- 0:12and I come out here every day to.
- 0:14Record a podcast to. Teach distinctions,
- 0:17possibilities, new ways of thinking, and just bring some
- 0:20joy into the world. So welcome to the coop and let's
- 0:23start your day off in a fantastic way.
- 0:27Hey everybody, good morning. We are very early in the garage.
- 0:32Piles of seeds, piles of trays, plants that have sprouted,
- 0:35plants that are getting planted, all kinds of things going on.
- 0:39This is an exceptionally busy time for me client wise, plant
- 0:44wise, garden wise, you name it it.
- 0:47There's a lot going on and there's a lot going on in the
- 0:49world right now. And I've had quite a few clients
- 0:54who have had a lot of things happening.
- 0:58Like a lot of some, some things are, are normal chaos and some
- 1:04things are unexpected chaos. But you know, it's sometimes it
- 1:08comes in waves and this wave, just like in the ocean, there
- 1:12are smaller waves and there are bigger waves like we could say
- 1:14the ocean. Always has.
- 1:16Waves. Sometimes it's they're small,
- 1:18sometimes they're big. It's just depending upon what it
- 1:21is. And right now, this is a time
- 1:23when the waves are very, very big and they seem to be going
- 1:27one after another after another with people and a lot of them
- 1:31are struggling with it. So in the midst of it being
- 1:36busy, busy as normal and this time of year is exceptionally
- 1:40busy, the, the, the waves are intense and people are getting
- 1:46hit and that puts a lot of pressure on them.
- 1:50It puts a lot of pressure on me to make sure that I'm helping as
- 1:54much as I possibly can and staying in in a good frame
- 1:59myself. And yesterday my daughter
- 2:02actually checked in on me as she does a bunch of assistant work
- 2:06for me. And she said, I, I have to ask
- 2:10you, are you, are you doing OK right now?
- 2:13Like are you OK? And I was like, yeah, I'm
- 2:15totally fine. And she said, OK, well, let me
- 2:18know if you need me to take care of anything.
- 2:21And I thought just knowing that I have that is like a very
- 2:24useful tool. And I know a lot of people don't
- 2:27have something like that, but I do and I'm very fortunate with
- 2:30that and, and I'm grateful for that often.
- 2:33And it, it really got me thinking about the fact that I
- 2:38rely so heavily on my internal belief system when these things
- 2:43happen. And I think the more my outside
- 2:47world becomes chaotic or the my clients outside world becomes
- 2:50chaotic, I hunker down on my inside world and believe, like
- 2:56wholeheartedly believe. No embody the fact that as that
- 3:01goes on, I know I'm part of this on purpose.
- 3:05Like I'm not saying it's in a mean way, like I did that on
- 3:08purpose. I'm saying I'm on purpose.
- 3:11Meaning I'm supposed to be part of this.
- 3:13So when someone says messages me and says hey, I just lost my job
- 3:18or hey, I just had a car accident or hey, I'm in the
- 3:21hospital or hey, and all these things are happening.
- 3:24They're not made-up. I am completely and totally part
- 3:29of that for a reason. And I know I'm supposed to be
- 3:33part of that. So instead of me just going like
- 3:37and in frustration, I go, OK, what we do right now is what is
- 3:42going to help move forward. We have a short period of time
- 3:45to get their heads straight, to get their actions straight, to
- 3:49put in the right framework. But that relies on a very heavy
- 3:54belief system that I embody behind the scenes, which is I'm
- 3:58supposed to be here, I'm supposed to be doing this.
- 4:01I'm supposed to be acting into this.
- 4:04This is not an accident. I am cared for, I am lifted up,
- 4:08I am guided, I am protected. I'm supposed to be part of it
- 4:14and because of that, I navigate it all as OK.
- 4:18This is just part of where we are right now.
- 4:21This is like the the morning walking out on the farm.
- 4:25You never know what you're going to walk into, but you know
- 4:28you're on the farm in that moment.
- 4:29I'm on the farm and trying to stay in that headspace of being
- 4:34in the moment. Yes, none of us know what's
- 4:37going to happen moment to moment.
- 4:38We really don't. We believe we do because we look
- 4:42for certainty and we are incredibly certainty driven
- 4:45creatures by nature. But we.
- 4:47Really don't know what's going to happen moment to moment.
- 4:51I read a story this morning that my friend sent over to me
- 4:56because it happened to be someone that she knew.
- 4:59And she said that a little boy choked in school and he passed
- 5:03away and no one could help him. Nobody could seem to save this
- 5:06little boy. And it was tragic.
- 5:08And she was like, pray for the family.
- 5:10And of course, immediately you, you think about this and you put
- 5:13them into your morning prayers and you think, gosh, this is
- 5:15terrible. And I stopped and I pause and I
- 5:20think those parents sent that little boy to school with the
- 5:24intent that he was going to come home from school safe and they
- 5:27will not have that happen. And we all pause and in those
- 5:31moments we get it. We go, ah, right.
- 5:33This is the impermanence of it all is here, but it, I, I think
- 5:39about that and that drives me internally to have that strong
- 5:43belief system all the time, as much as I as a human can because
- 5:48of my brain floats around it, it, it, but it gives you that
- 5:52belief that like, OK, I, I don't have to worry quite so much.
- 5:57I don't have to put this on this so much stress in my head
- 6:02because I have this belief system that says I'm guided, I'm
- 6:07present, I'm here and I'm going to do everything I can while I'm
- 6:10here because I don't know what's going to happen.
- 6:12Now that may sound crazy, but it is liberating in some way.
- 6:17At least it is for me. So the impermanence actually
- 6:21makes me braver. The impermanence actually makes
- 6:24me appreciate more. The impermanence of it all makes
- 6:27me believe even more in the spiritual side of it.
- 6:31So it's a duality that blends together, at least for me.
- 6:34And I wanted to share that with everybody because if you are
- 6:36going through a crazy time, if you are having difficulties, now
- 6:41is the time to embrace that and really hunker down in your
- 6:44beliefs and stop letting the outside chaos in because there's
- 6:48enough internal chaos. Control that and make it all
- 6:51about the spiritual side. All right, my friends, I hope
- 6:54you have a blessed day and I will see you on the other side
- 6:58of all the chaos. Bye.
