- 4:05situation that leads us to the purpose in which God has created us. So
- 4:10again I want to say welcome. This is episode number twelve of Believing the
- 4:15Journey Podcast, and tonight I have a guest who has originally been on the
- 4:20show, and this is us catching up with her, and her name is
- 4:26Antonia ni Nia Barnes, and we're catching up with her on a goal that
- 4:33she said the last time she was here on the show. And as always,
- 4:38we can't start any show without going to God in prayer. So let's
- 4:41go to God in prayer by your heads with me, please, Jillard,
- 4:45thank you for bringing us together as you do so often, and we thank
- 4:48you for everything that you do for us, keeping us in the path in
- 4:51which you have created for us. Even though sometimes we may fall astray and
- 4:57get distracted by the world, but we always find our way back to you.
- 5:01Thank you for keeping us safe and protected, give us the strength that
- 5:04we need to face any obstacles that we may be going through. Block anything
- 5:09that is sent in our path to get us off the path that you have
- 5:13for us. Thank you for bringing us together tonight and help me to stay
- 5:18focused on what we need to talk about and be the person that you have
- 5:24created me to be. In your precious name, Jesus, I pray.
- 5:28Now I'm gonna bring up my guest, Miss Antonia. How are you tonight?
- 5:34Hi am great? How are you? I am good and welcome back
- 5:39to the show. Thank you for having me. Yes, So let me
- 5:45start by asking you what have you been up to. I have been working.
- 5:53I have been at working. I've been working with more photographers locally and
- 6:00not locally. Okay, as far as the modeling, UM, I've kind
- 6:03of just been trying to get myself out there, meeting people. UM.
- 6:09Kind of branch off Um, I've been working on my book. Yeah,
- 6:13that's true. Have a date for I do, okay, And I've still
- 6:18been writing for Threats Online, so I do still do my blog writing,
- 6:23um every Tuesday something. Um, so yeah, I'm just working. Listen,
- 6:33when you were here originally, you were still so very shy and very
- 6:38timid and not sure about what you wanted to do and just being a guy
- 6:44about putting your writing out there. But as I told you before we came
- 6:48on this part, we had our little back to stage conversation that I've been
- 6:54watching, and I've been watching you come out of that shell. I see
- 6:58your photographs and oh my god, they are truly truly amazing. Thank you
- 7:02keep doing that. And I swear because I know you were like saying,
- 7:08well, I'm a plus sized girl, plus being short in statue, which
- 7:12I understand that it's well because I am sure in statue and curvious curvatus as
- 7:17well, so I understand. It's always kind of difficult to know what your
- 7:23angles are because you don't want to look super short, but you don't want
- 7:27to look like you're like too tall either. It's not really what it is
- 7:32because when people see you in public, They're like, well you look a
- 7:36lot taller, you know. Yeah, so you have done an amazing job
- 7:46with stepping out of that comfort zone. Now let me ask you this question,
- 7:50because I know what I told you to say and say that I can,
- 7:55I will and I shall. How often did you repeat that? Um?
- 8:01I honestly say it like twice a day, Like in the morning,
- 8:03I get up, I'm like brushing my teeth. I'm like, all right,
- 8:07girl, you can't shout with like you got this, like today it's
- 8:09gonna be a good day. Like what are you gonna achieve? What are
- 8:13you gonna get done? Like what's one positive thing you could put into the
- 8:16world. And I honestly like since then, like I truly live by that,
- 8:20Like if I don't push myself, if I don't like understand that,
- 8:26like I'm the only person that's gonna be able to drive myself to do the
- 8:30things that I need to do, I'm not gonna accomplish it. So I
- 8:33like that that's not every day. And I tell I tell my sister,
- 8:37my friend called the Crime Girl, you can and he's like, okay,
- 8:46say it every day, So I look by it. I do. I
- 8:50honestly do listen. That is one of the things that I actually have to
- 8:54say to myself on certain days because it's like, Okay, you know what,
- 8:58today I don't really feel like it. I don't have the energy,
- 9:01and it's like, okay, you know what, you gotta suck it up.
- 9:05You gotta actually say you can, you shell and you will. And
- 9:07once you say that to yourself, you get to move and you get to
- 9:13doing what you need to get accomplished for that day. Now, at the
- 9:16end of the day, you might be tired, but you've accomplished everything that
- 9:18you set out to do. And so that's the best part about saying that
- 9:22little saying And tell me about this book. So, like I said,
- 9:33I've been working with other photographers. I've been working on the cover of my
- 9:37book. Some of the models that I've met actually do draw or do art,
- 9:43okay, So I've been kind of clobing with them to get some pieces
- 9:48put into my book that kind of go with the writing that I have.
- 9:52And currently now I am just in the process of making my manuscript. I
- 9:58am putting together like you know, what's gonna work for me and what's not
- 10:03what I think is gonna should be in the book or be in the next
- 10:07book. Um. So that's really where I am right now. I do
- 10:11have a release date, um, so they it will be on Amazon Kindle
- 10:16book um for free order on September okay, Um, and then it will
- 10:22be able you'll be able to purchase it like on Amazon. I'm trying to
- 10:28push to get in like little local source here too. Um. No later
- 10:33than October. Okay, Okay, so we gotta for the book. Okay,
- 10:41we go give me something else to look forward to and reach out to
- 10:46you about and see when it's gonna be on the shows and everything. Yes,
- 10:52yes, Okay. Do we have a title for the book? Yes?
- 10:56Um. So that the book is all the words I couldn't say,
- 11:01Okay, and yeah, it's just basically, um, literally like all of
- 11:05the things I couldn't say, whether it's heartbreak, if it's pain, if
- 11:09it's love, if it's growth, Um, it's it's everything in one book.
- 11:13I feel like, um, they all tie in together. I've had
- 11:16my heartbroken, I fell in love. Um, I've cried some, I've
- 11:22laughed some. So um. A lot of the poetry is just kind of
- 11:26based on like life, like you know, you got your heartbroken, like
- 11:31here. It is like I laid my heart in line here. It is.
- 11:33I'm sure somebody else can relate. They probably cry into like girl,
- 11:37can't we be said that? But yeah, I definitely say it's gonna be
- 11:41a must read. Um, some of the pieces that I have posted,
- 11:46um for threads will be in there. Um pieces I have not posted.
- 11:52So I have some stuff you guys haven't seen yet. Okay, Okay,
- 11:56Well that's good because every thing that you've touched on just right there is something
- 12:01that someone can definitely relate to. Because we've all been in relationships where we've
- 12:07had our heartbroken, We've all been through like even the loss of a job,
- 12:13loss of a family member, just all of those things. And whenever
- 12:16you write poetry, that comes with that, and you gotta be able to
- 12:20feel the emotion to write the poetry. That's just how I see it now.
- 12:26Somebody else may not agree with that, but I agree. Poetry is
- 12:31an emotional thing to write. And you can put a bunch of words on
- 12:37the paper if you're not feeling what you're writing, no one else is gonna
- 12:41feel that either, you know. And that's one thing that I can say
- 12:46when I write my poetry whatever I'm feeling in that moment goes on the paper
- 12:52and it may not make a lot of sense at that time because I'm just
- 12:56writing for what I'm feeling. But once I get it out can always go
- 13:00back and edit. And I think a lot of times people tend to stay
- 13:05away from writing and staying a right from publishing their stories or whatever because they're
- 13:11afraid that it has to be perfect. But that's the reason you have a
- 13:15rough draft. That's the reason you can edit. But you can't edit a
- 13:18blank page if you never put anything on it. So if you never put
- 13:22anything on the page, you can't edit it. It's not wrong, it's
- 13:26just not there. So if you if you don't put nothing on the page,
- 13:31you can't edit it. So you gotta be able to put it down
- 13:35somewhere, and I do everywhere I go. I'm like, literally, I
- 13:39have my phone. I have my phone and my iPad where it's connected.
- 13:43So anytime I edit something, it goes because my iPads. When I get
- 13:46home, I'm like, all right, let me go on my public thing,
- 13:48let me edit, let me add. And it doesn't matter where we
- 13:50are, Like if we're in the car, myself and my partner or like
- 13:54I'm in the grocery store and I'm like, oh, yeah, that was
- 13:56good, okay, John. Yeah. Later, I'm like at home on
- 14:01the couch and I'm ignoring everybody, like what are you doing? And I'm
- 14:03like I'm getting myself, Like you gotta give me ten minutes because I have
- 14:09like two good segments I could put together really quick and like I'll be done.
- 14:13Um. But even like it doesn't matter what it is, like even
- 14:16if my like my sister, she like reach down. She's like, Sis,
- 14:20I'm having a bad day and I need something to read. And I'm
- 14:22like, what are you feeling? Like what's bothering you? What's going on?
- 14:24She's just like I'm not I'm just not feeling it. And I'm like,
- 14:28okay, give me one hour. I would piece something together and then
- 14:33I send it to her and she text me back like I can't believe it,
- 14:35and I was like, it just takes a pen on the paper,
- 14:39like literally, there's no real science to it. Like my feelings might not
- 14:43be your feelings. You might not understand what I'm saying. I might not
- 14:46understand what you're saying, but somebody somewhere is gonna feel exactly what she said
- 14:52dissected you know, so, and that's that's what I was worried about.
- 14:58I was. I was in the beginning, like you said, I was
- 15:00nervous critique and be like really harsh. And I've got a lot of positive
- 15:05feedback, and I'm like, you know, they look forward to it every
- 15:07week. They're like, girl posed exactly. That's what I was telling you.
- 15:13I'm like, I know I didn't posted this week. I'm sorry.
- 15:16Actually I'm editing right this second. Um. Yep. It makes a difference.
- 15:20It definitely, it definitely makes a difference. It definitely does. I
- 15:24can honestly say for me, I had to learn to start taking my phone
- 15:28with me certain places because you will get a burst of inspiration just anywhere.
- 15:35And I realized that, and this is gonna be crazy, is that I
- 15:39was in the hospital. They have put me back in the hospital. They
- 15:43were thinking that I was having another stroke, and all I had was my
- 15:46phone and I'm getting ready to go into the um get an MRI I done,
- 15:50and you know, you can't really have your phone in there because of
- 15:52the magnet. And so I was like, well, wait, y'all gotta
- 15:56wait a minute. I'm writing a poem right now, because what I was
- 16:00thinking about was they were about to place me in that little tunnel and it's
- 16:07dark and you might have those headphones on, and so what I wrote about
- 16:11was being in darkness and at the end, like if you're looking down at
- 16:15your feet, then you see the light. And so that's what I wrote
- 16:19about it now, And they were like, well, how did you write
- 16:22this? I was about to go into the MRI machine and it was nothing
- 16:26but darkness, and so I had to think about what I was about to
- 16:32experience, and so I wrote that down. So it became a good point
- 16:37for someone else, but it helped me to not think about being in in
- 16:41that tiny little space because I hate the MRI machine and it's so loud and
- 16:48it's like, okay, and they try to give you those little headphones and
- 16:52the little music or whatever, but it rounds nothing out. So you gotta
- 16:56either think about something else or what And so that that is really a good
- 17:00thing that you do have your phone to where you can do that, because
- 17:06that was one of the things that I had to learn to do to keep
- 17:07my phone with me, because I didn't always You don't always have access to
- 17:12pen and paper, but you'll have your phone with you. And so when
- 17:17you have your phone, you could just wake up in the middle of the
- 17:19night and just either voice record, which I started doing that as well,
- 17:25and then I would write it out or type it out later. But that
- 17:29came in handy to have the voice recorder and just think of something because it'll
- 17:33come to you in a dream as well. So if you don't have it
- 17:37and you can't get it down, you might not remember the Like me,
- 17:44I know, I have like a couple of like notes in my notepad and
- 17:48it's like three sentences and I'm like, what were you thinking about? Like
- 17:52what were you doing? Now? You put this down? And then a
- 17:53couple of these later, I came back and I added a couple more sentences,
- 17:56and by the end of it, I'm like, you're a really good
- 17:59poem here, really if you just take this out and that this and that's
- 18:02really good. So and a lot I know a lot of people are like,
- 18:06um, why don't you do voice overs? And I'm like, I
- 18:07hate my voice like and they're like yeah, but like you're writing is really
- 18:11good and we want to be able to like feel it from the way that
- 18:15you wrote it, and I'm like, I mean, I guess that makes
- 18:17sense. Um, But when I'm writing it, it's just like I'm writing
- 18:21like I'm not like, yeah, this is how I feel like the second
- 18:23it's kind of just like no, this is just like it's really good.
- 18:26It's flowing. It's like I was eating an apple and now I'm writing and
- 18:32and then they're what we want you to read it, Well, what if
- 18:34I don't want to cry right now? So it's like a bunch of emotions
- 18:38and it's like I was crying when I wrote this. I was I'm not
- 18:41I'm not crying now, so you gotta get it complete to cry. Yeah.
- 18:47Yeah, So I got the voice memos, but they're kind of why
- 18:52I can feel you on that. I don't think I have a good voice
- 18:56when it comes to things of that nature, but I've always had people as
- 19:00you know, have you thought about doing an audio book? And I'm like,
- 19:03nah, I ain't even thought about that. That ain't for me,
- 19:06you know. But the thing of it is that I have realized is that
- 19:11my voice is soothing to people and it'll put them to sleep. And I'm
- 19:15not wanting them to go to sleep, you know, I want them to
- 19:18stay awake, and so it's like, Okay, I get that I can
- 19:25soothe you to sleep, but I don't want you to fall asleep on what
- 19:29I'm saying. So that's another reason why I haven't even thought about doing that,
- 19:33because it's like, oh, well, your voice is relaxing, it's
- 19:37soothing, you should do Okay, Well, if it's relaxing and soothing and
- 19:41you gonna go to sleep, I don't want you to do I don't want
- 19:45you to do that. I want you to stay awake and stay focused on
- 19:48what we're talking about. But you know, nonetheless, it is what it
- 19:52is. But I understand not wanting to do it in that aspect because it's
- 19:59like we hear ourselves differently than what other people hear us too. And that's
- 20:03one thing that I've learned is that to me, my voice sounds really squeaky
- 20:08and really annoying sometimes, but no one will ever say that, And I'm
- 20:18like, Okay, you don't have to tell me, but that's how I
- 20:21hear myself, you know. So it's like, uh, it's okay,
- 20:25it's gonna be all right. But I am extremely proud of you. I
- 20:29really want you to know that I because I have watched you in the background
- 20:36over here. I'm like, oh, look at my girl coming out of
- 20:40that shell that she had when I first met her, and your photographs and
- 20:47everything and your writing is truly, truly amazing, and I cannot wait for
- 20:53everyone else to actually get a taste of what you have been doing, because
- 21:00it is amazing. I'm excited. I'm excited. I definitely have um stepped
- 21:07out of my comfort zone a little bit, especially with my photos because again,
- 21:10like I said, I was like, I'm sure, like my baby,
- 21:14um, and then from my photos when I first started back in like
- 21:19a little bit before December too. Now I can see the difference. I
- 21:22can see the confidence. I can like, yes, when photographers reach out
- 21:27and they're like, hey, let's work, I'm like, what's your ideas?
- 21:30I know exactly what to say, Like this is what I'm comfortable with.
- 21:33This is not what I'm comfortable with. Like with everybody, I'm like,
- 21:37I'm on our Instagram, like do you shoot a plus size girls?
- 21:41Like? You know? So I'm like, I know my angles, I
- 21:45know we're sure. So I'm always like networking, networking, networking, I'm
- 21:52like looking for other people to like work with. I'm like, hey,
- 21:55you know, I'm right if you sing, if you whatever, just like
- 21:59um, even with UM. There's another guy that I followed on Facebook and
- 22:03um he does like open which is not too far from us, okay,
- 22:10and he's like, hey, do you want to come to an open mac
- 22:11And I'm like, we're working on it. So he does have one coming
- 22:18up, and I'm like, you know what, like, if you don't
- 22:22do it now, you're never gonna do it. Step out of your comfort
- 22:23zone, step out of your yes. Because I did an open mic night
- 22:30with my poetry and I will tell you that was the very first time I
- 22:36had ever done it. And let me tell you, I got good and
- 22:40bad reviews. The reason is because when I get really nervous, I talk
- 22:45really fast, and so that's what happened. But overall, the point itself
- 22:52was good. It was just the fact that I didn't give it the emotion
- 22:56of what it needed. Now. When I was practicing at home in front
- 23:02of my family and everybody, it was fine, no problems, no shoes.
- 23:07But when I got up there, it's like, okay, everybody staring
- 23:08at me, and I don't really know how to take everybody staring at me,
- 23:15and I gotta right. So yeah, I'm like, I know when
- 23:22people can tell I'm nervous because at this point I'm like, okay, I
- 23:26get ready and then it's like all I'm saying and then I'm stuttering and I'm
- 23:30like, oh my bad, let me, I'm just gonna restart. Mm
- 23:33hmmm. So I have They're like, you gotta practice, and I'm like,
- 23:36well, I can't practice a front of people. I know, because
- 23:38I know you right easy, Like I could have a conversation with you going
- 23:45in front of a bunch of people. I don't know. I'm thinking of
- 23:47my head. Look are they gonna like it? I mean not gonna like
- 23:48it's a good am I talking to you? Fat? So I'm like overworking
- 23:52myself and then by the time I get there, I'm like, I'm just
- 23:55gonna watch everybody else. Yep, That's exactly what I wanted to do,
- 24:00but it was no go. I had to get up there, and I
- 24:04actually I'm grateful for that moment because it taught me how to critique myself.
- 24:11It also taught me how to slow down and deliver what I needed to and
- 24:18to not worry about anybody else. Now, my best friend is on him.
- 24:22She said I did phenomenal, phenomenal, but she's definitely very biased.
- 24:27She doesn't think I do anything that's bad, and I try to tell her
- 24:33sometimes it's bad, you know, But I'm grateful that she believes in me
- 24:37to no end. You know, I can honestly say that I do have
- 24:44one person that will always tell me the truth no matter what, and that's
- 24:48my youngest son. And he'll tell me if I have just messed it up
- 24:52completely. He like, now, you know you could have did better than
- 24:56that. And I'm like, well, what mistake did I make? He
- 24:59was like, well, from one Like I did a video one time.
- 25:03He was like, okay, well, your message was good, but the
- 25:06problem is you wasn't looking directly at the camera. You were looking all around.
- 25:11You need to make eye contact when you do that, okay, sir?
- 25:15Oh well you know he was like, ain't no. Well, and
- 25:19then like I might be talking to him about something and he's like, okay,
- 25:22so you're gonna post that, right, And I'm like nope. It's
- 25:26like, well, why you're not gonna post that? Because I don't think
- 25:29nobody want to hear that. So I still have those moments now where it's
- 25:33like now, I don't think nobody want to hear that, or he's like
- 25:37okay, well I don't want you to type that. I need you to
- 25:40make a video that goes with what you're talking about. And every once in
- 25:45a while I'll do it, and then I always run it by him first
- 25:48and be like, okay, well what do you think about this? He's
- 25:52like okay, so why you didn't post that? And I'm like, well,
- 25:53I needed to run it by you first because you know you're gonna hold
- 25:57me accountable. He's like okay, so h hit the post button post it.
- 26:03I'm like, give me your phone, I'll post it myself. So
- 26:07that's usually what happens. Now. My best friend is like that, like
- 26:12normally because she's not really honest. She's on social media, but not like
- 26:15enough, like she doesn't really do Facebook and stuff like that. So every
- 26:18time I get ready to post, I automatically send it to her, even
- 26:22if her phone gone do not deserve I'm like send anyway and still text back
- 26:26and she's like, oh, this one was really good. I like this
- 26:27one better than last one. Or she's like, well, what do you
- 26:32have to post with this and I'm just like, Okay, good, thank
- 26:34you for being honest, Like if you hate it, taught me you hate
- 26:37it if you couldn't relate, tell me you couldn't relate. And he's very
- 26:41honest. She'll tell me like your writing has gotten a lot better, or
- 26:45this piece was a lot better than the last piece. You should try to
- 26:48do this differently. So I feel like that definitely helps when someone's honest,
- 26:52like just be honest with me. Tell me, like, girl just makes
- 26:55no sense. Which way were you going with it? So I can defend
- 27:00it? Yeah, and that and it helps my book. Even when my
- 27:03book, I'm like, you know, like should all my poems kind of
- 27:07tie together? Or can they be all over the police? And so with
- 27:11over kind of things that I had to think of, like girl, you
- 27:14can't talk about riding the bike and then cry, and that you gotta figure
- 27:18it out, you go, you gotta piece it together. Maybe some of
- 27:22them might have to go into another book or a different post. So when
- 27:29you get ready to do your outline for your book. And this is the
- 27:30same thing that I told my sister, because my sister has a book of
- 27:33poets that she wants to put together as well, put your poems together in
- 27:40the sense of the emotion that you're tying to it, and make those your
- 27:45chapter headings. In that way, everything that's in that section goes along with
- 27:51that emotion and that feeling. That way, you're not going through so many
- 27:55different emotions in each page. They're all your section. So let's say you
- 28:02talk about like you have some poems that are about heartbreak or and then you
- 28:06have points that are about new beginnings. So you have that section and the
- 28:14points that follow along in that section. So make your outline according to that,
- 28:18and then you can build your chapters according to how your emotions go with
- 28:23your um your feelings, and that way it flows cohesively. That way,
- 28:30it's not so much of an overthinking. And then you might realize you got
- 28:34a upbeat poet at the beginning, or you got one at the end,
- 28:40and then you're trying to wind it down and now you don't brought everybody's emotions
- 28:44all the way back up, and they're like, oh Lord, where are
- 28:47we supposed to be going from here? So I'm kind of like, because
- 28:53I am using that Amazon KDP and I got halfway through it and it's like,
- 29:00all right, you need a manuscript, and I was like where do
- 29:06I start? Like do what? And then I like wrote a Friday and
- 29:11I was like, hey, so I'm on my manuscript part, but like
- 29:17I don't know where to start, Like I don't know what to pieces together.
- 29:19I don't know what to and he's like just making outline like that is
- 29:25your book. Your manuscript is your book, like your chapters, what your
- 29:30titles of your poems are, like how you want it to flow together.
- 29:33He's like, it's your book. It's gonna come out however you want it
- 29:37to come out. But you gotta just go through your nugget. You gotta
- 29:41go through your stuff and figure out like yes and no so And that's where
- 29:47I'm at all day today. I'm like clicking and push it in and my
- 29:49girlfriend she's like what are you doing? And I was like, oh,
- 29:52I'm creating my poems and she's like okay, and I'm like yeah, no,
- 29:56I'm not doing that one. And then I got my phone raggle and
- 30:00she's like what are you dragging it? And I'm like I doing my manuscript
- 30:03and she's like I would just leave you alone, and I was like thanks,
- 30:07I just needs like a good two hours to get it together because I
- 30:12am all over the place right now. She's like, okay, like whatever.
- 30:18And a lot of times I'm like, you know, and I'll say
- 30:21something about like poultry or like a specific kind of poem and she's like,
- 30:23I don't know what you're talking about. And I see her on Google like
- 30:26and I'm like, you could have just asked what I'm talking about. She's
- 30:32like, oh, I support you, You're doing great, and I'm just
- 30:33like thanks, thanks. I really have no idea, and I have dollars
- 30:41I say to make your outline. Is because when I did my poetry book,
- 30:45which I'm gonna do a second volume of poems, is because I had
- 30:51no idea what I was doing. I was just basically stepping outside of my
- 30:56comfort zone and becoming a writer, author or whatever, just listening to my
- 31:04best friend and listening to God at the same time. And it was just
- 31:07like, Okay, this is what you need to do. And so when
- 31:11I do that, it was just like, Okay, I'm just gonna put
- 31:17these together. So I picked twenty six of my favorite poems and I put
- 31:21them in a book. I had no rhyme, no reason, no nothing.
- 31:23It was just twenty six of my favorite poems. So when I say
- 31:29they're up and down and all over the place, they really are. Because
- 31:33I wasn't focused on everything else. I wasn't focused on if anybody was gonna
- 31:40like it, if anybody was gonna buy it. I didn't focus on any
- 31:44of that. I did it because my best friend said, you got these
- 31:48poems, you need to put them in a book. Okay, cool,
- 31:51God said, okay, I need you to just do what I told you
- 31:53to do. Don't worry about nothing else. Now. Once I did it,
- 31:59it was like, oh, okay, I did that. Now let
- 32:01me critique it and let me get better at the craft of actually formatting a
- 32:07book putting it together. So that's how I've done my second and third book
- 32:12and working on my fourth one. And the fourth one is titled God Never
- 32:15Counted Me Out. So that's the next book that is coming out for me,
- 32:21hopefully by November of this year. I can actually dedicate some more time
- 32:27to that. But when I first did it, I'm telling you, I
- 32:34was so over the place, and I was like, okay, yeah,
- 32:37I can't do that no more. But I got more poems that I need
- 32:42to put in a second volume, but I just haven't put them together.
- 32:47So I got to hold me accountable for putting that book together for the second
- 32:52volume of poems. So I no, no, I'm not even gonna say
- 33:00that I'm gonna put that book together, but I gotta finish this one first.
- 33:05God let me work on that first, because I got plenty of poems
- 33:10that I can make a second book. I just think that God never counted
- 33:15me out is a message that people really need to hear because so many things
- 33:21I've been through and people have counted me out so often versus not understanding that
- 33:28I was just never included in their counting in the first place. So you
- 33:31know, that's the one that needs to come out, and that's the one
- 33:35that I'm going to be working on to get it out by November. So
- 33:39I said November, so you can hold me to that day, so you
- 33:47hold me accountable as I did you and will be good. Now, if
- 33:54anybody wants to follow your work or you're writing that you do with threads,
- 34:02how can they do that? Um? So if you go directly to my
- 34:07Facebook page, and my Facebook page is near and if anybody doesn't have me
- 34:10as a friend right at the beginning of my page, it says threads,
- 34:15and then it's like my blog. There's a link that they can click that
- 34:19takes them directly to my blog and they can put everyone that I post or
- 34:22have ever posted. And then if they want to keep like up of my
- 34:27posting every week or get a notification, there's um kind of like a subscription
- 34:31where they can. It's free, but they'll just put their email in and
- 34:35every time I post, they'll get an email to say that I posted something.
- 34:37Okay, So like a quick little notification, then you've got new stuff
- 34:43okay cold And I know that they will be excited as I am to read
- 34:49and to see your photographs, because you are truly, truly amazing, and
- 34:55I am grateful to have you back, and we will keep this relationship going
- 35:00because you have not seen the last of me, because I am truly proud
- 35:05of you. I love to see your growth. I love to see you
- 35:08smiling, I love to see you shining coming outside of that little shell that
- 35:14you were in. Reminds me, like I said before, of myself,
- 35:19because our lives are parallel in so many different ways. But you have overcome
- 35:28a lot and you keep shining in so many different areas in so many different
- 35:32ways, and I want you to keep embracing every bit of who you are
- 35:37because you are now walking in the purpose in which God has created you.
- 35:40So I love you, I honor you, and I am grateful to have
- 35:45met you. And I will continue to be one of your biggest cheerleaders.
- 35:49Okay, thank you so much. I early appreciate that. That's like I
- 35:52feel like, even with the beginning of the first podcast, I was just
- 35:55like, you know what, like just to have one person to say,
- 35:59like you can, like you got this, and like hold me accountable,
- 36:01like I'm here today. You know, I suck to what I said,
- 36:07And I have like made a lot of groups, so like just to have
- 36:10that one person and say, like you got this and you check in frequently,
- 36:15and yeah, I appreciate it. I appreciate it because it got his
- 36:19long life, not everybody and genuinely there for you or cares or support you.
- 36:22So I appreciate you. I do. I appreciate you a whole lot.
- 36:27Well, you are welcome. We started out as strangers, but that
- 36:30quickly went out the window after that first meeting, and like I told you,
- 36:36you might as well get used to me nagging you and being on you
- 36:38because I want you to see what I see in you, and that is
- 36:44greatness. And you've only just scratched the surface. So there's so much more
- 36:47that you have to show the world and I'm ready to see it, and
- 36:52I'm ready for you to see what God has for you as well. So
- 36:57you know I excited. I'm excited. Yeah, but it's always you know.
- 37:01I thank you for being here, and I thank for everybody who tuned
- 37:05in tonight. But as I always say, mind jo business and stay out
- 37:09of guys, because he doesn't need anything from you except for you to be
- 37:13obedient to what He's called you to do. Until next time, we'll see
- 37:16you again. Love y'all, good night, good night,
