you got the brand down the whole thing question
- 14:10Speaker 1: for you also about to at the end of the season,
- 14:13Speaker 1: did you unveil a new pitch?
- 14:16Speaker 2: Uh? Yeah, so just decided to start throwing a little
- 14:20Speaker 2: little rifle slider just for fun. I'm I'm good at
- 14:25Speaker 2: getting on the outside of the ball, and you know,
- 14:27Speaker 2: I was able to kind of figure out that happy
- 14:29Speaker 2: medium between the big breaker and the four seam and
- 14:33Speaker 2: felt like it was a good time to break it out.
- 14:38Speaker 1: How does that work when we get to this late
- 14:42Speaker 1: in the season, usually we see this morning spring training?
- 14:44Speaker 1: Can you take me through the evolution at you've been
- 14:46Speaker 1: working on this in the past. Was it something you
- 14:48Speaker 1: work on during the season for pitchers to know, right,
- 14:52Speaker 1: for any aspiring pitcher to know, and also to be like, wow,
- 14:55Speaker 1: maybe I can't do that like a big league or
- 14:57Speaker 1: how did this happen?
- 15:00Speaker 2: Uh? So, I'll whenever i'm throwing my if I don't
- 15:05Speaker 2: get up and warm up, don't go in or I throw,
- 15:07Speaker 2: I won't throw off the mound. And when I'm down
- 15:10Speaker 2: for a little bit, you know, I'll mess around. I'm
- 15:12Speaker 2: not mess around, well, I guess kind of mess around.
- 15:14Speaker 2: I've always like I used to it. It's similar to
- 15:17Speaker 2: the braining ball I used to throw kind of before
- 15:19Speaker 2: I started trying to get more and more depth on it,
- 15:21Speaker 2: try and get you know, that finger to the front.
- 15:24Speaker 2: And so whenever I'm throwing with with snides and Charlie
- 15:29Speaker 2: pre game, I would I'll mess around with you know,
- 15:31Speaker 2: maybe trying to run one little two C match and
- 15:34Speaker 2: you know, I'll try and throw a true cutter. I'll
- 15:37Speaker 2: throw a bigger breaking ball just for me. I think
- 15:40Speaker 2: it's good to figure out how to make the ball
- 15:44Speaker 2: do certain things, even if that's not what you do,
- 15:48Speaker 2: just as a as appropriate option kind of trick for myself.
- 15:50Speaker 2: And eventually was talking to Size. I was like, I'm
- 15:53Speaker 2: gonna throw this rifle slider in game. I think it
- 15:55Speaker 2: will be good. And then yeah, through it it was
- 15:59Speaker 2: I think I was throwing some and then the bullpen
- 16:02Speaker 2: pregame that were like five and four armside for me,
- 16:06Speaker 2: and you know those are that's a kind of where
- 16:08Speaker 2: you want to be if you're throwing a rifle slider
- 16:10Speaker 2: that's somewhere between five and seven off the heater, and
- 16:13Speaker 2: you know, it turns out I can throw it fairly
- 16:17Speaker 2: consistently and decided to run with it.
- 16:20Speaker 3: How many times have you thrown three days in a
- 16:22Speaker 3: row in the season?
- 16:24Speaker 2: I twice, I think not many.
- 16:28Speaker 3: Do you think it's too much expected of these teams
- 16:30Speaker 3: that just went through And you said it earlier, you said, okay,
- 16:32Speaker 3: all these guys everybody can throw day in and day out.
- 16:36Speaker 3: Is it too much to expect a lot of some
- 16:38Speaker 3: of these guys who have already gone three days in
- 16:40Speaker 3: a row on the Tigers, on the Cubs like that,
- 16:44Speaker 3: are not used to it, and you are an All
- 16:47Speaker 3: Star closer who never did it.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Look, I think postseason, everybody's more willing to do stuff
- 16:59Speaker 2: like that. Do I think I think like regular three
- 17:02Speaker 2: in a rows like throughout the regular season probably beat
- 17:06Speaker 2: you down about as much as any workload thing throughout
- 17:10Speaker 2: the year. However, I think if people are saying they're
- 17:16Speaker 2: good and they're willing to do it, and it's you
- 17:18Speaker 2: got stuff that's on the line like you do in
- 17:20Speaker 2: the postseason, I mean that's I think that's part for
- 17:23Speaker 2: the course. I think the Amelia opened down, I think
- 17:25Speaker 2: through four in a row getting the Reds to the postseason.
- 17:29Speaker 2: So you know, I think you're more willing to put
- 17:32Speaker 2: your body through stuff when you see it at the end.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Right if it's if you got to throw a three
- 17:39Speaker 2: in a row to you know, put your boys into
- 17:42Speaker 2: the next round, I think everybody in a bullpen is
- 17:44Speaker 2: going to do that.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Pete last one for you. There's a club option for
- 17:50Speaker 1: twenty twenty six. We might not talk to you for
- 17:54Speaker 1: a little bit because it's the off season. Any thoughts, indications,
- 17:58Speaker 1: conversations yet at the team and is there even if
- 18:01Speaker 1: you don't have that for us, I'm sure there's some
- 18:04Speaker 1: type of deadline right where the team has to let
- 18:06Speaker 1: you know what's going on. And I mean, I think
- 18:09Speaker 1: they'd be silly if they're not taking that. But that's
- 18:11Speaker 1: just me. What what's the deal with your status?
- 18:15Speaker 2: I had actually met with my agent today earlier, went
- 18:18Speaker 2: and got a burger at my favorite Saint Louis dive,
- 18:22Speaker 2: Carls Drive In. It's probably my favorite murder in America,
- 18:26Speaker 2: just putting that out in the world for whenever people
- 18:28Speaker 2: are in Saint Louis. Yeah, we had, we had to talk.
- 18:32Speaker 2: I mean, I think you know, we've still got a
- 18:34Speaker 2: lot of stuff up in the air, right, that's that's
- 18:36Speaker 2: a month of playoffs, plus you got your your five
- 18:39Speaker 2: days afterwards, so we'll see how it also shakes out.
- 18:45Speaker 2: And I guess we'll know if I got to put
- 18:47Speaker 2: my house on the market by the time that's all said.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Perfect, Okay, so we'll get you. We'll get you in
- 18:54Speaker 1: like a month in change or something like that.
- 18:56Speaker 2: And yeah, nomber like November fourth or something like that.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Boom, putting it on the calendar. Done. Todd father wants
- 19:02Speaker 1: to know are you you're in the Saint Louis area now?
- 19:05Speaker 4: No, no, not, I'm just where you look like. Where
- 19:07Speaker 4: are you at right now? Are you in an office
- 19:09Speaker 4: or something with the bathroom?
- 19:10Speaker 2: Yeah, I am in. I am. This is great. I
- 19:13Speaker 2: can plug these guys too. I am at three and
- 19:15Speaker 2: four Sports Cards and Collectibles. My dad at times, I
- 19:20Speaker 2: think he overstays as welcome here because he's always up
- 19:23Speaker 2: here buying cards. But yeah, made some good Pokemon trades.
- 19:26Speaker 2: I snagged a little something for myself. I'm probably gonna
- 19:30Speaker 2: go rip another box here when I'm done, but they're
- 19:33Speaker 2: great up here. I did an autograph signing in his
- 19:36Speaker 2: back room. Now I'm chatting with you guys, So yeah,

- 19:49Speaker 1: Done, shout out, and this show is all over the
- 19:52Speaker 1: TVs for real.
- 19:53Speaker 2: If I don't, if I don't do, if I don't
- 19:55Speaker 2: end up in, if I don't end up in you know,
- 19:57Speaker 2: baseball analy baseball analyst, I think I should just be
- 20:02Speaker 2: a voiceover guy. I think that's got my Let me

- 20:06Speaker 2: right up my alley.
- 20:08Speaker 1: You're gonna happily take that for us. Felt territory is
- 20:11Speaker 1: presented today by you can take that any day. We'll
