- 1:33Speaker 2: is great. If you are on Facebook, come and find it.
- 1:38Speaker 2: It's Facebook dot Com slash groups slash Girls Gone Hallmark.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Guys are welcome to Yes, we're the girls.
- 1:46Speaker 4: We are the girls in the Girls and many of
- 1:49Speaker 4: the guys in the group are some of the most engaged.
- 1:52Speaker 2: So agree.
- 1:53Speaker 4: I have follow up from a recent episode, okay, in
- 1:58Speaker 4: our Countdown to Christmas preview, which if you haven't listened,
- 2:00Speaker 4: it dropped late Friday evening last week, so go give
- 2:05Speaker 4: that a listen on an unexpected day you might not
- 2:07Speaker 4: have been waiting for it. There is a movie from
- 2:12Speaker 4: the Countdown to Christmas season that is called Heaven Down
- 2:16Speaker 4: Here and it is based on a song by the
- 2:19Speaker 4: artist to Mickey Guiton And in the episode, one of
- 2:22Speaker 4: us said, oh, do you know who that is? And
- 2:23Speaker 4: we said no and we moved on. Well, someone commented
- 2:27Speaker 4: on Facebook and they were like, multi Grammy nominated black
- 2:33Speaker 4: country artist doesn't ring a bell.
- 2:35Speaker 2: And I said, no, it doesn't.
- 2:37Speaker 4: But then I went to listen to her Spotify and
- 2:42Speaker 4: she's got a beautiful voice.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Mickey Guiten is a woman Mickey Guitden is a woman.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Okays that news to me too.
- 2:49Speaker 4: She has done collapse with Caine Brown with Maroon five.
- 2:56Speaker 4: Give her Spotify a listen, So thank you for educating us.
- 3:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Good.
- 3:01Speaker 4: Honestly, when I heard Mickey Guiden, I was like, oh,
- 3:04Speaker 4: this is some old timey the same folk songs are,
- 3:08Speaker 4: but it is not cool and if you like country music,
- 3:11Speaker 4: which I do, I replied to the comment like it
- 3:13Speaker 4: kind of tracks that I didn't know who this person
- 3:15Speaker 4: was because I famously don't know who anybody is. Yeah,
- 3:17Speaker 4: and the music biz. So it's a reflection on me,
- 3:21Speaker 4: not on them. So that's the update there.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Cool. Let's talk some Hallmark news and notes. Yes, ma'am
- 3:29Speaker 2: breaking news. We are recording this on Monday morning. This
- 3:33Speaker 2: episode is going to drop on Thursday, but as of
- 3:36Speaker 2: last night Sunday, the writer's strike has come to an end.
- 3:42Speaker 2: So exciting for them. It's very exciting. I saw some
- 3:45Speaker 2: of our favorite Hallmark writers, you know, I'm in and
- 3:49Speaker 2: Julie Sherman and Tracy Andreine were on Zoom makes Me
- 3:55Speaker 2: So Happy Pop and Champagne. Yes, I was like, that
- 3:57Speaker 2: is so cute, and I I really was. I'm a
- 4:01Speaker 2: details person.
- 4:01Speaker 4: So I was sitting around thinking like what a sigh
- 4:04Speaker 4: of relief, but then also like, Okay, now I gotta.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Get started again. I don't think these people were like
- 4:10Speaker 2: riding in a downtime.
- 4:12Speaker 4: I'm sure they were, but they got to sell this stuff.
- 4:15Speaker 4: They gotta get jobs, they gotta get all these projects
- 4:18Speaker 4: were put on hold. It's like you gotta hit the
- 4:20Speaker 4: ground running now. Yeah, but I'm excited for them.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Okay, I have some Hallmark adjacent t Okay. I have
- 4:30Speaker 2: started listening to a new podcast called Oldish, and I'm
- 4:34Speaker 2: going to talk about this podcast in depth over on
- 4:37Speaker 2: our Patreon when we cover.
- 4:38Speaker 4: Pop Culture Club, which is next week. You can get
- 4:41Speaker 4: a seven day free trial at patreon dot com. Slash
- 4:44Speaker 4: Megan and Wendy. It's a good time over there.
- 4:47Speaker 2: I wasn't trying to self promote. I just wanted I was.
- 4:51Speaker 2: You can give us some backstory here on this podcast.
- 4:53Speaker 2: It is hosted by Brian Austin Green from Beverly Hills
- 4:58Speaker 2: nine to two one zero Yes, his current partner, SHAWNA
- 5:02Speaker 2: Burgess a dancer, Way for It, and Randy Spelling, Tori's
- 5:08Speaker 2: her brother. Okay, I'm going to talk more about that
- 5:11Speaker 2: on Patreon. What I want to talk about is the
- 5:15Speaker 2: tea that was spilled. Did she dance with driver Donovan? Sorry,
- 5:18Speaker 2: I'm sorry, I'm sorry. She she has not been asked
- 5:23Speaker 2: back for this season, okay, And she explained why she
- 5:29Speaker 2: thinks that. In this conversation that she was explaining is
- 5:33Speaker 2: that she alluded to having a terrible partner experience with
- 5:38Speaker 2: her partner from season twenty nine. She never named him specifically,
- 5:43Speaker 2: but recets indicate that it's Jesse Metcalf. Oh no. She
- 5:49Speaker 2: said things like quote, I couldn't be alone with him. Yeah.
- 5:54Speaker 2: I thought it was like I was like, whoa, these
- 5:56Speaker 2: are some allegations, like I don't know what the situation is. Well,
- 6:00Speaker 2: Jesse Metcalf has responded, and he says no comment. Oh no,
- 6:05Speaker 2: So I'm going to leave a link in our show
- 6:07Speaker 2: notes to a People magazine article all about it. But
- 6:11Speaker 2: I was like, wow, I can't believe, like.
- 6:13Speaker 4: The teeth pipe or not, it is right. Well, I
- 6:17Speaker 4: almost don't want to start talking about murdering g major,
- 6:20Speaker 4: But well, I.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Got two more. I got two more great homework news
- 6:22Speaker 2: and note great Holly Robinson p recently had major shoulder surgery,
- 6:29Speaker 2: which is a bummer to have. But I realize she
- 6:34Speaker 2: is not in any countdown of Christmas movies, is it?
- 6:36Speaker 2: What the hell? It's a bummer. I mean maybe like
- 6:40Speaker 2: not right now, like she couldn't do anything right now,
- 6:43Speaker 2: but earlier this year she could have. I don't know.
- 6:46Speaker 2: She's just like such a home staple to me. It's
- 6:49Speaker 2: like she's missing Listen to this. I loled when I
- 6:53Speaker 2: read this. Great American Family announced on September eighteenth that
- 6:57Speaker 2: they have twenty Christmas movies this season, with its first
- 7:00Speaker 2: premiering on October twenty first, all the usual Great American
- 7:06Speaker 2: Family suspects will star, as well as a few homework railers.
- 7:10Speaker 2: That made me go, hmmmmm. Christopher Russell is in two
- 7:15Speaker 2: movies for gaff no comment this holiday. I just thought
- 7:19Speaker 2: it was so weird. Yeah, but this is what this
- 7:23Speaker 2: is what really made me laugh. In a recent interview
- 7:25Speaker 2: with Bill Abbott, he commented on how difficult it is
- 7:29Speaker 2: to add diversity to their movies because quote, we do
- 7:33Speaker 2: a lot of production in Canada. I don't even know
- 7:37Speaker 2: why we're doing this Man in the airtime.
- 7:38Speaker 4: No.
- 7:39Speaker 2: I thought it was so funny. I was like, are
- 7:41Speaker 2: you telling me there is no people of color in Canada.
- 7:44Speaker 4: What no, excuse me, No, No.
- 7:46Speaker 2: There's no gay people in Canada. There's no wheelchair users exactly.
- 7:53Speaker 2: He's like, we're trying so hard, but Canada makes it
- 7:57Speaker 2: difficult for us, so hard, but we're homophobic and super racist,
- 8:00Speaker 2: so it's not easy. Oh my god, I laughed. I
- 8:04Speaker 2: will leave a link to it in our show notes.
- 8:07Speaker 4: I'm going to choose to believe that many of those
- 8:09Speaker 4: movies are acquisitions, and these people weren't actively making movies
- 8:12Speaker 4: that they knew were going to appear.
- 8:13Speaker 2: On gaff Alah. Jody Sweeten Indeed, Yeah, she's got a
- 8:17Speaker 2: movie maybe this week that came.
- 8:19Speaker 4: Out that she came out and said she was disappointed
- 8:22Speaker 4: by that, and she did not have that information when
- 8:25Speaker 4: making the movie.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Yes, and has pledged to donate any money she makes
- 8:29Speaker 2: from that movie going forward to LGBTQ organizations. Yeah, I
- 8:35Speaker 2: love it, Queen Jody Sweeten. Love it. Now we can
- 8:39Speaker 2: move on to Murder in g Major. Let's hear a
- 8:42Speaker 2: synopsis former orchestra conductor, because I don't even get so
- 8:49Speaker 2: many brown I even want to say it, guest Semini.
- 8:52Speaker 2: She moves to Ireland to teach at a boarding school.
- 8:55Speaker 2: After deciphering a musical message, she meets a renowned poser's
- 9:00Speaker 2: ghost who is rumored to be behind the death of
- 9:03Speaker 2: his lover. Okay, let's hop into news and notes. Can
- 9:06Speaker 2: I just say, like, there's a podcast that I listen
- 9:10Speaker 2: to and it's co hosted and one of the hosts
- 9:14Speaker 2: is not a great speaker, and it drives me crazy
- 9:17Speaker 2: and I am that person in my head, dude.
- 9:22Speaker 4: This movie was based on the novel Murder in g
- 9:24Speaker 4: Major Against Semony Brown Mystery by Alexia Gordon. It's the
- 9:28Speaker 4: first in a series of five books. Do you think
- 9:30Speaker 4: this is going to become a series of movies?
- 9:33Speaker 2: Oh, let's talk about it in a minute. Okay. The
- 9:36Speaker 2: script was written by Arthur Van Delay. He has no
- 9:41Speaker 2: other writing credits. According to IMDb, Welcome Arthur. Your ghost
- 9:47Speaker 2: is freaking hilarious. This was filmed on location in Wicklow, Ireland,
- 9:51Speaker 2: which is south of Dublin. I just love it. Have
- 9:54Speaker 2: you been to this area of Ireland? Not Wicklow?
- 9:57Speaker 4: When I've been to Dublin and honestly don't come for
- 10:00Speaker 4: me Irish people, but lots of Ireland looks the same.
- 10:02Speaker 4: But this is a beautiful area.
- 10:05Speaker 2: It was very pretty and her house was like super cute.
- 10:07Speaker 3: Loved it.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Yeah, of course. This movie stars Tamara Maury Houseley as Gets. Look,
- 10:15Speaker 2: I'm just gonna call her Gets because I'm not going
- 10:17Speaker 2: to trip over her name the entire episode. Okay. She
- 10:20Speaker 2: has thirty six acts. She has thirty six acting credits,
- 10:22Speaker 2: including most recently Dream Moms, which premiered earlier this year.
- 10:27Speaker 4: Uh.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Noticeably absent from this year's Countdown to Christmas as well. Hmmm.
- 10:32Speaker 4: Restarred Cooper stars as Aman. He's a comedian, writer, actor
- 10:36Speaker 4: and singer who has mainly worked on stage, but has
- 10:39Speaker 4: been in several popular UK series such as No Offense,
- 10:43Speaker 4: Quiz and Delicious. He has also acted in Christopher Nolan's
- 10:48Speaker 4: acclaimed movie Batman Returns Batman.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Begins thank You. I couldn't tell you the difference between
- 10:56Speaker 2: Batman Returns and Batman Begins Nope, me either, just that
- 11:00Speaker 2: it starts Batman. Adam Fergus plays Inspector O'Reilly. Frigus has
- 11:06Speaker 2: thirty one acting credits, and it has appeared on shows
- 11:09Speaker 2: such as Supernatural and Scandal. Welcome Back.
- 11:12Speaker 4: Marco Grizzini he plays Griff. He has forty nine acting credits.
- 11:15Speaker 4: Including hearts in the game and right in front of me.
- 11:18Speaker 4: He's also in thirty three episodes of Virgin River on Netflix,
- 11:23Speaker 4: which has been renewed for season six.
- 11:27Speaker 2: Again, do I need to watch this show? It's entertaining,
- 11:32Speaker 2: it's a little slow. Is this set in current day? Yes? Okay,
- 11:37Speaker 2: it's like a I will say Canadians like a.
- 11:40Speaker 4: Small town and a woman moves there. She's a doctor
- 11:46Speaker 4: or physicians assistant. She's had like a tragedy in her
- 11:48Speaker 4: own life and she moves there kind of to start over.
- 11:51Speaker 4: And there's all these like small town characters. And Marco
- 11:56Speaker 4: Grizzini plays a bad guy on the show.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Oh thank you that. Yeah.
- 12:00Speaker 4: People say it's Hallmark adjacent, but it's like it's grittier
- 12:03Speaker 4: than Hallmark.
- 12:04Speaker 2: I need gritty. It's not Showtime gritty, but it's grittier
- 12:07Speaker 2: than Hallmark. Okay. And there's like a lot of.
- 12:10Speaker 4: Like love triangles, and it's an entertaining show.
- 12:14Speaker 2: It's not fast paced. Yeah, that's that's what I'm afraid of.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Are you ready for first impressions? Yeah? This was giving
- 12:22Speaker 2: me huge the Ghost Whisperer vibes, and I loved that show.
- 12:27Speaker 2: I don't know the Ghost Whisperer Get Out. It was
- 12:30Speaker 2: on CBS. It has Jennifer love Hewett in it. Oh no,
- 12:32Speaker 2: I never watched that. It's really good. Oh I should
- 12:35Speaker 2: see where it's streaming. It's really good. I'm actually gonna
- 12:38Speaker 2: look right now. You might think it might be too
- 12:40Speaker 2: scary though, there's something like some episodes that are kind
- 12:43Speaker 2: of scary. But it's really good on Network TV. It
- 12:46Speaker 2: was on Network TV. How scary? Could it not that scary?
- 12:49Speaker 2: And also it has Ayesha? Is that her name?
- 12:53Speaker 4: Eh?
- 12:53Speaker 2: Tyler? I love her?
- 12:55Speaker 4: It's on Hulu. Four of the seasons are on Hulu. Oh,
- 12:59Speaker 4: here's my impression. Wait, how do you pronounce.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Her name again? Dude? But that was so funny throughout
- 13:05Speaker 2: the movie. No too much? Oh, okay, funny a couple
- 13:07Speaker 2: of times. I haven't notes about it. I have notes
- 13:09Speaker 2: about it. I have notes about it. All right, let's
- 13:11Speaker 2: talk about what we liked, Okay? Can I start first? Yeah?
- 13:14Speaker 2: Of course I fell asleep watching it the first time, Yes,
- 13:16Speaker 2: of course I did. But when I watched it the
- 13:19Speaker 2: second time, I thought it was really entertaining. Yuh me too.
- 13:23Speaker 2: It wasn't as funny as I anticipated it was going
- 13:27Speaker 2: to be based on the preview.
- 13:29Speaker 4: Yeah, it's not constantly like a laugh a minute, no,
- 13:33Speaker 4: but it has some funny moment.
- 13:35Speaker 2: My daughter came in during the scene when there was
- 13:38Speaker 2: like weapons, oh, and she's like, this doesn't look like
- 13:41Speaker 2: a Hallmark movie, and I was like, movies and mysteries, babe,
- 13:44Speaker 2: this isn't the this isn't the Hallmark original stuff. We
- 13:47Speaker 2: get real murdery over here. I loved the ghost.
- 13:49Speaker 4: I thought he had the best lines in the whole movie.
- 13:52Speaker 4: He says, you're standing in a literal triangle.
- 13:55Speaker 2: To gets when she's like with her two dudes. It's great.
- 13:58Speaker 2: I loved him.
- 13:58Speaker 4: There was so much heart to his characters, and like
- 14:01Speaker 4: the kind of loving role he got to play with Getz.
- 14:05Speaker 4: I loved him, and I loved that he came back
- 14:08Speaker 4: briefly at the end.
- 14:09Speaker 2: I had thoughts on that too. I mean, look, it's
- 14:12Speaker 2: a tucking sorry corporeal ghost, so we've got to suspend
- 14:18Speaker 2: our disbelief a little bit. Fine, but I have thoughts. Okay,
- 14:22Speaker 2: I like that our leading lady was being pursued by
- 14:25Speaker 2: two dudes. Mmm. I don't see the chemistry between her
- 14:29Speaker 2: and griff. I just don't see it at all, but
- 14:31Speaker 2: she and Inspector Riley I thought had some sparks and
- 14:36Speaker 2: shout out to Adam Fergus his eyes whoop. He reminded
- 14:40Speaker 2: me of Patrick Dempsey.
- 14:42Speaker 4: Oh well, I'm also team inspector O'Reilly.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Oh really? And here's why I like.
- 14:48Speaker 4: The love triangle in this movie. At first, I thought
- 14:52Speaker 4: maybe Marco Grizini's character Griff is the bad guy because
- 14:55Speaker 4: we've got two love interests.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Obviously she cannot end up with both of them.
- 14:58Speaker 4: And then I remembered where we we're on movies and mysteries,
- 15:01Speaker 4: where we want to create a franchise.
- 15:03Speaker 2: We don't want to give everything away.
- 15:05Speaker 4: In the first movie, we needed to leave us wanting more.
- 15:08Speaker 4: And so while I don't think Griff is her end game,
- 15:12Speaker 4: I like the left triangle. I like the unknown direction
- 15:15Speaker 4: we're going here.
- 15:16Speaker 2: Did they explain why he was there in Ireland? I
- 15:19Speaker 2: don't remember either. I thought Gets was so great with
- 15:25Speaker 2: the students, and at times there were shots where she
- 15:29Speaker 2: had like full tears in her eyes that looked so
- 15:32Speaker 2: believable to me. I just think she's a really great actress.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Anything else you like? I really liked this movie.
- 15:40Speaker 4: I loved the setting in Ireland. You know, I don't
- 15:43Speaker 4: want to lean to heavily on the setting, but I
- 15:45Speaker 4: like an Irish movie shot in Ireland looked like Ireland,
- 15:48Speaker 4: made me happy. Loved the old morning school in her
- 15:51Speaker 4: cool house. When it comes to a mystery series, which
- 15:55Speaker 4: this isn't yet, but I think that's always their goal,
- 15:59Speaker 4: especially when you're working on a novel that had multiple
- 16:02Speaker 4: stories to begin with. I find the first movies can
- 16:05Speaker 4: be a little bit challenging because there are so many characters.
- 16:09Speaker 4: I know we're not in what we wished for, but
- 16:11Speaker 4: I think that's what makes the series so full in
- 16:14Speaker 4: many cases. But in the first movie, it's like I
- 16:16Speaker 4: got to meet all of these characters and then I
- 16:18Speaker 4: got to figure out who they are because there's some
- 16:20Speaker 4: who done it here, and so I enjoy that richness
- 16:26Speaker 4: of it, but it also is a little challenging for me.
- 16:29Speaker 4: I need a spreadsheet of who all the characters are
- 16:33Speaker 4: and how they're related to each other.
- 16:34Speaker 2: That's interesting that you say that, because I did have
- 16:37Speaker 2: that note initially in my wish for and then I
- 16:40Speaker 2: got rid of it because I was like, am I
- 16:41Speaker 2: a dummy who wasn't paying attention? Like there were like
- 16:45Speaker 2: the two like kind of ex juvenile cons right, and
- 16:51Speaker 2: then there was who else. There was the fan, the
- 16:55Speaker 2: super fan, and then there was the doctor. But I
- 16:58Speaker 2: did think like each of those actors kind of looked alike,
- 17:02Speaker 2: like the two bad guys kind of looked alike. But
- 17:05Speaker 2: then I just didn't want people to be like, hey, dummy,
- 17:08Speaker 2: pay attention to the movies and then maybe you won't
- 17:12Speaker 2: get so confused by the cast of characters. Yeah, I
- 17:15Speaker 2: hear you. I didn't see the doctor coming. Oh well,
- 17:18Speaker 2: in my second rewatch, it was obvious to me because
- 17:22Speaker 2: I had woken up at the end of the movie,
- 17:24Speaker 2: like when she's like with the gun and all that stuff,
- 17:26Speaker 2: and I was like, so, I know who did it.
- 17:28Speaker 4: I always find that ending moment that we get in
- 17:30Speaker 4: these mystery movies where there's like a threat of violence.
- 17:33Speaker 4: It's always so thrilling to me, I know, because.
- 17:35Speaker 2: It's unaggreested, familiar. I mean, we're not like it's not
- 17:39Speaker 2: I'm like, it's and they've got a gun. Yeah, it's scary.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Marco Christini was in this movie, wasn't he. Yeah? I mean,
- 17:48Speaker 2: how incredibly underused was he in this movie? I know,
- 17:53Speaker 2: the dude had ten lines maybe yeah, justice for Griff. Well,
- 17:57Speaker 2: I was like, okay, obviously they're gonna set this up
- 18:00Speaker 2: for future episodes hopefully, But I was like, to me,
- 18:04Speaker 2: the lead of this movie was the guy that played
- 18:07Speaker 2: the ghost for sure, one thousand percent right, yes, And
- 18:10Speaker 2: I felt like they promoted it as like Tamara Mawori
- 18:15Speaker 2: and Marco Grizzini. You know, dude was hardly in the movie,
- 18:19Speaker 2: which whatever, fine, like he will be in future episodes, but.
- 18:23Speaker 4: Yeah, does this mean okay, so it's a haunted Harmony
- 18:26Speaker 4: mystery is the series. I'm curious if the rest of
- 18:29Speaker 4: the books are set in Ireland, because Tamara and Griff
- 18:33Speaker 4: are Americans living in Ireland for this marriage. If we
- 18:36Speaker 4: have one real amusement when he gets and Griff are
- 18:40Speaker 4: characters living in Americans living in Ireland. Huh, then you've
- 18:43Speaker 4: got the Inspector. Are the rest of our movies gonna
- 18:46Speaker 4: be set in Ireland or could we see them relocating?
- 18:51Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 18:52Speaker 4: I'm gonna be sad to say goodbye if they have
- 18:54Speaker 4: to say goodbye to Inspector.
- 18:55Speaker 2: O'Reilly, I know, But then like that, I feel like
- 18:58Speaker 2: they're setting it up at the when he comes back,
- 19:01Speaker 2: this isn't my did you see that? But they've already
- 19:04Speaker 2: said they're goodbyes, right, she has said goodbye to Aimen
- 19:07Speaker 2: and what was the orla? Orla? They like move on,
- 19:11Speaker 2: they're transitioning out of Lumbo to like wherever they're going, right.
- 19:14Speaker 2: But then at the end, she's on the beach and
- 19:16Speaker 2: here comes the ghost again, who you think has passed on,
- 19:20Speaker 2: and he's like, I've got some friends that would really
- 19:22Speaker 2: like to meet you, which is great. Set it up.
- 19:24Speaker 2: She's gonna be the Ghost Whisperer and the other movies, right, Yeah,
- 19:28Speaker 2: So I think if he's got a bunch of Irish friends,
- 19:32Speaker 2: that they should continue this series in Ireland. I hope
- 19:35Speaker 2: they do continue in Ireland.
- 19:37Speaker 4: Is it his friends or is it like people he's
- 19:39Speaker 4: met in the beyond that have friends? Yeah, like people
- 19:42Speaker 4: that have unfinished business that they need.
- 19:44Speaker 2: Her help with, exactly just like Ghost whisper Oh, back
- 19:47Speaker 2: to Marco. Did you see him come in so hot?
- 19:52Speaker 2: When she like pulls back the tarp on the truck
- 19:56Speaker 2: to see like the potential weapon, and like Seamus comes
- 20:02Speaker 2: out and he's like what are you doing Heather? And
- 20:04Speaker 2: like Griff comes in like super hot and it was like,
- 20:06Speaker 2: get away from her. That worked for you. No, I
- 20:09Speaker 2: just was like it was overkill. Oh, I just thought
- 20:13Speaker 2: I thought his character was overkilled a lot.
- 20:15Speaker 4: Like the first introduction we have to him is like,
- 20:17Speaker 4: could you close the door because your freaking one note
- 20:20Speaker 4: on your violin.
- 20:20Speaker 2: Was too loud? Yeah? I was like, oh and your
- 20:23Speaker 2: door was.
- 20:23Speaker 4: She played one note and subtle down.
- 20:27Speaker 2: It's not like that hasn't always been a music room,
- 20:30Speaker 2: right mm hmm, Okay, do you have any other wishes? Oh? Yeah, oh,
- 20:34Speaker 2: go ahead.
- 20:35Speaker 4: And there's too much emphasis on guests some many winning
- 20:37Speaker 4: the choir competition. The choir leader can only do so
- 20:41Speaker 4: much if the students aren't talented, like they put like, oh,
- 20:44Speaker 4: we've hired this choir leader and she's gonna lead us
- 20:47Speaker 4: to win the competition. Eh, that's not really fair, Like
- 20:51Speaker 4: she doesn't know what she's working with. She didn't recruit
- 20:53Speaker 4: these students.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Yeah, how much can she do in the span of
- 20:55Speaker 2: a semester? Do you think they should have just had
- 20:58Speaker 2: her come be a new teacher at the school. Yeah,
- 21:01Speaker 2: they just didn't need that, Like i'm your many of
- 21:03Speaker 2: the choir. Yeah, well, I mean the competition was fine
- 21:06Speaker 2: because I think her relationship with her students was nice
- 21:08Speaker 2: and seeing like her ability to communicate with them and
- 21:12Speaker 2: find their hidden talents. I thought that was meaningful to
- 21:15Speaker 2: the story. But they over and over like it's on
- 21:18Speaker 2: the front page of the newspaper new a choir teacher
- 21:20Speaker 2: will lead us to victory, like it's the small town
- 21:22Speaker 2: football coach. I thought that was unnecessary. And finally, I'm sorry,
- 21:27Speaker 2: but I hate the name of this movie. I had
- 21:28Speaker 2: to look it up every single time. It's too many words.
- 21:32Speaker 2: It's too hard, Haunted, harmony, mysteries, it's too hard. I
- 21:35Speaker 2: can't I'm sorry, it's not fair.
- 21:38Speaker 4: I just don't like it.
- 21:40Speaker 1: It bucked me.
- 21:41Speaker 2: I'm crabby. I just didn't like it. You are crabby today.
- 21:44Speaker 4: And it's way too harmony isn't haunted, and it's it's like, yeah,
- 21:49Speaker 4: the adjective isn't thrilled?
- 21:50Speaker 2: Yeah, got you. That's all. Well, it's way too long
- 21:55Speaker 2: for SEO too, So I'm just putting murder in g
- 21:58Speaker 2: major on our stuff, on our stuff. Okay, I have
- 22:02Speaker 2: a huge list of digit see that.
- 22:04Speaker 4: Wow, I only have one A so go first. How
- 22:07Speaker 4: many times must they have had to stop and start
- 22:09Speaker 4: filming because do you know what it does in Ireland.
- 22:12Speaker 4: It rains, oh constantly, and in fact there's one point
- 22:16Speaker 4: where you can see the sky and this guy's like
- 22:18Speaker 4: black in the distance and they spend a lot of
- 22:20Speaker 4: time outside and girlfriend's like always on our bike, and
- 22:22Speaker 4: like a bike is a terrible mode of transfer for
- 22:25Speaker 4: Ireland because you're going to be wet. Like one time
- 22:27Speaker 4: they're like, oh, it's going to rain, put your bike
- 22:28Speaker 4: in the boot. Linda Lisa is not credited as the
- 22:32Speaker 4: director on IMDb, although I do believe that she is
- 22:35Speaker 4: the director of this movie and the in the Twitter
- 22:39Speaker 4: account one Kiss Means Forever tweeted, how is it not
- 22:42Speaker 4: rained in this entire movie? It's a very rainy place,
- 22:44Speaker 4: and Linda Lisa responded, oh it rained, believe me. So anyway,
- 22:49Speaker 4: I need some rain, So not Ireland tells rain it on?
- 22:51Speaker 2: You got it? Tell me? Or did you see that
- 22:54Speaker 2: student Rhanne Ryan Rhann. Yeah, he wore glasses and I
- 22:59Speaker 2: could see a green light reflected in the lenses of
- 23:02Speaker 2: his glasses, So the green light is either on the
- 23:04Speaker 2: camera or something. I could see it. Every time they
- 23:07Speaker 2: showed him. I was like, huh, that's funny. Non reflective
- 23:10Speaker 2: lenses ran, Yeah, dude, when Seamus had broken into her
- 23:13Speaker 2: house and runs out. Remember, yes, okay, he runs right
- 23:19Speaker 2: past Amen and I think dude could have totally grabbed him.
- 23:23Speaker 2: And then I was like, oh wait, he's a ghost.
- 23:29Speaker 2: Such a just watched him go by, just watched him.
- 23:32Speaker 2: I'm like, did you not he ran right past you? Yeah,
- 23:34Speaker 2: it was just he did smash doctor Lady's fingers on
- 23:37Speaker 2: the piano. He did, so he has some sort of
- 23:40Speaker 2: likely in the piano. Oh yeah, did you watch this
- 23:46Speaker 2: movie with subtitles? O? Yes, So all the mispronunciations of
- 23:52Speaker 2: her name that bugged you, they were so funny when
- 23:54Speaker 2: they were spelled out.
- 23:55Speaker 4: Sometimes when they would say like get Sammy and yes,
- 23:58Speaker 4: yes I get some money with that, that is funny.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Yes, but you just hated it that. I thought it
- 24:05Speaker 2: was too much. It's interesting, like I've never heard that
- 24:09Speaker 2: name before, and it's interesting that an author who would
- 24:13Speaker 2: write a book with a character with such a difficult
- 24:15Speaker 2: name to say. And then I'm surprised Howmark didn't change it.
- 24:20Speaker 2: These are just sort of related. Tamara, Maori Howsley has
- 24:25Speaker 2: a red string on her wrist. Did you notice did
- 24:29Speaker 2: you google too? Like? Is she Kabbala, but I don't
- 24:32Speaker 2: think she is.
- 24:32Speaker 4: No.
- 24:33Speaker 2: I found an article from her blog actually that gave
- 24:37Speaker 2: the origin of the red bracelets. It is not related
- 24:40Speaker 2: to Kabala. Instead, it holds a special significance in her family,
- 24:45Speaker 2: as it was introduced by her grandmother. The grandma would
- 24:48Speaker 2: buy like red yarn and then like bless the yarn,
- 24:51Speaker 2: and then give the bracelets to people in their lives.
- 24:55Speaker 2: And according to their tradition, you wear the bracelet until
- 24:59Speaker 2: it falls off off, and when it falls off it's
- 25:01Speaker 2: believed to bring you good things. Okay, And she this
- 25:03Speaker 2: was like a blog post from many years ago. She
- 25:06Speaker 2: had like a little newborn baby and he had one onto.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Oh yeah, so like it's like a thing in their family. Okay.
- 25:16Speaker 2: Finally when guestemine, did I say it right? We did.
- 25:23Speaker 2: She's handing over their ring to amen, and you can
- 25:26Speaker 2: see she has a tattoo here on the inside of
- 25:29Speaker 2: her wrist that has has makeup on it. Oh, And
- 25:34Speaker 2: I was like, oh, that's because it was almost kind
- 25:35Speaker 2: of like raised. I could see that it was covered
- 25:37Speaker 2: with makeup, but I could see also the tattoo raised
- 25:40Speaker 2: under the makeup, and I was like, I wonder what
- 25:42Speaker 2: it says, So of course I looked it up and
- 25:46Speaker 2: apparently she and her twin sister Tia have matching risk tattoos.
- 25:51Speaker 2: It's a French word jumals j u m e l
- 25:55Speaker 2: l e s And what does it mean? Well, this
- 25:58Speaker 2: is what the article said. It said that the literal
- 26:02Speaker 2: translation means binoculars, but it also means twins. Uh binocular Yeah?
- 26:09Speaker 2: You ready to rate? Yeah? Four stars? I get three
- 26:12Speaker 2: point seventy five. It's good night. I'd watch it next
- 26:13Speaker 2: one me too.
- 26:15Speaker 1: I was.
- 26:15Speaker 2: I was truly interested in like the mystery part of it.
- 26:19Speaker 2: I loved like the ghost element.
- 26:20Speaker 4: Yeah, and I love to like, we don't believe that
- 26:23Speaker 4: Amon would have done.
- 26:24Speaker 2: That to Orla. Yeah. I loved the ghost too.
- 26:26Speaker 4: And I like that we might see that continued. Obviously
- 26:30Speaker 4: it's a haunted Harmony mystery.
- 26:31Speaker 2: We're gonna need more ghosts did. I thought it was
- 26:34Speaker 2: really funny when she goes this is so I don't
- 26:36Speaker 2: know why I'm not mentioning this now. When she goes
- 26:38Speaker 2: in to meet the super fan and the super fans like,
- 26:41Speaker 2: you're from a podcast, are you? That's so funny?
- 26:45Speaker 4: Hey join us next week we'll have special guests on
- 26:48Speaker 4: the podcast, Eric Ruten from Hallmark Mysteries and More podcast

- 26:56Speaker 4: favorite Fall Movies series, So give that movie a watch
- 27:00Speaker 4: to prepare for next week's episode, and in the meantime,
- 27:04Speaker 4: leave us a review five stars. If you please, see
