- 7:24Hello there everyone. Welcome to the TTOR show.
- 7:29I. Of course, if you couldn't tell
- 7:30by the little description down here, MTTOR and the guy to what
- 7:35appears to be my left is none other than Brett Keene.
- 7:38Say hello, Brett. Hey everybody, make sure you
- 7:42connect with us on Rumble and Twitter.
- 7:44We're streaming through a lot of different locations right now,
- 7:47including YouTube. Follow us everywhere and of
- 7:50course the stream will be up on the radio.
- 7:53Absolutely. And that was actually a point I
- 7:55was going to bring up really quick, too, is that tonight
- 7:58we're streaming on multiple platforms.
- 8:00We're streaming to Brett's Twitter accounts.
- 8:03We're streaming to my Twitter accounts.
- 8:05We're streaming to my Rumble channel.
- 8:07We're streaming to Brett's Rumble channel and then Brett
- 8:10threw in his YouTube channel just to have an even Steven 5,
- 8:14even though that's an odd number, Maybe 5's.
- 8:17The magic number, I don't know, equals 5 fingers or one hand.
- 8:21But yet we're streaming on all the platforms and should things
- 8:24get weird on YouTube, you know that you have two different
- 8:27Rumble channels and two different Twitter accounts.
- 8:30You can watch the stream on if you need to, but you should be
- 8:33able to find the links to my Rumble and Twitter channels in
- 8:38the description box of my streams so that that's something
- 8:43that you guys can look for there.
- 8:45And As for Brett, he can give you the links to the other
- 8:48streams if he so chooses. So I hear that you were going
- 8:53through a rough time recently with your family and your
- 8:56daughter. What was the surgery she needed?
- 8:59Well she was born with meningitis which caused a
- 9:02condition called the hydrocephalus.
- 9:05It's a condition it causes what in the old days was referred to
- 9:09as water in the brain. So what ends up happening is she
- 9:14this, she went through 9 surgeries as a baby and then
- 9:18recently she was doing just fine but suddenly she started falling
- 9:22down. Then my wife took her to the
- 9:26hospital. We weren't sure it was going to
- 9:28be a serious deal or I would have went along with at this
- 9:32point. Unfortunately, my daughter had a
- 9:34seizure while in the parking lot of the hospital.
- 9:37Ended up having some doctors and nurses come out.
- 9:40They did the surgery. We expected this to be months
- 9:43and months of issue, but they did it and said she could be
- 9:48home in the next couple days and she is home right now.
- 9:51She's recovering, she's watching television and hopefully I don't
- 9:56have the volume up so high that she's got to hear me and hear
- 9:58mumbling and incoherent as her daddy tends to do.
- 10:02But she's she's good and that's why I'm in a more upseat type of
- 10:06mood right now. Yeah, as bad as what she went
- 10:09through this past weekend is, that is quite the good news to
- 10:13hear that she's already home and recovering.
- 10:16So that is definitely a bit of a miracle. 5:00 in the morning on
- 10:21New Year's. Oof.
- 10:23Goodness gracious, yeah. That's that's a real shame.
- 10:28But even though she is doing a lot better now, I think before
- 10:31we get into the stream further and more importantly, before we
- 10:35get to the main event, I'd like to take a minute to pray over
- 10:38her and your family. And, you know, just to cover
- 10:43those bases before we move forward.
- 10:45Because you and your family is more important to me than doing
- 10:50a presentation on the historical Jesus, even though that's why
- 10:53we're here tonight. You know what I mean?
- 10:56Well, I'm really happy to be here with you and the topic of
- 10:59Jesus Christ and what he's done in our lives and and all that,
- 11:03it it's definitely brings a more positive morale.
- 11:07So I really appreciate you doing this.
- 11:09You couldn't have picked a better time.
- 11:12Apparently so. But let's pray, Lord, I am glad
- 11:19that Brett and me and those who are watching this stream,
- 11:22whether it be on pecks or rumble or Brett's YouTube channel.
- 11:27I am glad that we can be together to basically congregate
- 11:32digitally, that we can exchange information and ideas and more
- 11:36importantly the truth about you without having to suffer any
- 11:40major legal repercussions. Although, Lord, you know that
- 11:44day is coming in the future, it is quite the good news to hear
- 11:49that Brett's daughter, despite having the falls and having the
- 11:53seizure outside the hospital and the surgery, it is nothing short
- 11:58of a miracle or your Providence, whichever one it is that she is
- 12:02already home and recovering. I just pray, Lord, that you keep
- 12:06your hand over her so that she can continue to progress in the
- 12:10healing process from this particular event.
- 12:13And I just pray that you keep your hand over the Keene family
- 12:17and that you will keep everyone in good health and good spirits
- 12:22and of sound mind, especially as we look at this crazy, wacky,
- 12:25tabacky world that we live in and we see all the insanity
- 12:29going on all around us, especially in Western countries
- 12:33like the United States of America.
- 12:36So I just pray that you be with the kings going forward, not
- 12:40just in what their daughter went through, but in all their
- 12:43affairs. And I pray for the spiritual
- 12:45well-being of everyone involved in this stream, either on the
- 12:49show or watching in the audience.
- 12:52In your name. Amen.
- 12:54Amen. All right.
- 12:56So I see you there, Joe, and I also see Beckel there.
- 13:03And well, yeah, I see that other guy too.
- 13:07But this is not a show about taxes.
- 13:12OK, Let's get my presentation on the road.
- 13:17Just got to see. OK, I guess I'll just have to
- 13:21share my entire screen share. Can you see my Openoffice
- 13:29Impress on screen, Brett? It's coming through quite clear,
- 13:33Sir. All right.
- 13:34And is it the full screen coming through too?
- 13:37It looks like everything you're trying to get on the screen is
- 13:40showing up well. So we're only seeing the slides,
- 13:43right? We're seeing the historical
- 13:46Jesus all the way down to Justin Derby with a blue background.
- 13:51Sweet. So as you can see from the top,
- 13:54tonight's presentation that I'm going to give is called The
- 13:57Historical Jesus. I actually put this presentation
- 14:00together back in 2017 and presented it to the now defunct
- 14:06Institute for Creation Science up in Gresham OR.
- 14:12But then a couple years ago, I gave this presentation on my
- 14:14Joshua TV channel under a different series that no longer
- 14:18exists. But you know, this is a new year
- 14:22and this is a new time because nobody on Rumble, nobody on
- 14:26Twitter, and certainly nobody on Quarter or any of the other
- 14:30sites I currently upload to have seen this presentation before.
- 14:35So this is a good time to do it for those guys.
- 14:38But it's also a good time to tell the truth about the
- 14:41historical Jesus and show that the Jesus of history and the
- 14:45Jesus of the Gospels are one and the same.
- 14:50Now, As for me, myself, in case you're wondering about who I am,
- 14:54I have been a follower of The Way or a Christian for 18 years.
- 14:59Basically, I got saved when I was 15 after growing up in a
- 15:02Christian home, and I'm still a Christian, a follower of the Way
- 15:06to this day. And I started doing apologetics
- 15:10back in 2013 on blogspot.com, which is where TTOR originated
- 15:16and I'm still going strong in that regard.
- 15:19Of course I'm now also ATV producer for my church, so a lot
- 15:24of my time is spent working on content for them instead of my
- 15:27own ministry, but I still find a way to get stuff like this done.
- 15:32This here on the screen is my website which you can find at
- 15:35TTOR dot site. It is a vast improvement over my
- 15:40previous website and here you can find all my social media
- 15:44accounts. You can find my past GOD TV,
- 15:46radio, live streams. You can find past episodes of
- 15:50the TTOR show. You can find guest speaking
- 15:53information about getting me as a guest speaker.
- 15:56You also have pages for the various books that I've done,
- 15:59and even though I haven't done a whole lot of them, you can even
- 16:02find blog posts on the site. This on screen is my YouTube
- 16:07channel, which I don't really care too much about at this
- 16:10point due to all the censorship they've been engaging in for a
- 16:13long time. But I'm still on YouTube and I
- 16:15still upload videos offline. I just don't stream there
- 16:19anymore. This is my Rumble channel, which
- 16:22is one of the places we're streaming to tonight.
- 16:25I've been getting a lot more engagement on Rumble than I have
- 16:28on YouTube for quite a while now, getting good views.
- 16:32The sub count is growing and it's just a more lively
- 16:36happening place for people like me who cover the kind of content
- 16:39that I do. I'm also on Bit Shoot where I
- 16:43have over 2300 Subs and I have I think close to 700,000 total
- 16:48video views now, making me one of the top creators on Bit
- 16:52Shoot. In terms of subscriber count and
- 16:55total video views, I think I'm actually in the top five or
- 16:58maybe the top 7% of creators on the site, which is quite
- 17:02remarkable to think about for someone like me.
- 17:06And then of course, I'm on YouTube, which is another
- 17:08YouTube alternative. And then I have 1/4 channel,
- 17:11which quarter is an open source, all tech alternative to YouTube
- 17:15that I started back in late May of last year.
- 17:18And I definitely cherish this website more than anything
- 17:21because I'm the one who runs it and manages it and there's real
- 17:25freedom for Christians to speak and tell the truth on my site.
- 17:29So that's another place you can find my ministry content.
- 17:33There's also my Ex account, which is another place we're
- 17:35streaming to tonight. Formerly known as Twitter and
- 17:39definitely much better now in terms of speaking your mind.
- 17:42And old Twitter was then here's my Gab account, which I still
- 17:46maintain and have over 1400 followers.
- 17:49Here I am on Getter, where I have over 400 followers, and
- 17:53here I am on Truth Social, which is Evil Orange Man's Twitter
- 17:56alternative, which I'm on there sometimes, and I usually just
- 18:01share my content on it, but it's a nice place to be if you're all
- 18:05about Evil Orange Man. And I say that in sarcasm, of
- 18:08course. And this is my Creation Social
- 18:11account, which Creation Social is an open source alt tech
- 18:14alternative to Facebook that I started over two years ago.
- 18:17It's still online, still going strong, and is a good place to
- 18:21go if you want to not just interact with me, but also
- 18:24interact with other people who like to speak their mind and not
- 18:27have to worry about censorship. So now that you know who I am a
- 18:33little bit and you know all the places you can find me, I think
- 18:36there's a very important question that needs to be asked.
- 18:39Why am I an apologist? Why am I doing this whole
- 18:42apologetics thing where I give a defense for the historical
- 18:46Jesus? Well, it's pretty simple
- 18:48actually. When you read the scriptures,
- 18:51you realize that we as followers of the Way are commanded to
- 18:54defend our faith through apologetics.
- 18:57First, Peter 315 says always be prepared to give an answer to
- 19:01everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you
- 19:05have. But do this with gentleness and
- 19:07respect. And when you look at the Greek
- 19:10words for being prepared to give an answer to everyone, I think
- 19:14that's the phrase where the Greek word apologia is found,
- 19:18which is where the word apologetics come from.
- 19:21And that's really all apologetics is.
- 19:23Well, it's part of what apologetics is.
- 19:26It's providing evidence for the truthfulness of your worldview,
- 19:29and in particular, it's in relation to the biblical
- 19:33worldview. But there is a second part to
- 19:36it, because not only are we called to defend our faith
- 19:39through apologetics, not only are we called to to defend our
- 19:42faith by presenting evidence of its truthfulness, but we're also
- 19:46called to debunk other worldviews.
- 19:48As Second Corinthians 10/5 says, we demolish arguments in every
- 19:52pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God,
- 19:56and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to
- 19:59Christ. So it's not just a matter of
- 20:02defending your worldview, it's also a command to debunk other
- 20:06worldviews, which is why I've made.
- 20:08So many videos over the years debunking older of creationism,
- 20:11debunking atheistic evolution, debunking at times other
- 20:15religions like Mormonism, Jehovah's Witnesses, or as I've
- 20:19done a lot, debunking atheism. So that command is why I do
- 20:25those kind of contents where I'm debunking other worldviews.
- 20:29Now tonight's presentation is 3 sections in particular, section
- 20:33one, what do the Roman historians say about Jesus?
- 20:37Because there's quite a few of them that have something to say
- 20:40about Jesus and what they say is very interesting if you're not
- 20:43familiar with that material. Section 2, we will be talking
- 20:47about when the Gospels were written, which I will explain
- 20:50when we get there, why that's important.
- 20:53And the 3rd and final section, and what I consider to be the
- 20:57juiciest section, is what did the historical Jesus say and
- 21:01teach? By then we'll have established
- 21:04that both the Roman historians who wrote about Jesus and the
- 21:08gospels that talk about Jesus are writing about the same Jesus
- 21:12at this point. And so when we've established
- 21:13that, then the teachings of Jesus will become a lot more
- 21:16interesting. But let's get into section one.
- 21:20What do the Roman historians say about Jesus?
- 21:24Well, I'd like to start off with a very interesting quote by
- 21:26Ellen Johnson, who went on to CNN Larry King Live back in
- 21:30April 2005 and gave us this gem. The reality is there is not one
- 21:37shred of secular evidence there ever was a Jesus Christ.
- 21:41Jesus Christ and Christianity is a modern religion and Jesus
- 21:44Christ is a compilation from other gods.
- 21:47Osiris Mithras, who had the same origins, the same death as the
- 21:51mythological Jesus Christ. Now if you just took Ellen at
- 21:55face value and didn't investigate anything she said,
- 21:58this may sound pretty convincing to some.
- 22:01This may sound damning to others.
- 22:03But there's just one little problem.
- 22:06The first sentence. Ellen claims that there is not
- 22:09one shred of secular evidence there ever was a Jesus Christ.
- 22:13And that's where all these Roman historians I'm going to quote
- 22:16from come into play. And the reason why it's
- 22:22important is because when dealing with the historical
- 22:25Jesus, it's important to know. Are there any secular historians
- 22:29who talk about Jesus as a historical person?
- 22:33It's also important to figure out if there were any secular
- 22:35people who wrote about Jesus and the early Christians in order to
- 22:39corroborate the story, because as we see if other religions
- 22:43like Mormonism, we have no cooperation from other parties
- 22:46regarding the Mormon story. So first up on the docket is
- 22:52Josephus. Josephus was a Jew who became a
- 22:56Roman citizen later in his life, and he was a historian from the
- 23:001st century whose works covered Jewish history.
- 23:04Josephus mentions Jesus in Antiquities of the Jews, Book
- 23:0718, Chapter 3, paragraph 3. But because of its kind
- 23:13assessment of Jesus in the Greek version, many believe that the
- 23:17Christians who preserved Josephus's work altered his
- 23:20original text in order to make it appear less insulting than
- 23:23Josephus usually was in his writings.
- 23:27Robert Eisler, an Austrian Jewish art historian and Bible
- 23:30scholar who lived from 1882 to 1949, reconstructed Josephus's
- 23:35passage to be based on a less complimentary approach that
- 23:39lined up more of Josephus's writing style in his other
- 23:42works. And it is this reconstruction
- 23:45that we're going to read, because even in this
- 23:47reconstruction you learn a few things about this historical
- 23:51Jesus we read now about. This Time arose an occasion for
- 23:56new disturbances. A certain Jesus, a Wizard of a
- 24:00man, if indeed he may be called a man, who was the most
- 24:03monstrous of men, whom his disciples called the Son of God,
- 24:06as having done wonders such as no man has ever done.
- 24:09He was in fact a teacher of astonishing tricks to such men
- 24:13as except the abnormal with delight.
- 24:15And he seduced many Jews, and many also of the Greek nation,
- 24:18and was regarded by them as the Messiah.
- 24:21And when on the indictment of the principal men among us,
- 24:23Pilate had sentenced him to the cross, still those who before
- 24:26had admired him did not cease to rave.
- 24:30For it seemed to them that having been dead for three days,
- 24:33he had appeared to them alive again, as the divinely inspired
- 24:37prophets had foretold these and 10,000 other wonderful things
- 24:41concerning him. And even now the race of those
- 24:44who are called Messianis after him is not extinct.
- 24:49Well, when we look at that passage of Josephus that Eisler
- 24:53reconstructed, we learn that Jesus performed miracles.
- 24:58We learned that Jews and Gentiles alike became his
- 25:00followers. We learned that Jesus was
- 25:02regarded as the Messiah while he was alive.
- 25:05We learned that Pontius Pilate sentenced Jesus to death on the
- 25:08cross. We also learned that it was
- 25:11reported that Jesus had risen from the dead after three days.
- 25:15We learned that the followers of Jesus claimed that Jesus
- 25:18fulfilled all the ancient prophecies about the Messiah.
- 25:21And we learned that the followers of Jesus were still
- 25:24around at the time of Josephus's writing.
- 25:28Those are all very interesting details, and when we pull them
- 25:31together with the other details about Jesus that we're going to
- 25:35see from these other Roman historians, you'll see that the
- 25:39picture they painted Jesus will look very familiar.
- 25:43Now Celsius is up next on the docket.
- 25:45Celsius was a second century Greek philosopher famous for his
- 25:49attacks on early Christianity. While all of Celsius's works are
- 25:53no longer extant, which means that none of the manuscripts for
- 25:57them exist anymore, So we don't have any manuscripts of his work
- 26:00anymore. Origin and early Christian
- 26:03theologian from the 3rd century used this quote from Celsius in
- 26:07Contra Selsum 128 which in Contra Celsius, Celsius was
- 26:11doing the point by point refutation or origin was doing a
- 26:15point by point refutation of Celsius's work.
- 26:18And so I keep quote a bit of it and then write his response.
- 26:21Quote the next little bit, write his response.
- 26:24Well, here's a quote from Celsius that Origin gave born in
- 26:30a certain Jewish village of a poor woman of the country who
- 26:33gained her substance by spinning, and who was turned out
- 26:36of doors by her husband, a Carpenter by trade, because she
- 26:40was convicted of adultery. But after being driven away by
- 26:43her husband and wandering about for a time, she disgracefully
- 26:47gave birth to Jesus, An illegitimate child who, having
- 26:50hired himself out as a servant in Egypt on account of his
- 26:53poverty, and having there acquired some miraculous powers
- 26:57on which the Egyptians greatly pride themselves, returned to
- 27:00his own country, highly elated on account of them, and by means
- 27:04of these proclaimed himself a God.
- 27:07So we learned from Celsius that Jesus was born in Bethlehem.
- 27:11We learned that Jesus's father was a Carpenter.
- 27:14We learned that Jesus had divine powers and that he used these
- 27:18powers as the basis to proclaim himself to be God in human form.
- 27:24Very interesting details from Celsius we got there now.
- 27:28Lucian was a Greek satirist who lived from 1:25 to roughly
- 27:32180AD. Lucian wrote a satire called The
- 27:35Death of Peregrine in which the lead character takes advantage
- 27:39of the generosity of Christians and is in this work we read.
- 27:44The Christians, you know worship a man to this day, the
- 27:47distinguished personage who introduced their novel rights
- 27:50and was crucified on that account.
- 27:52You see these misguided creatures start with the general
- 27:55conviction that they are immortal for all time, which
- 27:58explains the contempt of death and voluntary self devotion
- 28:01which are so common among them. And then it was impressed on
- 28:05them by their original lawgiver, that they are all brothers from
- 28:09the moment that they are converted and deny the gods of
- 28:12Greece and worship the crucified sage and live after his laws.
- 28:17All this they take quite on trust, with the result that they
- 28:20despise all worldly goods alike, regarding them merely as common
- 28:24property. Now an adroit unscrupulous
- 28:27fellow who has seen the world, has only to get among these
- 28:30simple souls, and his fortune is pretty soon made.
- 28:33He plays with them. So we learn from Lucian that
- 28:38Jesus was indeed a real historical person.
- 28:40We learn that he was crucified for what he taught, and we even
- 28:44learn a teaching of Jesus that he taught that all the
- 28:48Christians, all his followers, are siblings in Christ from the
- 28:51moment of conversion. May I point something out real
- 28:55quick about some of the information you put forth?
- 28:58Sure, the in the beginning of the post you posted the people
- 29:04talking about the similarities of Mithra and Jesus.
- 29:08I don't know if some people realize this out there, but the
- 29:11same Romans who we're going along with that Mithra thing for
- 29:15a little bit, they actually claimed to have had a vision of
- 29:18Jesus Christ and ended up making Christianity the state religion
- 29:23because of such a powerful vision they had of it.
- 29:26That's why there you have Roman Christianity, folks.
- 29:30I don't know if you guys knew that out there.
- 29:32Also, you posted some of the list of people who mentioned
- 29:35Jesus Christ. I find it fascinating that
- 29:38Pontius Pilate is actually recorded.
- 29:40There is historical information of him as well as the enemies of
- 29:45Christ who crucified him actually mentioning him.
- 29:48This isn't just the people who liked him.
- 29:51It was the people who hated him who also mentioned him.
- 29:54Go ahead. Absolutely.
- 29:59Now the next historian on the docket is Suetonius, a Roman
- 30:03historian who lived from 69 to roughly 122AD.
- 30:07Suetonius makes a reference to Jesus in Life of Claudius 25
- 30:12four which reads Since the Jews constantly made disturbances at
- 30:17the instigation of Crestus, he expelled them from Rome.
- 30:22Now Crestus is a misspelling of Christus, which means that he's
- 30:27talking about Jesus here. Which means that Jesus not only
- 30:31was a real historical person, but according to Suetonius,
- 30:34because of the commotion that the Jews made when they brought
- 30:38Jesus before Pontius Pilate to get him crucified, Claudius
- 30:41kicked the Jews out of Rome. And if you read Acts 18 one
- 30:45through 2, you can have this fact verified by another source
- 30:50of information because Acts 18 one through 2 talks about the
- 30:53Jews being kicked out of Rome. This guy explains why they were
- 30:57kicked out of Rome. Surprise, surprise, it's what
- 31:00they had to do to get Jesus killed by pilot that got them
- 31:03kicked out of Rome. May I also point out that they
- 31:07also have the two locations, one where the tomb in which Jesus
- 31:11was buried and they also have the location historically found
- 31:15where he was crucified. They call it the Golgotha.
- 31:19Go ahead. And that's also a place that's
- 31:23mentioned in the Gospels as well.
- 31:25Tacitus is the other Roman historian that we're looking at.
- 31:30He was a Roman historian who lived from 56 to roughly 117 AD.
- 31:36But he pointed out some interesting things in the Annals
- 31:38book 158062 to 65. And I hope the goodness I'm
- 31:43getting my Roman numerals right. Consequently, to get rid of the
- 31:47report, Nero fastened the guilt and inflicted the most exquisite
- 31:50tortures on a class hated for their abominations, called
- 31:54Christians by the populace. Christus, from whom the name had
- 31:58its origin, suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of
- 32:01Tiberius at the hands of one of our pro curators, Pontius
- 32:04Pilate, and a most mischievous superstition.
- 32:07Thus check for the moment Again not and again broke out, not
- 32:12only in Judea, the first source of the evil, but even in Rome,
- 32:16where all things hideous and shameful from every part of the
- 32:19world find their center and become popular.
- 32:23Now we learn from the this account that Jesus not only was
- 32:27a real historical person, but that he was sentenced to
- 32:30execution by Pontius Pilate during the reign of Tiberius
- 32:34Caesar. But Phil Fernandez, another
- 32:38Christian apologist who wrote a book called Hacking the
- 32:41Historical Jesus. He wrote the following on pages
- 32:4484 to 85 regarding Tacitus. These statements by Tacitus are
- 32:50consistent with the New Testament records.
- 32:53Even Tacitus's report of the stopping of the superstition,
- 32:56and then it's breaking out again, appears to be his attempt
- 33:00to explain how the death of Christ stifled the spreading of
- 33:02the gospel. But then the Christian message
- 33:05was once again preached, this time spreading more rapidly.
- 33:08This is perfectly consistent with the New Testament record.
- 33:12The New Testament reports that Christ's disciples went into
- 33:14hiding during his arrest and death after Jesus rose from the
- 33:18dead three days after the crucifixion.
- 33:20He filled his disciples of the Holy Spirit about 50 days after
- 33:24the crucifixion, and they fearlessly proclaimed the Gospel
- 33:27throughout the Roman Empire, Acts one and Two.
- 33:31Now, when you take all these secular sources, these Roman
- 33:35historians, what do they have to say about Jesus when you put
- 33:39them all together? Well, you learn that Jesus was
- 33:43born in Bethlehem, that his father was a Carpenter, that he
- 33:46was a wise person who had divine powers which they attributed to
- 33:50sorcery to try and discredit him.
- 33:52He claimed to be God in human form.
- 33:54Jews and Gentiles alike became his followers.
- 33:57He was regarded as the Messiah. While he was alive.
- 34:00He was arrested and condemned for what he taught.
- 34:03Pontius Pilate sentenced Jesus to death on the cross, and it
- 34:07was reported that Jesus had risen from the dead after three
- 34:09days. Now, when you pull all those
- 34:12details together and you think of the picture of Jesus you're
- 34:15getting, it looks like the Jesus of the Gospels, just less
- 34:20detailed, a little more murky in the details.
- 34:24Which leads us into when were the Gospels written?
- 34:27Now, when you read the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and
- 34:31John, you are clearly dealing with the most detailed sources
- 34:35about Jesus that we have. But the question is, are they
- 34:39the earliest sources that we have about Jesus?
- 34:43And that's where this section is going to come in.
- 34:46We're going to prove in this section that the Gospels were
- 34:49written within 30 years of the life of Jesus, which means that
- 34:53virtually all of the high witnesses to him, we're still
- 34:56alive when all of these gospels were written.
- 35:00And just so you guys know, I am not going to be dealing with the
- 35:04queue source hypothesis in this section because the queue source
- 35:08is just that. It's a hypothesis.
- 35:11There's actually no evidence whatsoever that the queue source
- 35:14even exists. So I'm not going to deal with a
- 35:17hypothetical. I'm going to deal with what we
- 35:19actually have, which is the following information.
- 35:25Now, in First Timothy 613, Paul makes a reference to the
- 35:29conversation that Jesus had with Pilate, and the reference refers
- 35:34to the conversation that is recorded only in the Gospel of
- 35:37John. Since first Timothy was written
- 35:41between 63 to 65 AD, according to the secular world and the
- 35:46Wikipedia article on the book, John's Gospel logically had to
- 35:50have been written before that because you can't make
- 35:52references to documents that don't exist.
- 35:57Well, what about the gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke?
- 35:59Well, virtually all scholars agree that First Corinthians,
- 36:03which was Paul's first letter, was written between 53 and 57
- 36:07AD. And just to show you the
- 36:10similarities here, First Corinthians 11/23 through 26.
- 36:16For I received from the Lord what I had also passed on to
- 36:19you. The Lord Jesus, on the night he
- 36:21was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks he
- 36:24broke it and said, This is my remember, this is my body, which
- 36:27is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.
- 36:30In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, this cup
- 36:34is the new covenant in my blood. Do this whenever you drink it in
- 36:37remembrance of Me. For whenever you eat this bread
- 36:40and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.
- 36:44So we see this huge quotation here that Paul lists and 1st
- 36:47Corinthians, and we realized that it comes from the Gospel of
- 36:51Luke, specifically Luke 2219 through 23, which reads, And he
- 36:57took the bread, gave thanks, and broke it, and gave it to them,
- 37:00saying, This is my body given for you.
- 37:02Do this in remembrance of me. In the same way, after the
- 37:06supper he took the cup, saying, this cup is the new covenant in
- 37:09my blood which is poured out for you.
- 37:11But the hand of him who's going to betray me is with mine on the
- 37:14table the Son of man will go as it has been decreed, But woe to
- 37:17that man who betrays him. They began the question among
- 37:20themselves which of them it might be who would do this.
- 37:23So we can see that Paul is definitely using Luke as his
- 37:27source of information when he quotes Jesus's words at the Last
- 37:30Supper in First Corinthians. Now, since First Corinthians was
- 37:35written between 53 and 57 AD, this means that the gospel of
- 37:39Luke had to have been written before First Corinthians, which
- 37:43makes sense because you can't make references to things that
- 37:46don't exist yet. And if First Corinthians is
- 37:49referring to Luke as clearly as Paul did, then Luke had to have
- 37:52already existed by the time First Corinthians was written.
- 37:57But I guess even more interesting, on page 166 of his
- 38:01book Cold Case Christianity, famous homicide detective and
- 38:04Christian apologist Jim Warner, Wallace had this to say about
- 38:07the Gospel of Luke. Luke often repeated or quoted
- 38:12entire passages that were offered previously by either
- 38:15Mark. 350 verses from Mark appear in Luke's Gospel or
- 38:19Matthew. 250 verses from Matthew appear in Luke's Gospel.
- 38:23These passages were inserted into Luke's Gospel as though
- 38:27they were simply copied over from other accounts.
- 38:31Since we know that Luke repeated and quoted passages from Mark
- 38:35and Matthew, both Mark and Matthew had to have been written
- 38:39before Luke. In other words, Matthew, Mark,
- 38:42and Luke were written within roughly 20 years of Jesus's
- 38:45life, and the only way you can disprove this theory of mine is
- 38:49if you can prove that First Corinthians and First Timothy
- 38:55were written much later than the current consensus is.
- 38:58If you could do that, then my theory would be wrong.
- 39:01But if you go with the consensus dates on the writing of First
- 39:04Corinthians and First Timothy, then you have to conclude that
- 39:08the Gospels were written within 30 years of Jesus's life, which
- 39:12means virtually every eyewitness was alive when John was written,
- 39:16and pretty much all of them were written when Matthew, Mark and
- 39:20Luke were written. Now, when we look at the Roman
- 39:24historians who wrote about Jesus, if you take away
- 39:27Josephus, four of the five Roman historians wrote their documents
- 39:32over 80 years after the events took place, some of them closer
- 39:35to 100 years. The four Gospels, on the other
- 39:38hand, were written within 30 years of the life of Jesus, with
- 39:42three of them written within 20 years.
- 39:45This means that the Gospels are not only the most detailed
- 39:49sources of information we have about Jesus, but they are the
- 39:52earliest as well. And normally when you're talking
- 39:56about the earliest and most detailed sources about a
- 39:59historical figure, historical scholars would be drooling all
- 40:04over that. And they would be singing the
- 40:06praises of these documents because they would be considered
- 40:09the authoritative sources of information about that
- 40:12historical figure. But because this is about Jesus
- 40:16and it confirms the Bible well. They're not so quick to jump on
- 40:21board, the bandwagon of the Gospels, being the earliest and
- 40:24most detailed sources we have about Jesus now that we know
- 40:30what the Roman historians said about Jesus, thus proving that
- 40:33there is secular evidence for Jesus's existence.
- 40:36And now that we know that the Gospels are the earliest and
- 40:39most detailed sources that we have about Jesus, this leads
- 40:43into our third and final section.
- 40:46What did the historical Jesus saying teach?
- 40:50There's going to be some stuff in here that will surely offend
- 40:54somebody somewhere, so buckle up.
- 40:59Jesus taught that you shouldn't believe anything unless the
- 41:02evidence supports it. Now I've no atheists and
- 41:06evolutionists and skeptics watching this will be blown away
- 41:11by this. Wait a minute.
- 41:13We're the ones who always tell people they shouldn't believe
- 41:16anything unless the evidence supports it.
- 41:18What's Jesus doing teaching this, Of course.
- 41:21Then they'll probably be asked me.
- 41:23Well, how do you know that he taught that?
- 41:26Because when they think of Christians, they think of people
- 41:29who will believe anything, regardless of how little
- 41:32evidence there is for it. Well, in John 1022 through 39,
- 41:37we read the following. Then came the festival of
- 41:40dedication at Jerusalem. It was winter and Jesus was in
- 41:43the temple courts walking in Solomon's Colonnade.
- 41:46The Jews were there gathered around him, saying, how long
- 41:49will you keep us in suspense if you are the Messiah?
- 41:53Tell us plainly, Jesus answered. I did tell you, but you do not
- 41:57believe. The works I do in my Father's
- 42:00name testify about me. But you do not believe because
- 42:03you are not my sheep. My sheep listen to my voice.
- 42:06I know them and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and
- 42:10they shall never perish. No one will snatch them out of
- 42:12my hand. My Father, who has given them to
- 42:15me, is greater than all. No one can snatch them out of my
- 42:18Father's hand. I and the Father are one again.
- 42:22His Jewish opponents picked up stones to stone him, But Jesus
- 42:24said to them, I have shown you many good works from the Father.
- 42:28For which of these do you stone me?
- 42:30We are not stoning you for any good work, they replied, but for
- 42:33blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.
- 42:37Jesus, answer them. Is it not written in your law?
- 42:41I have said you are gods. If he called them gods, to whom
- 42:44the word of God came, and Scripture cannot be set aside,
- 42:47What about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own
- 42:50and is sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of
- 42:53blasphemy? Because I said I am God's Son,
- 42:56do not believe me unless I do the works of my Father.
- 43:00But if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe
- 43:04the works that you may know and understand that the Father is in
- 43:07me and I am the Father. Again, they tried to seize him,
- 43:10but he escaped their grasp. So we see here in this passage
- 43:14Jesus telling his enemies, Hey, if you don't believe my claim to
- 43:17be the Son of God, to be God in human form, then believe the
- 43:21works that I'm doing. Because these works are the
- 43:23evidence that I am God, that I am God's Son, the Son of God, as
- 43:28it were. But in Mark Two, one through 12,
- 43:32we read another interesting passage.
- 43:35A few days later, when Jesus again entered Capernaum, people
- 43:38heard that he had come home. They gathered in such large
- 43:41numbers that there was no room left, not even outside the door,
- 43:44and he preached the word to them.
- 43:46Some men came bringing to him a paralyzed man carried by four of
- 43:50them. Since he could not get them to
- 43:52Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof
- 43:55above Jesus by digging through it.
- 43:57And then lower than that, the man was lying on.
- 43:59When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralyzed man.
- 44:02Son, your sins are forgiven. Now some teachers of the law
- 44:06were sitting there thinking to themselves, Why is this fellow
- 44:09talk like that? He's blaspheming.
- 44:11Who can forgive sins but God alone?
- 44:14Immediately, Jesus knew in his spirit that this is what they
- 44:17were thinking in their hearts. And he said to them, why are you
- 44:21thinking these things? Which is easier to say to this
- 44:23paralyzed man your sins are forgiven?
- 44:25Or to say, get up, take your mat and walk?
- 44:28But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on
- 44:32earth to forgive sins. So he said to the man, I tell
- 44:35you, get up, take your mat and go home.
- 44:38He got up, took his mat and walked out in full view of them.
- 44:40All praised God saying we have never seen anything like this.
- 44:44So here we have an instance where Jesus forgave a guy's sins
- 44:48and his enemy said hey he can't do that, Only God can forgive
- 44:52sins. And So what Jesus did to prove
- 44:55that he was God and therefore had the authority to forgive
- 44:59sins was he healed. This paralyzed man told him to
- 45:02get up, pick his mat up and go home and the guy did.
- 45:06So Jesus was providing evidence to support his claim to be God,
- 45:12to support his authority to forgive sins.
- 45:15He was literally providing evidence for what he was saying.
- 45:20John 14, eight through 14 is another interesting passage,
- 45:24though Philip said, Lord show us the Father and that will be
- 45:28enough for us, Jesus answered. Don't you know me, Philip?
- 45:31Even after I have been among you such a long time, anyone who has
- 45:35seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, show us the
- 45:37Father? Don't you believe that I am the
- 45:39Father in the Father, and that the Father is in me?
- 45:43The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority.
- 45:46Rather, it is the Father living in me who is doing his work.
- 45:49Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father's
- 45:52in me, or at least believe on the evidence of the works
- 45:55themselves. Very truly, I tell you, whoever
- 45:58believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will
- 46:01do even greater things than these because I am going to the
- 46:03Father and I will do whatever you ask in my name so that the
- 46:07Father may be glorified in the Son.
- 46:09You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.
- 46:14So Jesus didn't just tell his enemies, hey, don't believe me
- 46:19unless the evidence supports what I'm saying.
- 46:21He held his Dome disciples and followers to the same standard,
- 46:25which is the kind of intellectual consistency that
- 46:28most people appreciate and that atheists and evolutionists and
- 46:32religious skeptics claim to be all about.
- 46:34So they may be tempted at this point to think, Oh yeah, let's
- 46:38get behind that Jesus guy 'cause he taught you should only
- 46:40believe things if there's adequate evidence for it.
- 46:44When you see the other things that Jesus taught later on in
- 46:47this presentation, that's when the excited atheists and
- 46:52skeptics and evolutionists will go Oh, because Jesus applied
- 46:56this standard to his claim to be God, he also warned us on.
- 47:01Who we ought to watch out for, you know, false Christ, false
- 47:04people, all this kind of thing. You hear a lot of non believers
- 47:08say things like why doesn't God do something about this or that.
- 47:12Well he warned us. Christ warned us very
- 47:15specifically several times what to watch out for.
- 47:18Look at their fruits. Yes, he did, and we can.
- 47:23Definitely talk about that in more detail in the question part
- 47:26of this presentation. But the next point that Jesus
- 47:30taught was that the scriptures are inerrant.
- 47:35And the way he did this is he treated the most hard to believe
- 47:38miracle stories of the Old Testament as historical fact.
- 47:43Even the ones that atheist and evolutionist make fun of the
- 47:46most. So here.
- 47:48In John, 310 through. 15 We see Jesus say the following to
- 47:52Nicodemus. You are Israel's teacher, said
- 47:55Jesus. And do you not understand these
- 47:57things? Very truly I tell you, we speak
- 48:00of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen.
- 48:03But still you people do not accept our testimony.
- 48:06I have spoken to you of earthly things, and you do not believe.
- 48:10How then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things?
- 48:14No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from
- 48:17heaven, the Son of Man. Just as Moses lifted up the
- 48:20snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up
- 48:24that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.
- 48:28Now when you see Jesus specifically say I have spoken
- 48:32to you of earthly things and you do not believe, how then will
- 48:35you believe if I speak of heavenly things?
- 48:38This is the principle behind what he said if Jesus and
- 48:43consequently the Bible, since Jesus is God, as we'll see
- 48:46later, and God is the author of both the Old and New Testaments.
- 48:49Ultimately, according to the New Testament, this means if God,
- 48:54Jesus or the Bible gets anything wrong regarding a claim in the
- 48:59fields of knowledge called science, history, archaeology,
- 49:03etcetera, then they are to be distrusted, discounted,
- 49:08disbelieved when they talk about spiritual things, heavenly
- 49:12things, which which would include the gospel message of
- 49:16salvation. So.
- 49:18Jesus is quite. Literally laying out the idea
- 49:21here by very strong implication that if he or the Bible is wrong
- 49:27about anything regarding history, science, archaeology,
- 49:31etcetera, then the gospel is worthless.
- 49:34It is garbage and you can throw it out.
- 49:38It's quite simple. And a lot of people who call
- 49:41themselves Christians have a real problem with this teaching
- 49:44of Jesus, and they have a problem with any Christian who
- 49:47regurgitates what Jesus taught. It's a very interesting world
- 49:51that we live in. But Jesus, as I mentioned.
- 49:56Earlier also taught that the Old Testament is true, which is on
- 49:59that same vein. Because after all, like I said,
- 50:03if the Bible's wrong about anything, well, then as far as
- 50:07history, science, archaeology, etcetera, then we can discount
- 50:09the gospel. Well, Jesus, as I mentioned
- 50:12earlier, taught that the Old Testament was true, and he
- 50:15specifically taught that the Old Testament accounts of miracles
- 50:19that atheists like to make fun of were true facts of history,
- 50:23and he referred to them in relation to his coming Second
- 50:27coming. Matthew 1230. 8 through 42 then
- 50:33some teeth. Let's start over then, Some of
- 50:36the Pharisees and teachers of the law said to him.
- 50:38Teacher, we want to see a sign from you, he answered.
- 50:42A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a sign, but
- 50:45none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.
- 50:49For as Jonah was 3 days and three nights in the belly of a
- 50:51huge fish, so the Son of Man will be 3 days and three nights
- 50:55in the heart of the earth. The men of Nineveh will stand up
- 50:57at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for
- 51:01they repented at the preaching of Jonah, And now something
- 51:04greater than Jonah is here. The Queen of the South will rise
- 51:07at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for
- 51:10she came from the ends of the earth to listen to Solomon's
- 51:13wisdom. And now something greater than
- 51:15Solomon is here. So in this passage we see Jesus
- 51:19refer to the prophet Jonah being swallowed by the big fish, the
- 51:24people of Nineveh repenting at Jonah's preaching, and the Queen
- 51:28of the South visiting Solomon as real historical events, and he
- 51:33talked about them in relation to his second coming and his.
- 51:38Current coming at. The time, Matthew. 2430.
- 51:42Six through 31 says, But about that day or hour no one knows,
- 51:46not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the
- 51:49Father, as it was in the days of Noah.
- 51:51So it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
- 51:54For in the days before the flood people were eating and drinking,
- 51:57marrying and giving in marriage up to the day Noah entered the
- 52:00ark. And they knew nothing about what
- 52:01would happen until the flood came and took them all away.
- 52:05That is how we will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
- 52:07Two men will be in the field, one will be taken and the other
- 52:10left. Two women will be grinding with
- 52:12a hand mill, one will be taken and the other left.
- 52:16So according to Jesus, the flood of Noah and what was going on in
- 52:22the days right before the flood of Noah were real historical
- 52:26facts. And he made this claim by saying
- 52:28that the way things were back in Noah's time, right before the
- 52:31flood, is the way it's going to be right before I come back the
- 52:35second time. Then there's.
- 52:38Luke 1720. Six through 29 where Jesus says
- 52:42just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the
- 52:45days of the Son of Man. People were eating, drinking,
- 52:48marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah
- 52:51entered the ark. Then the flood came and
- 52:53destroyed them all. It was the same in the days of
- 52:56lot. People were eating and drinking,
- 52:59buying and selling, planting and building.
- 53:01But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from
- 53:04heaven and destroyed them all. So not only did Jesus once again
- 53:08refer to the flood of Noah and what was going on the days right
- 53:12before the flood as a real historical fact by comparing it
- 53:16to his second coming, but he did the same thing with the story as
- 53:20Sodom and Gomorrah. You know that story where angels
- 53:25went to Sodom and Gomorrah to see Lot, and the men of the town
- 53:29came to Lot's home and tried to rape the angels, and then God
- 53:32destroyed the cities. Yeah, that story, Jesus said.
- 53:36That's a real historical fact. Then there's Luke. 2034.
- 53:40Through 38, where we read, Jesus replied, the people of this age
- 53:45marry and are given in marriage, but those who are considered
- 53:48worthy of taking part in the age to come and in the resurrection
- 53:51from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage, and
- 53:54they can no longer die, for they are like the angels.
- 53:57They are God's children, since they are children of the
- 53:59resurrection. But in the account of the
- 54:02burning Bush, even Moses show that the dead rise, for recalls
- 54:05the Lord, the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of
- 54:09Jacob. He is not the God of the dead,
- 54:11but of the living, for to him all are alive.
- 54:16So Jesus treats the account of the burning Bush that we find in
- 54:20Exodus chapter 3 as a real historical event.
- 54:25Quite fascinating indeed. Jesus also.
- 54:29Taught that you don't need a formal education to know the
- 54:33truth about reality, and I have learned first hand that this is
- 54:38definitely true. But let's see the passage where
- 54:42Jesus did this. John 714 through 19 says.
- 54:47Not until halfway through the festival did Jesus go up to the
- 54:50Temple courts and begin to teach.
- 54:52The Jews there were amazed and asked How did this man get such
- 54:56learning without having been taught?
- 54:59Jesus answered. My teaching is not my own.
- 55:01It comes from the one who sent me.
- 55:03Anyone who chooses to do the will of God will find out
- 55:07whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my
- 55:10own. Whoever speaks on their own does
- 55:12so to gain personal glory. But he who seeks the glory of
- 55:16the one who sent him as a man of truth, there is nothing false
- 55:19about him. Has not Moses given you the law,
- 55:22yet not one of you keeps the law?
- 55:24Why are you trying to kill me now?
- 55:27When they said How did Jesus get such learning without having
- 55:31been taught? What was meant by that?
- 55:34Is that Jesus, even though they called him Rabbi, he was
- 55:38technically not a Rabbi. He did not go through the
- 55:41rabbinical education system that all the other rabbis back then
- 55:46went through, but he did the work of a Rabbi and no one could
- 55:50ever prove him wrong about anything.
- 55:53So they called him Rabbi because he did the work of a Rabbi.
- 55:57And notice what Jesus says here. He says that anyone who chooses
- 56:01to do the will of God can find out whether Jesus's teaching
- 56:05comes from God or whether he's speaking on his own.
- 56:08In other words, Jesus is not saying that you need to have a
- 56:11special education like several pH, DS, or college degrees.
- 56:16You don't have to have a secret Mystic knowledge or anything
- 56:19wacky to backy like that in order to figure out whether
- 56:23Jesus is telling the truth or not.
- 56:25Be saying that anyone who chooses to do the will of God
- 56:29will figure out and can figure out whether Jesus is speaking
- 56:33the truth or not. No formal education is required,
- 56:37and I agree with that. As long as we have access to
- 56:40information and a desire to know the truth or to seek out the
- 56:44will of God, in this case, we can figure.
- 56:47Out whether or not Jesus. Was telling the truth or not?
- 56:52Now here is one of the most. Inconvenient things that Jesus
- 56:55ever taught. Jesus taught that most of the
- 56:58world is going to hell, kid you not John 14.
- 57:04Six through. Seven Jesus answered, I am the
- 57:07way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father
- 57:10except through me. If you really know me, you will
- 57:13know my Father as well From now on.
- 57:15You do know him and have seen him.
- 57:18So Jesus says he's the way, the truth, and the life.
- 57:21No one comes to the Father except through him.
- 57:23That means that the biblical worldview is the only true
- 57:27worldview, because that's the worldview that Jesus established
- 57:31and all other worldviews are false.
- 57:34Jesus made that categorically clear with this claim.
- 57:39But. Jesus didn't stop there.
- 57:41Matthew 713 through 14 Jesus said enter through the narrow
- 57:45gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to
- 57:49destruction and many enter through it.
- 57:52But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and
- 57:56only a few find it. So according to Jesus here, the
- 58:01majority of the world is going to be annihilated at the White
- 58:07Throne judgment at the end of time.
- 58:10And that's. After they've spent their time.
- 58:12In Hell. But relatively few people are
- 58:15going to spend eternity with him and the Father in the Kingdom
- 58:18after it's established on Earth. But it's not just unbelievers
- 58:23that Jesus applied this to Matthew 721 through 23 Jesus
- 58:28said not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter the
- 58:32Kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my
- 58:34Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day,
- 58:38Lord, Lord, did we not prophecy in your name, And in your name
- 58:41drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?
- 58:45Then I will tell them plainly, I never knew you away from me, you
- 58:48evil doers. So these are people who are
- 58:52proclaiming the name of Jesus and prophesied in his name and
- 58:56apparently performing miracles and driving out demons in his
- 58:59name. And they're not allowed in the
- 59:01Kingdom because they don't have a saving personal relationship
- 59:05with Jesus. I know when I read this passage,
- 59:09it's very sobering to me because basically, if you take what
- 59:13Jesus said seriously in this passage, you have to examine
- 59:17yourself carefully and on a fairly regular basis just to
- 59:21make sure that you really are seeking the Lord and that you
- 59:25really are submitting to Jesus. Because if you don't got that
- 59:29saving personal relationship with him, you ain't going to be
- 59:33in the Kingdom according to Jesus.
- 59:35So this is one of those passages that should definitely keep
- 59:38Christians humble. I know it keeps me humble.
- 59:43Now this one is probably even. More offensive for some people
- 59:47than the previous one was Jesus taught through implication that
- 59:52Young Earth Creationism is true. Now I know the immediate knee
- 59:57jerk reaction to that for most people is to freak out and go
- 1:00:02what the heck are you talking about Justin?
- 1:00:05That can't possibly be true. Some people will be more honest
- 1:00:10though and say, well, how did Jesus teach?
- 1:00:13Yet younger. If creationism is true, explain
- 1:00:15that one to us, Justin, and for those people we will.
- 1:00:20First we'll start with Matthew 19, one through 6 and it says,
- 1:00:26When Jesus had finished saying these things, he left Galilee
- 1:00:28and went into the region of Judea, to the other side of the
- 1:00:31Jordan. Large crowds followed him, and
- 1:00:33he healed them there. Some Pharisees came to test him.
- 1:00:36They asked, is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any
- 1:00:40and every reason, Haven't you read?
- 1:00:42He replied that the beginning, the Creator made them male and
- 1:00:46female, and said for this reason a man will leave his father and
- 1:00:49mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become
- 1:00:52one flesh. So they are no longer 2 but one
- 1:00:55flesh. Therefore what God has joined
- 1:00:57together, let no one separate. So in this passage we see Jesus
- 1:01:02say that at the beginning the Creator, and then he quotes
- 1:01:06Genesis 127, the creation of Adam and Eve, male and female.
- 1:01:10And then he quotes right after that Genesis 224, the creation
- 1:01:14of marriage. So according to Jesus, male,
- 1:01:17female and marriage were created at the beginning.
- 1:01:20The beginning of what? The beginning of creation.
- 1:01:23How do I know the beginning of creation?
- 1:01:25Parallel passage in Mark 10/1 Through nine.
- 1:01:29Jesus then left that place and went into the region of Judea
- 1:01:33and across the Jordan. Again, crowds of people came to
- 1:01:36him, and, as was His custom, he taught them.
- 1:01:39Some Pharisees came and tested him by asking, Is it lawful for
- 1:01:43a man to divorce his wife? What did Moses command you?
- 1:01:47He replied. They said Moses permitted a man
- 1:01:50to write a certificate of divorce and send her away.
- 1:01:54It was because your hearts were hard that Moses wrote you this
- 1:01:56law, Jesus replied. But at the beginning of creation
- 1:02:01God made them male and female. For this reason a man will leave
- 1:02:04his father and mother and be united to his wife and the two
- 1:02:07will become one flesh. So they are no longer 2 but one
- 1:02:11flesh. Therefore what God has joined
- 1:02:12together let no one separates. So in this passage we see Jesus
- 1:02:17say at the beginning of creation God, and then he quotes Genesis
- 1:02:22127 and then quotes Genesis 224. So even more clearly in this
- 1:02:28passage we see Jesus saying that male, female and marriage were
- 1:02:31created at the beginning of creation.
- 1:02:34This is a factual claim that Jesus is making here and when
- 1:02:40you compare Jesus's factual claim to the Old Earth
- 1:02:44Creationism timelines of history, you realize really
- 1:02:47quickly that only the Young Earth Creationism timeline of
- 1:02:51history allows Jesus to be factually correct when he claims
- 1:02:55that God made male, female and marriage at the beginning of
- 1:02:59creation. I have here 3 timelines, the gap
- 1:03:03theory timeline of history, the day age theory timeline of
- 1:03:07history, and the Young Earth creationism timeline of history.
- 1:03:10And on each line there is a green slash and that green slash
- 1:03:15is the point where Adam, Eve and marriage were created on these
- 1:03:19timelines. Now if you assume the current
- 1:03:23theory that the universe and Earth are 14 to 16 billion years
- 1:03:28old, and you're not one of those people who's going with the new
- 1:03:31study that says that the universe is Earth for way older
- 1:03:34than that? Twice as old.
- 1:03:35In fact, if you go with the traditional timeline for gap
- 1:03:40theory, you have Adam and Eve being created 6000 years ago on
- 1:03:45a 14 to 16 billion year timeline.
- 1:03:48That's virtually at the very end of the timeline.
- 1:03:52That is almost the polar opposite of the beginning of
- 1:03:55creation. Then you have Day Age Theory
- 1:03:59timeline, which would have Adam and Eve being created a couple
- 1:04:03billion years ago on a 14 to 16 billion year timeline, which is
- 1:04:08not as close to the end of the timeline as Gap Theory would
- 1:04:12have it, but it's still nowhere near the beginning, as you can
- 1:04:15see on the graph. But then there's the Young Earth
- 1:04:18Creationism timeline of history, where we have Adam and Eve being
- 1:04:23created six days into a 6000 year timeline, created on day
- 1:04:29six of a 6000 year timeline. That's like occurring at the 10
- 1:04:34second mark of a three hour movie.
- 1:04:37That's virtually the very beginning.
- 1:04:40Now, I know that there's been older of creationists in the
- 1:04:42past who have told me that because it occurred on day 6
- 1:04:46instead of day one, it didn't actually occur at the beginning.
- 1:04:50But as I explained with the movie analogy, it's virtually
- 1:04:54the beginning, and certainly much closer to the beginning of
- 1:04:57day. Age theory and Gap theory,
- 1:04:58timelines. Other things.
- 1:05:01That older of creationists. Try to do in response to this
- 1:05:03argument is they will say that well when Jesus talked about
- 1:05:07male, female and marriage being created at the beginning of
- 1:05:10creation, what he really meant was the beginning of their
- 1:05:13creation. The problem is, is that the text
- 1:05:17of the scriptures doesn't say that.
- 1:05:20Matthew 19 says at the beginning, not at their
- 1:05:24beginning, and Mark 10 says at the beginning of creation, not
- 1:05:29at the beginning of their creation.
- 1:05:31If those passages said at their beginning and at the beginning
- 1:05:35of their creation, then the old earth objection would be true,
- 1:05:40but it doesn't say that. It says at the beginning and at
- 1:05:44the beginning of creation and that means young Earth
- 1:05:49creationism has to be true because it has Adam and Eve and
- 1:05:53marriage created on day six of a 6000 year timeline virtually at
- 1:05:58the beginning, just like Jesus said.
- 1:06:01But this is. The most.
- 1:06:03Controversial part for most people.
- 1:06:06For my presentation, Jesus claimed to be God in human form
- 1:06:11and he did this in a variety of ways.
- 1:06:14And I'm going to give you 3 prime examples that go through a
- 1:06:17lot of scripture in a short amount of time, but I think you
- 1:06:20guys will like it. John 541 through 44 Jesus said I
- 1:06:28do not accept glory from human beings.
- 1:06:30But I know you. I know that you do not have the
- 1:06:33love of God in your hearts. I have come in my father's name
- 1:06:36and you do not accept me. But if someone else comes in his
- 1:06:40own name, you will accept him. How Can you believe, since you
- 1:06:43accept glory from one another, but do not seek the glory that
- 1:06:46comes from the only God John 2. 23 through 20.
- 1:06:51Five. Now while he was in Jerusalem at
- 1:06:54the Passover festival, many people saw the signs he was
- 1:06:57performing and believed in his name.
- 1:07:00But Jesus would not entrust himself to them, for he knew all
- 1:07:03people. He did not need any testimony
- 1:07:06about mankind, for he knew what was in each person first.
- 1:07:11Kings Chapter 8. 37 through 40 When famine or plague comes to
- 1:07:16the land, or blight or mildew, locusts or grasshoppers, or when
- 1:07:19an enemy besieges them in any of their cities, whatever disaster
- 1:07:22or disease may come. And when a prayer or plea is
- 1:07:24made by anyone among your people, Israel being aware of
- 1:07:27their afflictions, of the afflictions of their own hearts,
- 1:07:30and spreading out their hands toward this temple, then hear
- 1:07:33from heaven your dwelling place. Forgive and act.
- 1:07:37Deal with everyone according to all they do, since you know
- 1:07:40their hearts. For you alone know every human
- 1:07:43heart, so that they will fear you all the time they live in
- 1:07:45the land. You gave our ancestors Psalm 40.
- 1:07:494/20 through. 22 If we had forgotten the name of our God,
- 1:07:53or spread out our hands to a foreign God, would not God have
- 1:07:57discovered it, since he knows the secrets of the heart?
- 1:07:59Yet for your sake we face death all day long.
- 1:08:02We are considered a sheep to be slaughtered.
- 1:08:05Jeremiah 1710 I The Lord search the heart and examine the mind
- 1:08:09to reward each person according to according to their conduct,
- 1:08:13according to what their deeds deserve.
- 1:08:16Now I give you all. Those passages to say this.
- 1:08:20According to the Old Testament, God searches the heart and
- 1:08:23examines the mind. He can see the secrets of the
- 1:08:26heart, and God is the only one who knows every human heart.
- 1:08:30Jesus claimed to know that the Jewish leaders he was talking to
- 1:08:33had no love of God in their hearts.
- 1:08:35And John 223 through 25 states that Jesus knows all people and
- 1:08:39what is in each person. Therefore, by claiming to know
- 1:08:43what was in the hearts of his listeners, Jesus was claiming to
- 1:08:47be God. Now this is an interesting one.
- 1:08:52Matthew 2114 through 17 The blind and the lame came to him
- 1:08:57at the temple, and he healed them.
- 1:08:59But when the chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the
- 1:09:01wonderful things he did, and the children shouting in the temple
- 1:09:04courts Hosanna to the son of David, they were indignant.
- 1:09:09Do you hear what these children are saying?
- 1:09:10They asked him. Yes, replied Jesus.
- 1:09:13Have you never read from the lips of children and infants?
- 1:09:16You, Lord, have called forth your praise?
- 1:09:19And he left them and went out of the city to Bethany, where he
- 1:09:22spent the night. Psalm 8 one through 4.
- 1:09:26Lord our Lord, how majestic is your name and all the earth.
- 1:09:29You have set your glory in the heavens through the praise of
- 1:09:32children and infants. You have established A
- 1:09:34stronghold against your enemies to silence the phone.
- 1:09:37The avenger, when I consider your heavens, the work of your
- 1:09:40fingers, the moon and the stars which you've set in place was
- 1:09:43mankind, that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care
- 1:09:47for them. So as we see in those two
- 1:09:50passages, the children at the temple were worshipping Jesus,
- 1:09:54and the religious leaders were upset by that.
- 1:09:57They wanted Jesus to stop, but Jesus referred to Psalm 8 to
- 1:10:01justify allowing the children to worship him.
- 1:10:04When Psalm 8, we see children are praising God, and yet Jesus
- 1:10:08refers to that Psalm to justify allowing children to worship him
- 1:10:14and by. Doing so, Jesus.
- 1:10:16Was claiming to be God. Matthew 1127.
- 1:10:22All things have been committed to me by my Father.
- 1:10:25No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the
- 1:10:29Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to
- 1:10:33reveal him. In this verse, Jesus claims.
- 1:10:37That he is so incomprehensible that it takes God the Father to
- 1:10:40fully understand and comprehend Him.
- 1:10:43He also claims that He's the only one who can fully
- 1:10:45understand and comprehend God the Father, and that he can
- 1:10:48choose who he wants to reveal God the Father to.
- 1:10:51Therefore, Jesus is making himself indistinguishable from
- 1:10:55God, which makes him by default, God.
- 1:11:00Now we come to the. Conclusion of tonight's
- 1:11:03presentation. When you examine the writings of
- 1:11:07Josephus, Celsius, Lucian, Suetonius, and Tacitus that we
- 1:11:11saw in section one of this presentation, we realize these
- 1:11:15things. They say that Jesus was a wise
- 1:11:19man, but they don't talk about what he taught that made him
- 1:11:22wise. The Gospels do.
- 1:11:25They say that Jesus claimed to be God, but they don't tell you
- 1:11:27how people reacted to that. The Gospels do.
- 1:11:32They say that Jesus performed miracles in support of his claim
- 1:11:35to be God. But they don't describe any of
- 1:11:37the miracles the Gospels do, they say.
- 1:11:42That Jesus was put to death. On a Cross by Pontius Pilate.
- 1:11:44But they don't record the conversation between Pilate and
- 1:11:47Jesus like the Gospel of John did.
- 1:11:52And when we look at the. Gospels.
- 1:11:54We see that the Gospels tell us that Jesus told both his
- 1:11:57disciples and his enemies alike that they should believe his
- 1:12:00claim to be God in human form on the basis of evidence.
- 1:12:05The Gospels also tell us that Jesus never had a formal
- 1:12:09education, and yet he understood the Old Testament better than
- 1:12:12the religious leaders and the people of his day.
- 1:12:16We also see in the Gospels that Jesus taught that the Scriptures
- 1:12:19were inerrant and that the most hard to believe miracle stories
- 1:12:23of the Old Testament were historical facts.
- 1:12:26Jesus also. Taught that the only way.
- 1:12:28To heaven was through a personal relationship with him and that
- 1:12:31the majority of the world is going to end up in hell,
- 1:12:35including a lot of people who call themselves Christians and
- 1:12:39who seem to be legit Christians. Jesus also.
- 1:12:44Very strongly and implicitly endorsed Young Earth Creationism
- 1:12:50by teaching something that can only be true if Young Earth
- 1:12:53Creationism is true. Mainly, he taught that male,
- 1:12:56female, and marriage were created at the beginning of
- 1:12:58creation. And last and most importantly,
- 1:13:02we saw in the Gospels that Jesus claimed in a variety of ways
- 1:13:07that cannot be refuted, that he was God in human form.
- 1:13:12While most people are willing to accept the fact that Jesus was a
- 1:13:15historical person who really lived, they will deny what the
- 1:13:19historical record tells us that Jesus said and did.
- 1:13:23And the reason why these people in academia, especially the
- 1:13:26secular religious professors who were like, Oh yeah, there
- 1:13:29definitely was a historical Jesus who was put to death by
- 1:13:32Pontius Pilate. But everything else about him
- 1:13:34that's recording the Gospels we reject.
- 1:13:37The reason why they do this is because of the truth about Jesus
- 1:13:41is too inconvenient to them. They can't handle it.
- 1:13:44It's way too inconvenient to what they want to do.
- 1:13:47I mainly rebel against God. Now that you know about the
- 1:13:52historical Jesus, I'll briefly summarize the gospel message of
- 1:13:55salvation that he brought us and that the Bible as a whole brings
- 1:14:00us. And on my Rumble channel you can
- 1:14:02find a video I did where I give the entire gospel in its full
- 1:14:07scriptural glory, with scriptures everywhere supporting
- 1:14:09each and every point of it. But in summary, this is what the
- 1:14:12gospel is. Human beings.
- 1:14:15Are fallen. We're born if a sin nature.
- 1:14:18We rebel against God in our flesh and unrepentant sinners,
- 1:14:23which at one point we all were had it coming.
- 1:14:27Because God is a holy and perfect judge, and he cannot be
- 1:14:32bribed or corrupted. And so when he sees all of the
- 1:14:35evil that we as human beings commit, when he sees all the
- 1:14:39crimes we commit, when we violate God's laws, He has to
- 1:14:44punish us. He has to throw us into the lake
- 1:14:46of fire at the end of time and wipe out not just our bodies but
- 1:14:50our souls. But as.
- 1:14:54Infinite as God. Is in His justice and His wrath
- 1:14:57and His vengeance. He is also infinite in His love
- 1:15:01and His mercy. And so, even though there was
- 1:15:05nobody forcing him to do it, he decided to come to the earth
- 1:15:092000 years ago as Jesus of Nazareth.
- 1:15:12And He went through the ultimate sacrifice on the cross, paying
- 1:15:16the penalty for all sins past, present and future.
- 1:15:21So that if we will repent of our sins, bow our knees to Jesus,
- 1:15:26and enter into a personal relationship with Him, his
- 1:15:29sacrifice on the cross can be applied to our sin Ledger and we
- 1:15:33can be made right before God. And we can therefore spend
- 1:15:37eternity with Jesus and God the Father and the Holy Spirit in
- 1:15:41the Kingdom, and that includes the Kingdom that is established
- 1:15:45on earth at the end of time. That is the gospel message of
- 1:15:50salvation. And that is what Jesus brought
- 1:15:53us back in the 1st century. And I very much look forward to
- 1:15:57his second coming. That is the end of the
- 1:16:00presentation and this is the part of the TTOR show where
- 1:16:06anyone is welcome to ask me questions about anything or
- 1:16:10since Brett is here, ask him questions about anything.
- 1:16:15Well, I would like to. Acknowledge a couple other
- 1:16:18things that people might be interested in.
- 1:16:20I understand when non believers listen to Christians talk about
- 1:16:25the history of Jesus, they immediately shut down and go
- 1:16:28into the twilight zone. So if you if I might suggest for
- 1:16:33those out there, there are quite a bit of atheist skeptics who
- 1:16:36are also historians who ended up looking into the historicity of
- 1:16:42Jesus Christ. One of the most popular ones who
- 1:16:45was who used to be a famous atheist.
- 1:16:49His name was Bart D Ehrman EHRMAN.
- 1:16:54He wrote a book that Jesus exists, a Historical Argument
- 1:16:57for Jesus of Nazareth. He's also been on his own
- 1:17:00podcast and shows actually describing the many different
- 1:17:04evidences he found for Jesus. And one of the things he's
- 1:17:08quoted for is there's more evidence for Jesus.
- 1:17:11And some of the historical figures like Abraham Lincoln and
- 1:17:14some of our very presidents out there, there's more information
- 1:17:18out there about him than some of the leaders that we take for
- 1:17:21granted on that. Another thing, as I pointed out
- 1:17:24earlier, is we were talking about enemies of Jesus Christ.
- 1:17:28Well, as many of you know, we've talked about the history of the
- 1:17:31crucifixion. Well, we also have history of
- 1:17:36some threats that came to him whenever he was being born into
- 1:17:39this world. Look into the story of Herod and
- 1:17:42all the babies that he slaughtered.
- 1:17:44There's a lot of historical evidence behind that.
- 1:17:48That was one of the things I started looking into whenever I
- 1:17:50was a non believer. I felt like that was a major,
- 1:17:53extraordinary claim. And as Hitchens said,
- 1:17:57extraordinary claims requires extraordinary evidence.
- 1:18:01So that was one of the first things I looked at because that
- 1:18:04was a big call in the Bible. And guess what?
- 1:18:07Not only did he do that and he killed over 14,000 babies
- 1:18:11throughout the entire area, but he also committed a lot of other
- 1:18:16atrocities. He was not a good man.
- 1:18:18So you guys can look into that. Like I said, if you don't buy
- 1:18:22what Christians are telling you where the great presentation TTR
- 1:18:26did, there are skeptical historians out there who would
- 1:18:31find you to be stupid or foolish to not accept that the man Jesus
- 1:18:35did walk the earth. Yes, I agree with.
- 1:18:40Everything you said, I mean what Brett's showing you with what he
- 1:18:44said shows that there's a lot more information out there.
- 1:18:48Not about the historical Jesus and the people around him that
- 1:18:51are talked about in the Gospels. Then I can fit into an hour,
- 1:18:55hour and 10 minute presentation. I mean, even what I have in
- 1:18:58there, I've been told is about two hours worth of information
- 1:19:02rolled into one. But Brett just showed you all
- 1:19:05that. There's so much information
- 1:19:08about the historical Jesus and the people around him that it's
- 1:19:11absurd for anyone to deny not only that he exists, but also to
- 1:19:17deny really anything that's recorded in the Gospels.
- 1:19:21A lot of atheists will. Ask out there.
- 1:19:23I mean, how do you know which religion?
- 1:19:26How do you know that this is right?
- 1:19:27And how do you know this information being presented to
- 1:19:30you is true? There are some Bibles out there
- 1:19:33that literally go so far as to giving you a glossary.
- 1:19:36Gives you a map on the different locations where a lot of these
- 1:19:40events happened. It's quite extensive on it and
- 1:19:44on top of it, every one of the people that are mentioned in the
- 1:19:47Bible that had any kind of extraordinary moment or events,
- 1:19:51such as the disciples, such as God's enemies, every one of them
- 1:19:57is historically presented, especially Pontius Pilate.
- 1:20:01Now if you want to know something crazy.
- 1:20:04If you look into the Mithra or Zoroastrian religion, or any of
- 1:20:08these older ones that seem like they're similar, none of them
- 1:20:12have any kind of historical places.
- 1:20:15None of them have historical people.
- 1:20:18Nothing to it. That's the reason why those are
- 1:20:21put on the shelf with mythology in the library as opposed to
- 1:20:25Jesus Christ. Yep, absolutely and.
- 1:20:30That's the thing too. I learned about the whole
- 1:20:32Mithras thing, like that thing Ellen was saying at the
- 1:20:35beginning of my presentation in the first section.
- 1:20:39All those, you know, mythological people that they
- 1:20:41say, Oh well, the Jesus story is just ripped from these guys.
- 1:20:45What people have actually found when they actually dig deep into
- 1:20:48the issue is that it's actually the other way around.
- 1:20:52Any similarities that these other figures, who are
- 1:20:54completely mythical, have with Jesus?
- 1:20:57They didn't have these similarities during the time of
- 1:21:00Jesus. It was after Jesus and after the
- 1:21:04Christian Church started in the 1st century that the stories
- 1:21:08around these mythical figures were changed to represent any
- 1:21:13kind of similarity to Jesus Christ.
- 1:21:16There's one thing too. Unfortunately some religious
- 1:21:19people even forget, and I know a lot of non believers don't
- 1:21:22realize this. But the Bible is not just one
- 1:21:25big old book. It's not some kind of story from
- 1:21:28beginning to end. It is a collection of
- 1:21:31historians. It is a collection of people who
- 1:21:35shared the information throughout generations of
- 1:21:38generations. None of the other religions that
- 1:21:41you claim out there, the for those out there that think
- 1:21:43there's similarity, have all these collections of books to be
- 1:21:48able to bounce off each other and be able to point this out,
- 1:21:52something to think about. And PPR did a great job of
- 1:21:55showing that Jesus Christ spoke of that other information, He
- 1:21:59spoke of the other things that the other writers spoke of.
- 1:22:03So that's amazing in itself. Yep.
- 1:22:07I mean there's. Also, a lot of other things that
- 1:22:10Jesus taught that would have been great to include in the
- 1:22:13presentation if I had the stamina to do like a two hour
- 1:22:16presentation. But the things that I focused on
- 1:22:20particular were the things that were the most controversial that
- 1:22:24Jesus taught. And there are quite a few
- 1:22:27doozies that I went through. But that's The funny thing about
- 1:22:31Jesus and the truth. He just didn't really care what
- 1:22:34people thought. He only cared about presenting
- 1:22:37the truth, which was him. And so he said what needed to be
- 1:22:41said. And even though lots of feelings
- 1:22:44got hurt and people wanted to kill him for it and eventually
- 1:22:47did, didn't matter. It was still the truth.
- 1:22:50And because it was the truth, and because he was truth
- 1:22:53Incarnate, that's why he rose from the dead after three days.
- 1:22:56Because you can never kill the truth.
- 1:23:01Well, I think the presentation. Was perfect.
- 1:23:03I think it was incredible. I'm just adding my pieces in
- 1:23:06there and all that. I just remember whenever I was a
- 1:23:09former non believer, being around other non believers, how
- 1:23:12they kind of think they just kind of shut down.
- 1:23:15So that's why I suggested even though your presentation was
- 1:23:19grand and great and all that, you know what it's like dealing
- 1:23:22with non believers. The ADD kicks in in about 5
- 1:23:25minutes. So I wanted to let people know
- 1:23:28if you don't believe the religious folks, if you're so
- 1:23:30narrow minded that you just automatically shut down when a
- 1:23:33Christian tells you something, you've got plenty of atheist
- 1:23:36skeptics out there that will also defend the existence of
- 1:23:40Jesus Christ. Let me get you that link, by the
- 1:23:42way. Thank you.
- 1:23:45I was. About to say hello to.
- 1:23:47Dark Moon 75 in the rumble chat, but then he appeared in the
- 1:23:50studio. As soon as you get a mic Dark
- 1:23:53Moon, I will let you in. For those out there interested.
- 1:23:58I will momentarily be putting a link out to a very professional
- 1:24:03sounding microphone that users can get for under $26.
- 1:24:08Amazon's got so many microphones in stock now that they've
- 1:24:11dropped the prices and get you guys one that'll sound like a
- 1:24:15radio and you'll actually sound somewhat professional when you
- 1:24:18decide you want to talk to us and.
- 1:24:21Babooski, It's Dark Moon. Can you hear me?
- 1:24:26Oh yes, I can you. Sound good?
- 1:24:29Good. I did everything.
- 1:24:30Right, and I wasn't stupid like I thought it was.
- 1:24:32You sound as good as your offline.
- 1:24:34Videos so far. Yeah, new headset.
- 1:24:40Well, you got quite the Christmas.
- 1:24:41Present, didn't you, 'cause I remember when you were like, oh,
- 1:24:44I won't be able to join you till April.
- 1:24:47Well, that's just. The the rest of my set up, I've
- 1:24:50got the I've got to get my Internet set up and everything
- 1:24:53yet. But I'm here at my family's
- 1:24:56house right now. Ah.
- 1:24:58OK. Sweets and I told.
- 1:25:02Him. I was going to try to be doing
- 1:25:03this show tonight, so everybody was nice enough to stay out of
- 1:25:07my way while I did. Yay.
- 1:25:12I definitely been looking forward to this day, that is for
- 1:25:14sure, because you, Dark Moon, have been definitely one of the
- 1:25:18biggest advocates for Quarter, and you've also done a good job
- 1:25:24of making use of other Altech sites that exist as well as
- 1:25:28using mainstream sites like YouTube.
- 1:25:30It's believe it or not, it's really hard to convince most
- 1:25:34creators to diversify where they put their content.
- 1:25:37I mean, in this day and age, you'd think it'd be easy to do,
- 1:25:40but apparently people like us are just totally abnormal.
- 1:25:44Yeah. I've been bouncing off here and
- 1:25:47there. I've been on YouTube.
- 1:25:49I've been on Josh, who I've been on bit shoot, that was a fun
- 1:25:54experience. Bit shoot that motor of theirs.
- 1:26:01Well, folks, I got to. Apologize, I attempted to post
- 1:26:04that link of Amazon and the link is the size of a small comic
- 1:26:08book, so I'll have to you guys will.
- 1:26:11Have to follow us. Me and TTR on Twitter.
- 1:26:15That way I can give you proper links and all that does the
- 1:26:18comments does not like links that are that big.
- 1:26:22That is a shame, but. It is what it.
- 1:26:25Is I can't do Twitter, Yeah. I banned myself off of.
- 1:26:31Twitter Well I I'll. Give X credit.
- 1:26:36Since Elon Musk took over, it has definitely been less
- 1:26:39censorious than it used to be. And there's things I can talk
- 1:26:43about on there that would not have been so free to talk about
- 1:26:47before. And and it seems to be even
- 1:26:49easier to live stream to the site than it ever was before.
- 1:26:52Because I remember they used to have to go through this thing
- 1:26:54called Periscope for you to stream to Twitter, but now you
- 1:26:57can just do it directly. I like that.
- 1:27:02Yeah, I banned myself. Off of there before Elon Musk
- 1:27:06got a hold of it, yeah. Yeah, of course, I expect.
- 1:27:11You know, the globalist to have ultimate control over it down
- 1:27:14the road. So it's not like I'm putting all
- 1:27:16my eggs in that basket. I'm just taking advantage of the
- 1:27:20new freedoms that allows while it has them.
- 1:27:25Yeah, the reason why I decided I'd.
- 1:27:27Stick with quarter though, is because it, well, you own it and
- 1:27:32I know you're not going to slam people from saying things that
- 1:27:36you don't agree with. YouTube.
- 1:27:41Yeah, YouTube. They like to.
- 1:27:43They like to play favorites, you know?
- 1:27:46Oh yeah. Especially if you happen to be
- 1:27:50on the very far left and you are part of the woke social justice
- 1:27:54crowd. Oh, then you get boosted in
- 1:27:56their algo. Yeah, I don't want to say too
- 1:28:01much about. It because I don't want Rich
- 1:28:03Channel to get hit, but they've already tried to slam me twice.
- 1:28:08They've censored my comments. They have.
- 1:28:10They've censored comments on my own stream.
- 1:28:12I was. Going to say I remember.
- 1:28:16I remember when they blurred those thumbnails of yours.
- 1:28:20Yeah, I took pictures that stuck them in the.
- 1:28:22Video that was kind of weird and I see stuff way worse.
- 1:28:26Than that in people's thumbnails on YouTube.
- 1:28:28It's like, wait, that's the thing that's too horrific for
- 1:28:32children to watch. But you know, Wolverine game
- 1:28:34ripped in half while covered in blood.
- 1:28:36Oh, that. That's totally fine for kids.
- 1:28:39I would suggest for people. Who are posting videos?
- 1:28:42Don't Don't look at other people's YouTube videos and say
- 1:28:46to yourself, oh, they weren't able to do that.
- 1:28:48Then I'll do something, and even a little bit more gentler Now.
- 1:28:52If YouTube has it out for you, it doesn't matter how nice you
- 1:28:55are. I actually got a strike a long
- 1:28:57time ago for I'm doing a video called Jesus is the Guiding
- 1:29:01Light or something. That was just all good stuff.
- 1:29:05Somebody who got me for hate speech took a while to get that
- 1:29:08off of my channel. Oh.
- 1:29:13My gosh, yeah. Well, you know, there are some
- 1:29:14people. Are like that.
- 1:29:17Yeah. So Dark, So dark.
- 1:29:19Men 70. Five, since this is your first
- 1:29:22time here on any of my podcasts, much less this one, if you could
- 1:29:27tell us a little bit about what's been on your mind lately.
- 1:29:32I'm kind of going through a. Transitional phase of
- 1:29:39spirituality, I guess. I've been watching like
- 1:29:45religious videos stuff for a long time, but sometime in
- 1:29:48October I kind of got this idea I should be doing more.
- 1:29:53So I'm I'm in a I'm in a part of my life right now where I'm
- 1:29:59trying to. Cut out a lot of the wrong
- 1:30:03things in my. Life, you know, things that I've
- 1:30:06been doing that I shouldn't be doing.
- 1:30:10No, stuff like that. Like I said in that one comment
- 1:30:16that I left you on another video a while back, I said God's doing
- 1:30:20some work with me. I believe he is.
- 1:30:24That's good because he would like.
- 1:30:25To do some work on all of us. Have you?
- 1:30:31Have you been? Going to any churches in your
- 1:30:33area at any point? No, I.
- 1:30:37Haven't really been going to any churches yet, but I have been.
- 1:30:41I've been watching a lot of Crossfire my church.
- 1:30:46Yeah. I really.
- 1:30:53Don't know of any churches around here that I think I can
- 1:30:55go to that would. That, you know, the right kind.
- 1:31:02Of church, if you know what I mean.
- 1:31:04There's a lot of them who believe different things, things
- 1:31:06that aren't in the Bible and oh. Yeah, are you in a small town or
- 1:31:11a big city? Or like a medium city small
- 1:31:15town? I live out here in the.
- 1:31:16Country in West Virginia. I live in a mountain area, so
- 1:31:22I'm going to guess that. There's not many churches in
- 1:31:25your area. Well, there's.
- 1:31:28There's maybe two and two in this town that I know of, but
- 1:31:33this town is small. This town is so small that if
- 1:31:35you drove past it and you blink, you'll miss it.
- 1:31:39So it's kind of like. Monmouth and Independence in
- 1:31:42Oregon, where I used to live, like they like going, going One
- 1:31:45Direction. They're fairly sizable, but
- 1:31:49where they meet in the middle around the highway that runs
- 1:31:52between them. If you just go through the
- 1:31:54highway and you'll go through the whole town in like 2
- 1:31:57minutes, yeah, that's about. The size of it.
- 1:32:02What's weird though, is in that. Town.
- 1:32:04There's a whole bunch of churches, which made me puzzle
- 1:32:06because I'm like, wait a minute, I didn't think there's even that
- 1:32:09many people. Why is there like 7 or 8
- 1:32:11churches in this town? But yeah, that's an Oregon
- 1:32:18problem though. Because.
- 1:32:19Oregon tends to have a lot of churches, but not a lot of
- 1:32:22people attending them on average.
- 1:32:25Now, I said in that one. Video that I did that I've been
- 1:32:30to churches off and on throughout my life.
- 1:32:35I think you watched that. Video.
- 1:32:37I don't know if Brett's seen it or not for the audience.
- 1:32:41Watching this, can you talk a little bit about what that last
- 1:32:44church you went to was like last?
- 1:32:48Church I've been to was back in 2000. 9:00 or so somewhere.
- 1:32:56Around there, 2920 ten somewhere around there.
- 1:33:00That's about a long time ago. Yeah, we had a good pastor and.
- 1:33:05Everything. And it wasn't really a church.
- 1:33:10He was down to having to have church services in his home.
- 1:33:14So that's where we went home. Church.
- 1:33:16I know what that's like. He.
- 1:33:19He called it the Church like they had back in the days of
- 1:33:26Jesus, is what he called it. Where two or three are gathered
- 1:33:30in his. Name.
- 1:33:33Yeah, I guess when? You read the book of Acts.
- 1:33:34You see that they met in their homes as well as in the
- 1:33:38synagogues when they could. But churches are totally, you
- 1:33:42know, totally Christian thing to do.
- 1:33:47That's really the last church I've been to, and as far as I
- 1:33:50know of, that pastor is falling away.
- 1:33:53But he's still a good man and everything, But he's he's
- 1:33:57falling. Away he's let things.
- 1:33:59Get to him here and there. He left the faith.
- 1:34:03I don't know about leaving the faith.
- 1:34:05I don't think he left the faith. I think he just.
- 1:34:08Backslid, I guess would be. It so.
- 1:34:12Basically, he just. Quit being a pastor and lived a
- 1:34:17a less than perfect life for for kindness sake.
- 1:34:21Yeah, that's. Like I said, he's always been
- 1:34:24good to me. So yeah, I'm.
- 1:34:27Trying not to say anything bad about him.
- 1:34:30Right. I got that, yeah.
- 1:34:33I've I've been to a lot of churches over my life too,
- 1:34:37especially when I was in college going to different towns and
- 1:34:40cities. So I got to be exposed to more
- 1:34:44what churches are like. And yeah, a lot of them I could
- 1:34:47definitely do without. The one I'm going to now.
- 1:34:51Crossfire is probably the best one for me because I actually
- 1:34:55have a chance to be a part of their team and actually help
- 1:34:58them out with the various fields of media that they want to
- 1:35:02partake in. And I can help out with other
- 1:35:05things around there too, that aren't media related.
- 1:35:08But like when I was younger, I had a hard time getting involved
- 1:35:12in really any kind of church. I mean, even the ones I would
- 1:35:16consider good. They expressed no interest in
- 1:35:20having me help out with anything when I asked.
- 1:35:22So yeah, I I I can see where a lot of people get turned away
- 1:35:27from the faith-based off of the way that churches behave and
- 1:35:31Christian people behave, but a lot of them are good ones.
- 1:35:36When you find a good one, it's very.
- 1:35:37Fulfilling. That's another thing we talked
- 1:35:39about. Earlier too though, isn't he the
- 1:35:41OR Jesus warned us of false teachers, false preachers, false
- 1:35:46out all these things and that people somehow forget that?
- 1:35:53Yep, right there in Matthew. Seven.
- 1:35:55I believe it is because it's right around the same area where
- 1:35:58it's. I was quoting from in my sermon
- 1:36:00like it was between verse 14 and verse 21, I think in Matthew 7,
- 1:36:06where he talks about false teachers and the bad fruits they
- 1:36:09put out and buy your fruit, you'll recognize them.
- 1:36:12That's all in that same passage. It's pretty entertaining that
- 1:36:15reading. Actually, that's also.
- 1:36:18Totally true and. It also talks about that and
- 1:36:21some of the other New Testament books.
- 1:36:22I think First Peter is the other one that talks about false
- 1:36:25teachers and how dark and despondent they are their souls
- 1:36:30and basically you need to just disregard everything they say
- 1:36:34and I have fellowship with. Them, but yeah, I think.
- 1:36:45I think mostly what I've been trying to do.
- 1:36:48I don't know if it's right or not, but I've mostly been trying
- 1:36:51to get. My ministering from.
- 1:36:56You know the crossfire videos and.
- 1:37:00I've been talking with my sister.
- 1:37:02She goes to church. Have you ever been to her
- 1:37:07church? No.
- 1:37:10She just recently started going She's trying to get right with
- 1:37:13God too because she's she's I'll she's diabetic.
- 1:37:20She's older than I am and. She's.
- 1:37:24She's been through a lot of things, yeah.
- 1:37:30Yeah, I know what that's like. My dad's.
- 1:37:31Best friend is diabetic, so I've seen what that can be like.
- 1:37:36Yeah, my. Dad was too.
- 1:37:41Yeah, my wife and. Brother, unfortunately also
- 1:37:44suffer from being a diabetic. My brother's got to do the shots
- 1:37:49and my wife not as often. They've got a pill now that
- 1:37:53helps a little bit with that. And of course, stress ain't too
- 1:37:56good on it. My sister just recently.
- 1:38:02Started taking shots. I think she used to take pills,
- 1:38:11but yeah, that's about it. It's about all I've got to say
- 1:38:18on its subject. Well, Dark Moon, if you don't
- 1:38:22mind. Since it's your first
- 1:38:24introduction, why don't you tell folks a little bit about
- 1:38:27yourself and what kind of videos you make?
- 1:38:31Well, when I started YouTube back in 2010, I was doing like
- 1:38:36mostly just gaming videos and. Even back then, I noticed.
- 1:38:41A couple of things that wasn't right about it because when I
- 1:38:45was doing videos for them back then back in 2010, which is when
- 1:38:48I got my first channel. Up, I think the one I have.
- 1:38:52Now is my third channel. When I got my first channel
- 1:38:55going, they would, they would cut out some of the music I had
- 1:39:02in the games I was playing. They would cut that out and
- 1:39:05pretty much mute the whole thing.
- 1:39:06So me doing commentary was there was no point in me doing it and
- 1:39:15Oh yeah, I. Found that to be held to live
- 1:39:18stream something like Bethesda games because they like to have
- 1:39:22radios playing in the background.
- 1:39:24All that 50s music which I enjoy but doesn't do good for
- 1:39:28copyright, no. I used to.
- 1:39:31I used. To play like the older games
- 1:39:33they would copyright. They would copyright the music
- 1:39:35in the game itself. And they would end up.
- 1:39:40Muting that so when they muted that they would meet my
- 1:39:44commentary with. So I basically ended up having a
- 1:39:47video with no sound and no. One wants to watch that I
- 1:39:55started my second channel. Around. 2013 or so and deleted
- 1:40:04that one in 2017. Thanks to this dumb situation I
- 1:40:09got myself in. With the woman I was.
- 1:40:14Talking to. She ended up planning this.
- 1:40:18Weird. Idea in my head that there were
- 1:40:21trolls out to get me. And she was so convinced.
- 1:40:26Of these trolls that she taught me into deleting a lot of my
- 1:40:29stuff that was online, I ended up believing my channel.
- 1:40:31I ended up deleting my account. From this writing site.
- 1:40:35That I was on. I backed up my stuff first
- 1:40:38because I had over like 200 and some.
- 1:40:42Works up on that. And.
- 1:40:46She has. Pretty much vowed to make my
- 1:40:48life a living hell if she ever found me again.
- 1:40:51So yeah, a lot of my, a lot of the circles I'm in with my
- 1:40:59writing and whatnot. I've made friends with a lot of
- 1:41:04female writers, and we keep in touch a lot, and we're just
- 1:41:09friends. That's all we are.
- 1:41:11But she was under this impression that I every woman I
- 1:41:14talked to, I was fooling around with.
- 1:41:18Even though I've got friends, I've got friends in Arizona,
- 1:41:21I've got one in Colorado, I've got one in Canada, I've got one
- 1:41:25in Argentina. But somehow I'm flying all
- 1:41:27across, all across the world, meeting these women, you know,
- 1:41:31without leaving your room. Magic trick.
- 1:41:36Magic. We got a magic.
- 1:41:38But yeah, she she once told me that.
- 1:41:44When she did get up with me and. She's going to end up slitting
- 1:41:47my throat in my sleep. So I was like, you know what?
- 1:41:49No, I'm. I'm kind of this is this is too
- 1:41:52high maintenance for me. I'm getting out of this.
- 1:41:55I ended up cutting her off. I blocked her on everything.
- 1:42:01That sounds like what we call a. Fatal attraction.
- 1:42:05So yeah. Here's a.
- 1:42:08Funny thing I didn't know. I I didn't even know halfway
- 1:42:10through the relationship until halfway through the relationship
- 1:42:13that she was already married. Oh, she.
- 1:42:16Kept that little. Secret from you, huh?
- 1:42:19No. Oh no.
- 1:42:23But you know it It. Did kind of hurt at first when I
- 1:42:26ended up breaking it off. I broke it off in like April of
- 1:42:292019 it. Hurt a little bit because.
- 1:42:34Because she was beautiful. She was nice to look at and
- 1:42:36everything, but not all of her cogs were turning.
- 1:42:40You know what I mean? Yeah.
- 1:42:43I kind of figured that part out when she talked about wanting to
- 1:42:47slit your throat while you were asleep and all the other creepy
- 1:42:51stuff she was doing, but a lot of the A.
- 1:42:57Lot of the people I've met through riding, I still keep in
- 1:43:01touch with. We're friends on Facebook.
- 1:43:03I have a Discord I talked to 1:00 on there are a few.
- 1:43:08Who are also video? Creators.
- 1:43:10I keep in touch with them. Sweet.
- 1:43:15Do they do like writing? Videos.
- 1:43:18Or do they just do other kinds of videos?
- 1:43:20I had one. She stopped doing them, but she
- 1:43:24used to like read her poems and videos that said to
- 1:43:27inspirational music and stuff. She used to do that.
- 1:43:32She doesn't do that anymore as far.
- 1:43:34As I know of. Yeah, play YouTube sensors.
- 1:43:38And music being played in your video these days, it's kind of
- 1:43:42hard to do that. Yeah, YouTube.
- 1:43:46That's a that's a lot of the problems is that they stop using
- 1:43:50YouTube because of all of that sorts of stuff that they do on
- 1:43:53there. But that is 1.
- 1:43:55Of the nice parts about X and Corner and Rumble is that we
- 1:44:00don't have that kind of TOS community guideline.
- 1:44:05So basically, as long as you aren't trying to claim credit
- 1:44:08for something that's not yours, free to use it.
- 1:44:14Yeah, that's one of the reasons why.
- 1:44:15I'm sticking with quarters, but that's the way it should be.
- 1:44:19Really. I mean, it's pretty easy to
- 1:44:21figure out when someone's trying to take credit for something
- 1:44:24they didn't make and when they're just doing something
- 1:44:27with that because they think it goes cool with their video.
- 1:44:31I mean, I think we can all tell that.
- 1:44:33Yeah, I mean there. Is such a thing as fair use.
- 1:44:37Exactly. That's part.
- 1:44:38Of that is fair use. I used to have my stuff going.
- 1:44:44Up on Joshua too, but he had like some kind of server snafu
- 1:44:50and he ended up deleting everything but three of my
- 1:44:53videos. Really.
- 1:44:57Yeah, I I. Asked him about it, I said why
- 1:44:59did you delete my stuff? I I was in violation.
- 1:45:02And he said no, we had a server mishap when we were moving the
- 1:45:05videos over and we ended up losing all your content.
- 1:45:07I was like, oh, I don't want that.
- 1:45:10To happen again. So quarter it is.
- 1:45:14Yeah, I still talk to Josh. He's.
- 1:45:15Totally for free speech. So when he tells you that
- 1:45:19something like that happened, it's what happened.
- 1:45:22Yeah, that's what I figured. His main problem right now is.
- 1:45:25Money. I don't know if he's going to be
- 1:45:28able to keep his site online moving forward or not.
- 1:45:32Yeah, he lost loop. Already, I think, yeah.
- 1:45:36I was on there for a while. Yeah, which is sad because I
- 1:45:39like loop. Loop was very functional and
- 1:45:41clean and had an app in the mighty Network section of the
- 1:45:45App Store and it was great. Yeah, to to run all.
- 1:45:53That stuff at the. Same time you got to have money
- 1:45:55to do it. And as far as I know he doesn't
- 1:45:58have a regular steady job. He's like a Commission based
- 1:46:01tech guy. And you know, when you don't
- 1:46:04have a lot of demand for your work, you're not going to have
- 1:46:07as much money and it'll be harder to pay bills.
- 1:46:11Yeah, that that makes. Sense.
- 1:46:13And plus, he does a lot of this stuff.
- 1:46:16He does a lot of this stuff for people he want.
- 1:46:19He. I know he wants to help people
- 1:46:20and everything, yeah, but he also has.
- 1:46:23His hosting website, which is literally what's hosting my
- 1:46:27quarter site and hosting my domain for creation social.
- 1:46:32So that site alone is going to give him some money at all
- 1:46:36times. At least he can eat.
- 1:46:40That's true, very true. But man man, when I got the
- 1:46:45creation social domain back from Epic and got it on to the Joshua
- 1:46:50hosting services, boy did I learn how I was being scammed
- 1:46:54out of money just to have the domain for my site.
- 1:46:58Over on Epic they want to charge me $130.00 a year just to have
- 1:47:07the URL creation dot social to. Have the same URL.
- 1:47:13Domain on Joshua hosting 30 bucks a year and that's a. 100
- 1:47:19bucks saved up there, that's. What I would call a grifting
- 1:47:24scam right there. And they're charging me 100
- 1:47:28bucks more for the exact same service I'm getting at Josh and
- 1:47:31hosting. It's like, really I.
- 1:47:37Thought the epic was about all. That freedom of speech stuff.
- 1:47:41Oh. They are.
- 1:47:42They just, you know. Want money for it?
- 1:47:45Yeah. I can understand supporting.
- 1:47:50But not like that, yeah. So, Brett, we've had.
- 1:48:01Dark Moon hold the floor for a while, and I held the floor for
- 1:48:05a long time with my presentation.
- 1:48:07But what is going on in the life of Brett Keene, the content
- 1:48:11creator? Not Brett Keene, the man.
- 1:48:15Well, besides the daughter. Issue that we talked about
- 1:48:18earlier Also had some issues with the plumbing.
- 1:48:21There seems to be a curse with the Keene family.
- 1:48:24Brother TTOR. It seems like when we hear one
- 1:48:27good thing, we then get 3 bad things right afterwards.
- 1:48:31I don't know what it is. Maybe it's a Pagan putting a
- 1:48:33spell on me or something, I don't know.
- 1:48:35But it's rough. Yeah, the plumbing messed up.
- 1:48:40That's caused the toilets to explode.
- 1:48:43Not literally like, you know, a Muslim terrorist or something
- 1:48:46kind of act boom, you know, So we've got that to deal with and
- 1:48:52a couple other things. I also kind of got into it with
- 1:48:55some of my relations. They not showed up at the
- 1:49:00hospital and that kind of, you know, that kind of irritates.
- 1:49:06Right. I I would get that.
- 1:49:08What about your content creation?
- 1:49:11You got any plans for some cool videos for the near future?
- 1:49:17Well, it's going to be tough. To top this one, I thought it
- 1:49:20was pretty good and we've got it.
- 1:49:22Obviously we've told people it's streaming through both rumbles
- 1:49:26and all that, but there's a lot of things.
- 1:49:29And honestly, I mean all I have to do is just simply scroll
- 1:49:34through Twitter for about 5 minutes and if it's not some
- 1:49:37kind of political atrocity going on, there's something going on
- 1:49:41with school shooters and every horrible thing imaginable.
- 1:49:44So you never really run out of cunt.
- 1:49:48As long as you look at Twitter just for even a few minutes,
- 1:49:51it's just like wow. And of course you come up with a
- 1:49:54lot of great topics too, a lot of inspirational stuff that one
- 1:49:57could get into discussions with. I am very surprised that more
- 1:50:01people don't, like approach you on this.
- 1:50:03Maybe they're intimidated. Maybe they see that you're so
- 1:50:06organized and articulate on these matters.
- 1:50:09They're like, hell, no, I don't want to touch this guy.
- 1:50:11He's going to beat me up, you know.
- 1:50:17Man but since you brought up a current events I did notice
- 1:50:22today more news about that that shooter at that one school.
- 1:50:26I forget what it's called, but the one that just happened looks
- 1:50:32like we. Got another case?
- 1:50:33Of the the Rainbow Brigade. Yeah, I actually.
- 1:50:38Just recently, I know that you were busy setting everything up,
- 1:50:41but I ended up making a list of the last bit of shooters over
- 1:50:46the last six years, and every single one of them have been a
- 1:50:49part of the the Rainbow military or Mafia, whatever they call it.
- 1:50:56Oh, there it is. Hold on, let.
- 1:50:57Me take one second here and show that on screen because I found.
- 1:51:03It I. Found the post you're talking
- 1:51:05about seems to be a pattern. Seems to be a real pattern.
- 1:51:13And you know the Democrats. Their.
- 1:51:14Big thing is, they want to They try to suggest that, well, these
- 1:51:19people didn't feel accepted or they didn't feel loved.
- 1:51:22Well, guess what? Whenever I was going to high
- 1:51:24school, I wasn't the most loved guy either.
- 1:51:27Here I am, a young man with premature Gray hair.
- 1:51:30Looks that'll cause all the guys envy because their women are
- 1:51:34looking at me and I was treated pretty damn mean sometimes, but
- 1:51:38I never thought to myself, you know what, I think I'm just
- 1:51:41going to walk through the halls and shoot up everything.
- 1:51:43It's never been a thought of mine and I was treated like a
- 1:51:46total ass hat in school. How so was that?
- 1:51:53And trust me, folks. It don't matter that I was 6
- 1:51:56foot five, 250 lbs of pure sexual loss and power.
- 1:52:00They just they wanted it out for me.
- 1:52:03Yeah, it was a little different. For me when I was in high school
- 1:52:06because, well, I wasn't. Carrying as much weight.
- 1:52:10As I am now. But I was about 6465, most of
- 1:52:13high school, and you know, I was star basketball player.
- 1:52:17And in my senior year during basketball season, I got to be
- 1:52:22winter homecoming king. But outside of basketball, I
- 1:52:26always felt like a loner out there, almost like people were
- 1:52:29too afraid to approach me. Like you were saying earlier, I
- 1:52:32just figured it was because of my intimidating build.
- 1:52:35Because, you know, I'm 6 foot five.
- 1:52:38I have a 7 foot wingspan as far as if I stretch my arms out from
- 1:52:42fingertip to fingertip and not thin at all back then and now.
- 1:52:49And I mean you saw the full body pic I sent you for the graphic
- 1:52:54art. I mean that's basically what I
- 1:52:56look like in high school, just with a smaller stomach.
- 1:52:59Isn't it so weird? When you watch movies on
- 1:53:02television or you watch concerts and all that on television, most
- 1:53:07of the people that you're looking at are like 5 foot tall
- 1:53:09straight out of the Wizard of Oz, the Munchkins.
- 1:53:12You know what I mean? But here we are.
- 1:53:14Anybody that's like 6 foot or anything like that, we look
- 1:53:18pretty much. They make us look the same size
- 1:53:20on the screen. So I I've got a lot of people,
- 1:53:23they'll be seeing me on the live stream and they'll say bright,
- 1:53:26you're that tall. Yeah, goodness gracious.
- 1:53:28I have to have a wide screen camera over here in order to be
- 1:53:31seen. Yeah, that.
- 1:53:34That does remind me, though, of the concert.
- 1:53:38That I was involved. With the production of on New
- 1:53:41Year's Eve night, we had the rhythms of Renewal concerts at
- 1:53:47Crossfire at my church. And one thing that we well, the
- 1:53:51thing that I did was I actually recorded on video the whole
- 1:53:54concert after I made sure we could pick up all the sound
- 1:53:58through the sound board and the band Leviticus in particular.
- 1:54:03My goodness, that was extremely good.
- 1:54:07Christian death metal, especially for a relatively new
- 1:54:10band. I mean, the amount of Polish
- 1:54:13they had for being a new band was pretty amazing.
- 1:54:19That's usually 2 words you don't see put.
- 1:54:21Together. I mean, there's been Christian
- 1:54:24death metal bands before. Back in the early mid 2000s
- 1:54:28there was a Christian metal band called Underoath that was so
- 1:54:33popular that even one of their songs got put onto the official
- 1:54:37soundtrack for EA Sports Madden O 7, which back then Madden used
- 1:54:42to have like a really diverse set of genres and bands and
- 1:54:46their official soundtracks and Underoath made their cut, which
- 1:54:50I thought was pretty impressive when I found out that little
- 1:54:53factoid but the lead but. The lead singer of.
- 1:54:57Leviticus is taller than I am. I'm 65, I'm 65, so I figure he
- 1:55:06had to be at least 6 foot and a 6 1/2, maybe 6 foot 7.
- 1:55:10Muscular, Got a big curly mustache that just looks
- 1:55:14awesome. Kind of like the mustaches that
- 1:55:17you see in the stereotypes of like the 80s or the 70s.
- 1:55:21I don't know where you guys grew.
- 1:55:23Up or whatever. But I obviously imagined that I
- 1:55:27probably received some of the atrocities in school that I did
- 1:55:31was because when I was a child, I was born in Saint Louis and
- 1:55:35raised up through many of the years and it's like one of the
- 1:55:37murder capitals of the world. I'm surprised they even made it
- 1:55:40out there and then didn't end up and out like of the river or
- 1:55:43something. Ended up moving out in the
- 1:55:45country about 1314 years old and have no interest in going back.
- 1:55:50Yep. Now let's get back.
- 1:55:54To the thing Brett was referring to earlier is post on X about
- 1:55:59all these shooters recently and the common things they have.
- 1:56:04We see the rainbow flag and the trans flag and mass shooters in
- 1:56:10the see Colorado Spring Denver, Aberdeen, which I don't know
- 1:56:16where that is. Nashville, TN which I think that
- 1:56:20was the one at that Christian School if I remember right.
- 1:56:23But it's all it's happening so consistently now, Brett, that
- 1:56:27I'm starting to wonder if maybe like this is just part of the
- 1:56:31life cycle of one of these people.
- 1:56:34It's like you start out as one biological sex, but then you're
- 1:56:38convinced by others that because you feel like you're the
- 1:56:41opposite and you can just make yourself the opposite and be the
- 1:56:45opposite. And then you find out that life
- 1:56:47isn't as rosy as the people in your community make it out to be
- 1:56:51when you come out as trans. And and then I guess you just
- 1:56:54resort to going after all the people who oppress you.
- 1:56:58And I don't mean like debate them and when I mean like pull
- 1:57:02out some hardware and lay some bodies out on a few slabs.
- 1:57:06Seems to be the life cycle of these people at this point.
- 1:57:13If I may I? Think that part of your problem
- 1:57:17is one second. Can you?
- 1:57:19Put me up on the big screen real quick.
- 1:57:21I'll show you a collage I made. And these are all a lot of them
- 1:57:26are LGBT, but also a lot of them are.
- 1:57:30Let me stretch it out for you so you can see this better.
- 1:57:33Yeah. I put together a bit of a
- 1:57:35collage with a meme thing on it. Let's get this going so you can
- 1:57:41see. As you can see, it's a.
- 1:57:43It's a fairly. Hold on.
- 1:57:49Oh, you seen that, did you? You.
- 1:57:52Do realize if. Democrats.
- 1:57:53That's funny, people. Gun drugs would drop by 90%.
- 1:57:58There you go. Oh.
- 1:57:59Yeah, that's the great thing too.
- 1:58:01About all these trans people, magically all of their journals
- 1:58:04and the notes they leave behind it all says that they're far
- 1:58:08left Wackos who vote Democrat and evil orange man bad and
- 1:58:12another thing. Another thing too, Brother TTR
- 1:58:16is they're all godless. If you check out any other
- 1:58:20Facebooks, a lot of these were social media people.
- 1:58:23There was a guy called Skeptical Atheist a while back who used to
- 1:58:26preach against guns and talk about how abusive religious
- 1:58:29people were. Did an entire series about
- 1:58:32religious child abuse. This guy turns around one day
- 1:58:36after doing some mushrooms and shoots his wife right in the
- 1:58:38face and then ends up taking himself up before the cops come
- 1:58:42out. No, no, no.
- 1:58:43He didn't end himself. I think he wounded himself.
- 1:58:47The cops put him in prison. He's still in prison today.
- 1:58:51So yeah, there you go. That guy right there above the
- 1:58:54cute little words you see in the middle of the screen, you see
- 1:58:57the guy that's white with the beard.
- 1:58:59That guy went into a Texas Christian Church.
- 1:59:02He didn't do a school shooting. He did church shooting.
- 1:59:04Some of these are church shooters, Yeah, I.
- 1:59:09Think I remember a couple. Of those two from a few years
- 1:59:11back, crazy how we have all these shootings coming out, you
- 1:59:16know, from all these far left, Democrat, conservative, hating,
- 1:59:20Christian, hating people. And yet all you hear in the
- 1:59:23media is how they're the victims and all the people they're
- 1:59:26shooting up, they're the real bad guys.
- 1:59:28They're the real oppressors here.
- 1:59:32Almost like they're trying to justify the.
- 1:59:33Shootings. Oh, they tried to.
- 1:59:35Definitely. Justify it.
- 1:59:36Let me tell you guys, a little fact here that'll probably be
- 1:59:40interesting to you, but not a surprise.
- 1:59:42And then there has been no school shootings in any
- 1:59:45Christian schools whatsoever. I have looked for shootings that
- 1:59:49happen because when you're talking to atheists, the the go
- 1:59:53to thing is, oh, but religious people are mean.
- 1:59:56They've done some things well. They haven't done any shootings
- 1:59:59in their schools. Apparently Christians take care
- 2:00:02of their kids. That whole child abuse thing is
- 2:00:04kind of funny, since there's actually no killing actually
- 2:00:07going on in religious classrooms.
- 2:00:10Isn't that something? Anywhere prayer is allowed, or
- 2:00:13the Bible or Christianity, it doesn't seem to be any death.
- 2:00:19Yep, exactly. I mean, some people would look
- 2:00:22at the Nashville shooter and be like, well, that was a Christian
- 2:00:25School. But if you actually look a
- 2:00:27little more closely, that Christian School was part of a
- 2:00:31Christian denomination that's as liberal and leftist as you can
- 2:00:35get. So it's really just an extension
- 2:00:38of, you know, the far left wackos getting by their own
- 2:00:42people. I think that even as some
- 2:00:45atheists, I have to admit, whenever they see something dumb
- 2:00:48happen with the church, like for instance that church that
- 2:00:51endorse the LGBT, put their flags all over the building and
- 2:00:54all that, you know, the same building that just mysteriously
- 2:00:58and supernaturally burned up in the fire recently.
- 2:01:02So, and no, nobody caused that. There's a lot of people are
- 2:01:06saying it was an act of God. I wouldn't be surprised to be
- 2:01:10honest with you. But yeah, there you go.
- 2:01:12Spontaneous combustion, ladies. And gents, you know that
- 2:01:16actually. Used to be a scientific theory
- 2:01:18back then. Which part?
- 2:01:21The part of spontaneous. Combustion.
- 2:01:23They used to believe that people just blew up.
- 2:01:25They were just sitting in their damn chair in the porch.
- 2:01:31Scientists used to take that seriously.
- 2:01:33I know there's a science behind. It but I I just don't know what
- 2:01:38it is. Oh, the theory Was that our?
- 2:01:40Electrical. You know, a stimuli would
- 2:01:43touched the wrong thing and then boom, our bodies would blow up
- 2:01:46and all that. But apparently that was just
- 2:01:48some kind of nonsense, kind of like the the Red Devil of
- 2:01:51Jersey. Well, there were.
- 2:01:54Other factors too, that would. Be like how much alcohol you had
- 2:01:57in your body and and whether or not you were overweight or thin,
- 2:02:05Oh yeah. If you're covered in.
- 2:02:07Moonshine and stuff. I'm pretty sure that'll light
- 2:02:09you up real good. No, I mean, I mean when.
- 2:02:14You when you're drunk on it, when you have enough in your
- 2:02:16system, it's it's supposed to be a one of the things.
- 2:02:23We used to talk about this in my.
- 2:02:25Class in school. Well, the moral of your.
- 2:02:29Story is dark moon. We better stay away from the
- 2:02:32alcohols then, huh? We don't want to blows ourselves
- 2:02:35up. I got no problem.
- 2:02:37With that, I don't drink. Me neither.
- 2:02:42Well, I should say I don't drink much.
- 2:02:44Every now and then I take a drink of.
- 2:02:49Moonshine that a friend of mine. Sometimes makes, but I don't.
- 2:02:53I don't drink it crazily. I I take maybe one drink and
- 2:02:56that's it. Just see what it tastes like.
- 2:03:00Now we're. What is your thoughts on this
- 2:03:03DTR? I've actually had some non
- 2:03:04believers say, well you know, Jesus turned water into wine and
- 2:03:09stuff. So if that's the case, how could
- 2:03:10there be some actual issue? It seems as though the Bible's
- 2:03:14very clear about moderation. I I recall.
- 2:03:18If I mean, correct me if I'm wrong, but there is a passage in
- 2:03:21the Bible where I think Hosea was having stomach issues and it
- 2:03:25was suggested that he drink a little bit of something with
- 2:03:28alcohol in it in order to settle his stomach.
- 2:03:31What's your thoughts on that? Yeah, I.
- 2:03:35Know, I don't know where I learned this from, but I learned
- 2:03:39somewhere along the way that back in the time of Jesus, they
- 2:03:45didn't have the way of purifying water that we do now.
- 2:03:50And so often times wine was actually less distilled and
- 2:03:55less, you know, icky and dirty than actual water was back then.
- 2:04:00And so there was more of an incentive to drink that at
- 2:04:04times, just because, you know, it's just not as contaminated as
- 2:04:09the water at the time. So they got a new article they
- 2:04:16got. A new article on this shooter
- 2:04:18and apparently he's claiming that he was bullied and all
- 2:04:21that. And you know what bullying means
- 2:04:23to these folks if you misgender them or, you know, don't say
- 2:04:27they're pretty that day, that'll get them all hyped up.
- 2:04:30The thing I don't understand is why is it that when these
- 2:04:34shooters, I hate to put it this way, but they get angry at a
- 2:04:38group of people for doing the thing to them.
- 2:04:41So why did they plan out this whole thing of explosives and
- 2:04:45grenades and and things that will kill random amount of
- 2:04:49people that had nothing to do with it?
- 2:04:50Why don't they specifically, you know, go after the people that
- 2:04:54actually annoyed them? I don't get it.
- 2:04:56Do you know what I mean? You understand?
- 2:04:58Yep, I do. Because.
- 2:05:00That's what we've seen with all of the BLM ANTIFA stuff is they
- 2:05:04aren't going to like conservative or Trump supporting
- 2:05:08towns or cities and rioting there and burning stuff down.
- 2:05:12No, they go to the big cities where their own people are
- 2:05:16running things and they're basically just destroying their
- 2:05:19own stuff, destroying their own backyard.
- 2:05:22To put it another way, yeah, they're just very stupid, as
- 2:05:26lack of a better phrase. But I mean, yeah, like you're
- 2:05:30saying, if if the evil orange man's bad and all of his
- 2:05:33supporters are evil and Christians are bad, why would
- 2:05:37you go to the places where all of your own people congregate
- 2:05:41and all of your own stuff is, and hurt those people and
- 2:05:45destroy all your own stuff, why don't you go into the land of
- 2:05:48your enemies? I think the answer to that is
- 2:05:51that, one, their pansies and two, they know if they were to
- 2:05:55go to conservative towns or cities where not a lot of people
- 2:05:58who think like them are in positions of power, they know
- 2:06:02they wouldn't be able to do half the crap that they do in the big
- 2:06:04cities run by Democrats. So they go and act.
- 2:06:08They go and act out where they basically are allowed to, which
- 2:06:11is in their own camps controlled by Democrats.
- 2:06:20I think another reason too is the reason why they do what they
- 2:06:22do. And they want to take out.
- 2:06:26Everybody is that. OK, I don't know how you guys.
- 2:06:31Feel about this particular topic, but I believe that some
- 2:06:35of them have actual demons in their lives.
- 2:06:39Oh yeah. Yeah, there's.
- 2:06:40There's something wrong with these folks for sure, You know,
- 2:06:44besides the shooters and the issues you've been hearing about
- 2:06:47all this stuff. And I'll probably end up making
- 2:06:48a video about this TTR since you did ask me future ideas.
- 2:06:52But people who are standing out in the highway, whether the the
- 2:06:56climate people or the folks who feel sorry for Gaza, I don't
- 2:07:00know what goes through their mind to think that, oh, I'm
- 2:07:03going to lay down in the highway and somehow this is going to
- 2:07:07make people sympathize. If I had a problem with what my
- 2:07:11country was doing, wouldn't it be smart to go lay on the
- 2:07:15parking lot of the White House or the Capitol or something?
- 2:07:19That's where you would, you know, be the irritator.
- 2:07:22But out in the highway, just seems like that's going to get
- 2:07:24you ran over. And it's also going to make a
- 2:07:26bunch of people heading to work pissed off and not give a rat's
- 2:07:29ass about what your plight is. You know what I mean?
- 2:07:33Yeah. And that's exactly what.
- 2:07:35I. Think too, when you do stuff
- 2:07:38like that, where you're literally impeding people's
- 2:07:40ability to go to and from home and work like that, they're not
- 2:07:44going to be sympathetic at all to whatever your message is like
- 2:07:48at all. Like you said, Brett, they'd be
- 2:07:50better off going to the institutions of power where the
- 2:07:54people inside could theoretically at least do
- 2:07:58something about their message. Yeah, make it uncomfortable.
- 2:08:01For Joe Biden now, the chances of him sleeping through 90% of
- 2:08:06it is a pretty high probability. But at least the people who
- 2:08:10actually have control or have the ability to do something when
- 2:08:13they're not in a comatose state or in dementia like episode.
- 2:08:17Those are the people you want to aggravate.
- 2:08:21Exactly. Well, I think this is a perfect
- 2:08:26point to end the stream. But before I do, we got some
- 2:08:31advertising to do ladies and germs.
- 2:08:34So I'm going to go ahead and activate the screen share
- 2:08:37because that's what friends do and we'll go to this boom.
- 2:08:44So first up, if you are curious to see more of his content, I
- 2:08:48got Dark Moon 75's quarter channel right there on the
- 2:08:52screen. Hopefully you're seeing that and
- 2:08:57he does a lot of content. Or, as he describes himself in
- 2:09:00his banner, a variety channel. Gaming live streams, topical
- 2:09:04videos. Sometimes it's religion,
- 2:09:06sometimes it's tech stuff, sometimes it's just plain old
- 2:09:09video games. You never know.
- 2:09:11So if you're interested in Dark Moon's content after seeing him
- 2:09:15on this show, that's where you can find his videos.
- 2:09:18Looks pretty good, man. Looks.
- 2:09:20Very professional dark moon. I would suggest moving the logo
- 2:09:24over a little bit so your own avatar doesn't cover it up.
- 2:09:27But I get what it says. It's it's a very, very
- 2:09:30professional looking page. Very good.
- 2:09:34Very much so. Most of them, they yeah.
- 2:09:39And then of course, as far as Brett and myself go, you can
- 2:09:43find us at a lot of the same places.
- 2:09:45For example, here's my Rumble channel, which you're probably
- 2:09:48watching the stream on. Anyway, here's Brett's Rumble
- 2:09:51channel. He actually got a sub while we
- 2:09:53were doing the stream, so yay. And we both are getting popular,
- 2:09:59am I? I wish we were getting.
- 2:10:01Popular, but we are growing with some steady rate even if it's
- 2:10:05not as good as it could be. But we're definitely growing
- 2:10:09better here than on YouTube. So that's for sure.
- 2:10:14And then of course, I'm on X and so is Brett, which we're both
- 2:10:18streaming to our X accounts. And then of course, there's my
- 2:10:21quarter channel, which is the best place to find me because
- 2:10:24it's the video site that I started, that I run, that I
- 2:10:27control. And that real freedom lives in
- 2:10:30as far as the purest sense of free speech goes.
- 2:10:33And then of course, Brett has a quarter channel too, surprise,
- 2:10:37surprise. It's almost like he's a smart
- 2:10:39guy that knows where to pitch his tent, but the.
- 2:10:43Best place? To watch all the Brett's stuff,
- 2:10:46because he puts all of his old and new stuff on it, as well as
- 2:10:50some other people's stuff, is his Spotify accounts, where you
- 2:10:54can see all of his videos, all of his shows, and where he
- 2:10:59reposts some of the shows he does with me and some of the
- 2:11:02stuff he's done with other people.
- 2:11:04What you can see right here on the screen.
- 2:11:07He's also been doing a bit of preservation of some other
- 2:11:10apologists, which is a good way to make sure their content's
- 2:11:14still on the Internet when they eventually get censored from big
- 2:11:17tech. Let's keep in mind.
- 2:11:19Ladies and gentlemen, some of these folks, I think their
- 2:11:22messages and some of their ideas are good, but some of them I do
- 2:11:26not enjoy personally, just to point that out.
- 2:11:30But I feel like their message should be preserved.
- 2:11:33So there's a lot of. Places you.
- 2:11:35Can find me. There's a lot of places you can
- 2:11:37find Brett. You know where to find Dark Moon
- 2:11:4075. And of course if you're watching
- 2:11:45this on Brett's YouTube channel, you know where to find all of us
- 2:11:49as far as the non YouTube places go.
- 2:11:51And if you're watching either through Brett's streams on
- 2:11:55Rumble and X and you're interested in me, you know where
- 2:11:58you can find me. Same with me.
- 2:12:00If you're watching me on Rumble and X, you can find Brett at the
- 2:12:04same places too. So that's where we all are and
- 2:12:08those are the best places to find us.
- 2:12:10And with that, it has been a great stream once again and I
- 2:12:14look forward to seeing you guys next week when we return to the
- 2:12:18GOD TV Radio Podcast. Thanks for watching everyone.
- 2:12:22Peace None.
