- 0:03Speaker 1: All right, all right, yo yo yoo yo yo Life
- 0:07Speaker 1: from Philly. It's the number one rated Polly Tony Foosco,
- 0:10Speaker 1: Yah yo YoY Fosco. Here with Tony Fosco and Tony
- 0:18Speaker 1: huge show today. You know, last week we sat here
- 0:22Speaker 1: and boldly said, didn't we Tony, We said, don't fall
- 0:26Speaker 1: for the media cover up. Super Bowl fifty seven is
- 0:30Speaker 1: far from overco crop. We're just waiting. The truth is
- 0:35Speaker 1: gonna come out about what really happened. And sure enough, Tony,
- 0:38Speaker 1: now here we are. Yeah. You see all these other
- 0:40Speaker 1: major media outlets starting to follow our lead. Here is
- 0:44Speaker 1: they then to catch? Noways Yeah, And a huge story
- 0:47Speaker 1: just came out of ESPN revealing new details which further
- 0:52Speaker 1: throw the outcome of the Super Bowl in the question. Yep,
- 0:56Speaker 1: wipe the slate clean. We're only in the first quarter here.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Soon there'll be the congressional hearing, the lawsuits. You'll see
- 1:03Speaker 1: it's all called pa Bowl anyway. Yeah, don't worry. We're
- 1:06Speaker 1: also going to get into the breaking nose out of
- 1:08Speaker 1: the NBA Lebron James injured or so, he says. You know,
- 1:13Speaker 1: we're going to expose that story exactly. But first, right now,
- 1:17Speaker 1: we continue our special investigative coverage of Super Bowl fifty
- 1:22Speaker 1: seven in this FUSCO special report special Pap Bowl. Just
- 1:29Speaker 1: when you thought the result of the Super Bowl couldn't
- 1:32Speaker 1: get any more suspicious, now a brave whistleblower is speaking
- 1:38Speaker 1: up the most trusted authority of Super Bowl integrity. Of course,
- 1:43Speaker 1: I'm talking about a name we all know, legendary groundskeeper
- 1:47Speaker 1: George Tooma, who supersowlshield as y'all know for every single
- 1:52Speaker 1: super Bowl known to us all as the sad Father.
- 1:55Speaker 1: He has Bubby come out and set the field for
- 1:58Speaker 1: Super Bowl fifty seven was quote overwater. We all knew
- 2:03Speaker 1: looking at the field, we almost made the field too
- 2:06Speaker 1: slippery to play on, and he said it wasn't sanded properly.
- 2:10Speaker 1: A clear day of gardening mail practice. Now this story
- 2:14Speaker 1: is sending shockwaves through the league and also the entire
- 2:18Speaker 1: landscaping community. And that's why today we are doing special
- 2:22Speaker 1: coverage of this scandal. You thought Watergate was big, This
- 2:26Speaker 1: is over Watergate, water Game, the Super Bowl cover up. Now,
- 2:33Speaker 1: before we get into the details here, we do want
- 2:35Speaker 1: to tell you we did reach out and invite Commissioner
- 2:38Speaker 1: Goodell on the show. No respond Yeah, exactly, And we
- 2:43Speaker 1: did reach out to several people in the league and
- 2:45Speaker 1: league offices the Chicken to come on. One person did
- 2:50Speaker 1: say yes, probably because he wants exposure or something. We
- 2:54Speaker 1: didn't want to have him on the show again because
- 2:56Speaker 1: he was terrible last time, but he was at Super
- 2:59Speaker 1: Bowl fifty seven, so he might he might have some
- 3:01Speaker 1: insight to some insight as to what happened there, Unlike
- 3:05Speaker 1: our guest last week, Eric Eager Chiefs Homer Nerd, Yeah Nerd. Anyway,
- 3:11Speaker 1: his name's Rash mccaze, and he actually took a photo
- 3:16Speaker 1: of the field for the Super Bowl days before they played. Well,
- 3:19Speaker 1: what happened to that photo? Suddenly it's deleted to be found.
- 3:24Speaker 1: So we're gonna find out what he's trying to hide there.
- 3:27Speaker 1: But first let's dig deeper into this troubling story. You know,
- 3:31Speaker 1: in case you haven't been following it as closely as
- 3:33Speaker 1: we have, which you should be. A war of words
- 3:36Speaker 1: has broken out between George Thoma and his underling NFL
- 3:40Speaker 1: field director Ed mangan Now. According to ESPN, Tooma claimed
- 3:46Speaker 1: that mangan quote didn't do when it came to standing
- 3:50Speaker 1: the field prior to the game. Yeah, Thoma said about
- 3:54Speaker 1: mangan and how he handled the grass. Quote, he waters
- 3:57Speaker 1: the hell out of it and puts it right into
- 4:00Speaker 1: the stadium and that's it. Never sees sunlight again. He
- 4:04Speaker 1: can't do that. Incredible And then Toomo also alleged that
- 4:08Speaker 1: the field had a rotten smell. Yeah, something definitely smells rotten,
- 4:13Speaker 1: all right, Yeah, Thoma said, Quote, he sanded it two
- 4:16Speaker 1: weeks too late. He had only one standing. He should
- 4:21Speaker 1: have had two or three sandings at least, but he
- 4:23Speaker 1: didn't do And that was it. And not only that,
- 4:27Speaker 1: he didn't take care of it. He wouldn't listen to anybody, Tony,
- 4:32Speaker 1: your reaction, What was the first thing I said when
- 4:36Speaker 1: we were watching the game. They didn't sand the field
- 4:40Speaker 1: properly exactly. I could tell right away. Anybody who knows
- 4:44Speaker 1: anything knows you have to sand the field several times.
- 4:49Speaker 1: And you could tell when the Eagles started slipping all
- 4:51Speaker 1: over the place and then Jalen Hurts fumbled, that was
- 4:54Speaker 1: the result of the field being not properly sanded. As
- 4:59Speaker 1: they say in the world the groundskeeping, if the grass
- 5:02Speaker 1: is too wet, then you must forfeit. So well, put Tony,
- 5:07Speaker 1: and you know there have been extensive coverage of this
- 5:10Speaker 1: Super Bowl grass in the days leading up to the game,
- 5:13Speaker 1: you know, yeah, yeah, and this is true. They actually
- 5:16Speaker 1: had a whole article on it, which at the time
- 5:19Speaker 1: seemed like a terrible content strategy, but now it actually
- 5:22Speaker 1: see bullets are worthy, you know, exactly currently. What it
- 5:25Speaker 1: says in this article is that the grass for the
- 5:28Speaker 1: Super Bowl is typically grown in Alabama, Georgia, California, where
- 5:33Speaker 1: you know grass grows. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. For some bat reason,
- 5:38Speaker 1: they decided to grow it in Phoenix. The hell tries
- 5:41Speaker 1: to grow grass in a desert. I'll tell you who
- 5:45Speaker 1: that clown ed mangan yep. But it doesn't even stop that,
- 5:49Speaker 1: Tony because this grass for the Super Bowl, this wasn't
- 5:53Speaker 1: like your typical grass you find out, you know, in
- 5:56Speaker 1: home depot or whatnot. The grass was actually developed some
- 6:00Speaker 1: kind of scientific laboratory. This is trope people by a
- 6:04Speaker 1: guy named Yankee Wu and he's apparently a professor at
- 6:09Speaker 1: Oklahoma State University. Don't tell me which NFL team is
- 6:16Speaker 1: closest to Oklahoma State University. I know who that would be,
- 6:23Speaker 1: That Kansas City Chiefs. Ye. You know, this has collusion
- 6:27Speaker 1: written all over it. The Chiefs knew the Eagles were
- 6:30Speaker 1: a run first team and that a slippery field would
- 6:33Speaker 1: give them a huge advantage. If there's anything that's slippery,
- 6:37Speaker 1: it's the Chiefs who clearly worked with Yankee Wu and
- 6:40Speaker 1: Ed Mangan and the team of laboratory grass scientists to
- 6:45Speaker 1: undermine the Eagles. Absolutely reeks of corruption. And you know
- 6:49Speaker 1: this brings us back to the petition we launched last
- 6:52Speaker 1: week on this show to tell the NFL to declare
- 6:55Speaker 1: no winner for Super Bowl fifty seven. And the petition
- 6:59Speaker 1: has been on line a change dot org. So let's
- 7:02Speaker 1: check in right now, Jay, how many hundreds of thousands
- 7:05Speaker 1: of signatures are we up to? Now? You only have
- 7:09Speaker 1: one hundred ninety seven signatures total. How that's not even possible.
- 7:14Speaker 1: I had over two thousand text messages from our fans saying, yo,
- 7:18Speaker 1: just sign clearly can't read numbers or you know what
- 7:21Speaker 1: that is. That's the algorithm hiding the truth. It hides
- 7:24Speaker 1: the makes sense. Don't let them do that to you?
- 7:27Speaker 1: Or do they cover and they go to stand up
- 7:30Speaker 1: for what's right and go to change dot org. Now
- 7:32Speaker 1: you can click sign the petition, keep signing this podcast.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Don't worry about the algorithm. Let's get this fixed. Anyway,
- 7:38Speaker 1: Let's just move on to you know, a big story
- 7:40Speaker 1: out of the NBA. I guess Lebron James injured out
- 7:46Speaker 1: for at least a few weeks with a foot injury. Now,
- 7:49Speaker 1: there are so many strange pots to this story, Dote Dounting.
- 7:52Speaker 1: You know it was broke. The ESPN headline read and
- 7:56Speaker 1: I quote sauces Lebron James fee out several weeks with
- 8:02Speaker 1: foot injury. Feared interest choice Tony who feared this injury?
- 8:08Speaker 1: Because I certainly the hell didn't. Yeah, if anything, I
- 8:13Speaker 1: feared Lebron continuing to play so I wouldn't have to
- 8:16Speaker 1: hear about him all the time. Same year, Tony. And
- 8:19Speaker 1: you know what's so interesting here? You know, Lebron he's
- 8:22Speaker 1: playing just fine, having a good season, and one yeah,
- 8:24Speaker 1: everything's good. Yeah, suddenly you know he's he's chasing the playoffs.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Then suddenly Kevin Durant joins the Suns. Lebron's realized he
- 8:33Speaker 1: had no shot at the title. And then suddenly he's like, oh, oh,
- 8:36Speaker 1: oh I can't play. Yeah, oh my foot pop. Did
- 8:42Speaker 1: you guys hear that? You didn't hear that? Oh my
- 8:43Speaker 1: foot totally popped? You know, in. First he said he
- 8:46Speaker 1: had a problem with the left foot. Then the doctor
- 8:48Speaker 1: said the left foot was okay. Suddenly it was a
- 8:50Speaker 1: problem with the right foot. Yeah, no, it's my body's
- 8:53Speaker 1: seen the X right here. Has anybody looked at his
- 8:55Speaker 1: medical records? You know, because this just reels reveals the
- 9:00Speaker 1: truth about Lebron, doesn't it. You know, don't be fooled people.
- 9:03Speaker 1: He doesn't want to make the playoffs. The goal for
- 9:06Speaker 1: every NBA player these days isn't to win a title,
- 9:09Speaker 1: it's the play in as few games, boss, Relax, and
- 9:12Speaker 1: still they want to do. You know, these NBA basketball players,
- 9:16Speaker 1: they're not playing basketball, They're playing hooky. Isn't that right doing?
- 9:20Speaker 1: It just goes to show that the NBA is clearly
- 9:23Speaker 1: responsible for so many of society zills. No wonder employers
- 9:28Speaker 1: have so much trouble finding workers. I mean, if a
- 9:31Speaker 1: guy getting paid forty fifty million dollars is allowed to
- 9:35Speaker 1: not show up for his job, then why should a
- 9:37Speaker 1: guy getting paid seventeen fifty show up for his When
- 9:41Speaker 1: I see the unemployment stats, yes, I blame Joe Biden first,
- 9:46Speaker 1: but Lebron James is a close second. Another great point, Tony,
- 9:51Speaker 1: and you know, on the subject of people, we can't
- 9:53Speaker 1: stand one of them's coming on the line. Oh yeah,
- 9:59Speaker 1: gets over with it. Bring him on the FUSCO Satellite
- 10:02Speaker 1: Network Satellite. As we continue special investigative report on Super
- 10:10Speaker 1: Bowl fifty seven, we bring in this guy, the host
- 10:13Speaker 1: of the rash Markazi Show, longtime journalist writer. Whatever. Look,
- 10:19Speaker 1: he's gonna be Frankia. You know, we really didn't want
- 10:21Speaker 1: to bring you on the show again because your last
- 10:23Speaker 1: performance was just terrible. You know the only reason we're
- 10:26Speaker 1: bringing you back, to be honest, is because, you know,
- 10:29Speaker 1: it really recently came to our attention that you're you're
- 10:31Speaker 1: at Super Bowl fifty seven days before the game started.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Is that true? Did they really like someone of your caliber?
- 10:39Speaker 1: Low caliber? In they did? I got to walk on
- 10:42Speaker 1: the fields as soon as they put the SAD back.
- 10:45Speaker 1: I think it was a it was a Tuesday, Tuesday
- 10:48Speaker 1: or Wednesday. Yes, interesting. So I assume, given that you'll
- 10:52Speaker 1: seem to be an expert on SAD, that you were
- 10:54Speaker 1: up to speed on the breaking and shocking developments surrounding
- 10:59Speaker 1: Super Bowl fifty seven. Yes, you know, this is like
- 11:02Speaker 1: my favorite story that no one but you guys are
- 11:05Speaker 1: talking about exactly this, This sad gate, the sadgate is
- 11:10Speaker 1: very actually water gate. That's better and more clever than
- 11:17Speaker 1: the thing you just came up with. To'll be perfectly honest,
- 11:20Speaker 1: but I keep going, gah go no, I mean, I mean,
- 11:24Speaker 1: usually there's not this kind of drama between the previous
- 11:28Speaker 1: guy who did the sad and the new guy who
- 11:30Speaker 1: s But you know, the old guy, the sod bother
- 11:35Speaker 1: is publicly crapping on the new guys. That. So you
- 11:38Speaker 1: are familiar with legendary groundskeeper George Toma. I'm very impressed
- 11:42Speaker 1: you're up to speed here, ye and uh so, so
- 11:45Speaker 1: we want to get into some details. Day you were
- 11:48Speaker 1: apparently at the Super Bowl days before the game was played,
- 11:51Speaker 1: and you took a photo of the field and tweeted
- 11:54Speaker 1: it but then deleted it. So you know, what are
- 11:56Speaker 1: you trying to hide? There? You trying to hide What's
- 11:58Speaker 1: what's really going on. I'm not sure why the league
- 12:02Speaker 1: thought that that was a secret what the field look like.
- 12:06Speaker 1: But I did take a picture of the field, I
- 12:08Speaker 1: posted it, and I was gently reminded that I was
- 12:11Speaker 1: not allowed, for whatever reason, to take a picture of
- 12:13Speaker 1: the field. That Listen, this is before the Super Bowl,
- 12:15Speaker 1: So I'm not going to put my prudential to cover
- 12:19Speaker 1: the game at stake for a picture of the field,
- 12:20Speaker 1: which I still have the picture, but not knowing that
- 12:24Speaker 1: the field would play such a dramatic role in the game.
- 12:27Speaker 1: We hold on who intimidated you here? I mean, is
- 12:31Speaker 1: this Roger Goodell? Is it an angry horde of landscapers
- 12:33Speaker 1: who came after you for the guy who waters the grass?
- 12:36Speaker 1: Was like, hey, yeah, no it was It was someone
- 12:42Speaker 1: in pr that I think basically pulled everyone no pictures
- 12:45Speaker 1: of the field. So I don't know why we got uh.
- 12:48Speaker 1: You know, we were there to talk to the listen.
- 12:52Speaker 1: We were there to talk to Toma and the groundskeeper
- 12:55Speaker 1: because if you guys remember, they really bragged on the
- 12:59Speaker 1: fact that for the past last year, here's how we
- 13:01Speaker 1: put this field together. You know, we've whield it in
- 13:04Speaker 1: and wheeled it out and we've been they really brought
- 13:06Speaker 1: you know how they spend millions of dollars and over
- 13:09Speaker 1: a year making sure this was the best field. And yeah,
- 13:14Speaker 1: you know connect the dots here we dug into this.
- 13:16Speaker 1: You know, as a journalist, you'll appreciate this. You know
- 13:19Speaker 1: that the field, the grass for the field was developed
- 13:22Speaker 1: at Oklahoma State University. What's the nearest NFL team to
- 13:27Speaker 1: Oklahoma State A rash. I guess gotta be the Cowboys, right, No, no,
- 13:33Speaker 1: the Kansas City. You need to learn how to follow
- 13:36Speaker 1: a train of thought. But George Thomas said the field
- 13:40Speaker 1: had a rotten smell. Can you describe the smell to us?
- 13:44Speaker 1: What are we talking about? You know, is it more
- 13:46Speaker 1: like a dead fish or more like old under underway,
- 13:49Speaker 1: you know, like like Ben Gay or something. What are
- 13:53Speaker 1: we talking about? Listen, the field when I smelled the
- 13:57Speaker 1: field for the first time when it was first rolled in,
- 14:00Speaker 1: wasn't bad. I think Toma was referring to the fact
- 14:02Speaker 1: that they put a covering on top of the field,
- 14:05Speaker 1: and then Rihanna and the halftime show, in the pregame show,
- 14:09Speaker 1: like all this stuff was happening on a wet field.
- 14:12Speaker 1: So imagine you go for a workout or whatever, and
- 14:15Speaker 1: you have a wet T shirt and you cover that
- 14:17Speaker 1: wet T shirt it's shirt. Hold on, yeah, what are
- 14:21Speaker 1: we talking about over here? Let's get back on track here.
- 14:25Speaker 1: What yeah, all right, we're talking about We're talking about
- 14:31Speaker 1: the grass. You're talking about wet shirts. Trying to titillate
- 14:35Speaker 1: our audience here, what now like rotten eggs? Did you
- 14:39Speaker 1: smell rotten eggs? Did you smell? Did you smell? Get
- 14:42Speaker 1: to the point there was no smell whenever it was
- 14:44Speaker 1: first wheeled back in. But the smell grew apparently as
- 14:48Speaker 1: the days progress. So I'm as were you at the
- 14:50Speaker 1: game itself? For you it was yes, what was the
- 14:53Speaker 1: smell like there? It didn't smell great? It didn't smell great.
- 14:57Speaker 1: I don't know what to what to describe it as
- 14:59Speaker 1: a you're only a writer. I wouldn't expect that out
- 15:02Speaker 1: of you, dear lord, put five words together. It smelled
- 15:09Speaker 1: not good, not good. That's the best we can do here. Yeah, wow,
- 15:17Speaker 1: unbelievable good. Can you describe this dish to me at
- 15:21Speaker 1: a restaurant? I rash? Yeah it's food you eat? What? Yeah,
- 15:26Speaker 1: it's brown? Describe the field A rash. Give us some
- 15:30Speaker 1: vivid description. Rotten? What are you you know if you
- 15:34Speaker 1: open up a fridge that you've unplugged, Tony, tell him
- 15:41Speaker 1: your theory. That's what Nick Sirianni, right. Yeah. During the
- 15:44Speaker 1: national anthem, a lot of people looked at Nick Sirianni thought, wow,
- 15:48Speaker 1: he's really crying and emotional because the national anthem. Now,
- 15:52Speaker 1: while he does love this country more than anybody else,
- 15:56Speaker 1: we can't confirm that he was actually crying because this
- 15:59Speaker 1: the field smelled so awful. Yeah, so did? Were your
- 16:03Speaker 1: eyes tearing? It all a rush during the national anthem? No?
- 16:07Speaker 1: Thankfully they put me in the press box, so I
- 16:09Speaker 1: had the smell of hot dogs and popcorn. It was
- 16:11Speaker 1: I did not smell the feeling he's coming on. He's
- 16:16Speaker 1: not given us that think. Yeah, let's keep question. Are
- 16:19Speaker 1: you covering the NFL or covering full of the NFL? Exactly? Oh,
- 16:24Speaker 1: come on, guys, come on, how about this? How about this?
- 16:28Speaker 1: You know he's afraid of losing his precious badge. That's
- 16:30Speaker 1: what's going on. That's what he cares about. There's two
- 16:34Speaker 1: teams that played on that field though, right, it wasn't
- 16:36Speaker 1: just one team. One is a passing team team. Yeah,
- 16:43Speaker 1: that hurts them more. That's why the Chiefs sabotaged the field.
- 16:46Speaker 1: So they just slip sliding all over the place. You
- 16:49Speaker 1: know that exact? Come on? You kidding all right? Yeah,
- 16:55Speaker 1: he's too busy imagining himself in a wet T shirt.
- 16:58Speaker 1: I don't know where I think I'm too. He's struggling
- 17:00Speaker 1: to come up with the words. He's struggling to come
- 17:03Speaker 1: up with words. It maybe we'll get four out of him. Okay, yeah,
- 17:07Speaker 1: all right, Look, you know why we got you here.
- 17:09Speaker 1: You know, on our last show we revealed what you
- 17:12Speaker 1: know that you are a total Lakers homer. You're probably
- 17:15Speaker 1: you're probably crying in your wet T shirt. That's why
- 17:17Speaker 1: your T shirts wet because of the Lebron injury. All
- 17:20Speaker 1: those twas those Lebron come on, don't listen to it,
- 17:23Speaker 1: all right, don't you think it's a little suspicious to
- 17:25Speaker 1: Lebron gets injured all of a sudden, right, put it together.
- 17:29Speaker 1: He's playing so well, then suddenly Kevin Durant joins the Suns,
- 17:33Speaker 1: and then suddenly he's like, oh my fo you guys
- 17:38Speaker 1: for a title anymore? Like my foot popped? Everybody? Right, No, listen,
- 17:44Speaker 1: I mean, Lebron was having a good season. I thought
- 17:47Speaker 1: they could have made the playing tournament. Who knows, maybe
- 17:50Speaker 1: they'll make it. My dream was the Lakers to having
- 17:54Speaker 1: Philadelphia season where they got to the finals and then
- 17:57Speaker 1: they lost. I mean, that was my dream for the Lakers,
- 17:59Speaker 1: But I don't think it was gonna happen this Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 18:06Speaker 1: how long you spend writing that one? Rush? Don't you
- 18:11Speaker 1: think we as the media have a right to review
- 18:13Speaker 1: his personal medical records and just you know, make sure
- 18:16Speaker 1: he's not just resting. Yeah, he's saying that he's not
- 18:19Speaker 1: playing because he's afraid of Kevin durand exact, yeah, exactly,
- 18:23Speaker 1: that's exactly what he was gonna lose. No, he's not
- 18:26Speaker 1: afraid of Kevin Duran. Come on now, kidding me? The
- 18:31Speaker 1: West is wide open. This is why I'm so upset
- 18:34Speaker 1: that he's not playing right now. I mean, who is
- 18:36Speaker 1: who is he supposed to be afraid of the Suns?
- 18:40Speaker 1: You're going to read something called NBA standings. Yeah, they're
- 18:44Speaker 1: the eleventh seed. Okay, I said, I don't have there
- 18:47Speaker 1: to be the ten seed. That's all I want. Yeah,
- 18:49Speaker 1: all right, listen, we've covered a lot of seeds and
- 18:51Speaker 1: sides in this show. Yeah, all right, you know what,
- 18:55Speaker 1: can we just go back to something because I'm not
- 18:57Speaker 1: over it yet. You know you said the field smelled rotten. Well,
- 19:00Speaker 1: you know what smells rotten to me is your inability
- 19:02Speaker 1: to describe this rotten field. Okay, yeah, can you for
- 19:06Speaker 1: our audience, so they know as a journal smells like
- 19:13Speaker 1: you ever walk into a public restroom. I mean, I mean,
