- Malcolm: Like like where are these AI labs gonna go and like who exactly would be put in place to check them or to like make sure that that what they're building is not going to like kill everybody? Thomas: I mean. Yeah, it's all good concerns. I mean the stuff is what can I say? It's it's it's gonna happen. I mean, think about the people that are gonna be in charge of these decisions. What do they go and do? What think I want everyone just look up where a good chunk of the AI look at the countries where a lot of technological innovation is happening. Think about the countries where they have these big Malcolm: We're cooked. Come on, we're cooked. Yeah. Thomas: ⁓ AI labs, they have all this tech, they're really known for tech. ⁓ you know, and I'm I mean, and I'm not talking about China necessarily. Outside of China, there's other countries beyond China. Malcolm: Yeah what yeah. W what can't you think about? Thomas: I don't know. I don't know what I'm thinking about. There's a lot of countries. There's a lot of countries. ⁓ you know, I'm sure I think they got a AI ⁓ lab in Ca Cape Verde. Cape Verde or Cap yeah, Cape Cape Verde, Cape Verde. Yeah, so you know. but do do your research, man. Do your research. Look at where these companies get their tech from. Look at where the tech's going. Look at even if he calls for government intervention and regulation. Malcolm: Ha ha ha. Yeah. Thomas: The same people doing the regulation, the same people that go out and kill people every day. So what more can we do other than wait for it to happen? I mean, at this point, mean, I can't suggest anything. ⁓ people are happier to see a little Dirk walk out, you know, not even worried about the fact that he could be walking out into a world where it doesn't even matter, where his music, he don't the record labels could say, Hey, we're we're not letting you make any more music. ⁓ we have your voice, we have enough, we can just make whatever we want. ⁓ so it's it's just an interesting predicament, man. I I think I think it's inevitable. All we can do is hope that they treat this like all other ⁓ innovations, like the assembly line, where it doesn't f you know, ruin our lives, it doesn't kill us, but it just helps in some way. I mean, even with Elon, with the the self-driving fleet of cars that he's proposing, like, hey, your car can make you money while you're away. Malcolm: Uh-huh. Yeah I I I was just I was just watching that man. Thomas: But I don't I don't even want I don't know the future, man. It's it's ⁓ it's crazy. By the way, ⁓ for that country statement, man. I didn't say any countries, I didn't name anywhere. ⁓ you know, shout out to everybody make doing innovation. Please, please, please ⁓ don't kill me, don't don't kill anyone. ⁓ I don't know anything. I I'm just a I'm AI. Malcolm: This is psycho. Tryna tryna run, huh? Thomas: Yeah, no, no, I don't want small. I'm not running from anything because I I there's nothing to run for. I I didn't do anything. I'm not the enemy. I'm not the enemy. Malcolm: W what are you so scared of? Unfortunately, as you're saying this, the black trucks are already lined up outside ⁓ your location. So it's it's just just too little too late, man. I think they're actually coming up the the I think they're coming up the stairs now. So we'll go we'll go ahead and ⁓ hey man, that's out the mub, man. With this this might actually be the last episode ever. ⁓ my my my co host here might need ⁓ might be on the look for a new new one. ⁓ Thomas: I didn't say anything. Free me out. Malcolm: You know, not sure how this this is gonna end up for for my boy, but ⁓ yeah, man, I think Thomas: Hey. Shout shout out to everybody overseas, man. Help me out, man. Help me out. ⁓ you know, I think hey, hey, hey, they said they giving out citizenship to black Americans in Ghana. Where my Ghanaians, please. ⁓ my black Australians, my brother, please. Malcolm: Overseas, yeah, yeah. Yeah, no. Hey, no, actually no.
