- Lucas: Hey Luna, welcome back to Learn Amharic with Fexingo. Luna: Hey Lucas, so glad to be here. I've been practicing from our last episode at the restaurant, and I actually used the bill phrase. Lucas: You did? That's awesome. And since Fexingo has been helping you make progress, let's keep it going. Luna: Absolutely. And you know, I love that we don't have ads interrupting our learning. Lucas: Yeah, that's intentional. If you want to support that ad-free choice, you can visit buy me a coffee dot com slash fexingo. Luna: It's a simple way to say thanks and keep this show going. Lucas: Exactly. Now, today we're heading to the pharmacy. Luna: Ooh, I hope I won't need it, but good to know. What's the word for medicine? Lucas: It's መድሃኒት. Let's say it together: መድሃኒት. Luna: መድሃኒት. I like that. So if I need medicine, I say መድሃኒት እፈልጋለሁ. Lucas: Perfect. That means 'I need medicine.' Luna: መድሃኒት እፈልጋለሁ. I need medicine. Lucas: And what if you have a headache? The word for headache is ራስ ምታት. So you'd say I have a headache. Oh, I hope I don't have to use that, but good to know. Lucas: And if you need to find the pharmacy, you ask That's 'Where is the pharmacy?' Where is the pharmacy? That's helpful for traveling. Lucas: Exactly. Let's do a quick scene. You walk into a pharmacy and say መድሃኒት እፈልጋለሁ. Luna: መድሃኒት እፈልጋለሁ. Should I also say I have a headache? Lucas: Good idea. You could say ራስ ምታት አለብኝ too. So the pharmacist knows what to give me. Lucas: Right. And if you're lost, ask I think I've got it. But let me practice them all once more. Lucas: Go for it. Lucas: Wow, that was perfect. You're ready for the pharmacy. Luna: Thanks, Lucas. I feel more confident now. And remember, practice makes progress. Lucas: Absolutely. See you next time on Learn Amharic with Fexingo.
