- 0:00Speaker 1: Now back to the Mark Simone Show on wo R. Hey,
- 0:05Speaker 1: let's take some calls. Let's go to Let's go to
- 0:08Speaker 1: Jesse and the Bronx. Jesse, how you.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Doing, Good morning, Mark, Thanks for taking my call. I
- 0:13Speaker 2: wanted to talk to you about what my ballot looked like.
- 0:16Speaker 2: And I thought it was very strange in that you
- 0:19Speaker 2: didn't really see Andrew Cuomo's name. It didn't come up
- 0:22Speaker 2: as independent. It came up as like some fighting whatever party.
- 0:26Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 0:27Speaker 2: It's a party I've never heard of before.
- 0:29Speaker 1: Yeah, well he's not a major party candidate. He's on
- 0:31Speaker 1: some weird third party. The thing is on the ballot
- 0:34Speaker 1: at the top is Mom Donnie and Curtis. Those are
- 0:37Speaker 1: the two major party candidates.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Right.
- 0:38Speaker 1: You got to go eight spaces down to get to Cuomo.
- 0:42Speaker 2: That's exactly how it looked. I'm like, where the heck
- 0:45Speaker 2: is it? And I'm like, this is rigged for Mamdannie
- 0:47Speaker 2: to win. And I am not a Mom Donni guy
- 0:49Speaker 2: at all. Well, I'm a Sple guy, but I want
- 0:52Speaker 2: to save the city. I'm sorry to admit it.
- 0:55Speaker 1: It's not that it's rigged. Cuomo lost the Democratic nomination. No, No,
- 0:59Speaker 1: I ballot is laid out by the major parties, and
- 1:02Speaker 1: if you're on a weird third party, you're going to
- 1:04Speaker 1: be down further.
- 1:05Speaker 2: I get, I get what you're saying. What I'm telling
- 1:07Speaker 2: you is that like you could have made his name
- 1:09Speaker 2: more visible on the top of the line, instead of
- 1:12Speaker 2: hiding his name somewhere else, Well.
- 1:14Speaker 1: You really can't. Then then you'd be rigging it, because
- 1:16Speaker 1: this is always the layout of every ballot in every election.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Major parties wins this thing.
- 1:21Speaker 2: We're done, We're cooked.
- 1:23Speaker 1: And you know I all right, we're changing. We're changing
- 1:25Speaker 1: the subject from what we just well change the subject. No, no,
- 1:27Speaker 1: I mean, I'm just saying you can't. You can't. You
- 1:30Speaker 1: got to use the same format for the ballot you
- 1:32Speaker 1: always use. You can't. Major get it. It goes by
- 1:35Speaker 1: the major parties at the top, the minor parties at
- 1:37Speaker 1: the bottom. It's always that way.
- 1:39Speaker 3: And of course I.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Voted Republicans down ballot. I mean, last time I checked, Mark,
- 1:43Speaker 2: you and I were the Republicans.
- 1:45Speaker 1: But you know what I'm saying, I'm not a Republican
- 1:47Speaker 1: or a Democrat. I like to pick on both sides.
- 1:49Speaker 2: But what I do, but that's what I'm trying to
- 1:52Speaker 2: tell you you and I know how to vote on
- 1:54Speaker 2: both sides of the aisle. Where Democrats don't know how
- 1:56Speaker 2: to vote on.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Democrats can figure out how to vote.
- 2:00Speaker 3: You get a little Okay.
- 2:01Speaker 4: We'll see what happens tonight.
- 2:03Speaker 2: I mean I want a.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Lot of these Democrats. They're crazy, they're Trump haters, they're yelling, screaming,
- 2:07Speaker 1: but they they're lawyers, professors there. I think they could
- 2:10Speaker 1: figure out how to read a ballot. Let's go to
- 2:12Speaker 1: Rob in Lincoln Park. Rob. How you doing?
- 2:16Speaker 4: Mark Simone?
- 2:17Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 2:19Speaker 4: Are you doing good? I watch all the time.
- 2:23Speaker 1: You got a TV dow Wow?
- 2:26Speaker 4: Yeah. Hey. My My question is, uh, I got the
- 2:30Speaker 4: paper this morning, and uh, i'd say where.
- 2:34Speaker 1: You still get an actual newspaper?
- 2:37Speaker 4: Yeah? Read it and I put it back. We don't
- 2:41Speaker 4: actually buy it.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Oh steal the neighbor's paper, read it and put it back. Okay.
- 2:48Speaker 4: They say over three hundred thousand more Democrats submitted mailing
- 2:56Speaker 4: ballots voted earlier ready.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Well actually, uh so far seven hundred and thirty five
- 3:01Speaker 1: thousand people voted early, almost getting close to a million.
- 3:06Speaker 1: You'll have well over a million voting today, so the
- 3:09Speaker 1: total should hit about two million, which is another reason
- 3:12Speaker 1: you can't trust any of these polls. The model they
- 3:14Speaker 1: used isn't what's happening today. Let's go to Mike and Florida. Mike,
- 3:18Speaker 1: how you doing, Good.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Morning, Mark, Yes, Mike, scaping up to be a banner
- 3:23Speaker 3: day for the left wing Democrat left wing.
- 3:26Speaker 1: No, we don't know yet.
- 3:27Speaker 3: Nobody knows, no, but the early tell is that, you know,
- 3:32Speaker 3: between Cheney dying, their greatest villain since oh no.
- 3:35Speaker 1: No, no, they like Cheney now the last few years
- 3:37Speaker 1: they've loved Chaney.
- 3:39Speaker 3: And and you know all the you know, the winds
- 3:42Speaker 3: in Virginia, New Jersey, New York. Either way they win
- 3:44Speaker 3: in New York where its Pomo or my nan and
- 3:47Speaker 3: we all know that. But you know, and they're gonna
- 3:49Speaker 3: use it. This was a referendum, and they're gonna say
- 3:51Speaker 3: that this is a referendum against Trump. The nation is spoken,
- 3:54Speaker 3: they're not. They're tired of that. And the Republicans seem
- 3:58Speaker 3: like they can't be bothered. They just can't be bothered.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Well, it's not that simple, but thanks for calling, Mike. Yeah,
- 4:03Speaker 1: it could be, like we said earlier, if Mom Donnie
- 4:06Speaker 1: were to win, the Democrats will just go crazy all
- 4:09Speaker 1: over the country with socialists and all that. But as
- 4:11Speaker 1: the old Karl Rove said.
- 4:13Speaker 5: They've been perpetually angry since December of since November of
- 4:17Speaker 5: last year, and they are angry at Trump, but they
- 4:20Speaker 5: really ought to be as angry about themselves because they
- 4:23Speaker 5: are so focused on being against him that they can't
- 4:26Speaker 5: figure out what they're for. And as a result, the
- 4:29Speaker 5: Democratic Party is now held in lower esteem than it
- 4:32Speaker 5: has in some forty some odd years.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the problem. They forgot to be for something.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you.
- 4:39Speaker 6: Doing, good morning, Mack. I'm okay. I hope Sean Duffy
- 4:44Speaker 6: as he issued a statement last night that they put
- 4:47Speaker 6: the fight on nail in the coffin of this congestion pricing.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Well, he's trying to find a way to stop it.
- 4:54Speaker 1: He hasn't found the way to stop it yet.
- 4:55Speaker 6: Well, he could also say, well, we're not giving you
- 4:58Speaker 6: no more federal money and that you infringed on uh uh,
- 5:05Speaker 6: what we're supposed to do. We gave you money, and
- 5:08Speaker 6: that's a public street that you can't if it's using
- 5:11Speaker 6: federal money, you can't charge our people. Told. But that
- 5:15Speaker 6: being aside, I hope the con artists in New Jersey,
- 5:18Speaker 6: the New Jersey corrupt machine, doesn't do like what they
- 5:22Speaker 6: did four years ago when Murphy was running against Chatterrelly. Uh,
- 5:26Speaker 6: the votes were coming in, it looks like Chatterrelly was
- 5:30Speaker 6: that's a really that's how you're really supposed to pronounce.
- 5:34Speaker 1: But I like that Chatterrelly. The guy's always talking.
- 5:37Speaker 6: Well, uh, c I a and Italian his chat. It's
- 5:41Speaker 6: not terrell I don't know.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Where better chattering well.
- 5:44Speaker 6: Yeah, even even Ken Rosato agreed with me, uh Friday
- 5:49Speaker 6: when he when he sat in for you. Uh, I
- 5:52Speaker 6: don't know where Uh. He sounds like well Jack Chatterrelli speaks.
- 5:58Speaker 6: He sounds like a post Vazuula Curtis Leeb. Well, anyway,
- 6:04Speaker 6: I hope they don't do what they did the last time. Well,
- 6:07Speaker 6: it's getting laid. We'll continue to count tomorrow. Jack Chatterelli
- 6:11Speaker 6: was ahead when they stopped the vote and then slowly
- 6:15Speaker 6: like they did with Trump. And I believe, well.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Yeah, no, you're you're absolutely right. For there is a
- 6:19Speaker 1: problem with a little u corruption there in New Jersey.
- 6:22Speaker 6: And all of a sudden, these votes come in that
- 6:24Speaker 6: were in people's trunks. Oh, we found them here in
- 6:27Speaker 6: a box.
- 6:27Speaker 1: And believe the Connecticut does that too, Like these experts
- 6:32Speaker 1: in the campaigns will tell you got to win by
- 6:33Speaker 1: like an extra three points in those places to get
- 6:37Speaker 1: past the cheating. But Vincent, great call, Thanks for calling.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Oh when we come back, Liz Peak will be with
- 6:42Speaker 1: us next. We'll talk about the election and a whole
- 6:45Speaker 1: lot more coming up next on seven to ten wor
