- 0:59SPEAKER_01: We all have recently gone out and seen the new Dungeons and Dragons Honor Among Thieves movies, and we're going to give you guys our opinions.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: I am excited for this episode.
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: It was a great movie.
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: It was a great movie.
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: It was.
- 1:32SPEAKER_01: What are you doing?
- 1:33SPEAKER_01: Agreed.
- 1:34SPEAKER_01: But go see it, then listen to this episode.
- 1:36SPEAKER_01: So hit pause, find the next showing, see it, and then come back to us.
- 1:41SPEAKER_01: That being said, first takes.
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: What was your guys' initial impressions?
- 1:44SPEAKER_02: So I should say that my that my first impression was slightly amped up because our local and Brett was with me, so I should say that too.
- 1:52SPEAKER_02: But our our local theater recently got the reclining chairs.
- 1:55SPEAKER_02: We joined the 21st century.
- 1:56SPEAKER_02: So it was like, not only was I seeing a movie that I was super excited for, but it was like reclining heated seats.
- 2:02SPEAKER_02: I was like, oh, this is like primo, this is awesome experience.
- 2:07SPEAKER_02: Oh, oh sleep.
- 2:08SPEAKER_02: Well, thankfully it didn't do that, so that's good.
- 2:11SPEAKER_02: Uh first reaction movie overall, I I loved it.
- 2:14SPEAKER_02: I thought it was a great movie.
- 2:15SPEAKER_02: It was it was one of those movies where it's like you go into it and you're like, just let this be good.
- 2:22SPEAKER_02: Like let it flow, let it just be a decent movie.
- 2:24SPEAKER_02: Yes, exactly.
- 2:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah, don't suck.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: Don't be another video game movie.
- 2:29SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 2:30SPEAKER_02: And and I think it surpassed all of that.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: It was far better than any any other video game board game movie.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: I mean, I don't know if there's ever been really any more board games, but I'm waiting on Candyland.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: Oh to be excited.
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: Oh give me a ticket movie.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: Oh, yes, a dark candyland.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: Ooh.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: Ruined my childhood.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: Somebody make a horror candyland movie.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: I'm going.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: Uh so I was kind of interested in going into it because we've seen so many superhero movies.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: How does it compare to a superhero movie?
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: It was very different.
- 3:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I agree.
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: This was an adventure movie.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: It was not a superhero movie, and I think that was good.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: It was refreshing to have something that wasn't just like action, action, action the entire time.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: Or action with a quip of a joke here and there.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: Like this had a storyline and a flow to it.
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: Uh wasn't quite as fast-paced as the superhero movies, which is different.
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: You gotta kind of change your expectations of what you're getting into.
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: Uh it's not the Avengers or endgame.
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: It's different.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: It's an adventure.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: Even though it certainly had some shots that were reminiscent of Avengers.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: Oh, the visuals of it?
- 3:48SPEAKER_02: It was fantastic.
- 3:49SPEAKER_02: I mean, at the end of the day, action movie, superhero movie, DD movie, they all kind plot-wise, they're all gonna follow a similar arc anyway.
- 3:59SPEAKER_02: But I think the thing you hit on the head was the timing and throughout the whole movie.
- 4:05SPEAKER_02: It's like it's like it wasn't that action, action, action, action, but it was it was ups and downs, like there was backstory, and then there was plot building, and then the climax, and then on.
- 4:14SPEAKER_02: So it definitely felt the pacing felt different than a superhero movie.
- 4:17SPEAKER_02: So you were a hundred percent correct with that.
- 4:18SPEAKER_02: I agree.
- 4:20SPEAKER_01: I think going into it too.
- 4:21SPEAKER_01: So one of the one of the things that I was unsure of, I guess, going in was you know, are we gonna get a fantastic movie or are we gonna get a great movie that also looks like DD being played?
- 4:35SPEAKER_01: And my initial reaction is I could see the DD.
- 4:39SPEAKER_01: And I love that part of it.
- 4:41SPEAKER_01: And that kind of rolls into one of the things I wanted to ask you guys about.
- 4:45SPEAKER_01: I've been doing some reading uh of other people's opinions and have seen some arguments out there about rules versus role-playing per se, and how maybe they broke some of the traditional rules.
- 4:59SPEAKER_01: So what do you guys what's your feeling on that?
- 5:02SPEAKER_02: I I think that's a hard balance to achieve.
- 5:05SPEAKER_02: Uh I I watched several reviews out there where there were certain people who you who had played DD for a long time that were griping about how things were changed in such a way that it didn't really reflect in exactly how it's played in the game, right?
- 5:22SPEAKER_02: Uh it's still a movie though.
- 5:23SPEAKER_02: So you still have to have the pace.
- 5:31SPEAKER_02: It doesn't lend itself well to a plot in a movie where you have an hour and a half to two hours to tell that story.
- 5:36SPEAKER_01: You mean no one wants to watch the characters long rest here in the movie?
- 5:39SPEAKER_02: Why?
- 5:39SPEAKER_02: Why would you want to do that?
- 5:41SPEAKER_00: Sitting around a campfire for three eight hours.
- 5:44SPEAKER_02: That's also why DD takes 35 campaign takes 35, four-hour sessions.
- 5:49SPEAKER_02: We don't have that kind of time, friends.
- 5:51SPEAKER_02: I mean, we gotta move this along somehow.
- 5:53SPEAKER_02: And and part of that is you gotta change how these characters do things.
- 5:57SPEAKER_02: And and I was okay with that.
- 5:58SPEAKER_02: It didn't bother me at all.
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: It if you are a a strict rule follower and want to have something perfectly aligned with the books, this is not for you.
- 6:09SPEAKER_00: You've got to temper your expectations a little bit, they've got to make it fun because you've got to be able to draw in people that have never played DD before and don't care about the limitations of how many times you can wild shape.
- 6:23SPEAKER_01: I think you nailed it on the head, Brett.
- 6:25SPEAKER_01: The one thing that I think those people forget is that this movie was not just created for DD players.
- 6:30SPEAKER_01: Like they also want this movie to just be watchable for people that don't know the rules.
- 6:35SPEAKER_01: I also, you know, personally think that every table is different.
- 6:40SPEAKER_01: You could sit down at a table with a DM that says, Oh, you want to do something really awesome and I'm gonna limit you by the rules, like no.
- 6:50SPEAKER_01: And you guys know I do that.
- 6:52SPEAKER_01: We don't always follow the rules.
- 6:54SPEAKER_01: So I think that they did a good job of capturing the spirit of the rules, right?
- 6:59SPEAKER_01: Like we understand wild shape, and sure, if you you know, we'll talk about this a little bit later, but if you do look at the stat blocks they assigned to these characters, there was a limitation still outside of your typical rules.
- 7:12SPEAKER_02: But there were rules, they've just been bent and so a prime example of what you're talking about is we went with a group of let me see, one, two, three, four, five people.
- 7:21SPEAKER_02: So Brett and I were probably the more veteran veteran in quotation marks, veteran DD players.
- 7:27SPEAKER_02: So we were sitting at one end, and it was funny because like we were whispering, like, okay, that you could tell that was session zero.
- 7:32SPEAKER_02: And then it was like, oh, he definitely used the luck feed there when this happened, or you could see the things throughout there, you know, we were sitting down there talking about those things.
- 7:40SPEAKER_02: But the other three have only played for maybe the last six to eight months-ish, enjoyed this movie just as a movie, right?
- 7:49SPEAKER_02: And I think that's something that they were able to pull off to you to the point you made was moviegoers totally like this movie because it was fun, adventure style movie, but DD players also like this movie because there were those Easter eggs hidden in there that you could definitely draw the lines back to.
- 8:05SPEAKER_02: Hey, this happens in our campaign, or this, you know, I've read about this and does that.
- 8:09SPEAKER_00: Something that's kind of been a sh mind shift for me is we've been kind of spoiled by some of these long-running epic TV shows.
- 8:17SPEAKER_00: Game of Thrones, uh Lord the new Lord of the Rings TV show, where they're they're multi-episode long campaigns where you can develop a lot of backstory, a lot of time devoted to every single random aspect that doesn't really matter.
- 8:33SPEAKER_00: This is a movie, you've got to temper your expectations back to what a movie is, especially confined to the limitations of the time limit of a movie.
- 8:41SPEAKER_01: So I have a question there.
- 8:43SPEAKER_01: So, Brett, I know that you acquired a copy of the comic that kind of predates the movie.
- 8:50SPEAKER_01: So, do you get any more insight into some of those, you know, character connections or background stories a little more, or is that not necessarily in that uh it was pretty light, lightly connected.
- 9:02SPEAKER_00: Um it touched on the daughter of of Ed Edgin a little bit more than the movie really does.
- 9:10SPEAKER_00: I mean, she's a major feature in the movie, and like that's kind of the whole synopsis of what they're trying to do is rescue her.
- 9:19SPEAKER_00: Spoiler.
- 9:20SPEAKER_00: But uh in the in the in the prequel comic, it gets into a little bit more about that relationship and how it was a little bit more tense leading into the movie time frame.
- 9:31SPEAKER_02: Uh the other thing the comic book dive dove into, uh, and I was thankful that Brett let me read it, was uh uh how the helm got into the Underdark.
- 9:41SPEAKER_02: Like that was one of the things with the comic book was they told about that, and then the whole backstory of why he hit it there, blah, blah, blah.
- 9:48SPEAKER_02: Which he hinted at in the movie, but you actually get the full story in the comic book.
- 9:52SPEAKER_02: So as for as short as the comic book was, you did get a decent amount of information that connected back to the movie.
- 9:57SPEAKER_02: It was it was solid.
- 9:58SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 9:59SPEAKER_02: That's awesome.
- 10:00SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 10:00SPEAKER_01: Well, a question for you guys then.
- 10:02SPEAKER_01: So we've kind of talked about like briefly hinted at a couple of the characters, but uh who was your favorite?
- 10:09SPEAKER_02: Ooh, that's a tough one.
- 10:11SPEAKER_02: Um goodness gracious.
- 10:15SPEAKER_02: I don't know how to answer that.
- 10:17SPEAKER_02: I liked all of them.
- 10:18SPEAKER_02: That's the problem.
- 10:19SPEAKER_02: I I mean I think they did a good job with like giving the backstory for Egin and Holga.
- 10:25SPEAKER_02: Uh especially the part in the prison at the beginning was pretty funny in my mind.
- 10:29SPEAKER_02: And that was the session zero, was like them giving their backstory and how they got and blah blah blah.
- 10:33SPEAKER_02: Anyway, um I was a little disappointed.
- 10:37SPEAKER_02: So the the the the paladin, what how's how do we say his name?
- 10:40SPEAKER_02: Zen Zenek?
- 10:41SPEAKER_02: Zenk?
- 10:42SPEAKER_02: Zenek?
- 10:43SPEAKER_02: Zenek Zenek.
- 10:44SPEAKER_02: Okay, I can't remember how how they said his name.
- 10:46SPEAKER_02: Um he didn't feel like a true paladin to me since he didn't do a lot of he didn't do any smiting or anything, which when I think of a paladin, I think a smite.
- 10:55SPEAKER_02: Um but I think Egan was my favorite character.
- 10:57SPEAKER_02: Like like Chris Pine pulled that part off in such a way that it's like you couldn't help but love him.
- 11:02SPEAKER_02: And especially like when, spoiler alert, when his daughter like pushes him away through the movie because she's being manipulated, and then it's like you know, he has this whole internal thing, and then he comes back and still comes back for her, and blah blah blah.
- 11:14SPEAKER_02: I think that was just well played and it was a good character.
- 11:16SPEAKER_02: Should he have used Bardic inspiration at some point?
- 11:18SPEAKER_02: Yes, whatever.
- 11:23SPEAKER_00: Uh, I would say Holga's probably my favorite, but the one I'm gonna touch on is how Simon was played.
- 11:30SPEAKER_00: Um, I'm coming off of playing a warlock for a year and a half, and so seeing another spellcaster playing that, and you could really feel his roles on the table.
- 11:43SPEAKER_00: You could feel when he had a success and when he had a had a critical failure, you really felt it.
- 11:48SPEAKER_00: And it's like his gameplay, I feel like came through really well and how it was pro portrayed in the movie.
- 11:55SPEAKER_01: I love how you can like literally watch him try to attune to that helmet and see the fails, right?
- 12:00SPEAKER_01: Yes, over yes, over until it really mattered.
- 12:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I I agree.
- 12:05SPEAKER_01: That was a fantastic play.
- 12:06SPEAKER_00: I mean, I wish they gave Simon a little bit more backstory and like substance to him, but it was uh still a good flowing character in the movie.
- 12:18SPEAKER_02: Okay, one thing I want to touch on.
- 12:20SPEAKER_02: Okay, Doric, because we had none of us have mentioned her so far.
- 12:24SPEAKER_02: When you typically think of a druid, a tiefling is not what I would go to as the race for a druid.
- 12:32SPEAKER_02: Typically, I would go with an elf or you know, a gnome or a halfling or something like that.
- 12:37SPEAKER_02: But the fact that they went with something kind of playing to that true DD style of bear build the character you want to build, I thought it was really cool they went with the tiefling.
- 12:45SPEAKER_02: I thought she totally had antlers, kind of like uh Keelith in in uh Vox Machina, but then later she said something about uh being a uh tiefling.
- 12:53SPEAKER_02: I was like, oh shit, those are horns, yeah.
- 12:55SPEAKER_01: I thought the exact same thing, but I think she mentioned something about like being abandoned maybe as a child and then taken in by, yeah, like a wood elf clan or something like that.
- 13:04SPEAKER_01: Because I thought the same thing, but one of those things it's like, hey, I want to play a tiefling, and they're like, Okay, well, you know, how did you end up here?
- 13:11SPEAKER_01: Uh well, I was abandoned as a child, right?
- 13:14SPEAKER_01: Like that's a backstory, like uh session zero, what do I do?
- 13:17SPEAKER_01: That was somebody's fun fact.
- 13:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah, exactly.
- 13:20SPEAKER_00: Some of that might be connected to giving more diversity into the character classes of the people in the movie and making sure they encompass more than just humans.
- 13:30SPEAKER_00: Totally.
- 13:31SPEAKER_01: And one of the things, so I want to go back to Brett's comments about Simon.
- 13:34SPEAKER_01: I'm really hoping that what they're going to do is that this isn't the end, right?
- 13:39SPEAKER_01: Like this is part one, and then all of a sudden we're gonna end up with all these off shoots.
- 13:45SPEAKER_01: Because I agree, I want to know more about Simon, and I want to see that character progress in level, right?
- 13:51SPEAKER_01: I you get kind of maybe a touch of it during the campaign, but I want to see that expanded on.
- 13:56SPEAKER_00: Edgen is one that he missed half the majority of his barred skill set.
- 14:03SPEAKER_00: Like he didn't do much at all.
- 14:05SPEAKER_00: So that's when I really could see coming into a second movie.
- 14:08SPEAKER_00: Edgen learns how to be a bard, how learns how to do magic, levels up quite a quite a few levels.
- 14:16SPEAKER_02: I mean, the only bard thing we really saw him do was when when they were doing that illusion when he was playing the loot.
- 14:21SPEAKER_02: That was the only time we saw him do anything bard-ish, right?
- 14:24SPEAKER_02: Am I missing something?
- 14:25SPEAKER_01: He did play a song for Hulga after she went that's right.
- 14:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah, her ex-lover.
- 14:32SPEAKER_02: Very limited.
- 14:32SPEAKER_02: Yep, on the horse when they were riding out of town.
- 14:35SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 14:35SPEAKER_02: That's basically it.
- 14:36SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 14:37SPEAKER_02: Which, by the way, uh, spoiler alert, but shout out to Bradley Cooper for making an appearance in the DD movie.
- 14:42SPEAKER_02: Good job, man.
- 14:42SPEAKER_02: Appreciate that.
- 14:43SPEAKER_01: I didn't even notice it was him.
- 14:45SPEAKER_01: I did it.
- 14:46SPEAKER_01: Alright, well, uh, my favorite is Holga.
- 14:49SPEAKER_01: Uh, and I truthfully think that it's really just because that in my mind that was the character that was best portrayed by the actor.
- 14:59SPEAKER_01: I feel like she understood the role.
- 15:02SPEAKER_01: She totally dove into it.
- 15:04SPEAKER_01: You could tell like when rage was happening.
- 15:07SPEAKER_01: Uh, my favorite scene of hers is well, there are two.
- 15:11SPEAKER_01: But the first one, I think my ultimate favorite scene of her is when they're like in the armory where they're forging the weapons and she's fighting like a whole group of people towards the end of the movie.
- 15:21SPEAKER_01: Fantastic battle scene there.
- 15:23SPEAKER_01: But the initial one of just her and Edgen in the alleyway.
- 15:27SPEAKER_00: Oh my goodness.
- 15:28SPEAKER_00: Was hysterical with no weapons, just a brick she grabbed off the ground.
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: It was obvious, right?
- 15:34SPEAKER_01: Improvised weapon, like Holga's a barbarian, like boom, you just knew, and that that episode that particular piece was just hilarious.
- 15:42SPEAKER_02: Also, low-level characters just letting the barbarian do its thing, and I'm just gonna stay back and out of out of barbarian at level one or level five, like low levels is going to kick ass.
- 15:52SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 15:52SPEAKER_00: I mean, barbarians are gonna do that whenever they want, but Michelle Rodriguez nailed that performance.
- 15:58SPEAKER_00: She did.
- 15:59SPEAKER_00: I think that of the performances of all the characters, she was the best.
- 16:04SPEAKER_01: I agree.
- 16:05SPEAKER_01: Do you think she bulked up for this role?
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: I mean, she's always pretty ripped, but she probably leaned into it a little bit more, and they probably helped her enhance some of that aesthetic.
- 16:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 16:17SPEAKER_00: I wouldn't want to meet her in an alley.
- 16:19SPEAKER_00: Oh, hell no.
- 16:20SPEAKER_02: No, no, no, no.
- 16:22SPEAKER_01: Nope.
- 16:23SPEAKER_01: Alright, well, one of the things that uh I think is interesting that if we kind of look at those characters that we liked and we go back to that rules versus role-playing argument, it beyond did come out and actually publish like some NPC stat blocks to basically back up some of the you know rule blake, rule breaking more or less.
- 16:45SPEAKER_01: Uh, do you guys have a chance to review those?
- 16:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so on DD Beyond, they have each of the individual characters, and the one that really jumped out to me was the one we touched on earlier, which is Doric, the uh the the druid.
- 16:59SPEAKER_00: And normally you're limited on your wild shape to what is it, two per day, uh, most of the time.
- 17:06SPEAKER_00: Uh, but she has a special ability called Chain Shape, which is five per day.
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: So it really opens up, especially for a movie, being able to wild shape on on a needed basis, and you're not limited to you're not restricting yourself in how you're using it.
- 17:22SPEAKER_01: And is Wild Shape a full action typically too?
- 17:25SPEAKER_01: Because her like shape change is just a bonus action.
- 17:29SPEAKER_01: Oh, I believe in like action.
- 17:31SPEAKER_01: That much more powerful.
- 17:34SPEAKER_02: And one other thing that that DD Beyond mentioned, actually at the top of that page before you get into the stat blocks, was that the the stat blocks that they provided for all these characters are actually meant to be for NPCs and not playable characters.
- 17:46SPEAKER_02: So I think that's a very important part in here because as you're like looking at them, you're like, okay, well, why doesn't the paladin have smite?
- 17:51SPEAKER_02: Well, there's a reason for that because it's not an actual playable character and doesn't have the same features as a full paladin kind of thing.
- 17:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that makes sense.
- 17:59SPEAKER_01: Uh so getting ready to wrap up, I would you guys recommend it?
- 18:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 18:06SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 18:07SPEAKER_02: I I I think it's it's good for people that just want to see a good movie that takes a different pace and a different tone than a lot of things we've seen lately.
- 18:14SPEAKER_02: I think if you're a veteran DD player, I think there's a lot of Easter eggs for you within there, even though it doesn't necessarily hold, it doesn't tow the line of DD actual play.
- 18:25SPEAKER_00: Let's be honest.
- 18:25SPEAKER_00: At this point, if you're a DD player, you've already seen it, or you're planning on seeing it as soon as you can.
- 18:31SPEAKER_00: Uh, I would say though, for anybody who hasn't seen it, and especially if it's going out of a theater near you, watch it.
- 18:39SPEAKER_00: If it's on some sort of Netflix whatever system that it goes onto eventually, it is definitely worth a watch.
- 18:47SPEAKER_00: It's not something that you're going to want to re-watch 20, 30 times.
- 18:51SPEAKER_00: It's not one of those necessarily, like what, Lord of the Rings?
- 18:55SPEAKER_00: It's not an epic, it's not gonna win some major award necessarily, but I think it is it's a fun movie.
- 19:01SPEAKER_00: It's really interesting to learn more about DD, especially something that's been around for 20 or 30 years.
- 19:07SPEAKER_02: I I give it a shot.
- 19:08SPEAKER_02: An important thing to point out is that of all like the reviews that I listen to, even though some people nitpick things, the reviews from whether it's just your average moviegoer or whether it's your veteran DD players, it's been positive.
- 19:23SPEAKER_02: And even Rotten Tomatoes, like its critical reviews have are at 90% and its audience score is at a 93%.
- 19:29SPEAKER_02: There's a lot of movies out there that never hit that mark.
- 19:33SPEAKER_02: No, and so so that's still impressive.
- 19:35SPEAKER_02: So it's a fun movie, totally, and so the fact that it hits that, and then that probably increases the likelihood that there's a sequel of some sort.
- 19:42SPEAKER_02: Uh we should all be proud of that because it's better than the original DD movie that game.
- 19:46SPEAKER_00: The one I would say it's most similar to would be kind of Guardians of the Galaxy, Galaxy-esque, where it's it's kind of in that same realm, kind of the same that same field, maybe not as comic booky.
- 20:00SPEAKER_01: Not as comic booky, but I feel like it has that sense of humor, though.
- 20:05SPEAKER_01: Humor, pacing.
- 20:07SPEAKER_01: Totally.
- 20:08SPEAKER_01: Story.
- 20:09SPEAKER_01: I mean, even like general plot line, right?
- 20:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I would see it again.
- 20:13SPEAKER_01: I mean, I want to watch it again to go back and like look at it through the lens of okay, it was a great movie.
- 20:18SPEAKER_01: I really enjoyed it.
- 20:19SPEAKER_01: Now, what all did I miss?
- 20:21SPEAKER_01: Who?
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: You could you could watch this multiple times and focus, like watch it through specifically focusing on a different aspect and get a completely different experience.
- 20:32SPEAKER_01: I even think looking at it, like you mentioned earlier, Ross, the scene at towards the beginning about them breaking out of the prison, right?
- 20:40SPEAKER_01: Where oh my goodness, you just look at it and it's like here you could look through a published adventure.
- 20:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so on the DM side, right?
- 20:48SPEAKER_01: Like I'm read several published adventures and sitting through it, I know what the book says, right?
- 20:53SPEAKER_01: And you could kind of see that play out, and then the characters just do whatever the hell they want, right?
- 21:00SPEAKER_01: And it's like this is what would have happened if you would have stuck the course and instead, no, like it goes completely awry.
- 21:09SPEAKER_01: D is so much more fun when you screw over the DM.
- 21:12SPEAKER_01: It felt just like an actual session, and that's how it should feel.
- 21:16SPEAKER_02: You know, the best part about that whole scene was like as he's going out the window, and the one judge or whatever it was, like was like, we were going to release you.
