- 0:37Initially his ideas shocked Victorian society, challenging religious views by proposing a
- 0:43common ancestry for animals and humans.
- 0:47Over time, Darwin's secular approach to biology gained traction among the growing
- 0:52community of professional scientists.
- 0:55By his death in 1882, his evolutionary concepts had permeated science, literature, and politics.

- 3:26In local news, in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood, a stunning event called Bostonhenge occurs
- 3:32where the sunset aligns perfectly with east-west streets.
- 3:37This year, the best viewing is around Steward and Beacon Streets, facing west.
- 3:44The phenomenon, reminiscent of Stonehenge's alignment with solstices, creates a striking
- 3:49orange glow.
- 3:51Local meteorologist Dave Epstein suggests Sunday's sunset at 5.08 p.m. offers the
- 3:58ideal angle, with the effect lasting for about 15 minutes.
- 4:03If you missed it, another chance arrives in late October.
- 4:07This natural spectacle also occurs in New York City, known as Manhattanhenge.
- 4:19Now on to sports.
- 4:21Super Bowl 58 was a good one.
- 4:23It was a close game until the end with plenty of back-and-forth action.
- 4:28But it's official, a new dynasty is born.
- 4:32The Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers, 25-22 in overtime, to earn their second
- 4:39Super Bowl win in a row.
- 4:42Congratulations guys, you deserve it.
- 4:45Last night in the NBA, the Celtics on the road beat the Heat 110-106.
- 4:54Kristaps Porzingis experienced another injury setback during the game.
- 4:59In the third quarter, after contesting a shot, Porzingis seemed uneasy and headed to the
- 5:04locker room.
- 5:06Despite this, the Celtics have indicated that his injury, a low back contusion, isn't
- 5:12severe.
- 5:13At the time of his exit, Porzingis had contributed significantly with 20 points, 8 rebounds,
- 5:20and 3 assists.
- 5:22This isn't his first injury this season.
- 5:24Previously, he sprained an ankle but returned swiftly.
- 5:29His overall participation has been limited, playing in 39 out of 53 games.
- 5:35The Celtics remain hopeful for his quick return.
- 5:39Last night, the Bruins, playing at home, lost to the Capitals 3-0.
- 5:45Swamen had 25 saves for the Bees, but he got no offense to help him out.
- 5:52In top news.
- 5:54In Tarp, Sweden, archaeologists discovered an ancient stone burial chamber from around
- 6:003500 BC, making it one of Scandinavia's oldest.
- 6:06The site revealed a peculiar finding.
- 6:09All skulls, and most large bones, were missing from the remains, which is an unusual deviation
- 6:15from typical burial patterns.
- 6:19This absence has baffled researchers, who initially thought the site's significance
- 6:24lay in its age and construction.
- 6:26The chamber contained remains from infants to elderly individuals, with no signs of violent
- 6:32death.
- 6:33Investigations continue, focusing on DNA analysis, to uncover possible causes of death.
- 6:41The researchers suspect ritual practices might explain the missing bones, but the mystery
- 6:46remains unsolved.
- 6:50In business news.
- 6:52This week at TechCrunch Mobility Conference, major updates abound.
- 6:58Uber achieves a full-year profit, a first for its operations.
- 7:03And electric vehicles, Ford's secretive low-cost EV project in California and Fiskars Woes,
- 7:10take center stage.
- 7:11Also, Joby Aviation plans to launch their air taxi services in Dubai by 2026.
- 7:18Finally, the EV landscape sees dynamic movements, with Arrival, electric delivery vans, facing
- 7:26financial challenges in the UK, and Rydian, set to unveil a new, more affordable SUV.
- 7:35Stay tuned for more news from the conference this week.
- 7:39In crypto movement, Bitcoin is over $48,000, Ethereum is about $2,500, and Solana is $103.
- 7:52Moving on to a more local vibe.

- 8:37And now, back to the show.
- 8:42Let's talk tech.
- 8:43The latest iPhone software update, still in beta testing, introduces a significant update
- 8:49for Apple Cash users.
- 8:52It now allows the generation of a virtual card number, enabling payments even in places
- 8:58where Apple Pay isn't accepted.
- 9:01This feature addresses a major limitation of Apple's payment service, now making it
- 9:06more versatile.
- 9:08Users can easily set up this virtual card through a simple two-step process in the wallet
- 9:13app.
- 9:15The virtual card includes an expiration date and security code, while maintaining a separate
- 9:20number for Apple Pay transactions.
- 9:23This enhancement offers greater convenience, especially since there are still numerous
- 9:28locations that don't support Apple Pay.
- 9:31Additionally, it eliminates the need for transferring money to a bank, which could incur a fee for
- 9:36instant transfers.
- 9:39And in entertainment news, in this year's Super Bowl, country music icon Reba McIntyre
- 9:46was set to sing the national anthem, sparking interest in prop bets on the performance's
- 9:51duration.
- 9:53The over-under was set to 90 and a half seconds.
- 9:56Historically, McIntyre's renditions are notably brief, influenced by her distinctive yodeling
- 10:03style.
- 10:04Yodeling, a vocal technique involving rapid, flexible shifts between chest and head voice,
- 10:10often leads to quicker song interpretations.
- 10:13McIntyre's past anthem times, like 72 seconds in 1974 and 66 seconds in 1985, exemplify
- 10:22this trend.
- 10:24However, as she has matured, her times have slightly lengthened due to a mix of increased
- 10:30vocal control and decreased physical vocal agility.
- 10:34Interestingly, McIntyre's rhythm has been inconsistent in past performances, primarily
- 10:41due to her singing a cappella.
- 10:43This variability might influence her upcoming Super Bowl performance time.
- 10:49In the end, you should have bet the over, because Reba went 95 seconds.
- 10:54And if he did go with the over, then winner-winner chicken dinner.
- 10:58Well, alrighty folks, it's time for the quote of the day.
- 11:03And today, our quote comes from Super Bowl champion, Travis Kelce.
- 11:08And last night, he said, Viva Las Vegas.
- 11:13Brilliant.
- 11:14And that's a wrap for this morning.
- 11:18Remember to stay tuned tomorrow for more news and updates.
- 11:21Have an amazing day, my good friends.
