• 1:06
Speaker 2: what's next at DOJ. And finally, The New York Times
• 1:09
Speaker 2: has a bombshell report that Act Blue, the big Democratic
• 1:14
Speaker 2: left wing fundraising online apparatus, may well have committed multiple
• 1:20
Speaker 2: criminal acts, may well be laundering foreign money, and could
• 1:23
Speaker 2: face criminal liability, could be shut down. This is from
• 1:27
Speaker 2: the New York Times. We're gonna break that story down
• 1:29
Speaker 2: because it has potentially enormous consequences for the midterms.
• 1:34
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a really big story and it's really interesting
• 1:37

Speaker 3: them extremely hard over the next two to three. Weeks
• 3:41
Speaker 3: we're going to bring them back to The Stone ages
• 3:45
  Speaker 3: where they. Belong.
• 3:46
Speaker 1: Center for anybody that wants, transparency you don't get any
• 3:49
Speaker 1: more transparent than this. President he's, like, yes we have
• 3:52
Speaker 1: the upper hand to the level where he can literally
• 3:54
Speaker 1: just say To, iran this is what we're going to
• 3:56
Speaker 1: do to. You if you don't agree to, this if
• 3:58

• 4:00
Speaker 1: What we're gonna bomb the living snot out of. You
• 4:02
Speaker 1: and we're not. BLUFFING i love the fact that this
• 4:05
Speaker 1: president is just being like this, transparent not just with,
• 4:08
Speaker 1: us but like with the rest of the world as.
• 4:10

Speaker 2: Stop and then you turn on THE, tv you turn
• 4:31
Speaker 2: on the, internet and you see him, say we're going
• 4:35
Speaker 2: to bomb you back to The Stone. Age, look that's
• 4:39
Speaker 2: not encouraging for the people who chant death To. America
• 4:42
Speaker 2: that is that that is extremely. Dismaying they're holding on
• 4:47
Speaker 2: by their. Fingernails and he's being clear that they're gonna hit,
• 4:51
Speaker 2: very very. Hard now he's also being clear this is
• 4:53
Speaker 2: gonna last a couple of. Weeks it's not gonna last months,
• 4:56
Speaker 2: more it's not gonna last a year or. Longer he's
• 4:58
Speaker 2: gonna pound the hell out of for the next couple of.
• 5:00
Speaker 2: Weeks and and you, know for the handful of online,
• 5:03
Speaker 2: critics AND i do want to, say the press loves
• 5:06
Speaker 2: to say there's a civil war Among republicans On President
• 5:11
Speaker 2: trump Attacking. Iran that is objectively. False if you look
• 5:15
Speaker 2: at the, polling the support is between eighty five percent
• 5:18
Speaker 2: and ninety percent Of republicans support what the president is.
• 5:21
  Speaker 2: Doing that's not a civil. War they're just a handful
• 5:25
Speaker 2: of really loud, voices self proclaim influencers and. Podcasters by the,
• 5:30
Speaker 2: way can you stand a podcast? Podcaster what are an annoying
• 5:33
Speaker 2: class of human. Being the.
• 5:35
Speaker 1: Podcasters, yeah they quoted a lot when you need, them
• 5:40
Speaker 1: right like. That, well there's a lot Of republican podcasters
• 5:43
Speaker 1: THAT i describe as useful idiots for the left whenever
• 5:46
  Speaker 1: they need.
• 5:46
  Speaker 2: One they're.
• 5:47
Speaker 1: People it's like they raise their hand, like, Oh i'll
• 5:48
Speaker 1: do that for, You Like i'll say that for you
• 5:50
Speaker 1: as long as you get my name out. There it's truly.
• 5:53
Speaker 2: Incredible, yeah these self proclaimed podcasters are fond of, saying,
• 5:56
Speaker 2: Oh President trump has changed his. View he's changed his
• 6:00
Speaker 2: view because he's a puppet that others are pulling his. Strings, well,
• 6:04
Speaker 2: look the president Was claire also in his national. Address
• 6:06
Speaker 2: this has been his view for a long long. Time,
• 6:08
  Speaker 2: here give a.
• 6:09
Speaker 3: Listen from the very first DAY i announced my campaign
• 6:14
Speaker 3: for president in twenty, FIFTEEN i have vowed THAT i
• 6:18
Speaker 3: would never Allow iran to have a nuclear. Weapon this
• 6:23
Speaker 3: fannacular regime has been chanting death To, america death To
• 6:28
Speaker 3: israel for forty seven. Years their proxies were behind the
• 6:33
Speaker 3: murder of two hundred and forty One americans and The
• 6:36
Speaker 3: marine barracks bombing In, beirut the slaughter of hundreds of
• 6:40
Speaker 3: our service members with roadside, bombs they were involved in
• 6:45
Speaker 3: the attack on THE uss coal and they're carried out
• 6:49
Speaker 3: the countless other heinous, acts including the blood just, horrible
• 6:55
Speaker 3: bloody atrocities Of october seventh In, israel something that most
• 7:00
Speaker 3: people have never seen anything like. It this murderer's regime
• 7:04
Speaker 3: also recently killed forty five thousand of their own people
• 7:09
Speaker 3: who were protesting In. Iran forty five thousand. Did for
• 7:13
Speaker 3: these terrorists to have nuclear weapons would be an intolerable.
• 7:17
Speaker 3: Threat the most violent and thuggish regime on earth would
• 7:21
Speaker 3: be free to carry out their campaigns of, terror, coercion,
• 7:25
Speaker 3: conquest and mass murder from behind a nuclear. SHIELD i
• 7:30
Speaker 3: will never let that, happen and neither should any of
• 7:34
Speaker 3: our past. Presidents you, know.
• 7:37
Speaker 1: The only difference Between Donald trump and the past presidence
• 7:40
Speaker 1: they just mentioned there is every other president has said
• 7:43
Speaker 1: that you can't allow a ray to get a nuclear
• 7:46
Speaker 1: weapon and that they are a threat to this country.
• 7:48
Speaker 1: Directly the only difference Is Donald trump actually did what
• 7:51
Speaker 1: he said he was going to, do and he was
• 7:53
Speaker 1: going to stop. Them the other ones did. Not they tried,
• 7:55
Speaker 1: appeasement they tried just kind of looking the other. Way
• 7:58
Speaker 1: none of it. Works since nineteen seventy, Nine so now
• 8:00
Speaker 1: he's doing. It that's literally the only difference.
• 8:02
Speaker 2: Here, well, Listen President trump has been absolutely, clear as
• 8:06
Speaker 2: he pointed, out going back to when he launched his
• 8:08
Speaker 2: first presidential campaign in twenty. Fifteen twenty fifteen was eleven years.
• 8:12
Speaker 2: Ago so the naysayers online who claim there's some like
• 8:16
Speaker 2: magical Realization Donald trump has, had have not listened to
• 8:20
Speaker 2: him year after year after year for more than a.
• 8:23
Speaker 2: Decade when he Said iran will not get nuclear, weapons
• 8:26
Speaker 2: he meant, it and he's. Acting he's carrying out on.
• 8:29
  Speaker 3: That right.
• 8:29
Speaker 1: NOW i want to Play devil's advocate with you because
• 8:32
Speaker 1: there's a lot of people and some of those on
• 8:35
Speaker 1: the right that have said this, like we didn't need
• 8:37
Speaker 1: to go, now this was Just Donald trump wanting to
• 8:40
Speaker 1: get into some sort of war and this was bad
• 8:43
Speaker 1: timing by. Him so let me ask. You for people
• 8:47
Speaker 1: that are saying why, now explain why now made?
• 8:51
Speaker 2: Sense, well there were two factors that were really. Critical Number,
• 8:54
Speaker 2: one As President trump mentioned just a minute, ago and
• 8:58
Speaker 2: as he said for eleven, years we cannot Allow iran
• 9:01
Speaker 2: to get nuclear. Weapons that when The iyatola chanted death To,
• 9:05
Speaker 2: america we have every reason to believe. Him The iranian
• 9:09
Speaker 2: regime is killed nearly a Thousand. Americans they have been
• 9:12
Speaker 2: the number one state funder of terrorism. Worldwide if they
• 9:15
Speaker 2: had a nuclear, weapon the odds are unacceptably high they
• 9:19
  Speaker 2: would use.
• 9:19
  Speaker 3: It.
• 9:19
Speaker 2: Now a month, ago they were not on the verge
• 9:22
Speaker 2: of acquiring nuclear. Weapons last, year during The Twelve Day,
• 9:26
Speaker 2: War President trump ordered OUR b two bombers to fly
• 9:29
Speaker 2: halfway around the, world and we dropped bunker busters on
• 9:33
Speaker 2: their nuclear weapons research, facilities PARTICULARLY, fordao WHICH fordao is
• 9:37
Speaker 2: a secret research. Bunker it was built under a mountain
• 9:41
Speaker 2: and it was built to withstand bombing attacks Because israel
• 9:44
Speaker 2: did not have bombs big enough to take OUT. Forda
• 9:47
Speaker 2: no other country On earth had bombs big enough to
• 9:49
Speaker 2: do that except for The United. States were the only
• 9:51
Speaker 2: ones that had the bunker busters big enough to take it.
• 9:53
Speaker 2: Out the ordinance we dropped on their nuclear research facilities
• 9:57
Speaker 2: last year where the equivalent of one third of a nuclear.
• 10:01
Speaker 2: Weapon we're talking, big big, bombs and we took out
• 10:05
Speaker 2: their nuclear weapons. Facilities so a month ago they were
• 10:09
Speaker 2: not on the verge of acquiring nuclear weapons facilities or nuclear. Weapons,
• 10:13
Speaker 2: rather why Did President trump? Act Because iran was building,
• 10:19
Speaker 2: missiles short range and medium range ballistic missiles at an
• 10:22
Speaker 2: incredibly rapid, clip over one hundred missiles a month they were.
• 10:25
Speaker 2: Building they were also.
• 10:27
Speaker 1: Building, okay put that, RESPECTIVE i think people need to
• 10:29
Speaker 1: understand building one hundred a, month that is like warp
• 10:32
Speaker 1: speed in the ballistic missile. World people need to understand, that,
• 10:36
Speaker 1: like if you're building that, many it's for a. Reason
• 10:39
  Speaker 1: you're going to. Ward it's not even a defensive that's
• 10:42
Speaker 1: like an offensive. Posture and everybody in the world basically
• 10:45
  Speaker 1: agreed with.
• 10:46
Speaker 2: That, well we also know now that they had missiles
• 10:49
Speaker 2: that were sufficient that they could go all the way
• 10:52
Speaker 2: From iran To Diego, garcia because during this war they
• 10:55
Speaker 2: fired a missile At Dieo, garcia which is A British
• 10:59
Speaker 2: america military base in The Chagos islands in the middle
• 11:03
Speaker 2: of The Indian. Oceans that's a couple thousand miles. Away
• 11:06
Speaker 2: that is the same distance From iran That paris And london,
• 11:09
Speaker 2: are which meant they had missiles far enough to get
• 11:12
Speaker 2: to the capital cities In. Europe they were building over
• 11:15
Speaker 2: one hundred missiles a. Month they were also building vast
• 11:18
Speaker 2: numbers of, drones and their plan was to have so
• 11:21
Speaker 2: many missiles and so many drones that it would become
• 11:25
Speaker 2: prohibitively costly to go in and take out their next
• 11:29
Speaker 2: nuclear weapons research. Facility they wanted enough missiles and drones
• 11:33
Speaker 2: that if we came in and took Out phase two
• 11:38
Speaker 2: of the nuclear weapons research, facility they could inflict massive
• 11:42
Speaker 2: casualties on their. Neighbors and look what they did when
• 11:45
Speaker 2: this conflict. Started they fired missiles at, everybody not just At,
• 11:48
Speaker 2: israel at every one of their. Neighbors and so The
• 11:52
Speaker 2: trump administration made the determination they needed to act now
• 11:56
Speaker 2: before they had so many missiles and so many drones
• 11:59
Speaker 2: that there would be a massive loss of life if
• 12:03
Speaker 2: we acted subsequently to take out nuclear weapons research. Facilities
• 12:07
Speaker 2: that's number. One number, two The iranian regime is weaker
• 12:12
Speaker 2: right now than it has been at any time during our.
• 12:14
Speaker 2: Lifetime as you, KNOW i spent the entire day the
• 12:17
Speaker 2: day before this conflict began With President. Trump he AND
• 12:20
Speaker 2: i were together At Air Force. One we flew FROM
• 12:22
Speaker 2: dc To texas, together and then he asked me to
• 12:25
Speaker 2: join him in the beast in the presidential. Limo it
• 12:28
Speaker 2: was just the two of, us one on. One the
• 12:30
Speaker 2: entire time we were talking about what should he do In?
• 12:32
Speaker 2: Iran and WHAT i was arguing to, HIM i support this,
• 12:36
Speaker 2: attack AND i urge this attack. Vigorously AND i, said,
• 12:40
Speaker 2: listen the regime has never been more. Vulnerable it is,
• 12:44
Speaker 2: teetering and there is very, little if, anything that you
• 12:47
Speaker 2: could do that would more greatly Enhance american national security
• 12:52
Speaker 2: than to see this Radical islamist regime, collapse to remove
• 12:56
Speaker 2: from power An, ayatola who chanced death To, america who
• 13:01
Speaker 2: has been Murdering americans for, years and who wants to
• 13:03
Speaker 2: kill as Many americans as he.
• 13:05
Speaker 1: Can all, right let me go back to another big,
• 13:07
Speaker 1: question AND i would say a fallacy that's been out
• 13:10
Speaker 1: there that a lot of people have been talking, about
• 13:11
Speaker 1: and that, is, well it Wasn't america's role to do.
• 13:15
Speaker 1: This if the neighbors were, afraid then they should have
• 13:18
Speaker 1: been the. Ones we already went after their nuclear. Facilities
• 13:22
Speaker 1: that's Where america should have. Stopped and if others In
• 13:25
Speaker 1: europe were concerned about being hit by these missiles that
• 13:28
Speaker 1: could reach them capital, cities then that's on them to do,
• 13:32
Speaker 1: it Not. America why did we have to do, This
• 13:34
  Speaker 1: that's the isolation's Viewpoint i've.
• 13:36
Speaker 2: Heard, look we weren't doing it For iran's. Neighbors we
• 13:39
Speaker 2: weren't doing it For Saudi arabia OR uae Or. Cutter
• 13:43
Speaker 2: we weren't doing it For, europe and we weren't doing
• 13:45
Speaker 2: it For. ISRAEL i know all of the jew haters
• 13:48
Speaker 2: online like to, say it's For, israel it's For, Israel
• 13:50
Speaker 2: it's For. Israel The ayatola chanted death To. America he
• 13:54
Speaker 2: also chanted death To. Israel but there's a reason The
• 13:57
Speaker 2: ayatola Called israel the Little satan And america The Great.
• 14:01
Speaker 2: SATAN i believe if The ayahtola had a nuclear, weapon
• 14:05
Speaker 2: he might have detonated it In Tel aviv and killed
• 14:08
Speaker 2: vast numbers Of. Israelis BUT i actually think it is
• 14:10
Speaker 2: more likely if he, could he would detonate a nuclear
• 14:14
Speaker 2: weapon In New York city Or Los angeles and kill
• 14:16
Speaker 2: as Many americans as. Possible that, is look when he
• 14:20
Speaker 2: calls us the Great, satan and understand this is not.
• 14:24
Speaker 2: Hypothetical AND i want to underscore my. VIEW i, am
• 14:27
Speaker 2: as a general, matter very reluctant to use military. FORCE
• 14:31
Speaker 2: i think The Iraq war was a. MISTAKE i have
• 14:34
Speaker 2: been vocal for a long time that The Iraq war
• 14:36
Speaker 2: was a. Mistake why DO i think it was a
• 14:38
Speaker 2: mistake Because Saddam hussein was not waging war against The United.
• 14:42
Speaker 2: States he was not killing vast numbers Of. Americans he
• 14:45
Speaker 2: was not pledging to kill vast numbers Of. Americans The
• 14:48
Speaker 2: iyahtola was over ninety percent of the funding for Hamas
• 14:51
Speaker 2: hesbeal and The huthis had come From. Iran they were
• 14:55
Speaker 2: Murdering americans year after year after. Year they were trying
• 14:58
Speaker 2: to Murder President. Trump and that is why The president.
• 15:02
Speaker 2: Acted and look at all we've. Accomplished give a listen
• 15:05
Speaker 2: to The president on everything we've accomplished so far.
• 15:08
Speaker 3: Tonight iran's navy is, gone their air forces in, ruins their,
• 15:14
Speaker 3: leaders most of them terrorist regime they, led are now,
• 15:20
Speaker 3: dead their command and control of The Islamic Revolutionary Guard
• 15:26
Speaker 3: corps being decimated as we. Speak their ability to launch
• 15:32
Speaker 3: missiles and drones is dramatically, curtailed and their weapons factories
• 15:37
Speaker 3: and rocket launchers are being blown to, pieces very few
• 15:41
Speaker 3: of them. Left never in the history of warfare has
• 15:45
Speaker 3: an enemy suffered such clear and, devastating large scale losses
• 15:48
Speaker 3: in a matter of.
• 15:50
Speaker 1: Weeks President trump being very clear THERE i want to
• 15:54
Speaker 1: move on to one of the big. Headlines it's never
• 15:56
Speaker 1: fun when someone loses their job in the. Administry the
• 16:01
Speaker 1: headline from The New York. Post pambondi speaks out for
• 16:04
Speaker 1: the first time After trump fired her as The Attorney.
• 16:06
Speaker 1: GENERAL i want to get your take on. This you
• 16:09
Speaker 1: know her, WELL i know, Her we've had her on
• 16:11
Speaker 1: this show. Before look in, cabinets there's always people that
• 16:15
Speaker 1: come and. Go that's just part Of washington and. Politics
• 16:18
Speaker 1: it is what it. Is there's a lot of people
• 16:21
Speaker 1: on the left that are just thrilled about this that they're,
• 16:23
  Speaker 1: oh there's a turmoil and you know. EVERYTHING i don't
• 16:26
Speaker 1: think it's that way at. ALL i think this is
• 16:28
Speaker 1: The president just, Saying, OKAY i want to do something
• 16:30
Speaker 1: a little bit, different and he's going to move on
• 16:32
  Speaker 1: pretty darn.
• 16:32
Speaker 2: Quick, yeah, Listen pambondy is a good friend of. MINE
• 16:36
Speaker 2: i think she took on what may be the single
• 16:39
Speaker 2: hardest job in the entire, administration The department Of. Justice
• 16:43
Speaker 2: there is a deep state AT doj and at THE
• 16:46
Speaker 2: fbi who fought her from day, one who have been
• 16:49
Speaker 2: waging war trying to prevent her efforts to bring back,
• 16:52
Speaker 2: integrity to take the politicization out of The department Of,
• 16:56
Speaker 2: justice and it's been an uphill. Battle it's been a difficult.
• 16:59
Speaker 2: Battle pam was someone who she was a guest On,
• 17:03
Speaker 2: verdict literally when she was just a couple of weeks
• 17:05
Speaker 2: into the job at a very, beginning brand new Ag
• 17:10
Speaker 2: she came On verdict and was a guest and talked
• 17:13
Speaker 2: to us about everything she was trying to. Accomplish you,
• 17:16
Speaker 2: know she put out a tweet saying. Farewell here's What
• 17:20
Speaker 2: pam had to. Say over the next, MONTH i will
• 17:23
Speaker 2: be working tirelessly to transition the office Of Attorney general
• 17:26
Speaker 2: to the Amazing Todd blanche before moving to an important
• 17:29
Speaker 2: private sector ROLE i am thrilled about and WHERE i
• 17:32
Speaker 2: will continue fighting For President trump in this. Administration Leading
• 17:36
Speaker 2: President trump's historic and highly successful efforts to Make america
• 17:40
Speaker 2: safer and more secure has been the honor of a
• 17:43
Speaker 2: lifetime and easily the most consequential first year of The
• 17:47
Speaker 2: department Of justice In american. History Since february twenty twenty,
• 17:52
Speaker 2: five we have secured the lowest murder rate in one
• 17:56
Speaker 2: hundred and twenty five, years secured first ever terrorism convictions
• 18:01
Speaker 2: against members Of, antifa shattered domestic and transnational gangs across the,
• 18:07
Speaker 2: country taken custody of more than ninety key cartel, figures
• 18:12
Speaker 2: and won twenty four favorable rulings at The Supreme. COURT
• 18:17
Speaker 2: i remain internally grateful for the trust That President trump
• 18:21
Speaker 2: placed in me to Make america safe. Again and, LISTEN
• 18:25
Speaker 2: i Think pam served. Honorably it is The president's prerogative
• 18:29
Speaker 2: to choose if he wants new leadership of The department Of,
• 18:32
Speaker 2: justice and he's made that. Choice BUT i Think pam
• 18:34
Speaker 2: served honorably in a very difficult. Job AND i think her,
• 18:39
Speaker 2: results particularly in terms of, crime in terms of going
• 18:42
Speaker 2: after murderers and rapists and gang bangers and illegal, aliens
• 18:47
Speaker 2: and the resulting twenty percent drop in the murder rate
• 18:51
Speaker 2: is staggering and, unprecedented and it is something she should
• 18:56
Speaker 2: be very proud. Of i'm certain that she, is because
• 19:00
Speaker 2: between that and the rate of drug overdose deaths dropping
• 19:06
Speaker 2: twenty percent, nationally there are literally thousands Of americans right
• 19:10
Speaker 2: now who are alive today because of the policy she
• 19:14
Speaker 2: And President trump and A Republican congress put in place
• 19:18
Speaker 2: securing the border and removing dangerous. Criminals that's something to
• 19:21
  Speaker 2: be really proud.
• 19:21
  Speaker 3: Of it.
• 19:22
Speaker 1: Is and you look at my hometown For, examp WHERE
• 19:24
Speaker 1: i was born In, Memphis. TENNESSEE pam was there multiple.
• 19:27
Speaker 1: Times crime there is down forty percent year over. Year
• 19:30
Speaker 1: The president just went To, memphis gosh less than a
• 19:33
Speaker 1: week ago and talked about the success there of what
• 19:36
Speaker 1: he did there In, washington D. C pam was a
• 19:38
Speaker 1: large part of that as. Well and as you, mentioned
• 19:42
Speaker 1: like that's part of a. Legacy, look you AND i
• 19:44
Speaker 1: have known people that have come and gone in cabinets,
• 19:45
Speaker 1: before some of them actually. Ags i've known a couple
• 19:48
Speaker 1: that have lost their job after a. While it. Is
• 19:51
Speaker 1: it's one of the hardest jobs to. Do my former
• 19:54
Speaker 1: mentor IN dc Was John, ashcroft and he always didn't
• 19:57
Speaker 1: get along with the. President Units It's. America George bush,
• 20:00
Speaker 1: three and Afterwards Alberta gonzalez came. IN i, mean you,
• 20:03
Speaker 1: know it is part of what. HAPPENS i also, think,
• 20:08
Speaker 1: though based on the names we're hearing right, now somebody's
• 20:12
Speaker 1: gonna get this job and they're gonna do probably one
• 20:14
Speaker 1: hell of a job for the. President AND i do
• 20:17
Speaker 1: think even, now you know even more to find what
• 20:20
Speaker 1: The president's gonna want out of you on the on
• 20:22
Speaker 1: the second go round on this. One that also can
• 20:24
Speaker 1: be good for that individual coming.
• 20:25
  Speaker 3: In.
• 20:26
Speaker 2: Yeah, look at least right, now what's been announced That Todd,
• 20:30
Speaker 2: blanche who's The Deputy Attorney, general is going to be
• 20:32
Speaker 2: the Acting Attorney. GENERAL i don't know how long that's gonna.
• 20:35
Speaker 2: Last it wouldn't surprise me If President trump gives him
• 20:38
Speaker 2: a little bit of time to see what kind of
• 20:39
Speaker 2: job he, does he may end up Leaving Todd blanche
• 20:42
Speaker 2: in that. Role that would not shock. Me todd is
• 20:44
Speaker 2: a serious, lawyer has been doing a good job As
• 20:46
Speaker 2: Deputy Attorney. General he has been focused on a lot
• 20:50
Speaker 2: of the law enforcement, mission in particular locking up, criminals
• 20:54
Speaker 2: and SO i could see him being given a shot
• 20:57
Speaker 2: at the top. Job there's been other chat That Lee's.
• 21:00
Speaker 2: Elden Leez elden has also been a guest on this.
• 21:02
Speaker 2: Podcast he's the administrator of THE. Epa we had.
• 21:06
  Speaker 1: THAT i didn't realize he's a. LAWYER i had multiple
• 21:09
Speaker 1: people texting Me they're, like how is the guy in THE.
• 21:11
Speaker 1: Epa i'm, like, well he's a, Lawyer and they had
• 21:13
Speaker 1: no idea he was a. LAWYER i, mean He's his
• 21:15
Speaker 1: name has been circulating like inside Of washington and outside
• 21:18
Speaker 1: Of washington as well.
• 21:20
Speaker 2: Well, Listen lee has done a very effective job AT.
• 21:23
Speaker 2: Epa and by the, way it is hard to do
• 21:24
Speaker 2: the job ahead of THE epa if you're not a,
• 21:26
Speaker 2: lawyer because it's dense and complicated laws and regulations and understanding.
• 21:31
Speaker 2: It And lee's been really effective in the regulatory reform
• 21:35
Speaker 2: agenda and in pulling back the job killing regulations that
• 21:39
Speaker 2: did so much damage under The biden. Administration AND i
• 21:43
Speaker 2: suspect that's one REASON i haven't had this conversation With President,
• 21:46
Speaker 2: trump BUT i suspect that's one reason why he's Considering
• 21:49
Speaker 2: lee's because he's been, very very effective in a, complicated
• 21:53
Speaker 2: difficult cabinet. Position now D oj is qualitatively. Different and,
• 21:59
Speaker 2: Listen i'll say for. Me you, know in the First trump,
• 22:02
Speaker 2: ADMINISTRATION i talked to The president quite seriously about possibly
• 22:09
Speaker 2: being a g and In trump. WON i went in
• 22:13
Speaker 2: and spent about four and a half hours In Trump
• 22:16
Speaker 2: tower the week after the election In november twenty, sixteen
• 22:19
Speaker 2: AND i had a conversation with him on a number of,
• 22:22
Speaker 2: fronts AND i made WHAT i would say would be
• 22:25
Speaker 2: a half hearted play for Ag WHAT i told him
• 22:29
Speaker 2: at the, time AS i, said, LISTEN i recognize back
• 22:32
Speaker 2: then THAT i was pretty late on the, train AND i,
• 22:36
Speaker 2: said there are others Like Jeff sessions Or giuliani Or.
• 22:40
Speaker 2: Christy if they want to be, ag you probably should
• 22:43
Speaker 2: should give it to. Them but if you wanted to
• 22:46
Speaker 2: talk to me about, This i'd be willing to have that.
• 22:48
Speaker 2: Conversation we did talk about. It we had a good.
• 22:50
Speaker 2: Conversation The president made the decision to go With Jeff.
• 22:53
Speaker 2: Sessions jeff was a good friend of, mine was a
• 22:55
Speaker 2: colleague in The. SENATE i was happy for, him AND
• 22:58
Speaker 2: i will tell, you in the eleven years since that,
• 23:01
Speaker 2: CONVERSATION i have been grateful every day since then THAT
• 23:05
Speaker 2: i did not go down that, path because let's be,
• 23:07
Speaker 2: clear IF i had become, ag you're.
• 23:10
Speaker 1: Gonna ask that. QUESTION i was gonna ask the question,
• 23:12
Speaker 1: like did you ever look back and you're, like that
• 23:14
Speaker 1: was the best conversation ever to be laid on the?
• 23:16
  Speaker 3: Train?
• 23:17
Speaker 2: Uh, oh, yes, yes, Yes and LOOK i made a
• 23:20
Speaker 2: half hearted play on. PURPOSE i know how to make
• 23:23
Speaker 2: a full throat at, play BUT i THOUGHT i perceived
• 23:26
Speaker 2: the downsides of the, job AND i liked WHAT i
• 23:28
Speaker 2: was doing, Then SO i was, like but to be,
• 23:31
Speaker 2: honest the REASON i made that the half hearted play
• 23:34
Speaker 2: is is just for love of the. GAME i, mean,
• 23:36
Speaker 2: frankly the job Of attorney. GENERAL i would really enjoy that.
• 23:39
Speaker 2: Job it didn't make any, sense it wasn't consistent with
• 23:43
Speaker 2: WHAT i wanted to, do but it just would be fun.
• 23:47
  Speaker 3: In.
• 23:48
Speaker 2: Hindsight SO i will tell. You nine months into, it
• 23:52
Speaker 2: there was a story in The New York. Times this
• 23:54
Speaker 2: is would have BEEN i Think august of twenty. Seventeen,
• 23:57
Speaker 2: OH i, REMEMBER i, remember well where you're?
• 23:59
Speaker 1: Going it is keep?
• 24:00
Speaker 2: Going and the story Said trump is thinking about Firing
• 24:04
Speaker 2: Jeff's sessions and he's talking To cruise about replacing, him and,
• 24:09
Speaker 2: Look sessions has been a friend of mine. Forever SO
• 24:11
Speaker 2: i Called. Jeff and by the, Way jeff knew THAT
• 24:14
Speaker 2: i talked to him about. It he was In Trump
• 24:16
Speaker 2: tower the DAY i was there talking to about. It
• 24:18
Speaker 2: we were very open and transparent with each. Other AND
• 24:21
Speaker 2: i Called jeff the day that story came out AND i, said, Hey,
• 24:24
Speaker 2: JEFF i just wanted you to hear from. Me this
• 24:27
Speaker 2: IS bs LIKE i have. NOT i, said you. KNEW
• 24:30
Speaker 2: i had a conversation with The president Back november of last,
• 24:33
Speaker 2: YEAR i. Said since, Then i've not had another conversation
• 24:36
Speaker 2: ABOUT ag AND i just Told JEFF i want you
• 24:38
Speaker 2: to hear from. ME i don't want the job AND
• 24:40
Speaker 2: i wouldn't take it if, Offered so this is not
• 24:43
Speaker 2: coming from. Me and, Listen jeff had a rough time
• 24:46
Speaker 2: in that. Position Bill, barr who succeeded, him started out really,
• 24:50
Speaker 2: well but at the end he had a rough time
• 24:52
Speaker 2: in that. Position that has been a. Job Pam bondy
• 24:55
Speaker 2: did a lot of, good but getting fired in front
• 24:58
Speaker 2: of the world is not. Fun it's not. FUN i
• 25:02
Speaker 2: put out a statement saying saying how MUCH i support
• 25:05
Speaker 2: and like, her AND i sent her a text just, saying,
• 25:08
Speaker 2: Hey i'm praying for you and thinking for thinking of,
• 25:10
Speaker 2: you and thank you for being a patriot and answer
• 25:13
Speaker 2: in the. Call but all of which is to, SAY
• 25:17
Speaker 2: i am immensely glad THAT i stayed in The. Senate
• 25:20
Speaker 2: i've Been Donald trump's single strongest ally in The senate
• 25:23
Speaker 2: for more than a. Decade BUT i very much like
• 25:27
Speaker 2: the arrangement of working hand in hand with The president
• 25:29
Speaker 2: from The senate rather THAN Dj whoever gets the, nod
• 25:33
Speaker 2: whether It's Todd blanche Or Lee zelden or, WHOEVER i
• 25:37
Speaker 2: will work with them to help them get. CONFIRMED i
• 25:39
Speaker 2: will work hand in hand with, them just LIKE i
• 25:41
Speaker 2: did With Pam bondy And Bill barr And Jeff, sessions
• 25:45
Speaker 2: because the mission OF doj is massively important And President
• 25:50
Speaker 2: trump deserves a, strong, effective incredibly Principled Attorney.
• 25:56
Speaker 1: General Mark wain got. Confirmed it was actually pretty. Easy
• 25:59
Speaker 1: do you expect the same thing for whoever The president
• 26:01
Speaker 1: picks real quick in this position as? Well even with
• 26:04
  Speaker 1: a slim.
• 26:04
Speaker 2: Majority, probably although Like Mark, WAYNE i think it'll be
• 26:08
Speaker 2: largely a party line. Vote Mark wayne got only Two
• 26:11
Speaker 2: democrats who voted for. HIM i think no matter who
• 26:14
Speaker 2: who The president, appoints The democrats will will will party
• 26:18
Speaker 2: line vote against, them with a possible exception of one or.
• 26:21
Speaker 2: Two but if it's anything like if it's any reasonable appointment,
• 26:25
Speaker 2: APPOINTMENT i think you'll see The republicans line up and
• 26:27
Speaker 2: give The president at least fifty one.
• 26:29
Speaker 1: Votes all right. Center there was something very interesting that
• 26:32
Speaker 1: happened this. Week no one was really covering. It The
• 26:35
Speaker 1: New York, times, however did report on this that that
• 26:40
Speaker 1: radical leftist organization At blue may have Misled congress on
• 26:45
Speaker 1: And i'm quoting here vetting foreign, donations its lawyers, said,
• 26:50
Speaker 1: so just to be, clear another example Of democrats taking foreign,
• 26:54
Speaker 1: interference SOMETHING i thought they were totally against in our
• 26:56
Speaker 1: elections and or in our. Laws but, yeah not on this.
• 26:59
Speaker 1: One APPARENTLY fourgm dollars coming in and they may not
• 27:01
Speaker 1: have vetted the money at.
• 27:02
Speaker 2: All, so in a shocking, development rain fell, upwards fish began,
• 27:10
Speaker 2: flying birds began. Swimming, yes and The New York times
• 27:18
Speaker 2: actually reported, news do we.
• 27:20
Speaker 1: Do a golf cup for?
• 27:21
  Speaker 3: That Like Little?
• 27:22
Speaker 2: Masters it is shocking this, story and this is actually
• 27:27
Speaker 2: a bombshell story that that could potentially have very real.
• 27:31
Speaker 2: Consequences it's in The New York. Times the headline Is
• 27:35
Speaker 2: Act blue may have Misled congress on vetting foreign, donations
• 27:39
Speaker 2: its lawyers, Warn so understand the source of this Is
• 27:42
Speaker 2: covington And, burling which is a blue chip law firm
• 27:47
Speaker 2: IN dc that Were Joe biden's Former White house counsel
• 27:52
Speaker 2: was the lawyer For Act blue And Act blue is a.
• 27:56
Speaker 2: Powerhouse it has raised billions and billions of dollars For.
• 28:00
Speaker 1: Democrats say that, again not, millions billion hours, raids just
• 28:06
  Speaker 1: For democrats.
• 28:07
Speaker 2: That they flood money and they have all of these
• 28:09
Speaker 2: donors who their credit card information is set. In they're
• 28:12
Speaker 2: on auto contribute month after month after, month and it
• 28:15
Speaker 2: just floods. Cash now here's What The New York times.
• 28:18
Speaker 2: Reported The democratic fundraising group is facing investigations from The
• 28:21
Speaker 2: Justice department And Congressional republicans ahead of midterm. Elections in
• 28:26
Speaker 2: early twenty twenty, five a law firm working For, ActBlue
• 28:29
Speaker 2: The democratic fundraising, behemoth delivered the organization a startling. Warning
• 28:34
Speaker 2: the firm concluded That actblue's chief executive had given a
• 28:38
Speaker 2: potentially misleading response To Congressional republican investigators in a twenty
• 28:43
Speaker 2: twenty three letter explaining how the organization vetted donations to
• 28:48
Speaker 2: ensure that they were not illegally coming from foreign. Citizens.
• 28:54
Speaker 2: Quote this presents a substantial risk For Act, blue the
• 28:58
Speaker 2: law Firm comington And berlin wrote in one of the two.
• 29:00
Speaker 2: Memos one memo raised the specter of criminal investigation of
• 29:04
Speaker 2: prosecutors believed That Act blue had tried to conceal facts
• 29:08
Speaker 2: about its efforts to prevent foreign. Contributions the memos instigated
• 29:13
Speaker 2: a meltdown at the highest levels Of Act, blue one
• 29:16
Speaker 2: of The Democratic party's most vital financial. ORGANS a series
• 29:20
Speaker 2: of top officials resigned in quick. Succession Act blue is
• 29:26
Speaker 2: now all but declaring war on its past, lawyers an
• 29:28
Speaker 2: extraordinary turn of event at a moment When President trump
• 29:32
Speaker 2: has already ordered A Justice department investigation into the. Organization
• 29:37
Speaker 2: democrats are nervous that any additional upheaval At Act blue
• 29:40
Speaker 2: could destabilize the critical fundraising apparatus ahead of the midterm.
• 29:45
Speaker 2: Elections all levels Of democratic, candidates from incumbent presidents to
• 29:52
Speaker 2: school board, aspirants Use Act blue to raise campaign money
• 29:56
Speaker 2: from online. Donors the platform has processed get this, number
• 30:02
Speaker 2: nearly nineteen billion with a b billion dollars in contributions
• 30:09
Speaker 2: since it's founding in two thousand and, four building a
• 30:12
Speaker 2: donor database with millions of credit card numbers that is
• 30:15
Speaker 2: unmatched In american. Politics nearly twenty three thousand candidates and
• 30:22
Speaker 2: groups use the site in twenty twenty. Five in one,
• 30:26
Speaker 2: year nearly twenty three thousand candidates in groups and raised
• 30:30
Speaker 2: almost one point eight billion dollars from fifty two million,
• 30:35
Speaker 2: contributions some of which recur every. Month and what is
• 30:40
Speaker 2: striking is The covington memos, said and here's the really
• 30:46
Speaker 2: killer sentence. Quote it can be alleged That ActBlue accepted
• 30:53
Speaker 2: and or facilitated the acceptance of foreign national contributions Into american.
• 30:59
Speaker 2: Elections in, addition Because Act blue staff was aware that
• 31:05
Speaker 2: its system was not as robust as, necessary it could
• 31:08
Speaker 2: be alleged that these violations were knowing and, willful a
• 31:13
Speaker 2: standard that both increases the penalties THE fec might seek
• 31:17
Speaker 2: and gives The Justice department jurisdiction for a potential criminal.
• 31:22
Speaker 2: Investigation this is a, big big.
• 31:27
Speaker 1: Deal, yeah when you say big, deal And i'm a pessimist,
• 31:31
Speaker 1: now like a lot of, people and every time we
• 31:34
Speaker 1: see some things like this, happen then it's, like all, right,
• 31:36
Speaker 1: well is there going to be people that go to
• 31:37
Speaker 1: jail and be? Arrested and then it seems like nothing ever.
• 31:40
Speaker 1: Happens so when you say this is a big big,
• 31:43
Speaker 1: deal are you saying that there could actually genuinely be
• 31:46
Speaker 1: people that get in trouble for this or is it
• 31:48
Speaker 1: just gonna be like someone will fine and we move,
• 31:50
Speaker 1: on or even nothing at.
• 31:51
Speaker 2: All, look there could be people criminally, prosecuted there could
• 31:55
Speaker 2: be people going to, jail but that's not really the biggest.
• 31:57
Speaker 2: Consequence the biggest consequence is there's a criminal. Investigation and
• 32:02
Speaker 2: this Is covington And, berling a Big democrat law firm
• 32:06
Speaker 2: that was the lawyer For Act, blue telling, them holy,
• 32:09
Speaker 2: crap you guys have screwed up and you've got real.
• 32:12
Speaker 2: Exposure and then this Is The New York, times the
• 32:16
Speaker 2: official mouthpiece for The, democrats reporting on. It the biggest
• 32:22
Speaker 2: political consequence would be if a criminal investigation shuts Down
• 32:26
Speaker 2: Act blue between now and the, election Because Act, blue
• 32:30
