- 0:00Speaker 1: Late General, welcome the late pays.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Well, good evening and thanks for joining us. Son James Macpherson,
- 0:09Speaker 2: with Liz Storer and Caleb Bond coming up tonight. Donald
- 0:12Speaker 2: Trump has declared there's only two genders, but the Irish
- 0:15Speaker 2: politicians have just legislated to recognize seventy two. In fact,
- 0:20Speaker 2: they took twenty five minutes to name them all in parliament.
- 0:23Speaker 2: Will show you that, not the whole twenty five minutes.
- 0:25Speaker 2: A little later, plus, when we look at what's making
- 0:27Speaker 2: news tomorrow, Anthony Albanese's hand picked envoy on Islamophobia sees
- 0:32Speaker 2: he's worried Muslims are being forgotten with all the focus
- 0:35Speaker 2: on anti Semitism. What a surprise. And in Tasmania confusion
- 0:39Speaker 2: rains over drug driving laws. We'll get to all of
- 0:42Speaker 2: that shortly. I think it was Benjamin Franklin who said
- 0:46Speaker 2: there are three certainties in life, death taxes and local
- 0:49Speaker 2: Australian councils using rate payer money for their own ideological fetishes. Well,
- 0:54Speaker 2: the Mount Barker Council in Adelaide has decided to spend
- 0:58Speaker 2: five thousand dollars of rate payer money on January twenty six,
- 1:02Speaker 2: but not to celebrate Australia Day. No, Instead, they are
- 1:05Speaker 2: going to hold a Survival Day. The council advertised the
- 1:09Speaker 2: event on their Facebook page. The advertisement read marking Survival
- 1:14Speaker 2: Day twenty twenty five. The Ruby Hunter Foundation Incorporated and
- 1:18Speaker 2: the Perramang Council that's the local indigenous group, invite you
- 1:22Speaker 2: to gather at Laratanga Pavilion in Mount Barker on January
- 1:26Speaker 2: twenty six to respectfully mark Perramang What a Survival Day.
- 1:31Speaker 2: This year's free Survival Day community event is believed to
- 1:33Speaker 2: be the only one happening in the Adelaide Hills Woo
- 1:36Speaker 2: and will feature a VIP Elders tent well like whoa
- 1:40Speaker 2: VIP elders.
- 1:42Speaker 3: Like the ones I saw at the tennis yesterday?
- 1:45Speaker 1: The VIP tent. Do they have free grol because I'm in?
- 1:49Speaker 2: I don't think you can get in, Caleb because you're
- 1:51Speaker 2: not an elder of the wrong skin color. There'll be speakers,
- 1:54Speaker 2: There'll be music, dance, poetry, stores and on and on
- 1:57Speaker 2: it goes. Now a couple of things. The event is
- 2:00Speaker 2: not free, it's subsidized by five thousand dollars from local ratepayers.
- 2:05Speaker 2: And the event's not that popular, as evidence by the
- 2:08Speaker 2: fact that Mount Barker Council removed comments from their Facebook
- 2:12Speaker 2: post not long after it was put online. In fact,
- 2:15Speaker 2: one Mount Barker counselor decided to go on Facebook and
- 2:20Speaker 2: conduct her own poll, you know, to see what residents
- 2:23Speaker 2: constituents might think. She surveyed six hundred and forty five
- 2:28Speaker 2: locals and found eighty five percent of them did not
- 2:31Speaker 2: support their money being spent in this fashion. Well that's
- 2:34Speaker 2: when the local mayor, David Leach found out about it
- 2:37Speaker 2: and ordered her to remove the pole because apparently polling
- 2:41Speaker 2: constituents as to how they would like their money to
- 2:44Speaker 2: be spent breaches behavioral standards. Now, when councilor Rebecca Hewitt
- 2:49Speaker 2: tried to talk about this in the next council meeting,
- 2:53Speaker 2: the mayor David Leach reportedly continually interrupted her, claiming that
- 2:58Speaker 2: just by talking about it, she was causing harm to
- 3:01Speaker 2: Indigenous people. When asked by the media how he knew this,
- 3:05Speaker 2: the mayor applied quote, I know that her words have
- 3:08Speaker 2: resulted in harm because Aboriginal people who are my friends
- 3:12Speaker 2: and people I meet on the street tell me they
- 3:14Speaker 2: have been harmed by these words. And so Survival Day
- 3:18Speaker 2: will go ahead in Mount Barker paid for by local
- 3:22Speaker 2: rate payers. Of course, local opinions will be ignored. In fact,
- 3:26Speaker 2: it breaches behavioral standards to even solicit local opinion, and
- 3:31Speaker 2: any discussion to the contrary will be deemed harmful because
- 3:35Speaker 2: the mayor Caleb has friends.
- 3:38Speaker 3: Well, I am glad to know that the standard has
- 3:40Speaker 3: now been set that if the mayor has spoken to
- 3:43Speaker 3: someone who has told him that they are harmed by
- 3:46Speaker 3: a counselor saying that spending five thousand dollars of public
- 3:49Speaker 3: money on an event to say that Australia Day is bad,
- 3:52Speaker 3: that is that is.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Harmful because they said so.
- 3:55Speaker 3: Well, the existence of David Leech I find personally harmful.
- 3:59Speaker 1: I'm harmed and hurt by it.
- 4:01Speaker 3: And so David Leach must cease to be mayor if
- 4:04Speaker 3: he really wants to stop.
- 4:06Speaker 1: I feel harm. I mean if I say overel.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Hard, surely it means I think the measure.
- 4:10Speaker 1: All feelings are.
- 4:11Speaker 3: Valid, particularly mine, of course, So that's it. That's the
- 4:15Speaker 3: end of David Leach's career. Leach by name, Leech by nature,
- 4:20Speaker 3: it would seem. And when he was asked, because he
- 4:23Speaker 3: has disputed this polling that the counselor did on Facebook
- 4:27Speaker 3: consider that that's nonsense. I actually think the majority of
- 4:31Speaker 3: rate payers actually do support a spending money on Survival.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Day or Invasion Day, whatever you want to call it.
- 4:38Speaker 3: And he was pressed on that, how do you know that?
- 4:40Speaker 1: Have you taken your he reckons? They've done market.
- 4:43Speaker 3: Research that tells them that the majority of people in
- 4:46Speaker 3: the council supports.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Such a thing. I'd love you to.
- 4:50Speaker 3: Produce that piece of market research, David, please if you
- 4:53Speaker 3: can find it. My email address is Caleb dot Bond
- 4:57Speaker 3: at skynews dot com dot au. I am more than
- 5:00Speaker 3: happy to show it here on SCAR News tomorrow night.
- 5:03Speaker 3: If you can send me that market research. I will
- 5:06Speaker 3: wait for it, mister Leach, because something tells me it
- 5:08Speaker 3: doesn't exist, because only last week the IPA released to
- 5:12Speaker 3: Poul showing that sixty nine percent of Australians support Australia
- 5:16Speaker 3: Day being on January twenty sixth, So I don't know
- 5:19Speaker 3: what sort of market research they're doing up in Mount Barker.
- 5:23Speaker 4: Well, the thirty one percent remaining are obviously concentrated in
- 5:27Speaker 4: Mount Park, so that's where getting his market research from.
- 5:31Speaker 4: But this is such a classic case of having your
- 5:34Speaker 4: cake and scoffing it too, because the Mark Council Mount
- 5:38Speaker 4: Barker Council actually are still having a citizenship ceremony on
- 5:43Speaker 4: January twenty six to celebrate Australia Day as well. So
- 5:47Speaker 4: it's literally just like whether you love or hate Australia Day,
- 5:51Speaker 4: here at the Mount Barker Council, we have something for you.
- 5:56Speaker 5: Now.
- 5:57Speaker 4: I genuinely believe that these events will just fade out
- 6:00Speaker 4: into obscurity because much like the what were they calling it,
- 6:06Speaker 4: the Australia Day Council of South Australia, both these are
- 6:09Speaker 4: in South Australia.
- 6:11Speaker 5: That what's going on morning in the morning.
- 6:14Speaker 4: We were talking about this last week.
- 6:16Speaker 5: Nobody's going to show up.
- 6:17Speaker 4: It's going to be poorly attended. And these councils and
- 6:21Speaker 4: other organizations who are insisting on pushing what is revealed
- 6:26Speaker 4: by every poll on the topic as a wildly unpopular
- 6:29Speaker 4: narrative nowadays, they're just going to stop doing.
- 6:32Speaker 5: It because it's not lucrative.
- 6:35Speaker 4: This is what I've said several times about Welcome to
- 6:37Speaker 4: Country as well, until they can hear and see the
- 6:41Speaker 4: disapproval of the people attending their events, whatever that event
- 6:45Speaker 4: may be.
- 6:45Speaker 5: They are going to keep it up. I encourage people
- 6:48Speaker 5: to boo.
- 6:49Speaker 4: I boo on planes, I boo in crowded theaters, I
- 6:52Speaker 4: bow at the footy where a lot of people boo
- 6:55Speaker 4: with me, because until the organizers can see these isn't working.
- 7:01Speaker 4: We are trying to waterboard people with this narrative that
- 7:05Speaker 4: something should be recognized that is actually meaningless and doesn't
- 7:09Speaker 4: do anything to increase the quality of life for Indigenous
- 7:12Speaker 4: people in Australia.
- 7:13Speaker 5: They're going to keep it up.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Well, I mean the proof is in their Facebook page
- 7:20Speaker 2: bragging that this is the only one happening in the
- 7:22Speaker 2: Adelaide Hills. Well, of course it's the only one happened,
- 7:25Speaker 2: and that would be why no one really wants it.
- 7:26Speaker 2: But the concerning part, of course, is that the mayor
- 7:28Speaker 2: tries to shut down any discussion, claiming it's harmful to
- 7:32Speaker 2: even talk about it.
- 7:33Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, and same with the Facebook mess like the
- 7:36Speaker 4: comments they posted this, and on the very same day
- 7:40Speaker 4: that they posted it, January seventeenth, they then posted a
- 7:44Speaker 4: comment underneath it saying we are now closing comments because
- 7:48Speaker 4: they couldn't hack the feed back please and livered snowflake.
- 7:54Speaker 3: But may have tried to tell the counselor about the
- 7:56Speaker 3: Facebook posted. By having the post up, it was in
- 7:58Speaker 3: breach of the rule and regulations and behaviors like Okay,
- 8:04Speaker 3: so a counselor actually asks the community what they think
- 8:08Speaker 3: about something the council.
- 8:09Speaker 1: That is doing that is against the rules. You shouldn't
- 8:12Speaker 1: be doing that. I mean, seriously, give me a break.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Now we're saying all this stuff is going out of fashion.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Survival day, this is done right. We have moved on.
- 8:20Speaker 3: Wope is starting to die, and it's certainly dying over
- 8:23Speaker 3: in America. One of the first things Donald Trump has
- 8:26Speaker 3: done with his newfound presidency second time round is to
- 8:30Speaker 3: get rid of all the DEI employees in the public
- 8:34Speaker 3: service in America. And that should be noted that they
- 8:36Speaker 3: are actually on leave at the moment, but the plan
- 8:40Speaker 3: is that they will all be put out of work. Eventually,
- 8:42Speaker 3: their departments will be pulled apart. Their services are no
- 8:46Speaker 3: longer required because woke is dead in America. This is
- 8:50Speaker 3: the order that has been sent out to staff telling
- 8:53Speaker 3: them what's going on. They're going to send an agency
- 8:55Speaker 3: wide notice to employees informing them of the closure and
- 8:58Speaker 3: asking employees if they know of any efforts to disguise
- 9:01Speaker 3: these programs by using coded or imprecise language. Seen a
- 9:05Speaker 3: notification to all employees or DEA officers that they are
- 9:09Speaker 3: being placed on paid administrative leave, effective immediately, as the
- 9:13Speaker 3: agency take steps to close, slash, end all DEI initiatives, offices,
- 9:17Speaker 3: and programs, and take down all outward facing media such
- 9:21Speaker 3: as website social media accounts of texture of de IA officers.
- 9:27Speaker 1: It is over. DEI is dead in America.
- 9:31Speaker 3: And of course we talked last week about the fact
- 9:32Speaker 3: that Facebook now has dismantled their DEI policies. Lots of
- 9:36Speaker 3: companies now are walking away from DEI because they realized
- 9:40Speaker 3: they don't have to suck up.
- 9:42Speaker 1: To anyone anymore.
- 9:43Speaker 3: It was always window dressing all this consumer We must
- 9:46Speaker 3: have lots of minorities. It's only because that's what they
- 9:49Speaker 3: thought the rest of corporate America was doing and what
- 9:51Speaker 3: the rest of the corporate world was doing. And now
- 9:53Speaker 3: that people actually feel in boldened to say no, we
- 9:55Speaker 3: think that's a load of crap. Everyone else is coming
- 9:57Speaker 3: out and saying it's load of crap. Who would have
- 10:00Speaker 3: thought that this was never real in the first place.
- 10:03Speaker 3: And something else Trump has done quite rightly, something I
- 10:06Speaker 3: would like to see happen in this country. And Peter
- 10:10Speaker 3: Dutton has talked about this that if and when he
- 10:13Speaker 3: becomes Prime Minister he will only stand in front of
- 10:16Speaker 3: the Australian flag. Well, Donald Trump now says that on
- 10:19Speaker 3: American government properties, be they in America or overseas, so
- 10:24Speaker 3: embassies and the like are to only fly one flag,
- 10:29Speaker 3: the US flag. There'll be no more pride flags, no
- 10:32Speaker 3: more trans flags, no more black Lives matters flags. There
- 10:35Speaker 3: is one flag for the United States, he posted online,
- 10:40Speaker 3: starting immediately, only the United States of America flag is
- 10:43Speaker 3: authorized to be flown or displayed at US facilities, both
- 10:47Speaker 3: domestic and abroad, and featured in US government content. The
- 10:50Speaker 3: Flag of the United States of America united all Americans
- 10:54Speaker 3: under the universal principles of liberty, justice, and democracy, These
- 10:58Speaker 3: values which are the bedrock of our great country, shared
- 11:01Speaker 3: by American citizens past and present. And just to add
- 11:06Speaker 3: to it a little bit more, you know, Donald Trump,
- 11:09Speaker 3: they said all the economy is going to be stuffed now.
- 11:11Speaker 3: All the economists were coming out before the election and
- 11:14Speaker 3: saying tariffs, it's going to be terrible for America. No
- 11:16Speaker 3: one's going to want to invest in America because it's
- 11:19Speaker 3: going to be so expensive to do so. But since
- 11:22Speaker 3: becoming president, just yesterday, three trillion dollars have flowed into America.
- 11:28Speaker 6: Tackle look total, before the end of my first full
- 11:32Speaker 6: business day in Washington and the White House, we've already
- 11:37Speaker 6: secured nearly three trillion dollars of new investments in the
- 11:41Speaker 6: United States, and probably that's going to be six or
- 11:43Speaker 6: seven by the end of the week. Tremendous amounts of
- 11:47Speaker 6: money are coming in for for many things other than
- 11:51Speaker 6: even AIAI seems to be very hot. It seems to
- 11:55Speaker 6: be the thing that a lot of smart people are
- 11:57Speaker 6: looking at very strongly, and our country will be prospering
- 12:01Speaker 6: like never before.
- 12:01Speaker 7: It.
- 12:03Speaker 3: I feel a bit sorry for the Trump story. He
- 12:05Speaker 3: sounds a bit lethargic there because he's had a very
- 12:08Speaker 3: long time after the inauguration, all the balls he had
- 12:11Speaker 3: to go to, etcetera.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Soelf cut him a little bit of slack.
- 12:13Speaker 3: But you know, he is starting to turn things around.
- 12:16Speaker 3: I mean, he was turning it around before he was
- 12:17Speaker 3: even inaugurated.
- 12:19Speaker 1: The work that Trump has.
- 12:20Speaker 3: Done in what two months since he was elected, just
- 12:24Speaker 3: to change the culture of the United States, which has
- 12:27Speaker 3: now moved on to the corporate world, et cetera. Has
- 12:30Speaker 3: been absolutely extraord He's.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Done more in one day for the United States than
- 12:34Speaker 2: Joe Biden did in four years for the United States.
- 12:37Speaker 2: So imagine what the world is going to be like.
- 12:38Speaker 3: He's done.
- 12:39Speaker 2: America will be like.
- 12:39Speaker 3: He's done more good for the He's necessarily done more
- 12:42Speaker 3: than Biden has done for it.
- 12:44Speaker 1: But what Biden did wasn't good.
- 12:45Speaker 2: But you look at the good Trump has done in
- 12:47Speaker 2: one day. Imagine after four years the absolute turnaround. It's
- 12:50Speaker 2: quite miraculous in terms of getting rid of all the
- 12:53Speaker 2: DEI stuff. I mean, it turns out saving public money
- 12:56Speaker 2: is quite easy if you've got a brain. Just feel
- 12:58Speaker 2: sorry for all of these fours DEI officers. Could you
- 13:01Speaker 2: imagine having on your resume as you go for your
- 13:04Speaker 2: next job previous employment US government DEI officer, No one
- 13:09Speaker 2: is going to want to know anything about you.
- 13:12Speaker 4: Move to a Democrat state, you'll find at home.
- 13:16Speaker 2: We're welcome you.
- 13:17Speaker 3: I just take it off my resume because whether it's
- 13:20Speaker 3: there or not, it still says you've.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Got no qualification.
- 13:23Speaker 2: So what's the difference.
- 13:25Speaker 4: In the lefty land, though, they will still be able
- 13:28Speaker 4: to find places of employment. But like you say, they
- 13:31Speaker 4: are now useless in terms of finding an actual, real job.
- 13:35Speaker 4: Who the heck would want to hire these people? If
- 13:37Speaker 4: you're a DEI manager or a DEI anything, what is
- 13:40Speaker 4: your actual job instead of overseeing the brainwashing the indoctrination
- 13:46Speaker 4: of your entire department.
- 13:48Speaker 2: It's worse than regarded as useless. They're now an object
- 13:51Speaker 2: of derision. And that's the great thing that Trump has done.
- 13:54Speaker 2: He's not only said this is wrong, he's pointed out
- 13:56Speaker 2: why it's ridiculous, and he's made amongst conservatives way you
- 14:00Speaker 2: destroy the d which it always was.
- 14:02Speaker 4: So I'm saying they will definitely find homes because what
- 14:05Speaker 4: is happening as we speak. Yes, the conservatives are back
- 14:09Speaker 4: on top. Yeah baby, let justice roar. But the lefties
- 14:14Speaker 4: will be recalibrating. They will absolutely be going back to
- 14:18Speaker 4: the drawing board.
- 14:19Speaker 5: They will be getting together in clusters.
- 14:22Speaker 4: The Democratic States are going to be beaming with that
- 14:26Speaker 4: blue light as they get together and ensure that they
- 14:30Speaker 4: are taking care of their own and preparing for the future.
- 14:34Speaker 5: So I have no doubt those.
- 14:35Speaker 4: People will have jobs to go to, just certainly not
- 14:39Speaker 4: in a red state and certainly not in the Trump administration.
- 14:42Speaker 4: But pay close attention to the first point we read
- 14:46Speaker 4: out there send an agency wide notice to employees informing
- 14:49Speaker 4: them a closure and asking employees if they know of
- 14:52Speaker 4: any efforts to disguise these programs by using couded or
- 14:56Speaker 4: imprecise language.
- 14:58Speaker 5: Now, the reason why the Trump.
- 15:00Speaker 4: Administration has done this is because they are well aware
- 15:03Speaker 4: that in many Biden administration departments, these DEI type projects
- 15:10Speaker 4: that were bleeding money weren't called DEI projects. They would
- 15:16Speaker 4: be under some sort of oh Weather, Department of People
- 15:20Speaker 4: and Culture, etc.
- 15:22Speaker 5: And so on.
- 15:22Speaker 4: So he's trying to weed out the ones that are
- 15:26Speaker 4: trying to exist beneath the surface and aren't so like,
- 15:30Speaker 4: we fly the flag and we preach the sermons. But
- 15:34Speaker 4: speaking of preaching the sermons and speaking of DEI hires,
- 15:39Speaker 4: check out the church that the new administration chose to
- 15:43Speaker 4: attend the day after the inauguration. They took themselves to
- 15:47Speaker 4: an Episcopalian church in Washington, DC, and what you're about
- 15:53Speaker 4: to hear is some of the sermon from their bishop,
- 15:57Speaker 4: Marion Edgar Budy.
- 16:00Speaker 5: She's the first woman to hold the position.
- 16:04Speaker 8: In the name of our God, I ask you to
- 16:09Speaker 8: have mercy upon the people in our country who we're scared.
- 16:14Speaker 9: Now.
- 16:16Speaker 8: There are gay, lesbian, and transgender children in Democratic, Republican
- 16:23Speaker 8: and independent families, some who fear for their.
- 16:28Speaker 5: Lives for shame. So there you are.
- 16:33Speaker 4: I don't know much about the Episcopalian church, but there's
- 16:37Speaker 4: your bishop in Washington pleading with the new president of
- 16:41Speaker 4: the United States to I don't know, do what for
- 16:45Speaker 4: what the scriptures very clearly call a lifestyle of abomination.
- 16:50Speaker 4: So I don't know where this woman's coming from. This
- 16:54Speaker 4: our God that she's referring to certainly is not.
- 16:58Speaker 5: The Christian God. But it gets worse. She then moved
- 17:03Speaker 5: on to, you know, you should really.
- 17:05Speaker 4: Let illegal aliens stay in the country. This woman wasn't
- 17:09Speaker 4: satisfied with flying the rabo flag in her own church
- 17:14Speaker 4: and on the world stage as the world is watching.
- 17:18Speaker 2: No.
- 17:18Speaker 5: No, she then turned to this other hot topic.
- 17:22Speaker 4: And instead of unifying America around what could have been
- 17:26Speaker 4: an incredibly strong, awesome Christian message at the dawn of
- 17:31Speaker 4: a new era underneath this new administration, No, she's lecturing
- 17:38Speaker 4: the guy on basically doing a one eighty on one
- 17:42Speaker 4: of his key election promises.
- 17:45Speaker 8: The people who pick our crops and clean our office buildings,
- 17:50Speaker 8: who labor in poultry farms and meatpacking plants, who ashed
- 17:54Speaker 8: the dishes after we eat in restaurants and work the
- 17:57Speaker 8: night shifts and hospitals. They may not be citizens or
- 18:02Speaker 8: have the proper documentation, but the vast majority of immigrants
- 18:07Speaker 8: are not criminals.
- 18:10Speaker 5: There's few things I had as much as blasphemy.
- 18:12Speaker 4: From a poolpp But didn't you love the faces of both.
- 18:16Speaker 5: Trump and Vance? Like the eye roll? The internal eye
- 18:20Speaker 5: roll was palpable.
- 18:22Speaker 4: But coming back to Australia and speaking of DEEI we
- 18:25Speaker 4: know that Dutton has made some great calls in terms
- 18:28Speaker 4: of there'll only be one flag should I be in government,
- 18:32Speaker 4: and also making sure that Australia Day is celebrated as
- 18:36Speaker 4: a proud day in our nation. All good things and
- 18:40Speaker 4: we've all been applauding. But when asked today about whether
- 18:45Speaker 4: or not him cracking down on PC behavior and entering
- 18:50Speaker 4: into the culture wars, finally a budding prime minister happy
- 18:54Speaker 4: to do so, he said that that would not extend
- 18:58Speaker 4: to following in Trump's footsteps, i e.
- 19:01Speaker 5: Leaving the Paris Accord here he was today.
- 19:05Speaker 9: I think that the debate about the twenty thirty five.
- 19:07Speaker 9: Target is a very real one because at the moment
- 19:10Speaker 9: Australians can't afford to pay their grocery bills, they can't
- 19:13Speaker 9: afford to pay their insurance bills, they can't afford to
- 19:16Speaker 9: pay their school fees, and the bills just keep sacking
- 19:19Speaker 9: up under Anthony Alberinsia. Now the Prime minister's proposing to
- 19:23Speaker 9: drive up electricity prices even higher, but he just won't
- 19:26Speaker 9: tell you by how much.
- 19:27Speaker 2: Would a coalition government remain in the Paris.
- 19:29Speaker 9: Court, Yes, we will, and I've said that before.
- 19:33Speaker 5: Someone make that make sense.
- 19:34Speaker 4: You just contradicted absolutely everything you said prior to that
- 19:40Speaker 4: last little bit there. Don't talk Trump's talk and hope
- 19:44Speaker 4: that it's going to whist you into Parliament as Prime
- 19:48Speaker 4: minister if you're not going to walk the walk. We
- 19:52Speaker 4: all know Australia is failing dismally at every target under
- 19:57Speaker 4: the Paris Agreement anyway, So whose interests are you serving?
- 20:02Speaker 4: Trump has pulled out of the Paris Accords because he
- 20:06Speaker 4: is America first. It is not serving America's best interest
- 20:10Speaker 4: and so he's out. Well, guess what, it's not serving
- 20:13Speaker 4: Australia's best interests either. So who's interests are are you
- 20:20Speaker 4: looking after here? Because it's not ours.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Well, I think he's looking after his own interests. He's
- 20:25Speaker 2: starting to make great headway in the polls. He looks
- 20:28Speaker 2: for all money, like you'll actually turn Elbin Eesy into
- 20:31Speaker 2: a one term prime minister. And so whatever he might
- 20:33Speaker 2: believe privately about the Paris Accords, he's not touching that.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Have you noticed he's done nothing.
- 20:38Speaker 4: Then you're insinuating that leaving the accords would lose him,
- 20:41Speaker 4: but we know that the opposite is true.
- 20:43Speaker 2: I'm not insinuating that. I think I'm simply saying I
- 20:45Speaker 2: think he's being very pragmatic as a politician. He hasn't
- 20:48Speaker 2: touched transgender issues either. Another obvious one. But why would
- 20:52Speaker 2: he take heat from the media when he's clearly got
- 20:54Speaker 2: his nose in front. He's happy to just keep trucking.
- 20:57Speaker 2: Don't upset the apple card.
- 20:58Speaker 3: Well, he's also got the teal set on his shoulder.
- 21:01Speaker 3: And that's the push and pull of the Liberal Party
- 21:04Speaker 3: at the moment, in the same way that the Labor
- 21:06Speaker 3: Party has experienced this in terms of a desire to
- 21:09Speaker 3: go further to the left to try and abate Green's
- 21:11Speaker 3: votes in the inner city.
- 21:12Speaker 1: The Liberal Party now.
- 21:13Speaker 3: Has to wrestle with the idea of whether they go
- 21:15Speaker 3: further to the left to try and a bake till
- 21:17Speaker 3: votes in the inner city and not just the unity
- 21:20Speaker 3: some of the richer suburban parts of Australia as well.
- 21:24Speaker 3: That's the biggest problem for him is that there are
- 21:26Speaker 3: very powerful people within his party who absolutely believe that
- 21:31Speaker 3: we must remain as part of the Paris Accord. And
- 21:34Speaker 3: if you go around starting to say, well, I'm going
- 21:36Speaker 3: to do something about that, he'll have to deal with
- 21:38Speaker 3: the fallout of it within the party. It will be
- 21:41Speaker 3: ripped into That's the troubled line that he is trying
- 21:46Speaker 3: to walk. But I think the problem is that if
- 21:49Speaker 3: you cannot clearly state what a position is for your party,
- 21:52Speaker 3: and that was not a clear statement that was on
- 21:55Speaker 3: one hand, I believe this, but on the other I'm
- 21:56Speaker 3: going to do this, you end up in this blomonde.
- 21:59Speaker 1: You've not actually leaving it in anything at all.
- 22:02Speaker 5: It is so weak, it's so pathetic.
- 22:05Speaker 4: You can't say, as this headline did today, oh Australia
- 22:08Speaker 4: has had enough of DEI and when they're sick of
- 22:11Speaker 4: the PC stuff, and it doesn't pay the bills and
- 22:15Speaker 4: then at the same time be like, even though there's
- 22:17Speaker 4: a lot of momentum behind it, at the moment, I'm
- 22:20Speaker 4: not going to pull out of the most expensive commitment
- 22:24Speaker 4: our nation's ever made, which is not to us but
- 22:28Speaker 4: to global powers. This is a World Economic Forum agenda,
- 22:32Speaker 4: This is a United Nations agenda. The people who pull
- 22:35Speaker 4: these strings none of us elected, and we don't care
- 22:39Speaker 4: about what they think is best. We want what's best
- 22:42Speaker 4: for our nation. I just think it's so incredibly hypocritical
- 22:48Speaker 4: that he is writing Trump's coat tails and loving all
- 22:52Speaker 4: the Oh, yes, let's diss DEI, let's get into these
- 22:56Speaker 4: culture wars, when the most expensive part all the culture was, buddy,
- 23:02Speaker 4: is the climate stuff. So if you're going to keep
- 23:05Speaker 4: worshiping at that altar, how many people in that spiel
- 23:08Speaker 4: that you just did are going to make life more
- 23:11Speaker 4: affordable under a liberal government if you're the boss?
- 23:15Speaker 2: Well here why he couldn't wait to just dismiss that question.
- 23:17Speaker 2: You notice he didn't try to justify why he would
- 23:19Speaker 2: remain part of the Paris Accords. He just said, yes,
- 23:22Speaker 2: we'll be part of it. Move on. But I do
- 23:24Speaker 2: like what Anthony Albanezi said, because Albanzi now of course,
- 23:27Speaker 2: is running a scare campaign. Not scary for us. It
- 23:30Speaker 2: would be wonderful if the Liberal Party ditched the Paris Accords.
- 23:33Speaker 2: But Albanezi is saying, dont's going to walk away from it.
- 23:36Speaker 2: Listen to what Elbanezi said. He said, if you walk
- 23:38Speaker 2: away from the Paris Accords, you'll be standing with Libya,
- 23:42Speaker 2: Yemen and Iran. Well, wouldn't that be bad to stand
- 23:46Speaker 2: with those guys? Head on a second, hasn't our government
- 23:49Speaker 2: been voting in the UN to stand Iran and Libya
- 23:52Speaker 2: in terms of like Israel votes? Or talk about hypocrites,
- 23:56Speaker 2: I mean they're everywhere and or.
- 23:57Speaker 1: All those billions and billions and billions.
- 23:59Speaker 3: Of dollar is that our closest ally gave to Iran
- 24:02Speaker 3: under the Biden administration. I mean, for Heaven's sake, we
- 24:05Speaker 3: would actually we wouldn't be standing with it. We would
- 24:07Speaker 3: be standing with our closest olly, which is the US
- 24:11Speaker 3: away from the Paris Accord.
- 24:13Speaker 2: But of course they walked away from their strongest ally,
- 24:16Speaker 2: the US when it came to Israel.
- 24:18Speaker 1: It's all over the shop.
- 24:19Speaker 3: But the thing is, the Liberal Party needs to decide
- 24:22Speaker 3: who they want their voters to be. Are you still
- 24:25Speaker 3: going to go after these teal seats in and around
- 24:29Speaker 3: the inner city, or do you go, Okay, our people
- 24:31Speaker 3: now are the country people that are served by the
- 24:34Speaker 3: Nationals and have been served by the Nationals forever, and
- 24:37Speaker 3: working class suburban people what has been traditional labor territory.
- 24:42Speaker 3: Because if you go out to the western suburbs of
- 24:45Speaker 3: Sydney and say if we get rid of the Paris
- 24:48Speaker 3: Accord and get rid of the idea of ned zero
- 24:50Speaker 3: and we can burn more coal, your power bill will
- 24:52Speaker 3: be cheaper, they will be all over it. But if
- 24:55Speaker 3: you go walking around the eastern suburbs of Sydney saying
- 24:58Speaker 3: stuff like that, or the Northern Beach, you'll get a
- 25:00Speaker 3: very different response. The Liberal Party needs to decide who
- 25:04Speaker 3: it thinks its people are, because at the moment I
- 25:06Speaker 3: think it's a bit confused.
- 25:08Speaker 2: So you talk about the Liberal Party needing to know
- 25:09Speaker 2: where they stand, to tell you where Anthony Albanese and
- 25:11Speaker 2: Chris Mins was standing. Just the other day. They were
- 25:14Speaker 2: standing out the front of a childcare center in Sydney
- 25:17Speaker 2: that had been firebombed and grafited with anti Semitic language.
- 25:22Speaker 2: They stood there and they said, all the right things
- 25:24Speaker 2: that this was disgusting, it was abhorrent. Chris Mins called
- 25:28Speaker 2: the perpetrators bastards, which was just upping the language to
- 25:32Speaker 2: make it appear like he was doing more than just
- 25:34Speaker 2: using language. But eventually it was all froth and no
- 25:37Speaker 2: beer because they decided to hold a national Cabinet meeting
- 25:41Speaker 2: only to resolve that they would talk to one of
- 25:45Speaker 2: the IT guys in the federal government to compile the
- 25:48Speaker 2: database so they could keep track of all the anti
- 25:51Speaker 2: Semitic attacks that they plan on doing something about one day.
- 25:55Speaker 2: Anthony Albanzi, however, did have some good news about anti semitism.
- 26:00Speaker 2: The head of the Australian Federal Police has said that
- 26:03Speaker 2: they are investigating the possibility that maybe these antisemitic attacks
- 26:08Speaker 2: are being paid for by foreign actors who are just
- 26:11Speaker 2: looking for dupes here in Australia, just common criminals who
- 26:14Speaker 2: are looking for some easy cash, and those are the
- 26:17Speaker 2: people who are carrying out these attacks. There's no social
- 26:20Speaker 2: cohesion problem. There's no anti Semites in Australia. No no,
- 26:24Speaker 2: There's no people acting on a religious ideology which would
- 26:27Speaker 2: cause them to think that they're obeying God by hating
- 26:29Speaker 2: on Jews. None of that, it's just local criminals looking
- 26:32Speaker 2: for a quick buck from foreign actors. Here's the Prime Minister.
- 26:37Speaker 7: It is important that people understand where some of these
- 26:42Speaker 7: attacks are coming from, and it would appear, as the
- 26:46Speaker 7: AFP Commissioner said yesterday, that some of these are being
- 26:50Speaker 7: perpetrated by people who don't have a particular issued, aren't
- 26:55Speaker 7: motivated by an ideology, but are paid actors. Now it's
- 26:59Speaker 7: unclear who or where the payments are coming from. The
- 27:06Speaker 7: AFP Commissioner will continue to do his job as the
- 27:11Speaker 7: head of Operation Aveelaide.
- 27:14Speaker 2: This guy is unbelievable. So he's decided no, no, there's
- 27:17Speaker 2: no anti semitism problem in Australia. It's all paid actors.
- 27:20Speaker 2: And did you notice the little jig he did there
- 27:23Speaker 2: when he announced that, and the smile that came across
- 27:26Speaker 2: his face as all of a sudden he had some
- 27:29Speaker 2: good news on this issue. And his good news was
- 27:31Speaker 2: it's nothing to do with me, it's nothing to do
- 27:34Speaker 2: with social cohesion. It's a foreign actors issue. I'm off
- 27:37Speaker 2: the hook. I don't have to do anything. We have
- 27:39Speaker 2: a database. We'll leave it at that.
- 27:40Speaker 3: It was like Gavin Newsoon when he did and he
- 27:43Speaker 3: was talking about, Oh, we're going to stop people from
- 27:45Speaker 3: coming and taking all the real.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Estate after the fires. Oh I finally found my escapecoats.
- 27:50Speaker 3: What Rick Kerschel said yesterday in the National Cabinet meeting
- 27:54Speaker 3: was not that these are being perpetrated by paid actors.
- 27:58Speaker 3: He said it was a line of inquiry. Now on
- 28:01Speaker 3: the front of the Daily Telegraph tomorrow it says that
- 28:03Speaker 3: the state police forces.
- 28:05Speaker 1: Were not aware of that line of inquiry.
- 28:07Speaker 3: So it's certainly not something that they have looked at
- 28:09Speaker 3: in any of the cases that they have dealt with,
- 28:11Speaker 3: or something that they have come across. And nor did
- 28:14Speaker 3: Rick Kershaw suggest that it was happening. He simply said
- 28:18Speaker 3: they were looking at the possibility of it.
- 28:20Speaker 1: That's one thing.
- 28:21Speaker 3: Then the Prime Minister comes out and says, well, we've
- 28:24Speaker 3: got to understand where these are coming from. And he's
- 28:27Speaker 3: now saying it as though it were a fact. Well,
- 28:29Speaker 3: it's not a fact yet. The police haven't established that
- 28:32Speaker 3: it's a fact. They're simply looking at the motivation behind
- 28:36Speaker 3: potential motivation behind some of these attacks. We don't have
- 28:39Speaker 3: an answer to that question yet, so we can't go
- 28:41Speaker 3: around saying well that is what has happened and even
- 28:44Speaker 3: if it were the case.
- 28:46Speaker 1: If that is what has happened, we should not.
- 28:48Speaker 3: Be surprised that foreign interference may like, or some countries
- 28:53Speaker 3: or cultures in particular, may like to sow the seeds
- 28:57Speaker 3: of social division in Western countries because they want to
- 29:01Speaker 3: pull apart the social cohesion in our countries so they
- 29:05Speaker 3: can replace it with something else. I don't think it's
- 29:08Speaker 3: any better if it is coming from paid actors who
- 29:11Speaker 3: are getting foreign money, because the end game is exactly
- 29:15Speaker 3: the same.
- 29:16Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Sharon Haskell, she went
- 29:19Speaker 2: on ABC Radio today and criticized the Australian government to
- 29:24Speaker 2: repeat of previous criticism that they've done nothing about anti Semitism.
- 29:27Speaker 2: In fact, they are giving permission to anti Semites in
- 29:31Speaker 2: this country. Have listened to what she said?
- 29:34Speaker 10: Obviously the attitude of the current Australian government towards Israel
- 29:42Speaker 10: is inflaming a lot of these emotions and giving, I guess,
- 29:48Speaker 10: some acceptance.
- 29:49Speaker 5: When you do not fight it.
- 29:52Speaker 10: I mean, what are they waiting for for someone to die,
- 29:55Speaker 10: for someone to be murdered.
- 29:58Speaker 2: Well, they weren't actually waiting for someone be murdered. They
- 30:00Speaker 2: were just waiting for a children's play center to be
- 30:03Speaker 2: firebombed before they did anything, and when they did something,
- 30:06Speaker 2: they produced a database. Tony Burke was not copying any
- 30:10Speaker 2: of that. He says. The government is acting on all
- 30:12Speaker 2: of this.
- 30:13Speaker 11: The whole reason we established Operation Avelite was to make
- 30:17Speaker 11: sure there were dedicated resources specifically for this. We have
- 30:21Speaker 11: zero tolerance for bigotry in this country. We have zero
- 30:25Speaker 11: tolerance for the anti Semitism and the violence that we've seen.
- 30:28Speaker 11: And no matter what view people have on conflicts on
- 30:33Speaker 11: the other side of the world, if there's one thing
- 30:35Speaker 11: I hear from every Australians that they do not want
- 30:38Speaker 11: bigotry imported here.
- 30:42Speaker 2: I'm trying to understand when you keep saying you have
- 30:44Speaker 2: zero tolerance for a certain thing, and that thing for
- 30:47Speaker 2: which you have zero tolerance continues to happen over and
- 30:51Speaker 2: over again. There's been an anti Semitic attack in this
- 30:54Speaker 2: country almost every day since January first. At what point
- 30:59Speaker 2: do the government say, you know what, it keeps happening.
- 31:02Speaker 2: It's clear that we are tolerating this. You can't say
- 31:05Speaker 2: you don't tolerate something that keeps on happening over and
- 31:08Speaker 2: over when you're the government and you're in charge.
- 31:11Speaker 4: I just I don't know about the level of blame
- 31:14Speaker 4: that's being laid at these guys's door. We know that
- 31:17Speaker 4: this is let's say there's twenty perpetrators.
- 31:20Speaker 5: Nine of them have already been.
- 31:21Speaker 4: Arrested by Strikeforce PEERL.
- 31:24Speaker 2: You say already south West forteen months. Nine arrests in
- 31:27Speaker 2: fifteen months is not like allready, But.
- 31:29Speaker 4: We're talking about Strikeforce PEERL is New South Wales specific.
- 31:34Speaker 5: Now.
- 31:34Speaker 4: These guys have actually done a brilliant job at arresting
- 31:37Speaker 4: these guys. Nine individuals we've got so far in fifty
- 31:41Speaker 4: nine charges laid. Those instances haven't been over the last
- 31:47Speaker 4: fifteen months. You're dating back to October Sex you're talking
- 31:51Speaker 4: about police chases of.
- 31:52Speaker 5: Fire bombing, etcetera, and so on.
- 31:54Speaker 4: Anyway, what I'm trying to say is they've doubled detectives.
- 31:59Speaker 4: There's now forty on Strikeforce PERL. There's three hundred patrols
- 32:04Speaker 4: a day here in New South Wales with regards to.
- 32:07Speaker 5: The hot spots suburbs.
- 32:09Speaker 4: Particularly those suburbs which are heavily populated by Jewish people.
- 32:15Speaker 5: So it's not that nothing is being done.
- 32:17Speaker 4: And what I keep coming back to every time we
- 32:20Speaker 4: keep laying it heavy on Albanisi, and let's be clear,
- 32:25Speaker 4: none of us think that he's been very strong on
- 32:27Speaker 4: this from the very beginning.
- 32:29Speaker 5: That's not what I'm saying.
- 32:30Speaker 4: What I am saying is the people perpetrating these attacks.
- 32:34Speaker 4: I find it very hard to believe that they would
- 32:37Speaker 4: even know the name of our prime minister, much less
- 32:40Speaker 4: where is cabinets dead. They are not watching the press conferences.
- 32:45Speaker 12: They are the MUDs that we are literally banking on
- 32:50Speaker 12: the fact that their sentiments and their actions are born
- 32:55Speaker 12: of the.
- 32:56Speaker 4: Less than enthusiastic condemnation of these acts that we see
- 33:00Speaker 4: from Albouran Easy.
- 33:01Speaker 5: I just think it's.
- 33:02Speaker 4: Such a stress sagging it like it's absolute gospel. Let
- 33:07Speaker 4: me tell you, I genuinely believe these individuals would do
- 33:11Speaker 4: it regardless.
- 33:12Speaker 12: Okay, absolutely.
- 33:15Speaker 4: If you want to argue that these people are genuine
- 33:19Speaker 4: anti semi you hate Jews, it would.
- 33:22Speaker 5: Make not one whit of difference if you go to it,
- 33:26Speaker 5: make no difference whatsoever.
- 33:28Speaker 2: Go to a pro Palestinian rally, as I have a
- 33:30Speaker 2: couple of times here in Sydney. It is highly political.
- 33:33Speaker 2: They are very well informed and every speaker updates to.
- 33:36Speaker 4: Maggie that is so disingenuous. Most of the times we've
- 33:40Speaker 4: played their clips, we talk.
- 33:41Speaker 5: About how stupid they are. Clips don't even know what
- 33:44Speaker 5: from the river.
- 33:45Speaker 4: To the sea means, or which river or witch sea.
- 33:48Speaker 4: You can't say they're stupid and then say they're highly educated,
- 33:52Speaker 4: which is it.
- 33:53Speaker 2: We've played clips of individuals twenty seconds thirty seconds of idiots,
- 33:57Speaker 2: and you get an idiot in any crowd. But if
- 33:59Speaker 2: you go to one of their allies and attend for
- 34:01Speaker 2: an hour or two and listen to speaker after speaker,
- 34:04Speaker 2: they are highly political. They know what's happening.
- 34:06Speaker 4: Do you think it's the speaker type levels of protesters
- 34:10Speaker 4: that are literally graffitiing kill.
- 34:12Speaker 5: Israel and Lamara and misspelling Israel.
- 34:16Speaker 1: People are not the sharpest.
- 34:18Speaker 5: Knives in the drawers.
- 34:19Speaker 4: They're not like, oh yes, they probably wouldn't even know
- 34:22Speaker 4: the Prime minister people who attend these to you, Kaylor,
- 34:27Speaker 4: But it is very possibly, But it's.
- 34:29Speaker 3: But the point is that it's a culture that is
- 34:31Speaker 3: allowed to fest to buy. A lack of action from
- 34:34Speaker 3: the top doesn't mean these people are taking direct gospel
- 34:36Speaker 3: from the Prime Minister.
- 34:37Speaker 4: Well, the States are definitely taking It is a culture
- 34:40Speaker 4: that is allowed to fester because you don't have leadership
- 34:43Speaker 4: at the political levels.
- 34:44Speaker 3: By the way, if you see James at a pro
- 34:47Speaker 3: Palestinian rally, please get a photo of him in the
- 34:50Speaker 3: kefi we want to be.
- 34:51Speaker 1: Wanting to see.
- 34:52Speaker 2: I saw I saw Greens leader David Shubridge at one
- 34:54Speaker 2: and he said, oh hi James. Goodness, and of all
- 34:58Speaker 2: the places to think that set me was he didn't
- 35:00Speaker 2: express any surprise at me being there, and he's got
- 35:04Speaker 2: taken a bed And then he came to a show
- 35:06Speaker 2: with it on Sky and I interviewed him and as
- 35:09Speaker 2: he left the set he said, well, I see you
- 35:11Speaker 2: on Saturday. No, it was research.
- 35:15Speaker 1: You are getting.
- 35:18Speaker 3: Getting a wrap very quickly before we go to a break.
- 35:22Speaker 1: I must apologize.
- 35:23Speaker 3: I've got something stuck in my throat tonight and it's
- 35:25Speaker 3: not help but laughing that I am now doing it James,
- 35:28Speaker 3: but I must change my TAC because this is an
- 35:30Speaker 3: important story out of the UK. A nurse has had
- 35:34Speaker 3: to go after the workplace tribunal equivalent of course over
- 35:37Speaker 3: there in the UK because the NHS her employer. He's
- 35:41Speaker 3: saying that she must call a doctor who is a
- 35:44Speaker 3: biological male, but says that he is a woman by
- 35:49Speaker 3: she her. Now, this nurse came a cropper because she
- 35:53Speaker 3: had walked into the female change room at her place
- 35:56Speaker 3: of work on three occasions and found this doctor in there.
- 36:00Speaker 3: On the third occasion, she took it up with the
- 36:02Speaker 3: doctor and said, well, excuse me, you're a man, what
- 36:05Speaker 3: are you doing in my change room? That led to
- 36:08Speaker 3: an argument and then eventually has led to discipline. Now,
- 36:13Speaker 3: all of this will feature around the idea that it
- 36:17Speaker 3: is quote unquote, and this is what the doctor's lawyers
- 36:20Speaker 3: are arguing quote unquote state sanctioned harassment if the nurse
- 36:25Speaker 3: continues to call him a hymn instead of her, because
- 36:31Speaker 3: they are suggesting that under workplace law it means that
- 36:34Speaker 3: the NHS is not preventing another employee from doing something
- 36:38Speaker 3: that they ought to be doing.
- 36:40Speaker 1: They will argue.
- 36:41Speaker 3: Of course, the nurse and her lawyers will argue, well,
- 36:43Speaker 3: we are simply saying, what is a fact that this
- 36:46Speaker 3: person is a biological male, therefore a man and shouldn't
- 36:51Speaker 3: be in the female change rooms and.
- 36:53Speaker 1: Ought to be called a man.
- 36:56Speaker 3: I mean, it just seems like such common sense staff.
- 37:00Speaker 3: But this is now going through courts in the UK.
- 37:03Speaker 3: It will be going through will. It's already gone through
- 37:05Speaker 3: courts here in Australia if you look at the Tickle
- 37:07Speaker 3: versus Giggle case, which eventually ruled that a biological male
- 37:12Speaker 3: should be given access to a women's only space in
- 37:14Speaker 3: that case in the form.
- 37:16Speaker 1: Of a social media app.
- 37:18Speaker 3: This is the stuff we're facing every day for just
- 37:20Speaker 3: saying what is plainly true.
- 37:22Speaker 2: It's even more pernicious than that. The nurse was suspended
- 37:25Speaker 2: for bullying the transgender doctor because she was upset he
- 37:30Speaker 2: was in the female change room. Now she's got to
- 37:32Speaker 2: defend herself against these bullying charges. But the lawyers of
- 37:35Speaker 2: the trans person are saying in the tribunal hearing, you
- 37:39Speaker 2: cannot use male pronouns or refer to our client as
- 37:42Speaker 2: a male. But that's her whole case. She was offended
- 37:45Speaker 2: because it was a male. But they're saying, you'll turn
- 37:48Speaker 2: the tribunal into a court of hate if you use
- 37:52Speaker 2: male pronouns, which then means she's almost unable to argue
- 37:56Speaker 2: her case. So the whole thing is quite pernicious.
- 38:00Speaker 4: To show how much language matters. If you control the language,
- 38:04Speaker 4: you control the people who have to use the language.
- 38:08Speaker 4: And it's for this reason I don't even use the
- 38:10Speaker 4: term trans woman anymore, because to me, that man is
- 38:14Speaker 4: not any kind of woman period. And this is downright
- 38:19Speaker 4: state sanctioned or state enforced compelled speech.
- 38:24Speaker 5: If this woman is not allowed to say.
- 38:27Speaker 1: And this is all.
- 38:28Speaker 4: Made out about this fellow feeling harassed because she wasn't
- 38:32Speaker 4: comfortable with him being in the female change rooms, nothing
- 38:36Speaker 4: said about the women who across the Western world, in
- 38:40Speaker 4: all kinds of restrooms and workplaces now are made to
- 38:44Speaker 4: feel incredibly uncomfortable by having biological males in their private spaces.
- 38:51Speaker 5: And I had to say it. There has been many.
- 38:54Speaker 4: Cases of really dodgerama scenarios of women being filmed harassed
- 39:00Speaker 4: in public toilets and other places by certain individuals who
- 39:05Speaker 4: call themselves I'm a trans woman, got into those spaces
- 39:10Speaker 4: and aren't behaving respectfully at all. This, of course triggers
- 39:14Speaker 4: particularly women who have been abused by men.
- 39:18Speaker 5: Or you don't know what this woman's backstory is at all.
- 39:21Speaker 4: Maybe she's just standing up for free speech, as she should.
- 39:25Speaker 5: But props to her for going through this.
- 39:28Speaker 4: Because she could just as easily be like, you know what,
- 39:31Speaker 4: I'm going to back down instead of no, no, I
- 39:33Speaker 4: will fight this I'm literally fighting the state for the
- 39:36Speaker 4: right to call a man a man.
- 39:38Speaker 5: It's going to be very interesting to see how it ends.
- 39:40Speaker 2: You're absolutely right, we're going to go to a break.
- 39:41Speaker 2: When we come back, look at what's making news tomorrow,
- 39:43Speaker 2: including Albanesi's anti Islamophobia envoy upset that Muslims are being
- 39:49Speaker 2: ignored in the current of social cohesion debate to all
- 39:51Speaker 2: of that. Welcome back. Let's look at what's making news tomorrow.
- 39:57Speaker 2: I highly recommend you go out and get a copy
- 39:59Speaker 2: of Tomorrow's Australian just but judging on the front page,
- 40:02Speaker 2: there's some great stories, Caleb, you've got a couple of them.
- 40:04Speaker 3: Indeed, Cohesion Crisis islam Invoys AA. The political furore over
- 40:10Speaker 3: social cohesion has escalated with Anthony Albaneze's handpicked Islamophobia invoid
- 40:15Speaker 3: declaring we shouldn't ignore the threat to Muslims simply because
- 40:19Speaker 3: we haven't seen any mosques torched or cars vandalized. In
- 40:24Speaker 3: other words, there hasn't been enough hate directed towards Muslims
- 40:29Speaker 3: that he's obvious, but he.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Still having in don't worry, we should have more of it.
- 40:33Speaker 1: I don't know what does he watched it? Needs to
- 40:35Speaker 1: be more obvious. I don't get it.
- 40:36Speaker 3: But he goes on to say, you know that there
- 40:38Speaker 3: are examples of the sorts of things we need to
- 40:41Speaker 3: be worried about, including he specifically cites the twenty nineteen
- 40:47Speaker 3: christ Church massacre as a source of worry.
- 40:50Speaker 1: Here that was six years ago in another country. Throws here,
- 40:57Speaker 1: that's the source of worry.
- 40:59Speaker 3: Is that a lunar in New Zealand think the game
- 41:02Speaker 3: somehow is causing is locked up?
- 41:05Speaker 2: The link. The link is because this guy wrote a
- 41:10Speaker 2: editorial piece. It's in the opinion pages tomorrow and he
- 41:14Speaker 2: says the link is that the guy who shot up
- 41:16Speaker 2: the christ Church mosque six years ago in New Zealand
- 41:19Speaker 2: was an Aussie. Therefore, can you see the connection? That
- 41:26Speaker 2: means obvious, there's a.
- 41:27Speaker 1: Huge problem with phobia Australia.
- 41:30Speaker 3: What does he want the mosques to be fire bombs
- 41:32Speaker 3: so they can get a bit more action.
- 41:34Speaker 1: I don't get it, and.
- 41:35Speaker 5: This don't give anyone any ideas well.
- 41:36Speaker 1: Yeah, but this was.
- 41:37Speaker 3: The problem when he appointed these invoys, and you know,
- 41:40Speaker 3: he appointed an anti Semitism invoy and then he had
- 41:43Speaker 3: to appoint in his lamophobia one at the same time.
- 41:46Speaker 3: Just to make sure an idiot, you know, kind of
- 41:49Speaker 3: any favorite was all window dressing. And this is the
- 41:52Speaker 3: inevitable conclusion of it.
- 41:54Speaker 2: We get crappy to be fair to the anti islamophobia
- 41:58Speaker 2: envoy who maybe he's a good guy, I don't know,
- 42:00Speaker 2: but could you imagine the pressure he would be under
- 42:02Speaker 2: from the Muslim community when there's so much talk about antisemitism?
- 42:05Speaker 2: What are you doing? Make a statement, may say something,
- 42:07Speaker 2: make it look like someone really hates So he's grasping
- 42:10Speaker 2: its straws. But at least he's saying something he's.
- 42:12Speaker 1: Got to get in the media.
- 42:12Speaker 3: Another story on the front of the OS tomorrow double
- 42:15Speaker 3: travel flag backlash. There, handing out of double sided Australian
- 42:19Speaker 3: and Aboriginal flags at a citizenship sorry ceremonies on the
- 42:23Speaker 3: Gold Coast has been axed by the Gold Coast City
- 42:25Speaker 3: Council after complaints by residents and its own elected officials,
- 42:30Speaker 3: who ray woke, as we keep saying, is slowly dying.
- 42:34Speaker 1: Yet another example.
- 42:36Speaker 3: We feel comfortable now to say, boh, we like having
- 42:39Speaker 3: one flag under which we exist and it's a citizenship ceremony.
- 42:43Speaker 3: For heaven's sake, you just became a citizen of Australia.
- 42:47Speaker 3: So what flag would we hand you other than the
- 42:50Speaker 3: Australian flag.
- 42:51Speaker 4: Here here to the front page of the Daily Telegraph.
- 42:54Speaker 4: Now where remember that massive chain of pubs, the Australian
- 42:59Speaker 4: Venue that put out this statement saying, oh, we won't
- 43:03Speaker 4: have Australia Day celebrations in our over two hundred venues
- 43:08Speaker 4: in Australia. They're foreign owned, by the way, don't be
- 43:11Speaker 4: fooled by the name Australian Venue Co.
- 43:14Speaker 5: And then they came out, they backflipped big.
- 43:16Speaker 4: Time and they said, oh, oh, we take it back.
- 43:18Speaker 5: We didn't mean to offend anyone. Please do dine at
- 43:21Speaker 5: our pubs.
- 43:22Speaker 4: Well they seem to have done a one eighty on
- 43:25Speaker 4: their one eighty pub snubbet again this big splash reads
- 43:30Speaker 4: hotel group shuns National Day once more?
- 43:33Speaker 5: Would you guys make up your minds? A major hotel
- 43:36Speaker 5: group forced.
- 43:37Speaker 4: To apologize over a controversial Australia Day ban at its
- 43:41Speaker 4: venues is still refusing to acknowledge the national holiday, instead
- 43:45Speaker 4: encouraging ozzies to celebrate the quote long weekend end quote
- 43:51Speaker 4: with no mention of Australia Day in its promotions. So
- 43:55Speaker 4: Australian Venue Co again, the joke's in the name. This
- 43:58Speaker 4: is a foreign owned corporation.
- 44:02Speaker 5: They're just calling it.
- 44:04Speaker 4: The long weekend, Long weekend celebrations, So let's celebrate because
- 44:09Speaker 4: it's the long weekend and we do want business at
- 44:11Speaker 4: our venues. Make sure you google these guys and make
- 44:14Speaker 4: sure that they do not get a scent out of you,
- 44:17Speaker 4: not just on Australia Day.
- 44:19Speaker 5: But every day. Hence.
- 44:22Speaker 4: Fourth, if you are not proud to call Australia home,
- 44:26Speaker 4: if you are not proud of this incredible nation, I don't.
- 44:29Speaker 5: Want you out of a cent of my money.
- 44:31Speaker 2: And find out who's advising them, because I mean, they
- 44:34Speaker 2: made the headlines once for being anti Australian and they
- 44:37Speaker 2: sort of said, all right, we're sorry, We're sorry, we'll
- 44:39Speaker 2: fix things. And now they're making headlines again for the
- 44:42Speaker 2: same stupid mistake.
- 44:44Speaker 5: The apology wasn't sincere. I'm so shot, Oh my goodness.
- 44:50Speaker 4: Also on the front of the Daily Telegraph, this.
- 44:53Speaker 5: Is an appalling story. One in four girls groomed online.
- 44:57Speaker 4: More than a quarter of young Australian women under the
- 44:59Speaker 4: a of eighteen have been sexually propositioned online or via
- 45:03Speaker 4: phone messages. A groundbreaking national study has revealed. Wow, these
- 45:09Speaker 4: are really disturbing findings. Another reminder just stay away from
- 45:15Speaker 4: your devices, like seriously, do not talk to strangers as
- 45:19Speaker 4: strange a danger applies online as it does in real life.
- 45:23Speaker 5: I just could not believe these stats.
- 45:26Speaker 2: I agree that's why parents need to monitor their kids'
- 45:29Speaker 2: social media activity.
- 45:30Speaker 5: Not the government. Not the government parents.
- 45:33Speaker 2: Tasmanian Mercury going off script reads the headline woman charged
- 45:37Speaker 2: with drug driving over cannabis prescription issued by New South
- 45:41Speaker 2: Wales doctor. A high profile Tasmanian Defense Council has called
- 45:45Speaker 2: on the government to provide clarity on the state's medical
- 45:47Speaker 2: cannabis laws after a sixty year old woman was on
- 45:50Speaker 2: Wednesday convicted of drug driving despite holding a legitimate prescription
- 45:54Speaker 2: issued in another state. So, as I understand, the law
- 45:58Speaker 2: in Tasmania allowed to drive having used medical cannabis provided
- 46:06Speaker 2: you have a legitimate prescription. The issue here seems to
- 46:09Speaker 2: be the prescription was from New South Wales and was
- 46:12Speaker 2: therefore not recognized in Tasmania, so she was fined.
- 46:17Speaker 3: Well, that seems a bizarre loophole in the lord, doesn't it.
- 46:21Speaker 3: Because if you live in New South Wales but you
- 46:23Speaker 3: spend a month in Tasmania.
- 46:24Speaker 1: Does that mean you're not allowed to drive a car.
- 46:26Speaker 3: For that whole month you're in Tasmania. I can't see
- 46:28Speaker 3: how this is real. It's an obvious thing that needs
- 46:31Speaker 3: to be changed.
- 46:31Speaker 2: All right, We're going to go to a break when
- 46:33Speaker 2: we come back. Trump has sorted out gender madness in
- 46:36Speaker 2: the United States, but gender madness has gone into overdrive
- 46:40Speaker 2: in Ireland. Will show you that. In just a secretary
- 46:44Speaker 2: well at his inauguration, Donald Trump announced that it is
- 46:47Speaker 2: now the official position of the United States government there
- 46:49Speaker 2: are only two genders, male and female. But the Episcopalian
- 46:53Speaker 2: Church weren't the only ones upset by this. Left is everywhere.
- 46:57Speaker 2: We're having absolute meltdowns.
- 47:00Speaker 13: He has now gleamed that there will only be the
- 47:04Speaker 13: male and female gender that will be recognized in America.
- 47:07Speaker 13: This sets back everything that the trans community has been
- 47:10Speaker 13: working for. In these next four years, you are going
- 47:12Speaker 13: to hear the most intense anti trans propaganda you've ever
- 47:16Speaker 13: heard in your entire length. Protect your trans community, stay involved,
- 47:20Speaker 13: and do not forget us, because history will try. Two
- 47:24Speaker 13: he reasons.
- 47:26Speaker 2: Her heart goes out to that poor young lady. Although
- 47:28Speaker 2: she might like to move from the United States, where
- 47:31Speaker 2: clearly she's going to be persecuted to Ireland, where she'll
- 47:34Speaker 2: be absolutely loved. The Irish government has just introduced new
- 47:38Speaker 2: hate speech laws that make it a crime to direct
- 47:41Speaker 2: hate towards any one of seventy two different genders. So
- 47:45Speaker 2: those genders now are recognized in law, and Senator Sharon
- 47:49Speaker 2: Keegan read them all out in the Irish Parliament. It
- 47:53Speaker 2: took her twenty five minutes to read out all the
- 47:56Speaker 2: genders they're now recognizing. Will show you just a snippet
- 47:58Speaker 2: of it, sped up to save some time.
- 48:02Speaker 14: Search gender, circumgender, curry gender, cloud gender, cloud gender, co gender,
- 48:06Speaker 14: compnytal gender, core gender, collor gender, com gender, comp gender,
- 48:09Speaker 14: compost gender, congreu gender, constant gender, county gender, content gender,
- 48:14Speaker 14: currow gender, cosmic gender, cosme gender, come you love gender,
- 48:17Speaker 14: sigh and gender scio gender. And I must please forgive
- 48:20Speaker 14: me if I do pronounce some of these wrong there
- 48:23Speaker 14: are quite extensive, And if I do offend anybody reading
- 48:26Speaker 14: this outed making mistakes, I apologize comp gender, comme gender,
- 48:29Speaker 14: comple gender, congregender, constagender, county gender, content gender, courrogender, cosmic gender,
- 48:33Speaker 14: cosme gender, semi gender, psychogender. Now gender, damp gender, deggender,
- 48:36Speaker 14: gentle gender, denmy gender, any fluid?
- 48:38Speaker 2: Could you get a better example of the stark difference
- 48:41Speaker 2: now between the United States and everywhere else in the world.
- 48:45Speaker 3: I'm finally starting to understand the idea of being gender fluid,
- 48:48Speaker 3: because when I have a shower, I'm damp gender, and
- 48:51Speaker 3: then when I go home tonight stand on the balcony and.
- 48:53Speaker 1: Look at the sky, be cosmic gender. I finally understand
- 48:57Speaker 1: it now. I didn't know would take the Irish parlorm
- 49:00Speaker 1: to give me that education.
- 49:02Speaker 3: But also that woman, I don't know, man, young person
- 49:06Speaker 3: who young person said you're gonna get this anti trans
- 49:09Speaker 3: propaganda yet like biological fact, a scary biological fact.
- 49:14Speaker 2: We're got to go. That's all from us. Stick Around
- 49:16Speaker 2: coming up because the reader Penny Show, good Night,
