Hi, I'm Jay Fallon, thank you for listening to the slippery
• 0:08
slope so I want to read to you. This headline that comes from
• 0:11
UPI news, it says Ayatollah khomeini's nice arrested after
• 0:16
she Compares Iran's supreme leader to Hitler and Mussolini
• 0:21
so far a day, mourad Connie, the niece of Iran's supreme leader,
• 0:26
Ayatollah. Ali Khamenei has compared to um
• 0:30
Uncle to fascist dictators like Adolf, Hitler Benito Mussolini
• 0:34
she's quoted as saying, how long do we have to witness oppression
• 0:38
by political or to Kratz in any part of this world?
• 0:42
Isn't the experience of Hitler Mussolini?
• 0:44
Qaddafi. Saddam Hussein kamini and the
• 0:48
his last one Comin, a enough word.
• 0:51
Can't, he said, so more carnies comments came in the form of a
• 0:55
video message which is posted to YouTube and Twitter on.
• 1:00
By her brother my mood and murdered Connie.
• 1:03
It was not immediately clear? When the message was recorded
• 1:06
and my mood said she was arrested and taken to prison on
• 1:11
Wednesday? See like I said these people
• 1:14
they put up these messages, she's put up this post knowing
• 1:17
  full. Well the ramifications that
• 1:19
would come swiftly imprisonment short time later and yet we in
• 1:26
the west you know will sell you were going to wear a pretty
• 1:28
  little colorful out. Armband.
• 1:30
And isn't that beautiful and brave of us when in actual fact,
• 1:35
this is actual courage. What this lady here is doing so
• 1:40
to continue on to says all humanity is observing that.
• 1:44
Iranian people with empty hands with exemplary courage and
• 1:48
bravery of fighting with the evil forces murdered murdered.
• 1:52
Connie said at this point in time, the people of Iran are
• 1:56
carrying the burden of this. Heavy human response.
• 2:00
Ability Alone by paying with their lives.
• 2:03
So more attorney also criticized apparent in action other than
• 2:08
short and ineffective statements by the United Nations or as a
• 2:13
lot of people like to call them the United nothing's as who
• 2:17
countries suffers under obvious cruel oppression and as in 2022
• 2:23
being been the Showcase of the absolute pathetic nature.
• 2:29
Of the United Nations. Some murdered Connie, also
• 2:33
blasted the ridiculous and laughable sanctions that have
• 2:37
  been levied against Iranian officials.
• 2:40
So she goes on to say that for the first time in human history,
• 2:44
women are dictating their hidden power over this patriarchal
• 2:49
patriarchal society and showing with all the courage that the
• 2:53
place of real power is in the thought and not in the muscle.
• 2:57
She said, so more akane, go. Called on people worldwide to
• 3:01
tell their governments to stop supporting this murderous and
• 3:05
child killing regime. Which she said is not loyal to,
• 3:10
any of the religious principles of Islam.
• 3:13
The brave Iranians are actually at war with all the government's
• 3:18
  that support these oppressive rulers.
• 3:20
She said, Samara Connie and her brother are the children of
• 3:23
kaminis sister battery has seen any company and her husband, Ali
• 3:29
Tehran She was previously arrested in January after.
• 3:33
She praised the Widow of Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi who was
• 3:38
ousted by this 1979 Islamic revolution.
• 3:43
So volka took the United Nations High, Commissioner for the High
• 3:49
Commissioner for human rights said in Geneva on Thursday that
• 3:53
the human rights situation is deteriorating in Iran.
• 3:57
So it pains me to see what is happening in the country.
• 3:59
Tree, said, the images of children killed of women beaten
• 4:03
in the streets of people sentenced to death.
• 4:06
Turkish set goes on to say that we have seen waves of protests
• 4:10
over the past years, calling for justice, equality dignity, and
• 4:15
respect the human rights. They have been met with violence
• 4:18
  and repression. The unnecessary and
• 4:20
disproportionate use of force must come to an end yet again,
• 4:25
just more words more hot air. Nothing actually, Being done,
• 4:30
that needs to be done. So, Turk is said that 14,000
• 4:34
people including children have been arrested in Iran since
• 4:38
protests began, which was sparked by the death of Masa
• 4:42
Army knee in September. A meanie who is 22 died after
• 4:47
she was, detained by police for not wearing her hijab properly.
• 4:52
So at least 21 arrested during the protest face the death
• 4:56
penalty and at least six have already been sentenced to the
• 4:59
death for charges of enmity against God and Corruption on
• 5:05
Earth, Listen to. I just leave this article.
• 5:08
What this lady here is doing what this article really
• 5:11
emphasizes, is The Bravery. The courage that is being shown
• 5:15
by so many people in Iran by continuing to stand up and speak
• 5:20
against these atrocities and speak out.
• 5:23
Even though, they know for sure that they will be arrested and
• 5:27
quite possibly killed Andy. If they not killed, they will be
• 5:31
beaten while they're in jail. Now, if you want to compare
• 5:35
this, to some of the acts of so-called bravery that we that
• 5:39
we call out here in Australia here in Australia, just this
• 5:43
morning, one of the main news, stories, that was on our
• 5:48
one-hour television. This morning on the, on, the ABC
• 5:51
was about The Bravery shown by a, by a basketball player here
• 5:57
in Australia, because he was the first First, the first top-tier
• 6:02
Sportsman to ever come out as being lgbtq that here in
• 6:09
Australia is considered as being brave.
• 6:12
Now, I'm, you know, I'm not going to downplay how nervous or
• 6:16
how scared he might have been, but that is not bravery.
• 6:20
Give me a break. Bravery is what these people in
• 6:23
Iran are doing when they stand up against tyranny.
• 6:26
It is not brave, just because you want to come.
• 6:29
And advertise your sexuality, and feel the need to Define
• 6:34
Yourself by who you have sex with and then tell everyone that
• 6:39
you're being brave. Just because you were scared to
• 6:42
tell your teammates that is not bravery.
• 6:47
What this woman in Iran is doing, that is brave.
• 6:51
That is true leadership standing up against the face of actual
• 6:57
tyranny. Regardless Is of the threats of
• 7:00
death and harmed, your life still standing up.
• 7:04
And speaking against tyranny, that is bravery.
• 7:07
That is leadership. That is my opinion.
• 7:10
Please let me know what you think.
• 7:14
Am I being too harsh? On all these people are stand up
• 7:16
and say hey am I brave because I come out as lgbtq rainbow or we
• 7:22
just misusing the English language of these days where we
• 7:26
want to describe every little thought in our head, as being
• 7:30
brave, and Western Society has gotten soft.
• 7:34
That's my opinion. Thank you for listening to the
• 7:37
  slippery slope.
