- 0:12Speaker 1: God's word, one verse at a time. Now, let's tap
- 0:16Speaker 1: in with your host, mister his.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Hops of the Headquarters. Hello, gets hop, Los Vegas.
- 0:40Speaker 3: Lost another one? Yo?
- 0:56Speaker 4: Yo?
- 0:57Speaker 5: What's up? What's up? What's Henning? Is your brother? This
- 1:00Speaker 5: is his Hot and I want to say, welcome to
- 1:03Speaker 5: another episode of his Hot radio podcast. This is verse
- 1:07Speaker 5: by verse. Today we are continuing the Book of Jeremiah,
- 1:13Speaker 5: chapter nineteen, picking up at verse four. We're gonna take
- 1:18Speaker 5: that all the way to verse nine. Now, in the
- 1:21Speaker 5: previous episode, we saw Jeremiah standing at the valley of
- 1:26Speaker 5: the Son of him Men with a potter's earthen bottom.
- 1:34Speaker 5: God was preparing to give Judah a very serious warning
- 1:39Speaker 5: at this point. Now God explains why judgment was coming.
- 1:46Speaker 5: He gives them the full explanation. The problem wasn't simply
- 1:52Speaker 5: that Judah had made a few mistakes. They had forsaken
- 2:00Speaker 5: God all together. They polluted the land with a dollar tree.
- 2:04Speaker 5: They rejected his commandments and committed practices that were completely
- 2:12Speaker 5: contrary to his will. They were killing and sacrificing babies
- 2:18Speaker 5: to the idle ball bow worship. Now Guy uses broken
- 2:26Speaker 5: bottle as a picture of what was about to happen.
- 2:32Speaker 5: So today's lesson is a serious one. What happens when
- 2:39Speaker 5: people repeatedly reject Guy's warnings and refuse to turn back
- 2:46Speaker 5: to him. So that's what we're going to look at.
- 2:51Speaker 5: That is the question we're going to answer today in
- 2:54Speaker 5: today's episode. But also I want to invite you to
- 2:59Speaker 5: join us in a life chat. This is our online community,
- 3:04Speaker 5: our radio community. We want to call it our small group.
- 3:08Speaker 5: This is the time we gather. We come together, We
- 3:11Speaker 5: pray for each other, we hold each other accountable. We
- 3:15Speaker 5: need some healthy friends that will help us to keep
- 3:20Speaker 5: our hearts right with God. Sometimes it's you know, the
- 3:24Speaker 5: Bible says our heart is even and desperately wicked. Who
- 3:28Speaker 5: can know it? So it's good to have somebody we
- 3:31Speaker 5: can go to and say, you know what that is
- 3:34Speaker 5: not in the word, That is your flesh, or that
- 3:37Speaker 5: is the world that is trying to influence you, or
- 3:40Speaker 5: even the enemy itself is trying to set up shop
- 3:45Speaker 5: in your life. And somebody from the outside looking in
- 3:49Speaker 5: can actually help and pray for you. That's how we
- 3:54Speaker 5: stay strong in numbers. You know, when the lion goes
- 3:57Speaker 5: out to hunt, they don't try to take on the
- 4:00Speaker 5: whole pack. They look for the stragglers. They look for
- 4:04Speaker 5: the ones who stray away. And so when we stay
- 4:07Speaker 5: in fellowship, it helps us even the more. Amen. So
- 4:15Speaker 5: let's go before Father and prayer Heavenly Father, thank you
- 4:18Speaker 5: Father for another opportunity, Father God, to come before you.
- 4:24Speaker 5: Thank you for your grace, thank you for your mercy,
- 4:28Speaker 5: thank you for your goodness. Thank you, Father God for
- 4:32Speaker 5: your love. We ask Lord that you will bless us
- 4:35Speaker 5: in the podcast today. We ask Father, God that you
- 4:38Speaker 5: will bless those who will hear and tune in those
- 4:42Speaker 5: who have been faithful. Oh God, Lord, to show up
- 4:45Speaker 5: and to support. We thank you for each and every
- 4:49Speaker 5: brother and sister. Old God. We ask or that you
- 4:51Speaker 5: use this podcast, Oh Lord, to leave the ninety nine
- 4:55Speaker 5: and to go after the one. Yes, Lord, let this
- 4:59Speaker 5: podcast as reach all over the world, though God places
- 5:05Speaker 5: we may not be able to physically go. Lord, we
- 5:08Speaker 5: send this podcast out as we lift up the mighty
- 5:12Speaker 5: name of Jesus, and guys. People said, Amen and Amen,
- 5:22Speaker 5: all right, well, let's dive right in. So let's look
- 5:28Speaker 5: at verse four together. And I'm going back and forth
- 5:32Speaker 5: from the new King James and the old King James.
- 5:36Speaker 5: So stick with me on this. So verse four says,
- 5:42Speaker 5: because they have forsaken me and made this an alien place,
- 5:50Speaker 5: because they have burned incense in it to other gods
- 5:55Speaker 5: who neither they nor their fathers nor the King of
- 6:00Speaker 5: Judah have known and have filled this place with the
- 6:04Speaker 5: blood of the innocence. Wow, let's break this down, man.
- 6:13Speaker 5: This is a huge case against Judah at this time,
- 6:18Speaker 5: because they have forsaken me. Now, look at what happens
- 6:22Speaker 5: when we forsake God is just by default darkness moves in.
- 6:28Speaker 5: Look at what is happening to our country. We need
- 6:31Speaker 5: to wake up and wake up right now to the
- 6:36Speaker 5: darkness that is creeping on our land, and not only creeping,
- 6:41Speaker 5: the darkness that is already here. Hey man, Now God
- 6:47Speaker 5: begins by explaining why this judgment is coming. He says,
- 6:52Speaker 5: because they have forsaken me. That's the root problem right there.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Now.
- 7:00Speaker 5: They didn't merely just break a few rules or anything
- 7:04Speaker 5: like that. They walked completely away from God. They turned
- 7:11Speaker 5: to other guys and polluted the place where they were
- 7:15Speaker 5: supposed to worship the Lord, where the Lord has placed
- 7:18Speaker 5: his name. Now, Judas problem was fundamentally spiritual. Their outward
- 7:28Speaker 5: actions reflected and inWORD, rejection of God himself. That we
- 7:35Speaker 5: could see that. That's why the Bible tells us that
- 7:38Speaker 5: we could tell by their fruit. Our outward lifestyle is
- 7:44Speaker 5: an indication of what's going on inside our hearts. That
- 7:48Speaker 5: we find ourselves watching pornography or sleeping around, well, there's
- 7:54Speaker 5: lust in our hearts. That's what's happening inside of us. Now,
- 8:01Speaker 5: they had abandoned the Lord and replaced worship of him
- 8:05Speaker 5: with idolatrous practices. Now, this is something we need to
- 8:15Speaker 5: really understand here. Sin isn't merely breaking a rule here
- 8:20Speaker 5: or there. It is on the deepest level, Sin is
- 8:27Speaker 5: I choose my way instead of God's way. Let me
- 8:33Speaker 5: say this again. Sin at his deepest, deepest level is
- 8:41Speaker 5: basically I choose my way instead of God's way. Basically,
- 8:46Speaker 5: you're making yourself your own God. It's idolatry, and that
- 8:54Speaker 5: is what makes it so serious. God wasn't just upset
- 8:59Speaker 5: because you had broken regulations and rules and things like that.
- 9:06Speaker 5: He was dealing with a relationship that had been abandoned.
- 9:14Speaker 5: And we need to ask ourselves. Have I allowed anything
- 9:19Speaker 5: to become more important to me than God? Have I
- 9:26Speaker 5: allowed anything? It could be bills, It could be relationships.
- 9:31Speaker 5: It could be your spouse, It could be your children.
- 9:35Speaker 5: It can be problems, It could be good things. It
- 9:37Speaker 5: could be ministry, it could be church. It could be
- 9:41Speaker 5: this podcast. It could be anything that is more important
- 9:47Speaker 5: to you than God can potentially become an idol, all right?
- 9:58Speaker 5: Verse five. They have also built the high places of
- 10:04Speaker 5: Bao to burn their suns with fire for burnt offerings
- 10:11Speaker 5: to Bow, which I did not command, nor speak, nor
- 10:16Speaker 5: did it come into my mind. Now, this is God Almighty,
- 10:22Speaker 5: and God cannot lie. How in the world could something
- 10:27Speaker 5: exist that never came into God's mind that versus all
- 10:31Speaker 5: It has always blown me away. It's like something outside
- 10:37Speaker 5: of the mind of God came into existence that that
- 10:42Speaker 5: just that just blows me away, right, all right. So
- 10:49Speaker 5: they've built also the high places to bow. Now, God
- 10:58Speaker 5: says Judah had built high places for bow to burn
- 11:03Speaker 5: their children as offerings. This is what I've been mentioning,
- 11:10Speaker 5: This is what I've been saying. Now we as America,
- 11:15Speaker 5: we may be more sophisticated than this. Look at the
- 11:19Speaker 5: abortion rate, look at who we are sacrificing our children
- 11:27Speaker 5: up to Satan's agenda has never changed. Why would you
- 11:32Speaker 5: want to kill children at the altar? This is one
- 11:41Speaker 5: of the darkest practices described in the Old Testament. They
- 11:46Speaker 5: had taken something God created for life and turned it
- 11:51Speaker 5: into an act of worship towards a false God. Could
- 11:58Speaker 5: you imagine? I can't even imagine. And what I've heard
- 12:02Speaker 5: what was described about this particular practice is that they
- 12:09Speaker 5: would have an idol of ball, and his arms would
- 12:13Speaker 5: be stretched out and his hands would be turned up upwards,
- 12:19Speaker 5: and they would keep this thing to where it was
- 12:22Speaker 5: glowing hot, and they would put their children on this thing,
- 12:27Speaker 5: burn them to death. And they would play drums so
- 12:31Speaker 5: loud to where the drums would drown out the cry
- 12:34Speaker 5: of the child. Who knows the age I'm hoping at
- 12:40Speaker 5: least like young enough to where they don't know what's
- 12:44Speaker 5: going on, right, at least that much. I can't imagine
- 12:50Speaker 5: a toddler or someone who is conscious of the situation.
- 12:54Speaker 5: You know what I'm saying that that is despicable. This
- 12:58Speaker 5: is say and beloved, this is what happens when we
- 13:03Speaker 5: choose to worship demons. The crews a lot of the crimes,
- 13:10Speaker 5: the heinous crimes in society. A lot of police departments
- 13:15Speaker 5: find satanic worship behind it. They find rituals, they find
- 13:23Speaker 5: satanic paraphernalia when they investigate. It is very demonic and cruel.
- 13:31Speaker 5: Satan and his demons hate humanity, and you have to
- 13:36Speaker 5: be demonized in order to do some of these things
- 13:40Speaker 5: that is done in our society. You just have to
- 13:44Speaker 5: be cold hearted and just not care at all.
- 13:49Speaker 3: It looks like you lost another one.
- 13:54Speaker 5: Now this shows you how far ideology can take people.
- 14:00Speaker 5: Now it really starts with I'm going to completely abandon God.
- 14:04Speaker 5: It starts with a little compromise here and there, one step,
- 14:09Speaker 5: and another step, then another. Eventually people can become comfortable
- 14:15Speaker 5: with things they once would have recognized completely wrong. Anybody
- 14:22Speaker 5: in the right mind would know that it is wrong
- 14:25Speaker 5: to sacrifice a child to a demon. Right, But it's
- 14:36Speaker 5: a progress here and there's the Bible says that evil
- 14:43Speaker 5: men will grow worse and worse. We never you notice that,
- 14:47Speaker 5: we never stay where we started to speak of the
- 14:51Speaker 5: drug addict or the alcoholic. It may have started out
- 14:55Speaker 5: something fun, maybe in high school, hanging out with friends,
- 15:01Speaker 5: casual social situation, and then look twenty years later, they're homeless,
- 15:11Speaker 5: they can't hold a job. Some of them have destroyed
- 15:15Speaker 5: their families, their children, life just completely destroyed. They didn't
- 15:20Speaker 5: start off that way. And if you talk to most
- 15:22Speaker 5: people and tell them like, hey, this is where you're
- 15:26Speaker 5: going to end up, they probably would not have taken
- 15:29Speaker 5: that drug or drink that alcohol. Now. Also, it's supposed
- 15:40Speaker 5: to be the same way spiritually. You're supposed to be
- 15:42Speaker 5: closer to God more now than the day that you
- 15:46Speaker 5: received them in your life. You're supposed to progressively grow
- 15:51Speaker 5: stronger and stronger in the spirit. But of course these
- 15:58Speaker 5: are based on our daily decisions and our daily disciplines. Amen.
- 16:05Speaker 5: That's why I encourage everyone to come on the podcast
- 16:08Speaker 5: every day at eleven. That helps develop your spiritual discipline.
- 16:14Speaker 5: You're constantly getting the word. Now. We're not to replace
- 16:17Speaker 5: your devotional time and your intimacy with God, but we
- 16:21Speaker 5: are here as an aid to help you with that. Now,
- 16:28Speaker 5: that's why we have to deal with compromise early. Don't
- 16:32Speaker 5: let a small compromise become a stronghold in our lives. Amen,
- 16:39Speaker 5: and I'm speaking to myself too. Hallelujah. Now, in verse five,
- 16:50Speaker 5: it says which I committed not? God makes something very
- 16:56Speaker 5: clear in this verse. The practices were commanded by him
- 17:01Speaker 5: at all. They were completely contrary to His will. That's
- 17:13Speaker 5: important because people sometimes confuse religious activity with obedience to God.
- 17:21Speaker 5: Just because something is called religious doesn't mean God approves
- 17:25Speaker 5: of it. The question is does this feel spiritual? I mean,
- 17:36Speaker 5: excuse me. The question is not does this feel spiritual?
- 17:39Speaker 5: The question is does this agree with the word of God.
- 17:46Speaker 5: We have to measure everything against the scripture Amen. Verse six. Therefore, behold,
- 17:56Speaker 5: the days are coming, says the Lord, that this place
- 17:59Speaker 5: sh no more be called Top Top fact or the
- 18:06Speaker 5: valley of the Son of him men, but the Valley
- 18:11Speaker 5: of Slaughter. Woo man. That's serious. When God renamed something,
- 18:19Speaker 5: there's always a meaning behind it. Valley of Slaughter. God says,
- 18:25Speaker 5: the day is coming when the place will no longer
- 18:29Speaker 5: be called by its former name. It will be called
- 18:34Speaker 5: the valley of slaughter. Now that is a devastating change
- 18:43Speaker 5: of names, right, I mean, at that point it's time
- 18:47Speaker 5: to pack your bags and move out of this valley.
- 18:50Speaker 5: You know what I'm saying. The very location that had
- 18:54Speaker 5: become associated with rebellion would become associated with judgments that
- 19:06Speaker 5: that is a sobering principle here. Our choices leave a mark.
- 19:14Speaker 5: Places can very well carry memories, right, and also families
- 19:25Speaker 5: can carry consequences. Communities can carry consequences, and sometimes the
- 19:32Speaker 5: consequences of our decisions reach much further than we've expected
- 19:38Speaker 5: them to. That's why wisdom matters because making a decision.
- 19:47Speaker 5: Before you make a decision, ask where could this lead?
- 19:52Speaker 5: Not just what do I want right now? We have
- 19:57Speaker 5: to think about what direction is my life gonna go
- 20:03Speaker 5: if I choose to make this decision. And that's why
- 20:08Speaker 5: I love to tell young people read the Book of Proverbs.
- 20:11Speaker 5: The Book of Proverbs will give you daily wisdom. You
- 20:18Speaker 5: have to follow the path of righteousness. If we intend
- 20:23Speaker 5: to live a life eternal with God. Amen, all right?
- 20:31Speaker 5: Verse seven. And I will make void the counsels of
- 20:40Speaker 5: Judah and Jerusalem in this place, and I will cause
- 20:45Speaker 5: them to fall by the sword before their enemies, and
- 20:49Speaker 5: by the hands of those who seek their lives their corpses.
- 20:55Speaker 5: I will give as meat for the birds of the
- 20:59Speaker 5: heaven and for the beast of the earth. While it
- 21:05Speaker 5: does not pay to rebel against God. God would bring
- 21:10Speaker 5: their plans to nothing. God says that he will make
- 21:14Speaker 5: the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem ineffective. Right, the plans
- 21:22Speaker 5: they have thought would protect them would not save them
- 21:27Speaker 5: at all. Now they would fall by the sword. Their
- 21:32Speaker 5: bodies would become food for the birds. How many times
- 21:37Speaker 5: has God repeated this in his book? Told them over
- 21:41Speaker 5: and over again, this is severe judgment. This is what
- 21:49Speaker 5: it looks like to walk away from God. Now Juda
- 21:54Speaker 5: repeatedly ignored God's warnings, and the consequences would now affect
- 22:02Speaker 5: the way. The very security they believed in would be
- 22:12Speaker 5: taken away from them. And there's something I also want
- 22:19Speaker 5: to bring out. There's something that we can learn here.
- 22:27Speaker 5: Don't build your security on something God never promised to
- 22:32Speaker 5: protect you with, or God never promised to protect. Money
- 22:37Speaker 5: can't guarantee your future. A position can't guarantee your future.
- 22:45Speaker 5: People can't guarantee your future. A political system can't guarantee
- 22:51Speaker 5: your future. Only God is ultimately trustworthy, is the only
- 23:00Speaker 5: one we could put our trust in.
- 23:05Speaker 3: It looks like you lost another one, all right.
- 23:07Speaker 5: Verse eight. I will make the city desolate and a hissing.
- 23:17Speaker 5: Everyone who passes by it will be astonished and hiss
- 23:22Speaker 5: because of all its plagues, now making it a hissing
- 23:32Speaker 5: a desolate city. God says that he will make Jerusalem desolate,
- 23:38Speaker 5: and also in astonishment. Everyone passing by will be shocked
- 23:44Speaker 5: by what happened in this place. Now do you want
- 23:48Speaker 5: that to happen to us? Do we want that to
- 23:52Speaker 5: happen here? In the United States? The city that once
- 23:57Speaker 5: represented God's people would become and testimony of what happens
- 24:03Speaker 5: when people continually reject him. Now this isn't just about destruction,
- 24:14Speaker 5: It's about testimony. People would look at what happened and
- 24:19Speaker 5: ask how did it get this bad? And the answer
- 24:26Speaker 5: was years of rejecting God's warning. That's why we should
- 24:33Speaker 5: never ignore the little warnings that God gives us. Sometimes
- 24:38Speaker 5: we're waiting for some huge sign from heaven, while God
- 24:43Speaker 5: is already speaking through his word. All right, God has
- 24:48Speaker 5: already put the principles in place. God has already warned us,
- 24:58Speaker 5: all right, verse nine, And I will cause them to
- 25:01Speaker 5: eat the flesh of their sons, in the flesh of
- 25:05Speaker 5: their daughters. Now this is disgusting, and everyone shall eat
- 25:11Speaker 5: the flesh of his friend in the siege and in
- 25:16Speaker 5: the then in this version with which their enemies and
- 25:25Speaker 5: those who seek their lives shall drive them to despair,
- 25:32Speaker 5: they will be driven to despair. Now, I don't know,
- 25:35Speaker 5: this is like one of the most disgusting scriptures I've
- 25:40Speaker 5: read in the Bible. And this is pretty serious. This
- 25:44Speaker 5: is like, these are terrible consequences. Verse nine describes an
- 25:49Speaker 5: extreme siege in which the people would become desperate for food. Basically,
- 25:57Speaker 5: the situation will becomes so horrific that people would turn
- 26:02Speaker 5: against one another. This is a consequence of Jerusalem being
- 26:08Speaker 5: surrounded and brought to the point of starvation. Now, when
- 26:14Speaker 5: they would siege a city back then in those days,
- 26:19Speaker 5: they would cut off their supply. They would surround the city,
- 26:25Speaker 5: the army would surround the city, and they was trying
- 26:28Speaker 5: to stop their water supply. They would try to stop
- 26:30Speaker 5: food from coming in, stop them from trading going in
- 26:36Speaker 5: and out, and they would basically starve to death. Back then,
- 26:42Speaker 5: they didn't have refrigerators or anything like that, and they
- 26:47Speaker 5: would get so hungry to they would turn into cannibals.
- 26:52Speaker 5: I mean, this is difficult to read, but that's exactly
- 26:58Speaker 5: why we should and skip over it right. We need
- 27:01Speaker 5: to understand this. The Bible doesn't hide the consequences of rebellion.
- 27:08Speaker 5: It shows us where persistent rejection of God will lead.
- 27:16Speaker 5: We should read this and say that's just and I
- 27:21Speaker 5: mean we shouldn't read it and just say that's just
- 27:23Speaker 5: an old Testament story. We should ask what can I
- 27:27Speaker 5: learn from this? Now? The lesson is it that God
- 27:32Speaker 5: wants people destroyed. The lesson is that sin has consequences,
- 27:41Speaker 5: and God's warnings should take should be taken seriously. When
- 27:47Speaker 5: God warns us, when God gives us a warning, or
- 27:54Speaker 5: when God is instructing, God is telling us change a
- 27:58Speaker 5: certain area of our lives, we need to take that serious.
- 28:03Speaker 5: Can you imagine there are newborn babies being birth daily
- 28:12Speaker 5: in our country? Could you imagine getting so desperate to
- 28:19Speaker 5: where you eat that child. We can't look away from this,
- 28:24Speaker 5: We can't. How many let me ask you this? Let
- 28:27Speaker 5: me know in the comments. And by the way, we
- 28:30Speaker 5: have a new community on the hiss Hot radio app,
- 28:34Speaker 5: and we're gonna jump over there today when we do
- 28:38Speaker 5: the trivia challenge and all that. It's all on the app.
- 28:42Speaker 5: Go to the top left me and you drop down
- 28:44Speaker 5: to community and we're gonna try this one out. We've
- 28:46Speaker 5: tried a couple of communities. I didn't really like the
- 28:51Speaker 5: other two we tried. But this is a new platform today.
- 28:54Speaker 5: Just to let y'all know. But let me know in
- 28:57Speaker 5: the comments. How many have you have gone to church
- 29:01Speaker 5: and heard a sermon where the pastor is preaching about
- 29:07Speaker 5: this topic where parents or eating their own children. I
- 29:13Speaker 5: don't think you're going to hear that. A lot of
- 29:16Speaker 5: pastors try to avoid or stay away from scriptures like these,
- 29:22Speaker 5: but we have to read them and look at them
- 29:24Speaker 5: because we have to understand and have a healthy fear
- 29:30Speaker 5: of God. It's through the fear of the Lord that
- 29:33Speaker 5: men depart from evil. We need to know God's character
- 29:39Speaker 5: and know that God does not play. The Bible says
- 29:43Speaker 5: that every man will be judged according to their works.
- 29:47Speaker 5: The Bible says that hell is so organized to where
- 29:50Speaker 5: your punishment is going to be directly linked to your sin.
- 29:57Speaker 5: I've heard testimonies of people there's like a sexual department
- 30:03Speaker 5: where people who are sexually a moral immoral in life,
- 30:06Speaker 5: where demons are like raping them in and they're talking
- 30:09Speaker 5: about every hole that you could possibly have. These demons
- 30:13Speaker 5: are just raping people, people who are homoseexual, Like there's
- 30:18Speaker 5: men they're being bent over and they're being burnt in flames,
- 30:26Speaker 5: and these demons are in the back. Okay, I mean,
- 30:30Speaker 5: I'm gonna try to keep it PG, but we have
- 30:33Speaker 5: to we have to understand. God says he will judge
- 30:37Speaker 5: every man according to their works. We need to examine
- 30:42Speaker 5: our works. There's a department there that says that gossiping, right,
- 30:49Speaker 5: that these demons are pulling people's tongues so long because
- 30:54Speaker 5: you have a spiritual body, right, and they have like
- 30:58Speaker 5: nails and they're just hammering nails into their tongues. In
- 31:02Speaker 5: his one testimony, this guy said that this demon was
- 31:06Speaker 5: even trying to hit the nail. He was just hitting,
- 31:09Speaker 5: breaking teeth and skulls, like just hitting the mess out
- 31:12Speaker 5: of this other woman because she was a gossiper. Beloved,
- 31:21Speaker 5: God does not play when he says, don't do it,
- 31:24Speaker 5: don't do it. I was in a situation the other
- 31:29Speaker 5: day when these guys were talking about this particular guy
- 31:34Speaker 5: and he was supposed to do a project and he
- 31:39Speaker 5: didn't do it well, and they're asking me, you know,
- 31:43Speaker 5: my opinion of his work, and I was like, well,
- 31:45Speaker 5: you know what. I'm not going to comment. I'm gonna
- 31:47Speaker 5: hold my comments. I look at it like this, I'm
- 31:50Speaker 5: not allowed to gossip. I'm not allowed to. I mean, yeah,
- 31:55Speaker 5: there's nothing wrong with going to the person and saying
- 31:57Speaker 5: you need to correct this or this could have been
- 31:59Speaker 5: done better. But to sit around and mock and make
- 32:03Speaker 5: fun and things like that, that's a no no. So
- 32:13Speaker 5: don't ignore God's warning. Jeremiah nineteen four through nine gives
- 32:19Speaker 5: us several important lessons here. Don't forsake God. Stay close
- 32:25Speaker 5: to him as possible. Amen. Don't allow idols into your life.
- 32:33Speaker 5: Anything can become an idole if it takes God's rightful
- 32:37Speaker 5: place in our hearts. And don't normalize compromise or starts
- 32:45Speaker 5: small can become destructive in the end. Listen when God
- 32:51Speaker 5: corrects you. Correction is an opportunity. Correction is compassion. Reaction
- 33:00Speaker 5: is God loving us. Amen, don't assume God's patience means
- 33:08Speaker 5: he's approving your behavior. His patience gives us time to
- 33:15Speaker 5: repent to get things right. A man, remember that choices
- 33:22Speaker 5: has have consequences. I think beyond the moment. Don't just
- 33:30Speaker 5: think of your immediate gratification. How you might feel or
- 33:35Speaker 5: what you're looking for. You need to learn to deny
- 33:39Speaker 5: ourselves and to put ourselves on the cross so that
- 33:48Speaker 5: we can have a relationship with God. Amen. All right,
- 33:52Speaker 5: time for a break.

- 38:42Speaker 5: hundreds of people who tune in. We want to encourage
- 38:46Speaker 5: you guys. Come on and join us in a live chat.
- 38:51Speaker 5: All you have to do is download that his Hot
- 38:53Speaker 5: radio app Hi s h Op and all platforms in
- 38:57Speaker 5: the top level menus where you're gonna hit everything. So
- 39:00Speaker 5: we have a live chat where we can talk to
- 39:02Speaker 5: each other live during a podcast, and we have a community,
- 39:09Speaker 5: and so we're going to try out a new community today.
- 39:12Speaker 5: So if you're in a live chat. Go ahead and
- 39:16Speaker 5: head over to the community at this point top left
- 39:20Speaker 5: menu and looks towards the bottom, and I don't know,
- 39:24Speaker 5: you might have to log into it. You can set
- 39:28Speaker 5: up your little profile. We would encourage everyone set up

- 39:35Speaker 5: You know, people may know you if you're an artist,
- 39:38Speaker 5: or if you have a ministry, or if you have
- 39:40Speaker 5: a company or something like that. Set up your profile
- 39:44Speaker 5: so people can identify you and know who you are.
- 39:50Speaker 5: And it's our way to kind of show a little
- 39:52Speaker 5: love for your participation. And you're going to find the
- 39:57Speaker 5: question of the day, the Accountability Partner and the trivia
- 40:02Speaker 5: challenge in our community. Now we need your feedback. Out
- 40:07Speaker 5: of all the communities that we've tried out so far,
- 40:11Speaker 5: let me know which one that you are rocking with
- 40:14Speaker 5: the most. All right, so, how is time for the
- 40:19Speaker 5: Accountability Partner. And that's me asking for accountability for these
- 40:24Speaker 5: communities that we're in. So the Accountability Partner this week's
- 40:30Speaker 5: challenges ask your accountability partner, what is one thing in
- 40:35Speaker 5: my life that can become an idle if I'm not careful?
- 40:42Speaker 5: What is one thing in my life that can become
- 40:46Speaker 5: an idle if I'm not careful. I've been listen carefully right,
- 41:00Speaker 5: and you know, don't be defensive and whatever you hear,
- 41:04Speaker 5: pray about the answer. Sometimes somebody else can see something
- 41:09Speaker 5: that we're too close to recognize. And also, if you
- 41:15Speaker 5: want to go further with that, on the app His
- 41:19Speaker 5: Hot Radio, go to the top left menu this time
- 41:23Speaker 5: click on podcasts and click on his Hot Radio podcast
- 41:26Speaker 5: Yours Truly, and then scroll down until you find a
- 41:30Speaker 5: link that says Accountability Partner. And on that link go
- 41:35Speaker 5: over the questions, some very good questions that we could
- 41:40Speaker 5: use to examine ourselves. And also what we want you
- 41:45Speaker 5: to do is once you go over the questions, you know,
- 41:50Speaker 5: you can request to follow up. You can request that
- 41:54Speaker 5: somebody would follow up with you. Somebody can come and
- 41:58Speaker 5: pray with you, and somebody can help you with your
- 42:05Speaker 5: walk with the Lord. Amen. Also, we want to let
- 42:12Speaker 5: you know that his Hot Radio is a monitored in
- 42:15Speaker 5: reporting radio station. If you want to get exposure, if
- 42:19Speaker 5: you want to get your music played on our platform,
- 42:23Speaker 5: go to the website his Hot Nation dot com and
- 42:28Speaker 5: advertise that is what's going to help you move up
- 42:31Speaker 5: the charts as well. There are three different charts that
- 42:35Speaker 5: we report to that. We do have a media Base account,
- 42:39Speaker 5: but we're having issues with that. I know media Base
- 42:43Speaker 5: is like the big charts. We do have an account
- 42:47Speaker 5: with them, but we've been working with some issues, so
- 42:51Speaker 5: we will be back with them as well, but we
- 42:57Speaker 5: want to get our genre at the top of the
- 43:01Speaker 5: charts taking over. Amen. All right, belove, it now is
- 43:12Speaker 5: time to head on over to the I normally say
- 43:19Speaker 5: the live chat, but let's head on over to the
- 43:21Speaker 5: new community page. Hopefully I give you enough time to
- 43:25Speaker 5: log in today, so we're going to try it. And
- 43:29Speaker 5: the good thing is that we can always go back
- 43:31Speaker 5: to the life chat if these other communities, you know
- 43:36Speaker 5: what I'm saying, if we're not feeling them. But so,
- 43:40Speaker 5: here is a trivia challenge for today. The scripture reference
- 43:46Speaker 5: is Jeremiah nineteen, verse five. Read it carefully, then answer
- 43:52Speaker 5: this question, which false God did the people of Judah
- 43:56Speaker 5: build high places for? And what horrific practice does his
- 44:02Speaker 5: verse say that they carried out in those places? Let
- 44:09Speaker 5: me ask you again, which false God did the people
- 44:12Speaker 5: of Judah build high places for? And what horrific practice
- 44:18Speaker 5: does his verse say they carried out there? In those places.
- 44:26Speaker 5: First to post the answer is the trivia champion for today. Also,
- 44:38Speaker 5: we want to give a community shout out this weekend.
- 44:47Speaker 5: We will be at the Resort World. We will be
- 44:49Speaker 5: on the strip, we will provide music. The Mayor of
- 44:54Speaker 5: North Falls, Vegas is going to be there, and the
- 44:57Speaker 5: guy who is over all the libraries in the country
- 45:02Speaker 5: will be there as well. It's how radio will be
- 45:06Speaker 5: in the house and it's pre It is open to
- 45:10Speaker 5: the public. It is a business mixer. We want to
- 45:12Speaker 5: invite everyone to come to it. I've been announcing it
- 45:17Speaker 5: for a while now on the podcast. So if you
- 45:23Speaker 5: don't live in Vegas, hopefully you had enough time to
- 45:25Speaker 5: book a flight or catch the bus out here to Vegas,
- 45:29Speaker 5: so you can come. Definitely, if you're in Vegas, you
- 45:33Speaker 5: need to be here. You need to be in the spots.
- 45:36Speaker 5: It is a great place to network. And we have
- 45:43Speaker 5: other events coming up. September twelfth, we will be at Doolittle.
- 45:49Speaker 5: I have to put all this stuff on the flyer.
- 45:52Speaker 5: Excuse me, because these events are popping up, so our
- 45:56Speaker 5: calendar is not up to date with all these events.
- 46:00Speaker 5: But we're going to get it up to date and
- 46:02Speaker 5: we're going to tell you to head on over to
- 46:03Speaker 5: the his hopmation dot com website to check out all
- 46:09Speaker 5: the activities there and also on the app, there is
- 46:13Speaker 5: a tab that says events. You can also access our
- 46:17Speaker 5: calendar through that as well. And we like to remind
- 46:26Speaker 5: everyone that his High Nation is a nonprofit organization. We
- 46:30Speaker 5: are a five oh one c three. We opened up
- 46:34Speaker 5: a club in twenty twelve at five thousand square foot
- 46:38Speaker 5: the warehouse. We turned it into a Christian hip hop club.
- 46:42Speaker 5: We've had people travel over the years all over the country.
- 46:48Speaker 5: We were able to minister and bless people with the location,
- 46:53Speaker 5: bless our community. But we have become a nonprofit so
- 46:58Speaker 5: that we could get help support from our community so
- 47:02Speaker 5: that we can relaunch or reopen. And we need a
- 47:04Speaker 5: new facility and not only that, we need our headquarters
- 47:11Speaker 5: for our youth programs and other things that we want
- 47:14Speaker 5: to do to bless the community. So if you would
- 47:18Speaker 5: like to support us in that, please send go over
- 47:23Speaker 5: to our website his Hopnation dot com. You can support
- 47:27Speaker 5: us there, You can support us on the app, and
- 47:30Speaker 5: then you can go to our nonprofit website, hiss Hop
- 47:33Speaker 5: Nation dot org. You can get more information on our
- 47:38Speaker 5: youth programs there as well. And the great thing about it,
- 47:43Speaker 5: it is a tax right off to you. Sometimes that
- 47:47Speaker 5: makes a difference between own taxes in getting a return check,
- 47:52Speaker 5: right is we need to get enough deductions, enough write offs,
- 47:57Speaker 5: or you can sew into good ground right here, right
- 48:01Speaker 5: now with his hot nation. I love it well. That
- 48:11Speaker 5: is my time today, and I think I went over
- 48:17Speaker 5: pretty thoroughly, So I don't think that there's a need
- 48:22Speaker 5: for closing remarks. I think we get the picture about
- 48:26Speaker 5: this chapter. Is not good to rebel and walk away
- 48:31Speaker 5: from God. Amen. So let there be a healthy fear
- 48:35Speaker 5: of God in our hearts and in our minds. Is
- 48:37Speaker 5: through the fear of the Lord may depart from evil.
- 48:42Speaker 5: And also the love of God is what's going to
- 48:45Speaker 5: draw us sin. There's a healthy balance, you know. I
- 48:47Speaker 5: just don't want us to be terrified of God, but
- 48:51Speaker 5: to know that God loves us and the perfect love
- 48:53Speaker 5: cast out fear. We were created for His purposes to
- 48:59Speaker 5: have a relatelationship with Him. We need to answer the call. Amen.
- 49:04Speaker 5: I'm your brother, mister his hop and remember it's not
- 49:07Speaker 5: about us, It's all about the Christ in us. God.
- 49:10Speaker 5: Bless y'all.
- 49:22Speaker 6: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 49:26Speaker 6: is the hiss Hop Radio Show
