- 0:00Thank you for joining us today on Voices of Life,
- 0:05a ministry of the Church for Life. Freedom is
- 0:09a gift from God, but it is also a calling. Galatians
- 0:155 1 tells us that Christ sets us free so we can
- 0:20stand firm and live with purpose. As America
- 0:26steps beyond her 250th year, We carry a responsibility.
- 0:32The work of liberty is not finished. It's in
- 0:36every home, every community, and every heart
- 0:40that seeks God's truth. Here is your host, Pastor
- 0:46David. I'm Pastor David. Thank you for joining
- 0:52us in Voices of Life. And today we look deeper
- 0:55into what freedom really means, not just as a
- 0:58nation, but as the people called to live in the
- 1:02liberty Christ provides. This is week two, and
- 1:06this is the unfinished work of liberty. Let's
- 1:11walk into today's message. Freedom is a beautiful
- 1:14word. It's a hopeful word. It is a powerful word,
- 1:18but freedom also a heavy word, heavier than most
- 1:23people realize. When America celebrated its 250th
- 1:27anniversary, We honored the gift of freedom,
- 1:30but today in week 2 we explore the responsibility
- 1:33of freedom, the unfinished work that liberty
- 1:36demands from every generation. Galatians 5 verse
- 1:401 declares, It is for freedom that Christ has
- 1:44set us free. Freedom is not an accident. Freedom
- 1:48is not a privilege. And freedom is not a convenience.
- 1:51Freedom is a calling, a divine calling. And with
- 1:55that, calling comes responsibility. Liberty is
- 1:59not something a nation achieves once and then
- 2:01keeps it forever. Liberty must be guarded. Liberty
- 2:05must be renewed. Liberty must be protected. And
- 2:08liberty must be taught. Because if you don't
- 2:12live liberty, there won't be a liberty. Every
- 2:15generation must decide whether freedom will continue
- 2:19or fade. Every generation must choose whether
- 2:21liberty will grow or decline. and every generation
- 2:24must carry the unfinished work forward. America's
- 2:29founders began the work, but they did not finish
- 2:32it. They could not finish it, because liberty
- 2:35is not a project. Liberty is a journey. And we,
- 2:39now, are the travelers through that journey.
- 2:43Freedom is not merely political or cultural or
- 2:48national. Freedom is spiritual. Christ sets us
- 2:53free so that we may live in truth, walk in righteousness,
- 2:57and serve in love. Political liberty without
- 3:01spiritual liberty becomes chaos. Cultural liberty
- 3:06without moral liberty becomes confusion. And
- 3:09national liberty without biblical liberty becomes
- 3:13corruption. Freedom must be anchored in truth,
- 3:17or it will drift. Freedom must be anchored in
- 3:20righteousness, or it will decay. freedom must
- 3:23be anchored in God or it will collapse. This
- 3:27is why the unfinished work of liberty is spiritual
- 3:31work. Every nation faces a moment when freedom
- 3:36becomes assumed, when liberty becomes expected,
- 3:41when rights become routine, and when blessings
- 3:45become background noise. And when a nation forgets
- 3:49the cost of freedom, it begins to lose the meaning
- 3:54of freedom. America is at risk of forgetting.
- 4:00Not forgetting the word freedom, but forgetting
- 4:04the weight of freedom, the sacrifices that purchased
- 4:09it, and forgetting the responsibility that sustains
- 4:13it. We have to keep the truth that protects it.
- 4:20The unfinished work of liberty begins with remembrance.
- 4:26There are so many keys in our past to our future.
- 4:30A free people must be responsible. We have to
- 4:34be a responsible people to everyone. A free nation
- 4:38must be a moral nation. A free society must be
- 4:42a principled society. Freedom without character
- 4:47becomes rebellion and freedom without virtue
- 4:50becomes selfishness. And freedom without discipline
- 4:54becomes disorder. Liberty is not the right to
- 4:59do whatever we want. Liberty is the strength
- 5:03to do what is right. Galatians 5 verse 1 is not
- 5:09a license, it is a calling. A calling to live
- 5:13as people who honor God with freedom he has given.
- 5:20The Church has always been the guardian of liberty,
- 5:23not because the Church is political, but because
- 5:25the Church is spiritual. Where the Spirit of
- 5:29the Lord is, there is a freedom. Where truth
- 5:33is preached, freedom grows. Where righteousness
- 5:36is lived, freedom strengthens. And where compassion
- 5:40is practiced, freedom expands. The church must
- 5:45teach liberty. The church must model liberty.
- 5:48The church must defend liberty. The church must
- 5:52remind the nation that freedom is a gift from
- 5:56God and a responsibility to God. This is the
- 6:00unfinished work of liberty. So when we think
- 6:04of the word freedom, we have to understand it
- 6:06is not free and it's not easy. Freedom requires
- 6:11courage and vigilance. It sometimes requires
- 6:15sacrifice. But you have to also have the wisdom
- 6:20to use that freedom. And you have to be in a
- 6:26position to offer the humility that goes with
- 6:32that. The founders carried the responsibility
- 6:34of liberty in their generation and we must carry
- 6:37it in ours. Liberty is not maintained by laws
- 6:40alone. Liberty is maintained by hearts that choose
- 6:44righteousness. America stands at a turning point.
- 6:48The celebration of 250 years is behind us, the
- 6:51future of liberty is before us. Will we treat
- 6:54freedom as a memory or a mission? Will we treat
- 6:58liberty as a privilege or a calling? Will we
- 7:02treat responsibility as a burden or an honor?
- 7:06The unfinished work of Liberty is waiting, and
- 7:09God is calling us to continue it. Let us pray.
- 7:16Heavenly Father, you have blessed this nation
- 7:18with freedom. You have called us to live in Liberty.
- 7:24You have entrusted us with responsibility. Give
- 7:28us the courage to protect the freedom. Give us
- 7:31the wisdom to steward freedom. And keep our faith
- 7:35to honor freedom. And let America continue the
- 7:39unfinished work of liberty with righteousness
- 7:42and truth. In Jesus name, Amen. Freedom is fragile.
- 7:50Freedom is something that could be very powerful.
- 7:57It can be strengthened, but it also can be weakened.
- 8:01It can be protected, but it can also be neglected.
- 8:07It can be cherished, but it can also be taken
- 8:10for granted. The founders understood this fragility.
- 8:14They knew that liberty could be lost in a single
- 8:18generation. If the people failed to guard it,
- 8:22they knew that freedom was not self -sustaining.
- 8:24They knew that liberty required vigilant sacrifice
- 8:27and moral courage. And now, 250 years later,
- 8:32America must understand that same truth. Freedom
- 8:35is not guaranteed. Freedom is not automatic.
- 8:38Freedom is not permanent. It has to be protected
- 8:42or it will fade. Galatians 5 verse 1 reminds
- 8:46us that Christ sets us free for a purpose. Freedom
- 8:49is not the end of the story. It is only the beginning
- 8:53of our responsibility. Nations rarely lose freedom
- 8:58suddenly. They lose it slowly. They lose it quietly.
- 9:03They lose it gradually. Inch by inch, moment
- 9:07by moment, decision by decision. Liberty does
- 9:11not disappear with a shout. It disappears with
- 9:14a whisper. It disappears when people stop paying
- 9:17attention to it. It disappears when responsibility
- 9:20becomes inconvenient. It disappears when truth
- 9:24becomes optional. And it disappears when character
- 9:27becomes negotiable. America is not immune to
- 9:32drift. No nation is. And the unfinished work
- 9:37of liberty requires us to recognize when drift
- 9:39begins and to correct it before it becomes decline.
- 9:44If we look around us now, politically some of
- 9:47the people that are being elected to office,
- 9:51we're beginning to drift. We are not following
- 9:55our Judeo -Christian values that set this country
- 9:59on its path for freedom. Freedom must be guarded
- 10:06not only from external threats, but the internal
- 10:09neglect. And this is what I'm talking about,
- 10:11this internal neglect. We have people that take
- 10:15freedom totally for granted and are electing
- 10:19people into our government that want to destroy
- 10:22our government. They want to destroy our religion.
- 10:25We can't allow that to happen. Freedom always
- 10:29places a burden on the human heart. The burden
- 10:33of choice. To be free is to choose. To be free
- 10:37is to decide. But to be free is to discern. You
- 10:43have to take the responsibility for the direction
- 10:46of one's life. Liberty without responsibility
- 10:50becomes the chaos. Liberty without truth becomes
- 10:54confusion. And liberty without righteousness
- 10:56becomes corruption. Galatians 5 verse 1 calls
- 11:00us to stand firm in the freedom Christ gives
- 11:03not to wonder, not to drift, and not to surrender
- 11:07to the pressures of the moment. Freedom requires
- 11:11strength. Freedom requires discipline. And freedom
- 11:15requires conviction. You know, we may not all
- 11:20agree on a political party, but we should all
- 11:23be able to agree what's right and what's wrong.
- 11:27because that leads us to the unfinished work
- 11:29of liberty and for us to have to choose well.
- 11:36Every generation receives freedom as a gift and
- 11:38must pass it on as a legacy. Freedom is inherited
- 11:42but it must also be renewed. Liberty is received
- 11:46but it also must be strengthened and rights are
- 11:48granted but must also be protected. What kind
- 11:54of legacy do we want to leave for our children
- 11:58and grandchildren in the future. The founders
- 12:02carry liberty in their generation. The Civil
- 12:06War generation carry liberty in theirs. The World
- 12:09War II generation carry liberty in theirs and
- 12:11the Civil Rights generation carry liberty in
- 12:14theirs. Now there's responsibility rests with
- 12:17us. We cannot assume the next generation will
- 12:21understand freedom if we do not teach it. We
- 12:24cannot assume they will value liberty if we do
- 12:26not model it. We cannot assume they will defend
- 12:30truth if we do not deliver it. The unfinished
- 12:34work of liberty is generational work. Unfortunately,
- 12:38in the last couple generations, we've had more
- 12:41indoctrinations than education in our schools
- 12:45and universities. and the generation learns some
- 12:50things that simply aren't true. Freedom cannot
- 12:54survive without morality. Liberty cannot thrive
- 12:59without virtue. Rights cannot endure without
- 13:02righteousness. Free people must be principled
- 13:04people. They must be a free nation as a moral
- 13:08nation. A free society must be disciplined. When
- 13:14morality declines, freedom weakens, when virtue
- 13:17fades, liberty erodes, and when righteousness
- 13:19is abandoned, rights become fragile. Going back
- 13:23to Galatians 5 verse 1, it is a call to independence.
- 13:28It is a call to holiness. Christ sets us free
- 13:32so that we may live in a righteous, not rebellion.
- 13:38Freedom is not the right to do whatever we want.
- 13:41Freedom is the strength to do what is right.
- 13:46The unfinished work of liberty is moral work.
- 13:50The Church has always been the guardian of liberty.
- 13:55Not because the Church is political, but because
- 13:57the Church is spiritual. Where truth is preached,
- 14:02freedom grows. Where righteousness is lived,
- 14:04freedom strengthens. Where compassion is practiced,
- 14:08freedom expands. And where scripture is honored,
- 14:12freedom is protected. The church must teach liberty.
- 14:16The church must model liberty. The church must
- 14:20defend liberty. The church must remind the nation
- 14:22that freedom is a gift from God and a responsibility
- 14:26back to God. If the church forgets her calling,
- 14:31the nation forgets her purpose. And if the church
- 14:33loses her voice, the nation loses her direction.
- 14:37The unfinished work of liberty is the church
- 14:40work. Freedom requires courage, not the courage
- 14:45of battle, but the courage of conviction, the
- 14:48courage to speak truth when truth is unpopular,
- 14:53the courage to live righteously when righteousness
- 14:57is mocked, the courage to defend liberty when
- 15:01liberty is misunderstood, and the courage to
- 15:04stand firm when a world demands compromise. Galatians
- 15:095 verse 1 calls us to stand firm, not to retreat,
- 15:13not to surrender, not to drift. Freedom is maintained
- 15:16by comfort. Freedom is not maintained by comfort.
- 15:23Freedom is maintained by courage. The unfinished
- 15:27work of liberty is courageous work. This freedom
- 15:31is a stewardship. It's a trust. Rights are responsibilities.
- 15:37We are stewards of the freedom God has given.
- 15:41We are caretakers of the liberty others died
- 15:43to protect and still die today. We are the guardians
- 15:49of the truth that sustains a nation. Stewardship
- 15:55requires vigilance, humility, sacrifice, and
- 16:00lots of wisdom. Let us pray. Heavenly Father,
- 16:08You have entrusted us with freedom. You have
- 16:10called us to stand firm in liberty. Give us the
- 16:13courage to protect what You have given. Give
- 16:16us clarity to discern truth from deception. Give
- 16:20us the strength to carry liberty forward and
- 16:24let America continue the unfinished work of freedom
- 16:27with righteousness and conviction. In Jesus'
- 16:31name, Amen. Freedom is not sustained by laws
- 16:35alone. Freedom is sustained by the soul of the
- 16:40nation. That's the inner life, the moral compass,
- 16:44the spiritual foundation that guides a people
- 16:47through uncertainty and change. A nation may
- 16:52have constitutions, charters, declarations, but
- 16:55if it loses its soul, it loses liberty. If it
- 17:00loses moral center, It loses strength, and when
- 17:04it loses spiritual grounding, it loses its future.
- 17:10Galatians 5 verse 1 reminds us that Christ sets
- 17:13us free so that we may live in truth. So freedom
- 17:16is not merely a political condition, it is a
- 17:20spiritual calling. And the unfinished work of
- 17:23liberty begins with the soul of a nation. Because
- 17:26every generation faces a battle for truth. Truth
- 17:29is always contested. Truth is always challenged.
- 17:31Truth is always resisted by forces that prefer
- 17:34confusion, distortion, and deception. A free
- 17:38nation cannot survive without truth. A free people
- 17:42cannot thrive without truth. And a free society
- 17:45cannot endure without truth. When truth becomes
- 17:49optional, freedom becomes unsustainable. When
- 17:52truth becomes negotiable, liberty becomes fragile.
- 17:57When truth becomes inconvenient, rights become
- 17:59vulnerable. The unfinished work of liberty requires
- 18:02commitment to the truth, not convenient truth,
- 18:06not selective truth, but God's truth. We know
- 18:12that America carries a great deal of influence,
- 18:14not only politically, but spiritually. The world
- 18:17watches America. The world listens to America.
- 18:21The world learns from America. The world is shaped
- 18:26by America's choices. When America dressed from
- 18:30liberty, the world feels tremors. When America
- 18:34stands firm in liberty, the world finds courage.
- 18:39When America honors God, the world sees hope.
- 18:44Influence is a responsibility and the unfinished
- 18:46work of liberty requires America to steward her
- 18:49influence with humility, righteousness, and conviction.
- 18:52One of the greatest threats to liberty is comfort.
- 18:57Comfort whispers that freedom will always be
- 19:00there. Comfort suggests that responsibility can
- 19:02wait. Comfort convinces us that sacrifice is
- 19:05unnecessary. Comfort tells us that vigilance
- 19:09is outdated. But comfort is a quiet enemy of
- 19:13freedom. It dulls the senses. It weakens our
- 19:16will. It softens our conviction and erodes the
- 19:19discipline. Liberty cannot survive in a nation
- 19:22that chooses comfort over character. Freedom
- 19:26requires effort, freedom requires awareness,
- 19:28and freedom requires sacrifice. The unfinished
- 19:31work of liberty demands that we resist the temptation
- 19:35of comfort and embrace the responsibility of
- 19:39stewardship. Freedom is not the absence of restraint.
- 19:44It is the presence of discipline. Free people
- 19:47must discipline their hearts. A free nation must
- 19:50discipline their values, and a society that is
- 19:53free must discipline their choices. Without discipline
- 19:57liberty goes to chaos, without discipline rights
- 19:59become weapons, and without discipline freedom
- 20:03becomes fragile. Going back again to Galatians
- 20:075 verse 1 calls us to stand firm, not to drift,
- 20:10not to wonder, not to surrender to the pressures
- 20:13of the moment. Standing firm requires discipline,
- 20:17standing firm requires conviction, and standing
- 20:20firm requires spiritual strength. The unfinished
- 20:23work of liberty is disciplined work. Every nation
- 20:27faces moments when decline begins quietly. Decline
- 20:31rarely announces itself. It begins with small
- 20:36little compromises. It begins with subtle shifts.
- 20:40It begins with the erosion of values that once
- 20:43held a nation together. Sometimes it is disguised
- 20:47in the word of change, or better, or different,
- 20:53or more meaningful. But the courage to confront
- 20:58decline is rare, but it is essential. A free
- 21:02people must recognize when liberty is weakening,
- 21:05a nation must acknowledge when truth is fading,
- 21:09and a free society must respond when righteousness
- 21:11is slipping. The unfinished work of liberty requires
- 21:15courage not only to defend freedom, but to confront
- 21:18decline before it becomes collapse. Political
- 21:23renewal cannot save a nation. Cultural renewal
- 21:27cannot sustain a nation and technological renewal
- 21:31cannot strengthen a nation. Only spiritual renewal
- 21:34can restore a nation's soul. Spiritual renewal
- 21:38begins with repentance. Spiritual renewal begins
- 21:42with humility and spiritual renewal begins with
- 21:44truth. And let's not forget the most important
- 21:50part of spiritual renewal begins with prayer.
- 21:58Galatians 5 verse 1 reminds us Christ sets us
- 22:01free and only Christ can renew the heart of a
- 22:05nation. The unfinished work of liberty is spiritual
- 22:08work. Leadership is not a position, it is a responsibility.
- 22:12Leaders shape the direction of liberty. Leaders
- 22:15influence the strength of freedom. And leaders
- 22:19determine whether a nation moves toward righteousness
- 22:21or away from it. A free nation needs leaders
- 22:24who honor truth. A free nation needs leaders
- 22:28who protect liberty. And a free nation needs
- 22:31leaders who serve with humility. A free nation
- 22:35needs leaders who fear God more than they fear
- 22:38public opinion. The unfinished work of liberty
- 22:42requires leaders to understand the weight of
- 22:45freedom and carry it with integrity. Let us pray.
- 22:52Lord, you have given us freedom as a gift and
- 22:56a calling. You have entrusted us with the liberty
- 22:58as a responsibility. Renew our hearts, strengthen
- 23:02our convictions, awaken our courage. Restore
- 23:06our commitment to truth and let America continue
- 23:09the unfinished work of liberty with righteousness,
- 23:13humility, and faith. In Jesus' name, Amen. Freedom
- 23:19is not only a memory of the past, it is a mandate
- 23:22for the future. Every generation inherits liberty,
- 23:25but every generation must decide what liberty
- 23:28will become. Will freedom grow stronger or will
- 23:32it grow weaker? Will liberty expand or will it
- 23:35shrink? Will responsibility deepen or will it
- 23:38fade? Galatians 5 verse 1 reminds us that Christ
- 23:44sets us free for a purpose, not to drift, not
- 23:47to wander, and not to surrender to the pressures
- 23:49of the moment, but to stand firm. Freedom is
- 23:53not a relic. It's not something that was done
- 23:56in years past and we don't do it anymore. Freedom
- 23:58is a calling. It is a future that we must keep
- 24:03shaped with courage and conviction. Freedom does
- 24:06not disappear in a single moment. It disappears
- 24:09slowly through neglect and through apathy, through
- 24:14distraction, through the quiet erosion of values
- 24:17that once held a nation together, through a lot
- 24:20of promises, false promises. Things that seem
- 24:25to make things easy or give us comfort that are
- 24:30generally not true. Because if we try to have
- 24:36more comfort at the cost of somebody else's liberty,
- 24:44we are truly putting liberty in decline. We're
- 24:48putting freedom in decline. Because when a people
- 24:50stop teaching liberty, they stop understanding
- 24:53liberty. When a nation stops honoring sacrifice,
- 24:56it stops valuing freedom. They are intertwined
- 25:00together. So when a society stops defending truth,
- 25:03it stops protecting rights. Neglect is a silent
- 25:07enemy. It does not shout. It whispers. It convinces
- 25:11a nation that freedom will always be there even
- 25:13when freedom is slipping away. The unfinished
- 25:17work of liberty requires vigilance. not only
- 25:20against external threats, but against the internal
- 25:23neglect. We do have a lot of internal neglect
- 25:27right now in our country, and we have to be careful.
- 25:30We have to see it for what it is. This is not
- 25:34a political statement. This is truth. People
- 25:38that say things, maybe things we even want to
- 25:42hear, but we know in the long run that they're
- 25:47not things that are sustainable. and not things
- 25:50that are going to keep us free. They're going
- 25:51to imprison us in our own country. Not necessarily
- 25:56in a jail, but by chaining us to values we don't
- 26:03agree with, to religions that tear away from
- 26:06our Judeo -Christian values. Freedom requires
- 26:10conviction, not shallow conviction, not convenient
- 26:13conviction, but deep, rooted in truth, righteousness,
- 26:17and faith. Conviction is the backbone of liberty.
- 26:22It is the anchor of our responsibility. It is
- 26:25the strength that keeps a nation from drifting
- 26:27into confusion or compromise. Because a free
- 26:30people must believe in something greater than
- 26:33themselves. A free nation must stand for something
- 26:36deeper than comfort. A free society must hold
- 26:40to the something stronger than an opinion. Galatians
- 26:465 verse 1 calls us to stand firm and standing
- 26:48firm requires conviction. The unfinished work
- 26:51of liberty is conviction work. A nation that
- 26:57forgets its past cannot protect its future. Memory
- 27:00is the guardian of liberty. Memory is the teacher
- 27:03of responsibility and memory is the reminder
- 27:06of sacrifice. When America remembers the cost
- 27:10of freedom, she protects freedom. When America
- 27:14remembers the cost and struggles that shaped
- 27:18her, she strengthens liberty. When America remembers
- 27:22the faith that guided her, she renews her purpose.
- 27:27Memory is not nostalgia. Memory is instruction.
- 27:30Memory is direction. Memory is the foundation
- 27:33upon which liberty stands. The unfinished work
- 27:37of liberty requires remembrance. Freedom thrives
- 27:41in unity, not uniformity, not sameness, but unity
- 27:47of purpose, unity of conviction, and unity of
- 27:50responsibility. A divided nation cannot protect
- 27:54liberty. A fractured people cannot defend truth.
- 27:58A splintered society cannot sustain freedom.
- 28:03Unity does not mean agreement on everything.
- 28:07Unity means agreement on what matters most. Truth,
- 28:11righteousness, responsibility, and the calling
- 28:14God has placed upon this nation. Galatians 5
- 28:20verse 1 calls us to stand firm, and standing
- 28:23firm is easier when we stand together. The unfinished
- 28:29work of liberty is unity work. America's influence
- 28:34is global. Her choices ripple across the oceans.
- 28:38her values shape cultures, her convictions inspire
- 28:41nations. Just look at the FIFA World Cup that
- 28:46came here. Look at the tens of thousands or hundreds
- 28:49of thousands of people came from all over the
- 28:52world in the various cities of our country to
- 28:56see the matches. What did they say on camera?
- 29:01What they saw or what they had been told about
- 29:04the United States was not true. They were told
- 29:07all kinds of lies about us, especially by their
- 29:10media and, I hate to say it, our left -wing media.
- 29:13They were told terrible things. But when they
- 29:15experienced the United States for themselves,
- 29:18the freedoms, the celebrations, the sportsmanship,
- 29:23it became a totally different attitude. And a
- 29:29lot of them want to be here. They didn't want
- 29:31to necessarily go back, but they'd want to come
- 29:33back. When America honors liberty, the world
- 29:41sees hope. When America protects freedom, the
- 29:44world finds courage. When America stands firm
- 29:48in truth, the world gains clarity. Influence
- 29:51is not a privilege, it is a responsibility. The
- 29:54United States has that responsibility, and the
- 29:56unfinished work of liberty requires America to
- 29:58steward her influence with humility, righteousness,
- 30:03and faith. Liberty is not only national, it is
- 30:09personal. Freedom is not only collective, it
- 30:13is individual. And responsibility is not only
- 30:16governmental, it is spiritual. Every person must
- 30:21carry the weight of freedom. Every family must
- 30:24teach the meaning of liberty. Every community
- 30:26must model the responsibility of rights. Every
- 30:31believer must live the truth. that sustains a
- 30:35free nation. Galatians 5 verse 1 calls us each
- 30:40to stand firm, not just as citizens, but as disciples
- 30:45of Christ. The unfinished work of liberty is
- 30:48personal work. Freedom can be renewed. Liberty
- 30:54can be restored. Responsibility can be revived.
- 30:57Conviction can be strengthened. Truth can be
- 31:00rediscovered. And faith can be awakened. America's
- 31:04story is not finished. Her calling is not complete.
- 31:07Her mission is not over. Renewal begins with
- 31:10the repentance. Renewal begins with humility
- 31:14and renewal begins with truth. And finally, renewal
- 31:18begins with prayer. The unfinished work of Liberty
- 31:22is hopeful work because God is still writing
- 31:25America's story. Let us pray. Heavenly Father,
- 31:30you have given us freedom as a gift and a calling.
- 31:33You have entrusted us with liberty as a responsibility.
- 31:37Strengthen our hearts, renew our convictions,
- 31:39awaken our courage, restore our unity, protect
- 31:44our future, and let America continue the unfinished
- 31:47work of liberty with righteousness, humility,
- 31:52and faith. In Jesus' name, Amen. America, your
- 31:58freedom is not finished. Your liberty is not
- 32:01complete. Your responsibility is not over. Your
- 32:04calling is not lost because the author of freedom
- 32:07is still writing. And the Church is still speaking.
- 32:12Keep those in mind. Keep all these wonderful,
- 32:16strengthening, happy thoughts in mind. But don't
- 32:22forget about prayer. Don't forget about standing
- 32:26firm. Don't forget about your own convictions.
- 32:31Don't let others influence you with a lot of
- 32:34promises that are meaningless, that only provide
- 32:40something that they want, some vision that they
- 32:43have, and they want you to go along with it.
- 32:47Well, our country has worked well for 250 years.
- 32:51So whether they call themselves a socialist,
- 32:55a communist, a fascist, a Nazi, whatever they
- 32:58call themselves. It doesn't matter. That's all
- 33:02noise. That is not what you are about. You are
- 33:06about freedom. You are about responsibility.
- 33:10You are about liberty. That's what you're about.
- 33:14That's what I'm about. That's why you're here.
- 33:16That's why you're listening. Don't let them take
- 33:19that away. Don't let them erode our freedoms.
- 33:22Stand up tall to them. Thank you for joining
- 33:25me today. This has been Week 2 of America After
- 33:29250. The story continues. I'm Pastor David. I
- 33:34look forward to walking with you into next week's
- 33:36message. Until then, be safe. This has been the
- 33:48voices of life. A journey into the meaning of
- 33:53freedom and the responsibility it carries. The
- 33:59work of liberty is not finished. It continues
- 34:05in every generation and in every heart that chooses
- 34:09truth and stands firm in faith. Pastor David
- 34:16will return next week as we continue America
- 34:23at 250. The story continues. Until then, stay
- 34:34prayerful, stay courageous, and stay committed.
- 34:46to the freedom God has given.
