  day. Through this podcast, you'll

  This week we're highlighting the India field.

  It is the largest measuring field in the Eurasia region with

  more than 95,000 members and over 2300 churches.

  Throughout the week, voices from across the field will be sharing

  their daily devotionals with us. Today, we will listen to Karol

  Singh. Along with his regular job as a
• 1:04
  healthcare analyst, he serves the church as a youth leader.

  He also supports the district as a District Communications
• 1:11
  Coordinator. Good evening everyone, My name
• 1:14
  is Karol Singh. I am a youth leader in my local
• 1:17
  church with the Church of the Nazarene in Delhi district and I
• 1:21
  also serve as a district Communication Coordinator.

  Honestly, I really love walking with young people and sharing
• 1:29
  God's word in a simple, real way.
• 1:32
  Not complicated, just their real life.
• 1:35
  So today I want to share one of my favorite verses from the
• 1:40
  Bible. It's from Psalm 3418 and says
• 1:46
  the Lord is close to the broken hearted and save those who are
• 1:51
  crushed in spirit. This verse means a lot to me
• 1:56
  because there are times in life when God feels silent.
• 2:02
  You pray, you try, you believe, but nothing seems to change.
• 2:06
  And honestly many young people don't stop believing in God,
• 2:10
  they just get tired. Tired of waiting, tired of
• 2:14
  hoping. But this words remind us of
• 2:18
  something very powerful. God doesn't move away when we
• 2:22
  are broken. Oh my God love us so much.
• 2:26
  He actually comes closer. And this reminds me of Paul and
• 2:31
  Silas in the Bible in Acts chapter 16.
• 2:36
  They were doing God's work and still they were beaten and
• 2:40
  thrown into jail. Like imagine that serving God
• 2:44
  and life still goes wrong. But the Bible says something
• 2:49
  that always touched my heart. At midnight, Paul and Silas were
• 2:55
  praying and singing hymns to God.
• 2:59
  Not after the miracle, not after the chains were broken, but
• 3:03
  before. And suddenly there was an
• 3:06
  earthquake. The prison's door opened, the
• 3:10
  chains fell off. You know what really hits me?
• 3:15
  They appraise. They didn't come after freedom.
• 3:18
  They appraise led to the freedom.
• 3:21
  And sometimes our situation doesn't change immediately, but
• 3:27
  when we choose to trust God in the middle of a pain, something
• 3:31
  begins to change inside us first.
• 3:35
  Some of us listening today may not be in a physical prison, but
• 3:40
  we feel trapped by fear, pressure, habits, guilt or
• 3:47
  disappointment. And God is saying today, I'm
• 3:50
  still here, I'm still close, I still break chains even at
• 3:56
  midnight, even when answers are delayed, even when faith feels
• 4:02
  weak. So wherever you are listening
• 4:06
  from today, just take a moment and think about your own life.
• 4:11
  What is that change you are carrying?
• 4:13
  What is that midnight season you're walking through?
• 4:18
  The same God who was close to Paul and Silas in prison is
• 4:23
  close to you right now. And before we move on, let's
• 4:29
  bring all of this to God together.
• 4:32
  Let us pray. Lord, thank you so much for
• 4:36
  loving us the way you do. Thank you for being close when
• 4:40
  we are broken. For every young person listening
• 4:44
  right now who feels tired, confused, or struck, remind them
• 4:49
  that you haven't left them. Give them peace where there is
• 4:55
  anxiety, strength where there is weakness, and hope where there
• 5:01
  is discouragement. Help us trust You even when we
• 5:05
  don't understand the process. We choose you again today, Lord,
• 5:09
