  These are all favorites and I must say again, I like to play

  dogs as well, but I would say favorites to start the year have

  done very, very well. 41 and 2661 percent, 3% ROI doesn't

  mean you play every favorite because of course you're laying

  the juice, so you got to win at a higher rate to overcome the

  juice and have a winning record. But we're going to look at some

  favorites with some sharp line moves, some good system matches,

  you know, favorite low total spots, you know, non division

  favorites, favorites, awful loss.

  Bounce back spots have been very good as well.

  yesterday, man, last night was a perfect example of why sports

  betting is extremely frustrating.

  So obviously win, loss, O and 4 -, 4 units, golden sombrero,

  pathetic, terrible, embarrassing, disgusting night.

  But aside from just, you know, 4 plays and you lose them all, it
• 3:36
  was kind of the way we lost these plays.

  I was really frustrating to me, which is a test case of having
• 3:41
  thick skin when you're betting sports.
• 3:42
  You know, I go O and four, you know, 10 years ago when I was a
• 3:45
  young pup, you know, I, I would, I would, you know, want to smash
• 3:47
  something or, you know, go nuts or flip out.
• 3:50
  I guess I got thicker skin now. And I try to just, you know, let
• 3:53
  it let it just kind of kind of, you know, water off a duck's
• 3:56
  back. Just move on.
• 3:57
  There's nothing you can do about it.
• 3:58
  But what's frustrating is that three of the games were up for
• 4:02
  pretty much the entire time. Arizona State, they're up by
• 4:04
  like 10 points with like 10 minutes left.

  Not only do they lose the game, but they don't even cover, they
• 4:09
  end up losing by 8. So we had a good number there
• 4:13
  where we had a good angle late with Arizona State, they're
• 4:16
  winning straight up. They lose and don't even cover.
• 4:18
  Absolutely imploded down the stretch.
• 4:20
  That was frustrating. Utah.
• 4:22
  Utah, we got great CLV. We money lined them at -2 1/2.
• 4:26
  They closed at 3 1/2 and they were up late in the game and
• 4:29
  then blew it against Butler. Had a chance to score late,
• 4:31
  couldn't do it. So both games were winning late
• 4:34
  and then losing and not even covering.
• 4:37
  To make matters worse, the Cardinals 3 to one lead deep
• 4:39
  into the game. They blow it.
• 4:41
  They lose an extra inning. So that stunk.

  And then the one that really was annoying, the fact that we not
• 4:46
  only did we lose the NBA play there on that over with the
• 4:49
  Rockets and Lakers, but the fact that we crushed the closing
• 4:52
  line. We got over 224 1/2 with
• 4:54
  Rockets, Lakers, it closed 226 1/2.

  You beat a closing line by two points.
• 4:59
  We perfectly, you know, found that low watermark of 224 1/2,
• 5:03
  beat the closing line by two points.

  What happens? You know, they barely cracked
• 5:07
  200 points, I think at one point.

  And This is why sports betting to me is frustrating because it

  feels personal. It's like, hey, I'm having a
• 5:13
  rough night. And there was a time up at one
• 5:14
  point where it's like, hey, you know, if we can get Utah, then
• 5:17
  we got Arizona covering Cardinals looking at three in
• 5:19
  one night. Instead, it's O and four.
• 5:21
  So that's just the razor's edge. When you're betting on sports,
• 5:23
  how you know a good night can turn into a bad night.
• 5:26
  You know, it can go the other way.
• 5:27
  You can have a bad night where you're losing and things go your
• 5:29
  way, flip it to a winning night. But that Rockets Lakers game, I
• 5:32
  feel like the score was like 13 to 11, like almost at the end of
• 5:36
  the first quarter. So what are you going to do?

  We had teams that were up looking good and blew it.

  We beat closing lines and and hey, you know, the teams didn't
• 5:45
  come through for us. So that's why betting is hard.

  That's why betting is frustrating.

  But I think the worst thing you can do after you have AO14 night

  is to one say betting aid. For me, it's too hard.

  I quit. I'm not a quitter, I'm a

  grinder. The other thing is when you're

  pissed off, you just say screw it.

  I'm betting 10 games tonight. I don't care what happens, I'm

  getting it all back. Don't do that either.

  Don't chase, don't go on tilt until is basically when you let

  your emotions take hold of you and just say screw it and start

  firing off bets. So as boring as it is, as cliche

  as it sounds, we just got to stick to the model, stick to the

  blueprint and again, teams collapse for us, beat closing

  lines and lost. Sometimes that happens.

  That's why betting is so frustrating.

  But hopefully tonight we can turn it around and claw back

  some of those lost units. So with that being said, it's

  Big 13 game slate today. I have four plays for you, so

  let's see if we can get some winners for tonight.

  So first, I'm looking at 7 O 5:00 PM Eastern Time interleague

  game between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Tampa Bay Rays.

  Let's set the stage. Talk to starting pitchers, talk
• 6:46
  line movement, and I'll give you my play for this one.

  So the Rays come in three and one.
• 6:50
  They won last night's interleague series opener
• 6:52
  against the Pirates 6 to one cash as a -, 175 home favorite.
• 6:56
  Remember, they're playing at Steinbrenner Field, the outdoor
• 6:58
  stadium, which is not the the Trop, which got screwed up and
• 7:02
  and damaged in the the bad hurricane there over the over
• 7:06
  the winter. Now today's pitching rematch
• 7:09
  here, the Pirates who are one and four.
• 7:11
  They're going to go with Thomas Harrington.
• 7:12
  If you've never heard of him, you know, don't feel ashamed.
• 7:15
  This kid is making his MLB debut.
• 7:17
  He's 23 years old. He was a first round pick.
• 7:19
  He was pretty good in the minors, 7 and three 2.61 ERA.

  Meanwhile, Tampa Bay is going to go with Shane Baz.

  He went four and three with a 2 point O 6 ERA in 2024.

  So what have you seen across the market here?

  Well, this came open with Tampa Bay around a -, 155 home
• 7:35
  favorite Pittsburgh around a + 130 row dog.

  And one thing that always look toward is when you have a a
• 7:41
  pitcher making his debut, where does the line move?
• 7:44
  You know, is it hey, this kids good and he's going to surprise
• 7:47
  the opponents. They never seen him.
• 7:48
  He's going to pitch well, wise guys are going to tail him.
• 7:51
  Or is it, hey, maybe he's good in the minors, maybe your first
• 7:53
  round pick, but you're in the big leagues now, kid and you're
• 7:56
  going to face competition that is the best you've ever seen.

  Let's fade this kid with, you know, maybe nerves and maybe
• 8:02
  maybe some some goosebumps going into his debut.

  Well, pretty clear here that wise guys have sided with the
• 8:08
  fade, the kid, the rookie kid making his debut because this
• 8:12
  line has moved toward Tampa Bay, open Tampa Bay again around -155
• 8:16
  now you're up to around -165 some shops even as high as -170
• 8:21
  so pretty clear movement toward Tampa Bay.

  At circa, the Rays are getting 80% of money line bets and 96%
• 8:29
  of money line dollars. So a really good heavy one way
• 8:32
  split in favor of Tampa Bay. Now we get into some system
• 8:35
  matches. The first thing that jumped out
• 8:37
  to me is inter league favorite. Inter league favorite?
• 8:40
  Really that's an angle here with based on the lack of familiarity
• 8:43
  benefiting the better team. Cream typically rises to the top
• 8:46
  when you don't really know each other.
• 8:47
  Typically the better team performs better the familiarity
• 8:51
  aspect. Divisional opponent.
• 8:52
  That's when you actually look toward dogs more often.
• 8:55
  But in particular, good system match here on Tampa Bay if you
• 8:58
  are a favorite with $0.10 of steam or more in a non division
• 9:02
  game. Those teams have been very, very
• 9:04
  good this year to start 12 and 571% if you're a non division
• 9:08
  home favorite off a win with steam. 9:00 and 2:00 to start
• 9:11
  this year. And I mentioned playing some
• 9:13
  chalk favorites here, but favorites on the year, 61
• 9:15
  percent, 3% ROI. Home favorites are 29 and 1467

  percent, 12% ROI. So all matching with Tampa Bay.

  The Rays do have the edge at the plate.

  They're hitting 292. I know it's early in the season,

  but hitting almost 300 as a team.

  Pirates are only hitting $1.74. Tampa Bay is also better
• 9:34
  pitching staff to ERA versus 3.86 for Pittsburgh.

  And again, Razor at home there at Steinbrenner Field.

  At least you're outside. You're no longer in the Dome.

  But there are three in one at home this year.

  Pittsburgh is just one in four on the road.

  So we have a interleague, non division favorite steam system

  match line going to Tampa Bay. We got the Rays with a really

  good bet split, low bets, higher dollars.

  I'm taking Tampa today guys, seeing if we can get a winner

  In terms of MLB, it's going to be mostly a money line sport.

  We'll mix in some totals as well, but it's very important

  that you bet to risk, not that to win.

  So what that means is betting to risk is you're always risking
• 10:14
  your one unit, whatever that means for you.
• 10:16
  I would recommend 3% of your bankroll per play.

  So if you only have 100 bucks, you're risking $3 a game.

  Every game you're risking $3.00 with $100 bankroll, regardless
• 10:25
  of the price. So it's very important here

  because if Tampa Bay loses and you bet to win, you would lose

  1.65 units. If they lose, which you don't
• 10:34
  want them to lose, of course you want to win, but you would only
• 10:37
  lose 1 unit. So it's very important here.

  You always bet to risk, not win, especially the favorites.

  If you lose on favorites, it can really, you know, dig a hole if

  you bet to win versus bet to risk.

  But I like to raise here tonight, see if they can get a

  He didn't pitch very well. Cardinals by the way, three and

  So what have you seen across the market here?

  Well, it looks like pro money is banking on Saint Louis to bounce

  back. Saint Louis open this game as

  low as -130 we've now seen Saint Louis get up to -140 -, 145 some

  shops even -150 so pretty clear 1015 even 20 cent steam move in
• 11:41
  favor of Saint Louis. Now if we look at DraftKings,
• 11:44
  the Cardinals are getting 82% of money line bets, 86% of money
• 11:49
  line dollars. At Circa, 94% of money line
• 11:52
  bets, 97% of money line dollars. That tells me both nationally at
• 11:57
  DraftKings and out in the desert at Circa.

  Yet heavy, heavy betting and a line move in favor of the
• 12:02
  Cardinals tells me the bigger, sharper wagers, more respected
• 12:05
  money is going with Saint Louis. Now we get into some system
• 12:08
  matches here. Same thing with Tampa Bay.

  We have a interleaf favorite, lack of familiarity benefiting
• 12:14
  the better team. But we also have the Cardinals a
• 12:17
  favorite off a loss. So favorites off a loss this

  year off to a great start. 16 and 673 percent, 24% ROI.

  You also look at that non division favorite with steam

  $0.10 or more 71% this year. Again, home favorite 67%.

  We got a lot of a lot of systems lighting up here on Saint Louis.

  Also bank on the Cardinals bats. They didn't come through last

  night when we needed them to. They're hitting three O one this

  10 runs scored. I would mention I was intrigued

  by this under. It opened 8 1/2.

  I really got juiced up and now it's down to 8.

  At a lot of shops. You have a pretty good bet split

  only about half the tickets, but 90% of the money is on this

  under. And we got to pay attention to

  the weather. The wind is blowing in at Busch

  Stadium. It's going to be about 10 to 15

  mile per hour winds blowing in from right field.

  So I lean under 8 1/2. But if you if you can't get the

  hook in time, it's down to 8. It it's really a lot, you know,

  a no play for me. You know, you got to get these

  hooks because of Saint Louis wins five to three, you know,

  which would be hopefully great for our money line.

  You want to catch the under 8 1/2, not the 8:00.

  But I, I did kind of think long and hard about that under 8 1/2.

  But I ended up just playing Saint Louis and you can shop

  around. I got Saint Louis at -145 next

  one for you at 9:40 PM Eastern Time game.

  Let's go out to San Diego. Cleveland guardian, San Diego

  Padres. Padres come in five and O
• 13:39
  playing very well to start the year.

  They just won last night's interleague series opener seven

  to two, cruising as a -, 135 home favorite pitching match up

  Tonight we got the Guardians who are two and two going with the

  lefty Logan Allen. He went eight and five with a

  5.73 ERA last year. He'll be opposed by the righty

  Michael King now. King was awesome last year.

  He only made one start. This year wasn't great.

  They still won the game, but technically is ERA is 10.13,

  which doesn't really give you a lot of confidence.

  But remember it's one start. If anything, hopefully we're

  buying low on Michael King now. What are we seeing across the

  market? Good steam here laying it with

  San Diego. San Diego open this game as well

  as a -, 140 -, 145 -, 150 home favorite.

  We're now seeing wise guys say, you know what, if it ain't

  broke, don't fix it. They're playing the Padres here.

  Lay in the wood. I've seen San Diego now, now get

  bet up to around -165 even -175 across the market.

  So good steam in favor of the fathers at circa Padres. 88% of

  money line bets 99% of money line dollars.

  A huge low bets, higher dollars, sharp split in favor of San

  Diego. Now the Padres.

  One thing we want to layer in if we're making a bet, not just the

  line move in the splits, but system matches and other

  supplementary factors. One thing I like if you're on a

  kind of a bigger favorite, you know -150 or more is a low total

  total in this one is 7 1/2. So the theory here is the
• 15:05
  thought process and the data proves it out.

  If you're expected run scored, more likely to come from quote
• 15:10
  UN quote the better team who's favorite in the game, which
• 15:13
  would be the Padres here. Padres would be 1 system match,
• 15:17
  you know, or at least the home favorites who have done great
• 15:19
  67% this year. Interleague favorite again, lack
• 15:23
  of familiarity. Padres also better hitting
• 15:27
  overall hitting 290 versus 258 for Cleveland and really
• 15:30
  pitching well. Knock on wood. 1.8 O ERA versus

  3.86 for San Diego and San Diego is a perfect five and O at home

  this year and it looks like maybe a lower scoring game.

  Some books are juicing up under 7 1/2.

  The split looks pretty good. 28% bets 55% dollars on the under at

  DraftKings and 33% bets 43% dollars on the under at Circa.

  I didn't play the under but I did notice the wind is blowing

  in about 10 to 15 mph from left field.

  But you got it all up. This is another kind of home

  steam non division interleague favorite system match.

  Playing the San Diego pods tonight, I was able to get them

  This is the ultimate value. Play a very good, extremely good

  team at a pretty cheap price. Now let's look toward 10:10 PM

  Eastern Time, the Braves and the Dodgers.

  Now going into it, we got Chris Sale on the bump for Atlanta.

  Remember, he won the Cy Young as a Red Sox fan.

  Super annoying because he could never stay healthy.

  And then boom, gets traded. Vaughn Gresham with the Sox, got

  for Sale, can't even crack the big leagues and Sail wins the Cy
• 16:38
  Young. So don't remind me as a Red Sox

  fan so far this year, Sale O&O 5.4 O ERA.

  He'll be opposed by Dustin May now, he set out the entire
• 16:48
  season last year. He had Tommy John surgery, so

  it's his first start back. Atlanta O and five to start the
• 16:55
  season. O and five on the road.

  Dodgers 6 and O four and O at home this year.
• 16:59
  So really tale of, you know, 2 completely different starts to

  these teams. Now, what are we seen across the

  market? Will this game open at a very
• 17:07
  low LA Dodgers around -130 ish? And they're basically still -130
• 17:13
  ish. So this is not a big steam move
• 17:15
  in favor of the Dodgers. But this is a value play for me
• 17:18
  to play the Dodgers. And I'll give you a couple
• 17:20
  reasons why #1 Dodgers value. I literally have a system called
• 17:25
  Dodgers value when the Dodgers are a favorite of -150 or less.

  And why is this value? Because Dodgers have been so
• 17:32
  good for so many years now, they're usually -200 you know
• 17:36
  -250 when they're a low number here -150 or less.
• 17:41
  They are since 20/22/85. And 4366%, you'd be up $2200
• 17:48
  risking 100 bucks on every Dodgers game when they're -150
• 17:51
  or less, 17% ROI. And I believe to start the year
• 17:57
  this year in this spot -130 or less, they're two and O Yeah,
• 18:00
  they're two and O. So last year there were 32 and
• 18:03
  17/20/23, there are 34 and 19. 2022, they were 17 and seven.

  And they've actually been, you know, winning previous years

  too. But really, if you isolate since

  2022, when you get the Dodgers at a very short number, it may

  not be the sharp play. You know, to me, it's a value

  play. It's very rare.

  It's like you're getting the Chiefs.

  You know, maybe it's a bad example because Chiefs lost the

  Super Bowl, but you know, I don't know the eagles -2 -. 3

  something like that. So I'm going to play the Dodgers

  here. I do like to split at circa 61%

  bets, 74% dollars. They have the better average to

  start the year. They're hitting 234.

  Doesn't sound great, but Atlanta's only hitting 144.

  Dodgers have scored 45 runs versus only 22 for Atlanta.

  We do have favorite low total total.

  A lot of angles here with that Dodgers value play.

  Also, Elena struggled and, you know, jerks and Profar just got

  popped for PEDs. So I don't know, to me that's,

  you know, a bad sign, bad for the locker room.

  Who knows, But he's a good player who's not going to play.

  So Long story short, this is not a massive steam move.

  You know, it's not a, you know, insane bet split, But this is a

  play on a really good team that if you're giving me this cheap
