- 0:25Speaker 1: the world around me reminds me of Your majesty and magnificence.

- 1:03Speaker 2: Stay tuned for today's free podcast, Meditative Prayers with Zach Clinton,
- 1:08Speaker 2: where you can draw close to God and find strength
- 1:11Speaker 2: in Him.
- 1:14Speaker 3: My friends, welcome to your meditative prayer on enjoying life.
- 1:18Speaker 3: To get the most out of your spiritual journey, use
- 1:20Speaker 3: Pray.com every day and make prayer a priority in your life. Again,
- 1:24Speaker 3: our goal for today's meditative prayer is all about enjoying life.
- 1:28Speaker 3: So let's just take some time to prepare to step
- 1:30Speaker 3: out And just spend a moment with God. Maybe close
- 1:34Speaker 3: your eyes. Take a deep breath in. And then exhale out.
- 1:41Speaker 3: And now clear your mind of the stress of the day.
- 1:45Speaker 3: Taking captive every thought. Now shift your focus unto God.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Because the Holy Spirit is waiting for you. Today we'll
- 1:53Speaker 3: be meditating on Psalm 2713 from the King James Version.
- 1:58Speaker 3: I had fainted unless I had believed to see the
- 2:01Speaker 3: goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Let's just take a moment now just to simply pour
- 2:08Speaker 3: out our adoration to God. Jesus, you are my good shepherd.
- 2:13Speaker 3: You pour out your blessings upon me and your mercies
- 2:16Speaker 3: never cease. You overwhelm me with your kindness and your goodness. Father,
- 2:22Speaker 3: I worship you for you own the cattle on a
- 2:25Speaker 3: thousand hills and all things are under your dominion. I
- 2:30Speaker 3: adore you, high king of heaven and of earth, for
- 2:33Speaker 3: you have prepared my eyes to see your wonderful works. Promise.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Have faith that God has goodness for you here, not
- 2:44Speaker 3: just when you go to heaven. Because God has good
- 2:47Speaker 3: things for you here on earth in the land of
- 2:49Speaker 3: the living. He wants you to see his goodness with
- 2:53Speaker 3: your own eyes. So my friends, trust in God's promises.
- 2:58Speaker 3: The same heart that has felt pain and hardship, he
- 3:02Speaker 3: wants to feel joy. Jesus said that we would have
- 3:06Speaker 3: trials and tribulations, but that we should take heart because
- 3:09Speaker 3: he has already overcome the world. Persevere through hope in
- 3:14Speaker 3: your faith, knowing that God is who he says he is,
- 3:18Speaker 3: so he will keep his promises. Even when the circumstances
- 3:23Speaker 3: say otherwise and all seems lost, you can hope against hope.
- 3:27Speaker 3: You can trust that Jesus is in control and he
- 3:32Speaker 3: will come through for you. So take this moment to
- 3:36Speaker 3: come to him, knowing he has good things waiting for you.
- 3:41Speaker 3: Maybe confess your sins right now before him. And with
- 3:46Speaker 3: confidence that God has goodness set aside as your portion,
- 3:50Speaker 3: lean into everything he has for you right here on
- 3:52Speaker 3: this earth. Now let's take just a few minutes to
- 3:59Speaker 3: dwell on the promises of God. Thank Jesus for speaking
- 4:03Speaker 3: so many good and encouraging words over you. Thank God
- 4:07Speaker 3: for his faithfulness to you. Thank Jesus for being the
- 4:12Speaker 3: yes and amen to all of God's promises. Now think
- 4:17Speaker 3: of past situations where you were overwhelmed with blessings. Thank
- 4:21Speaker 3: God for filling your cup to overflowing, for promising to
- 4:24Speaker 3: fill your mouth with laughter and your tongue with singing.
- 4:29Speaker 3: God is present and he is listening to you. Jesus
- 4:33Speaker 3: is the word of God, the fulfillment of all of
- 4:36Speaker 3: God's promises. He has gone ahead to prepare a place
- 4:40Speaker 3: for you, but you don't have to wait to experience
- 4:43Speaker 3: God's goodness. Ask him to help you see his blessings
- 4:47Speaker 3: around you today. And ask the Holy Spirit for the
- 4:50Speaker 3: ability to experience fullness of joy. Remember, we should expect
- 4:56Speaker 3: to see God's goodness here on this earth. So give
- 4:59Speaker 3: yourself permission to hope. To believe that God has beauty
- 5:03Speaker 3: and joy for you here. Open your eyes to the
- 5:07Speaker 3: wonders that he has set around you. Taste and see
- 5:10Speaker 3: that the Lord is good. And remember, he has great
- 5:14Speaker 3: things for you. Sometimes we just have to wait and see.
- 5:19Speaker 3: My friends, thank you for completing today's meditative prayer on Pray.com.
