- 0:25Speaker 1: Hi, and welcome back to Pinky Boo Hauntings. I'll be
- 0:28Speaker 1: your witchy host Shy, and I'll be your guide to
- 0:31Speaker 1: all things paranormal, weird and spooky. Like I promised last week,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I've got some lighter stories this time around. Well, at
- 0:41Speaker 1: least two seem to be lighter by the titles. First
- 0:45Speaker 1: one may or may not be someone touching a cursed item,
- 0:50Speaker 1: So why don't we get right into it and see
- 0:53Speaker 1: what they did? This story is called Strange Things Happening
- 0:59Speaker 1: after finding Object on Beach. Just at the beginning of
- 1:04Speaker 1: the beach head, there is a stretch of large rocks
- 1:08Speaker 1: that break up the waves just before you get.
- 1:11Speaker 2: To the actual beach.
- 1:13Speaker 1: About a month ago, my wife and I decided to
- 1:16Speaker 1: check out the old World War two bunkers littering the
- 1:19Speaker 1: coastline of Warden Point, and for anyone looking for some
- 1:23Speaker 1: good exploration and fossil hunting, it's really good and might
- 1:29Speaker 1: be a good place to find cursed objects if you're
- 1:32Speaker 1: into that kind of thing for some reason. However, on
- 1:38Speaker 1: the way back to the car coming back from the
- 1:40Speaker 1: large rocks, we were playing around, jumping over the stones
- 1:44Speaker 1: and trying not to fall when my wife noticed a
- 1:49Speaker 1: bunch of sticks and rope near an opening of a
- 1:52Speaker 1: few of the big rocks. When she looked down, she
- 1:56Speaker 1: saw the stone child's head. Looks like it's been broken
- 1:59Speaker 1: off of a garden ornament. Anyways, it looked like many
- 2:05Speaker 1: people had tried to get it out, and let me
- 2:08Speaker 1: tell you, it took us around three to four hours
- 2:11Speaker 1: trying to get it out, and since we were a
- 2:14Speaker 1: few hours away from home, I couldn't just pop back
- 2:17Speaker 1: for stuff to get it out. Why would you try
- 2:22Speaker 1: to fish it out for three to four hours? I
- 2:25Speaker 1: was kind of joking before, but maybe it really is
- 2:28Speaker 1: cursed because it's almost like it's pulling you towards it.
- 2:33Speaker 2: But why.
- 2:36Speaker 1: I eventually got it out by slipping my leg down
- 2:39Speaker 1: the hole and picking it up with my foot and
- 2:41Speaker 1: my wife propping it up with a stick, then me
- 2:44Speaker 1: taking my jumper off and slipping my arm in to
- 2:47Speaker 1: grab it. You are doing way too much work for
- 2:51Speaker 1: a broken lawn ornament. There is definitely something possessing you
- 2:56Speaker 1: to do this. Hopefully it's not going to actually try
- 2:59Speaker 1: and put this you though. I just want to make
- 3:04Speaker 1: it clear that I don't believe in anything supernatural and
- 3:08Speaker 1: fully believe those sorts of things to be mostly hoaxes
- 3:12Speaker 1: and just plain explainable. However, I can't ignore the strange
- 3:16Speaker 1: things that have been happening to me and my wife
- 3:20Speaker 1: since having this object. I always love when someone starts
- 3:26Speaker 1: off by saying they don't believe in the paranormal and
- 3:29Speaker 1: then basically end up saying they believe in the par normal.
- 3:33Speaker 1: I get it can be a hard thing to wrap
- 3:35Speaker 1: your mind around, but that doesn't.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Mean it's not real.
- 3:41Speaker 1: This could just be I'm hyper aware of things happening
- 3:45Speaker 1: because it's in my mind. But here's the things that
- 3:48Speaker 1: have happened so far. A hand I used to retrieve
- 3:52Speaker 1: the object. I've burt my wrists slipping off a motorway divider,
- 3:59Speaker 1: never broke a bone until now, and can send proof
- 4:03Speaker 1: for glass face we keep on top of the fridge,
- 4:06Speaker 1: been there for years. Fell off when my wife was
- 4:09Speaker 1: bending over to get something from underneath the sink and
- 4:13Speaker 1: it just missed her head. I woke up a few
- 4:17Speaker 1: nights ago and my back door was wide open. I
- 4:21Speaker 1: triple checked the doors always due to the place I live.
- 4:26Speaker 1: My washing machine I have the one where you can
- 4:29Speaker 1: open the top mid spin to put the socks and
- 4:32Speaker 1: stuff in the top bit has been pressed open at
- 4:37Speaker 1: least twice on its own while I've been chilling in
- 4:41Speaker 1: my living room, and you really need to press it in.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Am I being stupid? What is being pressed in? And
- 4:50Speaker 1: how did you know it was being pressed in if.
- 4:53Speaker 2: You were in the room.
- 4:55Speaker 1: I'm not really sure what that one is talking about.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Can someone helped me out? Anyways, let's get back to
- 5:02Speaker 1: the list things missing them reappearing. My kid has told
- 5:08Speaker 1: me that he keeps losing his stuff and it keeps
- 5:11Speaker 1: spawning in random places. I tell him it's his grandmother
- 5:15Speaker 1: playing with them, but I guess that's just a kid
- 5:19Speaker 1: forgetting where they put their stuff. But it's weird.
- 5:22Speaker 2: It's happening now. I'm sorry.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Is grandma dad or does she live with you? The
- 5:30Speaker 1: most concerning thing to me is my wife and I
- 5:33Speaker 1: for a few nights now have heard the doors opening
- 5:37Speaker 1: at night, the bedroom ones in the living room, but
- 5:42Speaker 1: we have cameras and nothing has been opened, just the
- 5:46Speaker 1: noise as if someone is opening it and them walking
- 5:49Speaker 1: through it. Should I just take this thing back? Or
- 5:53Speaker 1: is my anxiety just getting to me?
- 5:56Speaker 2: Dude?
- 5:57Speaker 1: Even if this thing isn't cursed or haunted. I'd say
- 6:00Speaker 1: put it back just in case. But let's be clear.
- 6:05Speaker 1: I do think it's either haunted, curse, or an offering
- 6:09Speaker 1: to maybe a water spirit. Whatever the case, you're either
- 6:14Speaker 1: being haunted by a piste off spirit or cursed.
- 6:17Speaker 2: So take it back and never.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Take strange things from the ocean again, or really anybody
- 6:24Speaker 1: of water.
- 6:25Speaker 2: It's not worth it. Also, just tomit. You believe in
- 6:30Speaker 2: the supernatural, It's okay, all right.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Why don't we move on from this cursed object and
- 6:37Speaker 1: see what's going on in our next story? This one
- 6:40Speaker 1: is my dad bought a dress from my daughter, but
- 6:44Speaker 1: my daughter was born five years after my dad died.
- 6:48Speaker 1: I'm not sure I believe in the paranormal. Damn, two
- 6:53Speaker 1: people in a row that don't believe in the paranormal,
- 6:55Speaker 1: and once again we're gonna hear how they definitely experienced
- 6:59Speaker 1: the pair of normal. I didn't mean to do this,
- 7:03Speaker 1: but here we are. But this experience is something that
- 7:09Speaker 1: I think of often. But this experience is something that
- 7:13Speaker 1: I think of often, and I would like to share it.
- 7:17Speaker 1: My dad had me at seventy Damn. Sorry, I thought
- 7:23Speaker 1: my dad was old when they had me and he
- 7:26Speaker 1: was only like thirty seven, I think, but seventy as
- 7:34Speaker 1: unusual as that is.
- 7:36Speaker 2: So.
- 7:37Speaker 1: When I was twenty, he was ninety. He was sick
- 7:40Speaker 1: and in bed, and we knew he was going to
- 7:43Speaker 1: die soon. I used to visit him every day and
- 7:48Speaker 1: stay with him all morning. At the time, his memory
- 7:53Speaker 1: wasn't very good. He mixed up names and faces a lot.
- 7:58Speaker 1: A week before he died, he told me a while ago,
- 8:01Speaker 1: he bought me a dress and asked me to look
- 8:05Speaker 1: inside his closet. His wife came to help me. My
- 8:10Speaker 1: dad told us where to look, and we found a
- 8:12Speaker 1: baby dress sighs three to six months. I told him
- 8:17Speaker 1: he must have bought this for one of his grandchildren
- 8:20Speaker 1: or a gift for someone else. He insisted that I
- 8:24Speaker 1: have to take it. He kept saying it's for her,
- 8:28Speaker 1: it's for her, take it, which at the time I
- 8:32Speaker 1: thought meant that it was for me, referring to me
- 8:36Speaker 1: as her, as he maybe didn't know who he.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Was talking to that day.
- 8:43Speaker 1: I told him multiple times that this dress was not
- 8:46Speaker 1: for me.
- 8:47Speaker 2: He refused to listen.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Ah, this is not how I expected this story to go.
- 8:56Speaker 1: I took it home and never saw it again. I
- 8:59Speaker 1: probably shoved it in some drawer and forgot about it.
- 9:03Speaker 1: My dad died, I moved out, I got married. Years past,
- 9:09Speaker 1: my daughter was three months old. I opened the closet
- 9:12Speaker 1: to pick out her outfit for the day, and the
- 9:15Speaker 1: dress was waiting there, folded, ready and still with the
- 9:20Speaker 1: label on. Now this is how I thought the story
- 9:23Speaker 1: was going to turn out. Our cleaning lady said she
- 9:29Speaker 1: found it somewhere in the room and put it in there.
- 9:32Speaker 1: I honestly don't know where she could have found it,
- 9:35Speaker 1: as last time I saw it it was literally five
- 9:39Speaker 1: years ago. It's even stranger that the dress only showed
- 9:44Speaker 1: up when she was already three months, which was the
- 9:48Speaker 1: dress's size. I was the one who packed everything when
- 9:53Speaker 1: I moved out of my mom's house, and I was
- 9:56Speaker 1: the one that packed everything again when we renovated with
- 9:59Speaker 1: my husband. Never saw the dress apart from the day
- 10:04Speaker 1: my dad gave.
- 10:04Speaker 2: It to me. And I know it might be foolish.
- 10:09Speaker 1: But I think it was her. As insane as it
- 10:12Speaker 1: may sound, I think the dress was for my daughter.
- 10:18Speaker 1: You're not insane. That dress was for sure for your daughter.
- 10:23Speaker 1: I don't know if someone from the other side told
- 10:25Speaker 1: your dad or if he just knew, but he somehow
- 10:31Speaker 1: knew you were going to have a daughter and knew
- 10:34Speaker 1: he wouldn't be there to see her. So he did
- 10:37Speaker 1: the next best thing. Gave you that dress before he
- 10:40Speaker 1: died and hoped to keep it for when she came.
- 10:43Speaker 1: So when you lost track of it, he came through
- 10:46Speaker 1: to make sure she had it. Oh you know, I
- 10:50Speaker 1: wasn't thinking about this, but what if her spirit came
- 10:53Speaker 1: through to him and told him she was your future
- 10:57Speaker 1: daughter and his future grandchild. Either way, he knew who
- 11:01Speaker 1: that dress was for and made sure she got her
- 11:04Speaker 1: gift from him. It's kind of sweet that even after death,
- 11:10Speaker 1: he's still trying to spoil his grandchild and proves he's
- 11:14Speaker 1: watching over you all. Well, it seems we're going from
- 11:21Speaker 1: one grandpa to another. Let's get on to our next story.
- 11:25Speaker 1: It's my grandpa. Didn't know he was dead. About ten
- 11:31Speaker 1: or so months ago, my grandfather died. It was a
- 11:35Speaker 1: sudden death that resulted in.
- 11:37Speaker 2: A car crash. He never knew what happened.
- 11:41Speaker 1: About two weeks or so later, I had a dream
- 11:45Speaker 1: he was sitting at his kitchen table.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Saw me and asked, where am I What's going on?
- 11:54Speaker 1: I looked at him and said, you're dead.
- 11:58Speaker 2: He responded with.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Oh, egger, He didn't really seem too surprised by the news.
- 12:06Speaker 1: All right, listen, it's not funny, but it's kind of funny.
- 12:10Speaker 1: At the same time, he probably knew on some level,
- 12:14Speaker 1: but it's still a crazy response to you telling him
- 12:18Speaker 1: he's dead.
- 12:19Speaker 2: Just hogay.
- 12:21Speaker 1: He went on to say that he keeps seeing this
- 12:23Speaker 1: white light and that he doesn't know what it is,
- 12:27Speaker 1: but that it keeps calling to him. That it's a
- 12:30Speaker 1: good place where his brother and mother are, that it's
- 12:34Speaker 1: peaceful and full of love, that they're waiting for him
- 12:39Speaker 1: and would very much like to see him again. But
- 12:42Speaker 1: then I told him in a very important way that
- 12:46Speaker 1: it was his choice. He didn't have to go and
- 12:50Speaker 1: could wait as long as he wanted. He thought about
- 12:54Speaker 1: it for a moment and said he was gonna wait.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Awhile I cried and he started to make himself a
- 13:03Speaker 1: comfortable home. Then I woke up. I truly believe I
- 13:08Speaker 1: got to communicate with him after he died, and that
- 13:12Speaker 1: he needed me to tell him that he had died.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Maybe he didn't need to hear it from someone else
- 13:20Speaker 1: before he could accept it. I mean a sudden death
- 13:25Speaker 1: like that. He probably wasn't fully sure where he was.
- 13:30Speaker 1: I do wonder what he's waiting on. Is it you
- 13:33Speaker 1: or maybe your parent or his wife? At least he's
- 13:39Speaker 1: more at peace and not confused, just enjoying his time
- 13:44Speaker 1: in his home while he waits on whoever it is
- 13:47Speaker 1: he's waiting on. For our next story, I'm not even
- 13:52Speaker 1: sure where it will be going, so let's just get
- 13:55Speaker 1: into it. This one is called Lake Tahoe. I was
- 13:59Speaker 1: working in Lake Talp. I wanna say Tahoe that fuck
- 14:04Speaker 1: Southern God.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Dang it.
- 14:07Speaker 1: I was working in Lake Tahoe on a conservation crew
- 14:11Speaker 1: doing fuels reduction in fire hazard mitigation on a chainsaw crew.
- 14:17Speaker 1: We had a designated campground from Forest Service for US
- 14:21Speaker 1: at spoon Or Lake near Carson City. This was day
- 14:26Speaker 1: one of our eight day work week, so eight days on,
- 14:30Speaker 1: six days off. After a long day of falling trees
- 14:35Speaker 1: and using a chipper and incline village, we set up
- 14:39Speaker 1: camp and made dinner. I then go for a walk
- 14:44Speaker 1: down on the trail in front of our campsite and
- 14:47Speaker 1: two coworkers catch up to me. We walk down the
- 14:51Speaker 1: trail until we get to an intersection where it's not
- 14:55Speaker 1: surrounded by trees. We shoot the breeze for about forty
- 14:59Speaker 1: five minutes and spa smoke American spirit SIGs go figure
- 15:03Speaker 1: and just talking about life and laughing. I then see
- 15:09Speaker 1: out of my left peripheral a six foot tall white
- 15:13Speaker 1: silhouette of a person without any distinct features except a head, shoulders, arms,
- 15:20Speaker 1: and a torso and legs conjoin just past the knees
- 15:24Speaker 1: but no feet, glide diagonally from behind a tree and
- 15:29Speaker 1: float just above the trail we're on, about thirty to
- 15:33Speaker 1: fifty feet away. I slowly turned my head to my
- 15:38Speaker 1: coworker and whisper his name. He says what, and looks
- 15:44Speaker 1: up from his phone and sees.
- 15:45Speaker 2: What I see.
- 15:48Speaker 1: I whisper, do you see that? He says, I think
- 15:53Speaker 1: it pierced my soul. Not it piercing your soul. Don't
- 15:59Speaker 1: get me wrong. I know what he means, but it
- 16:02Speaker 1: sounds so dramatic when you're just reading about it. It
- 16:08Speaker 1: then noticed us noticing it, and glides diagonally again across
- 16:13Speaker 1: the trail and disappears behind another tree, and we take
- 16:18Speaker 1: off running back to our campsite, about two to three
- 16:22Speaker 1: hundred yards away. I think the burning of all this
- 16:25Speaker 1: pure tobacco brought this spirit out and took it as
- 16:29Speaker 1: an offering. I think it was just wanting to communicate
- 16:33Speaker 1: because it didn't seem malevolent and seemed to have an
- 16:36Speaker 1: interest in me because it remembered who I was. About
- 16:40Speaker 1: a week later, ah, it came back to zee.
- 16:43Speaker 2: You.
- 16:45Speaker 1: If it's not connected to you, it definitely took a
- 16:48Speaker 1: liking to you while you were there. Wait, is Lake
- 16:52Speaker 1: Tahoe haunted? Is this something I should have already known?
- 16:56Speaker 2: I'll be back.
- 16:57Speaker 1: I gotta go look at something. Holy shit, Not only
- 17:01Speaker 1: is it haunted, but it was where the Dnner party
- 17:04Speaker 1: was and apparently there is a man eating bird too.
- 17:09Speaker 1: So be lucky you got the ghost instead of the
- 17:11Speaker 1: man eating bird, I guess, especially since it seemed to
- 17:16Speaker 1: be a chill ghost. As for what it was, it
- 17:19Speaker 1: could have been apparently a variety of ghosts, or maybe
- 17:24Speaker 1: it's just a forest spirit. Whatever it was, at least
- 17:28Speaker 1: it wasn't bothering you, just checking out what you guys
- 17:31Speaker 1: were doing. So I didn't realize this, but I picked
- 17:38Speaker 1: two stories back to back based on trees, more so
- 17:42Speaker 1: the next one, but still funny.
- 17:45Speaker 2: Anyways, this one is called.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Trees I planted eighteen years ago felt happy to see
- 17:53Speaker 1: me last time I went and visit them. So when
- 17:57Speaker 1: I was about five years old, I planted at five
- 18:00Speaker 1: hundred to six hundred pine trees on some land or
- 18:04Speaker 1: family owns with my grandpa. Holy shit, you planted a forest.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Grandpa died a couple years later, and no one ever
- 18:15Speaker 1: went back until recently when I decided I wanted to
- 18:19Speaker 1: go camp with some friends. So soon after I got there,
- 18:24Speaker 1: I was amazed at how tall they were, at least
- 18:27Speaker 1: thirty to forty feet, and I just couldn't shake this feeling.
- 18:32Speaker 1: The whole little forest I planted was happy to see me.
- 18:37Speaker 1: The whole time I was there. It felt insanely positive,
- 18:41Speaker 1: and I just kept getting the happy vibes from the trees.
- 18:46Speaker 1: What do y'all think some explanations could be. I was
- 18:49Speaker 1: thinking maybe either nature spirits or residual energy mixed with
- 18:53Speaker 1: my own emotions. Let me know what you think. I
- 18:58Speaker 1: think the trees i'd have just been happy to see
- 19:01Speaker 1: you again. They probably remember that you are the one
- 19:05Speaker 1: that planted them in the first place, and the fact
- 19:08Speaker 1: that you decided to camp out there probably help make
- 19:11Speaker 1: you feel more connected to the trees as well. If
- 19:15Speaker 1: you still have access to the forest, you should go
- 19:17Speaker 1: talk to the trees once in a while, tell them
- 19:20Speaker 1: about your life, and even tell them about your problems.
- 19:23Speaker 1: It sounds crazy, but if you can already feel their happiness,
- 19:27Speaker 1: it means you have a strong connection to them. I
- 19:33Speaker 1: hope if you learned anything from this episode today, it
- 19:36Speaker 1: is to leave things you find in the water in
- 19:39Speaker 1: the water. If an object gives you a weird feeling,
- 19:43Speaker 1: leave it alone. It's not for you and it might
- 19:47Speaker 1: leave you cursed. But if it's litter, obviously pick it up.
- 19:53Speaker 1: The water spirits will appreciate it. And the other thing
- 19:56Speaker 1: I hope you take from this is to always talk
- 19:59Speaker 1: to the trees. They are alive and you never know
- 20:03Speaker 1: what could come from it. If nothing else, they'll help
- 20:06Speaker 1: you feel grounded, So hug a treat once in a while.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Nature is a powerful tool for a lot of people,
- 20:16Speaker 1: obviously for witches, especially since it's a big part of
- 20:19Speaker 1: our practice, or at least for most it is, but
- 20:23Speaker 1: it is good for everyone no matter what they believe in.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Nature should be respected and loved, after all. But that's
- 20:33Speaker 1: enough of my little witchy ray and I guess. Anyways,
- 20:37Speaker 1: if you guys enjoyed the show, please rate and review
- 20:41Speaker 1: the podcast, as well as like and subscribe if you're
