  Voices you can trust We live surrounded by voices.
• 0:15
  Some are loud, some are subtle, some sound confident but carry
• 0:19
  no wisdom at all. Opinions come from everywhere
• 0:22
  and not every voice deserves your trust.

  Proverbs chapter 14 verses 5 and seven says that a faithful
• 0:29
  witness does not lie and that we should leave the presence of a
• 0:32
  fool because there we do not meet words of knowledge.
• 0:37
  Then in Mark Chapter 9 verse 7, as Jesus stands in glory, a
• 0:40
  voice comes from the cloud saying, this is my beloved son,
• 0:44
  listen to him. That command is just as needed
• 0:47
  now as it was then. Listen to Him, not just admire
• 0:51
  him, not just quote him when it is convenient.
• 0:54
  Listen to Him in a noisy world. The voice of Jesus is the one
• 0:58
  voice that is always true, always pure, and always leading
• 1:02
  toward life. There are voices that stir fear
• 1:05
  in you, voices that pressure you to compromise, voices that
• 1:09
  normalize sin and make you feel foolish for wanting to honor
• 1:12
  God. There are also inner voices, the
• 1:15
  ones that whisper that you are not enough, not loved, or too
• 1:18
  far gone. And sometimes those are the
• 1:21
  hardest voices to silence. But the Father points us back to
• 1:25
  Jesus. Listen to Him.
• 1:27
  He tells the truth about sin, but also about grace.
• 1:31
  He calls for surrender, but he also offers rest.
• 1:34
  He exposes what is false, but he never leads with cruelty.
• 1:38
  His voice is steady in a world of confusion.
• 1:41
  Learning to hear Him means staying close to Scripture,
• 1:44
  making room for prayer, and being humble enough to receive
• 1:48
  wisdom from mature believers who reflect His heart.
• 1:51
  It also means being willing to step away from foolish
• 1:54
  influence, even when it is popular or familiar.
• 1:58
  The voice you follow will shape the person you become, so do not
• 2:01
  hand your heart to every opinion.
• 2:04
  Let Jesus be the loudest voice in your life.
• 2:07
  His words will never lead you wrong.
• 2:09
  Let's pray. Heavenly Father, thank you for
• 2:11
  speaking clearly through Your Son in a world full of noise and
• 2:15
  confusion. Help me recognize Your truth and
• 2:18
  follow it with courage. Teach me to step away from
• 2:21
  voices that pull me from You and to tune my heart to the voice of
• 2:24
  Jesus. Fill me with discernment, peace,
• 2:27
  and obedience so that my life is shaped by what you say, not by
• 2:30
  the noise around me. In Jesus name, Amen.

  the scribes say that Elijah must come first?

  He said to them, Elijah indeed comes first and restores all

  of Man that he should suffer many things and be despised?

  But I tell you that Elijah has come, and they have also done to

  him whatever they wanted to, even as it is written about him

  coming to the disciples, He saw a great multitude around them,

  and scribes questioning them. Immediately all the multitude,

  when they saw him, were greatly amazed, and running to him,

  greeted him. He asked the scribes, What are

  you asking them? One of the multitude answered.

  Teacher, I brought to you my son who has a mute spirit, and

  wherever it seizes him, it throws him down, and he foams at

  the mouth, grinds his teeth and becomes rigid.

  I asked your disciples to cast it out, and they weren't able.

  He answered him, Unbelieving generation, how long shall I be

  with you? How long shall I bear with you?

  Bring him to me. They brought him to him, and

  when he saw him, immediately the spirit convulsed him and he fell
• 6:24
  on the ground, wallowing and foaming at the mouth.

  He asked his father, How long has it been since this has been

  happening to him? He said from childhood often it
• 6:34
  has cast him both into the fire and into the water to destroy
• 6:37
  him. But if you can do anything, have

  compassion on us and help us. Jesus said to him, If you can

  believe, all things are possible to him who believes?

  Immediately the father of the child cried out with tears.

  I believe, help my unbelief. When Jesus saw that a multitude

  came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit,

  saying to Him, You mute and deaf spirit, I command you come out

  of him and never enter him again.

  After crying out and convulsing him greatly, it came out of him.

  The boy became like 1 dead, so much that most of them said He

  is dead. But Jesus took him by the hand

  his disciples asked him privately, Why couldn't we cast

  it out? He said to them, This kind can

  come out by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.

  They went out from there and passed through Galilee.

  He didn't want anyone to know it, for He was teaching his
• 7:36
  disciples and said to them, The Son of Man is being handed over
• 7:41
  to the hands of men, and they will kill him, and when he is
• 7:44
  killed on the third day he will rise again.

  But they didn't understand the saying and were afraid to ask
• 7:51
  him. He came to Capernaum, and when
• 7:53
  he was in the house he asked them, What were you arguing
• 7:56
  among yourselves on the way? But they were silent, for they
• 8:00
  had disputed with one another on the way about who was the
• 8:03
  greatest. He sat down and called the 12,
• 8:07
  and he said to them, If any man wants to be first, he shall be
• 8:10
  last of all, and servant of all. He took a little child and set
• 8:14
  him in the middle of them, taking him in his arms.

  He said to them, Whoever receives one such little child
• 8:21
  in my name receives me, and whoever receives me doesn't
• 8:24
  receive me, but him who sent me. John said to him, Teacher, we
• 8:29
  saw someone who doesn't follow us casting out demons in your
• 8:31
  name, and we forbade him because he doesn't follow us.

  But Jesus said, don't forbid him.
• 8:38
  For there is no one who will do a mighty work in my name and be
• 8:42
  able quickly to speak evil of me.
• 8:44
  For whoever is not against us is on our side.
• 8:47
  For whoever will give you a cup of water to drink in my name,
• 8:50
  because you are Christ S most certainly, I tell you, He will
• 8:54
  in no way lose his reward. Whoever will cause one of these
• 8:58
  little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for
• 9:01
  him if you were thrown into the sea with a millstone hung around
• 9:05
  his neck. If your hand causes you to
• 9:08
  stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter
• 9:12
  into life maimed rather than having your two hands to go into
• 9:15
  Gehenna, into the unquenchable fire.
• 9:18
  Where their worm doesn't die. And the fire is not quenched.
• 9:22
  If your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off.
• 9:26
  It is better for you to enter into life lame rather than
• 9:29
  having your two feet to be cast into Gehenna, into the fire that
• 9:32
  will never be quenched. Where their worm doesn't die.
• 9:36
  And the fire is not quenched. If your eye causes you to
• 9:39
  stumble, throw it out. It is better for you to enter
• 9:43
  into God's Kingdom with one eye rather than having two eyes to
• 9:47
  be cast into the Gehenna fire. Where their worm doesn't die.
• 9:51
  And the fire is not quenched, for everyone will be salted with
• 9:55
  fire, and every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt.
• 9:59
  Salt is good, but if the salt has lost its saltiness, with
• 10:03
  what will you season it? Have salt in yourselves and be
• 10:06
