- 0:09Speaker 2: Well?
- 0:09Speaker 1: Is it a list? It's a list of five things.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, it's radio from Hell with another list because
- 0:17Speaker 2: people love a good list x ninety six.
- 0:21Speaker 1: And then I could even segue into foods you don't
- 0:23Speaker 1: have to refrigerate. But I got a lot of stuff here.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Number one. Here these are myths that you probably always
- 0:30Speaker 1: thought were true, especially when you were a kid. Number one.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Ginger ale relieves stomach aches. Yes, no, no, will actual
- 0:39Speaker 1: ginger can help ease a stomach ache? Most commercial ginger
- 0:42Speaker 1: ales don't actually have any ginger in the oh, the
- 0:46Speaker 1: childhood myths persists. His parents give ginger ale to kids
- 0:49Speaker 1: because it's sweet and bubbly. It makes parents feel better
- 0:52Speaker 1: that they're doing something for their kid. Sometimes though, if
- 0:56Speaker 1: it makes you burp, that's not that clear, is it. That's
- 0:59Speaker 1: really what it is? If you can buy ginger beer,
- 1:03Speaker 1: that is it has real ginger, like a bundle berg
- 1:06Speaker 1: or something like that. My my wife and child have
- 1:09Speaker 1: the tendency to get carsick, but if they remember to
- 1:13Speaker 1: take ginger peel pills, before we go on, you know,
- 1:17Speaker 1: extended trips that will stop that gum stays in your
- 1:22Speaker 1: stomach for seven years. Of course I always knew that
- 1:25Speaker 1: was fake. I used to. I used to think it
- 1:29Speaker 1: went to Somebody told me, you will go into your
- 1:32Speaker 1: appendix and flog up your appendix. Yeah, chewing gum. Can
- 1:37Speaker 1: experts say now you probably shouldn't swallow gum because substantial
- 1:42Speaker 1: amounts might cause an intestinal blockage. Yeah, but no, it
- 1:46Speaker 1: doesn't stay in your stomach for seven years. You shouldn't
- 1:48Speaker 1: swim for thirty minutes after eating. That's a myth. Yeah
- 1:53Speaker 1: you can, you can. You can go go swimming after
- 1:55Speaker 1: you eat. It's fine. Chicken soup cures of cold? Does
- 1:59Speaker 1: anybody ever really? It would be comforting.
- 2:03Speaker 2: It sounds good. A ginger ale and some chicken soup.
- 2:06Speaker 1: That's good. And uh and number five, you will ruin
- 2:12Speaker 1: your eyes if you sit too close to the TV.
- 2:15Speaker 1: That's what they told me all the time when I
- 2:17Speaker 1: was a kid, and I ended up being extremely nearsighted.
- 2:20Speaker 1: And I know you just assumed I thought that it
- 2:23Speaker 1: was true. No, it's it's not true. Sitting too close
- 2:26Speaker 1: to the TV will not ruin your eyes. I mean
- 2:30Speaker 1: it could cause your eyes to get, you know, to
- 2:33Speaker 1: strain them and you get you know, uncomfortable. But it's
- 2:36Speaker 1: not gonna you won't.
- 2:38Speaker 2: How about looking at your phone, looking down at your
- 2:40Speaker 2: phone and uh giving you a hump on your What about?
- 2:47Speaker 1: That's all that's you're trying to You're trying to excuse
- 2:50Speaker 1: the fact that you're you're getting a dowagersump. That's what
- 2:54Speaker 1: they call a dowager's hump.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Saying, don't don't be bent over your phone.
- 2:59Speaker 1: I've I've heard about that. Huh. I don't think it's true. Uh.
- 3:07Speaker 1: And you don't have to refrigerate ketchup? Did you now?
- 3:12Speaker 1: We do? Yeah? I do? I do too. I bet
- 3:15Speaker 1: most people do. Restaurants don't, but you yeah, I mean

- 3:49Speaker 1: who is a school teacher? Does I see the phone
- 3:52Speaker 1: hump at my school on students all the time? Yeah,

- 3:58Speaker 1: fixture or is it just because.

- 4:03Speaker 2: your shoulders and don't do it?
- 4:06Speaker 1: Put your shoulders or or And we could make a
- 4:09Speaker 1: million dollars with this, and we could get Richard karn
- 4:12Speaker 1: to advertise it. We could build a special little brace
- 4:15Speaker 1: that you put on keep your shoulders back. Yeah, yeah,
- 4:20Speaker 1: special little brace that won't let you bend forward like that.
- 4:23Speaker 1: You'll have to bring the phone up to look at it. Sorry,
