Transcript
- 0:04[SPEAKER_04]: Last time on, the dead don't testify.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_01]: The Christmas Eve blizzard is freezing this city salad, but the fire burning underneath the bell where the corruption is about to blow wide open.
- 0:20[SPEAKER_01]: I took Fay with their injuries over to an old friend Toby, some a back room of pop-a-carry to get a patched up, or he and I organized the paper trail of all the evidence that we're going to bring to district attorney Hayes.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_01]: Come and two, another vision from Fay brought us right to the catacombs beneath the virtuoso theater, where we found and recruited some trapped minus spirits, breached a police perimeter,
- 0:43[SPEAKER_01]: think God found Amelia live in a cell with a Ryan's notebook with further evidence to help our cause.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_01]: Down at the Siphoning Corps, we learned that there were over 40 pounds disaster ghosts powering the machine like batteries, when we cornered Finch and Lenovo with a two-my-shock favorite of bullet in her own grandmother's head, forcing Finch to throw the emergency shutdown liver.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_01]: Now this copper grids overloaded with blue static and Orion's spirit has risen up out of the stage pit.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_01]: We got to find the way to undo these bindings before the whole core blows up with all of us in it.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_04]: When ore bell weather is hit the floor,
- 1:35[SPEAKER_04]: for one second, the chamber of ghost silent.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_04]: And then, the copper conduit screams, blue-light tears through the stage pit, the pylons flare, each one holding the shape of a trapped spirit.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_04]: The dead of 1919, the dead of the virtuoso, every name bell-weather city erased.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_04]: Not whole, flickering, his coat is soaked, his chest still marked by those three dark bullet wounds.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_04]: But Fay, you can hear him, not with your ears, but you can feel him inside that broken place, where your twin bond used to be.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_04]: And you hear, if Fay, it fades in like an echo.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_04]: Listen,
- 2:30[SPEAKER_04]: No time.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_04]: All right, in.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_04]: The grid shutters, and it's starting to see pieces of wood start to split up top, and pieces of rock are starting to fall.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_04]: Little pieces.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_04]: The free spirits are starting to pull backward.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_04]: They're dragging towards the machine and the machine's final cycle.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_04]: I'll stir Fenty's stabbers up from the console, he's pale, and he's shaking, and he's like, oh no, oh no, oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
- 3:21[SPEAKER_04]: He's a little man, he's like five, two, and he has his glasses on.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_04]: And he's shivering.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, I can stop it, I can stop it, I know how, but I want your word, I swear, I want your word.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_04]: I will help you destroy it.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_04]: You keep me alive.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_04]: He points his finger at you, shakes.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I'll keep you alive.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_03]: I grab Finch from the, from his, cut on the peels.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, do it, and I will help you, but do it.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_04]: You hear inside your head, say, from your brother, he knows, trust his fear.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_03]: I know, brother.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, I think you have three steps.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_04]: In order, I first, someone holds the surge level, pass the red line.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_04]: Do not, let go.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_02]: Got it.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_04]: Who, who?
- 4:09[SPEAKER_02]: I'll do that.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_02]: I can do that.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_04]: You, okay, okay.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_02]: And your George will roll the sleeves up and go over there.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, okay, second, someone removes the three silver iron clamps from the center pile on left, right, center, I've got it now, got it if they snap the backlash kills whoever is closest, I've got it, okay, third, this one specific to the bell rather fatally so
- 4:35[SPEAKER_04]: Faye, you must call your brother's name while the circuit is open, and when he answers, I will cut the grounding cable and then he swallows hard.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_04]: This is the only way to release him without burning the others, and then the conduit starts to pulse.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, I don't have much time.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_04]: He looks at you both.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_04]: Look back.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_04]: It's time.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_04]: So he looks at you, Fay.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_04]: Waiting.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_04]: Let's go.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to open the circuit.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_04]: And as soon as I do, you say his name.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_01]: You cut that cable.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_04]: You go.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_04]: Finch calls out.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, there's some time in the has to go on.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_04]: He looks to you, George.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_04]: Hold it.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_04]: Hold it.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_04]: Now, the first clamp.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_04]: Plant.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_04]: Don't twist it.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_04]: Pull it clean.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_04]: And you hear him your head, say, say, I'm here.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_03]: I can hear you, brother.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_02]: I'm gonna do one thing first.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_02]: Once per session, I can smell a lie.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_02]: Is Finch actually going to cut it?
- 5:44[SPEAKER_04]: He is going to cut it.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_02]: I just needed to know, because I was like, he could completely undo it if he wanted to.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm like, I'm just gonna, I'll use it on that.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_04]: Listen, it's almost like you've played with me before and you know my trickster ways.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_02]: I guess that's the sigh of So I had to check it.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_02]: I had the ability to check.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_04]: But you know, you're not of course.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_04]: If you've got it, you've got to use it.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_04]: No, you're not smelling any deception, but fear and anxiety for sure.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_04]: Probably a little bit gross.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_04]: He scared.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_04]: So he looks at you.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_04]: He goes, say his name now.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_04]: Orion fell with her, and then he goes and he has large industrial scissors, and he goes and cuts the line.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_04]: It falls, and the chamber drops into darkness.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_04]: Everything except Orion.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_04]: Everything is in darkness, and you just see the glow of your brother.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_04]: and he looks more full now.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_04]: And he starts to float towards you.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_04]: And you can hear in the darkness.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, you, you, you can let go now, everybody.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_02]: I let go.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_03]: Brother, brother, what happened?
- 7:08[SPEAKER_03]: What did you find?
- 7:10[SPEAKER_03]: I know you can't talk.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_03]: Go on, be free, we'll take care of this.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_04]: He can't say full sentences, but he does end to your mind.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_04]: He says, not your fault.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_03]: I wasn't there for you.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_03]: I can do this at least.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_03]: And again, he says, not your fault.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_03]: Go.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_03]: Be free.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_03]: I love you.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_03]: And I keep saying, over and over, I love you.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_03]: I love you.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_04]: He comes and he floats over to you, and George, you can see all of us at Amelia, you can see it.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_04]: The body floats toward you, and he goes to lay his forehead against yours, like you've done many times when your children.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_03]: And through the tears, you can actually see a smile on face, face,
- 8:12[SPEAKER_04]: As that grounding cable was cut, lights went out.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_04]: It took a second, but finally, blue white fire starts to rip through the conduit.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_04]: And the pylons burst open in light and spirits rise from the machine, soaked dock workers, ash-covered actors, nurses, children.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_04]: All the erase dead, they start to lift and lift and they are out.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_04]: You do, but it's faint.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_04]: Operatic.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_02]: Ma?
- 8:48[SPEAKER_02]: George takes this head off.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sorry, Ma.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_04]: You don't see your mother, but you hear her voice.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_04]: It's without a shadow of a doubt.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sorry you were here by yourself.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm sorry that I lost my way
- 9:06[SPEAKER_02]: was fixated on anchor, anchor at myself, anchor at the world.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_02]: I hope you can find peace now.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_04]: The singing becomes faint and then soon it is gone.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_04]: Amelia puts her arm around you.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_04]: Orion starts to lift as well, fey, he seems to be the last to go.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_04]: He looks at you, and you're, I'm say, I love you.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_03]: I love you, brother.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_03]: I'll see you on the other side.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_04]: And then the twin bond opens.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_04]: Not breaks, but it opens, and Orion bell weather passes beyond the bay.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_04]: And when the light fades, you see Alister Finch, is on his knees, staring at his dead machine, and he looks greatly sad and that he finally looks at you both nervous.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_03]: Finch, this was an evil thing.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_03]: It was a great invention, but it was an evil thing.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_03]: Your mind, I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-
- 10:44[SPEAKER_02]: and you sing like a bird.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_02]: I'll make sure you can continue to do little projects somewhere else.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_04]: Because if I talk, I'm going to go to prison.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_04]: I can work there.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_02]: I know how to go down.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, God, go down.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going down.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_02]: Calm down, I know somebody.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_02]: I know enough people.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_02]: And we got enough of them.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_02]: And with you here with it, you here as a witness to it.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_02]: You can get the sweetest deal you want.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_02]: But somebody has to answer for this, and if you're not going to, you might as well help us make sure people do.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_03]: Bring down my father, help us bring down my father and the rest of the family.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_03]: You're the small fry in this.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_02]: They would throw you under the bus to protect themselves, but now you actually have a moment here.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_02]: We have a moment here.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_03]: can I get a pool from?
- 11:45[SPEAKER_03]: Sure.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_03]: I will use my delude.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_03]: Oh.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_00]: That is persuasion, so yeah.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_03]: This is delude.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_03]: So with delude, I'll make it a complicated success.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_03]: And what did you pull?
- 12:00[SPEAKER_03]: It was a night of staves.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_04]: They suggest that the state's consequences are frightened past trauma memory.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_04]: I think what happens is that there is a memory.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_04]: Immediately, you see your grandmother off to the side.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_04]: And I know she has done some heinous stuff, but still killing someone does something to a person.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_04]: So there's a shiver that goes to your body.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_04]: And you're a minded of taking a life.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_04]: and you see this pathetic helpless man in front of you.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_04]: And I'm gonna say there is a mark of trauma that comes because of everything that's happened this night.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_04]: And you can tell me, but...
- 12:47[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not sure there's much in you that wants to be particularly mean to him, even though he has done or he at least he helped in something horrible.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, yes.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_03]: We're now afraid doesn't think that Finch is evil like Lenor was.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_03]: She was the mastermind.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_03]: He was her puppet.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_03]: In what way she doesn't know, but knowing how strong willed and obstinate had persisted her grandmother was, she is certain that it was Lenore who ran everything.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_03]: It was Lenore who instigated and orchestrated everything.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_03]: Especially looking at Finch, he looks pathetic, he looks like a man who, in his youth, probably fell in love with Lenore, and couldn't deny her anything.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_02]: Damien reading this guy like a book.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_03]: There is so much in this that Fay just can't find it in her to find fault in him.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_03]: Other than to see him as a weakling in a coward who was overtaken by circumstances and just couldn't find the strength of conviction.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_04]: So he'll stand up, he'll put his hands up, he goes, okay, okay, if you can find me a good lawyer, then.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_04]: Fine.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, you and I both will need good lawyers.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_03]: I'll pick the big gulp.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_03]: We got to get out of here.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we should.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_03]: We need to take him to the hospital or to the doctor.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_02]: Well, thank goodness they got doctors at hospitals.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_02]: I'm gonna, yeah, I'm gonna check on M because she's been kind of quiet.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_04]: Amelia says, listen, I'm fine.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_04]: I don't need a hospital.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_04]: Trust me.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_04]: I just need some rest.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_02]: You've got a real bad shine right now.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_04]: I really, really.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_04]: It's fine.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_04]: It's just a black thing.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_02]: Tell me the other guy's got a broken joy at least.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_02]: Busted nose?
- 15:18[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I mean, the other guy is outside fighting the other guy.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_04]: So maybe?
- 15:24[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, good.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't feel bad for him at all.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_04]: Listen, it's just a black eye.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_04]: I really just need... What about... Rest.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_03]: What about the baby?
- 15:33[SPEAKER_04]: Oh.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_03]: All right, and told us.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_04]: Right, well, I guess we'll talk about it more, but I just need a place to rest, that's it.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_04]: I swear, just a couch will do at this point, I don't care, I just have been sleeping in terrible places over the past few weeks.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_03]: Well, let's get some more safe.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_04]: Torch?
- 15:59[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I guess if you're okay with seeing your brother,
- 16:04[SPEAKER_04]: What does Toby have to do with this?
- 16:07[SPEAKER_04]: George?
- 16:08[SPEAKER_02]: Let's just say, I had to do what I had to do to help you.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_02]: And ironically, with Toby's help, we're going to be able to stick this to them.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_04]: I told you to leave him alone.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_04]: He's not good people, George.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_02]: There's who's good people anymore.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, God.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_02]: Emma had no choice.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_04]: We're trying to be good.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_02]: I had no choice.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_04]: We're trying to be good.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_02]: He's so busy.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_02]: We know what's so busy.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_02]: He's trying.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_02]: If he didn't help, if he did help us, when we needed it, we wouldn't be here.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_02]: I'll say that.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_02]: I don't say you got to forgive him.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_02]: I don't say you got to be nice to him.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_02]: OK. All I know is he's got a couch and no one's looking for anybody near him.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm desperate enough to take it.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_02]: Compromise.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_02]: We got this.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_04]: I agree.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_04]: As you guys make your way out, the officers have knocked each other out, like their lane unconscious.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_02]: George will disarm each one of them.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_02]: Make sure that they're kind of upright so they don't like drown in the muck or anything like that.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_02]: He's also going to hand cuff them each to each other into the pipes just so they can't do anything.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_04]: It has turned into a real Christmas who done it.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_04]: It's reminded me of come along.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_04]: It is Christmas morning and bell weather city.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_04]: The blizzard has finally broken.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_04]: It leaves four feet of clean snow.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_04]: And inside there's a steam radiator that clink steadily.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_04]: Amelia sits by the window.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_04]: She's wrapped in a dry wool blanket.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_04]: not talking to her brother.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_04]: It's a little awkward because of their relationship in here and she's holding a warm cup of coffee.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_04]: On a desk nearby, on the tables, is all the stacks of evidence.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_04]: Purge letter assigned by Captain Vasquez, LaNore's transfer orders, and you even have Orion's unedited notebook, everything that he found as well.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_04]: That's what Emilia was holding.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_02]: George would have gotten up in the
- 18:37[SPEAKER_02]: bagels and like for breakfast sandwiches for everybody, he also would have stopped by his office to grab that old Christmas Reath and he's going to bring it all that in when he gets there.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_02]: Mary Christmas saw that you didn't have a tree so this will be a close second and he'll put it.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_04]: Toby goes, oh this.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_02]: Thanks, you're no problem.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_02]: Bacon egg and cheese salt pepper ketchup
- 19:07[SPEAKER_04]: Perfect.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_04]: I was just going to eat a cold slice I had in the fridge.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_02]: No, it was wrong with you, it was Christmas.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_04]: Isn't he looks at the calendar?
- 19:16[SPEAKER_04]: Oh.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_04]: OK. And it's already Christmas.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_04]: Well, Merry Christmas, everybody.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_04]: Amelia, he looks over at a sister.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_04]: She does like a side eye.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_04]: She doesn't look sure if she's going to talk to her.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_02]: M.P.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_02]: is your sandwich.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_02]: Two eggs, extra cheese.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_04]: Thanks, George.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_04]: She still looks a little tired, but she woke up eventually.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_04]: It's around 10 a.m. She goes to stand up.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_03]: Where is Fay?
- 19:45[SPEAKER_03]: Fay's in, and if Toby let her, Fay would have been in the apartment too.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_03]: Just on the couch, Amelia will go up to you.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_04]: And so grab a hand and say, thank you for all the help for finding me.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_04]: I really appreciate it.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_03]: Orion wanted me to find you, so it was the least I could do besides, even though you in George got divorced, he's my friend, he's my friend, what makes you my friend?
- 20:27[SPEAKER_04]: No, we're friends, they after this, friends of the light.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, sister.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_04]: I, your brother was a good man, and I'm sorry for, for your loss.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_03]: It means a lot coming from you.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_04]: He didn't deserve to go out that way, but he was doing something very noble, so I respect him for that.
- 20:47[UNKNOWN]: Thank you.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_04]: And I guess it's time for a little confession.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_04]: And he sees she's like ringing her hands, she's a little nervous.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_03]: They will grab her hands.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, we're all family here.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_03]: There's nothing to worry about being such about or be ashamed of.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_03]: Easy to set the done thing, but I appreciate it.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_03]: And she smiles at you.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_03]: They will reach over and put an arm around her and side bear hugger.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, so hold on to you.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_03]: I'm here.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, where's George at?
- 21:25[SPEAKER_02]: George went and cleaned himself up.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_02]: He actually also picked up like some, like, bar basal and a straight razor and he actually took some time to shave and clean his face up a little bit.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, he comes out, like, a couple, a couple of nicks here and there with a little, like, white, strand-age strip.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, he's cleaned up a bit.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_02]: His mustache is all trimmed and not fried anymore.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_02]: Well, the five o'clock shadows gone.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_02]: He's...
- 21:55[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like a new me.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_02]: What's everyone talking about?
- 22:00[SPEAKER_04]: Amelia says... George?
- 22:03[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah?
- 22:05[SPEAKER_04]: It's yours.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_02]: Maya.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_02]: My second ability that I chose was everyone is a liar, where I can use the smell a lie a second time in a session.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_02]: Is Amelia telling me the truth?
- 22:22[SPEAKER_04]: Yes.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_02]: OK.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_02]: Here's the fun art.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_02]: George wouldn't have cared anyway.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_02]: He gets a big smile on his face.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_02]: I guess it's a Christmas miracle.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_04]: A little bit of a timeline explanation.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_04]: Four months ago, when I came to your office, George, and I had that moment of weakness.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_04]: She'd like to touch the hair behind her ear, and we had a rendezvous.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, hey, hey, and we don't kiss and tell, let's all right.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_04]: I was, I, the, I just, well, phase, right?
- 23:07[SPEAKER_04]: We're all family here.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_04]: and he like does a crossover is for some reason Toby does the cross symbol across his body.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_04]: You know that he zips his mouth is like to gesture that he's not going to say anything.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_04]: She says I was scared.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_04]: We had been separated but I missed the only man that
- 23:30[SPEAKER_04]: helped me.
- 23:31[SPEAKER_04]: Me and I were at Ryan had tried dating from being honest, but he knew my heart wasn't there.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_04]: So when I found out I was pregnant, I told him the truth.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_04]: And he didn't turn away because he's a good man.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_04]: And he took me in anyway to keep me safe from your family, Fay.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_04]: I'm so sorry for that.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_04]: I'm so sorry for you and having to deal with them.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_04]: It's a lot.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, well, I've had to deal with them all my life, just as Orion did, this, this, this was coming, this was a long time coming.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_02]: You know, it is Christmas.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_02]: It's Christmas.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to give them a beautiful Christmas gift, lumps of coal and a sepina and a lost.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_04]: He knew the baby wasn't even his, and he still believed that this child deserved a world without this bell-whether curse or whatever.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_03]: That's my brother.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_04]: Is the ledger's here?
- 24:41[SPEAKER_04]: George?
- 24:44[SPEAKER_04]: Prosecutor Hayes has enough evidence here to indict Captain Vaskas.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_04]: Strip the bell-whethers of their holdings and end this cover-up forever.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_02]: Just gotta let good people do the right thing.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_02]: And not be scared of any more bullies lurking in the shadows.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_04]: And...
- 25:08[SPEAKER_04]: Exactly.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_02]: Merry Christmas, everybody.
- 25:12[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_03]: Double Christmas, miracle.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_04]: Toby comes back and he has a drink and it smells good this time it smells like peppermint he's like it's just peppermint tea everybody it's just peppermint tea but I do got some bathtub gin if you want some amelia it won't hurt the baby I swear no don't you keep that stuff away from you keep that stuff away from him you can have fun on Christmas can't we that's true it's true
- 25:39[SPEAKER_04]: All right, we'll have four cups of hand out.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_04]: It's steaming hot.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_03]: Feels good.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_03]: Spend a relaxing Christmas morning with friends, family, found family.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_04]: So it is December 25th, 1929, and we're going to go into like a quasi-downtime phase a little bit.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_04]: The ghosts of 1919 are at peace, and Belle weather city wakes up under a clean blanket of snow as we saw.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_04]: How has your character been permanently changed by this case?
- 26:42[SPEAKER_04]: And what is the first sitting they do in the new year?
- 26:44[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm kind of asking, of a bit of a montage of the next few months of
- 26:50[SPEAKER_02]: George does everything he can to help push the case forward, and with Amelia's help, the word gets out, with phase help, we track down all the bellweathers that were tethered to it, and there's just been like a huge anchor off of George's back, he's been chasing this, this white whale of the bellweather corruption for so long,
- 27:15[SPEAKER_02]: and wanting justice for his mother's unfortunate death and this whole string of bad dealings.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_02]: And now that it's done, I think he decides to, he asks Amelia, if they want to try to make things work, they don't have to get married again, they just live together, help each other out.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_02]: And he's actually thinking about moving out of Belle whether and,
- 27:42[SPEAKER_02]: going down, going down, up north where his father went and helping with the fish and tackle shop and you know, have some peace away from the noise.
- 27:53[SPEAKER_02]: And that's where he'd like to go.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_03]: Say, works with George to get the case prosecuted.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_04]: I have a question because I want to see how well the case goes.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_04]: Now, I kind of want one final pool.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_04]: Show it to you.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_04]: But this will be, you can make it with advantage because you have so much evidence.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_02]: Do it.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_04]: And then whatever the card says, that's what it represents.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_04]: OK. How the case went.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_03]: So one is a five of pentacles, which is a period.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_03]: And the other is the tower.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, my goodness.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_02]: The tower made an appearance.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, my, the tower.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_03]: Jesus.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_02]: This card is the hard necessary truth.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, oh, yes, God.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_02]: This perfect is represents the bell weather family, yep.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, because this.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, so this is Perfect because this is exactly what Fay was going to be doing.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_03]: Fay roots out Now that Lenore's dead
- 29:00[SPEAKER_03]: The Fagos roots out all corruption in the family.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_03]: She exposes any and all dealings of Solomon and any of the other family members who
- 29:27[SPEAKER_03]: The A.G.s office have put their tentacles into the mayor's office anything at all.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_03]: Now that she has access to the North's documents,
- 29:42[SPEAKER_03]: She will root out everything, and the family fortune will be used to fund a, well, for one thing, a research laboratory for Finch, to do, to do good research, because there is a lot of innovation that could be made to better the lives of the community and the world in general.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_03]: but she will also use the family fortune to create jobs, create centers where people who are homeless can have a housing, can live and work, more they can have their kids be taken care of
- 30:41[SPEAKER_03]: work with other family members to try to create a mini utopia in the city.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_03]: It's the bestest post.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, as close as they can see a lot of, a lot of these people are actually working on the buildings that were bought out from Belweather and restoring them.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_04]: So eventually, the virtuoso theater gets back up and running.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_02]: Yay.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_03]: She will make sure that the
- 31:10[SPEAKER_03]: elections are clean and we'll bring up to a city council, the proposal to the proposal to change the name of the town so so that it is no longer called bell weather and we'll leave it up to the town to what the town should be called.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and as you're doing this, shall we say, philanthropic work, this charity?
- 31:42[SPEAKER_04]: If it work, yep, that's a good work.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_04]: Bellweather City is left renewed and currently being restored.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_04]: The sun climbs over the south docks and it paints the frozen spires of Bellweather City in gold and rose.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_04]: down in the underway, the bells, the St. Morrison, told 8 o'clock, but it's not with any type of high-voltage static.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_04]: It's with the clear, simple ring of bronze over water.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_04]: And the case is closed.
- 32:16[SPEAKER_04]: The ghosts are at rest, and a new morning begins.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_04]: And that is the end of our series, everybody.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_04]: Yay.
