British Detectives Head to America to Speak With Virginia Roberts’ Family · The Epstein Chronicles

• 0:00
Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the
• 0:04
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. For over a decade, Virginia Roberts was pleading
• 0:11
Speaker 1: with the authorities in the UK to take action against
• 0:15
Speaker 1: Prince Andrew. And for years, she was ignored, time and
• 0:19
Speaker 1: time again. And I can't help but ask myself, if
• 0:23
Speaker 1: things would have been different if all these people who
• 0:25
Speaker 1: say they care now would have cared back then. And
• 0:29
Speaker 1: then from there, I asked myself, would Virginia still be
• 0:32
Speaker 1: with us if the authorities in the UK and the
• 0:36
Speaker 1: United States took what she said more seriously? And I
• 0:40
Speaker 1: think it's safe to say that the answer to that
• 0:42
Speaker 1: question is yes. Well, now, after over a decade, the
• 0:48
Speaker 1: UK is sending a team of detectives to the United
• 0:51
Speaker 1: States to talk to Virginia's family about her allegations against
• 0:56
Speaker 1: Prince Andrew. And look, I'm not very confident that anything's
• 1:01
Speaker 1: going to come of it as far as anything tangible,
• 1:04
Speaker 1: but at least it's a step in the right direction.
• 1:07
Speaker 1: At least the UK authorities are sending people over to
• 1:09
Speaker 1: speak with Virginia's family. You would think that the FBI
• 1:14
Speaker 1: would want to do that too. You would think that
• 1:16
Speaker 1: every organization in America that's investigating this would want to
• 1:21
Speaker 1: speak with Virginia's family. Now look, the evidence that they
• 1:25
Speaker 1: could provide, if any, is going to be secondhand and hearsay.
• 1:30
Speaker 1: And I'm not going to bullshit you and tell you that,
• 1:33
Speaker 1: you know, that's going to end up with Andrew going
• 1:35
Speaker 1: to prison. But I feel like it's another brick in
• 1:38
Speaker 1: the road. And I think there's a lot of people
• 1:40
Speaker 1: out there that don't understand how cases are built. They're
• 1:44
Speaker 1: built on circumstantial evidence. That's what the foundation is. And
• 1:48
Speaker 1: while one piece of that circumstantial evidence on its own
• 1:51
Speaker 1: might not mean much, when you put it all together,
• 1:55
Speaker 1: it tells a whole different story. And I think that
• 1:59
Speaker 1: is something that I really learned covering the Brian Kohlberger trial.
• 2:04
Speaker 1: I mean, talk about twists and turns. I don't think
• 2:06
Speaker 1: there's a more complex case that's made its way through
• 2:10
Speaker 1: the system in the last 10 or 20 years. I mean,
• 2:14
Speaker 1: we're talking about every challenge you can possibly imagine was
• 2:18
Speaker 1: thrown at the prosecution. And the hoops they had to
• 2:21
Speaker 1: jump through to make sure that Brian Kohlberger's right to
• 2:24
Speaker 1: a fair trial was respected. was insane. And now there's
• 2:29
Speaker 1: a new report out that it cost the taxpayers of
• 2:32
Speaker 1: Idaho $ 8 million. $ 8 million for that scumbag just to
• 2:38
Speaker 1: plead guilty. And look, we all knew he was guilty, right?
• 2:42
Speaker 1: Once we started getting the information, it was relatively obvious.
• 2:46
Speaker 1: But my point is, this stuff is complicated. And if
• 2:49
Speaker 1: you're going to build a case against somebody, you have
• 2:51
Speaker 1: to start with circumstantial evidence. That's how it goes. So
• 2:55
Speaker 1: today we have an article from The Sun and And
• 2:57
Speaker 1: let's see what they have to say about the detectives
• 2:59
Speaker 1: from the UK coming over to America to speak with
• 3:03
Speaker 1: Virginia's family. And the headline. Andy Probe. Andrew detectives to
• 3:09
Speaker 1: fly to the US to interview Virginia Roberts' family over
• 3:12
Speaker 1: her sex allegations against the prince. This article was authored
• 3:16
Speaker 1: by Sam Creed. Thames Valley police officers will reportedly fly
• 3:23
Speaker 1: to the US to speak with Virginia's relatives over her
• 3:26
Speaker 1: sexual assault allegations against the ex-prince. And look, I'm trying
• 3:30
Speaker 1: not to get too agitated by this, but if these
• 3:33
Speaker 1: people would have cared this much when Virginia was around,
• 3:37
Speaker 1: things could have been a lot different. And I can
• 3:39
Speaker 1: tell you for a fact that this kind of shit
• 3:41
Speaker 1: weighed on Virginia. The fact that people didn't listen in
• 3:44
Speaker 1: the UK, the fact that Andrew was continuously protected, it
• 3:48
Speaker 1: weighed on her. And I think it would weigh on anybody.
• 3:52
Speaker 1: Imagine being on the battlefield basically alone against Jeffrey Epstein's people.
• 3:57
Speaker 1: That's what it was like when Virginia first came out.
• 4:01
Speaker 1: Nobody really knew what Epstein was up to. Then Virginia
• 4:04
Speaker 1: shows up and blows the lid off of everything. And
• 4:08
Speaker 1: for quite some time, she was on her own. She
• 4:10
Speaker 1: didn't have people backing her up. Instead, she was being
• 4:13
Speaker 1: attacked continuously and non-stop. And unfortunately... even though she's not
• 4:19
Speaker 1: with us anymore, there's still people out there that do it.
• 4:22
Speaker 1: And it's mind-boggling to me. Like Virginia's the bad guy here?
• 4:26
Speaker 1: Like she did something wrong? The ex-Duke was arrested on
• 4:32
Speaker 1: suspicion of misconduct in public office at his Sandringham home
• 4:36
Speaker 1: on his 66th birthday in February. Andrew was later released
• 4:40
Speaker 1: under investigation, but cops say they have widened their inquiry
• 4:45
Speaker 1: into his 10 years as UK trade envoy. And that's
• 4:48
Speaker 1: just how it goes. Any investigation for any crime, they
• 4:52
Speaker 1: look at you for everything. So say you get hit
• 4:55
Speaker 1: with a felony for, I don't know, insert crime here.
• 4:58
Speaker 1: They're going to look at everything. They're going to look
• 5:00
Speaker 1: at your bank records. They're going to look at your taxes.
• 5:03
Speaker 1: They're going to look at everything. And if they can
• 5:05
Speaker 1: find a way to smack you in the face with
• 5:08
Speaker 1: the legal hammer, get ready. You're about to get cracked.
• 5:12
Speaker 1: In May, TVP detectives confirmed that they were probing claims
• 5:16
Speaker 1: of sexual misconduct allegedly carried out by the outcast royal.
• 5:20
Speaker 1: I mean, I know I've said it about 45 billion times,
• 5:25
Speaker 1: but imagine being the son of Queen Elizabeth and fucking
• 5:28
Speaker 1: it up this bad. Yo, I would be living the
• 5:32
Speaker 1: life like you wouldn't believe. I'd be everywhere. I'd be
• 5:36
Speaker 1: doing all kinds of good deeds. Is there a leper
• 5:38
Speaker 1: colony for me to go visit? Where can I go?
• 5:41
Speaker 1: Who can I help? How do I harness this great
• 5:44
Speaker 1: privilege to help other people? I'm the fucking Prince of England.
• 5:49
Speaker 1: But no, it has to be a whole other thing, right?
• 5:52
Speaker 1: It has to be, how can I get more? How
• 5:54
Speaker 1: can I benefit from this? Not about the people of
• 5:58
Speaker 1: the UK. Not about his mom. About himself. And that's
• 6:03
Speaker 1: what Andrew's always been about. Himself. And he's always behaved
• 6:06
Speaker 1: the way he behaves because there's never been any kind
• 6:10
Speaker 1: of punishment. No life lessons. I know the vast majority
• 6:14
Speaker 1: of us out there, if we went around our lives
• 6:17
Speaker 1: growing up the way Andrew did, we'd be walking around
• 6:20
Speaker 1: with fat lips and black eyes. But Prince Andrew, because
• 6:24
Speaker 1: he's the Queen's son, he can say and do whatever
• 6:28
Speaker 1: he wants. Well, I'm here to tell you, my brother,
• 6:31
Speaker 1: you cannot. That fucking ship has sailed. And that bill
• 6:36
Speaker 1: that you've been avoiding, that shit is coming due. And
• 6:43
Speaker 1: it's understood that officers are now set to speak with
• 6:45
Speaker 1: Skye and Amanda Roberts, Virginia's brother and sister-in-law, the Times reports.
• 6:51
Speaker 1: And that's good. They should have a say. Virginia's family,
• 6:54
Speaker 1: her brother and sister especially, should have a lot to
• 6:57
Speaker 1: say about what's going on. And I think that they
• 7:01
Speaker 1: can provide some context about certain issues with Virginia. So
• 7:05
Speaker 1: it's a good idea for the authorities to talk to them.
• 7:09
Speaker 1: Police had previously urged alleged victims and survivors of Andrew's pal,
• 7:13
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein, to talk to them. Virginia was a key
• 7:16
Speaker 1: figure in the downfall of the pedo-financier who died in
• 7:20
Speaker 1: prison in 2019. She later sued Andrew in 2021, claiming
• 7:25
Speaker 1: she was forced to have sex with him on three
• 7:28
Speaker 1: occasions when she was a teen. Well, yeah, because it's true,
• 7:32
  Speaker 1: it's a fact. I believe my friend Virginia, and I
• 7:36
Speaker 1: don't believe the jerk-offs in the media who said it
• 7:38
Speaker 1: was a lie. You know, there's people out there. You
• 7:42
Speaker 1: got people like Lady Victoria Harvey and anybody associated with her.
• 7:49
Speaker 1: All those people, they can all eat a big fat
• 7:52
Speaker 1: bag of stinky dicks. Because guess what? You bunch of scumbags.
• 7:58
Speaker 1: You were wrong. Virginia was telling the truth. And your boy,
• 8:03
Speaker 1: Hansy Andy, the Joe Exotic of the Windsor family, well...
• 8:08
Speaker 1: He's everything Virginia told us he was. She later sued
• 8:14
Speaker 1: Andrew in 2021, claiming she was forced to have sex
• 8:17
Speaker 1: with him on three occasions when she was a teen.
• 8:21
Speaker 1: Andrew went on to pay his accuser, who claimed he
• 8:23
Speaker 1: had never met an estimated 12 million pounds in an
• 8:26
Speaker 1: out-of-court settlement. And not really an out-of-court settlement. They went
• 8:31
Speaker 1: to court. Andrew took a look at discovery, and his lawyer,
• 8:35
Speaker 1: Andrew Brettler, one of the best to do it, said, look, buddy,
• 8:39
Speaker 1: you have no case. You need to plead, you need
• 8:42
Speaker 1: to come to the table, and you need to find
• 8:45
Speaker 1: a settlement. Because if you go to trial, and a
• 8:48
Speaker 1: jury sees this, you are cooked. And not only are
• 8:51
Speaker 1: you cooked civilly, you're probably going to go to prison. Now,
• 8:55
  Speaker 1: I'm paraphrasing because I wasn't in the room, but I'm
• 8:58
Speaker 1: guessing that's the way the conversation went with Andrew Brettler.
• 9:02
Speaker 1: And who the hell is settling with somebody for 12
• 9:05
Speaker 1: million pounds if you've never even met them? Please miss
• 9:10
Speaker 1: me with all of that. The former Duke of York
• 9:14
Speaker 1: denied any wrongdoing in relation to Miss Roberts or Epstein.
• 9:18
Speaker 1: Following Andrew's arrest, Virginia's emotional brother, Sky Roberts, and Danielle
• 9:23
Speaker 1: Wilson said their broken hearts are lifted. They said at
• 9:26
Speaker 1: last today, our broken hearts have been lifted at the
• 9:29
Speaker 1: news that no one is above the law, not even royalty.
• 9:34
Speaker 1: On behalf of our sister, Virginia Roberts, we extend our
• 9:37
Speaker 1: gratitude to the U.K., Thames police for their investigation and
• 9:41
Speaker 1: the arrest of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. And look, I'll be the
• 9:45
Speaker 1: first to tell you, I was shocked as fuck when
• 9:48
Speaker 1: they arrested Prince Andrew. I didn't expect it. Sorry, never
• 9:52
Speaker 1: expected it. And now that they did, it's a game
• 9:56
Speaker 1: changer because once you're on that ledge, it doesn't take
• 10:00
Speaker 1: much for the authorities to push your ass off. And
• 10:03
Speaker 1: my friends, he is dangerously close to the edge. He
• 10:09
Speaker 1: was never a prince. For survivors everywhere, Virginia did this
• 10:12
Speaker 1: for you. Cops are also assessing claims of fraud, corruption, bullying,
• 10:18
Speaker 1: and perverting justice. in relation to his stint as trade
• 10:21
Speaker 1: envoy from 2001 to 2011. Officers are in contact with
• 10:27
Speaker 1: the royal household and the government's business and trade department.
• 10:31
Speaker 1: Thames Valley Assistant Chief Constable Oliver Wright said he really
• 10:34
Speaker 1: hoped alleged victims would come forward. Mr. Wright said, There's
• 10:38
Speaker 1: a number of aspects of alleged misconduct that the investigation
• 10:42
Speaker 1: is examining. We are speaking to a range of witnesses
• 10:45
Speaker 1: and want anyone with information to get in touch with us.
• 10:49
Speaker 1: More than 3 million documents and videos relating to Epstein
• 10:52
Speaker 1: have been released by the U.S. Justice Department since December.
• 10:57
Speaker 1: The files appeared to show Andrew passing on details relating
• 11:00
Speaker 1: to royal visits and investment opportunity briefings. Well, yeah, that's
• 11:04
Speaker 1: what he was doing. And God knows what else. Who
• 11:08
Speaker 1: knows what this guy was doing to gain profit. UK
• 11:13
Speaker 1: police forces are said to be in touch with U.S.
• 11:15
Speaker 1: authorities to obtain original material. The Wyden Police Probe is
• 11:19
Speaker 1: examining other potential aspects of misconduct in public office, which
• 11:23
Speaker 1: carries a maximum life sentence. Well, it should. Like, for real?
• 11:29
Speaker 1: I mean, the British people haven't suffered enough indignity? They
• 11:33
Speaker 1: haven't suffered enough embarrassment at the hands of Prince Andrew?
• 11:36
Speaker 1: Now they have to get robbed on top of it?
• 11:39
Speaker 1: Sounds like a shitty deal to me. So I hope
• 11:42
Speaker 1: these investigators find enough information that leads to more problems
• 11:46
Speaker 1: for Andrew. And I say that because in my opinion,
• 11:49
Speaker 1: if anybody deserves to be left without a chair at
• 11:52
Speaker 1: the end of the song, it's certainly the Joe Exotic
• 11:56
Speaker 1: of the Windsor family. All the information that goes with
• 12:00
Speaker 1: this episode can be found in the description box.
