- 1:32episode of the site. There was a lost episode a little bit of disagreement
- 1:37on that, but today's episode aired originally August the twenty seventh of nineteen fifty
- 1:44and the title is Cupid in the Corpse. The Adventures of the Saint starring
- 2:08Vincent Price. The Saints based on characters created by Leslie Charteris and non pavilions
- 2:23from books, magazines of motion pictures. The Robin Hoood of Modern Crime now
- 2:27comes, transcribe a radio starring Hollywood Brilliant and tell us the doctor of Vincent
- 2:30Price as the Saint. You know something, Simon, Something then among them
- 2:42the fact that you're a very disturbing person. Perhaps that's my ancident answer to
- 2:47what may I ask? Why you phoned me the moment I returned from Bermuda.
- 2:52I've been wondering why you're gonna plan me with a football game, a
- 2:54dinner and a play. Why not just relax and enjoy I'd like to,
- 3:00particularly when I remember that last evening we spent together in Bermuda before you had
- 3:05to fly back to the States on some nasty murder business or other. Yes,
- 3:08there was quite an evening, wasn't it. White. Do you know
- 3:14you're very beautiful? I've always enjoyed your thinking, so Simon. Well,
- 3:17inasmuch as I have a tremendous distaste for murder interfering with moonlight, I now
- 3:23intend to take up where we left off litt a football game. Oh,
- 3:27well, it'll be a good game. As a matter of fact, it
- 3:29had better be the trouble I had digging up tickets for it. Well,
- 3:34here we are, Anne, My, how things have changed since I was
- 3:38in Bermuda. Imagine and now holding football games and cigar stores instead of stadium.
- 3:43This happens to be Tony Kartago's little establishment. There's an office inside where
- 3:47Tony conducts his main business, which consists of handling bets and scalping tickets.
- 3:53Oh you do know the loveliest people, Simon, for which you should offer
- 3:58thanks. We couldn't get any seats to day's game otherwise Tony has a couple
- 4:01of puns. Well didn't your mother ever tell you there's not polite to go
- 4:05running into people that way. I'm terribly sorry I didn't see you. My
- 4:11apology not bad nice manners too. I wonder why she came tearing out of
- 4:17Tony's that way. If you're interested, Tony can probably tell you. I
- 4:21wonder where I've seen that girl before? Some harpies huddle, I am,
- 4:26Oh someplace. I bet you couldn't buy cigars in here for love of money.
- 4:38I'm not sucking enough to layouds against that. The real business is conducted
- 4:42right in here. He are you, Tony? I want you to meet
- 4:46Hey, let her stand back in. My old grandmother would often say,
- 4:50yes, I see he's been shot, hasn't be afraid, so he's still
- 4:56alive, though, Tony, Tony, who did it? Can you hear
- 5:00me? Tony? Who guns you? Oh? No, I didn't,
- 5:09Duke he knows it's me, Tony Temperary who shot you? Don't know?
- 5:16Barns effect friend Dad? Uh m hm h oh, Simon is he he
- 5:28is? Well, there's nothing to do but call the police. Why Simon,
- 5:31the saint calling in the police on a case? What's happened to you?
- 5:35It's very simple, and I'm much more interested in the beautiful woman.
- 5:40Oh thank you, you're welcome. Well, why don't you call them?
- 5:48Oh a visiting two visitors? Darling man in a gun? That phone's getting
- 5:54kind of heavy and mister the phone, yes, he has, come to
- 5:57think of it, he is kind of heavy. If I'll take care of
- 6:00it, that's better. You know, you're the second person we've met today
- 6:05who should read Emily post. Don't you know it? Isn't polite to point
- 6:08at people, particularly with a gun. And it's also impolite to tell you
- 6:14see what he means, darling, he wants you to shut up? Is
- 6:16that it? I wondered what he was driving. That's very fun. I'm
- 6:19so glad you liked it, so I have a better routine. It goes
- 6:23like you was making up. Get up, Simon, you kill them?
- 6:32I just sleeping. Maybe that gun over his head linimate thing or two.
- 6:38And if you're smart, you won't kick up any fuss. They just as
- 6:41soon kiss you too, kiss me, yeah, with the butt of my
- 6:46gun. No re lives, baby, Simon, Wake up, Simon?
- 7:02Wake? Oh, come on, Simon, wake d Let's leave a later
- 7:08call Simon. All right, ann Hey, what goes on here? We're
- 7:14tired up? Yes, Pete thought we'd be more tractable that way. You
- 7:18know something. He's right. Where are we? How'd we get here?
- 7:23Up, Pete? He's the guy who counked you, and a buddy of
- 7:26his named Louis brought us here. It's a warehouse of some kind. We're
- 7:30in one of the storage bins on the first floor. Nice we stored away
- 7:33for the window. No no, with a little luck, we'll be out
- 7:38of here in five minutes. Mistaken identity. And I'm not superman. And
- 7:42these ropes are pretty tight and strong, darling yours maybe, but mine I
- 7:46I've had them loose enough to throw off of fifteen minutes. I was just
- 7:49waiting for you to wake up. No, don't tell me you're a superwoman.
- 7:53No, no, I owed all to dear sweet Louis Well. I
- 7:58looked at him piteously out of my big blue eyes. He just couldn't tie
- 8:01me up too tightly. I work myself free while you were sleeping soundly in
- 8:05the corner. Never again, while I underestimate the persuasive powers of women.
- 8:09And see what you can do about getting me loose. There's a little knife
- 8:13in my vest pocket that might help. I've got it, you know,
- 8:20Simon. I just remember who that girl was we saw running out of Tony's
- 8:24place. Yeah, who is she? Betty Streeter? She ah there,
- 8:28that fixed up your hands. Let's have the knife. I'll get my legs
- 8:31loose myself. Betty's Streeter, the luscious lollipop, who's picture has been in
- 8:37the newspapers lately over an engagements home. Yes, that's right, she's engaged
- 8:41to Jack Land as an old boyfriend of mine. Oh lucky girl, Jack
- 8:46is so handsome and that's very interesting. The legs are loose. Now,
- 8:54let's see if I can stand up. How do you feel outside of that
- 8:58bar burst in my head and the fact that my legs are apparently cut off
- 9:03of the nia. Someone's coming sit those ropes, so you lie down the
- 9:07floor quick, Okay. When he comes in, make with those baby blues
- 9:09and attract his attention for a minute. I'll be behind the door. Then,
- 9:13well, I won't be dealing a hand of cannastic. Whoa hello,
- 9:22piece? How do you feel? Fine? Just come back. I had
- 9:26a boyfriend Rosey here, I am peep with a peachy Now that's what I
- 9:33call more like it. Come on your feet, Yeah, better pick up
- 9:37the peas pop gun and let's get out of here. That's the first sensible
- 9:41thing you've said today. Let's what's that noise, sona? I don't know,
- 9:46but it sounds like my head feels. There's no time to delve into
- 9:50strange noises now, so come on, let's go quiet. And I wonder
- 9:54if Louis the other mug is hanging around no no after pizza it's you and
- 10:00didn't find anything. I heard him say he was going to report to the
- 10:03boss. I guess he's still reporting. Then he seems deserted. Oh look
- 10:09there's the front door and that's head for it. Well, it's certainly nice
- 10:18to be out of there. What was the name of that girl again?
- 10:22Girl? Oh Betty Streeter. Why look at the sign on this building sign,
- 10:28Simon, it says streets Warehouse. Yeah, that's what it says,
- 10:33doesn't it. Come on, man, let's find out what this is all
- 10:37about, Simon, Darling, I thought you were going to call the police.
- 10:41And Darling, that was before Pete hit me over the head with his
- 10:43gun bow. Oh, I was afraid of that. Okay, what's our
- 10:48first stop? The first we find ourselves a nice telephone directory? Yeah,
- 10:50I ask why? To find out what street the streeters live on? Yes?
- 11:13Well hello Jack? Remember me? Remember you? Oh? And sweetheart,
- 11:18if you don't think she'll get a load of this, Jack, that's
- 11:26rather warm greeting after all these years. Oh oh, yes, Simon,
- 11:31I want you to meet an old friend of mine, Jack Landers. Jack.
- 11:35This is Simon template. Glad to see your templeman, but not as
- 11:37glad as you are to see. Yeah, well not quite, come on
- 11:41in, thank you? What are you folks doing here? Anyhow? We
- 11:45came to see Betty Street here. This is where she lives, isn't it,
- 11:48Belly? Yes, remember the girl you're engaged to. Sure my long,
- 11:52she's in the living room with her father. Say, by the way,
- 11:54landers, have you got a handkerchief? Hag at you here? Of
- 11:58course? What well? I have heard that misplaced lipstick is a better detonator
- 12:01for atomic blast than plutonium. And before the two balls? Maybe all right?
- 12:05Template? Well Betty Simon smoke? What was that? Either Betty's involved
- 12:11in the premature explosion that they were shots? Come on, let's see the
- 12:15living room tablet to the left? Time which you stay back? An Betty
- 12:18bellby what? Jack? Someone shot out through the window's hurt? Look after
- 12:22mister tueter Jack. I'll take care of the guy at the window, to
- 12:26be careful. Simony may still be out of here. Now she tells what
- 12:30they got a crack on the template? Did you get him, Jared?
- 12:33I think I got him in the leg. He stumbled aft the first shot,
- 12:35but he got away in that car. And now that quiet is descended
- 12:39once again, it might be pertinent to inquire as to the state of mister
- 12:43Streeter's health. Oh, it's nothing serious, just a slight flash woods like
- 12:46wound. He was like my whole dad basted arm has been torn off.
- 12:50Any idea who was so interested in perforating the street of skin mister Streeter,
- 12:54I'll share he was one of Dad. There's no need to talk like that
- 12:58now. I bashed it, Betty. There's no reason for me to hide
- 13:01things. That crook's been trying to chisel in on my warehouse business for over
- 13:05a year. He's taking one of them over already. You couldn't possibly be
- 13:09talking about Duke Raymond, could you. That's right, Templar. He's threatened
- 13:13mister streeterter before. Box has always sent one of his gunmen around and forced
- 13:18that. Oh you've got to give in to him. Dad. The next
- 13:20time you won't be so lucky. You ought to realize now that he won't
- 13:24stop at anything. Give in nonsious. I hate to sound mercenary, mister
- 13:28Streeter, but how much would it be worth to you to get your skirts
- 13:31cleared of Duke Raymond? How much would it be worth? Who are you?
- 13:35My name's Simon Templar, if that means anything to the saint, I
- 13:39confessed? Has that started in Misstreeter? Oh? Why why? Why?
- 13:43No? Not at all? I just didn't expect of course, after all,
- 13:46only sinner's need be frightened by saints. From mister Streeter, what do
- 13:50you say? All right, I'll make you a knocker ten thousand dollars if
- 13:56you get Duke Raymond out of the way. Nothing. If you don't,
- 14:00you've just made yourself a deal. Simon, You taking money for a case
- 14:03the jury's award damages for broken hearts, and and you have no idea how
- 14:07badly I feel about letting Cupid down? Well, miss Morley, this is
- 14:28our famous riverfront. How do you like it? I don't. Now.
- 14:31There's the spot we're heading for. Do you see it? Well? I
- 14:33see some speedboats more than a dark if that's what you're talking about. Any
- 14:37particular reason for coming here? The usual reason. We're going for a little
- 14:41boat ride. How much for the ride, buddy? Twelve miles of four
- 14:46miles. That's fair enough. Come on, an, let's get here.
- 14:50You know. The more I think about this, Simon, the crazier I
- 14:52think you are. Why would anyone want to travel twelve miles out into the
- 14:56ocean to see Duke Graymond. Of course. Oh, why see, he's
- 15:01playing far a neptune on top of the weight. I presume, not exactly.
- 15:05You'll see when we get out there, and I'll expect a great big
- 15:09apology for those words when we get back. You mean, if you get
- 15:13back, don't you? Yeah, I see that man's here again. Tell
- 15:18me, PD, my friend, what are you doing here? You're coming
- 15:20along for a rhyme? That's right, you know, after paying a buck
- 15:24for twelve miles out and twelve miles back, I think I've got a right
- 15:28to be particular about the kind of company I have. Well, don't let
- 15:31a body fella's gun in my hand makes us equals besides you. But apparently
- 15:35half a buck, why only half a dollar PG because it's cheaper by the
- 15:39dozen, right PD? Yeah, yeah, you'll get the idea. Now,
- 15:43you may be going twelve miles out, but I don't think you're ever
- 15:48coming back. And now, Pete, this ride hasn't been very comfortable so
- 16:04far. That guns sticking in my back irritation. Yeah, it's too bad
- 16:08and sympathetic, so aren't you. Well, the ride's nearly over. There's
- 16:14Duke Raymond up ahead. That's funny. I don't see anything but an old
- 16:18freighter up there. That's it. Lay the black dudes, the black juice,
- 16:25the quaint ship. Gambling is the specialty. And I always thought that
- 16:29was against the law, that when you prove my oldt and you're Duke Raymond,
- 16:32that isn't you see, son? There's not a CAVN cruiser coming up
- 16:37behind. It's coming up fast too, and no lights on. I don't
- 16:40like it. I don't like it at all. Oh, don't worry,
- 16:41Pete, it's just pulling ahead of us. I guess, hey, hey,
- 16:45what do you think of doing the hardest run into it? How are
- 17:04you doing it? Like? So? Not much? Just a couple of
- 17:11more strokes, you'll do it, and a girl just two more? Now,
- 17:22Oh, wit must have been intellected. Wait a minute, I'll climb
- 17:29on board. Okay, now that does it? Okay, give me your
- 17:34hand. He does it. Quite an experience, I'd say, where are
- 17:47we in a speedboat? More to the black Deusee, which reminds me it's
- 17:52time to go to work. You're not actually going aboard that ship, are
- 17:56you? That was my original intention, wasn't it? Besides, kayton Is
- 18:00boyfriend will drown if I don't get help out to and you've got to earn
- 18:03that ten thousand dollars I know, right as usually angels. Now listen closely.
- 18:10Do you know how to run a speedboat? Yes? Yes I do,
- 18:11and I've got a funny idea. You're gonna have to run one in
- 18:15a very few minutes. I do. Oh you. I'm Simon Pemford,
- 18:34the man Pete was supposed to bring in part in the wet cloth this damn
- 18:37sea air, you know, worsh pate. The last time I saw he
- 18:41was hanging onto a wrecked speedboat a couple of hundred yards away, hanging on
- 18:45or come on, get down the casius chapler, watch the racket, Duke.
- 18:51I have a funny hunch you're gonna lay off Streeter's business, am I?
- 18:56What makes you think so? It's a possible murder rap? Talking to
- 19:00Tony Katager was bumped off. Why you're so smart? You wouldn't know?
- 19:06Maybe I do. I guess it was because he knew too much about bonds.
- 19:11Yeah, you know, securities, negotiable ones with a lot of dough.
- 19:15Well, if you get that idea from Tony he talked before he died.
- 19:18He mentioned you and Bonds. Tony always talk too much. You talk
- 19:25too much too beginning to get what you mean. I thought you would,
- 19:30you know, Duke, there you are sitting behind that desk with a gun
- 19:33in your hand. I wonder you wonder what I wonder? How you look
- 19:37with that desk on top of you. I'm too bad, Duke, you
- 19:42miss me. Sorry, I can't do the same. Sound. Imagine that,
- 19:48Duke Graymond sleeping during business hours. You're never gonna head that way.
- 19:52Old boy Horatio Algier would positively frown upon you. Nice going, Anne,
- 20:08Thank you kindly for picking me up out of the water. If I'd known
- 20:11what was going to happen, I wouldn't have when I saw you dive off
- 20:15that rail and all those people started shooting at Oh, just a necessary unpleasantness,
- 20:18my sweet. I had to get some information from Duke about Bonds Box.
- 20:23You're going to play the market right now. I'm playing the field.
- 20:26There's a murderer in it, and I'm going to start at mister Streeter's warehouse.
- 20:51Way that way. The warehouse is over to the life side. Sure,
- 20:55we're going next door, and just what do you expect to find the
- 20:57issue? Yes, of course there you see the Travers Printing company. Well,
- 21:03I see it, but I can't understand it. How did you know
- 21:07this place was here? And why I look for? Tony Kataker told me
- 21:11to look for one just before he died, and that's for this place.
- 21:14You remember the thumping noise we heard as we were leaving the warehouse, Why,
- 21:17of course it was made by a printing pressure. That's what I thought.
- 21:21We should we go in. But this are it's so dark, nobody
- 21:25will be in there. Two facts would impress me no end. Now let
- 21:29me see I should have some keys in my pocket. Why bother? That
- 21:32door is already partially open, right, Oh, this is blackest pitch in
- 21:44here. You can't risk a light until we're sure it's empty. There's a
- 21:48crack of light over there, seemed to come from a doorway into another room.
- 21:52I'm wondering. Oh, I hit my foot against something soft. You
- 22:00don't say Suppose you look up at this e evening while I shine this pencil.
- 22:06Flash down? Oh, Simon perfectly expressed. He's dead, isn't he
- 22:12auto He's been tied up, gagged, strangled, and shot in the leg.
- 22:15Who is he? I think he's the gentleman who tried to kill mister
- 22:18Street because Jack shot him in the leg. Remember he's probably mister Travers.
- 22:26The printer. What is it silent? Why did you turn off the light?
- 22:30Because that light in the other room just went out? And I hate
- 22:32to be a non conformist. Where are you going? Going to step over
- 22:37there and see what's up? Be careful, I'm not sure, but I'll
- 22:45risk it. I'm going after him. What's wrong? Whoever? It was
- 22:53locked and bolted this door? I have to pick it down. Someone may
- 23:00still be in there. You have the most pessimistic thoughts. Wait a lot,
- 23:04find the light switch. Well, nobody's here. He must have gone
- 23:11out that window. And if I hadn't been idiot enough to bump into something
- 23:14in the darkest case might have been over by now you'd have been dead.
- 23:18I what when are you using? So it's the frame under that lead pot
- 23:23over there? What's cookie? Printers use them to melt their old line of
- 23:27type slugs? And why would that be going? Now? Do you think
- 23:33the killer? There was a reason I wanted you along tonight. You've just
- 23:36hit it. There's the type thing and see those engraved copper and think plates
- 23:41on that work table. If we'd come in a few minutes later, they'd
- 23:44have been in that lead pot. I'm not so good at rading upside down
- 23:48and backwards. But uh, six percent the venturous state of secured a taxes.
- 24:02So that's it. What would you mind explaining something, Dada Darling.
- 24:06First, I've got a little surprise party to prepare. Surprise party. Yeah,
- 24:10as soon as I removed the handkerchief gag from mister Travis, send a
- 24:14message to Duke Raymond and make a few phone calls, we'll go to the
- 24:17scene of the party. How nice. Now, what's gonna happen there?
- 24:21What usually happens at a surprise party? Oh, don't tell me. I
- 24:25know one very foxy murderer is going to get a great, big surprise.
- 24:41So the surprise party is going to be at Tony Cartako's place. Right,
- 24:45you are there, it is? Now, what's gonna happen? Simon?
- 24:48All I know is that you call a lot of people in a disguised voice
- 24:52and told them something about bonds and Tony's why. And if you look inside
- 24:56the sugar store, what do you think there's a light? I'm correct,
- 25:00and that must mean one of the guests has arrived. Not quiet as we
- 25:04go in, I want to see if that's an early bird or a worm.
- 25:15Seems to be awfully busy looking for something. Help the poor soul find
- 25:18it. Hello, Betty? Hello, what's the matter? Betty? Looking
- 25:25for some bonds? Bond the ones you were called about this morning? I
- 25:30don't know what you're talking about that, Betty. That'll never do. However,
- 25:34I wasn't the one who called you this morning. How did you know
- 25:37about that? Hey? Wait for the party? Jack? Hello? There,
- 25:42all right, temporary? What's just short about? Hello? Gentlemen,
- 25:45Nice of you to come, mister Streeter. Jack, I was just talking
- 25:48to Betty about that phone call of this morning. What did you call her?
- 25:52Say? Betty? Something about your father's life being endangered over some bonds
- 25:56and that you better get down here fast to save him my life danger?
- 26:00What kind of nonsiense is that it was nonsense to Betty? She came down
- 26:03here all right. We walked in right after Betty left and found Tony carte
- 26:07Go dead. Now just a minute, you're making a pretty dangerous accusation.
- 26:11There temp weapons to be true, mister Streeter. Duke Raymond forced you to
- 26:15sell him that warehouse next to the Travers Printing company, didn't he Yes,
- 26:21and it took a lot of force. He ruined the business by destroying merchandise,
- 26:25wrecking trucks, usual racketeering message. I had to sell stop losing money.
- 26:30Maybe you better not talk so much later. Yeah, maybe you won't
- 26:34be healthy for well more, guess, Duke Raymond and tea. Yeah that's
- 26:38right, Zepler, what gives here? And now that's a rather silly question.
- 26:42Duke, you came here looking for bonds, didn't you? So your
- 26:45message was a frame at them only in a manner of speaking, Chum.
- 26:49Someone in this room owed you money from gambling, didn't they, Duke,
- 26:52and promised to pay negotiable securities to be left until called for. Here at
- 26:56Tony Cartego's sure right, template keeps talking. But when Pete came to pick
- 27:02up the bonds for you, they were missing and Tony was dead. It's
- 27:04lucky for you too. If you tried to sell those bonds, you'd have
- 27:07been arrested. They were forgeries, follies. You're sure about that, I
- 27:12know it, and I can prove it. I surprise, surprise, what
- 27:15do you think of your gambling friend now, dude, a dirty jubble crosser
- 27:22with all that done in the family too. Oh, Lon is gonna know
- 27:26you don't do it? Stop right there. I was thinking the same thing,
- 27:30Jack. Oh no, Jack, not you pretty sharp bunch. Your
- 27:33template got it all figured out. Oh, I've been known to get around
- 27:37landers anyway. It was rather obvious to take it after you kissed Anne,
- 27:41after he kissed me. What did that have to do with it? You
- 27:45see? And I get something to say for you. He's dead. Old
- 27:56Pete, here, my dear, thanks for been a busy well. I
- 28:00went for my gun to oh, think nothing of it, Pete, and
- 28:03to show my appreciation here the big guy, Duke. Let's not be hasty,
- 28:10shall we. I've got a gun too, the one I borrowed from
- 28:11you. Aboard your ship. Get on the phone and call the police for
- 28:15you, mister Streeter. Get out your check book. The amount is ten
- 28:18thousand, payable to your favorite charity. Your friend, Duke Raymond, won't
- 28:22bother you again for a long long time. It's like another drinking No thank
- 28:40you, Simon, I suppose I should thank you for a lovely day.
- 28:45It had its points, but the football game might have been more exciting.
- 28:48I doubt it, but I still need some answers, don't you see?
- 28:52And Jack was terrified when he couldn't pay Duke a huge gambling deaddy odin,
- 28:56so he hit on the idea of forging bonds. He had travel brink them.
- 29:00But I still don't understand why he killed Trout. He had to make
- 29:03sure the Travers wouldn't talk. So when Jack went to the print shop to
- 29:07destroy the evidence of the forged plates, he destroyed Travers took it's before I
- 29:11was Tony killed. Tony held the bonds for Duke, but when he discovered
- 29:15they were forged, he called the streeter home. Then he got the message
- 29:18and hurried down to see what it was all about. She thought Tony was
- 29:22talking about her fun and Jack was there over the conversation and beat her to
- 29:26Tony right, and he tried to kill us with the cruise that to stop
- 29:30us from getting Duke's store. M hen okay, As to mind, I
- 29:33guess I've got it, except for that crack about the kiss. How come
- 29:38you knew Jack Landers was guilty because he kissed me? Lipstick? Care?
- 29:44What lipstick? Yeah? Now you see after you kissed him, he had
- 29:48lipstick all over his face. When I called it to his attention, he
- 29:52wiped it off with his handkerchief, and the handkerchief that gag travers had lipstick
- 29:56on it too. Oh, and to think that just because he kissed me,
- 30:03he's dead. I wouldn't feel that way about it if I were you.
- 30:08Your kisses wouldn't kill anyone. And I can prove it. Can you
- 30:11Simon sure where you see? I guess you're right. Oh? Please,
- 30:21don't agree so quickly. Why not? I'm seriously considering making a lifetime work
- 30:26out of proving it. You've been listening to one of the transcribed adventure of
- 30:42the Saint, the robin Hood of Modern Crime. Now here's our starvants and
- 30:45Price, ladies and gentlemen. In tonight's cast. You heard Shirley Mitchell,
- 30:49Barbara Eyler, Jack Moyles, Tom Brown, Edmund McDonald, and Anthony Barrett.
- 30:55Missus Vincent Price inviting you to join us again next week at the same
- 30:57time for another exciting adventure of the thing. Good night, welcome back,
- 31:14Well another great outing for the Saint. I love when they do episodes where
- 31:21he moves about the city and It creates this really sort of big sense to
- 31:27the mystery. When you have these scenes. They're not super short, but
- 31:33there are a lot of different locations and encounters, so another action pack story.
- 31:38Only repetitive thing I noticed was having it end with the with a heavy
- 31:45taking care of the killer, only for Simon to take care of the heavy.
- 31:51But other than that, again a very solid episode. I also wanted
- 31:56to mention here with the confusion, there were two episodes, one that aired
- 32:05August thirteenth and August twentieth. The title of the one that aired on August
- 32:09thirteenth was Dossier on a Damsel in Distress, and some of the information Digital
- 32:15deliftp had indicated the information the newspapers have been given indicated the story that we
- 32:22have regarding the general plot, but he said that the title of the episode
- 32:31for last week actually was from August twentieth, Reflection on Murder. Neither title
- 32:37quite seems to fit the story, but at any rate, Yeah, there
- 32:42was one lost episode in the mix somewhere, but we're on track now with
- 32:47this episode from August twenty seventh. Well, that will do it for today.
- 32:52We will be back tomorrow with Crime and Peter Chambers and then be sure
- 32:58and join us again Monday for another episode of The Saint. In the meanwhile,
