- Amanda: What is up guys? Welcome back to another episode of Let's Talk Football Married Edition. It is Monday, October nineteenth. I'm Amanda and I'm here with my husband and co-host Drew. Drew: What's up everybody? Hope everybody had a great weekend cheering on the now four and two Cleveland Browns. Let's go, Brownies. Amanda: mm, yeah, four and two Pittsburgh Steelers as well, right? Get put some put some respect in their name, damn it. Drew: They are. Yeah. At least the Pittsburgh game was semi fun to watch. Like it wasn't great football, but it wasn't awful. Amanda: I mean overtime, a little unknown at the end. Drew: Yeah, I was fine. The the Browns Ravens game was just absolutely just atrocious to watch. Amanda: What was their did you know what their total yards on offense ended up being? Drew: No, not off the top of my head. I can look it up real quick. I mean, it was the game was awful. Amanda: It was bad. What was it like you looked at halftime or something? It was like thirty four yards of offense or something. It was something just like absolutely Drew: Ye yeah. Amanda: outstanding. Drew: Deshaun I don't have the full team, but Deshaun had a hundred and sixty four yards passing, twenty nine rushing. They had Amanda: Okay. So I mean, it got better, but Drew: sixty I mean, they probably had two hundred and s probably two hundred and fifty yards of off I mean, it wasn't a good game. It was just ugly. Amanda: No, no. There for a while. It was just like both the Steelers and the Browns game we were like, This is awkward Drew: Yeah, about halfway through the game and it was just like neither team neither of our teams had scored and it was just ugly, ugly Amanda: Yeah. Drew: football. Luckily we played Snoop Huntley instead of Lamar and you guys got the Buccaneer. Well, Jalen Daniels played pretty well. I he's impressed me since Amanda: Jelon Daniels. Yeah, I was I was proud. Drew: that first week. that Buccaneers team is just not a very good team. So Amanda: Yeah. Drew: but anyway, it was a very honestly it was a lackluster weekend of football. There was not a lot of great games. low Amanda: Now du Drew: relatively low scoring, as far as like, you know, the big name players. There's a lot of big name players that were low. A lot of fantasy scoring was lower this week 'cause obviously you're, you know, gonna start big name players. And when you've got I mean, when we get to the disappointments list this week, like Puka and I mean it's just Bijan was on it's such a who's who of of names on the disappointments. And then you've got like some random names on the, you know, the top performers of the week. So Amanda: Mm. Drew: Just a weird day of football, but do want to shout out, for anybody that didn't know, Amanda ran her first marathon on the Sunday. So she did complete it in under four hours, Amanda: Dead. Drew: which was her goal. So congratulations and we're very proud of you. That was an awesome day, awesome experience. Amanda: Yeah, I'm I'm filming this one from a it hurts to stand up position. So it's all good. I decided, you know, the best thing to do before week six of fantasy football would be twenty six point two miles. Why not, right? Drew: Yeah, she is she's hurting, you can tell. Just getting Amanda: Ooh. Drew: up and down. Just well, as soon as we're done recording this, she's it might I might have to go lift her up out of the chair Amanda: It'll take me a minute to stand up. Drew: just so she can get standing up. But no, it was awesome. That was a was crazy accomplishment and that's just that's a lot of running. I can't believe you did that. Amanda: holy shit. The whole the whole time after I passed that 13.1, I was like, I have to do that whole thing. I gotta run it back. I gotta do a whole thing again. It was Drew: Again. Yeah. Amanda: mentally challenging. Let's put it that way. Proud of myself, mentally challenging. All right. Well, today we're gonna go over a few things. So number one, we're gonna talk keep, cut, trade. that's gonna be one of our segments. We're gonna do top performers and disappointments like we always do. We're gonna go over all of the big injury news, get you prepped for your waivers, but. First, we're gonna start with some situations we need to talk about in our trust issues segment. So let's just dive head first into the elephant in the room. Cam Scott. my Drew: Well, it's the entire Giants running back room, but it starts with Cam Scattaboo and boy did they just they they benched his ass. They benched him completely. Amanda: They apparently they just looked at that young b young man and said, You aren't good enough and you will sit here and think about your actions. Drew: Yeah, I I first of all, it's dumb. Yeah, Amanda: Stupid. Can we just say it? Stupid. It's dumb. Drew: it's dumb. Now I a a guy fumbles, you gotta take him off the field 'cause he's hurting your team and I get that. Amanda: Have we met James Cook? How many times have James Cook fumbled the football? He still gets put in that game. Drew: Yeah, Scattaboo fumbled like four or five weeks. So, like, it's a little different. Like, part of it Amanda: Ramondre? Drew: is part of it is you fumble the football. We can't put you out in the field. The other side is like nobody else is doing anything for their team. He's a second year player that, like, was supposed to be a part of your future, who had a great part of last year before he got Amanda: Rookie year Yes. Drew: hurt. But he's not Harbaugh's guy. And then the weird part was, like, he was clearly benched because of that. He was told he was benched because of that. And the reporters after the game were asking John Harbaugh Which this is why the Harbaughs just fucking stupid, weird people. Amanda: Annoying. Drew: Like, they asked, like, was you know, was that it? Was that the punishment for fumbling the football? And he's like, No. He was like offended by the question, saying how, you know, it had nothing to do with that. And we've got four guys that like we would love to have one guy, but like none of the four guys are doing anything to take the spot. And like, dude, just shut the fuck up. You benched him because he fumbled the football. He's the best Amanda: Kim was fine. Yes, yes. Drew: running back you have on your team, and you're Just you're just falling apart 'cause you don't have a quarterback and now you've got to deal with New York media instead of Baltimore. So now you're just gonna be a just annoying. I just Amanda: I also think he's not used to like the fans of New York of like if they keep losing and he keeps choosing to hold Cam Scattaboo on the bench, fans will riot. They will yell, they will be mean. Drew: Yeah. Amanda: Like he he's obviously the best option and instead of benching him, foster the the relationship, build him up. Drew: Look look, you have two options, and I'm okay with honestly I'm okay with either one from a coaching perspective. You play Scatterboo or you play Tyrone Tracy. That's it. Don't Amanda: Yeah. Peck. Drew: t Najee Harris should not be on an NFL football field. He is not good anymore. I don't think he was great in his heyday. He was just a guy that you could give the ball to twenty five times because he was big, but like he didn't ever have a lot of juice. Four carries for two yards. Get him off the field. He has not been productive at all. Any single moment you've given him the football since you brought him onto the team. But he was with your brother, so he better just those two I just can't stand them. And then you've got Devin Singletary. Devin Sing Singletary is not the answer. Giving Devin Singletary 40% of the snap share Amanda: Wild. Drew: for four carries for 14 yards, one catch for 19 yards. cool. He had one good catch. But like that's not the guy. He doesn't have the juice. If you want to give the ball to Tyrone Tracy, who has been productive in his career, unfortunately also dealt with fumbling issues. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: Six for eighteen and one, two for twenty seven and one. Like give it to him or give it to Scataboo. But as far as fantasy is concerned, I'm I'm done. I I don't I I don't want any part of this backfield at Amanda: No. Drew: all. If you had to tie yourself or guess who was gonna end up being the most valuable piece rest of season, who do you think it is? Amanda: I don't wanna answer that. I plead the fifth. Drew: Who do you think it is? Amanda: I plead the fucking fifth. I I think it's gonna be Tyron Tracy. I want it to be Cam Scattaboo. Drew: Yeah, I want it to be Cam Scadaboo as well, but I also like I I could see it be Tyrone Tracy. Like he's had juice in the past. He's a decent running back. Amanda: Yeah. You know what? No. Put some juju on it. Maybe he'll fumble. I just think like Harbaugh is looking for a guy like Cam is nutty. He's nuts. And I just don't think he likes the guy's personality. Don't love doesn't love how he acts. And I'm like, okay, he's productive. He's wild. Let him go be wild. Let him put Drew: Yeah. Amanda: that like he's got that like animal in him. Like let him go be that guy. Instead, Drew: Yeah. Amanda: like, I'm gonna try to make him, you know. Button up a little bit. We don't need a buttoned up running back. Let him go be nutto. Drew: I don't know. I short you know l long making the long short or whatever the phrase is. I it's a long day. I Amanda: What the fuck are you saying? Drew: don't know. To put a point on it or to put a bow on the conversation, I would say Amanda: There we go. Good good tie bowing Drew: I'm not trying to play anybody. I I definitely am not gonna pick up Najee or Devin Singletary. It's it's Tracy here at Scataboo, and frankly I'm probably not going to start either one next game because Amanda: Until something Drew: 'Cause I just Amanda: changes, yeah. Drew: need to see what happens. Like next game it could go Scattergaboo could get forty percent of the work and get fifteen touches next game. Or he could get four and they could play all four running backs again. So I I'm just out until further notice. next guy I want to bring up is Kyle Pitts. Amanda: Petty pets. Drew: Five receptions, sixty yards, two touchdowns. Are we back to guaranteed weekly start? Amanda: You know what? I said it last week. I I hate I hate betting on a guy that I hate, right? Like I don't like him. I don't want him in my lineup because I think he's so hot and cold. But if you look at their rest of season schedule, he's got one of the easiest schedules against a tight end position. They have to start using him more frequently and i think you can start to trust him. And it's scary to say it. Mm-hmm. Drew: I mean, week one, he goose egged you, but Michael Penix got hurt that game. Then you had Amanda: Yes. No, Michael Pennox. Michael Pennox? No, Michael Pennox didn't play. Game one. Drew: Correct. It was a Cooper Cooper Amanda: Yes. Drew: Rush game. And then Cooper Rush game week two versus Carolina. And then Green Bay happened. So Michael Panics came back. You know, Pitts did nothing. Yeah, what one catch on two targets, and then New Orleans. He had three targets, three catches forty seven, starting to warm up. And then last week, five for forty-two and one. This week five for sixty and two. Obviously the touchdown. Amanda: And seventy four percent of the snap share, so like Drew: Yeah, obviously the touchdowns are huge over the last couple of weeks and you can't expect that every week, but I mean, his floor has been s take the touchdowns out and he's been over seven points the last three weeks. And for a tight end, if they don't score a touchdown to get seven plus points, that's a weekly start. I think I'm in. Amanda: Yeah. So tell me pits or craft rest of season? Drew: rest of season? Amanda: Ha ha. Drew: I'd have to look up their schedule. Amanda: have a little heartburn. Drew: let's see, Detroit, Carolina, New Year's. Amanda: I could say Falcons have San Francisco, Tampa Bay, Cincinnati, Kansas City. Drew: Buffalo, Miami yeah, Buffalo, Miami, Chicago, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen's pretty nice for Tucker Kraft. Pitts got Cincinnati coming up. Amanda: It's Washington, Tampa Bay, New Orleans, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen for pity. Drew: Yeah. I am gonna say I'm gonna say that Pitts has more points by the end of the season. I think Tucker Kraft is the better option. Amanda: Okay. Drew: That sounds counterintuitive, but I think Pittses are gonna come in boom bust games, and I think Kraft will just steady Yeah, Amanda: Like a Jameson Williams style scoring. Drew: I think he'll s yeah, and I think Kraft will steady eddy you there. I mean sixteen, eleven and eight. Points the last three weeks is not going to kill your fantasy team. He's not losing you weeks. He's just not winning you weeks. Kyle Pitts can win you a week, but he absolutely can lose you a week. He he can goose egg you, and unless Kraft get Amanda: No. No. It's just disappointing. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Can lose you a week. At any moment. Drew: yeah, and unless Kraft gets hurt, he's not gonna goose you. At least I'd be very shocked if that happened. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: So it depends on how your team is set up, but if you need a steady tight end, it's craft. If you need a boomer bust play, it's Kyle Pitts. Amanda: All right, well, let's move on to another janky running back room, the Seattle Seahawks. Drew: Mm-hmm. Amanda: Like, first of all, the absolute insanity, Emmanuel Wilson's been the most effective back from what we've been able to see. He's been productive. He's not being used primarily. Not only that, Halani had more snapshare, and Vailis Jones apparently needed to get worked into the offense as well because one, two running backs isn't enough. Now we need three with sharps on the horizon to come back in. W what is even happening? Engineering Price, what what is even happening? Drew: the Seahawks are ridiculous and stupid when it comes to their running back. I I I Amanda: Suck. Drew: can't stand This is just goes back to like, look at what what K nine is doing in Kansas Amanda: Yeah. Drew: City and this is why I was so high on Kenneth Walker going to Kansas City and that has turned out to be a perfect call. I Amanda: Very good. Yeah. Drew: it's use the guys that are good and don't worry about saving them and like you're you're they're They're so far trying to like save guys' legs and use multiple people that it has turned into a detriment and they're losing Amanda: Yes. Drew: games because they're y like I I don't understand I'm trying to bring up George Helani here. So George Helani has had above three point five yards of carry one game this season, and that was Amanda: Mm. Drew: week one at three point six. Emmanuel Wilson has been over three point five in half of the games this year. including a four point three and a three point eight and a three point seven. So Amanda: Mm. Drew: basically every get week one he basically didn't play and had a bad game against Washington. Four of the five games he's played has been much more productive on the ground than George Helani. And yet George Helani is still seeing on average five touches a game in the backfield just from running the football. And then he's getting five, four and one target over the last three weeks. I just It must be past protection or something. I don't understand it. Amanda: Yeah, there must be something we're not seeing, but then also you're thinking of yeah, it No. Drew: He has no juice. Halani has no juice whatsoever. Amanda: And like we're looking at sa the fall apart of Sam Darnold. And you're like, Okay, so Sam can't be pressured at all and have an accurate pass. So he's not even reliable right now. And then you're not even going to your guys who are getting it done for you on the ground. You're spreading the ball around. Of course you're taking L's. Like, what are we doing? Drew: Yeah. My my my prediction is Sharps comes in and he is their lead guy, but Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: he basically just takes Emmanuel Wilson's work. Emmanuel Wilson will get twenty percent of the were of the snap share. Sharps will get fifty percent and then Helani will still get thirty, five percent, and Helani will still continue to be the third down back. Amanda: Sniper. Drew: yeah, he'll still continue to get work and and Wilson's share will go basically be eaten up by Sharps. And then when Price comes back, I have no idea what they're gonna do because they're not gonna bench Helani. Yeah, I Amanda: You get a touch, and you get a touch, and you get a touch. Drew: I I don't so Wilson is done once Sharps comes back, in Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: my opinion. I don't obviously want Helani no matter what. Vailus Jones is he's a receiver that they converted to running back. I think he's just getting some work because they needed another option because they can't possibly only have two guys be on the field. They need a third. Amanda: They're too scared. Just in case. Safety. Drew: Yeah, so in my opinion it'll be Sharbs pr by the end of the year, assuming health, it'll be Sharps Price and probably Alani. Amanda: Yeah, yeah. All right. it's just a roulette board of hell right now. Drew: All right, one more name here in the trust issue section. Jeremy Bernard. What a week Amanda: Jeremy Drew: what a week from your boy. is this Amanda: He did great. Drew: is this just permanent now? Amanda: I I do believe that he is going to be an an a very active part of that offense now. Obviously, like he got the opportunity with injuries. he's new, he's a rookie, he wasn't gonna see that much time. He got kind of forced into, now you're going to have to because we're dealing with we're riddled with injuries. And he's steady eddy consistent. He catches the ball, he does what he's supposed to. If there's one thing we know about Aaron Rodgers, he loves it. When you are doing what he needs you to do. And Jeremy's doing just that. So I mean the the staff talks very highly of him and like his accuracy and who he is as a player. They're in on him. That usually means that yes, I do think this is going to be a continued consistent role for him. Drew: Yeah, he's not making mistakes. ninety-two and ninety-four percent snapshare the last two weeks, nine targets, twelve targets. Aaron is looking for him. he looks a lot like Randall Cobb back in the day for the Packers, that slot receiver that basically is Aaron's safety net. and at this point in Aaron's career, most of his throws are safety net throws. They're shorter Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: line of scrimmage. Their offensive line is not protecting Aaron very well, so they're Amanda: my god, that poor man, elder abuse. Drew: Trying to get rid of yeah, they're trying to get rid of the ball quicker because Aaron can't make it through the year if he keeps getting hit the way he is. Amanda: No, no, no. Drew: so I I absolutely think this is here to stay. The only thing that gives me a little bit of pause, but honestly doesn't give me that much, is Michael Pittman's on IR. When he comes back, if he's healthy, they paid him a lot. Like they traded and paid him a good amount of money. Amanda: Yeah, but if they're in contention to go far, I think they say, Screw the pooch on how much we paid this man, we need to win and we're not winning with Michael Pittman. I guess. Drew: Yeah. Money talks. Pittman also it just depends on what it just I think it just depends Amanda: Yeah, but you know who talks louder? Aaron Rodgers. And I don't think Aaron Rodgers wants to throw the ball to Michael Pittman. Drew: on like three wide receiver sets, it'll be DK Pittman and Bernard. I would Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: be interested in two wide receiver sets. Is it Metcalf Amanda: I agree. Drew: and Bernard or is it Metcalf and Pittman? That's the biggest thing to me when Pittman comes back. But he's not gonna be back Amanda: What was Pittman's injury? Foot? Like, is he gonna be back soon or but okay, I thought so. Drew: it is foot. placed on IR. That was nine days ago. So he missed Tampa, Amanda: Week six. Drew: New Orleans, Cleveland, and then he's got a bye week. So he will not be back until at least week ten. And that's Amanda: Yeah. Drew: at Cincinnati. So you have two more weeks before two more games than a bye week before Pittman could even come back. So I'm gonna go after Bernard pretty heavy if he's available. Amanda: Absolutely. If didn't get him last week, now is your time. All Drew: Absolutely. Amanda: right. Well, let's move into our keep trade cut segment. What we're gonna do is we're gonna say a name, and then Drew and I, at the same time as best as we can, are going to say if we would keep him, trade him, or cut him before we give you context. Drew: Alrighty. First name Brian Thomas Junior. You ready? Three, two, one, cut. Amanda: Keep. Drew: Lame. All right, you have to convince me why he belongs on a roster because that's absolutely ridiculous. Amanda: Do you think he's gonna get traded? The only reason I'm scared to cut Brian Thomas Jr. is for the Marv situation. Is Brian Thomas Jr. going to get traded to be utilized by another team? He's not getting used right now. His he got two targets. Like it looks like they're just purposefully keeping Drew: more importantly Amanda: him off the field. Drew: more importantly had twenty one percent snap share. Amanda: Yeah, so like I'm watching his snap tier decrease. I'm wondering, are there talks of them moving Brian Thomas Jr. 'cause they don't need him and they could get something out of him to make that team even better. And Drew: Let's see. Amanda: this team is not like an old team. These are this is a a team that can continue to progress. So like are they either building future or continuing to stack for this year? Drew: From two days ago, Brian Thomas Jr. remains off Jaguars trade block. Continues to draw attention around the league ahead of November tenth deadline, but the team has shown no inclination that intends to move on from him. Yeah okay. Amanda: That's why I'm un I'm uncertain 'cause like I would love to cut him. I literally said if he goosegs me again, get the fuck off my bench. But then I'm like, fuck. It would be the big it would be the most Amanda thing for me to cut this motherfucker and then him get traded to a team they use him and I'm pissed off of myself. Drew: Yeah. I mean a mid season trade getting a lot of work is not super common, Amanda: Not likely. Drew: especially if it's not like Devontae Adams got traded, but he's a Amanda: Marv going back to his old quarterback, yes. Drew: future Hall of Famer. So like he got work, but like Amari got traded mid season. That didn't work at all. there's a lot of guys, Amanda: No. I mean Drew: like especially the receiver but Rasheed Shahid got traded last year. I mean Amanda: I mean that didn't go that bad. Drew: fantasy wise, it was co he went from being relevant Amanda: Yeah, you're right. Drew: because he was the only option for the Saints to being completely irrelevant. Amanda: Irrelevant. Drew: okay, so I so I'm a cut outside of this is a how fortunate Amanda: Fluid. Drew: how fortunate are you of a team? Amanda: Correct. Mm-hmm. Drew: Do you not have a lot of injuries and you're a winning fantasy team that has extra roster spots, excuse me, on the bench where you can afford to stash a guy, then Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: keep him. So like don't just get rid of him because he's there. If you need the spot, however, absolutely Amanda: Agreed. Drew: he's cut up. Amanda: I agree. So I think that was a very valid keep cut argument because I agree. If you can't afford it, get him gone. But if you can, I don't mind watching the plot develop just in case. Drew: Alright, next name we little lad McConkie. Amanda: Ready? Cut. Drew: Cut, yes. To me, it's a full cut. If you can trade him, go ahead and trade him. I can't. Amanda: Bye. I don't want any part of it. We've watched not only like Lad get hurt eighty five times, but also like Justin Herbert ain't got nothing to he none. No, we're good. We good here. Drew: Yeah, he's No, that team's that team's awful. Now that's this it's it's just crazy 'cause like this is a guy that's gonna end up getting cut by tons of teams. Like he'll be like ten percent rostered and then like week nine he'll show up or week ten, he'll be healthy, and then like he'll win Amanda: It'll be a waver dump. Drew: somebody a league because he'll end up they'll just end up figuring something out at the end of the year and just hyper Amanda: Yeah. Drew: target him. But like I you can't play him and he's going Amanda: No. Drew: on by and I I just can't imagine that you have a roster spot available to keep him on your team. So like I'm take the permission, cut him, pick somebody else up that can help your team win now. Also, if you're a lad manager at this point in season, I'm gonna guess that you're probably not a very good fantasy team because Amanda: Yeah. Drew: he's was such a high pick and you've gotten nothing from him. And Amanda: Yeah, I agree. Drew: you've played him. So it's not even like you've benched him. all right, next name. Then this one's a little bit more interesting. Dalton Kincaid Keep. Amanda: Trade. Drew: Okay. Amanda: yeah, I mean I I think if I could use him as leverage to trade for someone I feel like could be more consistent, I would I would go for it. I don't give me your thoughts on keeping him. Drew: I don't think the value you're gonna get by trading him is gonna be the same as keeping him. So Amanda: Is worth it. Okay. Drew: I don't think that you can move on from him and get somebody that you can put into in weekly that's gonna give you enough points. So like would the Tucker Kraft manager trade him for Dalton Kincaid straight up? Probably not. I mean, maybe. I would take that 'cause I think Kraft is is more steady. Amanda: Yeah, I think someone would get I think people are looking at Tuckercraft disappointed and would take that. Drew: Okay, if somebody's got pits, are they gonna trade pits for Kincaid? After what he's done the last two weeks? No. So then you're Amanda: No, no. Not anymore. Drew: looking at like what, a Jawan Johnson, you could probably get that done, but Jawan's just goosed everybody, so I Amanda: He did goose egg do, yeah. So like if you really whore hot on Joan Johnson you could. Drew: Yeah, so I I just don't think the value that you're gonna get back puts you in any better situation. And like he has Amanda: You're not wrong. Drew: he has the ability to go for twenty plus points, eighteen and twenty two, which is what he did in the first week. So like having somebody that has that ability, unless you can get steady Eddie, ten points a game, which there's not that many of those guys around the league for tight end position, I just don't think that you can move Amanda: Unfortunately. Drew: him for anything else. Amanda: Yeah, I I agree with you on that. It it's it's one of those things that like I would love to say if you could trade him, get him off your roster, and get somebody else who could be more consistent, but I don't disagree with you. Like, what are the chances that he's going to be able to be moved for something an i upgrade, not just a lateral move or to be honest, a downgrade. Drew: Yep. All right. next player, Omarion Hampton. Three, two, one, trade. Amanda: Keep Drew: Okay, why? Amanda: Because like, what are you gonna get from him? Like what value are you gonna get back from R.I. Hampton? And running backs are just don't come in ties right now. They're hard to come by. He's still got fifty percent of the freaking work. I don't know. Those are my only Drew: Okay. Amanda: arguments and he sucks. Drew: Would you Quick. Let's see players season. Amanda: What are you doing? Drew: I'm gonna ask you a question. Let me find where he's at real quick. Amanda: Mine Hampton is just a that whole team is a conundrum. Drew: Would you trade Amara and Hampton for Tony Pollard? Amanda: Yeah. Drew: You would take Tony Pollard. Okay. Amanda: I would take Tony Pollard, yes. Drew: So I think you could get that done. Amanda: It feels disgusting too. But why? Are you really think we you could get that done? I guess yeah. Tony Pollard did have a shitty week last week. Drew: Hundred percent. would you trade a mari and that's why it's we okay, there we go. Would you trade Amari and Hampton for Woody Marks? Amanda: Yeah. Drew: Okay, would you trade Omar and Hampton for R. J. Harvey. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: How about four? Rashad White. Amanda: No. Wait, I would take Rashad White for Myron Hampton. Yeah, okay. Well JCM went on IR, so yeah. You think that would get done? I mean I don't think the Rashad White won because Drew: Okay. Yeah, so you would trade So again, you you say there's no options. I there's all options that like I think a lot of those would just based on name value. Amanda: JCM just got hurt, so like Yeah. Drew: Yeah, but that's temporary. It's a four week window. And even if not, like I there's names on here that are gross, that have no name val Tyler Algier, would you take Tyler Algier over on Marian Hampton? Okay. Amanda: Nah, I'd probably sit on Hampton. Drew: But there's names here that I think you could find. People aren't excited about some of these names that I think you could get a trade done that Amanda: Yeah. I mean I'm not excited about Tony Pollard, but Tony Pollard feels a little bit more steady eddy right now. Drew: I again they're not exciting for you either, but would I rather have Amari and Hampton on my team at this point with the way their team is going than like getting steady points from somebody? So all right, Amanda: Yeah, no. Yeah. Drew: two more. Let's do Rome Adunze. Three, two, one, trade, Amanda: Keep Drew: four. I would keep him. Correct. Amanda: Trade four. Okay, so I said keep. All right. Drew: It's it's a keep I just wanted to throw out there that like I would be currently actively trying to go get Amanda: You target him. Drew: him. I would be targeting him now. So I just want to throw a little bit of extra on that that like I would keep him, but I'd also be targeting him right now. ninety plus percent snap share over the last two weeks, eighty-nine, eighty five, eighty-four before that. So like he is a full time guy. And this week coming off of four targets, three receptions, thirty nine yards, super disappointing. Week before, ninety nine percent snap share, nine targets, three catches with a backup quarterback. He hasn't been he's been double digits once. So he is a very trade available player that if they're somebody's, you know, the Adunze manager, I cannot imagine really wants to hang on to Adunze. So I Amanda: Yeah. Drew: think you could go get him for a reasonable price tag. And these back end metrics are very nice. So I I think his big games are coming up. Now he's got a really tough schedule coming up. So he's got New England, then he's got Seattle. So Maybe you wait until those two weeks are done and hope that he doesn't explode over the next two weeks for anything. And then you really get good value because then he's got Tampa and a bye week and then New Orleans and week eleven, which is most fantasy trade deadlines. So I think I think he's an option coming up soon that you could get for a very nice Amanda: All right. Drew: price tag. Amanda: Hear me out. Let's say this person really needs a wide receiver and they were to get Josh Jones and doing nothing Jordan Addison, would I be able to get Roman Dunce? Drew: I think there's a chance you could send just r downs. Amanda: Just Downs. I mean, Downs has been underperforming. I mean, I also have a Kendrick Bourne, Drew: They both have. Amanda: but I'd think I'd rather have Kendrick Bourne. Drew: You could absolutely send Kendrick Bourne for a doonse. Yeah. Well, I mean, Amanda: For doing dice straight. Drew: I would send it straight and see what happens because Bourne's production production's been there. Amanda: It's been good, yeah. Drew: also Addison's production. 17 and seven the last two times he's been out there. So like it's that's better than what Adunze's done. So you might be able to do Addison. And then he was out Amanda: That's true. We got the vision. Drew: because he was hurt week five and then he just got off the bye. Plus you can you know they've already gone on a bye week. So that's another thing that the again when you're trading you kind of have to talk to the players as well. Amanda: True. Drew: Send it, send it and go, hey, Addison's coming. He's already been on would you do Addison for Adunze? you're getting an extra week because Addison's already done his buy and Adunes hasn't happened yet. So there's a chance that somebody takes that as well. I wouldn't start with both. I would start with the one you want to Amanda: I like it. start low. Drew: get rid of, send it, see if they take it, and then talk to him. Amanda: Sure. I like it. I like it. All right. Final player. Asking for a friend, of course. Yeah. I don't know who that Drew: You're asking for a friend though. Okay. Amanda: friend is, but all right, keep trade cut. Let's talk DK Metcalf. Ready? Drew: Three, two, one, keep. Yep, absolutely. He's too involved. Amanda: Keep Yeah. Drew: Same thing, same story all year. You're gonna be disappointed some weeks, and it sucks that he's not all world, Amanda: DK's gonna let you down sometimes. Drew: but his snap obviously he's their number one and Amanda: It's worth it. Drew: his just target share's been too good for most of the season. Amanda: Absolutely. Yeah. And again, like he's gonna let you down, but it is what it is. You kinda gotta see through that plot and keep keep trusting it. he's been too involved. All right. So that is it for our keep trade cut segment. We're gonna move into injury news and updates. Hit us with a jer. Drew: Alright, let's start with Jalen Hurts. So came out last week that they found a blood clot. He had a c so basically what happened is he they flew to London, played against the Jags, came back. He had calf strain during the game. They did a I almost said autopsy. ultrasound. I don't know why that that's yes terrible foreshadowing, I guess. Amanda: no Dark. Drew: knock on wood. did an ultrasound that Honest calf to see if they needed to do further tests or MRIs or whatever. They found a blood clot. So obviously a super serious situation. Found the blood clot, got some extra second opinion, second third opinions from doctors on Saturday, and they determined, nope, not gonna be able to play with this. This is too serious. It's it moved on the on him as well. So instead of just calling him out for Sunday, they put him on the IR and said he's out for at least four weeks. Typically with any type of blood clot, we learned this with Chris Olave from I believe it was last year. That's like a three-month timeline because they're gonna have to put it's Amanda: Thinners. Drew: a seri it's a serious health issue. So gotta put them on blood thinners. You obviously can't play football on blood thinners, and then they've got to get it cleared out, get get rid of it, and then take you off blood thinners. And then that takes a certain amount of time for you to be able to recover before you can play football again. he is now out for the season. new update today. He has They found multiple blood clots in his lungs. So super serious situation. he's just they're they just said he's done for the season. So we will not see Jalen Hurts again this season, hoping that we see him again ever. Hopefully they can get it cleared Amanda: I know. Drew: up and medically he's okay. Obviously we we you know, thoughts and everything go out to him and his family 'cause it's a serious situation. Amanda: Sad. Yeah, it's scary. Drew: So hopefully he recovers from it and is okay. And yes, we would love to see him on a football field again. However More importantly, let's just hope that he's, you know, healthy and Amanda: Healthy. Drew: okay for the rest of his life. So, fantasy wise, obviously full drop because he will not be coming back this year. All right. Amanda: Will not be back. Poor Jalen Hurts. You called it, you were like, Jalen Hurts, I'm gonna go after him. And then that news came out like right after we filmed and I was like, whoa. Drew: I kn it literally the the yeah, like the ch the day after we filmed last week where I said I think I trade for him. Amanda: No, it was it was like right out 'cause we filmed on Thursday. So like it was like literally hours after you dropped the episode. Yes, I was like, whoa. Drew: that's right. We did film Thursday. Yep. Yep. all right. Tyler Warren groin was a s kind of surprise inactive for week six. that kind of came out of nowhere. Amanda: First of all, I was like deep in like getting ready for marathon and so like I didn't see it and I was like, Wait, Tyler Warren's not playing? Drew: Yeah, that was a bit of a surprise. Dalton Kincaid hurt his ribs in the game yesterday against the Raiders. he did come back and play, just be aware with rib injuries. Sometimes they can get hurt during the game and come back and play, and it doesn't always mean that they automatically play the next week. Sometimes they do have to take a week off. So monitor that. lad McConkey concussion. This dude just cannot stay on the field. Romeo Dobbs shoulder and hamstring injuries, caught one deep ball touchdown, got hurt on that play, and is now officially, as of twenty minutes ago, put on IR, so he is out for four weeks. So Amanda: You know what? He saved you though for that touchdown. He literally said, I got you Drew: Yeah, yeah. Amanda: guys, and then her we were like, Ooh, okay. Drew: JCM again as of twenty minutes ago. it is Monday that we're recording this. You guys will get this on Tuesday, so they have not played Monday night yet. However, doesn't matter. They have officially put him in on IR. My guess is they put him on IR now because tonight's game counts as one of the four games that one of the four weeks that he has to miss. So he'll be able to be activated a little bit earlier than if they would have waited until tomorrow. so Rashad White, obviously huge pickup. Devontae Adams hurt his leg later in the game and it was non contact. So I don't know if it's his knee, if it's his ankle, what part of his leg it is. I have not seen what it is yet. they have not come out with anything yet. I would expect something in the next couple of hours. They are, excuse me, a West Coast team, so their injury reports are not due until like six o'clock or something, Eastern time. We're recording this before that. So we will have more information on Thursday. And on some positive note, Tank Dell, receiver for the Texans, who for people who don't remember him, yeah, his rookie year, he Amanda: won you fantasy leagues when he was playing. Drew: had a great rookie year. He had a couple devastating injuries, back to back years. He has not played since 2024. He will be active for week seven this week coming up. So Amanda: Him and CJ Stroud in the heyday were were electric. That like it was at CJ's rookie year and like Drew: Yes. Amanda: tanked, it was just so fun. Drew: Yep. So yeah, that's all the injuries for the week. Amanda: All right. Well, that's all we got there. We're gonna move on to our top performers of the week. You'll hang with me while I tell you all of the optimistic news of who performed really well for you this week. Let's start with our quarterbacks. It's okay, we're still optimistic, Drew: There wasn't a ton of this week, so it'll be a short segment. Amanda: baby. players who scored 20 points or more. And we gotta start with my boy T Law coming out scoring 28.3 points, four passing touchdowns like a badass. All right, anyways, Tyler Shuck, people were worried about him after a very disappointing week five, and he came out. Saying hold my beer. Drew: They almost gave that game away. Amanda: I know it. I know it. It was nerve-wracking, but scored 27 points. CJ Stroud, if you needed an emergency quarterback, held it down at 24. Drake May. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Drew: That was the other half of that London game. Amanda: Drake May still showing us he's even if AJ Brown can't catch a football. Drake May still relevant. 23.8 points. Michael Penix Jr. and Jordan Love making the list as well. Drew: Yep. Pretty decent list this week. Not a lot of automatic starters in this list. I mean, T I we had questions Amanda: No, I agree. Michael Penix was a big stra I told you like I saw multiple of our leagues, like people picked up Michael Penix to play 'cause it was quarterback desperity Drew: Yeah. Amanda: after Jalen Hurts went out. And I like, what does it feel like to play Penix? But he held it down. Drew: Yeah. Honestly, Drake May was probably the only auto start person in this bunch of s over the last couple of weeks people have gotten back on board. Amanda: great. Drew: I everybody else is typically on like two raw like teams with two quarterbacks rostered. Amanda: Two quarterbacks. Yeah. Drew: so good week for those guys. Hope you pick the right person. Amanda: not everybody did and that's all right. Drew: Nope. Amanda: All right, let's move into our running backs. Running backs, fifteen points or greater on the week. Again, not a giant list. Kenneth Walker. Drew: Uh-huh. Who's who's number one? God Himself. Amanda: my god, twenty six point nine points, the man that you are. Drew: And should have had a third touchdown, got stuffed on the goal line. Amanda: I know I was kind of upset about it because I really needed that other touchdown because now I could lose this week. And it's okay though. I'll I'll forgive you, Kenneth. James Cook making the list again, twenty-two point eight points by Shall Boot Scootin' Tutin at 22.7. Tootin. Drew: Chugga chugga toot toot. Amanda: Always be tootin', baby. DeAndre Swift, 21 points. Jonathan Taylor, 20.1. Chuba Hubbard basically leading that team there at eighteen point six. And unfortunately, Mr. Tyro Tracy, which should have been Camp Scadaboo, and I won't forgive the Giants. All right. Drew: Yeah, two two touchdowns on only eight target or only eight touches for Tyrone Tracy. So like don't we talked a lot about earlier, but just don't chase touchdowns ever because it ti touchdowns are not sticky. Amanda: I hate you, Tyrone. You know what? I think Tyrone Tracy's gonna be my what's his name? Sharps. Fuck you. Like I'm Drew: Charbonnet. Amanda: sorry. Drew: Chuba Hubbard twenty eight carries. That is a monster workload. Amanda: He held yeah. A ton of workload, yes. Drew: All right. What do we got in the receivers? Amanda: All right, 15 and over points for our receivers. Trey Tucker making the top of this Drew: You're welcome. Amanda: list. Yeah, 24.2 points. And he looked good. I mean, Kirk Cousins trust him with a deep ball. It was, it was great to see. Malik Neighbors, Jeremy, Jeremy Bernard. Drew: Yep. Jeremy, very nice. Amanda: I love it. Jackson Smith and Jigba, obviously. Gonna be gonna be golden. okay. I've got some in the freezer. I also no, I use sniper, Drew: Obviously. Jinx, you and Mia Soda. Little Kim Possible reference for all you millennials out there. Amanda: no sniping earlier. gonna be gonna be golden, looking great out there. Omar Cooper Jr., I can be very transparent with you. I don't know who that is. Drew: He's a first round rookie for the New York Jets. He he he was he's been hurt a lot this year, so Amanda: Omar, what a name. Alright. Okay, okay. That's why I'm unfamiliar. Alright, Jalen is it Noel? It's Noel, it's Noel. Okay. Okay, Jalen Noel. Drew: Yep. Noel. I have no idea. I also thought it was I I I would I c I'll tell you what I think it is, but then also like Travis Travis Etienne or Etienne, so that was six years. Amanda: I think it's Noel. Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's Noel. People say Noel, but every time I see his jersey, I say Noel. And it's not that. Okay. Devontae Smith, Jahan Dotson, Demario Douglas, who once Romeo Dubbs went out, that's who Drake May connected with. And Carnell Tate. Did you have enough balls to start him? I didn't. So well, I couldn't think of Drew: Kahunas. Yeah. big Amanda: kahunas, so I just went with the real word. Drew: Yeah, the biggest ones here is Devante s Devonta Smith. Sh Amanda: Mm-hmm. Garbage time. Wasn't it garbage timey? Drew: doesn't matter. It shows you that he can have relevance with Tanner McKee rest of season. So, that's really good there. Amanda: A grade. A grade. You're safe. Marked safe from the quarterback exit. Drew: Yeah, that's really good there. Golden has become a weekly start. Jeremy, we talked about as of right now is a weekly start. you Amanda: Easy start. Yes. I mm. Twelve targets. Drew: know, Malik. Trey Tucker is a boomer bust player that will have Big games in good matchups. So do not go Amanda: Good matchups. Drew: chase Trey Tucker. Listen to the podcast, find out when the good matchups are because he is this has been his entire career. He has the ability to go off for two touchdowns and get you twenty five points, but it's not gonna happen against most opponents. Amanda: Yeah, absolutely. All right. Moving over to our top tight ends, ten points or over, we've got Isaiah Likely making the top of our list at twenty point nine. he looks great. Every time I'm like, holy sh Drew: Dude is a monster this year. Absolute monster. Amanda: he's making contested cat I mean it's great to see. Drew: Yeah, and Harbaugh, I get that he's still his coach now, but like, why was this dude not on the field over old man Mark Andrews the last three years? Amanda: Preach. Isaiah basically said, You didn't want to play me there. Are you Drew: 'Cause you're a terrible football coach. Amanda: gonna play me here? This is why you should have played me all along. All right. Kyle Pitty pits Drew: Absolute clown, clown family. Amanda: himself, twenty point five points. Tommy Tremble, sniping from from Darren Waller, who goose egged all of you. Drew: not really sniping. Tommy's their main tight end. Amanda: Tommy. Colston Loveland, 15.5 points. Welcome back, Loveland. Welcome to Fantasy Football Again, Colston. Drew: Welcome to the NFL Colston Loveland. Thought you were in the CFL the last five weeks. Amanda: It was unfortunate. Foster Moreau. Michael Mayer. Hunter Henry. huh. Josh Ooh. Quavis. Is that is Drew: Josh Quavus. I knew you wouldn't know how to spell or say that, Quavus. Amanda: that tequila? Quavis? Quavo no, Jose Cuervo. Drew: That's Johnny it's Johnny Cuervo. Did you say Jose Cuervo? Is it Jose Cuervo? Amanda: Cuervo, Quavis, I like it. I did it is Jose Cuervo, isn't it? What did you say it was? No, Johnny Walker, Jose Cuervo. Drew: Johnny Yeah. Yeah, I think it is. Johnny Quavo, I think, which is not right. Jose Cuervo. Amanda: Well, Josh said Jose. Josh Quavis. Well, now he's now he's Jose Cuervo. Damn it. I know, probably not. Drew: Quavis. He is now just hor he is he's Jose Cuervo, which I don't know how much he'll pop up, but he is a rookie rookie tight end for the Baltimore Ravens, scored a touchdown, so Amanda: All right. Colby Cheese Parkinson and Darnell Washington. We love a big man. Drew: Very good. Michael Mayer, seven for ninety-five, so clearly he is involved. I've all Amanda: Raise your hand if you're a Brock Bowers manager. Raise your hand if you're really pissed off. Drew: Yeah I could have sworn he had seventeen receptions, not seven. He had four of those. He had four of those, Amanda: All we saw was Michael Maire. Drew: I think, in a row on the same drive. And I just happened to be watching right when that happened. So good for him, but Yeah, I know we talked about a lot Amanda: Something like that. Drew: of these guys. Likely's a weekly guy, Pitts good, Loveland hopefully coming back into the fray. and then just Amanda: Kayla back to that helps. Drew: yeah, some random touchdown scores. Amanda: Some random dudes. All right, go ahead and be pessimistic with us. Drew: All right, let's get into the disappointments of the week. Guys that scored way below the projection and probably lost you your week. Let's start with I cannot believe he is still an NFL quarterback that has a starting job, Bo Nicks. that dude is garbage at football. Did you see Amanda: You know, I saw God. Drew: Fitzpatrick after the game just shit on Bo Knicks? Called Amanda: He's back. Drew: him a d he said it was a like he was what is it? goodness. not disappointment to NFL quarterbacks. What did he say? he said it yes, he said he was disgracing Amanda: Disgrace? Drew: the quarterback position with the way he is playing. He said it was disgracing the position. i this dude's awful. Awful. Amanda: No. no. I watched something where it was like Bo Nick's, you know, hey coach, I need someone I can throw a deep ball to. That'll change everything. Get Jalen Waddle. Bo Nick's can't throw a deep ball. Like, what is happening? Drew: Yeah. Awful. More importantly, like the the bonehead things he does in like important situations. Like I've never seen a quarterback I've seen it more this year, but Bonex has done it a lot where he'll get out of the pocket, scramble out the pocket, avoid sacks, and then like slow up before the sideline, looking for people downfield, which is what quarterbacks do give yourself the last second and then throw the ball away. Instead of throwing the ball away, He just runs out of bounds and takes a six yard loss for a sack instead of throwing the ball away. I I don't understand what like if you don't want to run downfield and get crushed, that's fine. Just toss the ball out of bounds. I don't understand what he's doing. And then at the end of the Amanda: Like we used to love Drew: game, at the end of the game, they're they're just try because Sean Payton doesn't trust him at all anymore. So they're trying to run the clock down. They've got the lead against Seattle, and instead of letting him throw the ball on third down. They throw they you know down the field, they he calls a screen pass. It's a little delayed halfback screen. He basically just has to turn, we he's gotta wait a minute in the pocket, turn, and throw the ball towards the sideline where the running back is. Everything to the play goes like that, except that the defensive end is basically in between him and the running back. So instead of either eating it, because all they're trying to do is waste Seattle's time, waste the time on the clock, instead of just Holding onto the ball, going down, taking a sack, and just letting the clock continue to run, which means the Seahawks should have had 15 seconds left when they got the punt back and had to go the full length of the field. Or throw it over the defensive end's head. He tries to sling a sidearm right into the defender's arm. Almost he gets knocked down. I'm surprised it wasn't picked off. And then Seahawks get the ball back with forty-five seconds. And luckily, Sam Darnold sucks too. But Bo Nicks is awful. Sorry. Let's move on to the rest of the list. Amanda: Huh. Okay. Drew: Jacoby the Amanda: The Dominican. Drew: donk brassette. I was giving you the segue to say it. Jameis Winston. I Amanda: thank you. I thought you were gonna say it. I got really fucking excited. Drew: was not gonna say it. Jameis Winston, who may not be the starter next week. And yeah, Amanda: we're just benching everybody now. Fuck up. Drew: and probably the only one that you guys started, Dak Prescott, who has looked very bad this season so far. Amanda: I'm not gonna lie, I'm so mad I didn't put Shuck in. I was like, it's okay, Dak Proscott, hold it down, speak good gay No. Sucked. Mm-hmm. Drew: It's great matchup. Not for Dak, apparently. all right, running backs. Caleb Johnson, he should not be on a roster anymore. He is not involved. Najee Harris, terrible. Keyton Mitchell, terrible. Marshawn Lloyd, one point, and this is the first one that really hurts because he was probably started. Amanda: You know what? There are times where I just wanted to like go home. I was like, just someone put me put me out of this misery 'cause like what the fuck happened? It should have been such a now we did get like Drew: Yeah. Eight carries for ten yard that's bad. Amanda: get rogue hurt and then came back, but bad. They need Josh Jacobs back basically at this point to be maybe relevant. Drew: Eight for ten is that's that's awful. and I did we did not mention we did not mention earlier Josh Jacobs officially off the commissioner's exempt list. He is eligible to play starting week seven. He will be their full time Bell Cal starting in week seven. The Amanda: Yeah, martial law is irrelevant now. Drew: NFL is keeping the investigation open. That way if something else occurs, aka they find a way to get a hold of the details in the video, they can still suspend him, but he will be the Bell Cow. I don't know if it's gonna be good because I don't know if this is because the running backs are bad or it's because the offensive line is bad or if it's both, Amanda: We're gonna find out. Drew: but we're gonna find out. Kenny Gainwell, two point nine points. Ramondre Stevenson, fourteen carries, thirty six yards, abysmal. Derek Henry fumbled his fumbled his way into a Cleveland Browns victory. Thank you, Derek. Love you. Amanda: Mm, mm, mm. Drew: Emmanuel Wilson, we talked about the Seahawks. Bucky Irving, down week after a huge week, five point nine. Bijan Robinson with a rare six point game. Amanda: If you played against Bijan this week, you are blessed. Blessed. Drew: Yep. And Kyron Williams eight point two. he got Blake Coramed. And Amanda: Yeah. In a real world you could have had Bijan and Kyron as your running backs 'cause like they were drafted they could have been drafted, you know, in the where Bijan got that's freaking nutto week for Drew: Beginning of first and s end of second. Yeah. Amanda: you. Drew: ten for fifty, five yards of carry is great. Three catches, seventeen yards, still pretty good. Amanda: No touchdown. Drew: got more work because they thought that they were gonna handle this game, so they went back to the whole, it's an easy matchup, so we'll do every other series. And Amanda: I think they learned a you think they learned a lesson? Drew: absolutely not. Absolutely not. 'Cause Corum didn't look bad either, so like I get it. Amanda: No, he actually did look good, yeah. Drew: but that team is in trouble. Amanda: I can't believe they lost to the Arizona Cardinals. Like what happened? And Drew: That team's in trouble. Yep. Amanda: like to a like that the offense did not thrive on the Cardinals. Like they beat themselves, to be clear. Drew: Yep. All right. Wide receivers, a gigantic list of relevant wide receivers this week. Rashad Bateman, Goose Egg. He is full drop. Brian Thomas, we discussed it earlier. Goose egg. Efton Chisholm. Now that wow, Dobbs is hurt. Now, full drop. Kyle Williams. Amanda: Yeah. Never gonna be able to trust him. Drew: Yep, Kyle Williams, also on the Patriots. Again, he's not going to get much work now that AJ's back and Pop is playing well. Denzel Boston, two points. I'm not in. I'm not crazy worried about this one. again, it was a slog fest. Five targets. Amanda: It's a bad game. Drew: Yeah, he he had he had a lot of coverage from Nate Wiggins, who's a very good corner. So I'm not I'm not too worried about this one. Khalif Raymond, terrible game. Cortland Sutton, Dantavian Wicks, Makai Lemon, Wandale Robinson. Are any of those I mean, is Cortland Sutton rosterable anymore? Dontavian Wicks? Amanda: No. Yeah. Drew: He's a full drop for me. Makai Lemon, now that Hurts is gonna be gone, Amanda: I wouldn't. Drew: I wouldn't roster him either. Wandale Robinson, seven targets, but they're Cam Ward targets, so three catches. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: all right, let's get into the big names here. Jalen Waddle, four points. What do you do? Amanda: Like here's the thing. Did we expect this week to be good for him? No. Like I expected it to be a bad week. Like I didn't want to start him. I had to start him because I had no other options. I mean I don't wanna I don't wanna drop him because like he's supposed to be the wide receiver one. Like I don't wanna start him though. Yeah. For Bonex. Drew: For Bonex. Yeah, but it's a wide receiver one for Bonex. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: Which is basically like the wide receiver one for a trash can. So Amanda: What a roast. I like it. Drew: Michael Wilson, I'm feeling spicy today. Michael Wilson, five points, seven targets, played a really good defense, and he just he's starting to not be as good as everybody thought he was. Amanda: feeling scary. It's feeling scary. Drew: Devontae Adams, five points, he got hurt. Roma Dunze, we talked about him. Devon Vale, five point seven, six targets, three for forty two. That is a little discouraging, especially considering that Juwan Johnson was a full goose, too. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: And Shuck had a big game. Where did all of those points go? Amanda: Lave passes to the running backs as well, right? Drew: let me I'm gonna look this up 'cause this is pretty I mean thirty four points. Shuck had three passing touchdowns. Camara had f no four Amanda: Yeah. Chimara Kendra Miller. S no, two for two. Drew: target four targets to Kamara, two targets to Miller, one target to Donaldson. Amanda: four to Lance had a couple. Drew: Bryce Lance had four targets. Amanda: Mm. Drew: And Delp had two. Man, that's not a lot of pass. 30 pass attempts. 16 for 30 is not very good of a and only 144 yards from Shuck. So Amanda: They just sp yeah. No. Forty four yards. Mm-hmm. Drew: Shuck honestly just did a touchdown, spaled you out. Amanda: Yeah, yeah. Drew: All right. and then Garrett Wilson had a down week. Christian Watson, eight points won't kill ya, but three of eight targets is a pretty poor percentage. Amanda: Yeah, sure wanted more than that. Didn't he have a couple penalties called back though? Drew: I you know, I only watched the first quarter of that game, so I don't know. Amanda: I think he caught some stuff and it stuff got p called back. Drew: Got called back. Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: and then Puka, eleven points, which is shocking that that is so far below projections that he's on this list, but you expect twenty points from Puka. Amanda: You know, I thought I was gonna I yeah, played against Puka and after the first I don't think he had any catches or something. Like or no, that was Brock Bowers. He had no catches after the first half or whatever. Yeah, it was and I was like, Holy shit. Drew: Puka Puka didn't either. Because I played against Puka and I had Bowers and neither one at halftime. I believe both of them were o zero catches on two targets at halftime, if I remember correctly. Amanda: Yikomanda. Drew: actually, no, that was Waller and Joanson. Anyway, Amanda: okay. Drew: speaking of Joanson, he goose Amanda: Ooh. Drew: egged you. So did Darren Waller. Mark Andrews almost goosed you. Harold Fannon, another bad week. Pat Fryermouth, very disappointing. Amanda: Super. Drew: And Tyler Higby. wow, that's not great. Yep. Amanda: That sucks. Yeah. Cause I was like, Higby's a startable guy. And then Colp it I this is the conversation for both the Rams and the Steelers. They're gonna use both of their running backs and you're never gonna be or running backs tight ends and you're never gonna Drew: Tight ends. Amanda: be able to guess what's won. So like you could take a stab at it, but you could guess wrong and it's gonna result in despair. Like FireMuth, however, Darnell Washington made the best performers. So like just keep in mind that like that's always gonna be happening. Drew: Yeah. Amanda: And even Darren Waller. Like they have Tommy Trumbull. And are you gonna be able to guess the right week? Props not. So like you're better off taking if you have to go into the deep dark despair, like you're better off going with, you know, a T J Hawkinson who at least is gonna get more of the work. Yes. Drew: It it's also well, th it's they're also matchup guys like Pat's not a Pat and Tyler and at this point Mark Andrews and Darren Waller are not ever they're not weekly guys. They're matchup dependent, bi week fill ins, injury fill ins, and they just didn't have good weeks. And you expected Pat and Tyler to have better weeks than this on the matchups they had, and unfortunately it just didn't happen. Darren or Darren, Harold Fannon Jr. Amanda: Scary. Again, the offense was shit. And coming off of a rain game, you were kinda hoping that like we could see the offense get back into flow to trust these guys a little bit more. Alas it did not. Drew: He's just it's this is I f okay, here's his year so far. Four points, ten points, twenty-four points, eleven points, great three weeks, one point, just under two points. Amanda: One point. Mm-hmm. Drew: So I I'm scared if I have him. Amanda: It's feelin' petty. It's feelin' petty. Drew: I'm scared if I have him, but I have to play him. Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: Like I don't what what are you what are your what's your better options? Amanda: I there is n there aren't any. There better options are guesses. Drew: And if you look at the if you look at the matchups, it's not like you're playing against just awesome I mean, Jets, Baltimore and Jackson. I s yeah, I just I don't know what to do. Matchup I Amanda: Yeah. Drew: don't even think you can look at matchup. I think it's just you play and hope for the best right now. Amanda: yeah, and it's it's unfortunate for sure. 'Cause like you're just hoping it's a good week. Drew: Yep. All right. Those are all the disappointments of the week. Let's wrap up the episode with some waiver discussion. Amanda: Perfect. Let's talk first. I'm gonna mention teams of the bye this week. Bills, Drew: Yes. Amanda: Jags, a rough week. Chargers, irrelevant, and the commanders. So Bills, Jags, Chargers, Commanders, when you're using your waiver wire. Bills and Jags are the and commanders, yes, are the only Drew: So Bill's Bill's Jags Commanders. Yep. Amanda: teams that'll probably have relevant players for you. Take a look at that. Make sure you're utilizing the waiver wire correctly. Again, at this point, the waiver wire becomes more of a what do you need? Not, these players busted out. You need them. What does your team need to actually roster a full starting lineup? Drew: Yeah. By weeks, injuries, that's kind of the part of the season we're in. There aren't always gonna be big names that were like, you need to go get this guy. this week I would say that there is one, Jeremy Bernard. I Amanda: huh. Drew: I think he is one that no matter what your roster is, I think he is a good guy to go get. Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: other than that, let's go through obviously this is early for us, so we haven't gone through everyone yet, but quarterbacks Early looking at it, Kyler and CJ have pretty decent matchups this week. So if you need a stream, those are options that you may be able to do. CJ's played really well and Kyler's used his legs a lot this year. So he could run you to eighteen points and that'd be a good streaming week. running backs, you need to check on Zach Charbonnet if he's available. He is a good pickup. Kendra Miller could be a good one week fill in, check on Kamara's injury 'cause he did get hurt again. Jordan Mason, I he's eligible to come off IR. They were just on a bye week. Amanda: Mm-hmm. I think they said he's coming back. Drew: Yep. So I think he is a great option to pick up. Tyrone Tracy, maybe if you really want to go into the whole Giants backfield thing. and then Jonah Coleman, rookie for Denver. He's a speculative ad. He can come off of IR. This is a not a waiver guy. This would be a pickup after waivers if you have an open b bench spot to stash a guy. how about receivers? What do you think, Amanda? Amanda: gosh, I mean we talked about Jeremy, that's our top one there. I think, you know, Keenan Allen again is a s is safety net type of guy. He's not anyone who I would expect to get this gigantic a game from. Drew: He did have a big game, I think. Amanda: Well, he had a decent game. Drew: He had eight t he had eight for eleven targets for eighty two yards, eight catches for eighty two. That's a great if you're PPR, if you're PPR, that's sixteen points. Amanda: Okay. I mean that's pretty good for Keenan Allen. Yeah. You're sitting pretty. yeah, I think he's someone who you can rely on. Specifically too, like he I don't think he's gonna goose egg you. and he's getting utilized by Daniel Jones frequently. Drew: He had five for forty five last the week before. He was hurt the week before that. And the week before that went six for sixty three and one. So I think he should be he should be on rosters. He's a startable guy for sure. Same for Kendrick Bourne. Amanda: Okay. Yeah. Yeah. He should be rostered. Correct. Yeah. agreed. Agreed. It it Kendrick Bourne. Yep. I say Kendrick Bourne's another one that I think is a startable guy, specifically with Marv now no longer being there. and then yeah, I think Trey Tucker is also a PPR Drew: Those are big P PR guys in my opinion. So like if you're in a P PR league Amanda: guy. Like sp now again, we talked about this earlier is it's matchup dependent. and he's boomer bust. So, like it depends on what your roster Drew: Yeah. Amanda: needs and what you need that week. Drew: I'm not putting in a waiver claim for Trey Tucker this week if he's on waivers 'cause he plays the Rams this next week. So I will let Amanda: yeah. Drew: somebody else waste the waiver fab or the priority, pick up Trey Amanda: Let someone walk into that trap. Drew: pick up Trey Tucker, get destroyed by him and then drop him next week, and then I'll pick him up before his next good matchup. Amanda: Were you equally worried about Keenan Allen against the Vikings? Drew: Not as worried. Yes, Minnesota's a great defense, but the way that they play, it's harder to take Keenan Allen out of a game than it is to take Trey Tucker. Because Trey Tucker's the big, big play, boom play guy. Keenan Allen Amanda: But Drew: is they run four yards downfield, turn around, catch the ball, get tackled, fall down, and he can Amanda: Okay. Drew: PPR his way. He could be seven catches for thirty yards. And if you're in a PPR league, y that's a terrible game for a receiver, but that's ten points for PPR. That's a pretty good week for Amanda: Yeah. We're not worried about Daniel Jones with the Minnesota Vikings defense, who does not look good. Okay. Regardless. Drew: no, he's gonna be terrible, but I'm saying it's again he could be seven catches for thirty yards, which is an awful game. Amanda: Okay. It's all you need from him. Drew: That's great for the Vikings defense to hold him to that, but that's ten p PPR points. That's for a bye week or a fill in, or if you've got Jalen Waddle on your roster, that's better than you're gonna get from these guys. Stupid Bo Nicks. I don't even have Amanda: Fair. Okay, tell me Drew: Jalen Waddle. Amanda: I have one other name that I want you to give me feedback on because I know this is probably someone people are looking at Jalen Knoll. Drew: Nope. I'm not Amanda: Agreed. Yes. I Drew: interested. Amanda: think about the crowded room in Houston right now, too. Like they've added and Tank Dell's coming back. Drew: Yep. Marv is just gonna get more work. Tank is coming back. Who CJ Yeah, I'm not it's too crowded. That's gonna Amanda: Too crowded. Drew: be that's gonna be Nico every week, and we'll see who else can take, you know, who else's week is it, in my opinion. And it should be Marv. Amanda: Yeah. Yeah. Drew: tight end, Hunter Henry, and I really hate to say this out loud. Mark Andrews has a great matchup this week against Cincinnati. He is very heavily rostered, but if he's not Amanda: My eye twitched when you said his name. Drew: If he's not rostered in your league and you need a fill in because of buyer injury, if you have Kincaid or you've got Who is the other? Jags. If you got Bretton Strange, it's not a bad option this week to play Mark Andrews. and then this is coming out on Tuesday. We're recording this Monday before Monday night football, so I do not know what's going to happen in tonight's game or last night's game if you're listening to this on Tuesday. Rashad White, Austin Eckler. JCM just got put on to the IR. Those are the two Washington Commanders running backs. I don't know how the split's gonna look like 'cause I haven't watched the game yet, but One of those two will probably be very interesting going into waivers on Tuesday. Rashad's probably f heavily rostered, but just take a look and and check out Monday Night Football's game and one of those is gonna be very interesting.
