- 0:00Speaker 1: What's better than two hours of Marc Simone? Three!
- 0:04Speaker 2: The Marc Simone Show.
- 0:05Speaker 1: Now nine till noon weekdays. 710WOR.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Hey, welcome to hour number two. That's right, if you
- 0:16Speaker 2: just joined us, you missed the first hour. Remember, it's
- 0:18Speaker 2: nine to noon every day. Three hours every day. Nine
- 0:21Speaker 2: to noon. So, a lot to get to this morning.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Just minutes ago it concluded, but it was... Big press conference.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Kathy Hochul and Letitia James. Governor Kathy Hochul on the
- 0:35Speaker 2: Cornell alleged rape case. About two years too late, but
- 0:40Speaker 2: she's on it now. Why? Because it's election time and
- 0:44Speaker 2: she needs to look like she's busy, like she's doing something,
- 0:47Speaker 2: like she's taking action. This rape took place about two
- 0:51Speaker 2: years ago. This all went to her district attorney. These
- 0:55Speaker 2: district attorneys, that's a state job. The district attorneys work
- 0:58Speaker 2: for her. So it was her district attorney that decided
- 1:02Speaker 2: not to prosecute a year ago. This is all her
- 1:06Speaker 2: on her watch. Now she's snapping into action, acting like
- 1:11Speaker 2: she is going to take action. She is going to
- 1:13Speaker 2: get to the bottom of this. Two years too late,
- 1:16Speaker 2: but she's going to get to the bottom of this.
- 1:17Speaker 2: And remember, she's up for reelection and Letitia James is
- 1:22Speaker 2: up for reelection. In fact, in 32 days, you can
- 1:24Speaker 2: vote Letitia James out of office. You can also get
- 1:28Speaker 2: rid of Kathy Hochul. There's a very fine Republican candidate
- 1:32Speaker 2: for Attorney General who you should vote for. And, of course,
- 1:35Speaker 2: you should vote for Bruce Blakeman. And you can get
- 1:38Speaker 2: rid of Hochul and Letitia James in 32 days. So
- 1:42Speaker 2: that's why they're pretending that they're on top of this,
- 1:45Speaker 2: that they're being decisive. They'll get to the bottom of this.
- 1:49Speaker 2: It's a little silly, but they're playing to the cameras. So, yeah,
- 1:54Speaker 2: Bruce Blakeman got a great tax plan. that would dramatically
- 1:59Speaker 2: reduce taxes on everybody in New York, especially the middle
- 2:02Speaker 2: and lower incomes. They'll get the biggest benefit. of his
- 2:05Speaker 2: tax plan, everybody applauding it.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Our budget in New York State is twice the size,
- 2:10Speaker 1: twice the size of the state of Florida. So there's
- 2:13Speaker 1: a tremendous amount of fraud, waste, and abuse. Kathy Hochul
- 2:16Speaker 1: has given our taxpayer money to illegal migrants. All they
- 2:19Speaker 1: have to do is claim asylum. They get free food,
- 2:21Speaker 1: free housing, free transportation, and a free cell phone.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just wasting money. Our budget, you could cut
- 2:27Speaker 2: it 50% without any loss of services. Just stop wasting
- 2:31Speaker 2: all the money. Stop overpaying for everything. And then on
- 2:35Speaker 2: top of all that, they're charging double, triple the amount
- 2:38Speaker 2: of tax they should be charging. Then they nickel and
- 2:40Speaker 2: dime you to death with this congestion. Pricing taxes, pied-à-terre tax.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Blakeman will get rid of all of that ridiculous stuff.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Every other state is trying to get high net worth
- 2:49Speaker 1: individuals to move there. And we're chasing them out. It
- 2:52Speaker 1: doesn't make any sense. It's going to hurt the middle class.
- 2:54Speaker 1: We're going to sit down, negotiate, bargain with the legislature.
- 2:57Speaker 1: And as I said, I want tax relief.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Yeah. So vote for Bruce Blakeman 32 days from now.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Get the state back in shape. You know, Florida has
- 3:07Speaker 2: a much bigger population, much bigger population than New York.
- 3:13Speaker 2: It has more major cities than New York. And the taxes,
- 3:17Speaker 2: the budget is half of what ours is. It's half
- 3:20Speaker 2: of our budget. They just spend it carefully and wisely.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Immigration policy. I'm for it. guest worker permits, not amnesty,
- 3:29Speaker 1: not citizenship. But if you've been here for seven, eight, nine,
- 3:32Speaker 1: ten years and you're gainfully employed, you're not on welfare
- 3:37Speaker 1: and you never got in trouble, I think we should
- 3:40Speaker 1: give these people a guest worker permit. Let them stay here. Yeah.
- 3:43Speaker 2: So Blakeman for governor, if you want to donate, go
- 3:46Speaker 2: to Blakeman for New York dot com. Blakeman for New
- 3:49Speaker 2: York dot com. Hey, by the way, by the way,
- 3:51Speaker 2: he's been for the last few months. working his tail off,
- 3:55Speaker 2: campaigning all over the place, constantly campaigning here, there, upstate, everywhere. Now,
- 4:01Speaker 2: the word is that President Trump will campaign with Bruce
- 4:06Speaker 2: Blakeman in upstate New York. You know, Trump might not
- 4:10Speaker 2: be that popular right here in New York City, but
- 4:13Speaker 2: upstate Syracuse, a few other places. In fact, there's an
- 4:17Speaker 2: event in Syracuse October 9th. It's expected that President Trump
- 4:22Speaker 2: might campaign with him. Another source said President Trump considering
- 4:26Speaker 2: making additional upstate campaign stops later this month. Now, you
- 4:31Speaker 2: got these fake polls all over the place. Siena College
- 4:34Speaker 2: poll has Blakeman trailing by nine points. These are the
- 4:40Speaker 2: stupid media polls, college polls. Very, very rigged. The metrics
- 4:46Speaker 2: are all rigged. Republicans at 23 percent of the sample.
- 4:50Speaker 2: They should be 38 percent. wrong demos. They're not using
- 4:54Speaker 2: likely voters. They're using adults, which means whoever they want.
- 4:58Speaker 2: But in the real polls that the candidates use, those
- 5:01Speaker 2: are much different. Those are very expensive polls, deadly accurate.
- 5:06Speaker 2: In the real polls, Blakeman has tied her. That's why
- 5:10Speaker 2: she is now in panic, spending a fortune on attack
- 5:15Speaker 2: ads all over the place on Bruce Blakeman. If you're
- 5:18Speaker 2: watching television, you'll see these attack ads nonstop against Blakeman.
- 5:22Speaker 2: That is panic on the part of Kathy Hochul. That's
- 5:25Speaker 2: a lot of money for all those ads. Just saturating
- 5:28Speaker 2: the airwaves with them. You only do that when you're
- 5:30Speaker 2: in trouble. So she's seen the real polls. 32 days away,
- 5:34Speaker 2: you got the midterms. Same thing with the midterms. You'll
- 5:36Speaker 2: see all these polls trying to convince you that Republicans
- 5:40Speaker 2: are so far behind. The president's approval rating is so low.
- 5:43Speaker 2: That's not the case. That's not the case. You can't
- 5:46Speaker 2: really predict what will happen, but it's pretty much even
- 5:49Speaker 2: right now. Don't take it from me. Here's the CNN pollster.
- 5:52Speaker 3: In Iowa, where the Democrats have been getting really good polls,
- 5:55Speaker 3: Republicans outperformed their September polls by nine points back in 2024.
- 5:58Speaker 3: How about Ohio?
- 6:00Speaker 1: Six points.
- 6:00Speaker 2: How about Michigan?
- 6:02Speaker 1: Five points.
- 6:02Speaker 3: And I will note that the leads that the Democrats
- 6:05Speaker 3: have in all of these races right now are under
- 6:08Speaker 3: how much the GOP outperformed back in 2024.
- 6:10Speaker 1: So you look at this and you go, You know what?
- 6:14Speaker 3: Maybe we should just hold on a second here because
- 6:17Speaker 3: we've seen this dance before and it was not a
- 6:19Speaker 3: dance that Democrats like when the votes are actually cast
- 6:21Speaker 3: and counted.
- 6:22Speaker 2: Yeah, the big news yesterday was Chuck Schumer suddenly saying
- 6:25Speaker 2: the GOP might steal this election. Warning everybody, the GOP
- 6:29Speaker 2: was going to steal the election. Well, if Schumer is
- 6:31Speaker 2: already making excuses for a Democratic loss, he's looked at
- 6:35Speaker 2: some private numbers too. So that tells you a lot. Hey,
- 6:38Speaker 2: good for Secretary of State Marco Rubio. who yesterday threw
- 6:43Speaker 2: Iran's foreign minister and his delegation out of the country.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Iran's foreign minister. He came to be a part of
- 6:51Speaker 2: the UN General Assembly. And we actually did give him,
- 6:54Speaker 2: we granted him a visa with severe restrictions, but he
- 6:58Speaker 2: was granted a visa and allowed to come speak at
- 7:01Speaker 2: the UN General Assembly. Well, he's still here. So Rubio
- 7:05Speaker 2: ordered them to get the hell out. Just get out
- 7:08Speaker 2: of New York and leave. By the way, Iran has
- 7:11Speaker 2: got about two weeks left and then they have absolutely
- 7:14Speaker 2: no money. Nothing. They're totally broke. As we mentioned yesterday,
- 7:19Speaker 2: every year, UN General Assembly, the Iranian delegation, the president,
- 7:24Speaker 2: the foreign minister, they come to New York. They take
- 7:27Speaker 2: a whole bunch of suites at the Millennium Hotel right
- 7:30Speaker 2: across the street from the UN. That's where they always stay.
- 7:33Speaker 2: This year, they could not afford a hotel room. So
- 7:37Speaker 2: they all slept. at the Iranian embassy, and apparently a
- 7:40Speaker 2: lot of them are still there, but have been told
- 7:43Speaker 2: to get the hell out of the country by this weekend.
- 7:45Speaker 2: You remember that reflecting pool? The guy, a Trump hater,
- 7:53Speaker 2: Olympic canoeist, vandalized the pool. He got in the pool,
- 7:58Speaker 2: whatever he did, and they brought a case against him. Well,
- 8:01Speaker 2: it was thrown out yesterday. This is Jeanine Pirro, the
- 8:04Speaker 2: DA in Washington, D.C. But it's Washington, D.C. You get
- 8:07Speaker 2: these Trump-hating left-wing judges. They're always going to rule against Trump.
- 8:12Speaker 2: So the case was tossed out with prejudice. Now, what
- 8:17Speaker 2: that means is you can't bring the case again. The
- 8:20Speaker 2: judge claimed Pirro's office had shot first, asked questions later.
- 8:25Speaker 2: It was a lightning-fast indictment process. The prosecutors assigned to
- 8:31Speaker 2: the case, this is the judge talking, The prosecutors assigned
- 8:34Speaker 2: to the case thought it was meritless, but the president
- 8:37Speaker 2: repeatedly disparaged them, pressured them to change course. Well, that
- 8:41Speaker 2: could be, but you're not supposed to get into that
- 8:44Speaker 2: if you're the judge. You're not supposed to even consider that.
- 8:47Speaker 2: But again, he not only dismissed the case, but with prejudice.
- 8:50Speaker 2: That's a big thing. That means that the U.S. Attorney's
- 8:54Speaker 2: Office there, Jeanine Pirro, cannot refile the case. They cannot
- 8:59Speaker 2: bring the case. So We'll see. Trump can get pretty
- 9:02Speaker 2: mad sometimes when this stuff happens. We'll see what happens.
- 9:06Speaker 2: As Jimmy Fallon pointed out, this reflecting pool stuff, if
- 9:10Speaker 2: you watch MSNBC or CNN or you watch The Daily
- 9:14Speaker 2: Show or John Oliver, this is all they're talking about,
- 9:16Speaker 2: the ballroom, the reflecting pool, the arches. Jimmy Fallon points
- 9:21Speaker 2: out this crowd that watches this stuff, they're all like elitist, Trump-hating,
- 9:28Speaker 2: old white liberals. They're older. angry white liberals that watch
- 9:34Speaker 2: The Daily Show and this sort of stuff and don't
- 9:37Speaker 2: realize that actual Americans, normal, everyday Americans are working their
- 9:41Speaker 2: tail off, going to work every day, raising kids. They
- 9:44Speaker 2: don't even know about the reflecting pool. They don't care
- 9:47Speaker 2: about the ballroom. They're not interested in the arts. This
- 9:50Speaker 2: is not an issue they pay any attention to. This
- 9:52Speaker 2: is just for the MSNOW crowd to worry about. President
- 9:56Speaker 2: Trump did that Time Magazine interview yesterday. Did you know
- 9:59Speaker 2: that there's still a Time Magazine? Did you know that
- 10:03Speaker 2: even still exists? Time Magazine. Remember the old Time Magazine?
- 10:07Speaker 2: A million years ago, it was a big, big deal.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Time Magazine was the most important news magazine in the world.
- 10:14Speaker 2: If you were on the cover of Time Magazine, that
- 10:17Speaker 2: was considered the most amazing accomplishment ever. Now, in today's world,
- 10:22Speaker 2: nobody knows what the hell Time Magazine is, except a
- 10:25Speaker 2: few seniors. If you're under 60, you never heard of
- 10:28Speaker 2: Time Magazine, you don't know what it is. And if
- 10:30Speaker 2: you said to somebody, hey, I was on the cover
- 10:32Speaker 2: of Time Magazine, they don't know what a cover is.
- 10:35Speaker 2: What do you mean a cover? A cover of what?
- 10:37Speaker 2: A cover. Because it's a website. Everybody gets everything online.
- 10:41Speaker 2: A website. There's no such thing as a cover anymore.
- 10:44Speaker 2: But in the interview, they asked him if he would
- 10:48Speaker 2: pardon any officials from his administration. He says, sure, I'd
- 10:52Speaker 2: do that. Well, of course, the now left-wing Time magazine
- 10:55Speaker 2: went crazy. They went crazy, and they were giving him
- 10:58Speaker 2: a hard time. They were arguing with him. He said, hey,
- 11:02Speaker 2: you didn't mind pardoning Fauci. You didn't mind Biden pardoning
- 11:05Speaker 2: all these people. Sleepy Joe gave pardons to everyone. He
- 11:09Speaker 2: pardoned his son. You didn't say a word about that.
- 11:12Speaker 2: but these left-wing time magazines where the Democrats take total
- 11:15Speaker 2: control of the House, the Senate, all of that, and
- 11:18Speaker 2: investigate Trump day and night. They're going to subpoena his phones.
- 11:25Speaker 2: He's got a cell phone. The first term he used
- 11:28Speaker 2: what is the official presidential White House cell phone. First term.
- 11:34Speaker 2: And that's like a special military phone that has... You
- 11:38Speaker 2: can make a call, receive a call. That's it. It
- 11:40Speaker 2: can't do anything else. It can't text. It can't receive text.
- 11:43Speaker 2: There's nothing else on the phone for security reasons. Second term,
- 11:48Speaker 2: he's got that thing, but he's decided he'll use his
- 11:51Speaker 2: own cell phone. And he's been doing that for the
- 11:53Speaker 2: last year and a half in his second term. He
- 11:55Speaker 2: has an actual Apple iPhone that he uses. And on
- 11:59Speaker 2: that phone, he gets texts. He sends emails, that sort
- 12:01Speaker 2: of stuff. But he doesn't email, but he texts all
- 12:04Speaker 2: the time. And he's given that cell phone number to
- 12:07Speaker 2: everybody in the media. Everybody has that cell number. And
- 12:12Speaker 2: they call him. And a lot of times they text him.
- 12:15Speaker 2: In fact, most people text. You know, he's the president
- 12:18Speaker 2: of the United States. Let's say you want to ask
- 12:19Speaker 2: him something. You text him first. You don't just call.
- 12:22Speaker 2: So he'll text back. And everybody texts back and forth
- 12:26Speaker 2: with him. All of you in the media. Everybody. You
- 12:28Speaker 2: know who you are. A lot of you in the
- 12:30Speaker 2: business world. A lot of people that know. Everybody's been
- 12:33Speaker 2: texting with him for a year and a half. If
- 12:36Speaker 2: the Democrats win, they're going to subpoena those texts. He's
- 12:40Speaker 2: going to fight it, you know, presidential executive privilege, all that,
- 12:44Speaker 2: you know, private classified presidential communications, that sort of stuff.
- 12:50Speaker 2: But they won't give up, and they'll get it before
- 12:52Speaker 2: a left-wing kook of a judge, a Trump-hating judge in D.C.
- 12:57Speaker 2: And at some point, they may have to turn over those.
- 12:59Speaker 2: So if anybody's been texting with President Trump, if the
- 13:04Speaker 2: Democrats take over, You're going to see those texts subpoenaed,
- 13:09Speaker 2: received by Congress, and all those Elizabeth Warren and Bernie
- 13:13Speaker 2: Sanders and Ro Khanna and Adam Schiff, they will be
- 13:16Speaker 2: releasing your text. They'll all be printed. They'll all be public.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Just beware of that. If you've had some private conversations,
- 13:26Speaker 2: stuff you don't want public, just beware of that. We'll
- 13:29Speaker 2: take some calls next. 800-321-0710 is the number. If you're
- 13:36Speaker 2: a new caller, we'd love to hear from you.
- 13:37Speaker 1: 800-321-0710.
