Transcript
- 0:06Speaker 1: Stay tuned for this one. It's going to get interesting.
- 0:07Speaker 1: My name is Paul Barre. Welcome back into tech path.
- 0:10Speaker 1: Let's get started. I do want to thank our sponsor
- 0:11Speaker 1: and that is Tangum. This is a great place to
- 0:13Speaker 1: hold your XRP or hold your tether. You can do
- 0:16Speaker 1: all sorts of things in self custody. And the cool
- 0:18Speaker 1: thing about Tangum is it's a little credit card and
- 0:21Speaker 1: it works with your phone. It's very easy to set
- 0:24Speaker 1: up and super secure, so.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Check it out.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Use our link down below. It's a ten percent off code.
- 0:29Speaker 1: But also we're going to make sure that you guys
- 0:31Speaker 1: can win some potential bitcoin here, so be on the
- 0:34Speaker 1: lookout for that. Just hit the link down below and
- 0:36Speaker 1: get started on your own self custody journey. Top of
- 0:39Speaker 1: the news here, Tether is course facing a dlisting under
- 0:43Speaker 1: the MIKA rules, and of course this new regulation is
- 0:45Speaker 1: going to take effect on December thirtieth, right there, guys,
- 0:48Speaker 1: So big deal for Tether and this could mean some
- 0:51Speaker 1: bad things for Tether. If you look at the current
- 0:53Speaker 1: market cap of Tether. One of the first times that
- 0:56Speaker 1: we've actually seen a little bit of a decline here
- 0:58Speaker 1: from one hundred and forty billion to where it's trading
- 1:01Speaker 1: or excuse me, market cap right now around one thirty
- 1:03Speaker 1: eight point nine. So is this potentially a market top
- 1:09Speaker 1: for Tether with what's happening with mica. If you look
- 1:12Speaker 1: at what Tether is faced in the past, almost every
- 1:15Speaker 1: bull cycle that's been out there is there's been Tether
- 1:18Speaker 1: fudd and of course this is just kind of fun
- 1:20Speaker 1: out there. It's kind of the magic eight ball of
- 1:21Speaker 1: Tether's fud. Other things, though, to take a look at,
- 1:25Speaker 1: is that we're going to see some things happen with
- 1:27Speaker 1: other stable coins. One of the big ones that we've
- 1:29Speaker 1: talked about quite a bit is our LUSD Here of
- 1:32Speaker 1: course is bitstamp talking about XARP is going to make
- 1:35Speaker 1: history next year. Remember bitstamp was a company that was
- 1:39Speaker 1: invested in by Ripple but also recently by Robinhood. So
- 1:46Speaker 1: some interesting bedfellows here As things start to heat up
- 1:49Speaker 1: here now that you've got this research saying that they
- 1:53Speaker 1: believe bitstamp is building a derivative exchanges on the XRP ledger,
- 1:57Speaker 1: and that Robin Hood is going to be acquiring bus
- 2:00Speaker 1: stamp in twenty twenty five, we're going to see this
- 2:01Speaker 1: getting a lot more interesting I would agree with this
- 2:03Speaker 1: is that the moves have already kind of been out there,
- 2:07Speaker 1: and I think it's just a matter of time before
- 2:08Speaker 1: we actually see something like this happen. And remember our
- 2:12Speaker 1: LUSD is going to play a big role in this
- 2:14Speaker 1: because of the capacity of stable coins, and especially if
- 2:18Speaker 1: we get stable coin regulation moving quickly. Other things to
- 2:22Speaker 1: take a look at, Ripple joins Blackrock and JP Morgan
- 2:24Speaker 1: as a member of the Trade Association ISDA, and you'll
- 2:27Speaker 1: notice something right here international swaps and derivatives. So they're
- 2:30Speaker 1: in the association. Let me zoom in on that they're
- 2:33Speaker 1: in the very association that is talking about derivatives. We're
- 2:36Speaker 1: going to endto a very interesting time in twenty twenty
- 2:39Speaker 1: five where you've got all of this coming to a
- 2:41Speaker 1: head at once, where you've got Ripple investing in derivative exchanges.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Obviously the moves by Robin Hood and URLUSD all coming
- 2:49Speaker 1: together at the same time. Very interesting times ahead here,
- 2:52Speaker 1: I think for sure. Other things I want to hit
- 2:54Speaker 1: on is this is vlad He's talking about stable coin
- 2:58Speaker 1: yield incoming that right now it's USDC, but you're not
- 3:02Speaker 1: getting yield on that within the Robinhood app.
- 3:04Speaker 2: You can get it on the dollar.
- 3:06Speaker 1: But if we start to see this shifting to stable coins,
- 3:09Speaker 1: things could get interesting.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Take a look at this clip.
- 3:12Speaker 3: If you look at some of the problems you mentioned
- 3:14Speaker 3: tether and how much money they're making. The reason they're
- 3:17Speaker 3: making so much is because they don't share the yield
- 3:20Speaker 3: with the end users. So if we can kind of
- 3:23Speaker 3: marry both and deliver a yield to stable coin holders directly,
- 3:28Speaker 3: I think that would be a very very strong value proposition.
- 3:32Speaker 3: As we keep working on the wallet and we keep
- 3:35Speaker 3: making progress on the back end and hopefully pushing ahead
- 3:40Speaker 3: tokenization of real world assets, the wallet becomes an even
- 3:43Speaker 3: more important part of the strategy.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Remember they're talking about the Global dollar USDG. This is
- 3:48Speaker 1: the one that they would potentially be using for stable
- 3:51Speaker 1: coin yield. But that in itself is just showing a
- 3:55Speaker 1: mainly a thought process that Vlad and the team at
- 3:58Speaker 1: robin Hood are going through. Here's a tweet I've Lad
- 4:00Speaker 1: and let me zoom in on this because he gets
- 4:02Speaker 1: into some interesting things here. Because they're acquiring bitstamp, remember that,
- 4:06Speaker 1: so they want to accelerate their vision. They're tying this
- 4:09Speaker 1: into crypto as a service, institutional lending and staking. All
- 4:12Speaker 1: of this could end up on the XRP ledger. So
- 4:16Speaker 1: imagine the impact that would have on XORP as a whole.
- 4:19Speaker 1: But more intrigues intriguing here is the impact it's going
- 4:22Speaker 1: to have on the rest of the industry.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Now.
- 4:24Speaker 1: ISO two hundred and twenty two has been a project
- 4:27Speaker 1: that has been trying to roll out for quite some time.
- 4:30Speaker 1: It's now implemented and we're going to see this start
- 4:33Speaker 1: to take place, which is basically fedwire fund service in
- 4:36Speaker 1: a single day implementation. There's only a handful of tokens.
- 4:39Speaker 1: And I'll explain this in a second. I want to
- 4:41Speaker 1: go to a clip that will explain a little bit
- 4:44Speaker 1: more of what they're trying to do, and then I'll
- 4:45Speaker 1: explain how XRP could be tied in.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Take a look.
- 4:48Speaker 4: You may have heard of another messaging standard called Swift.
- 4:51Speaker 4: Swift uses its own format, while twenty twenty two uses XML,
- 4:56Speaker 4: which is more flexible and easier to integrate. The European
- 4:59Speaker 4: Payments Council has set a deadline for twenty twenty five
- 5:02Speaker 4: for all SEPA payments to use twenty oh twenty two.
- 5:05Speaker 4: Adopting ISO twenty oh twenty two could increase the use
- 5:08Speaker 4: of cryptocurrencies they're compliant with it. Two cryptocurrencies that are
- 5:12Speaker 4: members of the ISO twenty oh twenty two standards body
- 5:15Speaker 4: are Ripples XRP and Stellar Lumens.
- 5:18Speaker 5: Fid Y will be adopting ISO twenty oh twenty two
- 5:21Speaker 5: on March ten, twenty twenty five. Beginning in March of
- 5:24Speaker 5: next year, the Federal Reserve will required that all transactions
- 5:28Speaker 5: going through its feed wire fund service will have to
- 5:30Speaker 5: comply with the ISO twenty oh twenty two standard.
- 5:33Speaker 1: You look at the list right here, here's the ISO
- 5:35Speaker 1: twenty oh twenty two complying cryptocurrencies XRP only stable coin,
- 5:40Speaker 1: then Stellar XLM not a stable coin, and then of
- 5:43Speaker 1: course you see Cardonald no stable coins, proof of staate,
- 5:46Speaker 1: quant et cetera.
- 5:47Speaker 2: So it really is.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Boiling down to simply saying that XRP is going to
- 5:51Speaker 1: be the solution, whether it's r l USD, and the
- 5:54Speaker 1: framework of the XRP ledger playing into all of this
- 5:58Speaker 1: when it comes to those step up payments, simply meaning
- 6:01Speaker 1: central banking is going to start using the XRP ledger.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Just to watch all of this happening in front of
- 6:06Speaker 1: you in the next few years.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Europe.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Also Patrick Canson, he's hitting on a couple of things.
- 6:11Speaker 1: We've had him on the show before. He's one of
- 6:12Speaker 1: the analysts that had really talked about Mika in the
- 6:16Speaker 1: early stages. But he starts talking about next year, the
- 6:20Speaker 1: non bank payment companies, including stable coin issues, are going
- 6:23Speaker 1: to be eligible to apply for direct access to central
- 6:26Speaker 1: bank payment systems.
- 6:27Speaker 2: This is the SEPA.
- 6:29Speaker 1: So what that simply means is all of these banks
- 6:32Speaker 1: are now going.
- 6:33Speaker 2: To have access to that.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Look at Europe and the number of banks that are
- 6:36Speaker 1: crypto friendly right there, and the size of that. When
- 6:40Speaker 1: you think about that with RLUSD and the fact that
- 6:43Speaker 1: they're delisting tether during the MECA regulations, you've got to
- 6:48Speaker 1: think about USDC and you've got to think about now
- 6:51Speaker 1: RLUSD starting to become a very formidable force coming up
- 6:56Speaker 1: in Europe. Trump also is nominating cryptocurrency advocate Paul Atkins,
- 7:00Speaker 1: and I'll get to that in a second. He's coming
- 7:03Speaker 1: in as the SEC chair. Very very pro crypto, very
- 7:07Speaker 1: pro r w A, Real world assets, tokenized real world assets.
- 7:12Speaker 1: I want to go to a clip real quick because
- 7:13Speaker 1: this will get into a little bit more of what
- 7:15Speaker 1: he's going to be doing on day one, take a look.
- 7:18Speaker 6: But for the main point, you know, here in the
- 7:20Speaker 6: United States, obviously people are looking for something that is,
- 7:25Speaker 6: you know, to use the term of one of the
- 7:27Speaker 6: stable coins out there tethered to the dollar. So that
- 7:30Speaker 6: goes for digital assets. I mean, we still have a
- 7:33Speaker 6: lot of clients who are investing in, for example, swaps
- 7:38Speaker 6: trading platforms. You know, people are running into you know,
- 7:43Speaker 6: a broke wall at sec there's the lawsuit against Ripple,
- 7:47Speaker 6: a lot of things riding on that. So that's that's
- 7:50Speaker 6: like a really interesting thing to follow in this space.
- 7:53Speaker 5: That's the core one.
- 7:54Speaker 7: Paul has been one of us fighting for clarity, regulatory clarity.
- 7:59Speaker 7: He cares about tokenization. He cares about how blockchain technology
- 8:02Speaker 7: and digital assets can make the financial industry and the
- 8:06Speaker 7: securities industry more transparent, how that can make trading easier,
- 8:11Speaker 7: what kind of new settlement times we can have. So
- 8:13Speaker 7: when I think Paul goes in day one, some of
- 8:15Speaker 7: the things that will be critically important for him is
- 8:18Speaker 7: he will take a look at all the existing enforcement
- 8:20Speaker 7: actions that are out there.
- 8:22Speaker 8: Shout out to Paul and the whole team at Digital chamber. Wow,
- 8:27Speaker 8: the man who is going to the SEC is so
- 8:30Speaker 8: bullish on our wa Dpen it's disgusting. We literally have
- 8:34Speaker 8: a guy in the SEC who knows about a lot
- 8:37Speaker 8: of the companies that come to the show, a lot
- 8:38Speaker 8: of these companies that are building, not only that is
- 8:41Speaker 8: bullish on them and want to put them on the
- 8:43Speaker 8: Capitol Hill. Say it with me, our guy, he is
- 8:46Speaker 8: our guy.
- 8:47Speaker 1: If you look at the Securitized website, I would say
- 8:50Speaker 1: they're one of the in their statement here, one of
- 8:52Speaker 1: the leading tokenization of real world assets.
- 8:54Speaker 2: They're involved with black Rock.
- 8:56Speaker 1: This is something we've had Carlos on the show before.
- 8:59Speaker 1: We've probably got to getting but if you would go
- 9:00Speaker 1: down and look at their team, I want you to
- 9:03Speaker 1: look at this all right, So there's carl Stamingo, who's
- 9:05Speaker 1: their co founder and CEO. You probably recognize Michael coming
- 9:08Speaker 1: in over from Grace Gale. But I want to go
- 9:10Speaker 1: down to their advisors. This is where it gets very interesting.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Guess who's there, Paul Atkins. Very interesting stuff, guys. We
- 9:19Speaker 1: are about to enter into something I think that is
- 9:22Speaker 1: going to change the face of the financial architecture. Very
- 9:26Speaker 1: very rarely do you get a chance to get a
- 9:28Speaker 1: front row seat of this, so be on the lookout
- 9:30Speaker 1: for all of this starting to shift things over. And
- 9:32Speaker 1: that's not really the end of it. You have to
- 9:34Speaker 1: look elsewhere and from a global perspective. And we've talked
- 9:38Speaker 1: about this before. SBI Holdings their critical position not only
- 9:42Speaker 1: with Ripple, but just in the banking system within Asia.
- 9:46Speaker 1: And I want to show something here. SBI Holdings XRP
- 9:50Speaker 1: is worth around they have holdings right now.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Let me kind of zoom in on that for you guys.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Their XRP is worth around one point six trillion, ten
- 9:56Speaker 1: billion dollars and this is in yen. This is higher
- 10:00Speaker 1: than SBI's market cap of one point two trillion yen.
- 10:05Speaker 2: So they actually have more.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Value in XRP than they do in the company value itself.
- 10:10Speaker 1: So are they becoming the micro strategy of XRP. Well,
- 10:14Speaker 1: there's some things that could possibly predicate that that is
- 10:17Speaker 1: actually what's going on here. I want to show you
- 10:19Speaker 1: something right here. This was a press release that they had.
- 10:22Speaker 1: This was a letter to their CEO, and this came
- 10:25Speaker 1: in from the Global Special Situations Fund and they hit
- 10:28Speaker 1: on a few things here. I want to go into
- 10:30Speaker 1: a couple of the items that they were asking for.
- 10:33Speaker 1: This is kind of showing their stock price when there
- 10:35Speaker 1: was even a potential. Let me kind of zoom in
- 10:37Speaker 1: on that for you guys, a potential of them selling XRP.
- 10:41Speaker 1: This is what happens to their stock price. So what
- 10:43Speaker 1: they said is, we've got to kind of protect against that.
- 10:45Speaker 2: So let's do this.
- 10:46Speaker 1: We believe that shareholders would greatly benefit if these were
- 10:50Speaker 1: the things that they were hitting in. SBI would publish
- 10:53Speaker 1: a daily live indirect value if it's XRP holdings number one.
- 10:57Speaker 1: They would also create a strategy and block chain technology
- 11:00Speaker 1: and cryptocurrency, so have a business that's built around this.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Sound very familiar to you. There's another popular company out
- 11:06Speaker 1: there that's doing this now. And then three, it says
- 11:09Speaker 1: that s p I should have an active and public
- 11:12Speaker 1: x RP coin buying program rather than pay cash dividends.
- 11:16Speaker 1: SBI shareholders would benefit greatly if they would do a
- 11:19Speaker 1: buy back program by recycling part of its cash fellow
- 11:23Speaker 1: and going into both banking and the security side of
- 11:26Speaker 1: their business. I want to show you the CEO of SBI,
- 11:30Speaker 1: take a look.
- 11:32Speaker 9: Shoe can go there? Well, why ot a guy capter
- 11:58Speaker 9: game have to u Tabo kids Aro Management.
- 12:22Speaker 1: I want to go to a tweet from that CEO,
- 12:24Speaker 1: and here's what he said translated. Ripples should begin preparing
- 12:27Speaker 1: for its IPO as soon as possible as once the
- 12:29Speaker 1: sc matter is resolved. This is going to happen in
- 12:32Speaker 1: early January, so we could see something maybe being announced.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Don't know if that's going to happen, but that would
- 12:36Speaker 1: be a calendar date that I'd be watching for is
- 12:39Speaker 1: mid January. So, and the point being is that this
- 12:41Speaker 1: is exactly what MICROSOFTY has been doing, selling stock to
- 12:45Speaker 1: go out there and leverage in back in on bitcoin.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Same thing that could be happening here with x RP.
- 12:50Speaker 1: So this is getting interesting, guys, very very interesting. Here's
- 12:54Speaker 1: another thing. I want to take a look at SBI.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Every bank in Japan will use Ripples x RP by five.
- 13:00Speaker 1: We only have a couple more days of this, but
- 13:02Speaker 1: right there you're talking about pretty we've shown this before
- 13:06Speaker 1: and how important this could be for XRPL to be
- 13:09Speaker 1: essentially the financial institution underlying in Japan for all of this.
- 13:15Speaker 2: So I think there's an opportunity here for.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Some pretty big moves for XRP as a whole. All Right,
- 13:20Speaker 1: so I want to go to the chart real quick,
- 13:22Speaker 1: and this is a This is the god candle there
- 13:24Speaker 1: from November. But the key here is this little yellow
- 13:26Speaker 1: line rounder this tracer line.
- 13:28Speaker 2: I've got this at one ninety eight.
- 13:29Speaker 1: This would be the first time we saw a monthly
- 13:32Speaker 1: candle close above this. This would be huge for XRPS
- 13:36Speaker 1: price stability, a very big position to watch on the
- 13:39Speaker 1: monthly candle.
- 13:40Speaker 2: So we're gonna be watching this throughout the end of
- 13:42Speaker 2: this month.
- 13:42Speaker 1: See if December actually pulls it off, and it's very
- 13:45Speaker 1: possible that it will. Right now trading at about two eighteen.
- 13:48Speaker 1: The other thing I want to get to is right
- 13:50Speaker 1: here on Santiment's charts. This is showing that several things here,
- 13:54Speaker 1: one of course, is the yellow that's the total amount
- 13:57Speaker 1: of XRPL trust lines. So remember we saw this big explosion,
- 14:01Speaker 1: then a lot of old holders uh basically selling their
- 14:05Speaker 1: XRP because they had seen profits for the first time.
- 14:07Speaker 1: And then what happens back here in early December, boom.
- 14:11Speaker 2: Trust lights.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Trust lines start exploding because people start understanding what is
- 14:15Speaker 1: going on. Along with that, you also have the dex
- 14:18Speaker 1: volume exploding. You also have the active addresses continuing to increase.
- 14:23Speaker 1: What you have here, guys, is a perfect storm starting
- 14:27Speaker 1: to brew with XRP and where this technology is going.
- 14:31Speaker 5: Now.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Last time we saw this, especially when it's related to
- 14:34Speaker 1: a stable coin was Solana. Solana of course right there
- 14:37Speaker 1: the explosion. There's the stable coin market cap as it
- 14:39Speaker 1: continues to climb along with the volume of what Solana
- 14:42Speaker 1: has been able to do. Now all of this still
- 14:45Speaker 1: gets into adoption phase for XRP. And this is the
- 14:49Speaker 1: thing that is interesting to me is because as you
- 14:51Speaker 1: start to see more retail come in, but even more companies,
- 14:53Speaker 1: more institutions, we may see an XRP ETF come in
- 14:57Speaker 1: that'll open it up for institutional cap and the potential
- 15:02Speaker 1: here from a global and macro side of things, XRP
- 15:05Speaker 1: could be right in the crosshairs for a lot of
- 15:07Speaker 1: this growth. Last up here is the total volume of
- 15:11Speaker 1: USDC on uniswap, just to show you what it could
- 15:14Speaker 1: happen with an rl USD reached the one trillion dollar
- 15:17Speaker 1: mark in the first half of December on uniswap. That
- 15:21Speaker 1: is what having a stable coin can do to these
- 15:25Speaker 1: decentralized exchanges. That's why it's so important, it so interesting
- 15:31Speaker 1: with where Ripple and RLUSD is going, along with the
- 15:34Speaker 1: rest of the strategy that lines up with XRP as
- 15:37Speaker 1: a whole.
- 15:37Speaker 2: All right, hopefully this is gonna.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Give you guys some more answers because this is something
- 15:42Speaker 1: we're continuing to me. It's like a puzzle that just
- 15:44Speaker 1: constantly is building itself. So many strategic moves that's been
- 15:48Speaker 1: made over the last two years, and then so many
- 15:50Speaker 1: things happening that are good at the right time. That's
- 15:55Speaker 1: the key thing right now with all regulation, what's happening
- 15:57Speaker 1: with the sec Stay tuned.
- 15:59Speaker 2: To our channel.
