- 1:40guys, because really, there is so much in this for you as well.
- 1:47And with no further ado, I'm bringing on a woman.
- 1:51A Yogi woman. A woman who knows all about the
- 1:57mastery of the mind. She is a master of
- 2:01hypnotherapist, she is the qualified yoga and meditation
- 2:08teacher. And she is about to bring
- 2:13forward the beautiful, the powerful, the deep dive into the
- 2:21power of your flourishing life. So drum roll for the Aussie and
- 2:29Aussie in the house. Nikki Pullin, come on down.
- 2:36Hello, hello And Nikki, where are you right now?
- 2:44Hi Terry, I am in Coochie, Australia, by the beach in NSW.
- 2:49Absolutely beautiful. We have an Aussie in the house.
- 2:53Aussie. Aussie.
- 2:53Aussie. Oi, oi, Oi, it's kind of like
- 2:59it. It's, you know, when you're
- 3:01walking down the street in Bali because you mentioned you
- 3:04haven't been to Bali before. I haven't.
- 3:07Amazingly, I can't believe an Aussie hasn't been to Bali,
- 3:10right? But it's really interesting that
- 3:12the Balinese are really insightful.
- 3:15They're very intuitive, so you know, you'll be walking down the
- 3:19street. And I mean, I get told I look
- 3:21like a European and yet they know I'm an Aussie and they'll
- 3:25go Ozzie, Ozzie, Ozzie. And then you say oy, oy, oy,
- 3:30it's just a real thing over there.
- 3:32So you know, Nikki, you're known for your bright, vibrant warmth,
- 3:39and you know, obviously you've even been given some nicknames.
- 3:46Happiness, Queen, Sunshine, Light, happiness.
- 3:51And I mean, you are basically the epitome of the rise of woman
- 3:57and you live it and you breathe it and you are just so centered
- 4:04in the divine of masculine and feminine.
- 4:08And I think this is what everyone's going to really love
- 4:12as they hear, you know, what you are actually talking about and
- 4:17how you impact people's lives. But you know, I guess everything
- 4:23always starts with a story. And I, what I say is, you know,
- 4:29Terry Messenger's Genius Zone, you know, I mentioned in my last
- 4:33podcast it really should be called our Weakness Zone because
- 4:38it's got a lot to do with our weakness and how something that,
- 4:44you know, really stirred within us and didn't quite work out for
- 4:50us suddenly moved the compass and truly just elevated into our
- 4:56Zone of Genius. But, you know, I'd like to kind
- 5:00of kick off with how you kind of really understood that you were,
- 5:06you were living through your sister.
- 5:09You were kind of looking at your sister as, I don't know whether
- 5:14you were looking at her as a role model or what that was.
- 5:17You can talk talk us through this, But you were obviously
- 5:21seeing your sister's life playing out and wondering why
- 5:26the heck it wasn't happening for you.
- 5:28Can you talk about that? Like, tell us about what your
- 5:32sister was living, what you saw in her that you know, caused you
- 5:38to feel like, you know, why isn't this happening for me?
- 5:41And you know, tell tell our listeners you know how that
- 5:46really impacted your life. OK, sure.
- 5:50So for me, I was. One of the main points, I was 37
- 5:57years old and I was breaking up with yet another boyfriend and I
- 6:03was devastated. Totally devastated.
- 6:06Not not because I was breaking up with that boyfriend, he he
- 6:08was definitely not right for me, but because I was breaking up
- 6:13again and I desperately wanted family.
- 6:16And this is where my sister comes in, because she was
- 6:18pregnant with baby #4 and I couldn't.
- 6:22Believe it, it was. It hit me to the core because,
- 6:26you know, it was as though she was living my life, as though
- 6:28our lives had been switched. She was living on the beach in
- 6:32Byron Bay, which is our hometown, And with baby #4 on
- 6:36the way, with a loving partner and a house on the beach and all
- 6:39the things that really mattered to me and I yeah, it was like
- 6:45our lives had been switched. I found myself this morning on
- 6:51the. I I was started to eat my
- 6:53breakfast and I just started the tears well up and I just really
- 6:58started to cry and fall apart and I just felt absolute rock
- 7:03bottom. So that was the epitome of that
- 7:05point in time. I just felt so rock bottom.
- 7:08It was a real dark night of the soul like why can't I make this
- 7:11happen for me How is how is this possible.
- 7:17And I just was crying and crying and in that moment a.
- 7:22In that moment, one of the guys from work called, and he
- 7:27couldn't believe he found me in that position because I was
- 7:29always, always the bright, sparkly, happy, you know, wisdom
- 7:32for everybody. And he was just like, Oh my God,
- 7:35pull yourself together, you know, in that moment.
- 7:38So there was no space for that. And miraculously, his wife was
- 7:42in the car next to him, and she'd overheard that
- 7:45conversation. And she called straight back and
- 7:48she said, Nikki, I don't know what's happened.
- 7:52But I can hear you're at rock bottom and it happens to all of
- 7:55us at some point. Here's the number for my
- 7:58kinesiologist. Go and see her.
- 8:01She will help. She's beautiful.
- 8:03And I just, it was like an Angel sweeping in in that moment.
- 8:06You know this opportunity, something to do, some step to
- 8:10take. And so I literally all I could
- 8:12do that day was book this appointment I went and as I
- 8:17walked up the stairs of this. Beautiful light filled room, the
- 8:21essential oils smells came in and everything just started to
- 8:25lift and I climbed up onto that table feeling super fragile and
- 8:31I watched that this woman asked my body questions and my body
- 8:35responded with this wisdom that I just had never seen or known
- 8:39before and it was mind blowing and beautiful and holistic and
- 8:45this incredible rest. Place of seeing this
- 8:49self-awareness and from this restful place which and an
- 8:54acceptance of being in this falling apart place.
- 8:59And so at the end of that session she said to me, you know
- 9:02practice some more quietness and stillness going within.
- 9:06And I said I practiced yoga and she said great, do more of that,
- 9:10do more of that. And so when I went to yoga that
- 9:12night. I asked about teacher training
- 9:15and I signed up for for teacher training and at the yoga center.
- 9:18I practiced and it was a two year deep dive.
- 9:20It was a complete spiritual journey.
- 9:23Oh yeah. Yoga is one of the, you know,
- 9:26one of the most absolutely respected disciplines I've come
- 9:32across. I think yoga is so
- 9:35underestimated, really, because every single Yogi that I know,
- 9:41you know that they really have some of the best practices, but
- 9:47they're woefully, a lot of them are woefully underpaid.
- 9:51Yeah, it's so interesting because I think in the West it's
- 9:54become very much part of the exercise regime rather than the
- 9:57deeper journey of the yoga practice.
- 10:01You know, things change with the times.
- 10:02But yeah, so that that was a massive turning point for me.
- 10:06I went into that deep yoga journey and really that was
- 10:09about shining the light within and actually learning who I was
- 10:13and what my needs and wants and wishes and desires were.
- 10:17And so I went really to the core of my being.
- 10:20And that was the incredible journey of realization with my
- 10:22sister that I've been trying to live a life that.
- 10:27Matched her values without even realizing.
- 10:29This is how these inner barriers are so invisible to us.
- 10:32So did you actually tell her, Nikki, Like, did you say we've,
- 10:36you know, switched lives? Or did you ever explain that to
- 10:41her? I don't know.
- 10:44Yeah, I don't. I look, I tried.
- 10:46This is one of those situations that I had with my sister and
- 10:50this is how I'm so passionate about women supporting women
- 10:52because we. You know, for her it seems more
- 10:57of a threat to have a conversation like that rather
- 11:00than a safe place to to unpack it and to be there for each
- 11:04other. And you know, you know, I've
- 11:07been through some tough times with her, but the the main
- 11:11thing, because I love her two bits and I know she does me too.
- 11:13And realizing that she doesn't love me any less ever.
- 11:17It's just there isn't this capacity or this allowance of
- 11:21women being in. Listening, understanding,
- 11:25hearing, holding all of those things and it's not a threat in
- 11:28any way. So, and that's where I think,
- 11:31you know, this is she needs to switch with you.
- 11:33So it sounds like she needs a little bit of you and you need a
- 11:36little bit of her, you know. So it could have gone both ways
- 11:40in this case, but I hear you so and I feel like this really
- 11:45aligns in with a lot of your story too, which we'll go deeper
- 11:49into a little later because you know, you're talking, you know,
- 11:53from the place of how many women are just channeling themselves
- 12:00into being that person for other people.
- 12:04And you know, and yet also feeling closed down, you know,
- 12:09to to some degree. And you've got a really good
- 12:13explanation for, you know, those women out there.
- 12:18And I know men listen to this podcast too.
- 12:20And we we never exclude you men. Because you know, I I work with
- 12:25the men and the ladies. And I know that even if a man
- 12:29gets to hear the way another woman feels the way that we
- 12:34think, that's gonna really empower you men out there
- 12:39anyways. However, one of the things that
- 12:43you know really happened, apart from the fact that obviously you
- 12:47had that moment at 37, that realization.
- 12:51And I love the story, I love the way you talk about, even as you
- 12:57were going up the steps and taking us through that whole.
- 13:02I mean, it's part of your mastery, right, as a
- 13:05hypnotherapist. And you know that you're already
- 13:09doing that kind of hypnosis by allowing us to to almost imagine
- 13:15what that fragrance of, you know, a aroma of smells that's
- 13:21coming out of the room as you lay down on that bench and and
- 13:25this lady puts her hands on you and discovers that the body is
- 13:32actually like the book is keeping the school because the
- 13:35body can't lie. Right.
- 13:38Right. And yeah, the body just cannot
- 13:41lie. So you know how incredible.
- 13:44Like, I thought it was the weirdest thing.
- 13:45You know, like my husband's a chiropractor and I thought it
- 13:50was the weirdest thing cuz like when we got together there was a
- 13:54lot of speculation and all talk and everything around that.
- 14:00And I remember my kids feeling quite auntie and and and feeling
- 14:06a little bit sort of held back by who's this new man in mum's
- 14:09life. And you know, he's a lot older
- 14:12than me and all those things. And if there was one thing that
- 14:16I remember came back to us that kind of really was to confirm
- 14:21that maybe I was falling for a weirdo, It was when he put a
- 14:27purple book on one of them and opened it up and could actually,
- 14:34the book could actually see where the problems were in the
- 14:39body. But this book, Nikki, like what
- 14:42you're talking about with the kinesiology, it holds like
- 14:47trapped emotions, like it can even tell if a person's been
- 14:50molested what age that happened. And it it just it it's so
- 14:57bizarre. But when you were telling that
- 14:59story, that kind of like flipped up.
- 15:04But you know you obviously grew up feeling like you were living
- 15:09underneath the lid like that you and this is like you're like a
- 15:14soul sister. I totally resonate with this.
- 15:18And even in our pre chat as you were talking me through this, I
- 15:24started having visions. And you know you're talking to a
- 15:27really good hypnotherapist when it provokes visions in the
- 15:31facilitator. Like I was having visions of
- 15:34being closed down by family members.
- 15:37But can you talk us through so our listeners can really
- 15:40understand, you know, what it's like to to sort of grow up or be
- 15:45in this world where you feel like you've got to be down,
- 15:49you've you've got to, you know, have that lid on and you know
- 15:53where you can't really exude your full expression.
- 15:59Can you talk me through this and even where it comes from?
- 16:03Because I know that there'll be people going, oh, yeah, when I
- 16:07was a little child that happened to me.
- 16:09So let's hear your story. Growing Single Mom.
- 16:14Yeah. So we grew up with a single mom
- 16:18for a few years in Wollongong and then moved to Byron Bay when
- 16:22I was just six years old. And that's where I grew up in
- 16:25the Seventies, 80s and 90s, So very blessed to have grown up
- 16:29there. So the way that I think I can
- 16:35express that the best is that. I just don't think the arena
- 16:42that I grew up in or anywhere that I was, it wasn't even such
- 16:45big experiences. But it's all I had that a lot in
- 16:50my life where I just feel like I was too big for the environments
- 16:54that I was in a lot of the time, like my full expression being in
- 16:58a. Being a woman in a patriarchal
- 17:01society, so I don't have anything against.
- 17:03I think the patriarchy is very important and was very important
- 17:07for you know, the masculine elements.
- 17:09However, you know when we're born to be bigger, we're we're
- 17:15bigger all the way along and it just doesn't really fit in with
- 17:18the societal conditioning. And so I constantly felt like in
- 17:22little experiences all the time that I was being shut down and.
- 17:28And the experience of life was shutting me down.
- 17:30Not totally, but just from being my big full expression of
- 17:35energy, of excitement, of enthusiasm, of celebrating
- 17:39others, of celebrating myself, definitely celebrating myself.
- 17:43Like, I remember at gymnastics one time, and I did some
- 17:46tumbling thing and I was like, wow, that was so good.
- 17:48And everyone just shut me down because you don't speak about
- 17:51yourself. Like that, you know, it's like
- 17:53especially as an Aussie, right, Don't you reckon it's a real
- 17:56Aussie thing to be the underdog and the tall poppy syndrome is
- 18:02so huge here in Aussie, it's it's crazy.
- 18:06And so, you know, even like you described to me a bit like I was
- 18:11seeing that story of the crab in the in the craypot where the
- 18:15crab is kind of trying to crawl at the top of the, you know, all
- 18:19the people in there, all good, meaning all, you know, with the
- 18:23right intentions are trying to pull it down.
- 18:26But you were talking about how you had a heart for, you know,
- 18:30helping out your mom and how your family were really trying
- 18:36to pull you back. Can you talk us through that?
- 18:38Because you would have been just a little child at that stage.
- 18:41Yeah, it's just because mom was single mom.
- 18:44I just really saw that, how much effort she made.
- 18:48How she was doing everything on her own, like she was an
- 18:50empowered woman, but that was through full on intention of
- 18:57these kids are not going to miss out because I'm a single mom.
- 18:59And so we had every experience. We went water skiing and snow
- 19:03skiing and camping and on the farm and rode horses and we did
- 19:08all of these incredible experiences.
- 19:09Like my mom is an amazing powerhouse and she was very
- 19:12driven by that experience. And I remember when we first
- 19:15moved to Byron Bay and went to school that she was a school
- 19:19teacher and it was Byron Bay was very conservative back then in
- 19:25the 70s, interestingly. And so it was almost frowned
- 19:28upon to be a single parent. So I watched mum navigate these
- 19:33places. So first through watching that
- 19:35that observation that you know one of the experiences that
- 19:38you're mentioning there is when we were camping in Tincam Bay
- 19:41and you know I think there was. A big storm had come in and
- 19:46there was sand flying everywhere and we'd come back to the tents
- 19:48and everything was out of control.
- 19:50And I just quickly went straight to help Mom.
- 19:52And also at the end of the day, I remember, you know, making her
- 19:56a cup of tea and looking after her because I had this drive to
- 19:59care for her. And you know, and that would
- 20:03often be rewarded as it is these days with black and ice block
- 20:07the next day or something, which is never was the drive for me to
- 20:11do any of these things. But that's.
- 20:14I remember being picked on by my brother and sister, you know,
- 20:16Goody 2 Shoes and always wanting to do, always wanting to do the
- 20:20right thing and getting rewards for it and all of this.
- 20:24And it was obviously, you know, just kids being kids and then
- 20:27putting me down. But that was another experience
- 20:29for me of feeling like, you know, don't be too good, don't
- 20:33be too this, don't be too that. Don't stand out.
- 20:37Don't stand out. Where abouts in your family
- 20:41tree, like where your brother and sister, are you in the
- 20:43middle? Are you the youngest back in the
- 20:45middle? I'm in the middle, so my
- 20:48sister's 15 months older and my brother's 15 months younger.
- 20:52So three kids very close together, Yeah.
- 20:55Fantastic. So you're right there in the
- 20:58middle and you know you it's hard to believe you grew up in
- 21:01the seven. Nikki, you I know our, a lot of
- 21:04our listeners can't see you, but you look so good and I feel that
- 21:09as we go along and you hear Nikki's journey and what?
- 21:14She does. And how she's turned her life
- 21:16around, you'll be able to understand because sometimes
- 21:21when you see a person it's, you know, when they look vibrant,
- 21:25when they are, you know, looking younger for their age, when
- 21:29they've got so much going for them, it's because they're
- 21:32living their life purpose. And you are the epitome of that,
- 21:36right? And you know, everybody has
- 21:40their cross to bear. You know, I always say this and
- 21:43you know. I look on the other side, I
- 21:46like, I feel like I'm a sole sister with you where where you
- 21:49know, I I felt very much pushed down.
- 21:53But unfortunately mine became to the point where I I kind of
- 21:58believed it in the end. And, you know, I recognized,
- 22:03like, you know, because I've been dealing with people for so
- 22:06many years, I realized that, you know, women, especially they get
- 22:10into their 30s. And it's like everything catches
- 22:13up with them and they say that midlife crisis happens, you
- 22:17know, 40s, fifties and beyond. I I beg to differ.
- 22:21I feel like the real midlife crisis, whether it be for women
- 22:26going out on a high, living their best years or whatever,
- 22:30it's like the estrogen years where estrogen is at a.
- 22:35You know, all time high and you know, suddenly everybody kind of
- 22:41remembers their childhood. Suddenly everybody's realizing
- 22:46what they have, what they haven't got.
- 22:48And it's like that starts to get to that point of where's my life
- 22:52going now, You know? And you know you are a great one
- 22:58for shining your light. And you know, really, you know,
- 23:03living and breathing that. And I guess from where I see you
- 23:09is that the problem was in your relationships.
- 23:13And this is not with the girls. This is with the guys.
- 23:17So you obviously had a string while your sister got married
- 23:21and went on and had the life that you felt that you wanted so
- 23:26much and you felt that was your life, do you think?
- 23:30Because what I'm hearing is that you kind of went after the guys
- 23:35that weren't quite, you know, aligning with.
- 23:40Yourself. Do you know what you're
- 23:43attracting? Like?
- 23:44Can you see a pattern through a lot of the men that you were
- 23:48dating or going out with, where there was the learning that
- 23:53Nikki had to have? Like because obviously people
- 23:56come into your life for a reason.
- 23:58What do you reckon was the greatest learning?
- 24:02You had to get to 37 and then go.
- 24:09Something's got to change here. Yeah.
- 24:11Yeah. Well, I think, like everything,
- 24:14nothing changes unless you change.
- 24:16And so really, for me, it was realizing that I wasn't choosing
- 24:22my partners. Instead, I was going with, you
- 24:26know, it was more like when somebody was attracted to me
- 24:29going, being chosen. Being chosen.
- 24:36Being chosen. I just had to really open.
- 24:39Did you hear that, ladies? Don't wait to be chosen anyway.
- 24:43Yeah, yeah, I think that's huge. You don't realize, you know,
- 24:46we're we're hoping, oh, we might meet someone and then somebody
- 24:49shows interest and it's like, I've been chosen, like, so then
- 24:53I would spend my time trying to fit in and make that
- 24:55relationship great. But I wasn't meeting from a
- 24:57place of authenticity in myself. I was, you know, going in,
- 25:02molding myself to be attractive and to be a right fit for that
- 25:06person and then feeling the consequences, like, you know,
- 25:09being made small to fit in. And I was always leading all the
- 25:13joy and the adventure and all the excitement in the
- 25:15relationships, but it wasn't in a balanced way.
- 25:19And there was a couple of times, one time a partner and I were
- 25:22Mr. Plain in New York and he looked at me like it was just
- 25:27totally my fault. And I was like, there's two of
- 25:29us here, like, you know what I mean?
- 25:31And I realized that I I took responsibility for everything in
- 25:34the relationships and. You know you're the
- 25:37responsibility chick as well. Another thing that you and I
- 25:41have got in got 2-3 but just another one like waiting to be
- 25:47chosen like. Yeah.
- 25:50And I wonder, look, I I really just want to open this up,
- 25:53Nikki, if you don't mind, because I know that there's a
- 25:55lot of people out there that are wondering why they're not
- 25:58attracting the right relationships.
- 26:00But you know, I'm having a flashback to school days and I
- 26:05when I was in a a girls school and we had this dance and that,
- 26:11we had all these guys coming along and it was the first
- 26:14dance, you know, where we were going to be with the opposite
- 26:17sex. And we, because I was so used to
- 26:21being the ugly duckling, and I kind of changed.
- 26:24And I've already told that story, but I sort of really grew
- 26:29my hair. I'd taken my glasses off and all
- 26:31the things. And I remember we were all
- 26:33standing there and we had to wait to be chosen.
- 26:37And I remember thinking to myself, no one's going to pick
- 26:42me, right? No one's going to pick me.
- 26:46And then having this, like, because of my past experience
- 26:51thinking, well, hang on a minute, what if I turned this
- 26:54around? What if I looked at all these
- 26:55guys and thought about, like, who would I like to pick me?
- 27:00And do you know, in that moment I'll never forget it because I
- 27:05was shocked. I was surrounded with five guys
- 27:08and I had to choose one. Amazing.
- 27:10Because I had to come and pick. But you know what it.
- 27:14Just didn't that you know from a psychological reason, because
- 27:17I'm sure you would be the you, you are the expert on this
- 27:21because you've lived it, breathed it, and and obviously
- 27:24gone through this. But I wonder if there's so many
- 27:28people out there that become so desperate and like yourself
- 27:33looking over your shoulder at your sister, so you're doing the
- 27:37whole comparison thing. You're almost doing like a lot
- 27:41of people will do the envy thing too, like they envy people.
- 27:45And I know Doctor John D Martini says, you know that envy is
- 27:50ignorance and comparison is suicide to the success that you
- 27:53want because it just kills it off.
- 27:56So while you're looking over the shoulder, you know what if you
- 28:00became the person who could just finally stand back and go?
- 28:05Well, what do I want rather than what does the world want?
- 28:08And I I I think just having this conversation with you and
- 28:11especially backstage, what I'm hearing is that you are also
- 28:18because you're such a giving person by nature.
- 28:21Yeah, and very altruistic in the sense of.
- 28:27You wanting to be that person to help your mom, you being that
- 28:30person to be focusing and channeling your energy into
- 28:35other families relationships and then what happens to Nikki?
- 28:40So what happened? What was the turn around?
- 28:43What made you go? I mean you had the kinesiology
- 28:48session and you know what made you go, right?
- 28:51OK, this is great. Yeah, this is a really clear
- 28:55moment. So this story is when?
- 29:00So it's just five years ago now. So because I'm about to
- 29:04celebrate the 5th anniversary with my partner, my current life
- 29:09partner, who's my, my, my man. So I was, I had broken up with
- 29:15this guy who was much younger than me as well.
- 29:17So then I started attracting much younger men which was
- 29:20interesting when I first dated on you know online and I've had
- 29:25this relationship with this guy and I was doing exactly the same
- 29:28repeating patterns. And so this time we'd already
- 29:32broken up and he was living overseas in France and he was
- 29:34coming back into the country and he rang me and he all this
- 29:38anticipation. Nikki, I can't wait to see you.
- 29:40I'm so excited to see you and connect and see how you are.
- 29:43And it was just sounded very real and natural and as friends
- 29:46and I was excited to see him. And it was around my birthday
- 29:49and when he got into the country, I texted him and I had
- 29:53a busy schedule with birthday celebrations and I said, so are
- 29:56you here? Are we going to catch up?
- 29:58And he wrote back to me something absolutely appalling,
- 30:02I can't even remember something really derogatory and horrible.
- 30:05And it was insane. And in that moment I went to
- 30:09make an excuse for him and I started to type, Gee, that is
- 30:12bad jet lag. And then I caught myself in that
- 30:15very moment and thought, wow, look at me.
- 30:17Abandoning myself, making an excuse for his appalling
- 30:22behavior and just totally abandoning myself.
- 30:26And I just stopped in my tracks and I drew a line in the sand
- 30:30and I saw it so, so clearly. And I said, never again, never
- 30:34again will I abandon myself and accept behavior that's just not
- 30:40not acceptable. And so I drew that line in the
- 30:43sand. It was incredible and
- 30:44incredible. That's so good.
- 30:47So you just. Yeah.
- 30:49And yet I feel that you know your your gift in being able to
- 30:55see the best in people. Another likeness that you and I
- 30:59both got where you you will see like if you saw some of the guys
- 31:05I went out with Nikki, I mean you would you know you'd die
- 31:08with a leg in the air. Not to be a visual, but.
- 31:12I mean, some of the people I chose, I feel like I almost
- 31:19talked myself into it. But you know, it was almost like
- 31:25I would do the same thing. I relate, oh, they're like that
- 31:30because you know, they can't help it.
- 31:35You know, that's just the way they are and.
- 31:39Yeah, but how long? And it's interesting because my
- 31:43daughter calls me out on it even now.
- 31:46Like I will say something when she she'll say something about
- 31:51someone and I will give a a kind of a different perception being
- 31:56the all ever perception queen that I am and she'll say mum,
- 32:02why are you making up an excuse for that person?
- 32:06And really, I'm not making up an excuse from where I'm standing,
- 32:10but I'm, I guess I'm trying to protect her from feeling hurt
- 32:16and get her to see it in another way.
- 32:18But that doesn't always work. And I think, you know, you've
- 32:21really proven that. And I I noticed too, along the
- 32:26way, obviously. Like, can I ask how old were you
- 32:29when you met the man of your dreams?
- 32:31Like you're now, man. Yeah, My partner now.
- 32:34So I was 40. 48, yes. Oh my gosh, you look 38.
- 32:44I'm now 53 so. You're a tricker, you.
- 32:48Are a tricker girl. OK, guys, you do you you need to
- 32:52get into because whatever she's got there is a definitely a
- 33:00silver bullet. OK, so you were that.
- 33:04Age when you finally met your man.
- 33:07I'm I'm kind of wondering where the people, when they're so
- 33:09desperate for something, instead of attracting it, they're
- 33:12pushing it away. And you know, I saw it about
- 33:16money as well the other day. And one of my mentors was saying
- 33:21the reason that money comes to me so easily and effortlessly is
- 33:27because I I don't second guess it.
- 33:30It's a part of my life. And it's like the air that I
- 33:34breathe. So it's not a oh, I desire it.
- 33:37I desire it. I desire it.
- 33:39And you know, I want that. I want that.
- 33:40I want that. Because really, when we're
- 33:42putting out that want, what we're really doing 9 times out
- 33:47of 10 is putting out a lack, isn't it?
- 33:49Yeah, Yeah. And you know, I feel like the
- 33:53universe 20 years prior. Knew exactly God knew exactly
- 33:59what was in store for you, Nikki, and he put a book in your
- 34:03hands and he actually, like I always say, it doesn't matter
- 34:08what happens to us, how bad are relationships that we've we've,
- 34:13you know, ever got into. There's always a great teaching
- 34:17from each and everyone of them and when you are 18.
- 34:22A guy gave you a book. Do you want to tell us about
- 34:25this book and tell us a little bit about it?
- 34:27Because I'm always looking and, you know, for good reads anyway
- 34:32on the show, and because it's got such a spiritual connotation
- 34:36to it, Would you mind sharing that?
- 34:39Yes. So for my 18th birthday, my
- 34:42partner at the time, my boyfriend, gave me a book called
- 34:47The Prophet by Kylie Gibran, and it's the most beautiful book.
- 34:51It's a short book and it's a story of a prophet talking to a
- 34:55community of people, and the community are asking him
- 34:58questions about the different areas of life.
- 35:01And when I read this book, it had such a huge impact on me
- 35:06because it was like my understanding about spiritual
- 35:12spirituality and the world and humanity had been written down
- 35:16in this really short book. And I just was blown away that,
- 35:23yeah, that my spiritual beliefs and concepts, which I never
- 35:26talked about because my family wasn't religious, so we didn't
- 35:29have a religion and we didn't talk about it.
- 35:31So I said I have my own beliefs, you know, and it was always just
- 35:33my secret. So when I read this book by
- 35:36Kalal, her little Gibran, I was just absolutely blown away and
- 35:40it just opened. I think it just reestablished my
- 35:44connection. It was like remembering who we
- 35:46are and what we came here to be. And one of the main ones is like
- 35:49speak to me of children. And he said our children are the
- 35:52arrows that we shoot forth from the steadiness of our boat being
- 35:57the parents. And it just, it was like a
- 35:59permission piece to go forth and be your great self, like to be
- 36:03that arrow shot forth into the world like that.
- 36:05We're not the property or the ownership of our family and our
- 36:09communities and our culture. We're actually free spirits, you
- 36:14know, flown forth in the world to become our great selves.
- 36:17And so I think that was the main piece that really spoke to me.
- 36:22But the whole book did and it just was, you know, yeah,
- 36:26connected me and gave me permission about spirituality.
- 36:29And also, you know, when I connected deeply to the yoga
- 36:33spirituality and the philosophy of yoga, same again.
- 36:37It was like, Oh my God, my understanding of spirituality is
- 36:40all here written down. Like who knew, You know?
- 36:44So that was mind blowing to me. So I so.
- 36:48And I guess that's one of the things I teach that, you know,
- 36:51we are conversing with the universe all the time.
- 36:54We're a part of the universe. And that intuition like what
- 36:58lights us up and those little drops in that excite us and
- 37:02those energy bursts, they're guides guiding us along our way.
- 37:05And actually, if we could just peel back the layers and listen
- 37:11to the what lights us up, the journey unfolds in the right
- 37:16aligned way. So that's what I've been doing
- 37:19since starting my coaching journey, like really deeply and
- 37:22with more purpose and everything's fallen into place.
- 37:25My highest value is family and I met my life partner with two
- 37:28incredible step kids that are sole family.
- 37:30I'm sure we've been together in previous lifetimes because we
- 37:33know each other deeply. So you know, what?
- 37:36A gift. Yeah.
- 37:37And you know, I, I, I just, I hear you.
- 37:40And now I can understand why you have created such a all powerful
- 37:48program that takes people on this beautiful voyage, this
- 37:55journey. From where they are, and even if
- 37:59it's not around relationships, it it it's it's a really, you
- 38:03know, the universe doesn't know whether you are missing.
- 38:07The vital relationship factor, or whether it's the money factor
- 38:12or it's the health factor, it's whatever factor you are missing
- 38:18in your life. And this program that Nikki has
- 38:22designed, founded and created is a step by step.
- 38:27To actually awaken you into being that person of who you
- 38:34were called to be, and it takes you back to the remembrance.
- 38:39So I'm going to go through that in just a moment and I'm so
- 38:42excited to do this because as you listen in viewers, what
- 38:47you're going to find is you're going to really, really not
- 38:51just. Hear something that's so
- 38:54powerful, but it's going to give you some vital steps of how to
- 38:59do life just by hearing the modules that Nikki has actually
- 39:07created. So you know, I look, I I was
- 39:10just listening to a podcast this morning actually and.
- 39:14You know, a guru who was just talking on the spiritual realm
- 39:19and I truly, truly believe what he was saying in the fact that,
- 39:27you know, our body, our humanity, our ego is just so
- 39:33kind of, I don't know, fallen. And it's so effed up, if you
- 39:39will. And it's just so, I don't know.
- 39:44It's so subject to the world and and and what's out there.
- 39:49And it's measurable. Where our spirit is infinite.
- 39:54It's immeasurable. And I was having this moment,
- 39:57you know, the other day, like, because I I do believe in God.
- 40:02And you know, I know that the Bible says we go to a place
- 40:06called heaven. And I was having this kind of
- 40:09argument with myself about, well, what is heaven anyway?
- 40:12Because I, like you, had a spiritual relationship with
- 40:17this, you know, higher entity when I was a little girl.
- 40:22Anyway, so it was always there. And what I came to know, Nikki,
- 40:29is that, you know, without that higher source, what have we got.
- 40:35But do you mind if I take people through this beautiful, juicy,
- 40:40powerful program step by step with you?
- 40:43Because it's just so exciting. And I'm gonna open up each, you
- 40:48know, each module as you have designed it, which is just so,
- 40:55so, so incredibly good. But we were talking about
- 41:01standing on the rooftop together and looking at what happens to
- 41:08this incredible woman when she has reached almost like her
- 41:16higher self. And, you know, you described it
- 41:21as obviously the magic of your hypnosis and where they've
- 41:27flourished and where they've opened up themself to their
- 41:32greatest talent. And, you know, I know that
- 41:36that's where the community really does really expand.
- 41:41But talk, talk to us about how you do this deep dive into this
- 41:48magical hypnosis world where they just open up and flourish
- 41:54into their talent. What does that look like and
- 41:57feel like? OK, so hypnosis.
- 42:01And I'm also done a lot of yoga and meditation, as you know.
- 42:04So hypnosis to me was just the most incredible modality in
- 42:08terms of its meditation with an absolute purpose.
- 42:12And so we can. Reprogramming and change things
- 42:15that we choose to in our subconscious mind from this
- 42:18deeply relaxed, beautiful place using the brilliance and
- 42:22creativity of our own brilliant mind.
- 42:25So hypnosis to me is incredible. And so for the last part of the
- 42:30course that in the last module we do a beautiful inner
- 42:35resources. Hypnosis, which is just a
- 42:39gorgeous journey of after we've been through all the steps in
- 42:41the program and really created the vision.
- 42:45So each individual person is creating their vision in this
- 42:49most beautiful, colorful, colorful, creative, visual way
- 42:53that means everything to them inside their own minds on a
- 42:57group powerful journey of deep relaxation.
- 43:01So do you feel like you know? Do you feel like people when
- 43:04they are because you talk about that being the power of
- 43:08flourishing into your greatest, you know, purpose, talent,
- 43:13right. Do you see that like because
- 43:16you're talking to a community that everybody has their own
- 43:21kind of geometrical coding system of color and symbols and
- 43:26shapes that represent their higher purpose?
- 43:31Yeah, 100%. Like we, I believe that we have
- 43:34everything within us like just like you know it's it's the,
- 43:38it's the destiny of an acorn seed to become an oak tree.
- 43:41So. So I believe that we arrive here
- 43:44with all of that potential untapped within us and we can
- 43:48grow into whatever oak tree we choose to.
- 43:50But this process that I take people through, it's all about
- 43:53relationship to self uncovering those layers, getting so deeply
- 43:57connected to themselves and that purpose.
- 44:00And that potential that then that has the ability to come
- 44:03forth and they can truly shine their unique light in the world,
- 44:06like permission to be 100% uniquely you.
- 44:10And so I can do a group hypnosis where everybody's creating their
- 44:14own vision in the hypnosis, like I'm igniting that within each
- 44:17person, but they're doing the creation.
- 44:21And I'm holding the space and creating a beautiful relax, deep
- 44:25relaxation so that the free flowing experience can permeate
- 44:29every cell in their body and become their new reality and
- 44:32their new story. Oh wow, that's amazing.
- 44:36Now in the Module 7, it's all around the power of vision and
- 44:46it's like the power of vision into your crystal clear life.
- 44:51Like talk me through what actually happens here when
- 44:56people have got, because obviously you've done so much
- 45:00work, which we're going to go deep into in a moment, I'll
- 45:02take, I'll, I'll, I'll go down into your program with you.
- 45:07But at this level, at level 7, this is where the power of
- 45:12vision, the visionary, comes through.
- 45:15You know how what is the way that you awaken that vision in
- 45:20people? So well, it's a it's it builds
- 45:26through the whole journey. Of course of the together We
- 45:28Rise journey and all the other modules.
- 45:31But by the time we get to Level Module 7, people are so
- 45:36connected deeply to their true yearnings and their true
- 45:39desires, and so they're creating a vision for the first time from
- 45:42that place of authenticity. And so we, you know, I take
- 45:47through a series of journaling questions and we answer the
- 45:50questions in, you know, we do a meditation first to really
- 45:53reconnect deeply to that place within where the desires have
- 45:57been getting clearer and clearer.
- 45:59And then we build a vision through answering the questions
- 46:03that I take people through and then we go into breakout rooms
- 46:05and you get to share your vision with an individual.
- 46:08And hold that space for each other.
- 46:10And that's where the power is because you know, it's when we
- 46:13share and we speak out loud and we hold that space for each
- 46:18other that we can see it, we can mirror back to the person and
- 46:21they can see their vision coming to life.
- 46:23So, but the point is from at module 7, we're so clearly
- 46:26connected to our true authentic self that the journey of
- 46:29creating that vision is coming from that place of true
- 46:33authenticity. So the vision is usually
- 46:35different to what it's ever been before.
- 46:38And guys, don't don't worry if you are in that position of
- 46:42going well. I don't know, I don't know what
- 46:45I want because we're going to take you down deep now so you
- 46:50can hear exactly from the top. So Nikki's talking about where
- 46:56you are when you come out on the other side of her program.
- 47:01And you know, we don't expect, and I know Nikki doesn't expect
- 47:06you to be able older, just have this powerful vision crystal
- 47:12clear of you being this amazing, empowered person living the life
- 47:21of your dreams with all the details.
- 47:25But, you know, did you have a moment?
- 47:27Like, I know that I, I had a Chris Howard moment and I'm sure
- 47:31he won't mind me saying this, but I had a moment where, you
- 47:36know, way back in 2006, I was doing all the NLP stuff right?
- 47:42And I was an absolute. I was like one of those groupies
- 47:46I was going to every show. And I'll never forget it.
- 47:50Like this is a packed out auditorium audience where all
- 47:54the seating is like this. And Chris Howard is really out
- 48:00there saying, you know, anchoring us into that, what it
- 48:04feels like, what it looks like and getting us to see.
- 48:08And you know, to this day, Nikki, I still use that anchor
- 48:15that he taught us at that show on how to bring myself into that
- 48:23incredible, incredible vision. But do you have a moment where
- 48:28you were able to really see your vision and really manifest it,
- 48:33that you can perhaps share with the audience and talk us through
- 48:38about, you know, what you saw in yourself, how you created it,
- 48:43whether it was journaling it, what you said in your journal,
- 48:47what you were actually delivering and what you do even
- 48:51with your clients to really help that person out there that's
- 48:56listening? Because a lot of people just
- 48:58don't know. They don't know how to take into
- 49:01that. Yeah, I I really believe in the
- 49:05power of connecting deeply to how you want to feel, how you
- 49:09want to feel in a relationship. So for me, when I thought about
- 49:14visioning about the partner that I wanted to be with and having a
- 49:17family, you know, and I was in my 40s already.
- 49:19So this was, you know, once I started to see the power in our
- 49:22own abilities. So for me, it's not around the
- 49:26detail of all of the image. And for some people it really is
- 49:31that visual detail. For me, it's how it's going to
- 49:33feel from the inside out. And So what I talked about in my
- 49:37journal and what I imagined being with a partner is just
- 49:40being able to feel my full expression and being celebrated
- 49:44in a relationship. In my love relationship with
- 49:47that and being able to truly celebrate my partner so that we
- 49:52could you know that we were. The vision was like we were
- 49:54holding hands together, connected, but looking out into
- 49:57our own visions fully. And one of the elements that I
- 50:02brought in was how I that I wanted to be able to call him my
- 50:07love. And that's all we call each
- 50:08other. My love, my love, my love that I
- 50:11could call my partner, my love. And that it was.
- 50:14Truly landed absolutely, deeply and correctly.
- 50:18And so we have been each other's my love since the beginning.
- 50:22Like it just flew, you know, it just flowed for both of us and
- 50:28so and so it was like being, you know, that whole thing about not
- 50:31having that lid on it or being my full expression.
- 50:33Being celebrated for that, creating a life together that
- 50:37fulfilled all of our needs, being able to.
- 50:40See and hear each other, being able to talk about the hard
- 50:43things, being able to navigate life.
- 50:45So I just brought it down in my journaling to all of the things
- 50:49that mattered to me. So it wasn't like what he looked
- 50:51like, what he did, what it, you know, It was like all of that
- 50:54stuff actually doesn't matter when you have true love and true
- 50:56deep connection from a place of authenticity and who you really
- 50:59are. That's what I wanted.
- 51:01And I was so clear. That's what I wanted and it's
- 51:03absolutely what I found three months after I.
- 51:07Threw that line in the sand, You know, in three months I just was
- 51:10like, so clear and you know, wasn't when I drew the line in
- 51:15the sand, wasn't when I wrote that, that visualization.
- 51:19That was beforehand. You know, you write it and you
- 51:21know it and you're clear about it and you let it.
- 51:23Forget about it to the universe. Hand it over.
- 51:25And so that's powerful. Did everybody hear that?
- 51:29You write it, you think about it, you feel it, and then you
- 51:35let it go. How powerful is that is?
- 51:38Isn't that letting go business? You would know surrender.
- 51:44That's got to be a very vital piece.
- 51:47It's a vital piece. So yes, absolutely.
- 51:50And I think let it, let go are the two most powerful words we
- 51:55have in in our humanity like letting go like we hang on to
- 51:59stuff so much, but letting go. So definitely in manifesting, I
- 52:03absolutely believe and visioning.
- 52:06Create that beautiful vision, feel it, see it, hear it, hear
- 52:11what's being said. So for me, my love and being
- 52:14able to have tough conversations and and the real elements were
- 52:18all there and then let it go. And then three months after that
- 52:21line in the sand, I decided to go on three dates.
- 52:24I booked three dates, online dating in one week and I was
- 52:27like, I'm just going to go and meet some men and have a nice
- 52:29time and no expectation. No.
- 52:32Expectation is another element. And they literally went on three
- 52:36dates within one week and they were all lovely.
- 52:40But Amir was definitely the one I connected deeply with on a on
- 52:43a heart level. And yeah, so there's no, Did you
- 52:46hear that, guys? No expectations go in there as a
- 52:51clear, you know, just this, this Clear Channel and yet know the
- 52:56feelings that you want. And as you heard what Nikki just
- 53:00said, she wanted to feel like she could be a full expression
- 53:04of herself. She also had that my love, which
- 53:08is like an audible sound. And you know what she's hearing
- 53:12with that beautiful connection and you know whether it is that
- 53:17you are going to be connecting inside Nikki's program, you
- 53:22know, with the ultimate relationship, maybe the one
- 53:25you've already got, maybe the one that you're longing for.
- 53:29But maybe it is that you are really longing for that, calling
- 53:33on your life like you're really, you know, desiring to be living
- 53:38into that life that you want. You might be feeling like a
- 53:42slave to your job or, you know, absent in in that money sense,
- 53:47or feeling like you're you're not living to your true
- 53:52potential. This is really going to take you
- 53:56through these very clear modules.
- 54:01And as you're listening to them, this is going to be very healing
- 54:04for you, you know, even just listening to Nikki's story and
- 54:10what we're talking about. But of course, then comes the
- 54:14next module and we're going from the top down.
- 54:19So we're getting sort of more to the middle where we're talking
- 54:23about boundaries. You know it, Nikki.
- 54:25You only need to express yourself here because I've got
- 54:28it all here, right? You've already given me the gold
- 54:32Nuggets, but the creation of boundaries so that you can stop
- 54:38putting your energy into other people's lives and start working
- 54:43on yourself. Would you like to really explore
- 54:48how important boundaries are and some of your own story and what
- 54:54you know about the importance of boundaries?
- 54:58Yeah, so boundaries is a really amazing one because we're not
- 55:04really taught boundaries. And so one of my favorite
- 55:07sayings is balance and boundaries.
- 55:08If we can create balance and boundaries in our life.
- 55:12Especially if you're thinking in terms of the wheel of life, I
- 55:14often get people to fill in the wheel of life as a snapshot of
- 55:17where their current satisfaction is in the different areas of
- 55:20their life. And usually we see that it's a
- 55:22very bumpy ride. You know there's elements where
- 55:25it stands out and elements where it's lacking.
- 55:27So for me, when you can create healthy boundaries, you create
- 55:33balance in your life and you can have an ease and flow journey.
- 55:37And So what was happening for me is I was prioritizing other
- 55:42people's needs. I've spoken about this a lot and
- 55:44I was kind of known as the other mom to many friends and
- 55:48families. And and I'm also godmother to
- 55:51many kids. Because you know, I loved
- 55:53family. I loved kids and and I didn't
- 55:56realize that I wasn't leaving any space up front for my needs
- 56:01and my wishes and 1. So it's all part of the same
- 56:03theme I was. You know, directing all of this
- 56:06energy into my highest value, which was family, but it was
- 56:08other people's families. And so learning to create
- 56:11boundaries around my time and my needs and actually bring into
- 56:15the forefront, filling my cup, becoming who I wanted to be,
- 56:20choosing partners like, you know, being so clear about who I
- 56:24am and going out into the world so.
- 56:26Learning to say no is a huge one and learning to be clear on what
- 56:31you say yes and no to is how you create boundaries in your life
- 56:36that keep you doing the things that align for you and that
- 56:40matter to you and and our values, which is the module
- 56:44before. This is one of the really best
- 56:45ways to, you know, have a pillar of.
- 56:52How you choose You know a lot of my modules before this year
- 56:55about how to choose your boundaries.
- 56:56You know that that which will certainly go deep, we'll go deep
- 57:00into that. So I love the way you said that.
- 57:04You've got to be able to say no, because the no becomes the
- 57:11bigger yes when it comes around. But what was it like for you,
- 57:17Nikki, when you know suddenly you had to give up channelling
- 57:23all your energy to other people because of, you know, your
- 57:28natural, you know, personality and that warm nature you've got
- 57:33and work on yourself. What did you find as a result
- 57:37it? Do you feel that it enables you
- 57:40to give more as a result, or what can someone expect when
- 57:44they develop boundaries? Developing boundaries, Yeah, so
- 57:48the results from that are incredible.
- 57:50So for me then I was able to listen to what my needs which
- 57:55isn't once were, which was my whole journey and and I started
- 57:58to craft a life. Life in alignment with that.
- 58:01So following what lit me up and doing those things and I created
- 58:05my own tribe of friends. I found ocean swimming, which I
- 58:08absolutely loved. And you know, I started to
- 58:13create a life that filled me up and gave me so much energy and
- 58:17light to share with others. So I was even more of myself.
- 58:22And I often say to my clients, imagine if the entire world was
- 58:26giving from an overflowing cup. Like if we learned to fill our
- 58:30own cup 1st and be full on all of our needs and personal care
- 58:35and sleep and all the things that matter and we were giving
- 58:38from that place, it means we're giving from our whole authentic
- 58:40self rather than from that depletion or lack.
- 58:44You know which most of the world is going around doing.
- 58:46And that's the norm in our society.
- 58:48And so that's learning. Yeah, that's a huge paradigm
- 58:52shift. So when you're giving from the
- 58:55overflowing cut, you've got so much more to give.
- 58:58It makes sense really, doesn't it?
- 59:01It's just it's really not, you know, rocket science.
- 59:04Can you tell me about the ocean swimming?
- 59:06I'd love to hear about that. What?
- 59:08Are you doing with the ocean? Swimming.
- 59:10I swim in the ocean every morning.
- 59:12Not today, because it was pouring rain for the first time
- 59:14in the Sydney streets, emptying into the beach sadly.
- 59:16So that's the day to avoid the ocean.
- 59:18But. I am an ocean swimmer, so I grew
- 59:21up in Byron Bay. I absolutely love the ocean
- 59:24because it was right there on my doorstep and now, but I just
- 59:28played and frolicked in the sea and I was comfortable in the sea
- 59:31because I grew up with it. But when I was walking one of
- 59:34the early years in Sydney from Bondi to Bronte and I saw
- 59:38swimmers going along the coastline, I was like, Oh my
- 59:41God, what is that? I want to do that.
- 59:43And I went to yoga that night. And my yoga teacher.
- 59:47And I said, I'm going to learn ocean swimming.
- 59:48And he said I'm doing it, come and train with me.
- 59:51And so I went and learned to swim in the ocean by because
- 59:54anything we want to do, we can do.
- 59:56So a lot of my coaching is around what are the skills and
- 59:59capacities you need to develop to create the life you love?
- 1:00:02Because often we're missing those.
- 1:00:04And so I saw that, it lit me up. And in that moment I said I want
- 1:00:09to do that and I can. And so I found how do you learn
- 1:00:12ocean swimming? And I went to train at Bondi
- 1:00:15Icebergs with Spot Anderson, who's.
- 1:00:17The triathlon champion of Australia, just the person who
- 1:00:20happened to be training and he actually said to me, can you
- 1:00:23swim 500 meters freestyle? And I said, well, I don't know
- 1:00:27because I have never tried. And he said, well, it's a
- 1:00:30straight yes or no answer. And I said yes, it was very
- 1:00:34funny. And he said OK.
- 1:00:36The key to ocean swimming is when you jump in the pool, swim
- 1:00:40as slow as you can, like you're about to sink, and then keep
- 1:00:44going until you hit 500 meters. And literally, that was the key.
- 1:00:48Like I swam. Wow, 500 meters freestyle,
- 1:00:52nonstop, as slow as I could and and then at the end of that he
- 1:00:55said swim 100 meters as fast as you can.
- 1:00:59And the only difference between 100 meters as fast as I could
- 1:01:02and as slow as I could was hardly any time difference.
- 1:01:05It was all energy expenditure. My gosh, you know, that's a gold
- 1:01:09nugget right there. Yeah.
- 1:01:11Did you hear that guys? I mean, my my niece swam to 1
- 1:01:15rot nest. And you know what?
- 1:01:18What the Yogi always believes too?
- 1:01:21That nothing great happens in a rush.
- 1:01:23So it's interesting that you kind of like really go slow for
- 1:01:29that, you know, first initial climb and then you get to the
- 1:01:35last. 100 metres and you go like the clappers.
- 1:01:39So yeah, I like that. That's so cool.
- 1:01:43And you know, listening to that too makes sense because I love
- 1:01:48working out the psychology behind people's.
- 1:01:52You know what they what they are actually giving to their clients
- 1:01:57through the program. And I noticed that what you just
- 1:02:00described, like swimming being something that you really love
- 1:02:05and that you love doing, and the fact that that's something that
- 1:02:09you value right, is truly an aspect of the next module that I
- 1:02:17believe connects into aligning your life with your values.
- 1:02:22So you can be living on purpose. I told you, you don't need to
- 1:02:25look at any notes because I have all your Nuggets here.
- 1:02:31You've told me you've given me your, you know, your secret
- 1:02:35source. So talk, talk us through, you
- 1:02:40know, the way that you really help people to align their
- 1:02:46values and what's so important about that.
- 1:02:49Yeah, Okay values is one of my favorite things because it's
- 1:02:51literally what really matters to you?
- 1:02:53What do you value in life and what do you truly value from
- 1:02:57your inner self, from your heart?
- 1:03:00And so the way that I help people elicit this is we all
- 1:03:04know what we love. And so that's the first element
- 1:03:07is like complete the statement. I love to, I love to.
- 1:03:11You know, for me it was like I love to swim in the ocean.
- 1:03:13I love to spend time with family and friends.
- 1:03:15I love to feel healthy and energized.
- 1:03:17I love to be present with my love.
- 1:03:20I love to read personal growth and human potential books.
- 1:03:23So it's just keep going. I love, I love, I love and
- 1:03:26writing all the things that you love, that you love to do, that
- 1:03:29you love to feel that you love to hear that you love to eat,
- 1:03:32etcetera. And that's just getting really
- 1:03:34connected with, you know, the things that you love in life.
- 1:03:38That's a really great place to start.
- 1:03:41And then it's like step by step. It's like how do we feel?
- 1:03:47You know, I look around with, this is from Dr. De Martini,
- 1:03:50actually, because he is the values legend.
- 1:03:52And so I've taken a lot from him because it makes so much sense
- 1:03:55when you look around your space at work and at home and at work,
- 1:03:59what do you have there that that lights you up?
- 1:04:02What do you have? What do you make space for in
- 1:04:04your home and what really matters to you?
- 1:04:06And what sits there gathering dust that you think you want
- 1:04:09that perhaps doesn't really mean anything to you at all, or that
- 1:04:12you have there to look at, but you don't use doesn't have any
- 1:04:15meaning or importance. So we start to really drill down
- 1:04:18and then how do you spend your time?
- 1:04:20Where do you make time? What do you make time for?
- 1:04:24How do we choose to spend our time?
- 1:04:25Our time is finite. So you know, for me, one of the
- 1:04:28realizations was that in that story I was telling earlier is
- 1:04:32that my highest value is family or my second highest apart from
- 1:04:35health and Wellness. And I was spending time in
- 1:04:38family, but it wasn't creating my own family.
- 1:04:41It was spending the time in other people's families.
- 1:04:44And so I was being fulfilled in that need, but my greatest
- 1:04:48desire was to create my own family.
- 1:04:50So it's where we can also start to see where we're getting those
- 1:04:54needs met, but not in the way that's aligned with our vision.
- 1:04:57And so it really helps to pull apart what's going on on the
- 1:05:01inside. Also, where do we spend our
- 1:05:03energy and where do you spend your money?
- 1:05:05What do you make important enough, you know, to spend your
- 1:05:09money on etcetera. And so you know the the evidence
- 1:05:12is all around us. It's just starting to pull it in
- 1:05:15and make many from it understand how it's benefiting you, how it
- 1:05:18isn't. And so this is a process in the
- 1:05:20program that people do on their own, you know, through me asking
- 1:05:23the journaling questions. But when I'm one to one
- 1:05:28coaching, we go really deep on this.
- 1:05:30You know, we can go really deep and start to see how to make.
- 1:05:34Yeah, you know, I I have to applaud you, Nikki, because
- 1:05:38you've just given possibly one of the greatest gold Nuggets on
- 1:05:43how a person can tap into their values, because quite often this
- 1:05:50is a really hard subject to teach on.
- 1:05:53And you know, how do you get people to really tap into their
- 1:05:57values? Now you've just given a really
- 1:05:59powerful clue. Say I love first.
- 1:06:02If you say I love, I love to dance.
- 1:06:05I love to walk in the park with my dog.
- 1:06:08I love to meet up and, you know, really just be that person and
- 1:06:15impact people's lives, You know, what do you.
- 1:06:18I love, you know, drinking alcohol.
- 1:06:22Obviously that is one that you want to try and change if that's
- 1:06:26the case, but you know, what do you love and and and even when
- 1:06:30it is something negative like that, like if it is something
- 1:06:33like I love drinking alcohol or I love eating food, then what
- 1:06:39you've got to do is what the way you could swing that around
- 1:06:42because that's that's just that's really powerful, Nikki.
- 1:06:45I love that because it's sort of showing me too that you can go
- 1:06:49well. What is it that you love that
- 1:06:52you thought you that alcohol was giving you, you know, And then
- 1:06:56yeah, if it is that that person thought it was giving them some
- 1:07:00kind of a freedom, then it's not the alcohol they love, it's the
- 1:07:03freedom. So there's I can switch it
- 1:07:05around to I love freedom. If it's about the food and I
- 1:07:09love eating food and they're being honest with themself,
- 1:07:12well, we know that that's just a habit and it's not necessary.
- 1:07:16It's only good when you're doing it in the right way.
- 1:07:19So if you're overeating, you can be asking yourself, well, what
- 1:07:23is that food that you think that you're loving giving you?
- 1:07:27And if it is fulfillment, which I know is one of your values
- 1:07:30because you teach and preach about that, well, it's not the.
- 1:07:34The food or the love of food, it's the love of it's that
- 1:07:37fulfillment. And then you can be asking
- 1:07:40yourself, what can I do to fulfill myself?
- 1:07:42So that is gold. And you know, that is a huge
- 1:07:48clue to our listeners. Just in right there.
- 1:07:53So if you didn't write that down, guys, write it down and
- 1:07:57get crystal clear. And Speaking of getting crystal
- 1:08:00clear, we're getting close to, you know, where the rubber hits
- 1:08:05the road here. But Module 3 is all about the
- 1:08:09law of vibration. And awakening the energetic and
- 1:08:15the gold nugget that I heard you sedate here about this module is
- 1:08:21that it helps make life decisions.
- 1:08:26Would you like to really talk us through this Laura vibration
- 1:08:32that maybe a lot of us find a little bit woo woo and what it
- 1:08:36really means and and how that can help people to?
- 1:08:41Awaken their energy and make life decisions.
- 1:08:45Yeah, OK, so energy is just such a huge one for me.
- 1:08:48I just think, well, everything in the world is energy.
- 1:08:52I mean, this has been proven. And you know, matter is energy
- 1:08:56in dense form, so energy is everything.
- 1:09:01Energy levels within us. So understanding how to raise
- 1:09:06your vibration and bring you know and actually what tops you
- 1:09:10up and what takes away from you, what gives you energy and what
- 1:09:13drains you energy. So we drill down here into
- 1:09:15understanding more about yourself.
- 1:09:18This is all journey within. And you know another way to
- 1:09:24understand energy is like our thoughts, our beliefs and our
- 1:09:27emotions all create an energy vibration in the world.
- 1:09:30Like, we all know what it's felt like to walk into a room where
- 1:09:34somebody's angry or upset, you know, the elephant in the room
- 1:09:39experience. We've all felt energy and we are
- 1:09:43carrying our state of energy around with us always.
- 1:09:46And that's what's bumping into everybody else's.
- 1:09:48So it's another area in balance and boundaries too.
- 1:09:51But the way that we really step that I take people into their
- 1:09:55understanding their energy and transforming their energy so
- 1:09:57they can transform their life is seeing questions like what gives
- 1:10:02you energy and what drains your energy.
- 1:10:05So we can start to really think about those things and what
- 1:10:07people give you energy and what people drain your energy and
- 1:10:12just start to be bringing an awareness into your life about
- 1:10:15how your energy is being expended.
- 1:10:17And is this by choice or not by choice, and is that how you want
- 1:10:21it to be or not? So it's another place where you
- 1:10:24can become aware of this on an energetic level.
- 1:10:26One, you're getting more connected to your whole being.
- 1:10:29And two, you can start to see where you're giving away your
- 1:10:33energy, where perhaps you don't choose to.
- 1:10:38And also, one of the next question is what lights you up.
- 1:10:41Being lit up is an energetic experience from the inside, so
- 1:10:45you know what lets you up, what makes your heart sing, what
- 1:10:47makes you happy, what makes you joyful, what puts you in that
- 1:10:51state of presence and flow and creativity where you forget
- 1:10:54about time. So that's also energetic.
- 1:10:59And then, you know, I asked questions like if you were in
- 1:11:01the next 48 hours, given time off from your work and your kids
- 1:11:06and given thousands of dollars, what would you go and do with
- 1:11:09that? Like, you know, it's
- 1:11:11spontaneously dropped in on you here's, you know, one week with
- 1:11:15all the money that you want, free time, Where in the world
- 1:11:17would you like to go and what would you like to do?
- 1:11:19And when people had, like, dropped into that spontaneity
- 1:11:23question, it's like where that's when their true desires are
- 1:11:27coming forth. You know, that what lights them
- 1:11:29up drops in really quickly. Because for some people that's,
- 1:11:33you know, understanding that they're an introvert and they
- 1:11:36want to go and curl up on a couch somewhere with a log fire
- 1:11:38and be in their own space and just be by themselves and get
- 1:11:41their energy topping up that way.
- 1:11:44Other people like to go and be in community.
- 1:11:46Other people like to, you know, go and have a lush holiday
- 1:11:50skiing or swimming in the ocean somewhere beautiful or a yoga
- 1:11:53retreat going within. So it's really getting to know
- 1:11:56what fills your cup from an energetic point of view and
- 1:12:02getting to understand what are the self-care practices that you
- 1:12:04need in your life to top up your energy.
- 1:12:07Because filling your cup is really being topped up
- 1:12:10energetically, being topped up on, you know, food, rest, sleep,
- 1:12:16all the things that matter and that make you feel topped up.
- 1:12:21So yeah, so raising your vibration is really
- 1:12:23understanding how to manage your energy.
- 1:12:27Be aware of your energy and and feel it flow, ebb and flow,
- 1:12:32yeah. And that's Module 3, everyone.
- 1:12:36So you know, this is pretty close to, you know when you're
- 1:12:41coming in and you're doing a deep dive and getting through
- 1:12:44all the Muddy Waters and then getting into that space where
- 1:12:50you're suddenly moving into your own vibration.
- 1:12:53And I love that you also bring a lot of the practical application
- 1:12:58here, Nikki. So it's not just the.
- 1:13:00Woo, woo side of it. But it's also helping that
- 1:13:03person that's kind of rationalizing things to
- 1:13:07understand, you know, energy, like where do you feel your
- 1:13:12best? What are you doing?
- 1:13:14And I had all these kind of visions when you were taking me
- 1:13:17there of driving like a black convertible sports car and then
- 1:13:23and then being in the jungle and and and just kind of being me in
- 1:13:28that beautiful spiritual space. Of, you know, being with people
- 1:13:32and connecting with people. So it's amazing how having a
- 1:13:36facilitator that talks you through just listening to these
- 1:13:41podcasts. And please subscribe and share
- 1:13:45if you're enjoying this. And give us a review, because
- 1:13:50these are, you know, really powerful, informative gold
- 1:13:56Nuggets. Right there, even before you're
- 1:13:59jumping into the program itself. But of course, you know, we also
- 1:14:06then need to navigate through the Muddy Waters, and in Module
- 1:14:092, it's the crystal clear clarity of your true inner self
- 1:14:15being your identity. Would you like to really speak
- 1:14:22on this topic from that point of perhaps?
- 1:14:26How people don't have much crystal clear clarity really,
- 1:14:30and how they don't have that concept of who their true self
- 1:14:35is. And you know what this module
- 1:14:39does to really switch and help that person to become the true
- 1:14:45identity that aligns with their higher self.
- 1:14:51Yes. OK.
- 1:14:52So in Module 2 we go into to set a destiny intention, which is
- 1:15:00getting really clear about which area of your life you'd like to
- 1:15:03work on throughout the eight week program.
- 1:15:06And this helps really ground in because the idea is when we find
- 1:15:12the core area that means the most to us, it will have the
- 1:15:16biggest ricocheting effect out through our entire life.
- 1:15:20So we journey within to choose an area of focus that matters
- 1:15:28the most. What is your deepest yearning?
- 1:15:31Which area in your life do you deeply yearn to create?
- 1:15:34So for example, somebody might come into the program, you know,
- 1:15:38really wanting to grow their business and focus on that.
- 1:15:41But what they uncover in this first, in the first module and
- 1:15:45that journey deeply within is that what they're really, deeply
- 1:15:48yearning for is to meet the partner of their life, you know,
- 1:15:51their their life partner who they truly connect with.
- 1:15:53And that is the deepest journey deeper than growing the
- 1:15:57business, you know, but it's been pushed aside because of the
- 1:16:00to want to grow the business for example.
- 1:16:02So we go into a deep meditation that goes within and what is
- 1:16:08really missing? What are you really yearning for
- 1:16:11from the inside out. And this is the place where we
- 1:16:14can choose to work font work in. And then we and then I ask
- 1:16:19questions about, you know, how do you most desire to feel in
- 1:16:23this area And we just dropped really into that specific area.
- 1:16:26So everyone can be working on somewhere different on this
- 1:16:29journey. So it might be relationship or
- 1:16:31your business or your health and Wellness.
- 1:16:34There's space for you to be working on because we're working
- 1:16:36from the essence and the core of our being so.
- 1:16:40And it's understanding that that that deepest yearning is often
- 1:16:43the one that's being pushed to the side.
- 1:16:45Because you're trying to do life and, you know, keep up with the
- 1:16:48Joneses and create the life that and the vision that you think
- 1:16:51you want. But actually, you know what is
- 1:16:53it without that partner maybe or what is it without that health,
- 1:16:57You know, if you don't have your health, how are you going to be
- 1:16:59able to enjoy what you're creating otherwise?
- 1:17:01And so often people really uncover here an area that they
- 1:17:05have been ignoring that's been too hard basket that's that they
- 1:17:09don't believe they're worthy of in some way or another.
- 1:17:12And so this is a safe place to really feel that, uncover that
- 1:17:16and and go let's let's lean into that area for this journey.
- 1:17:21Wow, I love that. I love what you said on how that
- 1:17:26takes them into the inner core of their essence, of their true
- 1:17:32self. I believe that that really just
- 1:17:36went in. Did you feel that going guys?
- 1:17:39Like, could you feel, you know, Nikki's words?
- 1:17:42Just kind of like. Diving right into the center of
- 1:17:47your being and just bringing that out in you so you can
- 1:17:53become crystal clear about who you are.
- 1:17:57Wow. Absolutely love it.
- 1:17:59And look, you know, the fact is that we know.
- 1:18:03You know and I know that when people come to see us, they've
- 1:18:09got a problem. Like, that is what this is all
- 1:18:12about. And we're always going to have a
- 1:18:14problem. And I feel that, you know, when
- 1:18:17you've got enlightened people like you and I who really value
- 1:18:24personal development, really value our spiritual higher
- 1:18:29selves, you know, we're going to continue to have problems.
- 1:18:32This is not about being perfect. Like my problem's just new
- 1:18:37level, new devil, you know? So it's it's not like.
- 1:18:40We're perfect. But you know, wherever you are
- 1:18:43right now, what Nikki is really doing is she's taking you on a
- 1:18:48journey so you can break through what you are, where you are now,
- 1:18:53so you can move into that next plane, so you can shift and you
- 1:19:00know everything she's spoken about from the top.
- 1:19:04Of where you are quite an enlightened person and your
- 1:19:07talents and your gifts. And you know your intuition and
- 1:19:12you know your boundaries, your vibration, your clarity and
- 1:19:17everything is is really coming through.
- 1:19:20Well, this is the what I call the reality check.
- 1:19:26And it it's the first module, it is the breakthrough module.
- 1:19:31It is uncovering who you are but getting through those Muddy
- 1:19:36Waters, breaking through the inner barrier on your discovery
- 1:19:42of self. So let's hear from you, the
- 1:19:48authority, on breaking through these barriers.
- 1:19:53Into the journey of self discovery.
- 1:19:56Talk us through this and what what we can do right here and
- 1:20:01now. So this is the area about
- 1:20:06breaking through, uncovering and seeing your inner barriers.
- 1:20:10So that place where you've been feeling stuck, you know where
- 1:20:14you have those repeating patterns and self sabotage in
- 1:20:17your life and you know it keeps happening and you do everything
- 1:20:20you can to use all your willpower to overcome things.
- 1:20:24So what we do is we really drill down the three main areas for
- 1:20:30women that we get, that we have those inner barriers are around.
- 1:20:38I'm not visible, I'm not enough and I'm and I am alone and
- 1:20:45they're the three main ones. So in the program we work with
- 1:20:48these and we want to uncover what they actually, you know how
- 1:20:55we're heading up against them. And they're an invisible
- 1:20:57barrier. Until we start looking at these
- 1:20:59pieces through the questions that I guide you through you, we
- 1:21:04we can't see it. And until we can see it, we
- 1:21:06can't transform it and break through it.
- 1:21:08And so understanding which of those patterns and sometimes
- 1:21:12it's all three and the elements within them are playing out from
- 1:21:16you for you. That's where we need to look and
- 1:21:20really do the work uncovering those self limiting beliefs.
- 1:21:25And and because this is the lens that we're looking at life
- 1:21:28through, we're looking at life through this lens of the
- 1:21:31limiting beliefs that have been created since childhood.
- 1:21:34Like I think we've all experienced that.
- 1:21:36And so we have a belief that's either supportive or negative
- 1:21:39and either sabotaging or supportive and that that's the
- 1:21:44belief then is what creates the decisions that we make in life.
- 1:21:49And so then the decisions, we look at those and they're either
- 1:21:52going towards or away from our goals.
- 1:21:54And often we're making these actions and decisions around
- 1:21:57away from our goals for fear and safety.
- 1:22:00And when we can start to uncover those, we can start to see how
- 1:22:04we're doing that and how to build the courage and the
- 1:22:07presence to be able to choose wisely how you want to choose to
- 1:22:11move in the direction with your with your vision and your
- 1:22:14boundaries and your energy in into your into your best life.
- 1:22:19So then you know our decisions create our actions or our
- 1:22:22inactions and our results is what we're looking for like to
- 1:22:25you know, what do we want to create in our life.
- 1:22:27So we drill down on each of those three main inner barriers
- 1:22:32and that's actually that it it's actually Module 4 that we do
- 1:22:35that. So we've done this kind of deep
- 1:22:37dive first into our self because we want to see what our true
- 1:22:40desires are. And then we say, OK, what's
- 1:22:42stopping us? What's actually happens in that
- 1:22:45area of your life? What actually happens, you know,
- 1:22:49when you go to create there, what?
- 1:22:51So we drill right down into what actually happens and then we can
- 1:22:55see which pattern is playing out for us.
- 1:22:57And you know, my 1:00 to 1:00 coaching program is where we do
- 1:23:00some deep processes, matrix therapies, clearing negative
- 1:23:04influences from your childhood where you can on a subconscious
- 1:23:08level and with your inner child in a really positive, beautiful
- 1:23:11journey can start to unravel and change those those underlying
- 1:23:18beliefs that are preventing you from creating what you want in
- 1:23:21life. And it's through no fault of
- 1:23:22your own. They were always created for a
- 1:23:24really important purpose, to keep you safe in the life you
- 1:23:27know. And so that's part of the
- 1:23:29Together We Rise journey is that we're in such a safe container
- 1:23:32that we can explore these things without any shame or guilt.
- 1:23:36We can explore them with absolute open hearts and minds
- 1:23:39and just see that we're all doing it in some way or another.
- 1:23:42That we all have these inner barriers.
- 1:23:45And that when we can see them, you know the the week once we've
- 1:23:49started to really see them in in a specific way they're playing
- 1:23:51out in our lives. Then that week between the
- 1:23:55sessions of the program is to really notice all the times
- 1:24:00you're doing the behavior that's playing out that that inner
- 1:24:03barrier and and that's where the power is for women.
- 1:24:06We need to see it. We need to see it so clearly to
- 1:24:09be able to change it because we're playing our role.
- 1:24:12Everything that's happening in our life isn't happening to us.
- 1:24:15It's happening for us is one of you know, and this is we, we are
- 1:24:19playing the other side. So even if you're in a toxic
- 1:24:21relationship, you still have to be playing the other side of
- 1:24:25that that role which is not standing in your own personal
- 1:24:28power to be able to have that experience.
- 1:24:32And so when we start to grow and change ourself out of those
- 1:24:35patterns into an empowered self and empowered human being
- 1:24:39without playing those roles, you know, we can see that, that
- 1:24:44we're playing a role. You know, you feel like this is
- 1:24:46happening to me. That person is doing something,
- 1:24:48You know, for me it was again, it was, you know, around my
- 1:24:53sister and she can't see and she this and she that and she this.
- 1:24:56And it's like, well, how, what role am I playing in that?
- 1:24:59How am I being invisible? How am I abandoning myself and
- 1:25:02allowing that to happen? Nobody's intentionally
- 1:25:07destroying anyone or or doing anything wrong by anyone that
- 1:25:10they literally protecting their own self.
- 1:25:13Everybody's running their own show and absolutely.
- 1:25:17And I I remember because I heard you're a Doctor D Martini person
- 1:25:22as well and you do a little bit of his stuff and and I've done
- 1:25:26his, I did his certification back in 2008 and I remember him
- 1:25:31saying, are you going to be the master of your destiny?
- 1:25:37Or the victim of your history. And this is really what Nikki is
- 1:25:45talking about, because we all have those life experiences
- 1:25:51where we really need to tap into what we're saying to ourself,
- 1:25:58what we do need to break through.
- 1:26:00And you can hear here how you can break through where you are
- 1:26:06at. And not only that, but rise
- 1:26:10together in a community that you'll be held in with this
- 1:26:16beautiful lady. Because you know, Nikki, this
- 1:26:20community that you've got and this program that obviously is,
- 1:26:26you know, we always bring in the timeless, ever evolving
- 1:26:30programs. That we know.
- 1:26:32If somebody's looking and listening to this in five years
- 1:26:35from now, they're gonna know exactly who you are, what you're
- 1:26:39about and what your values are. And that is what I'm completely
- 1:26:44dedicated to and I am so, so incredibly impressed with what
- 1:26:51you are giving to the world. So I'd like to ask you, do you
- 1:26:56have any last words? Mottos, philosophies that you
- 1:27:03would like to share before we close down?
- 1:27:07Sure. Yeah.
- 1:27:08So really my biggest motto and philosophy around this time is
- 1:27:14that it's time. It's the time for the feminine
- 1:27:17to rise. And that doesn't necessarily
- 1:27:19mean men, Not women, not men. We all have the masculine and
- 1:27:23feminine within each and everyone of us.
- 1:27:26And so now is the time for feminine empowerment to rise up
- 1:27:32and for the divine feminine to meet the sacred masculine.
- 1:27:35I believe within us, within our families, our culture, our
- 1:27:39countries and the world. And I believe that this balance
- 1:27:43will restore the planet and humanity and we will become
- 1:27:48heaven on earth basically. I totally believe together we
- 1:27:52rise. Together we rise.
- 1:27:55And my programs are for women currently.
- 1:27:57But I know I'll be working for men as this builds momentum and
- 1:28:01working with men because it's about the change and the
- 1:28:05balance, the rise of the feminine to make this sacred
- 1:28:07masculine. And you know, the Dalai Lama
- 1:28:10prophesized that Western women will change the world.
- 1:28:13And I believe he's talking about because we are in the the seat
- 1:28:18of possibility and potential to bring this forth.
- 1:28:21And I think that the coaching industry has the most incredible
- 1:28:25power in terms of we can't, we can't become ourselves by
- 1:28:31ourselves, holding space for each other and being in that
- 1:28:35place where it's safe to explore and unfold and really shine your
- 1:28:39unique light in the world. If we all are just doing what we
- 1:28:42came here to do, the world will be in balance.
- 1:28:44So. Wow, my message.
