  MTV Music Channel is no more. They announced it on Monday or

  It's no more. That tells you how much society

  has changed. You'll never see 4 million

  people every weekend. And I even said every weekend at

  single weekend watching NASCAR again, because this is this new

  There's an article out there that says people are watching

  sports now more than ever. And the article goes on to read

  how many channels all sports are on.

  Did you know the NFL, Major League Baseball, NHL soccer, all

  these sports are on all these different channels.

  We're talking 20-30 different channels here.

  We're complaining that NASCAR is on Hulu and Prime and USA

  Network and TNT and Fox and NBC. It's like Jesus.

  But did you know the NFL and Major League Baseball and NHL,

  they're going through the same. It's not just us.

  And one more thing, remember, you know the NHRA drag racing,

  that they had their time to shine, loved it.

  You know NHRA beats NASCAR. Well, have you ever gone over to

  NHRA and see their timeline? Those drag racing fans, they

  moan and groan and they bitch and they it, they're worse than

  NASCAR people. So it's all across the board

  wrapping that little segment up. I want to remind you all that

  what you said to me was you, you were mad that I said NASCAR is

  only going to get 4. You can't get 4 million views.

  Again, maybe the Daytona 500. That's it.

  But I said what I said and then you all got mad.

  I love it. That tells me you all really do

  like NASCAR. Yes, you do.

  Going to switch subjects here. There is a growing fan base that

  is mad that the NASCAR stock car is not a stock car.

  They scream NASCAR needs to get back to a stock car.

  Our cars are not stock cars anymore.

  Well, the first thing I would say to you is that's false.

  They are stock cars and here's why.

  Because Chevrolet, Ford, Toyota, and now Dodge, Stalantis,

  Stalantis, whatever the hell you want to call it, they spend

  millions of dollars a year because the NASCAR stock car

  relates right now to the car on the streets.

  Oh, Oh yes, we had to get rid of the carburetor because they quit

  building that damn thing in the 70s.

  And did you know that I looked at my wife's brand new 2025

  Chevrolet Suburban. I looked underneath of it and

  did you know it has independent suspension all the way around

  it? Did you know the rear of my

  wife's Suburban is just like the rear of a NASCAR stock car?

  Same thing, Independent suspended suspension, wishbone

  upper and lower A frames the Suburban.

  I was shocked too. And these new vehicles are

  really light now. They're light, they look good.

  The new cars are nice, although I think they got a little too

  much gadgetry up there on the dashboard.

  I don't need all that stuff. So I want to remind you all that

  the next Gen. car is independent suspension.

  That's what that's what all the automakers want, because that's

  what they're making for the most part, fuel injected, you know,

  fuel injected just like all the street cars are.

  So when we say stock car, we mean a car like on the street.

  So we all know that the next Gen. was made after the V8

  Australian. Hey, by the way, did you see

  that Bathurst race? Holy crap, what a race.

  Drew a lot of lot of views. And I accidentally found it on

  Racer magazine channel, like, I don't know, Channel 2 something.

  And man, it was a hell of a race.

  They were in the rain. It was a three cars racing for

  the lead on a road course and they couldn't pass each other

  because it was raining and they were bumper to bumper and they

  were died, Mama. But you know, they never touched

  each other. Those guys can race their ass

  off. That Bathhurst race now that's

  once a year. That's that's their Daytona 500.

  OK, so the NASCAR stock car is stock and guys, we can't go back

  the way they build cars anymore. The carburetor is gone for the

  straight axles in the rear, but independent suspension is a way

  a lot of these, you know, rear independent suspension, a lot of

  these cars don't have straight axles anymore.
