- 0:03Enough is enough. I don't have any serious shuck and we hold the world
- 0:09ransom for me. Excuse me while I whip this out. Broadcasting live and
- 0:16Atlanta, Georgia. This this is the Sports Shot Show with Wayne Dandy.
- 0:23You may began, Madam jan Shore, come to it, comes to monk?
- 0:33Is it just I'm a doing? I'm gonna go on the way you
- 0:41made Pill Vegan. Welcome, Welcome, Welcome, you're listening to the Sports
- 0:47Shock Show. I'm in Sport Shock Wayne Candy, Good morning to you out
- 0:51there and listening land. We have the full team in this morning for this
- 0:57beautiful Thursday show. D December the seventh. We are moving closer to Christmas,
- 1:03closer to a new year, and inching towards the end of the NFL
- 1:11season very slowly though, still have five weeks to go some games with a
- 1:19lot of importance on their season. Tonight, eight fifteen, the Patriots to
- 1:25intend taking on the Stillers at seven and five. I would take the under.
- 1:32I don't know what the point spread is. I don't do point spreads,
- 1:34but we're talking about the Patriots, who scored a zero last week at
- 1:40home versus the Chargers. Against the Stillers, who. It seems like you
- 1:47have to really take a Kodak moment when they scored touchdowns because you don't know
- 1:53when you may see a score. Instiller Nation. But this game is tonight
- 1:59in pitts Burg, so it should be nice and chilly, but the Patriots
- 2:02won't care because that's the weather they love as well. Who will be at
- 2:07quarterback for these teams we don't know, but with the Patriots Mac Jones.
- 2:15They keep putting in Billy Zappy, so I think he's just throwing dice against
- 2:21the wall and whatever it comes up, that's who he inserts it. On
- 2:23the other side, Kenny Pickett is out with a high ankle spring surgery,
- 2:29kind of like Rock Bowers with the Georgia Bulldogs. One of those is quicker,
- 2:34maybe getting back in three weeks instead of four or five. If you
- 2:38have that ankle surgery. You see Trevor Lawrence and it's all about the degree.
- 2:44And when you hear high ankle sprain, understand that this is more up
- 2:50into the muscles in that front of your shin. Some of you that work
- 2:54out they get that sore shin. Those are the muscles that end up turning
- 3:00and that's when they why they say high ankles spring. So it's it's about
- 3:06three four inches up above in those muscles that get kind of turned. It's
- 3:12sore, some swelling, and uh, I guess with the new surgery,
- 3:17as time passes they've learned if they go in there and maybe reconnect. But
- 3:23you will see now with Trevor Lawrence, even with Pickett, And as I
- 3:28said, certain injuries can be played with based on position. So a quarterback
- 3:35can come back from things based on their style faster. So if you have
- 3:40a running quarterback this really but someone that might just be a real pocket you
- 3:46can you can get out there and play on this injury. So we will
- 3:50see how the game tonight Patriots against the Stealers. But my crew is here,
- 3:58commands you. Greg is in in this pilot seat. He's gonna drive
- 4:01us around, but Kenny is in the back rolling one in the bad producer
- 4:08has decided that he would come out of the mountain region of the Carolinas and
- 4:14bless us with his presence here on the show. If you get a chance,
- 4:20remember the semi finals of the n season tournament. We will talk about
- 4:26that in a moment. We'll be here upon us tonight. Yes, you
- 4:33know how you've been looking forward to that end season tournament that nobody understands except
- 4:38for the NBA top desk. The only thing you know is each player that
- 4:44wins gets a certain amount of money. Other than that, you didn't know
- 4:46how it formulated into a tournament. But good morning, fellas. I see
- 4:51you're representing the joint e ts Jets Jets jets in the cowboys are in the
- 4:59building all so well, there you go, and we don't we don't really
- 5:06know. He's been gone for like two weeks. Yeah, it could be
- 5:11a different change over there, fellowship, Good morning to I want to clear
- 5:15something up. You said that I'm in the back broling one. It might
- 5:16make people think that I would transport illegal substances on air travel, and I
- 5:21would not do that. I would not roll one on a plane. I've
- 5:26already got it rolled and I get on the plane. So there we go,
- 5:30compliant, okay, and I am bad so welcome back, thank you,
- 5:33sir. Good morning guys. Contagious, But he no, don'n't know.
- 5:40That sounds like you don't know, and it sounds like you're kind of
- 5:45rolling the dice like maybe I am. But if we're far enough apart,
- 5:49then we won't get it. Is that where we are with it? He
- 5:54doesn't awesome. On Sunday, the big game of the NFL season will be
- 6:02the nine and three Cowboys taking on the ten and two Eagles. Who you
- 6:12got Dak or Jalen? Not as a team but as a player in this
- 6:17game? Who do you see shining? And I know the command She is
- 6:20biased, so we know he's gonna go with his man Dak. So I
- 6:25don't actually need a answer from him, but bad Producer, Big Kenny.
- 6:30I can ask the bad producer because they're both African American. If it was
- 6:35African American versus another race, I know what he would pick. So I
- 6:40maybe get a good answer from him. But Big Kenny, you might be
- 6:44biased too. Why is that because Jalen is a uh brother? Oh so
- 6:53you don't get no, I think? Thank you for pointing that out.
- 7:00Yeah, I mean he didn't want to call it out. You're gonna get
- 7:03shaped and directed. I can't participate, no one participation, just like a
- 7:09cowboy fan like a cowboy exactly. So what you know what I'm gonna do.
- 7:14I'm just gonna avoid that whole question completely because he's a frat because he's
- 7:20a cowboy, and for openly admitting, bad producer that if it was white
- 7:26a verse black, you would go with the black, which makes you.
- 7:30That makes you racing, and so we shouldn't race. So I'm just gonna
- 7:32take that completely off the table. I'm sorry America for even posing that.
- 7:38Maybe I'll figure come out later. Don't apologize to them. Don't apologize to
- 7:42them everything they've done. You're apologizing to it. Openly admitted he wass on
- 7:49you, and then you lied to me. This has been a bad because
- 7:55you said you said you could be unbiased, that you had a biased I
- 7:59know I wouldn't. So you did not know that Jalen hurts. Yes,
- 8:03I do know that, and you did you know that I knew that?
- 8:05Did you think that I knew that? I did not. I assumed no,
- 8:11he did not know that. I'd have been on two I'd have been
- 8:15under cross examination too many times. He did not. I'm not gonna crumble.
- 8:20We talked a couple of shows ago about the word of the year,
- 8:24but that was Miriam Webster and what was that word? Authentic? Authentic?
- 8:33The word of the year for Miriam Webster in the world of twenty twenty three
- 8:39was authentic authentic. Yes, Well, Oxford has decided they will put out
- 8:46their word of twenty twenty three. Oxford University has gone with guests, give
- 8:54me a guest, Big Kenny, Oxford word of the year, cringe,
- 9:00cringe a big Kenny going with cringe bad producer Oxford's word of the year authentic.
- 9:09They went, I'm just I'm thinking they went with the same word.
- 9:13Why, I mean, because they're not authentic. He's back, He's back.
- 9:24Wow, he is so backed right back, like you never left.
- 9:31Commands, Greg Oxford, I already saw it, So you already saw it
- 9:37before I asked the question, or did you google? As soon as I
- 9:39went to asking I Google, why do you do that? Well, no,
- 9:43I wondered, because I didn't know. I didn't know if they had
- 9:46already put out the word. I should have realized that they've already. And
- 9:50that's what he does every time we have a question and we go, hey,
- 9:56come, you're millennial, right, I try to don't you fall under
- 10:01the bracket of millennial. And that's how millennials they try to put it off
- 10:07like they knew. No, not as if I knew. I want I
- 10:13pretend that people. We don't pretend that we know. We try to,
- 10:16you know, we want to know. Yeah, but you want to find
- 10:18out. But when you let me tell you, that's how you would have
- 10:22known. Well, see, that's because you value that kind of exchange of
- 10:26information. The millennials don't have a point of reference for that. They're all
- 10:31doing the same thing he does, so they don't see that as like,
- 10:35hey, man, what are you doing? Or you took my opportunity because
- 10:39they're all in the hand or on the device searching it. Yeah, I
- 10:43just know what I'm sitting with. We're still the finger snap generation. Don't
- 10:48tell me I got it. It's gonna come to me. It's gonna come
- 10:52to me. But now he's messed up the whole game. Yeah, you
- 10:56don't mess it up to Kenny, said Kit told on and then I didn't.
- 11:00Man, don't don't twice this time. Well, when we come back
- 11:03from break, we will talk about the word of the year for Oxford.
- 11:07We have once again sad news news coming in a group shooting as a mass
- 11:15shooting again has occurred here in our country. We had the NFL a whole
- 11:18bunch of college with over twelve hundred players already in the transfer portal. Zach
- 11:26Wilson back behind center. Uh that is hilarious and much more on the Sports
- 11:31Shock Show right after this. Hey, yo, my whole clique do out
- 11:37about it? We take yours. Why you chout about it? Truck step
- 11:39out, just going to crowd about it. You can see me. You're
- 11:41not them on TV from going your bathroom. Turn the light out, scream

- 13:13I had this hole in my heart and I never knew what I needed to
- 13:16patch that hole. But when my mom asked to adopt me, that hole
- 13:20was closed. It feels so normal now to say that I'm a part of
- 13:24this family. I am surrounded by love, I feel safe, and that
- 13:28hole inside of me is gone. I am whole. I'm finally enough,

- 15:37Kelly. Just things you can't place, can't say the way that Diddy is
- 15:41falling underneath the dominoes. We're getting it there right now. Vic Kenny Comanchi,
- 15:46Greg bad Producer, all in the studio, So enjoy these last moments
- 15:52of bad Boy We Go and No Where. And I wonder how many of
- 16:02you out there had the discipline not to pull the commandchee, Greg and Google
- 16:07what Oxford twenty twenty three Word of the Year is. I wonder you only
- 16:12you know when you look in the mirror today as you keep reminding yourself that
- 16:18you didn't have the discipline to not snitch. Not first of all, it's
- 16:22not snitch. First of all, he couldn't resist. But Oxford twenty twenty
- 16:26three Word of the Year is riz are i z z Talmorrow from Greece.
- 16:37Now, I haven't used this term ever, not just in twenty twenty three.
- 16:44I haven't used it. I'm gonna go on record to tell you I
- 16:47have never even heard the word at all in any kind of of its usage.
- 16:53Now, the word means style, charm, or a activeness, or
- 17:02the ability to attract a romantic or sexual partner. It riz it used.
- 17:11Uh the generation before this, it was your stee low, your your stee
- 17:18your your trip, your steed, that that that kind of that. It's
- 17:23just another Have you heard someone use this term. I've heard it used.
- 17:29I haven't heard it in conversation personally, but i've heard it used. Yes,
- 17:33bad producer. I heard a name rizzo riz, but I ain't never
- 17:37heard of using a sentence or anything COMANCHI have you since you're the youngest,
- 17:41have you been out here rizzing people? Uh? Because I've been on TikTok
- 17:45for more than five seconds. Uh it has come up. Uh, my
- 17:53friends, I just look as like it's a it's short. It's a shortened
- 17:56version of charisma and and uh yeah, it might as well have been cringing.
- 18:07Oh so, in other words, that song came through dripping like so
- 18:11it's a new drip word like if I'm dripping, I'm rising. I don't
- 18:15think you're using it, but I don't I don't understand what you don't understand
- 18:18this means attractive. I don't know. I got plenty of I'm saying,
- 18:23I'm play if I got plenty of charismas if I got to do with sexual
- 18:27and then if I'm drinking, if I'm dripping my shoes, I got on
- 18:32the fly shoes and I'm dripping my drip look good. So I'm rising.
- 18:37I guess you're attracting cut it's your clothes. It's like what you say and
- 18:45how you your energy. But your clothes that gives god. They don't myself
- 18:51when I hop into Bens, myself is steam changed. That's that's what I
- 18:55mean. People, they put on something different that helps yourself esteam, so
- 18:59that gives you the now bad producer. You think more like a child than
- 19:03any of us. So I trust what you say juvenile mind, and I
- 19:11know, respectfully, the most juvenile mind on the panel is yours, So
- 19:17I would trust what you say about that and how it resonates with well with
- 19:22him saying it's on TikTok now and not knowing exactly. And it made me
- 19:26just think that because it's charisma. For us, was a personality thing.
- 19:32But now the lines have been so blurred that the drip, the whip,
- 19:37all of that translates to what they see as your personality. Your personality is
- 19:42that you are a baller. So that is your now is in the dictionary
- 19:48itself, or these are just words they're putting in there now it might be
- 19:53now. So what happened to like when you guys introduced the word cap?
- 20:00What what is the need for the human spirit not to just say you're lying
- 20:07because you don't want it's not politically correct to tell somebody. It's more disrespectful.
- 20:15You think it's political correct for me to say, oh, you capping.
- 20:18Not not politically that's what I'm saying. I say, you're lying,
- 20:25that you're hurting their feelings. It hurts, Yeah, it hurts more.
- 20:27It hurts their feelings if you tell them their life. So that's why I
- 20:30say, it's tell them they'relying. I think. But if I know that
- 20:34the word cap means lying, you're telling me the same thing exactly. And
- 20:40I think that it's just it only would work if only me and you knew
- 20:42what the word meant. But if the third party knows what the word means,
- 20:48then he understands the lingo. The whole thing of cold is that only
- 20:52the people of the unit know. But if everybody knows that the word what
- 20:59the word means, then well it loses this idea of oh it doesn't hurt
- 21:04my feeling, not because of somebody. You're not speaking in code anymore because
- 21:10it only works when a few people know what it's being said. It used
- 21:12to be a generational thing, so the children who use words like cap were
- 21:18using it to talk about adults and some of their claims and advice that they
- 21:23thought were exaggerated. So it was working until adults started to decipher the code
- 21:30and use it for themselves. So the keyds keep changing it to make sure
- 21:34that we can't upset their ris. And the only reason I'm telling you this,
- 21:41Kenny Bad Producer, I guess because I was I have never been one
- 21:48who spoke. I either use the word, but I don't hear a word
- 21:52and then start introducing that word. So even in my years of man that's
- 21:59fresh or man that's dope, that's not how I ever communicated, I hear
- 22:11people, Man, that's a dope car, or that's man, you're looking
- 22:17so fresh. I was never that person to join in on the when you
- 22:22could just say what it is, and man, that's a nice car,
- 22:26and that's a dope junk. And when you just got through with that statement
- 22:33for the young people, then you could say no cap like saying I ain't
- 22:37lying, no cap. Or I could just say I'm not lying and use
- 22:41that other brain space to have a nice car. We'll be back more than
- 22:48a sports show after this, laughing much how we twitch changed with the name
- 22:59we still Hey, you're blocking with the best. Don't worry about white rocks,

- 24:17believe that coverage represents a critical piece of financial security, yet only forty nine
- 24:22percent actually have life insurance. When I was twenty five, me and my
- 24:25wife were just getting started with our family and thought we lived forever life insurance.
- 24:29Well, what's the last thing on my mind? What about you?
- 24:30Will you be leaving benefits or bills? When I was forty, with a
- 24:34kid in college and bills piling up, I was worried how my family was
- 24:37survive without me. That's what I'm in an appointment with the insurance informant.
- 24:41Information gives you power and life. Insurance gives your family security no matter what
- 24:45stage of life you're in. Now that I'm older, I don't worry about
- 24:48whether I leave my family with bills or benefits. The answer is easy,
- 24:52whether you're twenty five or fifty, whether you earn a little or a lot,
- 24:55all you need is the insurance informant to help you build a foundation of
- 24:57security, because without you, your family will have two options, benefits or
- 25:03bills. Which legacy will you leave behind? Log on today benefits or bills

- 25:47sports. John Wayne Gandy in the Raizo come out. I know you had
- 26:06to do a remis right. This is man, I get more butt than

- 26:19from handsome damn and get the throating Welcome back to this war Shock show.
- 26:23I'm this wat Shock Wayne againdie. The semi finals today at five Eastern time
- 26:32between the Pacers, the Indianapolis Pacers, excuse me, the Indiana Pacers and
- 26:37the Milwaukee Bucks in the first semi final. The Lakers versus the Pelicans in
- 26:45the second. This is going to be held out live from Las Vegas.
- 26:51The finals will be Saturday with the shadow once again. This is what the
- 26:57NBA is walking into. Last night, UNLV counciled their game versus Dayton all
- 27:06centered around another mass shooting. They approximate that around six hundred mass shootings have
- 27:15happened in twenty twenty three in our country, around forty thousand deaths due to
- 27:22those mass shootings yesterday on the University of Nevada Las Vegas campus, three dead,
- 27:33a fourth wounded. The rampage went on for about forty minutes. We
- 27:40seem to find ourselves at another junction. Las Vegas just had a huge shooting
- 27:47just a couple of years ago. You remember that mass shooting from the hotel
- 27:51room. They've had a couple other mass shootings as well since in between these
- 27:56two, our country once again is in the shadow of something that for a
- 28:07lot of people, even myself like really believe no steps are being taken.
- 28:15Seems like we're taking steps back to even addressing our whole addressing of this seems
- 28:22to be, well, let everybody have a gun. And from my little
- 28:30knowledge of history, we tried that in this country around eighteen seventy to eighteen
- 28:40ninety. They called it the Wild West. A supports that you called it
- 28:44the third grade, and we failed in and I don't know that adding more
- 28:53guns, making gun laws lax. Talking to my best friend last night who's
- 28:59a law enforce officer in Florida, he's even more reserved of enforcing the law.
- 29:07Based on Florida law without a license, lets you have a gun.
- 29:14Places like Texas the same way. So it's hesitant. If it's not.
- 29:19I don't get the cold that the crime is really really happening. I can
- 29:23no longer just at least have some idea when I run your license plate that
- 29:30you own a gun. Everybody can have a gun basically with no kind of
- 29:34permit in Florida. I don't want to get rid of guns. I just
- 29:40feel like a gun, ammunition, those kind of things should be the hardest
- 29:47thing to acquire in our country. That's how the law should be. It
- 29:56should be so strict, it should be so taxed that when you gotta have
- 30:04a gun, you're making a real life choice. I'm talking my economically personally,
- 30:15just having to bring this gun in every twelve months and show it and
- 30:19how many bullets? Well, last year it said you had twelve bullets.
- 30:25This year you showed up with ten. Where are the other two? I'm
- 30:27talking about to that kind of pressure to own a gun would be so serious.
- 30:37I need validation of gunlocks, gun boxes. Why aren't we taking it
- 30:45to the hardest extreme to have a gun? It's my only question, not
- 30:52removing them, but to have it. Seemed like it's harder to get health
- 30:56insurance. It should be the hardest when you can get Man, I got
- 31:02a gun, man, then what what? Man? Who you know?
- 31:07Like you almost have to know somebody you know? Am I being unreasonable?
- 31:11Please stop me? If I am, I'm saying how stringing it should be
- 31:15to have it, and it should be so fearful. If I use it
- 31:21and in the improper way that me pulling this trigger. We should have fear
- 31:30of how much time it should you should be So this is such a big
- 31:36decision. I know, I'm and this is in life. This is it.
- 31:40I shoot this person, all this, I didn't shoot them. The
- 31:45lawyer come in with his five thousand dollars suit telling me, uh no,
- 31:51all I mean it should be No one is gonna believe me that I didn't
- 31:55shoot this gun. I'm talking about let's take it to that degree and see
- 32:04what happens instead of just well, you know, if you get your hand
- 32:07on a gun, just walk around with it, or shoot somebody and be
- 32:10out of jail like Oscars Pastorias and in seven years or what's the Ray Caruth
- 32:20getting people murdered and shot, getting out time enough to still be in real
- 32:27life, like you know, the little sixteen seventeen years you spent and you
- 32:30took somebody life. I just know that once six hundred mass shootings along this
- 32:37year and forty thousand people from GUNBOYI there's a lot of people, gentlemen.
- 32:49Yeah, And I think that the the interesting thing is that your perspective in
- 32:55this country. I know that there are other countries that have a system akin
- 33:01to what it is you described. If you are a private citizen, well,
- 33:06first of all, private citizens can't by law own weapons, and if
- 33:09you do get one, it's one of those background checks with fringing prints every
- 33:15six months. We got to come in and do mentally value. It's very
- 33:19stringent, but in our country we seem to prefer the opposite. We make
- 33:24it easier. Georgia itself is a constitutional carry state, meaning that if you
- 33:30are not a criminal and nobody's checking, you can just walk into any place
- 33:34that sells a weapon and with your ID by a gun. Now, they
- 33:37do do background checks for registered retailers, but if it's a person to person
- 33:43sell, you don't have to do a background check. Some people are working
- 33:46on those laws, but they're making it easier to defend yourself. I felt
- 33:52my safety was in danger. I was armed. I shot that person.
- 33:59So we're living in a time where the gun is seen as a utility.
- 34:04It's your friend, something that you need, their safety, take your kids.
- 34:07And that's I think why a lot of the price of a car,
- 34:12Yes, that's what a gun should be. You got to take out a
- 34:15mortgage to get you a gun to get you a gun. I'm dead serious.
- 34:20That's how it should be in my mind. To reshuffle the deck.
- 34:28You give people a certain amount of time by twenty twenty five, so all
- 34:32those people can't say they didn't have time for all the guns you have.
- 34:37You have to come show me now if you use any gun outside of that
- 34:40that you I asked you, I've told you to bring them down here,
- 34:45show them to me so I'll have a record, a catalog record of it.
- 34:51And if I find you ever using any gun that I don't have on
- 34:57this sheet twenty years, what's these guns are supposed to be? Gun should
- 35:01be for twenty thousand dollars. It should be that kind of extreme to own
- 35:10a gun. When you look at these kind of statistical numbers we're talking about
- 35:17this year, is what three hundred and thirty odd days in? Well,
- 35:27we got twenty four days left something like that. So what do we have
- 35:31so three hundred and forty one days in? Yeah, and we've had six
- 35:37hundred mass shootings. It's like almost to a day today, almost to a
- 35:42day. That's to a day. That's a lot bad producer. I know
- 35:47you're a gun advocate. You believe it's not the gun, it's the people.
- 35:52Yeah, I'm always because I'm I'm I believe that. Thank God that
- 35:58we are in America where we'll allow the Second Amendment allows to have the right
- 36:01to bear arms to protect ourselves and defend. I mean, unfortunate situation.
- 36:07Things happened in that manner. Hold on, hold on, you said,
- 36:09the Second Amendment is to protect and defend. But in this case, the
- 36:17person was not hold on as you move your hand because you said something that
- 36:23triggered something. The person was not defending themselves or protecting themselves. They were
- 36:34actually assaulting. Yeah, there's a lot of people that go to soft zones
- 36:43like that. Those people are sick. Those people need to be taken care
- 36:45of. Just cause one bad apple that happens to have something that should end
- 36:51it should take away everything else from everyone else. I'm like I said,
- 36:54I'm a firm believer that people kill people. Guns don't kill people, and
- 37:00I'm gonna stick to that. I mean, I think that we all should
- 37:02have I mean, it shouldn't be that strenuous, That that bad. That
- 37:08what's the word I want to say? Strenuous, No, not strenuous,
- 37:13It's enough. What I'm saying is charging for a car, a gun,
- 37:19those things. That's a little extreme. I don't. I think that at
- 37:23some point, forty thousand people dead is not an extreme. But it's more
- 37:28okay, forty thousand people dead from attacking gun violence, not accidents on a
- 37:32street, because most accidents are what they say accident. If forty if six
- 37:39hundred people every year was taking their car and cramming them in people, then
- 37:45maybe they should take cars away. Well, the forty thousand, we had
- 37:47to see what the different reasons why they're were shot and what they were shot.
- 37:52They wasn't like all the forty thousand were killed from a mask people if
- 37:57you want to to a mask shooting. But I said in those six hundred
- 38:01mass shootings, forty thousand people. I didn't say all this is all the
- 38:07people that was shot this year, right, I said in the six hundred
- 38:12mass shootings. Correct. I just want to make sure people heard that that's
- 38:15correct. Well, I don't so, and that means that the forty thousand
- 38:19people that got shot had nothing to do with, right, the mass shoot
- 38:24or nothing to do with other why are you shooting me? Maybe? I
- 38:30mean we'll be back with more than sports Jock Show right after this, just
- 38:37to weigh be save up. People want to pay for me when I'm to

- 41:47say you can see a sports Jane, I'll see even back Jenny,
- 41:53Welcome back to this boy Shock show. I'm this boy Shock Wayne Gandy.
- 41:57Good morning to you, Good morning to you. Just remember as you move
- 42:04around, voting can change. Let's see what we can do. It might
- 42:12be a slow turn, maybe take a decade, but it has to be
- 42:15something more about gun violence addressing. We seem to be more enthralled in COVID
- 42:25than we are into mass shootings and a lot of times, what you don't
- 42:30do. I put myself that some parent yesterday got a call. I don't
- 42:39know the person, or maybe I do and just don't know. I know,
- 42:44but some parent, some husband, possibly some wife, some kid got
- 42:47a call about once again, the same gun violence in our country that's taking
- 42:55lives of people a lot of times have nothing to do with that person,
- 43:02just because that person wants to leave here or wants to enact revenge. And
- 43:08I will stand on. Like I said, it should be up. One
- 43:10of the hardest thing I don't I can't think of anything. I mean,
- 43:17we when I hear people adopt kids, it's a lot of red tape to
- 43:24adopting a kid. It should be right there, it should be known in
- 43:31society. It's so hard. I'm talking about even showing somebody your gun should
- 43:37be some kind of fine or incarceration that if I we won't see my thirty
- 43:45eight magnum, that should be if somebody that kind of it should be to
- 43:51that degree of of having a gun. And we can't we can't go to
- 43:57the gun range, we can't shoot, we can't practice shoot people who have
- 44:00land like the in rural areas. So you're saying that we can't go in
- 44:04our backyards and practicing all that, All that should be government control. That
- 44:09if you're going to a gun range, you got to go through some kind
- 44:14of where Okay, you can go to the gun range. When they get
- 44:17you in there. I've been to the gun range. It's so las to
- 44:22go practice shooting your gun that it's almost a joke. It's like going to
- 44:28get a workout in at a gym. That's about how much they ask you
- 44:34for what you want to shoot, how long, how muchmo and your driver's
- 44:38license. That's it. That's that's the whole, that's the whole setup for
- 44:47practicing shooting your gun or coming in here and taking a gun and shooting it.
- 44:52My biggest anxiety at a gun range is that I don't know who these
- 44:57other eight people are. If they just decided to turn around and start unloading,
- 45:05we would just be in here shooting at each other. Yep. And
- 45:09that's why I said it should be such a detail to get to that.
- 45:16That kind of costs, that kind of restriction just the highest level. Come
- 45:22on, government, Come on people, because we are the people who set
- 45:24the tempo of that kind of stuff. Go ahead, sir, so then
- 45:30we start. When you do that, we start having government control and a
- 45:32lot of other things that maybe you like, I didn't I didn't say government
- 45:36control. I said government ran, meaning that you have to go to the
- 45:39people. There are official sheriffs, and you got to let them see it,
- 45:45and they get to look at your face and see your temperament. They
- 45:51get to run you your your fingerprints. What about some of the people that
- 45:53have the government that haves that right to do that for you? What about
- 45:57that I'm not taking your rights away, I'm telling you that temperament. What
- 46:00about some of them that has guns, that have owners of guns. It's
- 46:05just being the ones that's looking at us that they shouldn't probably have them also.
- 46:08So then I just say for everyone, everybody, reshuffle the deck.
- 46:14I try to take away the gun. I try to take away the gun.
- 46:17Yeah, that's what you're talking about. Charge level the car, I
- 46:21said restricted. Well, and see, I think that this exchange for me
- 46:27is what I find most interesting is part of I, in my opinion,
- 46:32what makes coming up with some sort of definitive legislation to at the very least
- 46:37curtail a lot of this activity is the two sides are so extreme. You
- 46:43got one person who wants to see something happen that would reshuffle the deck and
- 46:51make it something that is tantamount to getting a pH d. Getting a gun
- 46:59is. It's the kind of thing that people would come around to, Hey
- 47:01man, I heard you got a gun. Didn't know you were so reliable,
- 47:05like one gun per neighborhood. And then you have one person who's almost
- 47:09romanticized gun ownership. No, you can't take it from me, and my
- 47:14children will have them by the pool and my you see what I'm saying.
- 47:17And those those people are the ones running to the polls because the people who
- 47:22allowed this legislation to stay in place are the people who are supposed to be
- 47:28speaking their voice. And we're the runs is running because we see our country
- 47:31is in There's a lot of things that's going on in our country right now
- 47:35that like at our border, that we believe. That's what we're not talking
- 47:38about. Let me finish, no, because I'm getting off the issue,
- 47:43because we could take a whole to our show and talk about this. But
- 47:50a gun should be as luxury an item as a ferrari. That's where it
- 47:58should be. It's the deadliest thing that we have. It's only used in
- 48:02most cases in a way to be intimidating or deadly. Half the people that
- 48:14I know to have guns. Maybe two thirds of them have never gone hunting,
- 48:20so that old I go hunting bs is not there. Have they killed
- 48:29anybody? Yeah, or shot at somebody or branded their weapon in intimidation,
- 48:38or have conversation about how they weighed on Big Kenny to try to rob them
- 48:45so they can let it off. It's a lot of people out there,
- 48:49like it's a lot of people. They weighed on and she to look like
- 48:54he was about to bump their car. Not that the guy, the Falcon
- 49:02guy. As we go to break what was the falcon guy? About two
- 49:05years ago up at the park in Gwinnett, the lady lady bumping car something.
- 49:10He shot out and started shooting at the lady. A little safety man
- 49:15from Missouri, Willie god was with something, maybe Williams or something. He
- 49:20was a safety here for Atlanta about three lady was in the car with a
- 49:23daughter. He played in Missouri. I can't think of his name. You
- 49:27think that feeling was he was waiting on a moment. Willie Moore, William
- 49:32Moore, Waam, some people are waiting. They can't wait. We'll be
- 49:38back with more of the Sports Shock Show right after this. They know him
- 49:43that they want to get next. That's why she hadn't a fit, because
- 49:45she wanted to get next to you. John Boy, Wayne Born of the

- 50:37commonly mixed with illicted drugs. It can even be pressed into counterfeit pills that
- 50:43resemble prescription medications. Just two milligrams, about the size of a few grains

- 51:08anyone can be a part of their school's performing arts. There are countless opportunities
- 51:13for students to participate, from theater, choir and band to speech and debate.
- 51:17The bottom line, if you want to perform, there's a place for
- 51:22you. This message presented by the n f HS and the GHSA. And
- 51:31now back to the sports John Wayne Gandy center Court on sports news gossip,
- 51:42blah blah blah blah, Hello the moment, Hello, Way back to the
- 52:02show. I'm this whatsh up? Wayne? A ginte. Cowboys head coach
- 52:07Mike McCarthy most likely will miss a Sunday's night game or at least standing on
- 52:14the sideline. Maybe they would roll him into the booth upstairs. But he
- 52:20underwent appendic surgery. Mike, I'm glad you went on and had it.
- 52:24You caught it early. If you don't know, I had appendic surgery about
- 52:30two years ago, but unfortunately it took me about seven days to recognize,
- 52:37which put me in the septic category, which put me with my head resting
- 52:43on the door of death. I was in the hospital for six and a
- 52:47half days. The first three days they were not sure I was going to
- 52:53make it, and it was all because I thought that it was just something
- 53:00else, And by the time it had flattened completely out, all of the
- 53:05appendix had went into my stomach and I actually had to stay in the hospital
- 53:13for six and a half days, wear a bag for two months after that,
- 53:17and then they were able to have the surgery. So if that down
- 53:22and yet lower stomach something kind of sharp feels like you got a stab wound
- 53:29in there, or somebody's pushing a sharp object, don't wait like the sports
- 53:35shop did, because you can find yourself knocking on that door very easy.
- 53:40Von Miller, the defensive end for the Buffalo Bills who turned himself in last
- 53:45week on the case where it never really said whether it was his girlfriend.
- 53:51It always kind of put it under the illusion that it was someone he had
- 53:58gotten pregnant, and she claimed that at first it was a domestic violence.
- 54:06Two days later, once at the vun it turned himself in. Her statement
- 54:10was that nothing happened. And now I guess I don't know how the NFL,
- 54:19which seems like they're going to let some cases starting to breathe, They're
- 54:22not going to just jump in and have people suspended. But he's expected to
- 54:27play on this weekend. Is von Miller in that game? Who does the
- 54:34Bills have? Let me check out Buffalo, Buffalo, Buffalo. They are
- 54:38playing at Kansas City on Sunday at four twenty five. So von Miller at
- 54:44least right now, you know, all he need is a couple of people
- 54:47to get a couple of protests banners, and the NFL will react to it.
- 54:54But it's just what they will do. What else do we have here,
- 55:02fellas twelve hundred players so far. We were talking about college and transfers
- 55:08a couple of days, a couple of shows ago. I was talking about
- 55:12quarterbacks in that instance, how they are using seem like as a free agent
- 55:16market commandchie greg says. In the first day along over twelve hundred college football
- 55:24players entered the portal. Now interesting enough, UGA's backup quarterback Van der Griff,
- 55:36who's a Georgia product. He has decided and as I said, quarterbacks
- 55:39seem to be using it as not just I'm behind somebody, but guys that
- 55:47even maybe starting somewhere are using it in a way to me induce a higher
- 55:57nil deal where else. That's uh, we're talking about with Ohio State's quarterback
- 56:02com Accord. He was the starter this year and he's he's in the portal
- 56:07and in the porter. You can you can put yourself in the portal and
- 56:13still go back. Or you put yourself in the porter, you have to
- 56:16leave, you you can, you can still go back. Okay, So
- 56:22that's what I'm saying. So you're using it as leverage for Ohio State to
- 56:25come up with more money. Yeah, or I will leave, or I'll
- 56:30break up with you. You gotta be nicer than me. I break or
- 56:32get out. And the same was the soul with the Oregon State DJ the
- 56:38layo. Yeah, he's would need a starter or did he get replaced?
- 56:43He was the starter? I guess what people are going to consider more in
- 56:46a different context that Okay, the coach just left took the Michigan State position.
- 56:52Uh. And he is also eligible for the draft, so he can
- 56:54choose either ORNA. He still has eligibility, and he's using that as leverage,
- 57:02right, for the next school, for the next school, or for
- 57:05Oregon State. Probably not for Oregon State. Well, you just said I
- 57:09can put it. It's possible. I just don't think so, just because
- 57:15of the coach leaving and what they're staying in what's left of the Pac twelve.
- 57:22He may be looking for one of these other power conference schools to boost
- 57:29his draft stock. But in a lot of times, we used to have
- 57:35these conversations and we talk about the draft stocked and things like that, and
- 57:37that used to be far more critically important before these kids started making tens of
- 57:44millions of dollars in college. There are some of them who won't even try
- 57:47to be drafted because they know they can make more money next season playing college.
- 57:52So is there any consideration for any of that, Like a team that's
- 57:58going to be competitive, a team that's going to help me stay in a
- 58:01high profile position to be considered for the NFL. When I can just do
- 58:06a bow knicks and I can play my entire what would be a football career
- 58:10seven because some positions only last in the NFL? What five average eight years
- 58:15something like that. If I can play that eight years in college and still
- 58:20make me until four dollars. It's the programs that are winning. So going
- 58:24to a winning program is still important, just in a way. Yeah,
- 58:30but I can go. I got a vast amount of schools I can transfer
- 58:34in and turn winning program. And the total number of eighty six players from
- 58:37the SEC, that was the number from all the schools. Only Alabama was
- 58:42the only school that didn't have anybody that hit the portal yet, Like,
- 58:45where did cam go? And that's a lot of number win the national championship

- 58:53That's what I'm saying. So there are kids who can do that. I'll
- 58:57go over here. They got me a nice little one point two million dollar
- 59:00deal for a year. I'll win the class for a national championship, and
- 59:07then I'll come back to Oregon. Yeah, because if I if I research
- 59:13and find out, well I'm a fifth round pick. Oh yeah, and
- 59:16fifth round pick only make seven hundred thousand dollars, Well, I might as
- 59:20well stay here. It's actually say they're gonna give me one point two I

- 1:01:30way you made Bill Vegan, Welcome I to the Sports Shock Show. I'm
- 1:01:35the Sports Shock Wayne Candy. Good morning. Tell you if you missed any
- 1:01:38of that first hour of the show, remember right after we go off,
- 1:01:43you can go to Apple podcasts and cads to replay or Spotify of the Sports
- 1:01:49Shock Show. Good morning, Big Kenny, Good morning Bad Producer, Good
- 1:01:52morning Command, chie Greg. We talked about a little bit of the nd
- 1:01:58season tournament, as we said that happens semi finals today Thursday Night football,
- 1:02:02the Patriots versus the Stealers. I'm a stiller guy, so I'll catch some
- 1:02:08of it, but really, I mean Thursday's kind of cold. Maybe want
- 1:02:14to start Christmas Shock? I don't know. It's seven and five, verses
- 1:02:19two and ten only bright spot for maybe you want to anything else? Yeah,
- 1:02:22maybe go ahead. You're a stealer. And you said you played for
- 1:02:29coach Kawer. Rich Eisen just got mad at still a nation calling for want
- 1:02:35Mike Tomlin fire. But once they pulled the stats up showing that his record
- 1:02:38is the same in many Super Bowl wins as coach Coward, and they were
- 1:02:42trying to say. You know, my thing I'm asking you is like,
- 1:02:47is there a difference? I mean, I mean they're the same. Would
- 1:02:52there be a difference in those two if consider their legacy? If they cause
- 1:02:58the Steelers are not a fire known the fire coach. But if something like
- 1:03:00that would happen to Mike Tomlin with that would tarnish his legacy as still a
- 1:03:05coach compared to Chilkenhle and Bill Cower. What he means tarnish it? Well,
- 1:03:09I mean you got the fa like I think the Steelers doing a great
- 1:03:13job. I mean for what you got. But you know, their fan
- 1:03:15base and a lot of people they're calling. That's why rich Eisen was just
- 1:03:19speaking that it's it's a travesty that to the fan base is going at to
- 1:03:23Mike Tomlin when he's remember the most winnings coach and still a history and he's
- 1:03:28got the same credentials as Bill Cower or whatever. But you but you're you're
- 1:03:31you're mad at him right now and you want him to go. So I'm
- 1:03:35just saying if if he was to, they would say, hey, we're
- 1:03:37gonna go ahead and terminate you or let you leave with that instead of like
- 1:03:42going out riding out like Chuck Noll or coach rid of So yeahs come on
- 1:03:57retirement. Yeah you know how that work. Well, that's what I'm saying.
- 1:04:00So you could be courteous in letting people go. Yeah, you don't
- 1:04:05have to send them a facts or text or email or they said you were
- 1:04:12going leave. Similarized, I said that like a Bill Parson. I'm not
- 1:04:17a Bill a Bill Belichick. It'll probably be more in a listen, Bill
- 1:04:24just will bet you it's us. Well, and that's the thing back to
- 1:04:29like, even in that situation, the Patriots gave up a lot to get
- 1:04:32Belichick, you know, gave drafts up, gave everything. Because I just
- 1:04:36recently watched the thirties to thirty again with the two Bills. Didn't even realize
- 1:04:40that all that went on in between that. But you think that these coaches
- 1:04:43they want to so it's like a force out with a nice retirement, and
- 1:04:48the young at Tomlin is he's going to go somewhere. He can't say he's
- 1:04:53going to retire because somebody's gonna want him in there organization. Well, that
- 1:04:59is true, but we have seen young coaches like Bill Cower retire and Bill
- 1:05:09was about how long Tumblin been there. It's been about seven thousand and seven,
- 1:05:15also like sixteen seventeen years, so Bill Cowr would have been fifty just
- 1:05:24about. Yeah, and that has something says saying, So Tumblin is what
- 1:05:27forty five forty six? I think when I wonder he was hired. I
- 1:05:32think he's like fifty five now because I think he was under forty when he
- 1:05:35got when he took the job. Right, So I'm just saying, I
- 1:05:40don't get I see what you're saying, but you don't see why the stillers
- 1:05:43who feel like Tumblin has kind of just hit that kind of plateau of that
- 1:05:48eighty and eight, nine and eight kind of feel for them. I could
- 1:05:56see that when almost two decades like you've kind of hit that kind of especially
- 1:06:00in today's sports, see coaches get they want coaches out who win win one
- 1:06:08year, but one year you in like Game four, it's a seventeen game
- 1:06:12season. That's where That's what I'm saying. The Steelers aren't known to do
- 1:06:16to do those type of things, and when you're coming from that organization,
- 1:06:19that's what I'm saying. Now, I see that cow That's why I said
- 1:06:25coward. We didn't see coward. You forced out? We saw we saw
- 1:06:28it. Just Hey, I'm just retiring, but you know not you think
- 1:06:30about it. But I don't know. I don't know bad producer that it's
- 1:06:34a force out. What what if we just feel like we've kind of balanced
- 1:06:42out, we can't go in another direction. We feel like you've lost that,
- 1:06:49we've lost their ear. You don't seem to have it there ear here,
- 1:06:55not as a coach that you can't go. But I'm saying, I
- 1:06:58don't understand why I can't let Mike Tomlin go. It would still fit into
- 1:07:02the whole. We keep coaches a long time. I mean, Mike Tomlin
- 1:07:06might be the only coach that's still other than A Belichick is still the same
- 1:07:11head coach since he was hired. Can y'all think of somebody else? Is
- 1:07:15that the same team since Mike Tumblin became the head coach. Actually, the
- 1:07:19person is besides Belichick is Pete Carroll. I think those are the three longest
- 1:07:25tenure I'm Pete Carroll. Okay, I think seventeen years as the head coach
- 1:07:30in modern race boorts is a loan like fifty years. And I'm saying and
- 1:07:35it's still a business. You sort of speak to the loyalty aspect of how
- 1:07:45the Steelers have operated as a team. But they are still a professional sports
- 1:07:49team, so they want to win. They want to bring the championships there.
- 1:07:55And if Tomlin's not doing that, then he probably would agree with them
- 1:07:59that may be we should try something different. And none of the other shuffles
- 1:08:02of the deck have worked. We've tried it here with the quarterback, We've
- 1:08:06tried it here with certain key personnel. Maybe it's time to change things from
- 1:08:11the top. And I don't think he would be reluctant. I mean he
- 1:08:13would probably look and go, hey, I had a pretty decent run and
- 1:08:16be willing to step down graciously. So you know, And and I think
- 1:08:20even with the Stellers these last couple of years, the whole thing has kind
- 1:08:26of been moral victories. With Tumblin, you've been hearing people, Well,
- 1:08:30you know he's never had a losing record, right, like, okay,
- 1:08:34a yeah, it's always been like that draft, the build of the first
- 1:08:41round, every time he kept control of the locker room at a boy.
- 1:08:44Tom So he's reached a point where, in my opinion, with the Stillers
- 1:08:47and anyone Instiller nation, it's like you could see why they would keep him
- 1:08:51for the continuity and he's a great coach like Tumblin is a great coach and
- 1:08:57the continuity, but you could see, well we kind of to have even
- 1:09:00golf, we're in that middle of the pack nine and eight, eight and
- 1:09:05nine kind of season. Now, if he can get to the playoffs,
- 1:09:09I don't think a coach that gets you to the playoffs with this team you
- 1:09:13let go. So still are still in the playoff hunt. Most likely if
- 1:09:17they can win three of these lives, get the ten wins, they'll get
- 1:09:23in. But I think I'm hoping, I'm answering you a question. Yeah,
- 1:09:28I mean that. But Bill Kylee was the coach there sixteen years,
- 1:09:35so Tomlin only had more years than him at this point. Didn't Coward get
- 1:09:39the job in like ninety two ninety three and left in two thousand and seven.
- 1:09:45So Tomlin's tenure there has been longer than Coward. Well, like I
- 1:09:53said, I mean, I would do you think that he would? I
- 1:09:56don't think. I don't see Tomlin going off like cow I see him going
- 1:09:58to another organization. If that was to happen, I would see him,
- 1:10:02you know, completely going to work for another organization. And maybe that's something
- 1:10:09he needs as a coach. Okay, I don't know. I mean,
- 1:10:15I didn't know you asked me about retirement. No, I'm just wondering if
- 1:10:18No. I was just wondering if that was the case of what was going
- 1:10:20on, because right now that's a big talk with I mean as far as
- 1:10:26in the like I said, rich Eisen, with him being who he is,
- 1:10:30and he's speaking about it, and he's upset to the fact that they
- 1:10:31are even having the thought about Mike Tomlin should be fired. So that's why
- 1:10:38you I'm asking you as a stealer nation, as a Steeler and not knowing
- 1:10:43knowing them and knowing the coaching and how they do that, should they fire
- 1:10:46that man or should they have let him have a chance to walk away?
- 1:10:48That's basically I think if Mike Tomlin does not make the playoffs. It would
- 1:10:54be a big consideration if he makes it. I think he solidified. I
- 1:10:58don't think it's a mark on him as a bad coach at all. It's
- 1:11:01just sometimes what you have to say no longer is resonating with the team and
- 1:11:05they want to go to a new direction. And how you're speaking is Mike
- 1:11:11supposed to die as the stiller coach, and not every coach wants to die
- 1:11:15on the side that Mike die as a steer. I'm so glad you said
- 1:11:21that, because I was thinking to myself, not everybody wants to be Bill
- 1:11:25Belichick and just growing to the golden oldie on the sideline. Maybe Tomlins himself
- 1:11:32is like, man, I've been doing this three years longer than I had
- 1:11:35planned to. And Bill Belichick is hanging on mainly just because he probably still
- 1:11:41wants to coach, but he's not going to coach anywhere else, right,
- 1:11:45So either I'm a coach here until this little bug lead, but I'm not
- 1:11:47about to pack up my office and drive and coach again. This is this
- 1:11:56is it a Nick Saban. They're not going anywhere else. Whatever a little
- 1:12:00bit. They're gonna do that. The tank We're gonna use on this race.
- 1:12:06Yeah, it's they're going home next or to a CBS box or or
- 1:12:12something like that. But I think that's what it is with But Mike Tomlin
- 1:12:15is not at that age what I mean, and you're looking at it.
- 1:12:18But then Bill Belichick has seven Super Bowls or something, so yeah, he
- 1:12:23does get to leave when he It's an interesting game tonight that you got two
- 1:12:29coaches that are possibly that will not be in the AFC again at the end
- 1:12:32of this year. Depending No, that's not interesting at all. Bill Belichick
- 1:12:35is seventy three. It's more interesting that he's still there than it is that
- 1:12:41he won't be there. The most seventy three year olds, most seventy three

- 1:17:46Now for you that are not fifty five and up, most of you
- 1:17:51have never heard of these shows. For most of this group of people,
- 1:17:57whether you watched them or not, you heard of these shows. They were
- 1:18:01great shows in the late sixties, seventies and early eighties. Archie Bunker,
- 1:18:08the Jeffersons, Good Time, All in the Family, Sanford and Son.
- 1:18:14They were they were radical shows for their time, Yes they were. TV
- 1:18:18was kind of stepping away from the black and white. They were actually starting
- 1:18:24as the seventies where you would have consistent where the couple would at least like
- 1:18:30kiss and use different verbiage. Nothing like today now, it's nothing like p
- 1:18:38Valley shows. They have paved the way. No, that's what I'm saying.
- 1:18:44I'm giving him, I'm giving you his due. But I don't want
- 1:18:46even to think that they're going to turn on Euphoria any of these other crazy
- 1:18:53sopranos. It's where pe Valley got their rigs, but it's where got their
- 1:19:00rids. Definitely, some of them shows. I never watched Pea Valley because
- 1:19:06my people have told me never to watch it. That's how radical it must
- 1:19:12be. So that's why I'm using it as a reference. Don't watch it.
- 1:19:15So I'm just saying nothing. But these were cutting edge shows for that
- 1:19:21time. Yeah, in the in the and you see, it was such
- 1:19:25a variety of shows. I'm wondering, did anybody have a moment like that,
- 1:19:30like similar to you. I asked about Pea Valley and somebody was like,
- 1:19:34you don't want to watch that? And I wonder if somebody was like,
- 1:19:38I wonder what that Sanford and Sons that it was like, nah,
- 1:19:41not for you watch Oh it was cutting it was cutting edge, you know,
- 1:19:45to a couple. That's what I'm saying. I'm trying to paint a
- 1:19:47picture of of how TV moved from in the sixties. If you watch the
- 1:19:55show, a bedroom scene are separate. In the seventies, radicalness was that
- 1:20:04they had a scene with the bed. Was they got in the same bed.
- 1:20:08Yes, that was radical for that time. Yes, it was Mike
- 1:20:12and Carol Brady actually had seen sitting in bed together. Yeah, that kind
- 1:20:15of it was radical TV. It's just those early stages of it. Taylor
- 1:20:21Swift has been voted as Time Magazine Person of the Year. I was wondering,
- 1:20:29Greg, look up, who did they have a second or third place?
- 1:20:31Because I was thinking you had to have like maybe Dion had to be
- 1:20:35at least three, And I was trying to think of who other two people
- 1:20:40if you had two more people for as we said, people whose name seemed
- 1:20:45to vibrate through twenty twenty three as just something everybody names that people just kept
- 1:20:53talking about. Yeah, they did have some runners up. Okay, who
- 1:20:58were they? Am Altman who created the open AI chat, GPT that kind
- 1:21:08of stuff. Since I was the big team this year, Barbie with the
- 1:21:12resurgence, especially with the film King Charles formerly Prince Charles, the Hollywood Strikers,
- 1:21:21Jerome Powell, Vladimir Putin, the Trump prosecutors, and Jee Jimping.
- 1:21:32Yeah, and I'm gonna go on record right here with your Comanche that none
- 1:21:36of those people came in my mental frame. I didn't see the Barbie movie.
- 1:21:43I heard Meg, I heard Meghan and her husband's name more than King
- 1:21:48Charles. Other than his coordination. Really haven't heard much about it, Sam
- 1:21:53Aupman. I might have read one article about him Hollywood strikers. I have
- 1:21:57no action of clue what that is. I haven't heard much about Putin this
- 1:22:03year in any kind of conversation. So and the prosecutors of who Trump Trump,
- 1:22:10I don't know. We've only heard about one of them, and that's
- 1:22:15coverage is mostly concentrated here in George. So that's a very interesting list.
- 1:22:19And when you said King Charles, I thought she was talking about King George
- 1:22:23for a moment. Yeah, I would have had like Dion as a name.
- 1:22:29And like I said, Kelly, and what's the Megan marcle and Harry
- 1:22:36and Harry and Harry before the Trump prosecutors, I had to put Trump Trump.
- 1:22:43Yeah, he seems to be the type of conversation everywhere I've heard the
- 1:22:47the Governor of Florida name more this year than I heard putin. It's interesting
- 1:22:57the list that people are in and I wonder what is the criteria for making
- 1:23:01their list. I'm sure they have a box that has to be checked off
- 1:23:05to even be considered. And we've seen what I would consider a lot more

- 1:26:59you to have not had enough of Coach Prime Dion senders they are dropping season
- 1:27:04two of the documentary of Prime Video. If you ever notice when Dion his
- 1:27:12two sons, people like Travis Hunter, who Comanche says has won the Paul
- 1:27:16Horning Most Versatile Award award I had never heard of until he mentioned it this
- 1:27:24morning, and rightfully so, Travis Hunter, who was starring on both sides
- 1:27:28of the ball. Full time, we've had guys spot check on each side.
- 1:27:31Usually start on one side and maybe play a couple of plays. Travis
- 1:27:35was trying to pull off the feet where he did both the whole season.
- 1:27:41But Coach Prime is on Prime Video. I didn't see Coach Prime season one.
- 1:27:48I did see season one in Colorado, which was four and eight.
- 1:27:51So maybe Coach Prime spend less time on Prime and more in the coaching room,
- 1:28:00Maybe remove the cameras, maybe get back to just that for a while.
- 1:28:04And I want to ask, how long do you think that happens?
- 1:28:08Now? Now, this is what I'm saying. When he first got the
- 1:28:12Colorado, the attention matched the antics, but now the distractions warranted the results
- 1:28:25of the ticket sales and the spotlight. Now all of that has diminished,
- 1:28:30But you still want to bring those cameras with us, and all they're recording
- 1:28:35now is people jumping in the transfer a portal and decommitting and you people breaking
- 1:28:42up with you. I'm saying break up. There is no more of that
- 1:28:46fan fare. Correct, So listen, Dion. Now, I mean because
- 1:28:50we're back to being the University of Colorado. Now, all of that's got
- 1:28:56to go that you can't you can't leverage all these boys come here for me
- 1:29:01because they're not doing that. Yeah, there's even more pressure to win season
- 1:29:05two. Oh yeah, and because the antics of season one did not match
- 1:29:12the record, and you're selling me a product of fame more than production at
- 1:29:18this point, if you don't go out and when and the things about distraction,
- 1:29:26to imagine that you have this kind of environment, I haven't seen the
- 1:29:29show, but I would imagine it involves where players are sitting places, being
- 1:29:33interviewed, being shown, any of that kind of it takes away from what
- 1:29:40we really came here to do. Yes, if you don't know it,
- 1:29:44really it really does. It seemed like we came here to do fame in
- 1:29:49Hollywood more than we came here to actually win the game. So hopefully you
- 1:29:58know, and I'm quite sure bad have you seen it the Prime Show?
- 1:30:03There's two of them. Yeah, thank you, Comanchi, because we've been
- 1:30:11back for like five minutes talking about the Prime video, and he asked me,
- 1:30:15have I seen the Prime Show? So let's move That means it's time
- 1:30:18to move on off of that subject. Thank you, thank you. I'm
- 1:30:24so glad you didn't take that little bit of baby. TJ, Who's Benzata,
- 1:30:30has filed a temporary restraining order in Los Angeles against a fifty three year
- 1:30:39old woman named Annette Marie who's Benzada. But Annette Marie, who's Benzada,
- 1:30:48is no way related to TJ. Who's Benzada. And you would imagine what
- 1:30:54a name like Who's Manzada that you would at least be a distant cousin.
- 1:30:59You know, you can find nine Johnson's in the same room and nobody's related,
- 1:31:03right, you know, who's Mensada? Come on that, little billy.
- 1:31:08First of all, find anybody in the building that can spell it other
- 1:31:12than a who's Menzada? Spell it? Can any of you spell it?
- 1:31:15H command you don't look down because I know you got the article over there.
- 1:31:17Spell it, big ken, I don't have h u e comanchi h
- 1:31:25o U s h. Then it gets confusing. Uh m A n z
- 1:31:31A d e h bront even now you still watch the prime video. H
- 1:31:44o U mozada m A d z A. No closer than anybody else,
- 1:31:51No command she was the closest, says Who's Benzada says a woman is obsessed
- 1:31:56with him. She changed her last name in an effort to get closer than
- 1:32:00him, and now he wants to court order to stay. Get it to
- 1:32:05court order so he can put it on file that this wild woman who seems
- 1:32:12to be harassing him, his wife, his family, trying to make contact
- 1:32:18with his wife, sending harassing mail personal items to his home. So forty
- 1:32:26six year old is asking the judge to order the woman to stay at least
- 1:32:29five hundred yards away from him and his family, as well as stop using
- 1:32:32his last name to try to gain access to his personal affairs. Now it
- 1:32:38doesn't say what her last name hold on. Okay, her name was.
- 1:32:43Her name was a net Selkirk. That was her legal name before she changed
- 1:32:49it legally to Who's man Zada. Do you all remember TJTJJ and Chad Johnson?
- 1:32:58They were the two receivers for the Bengals. They were they were the
- 1:33:01two star receivers on that team. Who's Menzada was kind of in that big
- 1:33:06like a Mike what's the guy for Tampa Bay? Mike Mike Evans kind of
- 1:33:12sigh, I remember a receiver. Uh, they were a great duo together.
- 1:33:16But TJ has had to get a restraining order from this lady. Sound
- 1:33:20sounded like something which it typically is something you might hear when a person is
- 1:33:26actually playing right, more than which which which makes which? Which? Makes?
- 1:33:31Uh? The real mississ Whosman? Zada probably like stalking you? How
- 1:33:40she get our address? TJ? She just gonna change her name. I'm
- 1:33:45married to you and don't know how to spay out. That's that's that's elaborate,
- 1:33:50that's what. No, no, No, It would be easy to
- 1:33:54find out who's Menzada because there's only one of them in the in the state
- 1:33:58in the book, right, look up Whoshmans. You just you just look
- 1:34:02up to as close as you can get the Whosman's side of and you'll see
- 1:34:05it. You don't know how to spell it, but you just get on
- 1:34:10that page and that yeah, anything else kind of did you mean? Yeah?
- 1:34:19And you'd be like, I guess that's how they spell it. But
- 1:34:24now I'm serious, and she's sending gifts and trying to get in contact with
- 1:34:27his wife, and say, what, our husband's cheating on us? What
- 1:34:30what is she trying to get in contact with the wife and say, I
- 1:34:33guess that he's mine? Have you ever had a stalker? Nobody's uh and
- 1:34:43see, I would say that for you men, For men, what we
- 1:34:47consider stalking has to be so specific that we've probably had stalkers and didn't even
- 1:34:53realize it. We were just calling them persistent. Oh girl, just you're
- 1:34:58thinking that you don't put it her. You know what I'm saying, She
- 1:35:00just can't leave me alone. But those are behaviors that are this is this
- 1:35:05is the second one against the same woman. Uh oh yeah, it's not
- 1:35:11a news stalking. She just intensifying to the name. She stepped it up.
- 1:35:15She probably was even as the first order expired. Why why, why
- 1:35:19why not make it permanent? TJ? Why not make it permanent? I'm
- 1:35:25saying that he got he under some heat at the house to answer some questions.
- 1:35:29Why why is it temporary? TJ? TJ, you ain't got so
- 1:35:33TJ. At least taking steps to protect your family from I don't know,
- 1:35:40I like that trying to protect himself. The Jacksonville jag Wars are pressing charges
- 1:35:48and looking for a former employee who through virtual credit card. Now explain that
- 1:35:59to me, you uh, tech geniuses. They were using a virtual They
- 1:36:02were head of the virtual credit card division, where the employee now is accused
- 1:36:09of stealing over twenty two million dollars from the franchise over a four year period.
- 1:36:17What's virtual credit card? Have I been using it and don't know?
- 1:36:20Well? Apple wallet play something like that, a virtual credit card where you
- 1:36:26can use your phone as your credit card, you can use your watch,
- 1:36:30you can order stuff and just with some sort of external link, you don't
- 1:36:39have to physically pull out anything money a card. You just cash app all
- 1:36:44this all sale, so all that falls on the virtual Yes, okay,
- 1:36:47so it's nothing I use it. I just want to make see if I'm
- 1:36:49susceptible. Was he stealing tickets? Was this person stealing ticket sales? Were
- 1:36:59they in charge of a virtual credit card? The cash they were in charge
- 1:37:03of the department for that, and they were using the money to buy They
- 1:37:12bought a house, they bought a Tesla, they chartered private jets, luxury
- 1:37:17hotels, a country club membership, and see this is the thing, and
- 1:37:21they're looking for virtual wallets. And this may be just how old is this
- 1:37:27person because it seems like a generational oversight where you would imagine that just because
- 1:37:32no one was physically they're handing you the money, that the money is somehow
- 1:37:36lost track of. How do you not think that someone's going to account for
- 1:37:41the price of a home, especially you at that job, you got to
- 1:37:45have some kind of financial background, did you know they're checks and balances?
- 1:37:48So, yeah, he's the he was the head of the financial planning and
- 1:37:55analysis. He's the manager of that department. Emitt Ptail, it's his name.
- 1:38:00He was in charge of the division. And the Jags are going to
- 1:38:04be looking for that twenty two million dollars returned to you. The thought maybe
- 1:38:13at about and you and you said that he's still looking for as far as
- 1:38:16Yeah, I guess there's still looking for him, Is that correct? Commanche

- 1:41:13Welcome back to the Sports Shock Shun the Sportshock Wing Candy. Good morning to
- 1:41:17you, Zach Wilson for the Jts, Jets, Jets, Jets, We'll
- 1:41:23be back in the starting line up to see what they can do this weekend.
- 1:41:30Uh, the Jets are taking on the Houston Texans and our man C.
- 1:41:35J. Stroud, the seven and five Houston Texans who are in a
- 1:41:41tight race there. Jacksonville is eight and four the Texans, and as we
- 1:41:46talked about Monday, the Coats or seven and five. So that division of
- 1:41:51the AFC South is real tight and shaping up. Because remember even with the
- 1:41:57Coats and Gardner Minshew, you're talking about a division with CJ. Stroud,
- 1:42:02Trevor Lawrence. You get Antonio Richardson, Anthony Anthony Richardson back in that fold
- 1:42:10for those and you got three teams right there with some young quarterbacks that could
- 1:42:13end up being a division going forward. Go ahead of your question that,
- 1:42:16Greg, So with Zach Wilson starting again, there was a report, I
- 1:42:21don't know how much truth there is that he was reluctant to go back into
- 1:42:28the starting lineup. They had Tim Boyle, they released him, they were
- 1:42:32talking about starting Trevor Simeon, and then the reporter is, okay, we
- 1:42:39may go back to Zach Wilson. There's that he was reluctant to go back
- 1:42:44and be the starter again. But then the coach Salah came out and said,
- 1:42:49oh, he's fired up to go back into the starting lineup. What
- 1:42:55if when seeing something like that, what do you think that is? As
- 1:42:58far as what if he was really really etant? What would the reason be
- 1:43:00that you think, well, because the bed is made that I won't be
- 1:43:03here and you're you're not going to keep me around in any capacity most likely
- 1:43:10going forward? This is my what third year with the team? I was
- 1:43:14a second pick overall, I didn't get the numbers I needed. Most teams
- 1:43:19around the league is going to see me as a backup. Even if Aaron
- 1:43:24Rodgers comes back and play, You're probably not going to feel like you're going
- 1:43:27to keep me. And so how does it really benefit me going forward?
- 1:43:33You pulled me for Tim Boyle, you pulled me for Trevor Semeo. It's
- 1:43:38kind of just I haven't even really given me any protection. You just made
- 1:43:44it seem like the whole offense is terrible because of me. Right, but
- 1:43:49even when you put those other guys in there, So coach Sala, the
- 1:43:58organization, nobody came out and say we just off track, we you know.
- 1:44:01And as I explained here, yeah, the first couple of games,
- 1:44:06when you saw Zach Wilson get in there, maybe you was thinking, oh,
- 1:44:10it's Zach. But then you go ten eleven games and say we ain't
- 1:44:14scored but four or five touchdowns. That's an offensive problem, not just the
- 1:44:17offensive coordinator either. To me, the letdown of Aaron Rodgers or the build
- 1:44:24up of him and those other players on offense must have been so high that
- 1:44:29they really tanked as far as their enthusiasm. When you watch Wilson the receiver,
- 1:44:36when you watch Dalvin Cook, Dalvin cooked at the ball like man,
- 1:44:40y'all could cut me tomorrow. He didn't look like he's out there to do.
- 1:44:43He's already upset that running backs don't get paid. Now, the reason
- 1:44:46I came here thinking Aaron Rodgers was gonna make up for some of that money
- 1:44:50with some playoff money or Super Bowl check. And so if I'm Zack Wilson,
- 1:44:57what is my enthusiasm to go back in front of this Jets fans and
- 1:45:00let them bash me and boo me for everything? And even in his I
- 1:45:06protect a young man from he was loving Aaron Rodgers being the starter so he
- 1:45:13could learn. Zach was young when they got him, A lot of people
- 1:45:15didn't think he should go that high. It was more of a potential,
- 1:45:19and he was probably looking so forward, like, man, I'm gonna have
- 1:45:23a full year to kind of interne a good year of interning behind one of
- 1:45:30the legends, and I end up back out here. So his mind was
- 1:45:35most likely wasn't even ever thinking I was on the field this year, so
- 1:45:41and then so. And I'm not saying, but I think his bed is
- 1:45:44made there in the media with the fans, Big Kenny, anyone. So
- 1:45:47he looking like, what is this? These nas three or four games supposed
- 1:45:54to do anything for anything? And that's what I was thinking, like,
- 1:45:58well why, wow too, why why now? I mean, you know,
- 1:46:02and like you're playing for nothing, and it's hard to put pull athlete
- 1:46:10in his position. Same thing I told you here in Atlanta. You gotta
- 1:46:14make sure when you pull Desmond renter Ridder it's gently they're young. This is
- 1:46:20different. These kids ain't even twenty five. It's all about confidence. You
- 1:46:26pulled me, put this guy in, and you call me back eight minutes
- 1:46:30later. Hey man, you know when we were just saying like we're gonna
- 1:46:34let commands ago when we said you were trash, you would never play in
- 1:46:40this league again. But that means but that was considered motivation, Like you
- 1:46:45know, I'm gonna pull you for a minute. See this man got a
- 1:46:47chance to do your job. You get over there and you're like, I
- 1:46:50gotta I gotta step up. I can't let this happen. I can't let
- 1:46:53it. That's high school. I told you, I told you your range
- 1:46:56of knowledge of sports. I'm just saying no, I'm no. I'm saying
- 1:46:59that there is no motivation in the pros like that. I'm just I'm a
- 1:47:03professional. You playing with my money, benching me makes me distruggled and wants
- 1:47:09me to let you, wants you to let me go so I can go
- 1:47:12somewhere else and play right in the pros. It does not say, oh,
- 1:47:16I'm trying to motivate you. It does not say when his contract is
- 1:47:19up, we want him. It's not a great marketing tool when people are
- 1:47:25benching you's and you're the starting guy. That's never good. Yeah, that's
- 1:47:29not it. Carmelo Anthony, the Bad Producer, says there's rumors that maybe
- 1:47:32the Pelicans who played a night against the Lakers in the semi finals of the
- 1:47:38n Season Tournament. You say you saw an article where they reached out the
- 1:47:41Carmelo Yeah, Carmelos made a statement that the Pelicans had reached out to him.
- 1:47:45But he say whether or not he was gonna entertain the offer or wasn't
- 1:47:48going to entertain it or not. You think the Pelicans. I hadn't seen
- 1:47:53the Pelicans play. I'm playing on checking them out today. Well, it
- 1:47:56was before during last season, before he announced his retirement, so that's not
- 1:48:01contacted him about so you okay it was it was before the season this season.
- 1:48:06Yeah, okay, all right, we'll do all right. We gotta
- 1:48:10make sure we check it on les. Yeah, but he has been talking
- 1:48:15about we'll give him like Zach Wilson will give him a little lee room because
- 1:48:17he he has been said, well, y'all playing with my emotions by taking
- 1:48:25me out and putting them, we'll be back. You took yourself out.
- 1:48:29That's different that the sports, Joe, You're well, don't go awayne more
- 1:48:54of the sports. John Hill with Wayne Gambyes coming up next. What is
- 1:48:58dedication? The thing that me every day as a dad is Theriana what we
- 1:49:01call on day eight. For sure, every day he's hungry for something,

- 1:51:10how they intermingle on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy. Welcome back to
- 1:51:34the Sports Shock Show. I'm the Sports Shock Wayne, can't he good morning?
- 1:51:38Uh bab so real quickly, real quickly, yes, sir, because
- 1:51:42you would know more about this than any of us at the table as far
- 1:51:45as I can imagine, about this revised golf ball. In twenty twenty eight,
- 1:51:53they are saying they are going to install the revised golf ball to limit
- 1:52:00what distance? Why? Because apparently they're hitting the ball a little bit too
- 1:52:06far. It's like the average drives. Now, hold on, I was
- 1:52:13hoping you started there. So I wake up at five am every morning.
- 1:52:23I go out from five am to eleven am, about six hours pick practicing
- 1:52:29my driving. So different drivers use a different balls from seven year old until
- 1:52:35I'm seventeen. I mean, my drive game is so on point that they
- 1:52:44make commercials. I hit the ball so far. Now you want to make
- 1:52:47a ball to limit and suppress my greatness. So that's like telling Steph Curry
- 1:52:59he can't shoot the ball. See after making a driver and a ball that
- 1:53:03goes farther. Well, well, here's the thing is. That's one of
- 1:53:08the things. But over the last say ten years or so, people like
- 1:53:12the greatest Jack Nicholas have said the ball is the problem because the manufacturers each
- 1:53:16year they're coming out with new clubs and the clubhead speed. The average clubhead
- 1:53:19speed right now is a one hundred and twenty miles an hour, which averaged
- 1:53:23out bout one hundred and seventy six miles an hour ball hit ball speed.
- 1:53:26So they're trying to dial it back to like one twenty five up to one
- 1:53:30to twenty five clubhead speed, one eighty three ball speed. But the bottom
- 1:53:34line of it is, yeah, you can hit the ball. Fuck you
- 1:53:39still have to hit the shots, regardless if they put the risk, as
- 1:53:43we're calling it, the restricted plate on the golf ball. It's a this
- 1:53:45is their NASCAR's version of golf of restricted plate. But my game, there's
- 1:53:50some golfers, that's all. There are some golfers who their edge is their
- 1:53:58ability to drive. There's some golfers their edge is putting well that they are
- 1:54:04a mediocre a medium driver. Yeah, but once I get on the greens,
- 1:54:11you know how this smoke go. I'm two shots and from any green,
- 1:54:15just drop me on the green somewhere in game over that some people's game
- 1:54:19is that is that not We've watched some people, but since some people put
- 1:54:24them together and they make legends. Like a Tiger Woods, I do both
- 1:54:28of them. I get them, I drive it and I put it.
- 1:54:30Well. See the thing about it, though, and let me correct that
- 1:54:33that. See the set up, the course set up also could be a
- 1:54:38little bit tougher in some of these tournaments. But Tiger wasn't that great of
- 1:54:42a drop. He hit it far, but he didn't hit the fairway as
- 1:54:45much. He was such a great he hit. He knew how to get
- 1:54:47out of trouble. And once, like you said, he had a great
- 1:54:49short game, and once he got around the green, it was on the
- 1:54:53green, it was automatic. He was the object of the game. Get
- 1:54:56the ball in the hole. So it's not about this drive for show.
- 1:54:59And as we say in puff Fode, but why are you limiting me?
- 1:55:04It's like baseball telling a guy, look, you can only throw the ball
- 1:55:09ninety eight miles per hour. If you throw it ninety nine, we're gonna
- 1:55:15put you out the game. Unfair. Well, the great, the late
- 1:55:19great Payne Steward, US Open Champion, great golfer, he said it years
- 1:55:23ago. It would be fun to have see all the pro guys come out
- 1:55:27and play with the same ball. Same clubs and everything in a tournament,
- 1:55:30because if you know, golf is the only sport where it's not just one
- 1:55:36ball that's regulated what you play with. Like with football, you play with
- 1:55:40the Wilson basketball to Wilson or the Nike whatever, or with baseball, you're
- 1:55:45playing with that one ball. With golf, you got Titleist, you got
- 1:55:47bridge Stone, you got Taylor made. So every manufacturer does his own thing
- 1:55:53with the ball. So they're trying to really curtail I mean, bring back
- 1:55:59down that back in a sense. But in the tournament, which like I
- 1:56:02said once again, they're trying to get away where one person can just play
- 1:56:06with the ball one ball, possibly everybody play with the same ball. Just
- 1:56:11seems like you're taking my advantage if that's my game. My game is that
- 1:56:15I can drive the ball ten yards fifteen yards further than you. I mean,
- 1:56:20should Tyreek Hill have to slow down? Yeah? Right, you can
- 1:56:29run, but you can't run run. But that's the thing about it.
- 1:56:32I mean, there's some guys who hit it far as some guys who hit
- 1:56:34the me. They might have one hundred yards in, but once they get
- 1:56:36the pitching wedge, they're shaken. I may have they might have hit it.
- 1:56:41That's what I just That's what I just said. My game might be
- 1:56:44driving to make up what I can't do on the greens exactly. So your
- 1:56:49game might be that you're a great greens player, and are you going to
- 1:56:55somehow modify that so the players that are better on the greens? It averages
- 1:56:59out because I used to get to the green in two strokes. Now you
- 1:57:03got this ball and it's taking me three to get to the green. Now
- 1:57:06is when we get there, how are you going to make it even so
- 1:57:11that we can stay on park? Well, I mean that once again,
- 1:57:14you still have, like we say, regardless of what they do, you
- 1:57:16still have to hit shots. You still have to get out there in practice.
- 1:57:19The bottom line, you're gonna have to hit the hit the shot regardless,
- 1:57:24and if the player who has a shorter he's still gonna have more distance
- 1:57:29than the player that they regard, because everybody's gonna lose distance regardless. If
- 1:57:33I'm hitting it to seventy five, that's all you were hitting it anyway,
- 1:57:36to seventy five, I was hitting three hundred. Well, you'll still hit
- 1:57:41it. You might lose twenty five, you'll be at two seventy five and
- 1:57:44I'll be at too fist. But you're killing me on the greens because you
- 1:57:45always greater. But see, I still, I mean, I still,
- 1:57:48it's still approaching. You know, you still got to hit the shots.
- 1:57:51Well, maybe maybe maybe the three of us don't understand golf. I don't.
- 1:57:56I just I just know from what I knew of golf. Some people
- 1:58:00said they made up for that one stroke they would have lost on the green.
- 1:58:02Yes, with the ability to drive the ball thirty yards further on the
- 1:58:09drop. And I know, guys that will tell you I can't put that
- 1:58:13well, But I hit the ball a ton and I'll get there in two
- 1:58:16or three strokes quicker than anybody else revised golf balls. And we are in
- 1:58:23the ocean. The truth is he will throw your to the ocean. It's
- 1:58:29time to wrap things up on the Sports Junk Show with Wayne Candy. When
- 1:59:03it decide an ocean to give to this mort shot Just a minute, tourevin,
- 1:59:06we'd like to thank you for tuning in into today's show. Uh.
- 1:59:11Caitlyn Clark, I see you from Iowa. I saw you last night.
- 1:59:15Break three thousand points in your career. If you haven't seen that young lady.
- 1:59:19She is the new Steph Curry that she can shoot from anywhere on the
- 1:59:26court. NCAA President Charlie Baker has proposed rule changes that would allow the Vision
- 1:59:33I schools for the first time to pay their athletes. I tried to tell
- 1:59:45you, it's just semi pro football. All the gates of hell open,
- 1:59:51call your booster. Just start writing the checks. Take out the education,
- 2:00:00take out the schooling, stop the game that we're here to educate the bright
- 2:00:04and young, and just call it semi pro. Stop sending people to class.
- 2:00:12That's basically what you are saying. I don't know why y'all are joking
- 2:00:15around. Get that money to some people who really want to go to school
- 2:00:18to get an education. How about helping those people out, because you're just
- 2:00:23pretending this is a job, this is a work release program. Were just
- 2:00:28working and online with angel Reaes taking a couple of classes. Come on in
- 2:00:35see double A. Stop it, drop it and become semi pro. That's
- 2:00:40all you're doing. You're the G League, developmental League, whatever you want
- 2:00:45to call it. For the NFL. You are not educating anyone. So
- 2:00:50drop words like tied to educational resources. Who you're educating, you think Travis
- 2:00:58Hunter and should do or say to really go to class? Be real,
- 2:01:02why NCUBA President Charlie Baker be honest, Let the people, let the kids
- 2:01:11free, pay them, but stop trying to do it under the umbrella of
- 2:01:15education because nobody is considering that. Think about the last time you heard anybody
- 2:01:23mentioned the graduation rate during the Grand Game. They don't even show you that
- 2:01:28statistic. No more so for that nc double a fuckd up clank form kiddy
