- 0:18Speaker 1: we talked back at your girl AJ holiday.

- 0:21Speaker 2: Ten Damn y'all is big tan band. I love y'all
- 0:24Speaker 2: so so so very much and I missed y'all. Thank
- 0:28Speaker 2: you all for coming back. How was your weekend? AJ?
- 0:33Speaker 2: What weekend? Okay?
- 0:35Speaker 1: Because I literally had a day and a half to
- 0:37Speaker 1: myself yesterday. I'm last week Okay, that's all I had.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Excuse me, A half a day, not a day and
- 0:43Speaker 1: a half because we were working. What do you mean
- 0:47Speaker 1: you wasn't working this past weekend because I was.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Yeah, that was one day.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Yeah, but the weekend is only consisted of two days, right,
- 0:57Speaker 1: So I worked Saturday and half a Sunday.
- 1:00Speaker 3: So yeah, I had half a day off last week.
- 1:04Speaker 2: I guess I work every weekend, so it don't feel
- 1:07Speaker 2: no different for me.
- 1:08Speaker 1: Shit, bitch, I been needing a day to decompress, a
- 1:13Speaker 1: full day to decompressed. I didn't get it, So yeah,
- 1:17Speaker 1: I did get rolled by a hag Sunday night and
- 1:20Speaker 1: my fucking air condition went out.
- 1:22Speaker 2: That was very weird.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I said some mean shit about somebody before
- 1:27Speaker 1: I went to sleep, So I'm like, damn they Mama
- 1:28Speaker 1: probably can't even fucked with me.
- 1:33Speaker 2: I had an interesting dream last night as well. I
- 1:38Speaker 2: think I'm really healing. Like I had a dream that
- 1:42Speaker 2: my current self was going back to my childhood self,
- 1:48Speaker 2: and like during moments that I remember of like some
- 1:51Speaker 2: type of trauma, I was telling my childhood self that
- 1:55Speaker 2: I was never going to leave her and that she
- 1:58Speaker 2: is okay. And I remember literally picking my childhood self
- 2:02Speaker 2: up and hugging her hmm. In different situations like I
- 2:08Speaker 2: was in the window looking like waiting on my daddy,
- 2:11Speaker 2: and I came and got myself out of the window
- 2:13Speaker 2: and I was like, come here, I got you. I'm
- 2:15Speaker 2: never Ain't that crazy? Yes?
- 2:18Speaker 1: And that makes me want to cry a little bit
- 2:19Speaker 1: because that is the one thing I can remember about
- 2:22Speaker 1: my fucking daddy is leaving me yep, and waiting for
- 2:26Speaker 1: him at the window, looking at him.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Leave, wait, waiting for him to come.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Oh, I'm watching my daddy pull off when he said
- 2:33Speaker 1: I can go with him.
- 2:38Speaker 2: So I think that was. I was like, am I
- 2:40Speaker 2: healing myself subconsciously? Am I sleep?
- 2:43Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 2:44Speaker 1: I mean that's when we do our most work for real,
- 2:46Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. Like, really, that's when you're awake.
- 2:51Speaker 1: This life right here. It's like a little simulation sometimes
- 2:54Speaker 1: when I'm driving out of highway and like the sky
- 2:56Speaker 1: looks like super clear and super beautiful, I really be
- 2:59Speaker 1: feeling like I'm in a droom show. I'm just riding
- 3:01Speaker 1: and and somebody's like somewhere controlling the button manipulating me.
- 3:07Speaker 1: For real, I'm just like present but not present, you
- 3:11Speaker 1: know what I'm saying.
- 3:12Speaker 2: So, yeah, you ever driven home and then got home
- 3:14Speaker 2: and like I don't remember none of.
- 3:16Speaker 1: The ride all the time, bitch driving a fucking Charlotte
- 3:20Speaker 1: on Saturday.
- 3:21Speaker 3: I don't know how I got there, but I just appeared.
- 3:25Speaker 1: It had me down on the phone all type of
- 3:27Speaker 1: shit mixed up and just I don't know, Thank you God.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Thank you God. That's what i'd be like, because I
- 3:34Speaker 2: don't know how I made it here. I don't remember
- 3:37Speaker 2: playing attention to a lick of that ride. Thank you God.
- 3:41Speaker 2: That's all you can say.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Man, you gets you where you're going as safely even
- 3:44Speaker 1: when your ass ain't paying no attention.
- 3:46Speaker 3: Chib me and my weekend was a bunch of Oh.
- 3:50Speaker 3: I did go out Sunday.
- 3:51Speaker 2: I did go out to eat and stuff with my
- 3:52Speaker 2: my nieces in town.
- 3:54Speaker 3: That's always nice, Aaron. I love Lendy so much.
- 4:00Speaker 1: He's very She's a She's a scorpio though, so she
- 4:04Speaker 1: not always No bit will strike your eyes, okay, but
- 4:09Speaker 1: for the most part, my nieces and nephew are some
- 4:11Speaker 1: good people.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Amen to that. Let's get in the sins.
- 4:15Speaker 3: You got going on a child.
- 4:17Speaker 2: The fertility rate in the US dropped to an all
- 4:20Speaker 2: time low in twenty twenty four, were less than one
- 4:22Speaker 2: point six kids per woman, new federal data shows. It
- 4:27Speaker 2: says the decline might be driven by women delaying or
- 4:30Speaker 2: foregoing childbirth due to economic concerns, later marriages, and inadequate
- 4:35Speaker 2: support like parental leave and affordable childcare. Historically, the rate
- 4:40Speaker 2: was around three point five. In the nineteen sixties, they
- 4:43Speaker 2: was busting the wide open and having and then peaked
- 4:48Speaker 2: at replacement level two point one in two thousand and
- 4:50Speaker 2: seven and now aligns with Western europe countries. European countries,
- 4:56Speaker 2: so despite an increasing one percent increase in total births
- 5:00Speaker 2: I used to client for most age groups with adjustments.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Attribute it to updated since his population estimates estimates incorporating immigration.
- 5:10Speaker 2: So yeah, bites is not having babies like they used to.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Not in America anyway, Why you skip that last part?
- 5:17Speaker 2: Oh you wanted me to go into that. Yeah, go
- 5:19Speaker 2: into that. It's very important and Troup administration has promoted
- 5:23Speaker 2: measures like expanded ivfxs and baby bonuses to boost rates,
- 5:28Speaker 2: but experts like Leslie Root and Karen Does all argue
- 5:31Speaker 2: there's no cause for alarms you and it is a
- 5:33Speaker 2: fertility delay amid ongoing population growth and criticize the policies
- 5:39Speaker 2: that's symbolic rather than addressing core needs.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Okay, So as somebody who will probably have to do
- 5:46Speaker 1: in vuture, like no doctor has said I can't conceive naturally,
- 5:50Speaker 1: but I have one tube, right, so the safest way
- 5:53Speaker 1: probably for me to conceive would be via en vitro.
- 5:58Speaker 3: My old job. The deductible least be one hundred dollars.
- 6:01Speaker 2: That's it.
- 6:02Speaker 1: There are more women having fertility issues than waiting to
- 6:06Speaker 1: have a baby, I believe, and I think there's a
- 6:09Speaker 1: lot of changes that happened in the last decade in America.
- 6:13Speaker 1: That's probably causing more women not to be able to conceive,
- 6:16Speaker 1: because how many women do you know having problems getting pregnant?
- 6:21Speaker 2: Uh, honestly, not that many. I don't know. I don't
- 6:25Speaker 2: know know many that many people that are trying to
- 6:27Speaker 2: get pregnant right now. My peers have had their motherfucking kids.
- 6:33Speaker 3: I still had a couple homegirls and no kids, you
- 6:35Speaker 3: know what I'm saying.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Most of the ones that don't have kids either lying
- 6:41Speaker 2: about not wanting them or don't want them. You know.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Yeah, a couple a couple of my friends like don't
- 6:46Speaker 1: want kids, but for the most part, like they might
- 6:49Speaker 1: be delaying, you know, because of course you want to
- 6:51Speaker 1: get your husband first.
- 6:53Speaker 3: But I mean you started some years start passing by,
- 6:56Speaker 3: like what we're doing.
- 6:57Speaker 1: So I do have a couple of friends who froz
- 6:59Speaker 1: their eggs, so they that's really not fertility issues. Actually,
- 7:03Speaker 1: one she had she was like peri menopausal, so she
- 7:07Speaker 1: froze her eggs, but she ended up conceiving, Okay, naturally,
- 7:11Speaker 1: no problem. So I think there's a lot of there's
- 7:15Speaker 1: a lot more things that's contributing to the decline in
- 7:19Speaker 1: the birth rate. So now they want to pay people,
- 7:22Speaker 1: like in China and shit like that. They be trying
- 7:23Speaker 1: to pay people now to have babies, when all before
- 7:26Speaker 1: they were like putting a like a caught off many
- 7:31Speaker 1: how many how many kids a family could have. So
- 7:34Speaker 1: maybe they're about to start doing that in America. If
- 7:37Speaker 1: y'all ever traveled through Middle America, like just driven like
- 7:41Speaker 1: from the east to the west coast.
- 7:43Speaker 4: It's a lot.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Like most people only live on the outside of the country.
- 7:47Speaker 3: We are not overpopulated.
- 7:49Speaker 1: It's like concentrated areas, right, the major cities that are
- 7:54Speaker 1: overcrowded with a bunch of people.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Like we're all living in one area, right.
- 7:58Speaker 1: But if you want to get some land and build
- 8:00Speaker 1: some shit in Montana somewhere, you can have a.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Whole and you can count to yourself. Yeah, a whole lot. Yeah.
- 8:06Speaker 2: So some black families like on ig like Brian laying
- 8:11Speaker 2: out there and putting big gas homes on it.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I want to do that, you know, because I
- 8:16Speaker 1: do not aspire to you know how people be like,
- 8:18Speaker 1: oh my kids, my kids go to a white school.
- 8:20Speaker 1: We live in an all white neighborhood. I don't have black neighbors.
- 8:22Speaker 1: That is not what I aspired to have. Okay, yes,
- 8:26Speaker 1: I would love to live in a neighborhood with a
- 8:28Speaker 1: bunch of black people, affluent flant families with money and.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Me being someone who went to school and was in
- 8:35Speaker 2: classes with only white students. It is not good. Yeah,
- 8:39Speaker 2: it's not a flex no shape to white people like
- 8:42Speaker 2: they're cool or whatever. But we don't have nobody that
- 8:45Speaker 2: look like you in class. You get alienated. So yeah,
- 8:51Speaker 2: y'all know, I believe in social engineering. Okay.
- 8:53Speaker 1: I feel like everything is always like trying to like
- 8:57Speaker 1: everything is always Everything in life is marketing, right, this
- 9:00Speaker 1: was marketing. We got ads running through it. TV is marketing.
- 9:03Speaker 1: You get like what fifteen minutes of TV and how
- 9:05Speaker 1: many minutes of commercials? So when everybody starts doing something,
- 9:11Speaker 1: I'm going right when everybody else is going left.
- 9:15Speaker 2: That fucking t app that just.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Came out that when viral that all the podcasts are
- 9:20Speaker 1: talking about is just all on social media, just all
- 9:22Speaker 1: of a sudden, Like, who don't.
- 9:24Speaker 3: Y'all to talk about this?
- 9:25Speaker 1: See, people got to be conscious of like are you
- 9:28Speaker 1: doing this because you want to? So now we're talking
- 9:30Speaker 1: about on the back end. Now this is the bad
- 9:32Speaker 1: part of this app. So apparently the t app was
- 9:36Speaker 1: recently hacked after going viral exposing seventy two thousand, seventy
- 9:41Speaker 1: two thousand user photos. So the t app designed to
- 9:44Speaker 1: help women spot red flag men and catch cheaters hasn't hacked.
- 9:50Speaker 1: After going viral this week, the app announced it had
- 9:53Speaker 1: discovered unauthorized access to archive data system, and a statement
- 9:58Speaker 1: on social media Friday, the data system held an estimated
- 10:01Speaker 1: seventy two thousand.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Why am I.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Adding the number with user Seventy two thousand users submitted images,
- 10:09Speaker 1: including thirteen thousand image images of selfie, some of which
- 10:14Speaker 1: included photo IDs submitted during account verification. In addition, fifty
- 10:20Speaker 1: nine thousand images publicly viewable in the app from posts, comments,
- 10:24Speaker 1: and direct messages from other two years excuse me, from
- 10:27Speaker 1: over two years we're also accessed.
- 10:30Speaker 3: So this app ain't even that old. But anyway, major marketing, I.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Know my selfie of them you signed up for this app. Well,
- 10:38Speaker 2: I didn't make it that far. I just did this
- 10:39Speaker 2: selfie portion, uh huh, And that was as far as
- 10:43Speaker 2: I got. So here's the thing. I saw this ugly
- 10:47Speaker 2: They was like, nobody will see this selfie. That's what
- 10:49Speaker 2: they said in that shit like looking like this, This
- 10:55Speaker 2: is not a cute selfie.
- 10:57Speaker 3: Now you're selfie about to be on an ai acount.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Right, Okay, so yeah, the app got hacked, so now
- 11:05Speaker 1: it's a whole hot mess.
- 11:06Speaker 4: Right.
- 11:07Speaker 1: But then I also saw this other Instagram user. She
- 11:10Speaker 1: put a post up and she was saying, y'all bitches, y'all.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Women better be glad that men.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Now.
- 11:15Speaker 3: I don't believe that men aren't chatty patties.
- 11:17Speaker 1: I actually believe men probably talk shit about women even
- 11:20Speaker 1: more like you know, amongst themselves, amongst their peers. But
- 11:24Speaker 1: imagine if men were to have an app talking about
- 11:29Speaker 1: who all they don't smash? What red flags you got,
- 11:34Speaker 1: what your bathroom look like, what that microwave look like? Right,
- 11:38Speaker 1: putting your picture up for other men to comment and
- 11:42Speaker 1: add on to your body count essentially like y'all bitches
- 11:46Speaker 1: would commit suicide.
- 11:47Speaker 2: The app would fail.
- 11:48Speaker 5: No, y'all would kill y'allselves. If people really know.
- 11:54Speaker 1: I always used to say, man, if my dog or
- 11:56Speaker 1: my cat could talk bitch, okay, that is what this
- 12:01Speaker 1: would be.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Equivalent.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Toss should be like, she's holped me out. I saw
- 12:08Speaker 1: that god Belly used to be like bitch at me,
- 12:12Speaker 1: like pitch, what the fuck is my water? But yeah,
- 12:16Speaker 1: y'all were really like I feel like a lot of people,
- 12:18Speaker 1: a lot of women would literally die. I don't think
- 12:21Speaker 1: we can handle the ship we'd be putting men through.
- 12:23Speaker 1: We already can't handle like criticism, and we can't handle
- 12:27Speaker 1: the truth a lot.
- 12:29Speaker 2: That's why I've never go on that park to balloon shit.
- 12:33Speaker 2: I would never go on those like that.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Me neither me neither that shit is. I don't know,
- 12:38Speaker 1: it's just I got some other things about that. Have
- 12:41Speaker 1: you watched it on Netflix yet?
- 12:43Speaker 2: I hadn't.
- 12:44Speaker 1: I tried it, Yeah, because it's different right on Netflix,
- 12:47Speaker 1: That's what I heard. Yeah, Yeah, I don't think women
- 12:51Speaker 1: can deal with rejection.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Well you know what I'm saying.
- 12:54Speaker 1: We're not used to getting rejected at least a man
- 12:56Speaker 1: want to at least have sex with you, a nigga,
- 12:58Speaker 1: turn your pussy down, like, oh my god.
- 13:00Speaker 3: The world is about the end, right, And that's.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Because we're not typically the ones who are doing the approaching,
- 13:06Speaker 2: you know, mm hmm. That's why we don't have to
- 13:09Speaker 2: be rejected as much. We don't do it publicly.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Bitch is definitely be hopping them in's inboxes because some
- 13:15Speaker 1: of my friends be showing me the messages of women
- 13:17Speaker 1: that you know be in the inbox, and I definitely.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Be sneaking to meek coffee. Are you married? Do you
- 13:28Speaker 2: like coffee?
- 13:29Speaker 1: And the same way like you might never respond to
- 13:32Speaker 1: a guy and he can like stays in your DM.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Women be doing that same shit.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Right and if they don't say nothing back, I'll be like, Okay,
- 13:39Speaker 2: well he's gay.
- 13:40Speaker 1: So next obviously, so y'all better stop partaking in that bullshit.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Man.
- 13:48Speaker 1: If y'all don't want these men to come up with
- 13:50Speaker 1: some shit on us, man, because listen, lord, listen, here's
- 13:54Speaker 1: the thing.
- 13:54Speaker 2: What could they really I think about that, And I'm like,
- 13:56Speaker 2: what could they really say.
- 13:59Speaker 1: If one hundred two hundred three hundred men posts they
- 14:02Speaker 1: smash because some women out here got that type of
- 14:04Speaker 1: body that kind of BodyCount, Some women got that type
- 14:08Speaker 1: of body body count, and they on this app like,
- 14:12Speaker 1: men ain't shit, not the same. You ain't shit just
- 14:15Speaker 1: because you got a high body count. That's not what
- 14:17Speaker 1: I'm saying. But I mean, like, you know, you leave it.
- 14:20Speaker 1: It is open for judgment.
- 14:21Speaker 2: Okay. The niggas that come on like if they could
- 14:24Speaker 2: just tap and say I hit two, it's gonna be
- 14:26Speaker 2: niggas who lie in. I definitely got bodies I.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Never got right, like who who? Yeah, So I don't know, y'all,
- 14:37Speaker 1: Bett be careful, be careful. We all exposing these guys
- 14:40Speaker 1: man karma.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Yeah, but sometimes these niggas be need exposing. Sometimes I'm like,
- 14:51Speaker 2: I'm not talking about like guys who are just out
- 14:53Speaker 2: here they and and having their way, you know, which
- 14:57Speaker 2: is mad. I'm talking about like real life predators.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:00Speaker 2: But then you know, I said this one thing I
- 15:02Speaker 2: saw home. I seen this one thing where this nigga
- 15:05Speaker 2: was going on a date with a girl. She picked
- 15:07Speaker 2: him up from his apartment complex, and he said, can
- 15:11Speaker 2: we run by McDonald's and get my mom and brothers
- 15:14Speaker 2: some food real quid before we go. So they went
- 15:16Speaker 2: to McDonald's and ordered the food, and then he was like,
- 15:19Speaker 2: oh shit, I looked at the wilder in the house.
- 15:21Speaker 2: So she paid for it right. He took her back
- 15:24Speaker 2: to the apartment to drop it off, and he never
- 15:26Speaker 2: came back downstairs and blocked their phone number. Apparently he
- 15:30Speaker 2: was getting his baby mama and son food from the
- 15:33Speaker 2: McDonald's and used her they was broke. Damn. Niggas be predators.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Women do that too. Women be predators. Women are apex predators. Okay,
- 15:45Speaker 1: let's be clear, and we want to get your ass
- 15:49Speaker 1: up out of here.
- 15:49Speaker 2: We're gonna do whatever we gotta do too. Yeah, so
- 15:52Speaker 2: we not gonna act.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Like women don't be using men for food, Like women
- 15:55Speaker 1: literally have niggas name programmed in their phone as a
- 15:58Speaker 1: restaurant Applebee's whatever, Apple, that's nasty Bees. Yeah, so we're
- 16:06Speaker 1: not gonna act like women don't do that type of
- 16:08Speaker 1: scammy ship. And guess and guess what's not happening. A
- 16:11Speaker 1: man is not putting them on the app about it.
- 16:14Speaker 2: They just move on.
- 16:15Speaker 1: They might not ever say your name, they may talk
- 16:18Speaker 1: about the story, but they not exposing you in the
- 16:20Speaker 1: way that women be exposing men.
- 16:22Speaker 3: I just don't think it's cool.
- 16:23Speaker 1: And then the predatorial thing, like I understand that, right,
- 16:26Speaker 1: But then I also don't believe every woman that's involved
- 16:28Speaker 1: in a me too movement because you see what's happening now,
- 16:31Speaker 1: like women lie, We act like women don't lie. Women
- 16:35Speaker 1: are not always on honest, no, no, because she's still
- 16:42Speaker 1: just a person, you know. Yeah, And let's not like
- 16:44Speaker 1: we don't have lion deceitful ass female friends. Like we
- 16:48Speaker 1: know the type of shit some of our friends be doing.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Why try not associate myself if somebody super like Yeah,
- 16:57Speaker 1: because when is my it is my turn coming out?
- 17:01Speaker 2: Yeah? So all right, so it says here Lakers DeAndre eighton,
- 17:07Speaker 2: I think that's how you said. Accused of stranded ig
- 17:09Speaker 2: model in Turks and k COO's after she refused to
- 17:12Speaker 2: sleep with him. So this girl came to Turks and
- 17:16Speaker 2: k Co's, uh, and when she wouldn't give them nine,
- 17:21Speaker 2: she got left and she was stranded there.
- 17:24Speaker 3: How are you stranded? Did you not have any money?
- 17:27Speaker 2: Did you not listen to flute out one oh one? Girlfriend?
- 17:30Speaker 2: You need to go back to season one. Baby girl,
- 17:33Speaker 2: we taught you what to do when getting flewed out,
- 17:35Speaker 2: because you're never stranded. If you got money and exactly
- 17:39Speaker 2: got no money, you should not go nowhere. Your mama
- 17:41Speaker 2: should have taught you that. Yeah.
- 17:43Speaker 1: I wonder if this is the person in the image,
- 17:46Speaker 1: because you know, sometimes they just be putting people. I mean,
- 17:49Speaker 1: why they give her name his name but not hers? Right,
- 17:54Speaker 1: I don't be I don't always be like going with
- 17:56Speaker 1: the illustration so because I know they'll use rand the
- 18:00Speaker 1: mask people.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Well, I don't seen a couple of different illustrations that
- 18:04Speaker 2: look like the same female.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Okay, well, I mean you ain't never stranded or maybe
- 18:09Speaker 1: just she just it's just maybe semantics. I don't know,
- 18:12Speaker 1: but yeah, you ain't never stranded. If you got money,
- 18:14Speaker 1: like I would enjoy my vacation, I'll go get me
- 18:16Speaker 1: a resort and be chilling. Yeah, and you fuck running
- 18:20Speaker 1: meet somebody you actually like, because I don't.
- 18:22Speaker 3: I really don't feel.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Like women fly out with no intention intention on having sex.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Something happens and it turns the pussy off, right, and
- 18:31Speaker 1: now you're not getting nothing because I'm not back.
- 18:33Speaker 2: To But that don't mean you're gonna get it just
- 18:35Speaker 2: because you bought a plane ticket, right, it's the vibe envibent.
- 18:39Speaker 2: I'm not gonna have sex with you, period exactly, and
- 18:43Speaker 2: I wouldn't give Yeah, yeah, don't be going flying out nowhere.
- 18:49Speaker 1: First of all, if you don't want to smash, I
- 18:51Speaker 1: feel like you should stay Yeah.
- 18:52Speaker 2: If you know that you come in and you leaving
- 18:55Speaker 2: your pussy at home, you should stay home too, Yes,
- 18:59Speaker 2: because what are you doing? Because you you gotta know
- 19:01Speaker 2: that that's childish flying you out because he wants y'all probably.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Don't talk about smashing everything else.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Like girl, if I do that ship, bitch, it's on
- 19:09Speaker 1: the fucking pop as soon as I see your ass.
- 19:11Speaker 2: Okay, what are we doing?
- 19:13Speaker 1: No, I al I need to eat first, But antake
- 19:18Speaker 1: a shadow like, bitch, you didn't even get to wash
- 19:24Speaker 1: it this nigga, Like what's some niggas like that?
- 19:26Speaker 2: But I know I've seen some stories.
- 19:29Speaker 1: But yeah, stay your ass at the house or have
- 19:32Speaker 1: some fucking money alway, any options.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Always even if you bring your coachine, you know you're
- 19:40Speaker 2: gonna pop it open and that's your currency. Still have
- 19:42Speaker 2: some money, bitch, like you should never go nowhere talking
- 19:45Speaker 2: about I'm stranded. I don't see this too many times.
- 19:50Speaker 3: And that's whack of a man.
- 19:52Speaker 1: I've went, I've been food out right, and then you
- 19:57Speaker 1: know the guy is like, you know, we don't He
- 19:59Speaker 1: was after we don't have sex, right, I mean, if
- 20:04Speaker 1: we didn't have sex, it would have been okay. But
- 20:07Speaker 1: I mean that's in retrospect at that point. You seeing
- 20:09Speaker 1: that shit after the fact. But I'm not going to
- 20:12Speaker 1: place in not smashing. I'm just not if I'm not
- 20:15Speaker 1: comfortable with you not yes again you could say some
- 20:17Speaker 1: shit do some shit in it.
- 20:19Speaker 2: And like in my twenties, I went to La to
- 20:21Speaker 2: see this guy I knew very well. We went to
- 20:23Speaker 2: this we went to church together, like we grew up
- 20:25Speaker 2: in the same church. You know. So I've known this
- 20:29Speaker 2: man my entire childhood in life, and I was playing
- 20:33Speaker 2: ball overseas he was now in La. He asked me
- 20:36Speaker 2: to come to La. We were having a good time,
- 20:40Speaker 2: was talking about, you know, our childhood, the church family,
- 20:45Speaker 2: who was doing what, and then like we went to
- 20:48Speaker 2: a nice dinner and then that night he was trying to,
- 20:51Speaker 2: you know, take it to the next level sexually, but
- 20:54Speaker 2: he did not want to use a condom and I
- 20:58Speaker 2: was like, no, I'm not with that, like I'm ever
- 21:01Speaker 2: believer of using protection. And he did. He got mad
- 21:07Speaker 2: and said he ain't want to do it if he
- 21:08Speaker 2: had THEO.
- 21:09Speaker 1: No, that's that's absolutely happened to me before from a friend,
- 21:14Speaker 1: like somebody I have been in school with from middle
- 21:16Speaker 1: school on up. Absolutely, And he said what I said,
- 21:21Speaker 1: don't know, fucking you wrong. He was like, I know,
- 21:24Speaker 1: let me phrase it properly. He said, I know what,
- 21:30Speaker 1: I know what the what the bitches be doing that
- 21:33Speaker 1: I fuck with or some shit like that? What you
- 21:38Speaker 1: fucking somebody else? What makes you think they're not fucking
- 21:40Speaker 1: somebody else? You think you got my control over Debo?
- 21:43Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying?
- 21:45Speaker 1: Yeah, you think you got my control over these women
- 21:48Speaker 1: that I'm supposed to trust that you know what they're
- 21:50Speaker 1: doing to stow add my Kucie to the sis, bob Stick.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Absolutely fucking not.
- 21:55Speaker 3: No men are retarded.
- 21:58Speaker 2: That's in my twenties. Why he was awesome, Why you
- 22:01Speaker 2: need to use a condom? You got something? Are you retarded? Yes?
- 22:08Speaker 2: You are? I use that word every episode. I gotta stop.
- 22:11Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 22:12Speaker 3: Why that is retardation?
- 22:13Speaker 2: Because what that don't make no sense? Like that's your logic.
- 22:18Speaker 2: That is scary logic.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Because if he's using that logic with you, the other
- 22:22Speaker 1: people he's smashing without a condom, he's also then well,
- 22:25Speaker 1: if you got to use a condom, that mean you
- 22:26Speaker 1: got something. I don't got to use no cordom, I
- 22:28Speaker 1: don't got nothing.
- 22:30Speaker 2: What what? And probably ain't got tested cheating until you do,
- 22:36Speaker 2: but it won't be me. So he was and listening.
- 22:40Speaker 2: He thought like he thought it was a flex to
- 22:42Speaker 2: like all right, got mad, got up the next morning
- 22:45Speaker 2: and left and was gone for a long time. I
- 22:48Speaker 2: know people in LA and I got fuck you money baby.
- 22:51Speaker 2: I was out of there when he pulled up. It
- 22:53Speaker 2: was a g wagon, pulled it up with sitting me
- 22:56Speaker 2: away from there with your scarfrap Ryan next na same.
- 23:09Speaker 1: That's how you gotta treat her, man, because who you're
- 23:11Speaker 1: playing with, right, it's getting.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Rough by him. Man.
- 23:13Speaker 1: Some of these dudes are lame okay, and they just
- 23:16Speaker 1: happen to get some money.
- 23:18Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Right, so they think that, you know, because they have
- 23:21Speaker 1: this money now, everything else is supposed to just come easy.
- 23:24Speaker 1: And then when you don't is and then you're the
- 23:27Speaker 1: ig model with the fat ass. I'm sure he ran like, oh,
- 23:30Speaker 1: I know she going right, especially if she gets fluid
- 23:33Speaker 1: out often she still gets to picka choose so she
- 23:35Speaker 1: want to smash right, but she.
- 23:38Speaker 2: She definitely can't. First of all, I would have never
- 23:43Speaker 2: I would never told the world this story that anybody
- 23:46Speaker 2: stranded me anywhere.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I would not have. But you know they want
- 23:50Speaker 1: the cloud. Yeah, girls be lame to.
- 23:53Speaker 2: I keep saying that you want to notice the story
- 23:57Speaker 2: is the salvation army, baby, please help me get hold.
- 24:04Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell a story, but I ain't telling names,
- 24:06Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, Like I feel like that's
- 24:08Speaker 1: why I'm never just trying to expose people.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Man, I ain't never tell nobody I'm stranded nowhere. That's
- 24:16Speaker 2: one of the things that's going down with me. Maybe
- 24:18Speaker 2: my best friend in the sound she.
- 24:20Speaker 1: Just felt stranded because the person she came here to
- 24:22Speaker 1: be with just left her.
- 24:23Speaker 2: So that is like maybe it wasn't financially stranded.
- 24:26Speaker 1: Maybe just yeah, yeah, because like say, for instance, somebody
- 24:30Speaker 1: tell you to get out their car. Of course you
- 24:31Speaker 1: got the uber app right, That is still leaving you
- 24:34Speaker 1: stranded though, yea, even though you can get to where
- 24:37Speaker 1: you're going, Like they left.
- 24:38Speaker 2: Me for dead, like Mama, yeah, you left me.
- 24:44Speaker 3: So maybe maybe she had a couple of dollars. I
- 24:45Speaker 3: don't know, but y'all, y'all young girls, do not leave
- 24:48Speaker 3: y'all fucking house with.
- 24:50Speaker 2: No money ever, any draws and money in your pocket.
- 24:56Speaker 2: You never know what's gonna happen.
- 24:58Speaker 1: And Mama always told me that even know what's gonna happen,
- 25:01Speaker 1: make sure I don't wear draws in this age.
- 25:03Speaker 2: So anyway, I.
- 25:05Speaker 3: Gotta work by that. I wear a by no holy draws.
- 25:11Speaker 1: But make sure you got some motherfucking money in your
- 25:13Speaker 1: pocket or somebody who got some money who don't mind
- 25:15Speaker 1: those sending who don't mind sending it to you something.
- 25:18Speaker 2: You gotta have some type of means life.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Right, all right, y'all, So let's get into this week's episode.
- 25:26Speaker 1: We have a lovely guest when we talked back this week.
- 25:30Speaker 1: Her name is Vanity Where, and she is a super
- 25:34Speaker 1: tech girly and she is going to give us a
- 25:36Speaker 1: little bit little tidbits on you know, black women in tech,
- 25:42Speaker 1: how do you get in tech? What adore your life?
- 25:46Speaker 1: Is also like a little movement she has going as well,
- 25:51Speaker 1: So y'all stay tuned.
- 25:58Speaker 3: All right, y'all. So y'all know everything is tech and with.
- 26:03Speaker 1: The rise of AI. Right, So today's guest is essential
- 26:07Speaker 1: if you're in a job market. Why are you smelling
- 26:09Speaker 1: that crazy? We have Vanity Where on we talked back
- 26:15Speaker 1: this week, and she's a certified life and business coach
- 26:19Speaker 1: with over thirteen years of experience in tech and she's
- 26:22Speaker 1: helping people all over the country land high paying tech roles,
- 26:25Speaker 1: secure global contracts and shift their mindset to align with
- 26:29Speaker 1: their purpose. All right, so welcome to adore your life.
- 26:33Speaker 2: Yes, yes, absolutely, thank you for coming on. I'm excited listen,
- 26:41Speaker 2: and I'm so proud of you.
- 26:42Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 26:43Speaker 2: Oh y'all know each other?
- 26:44Speaker 3: Yeah, oh.
- 26:48Speaker 2: I'm not since I got to Charlotte.
- 26:50Speaker 6: So literally a very long time. Oh hey girl become
- 26:54Speaker 6: a mother and yeah literally.
- 26:58Speaker 2: So let didn't know about tech because y'all her Instagram.
- 27:01Speaker 2: It's all right, So you're so funny on there, like
- 27:04Speaker 2: you make tech funny and I always think of tech
- 27:07Speaker 2: as some born as nerdy shit low key, right, I
- 27:10Speaker 2: mean it is, but but you make it cool and
- 27:13Speaker 2: you make it funny and you make it interesting. And
- 27:16Speaker 2: one of my friends reached out to you. All right,
- 27:18Speaker 2: this is all right, this is kind off topic, but
- 27:20Speaker 2: a little bit about a scrum master.
- 27:23Speaker 4: What is that?
- 27:24Speaker 2: Because yeah, that sounds like something filthy? What dad?
- 27:28Speaker 6: Because the scrum card I see, I see where your
- 27:30Speaker 6: head is going. There, I see where your head is going.
- 27:33Speaker 6: But a scrum master is basically just a person who
- 27:36Speaker 6: is kind of like a business a project manager. They
- 27:41Speaker 6: kind of the person who just make sure the company
- 27:45Speaker 6: is agile.
- 27:46Speaker 4: They make sure the company can really.
- 27:48Speaker 6: Flow together and really like accomplish their goals, whatever the
- 27:52Speaker 6: business goals are.
- 27:52Speaker 2: So there's no filter involved. No, I mean, well you
- 27:55Speaker 2: can tell topic. It's gonna tell abate that.
- 27:58Speaker 4: Hell all right, I'm not.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Part yeah the name, like, how did they come up
- 28:07Speaker 2: with that? You know? That's what you refer like? Girl.
- 28:11Speaker 2: But before we get into the conversation, y'all, we gotta
- 28:14Speaker 2: take a little shot, y'all. We have a very new
- 28:17Speaker 2: sponsor for we talk back real, Lee Bray. It is
- 28:20Speaker 2: a black female on tequila brand out of Atlanta, and honestly,
- 28:25Speaker 2: it's really really good, so I want you to try.
- 28:28Speaker 2: The first one we're gonna try is the Peach Margarita,
- 28:31Speaker 2: and it's already mixed and it's really really nice. So
- 28:35Speaker 2: everybody grab your drink and let's take a shot too
- 28:38Speaker 2: on an empty stomach. Listen, Cheers to adoring your life.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Cheers clean, clean, clean clean. Oh you gotta tap it.
- 28:49Speaker 2: That's a good one. Ain't that nice?
- 28:52Speaker 3: That's real good?
- 28:53Speaker 4: Myself drinking that for real.
- 28:55Speaker 2: We're gonna drink this one. I'm gonna finish it. That's
- 28:59Speaker 2: a good one, all right, Ray and Leray, y'all check
- 29:03Speaker 2: them out, all right? So let's talk healing in high places.
- 29:08Speaker 2: All right, So let me see what I got here.
- 29:11Speaker 2: How black women in corporate tech navigate burnout. So let's
- 29:16Speaker 2: talk about burnout and what that looks like, especially for
- 29:18Speaker 2: black women.
- 29:20Speaker 6: Well for me because I can really only talk for me,
- 29:23Speaker 6: you know, but for me, burnout is just like when
- 29:25Speaker 6: I'm feeling like overstimulated and I really want to crash out,
- 29:29Speaker 6: you know, like I just don't. I don't want to
- 29:32Speaker 6: get to a point where it's like I'm feeling depressed,
- 29:34Speaker 6: but I kind of just feel like, you know, I
- 29:37Speaker 6: just want to go in my room.
- 29:38Speaker 4: I don't want to be bothered.
- 29:39Speaker 6: And with having a kid or a daughter, that's just
- 29:42Speaker 6: you can't really burn out exactly.
- 29:44Speaker 1: It's like they know when you need a break and
- 29:46Speaker 1: they come talking right right.
- 29:49Speaker 4: Yeah. So I'm like, we can't allow ourself to do that.
- 29:52Speaker 2: So in the tech world, how would you encourage like
- 29:57Speaker 2: tech girlies to navigate that environment? Like what some ways
- 30:00Speaker 2: that they can navigate burnout?
- 30:02Speaker 6: So some ways that they can navigate burnout is for me,
- 30:05Speaker 6: it's doing like affirmations first.
- 30:07Speaker 4: I know people be like information is so cliche, but no.
- 30:10Speaker 6: It really works because like for me, I'm the only
- 30:12Speaker 6: black person, a black woman, and almost we just hired
- 30:16Speaker 6: a new black man last week. So like I'm the
- 30:19Speaker 6: only black woman in the room, and you kind of
- 30:21Speaker 6: feel like you have to shrink yourself. And so those
- 30:24Speaker 6: affirmations like I should be in this room right, it
- 30:27Speaker 6: needs to be heard. Those are the affirmations that you
- 30:31Speaker 6: kind of want to say to yourself. So you don't
- 30:32Speaker 6: start that shrinking yourself, Like you don't.
- 30:34Speaker 3: Start overthinks like imposter syndrome and stuff like that.
- 30:37Speaker 4: Start overthinking like should I get braids?
- 30:39Speaker 1: Like no, for real, because unfortunately, it is a uniform
- 30:48Speaker 1: in the corporate world, you know what I'm saying. Like
- 30:50Speaker 1: I think it's changing though, because you got the white
- 30:52Speaker 1: boys who come in with sleeves up, whole sleeve tattoos.
- 30:54Speaker 1: So we're in the corporate setting now like our generation
- 30:58Speaker 1: all right, the millennial.
- 30:59Speaker 2: Linials, not so many boomers exactly.
- 31:03Speaker 3: That's changing.
- 31:04Speaker 4: Yeah, it's changing.
- 31:05Speaker 6: So like I would just say, make sure you're seeing
- 31:07Speaker 6: your affirmations and making sure that you build community. So
- 31:10Speaker 6: that's like therapy, gone outside, getting outside. I don't care
- 31:14Speaker 6: if you got to me and still get outside, you know,
- 31:16Speaker 6: build that community or make that safe place for yourself.
- 31:20Speaker 6: But it's just being at home, dancing, doing your thing.
- 31:24Speaker 6: Just build community and go to therapy. I really and
- 31:27Speaker 6: going to therapy.
- 31:29Speaker 4: And let's talk about that.
- 31:31Speaker 3: Yeah, therapy is definitely is important.
- 31:33Speaker 1: And I just think that I think women Black women
- 31:36Speaker 1: in particular, we do therapy.
- 31:39Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying. If it's just congregating with
- 31:41Speaker 3: each other and talking through our shit.
- 31:42Speaker 1: That's right, We at least talk, right, So, yeah, it's
- 31:45Speaker 1: absolutely important in every facet, every sect.
- 31:48Speaker 2: Of your life.
- 31:50Speaker 1: What about cold switching, cold switching and tech and corporate, Like,
- 31:56Speaker 1: how do you navigate that and then still stay you know,
- 31:59Speaker 1: authentic to yourself because I've always prided myself on just
- 32:03Speaker 1: it's just easy to be yourself. Yeah, So in any setting,
- 32:06Speaker 1: any job I ever had, as soon as I walk.
- 32:08Speaker 3: In the doors, here comes trouble because me and setting.
- 32:12Speaker 6: Well, I feel like I don't really necessarily believe in
- 32:16Speaker 6: cold sweets. I believe in literally being yourself because you
- 32:20Speaker 6: can only kind of keep that up for certain exhausting
- 32:24Speaker 6: then eventually you're gonna start like breaking through, Like you're
- 32:27Speaker 6: gonna start being your real self. That's like when you're
- 32:29Speaker 6: in a relationship with a man, and he code switched
- 32:31Speaker 6: for the.
- 32:32Speaker 3: First that representative, that representative was there.
- 32:36Speaker 4: It is just the same experience in text.
- 32:38Speaker 6: So I really believe that you should just be yourself,
- 32:40Speaker 6: like going there being yourself. I mean, if you want
- 32:43Speaker 6: to like fancy up the way you talk a little
- 32:45Speaker 6: bit more, you know, sound a little bit more professional,
- 32:48Speaker 6: you can do that, but like, again, how long are
- 32:51Speaker 6: you gonna do that?
- 32:52Speaker 3: Cause that gets you gonna come out you get frustrated, right.
- 32:57Speaker 4: Like, yeah, I see a lot of women that do that,
- 33:01Speaker 4: you know, they're like.
- 33:02Speaker 2: I'm like, it almost comes as second nature after some time,
- 33:07Speaker 2: Like being in these environments, I'd be like, I find
- 33:09Speaker 2: myself saying, you bet you. I don't girl in real life, But.
- 33:16Speaker 3: Where did that?
- 33:16Speaker 2: Where did that come from?
- 33:18Speaker 4: Your grandmama?
- 33:23Speaker 2: You bet you?
- 33:24Speaker 4: You bet your grandma?
- 33:28Speaker 2: We're just trying to stay up. She was half white.
- 33:30Speaker 4: I'm here, you're not what I'm picking up on? What
- 33:35Speaker 4: you learn? You bet you got it.
- 33:39Speaker 2: But it's just like you know, like you code switched on.
- 33:43Speaker 2: It's not even on purpose. It's just like growing up.
- 33:46Speaker 2: I just feel like we've had to do it so
- 33:49Speaker 2: much that we just assimilate sometimes but I'm like, because
- 33:55Speaker 2: I'm from Charleston and we extra geechee, and then people
- 33:58Speaker 2: you come to Charleston, you really gonna hear geechee. I
- 34:00Speaker 2: do try to articulate my words more because of the
- 34:03Speaker 2: different settings I'm in, But for the most part, like,
- 34:06Speaker 2: I've never had.
- 34:07Speaker 3: To just not be me in any setting.
- 34:09Speaker 1: And if you fuck with me, you with me, you don't, right,
- 34:12Speaker 1: So I think, yeah, I would agree that people.
- 34:14Speaker 3: Just should try to stay tue to themselves.
- 34:17Speaker 6: Yeah, because again, you deserve to be in that room,
- 34:20Speaker 6: and you add value.
- 34:21Speaker 4: Whenever you start to, like as simulate too much, then
- 34:25Speaker 4: you kind of lose your voice in the room.
- 34:26Speaker 6: They hired you for a reason, but that woman of
- 34:29Speaker 6: color to give a different viewpoint on things.
- 34:31Speaker 2: Absolutely, But do y'all remember that episode of Insecure, the
- 34:34Speaker 2: black girl. She was played by dang I can't think
- 34:38Speaker 2: of who was played by you. She was like a
- 34:40Speaker 2: summer intern like for the law firm, and they wanted
- 34:46Speaker 2: she was in there, like in the break room like
- 34:47Speaker 2: and yeah, you know what I said, And that was
- 34:49Speaker 2: crazy and Isa, no it wasn't. It was Molly. Molly
- 34:54Speaker 2: was like seeing it, you know, Like so then some
- 34:59Speaker 2: of the partners came to Molly, because Molly is the
- 35:01Speaker 2: black woman, was like, maybe you could, you know, talk
- 35:04Speaker 2: to her fellow negro right and tell her to negro
- 35:08Speaker 2: a little bit right. They didn't say that, but that's
- 35:09Speaker 2: what they were asking her to do. She refused to
- 35:12Speaker 2: do it. You know.
- 35:14Speaker 1: Yeah, well but I feel like that's a little different
- 35:16Speaker 1: right cause it is. It is a time and place
- 35:17Speaker 1: for everything, like you got and o how to be
- 35:19Speaker 1: your Yeah.
- 35:21Speaker 6: It's like she because they telling you them people looking
- 35:24Speaker 6: at you like girl like in their way, so like
- 35:27Speaker 6: if you're not reading the room, then you're going to
- 35:28Speaker 6: continue to be doing too much looking crazy.
- 35:31Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, it's just like a slippery slope though, because
- 35:33Speaker 2: you don't know when to be too much yourself and
- 35:35Speaker 2: when to like you bet you.
- 35:38Speaker 3: You know, I don't never feel like you bet you.
- 35:42Speaker 6: I could say, like the people you bet you, they
- 35:46Speaker 6: really like they kind of like your lingo. Like literally
- 35:50Speaker 6: I said, I was in the office and I said, no,
- 35:52Speaker 6: did he do. One of my coworkers he was like,
- 35:54Speaker 6: I'm gonna go say that to my son this weekends.
- 35:56Speaker 4: Like he's a girl. I'm take it up people, and
- 35:59Speaker 4: I'm gonna say no.
- 36:02Speaker 2: You know. All right, so soft life meets hard tech.
- 36:11Speaker 2: Let's talk about how the soft life movement works or
- 36:13Speaker 2: doesn't work for black women in high pressure tech roles.
- 36:17Speaker 4: Okay, I feel like it works. Like you're making more money,
- 36:21Speaker 4: all right, so you're.
- 36:22Speaker 6: Able to really like just show yourself self care like period.
- 36:27Speaker 6: So you're you have the money, so why not do it?
- 36:30Speaker 4: Get order a cleaner, like get somebody clean outsource like
- 36:34Speaker 4: you know.
- 36:35Speaker 6: And I feel like it's very important because you really
- 36:38Speaker 6: start to feel like you're doing a lot in the road.
- 36:42Speaker 6: You're really like moving, you're doing your job or whatever,
- 36:45Speaker 6: and it's important that when you come home you know
- 36:48Speaker 6: how to just have that soft life and you allow
- 36:50Speaker 6: yourself to have that soft.
- 36:52Speaker 4: Like Yeah, that's the part for ye.
- 36:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 36:57Speaker 1: I just saw this post on Instagram and and it
- 37:00Speaker 1: was a podcast and then we're talking about like how
- 37:04Speaker 1: basically talking about like the average income amongst black people
- 37:08Speaker 1: in the major black cities, so like Atlanta, Charlotte, DC
- 37:11Speaker 1: or whatever, and it was like Charlotte sneaky, Charlotte will
- 37:15Speaker 1: sneaky with the money we got all the banks here,
- 37:17Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. So most black people like
- 37:19Speaker 1: a lot of them are making at least eighty thousand
- 37:21Speaker 1: dollars above t one hundred thousand dollars plus if you
- 37:25Speaker 1: work at Wells Fargo.
- 37:28Speaker 2: Regions.
- 37:29Speaker 1: All of those banks, yeah, are here in the area.
- 37:32Speaker 1: So yeah, like the girlies in Charlotte got a lot
- 37:34Speaker 1: of suffre bill Lei's.
- 37:35Speaker 2: In Charlotte is high too.
- 37:37Speaker 1: The bill's high everywhere, man, Charleston higher than Charlotte really,
- 37:42Speaker 1: absolutely for sure.
- 37:44Speaker 4: Rent I say that though, because it's like a tourist city,
- 37:47Speaker 4: so they go.
- 37:48Speaker 2: In the beach.
- 37:49Speaker 4: Yeah, yes, yeah, I could see that.
- 37:51Speaker 2: It's stupid.
- 37:52Speaker 1: And then a lot of people they moved down with
- 37:54Speaker 1: their tech jobs working from home. They moved from New
- 37:57Speaker 1: York where you're paying like five thousand dollars for a
- 37:59Speaker 1: low ass. Now you can come down here and get
- 38:01Speaker 1: a baby mansion, you know, in Charleston, which is still
- 38:05Speaker 1: it's high for us. So they're now boosting up the
- 38:07Speaker 1: cost of living essentially because now they're catering to a different,
- 38:10Speaker 1: different demographic.
- 38:11Speaker 2: Of people that's trumping in town. So it's terrible. Yeah,
- 38:14Speaker 2: So I know you help people get into tech, Like, well,
- 38:17Speaker 2: how do you go about doing that? Like what's up?
- 38:19Speaker 6: Well, really, I feel like a lot of people think
- 38:21Speaker 6: like you have to be a nerd, you have to
- 38:22Speaker 6: be super smart, you have to be super techy, and
- 38:24Speaker 6: that's just really not the case. There's a lot of
- 38:26Speaker 6: roles that are not You don't even have to really
- 38:29Speaker 6: know a lot of tech, you know, you just got
- 38:31Speaker 6: to know how to really talk to people. So like,
- 38:34Speaker 6: for me, I'm a business analyst, Like that's what I do.
- 38:37Speaker 4: I just talk to.
- 38:37Speaker 6: People in game requirements. So I feel like the main
- 38:41Speaker 6: thing that you need to know is how can you
- 38:43Speaker 6: tailor your skills, whether you come from like customer service,
- 38:47Speaker 6: whether you come from being on a podcast, Like, how
- 38:50Speaker 6: can you tailor your skills to fit into tech? So
- 38:52Speaker 6: that's kind of what I do. I just kind of
- 38:54Speaker 6: like get your resume and say, let's fix it. That's
- 38:58Speaker 6: tailor your skills to tech. Oh, you were on the phone,
- 39:00Speaker 6: you talked to people. Oh, you analyzed and looked at reports.
- 39:03Speaker 4: So that you're an analyst.
- 39:05Speaker 6: They're not trying to pay you analyst money, right, and
- 39:08Speaker 6: you know they're trying to say you still customer service,
- 39:11Speaker 6: but you literally know them systems like the back of
- 39:13Speaker 6: your hand.
- 39:13Speaker 4: You an analyst. Let's fix those things.
- 39:15Speaker 6: Let's fix those titles and that's really fixed the resume
- 39:18Speaker 6: to taylor what you already be doing. And so once
- 39:22Speaker 6: you do that, they're like, oh snip, I didn't know
- 39:24Speaker 6: like I could do that. That's really what it's about,
- 39:26Speaker 6: just learning your skills.
- 39:27Speaker 2: I saw this.
- 39:28Speaker 1: Little sneaky thing on YouTube one where this guy he
- 39:31Speaker 1: basically took the description from the job and y'all can
- 39:34Speaker 1: try this, try.
- 39:34Speaker 3: And see if it works.
- 39:35Speaker 1: He took the description from the job, so now you
- 39:38Speaker 1: know your resume is white sheet, black paper, black letters.
- 39:42Speaker 1: He took the description from the job and he copied
- 39:46Speaker 1: and paste onto his resume, but made it really small
- 39:48Speaker 1: and white so it would be blending in with the
- 39:50Speaker 1: white part of the page. And then that way, because
- 39:53Speaker 1: now what they're using to select candidates for jobs, they're
- 39:58Speaker 1: using AI. Yeah, so there's scared. They're not a hiring
- 40:01Speaker 1: managers not looking at every single resume. They're looking for
- 40:05Speaker 1: the things that the AI is looking for, the things
- 40:07Speaker 1: that match the description of the job. So even if
- 40:10Speaker 1: you're a resume, like you literally got to tell your
- 40:12Speaker 1: resume for whatever position you're looking for, right, whatever position
- 40:16Speaker 1: you're applying for. But he put it like real small,
- 40:18Speaker 1: so in that way.
- 40:19Speaker 4: Like AI exactly exactly.
- 40:24Speaker 1: And if you black, make sure you put white.
- 40:26Speaker 3: Ye, make sure you put white on your resume.
- 40:31Speaker 4: I mean you know an application that person yes, and.
- 40:36Speaker 2: Then show it black. Yep, I'll called that.
- 40:37Speaker 1: Black because they got And so this is why people
- 40:43Speaker 1: be so mad about the Affirmative Action ship right, like
- 40:45Speaker 1: or them taking out the the DEI stuff.
- 40:50Speaker 4: It is.
- 40:50Speaker 1: It causes some type of like when you have to
- 40:53Speaker 1: meet a quota as a corporation, like we got to
- 40:56Speaker 1: have a certain amount of black people, a certain amount
- 40:57Speaker 1: of white people, certain amount of women, a certain amount
- 40:59Speaker 1: of you with with uh handicap and all this different things.
- 41:05Speaker 1: What if they already met their quota for a black
- 41:07Speaker 1: woman mm hmm, we already know it's probably the small
- 41:10Speaker 1: in comparison to who's actually being hired. So d I
- 41:13Speaker 1: isn't helping black women really, right? So yeah, if you
- 41:16Speaker 1: a black woman, put waite or don't answer.
- 41:20Speaker 2: It's not Rachel Dozel on your way to the top.
- 41:23Speaker 4: I mean you had.
- 41:27Speaker 2: You have to you play the system, man. So what
- 41:36Speaker 2: is it like dating as a high earning black woman though?
- 41:40Speaker 6: I mean it's just like any other role, Like no,
- 41:43Speaker 6: whether if you're a nurse or you work at McDonald's.
- 41:46Speaker 4: These men ain't shit. Was that on a spreadsheet? Was
- 41:51Speaker 4: that on Excel?
- 41:54Speaker 2: Did you do a B look up for that? Not?
- 41:57Speaker 4: This is a I talking right. No, Yeah, the man
- 42:03Speaker 4: a't ship. But I just feel like when you have
- 42:07Speaker 4: your own money, like in.
- 42:08Speaker 6: This generation of like Chicken Nigga, get a man, I
- 42:12Speaker 6: can say that, right, you should.
- 42:13Speaker 2: Say whatever you want watching you.
- 42:16Speaker 6: I'm just saying when you're in that whole like mina
- 42:19Speaker 6: frame like you, and you're dealing with a woman with money,
- 42:22Speaker 6: you're dealing with a high caliber woman.
- 42:24Speaker 4: So you have to come correct.
- 42:26Speaker 6: So as a tech person, you just kind of got
- 42:28Speaker 6: to separate the real men from the fakes.
- 42:32Speaker 4: And learn to deal with high caliber men. You can't
- 42:35Speaker 4: go for the.
- 42:35Speaker 6: Drug dealers because that's what you like you, because they're
- 42:39Speaker 6: not gonna understand you, you know what I'm saying.
- 42:42Speaker 3: So, girl, you ain't telling me shit.
- 42:45Speaker 4: You got her own for the ones that and that's
- 42:47Speaker 4: what they say.
- 42:48Speaker 3: I am a drug dealer at heart, thoats.
- 42:49Speaker 2: You see, that's the problem.
- 42:50Speaker 4: We be like real life hustler at heart. Girl.
- 42:54Speaker 5: By people are an aspect of sometimes you know what
- 43:01Speaker 5: I'm saying, until you like.
- 43:02Speaker 3: Stop selling dope.
- 43:05Speaker 4: But you just got to go for a high caliber men.
- 43:07Speaker 4: Like at the end of the day, he.
- 43:08Speaker 2: Is a high caliber man.
- 43:09Speaker 4: You know.
- 43:10Speaker 3: I think people be confused in high earning with high value.
- 43:13Speaker 6: Well both, you know what I'm saying, because they can
- 43:16Speaker 6: have I know, men that have money, but they still name.
- 43:18Speaker 4: So like, you gotta have both.
- 43:22Speaker 6: You have to know how to treat me and really
- 43:24Speaker 6: cater to me and love me with consideration if you
- 43:28Speaker 6: can't do that, because when you're dealing with a high
- 43:30Speaker 6: caliber man and you're dealing with like a man that
- 43:33Speaker 6: has money, like they don't care about the money.
- 43:36Speaker 4: They consider you for anything.
- 43:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree, And doesn't it feel good to be considered?
- 43:43Speaker 2: That's all we want? Man, go ahead, Yes it's toasty. Yes.
- 43:48Speaker 2: So outside of tech also a life coach. So what's
- 43:52Speaker 2: the difference between like life coaching and therapy?
- 43:57Speaker 4: Yeah? I love that question. That's an amazing question between.
- 44:00Speaker 6: I feel like therapy focuses mainly on like trauma, like
- 44:04Speaker 6: the things you want gone through in your past, you know,
- 44:07Speaker 6: trying to work through that so you can get out
- 44:09Speaker 6: of your own way. A life coach is that's what
- 44:11Speaker 6: they do. They help you get out of your own way.
- 44:14Speaker 6: So they're like you're a goal person. You go to
- 44:16Speaker 6: and you be like, you know what, I want to
- 44:18Speaker 6: go back to school, but I'm over assimilated. I don't
- 44:20Speaker 6: know the steps. I'm like your cheerleader. I'm like your
- 44:23Speaker 6: person that's gonna be like you're getting.
- 44:25Speaker 4: We had these we had these goals. Here's week two.
- 44:28Speaker 6: We said we was gonna be here where you at why?
- 44:31Speaker 6: And then I'm also the person that's like, basically, I'm
- 44:34Speaker 6: also the person that's gonna be like, let's go celebrate
- 44:37Speaker 6: no matter how big or little.
- 44:38Speaker 4: The win is. So I kind of feel like that's
- 44:41Speaker 4: the difference the the therapists.
- 44:42Speaker 6: They focus on your past and they can't help you
- 44:44Speaker 6: with your future because your future basically you know, you
- 44:47Speaker 6: know your past basically yes the time, all the times.
- 44:54Speaker 6: But the life coaches and what that helps you in
- 44:57Speaker 6: the present moment.
- 44:58Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, because I.
- 45:00Speaker 1: Think therapy like therapy is cool, right, but they just
- 45:02Speaker 1: give you the tools to kind of try to help
- 45:05Speaker 1: you navigate through the things right. Sometimes good, but they
- 45:10Speaker 1: just keep they just keep bringing bringing up all the
- 45:13Speaker 1: bad things.
- 45:14Speaker 2: That's what you do every.
- 45:14Speaker 1: Time they go to therapy, Like therapy like that, like
- 45:17Speaker 1: you just unpacking on somebody.
- 45:18Speaker 2: Packing old ship and sitting it on the table. That's
- 45:20Speaker 2: what I feel like. I'm just sitting it on the table.
- 45:22Speaker 2: It was down I had to bury and now we
- 45:25Speaker 2: brought it on the table, but we ain't really did
- 45:27Speaker 2: nothing with it. That's my issue with therapy. Sometimes I
- 45:30Speaker 2: feel like we're pulling it all out, but what are
- 45:33Speaker 2: we doing it?
- 45:33Speaker 3: Do they really want to heal you though? When that's
- 45:35Speaker 3: their job?
- 45:35Speaker 1: Because if everybody was healed, which healing supposted like supposedly
- 45:39Speaker 1: has a destination, right, So if they actually were to
- 45:42Speaker 1: help you heal whatever the thing is, you wouldn't need them,
- 45:46Speaker 1: just like doctors exactly.
- 45:48Speaker 3: Dermatologists recommend no.
- 45:50Speaker 6: One is God, no one can heal you like they
- 45:53Speaker 6: can help you heal, but you have to do the
- 45:56Speaker 6: work deal exactly. So when you're pulling those emotions out,
- 45:59Speaker 6: and that's what the therapist is helping you do, instead
- 46:01Speaker 6: of bearing it and then getting triggered and then wondering
- 46:04Speaker 6: why I'm this far triggered, it's like, let's go ahead
- 46:06Speaker 6: and help you get used to talking about that. So
- 46:09Speaker 6: therefore you're not staying staying in the trigger you know
- 46:13Speaker 6: how to kind of like Okay, I'm triggered, but but
- 46:14Speaker 6: I'm not, you know, instead of like staying there in
- 46:18Speaker 6: spiraling down. I feel like that's why I feel like
- 46:20Speaker 6: therapy is good. And then like the life coaching is
- 46:22Speaker 6: where it comes in and it's like.
- 46:24Speaker 4: All right, how are we healed?
- 46:26Speaker 6: Let's let's get some goals. Now, let's accomplish some things.
- 46:29Speaker 6: Now that's gonna make you even feel even more healed.
- 46:32Speaker 2: So if I come to you and I'm like, hey,
- 46:34Speaker 2: I would like a session, what would be the first
- 46:36Speaker 2: thing we would do? We just sit down and what Well,
- 46:39Speaker 2: if you want.
- 46:40Speaker 4: The session, the first thing I'm gonna do is say
- 46:41Speaker 4: why what do you? What do you? What are you
- 46:43Speaker 4: trying to accomplish?
- 46:45Speaker 6: Like, you know, that's that's the first thing, because you
- 46:47Speaker 6: I feel like you always got to know your why things?
- 46:50Speaker 6: So why what is it? What made you feel like
- 46:52Speaker 6: you needed help? What made you feel like you needed
- 46:54Speaker 6: an accountability partner? And we get to that, you know,
- 46:58Speaker 6: and once we get to that, we start going to goals,
- 47:00Speaker 6: trying to figure out what makes you happy?
- 47:03Speaker 4: What is it?
- 47:04Speaker 2: You know?
- 47:04Speaker 6: And if we don't know what that is, then we
- 47:07Speaker 6: need to sit down and unpack that a little bit.
- 47:10Speaker 2: What makes you happy? That's a hard question.
- 47:12Speaker 1: I ask people that all the time, Like once you
- 47:14Speaker 1: take away like family and money, like what really makes
- 47:17Speaker 1: you happy? Yeah?
- 47:20Speaker 2: Dicking food for me.
- 47:24Speaker 5: Yo, now food food Yeah, But for me, it's took
- 47:31Speaker 5: me a while to get here.
- 47:32Speaker 6: So I feel like, for me, like love makes me
- 47:35Speaker 6: happy because God is love, and so like long as
- 47:38Speaker 6: I have self love, I'm able to no matter how
- 47:41Speaker 6: many times I get my heart broken, continue to love again.
- 47:44Speaker 2: Yes, So that's the hard part. Yeah, because like you said,
- 47:49Speaker 2: these niggas I don't like. I don't like saying niggas
- 47:51Speaker 2: ain't shit. I don't like saying that.
- 47:52Speaker 1: You shouldn't say that for real, because if you ain't
- 47:55Speaker 1: never ran into a nigga that is shit, like kids are,
- 47:58Speaker 1: you might not be shipped, right.
- 48:00Speaker 2: So that's why the fight saying that. But I just
- 48:03Speaker 2: I have dated quite a few undesirable people in the lifetime.
- 48:08Speaker 6: I can't say you're right, you shouldn't say that that's
- 48:11Speaker 6: true because I you know, I'm dating someone that is
- 48:15Speaker 6: like really.
- 48:16Speaker 3: A great rights we just hadn't gotten to the person.
- 48:19Speaker 4: But I feel like you meet y'all.
- 48:22Speaker 2: I feel like you.
- 48:24Speaker 4: Give me who you are.
- 48:26Speaker 6: You mean who you are, so it feel like that
- 48:29Speaker 6: man ain't shit nine times out of ten.
- 48:30Speaker 4: It's something in you that.
- 48:33Speaker 1: I was just telling my homegirl because like my next relationship,
- 48:36Speaker 1: I need to be different, right. We talked about this
- 48:38Speaker 1: a little bit, but I am such a fragnizer, okay,
- 48:44Speaker 1: like like shut.
- 48:45Speaker 3: Up, no, you know I do, Like.
- 48:50Speaker 1: I just need to let everybody know, like, hey, I'm
- 48:52Speaker 1: not available. Like I don't be doing that, you know
- 48:55Speaker 1: what I'm saying. I don't really like like I be
- 48:57Speaker 1: allowing niggas to fragnize with me.
- 48:59Speaker 3: That's a problem because I kind of like it.
- 49:01Speaker 1: Okay, that's the problem, Like just still chatting up with
- 49:05Speaker 1: people you know you have no business chatting up with
- 49:08Speaker 1: and you don't really even want to fuck with them
- 49:10Speaker 1: no more.
- 49:10Speaker 2: You just so do you? Just you just like to talk.
- 49:14Speaker 1: That's the problem. How the fuck do I shut up?
- 49:18Speaker 1: I do like to talk, and sometimes you need to talk.
- 49:20Speaker 2: To different people so you enjoy a variety when I
- 49:25Speaker 2: don't think there's nothing wrong with that as long as
- 49:27Speaker 2: the conversations aren't.
- 49:29Speaker 1: But you know, these men can't be your friend, Okay,
- 49:31Speaker 1: they can't be your friend. They waiting on the male friends.
- 49:34Speaker 1: I do have male friends, right who will never you
- 49:38Speaker 1: know or some we probably you know and now we're friends.
- 49:42Speaker 1: Like that didn't didn't work. But for the most part,
- 49:46Speaker 1: even those like they will still smash you. If you
- 49:48Speaker 1: call and say, hey, you want to smash you want
- 49:51Speaker 1: to have sex, they gonna fuck you.
- 49:53Speaker 3: That's not your friend.
- 49:54Speaker 2: You see what I'm saying.
- 49:55Speaker 1: That's why men don't want their women with other men.
- 49:57Speaker 1: And I understand because these niggas ain't shit. Yeah, oh
- 50:04Speaker 1: maybe shit, because why are you even fragnizing?
- 50:07Speaker 3: Okay, see, that's what I'm working on.
- 50:08Speaker 4: I say, if we say men ain't shit, we have
- 50:10Speaker 4: to own and say is it a.
- 50:12Speaker 3: Part of me?
- 50:12Speaker 4: It's a little part.
- 50:13Speaker 3: No, it's a major part.
- 50:15Speaker 4: I realize that for sure.
- 50:17Speaker 2: But the difference is it's male friends that if they
- 50:22Speaker 2: was like, let's have sex, you're gonna say no. But
- 50:25Speaker 2: men aren't gonna say no.
- 50:26Speaker 3: That's what and that's why you're there.
- 50:28Speaker 1: You Okay, you consider them your friend, right, but they
- 50:33Speaker 1: really don't consider you their friend because they will smash you.
- 50:37Speaker 3: That's why.
- 50:38Speaker 2: No. But that's still like because you're still their friend,
- 50:41Speaker 2: they just can't fuck you.
- 50:42Speaker 3: A boy.
- 50:49Speaker 2: All right, So I'm saying, like, you have guy friends
- 50:52Speaker 2: that you if they were like, I want to have
- 50:54Speaker 2: sex with you, you'd be like, absolutely not, we're friends. But
- 50:57Speaker 2: if it was the other way around, they're gonna have
- 51:00Speaker 2: sex with you, which makes them more ain't shit than you.
- 51:03Speaker 6: I don't have nobody like that. I only have one
- 51:05Speaker 6: guy friend and he likes men.
- 51:08Speaker 4: Like I don't.
- 51:10Speaker 2: You don't have no male friends.
- 51:11Speaker 6: I have no male friends because, like you said, they're
- 51:14Speaker 6: gonna try to.
- 51:15Speaker 1: I know the men love you, girl. Nigga hate to
- 51:17Speaker 1: have my conversation. I always talk about what a nigga said, Oh.
- 51:21Speaker 2: Yeah, my homeboys such and such.
- 51:22Speaker 6: I don't have no male friends unless you like my cousin,
- 51:25Speaker 6: my brother like family.
- 51:26Speaker 4: But other than that, like I don't.
- 51:28Speaker 3: Have Okay, I have to evaluate that.
- 51:29Speaker 2: I got to get rid of all my male friends.
- 51:31Speaker 2: This is the PSA. Why is you can have friendship
- 51:34Speaker 2: with men without it being inappropriate.
- 51:37Speaker 6: They start saying I want to fuck them, they cross
- 51:39Speaker 6: the line and you gotta cut their ass off.
- 51:41Speaker 2: But they might not say that to you every They
- 51:43Speaker 2: may not say it, but you know, MoMA, you start
- 51:46Speaker 2: feeling it, you're crossing the line.
- 51:48Speaker 6: So if you don't say anything, you just continue to
- 51:50Speaker 6: allow them to say you're right now, mean.
- 51:52Speaker 2: Enough credit, y'all. Not every man don't want to fuck you,
- 51:56Speaker 2: not right now. I don't want to fuck you like
- 52:01Speaker 2: some men are your friends.
- 52:02Speaker 4: That is true, but I've never Thomas you shaking your head.
- 52:05Speaker 2: Niggas always want to fuck every time. Yes, thank you.
- 52:09Speaker 3: And that's why men don't want their women having men at.
- 52:13Speaker 2: Because men in my life that are my friends.
- 52:15Speaker 4: That did y'all start off that way?
- 52:20Speaker 3: Did I have some friend?
- 52:22Speaker 4: Some friends they make you.
- 52:23Speaker 6: Feel at some point like I could fuck them if
- 52:25Speaker 6: I wanted to, if you was to call them and
- 52:27Speaker 6: be like, I want to.
- 52:29Speaker 3: We gotta test that one day.
- 52:30Speaker 2: We gotta call our best male. I want to ruin
- 52:33Speaker 2: the friendship by doing that. That's what's gonna happen.
- 52:36Speaker 4: No happen. The's not gonna put the line down. I'm
- 52:39Speaker 4: not gonna be like all right, they're gonna laugh first.
- 52:42Speaker 2: But that's because the way men look at sex and
- 52:44Speaker 2: the way we look at sex is different. It is
- 52:46Speaker 2: more casual for them. I think you don't think so.
- 52:50Speaker 4: That's so they don't value their friendship.
- 52:51Speaker 1: They just like, oh no, I feel like we think
- 52:53Speaker 1: could be men value their friendships more than they value
- 52:57Speaker 1: like their relationships because usually like when you our guys
- 53:01Speaker 1: friend and then y'all start to start dating and then
- 53:03Speaker 1: shit start going sour, it's the friend in you he misses. Yeah,
- 53:08Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, Like the related once you
- 53:09Speaker 1: add the titles and all that shit, it just get weird.
- 53:13Speaker 2: So what you're saying, Tomas, You're saying, y'all, I'm talking
- 53:16Speaker 2: to our videographer. You're saying that I'm giving men too
- 53:19Speaker 2: much credit. Yeah, I mean, I'm.
- 53:21Speaker 4: Sure there's an exception, but general.
- 53:24Speaker 2: Time, Damn, that's crazy.
- 53:27Speaker 4: That's all. I'm got no male friends. This is my
- 53:29Speaker 4: one male friend.
- 53:31Speaker 1: I'm I'm trying to hit that. Oh no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 53:33Speaker 1: not there. I just want my guy to be my
- 53:36Speaker 1: only Yeah, that's all.
- 53:38Speaker 2: You want your guy to be your only male friend.
- 53:40Speaker 2: That's not no.
- 53:41Speaker 1: I mean, so, okay, I have mal Why the fuck
- 53:44Speaker 1: did we get here? But anyway, I have male friends
- 53:46Speaker 1: that I know we would never have sex like this
- 53:49Speaker 1: is really like a family member essentially, right.
- 53:52Speaker 3: But then I do have men that I know that
- 53:54Speaker 3: I do consider friends that I know what snash me.
- 53:59Speaker 2: Those are not my friends.
- 54:00Speaker 1: Really, I consider them my friends, but they wait on
- 54:04Speaker 1: me to let them smash get drunk.
- 54:09Speaker 3: I'm drunk. They a'nna never get no drunk.
- 54:13Speaker 4: Look if it works out, well that's why we sweat.
- 54:17Speaker 4: And first of all, take one more girl. I'm down.
- 54:22Speaker 3: When this fucking wig starts, slide back.
- 54:23Speaker 2: I know something. Listen, it's okay, it'll be fine. Ask
- 54:27Speaker 2: me your coach. Ladies. Damn, So my friends not my friends.
- 54:32Speaker 3: They are not your friends.
- 54:33Speaker 2: Okay.
- 54:36Speaker 1: The only friend you got we had on we had
- 54:38Speaker 1: on our last episode. Terry's the only one boy you got. Yes,
- 54:44Speaker 1: the only stand up guy you're gonna meet for real,
- 54:47Speaker 1: and I don't know, he might still smash your ass.
- 54:53Speaker 4: One night. Everybody.
- 54:57Speaker 2: I don't think that. I think I think.
- 54:59Speaker 1: There's guy me and Terry, but friends his first grade girl.
- 55:04Speaker 2: Have integrity and they would be like, no, I don't
- 55:07Speaker 2: want to ruin our friendship.
- 55:08Speaker 6: Some will and if they do that, I just never
- 55:11Speaker 6: ran into a guy that is like that, unless he's
- 55:14Speaker 6: married or something and he's very com what about you,
- 55:16Speaker 6: you know? But again, like I don't have male friends.
- 55:21Speaker 6: You never did like not like that.
- 55:23Speaker 2: No, No, talking about Yeah, let's okay, all right, cheers,
- 55:30Speaker 2: cheers to not fucking your male friends. Okay.
- 55:38Speaker 1: So you know, one of the things that the men
- 55:42Speaker 1: the internet men, the men of the Internet complain about
- 55:45Speaker 1: is the Internet.
- 55:50Speaker 3: You're a fuck rad pill, it's the Internet.
- 55:52Speaker 4: Internet, Okay.
- 55:54Speaker 1: They complain about like women with the degrees, talking about
- 55:58Speaker 1: degrees and how much money they make and all this stuff,
- 56:01Speaker 1: and they like, they don't care about it, right, But
- 56:03Speaker 1: how do how do you help women like separate themselves
- 56:07Speaker 1: from these job titles?
- 56:08Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying?
- 56:09Speaker 4: Yeah, well, yeah, again that's.
- 56:13Speaker 3: Men say that can not really help them. But you
- 56:15Speaker 3: know what I mean, just like life.
- 56:16Speaker 4: Coach them to it.
- 56:18Speaker 6: Men say they don't care, but they very much want
- 56:21Speaker 6: to be attached to a bad girl, like a woman
- 56:23Speaker 6: they look good, got hurt, e e, you know, independent,
- 56:27Speaker 6: They very much want to be attached you know what
- 56:29Speaker 6: I'm saying. Like, so you have to recognize that as
- 56:32Speaker 6: a woman that makes money, like, they want to.
- 56:35Speaker 4: Be attached just like you want to be attached to
- 56:37Speaker 4: a high valued man.
- 56:40Speaker 6: They want to be attached to a high valued woman
- 56:42Speaker 6: because it makes them look good.
- 56:43Speaker 4: They have ego to just like you.
- 56:45Speaker 6: So you have to understand to recognize that and just realize,
- 56:48Speaker 6: like are they borderline trying to like attach yourself to
- 56:51Speaker 6: you and use you because that's what meles men do.
- 56:55Speaker 3: Now I'm more so talking about like women, not even
- 56:58Speaker 3: talking about men.
- 56:59Speaker 1: It's like women going out into the world being their
- 57:03Speaker 1: titles and degrees.
- 57:04Speaker 6: I don't agree with that because I feel like you're
- 57:06Speaker 6: so much more than that, And I like even with tech,
- 57:11Speaker 6: like I cater to people who don't have a degree.
- 57:13Speaker 4: You can still get in text are really yeah, So
- 57:17Speaker 4: I cater.
- 57:18Speaker 6: To that, Like, don't get so attached to the your
- 57:21Speaker 6: I mean agree, that's an accomplishment.
- 57:22Speaker 4: You did your thing right, but don't get so attached
- 57:26Speaker 4: to that that's all you really have to offer, because
- 57:29Speaker 4: you take.
- 57:30Speaker 6: That away that you're boring, Like what else do you
- 57:32Speaker 6: bring to the table, Like are you funny?
- 57:36Speaker 4: Can you make me laugh?
- 57:37Speaker 1: Like you know, girls can be lame too. I don't
- 57:40Speaker 1: think women realize they can be lean. They can just
- 57:43Speaker 1: be lean, Like it's just like all you work and
- 57:47Speaker 1: you just you don't spit on it, like you.
- 57:51Speaker 6: Just you don't got no you don't got no jazz,
- 57:54Speaker 6: You don't get a little drunk and pass out nothing stick.
- 57:57Speaker 2: Why so you're thinking that women are becoming successful and
- 58:05Speaker 2: that becomes their identity as you're.
- 58:07Speaker 1: Saying, yeah, and that's what the men are talking about,
- 58:09Speaker 1: which I can understand. You know, I have met some
- 58:11Speaker 1: extra snooty bitches and I'm like, really, bitch, your foot
- 58:14Speaker 1: look bad, Like you shouldn't even be acting like that.
- 58:19Speaker 6: But my dad he's always like, brought that cinero me, Like,
- 58:23Speaker 6: regardless of what you are, whether you're a nurse or
- 58:25Speaker 6: whether you're a tech, you're just great at that at nursing, right,
- 58:30Speaker 6: but there's so much more to life than that. You're
- 58:32Speaker 6: just great at tech. But it's so much more like
- 58:36Speaker 6: than that.
- 58:36Speaker 2: But sometimes people find their validation through their hard work
- 58:40Speaker 2: and their achievements.
- 58:41Speaker 6: Okay, so what happens when you go to the bottom
- 58:44Speaker 6: and get to the bottom and God ships you of
- 58:45Speaker 6: all that?
- 58:46Speaker 4: Because that happened to me period.
- 58:48Speaker 6: I lost my job for seven months and I couldn't
- 58:50Speaker 6: lean on the title.
- 58:51Speaker 4: So what you're gonna do then?
- 58:53Speaker 2: Right?
- 58:53Speaker 4: You got to know who you are outside of that exactly.
- 58:57Speaker 2: But I can understand how if my if I was doctor,
- 59:01Speaker 2: where that might be like something I don't want.
- 59:04Speaker 1: I hate talking to doctors. I just can't stand it,
- 59:08Speaker 1: except for one. One of my best friends is a
- 59:10Speaker 1: she's a psychologist. Like that's a little bit different. But like,
- 59:15Speaker 1: y'all don't know everything because this book, like first of all,
- 59:18Speaker 1: this this this this whole medical system is based off
- 59:22Speaker 1: some bullshit, you know what I'm saying. I lean more
- 59:24Speaker 1: towards like herbal medicine and things like that, which a
- 59:26Speaker 1: lot of the pharmaceutical stuff have in it.
- 59:29Speaker 3: But it's like the doctors think.
- 59:32Speaker 1: That they know everything and that doesn't necessarily have to
- 59:37Speaker 1: be a medical doctor.
- 59:38Speaker 2: Just anybody with m D trust a doctor who act
- 59:42Speaker 2: like they didn't know ship.
- 59:43Speaker 1: Though a lot of them do act like they know
- 59:46Speaker 1: stuff and they don't like they literally googling some ship
- 59:48Speaker 1: just like they don't tell you.
- 59:50Speaker 2: Would you go to a doctor and they was like,
- 59:52Speaker 2: and they're not confident, would you want that to be
- 59:54Speaker 2: your doctor? Like we go see, I know I was
- 59:58Speaker 2: a little bit.
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: Talking like that.
- 1:00:04Speaker 6: That's a difference between being like confident and then just
- 1:00:07Speaker 6: not being humble, like being asshole, being a bitch, thinking
- 1:00:10Speaker 6: you're like arrogant. There's a difference between that and so
- 1:00:13Speaker 6: like you just gotta know how to like, you.
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: Know, be human.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: A lot of doctors I feel are on the spectrum
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: like they really don't have No, they really don't have
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: like the social skills, you know what I'm saying, because
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: the decisions that they have to make, they literally make
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: life and death decisions a lot of times, like they
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: and they're playing God, not really necessarily playing God, but
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: if somebody's time to go, they gotta disconnect themselves from
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: that incident, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: So a lot of them.
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: Don't have empathy. I feel like they they lose it.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I think they're in those positions because they never
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: had it though.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: No, no, no, al right, So listen, my sister used
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: to work in the medical field, my older sister. When
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: she joined the military, they had her working in the
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: hospital and noting find families. The family was their party,
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: and then she had to talk to them and do something.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: I couldn't do it.
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: I couldn't do that.
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: And she said, like, for the first year of her
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: military career, she cried every day.
- 1:01:09Speaker 4: Yeah, I would have.
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: She couldn't handle it. It was a lot, you know,
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: it was emotional every day. And then after the first
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: year was over, it's just like far for the course,
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: it's just like the job. It's the job. So it's
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: like she kind of lost the empathy that she had
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: because it was just so similar to school shootings. Remember
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: the first time we had a school shooting and how
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: we was like, I can't believe this. I can't children.
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: Now we have a school shooting, we'd be like, damn,
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: that's crazy. It's the same shit. We not even we
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: lose it after if it keeps happening. It's you know,
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: it's possible to lose that empathy.
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: You just got. You just can't have a god complex.
- 1:01:49Speaker 6: And a lot of them have a god complex, like
- 1:01:50Speaker 6: cause you kind of feel like you got because you're
- 1:01:52Speaker 6: saving lives, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: But you're not, and that's what you have to work on.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: Yeah, because I had one of my MD friends tell
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: me some people just need to die, that's to be said.
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: Some people just need to.
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: Die, like you know, like the families be wanting to
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: keep them, but really it's time to go.
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: Yeah, well that's true, because.
- 1:02:07Speaker 4: We all die.
- 1:02:09Speaker 6: I can see that because that is true, Like, why
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: would I just be sitting here keeping this person comfortable?
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: Did y'all see that?
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: Story with the in Georgia, them keeping this girl, thirty
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: one year old nurse who something happened during her pregnancy
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: and she ended up brain dead and they kept her
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: pregnant to have this baby. Yes, the family wanted to execute,
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: like they want to take her off of life support
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: and then just let her and the baby go on.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: But the state of Georgia like, she's just the cane
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: with this baby growing and now I think the baby's
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: like paralyzed.
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: It's not, it's just not even why did y'all do this?
- 1:02:42Speaker 4: So sad? I hate that and they used her as
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: an experiment and.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: I just yes, yes, and to prove of like a
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: point with the with the abortion stuff, Yo, that's nasty
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: And that's not even an abortion essentially.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: Because she's not even really alive essentially, right, but the baby.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: So the whole thing with that is that the life
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: versus choices, that the baby should have a choice. Essentially,
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: the baby is now a person itself without the mother exactly.
- 1:03:06Speaker 6: That's why we et, that's what we're doing exactly.
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: And that's definitely playing God exactly.
- 1:03:12Speaker 4: That's what I mean. God complex sad, nasty core work.
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: Yeah, well listen, if anything happened to me. Look into
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: the camera, keep.
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: Me here as long as I'm out of here, deuces.
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: I'm not back up. I'm gonna come back. I'm gonna
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: come back next time.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: I might come back as me the next time, but
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: I do not want to be alive and suffering, Absolutely not.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: I'm not afraid to die yet. I'm getting the fun
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: up out of here. I'll see yall niggas next time
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: because this shit is get Oh, I would.
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: Be back outside.
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: Just give us a guy.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: So we got social media, we got Instagram, all those
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: things like how do you reprogram your inner algorithm as
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: a black woman in tech?
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: Oh, take a break, get off of social vacation.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: You know, they say Americans take the least amount of
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: vacation and out of everybody in the world.
- 1:04:08Speaker 6: Take a break and then also learn how like when
- 1:04:10Speaker 6: you take a break to literally deactivate your social media,
- 1:04:13Speaker 6: like we are so tied to ours.
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: I be trying, like we don't even know how to
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: live in a moment.
- 1:04:18Speaker 6: We taking a we in the moment, taking a picture
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: of the moment and not even living the moment.
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: I can live in the moment. I don't take pictures
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: like I'm me neither. Like, honestly, me and AJ don't
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: do it enough.
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: Like every meeting we had they were like, can y'all
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: be more active on social media? And we'll be like yeah,
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: and then we be You're gonna do it this time.
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: It's just not my couple of teams. So I'm an
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: older millennial or I'm just not are you? Honestly, I
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: am thirty older millennial, so I'm just not tied to
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: my I am tied to my phone, but not in
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: a way where I just want to share every meal
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: I've had, every moment. If we're out doing something fun,
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: I'm not the girl taking pictures. I'd be like, send
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: me those pictures, yeah, when you're done. Yeah.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: The younger girlies, I mean they editing at the table,
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: at the dinner table, like they editing like all day long,
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: Like they're actually real time doing this content like real exactly.
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: But are they living because it looks like you are
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: you really living? Are you just a walking Truman show?
- 1:05:28Speaker 4: Well I can't.
- 1:05:30Speaker 6: Speak for any of them, but it's like a combination
- 1:05:32Speaker 6: of both. For me, it's like, all right, I'm living
- 1:05:34Speaker 6: in this moody.
- 1:05:35Speaker 4: Oh, let me.
- 1:05:35Speaker 6: Remember to take a picture of this I mean, you
- 1:05:38Speaker 6: do what I naturally do a little video, a little
- 1:05:41Speaker 6: one too, and then I could put it together and
- 1:05:43Speaker 6: it's gonna appear like I'm living you know what I'm saying.
- 1:05:45Speaker 4: But it is some people today they on the ground
- 1:05:48Speaker 4: with it. They's getting all the.
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: The boyfriends know how to do it?
- 1:05:51Speaker 4: Now, how to do they ain't even dating their boyfriend.
- 1:05:54Speaker 5: The boyfriend literally just a videographer. What's your wife Instagram? Right,
- 1:06:08Speaker 5: your videographer?
- 1:06:13Speaker 4: Those pictures turned out good?
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: That Like, who the hell is living with dj mvy
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: to do that ship all day?
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: No?
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: Literally? Yeah, literally, that's great.
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: Sorry, What advice would you give to anybody that's like
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: either pivoting from another field and wants to get in
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: tech but isn't like tech savvy? Do it?
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: Like I said, anything can be tailored to tech.
- 1:06:37Speaker 6: I know nurses that have hit me like, hey, I'm
- 1:06:41Speaker 6: going to book a session with you because I'm tired
- 1:06:42Speaker 6: of standing on my feet for eight hours. And that's
- 1:06:44Speaker 6: fine because you can get in and be a scrum
- 1:06:46Speaker 6: master for health care. You could be a business analyst
- 1:06:49Speaker 6: for healthcare.
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: Yeah. People.
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: One of my friends she's like a administrative healthcare.
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: Yeah, so it's definitely tech.
- 1:06:56Speaker 6: Yeah, it's definitely tech. So anything everything is tech. If
- 1:06:59Speaker 6: you use a computer, it's some way some.
- 1:07:01Speaker 4: Texts there And that's why you cancel me out right
- 1:07:04Speaker 4: your phone. You don't know what's going on? Hold what setting?
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: And who the fuck are you saying that to?
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: Girl?
- 1:07:19Speaker 4: I ain't never heard no white person say you bet you?
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: They say they say like unless they just be a face.
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: To Rodgers that like, can you get back to me
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: before four? You bet you?
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: Got you? You know what? I want to use that
- 1:07:33Speaker 4: on Monday?
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: Hold on.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: When when somebody's sending you something and it says a
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: S A P. What does that mean to you? Like
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: when though possible? Like whin though like right now?
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: It means immediately or whenever you can get it done?
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: I mean I mean actually the send the acronym name.
- 1:07:49Speaker 4: Okay, like for me because I'm a procrastinator I used
- 1:07:53Speaker 4: to be. I'm recovering mm hmm.
- 1:07:54Speaker 6: I gotta do that ship right now because if I don't,
- 1:07:57Speaker 6: then I'm gonna be in a procrastinator. And I'm a
- 1:07:59Speaker 6: the that they a SAP means tomorrow and they really.
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: Meant right now right, so tell me.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: And I tried to explain this to her, because in
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: the corporate world, if I get an email, if I.
- 1:08:09Speaker 3: Send somebody some ship and I said I need this
- 1:08:11Speaker 3: ace app, I need you to do it right now.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: So now if I put as soon as possible written out,
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: it's a little different.
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: So okay me and her. I send her a message
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: like I need this ASAPA. I'm busy.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: All yeah, I just put that was my tone is
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: via text? Baby, why are you putting that tone behind?
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: That's how I heard it.
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: I said I can't do nothing. I said, I can't
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: do it. I can't do nothing else asap right now.
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: No, you said you know I'm working, you know I
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: got a job or something like that. That's how you
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: said it. I'm like, I.
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: Said, you know that, I know you know I'm working.
- 1:08:49Speaker 3: I can't do this as app.
- 1:08:51Speaker 6: Yeah, well it was the it was the all caps
- 1:08:54Speaker 6: for me. That's why you probably felt like she came
- 1:08:57Speaker 6: into like that, because she probably felt like.
- 1:08:59Speaker 4: I'll like you yelling like.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: So if you send an email in the corporate world
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: with some all at me and I'm about.
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: To capitalized by itself when you put it in there,
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: it just got big and I sent you and then
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: she was like, I know you know that, I know.
- 1:09:16Speaker 3: It wasn't That wasn't the first message, ten B.
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: That wasn't the first message, multiple it was a slew
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: of messages and then that was the last one. So
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: now I got all these tasks to do on top
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: of what I'm currently doing. It has nothing to do
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: with her.
- 1:09:30Speaker 3: On this podcast.
- 1:09:31Speaker 4: How did that make you feel? Absolutely? That's why you
- 1:09:34Speaker 4: said it absolutely.
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: So I'm supposed to know that this hall call that
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: we are called instead been talking about this is stuff
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: that we already had to do instead of texting.
- 1:09:47Speaker 6: Okay, so maybe you could have just or helped me,
- 1:09:50Speaker 6: You could have positioned the text a little bit better.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: And that's like, hey, do you think you can actually
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: just needed to be said that you think you can
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: do that?
- 1:09:58Speaker 4: We all working?
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: Why do I need to?
- 1:10:00Speaker 4: But maybe you just need to say that because.
- 1:10:02Speaker 3: I wouldn't send you a SAP ever, because I know
- 1:10:05Speaker 3: you're working.
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: But what's the difference. I don't see all. I get
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: what you're saying, but no, like it's just as soon
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: as you're possible. That means as soon as possible, So
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: when it's possible, send it.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: What I'm trying to get you to see is like
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: the perspective and the difference and why people read things,
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: especially via text.
- 1:10:24Speaker 3: Even when you send an email, I.
- 1:10:26Speaker 4: Don't really like I don't really like that text, and shit,
- 1:10:28Speaker 4: I ain't gonna lie. I'm a caller. Yeah, I want
- 1:10:30Speaker 4: to talk.
- 1:10:30Speaker 3: I want to talk.
- 1:10:31Speaker 6: Because like, as being an overthinker, you can overthink yourself
- 1:10:37Speaker 6: into someone like, oh she got an attitude or and.
- 1:10:39Speaker 4: That might not even be a tone.
- 1:10:40Speaker 6: And I fell out with a person because they thought
- 1:10:43Speaker 6: I had an attitude be a text and I didn't
- 1:10:45Speaker 6: even think.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: And that's why I be saying don't text, because we
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: be having all like this is a whole nother thing.
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: We have all type of little wearshit going on via text.
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: But if we could just talk.
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: Yeah, but I understand that. But so I get like,
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: I got a million moving parts. I'm in school, I'm
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: traveling from place to place, I'm doing here, doing the podcast.
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: I don't have time to talk to you all the time.
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: But if I could just send a message, what's the
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: difference between an email and a text? Texting?
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: If you got something, if it's real important, if it's
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: real pertinent, you pick up the phone and said it
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: cannot be that important. You gotta have plenty time to
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: sit and text a paragraph. I an't got time to
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: text a bag.
- 1:11:24Speaker 6: My thing is I just kind of feel like it's
- 1:11:26Speaker 6: about the person. Everyone's different. So she's basically telling you
- 1:11:29Speaker 6: that her her communications staff is to call her.
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: Yeah, after that, I argued about that. After we argued
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: about it, Now she wants to call her texting for
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: five years.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: She can find a text from five years ago. Whell
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: I told her to stop texting me. I know you
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: can five years ago, I said, Tammy, if it's business,
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: please call me.
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: I bet you find find it.
- 1:11:51Speaker 4: Who girl, you know what?
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: I google Google the other day. I'm gonna tell you.
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: After we finished recording.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: Anyway, we all wrap it up anyway, So we got
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: a segment and we talked back cause dumbitch stories or
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: for the men, it is DESCEMP series. So you have
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: to give us a time or a moment where you
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: got played by I mean opposite sex. I assume you're heterosexual.
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: I don't know. Yes, you know millennials.
- 1:12:12Speaker 6: I got it's been a time, and it been a
- 1:12:14Speaker 6: time to be alive. But the most one I feel
- 1:12:18Speaker 6: when the man he tried to money manipulate me, meaning
- 1:12:24Speaker 6: like he was trying to use me but like giving
- 1:12:27Speaker 6: me like he was homeless, a little bit like sad
- 1:12:30Speaker 6: story like I need I need a move in with you,
- 1:12:32Speaker 6: I need help with this, and we're dating and at
- 1:12:35Speaker 6: first he came off shown like you know, he was
- 1:12:37Speaker 6: that man, he had it together. But then the representative
- 1:12:40Speaker 6: fell off and he showed his true colors and then
- 1:12:43Speaker 6: he kind of like did like this little sip ass story.
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: And me being the person, I am like, oh okay,
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: this could be my husband.
- 1:12:51Speaker 3: Let me help my husband, Let me help.
- 1:12:53Speaker 6: Girl a good man, Savannah, let me help my husband.
- 1:12:58Speaker 6: I did that, and then I realized, this is what
- 1:13:01Speaker 6: the fuck you do?
- 1:13:03Speaker 4: You do this to every bitch.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: So he's a hobosexulator money You were giving him a
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: lot of money.
- 1:13:12Speaker 6: No, I wasn't like giving him a lot of money,
- 1:13:14Speaker 6: but like when I say a money manipulator, meaning like
- 1:13:17Speaker 6: I don't know if you ever be one date, but
- 1:13:18Speaker 6: have you ever went on a date and the guy
- 1:13:22Speaker 6: orders for you, like and that's fine if you order
- 1:13:26Speaker 6: for me, right, but it's kind of like you order
- 1:13:28Speaker 6: for me because you don't want me to get an
- 1:13:30Speaker 6: expensive drink like you you have a budget and you
- 1:13:34Speaker 6: want me to stay within your budget.
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: That I don't like people to order for me. That
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: piss me off real fast.
- 1:13:41Speaker 4: And so that's what I mean by money manipulation. Because
- 1:13:43Speaker 4: then when we leave and.
- 1:13:44Speaker 6: I was like, oh, I wanted to order the drink,
- 1:13:45Speaker 6: you kind of said, oh yeah, you tell me, Oh
- 1:13:48Speaker 6: why I had a budget? Why the fuck did you
- 1:13:50Speaker 6: take me on a date? And if you if you
- 1:13:53Speaker 6: had a budget, that's fine. Why didn't you say that
- 1:13:55Speaker 6: from the beginning. While we get there and the waitress
- 1:13:58Speaker 6: is right there and she's like, oh, what do you
- 1:14:00Speaker 6: want to order?
- 1:14:01Speaker 4: Oh, she'll have a Bahama Mama.
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: She's gonna have that.
- 1:14:04Speaker 4: That's a lift, nigga. I want to patrol.
- 1:14:10Speaker 6: I want some can order me a Bahama Mama five dollars.
- 1:14:19Speaker 3: On a special special So you ain't dat niggas to
- 1:14:22Speaker 3: use groupons.
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: I presume, okay, got it.
- 1:14:24Speaker 4: That's the money manipulation part.
- 1:14:26Speaker 2: Hmm. I don't know.
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: I just feel like he stole wants today and he
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: doesn't really have the money to do so. But you
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: do need money to be outside, Like outside, it is
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: expensive soon as you step your foot out there.
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: One hundred dollars a couple more inches.
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: Two hundred dollars, Like it's expensive to be outside and today,
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: either if.
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: You can't be, if you can't spend money, be creative.
- 1:14:47Speaker 6: That's what I say, exactly, Like you could have just
- 1:14:49Speaker 6: been like you could have got you a bottle of
- 1:14:50Speaker 6: wine and said, hey, let's go to a park, let's
- 1:14:52Speaker 6: have a picnic.
- 1:14:53Speaker 4: But you decided to take me to this this lounge.
- 1:14:57Speaker 4: We ain't here.
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: You can't spend no money.
- 1:15:00Speaker 4: Don't you go ask me if I want.
- 1:15:01Speaker 6: To assume you won't know I want a hookah. I
- 1:15:04Speaker 6: don't even don't know hookah, but I'll say you I'm glad,
- 1:15:09Speaker 6: I'm not a man, but just don't even smoke cooker.
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: Just get hookah because the nigga paid for it.
- 1:15:14Speaker 5: I like cooker, I like, I don't like hookah, but like.
- 1:15:20Speaker 4: Most men won't hookah themselves, So.
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: Like you're nothing hookah?
- 1:15:23Speaker 4: Daddy?
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: Is this guy?
- 1:15:28Speaker 6: I just basically told him he doesn't like he doesn't
- 1:15:31Speaker 6: have enough money to date me right now and you
- 1:15:33Speaker 6: have to get your priority straight. And he was like
- 1:15:36Speaker 6: hell when I gave him the example of us going out,
- 1:15:38Speaker 6: and I was just like, I kind of feel.
- 1:15:39Speaker 4: Like you were, you're too afraid.
- 1:15:42Speaker 6: I'd rather you be standing up with me and be
- 1:15:44Speaker 6: real and say, look, I'm wanna budget right now, whatever
- 1:15:47Speaker 6: the case may be, and be more creative. And I
- 1:15:51Speaker 6: was just like, you don't have that for me right now.
- 1:15:52Speaker 6: And I'm dating high value men because I'm a high
- 1:15:54Speaker 6: value woman, and I blocked his ass up today.
- 1:15:57Speaker 4: It's nothing else for us to talk about.
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: What else, nig it's gonna be mad about that statement
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: though all they Yeah, they're gonna be like because I
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: feel like guys are always they feel like they're only
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: validated through their pocket.
- 1:16:08Speaker 3: Well they're not.
- 1:16:09Speaker 6: Just say though, you could have communicated. That's the part
- 1:16:14Speaker 6: for me. You did not communicate what You didn't have
- 1:16:16Speaker 6: to give me your whole life.
- 1:16:18Speaker 4: Story, what's going on, But you could have.
- 1:16:20Speaker 6: Literally, I respect a man that says, hey, this is
- 1:16:22Speaker 6: our budget for the day, like this is where I'm
- 1:16:24Speaker 6: at with it?
- 1:16:25Speaker 4: Okay, great?
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: And if he said we got sixty five dollars, you're
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: gonna be like.
- 1:16:30Speaker 6: She It's just you can be creative with sixty five
- 1:16:35Speaker 6: dollars if it's a creative date.
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: No, I agree, But I think a lot of men
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: are laved by ego and they don't want to admit
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: that they ain't got it, and then then.
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: They have to get over the ego because that's where
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: repair comes in. That's where change comes in. Right, put
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: your ego to the side and fix your fucking life.
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: It's not like having to look at your woman in
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: the face and be.
- 1:16:53Speaker 4: Like look, but then you get the girl.
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: They will never hold on baby looking me. You gotta
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: get these bahama mamas. I'm gonna get you too, okay,
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: two for five.
- 1:17:02Speaker 4: If you would have set the tone, been like okay.
- 1:17:06Speaker 4: But if you ain't set this tone, you.
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: Know you lead.
- 1:17:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: I didn't been out with a guy before, and I
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: just saw how he looked at the receipt and I
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: just put money on the table and then just don't.
- 1:17:17Speaker 3: Talk to them.
- 1:17:17Speaker 4: Yeah, because that's just yeah, Like.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: Nigga, you just pay for this whole thing and get
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: up out of here because I don't need.
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: No man fretting over the bill.
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: I do too, but don't you gotta get listen. Women
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: come with the money. They come with the money.
- 1:17:31Speaker 3: It's just true.
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: And then you you'll then have access to the woman
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: you actually want because a lot of times these guys
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: be settling for who they got because that's where their
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: pocket's at. Right, then she don't expect much exactly right,
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: But then they want women who have who have expectations
