- 0:20Jasmith. Yes, my wife and I have decided to tell you some
- 0:26aspects about our marriage, how we met, how at some point our life

- 1:57well prepare yourself, because this is only a part of our life testimony.
- 2:07It is similar to the story of many women who are here this morning,
- 2:14the role of wife, mother, woman, with all the disagreements of life,
- 2:23beautiful things, sad things, good things, bad things, triumphs,
- 2:27failures, joys, sorrows, all this understanding of situations and circumstances that are
- 2:32there in the life of each person, that are there in the history that
- 2:43one has to tell. Today, together with my husband, we want to
- 2:55tell you a little bit about our testimony, but we want to focus on
- 3:04everything not on what good we are and how good we do things right for
- 3:07nothing. We want to focus on telling you that we find Christ in our
- 3:15heart, in the redemption of our lives, in the redemption of our home.
- 3:23And that made a difference, because before me particularly, I had the
- 3:30story of my life with little meaning, but it really had a different meaning
- 3:40the day that Christ rewrote that story. I met Joseph and when I met
- 3:49my husband, I thought my husband was perfect. I thought that in him
- 3:57I would find everything I was aspiring, longing, that he would meet all
- 4:02the expectations and would meet all the requirements and needs that I had. It
- 4:11was going to be perfect, the best, confidant friend, friend, companion
- 4:17of dreams, companion of the projects we were going to build, that we
- 4:23were going to do, that we were going to accomplish many things together and,
- 4:27of course, that I was never going to fail, that I was
- 4:31always going to be that person who was going to work for and for my
- 4:34benefit, that was perfect. I had forgotten and sometimes we forget that you
- 4:38and I are married to a sinner, to the person who one day in
- 4:43life can fail us, that one day in life will make us suffer is
- 4:46forgotten. That we just have those expectations and I had those expectations because living
- 4:58in my life, in my house, different things. I grew up in
- 5:02a home where none of that was, none of that was visible. I
- 5:08had the image of a man, a father or a husband, who is
- 5:13a person who can be violent, who can be aggressive, who screams,
- 5:17who puts a mishandled, unloving authority. That was the image I had of
- 5:26the male chauvinist man who can be on the street all he wants and do
- 5:30whatever he wants with his life, while the woman stayed in the house.
- 5:35Because that' s what they told me at home. I met Jazret.
- 5:42She was eighteen years old, a village girl, because at that time she
- 5:48asked for a study was a newly graduated town from her high school. I
- 5:53was his bachelor' s degree as few women, as no one had until
- 6:01that moment fallen in love, lost me I liked him since the first moment
- 6:06he saw me he was excited. I met that naive girl and took advantage
- 6:16of her because, up to that point in my life, I had had
- 6:23little success with the women as a child. We played dad and mom and
- 6:27I had to play little graced mother- in- law and I grew up
- 6:41with traumas as if I didn' t have the right to happiness, as
- 6:46well as an education that was very strict, full of blows, abuse,
- 6:49bad words directed at me. Because besides, since I was the madman of
- 6:54the family, he who didn' t meet anyone, the one who always
- 6:57walked under a table, bubbling with sticks and pebbles and was a rare specimen,
- 7:02little I was going to be able to achieve in life, because that
- 7:05' s what I was taught in the house. In fact, we can
- 7:11see how we end up being affected by the way they created us. They
- 7:16created me in one way, they created my husband in another way. And
- 7:21marriage ends up being affected, because when we go to the altar, when
- 7:28we get engaged and make that pact, what do we do? We bring
- 7:30two different worlds, my world, my thought, my culture, my way
- 7:36of proceeding, his world, his thought, the way of doing things.
- 7:41And we take those two worlds. And obviously, when we put those worlds
- 7:46together, it creates an explosion, conflicts, and it' s supremely difficult.
- 7:50So, when we go to the word of God, we understand that
- 7:55it is not about bringing two worlds to have one. If it' s
- 7:59not about abandoning two worlds, because that makes a difference. You leave your
- 8:03world, you leave your things. I do it and together we can create
- 8:09a new world. It is podcast number four hundred and three, but there
- 8:20are four hundred and two more waiting for you in José Ordoñez Cristiano com remember
