- 0:00The success of this product is going to be its own downfall.
- 0:02We're seeing the two hemispheres of the industry, crypto and
- 0:05Bitcoin, come together. Do you think it's realistic for
- 0:08Bitcoin to cost $36 million in 2076?
- 0:12Yes. Last week Michael Saylor shocked
- 0:15the world by announcing that strategy will likely sell
- 0:17Bitcoin this week they bought another 535 coins and with STR
- 0:21CS ex dividend date this Friday, we could be in for another
- 0:24massive week. Today I'm going to show you why
- 0:26the selling controversy was never what it looked like and
- 0:29why when you line up every move sailor has made this year, it
- 0:32all points at one target that changes the game for Bitcoin
- 0:35forever. And while everyone is arguing
- 0:36about selling, something else is happening quietly underneath.
- 0:39A system is being built on top of sailors products that merges
- 0:43Bitcoin and and he's not just allowing it.
- 0:45He's welcoming and it could set up the next leverage unwind
- 0:48disaster. This is truth block.
- 0:50I'm Hurley. Let's mind truth.
- 0:59Hey guys, before we dive in, I just want to let you know that
- 1:01we're building something really exciting.
- 1:02It's simply Bitcoin that you won't want to miss.
- 1:05Scan the QR code below to learn more and be one of the 1st to
- 1:08see what's coming. All right, let's start by
- 1:11closing the loop on the Sailor and Strategy selling controversy
- 1:13from last week. Strategy has still yet to sell
- 1:16any Bitcoin. Instead, they announced another
- 1:18buy this morning, 535 more Bitcoin, which brings the
- 1:21company's total holdings to 818,869 BTC.
- 1:26Sailor sat down with David Lynn at Consensus 2026 and put
- 1:30everything to rest in one line. I'm very famous for saying never
- 1:33sell you Bitcoin and that's why the Internet went crazy when we
- 1:37said we might sell it. But if I was being more precise,
- 1:41I'd say never be a net seller of Bitcoin.
- 1:44It just wouldn't have been so viral or so catchy to say never
- 1:47be a net seller of Bitcoin. I think that in these periods,
- 1:51even if we were to sell one Bitcoin, we'd be buying 10 to 20
- 1:54more Bitcoin. So you're really talking about a
- 1:56situation where we buy 10 bitcoins, sell one Bitcoin, buy
- 2:019 net Bitcoin and continue to create Bitcoin.
- 2:03It's it should be a non issue after people understand it, but
- 2:08right now it's a colorful area of commentary.
- 2:11So he switched from never sell Bitcoin to never be a net
- 2:13seller. That's the policy and the reason
- 2:16he said it. It all has nothing to do with
- 2:17conviction fading. It has everything to do with the
- 2:20S&P 500. When S&P Global gave Strategy AB
- 2:23minus credit rating last year, it came with a checklist of
- 2:26three things they want to see for an upgrade in the future.
- 2:29One, better dollar liquidity, 2, less reliance on convertible
- 2:33debt, and three, proof that strategy can access capital
- 2:37markets when Bitcoin is under pressure.
- 2:39And buried in that document, S&P calls strategy's reluctance to
- 2:43sell Bitcoin a weakness. So Sailor signals he's willing
- 2:46to sell. That's the third box.
- 2:48SDRC replaces convertible debt, that's the second box.
- 2:52Tax loss harvesting generates dollar liquidity.
- 2:54That's the first box. So the payoff of everything
- 2:57Sailor has been working towards the last year is a credit
- 3:00upgrade, which opens $4.9 trillion of addressable credit
- 3:04Market investment grade would open $23.6 trillion.
- 3:08So the real end game here is the S&P 500.
- 3:11The sell signal, the credit pursuit, STRC generating
- 3:14revenue. All of it is engineering a
- 3:16company that looks like a legitimate company to the index
- 3:18committee because S&P 500 inclusion means passive index
- 3:21fund flows. Every single move this man makes
- 3:24has one purpose. Stack more Bitcoin at all costs,
- 3:28and he isn't stopping there. At Consensus 2026, speaking to
- 3:32The Wolf of Wall Street Scott Milker, he described what's
- 3:35being built on top of STRC. I'll be speaking about how we
- 3:38created digital credit, which is exploded.
- 3:41It's gone zero to 8 1/2 billion dollars in eight months and it's
- 3:44growing 350% a year. So I'll speak about that
- 3:47phenomenon. I'll talk about why that is
- 3:50spreading through the Tranfi ecosystem and then I'm going to
- 3:54talk a bit about digital money and digital yield.
- 3:57How you can take stable coins and D5 protocols and loop that
- 4:02credit 3X5X. So you either get a stable coin
- 4:06or a yield coin that pays 8% or maybe you create a 25% three X
- 4:12levered or, or looped digital yield token or digital yield
- 4:17fund. And so I think what's fun right
- 4:20now is digital credit is bringing the capital gains and
- 4:24the power of Bitcoin to the, the crypto and the digital assets
- 4:29ecosystem in the form of yield coins and defy.
- 4:33And we're merging what we're seeing the two hemispheres of
- 4:36the industry, crypto and Bitcoin come together.
- 4:40So instead of having capital and crypto that never finds Bitcoin
- 4:43and capital and Bitcoin that never goes into defy or or or
- 4:46crypto industry. Now the capital flows in.
- 4:50It flows the yield coins, it flows to digital credit, it
- 4:53flows to Bitcoin, it loops back, and it invigorates the entire
- 4:57industry. This one feels like a bit of a
- 4:59head scratcher from a Bitcoin purist perspective.
- 5:01This is the man who spent five years clearly differentiating
- 5:04Bitcoin in crypto, saying there is no second best, and now he's
- 5:09openly celebrating the convergence of Bitcoin and
- 5:11crypto. I think Sailor sees it as plain
- 5:13as day. Crypto is dying.
- 5:15The speculation frenzy that used to live in altcoins and dog
- 5:18tokens. That capital is migrating.
- 5:21It's moving to leverage plays on stable coins in Bitcoin through
- 5:24vehicles like STRC and MSTR. And Sailor is building the on
- 5:28ramp and waving in the circus. He'll capture the frenzy and
- 5:31convert every dollar of it into Bitcoin.
- 5:33He doesn't care if the gamblers get burned.
- 5:34And why should he? It's not his problem, he cares
- 5:37that the Bitcoin ends up on his balance sheet.
- 5:39It's shameless, but it's also kind of genius.
- 5:42But the danger here is the likely scenario where the over
- 5:45levered gamblers get burned. Which brings us back to
- 5:47Coffeezilla. 2 days ago, Coffeezilla debated Jeff Walton,
- 5:51chief Risk officer at Strive. They talked for over an hour
- 5:54about whether these products are sustainable.
- 5:56Now this debate came on the heels of Coffee Zilla making a
- 5:58couple videos exposing STRC to what he sees as a dangerous
- 6:02yield scam on par with Tara Luna.
- 6:04We covered those claims in an episode a few weeks ago that you
- 6:06can check out here. So the debate was essentially a
- 6:08professional YouTube versus a digital finance expert.
- 6:11So you can guess how it went. But here's one moment worth
- 6:14paying attention to Let. Me say this, let me say this,
- 6:16Jeff, I, I, I will agree that I, I look at this product and I
- 6:21think about, you know, how people think about yield.
- 6:24I think that it's going to catch on enormously.
- 6:27I think that worries me deeply. I don't think I don't think it
- 6:30and I actually think that the success of this product is going
- 6:33to be its own downfall. I think the the increase in
- 6:37future liabilities for you guys will become a massive problem.
- 6:43And the bigger it grows, like the bigger problem it is because
- 6:46the more you're going to rely on Bitcoin going up by some amount
- 6:50in order to pay the obligations. So actually I think your biggest
- 6:54risk is will be the success of this product.
- 7:00And I also think like, yeah, anyway, so.
- 7:02So it is what it is what it is. It's interesting, right?
- 7:05I mean, you're the the downside risk of your position is an is
- 7:10an interesting perspective, but OK.
- 7:13No, for you guys, for for you guys specifically, I think
- 7:16that's like one of your core risks is like is this thing
- 7:18continues to grow and is super successful.
- 7:20I think that'll be a strange. Position you're like man, you're
- 7:24you're you're gonna have a hard time because your product's
- 7:26gonna be so successful like you well.
- 7:27It's not a product, It's a, it's an obligation.
- 7:30It's an, it's an obligation. Yeah, it's a liability.
- 7:33You're selling too many liabilities.
- 7:34That's not a weird position to have.
- 7:36So he says the success of this product is going to be it's own
- 7:39downfall. Now, I don't think Coffee Zilla
- 7:41is talking about the Defy leverage layer on top of STRC.
- 7:44He's talking about STRC and SATA themselves.
- 7:47He thinks the underlying products are unsustainable.
- 7:49And the reason he thinks that is that he doesn't believe Bitcoin
- 7:51will keep going up. He thinks 13% growth is
- 7:54unrealistic. He thinks 30% is insane.
- 7:57And that's where his whole analysis falls apart.
- 7:59Watch what happens when Walton asks him to follow the math. 13%
- 8:04a year for 50 years. How much will Bitcoin cost,
- 8:07assuming it goes up at 13% a year, right, which is y'all's
- 8:10cost of capital in 50 years today that Bitcoin will cost $36
- 8:16million. Do I think Bitcoin every Bitcoin
- 8:20will cost $36 million in the year of our Lord 2076?
- 8:25No, I do not. I think that is crazy.
- 8:29I think that's unrealistic 20. In 50 years.
- 8:33Yeah. What, Like what was the price?
- 8:37What was what else is 50 years old that we could try to compare
- 8:40here? The largest, the largest company
- 8:45in the equity market 50 years ago had to have been like, damn,
- 8:50not even $100 billion, probably $50 billion.
- 8:54I don't even know. 50 years ago. But you asked me to show you the
- 8:59math. Do you think it's realistic for
- 9:00Bitcoin to cost $36 million in 2076?
- 9:05Yes, yes. Like, yes, undeniably, yes,
- 9:09absolutely. Yeah, because the US debt to GDP
- 9:13is growing at a a 3.5% compound annual growth rate.
- 9:16So right now it's at 120%. It's growing every single year.
- 9:19Like at what? Point is, the US debt growing at
- 9:243 1/2 percent makes it logical that Bitcoin would grow grow at.
- 9:2713% The probability of Fiat demise is high.
- 9:33So Coffeezilla ran the compound interest calculator himself and
- 9:36when 36,000,000 per Bitcoin came out, he calls it crazy and
- 9:39unrealistic. And I get it, $36 million per
- 9:42Bitcoin in today's dollar sounds insane.
- 9:45But Bitcoins 200 week moving average compound annual growth
- 9:48rate, which smooths out the volatility and gives you the
- 9:50structural trend, has never gone below 22.6% in any year on
- 9:54record. The mean is 76%, the median is
- 9:5855%. The worst year on record was
- 10:0022.6%. And Coffeezilla can't believe
- 10:0313%. Here's the disconnect.
- 10:05He doesn't understand The total addressable market of this
- 10:08asset, $900 trillion of global assets.
- 10:11Bitcoin is $1.7 trillion. Now a fixed supply monetary
- 10:15asset in a world of permanent debasement doesn't just go up,
- 10:19it goes up a lot. It has to.
- 10:21And because Coffeezilla can't see that, he can't locate where
- 10:24the danger actually lives. Then comes the moment that
- 10:26breaks his whole framework. I look at Bitcoin, I look at, I
- 10:30look at strategic reserve, Bitcoin reserve.
- 10:33I look at, you know, BlackRock holding Bitcoin.
- 10:38I look at Michael Saylor holding 4% of Bitcoin or something like
- 10:41that. I look at all these different
- 10:43players, the institutional players and I go all of not all
- 10:49most of the big events that are going to have massive, you know,
- 10:52kind of like Bitcoin will have addressed the markets.
- 10:55It's going to address. A lot of those have already
- 10:58occurred. And so I see Bitcoin more like,
- 11:01hey, it, it's the people who have wanted it, who are going
- 11:06to, it's going to address largely it has addressed
- 11:10eventually it will come to a point of I think you'll start to
- 11:15see like an equilibrium. And I think if you, if you take
- 11:17the case of Bitcoin being an inflation hedge, if you agree
- 11:22with that, you would agree that when it once it's a mature
- 11:24asset, it's going to go up at the price of inflation, not
- 11:27every year, whatever, not as a regular thing, but eventually
- 11:30you would you would say that which is not 13%, which is not
- 11:3411 1/2%, which is definitely not 30%, Yes.
- 11:40Look the money, the money supply is going up at 6.7% compounded
- 11:43annually, 6.7%. The money supply is going up at
- 11:486.7% compounded annually. the US debt to GDP that like the the
- 11:53health of the US government and the business of the US
- 11:57government is compounding at 3.4% annually.
- 12:00It's at 120% right now. OK.
- 12:03Is that less than 13 percent? Is that less than 13%?
- 12:06Look, look, these just. It is like.
- 12:09Why do you hold dollars if? Why don't you listen?
- 12:12Are dollars risky? Let me ask you that, coffee.
- 12:14Are dollars risky? In what sense?
- 12:18I don't know, are they risky? I mean, you need to give me like
- 12:23a are you asking if there's inflation?
- 12:25Yeah, is holding dollars risky? I think it's a liquid asset.
- 12:31It's a very liquid. Very.
- 12:34Return free risk. Our dollar's risky and you can't
- 12:40answer the question. He calls the dollar a liquid
- 12:42asset. Walton calls it return free risk
- 12:45and you can cut the silence with a knife.
- 12:47This paints the picture of the whole disconnect when the D5
- 12:51yield coins blow up, And some of them will, because 5X leverage
- 12:55on any asset eventually finds the wall.
- 12:57Voices like Coffeezilla will look at the wreckage and say I
- 13:00told you so, and they'll be wrong.
- 13:02Not because they were wrong about the leverage, but because
- 13:05they can't tell the difference between Bitcoin and the casino.
- 13:07And this isn't just a Coffeezilla problem either.
- 13:10Corey Clipston posted on X calling Defy Looping Yield
- 13:13products on STRC the best candidate for the next crypto
- 13:16blow up. Lynn Alden replied that she's
- 13:18been focused on exactly this risk since the strategy earnings
- 13:21call 3 months ago. But the distinction here is
- 13:23important. Clipston and Alden aren't
- 13:25warning you about Bitcoin. They're not warning about STRC.
- 13:28They're warning about the leverage layer on top of it.
- 13:31That's the difference between someone who understands the
- 13:33architecture and someone who doesn't.
- 13:35STRC is not the next Terra Luna. The collateral is real, the
- 13:39yield mechanism is transparent, the capital structure is
- 13:42regulated. But the D5 products being looped
- 13:45on top of it AT-35 and 10X leverage, That's when it starts
- 13:49to rhyme. Not because the collateral is
- 13:51fake, but because leverage doesn't care what it's built on
- 13:54when it unwinds. So here's the full picture.
- 13:57Sailor is stacking with laser focused relentlessness that
- 14:01borders on obsession. He's basically engineering
- 14:03inevitable S&P 500 inclusion. He's building the most
- 14:06successful credit product in American financial history.
- 14:09And he's welcoming the speculation frenzy migrating out
- 14:12of the dying crypto markets because every dollar of it, no
- 14:15matter how reckless, gets converted into Bitcoin on his
- 14:18company's balance sheet. The model works, but the
- 14:21leverage on top of it will very likely burn people and Bitcoin
- 14:24doesn't carry their way when the yield coins blow up coffee,
- 14:27Zilla will say he called it. The headlines will read Bitcoin
- 14:30backed products collapse and they'll all be wrong again about
- 14:33what actually failed because they never understood what
- 14:36succeeded. That's the line.
- 14:39Bitcoin is not the derivatives built on top of it.
- 14:42Understand the difference. Get too close to the fire and
- 14:45you will get burned. Don't play Fiat games.
- 14:49Stay humble, hold your own keys, and enjoy the ride.
- 14:53So do you think this Defy Leverage stack blows up?
- 14:55Is Sailor playing with fire? The strategy Make the S&P 500

- 14:59comments. And if you made it this far,
