- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Well, well, well, well, well, good morning, welcome to a
- 0:05Speaker 2: brand new week.
- 0:06Speaker 3: Thank you for starting it with us over here at
- 0:08Speaker 3: the river.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Ricky Sanchez, good to see you just got the three things.
- 0:11Speaker 4: So many wells right there. Well, and Nick Jonas is
- 0:15Speaker 4: going viral right now for a video showing what it's
- 0:18Speaker 4: like when a brand rents you clothing. So it's pretty
- 0:20Speaker 4: typical for celebrities to be given clothing from different brands
- 0:24Speaker 4: to wear for big events. So when Nick was on
- 0:26Speaker 4: Jimmy Fallon, who's given a pair of pants to wear
- 0:28Speaker 4: for the event?
- 0:29Speaker 5: In the pocket, he found a plane ticket.
- 0:32Speaker 4: When he opened up the plane ticket, turns out it
- 0:35Speaker 4: was for Glenn Powell, which means that he was the
- 0:37Speaker 4: last one, maybe not even the last one to wear
- 0:40Speaker 4: the pants.
- 0:41Speaker 5: Obviously.
- 0:41Speaker 4: There were a lot of people commenting on whether or
- 0:43Speaker 4: not the pants were effectively washed, given that, like, obviously
- 0:48Speaker 4: that shouldn't be in the pocket anymore if it was.
- 0:51Speaker 4: Even Glenn did comment saying, quote, they didn't wash these
- 0:54Speaker 4: for you. I feel like the Brotherhood of the Traveling
- 0:57Speaker 4: Pants should incorporate some sort of hygiene pact.
- 1:00Speaker 5: But some were even.
- 1:01Speaker 4: More confused on how they can even fit in the
- 1:03Speaker 4: same pants, which very much fits Glenn's reference of the
- 1:07Speaker 4: Brotherhood of the Traveling Pants. To give you an idea,
- 1:09Speaker 4: Nick Jonas is about five to six and Glenn is
- 1:12Speaker 4: six foot, so everyone's a little confused on how this
- 1:15Speaker 4: worked out. We may actually have a pair of pants
- 1:18Speaker 4: that can fit literally anyone, no matter who they are.
- 1:22Speaker 5: But that video is now going viral.
- 1:23Speaker 4: I'll post it on one of seventy five of the
- 1:25Speaker 4: River's Instagram page in the stories so.
- 1:27Speaker 5: That you can watch it yourself. A lane closure is.
- 1:30Speaker 4: Planned this week at National International Airport during taxiway maintenance,
- 1:34Speaker 4: so the right hand lane going northbound on Donaldson Pike
- 1:37Speaker 4: will be closed.
- 1:39Speaker 5: It's gonna be closed daily.
- 1:40Speaker 4: From nine am to three pm today through Thursday.
- 1:43Speaker 5: Like I said, it's her maintenance.
- 1:45Speaker 4: So the adjacent taxiway that runs along Donaldson Pike needs
- 1:49Speaker 4: some upgrading, So just keep that in mind because it
- 1:52Speaker 4: can lead to additional traffic in that area, So just
- 1:54Speaker 4: know what you're getting into beforehand. And the Olympic village
- 1:58Speaker 4: accommodations are pretty nice this year. Olympians are experiencing comfortable
- 2:03Speaker 4: beds this time around.
- 2:04Speaker 5: If you remember, there was a.
- 2:05Speaker 4: Situation with cardboard beds, yeah, the one here. Plenty of
- 2:09Speaker 4: storage space, they got charging out let's galore.
- 2:12Speaker 5: There's a bidet in every bathroom.
- 2:14Speaker 4: They have a common area that has a dining hall
- 2:17Speaker 4: serving Italian cuisine, training centers, a recreational zone with foosball,
- 2:22Speaker 4: air hockey.
- 2:23Speaker 5: A photo booth. They all get ten.
- 2:25Speaker 4: Minute makeup sessions that are available, and every one of
- 2:28Speaker 4: them is going to leave with the Samsung Galaxy Z
- 2:30Speaker 4: flip seven phone, a special edition one. So it looks
- 2:34Speaker 4: like they're pulling out all the stops this year for
- 2:36Speaker 4: the athletes there at the Olympic Village. Obviously, as the
- 2:38Speaker 4: Olympics continue, there's going to plenty of stores coming out
- 2:41Speaker 4: of there.
- 2:42Speaker 5: Amrichy Sanchez and those are the three things you need
- 2:44Speaker 5: to know.
- 2:45Speaker 6: Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on the river.
- 2:50Speaker 3: There you go.
- 2:51Speaker 2: We love us some Bruno Mars over here at the River.
- 2:53Speaker 2: He's got a new album coming later this month. He's
- 2:56Speaker 2: going on tour. He's going to be in Nashville and
- 2:58Speaker 2: we are doing something all the Romantic Games. His album
- 3:02Speaker 2: is called The Romantic inspired by that, inspired by his
- 3:05Speaker 2: whole vibe really these games.
- 3:07Speaker 4: So the idea here is you want to be the
- 3:09Speaker 4: first caller of the day, right here, right now on
- 3:11Speaker 4: one oh seven five the river. So six one five seven,
- 3:13Speaker 4: three seven nine one oh seven. That doesn't win you
- 3:16Speaker 4: tickets though, that just gets you into the Romantic Games
- 3:19Speaker 4: where you and your significant other or you know, best friend,
- 3:22Speaker 4: whichever way you want to do this, are going to
- 3:24Speaker 4: join us to compete in the Romantic Games. The winning
- 3:29Speaker 4: couple is getting a night out with Bruno Mars.
- 3:32Speaker 3: How cool is that?
- 3:32Speaker 2: Six one five seven, three seven nine one oh seven.
- 3:35Speaker 2: You're going to be in the studio playing the games
- 3:38Speaker 2: for these tickets for the first caller of the day
- 3:40Speaker 2: right now on the river.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Let's go.
- 3:41Speaker 6: Here's Milesmith, Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning one.
- 3:47Speaker 5: We are doing something really cool.
- 3:49Speaker 4: I am very excited about Bruno Mars is coming to town,
- 3:53Speaker 4: and obviously this is gonna be like the biggest concert
- 3:55Speaker 4: I think we have in Nashville this this year, and
- 3:58Speaker 4: we want to make sure that we have fun giving
- 4:01Speaker 4: away these tickets. So we're looking for people to be
- 4:03Speaker 4: part of our Romantic Games, the first ever romantic game.
- 4:07Speaker 2: I love it so much. Devin in Nashville, good morning morning.
- 4:11Speaker 3: How are you.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Today doing well?
- 4:13Speaker 7: I haven't quite started the day yet, but hopefully it's
- 4:16Speaker 7: gonna be a good one.
- 4:17Speaker 2: I think it's gonna be a great day in a
- 4:18Speaker 2: great week because you're starting it as our first contestant
- 4:22Speaker 2: in the romantic Games. You're gonna come into the studio.
- 4:26Speaker 2: I'm just telling you right now, you're the first caller
- 4:27Speaker 2: of the day. Congratulations. So you and a partner, your
- 4:30Speaker 2: significant other, your best friend, whoever, You're gonna come in
- 4:32Speaker 2: and compete against other couples in these games for these
- 4:36Speaker 2: Bruno Mars tickets.
- 4:37Speaker 7: Oh my goodness, crazy.
- 4:40Speaker 5: It's gonna be a lot of fun.
- 4:41Speaker 7: What is are we do? You have to know each other?
- 4:44Speaker 7: What's the game?
- 4:45Speaker 4: Yes, so you're gonna pick somebody that you know, so
- 4:48Speaker 4: either your significant other, maybe a best friend, something along
- 4:51Speaker 4: those lines. You guys are going to come in and
- 4:53Speaker 4: as a couple, you're gonna compete against other couples in
- 4:57Speaker 4: these games, these trials of games, and whoever wins.
- 5:01Speaker 5: Is going to get a night out with Bruno Mars.
- 5:03Speaker 4: So you're gonna go see him at Nissan Stadium and
- 5:06Speaker 4: you get a hotel s day, dinner and drinks at
- 5:08Speaker 4: Virgin Hotels, Nashville.
- 5:09Speaker 7: I just have to say, me and my man are
- 5:12Speaker 7: very competitive. It'll get real, yes.
- 5:15Speaker 3: What yeah, And I'm exactly.
- 5:16Speaker 5: What we want.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Honestly, I'm glad that you said me and my man
- 5:19Speaker 2: and it's not a best friend because.
- 5:20Speaker 3: It's gonna be a little You guys are gonna get.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Close there when you're playing these games, Okay, I think
- 5:25Speaker 2: like furry handcuffs and stuff like that.
- 5:29Speaker 5: It's gonna be a lot of fun.
- 5:30Speaker 4: I promise you guys are going to get competitive and
- 5:34Speaker 4: possibly win. And if you do, like I said, night
- 5:36Speaker 4: out with Burno Mars doesn't sound bad. So you're gonna
- 5:38Speaker 4: have to deal with a little bit of I'm like,
- 5:41Speaker 4: what's the right word. Maybe embarrassment, probably, yes, But it's
- 5:44Speaker 4: gonna be fun.
- 5:45Speaker 6: All right.
- 5:46Speaker 7: I'm excited, Thank you so much.
- 5:48Speaker 5: Absolutely we're excited too. I'm gonna put you on hold. Okay,
- 5:50Speaker 5: we gotta get your info real quick.
- 5:52Speaker 7: Okay, awesome, thank you of course.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Thanks for calling, Devin. So yeah, for the rest of
- 5:56Speaker 2: the week, we're qualifying people. You'll come in if you're
- 5:58Speaker 2: the first caller this week, and you'll compete agains Devin
- 6:00Speaker 2: and her guy for these Bruno Mars tickets his night out.
- 6:03Speaker 5: With Bruno, a bunch of other people.
- 6:05Speaker 4: Also, I will say, if it is your best friend,
- 6:07Speaker 4: I think that that's fine.
- 6:08Speaker 5: You're still gonna have fun.
- 6:09Speaker 4: Absolutely, your best year are gonna get closed as long
- 6:11Speaker 4: as you're close.
- 6:12Speaker 6: Yeah, Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on
- 6:17Speaker 6: the River.
- 6:17Speaker 2: I mean, we've already been getting calls this morning, people
- 6:20Speaker 2: just simply asking Ricky off the air what she thought
- 6:22Speaker 2: of the halftime show last night. It's when I was
- 6:24Speaker 2: seven five the River. Zach is out today. It's just
- 6:27Speaker 2: Ricky and myself hanging with you. Thank you for being here,
- 6:30Speaker 2: all right, Ricky, bad Bunny, your guy?
- 6:32Speaker 5: How do you do so good?
- 6:34Speaker 4: It was so good, Kevin. I loved every single second
- 6:37Speaker 4: of it. I just stared at the TV with the
- 6:39Speaker 4: biggest smile on my face the entire time that he
- 6:42Speaker 4: was performing. I just truly feel like he did such
- 6:44Speaker 4: an amazing job. He did exactly what he said he
- 6:47Speaker 4: was gonna do, which was bringing people together and make
- 6:49Speaker 4: it a big party in celebration. It was very uplifting,
- 6:53Speaker 4: it was very exciting. It was like a constant go,
- 6:55Speaker 4: go go. There was no moment that I was like, oh,
- 6:58Speaker 4: where is this going? Like it was exactly what he
- 7:01Speaker 4: said it was going to be, and he just did
- 7:02Speaker 4: such a phenomenal job. The one time that I was
- 7:06Speaker 4: absolutely stunned and shocked and surprise was when Lady Gaga,
- 7:10Speaker 4: unexpected just came out of nowhere and started singing, and
- 7:13Speaker 4: I was like, what is going on? I was not
- 7:16Speaker 4: expecting Lady Gaga, although he is a huge Gaga fan,
- 7:20Speaker 4: so it kind of makes sense, but I really I
- 7:22Speaker 4: didn't know who he was gonna bring out. Ricky Martin
- 7:24Speaker 4: then performed as well. He had a lot of people
- 7:27Speaker 4: in the casita. He has a little casita as a
- 7:29Speaker 4: part of the set that he like dances on top
- 7:32Speaker 4: of the roof and everything like that. So all these
- 7:34Speaker 4: people were in there with him, like Pedro Pascal and
- 7:37Speaker 4: Cardi B. Jessica Alba was in there, like a lot
- 7:42Speaker 4: of people just dancing and having fun. He did a
- 7:44Speaker 4: lot of pieces that are very true to Puerto Rico
- 7:47Speaker 4: and the culture in Puerto Rico, and it was just
- 7:51Speaker 4: so good.
- 7:52Speaker 5: I was good.
- 7:53Speaker 3: I'm not even the big Bunny fan that you are.
- 7:55Speaker 2: I mean, I like him and I respect him, but man,
- 7:57Speaker 2: that was an entertaining halftime show that was I mean,
- 7:59Speaker 2: the legitti of it alone were it is nuts. To
- 8:02Speaker 2: settle that stuff up in fifteen minutes is just wild.
- 8:04Speaker 3: To turn it so.
- 8:05Speaker 4: One of the craziest parts too, is all of the
- 8:08Speaker 4: brush that you saw, like all the plants and everything.
- 8:10Speaker 4: Were people dressed as plants? Oh, I didn't really because
- 8:14Speaker 4: that was the easiest way for them to get so
- 8:16Speaker 4: many plants and sugar cane out there, Yes, is to
- 8:19Speaker 4: have everybody run out and be the sugar cane.
- 8:22Speaker 5: So those were people in costume for that, That's why.
- 8:25Speaker 4: And it wouldn't mess up the field because of all
- 8:26Speaker 4: the things they would have to chuck out.
- 8:28Speaker 3: So it was just a bunch of people I didn't know.
- 8:29Speaker 4: Yeah, really cool, lots of like salsa dancing and just
- 8:33Speaker 4: a fun time. Like whether you can speak Spanish or not,
- 8:36Speaker 4: it doesn't really matter when everything is done so well
- 8:39Speaker 4: and so perfectly the way that he did it.
- 8:41Speaker 5: I feel like everybody had a good time.
- 8:43Speaker 3: Absolutely. I liked that there was a wedding during his.
- 8:45Speaker 5: Performance, real wedding. It was real. The entire thing was
- 8:50Speaker 5: totally real.
- 8:50Speaker 4: He gets invited to weddings all the time, and I
- 8:52Speaker 4: guess one of the people that he was invited to
- 8:55Speaker 4: their wedding, he actually reversed it, yeah, and invited them
- 8:57Speaker 4: to come to the Super.
- 8:58Speaker 5: Bowl to get married.
- 8:59Speaker 3: Said I have a better It's so cool.
- 9:01Speaker 2: I also liked, sorry, this is just like a you know,
- 9:03Speaker 2: production point of view now, but when he crashed through
- 9:05Speaker 2: the roof and they cut away to like a pre
- 9:07Speaker 2: tape thing, yeah, that was super cool. I feel like
- 9:09Speaker 2: nobody ever does anything like that. During the halftime show,
- 9:12Speaker 2: it was.
- 9:12Speaker 5: Just so well done.
- 9:13Speaker 4: And you can tell that he I could go on
- 9:15Speaker 4: and on and on about all of the symbolism and
- 9:17Speaker 4: the pieces that just makes sense for Puerto Rico and
- 9:20Speaker 4: the culture, and that would take another twenty five minutes.
- 9:24Speaker 5: But he was so intentional.
- 9:26Speaker 4: Every piece was so important and intentional, and it just
- 9:30Speaker 4: brought it all together in such a beautiful, magnificent way.
- 9:32Speaker 5: I was so happy. I was so excited. I cried
- 9:34Speaker 5: afterwards thinking about it.
- 9:36Speaker 4: I got like emotional thinking about it because it means
- 9:40Speaker 4: a lot.
- 9:40Speaker 5: It's a big deal. Obviously, this moment.
- 9:43Speaker 4: Is a big deal, and knowing his his journey to
- 9:47Speaker 4: this point, it was just a really emotional moment.
- 9:49Speaker 3: I'm glad that you loved it.
- 9:50Speaker 2: He crushed it, and yes, your review of it was
- 9:54Speaker 2: very important to me, So I'm glad that we.
- 9:56Speaker 4: I love the people have been calling this morning to
- 9:58Speaker 4: ask me what I think about it.
- 10:00Speaker 5: It made me so happy.
- 10:01Speaker 3: A lot of people had you on their mind when
- 10:02Speaker 3: they were watching last week.
- 10:03Speaker 4: Oh also, I made my detist and paradillas and ol conndules.
- 10:07Speaker 5: And I killed it. Okay, I did such a good job.
- 10:11Speaker 4: I think I could do better next time, but I
- 10:13Speaker 4: did such a great job on my first time alone.
- 10:15Speaker 5: So I'm very about it myself.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Proudy for that too. Man, just all good stuff all around. Well,
- 10:20Speaker 2: thank you for starting this Monday morning with us. I
- 10:21Speaker 2: know a lot of people probably call it in sick today.
- 10:23Speaker 2: So if you're up and adam, good for you. We're
- 10:25Speaker 2: here with you.
- 10:26Speaker 5: Three things you need to know, oh.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Big past seven o'clock here on this Monday morning. Thank
- 10:31Speaker 2: you so much for starting your day with us. That
- 10:32Speaker 2: means a lot to us. Ricky's got those three things.
- 10:35Speaker 5: Super Bowl sixty happened yesterday.
- 10:37Speaker 4: And just in case you were busy, or you'll live
- 10:39Speaker 4: under a rock, or you maybe missed us talking about
- 10:41Speaker 4: it a little bit earlier. Here things some of the
- 10:44Speaker 4: things that you need to know about so you can
- 10:47Speaker 4: have like some combos of people at work.
- 10:49Speaker 5: So the Seahawks won the Super Bowl with.
- 10:51Speaker 4: A score of twenty nine to thirteen, beating out the
- 10:53Speaker 4: Patriots in what was I'm sorry, but a very boring game.
- 10:58Speaker 3: Agreed, thank you.
- 10:59Speaker 4: It was just I'm really excited for the Seahawks, but like,
- 11:02Speaker 4: what a boring game. The Super Bowl MVP went to
- 11:04Speaker 4: Seahawks Kenneth Walker the third, which if you watch, totally
- 11:08Speaker 4: makes sense because even though it was a boring game,
- 11:09Speaker 4: that man worked during that game. Bed Bunny played the
- 11:13Speaker 4: halftime show and absolutely crushed it. If you missed my
- 11:16Speaker 4: little recap a few minutes ago, here are some quick tidbits.
- 11:19Speaker 5: Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin sang. A bunch of people
- 11:21Speaker 5: showed up to.
- 11:22Speaker 4: Dance and party in La Caasita, which was part of
- 11:25Speaker 4: his stage. So Cardi b was up there, Pedro Pascal,
- 11:28Speaker 4: Alex Earl, which threw me for a loop.
- 11:30Speaker 5: Young Miko. They were all up there.
- 11:32Speaker 4: Some of the people that you could see dancing. It
- 11:34Speaker 4: really was a celebration the entire way through. If you
- 11:37Speaker 4: missed it, you can watch it on YouTube. They do
- 11:40Speaker 4: have the full performance up for you. Mayor Freddie O'Connell
- 11:43Speaker 4: has announced no late fees for water bills. He asked
- 11:47Speaker 4: for specific legislation to state that there cannot be turnoffs
- 11:50Speaker 4: or late fees for February, meaning that if you can't
- 11:52Speaker 4: afford to pay a higher bill due to the fact
- 11:54Speaker 4: that we had to trip our faucets for weeks at
- 11:57Speaker 4: a time, you can pay your normal out now and
- 12:00Speaker 4: catch up later. There will also be two recovery centers
- 12:03Speaker 4: starting today, Hadley and Smith's.
- 12:05Speaker 5: Spring Regional Centers.
- 12:08Speaker 4: These centers are for food, health and social services, so
- 12:11Speaker 4: that if you need those resources and you're still struggling
- 12:14Speaker 4: with the aftermath of the winter storm, they are there
- 12:16Speaker 4: for you.
- 12:18Speaker 5: And Lego has really just been churning it out.
- 12:21Speaker 4: I feel like there's a new set that I get
- 12:22Speaker 4: to tell you about every week at this point. But
- 12:24Speaker 4: they just announced a K Pop Demon Hunter set which
- 12:27Speaker 4: is going to be massive. Pre Orders for the set
- 12:30Speaker 4: will start this spring, with a much larger range that
- 12:32Speaker 4: are expected to follow in.
- 12:34Speaker 5: Twenty twenty seven.
- 12:35Speaker 4: This is the latest toy to be revealed for the
- 12:37Speaker 4: K Pop Demon Hunters movie. Obviously massive movie, not just
- 12:40Speaker 4: for kids.
- 12:41Speaker 5: Adults love it too. I thought it was a phenomenal movie.
- 12:44Speaker 4: I actually listened to Kevin who said, Ricky, I think
- 12:46Speaker 4: you'd like it. Didn't believe him.
- 12:48Speaker 5: Watched it, loved it.
- 12:50Speaker 4: So now they are just churning out things left and right.
- 12:53Speaker 4: Like I said, there's going to be a lot coming
- 12:55Speaker 4: from Lego that has to do with K pop Demon Hunters.
- 12:58Speaker 5: I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you.
- 12:59Speaker 3: Need to Thank you, Ricky.
- 13:00Speaker 2: I think the takeaway there was to trust Kevin. That's
- 13:03Speaker 2: the's not That's what I got from that.
- 13:05Speaker 5: Kevin No Zavier's suggestions are horrific.
- 13:09Speaker 2: ZAG is out again today, so I'm filling in form
- 13:12Speaker 2: ZAX Facts presented by Kevin Manow. It's a super Bowl
- 13:15Speaker 2: themed fact. Where did that name come from? Super Bowl?
- 13:19Speaker 2: What I'll tell you next.
- 13:20Speaker 3: Down the river.
- 13:22Speaker 6: Class is in sessions SAX fact on one, Ricky, have
- 13:28Speaker 6: you ever wondered, like where the term super Bowl came from?
- 13:30Speaker 3: How long that has been been around?
- 13:32Speaker 5: I have it until you brought it up, and now
- 13:34Speaker 5: I'm super curious.
- 13:35Speaker 2: It was coined by a man named Lamar Hunt Senior
- 13:38Speaker 2: back in nineteen fifty nine. He was involved in the
- 13:40Speaker 2: league Back then, and he wrote in a letter to
- 13:42Speaker 2: the NFL commissioner, quote, I have kiddingly called it the
- 13:45Speaker 2: super Bowl.
- 13:46Speaker 3: Which obviously can be improved upon.
- 13:48Speaker 2: He said the name was likely in his head because
- 13:51Speaker 2: his children had been playing with a toy called a
- 13:53Speaker 2: super Bowl, so in his head, he said, it is
- 13:57Speaker 2: a little corny and kind of silly, but it looks
- 13:59Speaker 2: like we're stuck with it. I'm not proud of it,
- 14:01Speaker 2: but nobody's come up with anything better, so we still
- 14:05Speaker 2: have the super Bowl today, the biggest event in sports.
- 14:08Speaker 3: He called it corny.
- 14:10Speaker 5: Have you had a lot of confidence behind that?
- 14:12Speaker 2: Nobody had anything better? And that's why I would call
- 14:14Speaker 2: it the super Bowl.
- 14:15Speaker 3: Sometimes it just be like that, And that's your fact
- 14:17Speaker 3: of the day.
- 14:18Speaker 6: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on the river.

- 14:27Speaker 1: Like?
- 14:27Speaker 2: Is there a certain thing for me? Honestly, I hate
- 14:30Speaker 2: to admit it, but it's probably hats.
- 14:31Speaker 3: I don't. I don't why I keep buying hats. I
- 14:33Speaker 3: don't need more hats.

- 14:54Speaker 2: find out what yours is, too, Ricky, because I know
- 14:55Speaker 2: you have one.
- 14:56Speaker 5: I do unfortunately.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Is it laboo boo? We'll get there. What do you

- 15:09Speaker 5: What do you.
- 15:10Speaker 4: Spend too much money on that people are constantly calling
- 15:13Speaker 4: you out for? It's Ricky, Zach and Mano in the

- 15:21Speaker 2: I just look's like a new hat every week and
- 15:23Speaker 2: I don't even wear them.

- 15:50Speaker 5: God, what's twenty? Okay, that's not too bad.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Oh it really is bad.
- 15:58Speaker 5: I feel like I.
- 15:58Speaker 4: Might be trying to make myself feel better about the
- 16:00Speaker 4: amount of things that I have by saying that it's
- 16:03Speaker 4: not that bad.
- 16:03Speaker 5: I mean, how many black persons can I continue?
- 16:06Speaker 8: The hat?
- 16:08Speaker 5: Black universal those everything shapes and sizes. That's the problem.
- 16:14Speaker 3: You actually need though, like two maybe sure.
- 16:17Speaker 5: Now, men don't understand, Carrie. Men just don't get it.
- 16:22Speaker 4: You need like different types of purses for different types
- 16:25Speaker 4: of vibes and what you're going to And black is universal,
- 16:28Speaker 4: like carry said, and it just comes in so many
- 16:30Speaker 4: sheeps and sizes that you need one in every shape
- 16:33Speaker 4: and size.
- 16:33Speaker 5: See exactly, I'm a really bad influence. I wear scrubs
- 16:37Speaker 5: every day, but thanks dough Friday. So yeah, I don't
- 16:40Speaker 5: care about buying shoes.
- 16:41Speaker 7: But persons here we get I love it.
- 16:44Speaker 4: Carrie and Kevin, you don't have a leg to stand
- 16:47Speaker 4: on all those.
- 16:47Speaker 5: Dang hats you have.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Agreed, I'll get rid of some of my hats if
- 16:50Speaker 2: you get rid of some of your purses.

- 17:01Speaker 5: Thank you for calling in, Carrie. We hope you have
- 17:03Speaker 5: a great day you too, by love by.
- 17:07Speaker 3: Okay, Ricky, So what is it for you?
- 17:08Speaker 5: I I it's multiple things. Unfortunately, I have problems. But
- 17:14Speaker 5: I buy a lot of trinkets. Like I went through
- 17:16Speaker 5: my Labuobu phase and I bought a lot of those.
- 17:18Speaker 2: I do buy a lot of trinkets, just like an
- 17:20Speaker 2: little things little.
- 17:22Speaker 5: I love it. It makes you really happy.
- 17:24Speaker 3: I don't even know what else to call them other
- 17:25Speaker 3: than trinkets.
- 17:26Speaker 5: I love drinkets so much. It just it brings whimsy
- 17:29Speaker 5: into your life.
- 17:29Speaker 4: I also just have a really bad problem where I
- 17:31Speaker 4: can't stop buying merch. I'm wearing bad bunny merch right now.
- 17:35Speaker 4: I didn't get to go to the concert in Puerto Rico.
- 17:38Speaker 4: I wasn't able to go, but I had a friend
- 17:40Speaker 4: who would and I made her buy me merch.
- 17:43Speaker 3: That's a good shirt to me. You have a lot
- 17:45Speaker 3: of band merch.

- 17:58Speaker 2: money on something whatever that might be Perrichet's trinkets for me,

- 18:06Speaker 5: I love shoes, Mabel. That's probably the third thing that
- 18:09Speaker 5: I spend too much money on. I have way too
- 18:11Speaker 5: many shoes to it.
- 18:13Speaker 7: I can stop.
- 18:15Speaker 5: How many pairs of shoes would you say you have?

- 18:25Speaker 5: Honestly, do I think I'm close to one hundred. I'm
- 18:28Speaker 5: not gonna lie to you. In my tiny little apartment too.
- 18:31Speaker 5: It's hard to find space for them on the DLT.
- 18:34Speaker 2: How do you guys have one hundred pairs of shoes?
- 18:36Speaker 2: That's crazy to me.
- 18:37Speaker 4: Well, because this is the thing, and I'm sure Mabel's
- 18:40Speaker 4: experienced this as well, where you have like a big event,
- 18:43Speaker 4: and you have an idea of an outfit in your
- 18:45Speaker 4: head of what you want to wear, and you want
- 18:46Speaker 4: to look good and you want everybody to be like, dang,
- 18:49Speaker 4: look at her, So you put together this whole outfit
- 18:52Speaker 4: in your head.
- 18:52Speaker 5: And then it just involves new shoes. I looked at it,
- 18:55Speaker 5: Frida hide in in my car?
- 18:56Speaker 6: Why I order it online?
- 18:57Speaker 7: And that's how my son just put it on my.

- 19:14Speaker 5: That's you know, that's something that mommy got to you.
- 19:17Speaker 7: So that's why speak every time we have a box,
- 19:20Speaker 7: like you know, like for a delivery, something like Mama said,
- 19:23Speaker 7: don't open it because that's for you.
- 19:25Speaker 2: That is so funny, always getting him these mystery gifts
- 19:28Speaker 2: that he never receives. You might have a problem, maybel

- 20:58Speaker 4: If you get these questions right, you're gonna go see
- 21:00Speaker 4: Zain from one Direction at Britstone Arena on July thirty.
- 21:03Speaker 2: First, Candace from All Good Tennessee is on the line.

- 21:31Speaker 3: Right now, Candace.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Name one cameo during Bad Bunnies Super Bowl halftime performance.
- 21:43Speaker 2: One person either out there dancing or maybe somebody that
- 21:45Speaker 2: was out there singing with him.
- 21:47Speaker 5: Maybe jib oh, no, he was not. That would have
- 21:52Speaker 5: been a great choice, though, I would have been very
- 21:55Speaker 5: in the beginning of the game so I wasn't the
- 21:58Speaker 5: halftime ship. No, it's okay. You're still in the game.
- 22:01Speaker 2: Okay, you get this right. You win a different sport here.
- 22:03Speaker 2: What sport is at the center of the popular HBO
- 22:07Speaker 2: Max show he did rivalry?
- 22:11Speaker 5: Is it hockey? It is hockey? Okay, a point on
- 22:14Speaker 5: the board.
- 22:15Speaker 2: Good job, we're sticking with the sports theme. Where are
- 22:19Speaker 2: the twenty twenty six Winter Olympics currently taking place? We'll
- 22:27Speaker 2: take the country. You're sort of happening in two cities
- 22:30Speaker 2: in this particular.
- 22:31Speaker 5: Country, Italy.
- 22:34Speaker 3: Italy really.
- 22:37Speaker 5: Sounded like a guess, and you were right.
- 22:39Speaker 3: Congratulations.

- 22:49Speaker 7: Guys.
- 22:50Speaker 4: Of course, I'm a little upset that you didn't watch
- 22:52Speaker 4: the halftime show.
- 22:52Speaker 5: But it's fine, Candace, it's fine. My kids were getting crazy.
- 22:57Speaker 7: It is what it is.
- 22:59Speaker 5: I get it, and it's fine.
- 23:00Speaker 2: And just so, you still won and Ricky Martin both
- 23:03Speaker 2: came out to sing with Bad Bunny.
- 23:05Speaker 3: It was a great show.
- 23:07Speaker 5: Crazy.
- 23:09Speaker 4: I'm gonna put you on a hold though, Okay, Love,
- 23:10Speaker 4: I gotta get your info and congratulations again. We are
- 23:13Speaker 4: very excited for you, Thank you so much.

- 23:26Speaker 2: Right past eight o'clock here on this Monday morning, Thank
- 23:29Speaker 2: you for being here.
- 23:29Speaker 3: Ricky's got those three things.
- 23:31Speaker 4: Unfortunately, Drake's sports curse is alive and well.
- 23:35Speaker 5: In case you haven't heard of Drake's curse.
- 23:37Speaker 4: He's just he's really bad at betting on sports team.
- 23:41Speaker 5: He loves to do it, loves to do it. He's
- 23:44Speaker 5: really bad at it.
- 23:45Speaker 4: Though, whatever team he backs and goes for the other
- 23:47Speaker 4: team ends up winning. It's happened too many times at
- 23:51Speaker 4: this point to not be a real genuine curse. And
- 23:53Speaker 4: on Saturday, he told fans on Instagram that he dropped
- 23:56Speaker 4: a million dollar bet that the New England Patriots would
- 23:58Speaker 4: win the Super Bowl.
- 23:59Speaker 5: He even quote bet against me if you.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Dare What what a bold thing to say for the
- 24:04Speaker 2: guy that never wins.
- 24:06Speaker 4: Just in case you didn't watch yesterday, the Seahawks one.
- 24:10Speaker 4: So I hope a lot of people bet against him
- 24:13Speaker 4: so that they actually made some money. But yeah, it's
- 24:15Speaker 4: alive and well he lost a million dollars and I
- 24:18Speaker 4: just I don't know why this man keeps doing this
- 24:20Speaker 4: to himself. Good news, Practical Magic two is coming out sooner.
- 24:26Speaker 4: Warner Brothers has bumped up the release date to September eleventh.
- 24:29Speaker 4: Practical Magic two was previously supposed to come out on
- 24:32Speaker 4: the eighteenth of September, so now we're gonna get it
- 24:34Speaker 4: a few days ahead of time, which I love to hear.
- 24:37Speaker 4: It does mean that there's more competition as it's now
- 24:39Speaker 4: going up against the Redo of Sense and Sensibility from
- 24:44Speaker 4: Focused Features, so it doesn't look like they're.
- 24:47Speaker 5: Really worried about it.
- 24:49Speaker 3: That's like from the nineties, right.
- 24:50Speaker 5: Yes, Practical Magic is one of my favorite movies.
- 24:53Speaker 3: It's Kevin Sorry, I'll watch it.
- 24:56Speaker 5: We're gonna I'm gonna.
- 24:57Speaker 4: Fight you after this break is worth going. We're gonna
- 25:01Speaker 4: discuss why you haven't already that's insane.
- 25:03Speaker 5: But I'm very excited with Practical Magic too.
- 25:06Speaker 4: It's gonna be in my calendar September eleventh for me
- 25:08Speaker 4: to go to the movie theater or watch it and
- 25:10Speaker 4: if you're looking for a way to celebrate Valentine's Day.
- 25:12Speaker 4: The sweet Spot, a romantic dessert lounge pop up, is
- 25:17Speaker 4: happening at JW Marriott Nashville. The pop up is inside
- 25:21Speaker 4: Stomping Grounds. It's gonna be like an intimate candlelit experience.
- 25:25Speaker 5: Each ticket includes your desserts that are paired with your.
- 25:29Speaker 4: Choice of champagne, wine, and craft cocktails, some of which
- 25:32Speaker 4: are zero proof so everybody can enjoy it. It's happening
- 25:36Speaker 4: Thursday through Saturday this week from seven to nine pm,
- 25:39Speaker 4: where reservations are required so you can book them at
- 25:41Speaker 4: the JW Marriott website if you are interested.
- 25:44Speaker 5: Last I checked, they still had some slots available.
- 25:47Speaker 4: And if I wasn't gluten free, your girl would be there,
- 25:50Speaker 4: because that sounds delightful.
- 25:51Speaker 5: Just a bunch of desserts and champagne.
- 25:54Speaker 4: Ekia. I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things
- 25:56Speaker 4: you need to know.
- 25:57Speaker 2: Thank you, Ricky. You're not gonna like this, but do
- 25:59Speaker 2: you know what practical Manda kas.
- 26:00Speaker 5: On rotten tomatoes get out of here. I don't care.
- 26:03Speaker 3: Do you want to guess?
- 26:03Speaker 4: No, I don't want to guess, and I don't care.
- 26:05Speaker 4: I feel like you're bullying me right now.
- 26:07Speaker 3: Twenty seven percent. I can't wait for the secretions.
- 26:10Speaker 2: It's gonna be great right after Justin Bieber, we do
- 26:14Speaker 2: have your chance to win and some money. We're still
- 26:16Speaker 2: paying your bills again this week. There is a keyword.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Next minutes away. Get yourself this cash on.
- 26:21Speaker 1: The river, Ricky Zach and Minnow in the Morning.
- 26:26Speaker 4: Survey has found that twenty five percent of people would
- 26:30Speaker 4: break up with their partner over.
- 26:31Speaker 5: A bad Valentine's Day gift. That's crazy, a pretty.
- 26:35Speaker 4: High amount of people that are willing to do that,
- 26:37Speaker 4: especially considering I'm pretty sure everyone's gotten a bad gift
- 26:41Speaker 4: from a significant other before, so I want to know
- 26:44Speaker 4: what that bad gift is. If you've ever received something
- 26:46Speaker 4: from your significant other that you were like, wow, that
- 26:49Speaker 4: was just.
- 26:50Speaker 5: Swinging a miss.
- 26:51Speaker 3: I've given several to my wife.
- 26:54Speaker 2: Man, I'm so glad that she didn't leave me because
- 26:56Speaker 2: of these bad gifts. Because twenty five percent of people
- 26:58Speaker 2: would break up over a bad gift.
- 27:00Speaker 5: You're lucky that she has it.
- 27:02Speaker 2: Six one, five, seven, three seven, nine one oh seven.
- 27:05Speaker 3: The worst gift you ever received from a significant other?
- 27:09Speaker 5: What was? Did you break up with them?
- 27:11Speaker 2: I'll share mine too. The things I've given out, they
- 27:13Speaker 2: were just huge misses.
- 27:14Speaker 3: But we want to.
- 27:15Speaker 1: Sei River, Ricky, Zach and Minnow in the Morning.
- 27:19Speaker 3: One O seven five the River.
- 27:21Speaker 2: According to this survey, the study, twenty five percent of
- 27:24Speaker 2: people would break up with their significant other because of
- 27:27Speaker 2: a bad Valentine's Day gift.
- 27:28Speaker 3: That's a high number. We want to know the worst
- 27:30Speaker 3: gift you've ever received?
- 27:32Speaker 1: Uh?
- 27:32Speaker 2: Sierra in Fort Campbell, Kentucky's on the line. Good morning, Sierra,
- 27:35Speaker 2: good morning.
- 27:36Speaker 3: What was it for you?
- 27:38Speaker 2: So it wasn't necessarily a bad gift?
- 27:40Speaker 5: Okay? So I've been married with my husband for about
- 27:42Speaker 5: six years now. A year and a half ago, he
- 27:45Speaker 5: got me a.
- 27:47Speaker 7: Polaroid you know a little bit of polaroid.
- 27:49Speaker 5: Yeah, nap shot camera. He got me one of those.
- 27:53Speaker 6: But then the next day.
- 27:54Speaker 5: He returned it. What why did he do that? He
- 27:58Speaker 5: said that he couldn't necessarily at it, which completely understand
- 28:02Speaker 5: you know, I.
- 28:02Speaker 2: Mean, but we could have at the time.
- 28:04Speaker 5: So I don't know why. He's one of those people
- 28:07Speaker 5: that have buyers remorse.
- 28:09Speaker 7: And I was like, okay, yeah, so it was kind
- 28:13Speaker 7: of like hmmm, I mean I got chocolate, but that.
- 28:18Speaker 5: This and this is the thing.
- 28:19Speaker 4: You probably would have been fine with just chocolate, right,
- 28:22Speaker 4: you probably would have been totally okay with that.
- 28:24Speaker 5: Of course, it's the giving and that he take.
- 28:27Speaker 7: Yeah, he spoiled me literally through sixty five here, you
- 28:31Speaker 7: know what I mean.
- 28:31Speaker 1: So it was okay, but that was kind of crabby.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Are you able to take any polaroid photos with the
- 28:38Speaker 2: camera before he returned it?
- 28:39Speaker 1: No? I actually did.
- 28:40Speaker 7: I took about four polaroids.
- 28:42Speaker 6: And I still have them to this day, and they're
- 28:44Speaker 6: very really they're really good, really good picture.
- 28:46Speaker 4: So I'd appreciate it. And well, I'm glad you got
- 28:49Speaker 4: something out of it. But yeah, this makes it. And
- 28:51Speaker 4: you didn't leave him. Clearly you're still with him.
- 28:54Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 28:55Speaker 2: Yeah, he's lucky.
- 28:56Speaker 5: Huh, it's lucky. That's what I keep saying to Kevin.
- 28:59Speaker 4: He's lucky that he's wife is still with him after
- 29:01Speaker 4: all the bad gifts he's gotten her.
- 29:03Speaker 7: Oh no, you're a good one.
- 29:06Speaker 5: Then, Oh god, the pressure.
- 29:09Speaker 2: All right, Sierra, thank you for calling, and happy early
- 29:11Speaker 2: Valentine's Day.
- 29:15Speaker 3: All right. I think this was a birthday gift that
- 29:17Speaker 3: I got her.
- 29:18Speaker 5: Okay, I don't even want to.
- 29:21Speaker 3: Talk about this. I gave it.
- 29:22Speaker 2: I have a friend that's an artist, and I thought
- 29:24Speaker 2: it would be a good idea. We had just had
- 29:26Speaker 2: our baby, Molly, our first child, and we had our dog,
- 29:29Speaker 2: Owen at the time. So I asked my friend to
- 29:32Speaker 2: make a piece of art that would be our daughter
- 29:34Speaker 2: Molly righte on Owen's back like a horse.
- 29:38Speaker 3: Okay, it just didn't come out.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Well.
- 29:40Speaker 3: I was very excited about it.
- 29:42Speaker 2: Uh, my friend great artist, not great with faces. So
- 29:48Speaker 2: I had to ask him because he does all of
- 29:50Speaker 2: this stuff like sort of on a computer, you know
- 29:51Speaker 2: what I mean, it's not painting. Yeah. I had to
- 29:54Speaker 2: ask him a couple of times you mind fixing the
- 29:56Speaker 2: face a little bit, And it got to a point
- 29:57Speaker 2: where I just stopped asking.
- 29:58Speaker 3: And she looked a little nuts. It's a little crazy.
- 30:01Speaker 2: And I gave it to Ali, Ali, this new proud mom.
- 30:04Speaker 2: It literally made her cry when she saw it because
- 30:07Speaker 2: it was a depiction of ourn.
- 30:09Speaker 3: It was not good. It was not good.
- 30:11Speaker 5: Okay, so swinging a miss right there.
- 30:13Speaker 2: And I was I put so much effort into it,
- 30:15Speaker 2: you know what I mean, Like, I was really proud
- 30:17Speaker 2: of this creative idea.
- 30:18Speaker 5: I would say, the thought is what counts.
- 30:21Speaker 3: That's what she said.
- 30:22Speaker 5: But I don't know, keV. That's rough.
- 30:25Speaker 3: It was a gift that made her cry for the
- 30:27Speaker 3: wrong reason.
- 30:28Speaker 5: You should have just not given it to her.
- 30:29Speaker 3: But she didn't break up with me. You know we're
- 30:31Speaker 3: still happily married.
- 30:32Speaker 5: Yeah, really lucky.
- 30:34Speaker 2: Yeah. You don't need to leave someone over a bad gift.
- 30:36Speaker 2: Six one, five, seven, three seven, nine one oh seven.
- 30:38Speaker 2: Make me feel better. The worst gift you ever received
- 30:41Speaker 2: is we lead up to Valentine's Day?
- 30:42Speaker 3: Here, what what Ricky is?
- 30:44Speaker 6: Zach and manno in the morning.
- 30:47Speaker 1: On the river.
- 30:48Speaker 5: Valentine's Day is just around the corner. And this new
- 30:51Speaker 5: stat is wild.
- 30:52Speaker 4: Twenty five percent of people say they'd break up with
- 30:55Speaker 4: their partner over a bad Valentine's Day gift, which obviously
- 30:58Speaker 4: blew our minds because people get bad gifts all the
- 31:01Speaker 4: time from their significant others. Robin Shelbyville, what's that gift
- 31:04Speaker 4: that you've received that was just real bad?
- 31:07Speaker 7: A scale?
- 31:08Speaker 5: A scale?
- 31:10Speaker 4: Yep, your significant other got.
- 31:13Speaker 5: You a scale.
- 31:14Speaker 8: Yes, I was going on a get healthy and fit
- 31:19Speaker 8: this kick, and of all the things that he could
- 31:22Speaker 8: have bought me a workout out a young man, you know, wait,
- 31:27Speaker 8: he bought me a scale.
- 31:29Speaker 5: I my jaw is on the ground right now, Robin.
- 31:33Speaker 3: I'd like to try to like defend him a little
- 31:35Speaker 3: bit or something.
- 31:35Speaker 1: Movie.
- 31:35Speaker 3: I mean, that's just you know, my nature.
- 31:36Speaker 2: But you can't and anybody out there listening, don't get
- 31:40Speaker 2: your partner at scale.
- 31:41Speaker 5: Did you stay with him?
- 31:43Speaker 1: Oh?
- 31:43Speaker 7: Yes, you've been married.
- 31:45Speaker 5: But okay, that didn't break you guys up.
- 31:49Speaker 8: You know, he was really proud of it because he
- 31:51Speaker 8: was like, yes, listened to be talking about wanting to
- 31:55Speaker 8: get fit and whatnot. So he thought that was like
- 31:58Speaker 8: a really.
- 32:00Speaker 5: I guess I kind of get it.
- 32:01Speaker 4: And men just think a little bit harder about these things,
- 32:05Speaker 4: you know, like just give it as an extra thought exactly.
- 32:10Speaker 8: That has got to be the worst thing.
- 32:13Speaker 3: It'd be hard to top that one.
- 32:15Speaker 4: Yeah, thank you for calling this morning, Robin. We'll have
- 32:18Speaker 4: a great day.
- 32:18Speaker 8: Welcome you guys.
- 32:20Speaker 5: We love you.
- 32:21Speaker 1: Bye.
- 32:23Speaker 2: There are some scales like we have a scale, oh sir,
- 32:27Speaker 2: try some smart scales.
- 32:28Speaker 4: Like you know, there are some scales that just talk
- 32:31Speaker 4: to the women in your life and ask them, is
- 32:33Speaker 4: this a good gift? If they are not honest with you,
- 32:37Speaker 4: never speak to those women again. If they are honest
- 32:40Speaker 4: with you, keep them around because they can help you
- 32:42Speaker 4: buy your significant other?
- 32:43Speaker 1: Are a good gig one Ricky, Zach and Mennow in
- 32:48Speaker 1: the morning the River, It's time.
- 32:50Speaker 3: For the daily double tap, and it is.
- 32:52Speaker 2: About the commercials at the super Bowl halftime or the
- 32:55Speaker 2: super Bowl last night, but not talking.
- 32:57Speaker 5: A lot about the halftime, so I get why you.
- 33:00Speaker 2: It was way more entertaining than the game, not necessarily
- 33:02Speaker 2: like the normal conversation you have though after the super
- 33:05Speaker 2: Bowl about the commercials.
- 33:06Speaker 3: They just they weren't that great.
- 33:07Speaker 4: No, I didn't really like any of them, and a
- 33:10Speaker 4: lot of them were AI commercials, like you're shoving AI
- 33:14Speaker 4: down our throats.
- 33:15Speaker 2: And this was kind of like a popular thing discussed
- 33:18Speaker 2: on the internet last night.
- 33:19Speaker 3: Here we go, today's daily double tap.
- 33:21Speaker 9: Nearly a quarter into this game, all I've seen for
- 33:23Speaker 9: commercials is AI. I only watched the Super Bowl for
- 33:27Speaker 9: the commercials and the bad Bunny. If you're just gonna
- 33:30Speaker 9: do AI commercials, just put the stupid game back on
- 33:33Speaker 9: at this point. That's how bad it is.
- 33:36Speaker 4: Yeah, it was really bad because it was just constant AI.
- 33:40Speaker 4: Every other commercial was an AI commercial. The only commercial
- 33:44Speaker 4: that I actually liked was the Uber Eats one with
- 33:46Speaker 4: Matthew mconaey and Bradley Cooper.
- 33:48Speaker 3: Yeah, they were great. I like seeing the two of
- 33:49Speaker 3: them together was good.
- 33:51Speaker 5: Bet there was Stiller one was good with.
- 33:52Speaker 2: There was a Duncan commercial that brought back a bunch
- 33:55Speaker 2: of like ninety sitcom people like George Stanza and Joey
- 33:58Speaker 2: from Friends and Merkle and you know, the Carlton was there,
- 34:02Speaker 2: so I blew me away. Yeah, I know, I agree
- 34:04Speaker 2: with you and too
- 34:05Speaker 1: Much a I one O seven five The River, Ricky
- 34:09Speaker 1: Zach and Manow in the Morning,
