I chirp like a swallow or crane; I moan like a dove. My eyes grow weak as I look upward. O Lord, I am oppressed; be my security.” — Isaiah 38:14

Because believers already hold citizenship in heaven, their current groaning is not the end; endurance is how a people secured by God's promise wait. The same mercy that saves the soul will complete the work, and the returning Savior guarantees that every cry of distress becomes certain gladness.
