Ghislaine Maxwell And Her Audacious Attendance At A Human Trafficking Charity Event · The Vault: The Epstein Files

• 0:01
Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell in 2013 had the audacity to attend a
• 0:07
Speaker 1: sex trafficking charity event. Meanwhile, we all know what she
• 0:16
Speaker 1: was up to with Jeffrey Epstein. We all know what
• 0:20
Speaker 1: she is accused of. And she thought that it was
• 0:25
Speaker 1: a good idea to go to this event. And furthermore,
• 0:29
Speaker 1: this event thought it was a good idea to have her?
• 0:34
Speaker 1: I mean, do these people not have the internet? Are
• 0:38
Speaker 1: they Amish and we just don't know about it and
• 0:40
Speaker 1: they don't believe in technology or something? I don't know
• 0:43
Speaker 1: what other excuse there could possibly be. How could you
• 0:46
Speaker 1: not know who Ghislaine Maxwell was and who her number
• 0:50
Speaker 1: one associate is? Or was, I guess you should say now,
• 0:53
Speaker 1: but Let's be very clear, all of these people knew
• 0:58
Speaker 1: what Ghislaine Maxwell was, what she was up to, and
• 1:01
Speaker 1: what kind of scoundrel she was. And if it wasn't
• 1:05
Speaker 1: for Epstein being arrested this second time around, and it
• 1:08
Speaker 1: wasn't for all of this publicity surrounding the case, these
• 1:13
Speaker 1: people would have been quite happy to keep these pictures
• 1:15
Speaker 1: stashed and never have to answer for it. Because, I mean,
• 1:20
Speaker 1: if you listen to the way most of these people
• 1:22
Speaker 1: have gone about this sort of thing, when Ghislaine Maxwell
• 1:25
Speaker 1: has been obviously someone who is in their circle and
• 1:29
Speaker 1: they try and distance themselves from it, they try and
• 1:32
Speaker 1: act like we don't know what we see, what the
• 1:35
Speaker 1: evidence is in front of us, all of these pictures,
• 1:38
Speaker 1: all of the different parties they would go to together, etc., etc.
• 1:42
Speaker 1: You can't just act like you weren't close when it's
• 1:45
Speaker 1: obvious you were. But the fact that she went to
• 1:49
Speaker 1: a sex trafficking charity event is just, I mean, it
• 1:55
Speaker 1: doesn't surprise me with her. Part of her whole entire
• 1:58
Speaker 1: cover story, right? Again, her and Jeffrey Epstein were so
• 2:02
Speaker 1: brazen that they were willing to go to events like
• 2:05
Speaker 1: this and show their stupid ugly faces at events like this,
• 2:09
Speaker 1: even though they were engaged in the very crimes that
• 2:13
Speaker 1: these charity events are supposedly raising money to stop or
• 2:18
Speaker 1: to help the survivors and victims of. It is... Something
• 2:24
Speaker 1: that you see more and more the harder you look
• 2:28
Speaker 1: when it comes to these charitable organizations. And I don't
• 2:32
Speaker 1: want to malign all charitable organizations, right? I'm sure a
• 2:36
Speaker 1: lot of them do good work. But I have a
• 2:38
Speaker 1: bad taste in my mouth considering what we've unearthed when
• 2:42
Speaker 1: we've dug into this story. It's just, it seems like
• 2:45
Speaker 1: every single one of these disgusting people has some sort
• 2:49
Speaker 1: of charity that they use as a shield. for their behavior.
• 2:55
Speaker 1: So let's jump into the article by the Daily Mail
• 2:58
Speaker 1: and see what's going on with Ghislaine Maxwell at this
• 3:01
Speaker 1: charity event in 2013. She's got some nerve. Ghislaine Maxwell
• 3:08
Speaker 1: was pictured at charity event to stop sex trafficking before
• 3:12
Speaker 1: her arrest for procuring girls for Jeffrey Epstein. This article
• 3:18
Speaker 1: was authored by Keith Griffith. Again, Every time we get
• 3:23
Speaker 1: into an article here or something new breaks in this story,
• 3:26
Speaker 1: I wonder if we're in some sort of bad book, right?
• 3:31
Speaker 1: This can't be real. These people can't actually operate this way.
• 3:34
Speaker 1: They can't be this stupid. And yet here we are.
• 3:38
Speaker 1: They are this stupid and they think we're even stupider.
• 3:41
Speaker 1: These people think that they can operate and do these
• 3:46
Speaker 1: sort of things online. right under our noses, and there's
• 3:51
Speaker 1: nothing we can do about it. That's how they felt,
• 3:54
Speaker 1: and until recently, that's how it's been. But you see
• 3:58
Speaker 1: a wave recently of people like Ghislaine Maxwell, and in, say,
• 4:03
Speaker 1: the NXIVM case, people like Keith Ranieri and Allison Mack
• 4:06
Speaker 1: and Bronfman, you see them all caught up, and it
• 4:10
Speaker 1: definitely looks like things are starting to turn when it
• 4:15
Speaker 1: comes to situations like this, And again, that's because of
• 4:18
Speaker 1: the public outcry, right? Because of folks like you writing
• 4:21
Speaker 1: to your senators, writing to your congresspeople, blowing this story up,
• 4:25
Speaker 1: never stopped talking about it, the whole thing. And without that,
• 4:30
Speaker 1: this story would have again been swept under the rug
• 4:33
Speaker 1: and lost in the news cycle. Because you all know
• 4:36
Speaker 1: we have a 24-hour news cycle for the most part.
• 4:38
Speaker 1: Things come and they go. Even really serious, important things.
• 4:44
Speaker 1: But this story has had a lot of staying power
• 4:47
Speaker 1: And that's a testament to the people who are interested
• 4:49
Speaker 1: in the story and interested in finding justice. A photo
• 4:55
Speaker 1: has emerged showing accused sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell at a
• 4:58
Speaker 1: charity event to oppose sex trafficking prior to her arrest.
• 5:03
Speaker 1: Maxwell smiling. is seen at the 2013 fundraiser for Stop
• 5:08
Speaker 1: the Trafficking of People in New York's Meatpacking District, posing
• 5:12
Speaker 1: with the group's founder, Celia Dallavarine. So again, they're hobnobbing with,
• 5:20
Speaker 1: you know, the so-called members of polite society. You got
• 5:24
Speaker 1: the bipedal serpent, Ghislaine Maxwell, slithering amongst them. God knows
• 5:30
Speaker 1: what sort of banter she's running with them. God knows
• 5:34
Speaker 1: how many of them are aware of what she has
• 5:36
Speaker 1: going on. And I'll tell you what, I don't believe
• 5:39
Speaker 1: all of these people. Do you even think that what
• 5:42
Speaker 1: are the odds that all of these people that were
• 5:45
Speaker 1: close to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, people that were
• 5:48
Speaker 1: around them a lot? I don't mean just at dinner parties.
• 5:51
Speaker 1: I'm talking at the houses, you know, at the various
• 5:55
Speaker 1: different properties and spent an ample amount of time with them.
• 5:59
Speaker 1: How many of them people do you actually believe when
• 6:02
Speaker 1: they say, oh, well, you know, I don't know anything
• 6:04
Speaker 1: about this at all. I mean, you know, I was
• 6:06
Speaker 1: only with Jeffrey Epstein 17 hours a day for four
• 6:09
Speaker 1: days a week. I don't know, though. I have no idea.
• 6:12
Speaker 1: I don't believe any of those kinds of people. And
• 6:15
Speaker 1: we see it all the time here with Ghislaine Maxwell
• 6:17
Speaker 1: and Jeffrey Epstein and all of these people who had
• 6:23
Speaker 1: some sort of close relationship with them. She's got some nerve,
• 6:31
Speaker 1: but I am not surprised, DeLavarine told The Sun. I've
• 6:36
Speaker 1: come to realize that these people need to appear to
• 6:38
Speaker 1: be doing good and make people believe it, for sure.
• 6:42
Speaker 1: They're always, always trying to show up at an event
• 6:46
Speaker 1: like this, especially Ghislaine Maxwell after Epstein's arrest, right? She
• 6:50
Speaker 1: was on a tour. She was on a Refurbish My
• 6:53
Speaker 1: Image tour. She was invited to Jeff Bezos' little retreats
• 6:56
Speaker 1: for the special people retreat that they would have, invite only.
• 7:03
Speaker 1: She was invited to that. She did TED Talk. She
• 7:05
Speaker 1: did all kinds of stuff, all sorts of stuff. And
• 7:08
Speaker 1: she would show up at events like this because, again,
• 7:11
Speaker 1: she wanted it to look like she had nothing to
• 7:13
Speaker 1: do with anything that has to do with sex trafficking.
• 7:17
Speaker 1: She was a well-seasoned asset in my opinion, folks. Somebody
• 7:20
Speaker 1: that knew her game, knew her craft, and understood a
• 7:25
Speaker 1: good cover story and a good lie has a sprinkle
• 7:28
Speaker 1: of truth in it. In July, Maxwell was arrested in
• 7:33
Speaker 1: New Hampshire and federally charged with enticement of minors and
• 7:37
Speaker 1: sex trafficking of children in connection with her decades-long association
• 7:41
Speaker 1: with pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein. The photo from 2013 shows
• 7:49
Speaker 1: Maxwell posing with Da Laverine, French ambassador to the U.S.
• 7:54
Speaker 1: Franchois Deletre, French fashion designer Catherine Malandrino, Bic Pen fortune
• 8:01
Speaker 1: heir Bruno Bic, and Baroness Veronique Bic. So that's a
• 8:06
Speaker 1: who's who, huh? Hanging out with the French fashion designers,
• 8:10
Speaker 1: the heirs to the Bic Pen fortune. And speaking of that,
• 8:14
Speaker 1: imagine that's where you got your fortune, your family created
• 8:17
Speaker 1: the big pen. That's a lot of money for that
• 8:23
Speaker 1: sort of creation. And I think about that kind of
• 8:25
Speaker 1: thing all the time, not to digress, but I mean
• 8:28
Speaker 1: these contraptions like, say, a pen or like the toilet
• 8:31
Speaker 1: paper rolls. These people are making money hand over fist
• 8:35
Speaker 1: for shit like that. So when you hear about people like,
• 8:39
Speaker 1: you know, this big pen fortune heir, Bruno Bick and
• 8:43
Speaker 1: his wife, the Baroness Veronique Bick. Oh, yeah. How many
• 8:48
Speaker 1: pens are sold? I'm sure there's a whole lot of
• 8:51
Speaker 1: pens being sold on a daily basis. And these people
• 8:54
Speaker 1: are getting their pockets fatter and fatter and fatter. And meanwhile,
• 9:00
Speaker 1: while they're accumulating an ungodly amount of wealth, an ungodly
• 9:05
Speaker 1: amount of power. They think it's a good idea to
• 9:09
Speaker 1: take pictures with Ghislaine Maxwell. You're the heir to this
• 9:13
Speaker 1: huge fortune, but you don't know who Ghislaine Maxwell is.
• 9:17
Speaker 1: Nobody in your crew, nobody that is with you, has
• 9:23
Speaker 1: the good sense to check on these sorts of people
• 9:27
Speaker 1: before you take pictures with them. The charity group funds
• 9:34
Speaker 1: rescue centers for girls and women who escape sex traffickers
• 9:37
Speaker 1: so they are not forced back onto the streets. And
• 9:40
Speaker 1: I give that thumbs up, right? Look, I don't know
• 9:44
Speaker 1: much about this charity group per se, and hopefully they
• 9:47
Speaker 1: do do good work, right? Hopefully they're doing this and
• 9:50
Speaker 1: this money is going to what they say it's going to.
• 9:53
Speaker 1: And they are providing for these girls who have escaped
• 9:57
Speaker 1: from this horrible, horrible plague that is affecting the whole world,
• 10:02
Speaker 1: which is sex trafficking. And hopefully they're not grifting this money.
• 10:06
Speaker 1: And it's hard for me to not be cynical when
• 10:10
Speaker 1: it comes to these charities because we've seen so much
• 10:15
Speaker 1: unearthed when it comes to the Finsen Files. when it
• 10:18
Speaker 1: comes to what we've read here in these articles, and
• 10:20
Speaker 1: just from the general day-to-day behavior of these people. So hopefully,
• 10:26
Speaker 1: this charity group is giving this money to the areas
• 10:31
Speaker 1: where they say that they're working. Because, again, how much
• 10:36
Speaker 1: of the money actually goes to these causes, and how
• 10:39
Speaker 1: much of it goes to bureaucrats and the people on
• 10:42
Speaker 1: the boards, etc., etc.? you know, before I donate to anything,
• 10:46
Speaker 1: I do a stringent search of that group to make
• 10:51
Speaker 1: sure that the money is going where they say it's
• 10:53
Speaker 1: going because it's unfortunate, but there are way too many grifters,
• 10:58
Speaker 1: especially in a high society, so-called polite New York society.
• 11:06
Speaker 1: At the swanky fundraiser, Maxwell looked on as Dollar Trey
• 11:10
Speaker 1: gave an impassioned speech supporting the group's mission and speaking
• 11:14
Speaker 1: out against sex trafficking. Well, good for her giving an
• 11:18
Speaker 1: impassioned speech, but I don't know how anyone at that
• 11:21
Speaker 1: event could look at Maxwell and not be side-eyeing her
• 11:25
Speaker 1: and saying, what in the F is this lady doing here?
• 11:27
Speaker 1: I know who that is. I know what she's up to.
• 11:31
Speaker 1: And she's at this sex trafficking event? I mean, it
• 11:33
Speaker 1: takes a huge pair of stones to make a move
• 11:37
Speaker 1: like this. Maxwell, 58, has been held without bail since
• 11:42
Speaker 1: her July arrest on charges that she recruited teenage girls
• 11:46
Speaker 1: for Epstein to abuse in the mid-90s and sometimes join
• 11:51
Speaker 1: the abuse. She has pleaded not guilty. The investigation into
• 11:55
Speaker 1: Epstein remains active, leading prosecutors said Tuesday as they argued
• 12:00
Speaker 1: to keep 40 pages of photos and 40 pages of
• 12:04
Speaker 1: documents about his survivors, a secret from Ghislaine Maxwell. So
• 12:09
Speaker 1: we've talked, we talked about this, but it does foreshadow
• 12:13
Speaker 1: more indictments and a much more vast investigation than they
• 12:18
Speaker 1: let on even just a few months ago. So it
• 12:23
Speaker 1: looks like things are moving at a rapid pace within
• 12:26
Speaker 1: the prosecutor's office and Alison Moe has shown herself to
• 12:31
Speaker 1: be somebody with some honor and somebody who really wants
• 12:34
Speaker 1: to get down and figure out what the hell happened
• 12:37
Speaker 1: here and bring justice to those who deserve it. And
• 12:41
Speaker 1: up until this point, we've had a lot of limp-wristed
• 12:43
Speaker 1: prosecutors who haven't really been willing to get down into
• 12:46
Speaker 1: the weeds and go to the mattresses. But Alison Moe
• 12:49
Speaker 1: seems to be a cut above the rest. Manhattan prosecutors
• 12:55
Speaker 1: say they want to delay giving materials from dozens of
• 12:58
Speaker 1: survivors cooperating with the government and who will not testify
• 13:03
Speaker 1: at trial to lawyers for the British socialite, co-conspirator, fellow
• 13:08
Speaker 1: child abuser, general all-around scumbag and bipedal serpent, you mean?
• 13:13
Speaker 1: They told the judge in a letter that they want
• 13:15
Speaker 1: to try to prevent lawyers for Epstein's incarcerated ex-girlfriend, co-conspirator,
• 13:20
Speaker 1: fellow child abuser, general all-around scumbag and bipedal serpent, from
• 13:26
Speaker 1: learning too much about the files until two months before
• 13:30
Speaker 1: her criminal trial next summer. So you know the federal
• 13:34
Speaker 1: government means business, right? They're leaving her out to blow
• 13:37
Speaker 1: in the wind. They want her thinking about who she's
• 13:40
Speaker 1: going to rat on, who she's willing to give up,
• 13:42
Speaker 1: and what sort of deal she's looking to kick. Because
• 13:46
Speaker 1: they're going to really go hard here. And when the
• 13:49
Speaker 1: United States federal government truly is going after somebody to
• 13:52
Speaker 1: prosecute them, they have a very, very high rate of
• 13:57
Speaker 1: successful prosecutions or plea deals. And the federal government, you
• 14:03
Speaker 1: don't want to play games like this with them. They
• 14:05
Speaker 1: will litigate you into the poorhouse, first of all. Second
• 14:09
Speaker 1: of all, when they have this kind of evidence... It's
• 14:13
Speaker 1: pretty much a wrap for this lady. I mean, she's
• 14:15
Speaker 1: going through the motions and she has to defend herself,
• 14:18
Speaker 1: but this is money wasted, in my opinion. And she's
• 14:21
Speaker 1: in for a big, rude awakening come the trial. The
• 14:27
Speaker 1: active probe leaves open the possibility of additional arrests. The
• 14:32
Speaker 1: files are said to include school pictures and bank and
• 14:35
Speaker 1: travel records. Yeah, look, we know that this large probe,
• 14:39
Speaker 1: an active grand jury... the Epstein case still being live,
• 14:44
Speaker 1: it all points to more indictments, more arrests, and more
• 14:48
Speaker 1: people being held responsible for their roles. And I am
• 14:53
Speaker 1: pretty convinced that we're going to see that. When we're
• 14:57
Speaker 1: going to see it, I don't know. Look, I'm not
• 14:59
Speaker 1: part of the California Psychics Network. I have no idea.
• 15:03
Speaker 1: But I do think that we will be seeing it
• 15:06
Speaker 1: sooner rather than later as this Gross. And before her trial,
• 15:11
Speaker 1: by the way, because I think it's going to be
• 15:14
Speaker 1: more expansive than we even think. Maxwell has hired New
• 15:19
Speaker 1: York based lawyer who has previously represented one of Osama
• 15:22
Speaker 1: bin Laden's hedgemen as she seeks to bolster her team
• 15:26
Speaker 1: ahead of her trial. Bobby Sternheim is described on the
• 15:30
Speaker 1: website of her law firm. Fazulo Braverman and DiMaggio as
• 15:35
Speaker 1: a recognized leader in litigating difficult and complex cases, i.e.
• 15:41
Speaker 1: RICO cases. She's definitely been brought in to help with
• 15:45
Speaker 1: the RICO case. They know that this is expanding and
• 15:48
Speaker 1: it's more broad than they even thought. And when they
• 15:51
Speaker 1: got the 328,000 plus pages of discovery, they truly understood
• 15:58
Speaker 1: the behemoth that was on their hands. So they brought
• 16:01
Speaker 1: in some help, a big gun, someone that knows how
• 16:03
Speaker 1: to litigate when it comes to RICO. And the lawyers
• 16:08
Speaker 1: for Maxwell are looking like they're ready to really engage
• 16:13
Speaker 1: in some trench warfare here. Epstein, 66, died in what
• 16:19
Speaker 1: was ruled a suicide in August 2019 while he was
• 16:23
Speaker 1: housed at the Metropolitan Correctional Center, a federal lockup adjacent
• 16:27
Speaker 1: to Manhattan federal courthouses. At the time, he faced federal
• 16:34
Speaker 1: sex trafficking charges and was held without bail a month
• 16:38
Speaker 1: after his arrest. Prosecutors want to delay turning materials from
• 16:42
Speaker 1: some victims over to defense until eight weeks before her trial,
• 16:47
Speaker 1: scheduled for July. A message seeking comment was left with
• 16:51
Speaker 1: lawyers for Maxwell. Prosecutors said defense lawyers have indicated they
• 16:56
Speaker 1: will oppose the secrecy request. Oh, of course they will. Look,
• 17:00
Speaker 1: like I said, they're ready to go for it now,
• 17:02
Speaker 1: especially they got Bobby Sternheim on board. They got a
• 17:06
Speaker 1: woman who can go into the trenches and really battle
• 17:08
Speaker 1: with Alison Moe and Maureen Comey and get it on.
• 17:13
Speaker 1: And that's what they were looking for, right? They knew
• 17:16
Speaker 1: that with the 328,000 documents turned over and the fact
• 17:23
Speaker 1: that there's an ongoing investigation as far as the grand
• 17:26
Speaker 1: jury is concerned, and the Epstein case, excuse me, is
• 17:30
Speaker 1: still open, you know her legal team is not stupid.
• 17:33
Speaker 1: They might be a lot of things, but they're not stupid.
• 17:36
Speaker 1: And they see the writing on the wall. They know
• 17:38
Speaker 1: what's coming. They're trying to get ahead of it. They're
• 17:42
Speaker 1: trying to get ahead of it right now, bring in
• 17:44
Speaker 1: Bobby Sternheim. That way, they're ready for when these few
• 17:48
Speaker 1: charges that she has right now bloom like you were
• 17:53
Speaker 1: watering your chia pet, right? Because it's coming, in my opinion.
• 18:02
Speaker 1: In its letter, prosecutors said revealing 40 pages of photographs
• 18:07
Speaker 1: and 40 pages of documents related to Epstein's survivors who
• 18:10
Speaker 1: were harmed after the time span by the charges against
• 18:14
Speaker 1: Maxwell could jeopardize the government's ongoing investigation and scare other
• 18:19
Speaker 1: survivors from cooperating. And it could blow hole in a
• 18:24
Speaker 1: further charge, a charge that they haven't hit her with yet, right?
• 18:27
Speaker 1: In a superseded charge to the indictment. So they're going
• 18:31
Speaker 1: to play it close to the vest. And when the
• 18:33
Speaker 1: time is right, I think it's going to be a
• 18:36
Speaker 1: nuclear strike to Ghislaine Maxwell and her hopes of beating this.
• 18:43
Speaker 1: Prosecutors said charges against Maxwell pertain to illegal sex acts
• 18:47
Speaker 1: that occurred between 1994 and 1997. But the indictment emerged
• 18:52
Speaker 1: from a wider probe that went beyond that period. And again,
• 18:57
Speaker 1: we talked about that, the large scope of this case.
• 19:00
Speaker 1: It's broad. It is vast. It is wide. And there's
• 19:04
Speaker 1: a lot of people caught up in it. I wish
• 19:07
Speaker 1: we had access to those sealed indictments. I wish we
• 19:10
Speaker 1: knew who was under investigation right now. Now, we can speculate, right?
• 19:14
Speaker 1: And we most certainly have the core four, most certainly.
• 19:18
Speaker 1: Jean-Luc Brunel, most certainly. And I believe there's some others.
• 19:22
Speaker 1: There's going to be some surprises that we weren't thinking of.
• 19:25
Speaker 1: I mean, or maybe thinking of, but not thinking that
• 19:29
Speaker 1: they would ever have to face the music. I think
• 19:32
Speaker 1: a guy like Glenn Dubin is in serious jeopardy, folks.
• 19:35
Speaker 1: I think he is in serious jeopardy. And obviously that
• 19:40
Speaker 1: story will be told over the coming months. And as
• 19:44
Speaker 1: we learn more and more about what went on. And again, remember,
• 19:49
Speaker 1: we're going to see real soon what the appeals court
• 19:52
Speaker 1: has to say about the depositions as well. So there
• 19:56
Speaker 1: is a lot more coming and we can expect this
• 20:00
Speaker 1: wild ride to continue on the path of bumpiness, corkscrews, twists,
• 20:08
Speaker 1: and all other sorts of incredibly crazy turns. Because every
• 20:18
Speaker 1: time we turn around, there's something else going on in
• 20:20
Speaker 1: this case where you're like, holy shit, is that for real?
• 20:22
Speaker 1: Is this really happening? How is that even possible? How
• 20:26
Speaker 1: didn't anyone know? So it's always something new. And now,
• 20:31
Speaker 1: as we get closer and closer to the trial, we're
• 20:34
Speaker 1: going to be hearing a lot more about what was
• 20:37
Speaker 1: going on as far as the inner workings of the
• 20:46
Speaker 1: criminal enterprise. We're going to hear a lot more about that,
• 20:50
Speaker 1: I think, coming forward as other people get arrested and
• 20:55
Speaker 1: who knows who is cooperating, right? So as discovery comes
• 20:59
Speaker 1: closer and more of these documents are released, it is
• 21:03
Speaker 1: more likely that That we're going to find out some
• 21:06
Speaker 1: things that we had no idea about. So, it's starting
• 21:13
Speaker 1: to heat up, folks. And it's starting to become a
• 21:16
Speaker 1: situation where it's time to buckle up your seatbelts. We're
