- 0:02Enough is enough. I don't have any share your shock and we hold the
- 0:08world ransom for excuse me while I whipped this out broadcasting live and Atlanta,
- 0:16Georgia. This this is the Sports Shot Ship with Wayne Gandy. You may
- 0:23Vega fan. Come to time comes, it comes to Mork. Is it
- 0:32just I'm a doing? Yeah, I'm gonna go on the way you made
- 0:40Vegan. Welcome, Welcome, Welcome. You're listening to the sport Shock Show.
- 0:46I'm the Sports Shock Wayne Gandy. Good morning to you out there and
- 0:49listening. Land Glad to be here with you on this beautiful November day.
- 0:54And and stop complaining. I know it's been one day and we fell back
- 0:59and you're still griping. Just go to your car and go to your clocks
- 1:03and bit Kenny, get your hands off the computer and bad producer, give
- 1:07me your eyes and stop looking at yourself in the on video. Look at
- 1:11me. This is why Josh McDaniel ain't the coach, because he wanted law
- 1:19and order. The players wanted Antonio Piers. I know I played against Peers.
- 1:23It's wild in bedlam over there with Piers. Oh yeah, they drinking,
- 1:29smoking, they doing everything with Piers as the head coach. You you
- 1:33got a match. Sometimes Josh McDaniel's coming just the wrong cruel people, that's
- 1:38all. He is. More of a Jimmy garoppolo style, not Nathan prizbying
- 1:47those guys. Them guys want to get wild. They in Vegas. You
- 1:51gotta go get Jimmy. Didn't. I just say, stop touching your phone,
- 1:55don't, don't put your hand on it, don't, don't update,
- 1:57don't do nothing to it. Move that left hand. Put it down to
- 2:00your side, sir, could you there you go? Thank you, thank
- 2:05you. Just put it down to the side or put it in your lap.
- 2:08There you go? I mean, can I get any respect on my
- 2:15own show? Could I please? Why do we have to start every morning
- 2:22like this? And it's how Josh mc daniels every time he went to a
- 2:27team meeting, he was going through these same things. I just told you
- 2:30this five minutes ago and were back to the same comma. Say you know
- 2:34how hard it is to stay with people like that, not just talking about
- 2:38the Oakland Raiders coach who's there no more? And then the Raiders off the
- 2:40leash and they're running hot for a game because you have to win the game
- 2:46after you get the coach fire. It's a muss. As a player,
- 2:52you have to go and win the game. But glad to be here with
- 2:58you, commands you. Greg is in the building, Big any of the
- 3:00funny man himself, and as you already know, the bad producer is here
- 3:02as well. Had a great weekend of sports college football. Thank you for
- 3:07the show you put on Saturday. A lot of games. Have you put
- 3:12your Colorado Buffalo stuff up yet? Have you packed it? It's okay to
- 3:16put it up. It's winter now. Can you stop talking over me,
- 3:21sir? When I'm talking, I'm not asking for a man from the corner.
- 3:25It's gonna be one of them kind of days, isn't it. I
- 3:29already see as I said, this is why Josh McDaniels got fired. He
- 3:35was in there, he was trying to do his thing, and y'all just
- 3:38keep coming in late, coming from the casino. He probably had just simple
- 3:43rules like show up with your shoes on. Everybody had to come back to
- 3:47work tomorrow, the shoes. Simple rules that in Vegas sometimes could get you
- 3:53know, lamar odom. Think about it, man. I'm just you know,
- 3:58we got a good show for you today. We got a lot to
- 4:00talk about. Big Kenny is interested. Well before I get to you,
- 4:03Big Kenny, because it was a good thing about the right on red band.
- 4:10I did realize watching the games yesterday, America powers of the Shield,
- 4:15NFL, the super Bowl stays here. We don't take the super Bowl International.
- 4:24We can give them a little taste in Germany, we can give them
- 4:27a little taste in London, we can give them a little taste in Mexico
- 4:30City, but the super Bowl stays. Because I was watching the game Dolphins
- 4:35Chiefs, and I realized that that's our thing. Lakosa Nostra is what they
- 4:44called them. That's our thing. That's our thing here that stays here.
- 4:48Because they don't move Wimbledon to us. They didn't. They didn't. They
- 4:51haven't decided to move that kind of stuff. The British Open is still not
- 4:57They're not doing it over in North Dakota, right, they do it over
- 5:00across the pond. So we keep our super Bowl to us, and if
- 5:04they want to come over and get us get a little bit of it,
- 5:08then okay. But it's an American thing. It is our sports, our
- 5:13crowning jewel of sport. There is nothing bigger than the super Bowl in our
- 5:17country. Don't don't move it. I thought about it. Don't don't do
- 5:21that. It's our thing, it belongs to us. It's what we celebrate.
- 5:27We've all most made the Monday after super Bowl, well, it's almost
- 5:30just became super Bowl weekend because we're people that they don't care who's in it.
- 5:35I'm not coming to work Thursday to Tuesday morning. They don't care who's
- 5:41in the game. Even the Saints and Falcons cheer for each other, they
- 5:45don't care who's in in it for those four days off. So let's keep
- 5:47our super Bowl here in town. But good morning, guys. How are
- 5:51your weekends? Fantastic? Fantastic? Okay, were you're part of that oxtail
- 5:57robbery? Unfortunately not. I wish I had got in on that sports.
- 6:02Interestingly enough, over the weekend I was out of the country, and we
- 6:06say it's our thing here, but in the airport. I'm sorry to cut
- 6:10you off, but Jackson Correctional Facility is not out of the country. It's
- 6:15actually just Mississippi. You know you ain't never been. I'm saying it hit
- 6:18different. It hit different when you inside, it feels like another world.
- 6:24I was actually in Puerto Rico. My son got married over the weekend,
- 6:28and in the airport, I thought they had taken a game to Say and
- 6:32Juan, because there were people everywhere head to toe NFL team gear. There
- 6:40were Miami people, there were Philadelphia Eagles people, there were New York Giants
- 6:46people. I saw some Minnesota Vikings fans head to toe, and I was
- 6:49like, the NFL has proliferated all over the world to the point where it
- 6:55took me a moment to realize, Oh, it's football Sunday. Maybe they're
- 6:58just repping for their team as travel, but it is a huge, huge
- 7:02thing abroad, and with the money that they've made in London, it's hard
- 7:05to say, like, let's not go get some of that money. I
- 7:09can see it's doing maybe a Super Bowl across the pond type thing. The
- 7:14NFL will go get the dollars. Now I'm still true because Kidney said he
- 7:17was abroad. Puerto Rico is as US. It's a United States territory.
- 7:24Serve it's outside of the United States. Let greed take everything away from you.
- 7:33Yes you can, No, you can't. They've done it. That's
- 7:35why they've done it. That's they need to go. This may be okay,
- 7:43okay, this may be as far as they need to go. But
- 7:45we've drawn that line before, and they have stepped the habitual line steppers.
- 7:50The NFL stepped over the line. A lot of times. People go,
- 7:54that's too much, that's too much. Remember give me when they moved.
- 7:59They've always had out of country games. I played in one and that was
- 8:03thy years ago. No, I'm saying the fact that they you're saying they
- 8:07wouldn't do it, it's traditional, like we should not we would not do
- 8:11that, and we wouldn't sell out for money. And the NFL has done
- 8:15a lot of things to increase their profits, a lot of things that purest
- 8:20football purists felt like they should not have done. We've seen them do that.
- 8:24Yeah, and then and then and then, and then the celebrity and
- 8:28the entertainer to say that I was at the super Bowl that was out of
- 8:31the country, the ticket just for that just to be like, that's that's
- 8:35just gonna be alone. That that's degreed. I'll see that on that part.
- 8:39Well, when you move the super Bowl outside of the country, then
- 8:43first and foremost, you lose all that money that stops being us money that
- 8:48starts being the other country money. It's the same reason that the powers that
- 8:52Uga and Florida want that game moved from a neutral site. Neither one of
- 8:58those teams, the cities aren't getting any that money. So if the games
- 9:03in Jacksonville, the hotels in Gainesville are not sold out, right, so
- 9:07creating as But we need the bag here, We need to be able to
- 9:11get the money for us. So I understand, well, you've made the
- 9:15product and you sold those people now in Puerto Rico are going to get them
- 9:20a ticket to where the Super Bowl is correct? Correct, don't reverse it,
- 9:24right, So you keep pushing it, pushing the envelope to the point
- 9:30that you can water down your product. And I've realized now that the the
- 9:35Puerto Rican Nationals that I saw getting on the plane with the Eagles gear,
- 9:39they were connecting in Atlanta to go to Dallas to watch or they were going
- 9:46to Philly to watch the game. So they do come out of Puerto Rico
- 9:50and we'll travel for a weekend or a week to go see their favorite team.
- 9:54So it makes sense. And if we start getting everything based on money,
- 9:58which is most of the things that we he start to despise then it
- 10:03becomes the pushback, bad produc to get your hand off the computer. I
- 10:07see out the corner eye. That's how I see the cornerback coming on the
- 10:11corner blitz. I'm looking at Greg, but I see the corner coming.
- 10:16So after I hit Greg, I'm gonna come off and get the corner.
- 10:18I just asked you. This is why Josh McDaniels had to be let go.
- 10:24He was in there trying to be me keeping rules and regulation. That's
- 10:31all he was trying to do. Vante Adams keep coming in there with his
- 10:35shirt off, eating the taco belled brito. But that's what you know.
- 10:41They got mad at him because he said they had long team meetings. He
- 10:43kept over correcting them. These are some of the things they had issue with,
- 10:50and when they brought him to him, he didn't change. Haven't We
- 10:54had a discussion about though, how at each level, and you've said yourself,
- 10:58by the time they get to the pros, a lot of that is
- 11:03gone, A lot of that coach you, Josh, Now you see what
- 11:09I'm saying. I'm the taco bell dude. I got my shirt off,
- 11:11and until I come in here, I'm outside in the world. Love what
- 11:16I'm doing. And then I come in here and you got your with your
- 11:18shirt at I mean what you mean with my shirt that Josh. So I'm
- 11:22on the record. I believe that Josh Daniel is just a good offensive coordinator.
- 11:30I cannot question him as a coordinator. I believe that once when he
- 11:33pours all of what he does just into that, he's solid. I think
- 11:39the trying to do both, trying to be himself, which is offensive coordinator
- 11:45and be Bill Belichick. For this group of men, it's the wrong because
- 11:50the Raiders have never had that guy. The Raivers coach, especially the successful
- 11:54ones, have always been Mavericks. Yeah. They right in the limo with
- 12:00the guys right, they're just covering their face up. Think about it.
- 12:07Marks glasses from John Madden all the way through to John Gruinay, you know,
- 12:13the spotlight kind of puts somewhere they at. But they'll get in the
- 12:16car with you. So we'll be back with a great show. During the
- 12:20break, bad producer, you can touch your equipment, got by the freak.
- 12:24It's a family show. You can't be doing that. All right,
- 12:28We'll be right back going to sports shock show right after this. How do
- 12:33they do where you fun sticking up her tongue? Where from you know it?

- 13:54foster care at fifteen years old. Her life was full of uncertainty. She
- 14:01thought she'd never have a permanent place to call home. Before I was adopted,
- 14:07I felt like I wasn't enough. I had this hole in my heart
- 14:11and I never knew what I needed to patch that hole. But when my
- 14:13mom asked to adopt me, that hole was closed. It feels so normal
- 14:18now to say that I'm a part of this family. I am surrounded by
- 14:22love, I feel safe, and that hole inside of me is gone.
- 14:26I am whole. I'm finally enough, just as I am. The Dave

- 15:35no, no no. Now it's time to present the Jock of the Day
- 15:39on the Sports Jockshure. He's taken it to a completely different level this year
- 15:43where we highlight an appoli that has taken their game to the next level.
- 16:04What about to this sport shock show. I'm the sportshop wing, can't you?
- 16:07Good morning to you? The Chargers and the Jets will play tonight on
- 16:12Monday Night Football. Earlier in the day, if you're free, around one
- 16:17o'clock, the Irish of Notre Dame will take on the game Cocks of South
- 16:22Carolina. Women's basketball is back in college. Don Staley and her Game Cocks
- 16:27trying to get back to their winning ways. I want to say they're rink
- 16:32number ten and Notre Dame might be like number seven or something like. This
- 16:37is the first game for women's basketball, so it should be a good game.
- 16:41This is part of why our men. Jim Harball a couple of years
- 16:45ago was having issue and he took his team abroad. He was basically campaigning
- 16:53that the football team generates so much income, but they never get any kind
- 16:59of international travel, right, And that's why he was trying to have those
- 17:02spring practices and other places. And I think forbou two years he was able
- 17:07to do that because when you look at Don Staley, you look at Notre
- 17:11Dame, they're ever to take these young ladies to Paris, which is a
- 17:15huge deal for a lot of people on the planet. It can't get on
- 17:19a plane and go to Paris for a week, you know, so great
- 17:25for them. And that's at one o'clock today if you're free. But Monday
- 17:29night Football Chargers Jets. Both teams need they win to stay alive. Caleb
- 17:37Williams of USC, Well, first of all, USC, hold on,
- 17:41hold on, hold on. If you're going to fire the USC defensive coordinator,
- 17:53you have to fire to Washington. Defensive coordinator too after a win,
- 18:00you gave up the same many points, but but we won, so yeah,
- 18:06but we did an real defense. Y'all gave up forty two points and
- 18:10my defense gave up forty two points, but we got enough stops. But
- 18:18it was one to zero. So we was USC fired and defensive coordinator,
- 18:22which if you watch college football, you really be feeling like half the people
- 18:26that call themselves decordinator should be fired because nobody plays any real top notch defense
- 18:33anymore. The games get out of hand quickly. But USC fired defense coordinator
- 18:41Alex Grinch with two games left, which is interesting as well for them to
- 18:47do that, so they were on a lot of pressure USC losing to Washington
- 18:52in the coliseum out there. Other than the coach being fired defensive coordinator,
- 18:57I guess we would have to say Caleb Williams, the Haismon Trophy winner last
- 19:02year, mister Celia Wendy's cheeseburger this year, crying to his parents. Interesting,
- 19:15interesting that that moment happened. You expect maybe that to be part of
- 19:22the fabric. If a player got injured, the parents might run down to
- 19:33the Breezeway area to support their kids. But to actually see him at the
- 19:40end of the game go jump in the stands and put his head on his
- 19:45mom's shoulder was one of the biggest signals that the athlete and I've been fighting.
- 19:56It is truly different and cut and formed and trained in a way that
- 20:10just does not go along with my sensibilities. We've seen players cry, We've
- 20:17seen in all sports. Typically it's going to the sideline putting the towel over
- 20:22your head. Never seen one jump up and do the Lambeau leap up on
- 20:30a wall and cry to their parent. Did any of you see this?
- 20:38Yes, I have not seen it, but you can bet during the break
- 20:45I'm goin to pull it up. And I feel so I feel so neglectful
- 20:51and that I would have had about a thirty minute roast ram for that sports
- 20:56jock. I would. I would have had them all kind of big snot
- 20:59bubble face old cry baby. I ain't got nothing right now that I could
- 21:03come together with and steal. While these two are commenting on it, I'll
- 21:11let you thank you. Go ahead on and look up Caleb Williams, bad
- 21:15producer. I know you are a man who really stands by the player.
- 21:21Your player's coach. If I was gonna label you someone you you you,
- 21:26you will extend every sensibility to a player olive branch, yes, to be
- 21:33there for them. And and you're what are you extending olive branches in this
- 21:37situation. I'm gonna have a talk with Caleb, dude. I mean,
- 21:41that's you can't do that. You know you're gonna have to go to the
- 21:45locker room. We have to do that at home with your parents. I
- 21:48mean, you cannot do that to me. I felt like, I mean,
- 21:52I understand. Did you see him like he was in the fetal position?
- 21:57Yeah, I mean that's what got me because yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 22:00yeah yeah yeah. And I'm gonna bring it up because grey Bot Jason
- 22:04Whitlock. I like Jason Whitlock. I'm I think he's a great journalist.
- 22:10Greg said it because RG three said Jason Whitlock was wrong for saying this,
- 22:15but he well, I'm sorry RG three made a statement about Jason Whitlock should
- 22:18have said something about it, but he wouldn't only want Barstool Sports. A
- 22:22lot of other people are talking about just saying the same thing that you're saying,
- 22:25sports job. It was just something that you had never seen after a
- 22:29loss. Maybe, like you said, an injury or at the loss of
- 22:34US championship game or something. You may see that, but never after a
- 22:38game. It's just like you just playing a regular season game. And you're
- 22:42a young man. It's already a heus one. You already accomplished. You
- 22:45have already approven yourself as a top notch athlete. It's gonna be drafted real
- 22:52high in the NFL. And you just put your nay sales on notice.
- 22:55We'll come back talk about it. Commands you, Greg, see what you
- 22:57had to say. I think command She wants to correct you about his stance
- 23:00on Jason Whitlock. Big Kenny is looking it up. But during the break,
- 23:04look up Caleb Williams to his parents. Don't he started with you at
- 23:11the Google. Just Caleb Williams trying to his parents. Caleb Williams and everything
- 23:14else will pop up. You don't want to see it. Don't do it
- 23:17to yourself. Men, don't wait. A pocket full of show. Wait,
- 23:30wait, a pucket full of show. Wit a pucket full of show.

- 24:51Life insurance three quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece of
- 24:56financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have life life insurance. When
- 25:00I was twenty five, me and my wife were just getting started with our
- 25:03family and thought, we live forever life insurance. What's the last thing on
- 25:06my mind? What about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 25:10When I was forty, with a kid in college and bills piling up,
- 25:12I was worried how my family will survive without me. That's what I'm in
- 25:15an appointment with the insurance informant. Information gives you power, and life insurance
- 25:18gives your family security no matter what stage of life you're in. Now that
- 25:22I'm older, I don't worry about whether I leave my family with bills or
- 25:26benefits. The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty, whether
- 25:30you earn a little or a lot, All you need is the insurance informant
- 25:33to help you build a foundation of security, because without you, your family
- 25:37will have two options, benefits or bills? Which legacy will you leave behind?
- 25:42Log on today benefits or bills dot com? That's benefits or bills dot

- 25:53off, shut it down, dream on, no dice, give it arrest,

- 26:07As a passenger, you have the power to prevent an accident. There
- 26:11are a thousand ways to stop a distracted driver. Choose one. A message
- 26:17from c T I A and now back to the sports John Wayne Candy in
- 26:29the Radzo Vacuum Sun because I gotta have what this boy shop show this boy
- 26:55shock, Wayne Candy. I want to go home and cuddle with my dog
- 27:00and watch some shows. That was the comment by the Heisman Trophy winner Caleb
- 27:08Williams from usc after the game. He wants to go home, cuddled with
- 27:14his dog and watch some shows. I just want to make sure so I
- 27:19don't get any kind of backlash. I'm not talking about Caleb Williams crying.
- 27:26As I have said that you can go through the history of sports. The
- 27:30sports shock himself has set on a bench and dropped a tier two when my
- 27:37past my ticket got cut up by the Patriots to go to the Super Bowl.
- 27:45So it's not that it's the part of Caleb Williams as I described it,
- 27:52Big Kenny COMANCHI, Greg bad producer hitting the stands with the Lambeau leap,
- 28:00getting in the fetal position in his mother's arm, with his dad rubbing
- 28:06his back. It is a moment in time that I'm sure, could you
- 28:15know in a different comedic, because you can't get on stage and make fun
- 28:18of stuff like, yes you can, I will know, they'll protest.
- 28:25Watch the board light up, Watch the board when it's my turn, watch
- 28:29the board light up. And all this was doing that. Caleb Williams got
- 28:33lost the game, not lost it as far as his performance, but USC
- 28:38lost to Washington in a pivotal game on Saturday Day. And if you get
- 28:45a chance, you'll see what I'm saying. Guys. The bad producer,
- 28:48who is a man of the player, seems like he disagrees with Caleb being
- 28:55able to do this, which is surprising because he usually finds the way that
- 28:57the player is always right. Command you, Greg, when you saw Caleb
- 29:03in the fetal between his two parents, one rubbing his back, the other
- 29:07one rubbing his brow and covering his face, what did you think? I
- 29:15guess with this particular game, I wasn't sure what the ramifications were, but
- 29:21there was a lot into it. But I think I looked at it as
- 29:26his team put up forty two points and it wasn't enough, and so it's
- 29:30like, what does so much of the burden was on him, like to
- 29:37carry the team and for him to do all this and for it to not
- 29:41be enough. I think that's what broke him down. It's hard to see
- 29:45that in public if it was in the locker room, like he still,
- 29:48you know, has to be a leader for his team. So it's it's
- 29:53a little it was more just awkward for me to see it than anything else,
- 29:57Big Kenny. First, let me say this. I think what we
- 30:03saw was the result of you, the fan wanted our gladiators, our football
- 30:11gladiators, to be more like us. Now you got it. This is
- 30:17what you've been asking for. It used to be a time football players were
- 30:19separated, they were treated different, they were raised. This is Sparta.
- 30:23You couldn't come out here as as this, and now you got it.
- 30:29The second thing, I'm disappointed that his daddy didn't push him out the stands.
- 30:33What are you doing if you don't get your I'd have pushed him out
- 30:37of the stands and I'd have gotten my wife face and said, don't you
- 30:41I swear to God, don't y'all start that out here? And then this
- 30:45is the other part that really got me upset. He jumped in the fetal
- 30:48position. They did to cuddling. Just the same dude painted his fingernails first
- 30:52before he bought him out in an advertising campaign with Dr Pepper. I bet
- 30:57this is gonna come with some sort of endorsement, some sort of uh watch
- 31:03it be tied to the nil later and if it is, even if it
- 31:07ain't. He couldn't leave me nowhere. I ain't following Kayle Williams across the
- 31:11street. You can't. You can't ask me to come here and let me
- 31:15tell you something. No, because you weak, you weak, b And
- 31:19that was soft. That was super soft, and you made all of us
- 31:22look suspect. And he's not the only one that had put some time and
- 31:26energy all week into this game. I mean you got you got another eighty
- 31:30something people on that roster. He yeah, I know you are the high
- 31:34profile, you are the demand. That's right now that everybody so son A
- 31:38dude dropped dead on the field with Buffalo. Ain't nobody run to the stands
- 31:44and cry? Nobody they were watching a man die in front of them,
- 31:48and nobody reacted like that this is a win. Some lose some life,
- 31:55let alone a win. Some lose some game. You playing it, U
- 32:00s c top notch everything you're gonna come up against. And since his dad
- 32:07didn't push him out the stands, the fans next to him should have pushed
- 32:09the whole family onto the It is truly a moment of T shirt worthy moment.
- 32:20If I'm the if I'm the opponent, I definitely would print ounce some
- 32:23T shirts for the next opponent. Who they have U c l A or
- 32:27somebody for U C l A. No, it's only like three weeks left.
- 32:31Three weeks okay, I thought they used to play who they usually play.
- 32:35I don't know. I'm just saying we're on our last week. Put
- 32:37a T shirt on every chair, That's what I'm saying. Who organ the
- 32:43money to do? They got the money to make the T shirt, Just
- 32:46do it. Try try just crying and then people want to ban them out
- 32:53of the stadium for that right. I wouldn't have one cry, you know,
- 32:58I'm saying. The PC people will tell him the wrong and you're not
- 33:01able to exploit and show him mother and that kind of stuff. His father.
- 33:07I would hope his father, his dad rubbing his back. His dad
- 33:10rubbed his back because if he had done anything else, he would have been
- 33:14a brute. How dare you they would have had child protected services in there.
- 33:17Yeah, I would have pushed him out of the stand. I'm gonna
- 33:21why are you even way over here? What you're doing over here? Thought
- 33:23the game was out there was out there. You always running to your mama.
- 33:29I got a bright idea. That's hard to believe that. Let's just
- 33:34stop right right the NFL season yesterday here in Atlanta, the Falcons having a
- 33:42tough day trying to stop an Atlanta product. That's the that's the thing that
- 33:47you got to figure out. Uh. Atlanta ended up with two quarterbacks right
- 33:52here, one from Apparetta, one from Collins Hill. When the game was
- 33:58finally decided, Josh Would Dobbs and Tyler Hennikey dueling it out thirty one twenty
- 34:04eight the Vikings at the end, the Falcons just could not bring down Dobbs.
- 34:08It was just more of his ability to scramble that threw them off.
- 34:14They couldn't had a couple of times there to tackle him. He got out
- 34:19of it and just got to town as a lot of people, but don't
- 34:23shape him up to be a backup like the typical backup. Josh Dobbs had
- 34:28been in Arizona doing this to teams. A couple of touchdowns that the Arizona
- 34:31Cardinals scored in those four or five games. This was him doing that when
- 34:37you watch the highlights. So he was in a groove. He just got
- 34:39traded, that's all. Yeah, we got to see him the way.
- 34:45The way he was succeeding yesterday is the way he's been playing this whole season
- 34:51in Arizona for Kyle of Murray. So yes, he didn't know the game
- 34:54plan, but he did know how to get out of trouble. That part
- 35:00of because he's been in Arizona where the line wasn't blocking back then either.
- 35:02So yeah, they he didn't know anybody's names. He had taking a practice.
- 35:08Now he didn't bring a week That's what I'm saying. But I know
- 35:10how to get out of his sack. I don't need to know anybody name
- 35:14to get out of his sack right here. But Dupree missed a big sack
- 35:19on the end, and Joshua Dobbs made him pay a couple of times with
- 35:22his ability to scramble and came back and won this game thirty one to twenty
- 35:27eight for the Vikings. When Josh Dobbs was in Arizona, was Kyler Murray
- 35:31hurt and he just not coming in? I don't think he Kyler Murray's hurt.
- 35:35Okay, Now, Deshaun Watson is not playing, but because he missed
- 35:39as that. But I don't think that he is. We don't think so.
- 35:43But Deshaun Watson, we know ain't nothing wrong with him. But he
- 35:45know his body and he ain't playing. If two seasons, three seasons ago
- 35:49when they get these dudes would have been jumping in the stands, That's what
- 35:52this breed. That's what this breeds. I'm stuck on that. That's what
- 35:58this breeds. Deshaun Watson who showed up yesterday in the game, he did
- 36:02play yesterday Cleveland and that defense is humming. Cleveland beat Arizona. You know
- 36:07how much you want to take from that, twenty seven to zero. Cleveland
- 36:12has a great defense. Instantly you see Deshaun Watson kissing his girlfriend on the
- 36:20sideline and walking hand in hand into the locker room after I don't know how
- 36:25how old are these people even on the field. This is why Josh McDaniel's
- 36:30got bye, she don't block. I'm telling you, Josh McDaniels, it's
- 36:35from that old corduroy. Some of you go look in your grandparents or your
- 36:40parents closet. Find that corduroy, not the new stuff that we wear,
- 36:45that soft, that hard corduroy that used to be like yeah, when you
- 36:52walk that you hear that's just the sound it made. So that's where his
- 36:58since his is there in how to deal with players, even though he's not
- 37:04his oldest bettles check. That's his tutelage these new guys. Where before you
- 37:10even take off your uniform and get a shower, you're walking into the locker
- 37:15room through the tunnel with your significant other or your son and daughter have already
- 37:22made it down to the court before TNT interview you about the forty points you
- 37:30just scored. I don't know, and you hold your kid already. Where
- 37:34is this Where does it's get infused? That's where your mind goes to the
- 37:43sports world wanted to see themselves in the athlete, and that's how we got
- 37:50here. Athletes ain't supposed to be us, just like soldiers ain't supposed to
- 37:53be you. That's why they try and keep the battle over there, because
- 37:58you ain't ready to see war up close. That's the point supposed to be
- 38:04process. We play the game, the game ends, after our shower and
- 38:07everything. I'll meet you in the family area. Why don't y'all stay at
- 38:13homes? That's how she got beef in the family. I was just saying,
- 38:15maybe we can't sit in the area up there and so stay home,
- 38:20or why aren't around a family that don't like her? Go? Do that?
- 38:25You let my grandson cry in the stands. I hate you. Joh

- 41:20A message from NITZA and the AD Council. And now back to the Sports
- 41:25John Wayne Candy. Between logos, are you can see a sports jaint?
- 41:52I'll shit even Jenny went back to the Sports Shock show. I'm in the
- 41:57Sports Shock Wayne Candy, and Week nine happened yesterday. As we talked about
- 42:01the Falcons losing to the Vikings and a very good game. A lot of
- 42:07excitement in that game, Cleveland beating the Cardinals twenty seven to z row.
- 42:14The Cardinals went with Clayton tune. You know Clayton he You know Clayton Tune
- 42:21from the university. Yeah, the rookie Clayton Tune. He was drafted number.
- 42:27I remember he came after the dude in front of him. Yeah,
- 42:30right, he got drafted where he played at That's where he went. Clinton
- 42:35twenty seven to zero to Cleveland defense shut him out. Deshaun Watson did play
- 42:38yesterday. He threw two touchdowns, so I guess he's back and well and
- 42:44ready to go. The Baltimore Ravens hosted the Seattle Seahawks and put that hammer
- 42:50on them. As you always know the thing with the Ravens that always get
- 42:53under overshadowed when you have such a marketable quarterback like Lamar, his defense and
- 43:00the Ravens are winning because of their defense. They're back to that nasty Raven
- 43:07black shadow thirty seven to three. Uh. There was nowhere for Geno Smith
- 43:10to hide yesterday. I got sacked five times in that game. Uh.
- 43:15And as you can see only three points on the board. So the Ravens
- 43:21back to their winning ways, starting with defense, and Lamar Jackson went back.
- 43:28As I said, it could have been just a contract thing where he
- 43:30had fear, but the last two years after he won that MVP, he
- 43:36kind of stopped running. He seemed like he was running because he had to,
- 43:45right and not because he wanted to. Now he's back to doing the
- 43:47dual threat thing where he'd get you eighty ninety yards running and another one throwing.
- 43:53So the Ravens thirty seven to three, looking good in that MVP race
- 43:59again. Yeah, we were moving past your typical things with we want some
- 44:02new material from you instead always getting up on the same people. We've been
- 44:07to six shows with you, and each time you hit the stage, just
- 44:10the same we do with you now. Twenty one the fourteen Kansas City Chiefs
- 44:22beating the Dolphins yesterday over in Germany. As I said, can't said enough.
- 44:27After watching that, I realized I know the NFL. We did a
- 44:30story about two three weeks ago, NFL considering super Bowls outside the States.
- 44:36No, no, if you wanted something different, moving to one of the
- 44:39Dakotas. Nobody's been there whoa baseball been to a Dakota. I've been through.
- 44:50I've been through no purpose, nobody would have been to two of the
- 44:54states, Dakota South twenty one to fourt the Chiefs doing enough in this game.
- 45:02The Dolphins, the offense are hit and miss Tua. If anything,
- 45:07I would say with Tua, and I know he has the concussion thing toa
- 45:13is a good enough athlete to make a couple of plays running he's seeing he
- 45:17pauses like he has no ability. You're not Damn Marino. Yeah you can
- 45:23move, but he sits in the pocket like he is a thirty seven year
- 45:28old Jim Kelly or something new a little bit, beat him with your feet,
- 45:32take those five and six yard runs and make something more. I just
- 45:38think he has a threaten more that he can move and run and pick up
- 45:43the ball. Now. I don't know if it's just he protecting himself,
- 45:45and I can't argue with him with that. He has had a tough he's
- 45:49a smaller quarterback and he's had a lot of concussions. I wanted to ask,
- 45:53we do you think that you were just saying how when a guy from
- 46:00Baltimore, Lamar Jackson, stopped running. Sometimes he would break out running kind
- 46:07of like I can do this and hold on, I ain't supposed to be
- 46:09doing this, and then he would stop it. Do you think Tua is
- 46:14just taking coaches advice or is he himself a little gunshot, because some of
- 46:21that seems like, look to it, we can't have you running the ball
- 46:23like that, and so he's just trying to be a company man. I
- 46:28don't know if it's a company man as much as it could just be.
- 46:30He has been injured, right and even back to Alabama, the couple of
- 46:34injuries he sustained where he was trying to make a little something happen running,
- 46:38but he seems very He's none threatening to the defense. In situations where they're
- 46:45almost giving him eight ten yards to run, he just won't run it.
- 46:50He just stays in there. And it's one thing if he was slower foot,
- 46:53we know why Peyton Manning didn't run, But Tua is a better athlete
- 47:00than that. I just know he needs to threaten in certain situations running the
- 47:06ball a little bit, pick up a couple of yards and when they get
- 47:07a chain back. I think people sometimes forget how that offense was humming with
- 47:13Devon a Chain who's been out the last four games. I want to say,
- 47:17and that's when their point production has gone down. But twice again,
- 47:23excuse me, it's the second time that the Dolphins when it was a big
- 47:29game didn't show up. We saw him against Buffalo. They didn't show up.
- 47:34They didn't show up against it. They become the cowboys. We haven't
- 47:38gotten around thing about. I'm sorry man early and he was sitting right there.
- 47:47And now they're gonna have to do. You have to really think that
- 47:51the Dolphins are really contenders? Are they really that team in the AFC as
- 47:54everyone has put them out there, that's the that's the question. Now until
- 47:59they get a chain back, like you said, right now, they look
- 48:02like they're they're not showing up. They're not right. They lost twenty one
- 48:07to fourteen. It didn't get blown out, so I didn't see it.
- 48:09And again the super Bowl two time super Bowl champion two or three they got
- 48:15two or three super Bowl two. Okay, yeah, yeah, they didn't
- 48:16show me that they're not what they are. It's just I'm just saying that's
- 48:21a part of them that offensively, but the defense they gotten a little healthier
- 48:25with Xavier Howard back and Ramsey back at those corner positions. So there's a
- 48:30lot of season left to go. We're only nine weeks in to this season.
- 48:35We talked about the h and everybody seems to be smoking cigars in the
- 48:39locker room. As the bad producer, I thought it was marijuana, and
- 48:44I'm like, no, that that doesn't work. As much as you wanted
- 48:47to work, I know, you go right to that and think they just
- 48:51rolled up and its blazing in the locker room. It made me smile.
- 48:55It made me smile to think that they had that kind of freedom. I
- 49:00knew it was just him. They were saying they were smoking to McDaniel's pack,
- 49:02but the pack was one hundred bucks. I mean, the gentleman went
- 49:07to Max Crossman bought some cigars. So well, that right there tells me
- 49:14the mindset of the team. You're wheeling nine and you celebrated a victory that
- 49:20really was nothing. You beat a you beat a team like the Giants at
- 49:25home, and you thought that was worthy of a cigar. He loves this
- 49:35formal. Do you feel what I'm saying? Obviously they did. Yeah,
- 49:39y'are your coach at GM got fired, y'all cigars of being the giants who
- 49:45was like missing twelve starters. We'll be back right after this. I slipped
- 49:51and fell to the web concrete. They fed me in that straight but I'm

- 52:52A. T. S Up in New York game pivotal for both of them
- 52:59to keep any kind of playoff hopes going. One note, we were talking
- 53:02about the Raiders. There is a report out that says that Mark Davis and
- 53:07the Raiders somewhere close around eighty million dollars. They still old Josh McDaniels and
- 53:15Dave Ziggler, So as y'all smoke cigars, might want to send them one
- 53:21because they are winning. They smokey Josh, what's going on? Man?
- 53:30It's mister Davis. Hey man, you remember when we was tripping way back,
- 53:37queen when we said you was fired a long time, like bringing up
- 53:45old stuff, Josh, But man, why don't you come home back there?
- 53:50Still playing? John Ruden also correct. I don't know where that case
- 53:54stands. I know at some point John was suing or the Raiders to maybe
- 54:00get his money. But I know in this case Josh McDaniels and Dave,
- 54:06I know Josh had about four years left on his deal where they had because
- 54:10it was like a six year deal. So the Raiders smoking cigars after beating
- 54:15the Giants, Josh Is still owed some money. And it's a tough thing.
- 54:20That's what I'm saying. If you're Mark Davis, which kind of coach
- 54:22do you go? Do you stay with the Antonio Pierce who seems to be
- 54:24a player coach, but then you could find yourself back in the headlines for
- 54:30the off the field stuff. But do you bring in a disciplinarian more in
- 54:35that, you know? And that's where that whole I think when people say
- 54:38the Bill Belichick coach, right, it seems like all of his disciples,
- 54:43no matter where they go, they go with that kind of old fashioned,
- 54:47old school All you should want to do is football mentality, and that doesn't
- 54:54work everywhere now. Typically it helps you to be able to do that,
- 55:00and you're in that kind of city. It's hard to create that when the
- 55:06city doesn't help you frame up. You know, there is a difference between
- 55:12a LA and a Green Bay. You know, it's hard to I can
- 55:15get you home by ten o'clock. In Green Bay, it's hard to get
- 55:20you to know I'm saying, if you get you home by ten, LA,
- 55:25you're telling me you're not even doing anything bad. You might just be
- 55:30at the Clippers game and it kept you out to eleven thirty. That kind
- 55:36That's what I mean. I'm saying, there's you forget that there are smaller
- 55:38towns like the Green Bays and stuff that exists where people those things are not
- 55:45just going on. But you might have just went to the movie premiere somewhere.
- 55:51Doesn't mean you have to be doing something devious. It's a city that
- 55:55you know, here in Atlanta, one of the you know, it's a
- 55:58city that is always a Atlanta is up to two am, regardless of what
- 56:05day. It doesn't have to be a seasonal thing. It just can be.
- 56:08I got out of some concert at eleven thirty. Traffic took me to
- 56:14one o'clock to get home. Yeah, I was hungery on the way.
- 56:19I stopped at the waffle house. Now it's two thirty, so I got
- 56:22sleep work at the waffa house. I got to be to work at six
- 56:27thirty in the morning, so now I'm I'm working all four hours. I
- 56:30didn't do any thing criminal or you know. I was just having a regular
- 56:37night and I ended up being up that late. But the Raiders, I
- 56:39have a lot going on. We will see in their next game. I
- 56:43don't know who their opponent is, but beat somebody other than the Giants,
- 56:46who with Daniel Jones, their quarterback looks like he might have torn his ACL.
- 56:52So that's a tough blow for him personally. Between concussions and its ACL.
- 56:57It's been a tough year for that young man. For the Giant Giants
- 57:01completely with injuries, they just so they get a guy back to others lead,
- 57:06it seems like on their team. Uh. The Raiders next game is
- 57:10next Sunday Night against the Jets. I guess the story that oh sorry,
- 57:17thank you, and it was I saw the story that it wasn't flexed out
- 57:24because of the matchup. So it is the mark. It is the prime
- 57:29time matchup. Well, they need to flex this Thursday night game. It's
- 57:34like the Panthers versus the Bears on Thursday Night. They're gonna end up being
- 57:39like the World Series. They couldn't apologize. You know, everyone has to
- 57:45play a Thursday game though, right, No, no, no, no,
- 57:49no, everybody doesn't have to play Thursday. I don't think with the
- 57:52pants I think that they made that rule. Yeah, everyone has to play
- 57:55at least one Thursday game. Well with the Panthers is you ought to just
- 58:00everybody? You just decide who you think they want to get that over.
- 58:04They won't get that mess over before Sunday. They want to get it out
- 58:07of the way. You ain't got to broadcast it. Look, you just
- 58:08decide who you think won. And that's what we say. Game. People's
- 58:13gonna have people canceling their crime for subscription. The you don't need to pay
- 58:16for that kind of the coverage. And y'all already buffering too much, even
- 58:22on the good games. I'm not about to put up with it for this.
- 58:25Carolina yesterday losing to Houston the Battle of the first picks uh c J.
- 58:34Stroud and our man. Uh not Carolina losing to the Coats yesterday yesterday
- 58:44where they what's his name? Bryce? In that game, Carolina just got
- 58:52a lot of like the first picks always go through, there's nothing. Bryce
- 58:58Young being the first pick isn't going through that all first picks. You go
- 59:02to a first your team is in disarray. Most likely you don't have nothing.
- 59:10You got a couple of parts and they were your first round picks from
- 59:15the last couple of years and you and we got to do a lot of
- 59:17rebuilding. So he's in the same spot that a lot of I think Troy
- 59:22Aikman and them guys, Peyton Manning, they were all two and fourteen,
- 59:25and you forget that, though you would like to, A lot of us
- 59:31have forgotten that Peyton was that bad as a rookie. Yeah, as a
- 59:36team because you know, because I gotta go get Marvin Harrison. I got
- 59:39to go get Edgrin James and bring these pieces in. But for right now,
- 59:44it's just you and Clayton too, who it's just me and him and
- 59:52I don't even know it. We'll be back well the Sports Jock Show right

- 1:02:00with Shock Wayne getting good morning to you. I hope you had a great
- 1:02:04weekend. Beautiful weather has broken out here in Atlanta over the last couple of
- 1:02:08days went back to some springtime weather. We have fallen back for you people
- 1:02:15that are grumpy about that and daylight saving time, just give it to Friday
- 1:02:21and then you will forget all of it. You'll be right back to the
- 1:02:23cycle. You know. We were like, i' must spend the next four
- 1:02:27months in three or four days. It'll fade and you won't remember that daylight
- 1:02:31saving time really happened until the next time and we spring forward and falling back
- 1:02:37is supposed to be the good time, like spring. Yeah, what are
- 1:02:42people mad about? An extra hour in their day? What is that?
- 1:02:45And then you fall back. You get to keep your business open an extra
- 1:02:50hour. If you had a place, like you said, most of more
- 1:02:52stuff goes at two o'clock, you got an extra hour. So you know,
- 1:02:55humans, whenever you put humans in anything, they're gonna come Flatlane speaking
- 1:03:00of complaining or I guess excusing or maybe just realizing pick one of those three.
- 1:03:07Colorado head coach Dion Sanders now is preaching the process. Now there's a
- 1:03:14process. It went from we are collecting receipts and Braggadocia's talk to now after
- 1:03:22the loss against Oregon State on Saturday. His message now is the process,
- 1:03:30that there's a process to this. And guys, Colorado four and five,
- 1:03:38and as I've said on several shows here leading up to this, I am
- 1:03:43really pulling for Colorado to make two more wins so they can make a Bowl.
- 1:03:50I believe that the excitement that the team has brought the revenue, the
- 1:03:54kids at least deserve a Bowl game, and to do that, they need
- 1:04:00eat six wins. They're sitting there, They're four and five. They have
- 1:04:03three games left. They're playing Arizona this coming week, they have Utah.
- 1:04:11I think at the end of the year, I think their last two games.
- 1:04:15I think this game is in Colorado and the next two games will be
- 1:04:17the last two games are going to be on the road. They're gonna need
- 1:04:21to win two of these last three to get Bowl eligible, and it's getting
- 1:04:29tough. Arizona has had a couple of good wins on their schedule, so
- 1:04:32this is not where you get oh, I can check that box. It's
- 1:04:38going to be two of these games are against even competition. You look at
- 1:04:42the Utah game and feel like Utah has a better team. Yes, but
- 1:04:47the last two games are on the road, and it would be when it
- 1:04:51would be a letdown for college football if they don't make the bowl season,
- 1:04:58when if they end up like just like five and seven from where they started,
- 1:05:01it would be a big leg down. I think it would be a
- 1:05:05almost like having to decompress from all of the height that was blown into the
- 1:05:11situation. I think that it's somewhat dubious that coach Prime in his last he's
- 1:05:19got how many three games left? So for him to say now that it's
- 1:05:24a process. You're a football player, Coach Prime, you played at the
- 1:05:29highest levee, part of the best ever done it. You've been coaching for
- 1:05:31a while. What made you think it wasn't a process? What made you
- 1:05:35think that you were going? Why did you hype it to the point where
- 1:05:40now you have to sit down and have a slice of humble pie. I
- 1:05:44mean, because that's not his style to sit and talk, oh it's process.
- 1:05:47He would real he would rather be collecting receipts. But now you have
- 1:05:54to admit that, Yeah, I was just kind of capping. I know,
- 1:05:59with some there are so many bowl games and so many schools to cline
- 1:06:02them, even if they have the six wins to where some bows will take
- 1:06:06a team that has five wins, there were five and six or five and
- 1:06:10seven. Do you think that if they were five and seven and they still
- 1:06:15got invited to a bowl game, that they would take it. Yes.
- 1:06:17Coach Prime is gonna he's gonna use any marketing. Yeah, he'll spend it
- 1:06:23to be this is the new season, it's twenty twenty four, or you
- 1:06:28know, whenever the bowl is, he will try to spin it on that
- 1:06:31axis, I think. But I think going to a bowl less than five
- 1:06:39hundred speaks. It's more of that because you want to get there on the
- 1:06:45merit of how you should be there, right, you going at five and
- 1:06:49seven. It comes off like somebody's doing you a favor, right. They
- 1:06:54always say bowl eligible is six wins, because I'm pulling for my Auburn Tigers
- 1:06:59who won this past weekend. I mean they should have against Vandy, but
- 1:07:01they're five and four. They need one more win to really become what they
- 1:07:05call both elig because remember, for me, I don't even think you should
- 1:07:10be in a bowl at six and six. Hello, I really don't.
- 1:07:15I don't. I think the prestigiousness of a bowl you should be better than
- 1:07:19five hundred. So if that's seven and five that I don't think six and
- 1:07:25six you didn't do anything. Six and six actually says average, isn't it
- 1:07:30pretty much? And I wanted to ask you about that day. No,
- 1:07:33no, no, no, no no, because but that's what I'm saying.
- 1:07:35In my time, there was half the bowls, so your record had
- 1:07:41to be better. You couldn't get in a bowl at six and six.
- 1:07:45I went to in my college time. I went to the Hall of Fame
- 1:07:47Bowl down in Tampa, and I went to the Peach Bowl here in Atlanta
- 1:07:51when it was at the old stadium, Fulton County Stadium, the last year
- 1:07:57it was there. That was and you had to have a better record because
- 1:08:01it was only like maybe twenty bowls then now there's like forty two bowls or
- 1:08:05something like that. So just going in at six and six, but to
- 1:08:09go in at five and seven, it would be like somebody did Dionne in
- 1:08:13that team of favor. That's why I want them, That's why I want
- 1:08:15them to win six games. I want them. I think they've done too
- 1:08:19much and it's four as bringing excitement and people to watch. To not get
- 1:08:29in that way, it's just gonna be tough. Because they could easily lose
- 1:08:33these last three. They could win them, or they could lose. They
- 1:08:36could be seven and four, or they could be four I mean not seven
- 1:08:41and four. They could be four and eight or no, no, excuse
- 1:08:46me, twelve and seven and five, six and six now, or they
- 1:08:53could not win another one, so they would be four and eight. Yeah,
- 1:08:57and now Sports Shock. We have spoken on prior shows about how the
- 1:09:02media surrounding Colorado and what they're doing has almost become apologetic, like making allowances
- 1:09:12for teams where there were no allowances before. Wouldn't this just further erode the
- 1:09:17process if they let someone who truly didn't earn it in because we know we'll
- 1:09:23get the ratings. We complained about how many bulls were playing already, like
- 1:09:28it used to be just three or four and you had to be good enough
- 1:09:30to get those three or four, and now because of this and that and
- 1:09:34money and everybody's expanding it, I don't I would love to think that coach
- 1:09:41Prime would not want it that way, that he would feel like that was
- 1:09:47an insult to him and the hard work that his program is put in.
- 1:09:51And maybe that's the lesson we need to learn. Bad producer. Hey,
- 1:09:57I'm gonna go hard, hopefully understand the process, the team getting ready to
- 1:10:01prepare to just hopefully. I like to see him in a bowl game.
- 1:10:04Also, I think that they got a chance to win at least two out
- 1:10:10of the last three. Just hopefully the players stay healthy and you know,
- 1:10:15and it's been a learning thing for everybody. That's not good reporting. What
- 1:10:18you're doing right here for the last forty five seconds is not real good reporting.
- 1:10:26I'm pulling for Prime. I'm telling you, I'm pulling for him and
- 1:10:29his program. I want to see them winky. I just hate the I
- 1:10:32mean, I just everybody wants to say the bubble is out. Everybody.
- 1:10:38I mean, when he's going win, everybody was all on it. That's
- 1:10:43fine. I mean he was on it too. Then oh he's still on
- 1:10:45it. Well no, because now it's down to the process. He's still
- 1:10:48on it. I mean, he's just hold on, play it, play
- 1:10:54caten to the I mean, I mean he's one in five in the last
- 1:10:59six games. There's something like that. What is he wonning four? He
- 1:11:03was three and oh right, and he's what are they now there? Four
- 1:11:06and five? So I just lost five out of six. So what what
- 1:11:11what part of that is playcating We're gonna be like we gonna get together turning
- 1:11:16around here in this last quarter of the season, let's go. I mean,
- 1:11:19it's a process. So what happens they lose last three games, get
- 1:11:25ready for get on the road, start bringing in those linemans that he need,
- 1:11:29that that right there in the trenches, because that's all he needs right
- 1:11:31now. And how is he gonna get those linemen? What makes you think
- 1:11:33that those linemen want to go to Colorado? The n I al deals that
- 1:11:41we're gonna put before you the opportunity I can go to I can go to
- 1:11:45Oregon for that. That's fine. But I mean we're gonna we're gonna be
- 1:11:47on prime time. We're gonna be prime time. We're gonna be everybody want
- 1:11:51to see all Georgia lineman go to lead Prime What you're selling me? All
- 1:11:57U g a lineman to the league. We just saw the draft four of
- 1:12:00the five line. Even when people was going, don't draft that boy,
- 1:12:03he ain't nothing but trouble. He went like number one that way because he
- 1:12:08made it sound like it's just so I shout out there. I mean,
- 1:12:14my hey, Georgia we know you put them in the bad producer, bad
- 1:12:17producer. Let me let me ask you this, what is wrong with just
- 1:12:21admitting that that football program ain't that good? Right now? We understand it's
- 1:12:29a process. We know that is not what you were saying four weeks ago,
- 1:12:31though, And that's all so we can't understand and recognize and say,
- 1:12:36hey, we understand right here where we are, so we just make I'm
- 1:12:40saying, you get in the ring with Mike Tyson and you know before you
- 1:12:44get to the arena that this is going to be that check gonna look good,
- 1:12:48and that's broken eye socket to look nice too. We'll be back.

- 1:19:43ball or catching a ball, or doing something athletically. That just was a
- 1:19:48dream sports hitting the game winning shot. You've done that in your as a
- 1:19:53kid, and then I stopped growing, so it became a dream, not
- 1:19:57a sports hot. You are an athlete all the way to the professional level.
- 1:20:01If you had, say billion dollars, would you be dealing with broken
- 1:20:08or torn a cl no training for fights. No, you get that,
- 1:20:12but but I'm already but I've already done the athletic thing. What I'm telling
- 1:20:15you is that every human right has an athletic component, right, and it
- 1:20:21can rear its head if you never get to exhausted or touch on it.
- 1:20:29And everybody has that moment of they want to go kickbox and they want to
- 1:20:32you know, that's how you make so Richard Simmons, people want to get
- 1:20:39in and do different pickleball. It's something that everybody wants to touch that part
- 1:20:44of themselves, you know, because we're all mammals. So just like that
- 1:20:49that cougar wants to run, that's part of us that's in there. So
- 1:20:54Mark Zuckenberg, don't get hurt though the money came before he was preparing for
- 1:20:59em and fight like actually tussling with somebody here? Was it a non contact
- 1:21:03injury? They didn't. I didn't. I didn't get that part. We
- 1:21:06have to look that up and that acl takes how long the hell? Six
- 1:21:11months? Mark? You better sit down. Turn on Red. Kenny brought
- 1:21:15that a lot of cities are about to ban for cars, right, turn
- 1:21:20on Red him and the bad producer had a good comment conversation about it before
- 1:21:26the show. Right on Red. They're trying to put it in in some
- 1:21:30states because of the uptick and pedestrian and bicycle accidents. I would say,
- 1:21:35let's ban phone because half the people that I see walking in the walk way
- 1:21:41is texting or they are on earphones and acting like the traffic is not moving.
- 1:21:46Bring back jaywalking. Most of them jaywalk. The sign is clearly with
- 1:21:51the hand telling you not to move, and they're walking. How did it
- 1:21:57fall on us as drive? Really, thank you? When I'm sitting here
- 1:22:00watching you ignore that the hand says stop, or you're sitting there, you
- 1:22:03got your earphones on, you're not listening to anybody, or you're on the
- 1:22:08phone, or you're texting. But everything fell onto the driver that now I
- 1:22:13can't make a right on Red because you're not doing your due diligence. As
- 1:22:17someone who's biking and the bike people, all of you want to hit them,
- 1:22:23you know how they just act like that bike is a real car.
- 1:22:26You had that moment, don't try to make it. If I had the
- 1:22:30moment, I know that at least two other people had the moment of the
- 1:22:35bike guy acting like he is in a semi bro You see me, move
- 1:22:44on over. I don't care that you got on the spandex and the whole
- 1:22:46look and you're still going at that little same pace. You're in no way,
- 1:22:50You're not a car. You have a lane, you have a whole
- 1:22:55lane over here, but you won't get on it because you know, I'm
- 1:22:58powerless in this situation. There is either jail and take all my money,
- 1:23:02and I can't do either one of them. So I got a city here
- 1:23:05and just ride behind you. But I don't know how it fell on us.
- 1:23:09You're holding me traffic hostage right now, And that's what That's what it
- 1:23:14is a lot of times with the walkers, it's the same thing. You
- 1:23:16see me coming, you see the sign says don't walk, but you just
- 1:23:20come out in the walkway anyway and give me what you give me the what
- 1:23:27you're gonna do. Look not knowing, and it's like, you know what
- 1:23:30I'm saying, a lot of people don't know who they dealing with sports,
- 1:23:33Like a lot of it be case by case with your boy yourself today,
- 1:23:39today, this day to day, one moment, they don't know. And
- 1:23:44that's what I'm saying that you don't know what I'm struggling with some of the
- 1:23:46time, and it'd be like, Uh, don't do it. This is
- 1:23:49the day. This might be your day, sir. We'll be back more

- 1:26:23don't I feel that way? It was hard to admit that, even to
- 1:26:26my doctor, but I'm glad I did. She told me it was postpartum

- 1:27:32Candy. Good morning to you out there and listening. Land. Glad to
- 1:27:35be here, Big Kenny, command you, Greg Pat producer in the bill
- 1:27:40taing U n b A. I have no clue what the play in tournament
- 1:27:44is. None, got some nice none. None. I don't know what
- 1:27:48the gimmick is. I think you're pranking me. Uh. You just have
- 1:27:54decided to turn regular season games, make teams, buy some colorful courts,
- 1:28:00put them together, and deem a certain game a playing game. It's a
- 1:28:05regular game. And you're just saying it's a playing game and y'all gonna give
- 1:28:10out a ring in Vegas and a trophy for the I don't know what you're
- 1:28:14doing. It's unnecessary, it's not going I don't I'm lost. I know
- 1:28:19you did this for the w n b A to kind of create some buzz
- 1:28:23I get it. I don't get it. Just like I'm saying with the
- 1:28:26Super Bowl, your product is great. All you gotta do is get your
- 1:28:30players to actually play. That's it. That's that's all. I don't need
- 1:28:38you in a playing tournament. I just need Kawhi Leonard to play. I'll
- 1:28:41tune into the game. I don't need you. You're not making me watch
- 1:28:45for some insignificant trophy. Oh I won the Golden State Warriors won the World
- 1:28:54Championship, but I won to play in tournament? What is that? Jamaye
- 1:29:00du prehad Janet Jackson, but I got Janet Oglethorpe, and everybody be like
- 1:29:06who. And that's the part nobody knows. Nobody's gonna remember who wanted to
- 1:29:13play in tournament. Nobody. It's like nobody remembers the Las Vegas Aces won
- 1:29:18the w n b A tournament. Who I don't know who won that little
- 1:29:24in season thing. The commission who won, No, No, no,
- 1:29:26Google, who won? The commissioners car the people who beat the Phoenix people.
- 1:29:31They I won't say Phoenix. I'm gonna take a gainst Phoenix. Everybody
- 1:29:33to take a guess. My point is that's how it really happens. People
- 1:29:42remember that's so funny. Well, let meranking us. And this is what
- 1:29:48I don't well, because it's not like they're getting all together like they did
- 1:29:54with the bubble. They're just saying that this game tonight, part of it
- 1:30:00is an intern. We don't change the court, so you'll know this was
- 1:30:02an in tournament game, which they probably just jacking up the ticket price on
- 1:30:06that game for people. And you don't know any different. It's just a
- 1:30:11basketball game. I don't get what's so hard about eighty two games for something
- 1:30:19that has been around for fifty years. We've been playing eighty two games since
- 1:30:25the early eighties, and they're making it seem like this is some new math
- 1:30:30since the sixties, I thought you wanted to be like Mike. I'm gonna
- 1:30:32just say that, you said you wanted to be like Mike in that hold
- 1:30:38on. In basketball, the biggest thing you could ever do in basketball is
- 1:30:43be like Mike Yeah, and not Michael Jackson. He was good. Not
- 1:30:48Michael Tyson, he was good. I don't ever remember talking to George that
- 1:30:54it was too many games. Too many games now, and that's what I
- 1:30:57want to ask you about sports, Jock. This play in tournament, some
- 1:31:00of it seems like it's risking low ratings. We've got World Series, We've
- 1:31:06had NBA Championships that people didn't follow closely because of the teams in it and
- 1:31:14the markets they were from. Now you want to have a play in tournament,
- 1:31:17which would water down anything else that the NBA is trying to sell us.
- 1:31:23And then, on the other part, do you think they do this
- 1:31:26just because contractually the guy who would have tried to load manage when he came
- 1:31:30here to play Atlanta has to play tonight because we got it as a play
- 1:31:34in tournament game. So come on, man, you gonna have to suit
- 1:31:39it. That's all I'm saying. If you just got your players, your
- 1:31:41NBA All Star Game is down because the players don't play, It's not the
- 1:31:47game. If the fans thought that they were giving ninety percent, they don't
- 1:31:54even have to give the hundred. But if they played the All Star game
- 1:31:58in an intensity way like they do usually like the last six minutes. Ever
- 1:32:04watch it when it's close and it's the last six minutes, then all of
- 1:32:08a sudden they snap into I am an NBA All Star. You don't see
- 1:32:15all those alley you don't they take all that away. If the game real
- 1:32:18close, they stop all that and they just play basketball. If they would
- 1:32:23just play the game and that kind of sequence, people would watch. But
- 1:32:28since you play it like the Harlem Globe trotter, people have no interest in
- 1:32:31that. I just don't get playing tournament. And then they break to try
- 1:32:35to tell you, well, this is supset and they're gonna be in Las
- 1:32:39Vegas and they're gonna play for the consupthing Cup. What they gotta do with
- 1:32:43June? And that's that's not a real I was sitting watching was it Milwaukee?
- 1:32:49They have a lot of races before the Preakness, Yes, they do.
- 1:32:53At the they have a lot of races before they have the big race.
- 1:32:57Who won the semi finals? The people don't know that horse, the
- 1:33:01chase whatever that is. Yeah, the horse who came behind everything in front
- 1:33:05of everybody else. So do you think this is a situation where like we
- 1:33:11go back to Caleb Williams, these these new athletes do we have to figure
- 1:33:15something out to keep them entertained, to stay engaged. That's what and that's
- 1:33:19where that training comes in. When I say to where they see their sport
- 1:33:25as though it's getting in the way of their life. That's the way.
- 1:33:29I don't see the sport as their life. They see it as something you
- 1:33:32asked me to play, and that's getting in the way of my forty million
- 1:33:36a year of my life and the other things that I want to do today.
- 1:33:41And you really want me to stop shopping at the mall to the arena,
- 1:33:45yeah, and play and ring. But if you win, this is
- 1:33:48the thing you win. You get half a million dollars. Every each player
- 1:33:51gets half a million dollars. I get that a week. I'm in the
- 1:33:56NBA. Listen, this is what I'll understand. What's going to happen and
- 1:34:00is you keep talking about the mindset of the players and how they won't I
- 1:34:04can't really get inside a player's head because I'm not a player. I do
- 1:34:09know that as someone who is a super basketball fan watching Milwaukee and who did
- 1:34:15they play Friday night? The Knicks, the Knicks, and they were trying
- 1:34:18to explain play in tournament. I turned as a person who would have watched
- 1:34:24that entire game when they started. And then what we'll have is then you
- 1:34:28go and then the see to click and I watched Spanish television. I would
- 1:34:33watch anything else, but you explain this what doesn't make sense to people?
- 1:34:39You're scamming me. It's a shell game. And I turned from I forget
- 1:34:44which game when I saw the colorful court. Yeah, I turned the games.
- 1:34:46I thought it was like a fake game. See and I was like,
- 1:34:49I don't want to watch this. If anyone watched the Heat or the
- 1:34:53Bulls, I thought they were playing on a green screen because their court,
- 1:34:57the court was red red. You know how that shows up on TA Yeah.
- 1:35:00I just turned the game because that's what I'm saying. So now you've
- 1:35:03got two people who, otherwise basketball is on the TV indefinitely have turned from
- 1:35:12the sport. And those ratings are gone. Those dollars that I would have
- 1:35:16spent trying to watch one of those games gone. So you're about to push
- 1:35:20away everybody that loved the sport. And that's why these gimmicks are coming up
- 1:35:26now, is because you keep on coming up with ignorance. The only complaint
- 1:35:30we've consistently heard O the last couple of years that we've talked about I've heard,
- 1:35:34and I'm quite sure you three have heard. It's really just that we
- 1:35:38would like the stars to show up and play. Nobody's asked for en tournament.
- 1:35:43We ain't ask for you know, we ain't ask for you to interview
- 1:35:47nine coaches? Who's been who wants to know what the coach is thinking?
- 1:35:53All those little breaks that y'all keep adding that stuff does not enhance the game
- 1:35:58at all. They keep interviewing it. Hey, what you say, Well,
- 1:36:02we're gonna get him on the sideline. Oh, we're gonna mic him
- 1:36:04up. None of that is actually enhancing my experience of this game. I
- 1:36:08don't want to know what he's doing. Oh yeah. First of all,
- 1:36:12as I have told you, when you add a mic to something, you
- 1:36:14take away the genuine you put me in my presidential Now I'll become Joe Biden
- 1:36:23stoic. That's not how I would have greeted Vic Kenny for that dunk if
- 1:36:28I wasn't miked up. When I'm miked up, I dunk and go all
- 1:36:30right, get back on defense. But when I'm not miked up, I
- 1:36:34dunk in and go tell your mama said, hey, till I be by
- 1:36:39for the big piece chicken, because that's the real And then again, what
- 1:36:44am I supposed to get out of? All right, way to go?
- 1:36:45That's all you saying? All right, way to go? I have no
- 1:36:48idea thirty nine thirty seven the Texans. Yesterday. C J. Stroud breaking
- 1:36:54out trying to win the Rookie of the Year at quarterback for the Texans,
- 1:36:59went for four hundred and seventy yards, five touchdowns, zero interceptions, Only
- 1:37:05one of five or six quarterbacks in the history to be able to throw that
- 1:37:11many yards, that many touchdowns and no interceptions in a game. Baker Mayfield
- 1:37:16having a good day. Baker Bayfield has actually put a good day to season
- 1:37:20together down there for Tampa Bay. He lost yesterday, but he threw for
- 1:37:25two touchdowns, no interceptions. He was twenty one of twenty nine. Good
- 1:37:30day for Baker. The Texans quietly or four and four, and Miko Ryan
- 1:37:36has that team playing well. CJ. Stroud having a solid season. It
- 1:37:43looked like he's lining up for the Rookie of the Year if he keeps this
- 1:37:45up and the Texans had a kicker was out and so they had to use
- 1:37:48a player. First time this has happened in what twenty years? I think
- 1:37:54he was like a backup running back, backup, running back kick the field
- 1:37:57goal and then Alvin yeah like that. I can't how does that happen?
- 1:38:01How does that happen? Is that something that during the combine, after I
- 1:38:06run and do all of my running back stuff, that go, you got
- 1:38:09anything else for us? Or are they just on some anybody want to take
- 1:38:13a shot? How does that happen? Typically is that you you probably punt
- 1:38:16it or field goal kick at some point in your career, and you usually
- 1:38:21only take Usually the punter in the emergency becomes the field goal kicker, or
- 1:38:28the field goal kicker becomes the punter. If the punter gets hurt because you
- 1:38:32only have one of them dressed for the game, then there is an emergency
- 1:38:36guy. Just like you might have two quarterbacks and then you just deem that
- 1:38:42somebody that might have played quarterback in high school will be the third. So
- 1:38:46if the two, like yesterday the Hall kid from Minnesota got hurt, Joshua
- 1:38:53Dobbs went in cam Akers was the third quarterback. He's the running back.
- 1:38:58Now you go to a different system where it just might be he has to
- 1:39:01run the ball every play, but it's usually probably if we looked up cam
- 1:39:05Akers, probably in high school he was a quarterback, even if it was
- 1:39:10just for a minute. It's the same thing with the kicking game. I'm
- 1:39:13just looking for someone who at some point familiar with the process, with the
- 1:39:17process and might and get the ball. And I think it was real close,
- 1:39:20like an extra point. Yeah, it was an extra point. So
- 1:39:23it's like, I'm not asking you to kick the ball. I'm just asking
- 1:39:27you to do something, and it worked out for the Texans. We'll be
- 1:39:30back with more to Sports Jock Show right after this Jon't Bowl. Wayne Board

- 1:43:14them and sell T shirts for us and put our little logo just cry.
- 1:43:18Put this man that'll be if he buy a T shirt just like that.
- 1:43:23Wait now, listen, listen, listen. I'm not saying that marketing current
- 1:43:32viral moments on T shirt is a bad idea, but to put you in
- 1:43:39charge, I'm saying now with no supervision, you want to go to the
- 1:43:44East Coast with merchandise that you gonna quote unquote sale and then bring the profits
- 1:43:49back. Man. I am the one, obviously, obviously none of us
- 1:43:55have any confidence in that, Okay any confidence. I'm known for crime and
- 1:44:00they trust me more. New Orleans beating Chicago yesterday twenty four, the seventeen,
- 1:44:05Derek Carr having a solid game twenty five or thirty four, threw for
- 1:44:10two touchdowns Trevor Tyson Backett excuse me, through three interceptions for the Bears.
- 1:44:17This Bears are still looking pretty for next year. They signed Montez Sweat to
- 1:44:23a four year deal for the defense, and they're going to have a whole
- 1:44:26bunch of top picks for next year as well, since we found out they
- 1:44:30have Carolina's pick in the draft, so most likely they will have two first
- 1:44:36top five picks, which I was watching Jade and Daniels, I know Big
- 1:44:41Kenny asked about Caleb Williams for USC and how high he would go. I
- 1:44:45know, the bad producer. Four weeks ago he was singing the praises of
- 1:44:49Sherdur Sanders. He hasn't really spoke about that since they up the high.
- 1:44:55The kid from LSU. Yeah see you see how yeah he faded to he's
- 1:45:00talking about the process now and now he wants Dare to go back to college
- 1:45:03again. A couple of weeks ago, even time, I used to leave
- 1:45:06early in the Falconship drafting, but that is since went away. But jayde
- 1:45:13Daniels, it's it's some interesting Bo Nicks of Oregon, Jade Daniels of LSU.
- 1:45:18You got Michael Pennett's of Washington. So it's a crowded little field there
- 1:45:25of quarterbacks. When you was asking about Caleb Williams and some of Caleb Williams
- 1:45:30is just like we were saying, team's going to be able to trust that
- 1:45:32he can handle the pressure. That is part of your recruiting. It is
- 1:45:38part of your draft. It's not just about can you throw the fade route?
- 1:45:43It's about how I think you might lead men from that position. When
- 1:45:49we talk about the draft, and we were saying, like, and I
- 1:45:56lost my train of thought when you brought up Caleb Williams. It just my
- 1:46:00mind about him. But you have some of these guys, Uh, That's
- 1:46:03what it was. Bo Nicks at his age, is this just the right
- 1:46:06time in football for him? Because usually a guy his age wouldn't be considered
- 1:46:12to be drafted at quarterback. Would he his age? Well, I'm saying,
- 1:46:15what is he twenty four, twenty twenty or is he just one of
- 1:46:19them people kind of like all the kids are in college on their fifth sixth
- 1:46:26he's twenty three okay, twenty three okay because of COVID they all got an
- 1:46:29extra year and all that stuff. And he just seems like one of those
- 1:46:31childhood celebrities that's just been around so long. What does he think he's a
- 1:46:36little older. This isn't six years playing, right, that's a long time.
- 1:46:43Yeah, he just took advantage of the system. YEAHL doesn't care how
- 1:46:47old you are to do your job. If maybe it doesn't happen as much.
- 1:46:53I like, well, that's had been it was drafted. He was
- 1:46:57at Georgia for twelve years. Hater, Well how was it there? Well?
- 1:47:02What was the quarterback from Florida State? Was it Chris? Chris?
- 1:47:05Chris? He was like eight years played baseball and then and then used it.
- 1:47:13Quincy Cardos a prime example. He went in base baseball for a while.
- 1:47:17Johnny al Wayne Brandon won, did that? Yeah, Yeah, that
- 1:47:21wouldn't hurt about Nicks at all. In the Big Game yesterday, at four
- 1:47:25o'clock four thirty the Eagles and all the cheese steaks that Dallas could help.
- 1:47:31How about Philly Greg? You got that look at you? For you that
- 1:47:36don't know Commanchi Greg is a cowboy. I held them off as long as
- 1:47:41I could. You can't. Don't take it. You lost to a guy
- 1:47:45who just got off the couch. He did just get off the all right,
- 1:47:49But how about them cowboy? Twenty eight to twenty three, the Cowboys
- 1:47:55losing to the Egos. Salen Hurts throwing for two touchdown in this game,
- 1:48:00the Eagles defense doing enough to uh interf You're Dak had a pretty good game,
- 1:48:05though, when you look at the total numbers for Dak. The Cowboys
- 1:48:11once again just like the Falcons when I watch him. The mystery behind both
- 1:48:16of those teams is their inability to run the ball. The Falcons waited till
- 1:48:24like the last drive, and I'm like the whole game, I'm like,
- 1:48:27when are y'all gonna run the ball? What happened to the run game?
- 1:48:30What happened to Cordell Patterson and Algier? And I thought you was gonna mix
- 1:48:34Robinson and you were gonna be and come downhill and then on that last little
- 1:48:41drive they did it a little bit, had a lot of success, and
- 1:48:43I'm like, well, I thought that was your offense. That was the
- 1:48:46first pick they made in the draft was a running back, and they seem
- 1:48:50like they just run him. Wouldn't Falcons just start throwing the ball with Taylor
- 1:48:56Hanke? Excuse me? How did the boys lost come to us? I'm
- 1:49:00trying to we know, we know we was horrible yesterday. You were not
- 1:49:05horrible yesterday, bad producer. What do y'all be watching? Talking about the
- 1:49:10play calling? I thought it was thirty one from the play calling. The
- 1:49:13play calling one bad? You were up. The defense didn't do nothing to
- 1:49:15stop got the top five defense? They did? They know they did not.
- 1:49:19They let Joshua jobs drive and go get a touchdown? When did you
- 1:49:24do your job when he literally just always being so offensively right from the airport
- 1:49:30man, the Falcons had a twenty eight lead. Y'all over here talking this
- 1:49:34is my show. I keep remembering trying to tell you that, so I
- 1:49:39can cut your mic off or you can listen. Since you asked the question,
- 1:49:42how did we get about back round to the Falcons? Did he not
- 1:49:44ask me that how do we get around? Did he not ask me that
- 1:49:46he was talking about I was actually going to go back to the Cowboys because
- 1:49:49I said the mystery was with both of these teams their inability to run the
- 1:49:53ball. He said that the mystery. But since he wants to go back
- 1:49:57to the Falcons. The Falcons had a lead, yeah, on a team
- 1:50:01that was on their third quarterback, and your defense gave up. And then
- 1:50:05the first thing come out of his mouth is how the offense didn't do something.
- 1:50:10It's twenty eight to three. We never got the ball back to do
- 1:50:13anything. All we did was give you the lead. Now you can stop
- 1:50:16this young man who doesn't know any plays. He don't know who to throw
- 1:50:25the ball, he don't know the receivers. He ain't got no connection.
- 1:50:27These guys didn't go to high school together. He's just out here. Instead
- 1:50:31of you stopping him and get they needed a touchdown, not a field goal.
- 1:50:38But the first thing got his mouth is the offense did something wrong.
- 1:50:43And you know what, that's what's wrong with the Falcons. They can only
- 1:50:47see life one way. Joshua Dog bought a ticket to the game, and
- 1:50:51we'll be back. More than sports Jock Show right after this. How about
- 1:50:58stop doing that? Hey? No, no turning me down. When I
- 1:51:01add a segment, it's over. We'll be back more to Sports Jock Show,
- 1:51:10Don't Bowl Wayne. More of the Sports Jock Show with Wayne Gantius coming
- 1:51:14up next. Babes, what are you doing? What? I'm just smelling
- 1:51:20the lawn. No, it's blazing hot and dry out here. Don't you
- 1:51:25remember Smokey Bear says avoid using power equipment when it's windyer dry. Where'd you
- 1:51:30learn this? Oh? It's on smokeybear dot Com with many other wildfire prevention

- 1:52:43announcement brought to you by Feeding America and the AD Council. And now back
- 1:52:49to the sports John Wayne Gandy, It's time for the school board when we
- 1:52:58put a spin on life and sports and how they intermingled on the Sports Jack
- 1:53:03Show with Wayne Gandy. What about you the Sports Shock Show. I'm the
- 1:53:29sport Jacque Wayne gandee soccer player Luis what do you say? DS? What's
- 1:53:36his name? Yesterday sending a tribute to his dad. His dad has been
- 1:53:41kidnapped, Yes, by a gorilla military group in Colombia. Excuse me,
- 1:53:51it happens. It half astortion, it happens. Now. I know why
- 1:53:57I was supposed to be in a game, so I ain't able to make
- 1:54:00it because I'm with a gorilla group and they kidnapped him. Are they ransoming
- 1:54:09him to mister Das, Yes, no details on what on on how much
- 1:54:16they want or what they actually want. But but you know the soccer with
- 1:54:20the Colombians and all that from even at least that's what that's what, that's
- 1:54:25huge. That's what Colombia's government is saying. Their government is saying that the
- 1:54:30Gorilla group kidnapped him. And he pulled his shirt up yesterday in support of
- 1:54:34his dad. He had on a shirt that basically kind of like was like
- 1:54:39saying freedom for Daddy or something like that on the shirt, which is freedom
- 1:54:45for Dad, Freedom for dad. So he put it in Spanish. Maybe
- 1:54:49send a copy of that the Caleb Willianbi because this man can play with his
- 1:54:55dad. Kidnapped, no regular kidnapped. Now, if the government saying that
- 1:55:01he was kidnapped by a military group, then I'm believing it. But he
- 1:55:05think maybe it's a tax evasion thing. And now he just he had got
- 1:55:10he had missed two matches. Is his mother and father were kidnapped. His
- 1:55:15mother was let go and they said that they would free his father on Thursday.
- 1:55:20That hasn't happened. This when he's gonna drop the other bound in the
- 1:55:25bank account. He paid mama's first, and then now we got it.
- 1:55:28Oh, we got we got He trying to get a go fund me going
- 1:55:31in there. You got that first. You paid for mama first, so
- 1:55:36we always get mama first. Well, daddy probably was like being chivalrous and
- 1:55:42said take your mama first, right. No, she would like let let
- 1:55:47the lady go in this. No, he paid first. Women and children
- 1:55:51go first. See the first transaction went through, and look like that ain't
- 1:55:56your real mama. Boy, That ain't your real mama. That I'm white,
- 1:56:00That ain't your real boy. You better come get me first. I'm
- 1:56:05sorry, mister Diaz that you're going through that. Somebody's kidnapped your relatives,
- 1:56:13your parents, and now they let one go and one still free. Okay.
- 1:56:16Dabo Sweeney had something to say after beating Notre Dame I know, the
- 1:56:20bad producer. He says that Paul finebahn Uh, the SEC Guru, says
- 1:56:28that Dabo should not have been so emotional with his comments against what was a
- 1:56:36guy named Taylor Tyler the caller. The caller and Dabo really took offence last
- 1:56:43week. I wonder if Tyler's gonna call into the show anonymously today today there
- 1:56:47is supposed to be the night in the show Everybody's Looming last week and Dabo
- 1:56:54Sweeney, the head coach of Clemson, really let his emotions go. And
- 1:56:58I think some of these coaches, especially the ones that are just not from
- 1:57:02or been as we talked about, cut from that old Dabbo is fifty to
- 1:57:06fifty one years old, and it seems that he had just had enough of
- 1:57:12the fan complaints as he said last week that hey, I've won ten twelve
- 1:57:18games for the last decade. As soon as I lose a couple of games,
- 1:57:23you say you're not a fan, or you want to question me my
- 1:57:26salary, my religion, all that kind of stuff. Dabo got to win
- 1:57:30against Notre Dame, so Paul Finbond he came out and said, you know,
- 1:57:34he felt that he was being spoiled and he has no relevance. He
- 1:57:38won't be relevant again. I mean, Paul Feinmont really went in is to
- 1:57:42the point, and I think a lot of people upset because Dabo was like,
- 1:57:45basically like you said, hey, regardless you don't like what I'm doing
- 1:57:48here, let me go. I go contract, I get somewhere else.
- 1:57:51He you know, I could go somewhere else and do what what you don't
- 1:57:55want to let me do here at Clemson. What Paul saying about. He
- 1:57:58was saying, Dabbo is spoiled. Yeah, being spoiled like a spoiled brat
- 1:58:01for talking to down on your fan base. And you know you know what
- 1:58:05now, pop Paul finebomb is a broadcaster. Correct, he's considered I'm asking
- 1:58:13did he play football? No, he did. He coach football. And
- 1:58:17the reason he's coming down on Dabbo Swingey is what we've been talking about since
- 1:58:21this show started. You really wont to believe you know what you're talking about.
- 1:58:27You really want to believe that you're sitting in this seat has something to
- 1:58:30do with me being the head coach of his team. You really want to
- 1:58:34believe that you could do what I do and your kids could do what these
- 1:58:39athletes do, and you can't. You a fan, you a spectator,
- 1:58:44Sit down, eat your popcorn, shut your face, and tell your mama
- 1:58:48to keep you out the stands when you lose. The problem is everybody want
- 1:58:54to do what they not capable of doing. And instead of just saying that,
- 1:58:59you want to say I'm wrong for telling you to shut up when nobody
- 1:59:03talks during these moments, but you would know that if you were part of
- 1:59:08this game. And I wonder why Paul never sees that maybe some of the
- 1:59:11fan oversteps. I mean fans, fans overstep all the time. They act
- 1:59:19like they have all the wisdom and they would have made this call and that
- 1:59:25call. They seem to be short minded with their appreciation. Clemson was just
- 1:59:30the Kings of football two three seasons ago, and now I got a retool
- 1:59:36because the biggest thing I see the Dabbo hasn't started playing. He seems like
- 1:59:41he's not really a fan of the ni l story, so he hasn't He's
- 1:59:46just still kind of going on the old road map, right because he doesn't
- 1:59:50want He thinks that it's coming in between how he'd like. He doesn't want
- 1:59:55to recruit that way. So I get the part where he's gonna get on
- 1:59:59board. But I never hear people calling the fans to stay in their lane
- 2:00:06shot because it's always fans defending. And I was shocked by Fine Bam because
- 2:00:11how he treats his callers, some of his people, he's afraid of the
- 2:00:14Clemson fan base in Ohio State, how they come at him with his thoughts
- 2:00:17and different things for him to go at that Dabbo in that manner. I
- 2:00:21thought that was like wow, I was really shocked. And the thing that
- 2:00:25I thought you wanted out there as we go is that if that's how Dabbo,
- 2:00:29I want you to call in with your real feelings and I want you
- 2:00:33to allow Dabbo to say his real film facts. I thought that's how we
- 2:00:38really wanted this thing to go. That's the part that throld me. I
- 2:00:42don't want to muzzle you, right, I don't want you a real I
- 2:00:45don't want the piece. I don't want the standing at the podium in the
- 2:00:48gray suit, white shirt, red ties. If that's what you feel today,
- 2:00:54Dabbo, like we said, I ain't coming for that today. Now
- 2:00:57you screamed, Dabbo sucks. I'm supposed to go. The lady already on
- 2:01:00gave me some cold oatmeal this morning, and I'm mad. So you called
- 2:01:04here talking about I'm ready today and with a mouth full of are in the
- 2:01:11ocean. The truth is he will throw your in the ocean. It's time
- 2:01:17to wrap things up. On The Sports June Show with Wayne candy. When
- 2:01:43you're decided an ocean against the sports, y'all, jest a minute to fit
- 2:01:45and we'd like to thank you for tuning in to the show this morning.
- 2:01:48Remember Monday Night football tonight the LA Chargers headed to the j E. T
- 2:01:54S Jets, Jets Jets, Monday Night football. One o'clock today, Notre
- 2:01:58Dame fighting Irin, It's taking on the game Cox to South Carolina women's college
- 2:02:02basketball. Should be an exciting game. Bat producer Jimmy Butler and funny man
- 2:02:13in himself. Oh no, come on you, Greg, I'm just messing
- 2:02:15with you. Thank you for your contributions today. Caleb Williams, you know
- 2:02:19I can't miss you, man, I can't miss you at all. But
- 2:02:25you know what, Caleb, I'm not throwing you an ocean. I'm not
- 2:02:30throwing your daddy. I'm not throwing your mama. Y'all a family, family
- 2:02:34that cry together, I guess, but y'all still a family. I'm throwing
- 2:02:40your publicists in the ocean because they ain't been training you. Right, you're
- 2:02:45crying in the stands and then you had enough nerve to go say you want
- 2:02:48to just go lay up in the bed with your dog, you're supposed to
- 2:02:51say something gritty. I'm about to go slap somebody at the ball or grab
- 2:02:56a woman, or at least go punch a coach. Teams want to see
- 2:03:02some toughness. You said you're just gonna get and go watch some shows.
- 2:03:05What's going on? I'm quite sure the dog he disappointed in you too.
- 2:03:11He was watching the game. You look like one of the people that leave
- 2:03:14the TV homes so the dog can see the gang. Yeah, you got
- 2:03:17that. You're gonna pick the dog. I know that. So he just
- 2:03:24what makes you think he want to cuddle with your crying up there? Understands
- 2:03:30that's what he want to ask you when you're crying. But for that,
- 2:03:39I'm firing your publicist doing them. I don't know that name, but they
- 2:03:42ain't doing a terrible job of preparing you for interviews and all kinds of situations.
- 2:03:46They're doing a good job on the n I L. But they're doing
- 2:03:49terrible Norman notion. You don't can have a good afternoon from the Sports Shop
- 2:04:02show. We'll see you later in the week. Peace. M m hmmmm.
