- 0:00Speaker 1: Trending.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Here's what you need to know.
- 0:03Speaker 1: Well, we are two weeks out from election day. Of course,
- 0:07Speaker 1: both candidates are hitting the ground running this week. Trump
- 0:09Speaker 1: was in North Carolina yesterday. Harry's made STAPs in Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania.
- 0:14Speaker 1: Liz Cheney is joining Harris at some of the campaign stops.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Most polls have them neck and neck obviously depends on
- 0:20Speaker 1: where you're looking, but of course that's in battleground state.
- 0:22Speaker 2: It's going to be interesting to see.
- 0:23Speaker 1: How this all plays out. I think somebody's also just
- 0:26Speaker 1: ready for it to be over.
- 0:28Speaker 2: Yeah, it's always interesting now, you know, no matter how
- 0:30Speaker 2: you feel about it, Like election day is always just
- 0:32Speaker 2: fun watching the news, Like the people that are up
- 0:35Speaker 2: there are just giving you the updates round the clock.
- 0:37Speaker 2: I mean, the battle states are always fun to keep
- 0:39Speaker 2: an eye on, you know, like states like North Dakota.
- 0:42Speaker 2: North Dakota. I think that's the one I really like
- 0:44Speaker 2: to keep my eye on. You never know, you know,
- 0:47Speaker 2: all right.
- 0:47Speaker 1: MSUN made a big announcement yesterday a partnership with more
- 0:50Speaker 1: Head Public Schools. They will be offering free tuition for
- 0:53Speaker 1: students starting with the class of twenty twenty five. More
- 0:56Speaker 1: Head students have to have these following criteria and you'd
- 1:00Speaker 1: be eligible for this program, which is just wild. I
- 1:02Speaker 1: mean really I saw this headline is this is this
- 1:06Speaker 1: a typo? But you got to graduate for Morehead High
- 1:09Speaker 1: School have a minimum of a three point oh GPA.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Okay, pretty attainable. Yeah, And then of.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Course you have to fill out your FASPA application by
- 1:17Speaker 1: May first, and you have to make sure that you
- 1:19Speaker 1: are enrolling to be a full time student for that
- 1:22Speaker 1: following like that fall after.
- 1:24Speaker 2: High school graduation. Okay, I mean it's great if that
- 1:27Speaker 2: affects you. Obviously wish I would have been around in nine.
- 1:32Speaker 2: But what can you do? What can you do? It's
- 1:34Speaker 2: interesting a lot of people are questioning, like why just Morehead,
- 1:37Speaker 2: But I mean that's their deal. It's not up to
- 1:39Speaker 2: more Ed to you know, fight for that for every
- 1:41Speaker 2: other city in the state.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Also, if yeah, if I'm a parent and I lived
- 1:44Speaker 1: down the road like you had mentioned earlier, DGF or something,
- 1:47Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, can I transfer my kids?
- 1:51Speaker 2: Can we open and roll on? What can you do?
- 1:53Speaker 2: I had that thought if I was going to DGF
- 1:55Speaker 2: and let's say like tenth grade or eleventh grade and
- 1:58Speaker 2: I knew that this was an option and I wanted
- 2:00Speaker 2: to go to MSUM because I did end up going there,
- 2:02Speaker 2: I'm like, yeah, you know, I would. It would be
- 2:04Speaker 2: hard to leave schools, especially to Moorhead. Oh, but for
- 2:10Speaker 2: free college, I'd probably do.
- 2:11Speaker 1: It, absolutely, yes, Or my parents would be like, hey,
- 2:14Speaker 1: houses going up for sale, We're moving here?
- 2:17Speaker 2: Just yeah, right, I.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Mean, depending on the situation, but yeah, that'd be great,
- 2:22Speaker 1: all right. A historic amount of attention and rating success
- 2:25Speaker 1: has been going on with the WNBA. I mean there's
- 2:27Speaker 1: no secret Haitlin Clark, Angel Rees a lot of people.
- 2:30Speaker 1: I mean it's you know what's going on in the
- 2:32Speaker 1: WNBA now with the links unfortunately losing.
- 2:35Speaker 2: But I wouldn't maybe broad generalizations like that. Well, it's
- 2:39Speaker 2: more mainstream than it's been. No, people are aware of
- 2:42Speaker 2: those two people, but how many, you know, Like if
- 2:44Speaker 2: it wasn't for the Minnesota Lynx being in the championship,
- 2:47Speaker 2: and even then I was couldn't quite be bothered to
- 2:50Speaker 2: keep up with they came up with it.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Well, I think there's just more attention on it, but
- 2:53Speaker 1: it's still just not enough. I don't know if you
- 2:55Speaker 1: saw this, but uh, just one day after the finals
- 2:58Speaker 1: came to an end, the players decided to opt out
- 3:00Speaker 1: of the collective bargaining agreement. This, of course, has the
- 3:02Speaker 1: potential to lead to the work stoppage if a new
- 3:05Speaker 1: deal isn't negotiated and signed by the end of next season.
- 3:08Speaker 2: But also there are.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Sources claiming that the WNBA lost forty million dollars this
- 3:13Speaker 1: past season and they have yet to turn a profit
- 3:17Speaker 1: in twenty six years.
- 3:19Speaker 2: I mean, if you're an investor, I don't know how that.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Hell know, how does the math math there? I don't
- 3:25Speaker 2: get how something I get. Businesses like you know, on
- 3:28Speaker 2: pay per lose money. Yeah, but I can't even girl
- 3:31Speaker 2: math this out right? At forty mili, I don't know.
- 3:35Speaker 2: And why why are we still doing it? Who's it for?
- 3:40Speaker 2: Somebody's got to be making money, right, If you.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Would think, all right, weather today, we are going to
- 3:44Speaker 1: have a chance of some showers on and off throughout
- 3:46Speaker 1: the day.
- 3:46Speaker 2: High of about sixty a minute in the morning, Amanda's back.
- 3:50Speaker 2: If you couldn't tell, Hey, that was her. So you
- 3:52Speaker 2: just went to a little quick weekend in Colorado.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Yeah, it was full break for the kiddos. So we
- 3:57Speaker 1: decided let's just roll.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Let's go. Let's go see some family.
- 4:01Speaker 1: My dad's whole side of the families in Colorado, so
- 4:03Speaker 1: it's always nice to go see the grandparents. So that
- 4:05Speaker 1: is Uh, how is Popo, Popo, Gigi great grammys?
- 4:09Speaker 2: It's really cool.
- 4:10Speaker 1: My husband and I were talking about this because unfortunately
- 4:13Speaker 1: my husband really didn't get a chance to meet any
- 4:15Speaker 1: of his grandparents.
- 4:16Speaker 2: I think only one set.
- 4:18Speaker 1: They all died like super super young, and so my
- 4:21Speaker 1: Gigi her parents are still alive, and then of course
- 4:25Speaker 1: Popo's parents are still alive. So just being able to
- 4:28Speaker 1: have our kids go and see great grandparents is pretty incredible.
- 4:30Speaker 2: So that was absolutely some of the joy.
- 4:34Speaker 1: We also went to the zoo, which our kids had
- 4:36Speaker 1: never gone to a big zoo before outside of the
- 4:37Speaker 1: Red River Zoo. I could have sat there and watched
- 4:39Speaker 1: the gorilla for hours. Oh, it really is incredible. They're
- 4:45Speaker 1: just acting very.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Human and like it's like seeing a long lost relative
- 4:49Speaker 2: and they're just kind of staring at you, and you're like,
- 4:51Speaker 2: do you want to come home with me? Like would
- 4:53Speaker 2: you want to come over and have dinner? I think
- 4:54Speaker 2: they'd probably like that. They probably would. I don't know
- 4:57Speaker 2: what were the kid's favorite animal the monkeys for sure,
- 4:59Speaker 2: the monkey, the gorilla. They were acting like little monkeys
- 5:02Speaker 2: little time, ooh ooh were around or what were they doing?
- 5:06Speaker 2: My kids? Well more than monkeys. The monkeys were just
- 5:11Speaker 2: a swinging around having a good ole time. That's good.
- 5:14Speaker 2: So we did that.
- 5:15Speaker 1: We took the kids up kind of where we had
- 5:17Speaker 1: gotten married, up in like Evergreen area, So they hadn't
- 5:20Speaker 1: been really up to the mountains yet because they've always
- 5:23Speaker 1: been so little. We usually ditched them with Papo and
- 5:26Speaker 1: Gigi and they're spend.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Time with young experience in the world. They think everything's flat.
- 5:31Speaker 1: They think everything is flat, exactly being a little North
- 5:33Speaker 1: Dakota kids. But we brought them up to this place
- 5:36Speaker 1: called Lookout Mountains so they could see everything. And of
- 5:38Speaker 1: course I'm just pumped. I'm telling them We're going up
- 5:41Speaker 1: to this really cool area. And we get up there
- 5:44Speaker 1: and they just going, where's the park? Like all they
- 5:47Speaker 1: wanted to do.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Was just go to a park? Is our slide? What
- 5:50Speaker 2: we doing? What are we doing?
- 5:51Speaker 1: This is not for them yet at four and five,
- 5:53Speaker 1: to just go in sight see and see all of
- 5:55Speaker 1: that song I did.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Him for a second, look at the big giant fourteen
- 5:58Speaker 2: thousand foot mountains and go, huh, that's kind of cool,
- 6:01Speaker 2: kind of but not really. It was more of like,
- 6:03Speaker 2: where's the park. Where's the park? I gotta go to
- 6:05Speaker 2: the bathroom.
- 6:05Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, all right, maybe next time. Kids, I'm like,
- 6:08Speaker 1: can I get a picture.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Of you guys?
- 6:09Speaker 1: So you guys remember that you were here? And so
- 6:12Speaker 1: Sid was all jacked about that. She's like, oh yeah,
- 6:14Speaker 1: you know pos and thinking she's on the top of
- 6:16Speaker 1: the world.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Oh, and then we ended up. Nick went to his.
- 6:22Speaker 1: First Red Rocks Red Rocks concert on who'd you see
- 6:26Speaker 1: that was not somebody terrible?
- 6:27Speaker 2: I hope no.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Travis Denny, Randy Hauser and Hardy.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Oh nice, those are some names I've heard. Cool. It
- 6:35Speaker 2: was a great experience.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Yeah, you forget about the hike up there and elevation.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Nick had to stop a couple of times because you
- 6:44Speaker 1: have to climb up to get up to Red Rocks. Really, yes,
- 6:47Speaker 1: like we got drop so we got dropped off. So
- 6:51Speaker 1: it was probably a mile, but it is uphill and
- 6:54Speaker 1: getting used to the elevation. Of course, he got a
- 6:56Speaker 1: he got in some golf while he was out there.
- 6:58Speaker 1: But the concert venue, it's it's a bucket list for
- 7:01Speaker 1: so many people.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Yeah, my brother's gone there twice in the last month,
- 7:04Speaker 2: and yeah, everybody's going to Red Rocks. But me, oh,
- 7:08Speaker 2: you got it.
- 7:08Speaker 1: I know, figure out like what's on their next concert
- 7:11Speaker 1: lineup and make it a trip.
- 7:12Speaker 2: It is so beyond worth it.
- 7:15Speaker 1: I was a little bummed out because we didn't go
- 7:17Speaker 1: super early because it was three concerts, so we got
- 7:20Speaker 1: there right when it had started, but it was already dark.
- 7:24Speaker 1: I kind of forgot about that, so Nick didn't get
- 7:26Speaker 1: a chance to kind of see how pretty it is
- 7:29Speaker 1: at sunset as the sun was, you know, go it down.
- 7:32Speaker 1: But it was a full moon. We got to see
- 7:33Speaker 1: all that and just incredible view.
- 7:35Speaker 2: Wow, it looked awesome. Pictures were great. We missed you.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Good to have you back. Yeah back, ready to roll.
- 7:41Speaker 2: You miss so much. I mean, James got married. We
- 7:43Speaker 2: talked about that yesterday.
- 7:44Speaker 1: I saw that I landed yesterday and gave him a call.
- 7:47Speaker 1: I was like, well, congratulations, you're too little love.
- 7:50Speaker 2: First snuck a little wedding in there. I've adopted a cat,
- 7:55Speaker 2: so yeah, I mean we out of my you know,
- 7:58Speaker 2: the house I grew up in, the cat show. We
- 8:00Speaker 2: had a big party out there this weekend, a cat
- 8:02Speaker 2: shows up and so it just like made itself at home,
- 8:06Speaker 2: just a barn cat. Well, no, you can definitely tell
- 8:08Speaker 2: it's a house cat the way it behaves. It was
- 8:11Speaker 2: very like friendly, like just wanted to be pet, not
- 8:14Speaker 2: at all skittish, So like use the litter box without
- 8:17Speaker 2: even thinking about because we have the litter box from
- 8:19Speaker 2: the last cat who died recently. Okay, so what did
- 8:23Speaker 2: you name the cat? Have you tried to find the
- 8:25Speaker 2: cat's owners? Well, yeah, so we we've been reaching out
- 8:28Speaker 2: to like people that live in the area. And it's
- 8:29Speaker 2: so funny because one family had been missing a cat
- 8:33Speaker 2: for a couple of weeks that lives like a mile
- 8:34Speaker 2: and a half down the road, and it looks pretty
- 8:37Speaker 2: much identical. It's a black cat. Like, oh, that's that's
- 8:39Speaker 2: got to be it. And I'm so I'm talking to
- 8:41Speaker 2: their daughter. It's so funny how country people are with cats.
- 8:44Speaker 2: She's like, yeah, I mean they've been missing it for
- 8:46Speaker 2: a while. Like okay, well do you want to would
- 8:49Speaker 2: you like to get it? She's like, I'll be like,
- 8:51Speaker 2: to be honest, they're not desperate to get it back.
- 8:53Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, they don't want the cat. Got it? Well,
- 8:57Speaker 2: then somebody else reaches out and it is more likely
- 9:00Speaker 2: that it belongs to this family just because some markings
- 9:02Speaker 2: on the cat. So I got it. We got a
- 9:03Speaker 2: second candidate and it's like, oh, yeah, that looks a
- 9:06Speaker 2: lot like my cat. He's been gone for a while.
- 9:08Speaker 2: And again it's like, well, like, would you like the cat?
- 9:12Speaker 1: Are they not coming to Usually if your pet is missing,
- 9:16Speaker 1: it's this huge sigh of reliefe and you are in
- 9:19Speaker 1: the car within thirty.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Seconds to go and get your I'm just picturing us
- 9:24Speaker 2: reuniting some kids with their you know, missing pet, like
- 9:27Speaker 2: homeward bound style. I mean the person and listen, I'm
- 9:31Speaker 2: not judging in any way, but they literally asked if
- 9:33Speaker 2: we just want to keep the cat, which we can't,
- 9:36Speaker 2: like there's no one to take care of it, my
- 9:37Speaker 2: wife's allergic. I mean, we just can't. So so did
- 9:41Speaker 2: you express that to them? They're planning to come over
- 9:43Speaker 2: tonight to get the cat. I'm told where the cat
- 9:46Speaker 2: will go from there in the morning, No, Amanda, Still.
- 9:51Speaker 1: Let's see.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Let's see. Brought to you by Fleet Farm.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Liam Pann's taxicology test results show that he had substances,
- 9:59Speaker 1: including cocaine, crack, and a type of depressant in his
- 10:02Speaker 1: body when he fell to his death last week. Now,
- 10:04Speaker 1: the tests also found pink cocaine, a recreational drug that
- 10:07Speaker 1: typically mixes meth ketamine MDMA and others. His body will
- 10:12Speaker 1: remain in Argentina until the full autopsy is complete. It's
- 10:15Speaker 1: just devastating, especially now that we're getting more and more
- 10:18Speaker 1: details about everything leading up to it, the people that
- 10:21Speaker 1: maybe could have been there to support him. Of course
- 10:24Speaker 1: you can't put fault on people, but it's just like, yeah,
- 10:27Speaker 1: just wasn't surrounded by somebody who was there in that
- 10:30Speaker 1: moment that could have saved him?
- 10:31Speaker 2: And what wasn't I read that he was going to
- 10:34Speaker 2: leave but he couldn't leave the country due to was
- 10:37Speaker 2: it a visa issue?
- 10:38Speaker 1: Oh?
- 10:38Speaker 2: I did not hear that I should should read more
- 10:41Speaker 2: before I say it, But there was something there was
- 10:43Speaker 2: like a reason he couldn't leave, or he tried to
- 10:45Speaker 2: leave but couldn't. Not that it would have mattered. I
- 10:47Speaker 2: mean the list, the laundry list of drugs you just listed,
- 10:50Speaker 2: like we're talking a whole deeper issue. Of course, wasn't
- 10:53Speaker 2: just like a party.
- 10:54Speaker 1: So much going on exactly, and it sounded like his
- 10:58Speaker 1: girlfriend had left a couple of days before, and maybe
- 11:02Speaker 1: that's where he was supposed to be able to go
- 11:04Speaker 1: with her, but them couldn't.
- 11:05Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 11:06Speaker 1: I hadn't heard those details. It's just so heartbreaking. Ditty
- 11:10Speaker 1: has been hit with seven new lawsuits. They just keep coming.
- 11:14Speaker 1: There is one though, that referenced a couple of unnamed celebrities.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Now this is where I am confused.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Help me out here.
- 11:21Speaker 1: So this girl is saying she was thirteen years old
- 11:23Speaker 1: in two thousand she got dropped off by a friend
- 11:26Speaker 1: at Radio City Music Hall in New York City to
- 11:29Speaker 1: go to the MTV Video Music Awards. She didn't have
- 11:31Speaker 1: a ticket, so she stayed outside during the event, and
- 11:34Speaker 1: she was determined to go to an after party. Keep
- 11:36Speaker 1: in mind, you are thirteen and somebody's just dropping you off.
- 11:39Speaker 1: I guess this is a lifestyle. Can't wrap my head
- 11:42Speaker 1: around no. But she said she crossed passed with a
- 11:44Speaker 1: limo driver who worked for Ditty. The driver allegedly told
- 11:47Speaker 1: the accuser that she was fit for what Diddy was
- 11:49Speaker 1: looking for, invited her to a Bad Boy Record CEO
- 11:52Speaker 1: after party, which was held at a large white house.
- 11:56Speaker 1: She was forced to sign an NDA. She got there
- 11:59Speaker 1: was given a She said it was like a cramberry
- 12:01Speaker 1: ish kind of cocktail, and that's when she became woozy, lightheaded.
- 12:06Speaker 2: We've heard this story before.
- 12:07Speaker 1: She said she went to a room to lie down,
- 12:09Speaker 1: and that's where Diddy eventually entered with two other celebrities,
- 12:13Speaker 1: a male and a female, and the incident happened.
- 12:16Speaker 2: You can google it. It's horrific.
- 12:17Speaker 1: But what I'm wondering is when do we or do
- 12:20Speaker 1: we not get these names? Why is that not named
- 12:23Speaker 1: in here? Yeah, that's a good question, that's a I mean,
- 12:26Speaker 1: because there was and she talks about the act was done,
- 12:30Speaker 1: not just with Diddy.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Yeah, there's other people being accused here, because if you're
- 12:34Speaker 2: in there, you're I mean, you're complicit. Correct. I get
- 12:37Speaker 2: keeping her anon him that she was a minor, but yeah,
- 12:40Speaker 2: you gotta we got to hear some names if that's
- 12:42Speaker 2: the case. It's just it's interesting to me. I don't
- 12:43Speaker 2: understand the legalities.
- 12:44Speaker 1: I know that this lawyer has touted, Yes there's big
- 12:48Speaker 1: name celebrities involved, but do we not get those until
- 12:51Speaker 1: the trial or will we?
- 12:53Speaker 2: Is? It's crazy to me, right, I guess it's different
- 12:56Speaker 2: if they're not the ones being accused, like they're just
- 12:58Speaker 2: part of it. If as long as they're any accusations
- 13:01Speaker 2: or charges against them.
- 13:02Speaker 1: So if you read the details of this they were
- 13:05Speaker 1: involved the male and female that there was.
- 13:07Speaker 2: Yes, well then they need to be charged. And whether
- 13:10Speaker 2: you did it or not, if you're ever charge or
- 13:12Speaker 2: accused of something like your name gets thrown up. That's
- 13:14Speaker 2: just the reality of it.
- 13:15Speaker 1: So's gonna be interesting. And you know, I'm loving this.
- 13:18Speaker 1: The Golden Bachelorette is happening right now and Martha Stewart
- 13:22Speaker 1: was asked, would.
- 13:23Speaker 2: You sign up for it? And I guess she said, nah,
- 13:26Speaker 2: the guys aren't hot enough.
- 13:27Speaker 1: They're not hot enough. She's probably right, I mean, gotta
- 13:31Speaker 1: be kidding me, Martha. Well, I don't know Martha's type.
- 13:34Speaker 1: I don't know, but there are some good looking gentlemen
- 13:36Speaker 1: on there.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Yeah, but you're Martha Stewart, you have your pig. You
- 13:40Speaker 2: could go on the regular Bachelor. If you're Martha Stewart,
- 13:43Speaker 2: you know, I mean, that's the kind of guy got.
- 13:45Speaker 2: If she wanted to, she could be dating like some
- 13:48Speaker 2: honky twenty eight year old. It's just the same as
- 13:50Speaker 2: every old dude. Chelorette and she could, they would be
- 13:55Speaker 2: an audience friend Martha, what would that be? What's like
- 13:59Speaker 2: the them? I know, I know, I don't even know.
- 14:03Speaker 2: I mean the just like a cougar version of the
- 14:07Speaker 2: Bachelor at the Bachelor.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, honestly, especially in Hollywood, there's a lot
- 14:11Speaker 1: of these, uh well, it kind of depends.
- 14:14Speaker 2: It's role reversals.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Do you see Angelina Joeli? She's got herself a young man.
- 14:18Speaker 1: I think he's forty?
- 14:19Speaker 2: Is that right? She's how does she?
- 14:21Speaker 1: She's not like Martha Stewart age I want to she's
- 14:24Speaker 1: gotta be how old.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Angelina Jolly Data forty year old doesn't seem weird to me.
- 14:28Speaker 2: That seems about right. I'm saying Martha Stewart, who's eighty plus, right,
- 14:34Speaker 2: So keep in mind, we got like Robert she really,
- 14:36Speaker 2: we got al Pacino out here having kids with twenty
- 14:38Speaker 2: seve year old.
- 14:38Speaker 1: So also shocking. Angelina Jolie's forty nine, only forty nine,
- 14:44Speaker 1: I honestly put her her fifty is sorry.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Dating a forty year old? Sorry? And in the morning.
- 14:52Speaker 2: The phrases that make you sound dumb, because there's a
- 14:54Speaker 2: lot of phrases people using correctly. Oh totally, and I'm
- 14:57Speaker 2: guilty too, especially a couple of these. I'm like, oh, yeah,
- 15:00Speaker 2: definitely have done that. Oh gosh.
- 15:01Speaker 1: And there's one I have been saying for about a
- 15:05Speaker 1: month and a half and my husband's like, that doesn't
- 15:07Speaker 1: make sense. I'm going to try to text him while
- 15:09Speaker 1: you're telling this, because I've got to know.
- 15:11Speaker 2: What it is. I'd like to hear, because I'm sure
- 15:12Speaker 2: I've heard you say at a time or two, but
- 15:14Speaker 2: like number one, for example, and a lot of these
- 15:16Speaker 2: are more so if you're writing it out and spelling
- 15:19Speaker 2: it incorrectly for all intensive purposes. Heard that one. It
- 15:23Speaker 2: wasn't even until like a few years ago that I
- 15:25Speaker 2: was made aware that for all intents and purposes is
- 15:31Speaker 2: correct where most people, I feel like still are saying
- 15:34Speaker 2: intensive like intensive pair unit.
- 15:37Speaker 1: I think I say intensive. I mean, I'm not throwing
- 15:40Speaker 1: that phrase around in general, but you don't. I would
- 15:43Speaker 1: have thought that that's.
- 15:43Speaker 2: What it was. It's an easy way to sound ridiculous
- 15:45Speaker 2: either way, even if you are using it correctly. Here
- 15:48Speaker 2: it is.
- 15:50Speaker 1: I keep saying, Oh my gosh, it'll just be a
- 15:52Speaker 1: real kick in the pants.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Like in a positive way. Yes, He's like, that's not
- 15:58Speaker 2: I'm like I would be like, oh gosh, the kids
- 16:00Speaker 2: love it will be a real kick in the pants
- 16:02Speaker 2: for him. You're not saying it seriously, that's not that's
- 16:05Speaker 2: not how a human talks, but that's how I have been.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Nick just looks at me, he goes, honey, stop, But
- 16:11Speaker 1: I can't stop saying it like I'm trying to make
- 16:14Speaker 1: this a thing.
- 16:15Speaker 2: So like he's telling you that it's not supposed to
- 16:17Speaker 2: it's a it's a negative thing, correct, yes, Like god, jeez,
- 16:20Speaker 2: that that fumble there in the fourth quarter was a
- 16:22Speaker 2: real kick in the pants.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Yeah, And for me, I'm trying to make it out
- 16:25Speaker 1: to be this holly jolly exciting.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Oh gosh, it's just gonna be a real kick in
- 16:30Speaker 2: the pants. Guys. Well, I mean, you need to pile
- 16:35Speaker 2: on here. But I could go all day with things
- 16:37Speaker 2: have used think correctly over the years that this is
- 16:40Speaker 2: kind of what I'm known for. What this one. I
- 16:44Speaker 2: feel like you've said statue of limitations, statute of limitations.
- 16:49Speaker 2: I know that one. You know you've not said statue
- 16:51Speaker 2: of limitations. I feel like I've heard that.
- 16:54Speaker 1: I think statute of I probably say, but yes, I
- 16:58Speaker 1: know it's statue whet.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Different, it's irrelevant, really correct this one. I feel like
- 17:08Speaker 2: people still don't know hunger pains. Oh I've got I've
- 17:12Speaker 2: just got hunger pains going on here. So pain like
- 17:15Speaker 2: p A I n hunger pain not correct? What I know.
- 17:20Speaker 2: It's very confusing because that would make sense right when
- 17:24Speaker 2: you're describing hungry and your pain because your stomach's grumbling. No,
- 17:30Speaker 2: the word is peng p A n G. Come again, Yeah,
- 17:36Speaker 2: hunger pangs is the actual phrase. Never have I heard
- 17:41Speaker 2: or seen that and never even written out. So pang
- 17:44Speaker 2: I know, p ang. It's a term associated with hunger,
- 17:47Speaker 2: hunger induced cramping, in other words, pain. So it's a
- 17:53Speaker 2: real you know, potato potato. But if you want to
- 17:55Speaker 2: sound like it, really, if you're going to correct somebody
- 17:57Speaker 2: on that, you're gonna sound like annoying.
- 17:59Speaker 1: Absolutely, But also I'm gonna want to go you know
- 18:02Speaker 1: that's what it is, because this is one of those
- 18:04Speaker 1: conversations somebody thinks you're crazy, then they go they google
- 18:07Speaker 1: it and they have to go, oh, wow, you're right.
- 18:10Speaker 2: I mean, but is there anything more satisfying in this
- 18:12Speaker 2: world than that? When you have to have somebody google
- 18:15Speaker 2: or look up something and you're right, and they're so confident, Yes,
- 18:18Speaker 2: oh yeah, I look at this. I'm gonna look it up,
- 18:20Speaker 2: and you go, yeah, go ahead, oh.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Wait, because it's coming up. I know a lot of
- 18:24Speaker 1: people do this and I try not to. Daylight saving
- 18:29Speaker 1: it's not daylight savings, but it's not I why not
- 18:34Speaker 1: look it up?
- 18:35Speaker 2: What it feels like more of a it's like a sale,
- 18:39Speaker 2: like a big sale now during daylight savings, like in
- 18:43Speaker 2: a minute in the morning. I've always said, big fan
- 18:45Speaker 2: of retesting when it comes to driver light driver's licenses.
- 18:50Speaker 2: You're a fan of having to do the retest. Well,
- 18:52Speaker 2: not me, but other people I see on the road
- 18:55Speaker 2: who I think they gotta they ought to have to
- 18:56Speaker 2: retake a driver's test because it's clearer to me they
- 18:59Speaker 2: do not know the rules of the road, and by
- 19:01Speaker 2: the way, they're idiots. How many times a day do
- 19:04Speaker 2: you feel that way? I kind of go into some
- 19:05Speaker 2: road rage every once in a while.
- 19:07Speaker 1: It's a lot of the roundabout situation, and then for
- 19:10Speaker 1: some reason people don't understand. And I get there's some
- 19:14Speaker 1: people who may be driving for the first time on
- 19:18Speaker 1: ninety four not realizing like a lane is about to
- 19:20Speaker 1: end and they're just they're just cruising by you. It's
- 19:22Speaker 1: like that lane is going to end any second here
- 19:25Speaker 1: and you're gonna have to merge over here and you're
- 19:27Speaker 1: flying Like things like that drive me crazy.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Yeah, But then on the other side of that, people
- 19:31Speaker 2: who immediately like if you're getting onto ninety four going
- 19:35Speaker 2: eastbound and like, yeah, at University the far right lane ends,
- 19:39Speaker 2: but you've got some time so you don't need to
- 19:42Speaker 2: get into that lane and then immediately need to signal
- 19:45Speaker 2: over into the middle of traffic, like chill out, you
- 19:47Speaker 2: know what I mean. Yeah, there's a fine line for sure. Well,
- 19:50Speaker 2: it's interesting. A survey found that a majority of Americans
- 19:54Speaker 2: would fail their driver's test if they took it today.
- 19:58Speaker 2: And I don't know, it's hilarious, Whitner, Are we going? Writtener?
- 20:01Speaker 2: Are we going? The whole thing? I mean the whole thing.
- 20:03Speaker 2: It's all part of it, And I feel like the
- 20:05Speaker 2: written part would be the hardest.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Right absolutely. I failed it I think two or three
- 20:09Speaker 1: times before. Really, yeah, flew right through my drivers like
- 20:14Speaker 1: the actual driving test, but the written I just I
- 20:17Speaker 1: hate taking tests in general. I've told you this for years.
- 20:19Speaker 1: I had test anxiety, couldn't stand it. Yeah, and I
- 20:23Speaker 1: just but there's so many like I mean, how many feet?
- 20:25Speaker 1: And tell you when do you put a signal on?
- 20:27Speaker 1: I mean you'd have to study, of course, Like I
- 20:29Speaker 1: don't know that off the top of my head is
- 20:31Speaker 1: do you have to signal five hundred feet before? And
- 20:34Speaker 1: I think there are new rules, like we grew up
- 20:36Speaker 1: in driver's ed that it was ten and two and
- 20:39Speaker 1: are you supposed to keep your hands at ten and two?
- 20:41Speaker 1: Didn't they move it to nine to five or something crazy?
- 20:45Speaker 2: Yeah, dolly, pardon has let's let the charge in that one. Yeah,
- 20:50Speaker 2: according to artificial intelligence, the place your hands should be
- 20:53Speaker 2: on the steering wheel are at the nine and three
- 20:55Speaker 2: o'clock position. I knew it was something crazy or the
- 20:59Speaker 2: eight and four. So ten and two that's dust. That's
- 21:02Speaker 2: which does feel a little ridiculous. I mean, if you're
- 21:04Speaker 2: truly at ten and two, you both your hands are
- 21:07Speaker 2: on top of the steering Now it's just absurd. But anyway,
- 21:12Speaker 2: most people wouldn't be able to pass their driver's tests.
- 21:14Speaker 2: In fact, most people aren't able to accurately identify all
- 21:18Speaker 2: of the lights on their dash. What the warning lights
- 21:21Speaker 2: are indicating Oh yeah, not a chance. I had one
- 21:24Speaker 2: come on.
- 21:24Speaker 1: The other day.
- 21:24Speaker 2: I'm like, well, that's nude. Did somebody come in here
- 21:27Speaker 2: and install a different dashboard because I've had this car
- 21:31Speaker 2: a long time and that bad boy hasn't popped it
- 21:33Speaker 2: set up. I'm the point out with my car where
- 21:35Speaker 2: anytime a light comes on, or like if it starts
- 21:38Speaker 2: making a noise, I'm just turning the radio up louder.
- 21:41Speaker 2: You know, just that's not I'm ignoring that. Yeah, and
- 21:45Speaker 2: then were we supposed to know all the lights in
- 21:48Speaker 2: our car? I don't think it's part of the driver's test.
- 21:51Speaker 2: I think it's just part of being alive. I don't know,
- 21:54Speaker 2: I mean the physical part of the driver's test. To me,
- 21:56Speaker 2: I think i'd still fail that even though I feel
- 21:58Speaker 2: like I'm a good driver. Did you fail? I mean,
- 22:01Speaker 2: just there's some.
- 22:01Speaker 1: Parallel parking was always the most stressful. But whatever not
- 22:04Speaker 1: to me?
- 22:04Speaker 2: Oh my god, you want to talk about one of
- 22:06Speaker 2: my greatest assets as a human parallel parking. You just
- 22:09Speaker 2: see me the other day where we went to downtown Minneapolis.
- 22:11Speaker 2: We were eating a Hell's Kitchen with some friends and
- 22:14Speaker 2: you know, not a lot of parking, just street parking.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Something about that Nissan Ultimore. Just you go right in.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Don't blame the car, Okay, it's the day. It helps
- 22:23Speaker 2: that it's a full size sedan. Okay, it's not like
- 22:26Speaker 2: I'm pulling in there in the geometro. Okay, it's not easy.
- 22:29Speaker 2: I make it look that way, but it's not sure.
- 22:32Speaker 2: That's why my wife's still with me. In fact, every
- 22:34Speaker 2: time I do it, she's like, you never cease to
- 22:36Speaker 2: amaze me. Nailed this in the morning. You know, when
- 22:39Speaker 2: you marry somebody during the ceremony. And I've officiated a
- 22:43Speaker 2: couple weddings, I've been married myself, so I'm all too
- 22:46Speaker 2: familiar with the part they say, you know, for better,
- 22:49Speaker 2: for worse, Yes, through sickness and in health, tell death
- 22:53Speaker 2: to us part. Well, that was put to the test
- 22:55Speaker 2: here in this marriage that has gone viral. Oh gosh,
- 22:58Speaker 2: man and woman been married for some time. Well the man,
- 23:02Speaker 2: the husband, sadly was in a very bad car accident.
- 23:07Speaker 2: He was paralyzed from the waist down, so heartbreaking, horrible.
- 23:11Speaker 2: So now the wife is, you know, faced with the
- 23:14Speaker 2: situation when you know I could I could leave because
- 23:17Speaker 2: this isn't going to be easy. You know things are
- 23:19Speaker 2: not going to be the same. Well, marriage isn't easy, lady, right,
- 23:23Speaker 2: but now with a paralyzed husband, I mean it's just
- 23:26Speaker 2: you're quickly now becoming a caretaker essentially, right, absolutely? So
- 23:31Speaker 2: what does she do stands by his side? Okay?
- 23:35Speaker 1: I was like a stop, but is this why she's
- 23:37Speaker 1: going viral? Did she just get out?
- 23:39Speaker 2: That would be horrifying. I can't even imagine. For six years,
- 23:44Speaker 2: this woman helped her husband who was battling through recovery
- 23:48Speaker 2: paralyzed from the waist down after this car accident. She
- 23:51Speaker 2: was there through thick through thin, until six years later,
- 23:54Speaker 2: miraculously the husband was able to walk. Oh really, and
- 24:00Speaker 2: immediately upon being able to walk, filed for divorce from
- 24:05Speaker 2: the woman who had stood by him for six years.
- 24:09Speaker 2: Stop it and shortly after, based on a posts, said woman,
- 24:14Speaker 2: what has now remarried another woman? Yeah? That happened?
- 24:20Speaker 1: Okay, hang on, I got it. Would that that was
- 24:24Speaker 1: just all I was on this journey, and I thought
- 24:26Speaker 1: you were telling this release sweet story.
- 24:28Speaker 2: I was waiting for a plot twist. But he filed
- 24:32Speaker 2: for divorce as soon as he could walk again, as
- 24:34Speaker 2: soon as six years in that he was then able
- 24:36Speaker 2: to walk miraculous recovery. She posted a viral post. That's
- 24:41Speaker 2: where everybody found out that that he had filed for
- 24:44Speaker 2: divorce and he's already remarried. Now there's no exact timeline
- 24:49Speaker 2: on how quickly the remarriage happens, because usually if that
- 24:53Speaker 2: was the case, you think there's something going on.
- 24:55Speaker 1: Now there had to have been some sort of overlap
- 24:57Speaker 1: or but you just got to wonder how I mean,
- 25:02Speaker 1: being paralyzed, it's just not easy to an emotional connection.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Maybe something online or who knows.
- 25:07Speaker 2: And one of his other caretakers, I mean, just I
- 25:09Speaker 2: don't know the details on that. Oh my gosh. And
- 25:12Speaker 2: so did he file a reason? No, no, I don't
- 25:17Speaker 2: have the reason. It's interesting though, because the woman who
- 25:19Speaker 2: posted about her husband divorcing her and getting remarried goes viral. Well,
- 25:23Speaker 2: she got to the point she deleted that post and
- 25:25Speaker 2: posted another time, apologizing to her ex husband and his
- 25:30Speaker 2: new wife for posting that, basically saying, well, I'm sure
- 25:34Speaker 2: that he I mean, that's a big bad guy. Like
- 25:37Speaker 2: people are. People are not happy about this, Like you
- 25:40Speaker 2: find your happiness, do you? But after being your caretaker
- 25:44Speaker 2: for six years? And being by your side. That would
- 25:47Speaker 2: be gut wrench.
- 25:48Speaker 1: The biggest slap in the face in the world, right,
- 25:50Speaker 1: one hundred percent?
- 25:52Speaker 2: Or do you think it was unless she might be
- 25:54Speaker 2: a big bad girl. I don't know. Maybe there is
- 25:56Speaker 2: something there that, Yeah, she could have know, it could
- 25:59Speaker 2: have been, you know, could have been an agreement like hey,
- 26:02Speaker 2: I'll stay here, but obviously.
- 26:04Speaker 1: It doesn't sound like there was any agreement. It sounds
- 26:06Speaker 1: like this woman was probably devastated.
- 26:08Speaker 2: Yeah, she could have been relieved too, you know, if
- 26:11Speaker 2: she was. I didn't think of the same thing. And
- 26:13Speaker 2: he's like, hey, I'm thinking about it, and they just
- 26:14Speaker 2: say it at the same time. Getting a divorce, Yes,
- 26:17Speaker 2: thank got home perfect. It's been good to know you.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Best of luck.
