- 1:21Speaker 3: they are a wizz.
- 1:22Speaker 1: So yeah, it's too bad, But what did you expect?
- 1:25Speaker 2: It's a podcast called twenty five.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Whistles Wine trying to blow it. Everybody's looking at me
- 1:33Speaker 1: weird because today reads all nervous. Kevin looks tight. Because
- 1:36Speaker 1: if we get to figure out, man, this is a
- 1:40Speaker 1: Super Bowl week.
- 1:42Speaker 3: Attention in the room.
- 1:42Speaker 1: I haven't thought about it at all. And so we
- 1:44Speaker 1: will play a game today and if Reid wins, he
- 1:48Speaker 1: gets the final ticket. If Kevin wins, there's one more
- 1:52Speaker 1: game to go. So we'll do that coming up. What
- 1:55Speaker 1: are the games? Do we know? Yeah? I do? We don't.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Are you the only one that knows? Or does the
- 2:02Speaker 1: Mike know? Eddie know?
- 2:03Speaker 3: I don't know anything?
- 2:04Speaker 1: No, I mean I know. Okay, so we'll come back.
- 2:06Speaker 1: We'll do that, and we have the owner of the
- 2:09Speaker 1: Chiefs coming up too, which is really awesome. Clark Hunt, Yes,
- 2:11Speaker 1: big time. Let me do a couple late breaking news things.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Number One, Miles Garrett just requested a trade from the Browns,
- 2:18Speaker 1: and so I'll read you this. As a kid dreaming
- 2:20Speaker 1: of the NFL, I focused on was the ultimate goal
- 2:22Speaker 1: of winning the Super Bowl. That goal fuells me today
- 2:25Speaker 1: more than ever. My love for the community of Northeast
- 2:27Speaker 1: Ohio and the incredible fan base of the Browns has
- 2:30Speaker 1: made this one of the toughest decisions. And then he
- 2:33Speaker 1: goes on is with that in mind, I requested to
- 2:35Speaker 1: be traded from the Cleveland Browns, signed Miles Garrett. I
- 2:38Speaker 1: don't blame him.
- 2:39Speaker 3: So he wants to go to the Cowboys.
- 2:40Speaker 1: He wants to go, and he wants a shot at
- 2:43Speaker 1: winning because I think even he sees that even two
- 2:49Speaker 1: three years from now, it will be difficult for what
- 2:51Speaker 1: they have there. And a lot of that is based
- 2:53Speaker 1: in the Deshaun Watson we have no money and no
- 2:56Speaker 1: quarterback situation. Yeah, and I think it probably sucks for him,
- 3:00Speaker 1: And I think that's why he also puts out a
- 3:01Speaker 1: statement is to be as transparent as possible. Most people
- 3:05Speaker 1: when they request to trade, they don't do it so publicly.
- 3:08Speaker 1: He's doing that because he probably feels like he owes
- 3:10Speaker 1: it to Cleveland to go. Guys, I've loved it here,
- 3:13Speaker 1: but I want to win. Yeah. And also let's not
- 3:17Speaker 1: forget and it gets into the Luca stuff too. In
- 3:19Speaker 1: a second. These are businesses like these owners are no
- 3:25Speaker 1: more loyal to you than you are to them, than
- 3:28Speaker 1: our bosses are to us than we are to them.
- 3:30Speaker 1: These are these are businesses to the other companies. Everybody,
- 3:34Speaker 1: every single person in this room is disposable. As soon
- 3:39Speaker 1: as you're not producing more than you're making, you're done.
- 3:44Speaker 1: And also, as from the player or talent perspective, if
- 3:47Speaker 1: you're feeling like you're not getting enough for what you're doing,
- 3:50Speaker 1: you can either wait for your contract to end or
- 3:51Speaker 1: you can ask out. Now, our job's all different. I
- 3:54Speaker 1: can't really be traded, but I.
- 3:58Speaker 3: Would be kind of cool, be weird.
- 4:01Speaker 1: It's like we got we got a bad read contract.
- 4:04Speaker 1: We gotta dumb the bad contact. Uh so he has
- 4:08Speaker 1: he has requested to go. Thought that was interesting. It
- 4:10Speaker 1: just popped across the line. So it'll probably be an
- 4:12Speaker 1: hour or two old by the time this And you
- 4:13Speaker 1: can't be mad as a Browns fan, right, You'll be like, hey,
- 4:15Speaker 1: you cannot. Yeah, he's always been good to them. You
- 4:18Speaker 1: can be disappointed, but I think you know the situation
- 4:20Speaker 1: you're you know, the boiling pot that you're in. Yeah,
- 4:23Speaker 1: I ain't good.
- 4:24Speaker 4: So you're probably hoping, like, hey, hopefully goes to a winner,
- 4:27Speaker 4: winning team as long as not the Ravens or the
- 4:28Speaker 4: Steelers or something.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Maybe I think you're root for him. Yeah. I also
- 4:32Speaker 1: think that as a Browns fan, you go a that sucks,
- 4:36Speaker 1: like defensive Player of the Year domination. He's leaving. I
- 4:39Speaker 1: get it. But also what's exciting is you're gonna get
- 4:42Speaker 1: a lot for it. Yeah, you're gonna get a lot
- 4:43Speaker 1: of picks. You're going to get a shot to rebuild,
- 4:47Speaker 1: which isn't gonna happen in the next year or probably two.
- 4:51Speaker 1: But also with Deshawn's achilles injury again, he's probably never
- 4:55Speaker 1: going to play football again. Yeah. Also, he ruined it,
- 4:59Speaker 1: and again he was the first to get it. He
- 5:01Speaker 1: also could have made it a thing, but the guaranteed contracts, right,
- 5:05Speaker 1: he ruined it that that will not be a thing now.
- 5:08Speaker 1: If he would have succeeded in Cleveland, I think you
- 5:10Speaker 1: would have seen a lot of quarterbacks getting it and
- 5:12Speaker 1: being like Deshaun Watson got it, but he killed he
- 5:14Speaker 1: killed any chance of that happening.
- 5:16Speaker 3: Yep.
- 5:17Speaker 1: So okay, that's number one and number two. Again, we
- 5:21Speaker 1: are as of now right now mostly a football podcast.
- 5:25Speaker 1: But when I saw the Luca eighty trade come across, I,
- 5:30Speaker 1: like everybody else, thought that, like Champs was hacked, right,
- 5:34Speaker 1: I thought, I really did. Or at first I thought
- 5:37Speaker 1: it was one of those parody accounts on Twitter, and
- 5:40Speaker 1: then I said, I saw the check mark, but then
- 5:42Speaker 1: anybody can buy a check mark, but then it's a
- 5:43Speaker 1: gold check mark if you're like a business a media platform,
- 5:48Speaker 1: and I was like, Religi.
- 5:48Speaker 3: Wow, yeah, what's what's your checklist?
- 5:50Speaker 5: Like?
- 5:50Speaker 3: Do you just go Google and see if any other
- 5:52Speaker 3: outlet is covered.
- 5:53Speaker 1: I immediately went to ESPN because I knew on their website
- 5:56Speaker 1: there would be no sort of hacking. Yeah, and so
- 6:00Speaker 1: that was a crazy trade, insane. So they're again I've
- 6:03Speaker 1: watched and I've heard a million people talk about it.
- 6:06Speaker 1: My even understanding from people I know that are three
- 6:11Speaker 1: degrees from the organization, not of LA but of the Mavericks.
- 6:18Speaker 1: There are things I think that we don't even know
- 6:20Speaker 1: about how bad it had gotten between Luca and the Mavericks.
- 6:24Speaker 1: And they also were got to paying three hundred and
- 6:26Speaker 1: eighty million dollars for a Supermax deal. They didn't want
- 6:28Speaker 1: to do that because they didn't feel like his body
- 6:31Speaker 1: was going And I think too, you're seeing with Joel
- 6:35Speaker 1: Embiid exactly what happens when you pay somebody like that
- 6:38Speaker 1: and they're hurt all the time because they can't keep
- 6:39Speaker 1: their body in shape. And I think, yeah, yeah, And
- 6:42Speaker 1: I think they didn't want to get involved in one
- 6:44Speaker 1: of those. I have friends that are die hard Mavericks
- 6:46Speaker 1: fans and just that have just been gutted by it. Gutted,
- 6:51Speaker 1: especially when you have no idea, correct And the fact
- 6:56Speaker 1: they were able to keep that quiet for two weeks
- 6:58Speaker 1: props and that Jason kid didn't even know. And he's
- 7:01Speaker 1: the coach of the Mavericks. It's wild and nothing is secret,
- 7:04Speaker 1: but for real, he didn't know, Like for real he
- 7:06Speaker 1: said he didn't. I watch him with the press conference again.
- 7:08Speaker 1: He can be a great actor.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Yes, well, I mean Luca definitely didn't know, right, Nobody
- 7:13Speaker 3: didn't seem like it.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Yeah, nobody knew. And I imagine too, he has this
- 7:16Speaker 1: season and next season and then it's signed an extension
- 7:19Speaker 1: to get the most you can get for him, and
- 7:20Speaker 1: if you're already not feeling it, you got to get
- 7:22Speaker 1: the most you can get. And they knew it was
- 7:24Speaker 1: not going to be a popular trade. But that that's
- 7:26Speaker 1: the craziest trend I've ever seen. I think it may
- 7:27Speaker 1: be one of the craziest ever in the history of
- 7:28Speaker 1: the NBA.
- 7:29Speaker 4: It's yeah, I'm trying to think and not be like
- 7:31Speaker 4: hyperbole here, but probably the craziest of my lifetime in
- 7:35Speaker 4: the NBA especially.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean the compensation too, is not even that much.
- 7:39Speaker 3: I mean, like Rudy Gobert was like, what four first
- 7:41Speaker 3: round picks. This was only one first round pick.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Well, but ad though, is better than any pick. He
- 7:46Speaker 1: It's true. But yeah, parentally the first or second defensive
- 7:49Speaker 1: player of the year behind Gobert or Wemby now too,
- 7:52Speaker 1: but and offensively if he can stay healthy and he
- 7:54Speaker 1: has stayed pretty healthy. But again, the fact they didn't
- 7:58Speaker 1: open it up, and it's say, hey, we're offering Luca,
- 8:02Speaker 1: who will give us what all the conspiracy theorists are out.
- 8:05Speaker 4: And let it be a bidding war from there, right,
- 8:07Speaker 4: And the Lakers, I mean, it's the Lakers and then
- 8:10Speaker 4: the Mavericks play in the West and they're gonna see
- 8:12Speaker 4: them possibly win for the next ten years.
- 8:14Speaker 1: I was thinking though, like if you were just to
- 8:16Speaker 1: walk down and we won't spend a whole much time
- 8:18Speaker 1: talking about basketball in Super Bowl week. But this was
- 8:19Speaker 1: a crazy, crazy trade. I was thinking, like, if I
- 8:22Speaker 1: went number one down as far as the best players
- 8:25Speaker 1: in the NBA and who because you want to get
- 8:30Speaker 1: a great play. You just don't want to get a
- 8:31Speaker 1: bunch of picks because picks a lot of times don't
- 8:33Speaker 1: pan out. So you definitely need something extremely substantive from
- 8:38Speaker 1: this trade. So, okay, who's not gonna get traded? Number on,
- 8:43Speaker 1: Jokich is not getting traded, so he's probably number one.
- 8:46Speaker 1: You can go Joannice is not getting traded from the Bucks.
- 8:50Speaker 1: I'd say, SGA Oklahoma City not leaving. Yeah, then you
- 8:55Speaker 1: can go. Anthony Edwards does not lead it, They're not
- 8:57Speaker 1: gonna get it from And also that one just that
- 9:00Speaker 1: that that one wouldn't make sense anyway. Yeah, Tatum Tatum
- 9:04Speaker 1: not leave him from Boston, So you get to like
- 9:06Speaker 1: the eighth or ninth guy, and he's like the best
- 9:09Speaker 1: one of it. You want something substantive that. I think
- 9:13Speaker 1: that and they got a twenty nine first. Yeah, crazy trade.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Saturday was crazy in general. Yeah. I woke up at
- 9:19Speaker 1: three in the morning and saw it and I was like, what.
- 9:21Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the thing. I fell asleep.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Huh, I woke up to it.
- 9:23Speaker 3: Crazy. I didn't believe it. Yeah.
- 9:25Speaker 1: I was just like that man, somebody hacked or it's
- 9:28Speaker 1: a parody account. Then when I saw it on the ESPN,
- 9:30Speaker 1: I was like, dang, I can't went to her. Bill
- 9:31Speaker 1: Simmons says about this, and that's what I did. I know, Yeah,
- 9:33Speaker 1: I listen to the whole thing. Yeah. Yeah, you go
- 9:35Speaker 1: to certain people for certain things. Yeah, and that was it.
- 9:38Speaker 1: So uh that Saturday in general, and I just kind
- 9:42Speaker 1: of walked through my Saturday night. So the Luca thing,
- 9:45Speaker 1: the Luca eighty trade was crazy. Coach Cal goes into
- 9:49Speaker 1: rupt and obviously I'm a big razorback fan. We have
- 9:51Speaker 1: not had a good season. A couple of those reasons are.
- 9:55Speaker 6: One.
- 9:56Speaker 1: When Cal came to the team, there were no players
- 9:58Speaker 1: on the team at all, so we had to kind
- 9:59Speaker 1: of start from scratch. He didn't even sign ten guys.
- 10:00Speaker 1: He signed nine guys, nine scholarship players, there's been a
- 10:05Speaker 1: bunch of injuries. Also, they haven't jailed. We've spent a
- 10:08Speaker 1: bunch of money on the players. It has not been
- 10:10Speaker 1: really the year that we had hoped for. Been very disappointing.
- 10:13Speaker 1: We were one in six in conference play, like fourteen
- 10:16Speaker 1: to eight overall, which played a bunch. They basically played
- 10:18Speaker 1: us for three games. They played the Whistles basketball.
- 10:20Speaker 3: Team, so five of us, Yeah, let's go.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Arkansas goes to rub which is Lexington, to play Col's
- 10:32Speaker 1: old team, and they boot him hard. And I did
- 10:35Speaker 1: not know how he would be received because he did
- 10:39Speaker 1: one win the national championship, many final fours, definitely had
- 10:44Speaker 1: the program at an elite level, and regardless of what
- 10:47Speaker 1: they say, they ran him out had it not been
- 10:49Speaker 1: so toxic, and he did. He did come up short
- 10:52Speaker 1: and the last couple of tournament appearance is no doubt
- 10:55Speaker 1: about it. But it was so toxic for him, even
- 10:57Speaker 1: though they officially didn't fire him, they ran out. He
- 11:00Speaker 1: would not have been open to coming to Arkansas had
- 11:02Speaker 1: had it not been a completely toxic situation in Kentucky.
- 11:06Speaker 1: So he wins him a championship, makes the program, keeps
- 11:10Speaker 1: it respectable, beyond respectable, and they run them out and
- 11:13Speaker 1: then they boo them. It wasn't like he just left.
- 11:16Speaker 1: I would love for him to just say, you know what,
- 11:17Speaker 1: he decided Kentucky wasn't for him. He's coming to the
- 11:19Speaker 1: where the grass is greener on and so yeah, not
- 11:22Speaker 1: really the case. Yeah, so he comes, they bowed the
- 11:25Speaker 1: crap out of him. Now, I bet on the game
- 11:27Speaker 1: we were. It was Arkansas plus nine and a half
- 11:30Speaker 1: when it started, so I was like, you know, I
- 11:31Speaker 1: think we'll probably hang in there, maybe we can keep
- 11:35Speaker 1: it close. And I put like two and fifty bucks
- 11:38Speaker 1: on it. Dude. It was not a game like we
- 11:41Speaker 1: jumped out. We were up like thirteen, fourteen, seventeen. It
- 11:44Speaker 1: got to be within five or six in the second
- 11:45Speaker 1: half that their fans are what we're leaving. It was awesome.
- 11:50Speaker 1: I don't troll much, don't troll much time, but I
- 11:57Speaker 1: constantly catch strays from Kentucky basketball fans no reason. They
- 12:00Speaker 1: just tagged me in things constantly. I have not said
- 12:03Speaker 1: one thing about Kentucky basketball. I like Mark Pope, their coach.
- 12:07Speaker 1: I think it's awesome. Former player Goes has success, has
- 12:11Speaker 1: success at BYU, comes back, bring some of his guys
- 12:13Speaker 1: with them like he's like the guy he was on
- 12:15Speaker 1: Patino's team. I love that story, but they keep coming
- 12:20Speaker 1: to me. I didn't steal cow Cal wanted to leave,
- 12:24Speaker 1: and so I was ready. Once it got to be
- 12:27Speaker 1: like eight or nine minutes left and we were up
- 12:30Speaker 1: by double digits.
- 12:31Speaker 3: Locked and loaded, well, I started loading the tweets.
- 12:33Speaker 1: A couple of drafts I did, I did, and I
- 12:36Speaker 1: had a couple that I put too much thought in.
- 12:38Speaker 1: I was like, you know what, not not gonna post that. Finally,
- 12:42Speaker 1: as soon as the buzzer hit, I simply hit him
- 12:46Speaker 1: with two words, lol Kentucky. That's all I put send. Dude.
- 12:55Speaker 1: It was like somebod dropped a nuclear bar. And so
- 13:01Speaker 1: people coming at me, people telling me how we suck now.
- 13:05Speaker 1: So then someone goes, lol yourself two and six. So
- 13:10Speaker 1: I quote retweet that and say, which is why it's
- 13:12Speaker 1: even more embarrassing. Yeah, there you go. That was awesome.
- 13:17Speaker 1: We may never win a conference game after this. It's okay,
- 13:22Speaker 1: and I wish we did, and it sucks because of
- 13:24Speaker 1: my favorite things, Arkansas football, Arkansas basketball. It's been very disappointing,
- 13:28Speaker 1: but that was a fun one. I don't think it
- 13:30Speaker 1: would have been as fun had they not booed the
- 13:33Speaker 1: crap out of him at the beginning of the game.
- 13:35Speaker 1: I was like, well, this is kind of ridiculous, like
- 13:38Speaker 1: you guys ran them off, and now you're booing that
- 13:41Speaker 1: he came back. Yeah, so that was a fun one.
- 13:45Speaker 1: So my Saturday night was that game, and then I
- 13:47Speaker 1: watched five hours of The Roll Rumble. Oh and I'll
- 13:51Speaker 1: do hours. I'll do a whole breakdown after that. I
- 13:54Speaker 1: watched it came on at five pm and it wasn't
- 13:58Speaker 1: over chapter ten.
- 13:59Speaker 4: Wow.
- 14:00Speaker 1: And I have a three screen up upstairs where it's
- 14:04Speaker 1: I have a middle screen for PlayStation and then I
- 14:06Speaker 1: have two screens different rokus that I can watch like
- 14:10Speaker 1: YouTube TV and a channel or Then I watched Peacock
- 14:12Speaker 1: and watch Roll Rumble. So I had everything on and
- 14:15Speaker 1: so watch the Roll Rumble on Peacock. It was free.
- 14:18Speaker 1: It's unbelievable. I didn't even buy a pay per view.
- 14:20Speaker 1: So yeah, that was my Saturday night and a full
- 14:23Speaker 1: Royal Rumble even for non wrestling fans, I think you're
- 14:27Speaker 1: gonna like it. I have a full breakdown coming up.
- 14:29Speaker 1: But the shocking thing was John Cena did not win
- 14:32Speaker 1: and it was his first as his last Royal Rumble. Ever,
- 14:36Speaker 1: thirty people come out one at a time. You don't
- 14:39Speaker 1: know who's coming out. Next person walks down. Sometimes there
- 14:41Speaker 1: are surprises. Sometimes it's old wrestlers, you haven't seen it
- 14:43Speaker 1: in a while. Sometimes it's new. And John Cena comes
- 14:46Speaker 1: out at like I'm gonna say like twenty six or something,
- 14:48Speaker 1: not sure that's the number. And he comes in and
- 14:51Speaker 1: he's like last one. He says it. He's got a
- 14:54Speaker 1: crowd's going crazy, one of the biggest pops of the night.
- 14:56Speaker 1: They knew he was going to be in it, and
- 14:58Speaker 1: he gets down to the final two. It's obviously he's
- 15:01Speaker 1: gonna win Becau. They're setting him up for WrestleMania to
- 15:03Speaker 1: be in the main event because the winner wrestles for
- 15:05Speaker 1: the championship at WrestleMania. And he's wrestling a guy that
- 15:08Speaker 1: if you're not a hardcore fan, you don't really know.
- 15:10Speaker 1: He'd been great as a tag team champion, but babyface
- 15:15Speaker 1: guy but not really well super known by casuals, and
- 15:19Speaker 1: John Cena has him on the apron and John Cena
- 15:23Speaker 1: I end up ended up crying. I'm be honest, but
- 15:26Speaker 1: I want to tell you why though Johnson ends up losing.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Nobody expected it because once it was Sena, You're like, oh,
- 15:32Speaker 1: this is for sure, and he loses. But John Cena
- 15:35Speaker 1: is known for like being like a guy about the business,
- 15:38Speaker 1: and he totally allowed it was all guys wrestling scripted
- 15:43Speaker 1: was making sure, you know. But he totally put him over.
- 15:45Speaker 1: And then he walks in and like hugs him and
- 15:47Speaker 1: like lifts his off. I mean, he was like anointing,
- 15:49Speaker 1: like Okay, you're now a guy. It was super cool
- 15:53Speaker 1: be cause Sina easily has the prominence to go, no,
- 15:57Speaker 1: I'm not coming back unless I win, and he got
- 16:00Speaker 1: right to the end and then he lost.
- 16:03Speaker 3: So it was emotional in a good way.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Oh yeah. Like I was emotional that Sina was cool
- 16:09Speaker 1: enough to do that, to come back to put someone over,
- 16:12Speaker 1: And I was like, just like, human, that's awesome because
- 16:16Speaker 1: he definitely did not have to do that, and he
- 16:18Speaker 1: could have said I'm not coming back unless I'm winning.
- 16:20Speaker 1: So it was pretty cool. But I got a lot
- 16:23Speaker 1: to say about it. We'll get to it coming up.
- 16:25Speaker 3: Royal Rumble. It's awesome.
- 16:28Speaker 4: I saw some old clips this week because it was
- 16:30Speaker 4: leading up to it. Then when I was a kid,
- 16:31Speaker 4: watching it like Rafiki.
- 16:33Speaker 3: Ki from Too Cool Right, So.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Yeah, it brought back some nostalgia for sure. Those were
- 16:39Speaker 1: the Royal Rumble was awesome. Yes, back in the day,
- 16:42Speaker 1: it was awesome, and they've kept the same format, except
- 16:44Speaker 1: now it's so much of a build they don't tell
- 16:47Speaker 1: you what order they're coming out. Way way back in
- 16:49Speaker 1: the day, they would kind of say who was coming
- 16:50Speaker 1: out in what order. It was like it was like
- 16:51Speaker 1: a bit leading up to it, or like segments for
- 16:54Speaker 1: a while, like oh, I'm coming out fifth, But now
- 16:58Speaker 1: at times just like surprise will come out. So I
- 17:02Speaker 1: think you'll like me talking about it, even if you're
- 17:03Speaker 1: not a wrestling fan. So all that to say, we
- 17:08Speaker 1: do want to take a little break because we're going
- 17:09Speaker 1: to come back and we're going to talk with Clark Hunt,
- 17:12Speaker 1: the owner of the Kansas City Chiefs. He's the CEO,
- 17:16Speaker 1: he's the head executive, and just thought it was super cool.
- 17:20Speaker 1: He wanted to be on the show.
- 17:23Speaker 3: So cool.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I didn't reach out to them, which is even cooler.
- 17:26Speaker 1: They kind of reached out to me, and then I
- 17:28Speaker 1: got a really nice message afterward.
- 17:30Speaker 3: From mister Hunt.
- 17:31Speaker 4: No, but from I was like, you know, Jerry and.
- 17:36Speaker 1: It says from Clark Hunt's office. This guy's I won't
- 17:40Speaker 1: say his whole name. His name is Chris. He works
- 17:41Speaker 1: for mister Hunt. He said this quote. Bobby's awesome. Thanks
- 17:44Speaker 1: for reaching out. He really might be the single best
- 17:48Speaker 1: at this Absolutely love a show and his energy. Been
- 17:50Speaker 1: a listener for a long time. Very cool to get
- 17:51Speaker 1: to work with you guys. So that's somebody. So somebody
- 17:54Speaker 1: knew us and recommended him to come on the show,
- 17:57Speaker 1: and so he did.
- 17:58Speaker 3: That's awesome.
- 17:58Speaker 1: So we'll talk to him coming up. And second, because
- 18:01Speaker 1: it is Super Bowl week, I would recommend that you
- 18:04Speaker 1: get ready. Hey, by the way, guys, get your DraftKings
- 18:07Speaker 1: in before we go. Yeah, a good call.
- 18:10Speaker 3: Good call because we don't know where we're going to be. Well,
- 18:12Speaker 3: we do know what we're going to be, well where
- 18:14Speaker 3: we can play.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Wow, Oh good points. So we're going through Georgia. You
- 18:19Speaker 1: may look and see, but I don't thinks is Louisiana?
- 18:21Speaker 1: Are you able to I don't use draft kings. I
- 18:23Speaker 1: don't either, don't either. Some states you can't. You can

- 19:41Speaker 1: Kansas City Chiefs Owner Chairman CEO Clark Hunt, otherwise known
- 19:45Speaker 1: to us because we are respectful as mister Hunt. Clark
- 19:49Speaker 1: is the son of Lamar Hunt, who was a foundational
- 19:52Speaker 1: piece in building the NFL to what it is today
- 19:55Speaker 1: and he's even credited for coming up with the name
- 19:56Speaker 1: super Bowl. Clark has taken their family legacy to another
- 19:59Speaker 1: level when you hired Andy Reid, which we talked about.
- 20:01Speaker 1: That interview lasts over nine hours. Big thanks to mister
- 20:04Speaker 1: Hunt for joining us on the show, and we are
- 20:07Speaker 1: ready for New Orleans. Here he is Chiefs Owner Clark Hunt.
- 20:11Speaker 1: First of all, mister Hunt, I would like to say
- 20:13Speaker 1: that I cannot wait for you to be in the
- 20:15Speaker 1: Hall of Fame. I want to say what I've seen
- 20:16Speaker 1: from your organization. I'm ready whenever you're on television and
- 20:20Speaker 1: that jacket, I'll be like, that's my guy right there.
- 20:22Speaker 1: So congratulations on just massive success over the past decade.
- 20:26Speaker 7: Yeah, well, I sure appreciate it.
- 20:28Speaker 8: It's absolutely been a very special time to be a
- 20:30Speaker 8: Kansas City Chiefs fan.
- 20:32Speaker 7: Really, from the day.
- 20:33Speaker 8: That Andy Reid walked into the building in twenty thirteen,
- 20:37Speaker 8: we've been building for this moment. We've had an incredible
- 20:41Speaker 8: amount of success over the last six years, and hopefully
- 20:45Speaker 8: we'll be able to carry that forward.
- 20:47Speaker 1: The legend of the Andy Reid interview is nine hours.
- 20:50Speaker 3: Is that accurate?
- 20:53Speaker 8: That is accurate, and it's hard to believe in retrospect.
- 20:57Speaker 8: I'm not sure what we talked about for nine hours,
- 21:00Speaker 8: but it was a great opportunity to really get to
- 21:04Speaker 8: know each other, and I think we just realized that
- 21:07Speaker 8: we had tremendous chemistry and that relationship was going to
- 21:12Speaker 8: be a good fit. I also had a lot of
- 21:14Speaker 8: my staff there who got to spend time with Andy,
- 21:18Speaker 8: which I think was good for them and as well
- 21:21Speaker 8: as good for Andy. And there was just a lot
- 21:24Speaker 8: of comfort all the way around. And we were able
- 21:26Speaker 8: to get him to Kansas City later that week and
- 21:28Speaker 8: he's been there ever since.
- 21:29Speaker 1: How important was culture versus x's and o's when making
- 21:34Speaker 1: that decision.
- 21:35Speaker 8: Well, we've been through a very challenging couple of seasons
- 21:39Speaker 8: leading up to that hiring in twenty thirteen, and I
- 21:44Speaker 8: felt that we needed a very experienced leader, somebody who
- 21:49Speaker 8: had experience in championship games, which Andy certainly did. Interestingly,
- 21:56Speaker 8: our twenty twelve team had I believe six probo players
- 22:00Speaker 8: on it, and that was a team that won only
- 22:02Speaker 8: two games, So it wasn't like we didn't have some.
- 22:05Speaker 7: Talent on the roster.
- 22:07Speaker 8: And I think what Andy did when he arrived in
- 22:09Speaker 8: Kansasite was he really changed the culture.
- 22:13Speaker 7: He changed the expectations, he changed the relationship between the
- 22:18Speaker 7: coaching staff and the players, and he was able to
- 22:23Speaker 7: immediately get off on a great start. The team won
- 22:27Speaker 7: nine straight games at the beginning of that twenty thirteen season,
- 22:31Speaker 7: and I just think it shows what a great coach
- 22:34Speaker 7: he is, both from a culture standpoint as well as
- 22:37Speaker 7: from the next.
- 22:37Speaker 1: As the o's what is the feeling from you going
- 22:41Speaker 1: into this super Bowl as opposed to the last two?
- 22:45Speaker 8: Well, they're all different, but they're all very special. It's
- 22:50Speaker 8: just so dang hard to get to a super Bowl.
- 22:53Speaker 8: That's certainly something that we understand in Kansas City as
- 22:57Speaker 8: we went fifty years between Super Bowl four and Super
- 23:01Speaker 8: Bowl fifty four. When we finally made it back to
- 23:05Speaker 8: be in a period where we've gone two years and
- 23:08Speaker 8: now we're getting to go three years. Is you know,
- 23:11Speaker 8: really you know, hard to get your head around. They
- 23:16Speaker 8: are all huge challenges. There's a lot that goes into
- 23:19Speaker 8: the week. But we're very excited, you know, we have
- 23:22Speaker 8: we have a great opportunity and that's really all you
- 23:26Speaker 8: can ask for. It's what we work for the entire year,
- 23:28Speaker 8: starting in the spring, working through training camp, winning the division,
- 23:35Speaker 8: getting the number one seed. Those are all just building
- 23:38Speaker 8: blocks towards being able to go to the super Bowl.
- 23:41Speaker 8: And we're thrilled to be back.
- 23:43Speaker 1: If I was the owner, I'd want to do like
- 23:44Speaker 1: player stuff. Do you ever go work out with the players?
- 23:46Speaker 1: Like cut off a shirt and hop in?
- 23:50Speaker 8: So during training camp when I, you know, spend a
- 23:54Speaker 8: more timeund around the team, I will occasionally end up
- 23:58Speaker 8: in the gym with the player and I have to
- 24:01Speaker 8: say it's very humbling or maybe even humiliating.
- 24:05Speaker 1: That's awesome. I feel like I will be doing that
- 24:06Speaker 1: all the time. When do you leave to go to
- 24:09Speaker 1: the game and like set up and do you do
- 24:11Speaker 1: an Airbnb or a hotel or what do you do?
- 24:14Speaker 8: We'll be in a hotel in New Orleans, it's a
- 24:18Speaker 8: very long week. I'll actually go in at the beginning
- 24:23Speaker 8: of the week and be part of the media that
- 24:25Speaker 8: takes place Monday night, and then do some more media
- 24:30Speaker 8: on Tuesday, and then I'll typically go home for a
- 24:33Speaker 8: couple of days and then come back on Thursday and
- 24:37Speaker 8: spend the rest of the week there through hopefully what
- 24:40Speaker 8: is a victory celebration late Sunday night.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Do you get nervous before games? And do you get
- 24:45Speaker 1: really nervous before the Super Bowl?
- 24:48Speaker 8: So over time I've become less nervous, and maybe it's
- 24:53Speaker 8: just through through experience. My nerves are very calm before games. However,
- 25:00Speaker 8: when the ball is kicked off and you get into
- 25:03Speaker 8: the inevitable ebbs and flows that you have in any
- 25:06Speaker 8: football game, you know my emotions will ride the roller
- 25:09Speaker 8: coaster of the game. So it's a little bit of
- 25:12Speaker 8: a mixed bag. But I've learned over the years to
- 25:15Speaker 8: have a lot of trust in Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes,
- 25:18Speaker 8: and the rest of his teammates.
- 25:20Speaker 1: More great folklore, I'd like to run by you the
- 25:23Speaker 1: folklore of the mister Clark Hut graduating first as class
- 25:26Speaker 1: at SMU. True or false?
- 25:29Speaker 7: It's hard to believe. But but it's true.
- 25:33Speaker 8: I have several children who are at SMU recently graduated
- 25:38Speaker 8: from SMU, and it's it's a great university, and I
- 25:42Speaker 8: had an amazing experience there. I'm not sure how I
- 25:45Speaker 8: pulled that off.
- 25:46Speaker 1: After the game, do you have two plans Plan A
- 25:49Speaker 1: when contingency plan plan B?
- 25:52Speaker 7: You have to really have only one plan.
- 25:55Speaker 8: And of course our hope and our thought process will
- 25:59Speaker 8: be geared towards winning the game. We have a big
- 26:03Speaker 8: celebration after the game, and that celebration takes place regardless
- 26:09Speaker 8: of how the game plays out.
- 26:11Speaker 1: Man, it'd be a little tougher to go though the
- 26:13Speaker 1: other way around, Not that you have any experience with
- 26:14Speaker 1: that because you've been killing it, but that'd be tough
- 26:16Speaker 1: because I've lost things and had to go to things,
- 26:18Speaker 1: and I'm always I'm out the door pretty quick. And
- 26:21Speaker 1: do you lay your clothes out? You already know what
- 26:23Speaker 1: you're gonna wear the game night, because you got to
- 26:24Speaker 1: look there be looking at you. You're like the most
- 26:26Speaker 1: famous owner one of them.
- 26:28Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm not quite there, much to my wife's chagrin.
- 26:32Speaker 8: She's been talking to me about, you know, getting my
- 26:35Speaker 8: game clothes ready. That's something I'll probably focus on late
- 26:39Speaker 8: Wednesday night as I'm packing the head to the game.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Do you have like a little bit of like do
- 26:45Speaker 1: you need to wear like little bits of red if
- 26:46Speaker 1: you're gonna wear a suit, Like, I know you have
- 26:48Speaker 1: your chiefs pin on now, but there's got to be something.
- 26:50Speaker 1: It's like if you're president, you got to have a
- 26:51Speaker 1: flag on at all times, like you got to be
- 26:53Speaker 1: chiefing it up right.
- 26:54Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 26:54Speaker 8: Absolutely, pretty much. Every Christmas, my wife gives me a
- 26:59Speaker 8: new blazer. So I have about one hundred of those
- 27:02Speaker 8: in the closet. So I'll pick out a few of
- 27:05Speaker 8: those to wear the game and then for the Super Bowls.
- 27:11Speaker 8: The last three Super Bowls that we've won, Mark Donovan,
- 27:15Speaker 8: our president, Brett Feach, our general manager, coach when he's
- 27:20Speaker 8: not on the sideline, and I have all worn the
- 27:22Speaker 8: same blazer. And it's a throwback blazer that goes back
- 27:26Speaker 8: to Super Bowl four.
- 27:27Speaker 7: And it's interesting in that.
- 27:29Speaker 8: The Chief's logo on it is backwards, which I would
- 27:33Speaker 8: love to ask my dad, you know, why was the
- 27:35Speaker 8: Chief's logo backwards back in nineteen sixty nine? But it was,
- 27:39Speaker 8: And so we'll probably wear those Blazers again.
- 27:43Speaker 1: Patrick Mahomes as a person, what's he like? What's your
- 27:45Speaker 1: relationship like with him? As people?
- 27:47Speaker 8: Yeah, he's just an awesome human being. As good a
- 27:51Speaker 8: football player as he is, he's an even better person.
- 27:55Speaker 8: Of course, everyone knows about his leadership ability in the
- 27:58Speaker 8: locker room, but he's a guy that really cares about
- 28:02Speaker 8: the people around him. And I think that's part of
- 28:05Speaker 8: the reason why his teammates love playing with him, is
- 28:08Speaker 8: that they know that he cares about them both on
- 28:12Speaker 8: and off the field. He's a terrific guy, you know,
- 28:15Speaker 8: a lot, lots of fun, loves to play golf. He's
- 28:19Speaker 8: a tremendous family man, just had had that third baby,
- 28:23Speaker 8: and it's, you know, so much fun to get to
- 28:24Speaker 8: see him be a dad.
- 28:26Speaker 1: I want to make a comparison, and you're definitely way
- 28:29Speaker 1: more successful, way smarter, and better looking to me. But
- 28:32Speaker 1: when I started to have a bit of success and
- 28:34Speaker 1: I was like touring, I'd have all these people come
- 28:35Speaker 1: up like, I'm your cousin, let me get tickets. When
- 28:37Speaker 1: you guys started to crush it, did you have more
- 28:39Speaker 1: friends all of a sudden that wanted to be like
- 28:41Speaker 1: you know, on the field. Oh, Clark, it's me your
- 28:43Speaker 1: buddy from my school.
- 28:46Speaker 8: You know, that's one of the blessings that comes with
- 28:48Speaker 8: having a little bit of success. And I have a
- 28:52Speaker 8: great group of friends, and I love having them around
- 28:56Speaker 8: for these championship opportunities. That that's something when I look
- 29:00Speaker 8: back on this time period that I'm going to remember
- 29:03Speaker 8: getting to celebrate it with my family and friends. So
- 29:07Speaker 8: that's totally a positive that I've got some guys that
- 29:10Speaker 8: have reached out that I haven't seen in a little while.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I had people on twenty three and meters like
- 29:15Speaker 1: one percent match. They're like, I'm your cousin. Let me
- 29:17Speaker 1: get in. See I'd be afraid with the Chiefs, it'd
- 29:19Speaker 1: be a lot worse than that, mister Hunt. I'm always
- 29:21Speaker 1: super curious about successful people and driven people, like what
- 29:26Speaker 1: they read. Like I would imagine you're a studious person,
- 29:29Speaker 1: Like what are your favorite books?
- 29:31Speaker 7: Yeah, so I don't have a lot of time to
- 29:34Speaker 7: read books.
- 29:36Speaker 8: I spend a lot of time reading literature that's related
- 29:41Speaker 8: to the sports business and just sort of staying up
- 29:44Speaker 8: on what's going on both in the National Football League
- 29:47Speaker 8: and you probably know that we're also involved in Major
- 29:50Speaker 8: League Soccer, so it's really more, you know, focused on
- 29:55Speaker 8: newspapers and magazines that you of course act ss online
- 30:00Speaker 8: today that really, you know, helped me stay up to
- 30:03Speaker 8: speed on what's going on.
- 30:05Speaker 1: What about listening to people that have opinions that have
- 30:09Speaker 1: no idea what they're talking about. Do you ever come
- 30:10Speaker 1: across that, like on social media or anybody like this
- 30:13Speaker 1: guy thinks he knows everything, but he doesn't.
- 30:17Speaker 8: Certainly, social media has changed how we consume news, and
- 30:23Speaker 8: it's opened up the ability to have a lot of
- 30:27Speaker 8: other people that are commenting on sports, and so you've
- 30:30Speaker 8: got a lot more perspectives out there. Not everybody's going
- 30:33Speaker 8: to agree, and that's okay.
- 30:35Speaker 1: When you were growing up, who was your favorite player?
- 30:37Speaker 7: It was Lynn Dawson.
- 30:39Speaker 8: You know, I grew up during that era where the
- 30:42Speaker 8: Chiefs went to Super Bowl, won and lost, and then
- 30:46Speaker 8: made it back in Super Bowl four and beat the
- 30:49Speaker 8: Minnesota Vikings. I got to spend some time around around
- 30:53Speaker 8: the team as a kid with my dad, and you know,
- 30:55Speaker 8: Lynn was definitely a hero for me. I was also
- 30:59Speaker 8: a big fan of you on stin Rude because I
- 31:01Speaker 8: was a soccer player and Jahan, of course was one
- 31:04Speaker 8: of the first soccer style Placecarckers in the National Football
- 31:08Speaker 8: League and so I love getting to hang out with
- 31:11Speaker 8: him as well.
- 31:11Speaker 1: We have three more questions for you, mister Hunt. And
- 31:14Speaker 1: you're sitting in front of a wall of accolades, a
- 31:17Speaker 1: team accolades for sure, a lot of balls. Which ball
- 31:20Speaker 1: behind you brings up the quickest, greatest memory.
- 31:25Speaker 8: Well, I'm not going to stand up and you know,
- 31:29Speaker 8: pick one of the balls. But one of them back
- 31:32Speaker 8: there has the signatures of our Super Bowl team from
- 31:36Speaker 8: twenty nineteen and that was obviously special because it was
- 31:41Speaker 8: our first trip back to the Big Game in fifty years.
- 31:45Speaker 8: And you know, being able to get across the finish
- 31:48Speaker 8: line there and win that game, that was so special.
- 31:52Speaker 1: How cool? The Kansas City is a small market as
- 31:55Speaker 1: far as other NFL teams, and you guys have been
- 31:57Speaker 1: so dominant. There's got to be pride in like being
- 31:59Speaker 1: the little man and like taking it to it right.
- 32:01Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 32:02Speaker 8: I think that's one of the great things about the
- 32:03Speaker 8: National Football League is the way the system is set up.
- 32:09Speaker 8: Every year, all thirty two teams have a chance to
- 32:13Speaker 8: make it to the Super Bowl. There's a lot of
- 32:15Speaker 8: a lot of parity, a lot of the quality and
- 32:18Speaker 8: certainly we've benefited from that in Kansas City. It's been
- 32:23Speaker 8: fun to see our fan base grow over the last
- 32:27Speaker 8: six to ten years, and a lot of metrics were
- 32:31Speaker 8: either you know, number one or two in terms of
- 32:34Speaker 8: the largest fan base, both in the US and as
- 32:37Speaker 8: well as internationally. So it's been special to see that.
- 32:41Speaker 8: I know it's something that my dad would have really
- 32:43Speaker 8: enjoyed if he was here to see it.
- 32:45Speaker 1: And my final question for you, mister Hunt, it's not
- 32:47Speaker 1: I'm not asking anything of you particularly, but I got invited.
- 32:50Speaker 1: I think they think I'm finally cool enough to go
- 32:52Speaker 1: to the Commissioner's Commissioner's dinner, that event that's happening on
- 32:55Speaker 1: I think Friday night. So I finally get the invite
- 32:58Speaker 1: to go. And if I come up and say, hey,
- 33:01Speaker 1: mister Hunt, it's Bobby, we just act like you know me,
- 33:02Speaker 1: so people think I'm cool. I just want to like
- 33:04Speaker 1: have people be like, oh, he must be cool. If
- 33:06Speaker 1: if mister Hunt knows him, can we like exchange like
- 33:09Speaker 1: a cool Hey, what's a buddy?
- 33:10Speaker 7: Yeah, absolutely, haben a little high five.
- 33:13Speaker 1: Let's go. Yes. Yeah, he pointed at me like this
- 33:16Speaker 1: is my guy. He knew all along. If we do that. Man,
- 33:19Speaker 1: the world is my oyster. Then congratulations, mister Hunt. Thank
- 33:22Speaker 1: you for spending you know, the last fifteen minutes with us.
- 33:25Speaker 1: I have been rooting for you guys since the beginning.
- 33:28Speaker 1: I'm a die hard as far as the Chiefs go.
- 33:31Speaker 1: I'm so pumped for this game and uh yeah, I
- 33:34Speaker 1: hope that there is no contingency because let's win three
- 33:37Speaker 1: in a row, is what I say. Thank you, mister Hunt.
- 33:39Speaker 7: Yeah, thank you. It's great being on with you.
- 33:40Speaker 1: There he is, mister Clark Hunt Chiefs. That's all all right, Okay,
- 33:45Speaker 1: great news. We can use draft Kings in Louisiana. Yes.
- 33:49Speaker 1: On our trip we go through Atlanta Tuesday night. We're
- 33:53Speaker 1: doing a show in Atlanta. By the way, we're all
- 33:55Speaker 1: we're going on a bus, so Atlanta, Georgia. We can't.
- 33:59Speaker 3: It's like a tour to the super Bowl.
- 34:02Speaker 1: Yeah, It's like I promised our boss we would do
- 34:05Speaker 1: market visits, so we got a bus and we just
- 34:07Speaker 1: kind of did him at the same time.
- 34:09Speaker 4: It is cool though, like the whole week I'm saying like,
- 34:11Speaker 4: it's like and then the payoffice at Super.
- 34:13Speaker 3: Bowl coming out, that's pretty cool.
- 34:15Speaker 1: I will say yes if you haven't. I'm a little
- 34:20Speaker 1: jaded and tired from being on a bus for a
- 34:23Speaker 1: long time. So if you haven't done, like, the touring
- 34:24Speaker 1: is super cool. It's like new for me. I'm just like,
- 34:28Speaker 1: oh my god, it's gonna be good. The super Bowl
- 34:31Speaker 1: part is gonna be fun. The first couple of nights.
- 34:32Speaker 1: I would rather kind of just fly down there and
- 34:34Speaker 1: do the show and come back home. But it's gonna
- 34:36Speaker 1: be fun.
- 34:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 34:38Speaker 1: It We're excited and Louisiana DraftKings. You're able to go.
- 34:43Speaker 1: That's pretty cool. A couple of things. We still have
- 34:47Speaker 1: to play the game for the Super Bowl tickets forget
- 34:51Speaker 1: who we go. So I do want to talk about
- 34:54Speaker 1: Justin Tucker.
- 34:57Speaker 3: Justin Tucker. I mean, now we know why he was
- 34:59Speaker 3: missing field goal.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Yeah, because probably because he knew that was coming out.
- 35:03Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yes, yeah, because they were like, you know,
- 35:05Speaker 3: he doesn't miss, and all of a sudden he's missing
- 35:08Speaker 3: than it normally does.
- 35:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 35:09Speaker 1: Justin Tucker has been accused by multiple massage therapists of
- 35:12Speaker 1: sexual misconduct from the Baltimore Banner. The Baltimore Banner reports
- 35:15Speaker 1: that nine therapists have five different spas have claim to
- 35:18Speaker 1: be victims of inappropriate sexual behavior at the hands of
- 35:20Speaker 1: the Kicker. Reports alleged Tucker exposed his genitals, quote, brushed
- 35:24Speaker 1: two of the therapists with his penis, and left what
- 35:27Speaker 1: they believed to be ejaculate on the table. After three
- 35:29Speaker 1: of his treatments, five of the women reportedly accused Tucker
- 35:32Speaker 1: of asking them to quote massage his region. It goes
- 35:35Speaker 1: on here. The report also says that some of the
- 35:37Speaker 1: therapists were so overtaken by his alleged actions they ended
- 35:39Speaker 1: his sessions early or refused to work with him again.
- 35:43Speaker 1: Since these alleged incidents occur between twelve and sixteen twenty twelve,
- 35:46Speaker 1: twenty sixteen, the statute of limitations has expired, no criminal
- 35:50Speaker 1: charges can be filed. There is, however, the option of
- 35:53Speaker 1: civil action. I don't think even that has happened yet.
- 35:59Speaker 1: That ain't a good lie, look though, no, not at all.
- 36:02Speaker 1: He was twenty sixteen. When did the Deshaun Watson stuff
- 36:05Speaker 1: come out? Because you and also what's that, dude? What's happening?
- 36:11Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 36:11Speaker 1: Like you is it just the You've been a successful
- 36:16Speaker 1: and again all is alleged, everything's alleged.
- 36:18Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 36:19Speaker 1: I wasn't there, Thank god, is it that you've just
- 36:22Speaker 1: been so successful and celebrated and everything you do that
- 36:25Speaker 1: you can ask for anything, so you it just continues
- 36:28Speaker 1: into this space.
- 36:29Speaker 3: Just power tripping. But it doesn't sound like he was
- 36:31Speaker 3: asking for anything. It just sounds like he was being
- 36:33Speaker 3: creepy there.
- 36:35Speaker 1: He brushed his Yeah, like he just.
- 36:39Speaker 3: Thing that's yeah. I like, how do you just accidentally
- 36:43Speaker 3: do that? I don't think it was accident, That's what
- 36:46Speaker 3: I'm saying.
- 36:46Speaker 1: I here asking regardless, when was the Deshaun Watson thing?
- 36:50Speaker 1: Twenty one? So my my first thought, my first thought
- 36:54Speaker 1: would have been heard about de Shaun Watson, was like,
- 36:56Speaker 1: I gotta quit. But no, it's five years. But we
- 36:58Speaker 1: don't even know if it's if it's real. We also
- 37:00Speaker 1: don't know if it's happened after twenty sixteen, like all
- 37:01Speaker 1: of a sudden he quit in twenty sixteen.
- 37:03Speaker 4: Yeah, because yeah, that was a while ago. I mean,
- 37:05Speaker 4: Justin Tucker's been around for a while, but this was
- 37:07Speaker 4: before he was really Justin Tucker, you know what I mean.
- 37:11Speaker 4: So like you're saying he's on this high horse, but
- 37:13Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 37:13Speaker 1: But I mean, if you're even a collegian athlete, a
- 37:16Speaker 1: celebrated collegian. There is just an athlete. I'm not saying
- 37:19Speaker 1: all athletes do this, and I'm not even saying about
- 37:21Speaker 1: this specifically, And it doesn't have to the athlete. You
- 37:24Speaker 1: can be an actor anything. When you're young and you're
- 37:26Speaker 1: celebrated the whole time, there's a different moral line that's
- 37:29Speaker 1: drong because you haven't been taught it. And that's not
- 37:32Speaker 1: an excuse at all, because I would bet you ninety
- 37:35Speaker 1: nine percent of athletes don't do this disgusting act if
- 37:37Speaker 1: it was done alleged.
- 37:38Speaker 3: Sure, man, that is a bad look. And these poor
- 37:41Speaker 3: massage therapists that like, again don't know what happened, but
- 37:44Speaker 3: the fact that they have to do that for a
- 37:45Speaker 3: job and then deal with that kind of stuff like
- 37:46Speaker 3: that's that's not good. It sucks.
- 37:48Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 37:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I was a big Justin Tucker guy because he
- 37:51Speaker 1: was like a fan. He's from Texas. Yeah, he listened
- 37:54Speaker 1: to the show. He would like sing.
- 37:56Speaker 3: He had the opera the right yeah oper angle.
- 37:59Speaker 1: Yeah not good, not good. Uh. Chip Kelly just won
- 38:05Speaker 1: a national championship with Ohio state offensive coordinator and is
- 38:08Speaker 1: now jumping to Seattle, So he's gonna go be the
- 38:10Speaker 1: o c with the Seahawks with Pete Carroll. I don't
- 38:13Speaker 1: think he'd be magi. Yeah, sorry, yes, to Vegas with
- 38:17Speaker 1: Pete Carroll, who was with this? I think Carol all
- 38:20Speaker 1: the time. Yeah, good point, yeah yeah, and the Seahawks
- 38:27Speaker 1: this man. But think about Ryan grub Is leaving the
- 38:28Speaker 1: Seahawks offensive court. Well, he's out there and he's going
- 38:31Speaker 1: down back down to Alabama to be with his boy.
- 38:33Speaker 1: But they were together at Washington Kaalen Moore.
- 38:36Speaker 3: I was gonna say that, No.
- 38:37Speaker 1: You aren't. You can't ever remember his name. There was
- 38:44Speaker 1: this thing on TikTok and it annoys me that Arkansas
- 38:49Speaker 1: has always thought of like this. I hate so I'm
- 38:51Speaker 1: gonna put a ribbon on this one. And what they
- 38:55Speaker 1: do is they had a I figure out like which
- 38:59Speaker 1: actor was each coach? Like if a I were able
- 39:04Speaker 1: to make an actor a coach, who do you think
- 39:07Speaker 1: they made Sam Pittman?
- 39:09Speaker 3: Oh my god, jees, I mean, it's not gonna be
- 39:14Speaker 3: anyone like I wish that I wish.
- 39:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, it's it's not like Chris Farley. Yes,
- 39:20Speaker 1: Chris Farley.
- 39:20Speaker 7: Oh my god.
- 39:24Speaker 3: Hey, it's crazy, dude.
- 39:26Speaker 1: It sucks because everything about us just gets made fun of, like, yeah,
- 39:32Speaker 1: we were Chris Farley had some good ones that had
- 39:35Speaker 1: some really one of the coaches, like Cale Calen de
- 39:38Speaker 1: Boor was like it was no, he was like a
- 39:42Speaker 1: like a in shape Adam Sandler but playing a serious role.
- 39:45Speaker 3: And we get Chris Farley. But Chris Farley was funny though. Dude,
- 39:49Speaker 3: I don't want funny.
- 39:50Speaker 9: I want to.
- 39:54Speaker 1: I want to win football games.
- 39:55Speaker 3: Like, would you feel better if it was Adam Sandler?
- 39:57Speaker 1: Yeah, no, Adam Sandler does great and serious roles.
- 40:01Speaker 3: Oh that's how you're taking it.
- 40:02Speaker 1: Oh, yes it is.
- 40:05Speaker 3: It's yeah.
- 40:06Speaker 1: Farley never did a serious role. No, he probably would
- 40:09Speaker 1: have eventually. I got bored of all the funny stuff.
- 40:11Speaker 1: But that's all I hate always being the joke. Okay man,
- 40:17Speaker 1: uh do you want to do a game?
- 40:21Speaker 3: Yes? Yes, we've been waiting for this.
- 40:24Speaker 1: So here's what's up. We're taking on the break first, Mike, Yes,
- 40:27Speaker 1: do that, okay, break, and after that we'll see if

- 42:08Speaker 1: Then we played Operation with the two remaining people reading Kevin,
- 42:12Speaker 1: and Operation was going to be one of three. So
- 42:16Speaker 1: this is the second game. It's bop It. Oh my goodness,
- 42:22Speaker 1: Oh my god. So bop it is a game. So
- 42:28Speaker 1: I just I guess I just picked.
- 42:31Speaker 3: Bones. The look on Kevin's face is hilarious.
- 42:35Speaker 1: That twist pully long one. Dude, My brain is going
- 42:42Speaker 1: to just crumble trying to so Kevin, you need to
- 42:46Speaker 1: win bop it. You need to bop it to start.
- 42:51Speaker 1: You need to bopy little heart out. If you win
- 42:53Speaker 1: bop it, it'll it'll be sudden death. Yeah, we'll play
- 42:57Speaker 1: another game, but for now read it. If you win
- 43:00Speaker 1: bop it, you win the final ticket.
- 43:01Speaker 3: Oh my goodness, you can bop it.
- 43:05Speaker 1: Was I don't even remember the last time I did,
- 43:07Speaker 1: and I've not told you what it is. I've hit.
- 43:09Speaker 1: I've hitten the game so no one can see it anywhere,
- 43:11Speaker 1: so there's no no practicing it.
- 43:13Speaker 3: Kevin's freaking out, freaking out.
- 43:16Speaker 4: I'm looking at that one. Do we get like one
- 43:19Speaker 4: quick trial? I will give you like a little like
- 43:22Speaker 4: a different like I just did.
- 43:24Speaker 1: So there's a pull. There's twisted twist on the other,
- 43:31Speaker 1: so you pull this to do it. I score thirty
- 43:34Speaker 1: two just so you see that's this button. Okay, I
- 43:38Speaker 1: already died this twisted Just pull Itah, So three commands, Kevin,
- 43:46Speaker 1: I'll let you choose it goes first or second, because
- 43:48Speaker 1: you're the one that's kind of immediate on the dropping
- 43:51Speaker 1: block here.
- 43:51Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, I'm gonna go first, doing it in front
- 44:00Speaker 4: of each other.
- 44:01Speaker 1: Yeah, you're right there. Yeah yeah, I'm saying like he's
- 44:03Speaker 1: going to be in the We're in the room. Okay, yeah,
- 44:06Speaker 1: can you do it there? No? Yeah, we'll go to
- 44:09Speaker 1: stage stop it man. Yeah, okay, you're up. We are
- 44:12Speaker 1: now going to play bop it. Kevin has taken his
- 44:15Speaker 1: practice round.
- 44:18Speaker 4: How do you feel I felt better before the practice round?
- 44:21Speaker 4: What happened on the roads fast man, I don't remember
- 44:24Speaker 4: being this fast.
- 44:25Speaker 1: So we have a microphone standing on stage. You have
- 44:28Speaker 1: to hold it up, hold it up in front of you. Well,
- 44:31Speaker 1: now hold it up so you can play. Oh, you
- 44:32Speaker 1: have to hold it out near the micro so you

- 46:08Speaker 1: Okay, Read's gonna take a practice round here, So Read,
- 46:10Speaker 1: do what you gotta do pull up first to get
- 46:12Speaker 1: it started. Reads loses the goose because he's like he
- 46:15Speaker 1: can lose this one. Okay, now you're changing the level.
- 46:19Speaker 1: Oh really the hi score?
- 46:24Speaker 3: Practice run yeah, practice twisted Jesus, that was it.

- 46:37Speaker 10: You get better than read twist here, we got pool here.
- 46:41Speaker 1: Yep, this is gonna be bad. And keep it near

- 48:33Speaker 9: Score seven seven.
- 48:39Speaker 1: We found reads the greatest game. My goodness, it might
- 48:43Speaker 1: be a world records read.
- 48:47Speaker 3: Are you just a champion? Bottles?
- 48:49Speaker 1: I mean I'm like, I'm actually shaking right now.
- 48:51Speaker 10: So like once I got through a couple, you got
- 48:54Speaker 10: a rhythm, I felt, I felt comfortable.
- 48:56Speaker 3: Voice sped up. That's what you did. Wow, Okay, it
- 49:00Speaker 3: was like a victory lap around Kevin, I know, and.
- 49:02Speaker 1: He starts like dancing. I can't even be mad at
- 49:07Speaker 1: you can be mad. So let's have a couple. Let's
- 49:11Speaker 1: go to the losing coaches locker round pass.
- 49:14Speaker 3: Everyone loves this interview.
- 49:18Speaker 1: Yeah, wait for the question, Kevin, it's not even you
- 49:22Speaker 1: played bad. You know, it looks like you showed up
- 49:25Speaker 1: ready to play. Your nerves look to have gotten the
- 49:27Speaker 1: best of you are shaking from the very beginning. You know,
- 49:30Speaker 1: what do you say to yourself?
- 49:31Speaker 8: Now?
- 49:32Speaker 4: I say, now I know what Josh Allen feels like.
- 49:36Speaker 4: I show up and I play my butt off and
- 49:38Speaker 4: I played well. I'm actually proud of my performance today,
- 49:41Speaker 4: more proud than it was last week.
- 49:43Speaker 1: And it still wasn't enough.
- 49:45Speaker 4: Reeds Still, Patrick Mahooney got in his rhythm and you know,
- 49:51Speaker 4: dang seventy something, dude, good for you.
- 49:54Speaker 1: It sucks.
- 49:55Speaker 4: This is worse than losing the Super Bowl, watching your
- 49:57Speaker 4: team lose the super Bowl because you actually have control
- 49:59Speaker 4: over the Yeah, I can't blame the coach. I can't
- 50:03Speaker 4: blame anybody by myself. I'm sorry to my family, my
- 50:07Speaker 4: feeling and everybody for letting you down.
- 50:09Speaker 3: Pour one out for Kevan.
- 50:12Speaker 1: What sucks as it always feels weird that somebody has
- 50:16Speaker 1: to lose, but when they actually do lose, it sucks.
- 50:18Speaker 1: It sucks like someone was going to have to lose
- 50:23Speaker 1: and it turns out it's Kevin, Like we're hurting for you, dude.
- 50:26Speaker 1: That's that sucks, does suck, but now completely deserves it.
- 50:31Speaker 1: Dominated God was looking out for me, man.
- 50:34Speaker 10: I'm known to panic and my brain is is known
- 50:37Speaker 10: to shut off, and so you know he kept me
- 50:40Speaker 10: through that.
- 50:42Speaker 1: So God was not looking out for the Lord. God
- 50:45Speaker 1: was interesting, That's what I hear. It said God wanted
- 50:49Speaker 1: you to win over Kevin.
- 50:50Speaker 10: God wants all of us to go Super Bowl man.
- 50:53Speaker 3: Thenicket. Yeah, so, I mean there was a point there
- 50:58Speaker 3: where he almost dropped it. But did you see that
- 51:01Speaker 3: multiple times?
- 51:02Speaker 1: And like some for some reason, it went back into
- 51:05Speaker 1: his hands. I saw he did drop it and then
- 51:06Speaker 1: it like floated back to his hand.
- 51:08Speaker 3: Didn't see the wings pomp out of the pope it and.
- 51:11Speaker 1: God angels in the outfield.
- 51:14Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 51:16Speaker 4: Man, day, at least I still get to New Orleans.
- 51:19Speaker 4: We still could do the radio row and everything. You know,
- 51:21Speaker 4: I'm a blessed man.
- 51:23Speaker 1: What I don't know how much. No, I don't know.
- 51:26Speaker 1: I don't know. If you I don't know how much
- 51:27Speaker 1: single take what even go for? You can look outside
- 51:29Speaker 1: the stadium, maybe they'll be did you try that at
- 51:30Speaker 1: that the bowl game? Yeah? The Rose Bowl.
- 51:33Speaker 4: Yeah, and my team is not even playing it. And no, yeah,
- 51:35Speaker 4: I'm not spending three thousand dollars.
- 51:37Speaker 1: Three It may not be that though. Right before the game,
- 51:40Speaker 1: you're already gonna be there. I don't think there's any
- 51:43Speaker 1: any any anything hurt with walking around that you're already
- 51:46Speaker 1: gonna be. If you're traveling down there to walk around,
- 51:48Speaker 1: I'd be nervous about it.
- 51:49Speaker 3: What game was it where they dressed as construction workers Texas?
- 51:53Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 51:53Speaker 1: See that and they got in Oh yeah, boy, now
- 51:56Speaker 1: you'll get like terrorist stuff. Oh yeah, maybe safe now.
- 52:00Speaker 5: Cheapest ticket on stove hub right now is thirty five
- 52:02Speaker 5: hundred dollars for a single ticket.
- 52:06Speaker 1: Maybe like third quarter, you find one out there. Yeah right, dang,
- 52:11Speaker 1: maybe if the Patriots are playing in it.
- 52:12Speaker 3: But sorry, Kevin, dang, Okay, well that's tough. I thought
- 52:18Speaker 3: we'd at least go one more game.
- 52:19Speaker 1: Me too, That's what Yeah, that's what sucks. I was
- 52:22Speaker 1: how does it feel over three last? Every game bad?
- 52:26Speaker 7: Bad?
- 52:26Speaker 4: Like a little bit though, you have to feel like
- 52:28Speaker 4: you you deserve to lose in Yeah, like I have
- 52:31Speaker 4: nobody to blame but myself. Yeah for sure.
- 52:34Speaker 1: Dang, Well we can move from that because that is
- 52:38Speaker 1: it's I don't want the joy to be lost that
- 52:40Speaker 1: read and read you're not allowed to do the nice
- 52:43Speaker 1: guy thing, which I know you're probably like thinking, I'll
- 52:45Speaker 1: just give the ticket to somebody you won. Kevin, wouldn't
- 52:48Speaker 1: even allow that, were No, okay, okay, no, because you
- 52:52Speaker 1: are the nicest guy here by far, and you think
- 52:54Speaker 1: of other people and I want you to not put
- 52:59Speaker 1: yourself out because you're thinking of somebody else. I think
- 53:01Speaker 1: you should enjoy it, even though you are leaving the
- 53:03Speaker 1: show and like, yeah pretty soon a couple of months,
- 53:06Speaker 1: even though you don't watch football, quit in the show.
- 53:08Speaker 10: Yeah, keep it out, Yeah, keep coming.
- 53:10Speaker 1: Don't let them talk. Hey dude, you did good, thank you,
- 53:12Speaker 1: thank you. Do you know where he died this year?
- 53:14Speaker 1: What the super Bowl?
- 53:15Speaker 10: Yeah, dude, it's at Lambeau.
- 53:17Speaker 1: Right, seventy seven. It wasn't even like thy on the
- 53:24Speaker 1: third one. In practice? Oh, in practice, we kept it in.
- 53:28Speaker 1: You sucked hard.
- 53:30Speaker 3: Wow, hilarious.
- 53:32Speaker 1: Okay, it's almost like I want want to do nothing
- 53:36Speaker 1: now with that? Good with that? I'm good with that. Yeah. Yeah,
- 53:44Speaker 1: you wonder what to wear to the actual game?
- 53:46Speaker 3: Yeah, like, I've never been in the super Bowl? What
- 53:47Speaker 3: do you wear?
- 53:48Speaker 1: You're going to rub it in? We should not talk
- 53:52Speaker 1: about it?
- 53:53Speaker 3: Should we have them leave the room?
- 53:54Speaker 4: Though?
- 53:56Speaker 1: Now I'll come back next week? Yeah, like what it's
- 54:00Speaker 1: it's a normal game, Like you're not going with your team?
- 54:03Speaker 7: You you?
- 54:04Speaker 3: I would just wear jeans and I don't know what
- 54:05Speaker 3: the weather is. Can I wear Cowboys jersey even though
- 54:08Speaker 3: they're not playing like you know you can.
- 54:10Speaker 1: But that's lame as craft whenever you wear a team
- 54:12Speaker 1: that's not playing to a game. I thought, so do
- 54:15Speaker 1: you look at New Orleans weather for us, because you
- 54:18Speaker 1: don't really wear a jersey to a game where your
- 54:21Speaker 1: team's not there unless you're lame.
- 54:23Speaker 3: Oh they do.
- 54:24Speaker 1: In London, they wear every team. That's because they don't
- 54:27Speaker 1: even know the culture. I would just say, where you are,
- 54:31Speaker 1: today's fine. I don't know what the weather is going
- 54:32Speaker 1: to be. If it's like warm to wear a T shirt. Yeah,
- 54:34Speaker 1: it's indoors, right, I mean it's a good point.
- 54:37Speaker 3: I think it's indoors.
- 54:38Speaker 5: It's a good point.
- 54:38Speaker 1: Yeah, you can literally wear whatever you want. Okay, most
- 54:41Speaker 1: people there won't be there because of the Eagles or
- 54:44Speaker 1: the Chiefs. Some will, but most people won't.
- 54:47Speaker 3: I do have a Chief's Joe Montana jersey that I've had,
- 54:51Speaker 3: like since I was like in middle school or highchool. Whatever.
- 54:54Speaker 3: You can wear that.
- 54:54Speaker 1: Are you for the Chiefs?
- 54:56Speaker 3: Yeah kind of. I'm not rooting for the Eagles.
- 54:57Speaker 1: You can definitely do that. I didn't think about what
- 54:59Speaker 1: out of of the game. I mean, mister Hunt may
- 55:04Speaker 1: make me a big cheese fan.
- 55:05Speaker 3: I don't know that's true.
- 55:06Speaker 1: What do you see?
- 55:07Speaker 10: It's gonna be pretty warm. I mean high of seventy
- 55:09Speaker 10: eight on that Sunday.
- 55:11Speaker 3: I love his weather.
- 55:12Speaker 10: Yeah, man high of seventy eight, mostly in mid seventies,
- 55:15Speaker 10: soout the week we got twenty four percent chance to
- 55:17Speaker 10: rain on Sunday though, Well.
- 55:20Speaker 1: Forget we're in the dome. I wonder if radio are
- 55:22Speaker 1: all of our interview stuffs in the dome or the
- 55:25Speaker 1: parking lot? What it's inside it is? Yeah, like a
- 55:27Speaker 1: convention center. That's good. The third game was going to
- 55:31Speaker 1: be a game of pickleball today because the weather was good.
- 55:38Speaker 3: That'd been a good game too.
- 55:39Speaker 1: That is something feels good about because they're kind of
- 55:42Speaker 1: equal no pickleball. Yeah, they probably both think they can
- 55:44Speaker 1: beat the other one. Like I think Reid's got a
- 55:46Speaker 1: little bit of confidence lately. I think Kevin thinks he's
- 55:48Speaker 1: a better athlete. I think it would have been.
- 55:52Speaker 9: But that that is it.
- 55:53Speaker 1: I mean seventy.
- 55:55Speaker 10: Seventy Yes, I don't know how that happened. I'm gonna
- 55:57Speaker 10: be honest.
- 55:58Speaker 3: I feel like he's a good player and he just
- 56:01Speaker 3: acted like he wasn't read. Yeah, like he plays bomp
- 56:04Speaker 3: it all the time.
- 56:05Speaker 1: Did you see him play that practice round with us?
- 56:08Speaker 1: As my stepdad Arkansas Keith used to say, it looked
- 56:10Speaker 1: like a cup bear playing with his pecker, just like
- 56:13Speaker 1: figuring it out, Like what in the heck?
- 56:16Speaker 3: Okay, sorry, Kevin, let me see bones. Are you happier
- 56:22Speaker 3: for Reid or sadder for Kevin?
- 56:24Speaker 8: Oh?
- 56:24Speaker 1: Good question. I think the emotion right now is that
- 56:29Speaker 1: I'm sadder for Kevin, not because there's anything to do
- 56:31Speaker 1: with read. I think I'd be sadder for Reed had
- 56:32Speaker 1: it gone the other way. IM just sadder for whomever
- 56:34Speaker 1: didn't get to go, because you literally had a twenty
- 56:36Speaker 1: percent chance. Everybody had a twenty percent chance of missing out,
- 56:39Speaker 1: eighty percent chance of going, like all five, all four?
- 56:44Speaker 1: Well now there's five, so four of you with three
- 56:47Speaker 1: tickets where you were in Yeah yeah, yeah, so four
- 56:49Speaker 1: you were fighting for three tickets, so that percentages is
- 56:52Speaker 1: a bit skewed. Then, yeah, you had a good shot
- 56:54Speaker 1: to go. Everybody did and you didn't.
- 56:58Speaker 10: There's like no good way to hold that bopp thing, dude.
- 57:01Speaker 1: Apparently there's seven talking about the way you did it was.
- 57:06Speaker 10: I probably looked ridiculous in the video though, I'm like
- 57:09Speaker 10: holding it like a baby.
- 57:10Speaker 3: Just stop seventy seven had h Clark Khin.
- 57:13Speaker 1: I was looking up. He's a billionaire, obviously, and Chie's
- 57:16Speaker 1: I was trying to think of all the billionaires that
- 57:18Speaker 1: I met Jerry Jerry Jones obviously. Oh, I mean, but
- 57:25Speaker 1: does it count if it's before Mike. I guess they
- 57:29Speaker 1: have to be a billionaire that at the time you
- 57:31Speaker 1: meet him, because I obviously I've met Taylor Swifted a bunch.
- 57:33Speaker 1: Yeah she's a billionaire, she'd say, obviously. But I've met
- 57:35Speaker 1: Toast with a bunch, but she wasn't a billionaire then,
- 57:39Speaker 1: so I don't think that counts. I've met in Charles Schwab,
- 57:42Speaker 1: who is alive, and it's a real person. Really. I
- 57:45Speaker 1: went and played the Charles Schwab Pro am and I
- 57:48Speaker 1: played with Jordan Spieth and he was there and I
- 57:50Speaker 1: talked with him. They paid me to come out there
- 57:52Speaker 1: and they let me play the tournament.
- 57:54Speaker 3: I honestly didn't know he was a real person until
- 57:56Speaker 3: you met him.
- 57:57Speaker 1: Johnny Morris, No, Johnny bill Pro nine point nine billion,
- 58:02Speaker 1: oh Owens bass Pro Okay, no, sober I know that's
- 58:09Speaker 1: four billionaires that I've met. Dang, Jerry Jones Charles Schwab,
- 58:12Speaker 1: Johnny Morris and Clark Hunt.
- 58:14Speaker 3: What about that, uh, Scooter bron guy.
- 58:16Speaker 1: I don't know that. He's a billionaire, probably hundreds of millions,
- 58:19Speaker 1: probably super rate. You never met Mark Cuban. Never For
- 58:22Speaker 1: some reason, I feel like you would have.
- 58:24Speaker 3: I know you would have elon you met him.
- 58:26Speaker 1: No, I was racking the old brain here, couldn't think
- 58:30Speaker 1: of any more billionaires.
- 58:31Speaker 5: Scooter became a billionaire after you met him? Really, yeah,
- 58:34Speaker 5: he's wild.
- 58:35Speaker 1: He's a billionaire. Dang Offensive Player of the Year Sporting
- 58:39Speaker 1: News sik One Barklay, Defensive Player of the Year, Miles Garrett,
- 58:41Speaker 1: Comeback Player of the Year, Sam Darnold, Rookie of the
- 58:43Speaker 1: Year Jaden Daniels. This is Sporting News again. Coach of
- 58:46Speaker 1: the Year Kevin O'Connell, Coordinator of the Year Ben Johnson,
- 58:49Speaker 1: and Executive of the Year Brad Holmes, and Brad is
- 58:52Speaker 1: from the I've not gues, obviously have this is executive.
- 58:55Speaker 1: Didn't put the team over there raiders root for the executives,
- 58:58Speaker 1: that much, guess. But the official NFL awards are Thursday
- 59:03Speaker 1: night at the NFL Honors, which I'm supposed to be
- 59:05Speaker 1: presenting at that's.
- 59:07Speaker 3: Where we get MVP.
- 59:08Speaker 1: Yeah we yeah, yeah, all right, well I was gonna
- 59:14Speaker 1: do should I do Royal Rumble? Still? Yeah, dude, I
- 59:18Speaker 1: was said for Kevin. I spent five hours watching the
- 59:20Speaker 1: Royal Rumble and it started off with the women's Royal
- 59:22Speaker 1: Rumble and women's wrestling. I get it. It's grown a lot.
- 59:31Speaker 1: I knew like four people in it. They again a
- 59:35Speaker 1: very They telegraph their moves a lot, more like if
- 59:37Speaker 1: somebody jumping off the top rub, they'll start falling back
- 59:39Speaker 1: way earlier on the ground. Some crazy athleticism. But because
- 59:46Speaker 1: it has not been as prevalent for as long, you
- 59:51Speaker 1: definitely have to suspend any sort of reality. Not that
- 59:56Speaker 1: you don't have to do it with the men, because
- 59:57Speaker 1: you do, but the athleticism is different. I knew like
- 59:59Speaker 1: three people, and I didn't even know them from when
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: I was a wrestling fan because unfairly, I know some
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: of the older wrestlers, because dudes can be fifty five
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: and still wrestle and they don't. There aren't really any
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: women doing that. I knew Nikki Bella when she came
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: out Big Sprices of Wrestling, like three years from the
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: Bella Twins, so she came out and I was like,
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: oh cool, and people freaked out. I didn't know why,
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: but it's she's been through a divorce and some domestic
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: assault stuff, apparently alleged. I don't even know if it's
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: a legend. I've no idea. So she came out and
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: people freaked out. Charlotte Flair came out. Who's Rick Claire's daughter?
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: Who she won the whole thing and she hadn't wrestled
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: in a long time.
- 1:00:41Speaker 5: And then.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: Because of TikTok and I get on mostly nineties wrestling
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: live and if you look live up, there was also
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: somebody too that got a huge pop. I gotta remember
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: her name. She's married Ryan Cabrera. I have to any
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: look at that, but live she looks like.
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: Was he Ashley Simpson?
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: Uh huh yeah, Alexa Bliss, Alexa Bliss. They freaked out
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: when Alexa Bliss came out, and I don't again, that
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: wasn't my time, But this live looks just like from
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: Suicide Squad. Harley Quinn, Yes, Margot, but Harley Quinn because
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: how she looked. But Margot Robbie tell me live, if
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: you google her, she doesn't look like Yeah, the ponytail
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: or the pigtails all of yes, yeah, so that happened,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: and that was a semi interesting Charlotte Fat Flair wins,
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: but I didn't really have any any any long term
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: long form interests because the basketball game was still coming
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: on now. Then they had a tag team match and
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: it was like the Motor City Madmen. I don't have
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: to show their name versus d I Y never heard
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: of either one of them.
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: Do it yourself.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: I don't know why they're calling that. And again I'm
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: not claiming to be like a super current wrestling of ficionado.
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: I loved wrestling, and then I liked wrestling and that
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: got out of wrestling, and now I just like it
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: to know the A tier only it was a kind
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: of boring tag team match. They did two out of
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: three falls. I just ready for it to be over.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: It is boring. What was stupid, though, was they still
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: do the thing where like somebody comes out of nowhere
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: and hit somebody with a crutch and then backs off
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: and somebody else wins, Like can we not retire that?
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: Like all of a sudden, they're doing the wrestling tag
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: team match and this guy in a hood comes up
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: and takes a crutch and as the other guys on
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: the top, Road goes whack and then he backs off
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: and then they.
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: Pin the guy who got somebody from the crowd or
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: it was a wrestler.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: I'm another tag team, but the match was ruined because
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: he came. Dude, they've been doing that, so it's like
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: I was a kid, like, can't we retire?
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: That's funny?
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: So that happens boring Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens, who
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: I know both of them. It was a ladder match
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: where they put the title up on top, and so
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: there's no ladder in the ring, but there are ladders
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: underneath the ring and around the ring. And the thing is,
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: you got to beat your guy up so much that
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: there's time for you to put the ladder in the ring,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: climb up, and the first person to grab the title
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: and hold it while they're on top wins the ladder match.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: These matches always crazy because there's always a couple like
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: big falls or slams from the top of the or something. Dude,
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: they went hard like first is a good match, and
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: they're doing the stuff back and forth and Cody Roads
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: American Nightmare whatever his name is, Kevin Owens is like crazy.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: Now Supposedly at the end, Kevin Owens slammed Cody Roads
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: into the ladder. So these are real ladders. These guys
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: have to learn how to take these faults. I was like,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: dudes did and Cody Roads just laid there. But even again,
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: we know that there's a script. That doesn't mean it
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: doesn't hurt.
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: You're still falling on a ladder, dude, or falling off
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: the ladder.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: So then so then they get back, the doctors come in.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: It's all work right, But the doctors come in and
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: they're like everybody okay, everybody okay, and so they get up.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: I love that the final pile driver thing where the
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: Cody Roads sent Kevin Owens through the ladder outside the ring.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: He like slammed him through and his head goes through.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: I wish you guys could pull it up on TikTok.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: There's no way this didn't hurt. Again, do they know
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: they we're gonna do it?
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: If he wasn't somewhat injured after this, I would be
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: in shock. So then Cody Roads wins, and Cody Roads
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: will wrestle it WrestleMania. But that was a pretty good match.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: I like the ladder match Cody Roads climb the ladder.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: You know had the title. Will you see if you
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: can find on TikTok read the Cody Roads slamming Kevin
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: Owens the final. It's like outside the ring. I promise you.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: His head goes into the ladder and the ladder like
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: breaks or goes down. Dude, it's crazy.
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: Have you ever gotten on on one of those one
- 1:04:41Speaker 3: of those rings?
- 1:04:41Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: They hurt?
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: How soft they seem soft? Are they not soft?
- 1:04:45Speaker 8: No?
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: They hurt. It's like someone going when you get tackled
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: on a football field you're in pads. No, it still hurts.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: I would compare the two very much. I mean, it's
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: not like this hard floor, but it's not like a
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: cushion or trampoline. Yeah, no, it's still solid. We are
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: you looking for yourself? No, I got it. We show Eddie,
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: Kevin these guys. Is he like on the table outside
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: the ring?
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: Ah?
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: Yes, tell me today he's got his head between his
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: legs and he's like, oh, oh yeah, there's no way
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: lands and the ladder breaks, yes, and his head like
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: lands on the ground. You're right, like that has to hurt.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: Is a big dude? A big dude.
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: Hey, the guy doing the power driver, how old is
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: he though? Because he doesn't want you. They're both probably
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: in their thirties. Dang dude, Yeah, you're right, dude, that's
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: gotta hurt.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: I'm saying, these are athletes.
- 1:05:33Speaker 4: Look at this I'm watching on Twitter. Like, if you
- 1:05:36Speaker 4: look at both of them, they both hurt. They probably
- 1:05:38Speaker 4: wait to the end of the match to actually pull
- 1:05:40Speaker 4: these off.
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: They're both like, do we really have to do this one?
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: As soon as he throws me in to the ladder,
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: he's like, stay down there, I'm done right now. Kill
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: sometime and like I feel sorry for them, And again
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: it's fake. No, no, no, the outcome is determined, but
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: that doesn't mean they're not getting hurt. Yeah, nothing about
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: that is fake. Oh oh my god.
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: Unless that ladder is ad it hurts.
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: So then it's time for the main event, the Royal Rumble.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: Thirty entrants. You know who some of them are, but
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: you don't know who all of them are, and there
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: are surprises and you just kind of are waiting. Uh,
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: you know John Cena was going to be there.
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: That's pretty cool.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: Do you guys ever see the Joe Henry like, say
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: his name you see that, never the memes or anything.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: So he shows up and he's like the champion for
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: another but he's super viral. Roman Reigns. Do you guys
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: know who that is? These are people that I know, Okay,
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: Roman Rainns who hasn't fought, hasn't been a roll rumble
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: like five years because he's been the champion, So you
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: don't get in it. If you're the champion, it's to
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: fight the champion. They came out huge pops, like, crowd
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: goes crazy. What was interesting was this guy you have
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: to look up his name, Joey Joey v or whatever,
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: who wins. It wasn't super familiar with them, because again
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: I'm not in depth of the wrestling world. You could
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: tell the crowd loved him and he goes yee. Yet, yeah,
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: he beats John Babyface, crowd loves him. But then I'm
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: watching people online get so upset because his family comes
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: out and then there's like some Instagram stuff that comes
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: out of them after the match, the whole families with them,
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: and even some of the guys who's fighting in the ring.
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: You know that his enemies are like just celebrating him
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: because it's a massive milestone for somebody who's never wanted,
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: who has never really got to push, that finally gets
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: the push. Some of them, I get holding, Okay, I've
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: let them in, do you know it is now hopefully
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: they don't go in to murder. But yeah, So the
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: fans are like, I wish they would leave this behind
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: the scenes stuff, just put it in a documentary because
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: we don't want to see this, We want it to
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: stay real. And I kind of get annoyed at that
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: version of the fan because you know that the outcome
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: is determined. You know, they are playing a character because
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: they can switch and go heal babyface on a single night.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: They can switch their whole trajectory. That would be like
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: if Daniel Radcliffe was promoting Harry Potter and you're like,
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: I wish during his whole promotion he would just keep
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: riding the room. You know, he's an actor, you know
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: he's not really Harry Potter, and you know it behind
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: the scenes he goes to Starbucks, yeah, and gets in
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: his car and drives. So these people that were getting
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: so mad to see the behind the scenes of like
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: everybody celebrating, even his enemies. You're watching characters you can
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: separate the two. You know the two. You're smart enough
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: to know they're playing characters. But people were getting so mad.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: They were showing like the real life. But I was like,
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: I like to see this stuff. This is cool. This
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: is the human part of it real. It's like seeing again,
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: pick your favorite actor, not John It's Keanu Reeves walking
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: down the street with his girl, not John Wick. Like
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: you want to see him play the bass in Starhead
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: or whatever the band is. So it's pretty cool. I
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: watched all of it. I was never bored. I started
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: watching it because I was just curious to watch a
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: paper view without having to pay for it, because back
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: in the day, he's had to pay for every pay
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: per view, and I had seen a royal rumble in
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: its entirety in forever. I'd watch a bunch of clips
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: and I thought, I'm gonna watch him keep notes until
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: I'm bored, and then I'll make a note that I'm bored.
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: I enjoyed all of it.
- 1:09:06Speaker 7: Well.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: The tag team title thing was a little lame, but
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: they're only two solem or two regular matches. The Cody Rhodes,
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: who's Dusty Rose's son, one of his sons, and then
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: Kevin Oens. Match was good, but then the role rum
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: was awesome. Like Jake Paul came out, he was thirty
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: No logan Paul the wrestler. Look, he's good.
- 1:09:24Speaker 3: Like he's a good tall one. Yeah, I don't know
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: that tall one. He's the one that's not as thick,
- 1:09:30Speaker 3: not the one that box Tyson.
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: Yeah, he's funny. He got thrown out of the ring,
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: but he jumped across and land on the table and
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: he's like, both my feet haven't at the ground, So
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: he just sat on the table and watch every baby
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: the everybody guess hilarious. Obviously, again you don't have to say,
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: like we know it's all screed. I know, but it's
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: really good. I enjoyed it. I enjoyed it.
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: How does Jimmy V get picked? Like, how does all
- 1:09:48Speaker 3: that work?
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: Who's Jimmy V?
- 1:09:49Speaker 9: Oh?
- 1:09:49Speaker 3: I don't know the winner?
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: Who's the g jau so Joe so j j e
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: y uso jay u so thank you?
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: Well that guy, Like, how does he get picked to
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: win the whole thing?
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: That's the creative Triple H? They just because Triple H
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: is like head one of the executives over there him
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: Stephanie McMahon. Even though Vince is not in the company
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: that owns it, it's not the same company. Yeah, there's
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: a team of writers and creatives the same choose him.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: Of course they're like I think for the storyline, this
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: happening that leads us to this, same as the soap opera.
- 1:10:16Speaker 3: Right, but when you get celebrated like you didn't do anything,
- 1:10:20Speaker 3: you just got written in, Like what are you celebrating
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: the fact that you're the one that got chosen.
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: A great performer, a great performance, and not only that,
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: the fact that they have finally they think you're good
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: enough now to be the person that does this. Like
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: there was a huge moment for him in his career.
- 1:10:34Speaker 3: That probably goes into it. Yeah, like are you good
- 1:10:36Speaker 3: enough to be the chanmce.
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: Yeah, they're not going to pick you if you're some
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: scrub amateur got it? So it was like it just happened.
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: Now I'm finally the champion. This is crazy.
- 1:10:44Speaker 3: Yeah, that makes sense to me. Okay, I was wondering,
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: like that's just weird, like that they just pick. It's
- 1:10:49Speaker 3: all scripted, like say one day like Read wins, right,
- 1:10:52Speaker 3: and we're all like, good job Read, but we just
- 1:10:54Speaker 3: picked to win.
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: I think mostly it's you're celebrating a career and finally
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: in your career, you've reached a point where they have
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: deemed you to be the winner of this major event
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: and you just had a great performance and you won,
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: and like more than just that match, it's like congratulations.
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: Now the company, the culture of wrestling has decided, like
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: your next guy up. That's awesome, and yeah, super super
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: WrestleMania comes up in Las Vegas.
- 1:11:21Speaker 3: Where was this?
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: This was in Indianapolis, all right down the road.
- 1:11:25Speaker 3: You could have gone in person.
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: We wish you to WrestleMania.
- 1:11:29Speaker 3: Is that a lot of kids? A lot of kids there?
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: No, it's there's some, but no, it's not like show
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: biz pizza. It's mostly adults. Yeah, mostly adults, very little women.
- 1:11:38Speaker 5: Whenever read and I went to Summer Slam, the line
- 1:11:40Speaker 5: for the men's bathroom was like out the door, women
- 1:11:43Speaker 5: go right ahead.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: I figured that, Yeah, WrestleMania is in Vegas, so that
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: would that would be fun.
- 1:11:50Speaker 10: Do you see when that streamer I show speed got
- 1:11:53Speaker 10: sent out and got speared?
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: I did see it. I watched the I watched the
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: whole show man, dude, So what happened? Was there was
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: guy that was coming out and they're like, uh, seventh,
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: I don't know the number it was. And he comes
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: out and he's like yeah. And then another wrestler they
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: just got kicked out, punches them and he gets knocked out,
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: so they so he doesn't even get to go in.
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: So Triple Ah's back there with the heads ofteines. We
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: got to find somebody to go out in the spot.
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: And so Speed's back there. I know Speed from racing
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: everybody on the internet, challenging Tyreek, jumping over the cars, big,
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: big streamer, influencer, and so he's like okay, so he
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: goes out and lights up Speed and so he gets
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: in and you know, he gets in the ring, does
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: a flip and as soon as you enter the ring
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: you get to do a couple moves and it's all
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: on you, right, it's it's orchestrated. And so was it
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: braun Strowman? Who was it that?
- 1:12:40Speaker 7: Or was it?
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: So he speared him hard I'm talking about there's no
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: way he wasn't hurt because there were camera there were
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: phone angles from the stands show them this. This is
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: worse than the Cody rhads. Yeah, this is bad. So
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: watch this is him. Oh so he flips. I watched
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: this chilling, chilling.
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: Who oh, I don't care if you know that's coming that.
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: And you watch his neck pop, his snap, it's got
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: the neck raisin. Bron breaker, bron breaker and bron Breaker
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: is Rick Steiner's son, I believe, or Scott Steiner's son,
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: one of the Steiner brothers, right that I have to
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: like remember, Oh, man, he got hit hard, d It
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: was a big boy hitting him too, one of those
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: guys with a Steiner brothers.
- 1:13:22Speaker 5: Yeah, Rick Steiner, Scott Steiner's his uncle.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: Got it, dude? Can you show him a phone like
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: from like in the arena? Oh got his cell phone?
- 1:13:33Speaker 3: This is even what a crazy sport.
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: It's so athletic.
- 1:13:37Speaker 3: Yeop, for sure.
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: But then again, I'm not like a dial in a
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: plus watcher and app. When I watch it, I started
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: to get pissed off of people for being like wrestling stupid.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: Watch watch this from his cell phone. It's the most
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: athletic scripted thing I've ever seen. This is cell phone footage.
- 1:13:53Speaker 3: Yeah that's a hard hit, dude, he gets That's like
- 1:13:56Speaker 3: a linebacker hit.
- 1:13:57Speaker 10: The way he's bouncing off the ropes coming in the speed.
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: Dude.
- 1:14:01Speaker 3: He turns around and.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: Later he was showing Logan Paul his leg and the
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: chunk of leg that was that was missing because he
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: took out such a hard fall. Dude, that's crazy anyway,
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: that's speed, that's speed. He races everybody. Nobody can outrun him. Geez,
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: we're done.
- 1:14:19Speaker 3: I can see myself getting into this for sure. Yes,
- 1:14:23Speaker 3: especially with four boys. You seem punk came out. I
- 1:14:25Speaker 3: was like, let's go, oh dude, the boys and they
- 1:14:27Speaker 3: got into it. Yeah, but we don't do We don't
- 1:14:30Speaker 3: do wrestling, So like I feel like if I introduce
- 1:14:32Speaker 3: him to that, we'd be all in.
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: The problem with UFC and long term is those are
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: real fights and these people don't last a long time
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: because they're really fighting. Yes for the superstar shelf life
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: not long because you age, you get beat up. That's
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: real life. You can wrestle a little longer.
- 1:14:51Speaker 3: Like sign it got beat this weekend.
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: I don't even know where that is. Dude, is I
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: do when you say Israel? Yeah, he does the whole
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: praying thing.
- 1:15:00Speaker 8: Knock.
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: I saw him getting knocked out. He's lost a couple
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: of times in row here on the way down. Yeah,
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: like he's like, I'm not afraid to die and he
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: goes in. Yeah yeah, that's crazy. Is John Jones still awesome?
- 1:15:11Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 1:15:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: Any fights yeah, like he gets suspended and stuff.
- 1:15:14Speaker 3: Right, Yeah, he's a nice guy now though, like he's
- 1:15:17Speaker 3: keep baby face. He plays a nice guy, but he
- 1:15:21Speaker 3: still knocks people out.
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: Yeah, it's awesome. Okay, thank you, Kevin. We're really sorry, dude.
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: I know Kevin can't even join the show. No, I
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: really can't that whole I don't even know what we
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: just talked about for last or whatever. Nothing. All right,
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: thank you guys.
- 1:15:32Speaker 4: We will.
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: We'll be on the bus so we may throw up
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: an episode earlier than normal.
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: It's gonna have the hum in the background.
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: Well, we got on a plane, did it once and
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: there was no harm.
- 1:15:43Speaker 3: That's true knowledge. We did do that, didn't we.
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: Uh Yeah, okay, thank you and Eddie blow the whistle
