- 0:36Speaker 2: But for right now, Hi, we're getting a selfie. I
- 0:41Speaker 2: am sitting next to one of my faves, one of
- 0:44Speaker 2: my favorite leads, very close friend, very long time friend,
- 0:48Speaker 2: well long time. Let's we need to talk about how
- 0:52Speaker 2: long we have known each other. I am welcome or
- 0:55Speaker 2: I'm welcoming. I am welcoming the beautiful Tianna Stagliano. Hi.
- 1:00Speaker 3: Eighteen years. Eighteen years, Oh my gosh, because I's just
- 1:03Speaker 3: celebrated his eighteenth birthday. Yes, he did so eighteen years.
- 1:06Speaker 3: I was at your house and I was holding your
- 1:08Speaker 3: first car. That's right. You still need to me that
- 1:10Speaker 3: your angel baby, angel baby in your house and veil
- 1:15Speaker 3: with just so young and fresh face. Yes, eighteen years
- 1:21Speaker 3: that is so and isn't it true how our friendship
- 1:23Speaker 3: has grown over the years. I know it's just blossomed,
- 1:27Speaker 3: just like blossoms.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Just like an eye, just like us. Okay, how are
- 1:35Speaker 2: you loving Lake Tahoe?
- 1:37Speaker 3: Isn't this amazing? I'm having the best time, right, Okay?
- 1:40Speaker 2: Good?
- 1:40Speaker 3: Like I'm not sure if I'm going to go home
- 1:42Speaker 3: or if I'm going to stay. I's up in the
- 1:45Speaker 3: air at this point, the best time.
- 1:47Speaker 2: I'm so glad because, as I think, you know, this
- 1:51Speaker 2: was kind of my idea because I wanted to play
- 1:53Speaker 2: pickleball selfishly because they always go on these golf trips
- 1:57Speaker 2: and what I you know, other fun stuff. But but
- 2:00Speaker 2: I was like, can we do a pickleball? And I'm
- 2:03Speaker 2: so proud of you because you haven't ever played, or
- 2:06Speaker 2: at least not a lot.
- 2:08Speaker 3: I have never ever played, and I would have to.
- 2:11Speaker 3: I really should credit you, my coach, for all of
- 2:15Speaker 3: my skills, for my athleticism, for just my abilities in
- 2:21Speaker 3: general on the pickleball court. Now, I didn't win a
- 2:24Speaker 3: single game, Yes you did. You want a little tiny trophy.
- 2:28Speaker 3: I'm sorry. I didn't win a single game. But I
- 2:33Speaker 3: looked good. That's right. I'm stayed and I had a
- 2:37Speaker 3: lot of fun. Good.
- 2:38Speaker 2: That's all that matters. That is all that matters.
- 2:41Speaker 3: I'm a pickleballer.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Yeah, no one, I mean for real, you're going to
- 2:45Speaker 2: be a pickleballer because you're going to go home and
- 2:47Speaker 2: you're going to find a club, just like I told you,
- 2:49Speaker 2: and you're going to find some fun people to play with,
- 2:52Speaker 2: maybe even get some lessons. You're going to have so
- 2:55Speaker 2: much fun. And it really truly is obsessing, like it's
- 2:59Speaker 2: something to.
- 2:59Speaker 3: Obsess about it ever since. Yeah, I love Birthing a pickleballer.
- 3:07Speaker 3: She's a pickleballer.
- 3:10Speaker 2: You really are a pickleballer, or you can call there's
- 3:16Speaker 2: all there's tons of merch okay around pickleball.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Let's just before we put the cart before the horse. Yeah,
- 3:23Speaker 3: let's just make sure I know how to play first.
- 3:25Speaker 2: No, no, no, But what I was going to say
- 3:26Speaker 2: is you're a day dinker, so you can be a
- 3:29Speaker 2: day drinker but also a day dinker because Dnking is
- 3:31Speaker 2: a pick pickleballer.
- 3:33Speaker 3: Day dnker. I'm really doing well. I'm just thriving. Look
- 3:37Speaker 3: at me. Oh my gosh, I love it. It makes
- 3:42Speaker 3: personality right, day dinker pickleballer.
- 3:45Speaker 2: Okay, so tons of people here, who have you been
- 3:48Speaker 2: having the most fun with?
- 3:50Speaker 3: Honest to god, in it, I'm not I'm not being
- 3:52Speaker 3: ridiculous right now. The group as a whole has just
- 3:55Speaker 3: been really awesome. I was laughing. I was having a
- 3:59Speaker 3: conversation with one of my friends because I get up
- 4:00Speaker 3: pretty early, and I was sitting out back and I
- 4:02Speaker 3: was watching the river, you know, and I'm just like
- 4:04Speaker 3: basking in just like the joy, the beautiful trees, thinking
- 4:07Speaker 3: Lord for all of this, you know, I'm just so happy.
- 4:09Speaker 3: And I was laughing because I was on the phone
- 4:10Speaker 3: with a girlfriend of mine and she's just like, how's
- 4:12Speaker 3: it going? And I was like, there is nothing more
- 4:13Speaker 3: fun than taking twenty washed up reality stars, sticking us
- 4:19Speaker 3: under one roof and making us talk about our experience
- 4:22Speaker 3: on television real, right, Who's better? It was more popular?
- 4:26Speaker 3: Who made more money, Who's got bigger boobs? Who laughed more?
- 4:29Speaker 3: Who made out with more girls? Bob guinny there. It
- 4:33Speaker 3: just there's been a lot of laughs. Like I have
- 4:35Speaker 3: a hard time being like, oh, I'm I'm here for work, yeah,
- 4:40Speaker 3: but like this is a this is really great. Yeah,
- 4:42Speaker 3: And you know what, I just right. So then I
- 4:44Speaker 3: come back to like, I'm truly blessed. Yeah, you know
- 4:46Speaker 3: what I mean, Yeah, I'm working, but like, how many
- 4:50Speaker 3: people get to say that they're working and they're having
- 4:53Speaker 3: the most fun while doing it?
- 4:54Speaker 2: Totally?
- 4:55Speaker 3: Who gets great to be this lucky, this blessed to
- 4:58Speaker 3: be able to do something like this where we get
- 5:00Speaker 3: to spend a couple of days with our friends right
- 5:02Speaker 3: right when the last time we got to see each other,
- 5:04Speaker 3: we actually just got to be together and talk and
- 5:06Speaker 3: catch up, you know what I mean? Yeah, who really
- 5:09Speaker 3: gets to say that they get to do this? Totally?
- 5:11Speaker 3: I so agree? Yeah, yeah, so a great.
- 5:15Speaker 2: It really makes me happy, and it has been such
- 5:18Speaker 2: a good group, such a good group from all different
- 5:21Speaker 2: you know, walks but end shows and whatever. But I
- 5:25Speaker 2: I love this kind of stuff. It like fills my bucket. Obviously,
- 5:28Speaker 2: my husband is a little bit different in that, you know,
- 5:31Speaker 2: social things are not his cup of tea, and it
- 5:33Speaker 2: kind of drains his bucket a little bit. But I
- 5:36Speaker 2: was like, babe, just let's you can go read, you
- 5:39Speaker 2: can take a nap, you can go hang out in nature,
- 5:41Speaker 2: which is like his favorite thing to do on the planet.
- 5:43Speaker 3: So you know what, from an outsider. Do you know
- 5:46Speaker 3: what is really beautiful is like he just lets you shine, Trista,
- 5:50Speaker 3: Like it's nice to have him here and like I
- 5:53Speaker 3: can see like Ryan would much rather be in his room. Yes,
- 5:56Speaker 3: I'm sorry, not all the time, that's not what I
- 5:57Speaker 3: don't know how I mean that, but yeah, but he has.
- 6:00Speaker 2: He did enjoy. He's gone out, but he did thoroughly enjoy.
- 6:05Speaker 3: Beautiful that he allows you to do these things and
- 6:08Speaker 3: he allows you to shine. He's not fighting you for it,
- 6:10Speaker 3: he's not fighting you in it. He allows you. He
- 6:13Speaker 3: knows you thrive in these things, and he allows you
- 6:15Speaker 3: to do that. And I think it's really beautiful.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Thank you. That means a lot. I'll take I'll take
- 6:21Speaker 2: what she's having. I'll take what she's having. Yeah, he
- 6:26Speaker 2: is good at that. He I think he does get
- 6:29Speaker 2: joy from seeing me happy. And it does. We were
- 6:32Speaker 2: just saying it is exhausting, like being on constantly and
- 6:37Speaker 2: I will be drained, but in the moment, I just
- 6:41Speaker 2: I'll stay up and like have a glass of wine
- 6:43Speaker 2: with everybody and or whatever, you know, cocktail and just
- 6:47Speaker 2: being social and like connecting with people, like the connection,
- 6:51Speaker 2: the deep connection, the that is the meat.
- 6:53Speaker 3: And potatoes of life. I mean, I'm a true extrovert,
- 6:56Speaker 3: so like I thrive in moments like this. But even
- 6:58Speaker 3: when we're just sitting in you and Bob and I
- 7:00Speaker 3: are just chit chatting and talking about the past and
- 7:02Speaker 3: we're getting tired, right the second we walk in here
- 7:04Speaker 3: and we do this, I turn on. This brings me
- 7:07Speaker 3: to life, like there's something really beautiful in it, and
- 7:09Speaker 3: like there's people that you just now naturally gravitate towards.
- 7:12Speaker 3: And this has just been a really great group of people. Yes,
- 7:15Speaker 3: it's been really really great. Yes, agreed. So I want
- 7:19Speaker 3: to get into some like recent stuff, but I know
- 7:24Speaker 3: life has been you know, a little rough as of late,
- 7:28Speaker 3: maybe like you know, maybe a year, maybe two whatever.
- 7:33Speaker 2: I will not be pushing you in any way, shape
- 7:37Speaker 2: or form, But is there anything that you want to
- 7:39Speaker 2: share with everybody about what's going on personally with you
- 7:46Speaker 2: and Steven and where you are at kind of like
- 7:52Speaker 2: mental health wise. Yeah, no, not really.
- 7:57Speaker 3: No, I think there's a beauty in healing, and I
- 8:01Speaker 3: wouldn't think that anyone would like to be in my shoes.
- 8:04Speaker 3: In the last few months. It has not been fun,
- 8:07Speaker 3: and there is some piece of I chose to go
- 8:11Speaker 3: on television, I choose to do podcasts, I choose to
- 8:16Speaker 3: have a life on social media. That is my choice.
- 8:21Speaker 3: That there's also a piece of like my personal life,
- 8:28Speaker 3: my divorce, things that my children will have to read
- 8:32Speaker 3: living out and what has truly been the most difficult
- 8:36Speaker 3: time of my life is violating. Yeah, it's violating.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I know.
- 8:42Speaker 3: But I'm freaking strong and I'm really resilient, and I
- 8:46Speaker 3: choose every day to keep my side of the street clean.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Good for you and your kids side of the street clean. Yeah,
- 8:52Speaker 2: they're your priority. I know that for a fact.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, one hundred percent. But like at the end
- 8:58Speaker 3: of the day, my children get to do is love
- 9:02Speaker 3: their father and they get to love me. I'm their mother.
- 9:05Speaker 3: That's what they deserve.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Yep.
- 9:07Speaker 3: They don't get to deserve. They don't get to take
- 9:09Speaker 3: on the mess of what takes place in broken relationships
- 9:13Speaker 3: and broken marriages, the unhealth that happens. They don't get
- 9:17Speaker 3: to do that. What they deserve and their right is
- 9:21Speaker 3: to love their father and love their mother and feel
- 9:25Speaker 3: joy and happiness and peace and safety in that. That's
- 9:28Speaker 3: what my children deserve, and that's what I hope to
- 9:29Speaker 3: give to.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Them great way of looking at it. I know you've
- 9:34Speaker 2: been through so much and more than anyone going through divorce,
- 9:41Speaker 2: not more than anyone has been through, but it's like
- 9:45Speaker 2: an extreme. Right. The whole jail and all of that
- 9:50Speaker 2: is just an extreme that you don't expect when you're.
- 9:55Speaker 3: No Trista. I would not tell you that I thought
- 9:59Speaker 3: that that that's where I would see myself at forty
- 10:02Speaker 3: three years old. No, No, that was How did you
- 10:05Speaker 3: explain it? Last night? With a sheet?
- 10:07Speaker 2: The woman was like, here's your white sheet, and I
- 10:12Speaker 2: don't know what you said.
- 10:12Speaker 3: It's not a good look. Yeah, it's not. It's not.
- 10:16Speaker 2: It's not where anyone wants to be, especially when you
- 10:18Speaker 2: are an upstanding citizen and a loving mother and a
- 10:23Speaker 2: wonderful human like obviously you know you know what.
- 10:26Speaker 3: I think that as individuals, we all have different highs
- 10:31Speaker 3: and different lows, you know what I mean. And there
- 10:33Speaker 3: are pivotal moments in your life where you choose to
- 10:37Speaker 3: make different choices, you choose to look inward and choose growth.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Right.
- 10:47Speaker 3: My hope is that at some point I can only
- 10:49Speaker 3: go up right, just when I think like things couldn't
- 10:53Speaker 3: get worse in the past few years, and something else
- 10:56Speaker 3: has happened. I have to think, like, Okay, there's that
- 10:59Speaker 3: has to get better. Yea, this can't be my story.
- 11:03Speaker 3: I don't belong here, and I won't pretend to know
- 11:07Speaker 3: the future and I won't pretend to be God. But like,
- 11:09Speaker 3: there has to be a piece in here where like
- 11:11Speaker 3: I needed to take something, I needed to learn and
- 11:14Speaker 3: I needed to grow, and I'm open to that. And
- 11:16Speaker 3: for me, that's where the beauty comes from, right. I mean,
- 11:20Speaker 3: I'm not perfect by any means, and I am human,
- 11:23Speaker 3: and there are many parts of what has taken place
- 11:26Speaker 3: over the last few months that I would love to
- 11:28Speaker 3: never ever have to think a big about again. But
- 11:32Speaker 3: I choose to learn and grow. That's what I choose
- 11:38Speaker 3: to do, and I believe that there's beauty in that.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Yep, I'm right there with you. Okay, enough that So kids,
- 11:46Speaker 2: how are they? You just went to Hawaii? How is
- 11:48Speaker 2: the trip?
- 11:49Speaker 3: This trip was great? My kids are great. They're just
- 11:51Speaker 3: so great. Like I know, everybody thinks their own kids
- 11:53Speaker 3: are great, but mine.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Are really great.
- 11:55Speaker 3: Mine are like really really great, you know what I mean.
- 11:58Speaker 3: They're easy, and they're kind, and they're a lot of
- 12:01Speaker 3: fun and they're happy. They're like genuinely happy, and they're
- 12:05Speaker 3: really polite. It was never been important to me for
- 12:08Speaker 3: my children to be like straight a kids. Like, I'm
- 12:11Speaker 3: not trying to raise geniuses. Yeah, what I want is
- 12:14Speaker 3: to raise good people, good loving and kind people. And
- 12:18Speaker 3: do you know what? They are good, kind and loving
- 12:21Speaker 3: people and they're also really polite. They say please and
- 12:26Speaker 3: thank you with everything that they do. And I'm just
- 12:29Speaker 3: like beaming from the inside because I worked tirelessly on
- 12:32Speaker 3: their manners. Yes, tirelessly.
- 12:36Speaker 2: That's amazing and something you should very much be proud of.
- 12:39Speaker 3: Thank you, I am.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Because my kids could work on their manners a little bit.
- 12:44Speaker 2: If you're listening, Maxwell and Blakesley. My kids are kind
- 12:52Speaker 2: and very happy, and yes, that is the endgame, for
- 12:56Speaker 2: them to be happy. That's all you want, you know,
- 12:59Speaker 2: happy and hell see, every night I pray that my
- 13:03Speaker 2: family and friends are happy, healthy and safe. Yes, those
- 13:06Speaker 2: are that's what I want. Yeah, I've added a few
- 13:09Speaker 2: to mine.
- 13:09Speaker 3: I'm sure my new one is bless him, heal me.
- 13:15Speaker 3: That's my new one. Amen.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Okay, what's it like traveling as a single mom with
- 13:30Speaker 2: two kids who aren't a baby like we were just
- 13:32Speaker 2: talking to Ben about how he's traveling with Winnie.
- 13:35Speaker 3: Who is the cutest thing on the planet. Oh my gosh,
- 13:38Speaker 3: she's really cute.
- 13:40Speaker 2: But you know, traveling with a baby is one thing.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Traveling with kids who need to get up and walk
- 13:46Speaker 2: around and like you know, might not sit there on
- 13:50Speaker 2: their iPad or whatever. Watch a movie. How is it
- 13:53Speaker 2: with you with your kids and traveling.
- 13:56Speaker 3: It's amazing? Okay, good. Addison and Austin are at the
- 13:59Speaker 3: right age. Austin is nine, Addison is eleven, and at
- 14:02Speaker 3: this point, like they're pretty self sufficient, do you know
- 14:05Speaker 3: what I mean? I have genuinely loved my children at
- 14:09Speaker 3: every age, but it's just different. It's just different. And
- 14:12Speaker 3: right now, like they're they're pretty self sufficient, but like
- 14:14Speaker 3: in times that they really need me, but they need
- 14:16Speaker 3: me in different ways, do you know what I mean.
- 14:20Speaker 3: We're very, very very lucky that my kids are well traveled.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Mm. You know.
- 14:26Speaker 3: I was trying to tell my children, like, oh my god,
- 14:27Speaker 3: we're going to Hawaii, like none of our friends are going,
- 14:29Speaker 3: and I was like, easy, easy, Now you know how
- 14:32Speaker 3: grown adults will never hop the water, They'll never go
- 14:35Speaker 3: to Hawaii in their entire life. Ye like you have
- 14:37Speaker 3: a lot to be really grateful for itly so they're
- 14:41Speaker 3: excellent travelers. And the nice thing about this age is
- 14:44Speaker 3: like they carry their own bags. I'm like, hey, you
- 14:46Speaker 3: need some snacks, you better put them in your bag.
- 14:49Speaker 3: We are no longer playing this game. Oh you need
- 14:51Speaker 3: some snacks, they go in your bag. Needs to go
- 14:53Speaker 3: in your bag. Do you have your headphones? I won't
- 14:55Speaker 3: ask you again, yep, and they do. Do they pack themselves?
- 14:59Speaker 3: I hack For the most part. Addison is at the
- 15:01Speaker 3: age where she's very particularly she's wearing, so she likes
- 15:04Speaker 3: to make sure she double checks what I put in
- 15:06Speaker 3: the suitcase for her. Like Austin really doesn't care. Yeah,
- 15:09Speaker 3: He's like, whatever, I'll wear the same shorts all week,
- 15:11Speaker 3: well long, I don't care. He's gonna remember his switch
- 15:14Speaker 3: and his phone so he can play roadblocks, and he's
- 15:17Speaker 3: going to bring a book like he loves to read.
- 15:19Speaker 3: And then he's pretty solid. He also just like likes
- 15:22Speaker 3: to sleep, so he has no problem to be like,
- 15:24Speaker 3: can I just like lay on your shoulder? I'm like, yeah, man,
- 15:26Speaker 3: all da yes please. He's the greatest guy in the
- 15:29Speaker 3: entire world.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Oh my god, snuggling. I miss that so much with Max.
- 15:33Speaker 3: I enjoy my children. I genuinely enjoy my children. I
- 15:37Speaker 3: enjoy to do things with them. And I really enjoyed
- 15:39Speaker 3: vacationing in Hawaii with them. Like they're just they're just
- 15:42Speaker 3: really great. Yes, I.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Love that age there. Let's see, eleven would be like
- 15:50Speaker 2: fifth grade? Is she going into six going into sixth? Okay,
- 15:53Speaker 2: and then he's going in fourth yeah, okay. Oh, it
- 15:58Speaker 2: really is such a sweet time because once they hit
- 16:03Speaker 2: middle school, oh, the dealing with like the mean people
- 16:07Speaker 2: and like, so we were talking a lot about this
- 16:10Speaker 2: today is and Ben walked away from the conversation. He's like,
- 16:15Speaker 2: I want to always have a baby.
- 16:18Speaker 3: I wanted to grow up. We were talking about sex.
- 16:21Speaker 3: We were talking about a great topic of conversation because
- 16:25Speaker 3: your children are older than mine. So you know, I's
- 16:27Speaker 3: asking you and Ryan's advice about like when do you
- 16:30Speaker 3: do it right? Because Austin is nine, Addison is eleven. Yeah,
- 16:33Speaker 3: and I know that I was sharing that like I
- 16:37Speaker 3: was in high school before I heard girls at the
- 16:40Speaker 3: lunch table talking about a bja oh yeah, they were
- 16:42Speaker 3: talking about food, right, I did not know. And then
- 16:45Speaker 3: when I heard that they were putting certain things in
- 16:46Speaker 3: their mouth. I was like, that's absolutely disgusting. I don't
- 16:49Speaker 3: know why you would do something like that. Like I
- 16:50Speaker 3: was like, this is why would you do that? But
- 16:53Speaker 3: apparently these kids these days talk about it at an
- 16:57Speaker 3: early age.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Well not only talk about it, but they see it
- 17:00Speaker 2: through social media and on the internet. And that's why
- 17:02Speaker 2: I wanted to talk about it with you today, because
- 17:05Speaker 2: I think you're right on the precipice of when you
- 17:08Speaker 2: really do need to have the conversation with them, because
- 17:12Speaker 2: you at least I didn't want my kids learning about
- 17:16Speaker 2: certain things through their friends or through the internet.
- 17:21Speaker 3: Also, what I was asking you is it's you know,
- 17:24Speaker 3: I'm only going to get one go with this, right,
- 17:26Speaker 3: you know what I mean? And right they are at
- 17:28Speaker 3: an age where I'm trying to figure out when is
- 17:30Speaker 3: it appropriate. I don't want it to be too early,
- 17:32Speaker 3: but I also don't want it to be too late.
- 17:33Speaker 3: I don't want them to be learning about this stuff
- 17:35Speaker 3: at school. So I appreciate you know, having friends who
- 17:40Speaker 3: are in a different phase of life, but I appreciate
- 17:42Speaker 3: you and Ryan sharing openly with me about how I
- 17:45Speaker 3: could navigate this with my kids, and not to say
- 17:48Speaker 3: that it has conversation. But it was like from my
- 17:51Speaker 3: dad and he was like, hey, a guy does this
- 17:52Speaker 3: and a woman does this, and like, don't do it totally,
- 17:55Speaker 3: don't come home pregnant. That was the extent of it. Like,
- 17:58Speaker 3: I want to create a very safe space for my children.
- 18:00Speaker 3: I want them to always feel like they can come
- 18:02Speaker 3: to me and talk to me. And the truth of
- 18:04Speaker 3: the matter is that sex in a capacity when you're
- 18:08Speaker 3: ready is a very natural and wonderful thing to have
- 18:11Speaker 3: in a relationship. One, yeah, it is, totally, but it's
- 18:16Speaker 3: also there's the basics of it that you have to
- 18:17Speaker 3: teach your children. And that's where I'm just trying to
- 18:19Speaker 3: gauge and understand when is the time to do that totally.
- 18:23Speaker 2: And that's hard, and you have to do what is
- 18:25Speaker 2: right for you and your family, right, but I just
- 18:28Speaker 2: want you to start thinking about it, you know, just
- 18:30Speaker 2: because they are at the ages that they're at, and go, like,
- 18:35Speaker 2: talk to other people. You know, this is for you
- 18:37Speaker 2: guys out there who are listening to go talk to
- 18:39Speaker 2: other people about what was right for them, what they
- 18:43Speaker 2: were able to do, when they did it, why they
- 18:45Speaker 2: did it, you know, all of those things. For us,
- 18:48Speaker 2: I just I can't remember exactly when it was, and
- 18:52Speaker 2: I just feel like it really allowed my kids to
- 18:57Speaker 2: know that there's nothing that I won't talk with them.
- 19:00Speaker 2: There's no shame. They I am their safe place. They
- 19:04Speaker 2: can always come to me always, and I I want
- 19:10Speaker 2: them to. I want them to always know that they
- 19:13Speaker 2: can come to me and feel comfortable. And so as
- 19:16Speaker 2: long as you establish that, I feel like that's so
- 19:19Speaker 2: valuable and important and crucial in a parental, you know,
- 19:24Speaker 2: relationship with your child. Yeah.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Absolutely, I'm grateful for the advice. You know what I mean.
- 19:29Speaker 3: I admire you guys, you know, as parents, a couple.
- 19:31Speaker 3: You know what I mean. Thank you?
- 19:34Speaker 2: Okay, So what things in your life are you looking
- 19:37Speaker 2: forward to? Obviously, you have been working as a private
- 19:43Speaker 2: polight attendant, which I feel like is like one of
- 19:46Speaker 2: those jobs where it's like a dream job, dream job
- 19:50Speaker 2: for people, especially for someone like you who loves the
- 19:54Speaker 2: whole like chef, catering, nurturing experience. Tell less about that job.
- 20:02Speaker 2: What's going on currently in your work life and what
- 20:06Speaker 2: you're looking forward to?
- 20:08Speaker 3: I think with you know, everything that's taken place in
- 20:11Speaker 3: my life, I'm in a very transformational I'm in a
- 20:15Speaker 3: very transformational place. Like I feel like I'm almost like
- 20:18Speaker 3: this like rebirth, you know what I mean, which is
- 20:21Speaker 3: really exciting, Which is really exciting. I get to decide
- 20:24Speaker 3: what do I do next, relationship wise, career wise, as
- 20:30Speaker 3: a woman, you know what I mean, as a mother,
- 20:32Speaker 3: as as a business person, you know. And I have
- 20:37Speaker 3: so many things that I feel passionate about, and I
- 20:41Speaker 3: have so many jobs that I love, so I'm trying
- 20:46Speaker 3: to figure that out. I've been in corporate aviation for
- 20:49Speaker 3: fifteen years, and yes, you're right, I love my job.
- 20:51Speaker 2: I love this.
- 20:51Speaker 3: It's called corporate aviation.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Sorry, I was like, that's a luxury flight attendant or
- 20:55Speaker 2: whatever I just call.
- 20:56Speaker 3: It's totally corporated. I'm a glorified server. That's what I am.
- 21:00Speaker 2: But I work whatever thousand thousand, yeah, you.
- 21:03Speaker 3: Know, forty forty eight sometimes okay, yeah, corporate aviation, which
- 21:08Speaker 3: is private jets. I do get a lot of interest
- 21:12Speaker 3: in my job, and it is a very interesting job.
- 21:14Speaker 3: But I think that's what people they see, the glamorous
- 21:18Speaker 3: side of my job. You know. I love posting videos
- 21:21Speaker 3: of me in the galley making up food because it
- 21:23Speaker 3: is it is like you have to be a magician
- 21:25Speaker 3: in the air, like, there's no pulling over when I
- 21:27Speaker 3: forget the hot sauce. Like, I have to know how
- 21:30Speaker 3: to create things and make things in the air from
- 21:32Speaker 3: what I've got. Yeah, and I've gotten pretty good over
- 21:35Speaker 3: the years of figuring out how to make things in
- 21:38Speaker 3: the air, how to make sauces, how to heat things up,
- 21:41Speaker 3: how to not heat things up, how to burn things.
- 21:42Speaker 3: I've done at a time or two. I could tell
- 21:43Speaker 3: you some stories. Tell them, I tell them a story.
- 21:48Speaker 3: My biggest fear in the air is a fire on
- 21:50Speaker 3: an airplane. Oh, no kidding, because an airplane is literally
- 21:54Speaker 3: it'll go up in seconds. Yeah, you know what I mean.
- 21:57Speaker 3: I think that anyone who is in a aviation in
- 22:00Speaker 3: general would relate to what I'm saying. A fire in
- 22:02Speaker 3: the air is very scary. You have to find it quickly.
- 22:05Speaker 3: You have to hope you can put it out. You
- 22:06Speaker 3: have to hope you can get it extinguished and then
- 22:08Speaker 3: get your plane to safety. It's scary. It's terrifying. I
- 22:13Speaker 3: cook a lot. If I have the luxury of being
- 22:15Speaker 3: at home, I will prep things in my own kitchen
- 22:17Speaker 3: and then I take them at work. Yep, and I
- 22:20Speaker 3: make some pretty damn good biscuits trista. It's my grandmother's recipe,
- 22:24Speaker 3: and I only do it when I have a lot
- 22:26Speaker 3: of free time because it's pretty labor intensive for me.
- 22:28Speaker 3: I'm not a solid baker, so I follow the recipe
- 22:31Speaker 3: to a tea, you know. But there's a lot of
- 22:32Speaker 3: folding and kneading and folding and kneading, and then you
- 22:36Speaker 3: cut them up into beautiful squares and then you freeze
- 22:38Speaker 3: them and there's a lot of butter. And I love boom.
- 22:41Speaker 3: So I bake these beautiful biscuits at home and I
- 22:43Speaker 3: freeze them overnight, so go so I can take them
- 22:45Speaker 3: to my plane and bake them the next day. Yeah,
- 22:47Speaker 3: and we're going across the water. So when I say
- 22:49Speaker 3: that we're going over Hawaii, it's the largest body of
- 22:51Speaker 3: water you'll ever fly over, which is there's a point
- 22:55Speaker 3: of no return. Did you know that?
- 22:56Speaker 2: What do you mean? No, I don't know what you mean.
- 22:59Speaker 3: Hawaii from l Hawaii is the largest body of water
- 23:02Speaker 3: you'll ever fly over. Okay, The point of no return
- 23:04Speaker 3: is like once you get halfway, if something were to happen,
- 23:07Speaker 3: you keep going. Oh until that point something happens, you
- 23:10Speaker 3: would turn around and come back. Okay, but there is
- 23:12Speaker 3: a point okay that like, if something were to happen,
- 23:16Speaker 3: you try to make it the rest of the way.
- 23:18Speaker 3: I'm no pilot, so i don't have to deal with that, Okay.
- 23:21Speaker 3: I'm just along for the ride. So I'm baking these biscuits.
- 23:25Speaker 3: And I make the mistake of putting the biscuits on
- 23:28Speaker 3: the top rack. And if you've never seen an oven
- 23:30Speaker 3: on an airplane, and a galley is really small, It's
- 23:32Speaker 3: very small. If you took a good look at my
- 23:35Speaker 3: arms in my hands, you'll see scars up and down
- 23:37Speaker 3: because the oven is so small and the racks are
- 23:40Speaker 3: like it's like an inch and a half in between.
- 23:42Speaker 3: So you just constantly and I'm you work fast on
- 23:44Speaker 3: a plane, you know. And if you're thinking about in
- 23:46Speaker 3: a restaurant, I'm serving a meal surface sometimes to eight
- 23:50Speaker 3: or twelve people, sometimes just a few, but sometimes a lot,
- 23:53Speaker 3: And so I'm doing a lot of things in a
- 23:55Speaker 3: very small space. I slap these biscuits in the oven
- 23:59Speaker 3: and don't realize that when they rise, they sit on
- 24:02Speaker 3: the top part of the oven. So pretty quickly these
- 24:06Speaker 3: biscuits start burning and the airplane and I've like never
- 24:09Speaker 3: done this this was only a few years ago. Okay,
- 24:11Speaker 3: So I tend to think that I'm a pretty great
- 24:13Speaker 3: flight attendant. And all of a sudden they start smoking.
- 24:17Speaker 3: And the other thing that you don't know or you
- 24:18Speaker 3: might know about an aircraft is like we circulate the
- 24:21Speaker 3: same air, yes, right, So when it starts smoking, like
- 24:24Speaker 3: it's smoking, oh, and I'm like, oh, I'm like, you know,
- 24:28Speaker 3: I'm trying to wave it. I turned the oven off,
- 24:30Speaker 3: like I listened to my cues first, Like, I turn
- 24:32Speaker 3: the oven off. Nothing actually like lights, flames, you know
- 24:34Speaker 3: what I mean, but like when you burn something in
- 24:35Speaker 3: your oven at home. But the problem is is it
- 24:38Speaker 3: starts going through the whole air of the aircraft. Crap.
- 24:41Speaker 3: So I turn the oven off, and these biscuits are
- 24:43Speaker 3: chalk like they're done, and I can't They're too hot
- 24:45Speaker 3: to throw in the trash bag. And I'm like, there's
- 24:46Speaker 3: no way you can't just toss them out the window.
- 24:49Speaker 2: You know.
- 24:49Speaker 3: So my pilot, yeah, sorry, sir, no, don't mind the biscuits.
- 24:55Speaker 3: My pilot comes back and he's like, are you burning something?
- 24:58Speaker 3: And I can't remember what plane, but my galley's in
- 25:00Speaker 3: the rear and I was like, yeah, man, like I'm burning,
- 25:03Speaker 3: so we end up they have a switch the way
- 25:04Speaker 3: they can let some of the air out. But yeah,
- 25:06Speaker 3: that was that was not.
- 25:07Speaker 2: And were you near the point of no return? Is
- 25:09Speaker 2: that why you brought that up?
- 25:10Speaker 3: No, I actually did it pretty early. But it's fine.
- 25:12Speaker 3: There wasn't a fire. I was just burning biscuits. I
- 25:15Speaker 3: just burning biscuits. There was no fire. It just dunked
- 25:18Speaker 3: to high heavens. So I did that. And then one
- 25:21Speaker 3: other thing when I was a flight isn't. When I
- 25:24Speaker 3: first started my job, I had no clue what I
- 25:26Speaker 3: was doing. And fifteen years ago they used to just
- 25:27Speaker 3: kind of throw us to the wolves, like and they
- 25:29Speaker 3: just get on a plane and do whatever. And I,
- 25:32Speaker 3: thankfully was pretty good at my job. I had a
- 25:34Speaker 3: long history and service industry. I had worked on every
- 25:37Speaker 3: level of a restaurant in my life, Like I've managed,
- 25:40Speaker 3: I've hosted, I've rolled silverware, I've done it all. Yeah,
- 25:44Speaker 3: I get this job and it's you know, this young
- 25:45Speaker 3: woman who's been on this account for a really long time.
- 25:47Speaker 3: She's like, it'd be easy, peasy, You're just gonna fly
- 25:49Speaker 3: to San Francisco. By the way, I baked cookies before landing,
- 25:52Speaker 3: and I was like, Okay, I'm gonna bake some cookies,
- 25:54Speaker 3: just like, can you just order the dough. She's like, yeah,
- 25:56Speaker 3: I'll just get them. You just pop them on a
- 25:58Speaker 3: pan and stick them in the oven. And if you
- 26:00Speaker 3: know this about me, I am a cook. I am
- 26:02Speaker 3: not a baker. Yes I'm not. Yeah right, cool, cool, cool.
- 26:05Speaker 3: I get on this plane right before landing. I can
- 26:07Speaker 3: see the ground, like, you know, I only have a
- 26:09Speaker 3: few minutes. So I get the oven on and she's
- 26:11Speaker 3: I remember reciting in my brain, don't mess this up,
- 26:13Speaker 3: you know, pop the dough on a pan, set a
- 26:17Speaker 3: timer in the oven. Bam. Right, the cookies are finally done.
- 26:21Speaker 3: We're probably like three thousand feet. I can see the ground.
- 26:23Speaker 3: I'm like, oh my god, serve the cookies. Serve the cookies.
- 26:25Speaker 3: I pull them out and they look like these little
- 26:27Speaker 3: bon bonds.
- 26:29Speaker 2: They little rounds, ye yeah, or not, circles, sears, fears. Yeah.
- 26:34Speaker 3: No one told me I had to flatten out the cookies.
- 26:36Speaker 3: So if he baked, is this like little ball and
- 26:39Speaker 3: everything bakes differently in the air. You've got you know,
- 26:42Speaker 3: the elevation, you've got the oven works, you know, faster harder,
- 26:45Speaker 3: heet hotter, you know. And so I get this little
- 26:47Speaker 3: cookie and at this point, I don't have time to
- 26:49Speaker 3: stop start over. We do not have time to.
- 26:50Speaker 2: Baby smelling like cookies, so they're probably like, give me
- 26:53Speaker 2: a cookie.
- 26:54Speaker 3: She bakes the parson cookies every time before landing. So
- 26:56Speaker 3: I take this little bon bon out and I'm like,
- 26:57Speaker 3: how am I going to do this? I stick it
- 26:58Speaker 3: in a little bowl and I stick a little mint
- 27:01Speaker 3: leaf on it. It looks cute, and I'm making my rounds
- 27:04Speaker 3: and I stick this little bowl in front of the
- 27:07Speaker 3: passenger one too like enjoying. He's like, oh my god,
- 27:13Speaker 3: this is so cute. And I was like, I thank you,
- 27:16Speaker 3: oh so much. So cute, and he was like, wow,
- 27:20Speaker 3: little bite sized cookies. I would have never thought of this.
- 27:22Speaker 3: It's just a one biter. And he eats this cookie
- 27:25Speaker 3: and he was like, you're gonna have to tell her
- 27:26Speaker 3: how to do this. Oh whoa, We still have to
- 27:29Speaker 3: go home, Trista, I've got to make the same mistake twice, right, crap.
- 27:33Speaker 3: And I'll never forget that. Because he's like, oh my god,
- 27:35Speaker 3: this cookie, this is a little cute and I was like,
- 27:38Speaker 3: oh my god, I did it. By accident. But part
- 27:40Speaker 3: of my job is just knowing when not to say anything. Yep,
- 27:44Speaker 3: totally knowing when to smile yeah, and then hope the
- 27:46Speaker 3: same mistake happens again, right, and it did it? I
- 27:49Speaker 3: don't remember because I remember being so mortified by that,
- 27:51Speaker 3: because it was like my second or third flight, and
- 27:53Speaker 3: I was like, oh my god, this little bon bond.
- 27:55Speaker 2: It looked like if you've ever seen that, it looked
- 27:57Speaker 2: like a bond bon you need, like a bite sized
- 27:59Speaker 2: cookie bonbond.
- 28:00Speaker 3: I'll never ever forget it. You're like, no, I'm not
- 28:02Speaker 3: doing I can't remember if I made the same mistake.
- 28:04Speaker 3: But every time I bake cookies on an airplane now
- 28:06Speaker 3: I think of that. Oh that, don't mess cookies up,
- 28:08Speaker 3: don't make those cute, don't do it.
- 28:10Speaker 2: Okay, So, because you spend so much time traveling, what
- 28:15Speaker 2: is your best packing pack?
- 28:18Speaker 3: I actually hardly ever unpack really.
- 28:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:21Speaker 3: So because I travel so much, I have just like
- 28:24Speaker 3: a second set of everything. So like my work bag
- 28:27Speaker 3: I'm carrying around, yep, I have three sets of chargers.
- 28:31Speaker 3: I have all different, like I just keep extra sets
- 28:33Speaker 3: in my bag. Sometimes in my line of work, I
- 28:37Speaker 3: can get a two hour heads up, and I need
- 28:38Speaker 3: to be at the airport, so I always need to
- 28:40Speaker 3: have pressed clothes, got it ready to go, got it,
- 28:43Speaker 3: and then a bag ready to go. Yep. I've made
- 28:46Speaker 3: the mistake one time in my career not having a
- 28:47Speaker 3: change of clothes and shopping at Target at eleven o'clock
- 28:50Speaker 3: at night for underwear. It's just not fun. So that's stressful.
- 28:54Speaker 3: I pretty much at all times have a bag packed,
- 28:56Speaker 3: like I have a you know, change of underwear bras.
- 28:59Speaker 3: But in my toilet tree bag, I have an extra toothbrush,
- 29:01Speaker 3: I have an extra razor, I have shampoo, I have
- 29:02Speaker 3: everything ready to go, a second thing of face cream.
- 29:05Speaker 3: I just like have all of my things already the way.
- 29:08Speaker 3: It's just easy to zip up. I put it in
- 29:09Speaker 3: my bag. I don't fold my clothes when I put
- 29:11Speaker 3: them on my luggage. I roll them Sam, Sam, Yeah right.
- 29:15Speaker 3: It helps on the wrinkles, yes, and it helps fit
- 29:17Speaker 3: more stuff yes yeah. Yeah, and I'll do I'll do
- 29:20Speaker 3: like my shirt and pants together, Yep. I take a
- 29:23Speaker 3: couple of pair of jeans because I can wear the
- 29:24Speaker 3: same two pair of jeans for eighteen days. Of course,
- 29:26Speaker 3: I just do it. Yeah, and I'll roll my things
- 29:29Speaker 3: up and I tuck them together and then I stack yep,
- 29:31Speaker 3: and I'm also just to just set you over the
- 29:34Speaker 3: edge with my neuroses. I do it in like rows.
- 29:37Speaker 3: So like here's my workout clothes, They're stacked to the
- 29:39Speaker 3: back of the suitcase, like against against the back of
- 29:42Speaker 3: the bag because I can stack them two or threefold.
- 29:45Speaker 3: And then my underwear is always in the same thing.
- 29:47Speaker 3: My toiletrees are always in the same place. And then
- 29:49Speaker 3: for some reason, always on the right side of my
- 29:51Speaker 3: bag goes my toiletry bag, my makeup.
- 29:54Speaker 2: That's why you knew today. So so i's so for
- 29:58Speaker 2: everyone listening to your.
- 30:00Speaker 3: Room and you're unpacked, I'm like, you're insane. How do
- 30:03Speaker 3: you do this?
- 30:04Speaker 2: So whenever I get somewhere, I have a carry on,
- 30:07Speaker 2: like here we can. I came here with a carry on,
- 30:09Speaker 2: and I unpack everything once I get.
- 30:13Speaker 3: Somewhere, because I have to crazy.
- 30:16Speaker 2: I need to have it organized. I need to have
- 30:18Speaker 2: it like here's my workout clothes, here's my underwear, here's
- 30:21Speaker 2: my swimsuits, here's whatever.
- 30:23Speaker 3: I have to have it all put away.
- 30:25Speaker 2: She came in my room and braided my hair yesterday
- 30:27Speaker 2: for the pickleball tournament.
- 30:29Speaker 3: And she was like real college besties.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Yes, and and she was like, wait you take out everything? Well, well,
- 30:38Speaker 2: that night or maybe was it that night you called
- 30:42Speaker 2: me because we were at different houses and you were like, hey,
- 30:45Speaker 2: can you bring me? Was this last night you ringin
- 30:49Speaker 2: things out of my suitcase? And how spot on was
- 30:51Speaker 2: I in the page from my suitcase? And I was like, okay, sure,
- 30:54Speaker 2: I'll go in. And I went into her room and
- 30:57Speaker 2: she was like, okay, so go in my bag and
- 31:00Speaker 2: in the top part you're gonna find my blah blah blah.
- 31:02Speaker 3: And I was like, okay, how does she know? Like
- 31:05Speaker 3: the inside flap, not the top pocket, but the bottom pocket,
- 31:07Speaker 3: not where my makeup wipes are. But on the bottom
- 31:08Speaker 3: pocket you'll find my sockscrab those on the suitcases. On
- 31:12Speaker 3: the very bottom you'll find a black pair of leggings.
- 31:14Speaker 3: Are like on point, without looking at my bag, I
- 31:17Speaker 3: know where everything is, yes, And I can carry on
- 31:19Speaker 3: and roll through an airport. It amazes me to this
- 31:23Speaker 3: day when I have to commercial when I get through
- 31:25Speaker 3: the TSA checkpoint, people who don't know what to do
- 31:29Speaker 3: blows my mind.
- 31:30Speaker 2: But think they're they're travel as much as you you know.
- 31:35Speaker 3: Clear clearly not clearly not. Every time I get on
- 31:40Speaker 3: a plane and I sit in the emergency roo, I'm like,
- 31:42Speaker 3: you're okay, I'm a flight attendant. I'll save your life.
- 31:44Speaker 3: Follow me, leg body leg come this way. Listen to
- 31:48Speaker 3: the sound of my voice. What's body legs mean? When
- 31:53Speaker 3: you get out? Our windows are smaller? Okay, when we
- 31:56Speaker 3: get out of coach exits, Well, you don't want to
- 32:00Speaker 3: come out like butt first? How are you gonna get out?
- 32:03Speaker 3: What do you mean like people?
- 32:04Speaker 2: What you think that people would actually go like that and.
- 32:07Speaker 3: Try to get out? Do you know what the number
- 32:08Speaker 3: one thing is in an emergency situation? What people forget
- 32:11Speaker 3: to do? Do you know why the flight attendant stands
- 32:13Speaker 3: in front of you and shows you how to unbuckle
- 32:15Speaker 3: and buckle your seat belt? What in a panic situation?
- 32:18Speaker 3: In an emergency situation, they did a study the amount
- 32:21Speaker 3: of people who forget because when you get in a car,
- 32:24Speaker 3: how do you buckle your seat belt? Clicks in, yeah, yeah,
- 32:27Speaker 3: clicks in right, right right, push a button and it
- 32:29Speaker 3: pops out. They think that on an airplane it is
- 32:32Speaker 3: a latch. You have to lift up and remove the lever.
- 32:36Speaker 3: True it is different and in a panic situation, in
- 32:39Speaker 3: emergency situations, they don't know how to They have found
- 32:42Speaker 3: there was a study down on some airplane crash and
- 32:44Speaker 3: I can't remember what it was. The people who didn't
- 32:46Speaker 3: get out of the airplane. They found that they had
- 32:47Speaker 3: broken thumbs from where they tried over and over again
- 32:51Speaker 3: to press the button to release the seat belt. No way,
- 32:54Speaker 3: because until you're in a situation like that, you have
- 32:57Speaker 3: you have what like two types of people, fight or flight. Yep,
- 33:00Speaker 3: you know what I mean. Yeah, people who panic and
- 33:01Speaker 3: people who don't. I'm a leader, follow me, yeah yeah, yeah,
- 33:04Speaker 3: I'm getting out. You can come my way, yes, right, yes.
- 33:07Speaker 3: And then there are people who just you freeze, you
- 33:09Speaker 3: don't know what to do.
- 33:10Speaker 2: Oh.
- 33:10Speaker 3: They found in that crash, in particular, that these people
- 33:14Speaker 3: had blistered broken thumbs because they were pushing trying to
- 33:20Speaker 3: get their seat belt unlatched. They could not remember to
- 33:23Speaker 3: lift the lever to release the seat belt. That's why
- 33:25Speaker 3: the flight attendant always does it, says it. And I
- 33:27Speaker 3: always watch a flight attendant when she does the emergency procedures.
- 33:30Speaker 3: I do always because even a panic situation, even though
- 33:34Speaker 3: I think if I were ever God forbid, right, I
- 33:38Speaker 3: think I would know what to do. But I watch
- 33:41Speaker 3: because studies have shown people who don't pay attention they
- 33:44Speaker 3: don't remember in a situation. And when you need to
- 33:46Speaker 3: get out there's a fire, there's a water landing, there's
- 33:49Speaker 3: something like that, you have seconds to survive. That's freaking scary.
- 33:54Speaker 3: I'm also a role follower, so oh yeah, and you
- 33:56Speaker 3: say listen, I'm gonna listen.
- 34:00Speaker 2: Okay. Is it true you shouldn't drink coffee or tea
- 34:02Speaker 2: on a flight because the water tanks on airplanes aren't
- 34:05Speaker 2: cleaned often? Oh look at that face. I do not
- 34:10Speaker 2: order coffee on an airplane. Do you know where else
- 34:12Speaker 2: you shouldn't drink coffee?
- 34:14Speaker 1: Where?
- 34:14Speaker 3: In your hotel room? Oh? Well yeah, oh I remember.
- 34:18Speaker 3: Light attendants have washed their pantyhose in those.
- 34:23Speaker 2: I do not ever drink slight attendants wash their pantyhose.
- 34:28Speaker 2: Coffee makers in a hotel wash disgusting.
- 34:32Speaker 3: Also, just here's the thing. I can't go down this
- 34:35Speaker 3: rabbit hole trusted because I travel too much for a living.
- 34:39Speaker 3: But think about a hotel room. Okay, would you want
- 34:42Speaker 3: to clean a hotel room?
- 34:43Speaker 2: Hell? No?
- 34:44Speaker 3: Do you know what I do? What I always leave
- 34:46Speaker 3: money for the maid. I can't imagine a worse job,
- 34:50Speaker 3: yeah than to clean someone's hotel room. Yeah, I can't
- 34:54Speaker 3: imagine having to do that. So I carry money in
- 34:56Speaker 3: my wallet and I always leave it for the hotel staff. Yes,
- 35:00Speaker 3: that's a great hat. Do not drink her coffee in
- 35:01Speaker 3: your hotel room bit of advice.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:03Speaker 3: And do not drink the coffee on an airplane. Okay.
- 35:05Speaker 3: So do you see flight attendants coming on the airplane
- 35:08Speaker 3: with their Starbucks? Yes, get a coffee on the plane.
- 35:13Speaker 2: So I remember when we did Special Forces. Ali Ali
- 35:18Speaker 2: Mano was on Special Forces on my season, and she
- 35:22Speaker 2: posted a story of the hotel room that we were
- 35:25Speaker 2: staying in in Wales. She looked on the inside and
- 35:29Speaker 2: it was I know.
- 35:31Speaker 3: Don't don't ever look. Don't ever, don't ever look. I'm
- 35:35Speaker 3: telling you, I travel too much for a living. I
- 35:37Speaker 3: do not watch those shows, those documentaries where they turn
- 35:40Speaker 3: the lights off into a black light to see what's
- 35:41Speaker 3: in the room. Don't do it. No, I can't because
- 35:44Speaker 3: I have just enough crazy in me and I'll never
- 35:46Speaker 3: sleep same Sam. And I've lucky in my life. Yeah,
- 35:50Speaker 3: like I am. I'm like the highest ranking person you
- 35:53Speaker 3: could possibly be like, I have so many points I
- 35:56Speaker 3: don't know how to spin them. I cannot look at
- 35:58Speaker 3: those things because yeah, once you start thinking about it, totally.
- 36:02Speaker 3: I wear my shoes in hotel rooms you just so
- 36:04Speaker 3: you know, don't wear my shoes in my house. Wow,
- 36:08Speaker 3: what do you think? They have dark color printed carpet
- 36:10Speaker 3: hotel names right right. Don't drink the coffee.
- 36:14Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, So I don't drink coffee, so I
- 36:16Speaker 2: don't have that problem.
- 36:17Speaker 3: But fixed don't drink the tea either. I don't.
- 36:19Speaker 2: They get the hot water on the plane too, Yeah
- 36:22Speaker 2: no no, I just get it from a can, like
- 36:24Speaker 2: you know, give me this brite with ice.
- 36:27Speaker 3: Say can you drink or the ice? Ice comes? The
- 36:31Speaker 3: ice gets brought to the airplane. They don't. Okay, so
- 36:33Speaker 3: ice is fine.
- 36:33Speaker 2: You'll say, great, we're safe with ice, We're safe with
- 36:36Speaker 2: can you're actually open. Oh and don't take your freaking
- 36:39Speaker 2: shoes off.
- 36:40Speaker 3: On the airplane, please.
- 36:41Speaker 1: People.
- 36:42Speaker 3: There was a study a long time ago. I'm just
- 36:44Speaker 3: really this is people are never going to fly again.
- 36:47Speaker 3: There was a study. There was a study done in
- 36:51Speaker 3: a laboratory, and I can't remember if they announced what
- 36:53Speaker 3: airline I was in a oh, in an air laboratory. Okay,
- 36:57Speaker 3: those are bathrooms on an airplane. And there was a
- 37:01Speaker 3: study done after like a six or an eight hour flight.
- 37:04Speaker 3: What was found on the lavatory floor? Nope? There were Nope,
- 37:09Speaker 3: you don't see this, but the producers are shaking their hands.
- 37:12Speaker 3: Don't tell them out loud. No, there were. There were
- 37:15Speaker 3: strains of hepatitis on the floor. Do you know I
- 37:20Speaker 3: will stop someone before they walk into a laboratory with
- 37:24Speaker 3: no shoes on. And I'm not being paid to do this,
- 37:27Speaker 3: Please save yourself. Do not do that. So put your
- 37:29Speaker 3: shoes on.
- 37:30Speaker 2: Shoes stay on on a plane, but your shoes stay on.
- 37:36Speaker 3: Do not go to the lab What is living on
- 37:38Speaker 3: that floor? As holy gross, don't do I could do this.
- 37:41Speaker 3: I could go on this tangent for a really long time.
- 37:55Speaker 2: Okay, So since we're talking about not taking your shoes
- 37:58Speaker 2: off and feet, we have had an illuminating conversation before
- 38:01Speaker 2: we started this pod with We were talking about you
- 38:06Speaker 2: know what your next step in life is going to be,
- 38:09Speaker 2: career wise, what are you going to transl at those
- 38:11Speaker 2: Wait a second, well, we're going to transition into and
- 38:15Speaker 2: I don't know how it came up when we were
- 38:16Speaker 2: talking about fee and we were talking to go about
- 38:21Speaker 2: only fans and start a foot.
- 38:23Speaker 3: My new career path, Yes, my new career path could
- 38:26Speaker 3: be showing my feet for a living. I'm not sure
- 38:29Speaker 3: being a dancer is in my future, but showing my
- 38:32Speaker 3: feet could be. Yes.
- 38:34Speaker 2: So we learned that there is a thing called weeki
- 38:39Speaker 2: Wikiki feet wiki feet, and it has you are ranked
- 38:43Speaker 2: in order of like good feet, bad feet. Okay, so
- 38:47Speaker 2: Easton Easton is producer.
- 38:49Speaker 3: I also thought we might be scott free, like we're
- 38:52Speaker 3: just old enough to where like this possibly can't be
- 38:54Speaker 3: a thing it is a thing, but apparently it is.
- 38:56Speaker 3: It's a thing.
- 38:57Speaker 2: It's a thing, people, It's a thing. Easton has our
- 39:00Speaker 2: Easton has our rating. He looked up our rating before
- 39:04Speaker 2: we started. And so we are on the edges of
- 39:07Speaker 2: our seat.
- 39:08Speaker 3: No, I want you to be mindful that I do
- 39:10Speaker 3: not have my feet in view. I want you to
- 39:12Speaker 3: be mindful that I am not putting my feet into
- 39:14Speaker 3: view because I've got some talons on it.
- 39:17Speaker 2: You do not. Your feet are My feet are super
- 39:20Speaker 2: swollen and look like sausages right now.
- 39:22Speaker 3: So okay, so hit it hit us with us better
- 39:25Speaker 3: than what I'm anticipating.
- 39:26Speaker 2: Oh gosh.
- 39:27Speaker 4: Okay, so to set the expectations, Yes, this is a
- 39:30Speaker 4: score out of five.
- 39:32Speaker 2: Okay and wait, so wait, and I also want to
- 39:35Speaker 2: say what we learned is that they will take like
- 39:37Speaker 2: paparazzi photos and they'll zoom in on your feet in
- 39:41Speaker 2: order to get the rankings correct.
- 39:43Speaker 1: Yes, so okay, yeah, yeah, we're on Trista's page right now.
- 39:48Speaker 4: There's a lot of like, there's a there's a red
- 39:51Speaker 4: carpet for marriage book. There's one of t recovering from
- 40:00Speaker 4: an injury. It looks like an ankle injury.
- 40:02Speaker 3: Yes, I broke my ankle. Oh, oh my god.
- 40:06Speaker 1: It's gonna make you really think about what you guys
- 40:08Speaker 1: post on social media.
- 40:10Speaker 3: Yes it is.
- 40:13Speaker 1: Okay, we shall we reveal the screen.
- 40:15Speaker 3: We shall reveal the scores.
- 40:17Speaker 1: Okay, Oh hold my breath.
- 40:19Speaker 3: I'm serious, Scarce.
- 40:21Speaker 1: We're gonna start with Deanna.
- 40:22Speaker 3: Oh god, remember I need to be attractive. Okay out of.
- 40:25Speaker 1: Five four point six nine, Holy crap.
- 40:29Speaker 3: You've got great feet. See I told you I've heard
- 40:33Speaker 3: my new calling. I was waiting for like an audible,
- 40:35Speaker 3: like this is where your path is going, and I
- 40:37Speaker 3: believe it just came to me. I think God gave you.
- 40:40Speaker 3: I'm sorry, tell me that to get a four point six.
- 40:43Speaker 1: Five?
- 40:44Speaker 3: Wow, that's you have beautiful feet you're talking about anymore?
- 40:49Speaker 3: Look at these suckers at I don't know. There's some
- 40:52Speaker 3: close ups of my feet, a lot of them.
- 40:54Speaker 1: Are you showing off your manicure and your feet are
- 40:56Speaker 1: in the background. That's what it looks like, is the.
- 41:02Speaker 2: I am really, I am very scared. I am very scared.
- 41:06Speaker 2: I'm very scared.
- 41:07Speaker 3: Point six that's pretty good.
- 41:11Speaker 2: Four point seven out of five that's pretty stick.
- 41:15Speaker 3: That's solid. That's I mean.
- 41:18Speaker 4: And now, actually, before we move on to Trista, I
- 41:20Speaker 4: do you want to check this? They have your shoe
- 41:21Speaker 4: size on here, and I want to see.
- 41:22Speaker 1: If it's accurate.
- 41:23Speaker 3: Okay, that's so true.
- 41:25Speaker 1: Say seven? Is that right?
- 41:27Speaker 3: It's inaccurate?
- 41:28Speaker 2: Wow.
- 41:29Speaker 3: You know my friend Ben, he's trying to find me
- 41:31Speaker 3: a date. He asked me my shoe size today and
- 41:33Speaker 3: I politely just did not answer his question. I have
- 41:37Speaker 3: a big ass foot for my body. Put our feet
- 41:41Speaker 3: next to each other. No, it's embarrassing. Come on. The
- 41:48Speaker 3: producer she just went, she just gasped. Did you hear her?
- 41:59Speaker 3: I want you to know that my sister and her
- 42:02Speaker 3: husband are going to find this because they have made
- 42:04Speaker 3: fun of my feet my entire life, and they probably
- 42:07Speaker 3: feel so satisfied right now in this moment. Oh my god, Trista,
- 42:13Speaker 3: my toes are longer than your whole foot. Oh, I
- 42:17Speaker 3: can't believe I'm allowing you to do this. This is just.
- 42:25Speaker 2: Yes. I have had this, this toe ring since I
- 42:30Speaker 2: was in I was in college and my dad took
- 42:37Speaker 2: me and my stepsister and stepmom to Key West and
- 42:40Speaker 2: we got that and I have had it ever since.
- 42:43Speaker 2: Even when I get like MRIs or whatever, they ask
- 42:46Speaker 2: if you have any like jewelry or whatever that can't
- 42:48Speaker 2: be removed, and I'm like, yes that.
- 42:51Speaker 3: So don't know.
- 42:52Speaker 2: Yeah, I leave it on, it never comes off. And
- 42:54Speaker 2: then Deanna has a tattoo's.
- 42:57Speaker 3: I got it with my sister. Yeah. You know, people
- 43:00Speaker 3: think that I'm all straight waist and I'm not. Look
- 43:02Speaker 3: at me. I'm so wild. I have a tattoo. Tattoo,
- 43:06Speaker 3: I have three three? Where's the third? A wild? Oh?
- 43:10Speaker 3: I'm so wild? You know Ben didn't ask me if
- 43:14Speaker 3: there were things about me that he didn't know. Just
- 43:19Speaker 3: look at me? Now, where's the third it's for me.
- 43:22Speaker 3: I have it for me, but I have it here
- 43:25Speaker 3: worthy that's awesome. There was a period of time where
- 43:28Speaker 3: I forgot that and I don't ever want to forget
- 43:29Speaker 3: it again. When I was eighteen, the cool thing to
- 43:32Speaker 3: do is to get a tattoo because you're allowed. And
- 43:34Speaker 3: my sister and I had a thing you're allowed or
- 43:37Speaker 3: you're an adult. You're an adult, and they will legally
- 43:39Speaker 3: give it to you.
- 43:40Speaker 2: Because I'm literally like, you're not allowed in my house
- 43:43Speaker 2: because my son just turned eighteen.
- 43:44Speaker 3: My dad didn't know for a very long time. Yeah,
- 43:47Speaker 3: my sister and I had a thing for butterflies, and
- 43:49Speaker 3: she's my very best friend in the entire world, and
- 43:52Speaker 3: we went together once she turned eighteen.
- 43:54Speaker 2: Yep.
- 43:54Speaker 3: And I have it on my right foot. She has
- 43:57Speaker 3: the exact same butterfly image on her left foot, so
- 44:01Speaker 3: when we stand together, we both have it and I
- 44:04Speaker 3: still love it to this day. I love it.
- 44:05Speaker 2: I have that.
- 44:06Speaker 3: I have this one on my ribs and then I
- 44:07Speaker 3: have just on my wrist. I have my kids birth
- 44:10Speaker 3: dates because I travel so much, and also when I
- 44:13Speaker 3: got divorced and had to, you know, split the kids
- 44:15Speaker 3: into two different homes, and I miss them. This I
- 44:17Speaker 3: just I love it. I touch it, I see it,
- 44:20Speaker 3: and it makes me think of my children to love it.
- 44:21Speaker 3: But back to my feet, since this is my bright
- 44:25Speaker 3: and shining moment, I will have you know that when
- 44:28Speaker 3: I get my pedicure, they do compliment how big my
- 44:31Speaker 3: nail beds are. Yes, for real, they have a very
- 44:36Speaker 3: nice palette. Trista to paint my nails not so much
- 44:40Speaker 3: and for those same thing as my nail You didn't
- 44:42Speaker 3: know that my my toes are a solid four inches
- 44:46Speaker 3: longer than Trista's foot.
- 44:49Speaker 2: They are not inches. You don't know your inches. She's
- 44:52Speaker 2: not a mathematician people.
- 44:54Speaker 3: I wear a nine. I wear a nine, I'm not
- 44:56Speaker 3: a seven. That's very it's very flattering because I am
- 44:59Speaker 3: a short human and being I am five foot four,
- 45:01Speaker 3: you would not expect me to have this massively gargantuan foot. Unfortunately,
- 45:06Speaker 3: my toes take up at least three inches of my foot.
- 45:11Speaker 3: People should pay for this, I really, I know, selling
- 45:14Speaker 3: myself for real.
- 45:15Speaker 2: I'm like we might be joining all the only fans. People.
- 45:18Speaker 2: You might have to look only fans for feet.
- 45:20Speaker 3: That would pay me a good dollar for me to
- 45:22Speaker 3: describe these nines in my running shoe on the and
- 45:26Speaker 3: a half.
- 45:26Speaker 1: For sure, Trista, are you a six and a half?
- 45:29Speaker 3: I'm a six?
- 45:30Speaker 1: Okay, looks like we have to update some some wiki
- 45:32Speaker 1: feed data. Your score.
- 45:34Speaker 2: I'm very nervous to hear my score, but yes, please tell.
- 45:37Speaker 1: Me point seven seven.
- 45:42Speaker 3: So I'm so happy. This is so exciting, this is
- 45:47Speaker 3: so exciting.
- 45:47Speaker 1: These are both like the very top.
- 45:49Speaker 2: Wow, but like, what are like? What's the average? Do
- 45:54Speaker 2: we know what the average wiki feet score is?
- 45:57Speaker 4: Like?
- 45:58Speaker 3: Do they give like two or do you.
- 46:01Speaker 2: Know what I mean?
- 46:01Speaker 4: I will look into this. I do not know that
- 46:03Speaker 4: much about Wiki fee is about their son. Everyone listening
- 46:06Speaker 4: is my first time on this website.
- 46:09Speaker 3: I will tell you I made a conscious effort over
- 46:11Speaker 3: time when I saw other celebrities. I am not one,
- 46:16Speaker 3: but when I saw their pictures on the red carpet
- 46:18Speaker 3: and their shoes were too small, oh and the toes
- 46:21Speaker 3: go over. I talked about this on a different podcast.
- 46:24Speaker 3: There are certain things that are a hard pass for
- 46:27Speaker 3: saying that I can't sit past sam with men. It's
- 46:30Speaker 3: dark jeans and case Swiss tennis shoes. I can't get
- 46:32Speaker 3: past it. And then what about birkenstocks and socks? I
- 46:37Speaker 3: love it. I'll do it up down. My husband does that.
- 46:39Speaker 3: I saw pictures of women on a red carpet one
- 46:43Speaker 3: time where the shoes were too small and their toes
- 46:46Speaker 3: creep over the edge and they were like climbed, and
- 46:50Speaker 3: I just thought, if I have to wear heels that
- 46:52Speaker 3: are three sizes too big, please Lord, don't ever let
- 46:56Speaker 3: my toes crawl over me. And I would be open
- 47:00Speaker 3: to if someone finds a photo with my toes hanging
- 47:03Speaker 3: off the ledge of my shoe, please, by all means,
- 47:05Speaker 3: send it to tell me.
- 47:06Speaker 2: You tell me that's a beautiful pot to me.
- 47:09Speaker 1: I just found someone else on Wiki beat.
- 47:10Speaker 3: Okay, Ryan, Oh god, what's his score?
- 47:14Speaker 1: Oh yeah, four point three six?
- 47:16Speaker 3: Yeah, we've got a beat.
- 47:17Speaker 1: Is he a size thirteen?
- 47:19Speaker 3: He's size eleven?
- 47:20Speaker 2: Right? Wow?
- 47:21Speaker 3: I mean Ryan has many wonderful redeeming qualities, but we
- 47:25Speaker 3: can let him not have the foot score like that's okay.
- 47:28Speaker 2: We always tease and you guys, I'm taking this back
- 47:30Speaker 2: as ammunition to say, Babe, I have a four point
- 47:33Speaker 2: seven to seven.
- 47:34Speaker 3: You've got My Wiki feet score is better than yours. Also,
