- 3:09be considering a very interesting portion of scripture that has
- 3:20been a blessing to me personally. And let me request
- 3:25that you please lend me your attention to scriptures looking
- 3:30on to Jesus. Hebrews Chapter two. Will read from verse
- 3:34one and two Hebrews Chapter two. Therefore we Hebrews twelve,
- 3:40my Apologists twelve one and two Hebrews twelve. Wherefore, seeing
- 3:46that we're encompassed with so great a cloud of witnesses,
- 3:51let us lay aside every weight and the scene which
- 3:54dot easily beset us, and to run with patience or
- 3:58perseverance the race that is set before us, looking on
- 4:03too Jesus, the author and finish of our faith, who
- 4:07for the joy that was set before him, endured the cross,
- 4:11despising the shame, and he sat down at the right
- 4:15hand of God looking onto Jesus. Let's go to p
- 4:20Thirty four, or begin my reading from verse one. Psalm
- 4:25thirty four. I will bless the Lord at all times.
- 4:30His praise shall continually be in my mouth. Verse two.
- 4:35My soul shall make her boasting the Lord. The humble
- 4:38shall hear of and be glad or magnify the Lord
- 4:42with me, And let us exalt his name forever altogether.
- 4:47I sought the Lord, and he heard me and delivered
- 4:51me from all my fears. Read verse five. Together, please
- 4:54one to go aha, and they were lightened, and the
- 5:00faces were not as shave. One more time they looked
- 5:04onto him and were lightened, and their faces were not
- 5:09as shame. Verse six, reading to ten. The poor man cried,
- 5:16and the Lord heard him and saved him out of
- 5:18all his troubles. Seven. The Angel of the Lord encompath
- 5:22round about them that fear him, and delivered them. All
- 5:25taste and see that the Lord is good. Blessed is
- 5:28the man that trusted in him. Verse nine. All fear
- 5:32the Lord ye his sayings, for there is no want
- 5:35to them that fear him. Final verse the young lions
- 5:39do lack and suffer hunger. But they that seek the
- 5:43Lord shall not want any good thing. The Lord bless
- 5:46the reading of his word in the name of Jesus
- 5:50Christ for a start this morning. The Bible lets us
- 5:55know that our sojourn on earth is like to running
- 6:01a race. That for every morning you wake up, at
- 6:05night you resort back to bed. For every day that
- 6:09turns to a week, that turns to a month, that
- 6:12turns to years. The Bible gives us a picture of
- 6:16an athlete running erase. Now that statement may not be
- 6:20immediately obvious if you consider your life per day or
- 6:24per second, But when you consider the span of your life,
- 6:28maybe for years, decades, you will agree with Paul that
- 6:33this life is truly a race. So he tells us
- 6:37that there is a race that is set before us,
- 6:41set before every believer. Are we together now? He's likening
- 6:45our sojourn on earth to a race. Life and destiny
- 6:51is likened to a race, the race that is set
- 6:55before you. That race begins from the day you are
- 6:58born and it culminates the day that you transit in glory.
- 7:04And there are certain expectations that God has within that
- 7:08period of running that you call your lifetime. Are we
- 7:12learning now? The second thing I want us to know
- 7:15is that there is a strategy. This is a message
- 7:19that has impacted my life. There is a way to
- 7:22run such that you win. There is a way to
- 7:26run such that you are victorious. And Paul begins to
- 7:31introduce that strategy that there is a way believers are
- 7:35supposed to run that race, and that if they work
- 7:39in keeping with that strategy, there is a guarantee that
- 7:43they will win. And he calls the name of that strategy,
- 7:46looking on to Jesus, allelujah. So he says, scene that
- 7:52were compassed by so great a cloud of witnesses. Let
- 7:56us lay aside every weight and the scene that not
- 7:59easily be set us. Then when we're done, it says,
- 8:02to run the race that is before us. Then it says,
- 8:06looking onto Jesus. Now, this is a very interesting way
- 8:10of running, because I presume everyone here at one point
- 8:13or the other, you've been involved in athletics, and if
- 8:17you run, say, for instance, a one hundred meter dash,
- 8:20you don't look onto a person. You look onto a destination.
- 8:24Am I right on that? But the Bible says this
- 8:27kind of running, your attention is not on the end.
- 8:31Your attention is not on a place. Your attention is
- 8:35not on a location. Your focus is on a person
- 8:39that in running this race that we call life. You
- 8:43only win when you take away your attention from things,
- 8:47You take away your attention from a place, and you
- 8:50look onto Jesus. The Bible calls him the author and
- 8:54the perfector or the finisher of our faith. Allelujah. And
- 8:58then he tells us why we need to look onto Jesus,
- 9:02who consider that in a bit that this Jesus will
- 9:06look onto. He calls him the author. The word author
- 9:09is the word the same word genesis, the beginning, the originate,
- 9:14or the source, the starting point, and then the perfecta
- 9:19of our faith. That this is the reason why we
- 9:22must look on to Jesus. Pray the name of the Lord.
- 9:25Now very quickly, the word look. I want to stay
- 9:29here for a bit this morning. The word look is
- 9:32a very interesting word. When you read it from an
- 9:36English standpoint, you will think he's just saying look at
- 9:40or maybe just fix your eyes on. But it's beyond that.
- 9:43And for the purpose of our discussion this morning, I
- 9:45want to give us two perspectives on that word look.
- 9:48Number one, the word look means to direct one's gaze
- 9:56or focus towards someone or something we expectation. To look
- 10:02means to direct your gaze, to direct your focus on
- 10:08someone or something with expectation. You find that expression in
- 10:14Acts chapter three. Acts Chapter three, the Bible says, at
- 10:17the hour of prayer, Peter and John went to pray,
- 10:21and then two a certain man was lame from his
- 10:26mother's womb, whom they carried daily to the temple, and
- 10:29he was asking for arms. Verse three, Now says who's
- 10:32seeing Peter? You see that now? And John about to
- 10:36go into the temple, He asked for arms. Four, and Peter,
- 10:40fastening his eyes upon him, said look on us. And
- 10:46the Bible says the man gave heed. So you see
- 10:49the looking there was not just fix your eyes. The
- 10:52way the man looked was to give heed. Verse five.
- 10:56He gave heed onto them expecting in So this idea
- 11:02of looking is not just fix your eyes, give heed,
- 11:05pay attention, direct your focus expecting to receive something of them.
- 11:11Are we learning already? So to look means to direct
- 11:15one's gaze, to direct one's focus towards someone, In this
- 11:20case the Lord Jesus Isaiah chapter fifty and verse seven.
- 11:25Isaiah chapter fifty and verse seven. For the Lord God
- 11:32will help me someone receive it. Say amen, therefore I
- 11:35shall not be confounded. Therefore I have set my face
- 11:40like a flint, and I know that I shall not
- 11:44be ashamed. Allelujah. Now, this idea of looking demands two things.
- 11:52Please look at me. This idea of looking demands two things.
- 11:56Number one, you have to look away from then you
- 12:01have to look towards Are we together? So for instance,
- 12:05we have some gentlemen behind me, and you are before me.
- 12:10Now I am looking at you. Is that correct? That
- 12:13immediately means I am looking away from them. There's no
- 12:17possibility of looking at you and looking at them at
- 12:21the same time, because one is at my back and
- 12:23the other is in front. So when the Bible says
- 12:26looking onto Jesus, the first law of looking is that
- 12:30you must look away from some things. You cannot set
- 12:34your gaze and your focus on Jesus while still considering
- 12:38certain things away Together, the Bible says, Abraham, conceie that
- 12:44not concede that not there are things this morning. If
- 12:49you were to run that race looking onto Jesus, effectively,
- 12:52you must look away from, for instance, looking away from
- 12:56your crowns and achievements of the past, looking away from
- 13:00your pain and disappointments. Are we together looking away from
- 13:04what did not work last year? And also looking away
- 13:08from what walked last year. I like the way Paul
- 13:11puts it. He says, this one thing I do forgetting
- 13:18the things that are behind. He never said forgetting the
- 13:22bad things, or the evil things, or the disappointments. Forgetting
- 13:27the things that are behind me and reaching forth for
- 13:31the things that are before me. He says, I press
- 13:34towards the mark of the high calling in Christ Jesus.
- 13:39There are many people who are not able to focus
- 13:42on Jesus because there are encumbrances that are vying for
- 13:48your attention. The bills are there, the medical report is there,
- 13:53the family situation is there. Your need for a job
- 13:57is there. The frustrations that have come from you know,
- 14:00ends not meeting all there. But the Bible says, if
- 14:04you must look onto Jesus to win, you must sustain
- 14:08the ability to look away away together now, to look
- 14:14away in spite of the medical report, in spite of
- 14:18the family situation, and in spite of your achievements of yesterday.
- 14:23You know, I've learned a few things about success, and
- 14:26one of it is that success can lead to failure. Allelujah.
- 14:31There are many people who have failed today because they
- 14:34succeeded yesterday. And so we must look onto Jesus, set
- 14:40our gaze and look away. There are voices, there are pictures,
- 14:46there are imageries, there are reports that are vying clamoring
- 14:50for your attention. And as a final word, in this conference.
- 14:55If you are to make sense of everything you began
- 14:57to receive from the start of this conference, you must
- 15:00make up your mind that, in the name of Jesus,
- 15:03in this year twenty twenty five, I will look away
- 15:06from certain things. Are we together? Do you know when
- 15:11you set your mind on a wrong thing, it can
- 15:14waste your time, depress you. In fact, psychologists teach us
- 15:18that focus creates feelings, say that after me, focus creates
- 15:24feelings one more time. For instance, if I call you
- 15:30now and I tell you the pastor your pastor has
- 15:33instructed me to give you one million mira, what happens
- 15:37to you? See some of you smiling? Although you know
- 15:41I'm joking. You see what just happened to you? You
- 15:44know what I'm saying is but the whole idea of
- 15:47a good thing coming to you. Focus creates feelings. If
- 15:52whilst you are seated here, God forbid, you hear that
- 15:55some tragic situation is happening somewhere because of that information,
- 16:00isn't it amazing that, for instance, you receive and alertin
- 16:04your phone you've not verified with That is a mistake.
- 16:07You've not verified. You're smiling, you are happy, you are
- 16:09giving glory to Jesus. You are even rolling on the ground.
- 16:15You're not shure he Atm is working. You've not verified reather.
- 16:18The money was reversed. It was a wrong transfer. The
- 16:21fact that it came around your domain. You are happy
- 16:23the same way you can hear bad news and suddenly
- 16:26begin to cry. Listen to me. If you must succeed
- 16:30in your life, you must take the responsibility of guarding
- 16:34your ear gate and your eye gate. Did you hear
- 16:38what I said? Your eye gate and your ear gate.
- 16:41These are very important gates that can shape your destiny. Allelujah,
- 16:49your ear gate and your eye gate. So the Bible says,
- 16:54looking on to Jesus, you direct your gaze, You direct
- 16:59your focus to void of destruction. The second definition of
- 17:04looking onto Jesus means to rely on and I want
- 17:06to stay here. So the first has to do it
- 17:09focus void of distruction and to set your gaze, your attention,
- 17:15your focus on Jesus. But the second gives the idea
- 17:19of reliance and depending on Jesus. This one talks about trust.
- 17:25This one talks about believing on Jesus. Perhaps Chapter three,
- 17:30hundreverse five says trust in the Lord with all your
- 17:34heart is that in your Bible, and lean not onto
- 17:37thine own understanding. It says, in all your ways, acknowledge him,
- 17:41and he shall direct your part. It says, be not
- 17:45wise in your own eyes, fear the Lord, and turn
- 17:49away from evil. So follow my thoughts now. When the
- 17:52Bible says to look onto Jesus for a discussion this morning,
- 17:56it means two things. Number one, to look away from
- 18:01and to direct your gaze your focus on Jesus. Number
- 18:05two is to come to a point where you can
- 18:08trust and believe in Jesus. It says, if you will
- 18:12believe in him, you shall see the glory of the Lord.
- 18:17To rely on to believing, to take Jesus as a
- 18:24person and as his word as dependable as worthy of
- 18:29trust absolute trust, are we together now Psam One twenty three.
- 18:35From verse one and two. To depend on Jesus, it says,
- 18:40onto thee lift eye up my eyes, all thou that
- 18:44dwellest in the heavens. Verse two, behold, as the eyes
- 18:49of the servants look onto the hand of their masters,
- 18:53and as the eyes of a maiden onto the hand
- 18:56of her mistress, So our eyes are upon you. You
- 18:59get the idea now, so he's using what they call
- 19:04it now, He's using a description to help you understand
- 19:08what it means for your eyes to wait upon the Lord.
- 19:11He says, as a servant looks onto the hand of
- 19:14his master, knowing that the salary my innings would have
- 19:18to come from the hand of my master. I depend
- 19:21on my master totally for my survival. And as a maiden,
- 19:25she knows that she's depending on the love the benevolence
- 19:29of her mistress. That should her mistress change her mind,
- 19:33it can affect her destiny. He said in that signitude,
- 19:37my eyes are on you. That means, Lord, if you
- 19:40do not help me, help cannot come from anywhere. I
- 19:43don't have another alternative. You are not Plan A, so
- 19:46that I consider Plan B. I have come to a
- 19:49point of settled assurance that if you do not help
- 19:52my life, you do not help my destiny. There is
- 19:55no way out. How many of you believe that? Listen,
- 19:57let me tell you something about working with God. For
- 20:00as long as you still know an alternative in your heart,
- 20:04you will never see the best of God. The jealousy
- 20:07of God demands that he becomes absolute and only not
- 20:11just the first, but the only most times we are
- 20:16not able to see the power and the glory of
- 20:18God in our lives because secretly we have alternatives. This plan,
- 20:23b there's plan. See this plan be in case God
- 20:27fails us. As much as we say, Lord, I trust you,
- 20:30somewhere in our heart, we've not been persuaded that He's
- 20:34able to keep that which is committed onto him against
- 20:37that day. And so to save ourselves embarrassment, we put
- 20:42him as the main plan. And then we have all
- 20:45kinds of alternatives. Prays the name of the Lord. So
- 20:50when the Bible says to look onto Jesus as a
- 20:53strategy for winning the race of life, number one, it
- 20:58means to take your eyes away from your attention, away
- 21:02from both good and bad things provided there and you're yesterday.
- 21:06It says to focus on Jesus. And then number two,
- 21:10to rely and depend on him. I have learned in
- 21:14my work with God, not just as a man of God,
- 21:16but as a believer, that it pays to totally depend
- 21:21on Jesus. My life is an absolute product of dependence
- 21:25on Him. Men can fail you, Systems can fail you.
- 21:29The promises of men can fail. Men do not fail
- 21:32because they are evil. They fail because they are men.
- 21:35Someone can promise you to give you your house rent
- 21:38and not tell you that his promise was connected to
- 21:41another person's promised to him. And you come later, and
- 21:44he says, my intention remains the same, only that the
- 21:47person to bless me, so I can bless you disappointed me,
- 21:53very very powerful understanding. They looked on to him, and
- 21:56their faces were lightened. There is no shame for the
- 21:59man who decides to depend on God. Now, God will
- 22:03always use men. Men are channels, not sources. When men
- 22:07become saorces, they you have made them idols, and the
- 22:11jealousy of God will insist that that plan does not work.
- 22:15When a man becomes your source, that man has become
- 22:19your idol. But when God becomes your source, he can
- 22:22use any man at all, not the man you want,
- 22:26not the man you choose, anyone at all. Allelujah.
- 22:36Speaker 3: You are the first.
- 22:40Speaker 1: You are the street, You are the hung leave in
- 22:46deep inside of me.
- 22:51Speaker 3: You are the food.
- 22:54Speaker 1: That sadest fast.
- 22:58Speaker 3: You are prove for the journey of my life.
- 23:07Speaker 1: You are everything that's a language of dependence.
- 23:14Speaker 3: You are everything.
- 23:18Speaker 1: There are chariots and horses, but you are every join
- 23:26me to make that proclamation just one time. You are everything.
- 23:33I know. I have an uncle and a nanti, but
- 23:36you ah. I know. I have several degrees and certifications,
- 23:43but you.
- 23:44Speaker 3: Are every.
- 23:48Speaker 1: I have my passport stamped with all kinds of visus
- 23:51representing access to nations. But you are everything. I'm leading
- 23:55you into a confession that gives you liberty. I have
- 23:58an uncle that is a senate. I have an uncle
- 24:01whose benevolence has been tested through the years, But you
- 24:04are everything. I have a responsible father, a responsible mother
- 24:09who have vowed to take care of me.
- 24:11Speaker 3: But you are everything.
- 24:12Speaker 1: I have a high paying job that has potentials to
- 24:16scale me higher and higher. But you are everything. Someone shouts,
- 24:20you are everything, not just you are my greatest You
- 24:24are everything. When he becomes your everything, he takes the
- 24:28responsibility over your life. The word trust comes from the
- 24:31Hebrew word buttah. It means to throw yourself like a baby,
- 24:36trusts himself from an altitude, expecting the father to hold him.
- 24:40So he says, trusting the Lord, you see. You can
- 24:44have faith in what is unseen. But trust is based
- 24:47on a track record, track record. When David stood before Goliad,
- 24:53he said, I know the God that delivered the lion
- 24:56and the bear to me, He will also deliver you
- 24:59to me. Is uncircumcised philistine. Someone learning this morning, I'll
- 25:07sing this song one more time. It's not a special number.
- 25:11When I get to that part, you are everything. I
- 25:14want you to join me by singing that song. Someone
- 25:17is dethroning idols, the things that have study in as God,
- 25:21not allowing God to be God in your life. Because
- 25:24every time you say amen in your mind, you are
- 25:27saying Amen through my uncle, Amen, through my auntie, Amen,
- 25:31through my job, Amen, through my bank account. Dependence on
- 25:37God demands that you strip yourself of any auxillary support
- 25:42system as a source. Someone learning.
- 25:50Speaker 3: You are the first. You are the string.
- 25:57Speaker 1: You are the hungly even deep inside of me, you
- 26:05are the food that's sad as fact. You are provis
- 26:14for the journey.
- 26:16Speaker 3: Of my life.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Here's You're part of the song.
- 26:20Speaker 3: Now you are everything.
- 26:25Speaker 1: Let it be a confession from your heart. You are
- 26:30every for someone who came to charge. This is your
- 26:34deliverance right now.
- 26:36Speaker 3: You are everything.
- 26:40Speaker 1: Cast your crown, cast every other thing.
- 26:42Speaker 3: And say you everything.
- 26:50Speaker 1: Take this song and use it as a purifier of
- 26:54idolatry throughout the day. Singing. When you get back home.
- 26:58You may not know every what I sung, but keep
- 27:01this one in your heart and sing it while the
- 27:03tears roll out as a sign of dependence. That Lord,
- 27:07this year, I'm not going to stand before people and
- 27:10lie that I trust you, whereas I'm there sending text
- 27:13to people and say you've not gotten back to me.
- 27:17You've not gotten back to me. If I say amen,
- 27:20it means if God does not do it, let me
- 27:22remain a failure honorably. Let it be that God could
- 27:26not step in, but that you look onto a man
- 27:29you enterre conveidant with your destiny, that this is the
- 27:33year I will depend on God, who is learning this
- 27:37morning looking onto Jesus. Paul is giving us the strategy
- 27:42that helps us to finish this mysterious race called life.
- 27:47And he says, we'll look onto Jesus, focusing on him
- 27:51now very quickly. Why do we look onto Jesus? Why
- 27:57do we have to look onto Jesus? It's important that
- 28:01we don't just believe religiously. Number one is found in
- 28:05Some one twenty seven, from verse one and two Some
- 28:08one twenty seven. Why should I look on the labor
- 28:17in vain that build it, except the Lord watches over
- 28:21a city, the watch men watch it. But in vain
- 28:25Verse two, it is vain for you to rise up,
- 28:28ha and to rise up early, Rise up Elli. Do
- 28:34you know someone who is like that, rise up early
- 28:37and to sit up late? But at the end of
- 28:41it you only eat the bread of sorrow, not because
- 28:43you are wanting in the area of diligence, but that
- 28:47the Lord has not come to your rescue as a helper.
- 28:49Why do we look onto Jesus, because truly behind the
- 28:54results that come from men is the hand of God.
- 28:57If God takes a step out of a man's life,
- 29:00your emotions can continue, but it will not deliver. Why
- 29:05should we look onto Jesus? Romance nine and verse sixteen.
- 29:10The second reason why we must look onto Jesus is
- 29:13someone learning. Let's read together, one to go so then
- 29:17it is not of him that we leth now of
- 29:21him that run it, but of God that showed messy.
- 29:25Someone shout messy, I'm glad this is the name of
- 29:28your conference, shouted against a messy. It is not of
- 29:32him that we let all. I have seen people enter
- 29:35the embassy looking responsible, very responsible. With time, are we
- 29:42together and even a cross, and they went out without
- 29:45a visa. And I've seen someone looking like an umbro,
- 29:48but not for insult. I'm sorry, strolling and with disrientation
- 29:53and confusion, it still came out with a visa. Have
- 29:57you seen that kind of thing that someone has applied
- 29:59for saying I want to go and see my wife.
- 30:02This is our marriage certificate. I've not seen my son,
- 30:06and ten times he will apply. And yet another person
- 30:10can be before the counsulor. Am I doing something wrong? Allelujah,
- 30:20Praise God, Praise the name of the Lord, Alleluiah, Thank you.
- 30:26Someone else is standing before the counsulor and even arguing
- 30:30with the man, and the man says, you look so funny.
- 30:33I don't know what okay? So congratulations. How there are
- 30:37things by in life. If you don't know God, you
- 30:39will be angry for reasons because the equations in the
- 30:43life of people will not adopt. Many times, are we
- 30:48together when you see God loving Jacob and hating Isa?
- 30:52So good to see you. Blessings of grace, Blessings of grace.
- 30:55Let's honor him. Allelujah, Praise the name of the Lord together.
- 31:01Why would God give the household of David a land
- 31:03like this. It's sure not the only person in Legos.
- 31:11It is not of him that will let to learn
- 31:13it early, Learn it early, learn it early, honestly, And
- 31:18I don't downplay the place of diligence, but I have
- 31:21seen people. If they ever told you they will beg
- 31:24for prayer based on their qualification, you will not believe it.
- 31:27But till today have you seen people like that? Some
- 31:30of them you were in school with them, and one
- 31:32day as they were submitting applications for jobs, after decades
- 31:37sitting in your position, you now saw your own application
- 31:41and you're like, it's not and you call the person,
- 31:44how are you so sus so person? You mean you
- 31:47don't have a job? Till now it says twenty one
- 31:50years now, no job. Someone said thank you Jesus. Remember
- 31:56he's messy for one minute and say thank you Jesus. Alleluyah.
- 32:03I've heard of men of God who go to preach
- 32:05somewhere and minister to people to be healed, and nobody
- 32:09gets here and they's tone them out of that meeting.
- 32:13But some of us have had the honor of traveling
- 32:16and by the messages of God, he has brought confirmation
- 32:18to his world, to the glory of his name. I
- 32:20have learned that it is not of Him that willeth,
- 32:24nor of him that run it. It is of the
- 32:26Lord that showed messy. Are we together now? Why do
- 32:32we look onto Jesus? Number three very quickly Psalm sixty
- 32:39two and verse eleven. The third reason why Paul admonishes
- 32:44that we should look onto Jesus is because power belongs
- 32:48to God. He is the ultimate Costtardian of power. The
- 32:54power to change your situation, The power to give you
- 32:58a new beginning recites only with Him, not him and
- 33:01another entity. I God has spoken ones. But I have
- 33:06heard twice that power power, any kind of power, the
- 33:11power to get a job. Are we together now? The
- 33:14power to have a child, the power to build your
- 33:17house resides with God. If it does not give you
- 33:20that power, the power to prosper, you know, let me
- 33:24tell you sincerely. I've seen people who have brought ideas,
- 33:31and sometimes they bring these ideas for prayer, sincerely for prayer,
- 33:35and they say, Apostle, can you imagine that I am
- 33:37in this Nigeria and with this kind of idea. I
- 33:41know the government needs the idea. I know in fact
- 33:44that if this idea is to find visibility, it will
- 33:47help Africa. And truly, upon proving the idea, you see
- 33:51that this idea was intelligently presented. But what the idea
- 33:56lacks is power, power to be seen. I would always
- 34:02recall a story. Last year, I had a meeting in
- 34:05Enogo and whilst returning back, I think I saw people
- 34:11gathered around, you know, a tea junction, and I was
- 34:14wondering why they were goathered there, and I saw them laughing.
- 34:17I got to find out that a young guy designed
- 34:21like a jew wagon. Truly, he designed it a small
- 34:25version of it. You were gone, so he was doing
- 34:27the like a simulation of it, and people gathered and
- 34:31I talked to myself, I said, this guy with this
- 34:33j wagon will most likely beg for bread. Are you
- 34:37seeing where the help of God comes? Let me tell
- 34:39you the truth. It's not always the skills that are known.
- 34:43It's not always the intelligence that I rewarded. It's the
- 34:46one who accesses power from God, power from God, power
- 34:52from God, power from God. And I'm praying for someone,
- 34:58this all powerful God who has invested his name in
- 35:03the person Jesus. I decree and declare because you have
- 35:06set your gaze to depend on him. May that dimension
- 35:10of power begin to work for you. In the name
- 35:14of Jesus Christ. I look on to him because power
- 35:20belongs to God. Power belongs to God, Power belongs to God.
- 35:26Number four is someone learning Psalm one one three From
- 35:34verse one, I want to give you the fourth reason.
- 35:39Praise ye the Lord. Praise oh ye servants of the Lord,
- 35:42prays the name of the Lord. Verse two. Blessed be
- 35:45the name of the Lord from this time forth and forevermore.
- 35:49Why is it blessing the name of the Lord? He says,
- 35:52from the rising of the Son to the going down
- 35:54of the same, the Lord's name is to be praised.
- 35:57Reading to verse nine. Four, the Lord is higher both
- 36:00all the nations and his glory above the heavens. Verse five.
- 36:04Who is like onto thee O Lord, our God, who
- 36:08dwell let on high, six, who humbled himself to be
- 36:13all the things that are in heaven and that are
- 36:15in earth. Verse seven. Read this convincingly as the fourth
- 36:20reason why your is must be gazed on him. Ready,
- 36:22want to go. He raises up the poor out of
- 36:27the dust and lifted the needy. Readly one more time,
- 36:31Please he raises up the poor out of the dust
- 36:36and lifted the needy from out of the dunghill verse eight,
- 36:40now that he may set him with princes, even with
- 36:45the princess of his people. Final verse nine, he maketh
- 36:49the barring woman someone say amen, Say it for your sister,
- 36:54say it for someone you know, Say it for a
- 36:56family that has been praying for years. He maketh the
- 37:00barrying woman to keep a house and to be a
- 37:03joyful mother of how many not a child? Children, a
- 37:09joyful mother. So when you set your eyes on Jesus,
- 37:12you have this orientation that I'm setting my eyes on
- 37:16the one who can liftop a poor man. That someone
- 37:20who came to let us holding just one back, not
- 37:23knowing what to do, depending on Jesus, can become a
- 37:26landlord by the end of that year, a mystery that
- 37:29only the power of God can explain. Does that look
- 37:32like your testimony this year? That God will surprise you.
- 37:35By the end of the year you will look back
- 37:38and be crying. Your tears will do the worship. Not
- 37:41years of pain, but years of joy. We look to
- 37:48your way. Yeahweh our home is yah way. Yeah way.
- 38:00We look to Yahweh, Yahweh forever Yahweh. Why does Paul
- 38:15insist that we look onto Jesus Psalm eighteen and verse
- 38:19twenty nine. I hope God is speaking to you this morning.
- 38:23Let's read together. Are you ready? One to go? Come on?
- 38:27Come on, household of David. Let's write again, one to go?
- 38:33Speaker 3: Aha.
- 38:34Speaker 1: And by my God, So when you see someone from
- 38:40household of David this year doing things that you know
- 38:44ordinary men cannot do, know that there is one who
- 38:47backs him. For by the I have run to a troop,
- 38:53and by my God, I have leaped over a wall
- 39:00impossible feits. When David stood before Goliad, he said, you
- 39:06come to me with your your swords and spares, But
- 39:11I come to you in a name. I come to
- 39:15you in I'm holding a sling, but don't be deceived
- 39:18by what I'm holding. I come to you in the name,
- 39:21in a name, in a name. And Goliad began to
- 39:26talk arrogantly. Am I a dog Israel? It is this
- 39:29is your best? You bring this small boy. You want
- 39:31me to kill this boy in a way that discourages you,
- 39:35And David said, this is what will happen. I will
- 39:37bring you down by my sling and use your own
- 39:40sword to take off your head. Confidence in the name
- 39:45of Jesus, I pray for someone. The way you speak
- 39:47this year would change because you will stand confident in
- 39:52the fact that the one who can cause you to
- 39:54run through a troop is the one who defends you.
- 39:57You will make certain or das your statements that will
- 39:59look like pride until the results VI indicate you in
- 40:05the name of Jesus. For instance, if you speak that
- 40:10no month, no preceding month, or no January, February, March, April,
- 40:18in incremental measures, every month before or every month after
- 40:23will be greater than the month before. You get what
- 40:25I'm saying that your February most be better than January.
- 40:29Say amen, match better than February. When you are tired
- 40:34of receiving, you can keep quiet. April better than match,
- 40:37May better than April, June better than May, July better
- 40:43than June, August better than July, September better than August,
- 40:48October better than September, November better than October, and December
- 40:53will be the crown of it all. By you, I
- 41:00can run through a troop, and by my God, I
- 41:03can leap over a wall. It's that silver and gold
- 41:06I do not have, but such as I have, I
- 41:09have a name, Rise, open, walk, allelujah. Why look because
- 41:21only God has the key of David, the one who
- 41:26opens a door. Revelations, Chapter three, from verse eight. Why
- 41:31do you look on to him? Because he's the holder
- 41:34of the key of David, verse seven and verse eight.
- 41:39That he holds the key of David, the one who
- 41:43opens a door. Someone say amen, no, because there are
- 41:47many doors you need open this year, dose of relationships,
- 41:51doors of business connections. You have tried by sending email.
- 41:55It didn't work. You tried by sending a text on cool.
- 41:59I'm still yeah. After five years of your promise, why
- 42:03don't you depend on the one who is the holder
- 42:06of the key of David. He opens a door that
- 42:10no man can shot, and he shots a door that
- 42:14no man can open. He can open the door in
- 42:20nation for you. He can open the door an industry
- 42:23for you.
- 42:24Speaker 3: I tell you.
- 42:24Speaker 1: Sincerely, he can Your my glory, the left up for
- 42:32my hair. You are my glory. You're the lift up
- 42:39of my hair, Your my glory, the lift ter up
- 42:46of my hair. Singing one time, your my glory, the
- 42:52lift chirrup my your my glory. The lift ter up,
- 43:01You're my glovery. Hear me this year, sorry for any
- 43:10man who says, over my dead body for you to rise,
- 43:14they will apologize from January till December, because every year
- 43:18will be a manifestation. Every month will be a manifestation
- 43:23of the hand of God. Anyone who says, let's see
- 43:28what will become of them, tell the person be careful.
- 43:31I didn't know last year what I know now. Be careful.
- 43:35The one who I depend on is the holder of
- 43:37the key of David. When he opens a door. Opening
- 43:41a door is not a political issue. Opening a door
- 43:44is not an issue of sentiments. Opens a door that
- 43:49no man can shot, and he will shut the door
- 43:53that no man can open. Listen, some of you are
- 43:55business people, and you are trusting God for expansion this year.
- 43:59If you you skill, you will be disappointed. Let me
- 44:03advise you in advance. Go to the holder of the
- 44:06key of David, the one who can open a door.
- 44:11Speaker 3: See.
- 44:12Speaker 1: One of the graces I hope you will receive this
- 44:14morning as we wrap up, is a grace called the
- 44:18hear ye him annointing. There is a grace that gives
- 44:22a man visibility and you believe me on this you
- 44:25can have everything right. And yet the nations will not
- 44:29hear you. He said, this is my beloved son. But
- 44:33that did not mean they will hear him. He said,
- 44:35here this is a legitimate business. But on hill, he says, here,
- 44:42yee him, you will be selling you. See, oh, dear,
- 44:47do you believe what you're hearing? Here? Ye him is
- 44:52what will make the person who needs you to find you?
- 44:55Here ye him is what to what to make the
- 44:58person who has been pray for you to know you
- 45:01are the one he has been praying for. Are we
- 45:04together now? Yes? The hold out of the key of
- 45:10David the man in Sodom and Gomorrah. When they wanted
- 45:15to come and take Lot, the Bible says, Lord told them,
- 45:19don't commit this abomination against these angels. Take my daughters.
- 45:24I can give you my daughters. Do with them as
- 45:26you please, but leave the angels. And the man said, no,
- 45:29is the angels we want. The Bible says, the angels
- 45:32drew Lots inside and shut the door. And the moment
- 45:36he shut the door, he blindfolded the people. And although
- 45:40they were standing in front of a door because he
- 45:43was shot, they wearied themselves in front of the door.
- 45:46The office you are standing before is the correct office.
- 45:50But that door is open, but in the spirit it
- 45:52is shot. So whatever your proposal say, we've had it
- 45:55come back. You can be in a city, but in
- 45:58the spirit you are outside the so nothing within the
- 46:01city profits you. Let me speak to someone in the
- 46:04name of Jesus Christ, by the grace that is upon
- 46:08this house. I stand in partnership with that Christ, and
- 46:12we invot the name of he who is the holder
- 46:15of the key of David. Everye door that has refused
- 46:19to open, May it open now, everye door that has
- 46:24refused to open, May it open now? Please be seated,
- 46:33Please be seated, looking on to Jesus now very quickly,
- 46:44so that we can pray. I want to show you
- 46:47three principal ways to look. How do we look? Now
- 46:52that you know why you should look? Because there are
- 46:54no alternatives. Is God by himself, and besides him, there
- 46:59is no other. You need to learn how to look
- 47:02because looking is a skill. You need to learn how
- 47:05to look. Number one, how do we look? We look
- 47:11when we study and engage the scriptures. We look when
- 47:16we study and engage the scriptures. John five point thirty nine.
- 47:23The first way we look is to study and engage
- 47:26the scripture. It says, such the scripture, for in them
- 47:30you think he have eternal life, it says, and there
- 47:34are they which testify of me. The scripture testifies of
- 47:40a person. So as you interact with the scripture, you
- 47:43are having the record of the testimony of a real person.
- 47:48Look Chapter twenty four, from verse twenty five to twenty seven.
- 47:51Popular Scripture. Look twenty four, twenty five to twenty seven.
- 47:56Then he said, on to them, or fool some law
- 48:00of her to believe all that the prophets have spoken,
- 48:04ought not Christ to have suffered these things. He was
- 48:07speaking with the man at Emmaus and to enter into
- 48:10his glory. He says, I'm beginning at Moses and all
- 48:14the prophets He expounded onto them in all the scriptures.
- 48:20He used scriptures. But the matter was concerning himself. The
- 48:25way we look onto Jesus, the way we fix our
- 48:28case on him, is to fix our case on the world.
- 48:31James one and verse twenty five. James one and verse
- 48:35twenty five. But who'sso looked into the perfect law of liberty?
- 48:43He calls the word of God the perfect law of liberty,
- 48:47and it says you can look at the world and
- 48:50continue it darin, not being a forgetful hera, but a
- 48:55doer of the work. It says such a man shall
- 48:58be blessed in his deeds. So number one, we look
- 49:02on to Jesus as we beholding through consistent study. Let
- 49:07me lend my voice over the matter that persocial labroad here.
- 49:11Before I came up, I sat by just listening to him,
- 49:14and I was nodding my head in total agreement. Listen,
- 49:18let me tell you this. There must be a systemic
- 49:22approach to your study of scripture, otherwise you will never
- 49:26be consistent, no matter how sincere you are. There must
- 49:30be a healthy ritual of consistency. And I believe the
- 49:36devotional that was put together is supposed to help enhance
- 49:40your consistency. And in stead it right, many of our
- 49:44parents did not have the luxury of certain depths of knowledge,
- 49:48but for thirty years they did not miss their devotional ones.
- 49:52And so you will come with all of your revelations,
- 49:54and they will bring one scripture that will deflate that pride,
- 49:57because they still have a rested you. They did not
- 50:00jump into thirty chapters in one day, but one chapter
- 50:04per day, one verse per day. You still remember that
- 50:08over thirty years and they became consistent. I remember growing
- 50:14up they would give us the man the Quiet Time
- 50:18Manual for the year. We had various types. My father
- 50:21would receive anyone. He will go to a bookstore, buy one,
- 50:24buy anyone, and then they would give it to us.
- 50:27And quite honestly, sometimes I wouldn't do the thing for
- 50:31one week, two weeks, then the holy ghosts will convinced
- 50:34me and convict me, and then I would repent and
- 50:38restitute that two weeks. You did it too. Don't lie,
- 50:44don't act like you did it too. We all did
- 50:46it together. True confession? Is that true? So you'll say,
- 50:53you know what, from February fifth till August, I've not
- 51:00done anything. Let me go back and start again. So
- 51:03you read it like you're reading a novel every day,
- 51:05and when you are done, you say, God, you've seen
- 51:07I've finished. So let's continue where we start before you
- 51:11back slide again. But quiet time devotionals and not for
- 51:18baby Christians. They are for serious Christians who desire consistency.
- 51:22Did you hear me? Don't carry that idea? And with
- 51:26all due respect. Don't let the Pentecosta charismatic circle deceive
- 51:29you that when you are using a quiet time manual
- 51:32you are a baby Christian. It's not true. It's not true.
- 51:35It depends on what you are reading. There you can
- 51:38read one chapter that rewrites the next ten years of
- 51:41your life. Therefore, let me lend my voice we passed
- 51:44on to impart grace upon you. Go and buy the
- 51:46truth and sell it not in the name of Jesus,
- 51:49and stay with the world. Keep looking on to Jesus,
- 51:52and remember the Bible says, as we beholding, we are.
- 51:56As we beholding we are, you cannot be changed out
- 52:00of beholding him in the name of Jesus. Number two,
- 52:04how do we look? The second way we look, as
- 52:07revealed in scripture, is to look as we invest time
- 52:13in prayer and worship. You behold Him, You behold the
- 52:18glory of God. As to invest time in prayer, time
- 52:23in worship, as to behold Him in prayer and worship.
- 52:31Seem something happens to you in the place of prayer.
- 52:36It's called encounters, and the assignment of an encounter is
- 52:40to strengthen your conviction over a reality. Any matter you
- 52:45have at hand, that you are not yet convinced about,
- 52:48and you know you should be convinced about, like a scripture,
- 52:51a dimension of the power and the grace of God.
- 52:54Take that scripture to the place of prayer and invest
- 52:57time praying. Something happens to you your spirit man begins
- 53:01to receive that reality diffuses into your spirit. Are we together?
- 53:08Speaker 3: Now?
- 53:11Speaker 1: You know that there's something that women do. It's called marination. Women.
- 53:16Remember that you put you put your meat in whatever
- 53:20it is that you and you The secret is to
- 53:22leave it for how long, sometimes over night. Abe let
- 53:27every man abide in his calling. It's not my calling,
- 53:30and I reject that calling personally, not that I hate it.
- 53:33So I'm comfortable where God has sent me. And we
- 53:36thank God for all the women who cook around the
- 53:39world and the men to who men do it. In fact,
- 53:41they do it better men. I think I'm right. I
- 53:47will preach and leave you with your pastor they will
- 53:50tell you how to debate over that. Praise the name
- 53:52of the Lord. But here's the point. That you mix
- 53:57everything you want to be inside of that protein and
- 54:01then you immerse it in it. Sometimes you wrap it
- 54:05and then you leave it quietly. Do you come after
- 54:08ten minutes and say, oh, this thing has not no
- 54:10no no. You live it there sometimes overnight. The power
- 54:15of that investment is in the taste of that food.
- 54:17When you are ready to eat it. You know that
- 54:20whoever did this one no, God was with that person.
- 54:24Praise the Lord. There are times you can be taking
- 54:30some roast or whatever it is, and you know that
- 54:32the person who he didn't do justice. He was too impatient.
- 54:36He did allow the thing. Let me use Nigerian language,
- 54:39it didn't go in. The thing did not talk to me.
- 54:42Somebody give me Aha. You understand what I'm saying. Nigerians
- 54:47can understand. But you marry Nate. Now watch this. This
- 54:52is what happens in the place of prayer. You stay
- 54:56in his presence until you begin to behold. God is
- 55:01able to build this God is able to build the
- 55:05house in Listen. When you stay there by fate rises
- 55:10from that place. You will leave the place knowing that
- 55:13this mountain is only an imaginary mountain, because in that
- 55:18secret place the mountain will so deflate. God will be
- 55:22magnified in your life. Are we together now?
- 55:27Speaker 3: Yes?
- 55:29Speaker 1: So you stay. Someone obtained grace to stay. Wake up
- 55:34in the morning and you stay there. You are just
- 55:37praying and worshiping. Yes, three am ah ah, and you
- 55:51allow the Holy Spirit to use the power of your
- 55:55imagination and travel with you in worship. You are saying things,
- 55:59spend in pictures of what based possibility is through your mind.
- 56:05Whilst you are there worshiping, you know what is happening.
- 56:07You are seeing your company expanding. What is Europe that
- 56:11my company will not be there? What is America that
- 56:13my company will not be there? The earth is the
- 56:16Lord's This is happening to you in the place of
- 56:18prayer and worship. Yes, And whilst you are worshiping, the
- 56:31story of Joseph is coming to your heart, the one
- 56:35who was once in a well but is now seated
- 56:38on the throne. And in that place of worship, the
- 56:41Holy Spirit is telling you I can make your life
- 56:43like that. And there is a spirit interaction. I'm sharing
- 56:47with you what I do, not just what I'm teaching
- 56:53Yours is the king. Eos is the power. It's a
- 57:01glow re forever man. Eos He is a king. Ers
- 57:11He is a powus. It's a glow re forever man.
- 57:19Eos He is a king. Ears is a path Your shoes.
- 57:37Ah ah, How shall these things be? How shall this
- 57:48mountain move? How shall this challenges go away? How will
- 57:52I be able to pay this bill? How will I
- 57:55be able to Don't worry you, get into the secret
- 57:58place and look onto Jesus. Away from the reports, shut
- 58:02down your television, shut down all the lights and distractions
- 58:06from social media, and stay with you. Someone, take a minute,
- 58:13just a minute. Let's let's just experiment this. Just a minute.
- 58:16Meditate on the faithfulness of God. Go ahead, gentlemen, just you,
- 58:20just that's right. Just meditate on the faithfulness of God.
- 58:27Speaker 3: God. You are able.
- 58:29Speaker 1: Twenty twenty five cannot be like twenty twenty four. We're
- 58:32talking about the mighty terrible one. Take a minute, turn
- 58:35it into prayer. Say possibilities in the spirit. There is
- 58:39something called the eyes of your understanding, the eyes of
- 58:43your understanding. Hey, Marata Caparatos. Now on to the King Ethel,
- 58:54the King immortal, the King invisible, to the only wise God,
- 59:01to the only wise God, the giver of children, the
- 59:05giver of joy, the one who can turn a man's
- 59:09morning to dancing, the one who can turn a man's
- 59:13sorrow to joy, the one who takes the power from
- 59:17the lonely place and sets him among princes. This is
- 59:23what happens. You are looking on to Jesus, Lord, I
- 59:30know you are able. You are able now onto him
- 59:33who is able to do, exceeding abundantly far above all
- 59:39that we ask or think. And it is according to
- 59:43the power. Now, Thanks be to God, which causes us
- 59:47always to tryumph, Thanks be to God, which causes household
- 59:52of David always to tryoph, Thanks be to God, which
- 59:57causes Joshua Selman always to Ryoh, many a day that
- 1:00:06rise up against me, many a day that say where
- 1:00:09is your help? But oh Lord, you are a shield
- 1:00:14for me. You are my glory and the lift rop
- 1:00:18of my head, that when my enemies came to eat
- 1:00:21up my flesh, they stumbled and they fell. Yours is
- 1:00:29a king. Eos is a Powerus is a globy forever
- 1:00:42hers is a king.
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: Eos is a.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: Powerus, ladies and gentlemen, imagine for just one hour in
- 1:01:04this kind of atmosphere. It's called the atmosphere of his presence.
- 1:01:09It's called the atmosphere of faith. Take your concerns to
- 1:01:15that secret place and stop listening to all the voices,
- 1:01:20because you see the Bible says there is as it
- 1:01:22where many voices, and it says none of them is
- 1:01:25without signification. You've heard the voice of doubt and fear,
- 1:01:29the voice that tells you the economic situation in Nigeria.
- 1:01:33Get ready to suffer this year. Get ready for things
- 1:01:37to go down this year. But whilst you are soaking
- 1:01:40in the glory, whilst you are soaking in the glory,
- 1:01:44whilst you are beholding him, you see that now you're
- 1:01:48in the secret place, exalted high above the worship of
- 1:01:53the people, love the earth. I see the Lord. You
- 1:01:58are still in the place of worship. I see the Lord.
- 1:02:03For my I've seen the King. He's a lamb upon
- 1:02:09the throne who reigns. Fore See, while you are in
- 1:02:19that place, the Holy Spirit is casting for you the
- 1:02:23picture of Jesus standing on the sea and telling Peter. Come.
- 1:02:28He's telling you, come leave your comfort zone and take
- 1:02:31the risk. Come. You are seeing Jesus in prayer. Come
- 1:02:35take the risk. Go and buy. You have only one
- 1:02:38hundred thousands, Go and buy, even if it's two backs
- 1:02:41of sement. Start. Come take the risk. Now. It is
- 1:02:46not a canal drive, because it came from the secret.
- 1:02:51He has planted the spirit of faith. It will look
- 1:02:54like you will fail, but you will not fail because
- 1:02:57you see that came from the place of prayer. An
- 1:03:00attack on your prayer and your worship life is an
- 1:03:03attack on your rising. With someone hearing what I'm saying,
- 1:03:12business man, shut down on work for one day and
- 1:03:17stop going round and round. Just drop your file, drop
- 1:03:21everything on the ground, and spend time. If you cannot sing,
- 1:03:26get all kinds of worship compilations and spend the time there.
- 1:03:31You are rolling from left to right. Father, you call me.
- 1:03:35There is no proof yet to this call. This business
- 1:03:38you gave me. It's not just for money. You told
- 1:03:40me I will fund the gospel. But as it is now,
- 1:03:43I'm begging for rent. What is wrong? Even if you
- 1:03:46are wrong, it's in the secret place you know. Are
- 1:03:51we together? So you stay there, Stay there. I'm not
- 1:03:57wasting your time. I'm teaching you something. I'm in meeting
- 1:04:00you into a culture of maximizing prayer and worship, making
- 1:04:06way for His Majesty to step into your place and
- 1:04:10hold your hands and say, my son, I have come
- 1:04:13to show you my glory. Let's go, And that begins
- 1:04:16a new chapter in your life. Turns you into a
- 1:04:19sign and wonder. Take it high for me. Open the
- 1:04:26eyes of my heart, load listen, open the eyes.
- 1:04:32Speaker 5: Of my heart.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: I want to see you.
- 1:04:39Speaker 5: I want to see you.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: Will you open the eyes some my heart, Lord, open
- 1:04:50the eyes.
- 1:04:51Speaker 5: Of my heart. I want to see you. I want
- 1:04:59to see you that I'll see you high and leave Terra.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: You are shining in the light of your gloth. Pour
- 1:05:14out your power and love. Sweezing, Holy, Holy, Holy, I'll
- 1:05:23see you high and leave Terra. You are shining in
- 1:05:30the light of your glove, sweezing, hobly, Allelujah. The secret
- 1:05:44of freshness in this kingdom is the mystery of His presence.
- 1:05:51When the rod of Eron, although it did not have roots,
- 1:05:55but when they kept it before the act, it began
- 1:05:58to bod Freshness is only found in His presence. You
- 1:06:03can be intelligent, but if you are not one who stays,
- 1:06:10people will appreciate your intelligence, but there will not be
- 1:06:14a spirit component to your speaking. If you're a man
- 1:06:17of God, I'm teaching you a mystery, have revelation, but stay.
- 1:06:22There is a ganishing of His presence. When you are
- 1:06:25smared with that glory, then you come out and from
- 1:06:30it will be freshness. How many of you know the
- 1:06:34bread that has stayed for seven days is still bread.
- 1:06:39But you cannot serve anybody you really honor with that bread?
- 1:06:41Am I right on?
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: That?
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: We have restaurants, many of you here every time I
- 1:06:47come here graciously. Among the many things that they package
- 1:06:50for me are juicies, lovely juices. Love them very much,
- 1:06:53and most I love them because it's freshness. Are we together?
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: Now?
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: If I tell you I have arranged juice that was
- 1:07:01this in September, even if it's in the fridge, will
- 1:07:04you take it? Why? It is juice, but it lacks
- 1:07:09one thing freshness? Man of God, that salmonon is correct,
- 1:07:13but it lacks one thing freshness. Business Man, your ideas
- 1:07:18are correct, but they lack one thing freshness. Your communication
- 1:07:23is correct in terms of your auditory. You are articulate,
- 1:07:26you are putting your points together, but it's not blessing
- 1:07:30people because it lacks one thing freshness. Someone pray and say, Lord,
- 1:07:34freshness upon my life, freshness upon my business. Freshness. That
- 1:07:43is the factor that makes a thing to not be stale.
- 1:07:46It is the factor that makes a thing to not
- 1:07:49go out of relevance. Freshness, not necessarily newness, freshness Allelujah.
- 1:08:00Find our point, and then we pray. So how we look?
- 1:08:03Number one we look as we study scripture. Number two
- 1:08:08we look as we invest time in prayer and worship.
- 1:08:12Are you ready for number three? The third way we
- 1:08:15look onto Jesus is by looking at worthy human models.
- 1:08:22We look onto Jesus by looking at men and women
- 1:08:26who have looked on to him and are looking on
- 1:08:29to him. Are we together now? We look at worthy
- 1:08:33human models. We look onto Jesus as we follow and
- 1:08:39model after those who are following after him. First Corinthian,
- 1:08:43Chapter eleven and verse one. Here's what Paul says to
- 1:08:47the church in corinth Let's read together, one to go,
- 1:08:51be ye followers of me, even as I also am
- 1:08:56a follower of Christ. Be Ye follow us so as
- 1:09:01to follow your pastor as to follow the woman of God,
- 1:09:07as to follow the leader's place. Before you hear you
- 1:09:10are following Christ because they are following Christ. When you
- 1:09:14follow a man who is following Christ, you are also
- 1:09:17sure of your arrival. Are we together now? Yes, we
- 1:09:22look on to Jesus by looking on to men who
- 1:09:26are looking on too Jesus. Not everyone had the opportunity
- 1:09:33to see the face of God like Moses did. It
- 1:09:36was only Moses that went up the mountain, and over
- 1:09:40a period of ninety days he had an interaction with
- 1:09:42the glory of God. He saw the face of God,
- 1:09:46and he did not even know that his face was
- 1:09:49carrying that glory. But when Moses came down, all that
- 1:09:53the people needed to see was to look at the
- 1:09:56man who had seen the face of God. There are
- 1:10:00times that you look onto God by looking at human models,
- 1:10:05learning from human models Jeremiah three fifteen. And I will
- 1:10:10give you past us or shepherds. According to my heart,
- 1:10:15they are people who have met me. There are people
- 1:10:17who know me. There are people who can lead the
- 1:10:20way in guiding your pursuit of me. It is one
- 1:10:24of the reasons why we come to church. We come
- 1:10:27to church to look onto Jesus. But as you are
- 1:10:30hearing me preach, you are looking onto Jesus because you
- 1:10:33are looking onto one who is looking onto Jesus. Are
- 1:10:36we together? So when you look onto men, it's not
- 1:10:39human worship. No, you are looking onto them because you
- 1:10:43trust the fact that they are looking on too Jesus.
- 1:10:51Final Scripture, Second Timothy, Chapter three from verse ten and
- 1:10:56eleven Second Timothy, Chapter three, but now has fully known
- 1:11:04my doctrine. Poorly speaking, he's opening up himself and saying,
- 1:11:08look at this, I am making myself open so that
- 1:11:11you can see that I've stood before you as one
- 1:11:15who has followed Christ and is worthy of emulation. You
- 1:11:19have known fully my doctrine, my manner of life, my purpose,
- 1:11:26my faith, my lung sufferings, my love, my patience verse eleven,
- 1:11:34my persecutions, my afflictions which came on to me as
- 1:11:39antioch econium lisra. What persecutions are endeoed? You know what
- 1:11:45he's saying. He's saying, you can follow me safely. There's
- 1:11:50nothing about my life that is hidden. You've seen my doctrine,
- 1:11:54you've seen my manner of life. You've seen me go
- 1:11:57through challenges, and you've seen me trust God to come
- 1:12:00out of it. So if I tell you God can deliver,
- 1:12:03you can follow the formula I give you because you've
- 1:12:05seen me go through it, the Bible says, and to
- 1:12:08comfort others with the same comfort that you have received.
- 1:12:14Let me tell you this, one of the ways God
- 1:12:17makes you a leader is to allow you pass through
- 1:12:20the things you'll be delivering orders from One of the
- 1:12:24ways leaders are built is to taste of the pain
- 1:12:27that will be taken out of others. That is how
- 1:12:30compassion is planted in you. If God wants you to
- 1:12:33lead nations out of poverty, it doesn't mean you will
- 1:12:36subject you through poverty, but you will use every occasion
- 1:12:40possible to make you know what it means to be
- 1:12:44in lack, so that from the standpoint of that compassion
- 1:12:48you can minister to others. I can tell you this
- 1:12:51as a wrap up one of the you know, sometimes
- 1:12:57people look and say, Apostle, you are humble, you are loving?
- 1:13:00Was not born that will. It's a product of the
- 1:13:03fondness of affliction. Are we together?
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: Now?
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: There is a way you pass through certain things, you
- 1:13:09start interceding for others, because when you go through certain things,
- 1:13:13you imagine will anybody be able to go through this
- 1:13:16and survive it? And it plans compassion in you. That's
- 1:13:21the reason why Jesus, the Bible says he was touched
- 1:13:24with the feelings of our infirmity as God, as mighty
- 1:13:28as he is, he could not really claim that he
- 1:13:32understood experientially everything man was going through because he was God.
- 1:13:37He had never been a man, even though he created
- 1:13:39man away together. But when Jesus became a man, you
- 1:13:44see why he still makes intercession, because he knows what
- 1:13:48you are going through. He's seated in heaven, and while
- 1:13:51the angels are saying should we at, he said no,
- 1:13:53I know what it means to be sincere and yet
- 1:13:56not be received. I have been touched with the fear
- 1:14:00of that infirmity. I know what it means to be
- 1:14:03called Beelzebob. Whereas you are Savior, I know what it
- 1:14:06means to be a blessing. Are We're together to be
- 1:14:09the one lifted in a family to wipe their tears.
- 1:14:12Yet they are big manipulated to persecute your savior, because
- 1:14:16historically men always persecute. Your saviors are well learning. So
- 1:14:24look on to Jesus. Look on to him. We're going
- 1:14:30to pray. Please take it high for me. Look and leave,
- 1:14:40my brother, leave, look to Jesus Christ, and lee. I've
- 1:14:49got the message from the Lord Ali Louah message onto you.
- 1:14:57Speaker 3: I bring.
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: This recorded in his word Aeluah. This only that you look. Early.
- 1:15:10One time the nation of Israel had a situation. There
- 1:15:14were fiery serpents that came out, and these serpents were
- 1:15:18biting them to death. And Moses was concerned, and the
- 1:15:23Lord gave him an instruction. He said, there is a
- 1:15:25way out of this situation. He said, prepare a braisen
- 1:15:30serpent and lift it up in an elevated position, hanged there,
- 1:15:35and instruct the people that they have an opportunity to
- 1:15:39look at any two of the serpents, the one that
- 1:15:42looks real, that is around you, close to you, like
- 1:15:49your problem, like your pain, like your disappointments, like your frustrations,
- 1:15:55or you look at the praisen serpent representing the crucified Christ.
- 1:16:00In any case, you will look at one. You can
- 1:16:03choose to look at that serpent of paid disappointment, shame, joblessness, barrenness, curses, yokes,
- 1:16:11or you can fix your gaze at Jesus. Doesn't it
- 1:16:14sound funny that whilst you are looking at Jesus, those
- 1:16:17other serpents are still there, and it says you have
- 1:16:20to look away from them. As soon as Peter took
- 1:16:25his gaze away from Jesus and began to consider the storms,
- 1:16:29he began to sing, here's my final message. Look and Lee,
- 1:16:37my brother, Lee, Look to Jesus Christ henlee Tis recorded
- 1:16:47in his word Ali Louah tastes only that you look.
- 1:17:00I want you to bow your heads as we pray.
- 1:17:04From the start of this conference, you have heard words
- 1:17:06that have come from speaker after speaker. You have heard
- 1:17:12words that have come in worship, in prayer, and through
- 1:17:19the ministry of the world, communicating various dimensions as touching
- 1:17:25this theme. Now, the responsibility is on you to waste
- 1:17:30whatever you have heard or to maximize it, and that
- 1:17:34your fruit will appear thirtyfold, sixtyfold, and one hundred fold.
- 1:17:39But let's say you forgot everything you heard in this conference,
- 1:17:43everything for some reason, or perhaps it was your first
- 1:17:48day attending. You have an opportunity to revisit it through
- 1:17:52the media. But for now, if this is the only
- 1:17:58thing you heard coming here, that they looked onto him
- 1:18:02and their faces were lightened. That when men look at
- 1:18:05Jesus as setting their focus on him, as depending on him,
- 1:18:11there is always a way out. Praying one minute, turn
- 1:18:15everything you've heard to prayer. Go ahead and pray dependable,
- 1:18:25dependable God. It doesn't matter what comes my way. While
- 1:18:32still God, are you praying intentional? Intentional? God? This I
- 1:18:43know that everything is working out for Michael. Ah dependable, dependable,
- 1:18:54gud Are you still praying? It doesn't matter what comes
- 1:18:59my way? You want still go intentional, intentional. Everything is
- 1:19:14working at for I was singing one more time. I
- 1:19:17wanted to sink into your spirit. Depend level, depend It
- 1:19:25doesn't matter what comes my way, you want still go intentional, intentional.
- 1:19:40Speaker 3: Everything is working for Mike. And you are good. You
- 1:19:49are good.
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: Jeezus, you are good. You you are good, you are good.
- 1:20:06Speaker 3: Gee's a.
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: Ah, she's as.
- 1:20:12Speaker 6: You are so good to me, gen a oh, you
- 1:20:26are so good to me. He all circumsens.
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: This rise on your feet. Let's hold hands. If your
- 1:20:42hand can reach a neighbor by your left hand, right
- 1:20:44hold hands has one big family, the whole family in
- 1:20:48heaven and on Earth, named after Jesus, old hands. This
- 1:20:59brings an end to the conference or not an end
- 1:21:03to your experience, not an end to your testimony, not
- 1:21:07an end to the marvels that you will see this year,
- 1:21:11such as strategic where you are being repositioned by quality
- 1:21:16priesthood for a great year, a year that speaks as
- 1:21:21God has prophesied. I want you to pray one prayer
- 1:21:25and I'm releasing my faith with you. My time is up.
- 1:21:28What one thing are you trusting that the Lord will
- 1:21:32do for you this year? While agree with your neighbor,
- 1:21:35I like you to open your mouth and pray. The
- 1:21:37Bible says, be anxious for nothing, but in everything by
- 1:21:41prayer and supplication with thanksgiving. Go ahead. You're holding your neighbor.
- 1:21:46If you have no request, you can intercede for the
- 1:21:48person by your left and right. Go ahead and pray
- 1:21:51one minute, one family, we're praying. You're holding the hands
- 1:21:54of someone. Lord. Step in, step in, step in, do
- 1:21:57something miraculous. Step in over my finances. Don't be ashamed
- 1:22:02of praying it over my health. Let this be the
- 1:22:06year that I see your faithfulness in that area. Over
- 1:22:09your business, you're trusting God for a job, trusting God
- 1:22:13for some open door. You're trusting God for establishment that
- 1:22:17after you have suffered for a while, that the God
- 1:22:20of all grace establish you, said to you and give
- 1:22:24you rest. For someone. You may be praying for peace,
- 1:22:27that the God of Peace himself will grant you peace.
- 1:22:30The Lord of Peace himself will give you peace always
- 1:22:34and by all means. Take a minute to pray. Schali
- 1:22:39namarantoskia tabadai. A business man is praying, a death sprays
