HSV Police Now Able To More Accurately Track Crime
HSV Police Chief Bennett joins us to discuss big news for the Hot Springs Village. The HSV Police Department has received an ORI (Originating Agency Identifier) from the FBI. This will enhance the department's ability to track crime. Chief Bennett contacted the NCIC (National Crime Information Center - FBI) and was issued a number just for Hot Springs Village. Moving forward, the crime stats for HSV will no longer be combined with Saline or Garland County. The Village continues to enjoy a low crime rate, which can now be proven more accurately.
